For The First Time in History, a Spacecraft Has 'Touched' The Sun

In an incredible historic first, a human-made spacecraft has swooped in and made contact with the Sun.
On 28 April 2021, NASA's Parker Solar Probe actually flew into and through the solar corona, the upper atmosphere of the Sun. Not only did it live to tell the tale – proving the efficacy of Parker's high-tech heat shielding – it took in situ measurements, giving us a wealth of never-before-seen data on the heart of our Solar System.
"Parker Solar Probe 'touching the Sun' is a monumental moment for solar science and a truly remarkable feat," said astrophysicist Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator for the Science Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters.
"Not only does this milestone provide us with deeper insights into our Sun's evolution and its impacts on our Solar System, but everything we learn about our own star also teaches us more about stars in the rest of the Universe."
Parker Solar Probe launched in 2018, with its primary objective to probe the solar corona. In its planned seven-year mission, it should be making a total of 26 close approaches, or perihelions, to the Sun, using a total of seven gravity assist maneuvers from Venus to bring it ever closer. The April perihelion was the eighth, and the first to actually enter the corona.
In its nearly five hours inside the solar atmosphere, Parker measured fluctuations in the Sun's magnetic field and sampled particles. Previously, our estimates of these properties relied on external information.
"Flying so close to the Sun, Parker Solar Probe now senses conditions in the magnetically dominated layer of the solar atmosphere – the corona – that we never could before," said astrophysicist Nour Raouafi, Parker project scientist at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory.
"We see evidence of being in the corona in magnetic field data, solar wind data, and visually in images. We can actually see the spacecraft flying through coronal structures that can be observed during a total solar eclipse."

The Sun doesn't have a solid surface. Instead, its boundary is defined by what we call the Alfvén critical surface, where gravity and the Sun's magnetic fields are too weak to contain the solar plasma.
Above this point, the solar wind emerges, blowing powerfully through the Solar System, so fast that waves within the wind break away from the Sun. What we call the 'surface' of the Sun, composed of roiling convection cells plasma and known as the photosphere, is far below.
One of the goals of Parker was to find out more about the Alfvén critical surface; namely, where it is, and what its topography is like, since we didn't know either of those things. Estimates had put the Alfvén critical surface at somewhere between 10 and 20 solar radii from the center of the Sun. Parker entered the corona at 19.7 solar radii, dipping down to as low as 18.4 solar radii during its corona jaunt.
Interestingly, the probe seemed to encounter the magnetic conditions of the corona sporadically, suggesting that the Alfvén critical surface is wrinkled. At lower depths, Parker encountered a magnetic structure known as a pseudostreamer, which we can see arcing out from the Sun during solar eclipses. Parker's data suggest that these structures are responsible for the deformation of the Alfvén critical surface, although we don't currently know why.
Inside the pseudostreamer, conditions were quieter than the surrounding solar atmosphere. Particles no longer buffeted the spacecraft quite so chaotically, and the magnetic field was more orderly.
Parker also investigated a phenomenon known as solar switchbacks. These are Z-shaped kinks in the magnetic field of the solar wind, and it's not currently known where or how they form. We've known about switchbacks since the 1990s, but it wasn't until Parker investigated them in 2019 that we learnt that they are rather common. Then on its sixth flyby, the probe's data showed us that switchbacks occur from patches.
Now Parker has detected them inside the solar atmosphere, suggesting that at least some of the switchbacks come from the lower corona.
"The structure of the regions with switchbacks matches up with a small magnetic funnel structure at the base of the corona," said astronomer Stuart Bale of the University of California, Berkeley, lead author on a paper on the phenomenon in press at The Astrophysical Journal. "This is what we expect from some theories, and this pinpoints a source for the solar wind itself."
We still don't know how these curious structures formed, but with dozens more perihelions ahead, going as close as 9.86 solar radii from the center of the Sun, we're likely to be getting some pretty fascinating answers.
"We have been observing the Sun and its corona for decades, and we know there is interesting physics going on there to heat and accelerate the solar wind plasma. Still, we cannot tell precisely what that physics is," Raouafi said.
"With Parker Solar Probe now flying into the magnetically-dominated corona, we will get the long-awaited insights into the inner workings of this mysterious region."

Thomas Zurbuchen van NASA vult aan: “Niet alleen geeft deze mijlpaal ons meer inzicht in de evolutie van onze zon en de invloed ervan op ons zonnestelsel, maar alles wat we leren over onze eigen ster, leert ons ook meer over sterren in de rest van het universum.”
De Parker Solar Probe werd op 12 augustus 2018 gelanceerd om in zeven jaar tijd 26 maal langs de zon te vliegen, telkens op kleinere afstand. Zo’n dichte toenadering tot de zon heet een perihelium. Het achtste perihelium in april was een primeur omdat de PSP voor het eerst de zonnecorona invloog. De sonde bleef bijna vijf uur in de zonneatmosfeer, mat fluctuaties in het magnetisch veld van de zon en nam monsters van deeltjes. Het gaat om waarnemingen die de mensheid tot dan nooit heeft kunnen doen.
“We kunnen het ruimtevaartuig zien vliegen door coronale structuren die we kunnen waarnemen tijdens een totale zonsverduistering”, legt astrofysicus Nour Raouafi van het Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory uit. “Nu de Parker Solar Probe in de magnetisch gedomineerde corona vliegt, krijgen we de langverwachte inzichten in de innerlijke werking van dit mysterieuze gebied.”

In this five minute video we see dozens of glowing circular objects moving across the sky. The objects are following each other in a line. Sometimes in the video I see a pair of the objects moving apart, then suddenly moving back together so it seem they are trying stay together. You can hear the eyewitnesses dismay and confusion in their voices as they watch the craft flying over them. At one point in the video one glowing object comes over them, he zoomed in on it, showing a whiteish sphere object, then it moves away. This moment excited the eyewitness who can be heard saying, "See! See I told you so!" meaning he said they were alien craft and this show of intelligence of the craft made that statement accurate.
This huge cigar-shaped UFO was filmed hovering in the daytime sky above Albuquerque in New Mexico. This happened in the recent days.
Witness report:
I watched it during an entire 15 minute drive and then filmed it once I got to the destination since the videos from the car were just awful. It stayed in that same spot. Then I sat and watched it about 5 more minutes before going inside.
It was in April 1561 when all residents of Nuremberg, Germany, came out of their houses to investigate mysterious lights and loud sounds. They watched the sky, in awe and fear as they witnessed what appeared to be some kind of air battle—and all of this in broad daylight of the early morning.
The reports of event say it lasted for about an hour, and artist Hans Glaser documented this strange event for the German Nuremberg Gazette. Describing the event, he refers to crosses, tubes, wheels, multi-colored objects and globes over the city. Hundreds of them. Objects would disappear in smoke, some even crashing into the ground. The smoke was visible for miles.
This image and description have begged explanation for centuries. What on Earth could explain these phenomena that were seemingly witnessed by many people?
Some would dismiss all of this to the appearance of meteors or comets, even other natural events, but the uniqueness of the Nuremberg incident eliminates such interpretations. The detailed description which is given by Glaser doesn’t seem to fit with any naturally occurring causes:
…the dreadful apparition filled the morning sky with cylindrical shapes from which emerged black, red, orange and blue-white spheres that darted about. Between the spheres, there were crosses with the color of blood. This frightful spectacle was witnessed by ‘numerous men and women.’ Afterwards, a black, spear-like object appeared. The author of the Gazette warned that ‘the God-fearing will by no means discard these signs, but will take it to heart as a warning of their merciful Father in heaven, will mend their lives and faithfully beg God, that he avert His wrath, including the well-deserved punishment, on us, so that we may, temporarily here and perpetually there, live as His children.’
Cylinders, crosses and a black spear-like object appearing in the sky are something that you would imagine seeing in a modern air-battle – but not something that would take place half a millennium ago!
A few years later, in 1566, another similar event took place in Basel, Switzerland, but this time it involved black orbs in a sky skirmish above the city. That event was also recorded at the time in the city’s gazette .
Another similar event took place in 1697 in Hamburg, Germany, where the crowd watched two enormous glowing wheels in the sky above the city.
Multiple reports odd phenomena in the skies over major cities my multiple people have to be describing some peculiar event. Unfortunately, there were no cameras available back then to take photos or videos of the events, so newspaper references and drawings are our only evidence. These remain open to the interpretations of many, and also to the various differing descriptions of the eyewitnesses. But nonetheless, something happened in the sky that day.

Frank Johnson has recently made an effort to debunk the Nuremberg event to sky reflections and the ‘sun dog’ lighting effect produced by the Sun, without offering any explanations for the sounds, the crashed objects or the smoke, and merely hypothesizing that these particulars could simply be either the imagination of the people or nothing at all.
Another interpretation claims the whole description could be of a ground battle, with the cylinders being cannon and the spheres being the cannon balls.
Is it possible that the entire event never happened and the newspaper reference was just a joke or at least an exaggeration of peoples reporting? Johnson notes that the broadsheets of the time, “contained the news of the weird or violent, and they had no problem stretching the truth to sell a few copies”.
When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. Of course, all have not been eliminated here, but equally a terrestrial explanation is yet to have been found. The reporting of the event so resembles what you would expect from a sky battle of modern times that explanations of a battle between visiting aliens or even some kind of time shifting event remain on the table.
It is up to you to choose what to believe, but use the evidence and take it further, and above all investigate to find the truth.

Une photo de la sonde Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter où apparaît ce qui ressemble à un objet artificiel suscite un débat passionné.
Mars n’en finit pas de livrer ses surprises et même des photos déjà anciennes peuvent donner lieu à de troublantes «découvertes». C’est ainsi qu’un certain Jean Ward, un Sud-Africain passionné de la planète rouge et surtout des anomalies plus ou moins étranges que l’on peut y trouver, fait le buzz avec une image prise par la sonde Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter en 2006, visible sur le site de l'Université de l'Arizona. Passée inaperçue à l’époque, cette photo montre une longue trace sur le sol martien, dans l'un des nombreux canyons de la région de Valles Marineris, à proximité de l’équateur.
Au bout de cette traînée, on distingue un objet circulaire d’une quinzaine de mètres de diamètre qui semble à demi enfoui dans le sable. Il n’en fallait pas plus pour déclencher un débat enflammé entre ceux qui y voient la preuve évidente du crash d’un vaisseau spatial et les sceptiques qui rappellent que les jeux d’ombres et de lumières peuvent créer les illusions les plus convaincantes. D’autant que Mars, désormais aussi photographiée qu’une star sur la Croisette, fournit régulièrement son lot de paréidolies, ces formes que le cerveau tend naturellement à forger aussi bien dans les nuages que dans le chaos de sable et de roches de notre proche voisine.
The only thing more terrifying that someone saying “Look … a black hole!” is someone saying “Look … a black hole … and it sprung a leak!” That’s the strange message coming to us from the Hubble telescope – working again and sending scary photos to remind us why it’s still the reigning king of space telescopes until the James Webb one launches, deploys and proves itself. In the meantime, NASA reports that Hubble found evidence that Sagittarius A* — the Milky Way’s supermassive black hole – is leaking a jet of hot gas. Is it time to find a giant cork … or a new galaxy?
How big is that leak?
“Our central black hole clearly surged in luminosity at least 1 millionfold in the last million years. That sufficed for a jet to punch into the Galactic halo.”
That ready-for-Jeff-Goldblum-as-a-NASA-scientist movie line comes from Tsukuba University’s Alex Wagner, co-author of new research published in the Astrophysical Journal, explaining in a NASA press release how Sagittarius A* sprung a leak … if something which happened over a million years can be considered a ‘spring’. Wagner and Gerald Cecil of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill were studying data on Sgr A* from Hubble, NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, the Jansky Very Large Array telescope in New Mexico and the ALMA Observatory in Chile when they noticed an expanding, narrow linear jet of molecular gas 15 light-years away from the black hole. Hubble infrared-wavelength images showed a glowing, inflating bubble of hot gas aligned to the jet at a distance of at least 35 light-years from the black hole. Wagner paints a better picture.
“The streams percolate out of the Milky Way’s dense gas disk. The jet diverges from a pencil beam into tendrils, like that of an octopus.”
This is a composite view of X-rays, molecular gas, and warm ionized gas near the galactic center. The orange-colored features are of glowing hydrogen gas. One such feature, at the top tip of the jet (see the annotated image below) is interpreted as a hydrogen cloud that has been hit by the outflowing jet. The jet scatters off the cloud into tendrils that flow northward. Farther down near the black hole are X-ray observations of superheated gas colored blue and molecular gas in green. These data are evidence that the black hole occasionally accretes stars or gas clouds, and ejects some of the superheated material along its spin axis.

This schematic is based on multiwavelength observations of a suspected jet from the massive black hole at the center of our Milky Way galaxy. The wide view shows our galaxy edge-on, with two huge bubbles of plasma glowing in gamma-rays and X-rays. These are evidence for an explosive outburst from the black hole about 2 million years ago. Probing deep into the galaxy's core (inset), astronomers using the Hubble Space Telescope have captured a glowing cloud of hydrogen near the black hole. The interpretation is that the cloud is being hit by a narrow, columnated jet of material that was blasted out of the black hole merely 2,000 years ago. The black hole is still active, but on a smaller scale of energy output than previously known outbursts. When the jet slams into the hydrogen knot the outflow scatters into octopus-like tendrils that continue along a trajectory out of our galaxy.

(Composite views of the leaking gas can be seen here.) While Sgr A* is said to be in a powered down state at the moment, it apparently still shows signs of activity when something gets sucked into its supermassive mouth and it belches out some gas. Unfortunately, the leak can’t be seen until it powers up again, but Cecil says that will happen soon … and it will be “cool.”
“The black hole need only increase its luminosity by a hundredfold over that time to refill the jet channel with emitting particles. It would be cool to see how far the jet gets in that outburst.”
We’re gonna need a bigger cork
When you’re an astronomer, you get your kicks wherever you can. The next step for the team is to use the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT), an international collaboration capturing images of black holes using a virtual Earth-sized telescope, to take images of the black hole’s shadow which may show where and how the leak is launched.
In the meantime, Hubble will keep sending back its fantastic images until the James Webb telescope gets its act together.
“I think they are studying us. I don’t know what they really want.”
What kind of psychic says he knows for certain that extraterrestrials have been secretly watching humans for thousands of years … yet can’t tell us what they want? Uri Geller, of course! The Sultan of Spoon Bending has moved on from claiming to influence sports games and election results to warning that aliens are finally going to make themselves visible to us after studying humans from hidden locations.
“But I think they are preparing us for contact for the Steven Spielberg scenario of landing and it’s going to be spectacular. They will probably land on the White House lawn or somewhere. All our science fiction films about alien encounter will come true.”
Would Spielberg have an alien ship land on the White House lawn? Based on how his latest film is doing, he wouldn’t have them do a dance number as they exited the ship. In an interview with The Sun Online, Geller has expanded his earlier statements that ETs have been watching us for 50 years and now says they’ve been patiently observing for thousands. One would think Geller should have more accurate numbers since he has often claimed he received his psychic powers from aliens … although under hypnosis he once claimed he IS an ET sent here from another solar system. Whatever the case, he’s never been known to do anything as spectacular as bending spoons, so perhaps that’s what we should be prepared for the ETs to do on the White House lawn.
“There is no doubt in my mind that they are gentle and I’ll tell you why – if they weren’t we would have been destroyed a long time ago. Their ability to move in such erratic ways has never been seen before. It’s simply unbelievable. I think the Pentagon know much more but they’re not telling us.”
Geller conveniently piggybacks onto the Tic Tac UFO accounts with his comment about “their ability to move his such erratic ways.” However, to accuse the Pentagon of knowing more than they’re telling us conveniently sidesteps that fact that psychic Geller should also know more than he’s telling us … probably more than the Pentagon knows if he’s really an ET and/or a psychic. Is it any wonder why the late James Randi was so skeptical of Geller?
Will the aliens tell us how to bend spoons?
At this point, it doesn’t take a psychic to figure out what comes next. No, not an exact date of the spectacular arrival of the ETs – the best Geller can do is say “60 to 75 years it’s going to happen.” What Geller reveals next to The Sun Online is what he’s plugging – a new book on how anyone can use their own psychic powers to obtain “health, wealth, success and peace of mind.”
Sorry, Uri, we’d rather know when the aliens are coming and what kind of spoons they’ll be bending.
This is a great example of a classic disk UFO seen before it makes itself invisible. Ever seen a disk cloud, then instantly it disappears in front of your eyes, yeah thats what happens every time an alien telepathically senses its noticed. The UFO is dark red with a dome on its upper middle. The eyewitness (a young woman) even stated that she thought she saw a figure moving inside the craft for a few seconds. However most aliens have powerful telepathic senses amplified by their advanced technology, therefore its safe to assume that the alien was watching, recording the human activity below until it was noticed and it immediately cloaked, making it appear to evaporate in thin air, but in reality, its still sitting there watching the eyewitness.

When I was taking the picture of Cerro Paulino I realized that was there, I shot the photo and looked up, it was something black and there was something red inside, but in a millisecond it was hidden among the clouds, "she said.

Here is an amazing discovery of a oblong UFO found in a Mars map photo from NASA archives. The UFO has a shape unlike any I have ever seen before, but conforms to the balanced symmetry that one would expect it to have. The UFO is tilted 45 degrees due to it landing on a flat surface and the UFO itself having a rounded underbelly. Such objects are littered across Mars and even on the moon, which if salvaged by humans, could give humanity the technology it needs to survive indefinitely in the depths of space across the universe.

Guys, across the Internet we are hearing about how upwards of 30 tornadoes that hit the United States late at night, killing about a hundred people or more. And just a few days ago the world heard about how China has been using weather control to make it rain and clean the air more in China in an area the size of Alaska. But there are a few things you probably don't know.
China has the worlds largest radio telescope, five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope, or FAST – which was declared fully operational as recently as January 2020. It's in China's Guizhou province. This is just the kind of instrument needed to create tornados.
Back in 1993 the US Air Force created the HAARP program, research into how to use electronic waves to manipulate the weather around them world, by bouncing a signal up into the sky and bouncing it off the ionosphere onto a location somewhere on Earth. The program started in Gabona, Alaska and lasted until 2014, when it was announced that the HARRP program would shut down. However it may have continued in covert in order to escape the protests of the public.
Somewhere along the line, China stole the details, research and tech knowhow to do their own HAARP program but not for research as much as research to be a weapon. China makes it a priority to steal any technology the US has...from the NASA space shuttle (they took it) to the newest Awacs (Fairborn warning control systems) military planes.
Also the fact that tornados don't come 30 at a time! Let alone at night and...in December with temperatures below freezing. Tornados usually come in spring and summer months. Scientists say May and June the peek tornado months. All weather scientists know...cold weather limits tornados. And to compound it all...the tornado hit at night, when everyone was inside, unable to see any tornadoes coming, thus unable to escape them. This HAARP China program is a weapon to punish its adversaries, to hurt them, to kill them, and to hurt the economy financially from the destruction.
Even President Biden said, "This is likely to be one of the largest tornado outbreaks in our history."
So...I post here the facts, my thoughts, and let you make your own decisions. China has the means and the motivation. But all the facts point to weather manipulation, a new kind of war.
For decades, many authors and researchers have been inspired by the idea that the human race was created by Ancient Aliens. And while mainstream science believes this is just ridiculous, countless pieces of evidence have been found across the globe that back up the ancient alien theory. Perhaps the most important connection between the rise of civilization and alien beings can be found in history, written in ancient manuscripts and clay tablets that have survived for thousands of years.
For example, the Ancient Sumerian King List, which describes kings, who ruled over Earth for a total of 241,200 years since the original kingship, had “descended from heaven.” The clay tablet of this unique text is 4,000-year-old and was found by German-American scholar Hermann Hilprecht at the beginning of the 20th century. Hilprecht found at least 18 such cuneiform tablets (c. 2017-1794 BCE). They were not identical but shared the information that is believed to have been taken from a single source of Sumerian history. There are more than a dozen of copies of the Sumerian King List found in Babylon, Susa, and Assyria, and the Royal Library of Nineveh from the 7th century BC.

Unfortunately, mainstream scholars refused to believe that everything written down on the Sumerian King list is real, saying that the list is a mixture of prehistorical and mythological accounts which speaks of Gods that ruled over the land enjoying implausibly lengthy reigns.
If we look at other ancient cultures such as Mesoamerican, we will find how the sacred book of the ancient Maya, the Popol Vuh describes the beings that created the mankind.
According to Living Maya Time, “The Popol Vuh, meaning ‘Book of the Community,’ narrates the Maya creation account, the tales of the Hero Twins, and the K’iche’ genealogies and land rights. In this story, the Creators, Heart of Sky, and six other deities including the Feathered Serpent wanted to create human beings with hearts and minds who could “keep the days.” But their first attempts failed. When these deities finally created humans out of yellow and white corn who could talk, they were satisfied. In another epic cycle of the story, the Death Lords of the Underworld summon the Hero Twins to play a momentous ball game where the Twins defeat their opponents. The Twins rose into the heavens, and became the Sun and the Moon. Through their actions, the Hero Twins prepared the way for the planting of corn, for human beings to live on Earth, and for the Fourth Creation of the Maya.”

And while these above-mentioned ancient texts are extraordinary, perhaps, even more are the countless artifacts that have been found scattered across the globe depicting beings eerily similar to modern-day astronauts.
And while speaking of astronauts, Al Worden, a former astronaut and member of the Apollo 15 mission had something fascinating to say about alien life, while speaking in an interview with Good Morning Britain.
Al Worden was an American astronaut and engineer who was the Command Module Pilot for the Apollo 15 lunar mission in 1971. He is one of only 24 people to have flown to the Moon. The former astronaut was also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the “Most isolated human being” during his time alone in the Command Module Endeavour. He believed that humans are the descendants of ancient aliens.
In 2017, on a British TV show “Good Morning Britain,” he gave a shocking response when a host asked why to spend a lot of money on space missions when there are lots of problems on Earth. He was asked if he believed aliens were real. The answer probably surprised everyone watching the interview.
The former Apollo 15 member said that not only were aliens real, but they had come to Earth in the distant and created our civilization, and if we wanted to look for evidence, all we had to do was to look at ancient Sumerian literature.“We are the aliens, but we just think they are somebody else. But we are the ones who came from somewhere else, because somebody else had to survive, and they got into little spacecraft then they came here and landed, and they started civilization here. And if you don’t believe me, go get books on Ancient Sumerians and see what they had to say. They’ll tell you right up front,” Worden added. He died on March 18, 2020.
According to his words, he was the firm believer of the ancient Sumerian scriptures. They reveal that humans and gods used to live together, while humans were servants to gods and each Sumerian city was guarded by its own god. According to the cuneiform tablets, Earth was ruled by human-like gods at the beginning. When they arrived on Earth, they made it habitable by toiling the soil and mining the minerals. Besides, the text mentioned the revolt between the gods and their laborers.

It is said before humans, the Anunnaki (a group of deities of the ancient Sumerians, Akkadians, Assyrians, and Babylonians) used the Igigi (sometimes also spelled “Igigu”), the young generation of Ancient Astronaut Gods as their servants to mine gold on Earth, but later, they were replaced by humans when they rebelled against the Annunaki. For the ancient Mesopotamians, heaven is divided into three domes. The lowest dome of heaven was the home of the stars, and the middle dome was the home of the Igigi, the younger gods. The highest and outermost dome of heaven was personified as An, the god of the sky.
Supporting Al Worden’s statement, Dr. Ellis Silver, an author of the book “Humans are not from Earth: a scientific evaluation of the evidence,” has a strong belief that life on earth was sparked by aliens thousands of years ago.
According to him, humans should have become the strongest race in the universe, but the mortal body failed to thrive in the Earth’s environment, it can easily be harmed by sunlight, natural disasters, and diseases. He said: “Mankind is supposedly the most highly developed species on the planet, yet is surprisingly unsuited and ill-equipped for Earth’s environment: harmed by sunlight, a strong dislike for naturally occurring foods, ridiculously high rates of chronic disease, and more.”
Dr. Ellis concluded that mankind did not come from that particular strain of life, but evolved elsewhere and was transported to Earth (as fully evolved Homo sapiens) between 60,000 and 200,000 years ago.

UPDATED 12/11, 9:18 p.m. ET:Footage of a more recent alleged sighting has now started gaining traction, including via a TMZ story on Saturday. The footage in question captures a separate reported sighting of unidentified aerial phenomena, this time in the Chino Hills region of California.
According to the report, the footage was shot on Dec. 9 and shows multiple unexplained light shapes moving in an erratic fashion. Per the woman responsible for the footage, the lights were first spotted by her grandson, who was taking out the trash at the time.

A new video circulating on social media has fueled the extraterrestrial debate.
The footage was reportedly captured by a pilot who was flying over the South China Sea at an altitude of 39,000 feet. The video shows three sets of mysterious light formations moving through the clouds near Hong Kong before quickly disappearing.
“I don’t know what that is. That is some weird shit,” a person is heard saying in the video, before the lights seemingly vanish one by one. “Gone.”
Though the lights don’t appear to be from any known aircraft, some social media users suspected they were either reflections from the cockpit glass or military flares. Chris Spitzer, who describes himself as an experienced atmospheric phenomena investigator, proposed the latter theory.
According to the Independent, the 53-second video was uploaded to a UFO tracking website earlier this month, but was reportedly filmed on Nov. 24—the same day the U.S. Defense Department announced the establishment of a UFO task force.
“The (Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group) will synchronize efforts across the Department and the broader U.S. government to detect, identify and attribute objects of interests in Special Use Airspace (SUA), and to assess and mitigate any associated threats to safety of flight and national security,” the DOD wrote in a press release.
“To provide oversight of the AOIMSG, the Deputy Secretary also directed the USD(I&S) to lead an Airborne Object Identification and Management Executive Council (AOIMEXEC) to be comprised of DoD and Intelligence Community membership, and to offer a venue for U.S. government interagency representation.”
Fans of Pluto returning to its old planetary position rejoice – a recent study by planetary scientists found that the controversial 2006 decision the International Astronomical Union to demote Pluto to dwarf planet status was based on a flawed characteristic which had never been used before to define planets. While removing this characteristic would return Pluto to its ninth planet spot, the scientists also want to add a new characteristic which would open the planetary club to a number of the solar system’s moons. Are we ready for that?
“This might seem like a small change, but it undermined the central idea about planets that had been passed down from Galileo. Planets were no longer defined by virtue of being complex, with active geology and the potential for life and civilization. Instead, they were defined by virtue of being simple, following certain idealized paths around the Sun.”
Dr. Philip Metzger, a planetary scientist at the University of Central Florida’s Florida Space Institute, is the lead author of a new study published in the journal Icarus which presents the idea, outlined in a UCF press release, that new data from modern telescopes and space travel has reignited an interest in planets and moons which has prompted some rethinking back to old thinking about the definition of a planet – old thinking going all the way back to the father of observational astronomy and proponent of heliocentrism … Galileo Galilei. According to Metzger, Galileo defined planets as space objects which were currently or had in the past been geologically active.

That held true until the 1900s, when Metzger claims almanacs like The Old Farmer’s Almanac drew the public to observe – and give credence to – the positions of the planets over their composition. This led to an inclination that size was important in the definition of planets because only large planets with strong gravity could make their own unique traceable path through the sky.
“So, some scientists tried to develop a method to mathematically justify a small number of planets, which was the criterion that a planet has to clear its own orbit. And this was really developed post facto to keep an orderly, small number of planets.”
Metzger objects to a planet’s current trajectory being the defining factor of its nature because a star passing near our solar system could disrupt the path of Jupiter and have it cross orbits with Saturn – would that mean the gas giant is no longer a planet?
“It’s like defining ‘mammals’. They are mammals whether they live on the land or in the sea. It’s not about their location. It’s about the intrinsic characteristics that make them what they are.”
That’s where study co-author Charlene E. Detelich, a geologist and researcher with the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, joins in and pitches the idea that large geologically-active moons like Jupiter’s Europa should be called planets too.
“For the term planet, myself and most planetary scientists consider round icy moons to be planets. They all have active geologic processes that are driven by a variety of internal processes, as does any world with enough mass to reach hydrostatic equilibrium. As a geologist, it is immensely more useful to divide planets by their intrinsic characteristics than by their orbital dynamics.”
By that definition, Pluto would rejoin the current eight and adding the active moons would push the total to around 200. Detelich says she sympathizes with schoolchildren who would now have to memorize the names of so many planets (not to mention devote a LOT more time to solar system science projects) but she argues that simplicity should not be the sole driving force in planetary definition.

“We present evidence that taxonomical alignment with geological complexity is the most useful scientific taxonomy for planets. It is this complexity of both primary and secondary planets that is a key part of the chain of origins for life in the cosmos.”
The late Leonard Stringfield, who passed away in 1994, was a UFO researcher who firmly believed that, since the 1940s, the U.S. Government had secretly recovered a number of crashed UFOs and dead aliens, and which were stored and preserved a variety of military bases across the country – many at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Stringfield, too, however, was given a number of accounts relative to the issue of secret and shocking human experimentation on handicapped people; experimentation that was tied in with the Roswell affair. One of those stories came to Stringfield from a highly controversial figure in Ufology. His name: Timothy Cooper, a resident of Big Bear Lake, California and someone who exited the field of UFO research years ago. Far more than a few people in Ufology have very little time for Cooper, suspecting that many of the documents he supplied to the UFO community in the mid-1990s were bogus, rather than the highly classified papers that they were purported to be. They were bogus; there is no doubt about that. But, Cooper himself was not the forger. It’s the “pre-documents” era we have to take a look at, however. It paints a very different picture of Cooper to that which many ufologists have accepted.

Tim Cooper claimed to Stringfield in 1990 that he had numerous sources of the old-timer kind – some of who assured Cooper that, yes, aliens really did crash outside of Roswell in the summer of 1947. Others, however, quietly hinted to Cooper that the truth was far more controversial: a scenario involving human guinea-pigs – Japanese and handicapped individuals – and the creation of UFO-themed disinformation programs and faked, pro-UFO documents to hide the down-to-earth truth of the Roswell enigma. Also in 1990, Cooper supplied Stringfield one specific story which Stringfield decided to firmly keep under wraps until the following year, 1991, when he published it in a lengthy report on tales of crashed and secretly retrieved alien spacecraft. The story concerned a woman who Cooper first crossed paths with in 1989. He described her only as a nurse, and gave her the pseudonym of “Mary.” That alias was not too far off from the real name of another nurse linked to the story. Decades ago, Cooper’s informant allegedly worked at what is, today, the New Mexico-based Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Not an alien in sight. Only a terrible, secret experiment
In Cooper’s own words of 1990, and which Stringfield published: “She casually mentioned to me over coffee that ‘bodies’ were being flown to Los Alamos periodically from late 1945 to sometime in 1947. I asked her if she had seen these ‘bodies’ and she said no, but others had. I asked her where these ‘bodies’ were coming from. She said she did not know but it was rumored that they were human experiments for biological and nuclear medicine research. She thought they may have come from Japan after the war [italics mine]. I asked her why she thought that. She said that they were small bodies with deformed heads and limbs. The eyes were abnormally big, she was told. She did have some view of them in the morgue very briefly for a few minutes at some distance. I asked her why she was allowed to be present at the autopsies. She told me that she was asked to assist in the preparation and cleanup. I asked her again about the bodies. She said they were being flown in on special transport planes equipped with refrigerator units to keep the bodies from decomposing. The flesh was badly burned and charred. There was no hair on the heads and had a grayish-yellow color. That’s all she knew.”
What all of this demonstrates is that the Roswell story gets more and more sinister when we begin to look at the “human angle” of what happened at Roswell in July 1947, and when we dismiss the “extraterrestrial angle.”
There are many people around the world who have seen a UFO, alien or weird phenomenon. You may not be one of them, but would you trust fellow human beings who have seen and reported them?
Considered a pseudoscience in the mainstream scientific world, ufology, or the study of UFOs, is largely dismissed. Because we have learned to associate reality with what the majority accepts, anything that falls outside of this is considered taboo, which can, in many ways, be a good thing, as it keeps morality in check.
However, we need to understand that UFOs do not fall in the moral compass. It is a phenomenon that has often been buried time and again by many skeptics and governments in spite of many reports being provided by authoritative individuals.
Every year, Phoenix, Arizona, hosts the International UFO Congress, the biggest annual gathering for ufology. The conference has a special enthusiasm among the ufologists who are trying to prove skeptics wrong while also simply exposing the truth through stories, evidence, and more.
Although the ufologists eagerly explain that the UFOs are not just a perception, but a reality, the massive gap between the belief and knowledge keeps the scientific and pseudoscientific apart from each other. The ufologists have been trying to pump in maximum energy to prove their point, and the US government claims to look into the phenomenon in a serious formal way for almost six decades now. There is a constant looming fear that ufology will always be left for the pseudoscientists to ponder.
Feeling of happiness
According to Bob Davis, a retired neuroscientist, people’s fear of being ridiculed by others is the main reason why ufology is not taken seriously. Davis is a member of the Dr Mitchell Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial Encounters. The team had studied 3,057 individuals who have fought against the fear of ridicule and instead spoken up about their encounters with a physical craft associated with some form of non-human intelligence. Their research, according to Davis, has led to some very intriguing insight, one of which is that such UFO encounters make the witnesses… happy.
Study suggests that such UFO encounters make the witness happy.
One might assume fear or curiosity would be the two biggest words associated with such encounters, but Davis notes:
What we’ve found is that about 85 percent of the people who are experiencing this phenomenon are being transformed in a very positive behavioral or psychospiritual way. Generally, people become more humane, experience a oneness with the world. They become less interested in organized religion, they become more spiritual, they have less interest in monetary values, and become more sensitive to the ecological welfare of our planet, among many other psychospiritual outcomes. It is a real and powerful outcome that is generally ignored by the UFO community.
Are people ever hurt by UFOs?
People occasionally report feeling pain or receiving an injury during a UFO encounter or abduction. Physical effects include eye irritation, sunburn, skin cuts, and sickness. After the experience, witnesses may have nightmares and feel anxious, and they may undergo personality changes or changes in their beliefs about important life issues. Witnesses, especially abductees, claim later UFO encounters and other experiences with the paranormal, such as poltergeist activity or the development of psychic powers.

One of the most famous UFO sightings resulting in injuries to witnesses involved two women, Betty Cash and Vicki Landrum, and Mrs. Landrum’s grandson, Colby, as they drove along a deserted Texas road during December 1980. In front of them, they saw a huge, brilliant, diamond-shaped object with flames shooting out from the bottom. Cash stopped the car and got out to have a better look at the UFO. The object radiated intense heat that softened the dashboard of her car. Terrified, Cash returned to the car and with the others, watched the UFO move away. As it did so, a squadron of helicopters appeared and surrounded the UFO. The witnesses followed the object and the helicopters until they disappeared in the distance. By the time the three reached home, all were feeling ill. Within a few hours, they developed sunburnlike blisters, nausea, and diarrhea. Betty Cash’s symptoms were the most severe, and she eventually sought medical treatment and was hospitalized as a burn victim. Her doctor concluded Cash was exhibiting symptoms of radiation sickness. The witnesses later sued the United States government, claiming it was responsible for their injuries. (They had identified the helicopters as Chinook twin-rotor helicopters used by the U.S. Army.) Their lawsuit was unsuccessful because they could never prove the UFO or the helicopters were devices owned and operated by the American government.
Feeling of a sexual desire
A survey conducted by a Panamanian paper revealed that 37 percent of the Panamanians felt sexual desire after spotting a UFO. Diana Santanach, Director of Cid Gallup, reveals, “A desire for sex was the strongest feeling – according to the survey – among those who claim having seen a UFO, far above a sense of terror (17%). There is no specific explanation offered by the survey as to this reason.”

Nigel Watson, the author of the UFO Investigations Manual, says, ‘’Perhaps the anxiety and wonder of seeing something exceptional in the sky arouses the witness and accounts for these survey results. Some might claim that Randy aliens are deliberately sending out beams that will stimulate witnesses so that they can have their wicked way with them. The concept of breeding with aliens is nothing new. By the 1980s alien abduction researchers in the USA accepted that women are routinely abducted, impregnated and then re-abducted a few weeks later for the extraction of the hybrid foetus. These activities explained the short-lived pregnancies experienced by female abductees. As for male abductees, they either claimed to have had intercourse with an alien woman or their sperm was extracted by mechanical means by the aliens.”
Whitley Strieber, in his book Communion, described of being abducted by the aliens who inserted a 1ft (0.3m)-long anal probe inside him. According to him, it seemed like a living entity, however on removal, he was surprised to see that it was a mechanical device. The case put forth by Antonio Villas Boas is also worth mentioning. According to him, he was dragged inside a flying saucer in 1957 where he was forced to have sexual intercourse with a beautiful alien lady. When he left, she pointed at her stomach and then at the sky implying that she would have the child in outer space.
For some ufologists, these reports may seem like the aliens are conducting some hybrid breeding program to create another race of beings. The purpose of the creation is unknown and can only be imagined! However, skeptics are of the opinion that these experiences are a product of sleep paralysis, wherein people are unable to discriminate between the reality and the fantasy during the sleeping and waking period.

Davis adds, “People are reporting that they become aware, based on their interaction with the phenomenon, that there is indeed a multi-dimensional reality, that there is life after death.” The research team believes that positive transformations help in experiencing a spiritual awakening. Davis says, “Call it psychospirtual, call it religious, call it whatever, but the vast majority of these people are transformed in a very positive way.” While the research revealed that people felt happy, many experts strongly assert that people feel a strong sexual desire on seeing a UFO.
While the U.S. government is attempting to pass legislation to develop a UFO/UAP department in the Pentagon, with one of its responsibilities being to reverse-engineer crashed or captured unidentified aerial phenomena, a professor at California’s Stanford University claims he’s already been studying UAP materials for year. Not only that, he’s done extensive research on the brains of people who have had UFO encounters and has some interesting insights … and he’s the researcher whoproved the famous 6-inch Atacama skeleton was not an alien but a premature human.
“It was on the front page of just about every major newspaper. What’s more appealing or clickbait than ‘Stanford professor sequences alien baby’?”
Well, we hope Dr. Gary Nolan’s current research is not ‘clickbait’ but actual analysis of UFO materials and humans (including military pilots) claiming to have UFO encounters … some of whom suffered serious health issues as a result and a few who died. In a wide-ranging interview with Vice’s Motherboard, Dr. Nolan starts by revealing that after his review of the Atacama ‘alien’, he was contacted by the CIA to analyze about 100 patients, mostly “defense or governmental personnel or people working in the aerospace industry,” who had UFO encounters.
“A reasonable subset of them had claimed to have seen UAPs and some claimed to be close to things that got them sick. Let me show you the MRIs of the brains of some of these people.”
The MRIs (some can be seen here) revealed damage in the middle of the basal ganglia – an area responsible for motor control and other core brain functions … including intuition. Nolan said the damage should have killed these people, yet they were alive. He obtained MRIs of some prior to their encounters and they had the damage, so they were most likely born with it.
“These are all so called high-functioning people. They’re pilots who are making split second decisions, intelligence officers in the field, etc.”
Nolan compared these injuries to those who suffered from Havana syndrome, but in this case a quarter of them died after their UFO exposure. One of the patients had their encounter on the Skinwalker Ranch and their brain damage was so extensive, Nolan attributed it not to a UAP but a weapon or a massive electric transformer. Nolan resisted offering private thoughts or conclusions on what these patients were suffering from. However, he was more open when the questions turned to UAP materials.
“One of the materials from the so called Ubatuba event [a UAP event in Brazil], has extraordinarily altered isotope ratios of magnesium. It was interesting because another piece from the same event was analyzed in the same instrument at the same time. This is an extraordinarily sensitive instrument called a nanoSIMS – Secondary Ion Mass Spec. It had perfectly correct isotope ratios for what you would expect for magnesium found anywhere on Earth. Meanwhile, the other one was just way off. Like 30 percent off the ratios. The problem is there’s no good reason humans have for altering the isotope ratios of a simple metal like magnesium.”
The Ubatuba event occurred in 1957 – a 30-pound object fell from the sky and was thought to be magnesium. If it came from a spaceship, Nolan wonders why it was dropped. Was it having problems? Did it need to shed weight? Was it a fuel that was spent? Nolan says he’s analyzed 10 or 12 similar objects from UFO encounters and found that “two seem to be not playing by our rules.” What that means is “they have altered isotope ratios” that can’t be explained by conventional means.
Could humans be altering the isotopes in these strange objects for unknown purposes? Nolon speculates that is possible, but proving it requires getting down to the atomic level – possibly with a super quantum interference device (SQUID) – but neither his budget nor the budgets of the groups analyzing UFO/UAP encounters have that kind of funding … yet.
Let’s hope we hear more from Dr. Gary Nolan – a real scientist studying UFOs and people claiming to have UFO encounters.
