Mijn meer dan 40 jaar ervaring met tuinieren en het telen van vele
soorten (klein)fruit zonder scheikundige bemesting en - spuiten wil ik
meedelen en zelf nog bijleren.

LiedBramleys Seedling
Bi -Centenary Song of the Bramley Apple.
Near the Minster in Southwell, how it happeneds a puzzle,
Little Mary Ann created a
new variety
In the shade of her garden after frost made it harden,
She planted a pip from a
friends apple tree.
Oh, sing of the Apple, oh sing of the Apple, what sort are you going
to be?
Oh, sing of the Apple, oh sing of the Apple, what is to become of
thee?
Some forthy years later, Matthew Bramley proprietor,
He finds in his garden Mary Anns grown - up tree,
By now one could savour the fruits full of flavour,
Matthew handed them out round the city for free.
Oh, sing of the Apple, oh sing of the Apple, youre now a celebrity!
Oh, sing of the Apple, oh sing of the Apple, a futures assured for
thee !
Merryweathers ambition,
with Matthews permission,
Was to multiply maidens from the seedling well-tried,
With crab root stock mixture, hot wax for a fixture
He crafted new fruit trees
and new orchards supplied!
Oh, sing of the Bramley, oh sing of the Bramley, in plantations far
and wide
Oh, sing of the Bramley, oh sing of the Bramley, in thee we take such
pride!
Two hundred years later, no fame could be greater
Than the flavour of those apples from Mary Anns tree,
In pies theyre eponymous, in kitchens synonymous
With the culinary heights of our great history
So sing of the Bramley, oh sing of the Bramley, as loud as can be,
Oh sing of the Bramley, oh sing of the Bramley, we are proud to honour
thee!
