Government and military secrets can range from terrifying to amusing to downright absurd, but most are nothing short of intriguing. From a secret U.S. Air Force project to build a supersonic flying saucer to a now-famous World War II-era research program that produced the first atomic bombs, here are seven declassified military or CIA secrets.

1. Project 1794
In late 2012, the U.S. Air Force declassified a trove of documents, including records of a secret program to build a flying saucer-type aircraft designed to shoot down Soviet bombers. The ambitious program, called Project 1794, was initiated in the 1950s, and a team of engineers was tasked with building a disc-shape vehicle capable of traveling at supersonic speeds at high altitudes.
The declassified documents reveal plans for the plane to reach a top speed of Mach 4 (four times the speed of sound), and reach an altitude of 100,000 feet (30,480 meters). The project's estimated cost was more than $3 million, which in today's dollars would be more than $26 million.
Project 1794 was canceled in December 1961 after tests suggested the flying saucer design was aerodynamically unstable and would likely be uncontrollable at high speeds (let alone supersonic speeds).
In the 1960s, the U.S. Army embarked on a secret mission to build a series of mobile nuclear missile launch sites under the Greenland ice sheet. The objective was to house medium-range missiles close enough to strike targets within the Soviet Union.
The program was codenamed Project Iceworm, but to test its feasibility, the Army launched a cover research project called "Camp Century" in 1960. Under this guise, engineers built a network of underground buildings and tunnels, including living quarters, a kitchen, a recreation hall, infirmary, laboratories, supply rooms, a communications center and a nuclear power plant.
The base, which was kept secret from the Danish government, operated for seven years. The program was canceled in 1966 after shifting ice created unstable conditions. Today, the crushed remains of Project Iceworm are buried beneath Arctic snow.
During the Cold War, the CIA initiated Project MK-ULTRA, a secret and illegal human research program to investigate potential mind-control systems. The program's operators examined the effects of hypnosis, biological agents and drugs, such as LSD and barbiturates, on human subjects. Some historians suggest the program was designed to develop a mind-control system that could be used to "program" the brains of potential assassins. [The 10 Craziest Military Experiments]
In 1973, then-CIA director Richard Helms ordered that all documents from Project MK-ULTRA be destroyed, but a formal investigation into the program was launched several years later. The project became the basis for several movies, such as "The Manchurian Candidate" and "The Men Who Stare at Goats."

4. Area 51
Almost no other site has garnered as much attention from conspiracy theorists and UFO-enthusiasts as Area 51, a remote desert tract near Groom Lake in Nevada, roughly 83 miles (134 kilometers) northwest of Las Vegas. The intense secrecy surrounding the base sparked peoples' imaginations, and Area 51 was commonly linked to paranormal activities, including pervasive theories that suggested Area 51 hid aliens and UFOs.
In July 2013, declassified documents from the CIA acknowledged the existence of Area 51 for the first time, and confirmed that the top-secret site was used to test a variety of spy planes, including the well-known U-2 reconnaissance aircraft.
While Area 51, which operates as a detachment of Edwards Air Force Base in neighboring California, has never been declared a covert base, the research and activities conducted there were some of the nation's most closely guarded secrets.
While Area 51 was not a top-secret base designed to study extraterrestrials, the U.S. Air Force did study the existence of UFOs. Project Grudge was a short-lived program launched in 1949 to study unidentified flying objects. The mission followed an earlier program, known as Project Sign, which published a report in early 1949 stating that while some UFOs seemed to be actual aircraft, there was not enough data to determine their origins. Critics of Project Grudge said the program solely set out to debunk UFO reports, and very little actual research was conducted. In his book on the topic, Edward J. Ruppelt, Air Force Captain and director of Project Grudge, wrote: "[I]t doesn't take a great deal of study of the old UFO files to see that standard intelligence procedures were not being followed by Project Grudge. Everything was being evaluated on the premise that UFOs couldn't exist. No matter what you see or hear, don't believe it."

6. Operation Paperclip
In September 1946, President Harry Truman authorized a program called Operation Paperclip, which aimed to lure scientists from Nazi Germany to the United States following World War II. Officials at the Office of Strategic Services (the predecessor to the CIA) recruited German scientists to America to aid the country's postwar efforts, which would also ensure that valuable scientific knowledge would not end up in the hands of the Soviet Union or the divided East and West Germany.
One of the most well-known secret research programs is the Manhattan Project, which eventually produced the world's first atomic bombs. The project began in 1939, and was cloaked in secrecy as physicists investigated the potential power of atomic weapons. From 1942 to 1946, Major General Leslie Groves of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers led the Manhattan Project.
The first nuclear bomb was detonated at 5:30 a.m. on July 16, 1945, during the so-called Trinity test at the Alamogordo Air Base, 120 miles (193 km) south of Albuquerque, N.M. The explosion created a mushroom cloud that stretched 40,000 feet (12,200 m), and the bomb's explosive power was equivalent to more than 15,000 tons of TNT.
A month after the Trinity test, two atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan in the waning stages of World War II. To date, the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki remain the only uses of nuclear weapons in war.

'Arrival': A Close Encounter with Aliens Delves into Life and Loss

"Arrival" (2016) is a science-fiction movie that is at once devastating and uplifting, and conveys both the terror and the unblinking fascination that would likely overwhelm the first humans to make contact with an alien race.
First-contact scenarios are a well-trod starting point for science-fiction stories, but one that can still lead down new alleyways. In "Arrival," a dozen large, smooth, stone-like ships appear in the sky at 12 random locations around the world, and it's not immediately clear where they're from or why they're here. Language expert Louise Banks (Amy Adams) is called in to try to communicate with the aliens on one of the ships.
The movie's tone, pacing and cinematography are frequently subdued, and at times even somber. But by the end, "Arrival" has also traversed pure excitement and joy. The emotional journey of the movie's central character drives the film just as much as the plot, both of which are fascinating to see unfold. While some space-movie lovers may wish for more spaceships or alien technology, "Arrival" is a true science-fiction tale, and one that is told with great care by an extremely capable filmmaker (Denis Villeneuve). During the movie's first act, space fans get to see some cool spaceships (and a few cool ship tricks), although for the most part these stone eggs are defined by their minimalism. The audience also learn's Banks' back story, which I won't say much about, but suffice it to say, it's tragic.
"Arrival" also shows us the aliens fairly early on. That's a move some science-fiction movies put off as long as they can. Choosing what an alien race will look like in a movie is always tough for filmmakers. Sometimes the goal is just to have fun with the biological possibilities, other times it's to make the aliens seem "real."
But in more literary works, aliens reflect some aspect of the story. That's the case in "Arrival": the aliens are separated from the humans by a glass barrier, in a room filled with opaque white smoke. This physical separation remains in place during the film's second act, as Banks tries to navigate through the fog of interspecies communication. It's possible these beings have a language so wildly different from those found on Earth that she will never be able to understand it.
As the story progresses, viewers get to see Banks and a team of scientists go through the process of learning an alien language. This exercise is presented as extremely scientific (one skeptical physicist reluctantly notes that Banks approaches language like a mathematician). I give this movie a relatively high grade for the realistic depiction of scientists and how they work. Watching the scientists learn to talk to this new species is really fun; I even loved hearing the linguistic terms for the characteristics that define the aliens' method of communication. This section is also engrossing because the audience desperately wants the team to be able to ask the million-dollar question: What is your purpose on Earth?
Until the aliens can answer that question through language, the humans have little to no idea what the visitors' intentions are. The aliens' physical presence can be interpreted as menacing or as beautiful, and sometimes it shifts fluidly between those two. While Banks works, military personnel linger in the background, unsure if the visitors are hostile or peaceful. In the face of that uncertainty, Banks is both fearful and fragile, but also curious enough to find the strength and resolve to continue. (Adams does a great job juggling and conveying those emotions.)
The movie's last act follows in the footsteps of many great science-fiction stories by using an extraordinary scenario to pose a theoretical question. In this case, it's about life and loss. So much of the fun of this movie is trying to figure out what's going on, and then watching the pieces fall into place, so I'd rather not say anything about this section of the movie. I will note that hard-core science-fiction fans should be warned that the movie concludes on a note that is more philosophical than technical or scientific.
"Arrival" is based on a short story called "The Story of Your Life" by Ted Chiang. I haven't read it, but from what I hear, the movie does a good job at preserving much of the plot and the themes of the story.
How can an experience be both subdued and invigorating, both terrifying and utterly fascinating? How can a person be simultaneously fragile and strong? Maybe it takes a new way of communicating in order to see that these diverse states exist together on the same loop. Things that might seem like they belong at opposite ends of a spectrum become points on a circle; we pass through one on our way toward the other, until we start the journey over again.

President Jimmy Carter Saw a UFO
“It was the darndest thing I’ve ever seen. It was big, it was very bright, it changed colors, and it was about the size of the moon. A red and green glowing orb radiated as it hurtled across the southwestern Georgia skies. We watched it for ten minutes, but none of us could figure out what it was. One thing’s for sure: I’ll never make fun of people who say they’ve seen unidentified flying objects in the sky.” It was just another fun night, on January 22, 1969,when suddenly from the sky a UFO at the Leary Lion’s Club for Jimmy Carter when he and friends spotted a UFO.

George Wolkind writes concerning the statements of General Benjamin Chidlaw, former commanding general of Air (later Aerospace) Defense Command told Robert C. Gardener (ex USAF) in 1953: “We have stack of reports of flying saucers. We take them seriously, when you consider we have lost many men and planes trying to intercept them.” George Wolkind writes, “The last time we checked the US lost 214 pilots and Soviets had 38 to possibly 48 dead pilots.” We lost nearly 200 Navy personnel in 1992, and destroyer ordered into the beam of a UFO establishing contact with cetaceans, only four survivors. Other countries such as Cuba and China have also lost aircraft and men.

Wikileaks is Releasing UFO Information
The Wikileaks correspondence confirms military and aerospace authorities are involved in communications between John Podesta and
“Sekret Machines” author Tom Delonge about efforts to open up the US government files on UFOs and ETs, which have been suppressed since World War II.
Tom DeLonge is a musician and co-founder of Blink-182 band. He is also a “UFO researcher.” These days, he’s focused on Sekret Machines, his new UFO-centered “multimedia franchise,” which just put out a book where military and intelligence sources tell classified stories about paranormal contact.
DeLonge has always viewed his work on UFOs has extremely important. He feels the mysteries of life in space involve “religion and cosmology, and it has to do with politics and secrecy. As the Wikileaks e-mail dump earlier this month clarified. DeLonge interfaced with John Podesta, chairman of the Clinton campaign. The e-mails indicate that DeLonge interviewed Podesta last year about a potential documentary, and that he wanted to organize another meeting with “A-Level officials” from the government’s “most fragile divisions, as it relates to Classified Science and DOD topics.”
In a recent Instagram post, he writes that “Wikileaks really messed some important stuff up,” implying that he was upset that his private emails about “Classified Science and DOD topics” were released to the public. Also, however, he seems excited about the higher profile his research has gotten because of the release of the e-mails, stating “Project is still on… things just got bigger.”
John Podesta emails show he also wants disclosure. There are hints Obama and Hillary would release disclosure if she was elected. There is also another group, composed of NASA, CIA, possibly White House people who view the ET presence in a positive light, and seem to have a plan related to disclosure.
Grant Cameron, who produces the www.presidentialufo.com/ website is analyzing the ongoing hacked WikiLeaks email dump and expects more revelations based on insider information this week. Allegedly, “John Podesta still has a green light to open up UFO and ET files beginning in January 2017 after the Presidential Inauguration.”
The Wikileaks correspondence confirms military and aerospace authorities are involved in communications between John Podesta and “Sekret Machines”author Tom Delonge about efforts to open up the US government files on UFOs and ETs, which have been suppressed since World War II.

New President Elect will be Briefed on UFOs and Space

The country has a new President elect, some are weeping and others are cheering. Hopefully, Trump can carry out his promises. Most of the conversations between President-elect Trump and Congress will probably involve immigration, health care, the economy, and other similarly high-profile issues. But the nation’s future in space will be perhaps the most important. There may be war in space between the technologically advanced nations or perhaps we will join together to fight an alien enemy. President Putin of Russia has indicated he wanted Trump to be President and implies the US and Russia can continue to work together in space.
In his first term, President Barack Obama canceled the space shuttle program and George W. Bush’s
Mars moon-oriented Constellation program and instructed NASA to get
astronauts to a near-Earth asteroid by 2025. Then head for Mars by the mid-2030s. To meet the first part of that directive, NASA devised the Asteroid Redirect Mission (ARM), which will pluck a boulder off a near-Earth asteroid using a robotic probe. This spacecraft will then haul the boulder to lunar orbit, where it will be visited by astronauts. But ARM has its share of detractors, and some of them occupy positions of power on Capitol Hill. For example, earlier this year, the House of Representatives’ Appropriations Committee proposed denying funding to the mission. “The Committee believes that neither a robotic nor a crewed mission to an asteroid appreciably contributes to the overarching mission to Mars,” committee members wrote in a report. “Instead, NASA is encouraged to develop plans to return to the moon to test capabilities that will be needed for Mars, including habitation modules, lunar prospecting and landing and ascent vehicles.”
And that brings up another issue, he added: Just how much international cooperation will there be on NASA’s journey to Mars. Who will the partners be? Could Russia and China be involved, even though U.S. law currently prohibits NASA from working with China to any significant degree? “That’s a very big civil-space public policy question that the next administration will most definitely be tackling,”
The George W. Bush and Obama administrations set NASA on a path that hands over many activities in low-Earth orbit (LEO) to private companies, theoretically freeing up the space agency to focus on more ambitious efforts, like getting people to Mars. For example, SpaceX and Orbital ATK currently fly robotic cargo missions to the International Space Station for NASA, and SpaceX and Boeing should start flying American astronauts to and from the orbiting lab in a year or two.
“That raises a bigger question about, Are there activities NASA has historically done that are perhaps better suited for the private sector to do?” There are other important space-policy questions that must be dealt with at some point, Weeden said. For example, which federal agency should regulate the moon and asteroid-mining industry?

Then there’s the national-security realm. Much of the United States’ military might is based on the nation’s dominance in space; for example, sharp-eyed spy satellites often give American war fighters a clearer view of the battlefield than their adversaries can get.
But other countries are increasingly contesting this dominance by developing their own advanced spacecraft and, in some cases, anti-satellite capabilities, experts have said. “There’s much more of a case that in future conflicts, there’s probably going to be a space element of the conflict,” Consultant Brian Weeden said. “How might the U.S. deter potential adversaries such as Russia and China from kinetic attacks on space [assets] in a future conflict? And then, how best to leverage commercial industries and allies in that mix of resilience and assurance?”
President-elect Trump and Congress will therefore have a lot to talk about when it comes to space. And they may have fewer arguments than we’re used to seeing, now that the presidency, House and Senate are all in Republican hands. Thanks to Space.com.

The real unemployment figures are around 20%, since anyone who does not collect unemployment insurance is not counted. UFOs Over Canada 1913
“These strange lights, in procession, reappeared on the night of February 9, 1913, over Canada when Professor Chant, of Toronto, made many observations of them. Here is a summary of his report in the Journal of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (November 1913, page 141-142 of the Wilkins hardback: A strange spectacle was seen in Canada (Saskatchewan and Ontario), the U.S.A. (New York), at sea, and in Bermuda. A luminous body was seen, with a long tail attached to it. The body grew rapidly larger. Observers differ whether this body was single, or in three or four parts, with a tail to each. The group, or complex structure, moved with a peculiar, majestic deliberation. “The Ufologist: The Haunting of John Ventre”
Book Review by Brian J. Allan
John Ventre is one of the very few Ufologists who successfully maintain an open mind on the nature of the UFO phenomenon and its possible causes. In this new book John presents a very plausible case based on personal experience that UFOs and their occupants are not necessarily from other worlds or galaxies, but could also have a distinctly occult and magical connection. He bases this on a series of all too close encounters with a number of entities that could sit comfortable in either camp. These are views shared by such noted luminaries as the late John Keel and Jacques Vallee and, as it happens, also with this reviewer.
The author also quotes other paranormal/UFO investigators such as Nick Redfern and mentions the shadowy, quasi-governmental CIA attached group called ‘The Collins Elite’, who came to a very similar conclusion, i.e. that ET’s were almost certainly demonic in nature. John elaborates on this by listing signs of demonic infestation and also lists the hierarchy of demons (and angels). Helpfully he also includes the rite of exorcism as well. The author also shares his timeline of personal haunting by a ghostly ‘something’ that may have had UFO connections and what he describes is truly alarming. This book may not appeal to the rigid mindset of the die-hard ETH Ufologist. This is a pity because in this field of study we need all the support we can get. However to anyone else with a genuinely enquiring outlook the book is truly enlightening and above all entertaining and well worth the purchase price. Brian J Allan is a Scottish paranormal expert, editor of Phenomena magazine and the author of numerous books.
Vatican and UFOs
Cristoforo Barbato an Italian independent UFO researcher and friend of Paola Harris as sent some interesting information that indicates serious Vatican interest in alien life. Barbato spoke at the Palazzo della Provincia of Pescara about the truth behind UFOs organized by the “Ufobserver” Cultural Association. During the conference he spoke about underground bases in the USA.
Barbato writes, “In the year 2000, I was working in Rome as an editor in the “Stargate” magazine and I wrote many articles about the Fatima Apparitions, their famous Third Secret and other Vatican State-related mysteries. After the publication of these articles I started to receive many e-mails from a person who qualified himself as a Vatican insider longing to know me for my researches about Fatima. From those e-mails rose up the story of a presumed Vatican Intelligence Agency named “S.I.V.” code from “Servizio Informazioni del Vaticano”. After one year of such kind of epistolary contacts (in the meantime that person had revealed to me he was a S.I.V. member from the Jesuit order working in structures of the Holy See and I could verify that these informations were true), we finally met in a public place in Rome and I could realize that he knew much more of what he had said in his letters.
Moreover, he sent to me some stuff including a video (shown during the Pescara Conference) regarding observations of something like a tenth planet approaching the Solar System. Such video had been presumably taped in 1995 from a space probe named Siloe and its images had been later sent to a secret radio-telescope hidden in a dismissed oil-refining plant in Alaska, totally managed by Jesuits.”
According to this person the reason to establish the S.I.V. was the meeting with an Alien delegation at Muroc Air Field Base in February 1954 in presence of President Dwight Eisenhower and James Francis McIntyre, bishop of Los Angeles. After the incredible event McIntyre flew to Rome to refer everything to Pope Pius XII who decided to found the S.I.V with the aim to get every possible information about Aliens and how they did interact with the American Government. From then bishop McIntyre and Detroit Archbishop Edward Mooney became the main information coordinators between USA and the Vatican State.
Incredibly, later on there should have been some direct personal meetings between S.I.V. members and a Nordic-looking race of Aliens. These Aliens presumably warned humans against another alien race met by the Americans in the California Desert. These meetings between S.I.V and Aliens took place mainly in the USA territory but also (two times) in the Vatican State, precisely in Vatican Gardens at the Papal Academy of Sciences in presence of Pope Pius XII the same.
He also called “Secretum Omega” the highest secrecy level in S.I.V, equivalent to the NATO “Cosmic Top Secret”. The Vatican has also worked closely with various countries such as Canada and South American countries where sightings are rampant.
In the 18th century, the Papacy actively supported astronomy, establishing the Observatory of the Roman College in 1774. The Vatican built an Observatory is now headquartered in Castel Gandolfo, Italy and operates a telescope at the Mount Graham International Observatory in Arizona in the United States. Tucson — I was in my front yard and am always looking at the sky on November 4, 2016, and I saw a bright silver moving object. At first I didn’t know what it was but was thinking it was a missile, as it got closer than I know. The object was moving North West from Mexico towards some strange clouds. When I seen it my first thought was a missile but then I could make out a rounder image. I lost it in the clouds. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Edwards — We were driving east, passing Edwards Air Force Base and I noticed an object traveling very fast across the highway on November 4, 2016. It had a wobble to it because the suns reflection wasn’t constant and it couldn’t be seen unless it tilted. I happened to take two pictures of it while it was reflecting the sun with my Canon digital camera. I have raw images that can be examined further, but will only submit a jpeg at this time due to the size of the raw image. It was moving too fast to get a good focus. Higganum— My 18 year old son went out on my porch early before work at 5:40 am on October 31, 2016, and took a picture for his girlfriend. After taking the picture my son realized there was some type of craft in the picture that was invisible to his naked eyes. The lights were directly over the church steeple across the street from our house. He looked up at the sky and still saw nothing then came inside to show me the picture. He was pretty surprised at what was in the picture. He felt it was alien and this needed to be shared with others. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Lakeland— About 2:45 pm, I had just existed off the ramp onto Kathleen Road from Interstate 4 when I noticed, an object while waiting for the light to change on September 10, 2014. As I began, to focus in on the object, it became evident that it wasn’t an aircraft rather, something entirely different. I then, used my camera phone to capture this beautiful object that was in the distance. It was there one second and gone the next. Fortunately, I was able to get at least one picture of this tiny object, before it disappeared entirely. It was a green object the first of many to be shared. The heavens are full of life. Johns Creek— About five weeks ago while walking our dog, we were noticing a bright flashing light in the sky on October 1, 2016. It was brighter than any star and flashing, but not moving. After three nights of seeing this in the same place, we decided to observe with our telescope. The object is round, and surrounded by bright lights. The lights seem to be in rows, lining the outer edges changing color – white, red, yellow, blue and green. The object moves slowly in a diagonal track for 30 minutes at the same time each night and disappears. We have attached a 35mm digital camera to our telescope and have been able to take pictures and video. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Romeoville — I was standing outside smoking a cigarette with my friend when I looked up on October 17, 2016, and to the west I saw a green line with two pulsing red lights on each side standing still in the sky. After 20 minutes or so it slowly moved to the west and then back to the east very slowly and silently. The object was moving from side to side three times across the sky from east to west. Wichita— I was taking a photo of an awac aircraft being refueled a couple miles down range at about 9,000 feet in November 3, 2016.
When I got home and loaded film onto my computer I noticed the two objects. They were flying too high for birds. Five minutes before this an F-18 Super Hornet took off from the airport which was very weird. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Brick — On Drump Point Road myself and two others were leaving work on October 24, 2016, the lady with me said, “OMG what’s that?” When I looked up I saw a fire ball, coming from roughly the NW area. First thought was a ufo. As I have seen many videos and documentaries about sightings. I immediately remembered seeing other videos about the same thing I’m witnessing. As it comes closer I grab my camera as is just above us. Watching on my phone while recording it looked more like a fiery plasma ball rotating and pulsating. New York Objects
Long Beach— This is a resubmission of my past posting with editing notes for clarification on November 5, 2016. I was informed by a Mufon investigator that he was unable to see the objects I described in my photos. Driving on the Meadowbrook Parkway I saw a white orb so I took a picture. I took other pictures in different locations at various times. My pictures include sightings form the Meadowbrook Parkway, Loop Parkway and Lido Blvd. My pictures however showed a lot more detail such as multiple orbs blue and white, a white triangle, and a white curved line and a purple rectangle. North Dakota Object
Fargo – I saw these objects on November 6, 2016 of six small orange points of light passing slowly overhead in triangular formation, crossing the night sky in about 60 seconds. Then few minutes later, two strings of 8 each travelling parallel flew back across sky at much higher rate of speed, passing over in the space of few seconds. Last night, I saw 16 flying objects in a close v formation at high altitude and at high rate of speed, crossing sky in four seconds, till they were out of sight. These craft did not hold tightly to their v formation as some on the outer edges of the formation spread apart. Fairborn— I was at Maplewood Park with my girl friend on the swings. I looked up and saw a shiny, pill shaped UFO flying overhead. It was completely silent and really high floating across the sky. So I pulled out my cell and started recording. My girl friend and I just watched it and may have been a satellite or a blimp. I was only a couple miles away from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. All I am saying is that I felt their presence and it’s possible. I did see the continuation of the chemtrails today (DSC00672A). A lot seemed to be flying into and around (unknowingly to them) what I am calling a cloaked mother ship (DSC05145A). Here’s what I wrote yesterday. “On Friday, I was at the Monroe Institute by the big crystal and I saw something similar to the photos you forwarded re: the Crystal Ship. I saw wispy clouds forming and within 5 minutes they dissipated. They would grow from nothing, and then grow a bit and eventually dissipated all within about 5 minutes. Before they did, 10 maybe more round white spheres would be left and then they dissipate like the clouds.” These white spheres looked very similar to the ones in the picture minus the huge alien spacecraft that suddenly appeared in the sky. This round anomaly showed up right next to the airplane.”Ihave a theory. Maybe the chemtrails are serving a purpose other than what the powers that were intended them to be. Maybe the chemtrails are a cloaking device that ETs use when there are no clouds. Ellensburg — Taken by a friend I was video chatting with on Saturday night June 17, 2016, at 11:00 PM. My light was out and his was also on his side. My bathroom light was on, so I could see the computer. Whatever it is had to be right behind me. I have experienced some odd things, waking up to an old table with a 50 pound marble top moved, loud bangs, seeing shadows, and my daughter said, “She saw a tall man once in front of the fire place.” They investigated this and concluded that it was a grey. Fort Lincoln –I was aboard Amtrak from New York to Florida when I was taking pictures but I didn’t notice the object until after I got home months later while reviewing the pictures. The picture was taken in Fort Lincoln, Washington, DC on August 2nd, 2016 at 8:51 am. I had experienced some interference with my cell phone reception but at the time I ignored it. The images before and after do not show the object. I’m just curious as to what it is above the busy bridge?

Burlington — I was waiting in a store parking lot, leaning against my car and looking at the cirrus cloud whips on November 6, 2016. I noticed a bright pinpoint. It went behind the high cloud but was still faintly visible. When the cloud passed, it was still there and I spotted eight other stationary lights/reflections nearby, so I grabbed my phone to take a picture so I could zoom in. My partner and I were lying on the hood of the vehicle looking up at the stars in the middle of nowhere on November 6, 2016, I spotted a moving object. Showing my partner I told him it was moving way to quick to be a satellite. Then we spotted two more that changed direction. They moved in near the same area like it was a road for UFOs. After they disappeared with a flash we spotted flashes around one star forming a circle. They kept flashing randomly making a circle. Haroldo Westendorff 20 years ago spotted a UFO from his aircraft. One of the most extraordinary sightings of a pilot in Brazil took place in Rio Grande do Sul, on the Lagoa dos Patos.

Wednesday is a special day for the Brazilian Ufology, celebrating twenty years of one of its most impressive cases. On 5 September 1996 the pilot gaucho Haroldo Westendorff, Brazilian bi-champion of acrobatics, flying a plane near the city of São José do Norte. At 10.30 AM on a sunny day 1,800 meters above sea level, Haroldo suddenly faced with a huge object slowly flying over the region.
The UFO had a pyramid shape and base was 100 meters and its height was 50 to 60 meters. Westendorff noted that the object had eight sides and each of these there were three protruding wedges. Noting that detail, he realized that the UFO slowly rotating around its axis. In addition, the top had an oval dome and immediately contacted Harold pellets Airport. An operator of the tower was also able to observe the UFO, but the military radar did not detect any traffic.
The pilot approached the UFO cautiously and began circling it while describing everything via the radio. Suddenly, the upper dome of the object opened and a smaller UFO in the shape of two superposed plates, emerged from there upright, leaned over and fired at extremely high speed, heading for the sea. Haroldo estimated his speed at Mach 10, or ten times the sound and described what came to consider: “I thought I’d take a dip with the plane of the opening of the ship to see what was inside, but gave up when that opening came a column of reddish and undulating rays that scared me so I moved 200 meters from the ship.”
A few moments later, the giant UFO shot vertically enormous speed, causing fear in the pilot, He did not notice any wind or noise. The operator of the Pelotas tower, Airton Mendes da Silva, stated, “I saw an object in the form of a gray triangle with rounded edges.” The Case Haroldo Westendorff is one of the most impressive and emblematic Brazilian ufology, The UFO shot away at high speed after releasing a column of red rays. Don Mills— I was walking home from work on November 1, 2016, and noticed there were more stars than normal. At first, I thought it was the moon or a star changing into various colors but was not moving. I instantly froze and my body became cold. Then I ran pulled out my phone and began trying to get the clearest recording of it that I possibly could. The night before on my way home from work I also observed north of me that there was a huge black triangle with five lights shaped like an upside down Y. I also got really scared and ran inside. Crumlin— I was on the phone in my backyard on October 13, 2016. I looked up to see a large black diamond/cone shaped object. It was about 5.30 PM, when I saw a wobbling object a few miles away. It suddenly changed direction and flew NW away from me into cloud cover which is when I managed to take a picture! It all happened so fast, suddenly it was gone. I live in the country near an airport so I’m use to seeing lights/objects in the sky. You see them all out here, 99.9% I can explain. This one I can’t. Mysterious x-rays coming from Pluto leave scientists baffled
The X-rays were detected by NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory on four separate occasions between February 2014 and August 2015.
X-rays are usually produced by the interaction of solar wind, the flow of charged particles from the sun, and the neutral gas atoms around a planet or comet.
Scientists did not think it was possible for Pluto to produce x-rays because, when the New Horizons spacecraft flew by it in 2015, it found that the dwarf planet has no measurable magnetic field and its atmosphere is a very tenuous layer of gases.
However a new study has found that a very small amount of x-rays are still leaking from the planet.
Chandra detected 174 kiloseconds worth of X-rays ‒ amounting to just seven photons ‒ over the course of about two days’ observation time. This is a tiny amount of data, but is still considerably more than the researchers were expecting, and they are struggling to explain why the X-rays are there, as the paper The Puzzling Detection of X-rays From Pluto by Chandra outlines.
It’s thought that the observation could lead to further discoveries. Pluto is the largest entity in the Kuiper belt, an icy disk in the solar system that is largely made up of small bodies. Scientists believe that if the X-rays coming off Pluto are also being emitted by other objects in the belt, then X-ray observations could help find them.

De vraag is nu waarom Pluto zoveel röntgenstraling produceert. Een mogelijke verklaring is dat de staart van gassen die de dwergplaneet achter zich aansleept langer en breder is dan gedacht.
Andere mogelijkheden zijn dat magnetische velden meer zonnedeeltjes dan verwacht in de richting van Pluto geleiden of dat zich langs de baan van Pluto een torus van gas heeft gevormd.
Pluto is het grootste object in de Kuipergordel, een ring of gordel die een enorme hoeveelheid kleine hemellichamen bevat die achter Neptunus in een baan om de zon draaien.
Het onderzoek is gepubliceerd in het tijdschrift Icarus.
De meest vreemde komeet in ons zonnestelsel is ongetwijfeld komeet P67.
Hij zendt alleen radiosignalen, maar zo te zien hebben buitenaardsen het zich daar ook gemakkelijk gemaakt.
Eerder deze week schreven wij al over deze bijzondere komeet (zie onder) en hoe uit recente NASA foto’s bleek dat er een ruimteschip/UFO boven de komeet hing.
Het wordt nog vreemder, want nu is er op de komeet zelf een soort geparkeerd ruimteschip aangetroffen.
Het is een ontdekking die is gedaan door ufoloog Scott Waring op een EAS (European Space Administration) foto van juli dit jaar.
Duidelijk is dat het geen vlekje op de lens is, maar een klein soort ruimtevaartuig dat een beetje lijkt op een modern stealth gevechtsvliegtuig.
Een UFO in een dergelijke kleur steekt ook wel mooi af tegen het donkere oppervlakte van de komeet en kan dan ook op geen enkele wijze worden afgedaan als een “natuurlijk verschijnsel”.
Dat zal dan ook wel de achterliggende reden zijn dat alle communicatie met de Rosetta opeens is opgehouden omdat deze gecrasht zou zijn. Scott is er heilig van overtuigd dat dit een leugen is en dat de missie in het geheim gewoon doorgaat.
Wat die missie dan is, is niet duidelijk, maar wel dat er buitenaardsen bij betrokken zijn.

Een komeet die radiosignalen uitzendt en waar de Europese ruimtevaartorganisatie ESA miljarden euro’s aan uitgeeft om die te onderzoeken.
Ogenschijnlijk kwam er enkele weken geleden een einde aan de Europese ruimtemissie naar de komeet 67P
Op 30 september 2016, om 12.38 uur crashte Rosetta gecontroleerd op de komeet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. Om 13.20 uur (Nederlandse tijd), kwam de bevestiging binnen dat Rosetta gecrasht is. Deze vertraging werd veroorzaakt doordat het 40 minuten duurde voordat de data de aarde bereikte. De sonde werd in overeenstemming met internationale afspraken automatisch uitgezet vlak voor de landing, dit om te voorkomen dat de zender als een stoorzender in het zonnestelsel zou gaan werken en andere observaties zou gaan storen. De crash betekent het einde van de succesvolle missie van Rosetta.
Echter, de dag voordat Rosetta crashte, zijn er toch nog wel een paar interessante opnames gemaakt waaruit blijkt dat die komeet toch wel even iets meer is dan men ons wil laten geloven.
Zoals op de volgende opname te zien, hangt er een grote UFO boven de rotsmassa van komeet 67P.
De bekende videomaker op Youtube BP Earthwatch ontving een e-mail met het volgende nogal schokkende bericht:
Het bericht is afkomstig van iemand die werkt binnen ESA (European Space Agency). Deze zegt dat de belangstelling voor deze komeet zo’n twintig jaar geleden werd gewekt doordat NASA radiosignalen ontving, afkomstig van deze komeet.
Dat niet alleen, maar ergens in de afgelopen twintig jaar schijnt 67P ook van koers te zijn veranderd.
Veel wetenschappers hebben ook al hun verbazing uitgesproken over het uiterlijk van deze komeet omdat men een soort sneeuw en ijsklomp had verwacht. Iets waarbij in het geval van 67P absoluut geen sprake is.
Besloten werd volgens de klokkenluider om deze “komeet” met een bezoek te vereren. Om de aandacht af te leiden en dit zo geruisloos mogelijk te doen, werd een samenwerking aangegaan tussen NASA en ESA, waarbij de laatste een missie zou organiseren onder de noemer van onderzoek naar een komeet.
De klokkenluider zegt verder: "Jullie zijn toch niet zo gek om te geloven dat ze deze Rosetta missie die al in 2004 werd gelanceerd en miljarden Dollars kost, zomaar gaan doen om een stukje rots in de ruimte te onderzoeken? Nee, ze doen dit omdat er iets aan de hand is met 67P en omdat ze vandaar radiosignalen hebben opgevangen".
Wat 67P ook moge zijn, volgens de klokkenluider is het zeker dat het geen komeet is.
Dan, net voordat de Rosetta voor ons gewone mensen volledig uit beeld verdwijnt, een ruimteschip wat daar hangt wat minstens 100 meter lang is.
I found this long building on the planet Mercury today. It really stood out and it was build on the edge of the crater wall. This building could move from place to place...think motorhome style of living, but could be in this location for mining. Basho crater is 75km in diameter says NASA, so this building is 1/8 the distance across the crater, so the length of the building is 9.37km across or 5 miles long. That is big enough to hold tens of thousands of people.
There is also a very large dark tower. Its on the opposite side of the crater and is as tall as the building is long...about 5 miles high.
The evidence is mounting up day by day. Soon an avalanche of evidence will be falling upon NASA, forcing them to tell the truth...that intelligent extraterrestrials do exist.

The disk appears to be metallic and has a blur around it. The blur was explained long ago by Bob Lazar of Area 51, who said, the blur is associated with the propulsion of the craft. I agree, every points to this being an alien craft over Fresno, but its kind of brazen to be over such a high populate area, unless they examining the San Andreas quake line. I was in my backyard in Fresno,Ca. I was taking random photos of the sky just before and during sunset. The weather was warm with scattered light clouds. This clearly did not look like a typical plane. This object was ovals/disc shaped and solid black with no windows, wings and not sound. It must have travelled fast since I did not see it. This object from space fell last night and its really big. Don't let the seems fool you. I have found alien artefacts with seems before, the greatest of my finds, a face on Mercury with detail and seems similar to that of the statue of liberty but of a black man was one of my greatest finds, however, my Asus computer caught a rare black screen virus just 24 hours later, destroying all my screenshots, and links to the site, and destroying my entire computer.
The object above may be an alien created fragment of an object, but it does has similarities to rocket boosters. Its not a military satellite, since its mostly an empty container, and military satellites are mostly small, compact and loaded with tech...this one is mostly empty...which means it probably held fuel. This is an old part of a rocket and could have been stuck in orbit for decades.

The governments of this world are not telling the complete details they know about aliens, according to the founder of Strange Phenomena Investigation, Malcolm Robinson.
A source with a connection to the Ministry of Defence (MOD) has revealed to Robinson that governments, including Britain, aren’t telling even 50 percent of the truth.
The MoD had operated a UFO desk for three decades but stopped in 2009 because it was allegedly not helping the country’s defence and taking away resources and staff from more important activities. The public can access the findings gathered in the last two years of MoD UFO desk’s operation in the National Archives website, which holds other UFO files that MoD has previously released.
The collection of 25 files containing 4,400 pages includes a letter written by two Staffordshire young boys. The letter includes a narration about an apparent alien with a lemon-shaped head that invited the two boys to come with them.
Also included are sketches from recorded sightings, such as the color of the lights by the unknown aircraft and its height.
Robinsons, a paranormal investigator for decades, called for the government to conduct a serious investigation on sightings, including old case police files from Bonnybridge, Scotland, which comprised of at least 300 sightings.
He said the Ministry of Defense has slowly released records from the government in the U.K. The U.S. has also been declassified documents that clearly show NSA had connivance with governments from other nations and known exactly the truth.
As the world watched the race for the next president of the United States, it seemed that anyone else out there did the same.
UFO spotters have been left without a clue as to who or what was following the now U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s helicopter as it flew during his campaign.
The photographer, who chose not to be named, captured a blob following closely behind the business tycoon turned politician chopper as it flew a group of children above the Iowa State Fair.
According to the report of the witness to a U.S. national UFO database, Donald Trump gave children a ride in his helicopter at the Iowa State Fair.
The witness stated that they were walking down the street to the fair. They saw Trump’s helicopter flying overhead. The reporting witness decided to take a photo of the chopper using his phone camera.
When he later reviewed the picture while sitting in the shade, the witness was shocked to see the UFO in the photograph.
The Iowa Mutual UFO Network branch is reportedly investigating the report and the photo.
MUFON spokesman Roger Marsh suggested that the object could be anything from a second helicopter to a bird or perhaps a UFO. He said that picture analysis might shed some light on the object’s identity.

Vital clues may be lurking around the strange fragment of metal recovered near the scene of the infamous Roswell UFO crash site.
Best-selling author Ben Mezrich discovered the scrap, which is awaiting to be tested, when he visited the site to research his new book “The 37th Parallel.” The book investigated the UFO and paranormal road of the same name. Part of the 37th north parallel in latitude has become known for UFO sightings and unexplained animal mutilation cases.
The road is also believed to house several U.S. military bases and American Indian holy sites.
The Roswell case became so famous after the military announced they had recovered the remains of a crashed flying saucer in the nearby desert. However, they retracted their statement the following day, saying it was just a damaged U.S. Air Force air balloon.
Witnesses later came forward with claims that they saw alien bodies within the crashed sites along with the wreckage, which were taken to the top-secret Area 51 in Nevada.
The book looks into the bottom of UFO sightings along the parallel, including the Roswell incident. It charts the work of UFOlogist Chuck Zukowski, who investigated various cases along the parallel, which takes in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and southern ridge of Colorado, for several years.
Mr. Mezrich is also the author of the best-selling book “The Accidental Billionaires,” which the film “The Social Network” is basing. He was a total skeptic before researching for his books. As from a family of scientists, he assumed before that most of the UFO community was crazy.
However, Mr. Mezrich became a believer when he met Mr. Zukowski, a former sheriff’s deputy and a part-time microchip engineer. Mr. Mezrich said that he now believes something happened at Roswell.
In 2002, Mr. Zukowski found strange triangular pieces of metal close to the 1947 Roswell crash site. However, it was just recently that he sent a fragment of it to the laboratory of Bigelow Aerospace. Conclusive results of the examination are yet to be released, according to the book

– While most alien invasion films tend to treat the world as U.S. territory, co-writer/director Neill Blomkamp set his tale in South Africa (where he’s from), where an extraterrestrial race has arrived seeking solace and is forced to live in slum-like conditions. The film’s parallels to apartheid and immigration are none too subtle, but it makes for topical commentary.
▪ “Independence Day” (1996)
– OK, OK, it’s not actually a good film, but it’s a great bad one and more than a guilty pleasure. Sure, there are logic and plot holes big enough to drive a spaceship through, but who can resist Bill Pullman’s president speech? “We will not go quietly into the night. We will not vanish without a fight. We’re going to live on. We’re going to survive. Today, we celebrate our Independence Day!” I shed a little tear just now.
▪ “They Live” (1988)
– Wrestler-turned-“actor” “Rowdy” Roddy Piper gives a monotone, wooden performance in John Carpenter’s cult classic, but that actually makes it even better. He plays a man who stumbles across a pair of sunglasses that reveal aliens in our midst and expose evil subliminal forces at work in our everyday surroundings. The film’s Big Brother-like predictions are a bit too close for comfort.
▪ “Edge of Tomorrow” (2014)
– Tom Cruise plays a soldier, but the real star is the film’s “Groundhog Day”-like premise, in which Cruise slowly figures out how to fight off aliens by having to live the same day over and over again. It’s dazzling, gripping and a lot of fun.
▪ “Starship Troopers” (1997)
– Campy as all get-out but wearing it like a badge of honor is Paul Verhoeven’s giddily violent sci-fi mash-up where aliens that look like giant bugs have invaded Earth. It’s completely ridiculous but pure adrenaline-fueled fun.
▪ “Attack the Block” (2011)
– This British import is director Joe Cornish’s under-the-radar gem, about a teen gang in South London defending their block from an alien invasion. It’s funny, creative and exciting with some sly social commentary. It also stars a newcomer who would go on to stardom in a galaxy far, far away: John Boyega, who plays Finn in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

– No, not that painfully boring 2008 Keanu Reeves remake, but the original black-and-white classic about an alien that arrives and tells the people of Earth they must live peacefully or be destroyed as a danger to other planets. Ghosts & the Supernatural – Image Interpreters within the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) have an array of satellite imagery to analyze. The name ‘geospatial intelligence’ (GEOINT) basically means the exploitation and analysis of imagery and geospatial data to dissect visual images of physical features and geographical activities on Earth.
If we are being visited by UFOs, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency will most likely be the first ones to know it.
NGA most likely see UFOs flying in and around Earth and even near our satellites. NGA supports civilian and military leaders in their preparation for readiness of US Military forces. They also contribute towards humanitarian efforts such as tracking disasters like Hurricane Katrina and the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
NGA is a member of the U.S. Intelligence Community and a Department of Defense (DoD) Combat Support Agency. Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., NGA operates major facilities in the St. Louis, Mo. and Washington, D.C. areas. The Agency also fields support teams worldwide.
Through the Freedom of Information Act, it is necessary for UFO Hunters worldwide to assemble and attempt to collect any information on UFOs that the NGA may have. If anyone knows that we are not alone, it would definitely be the NGA that knows.
Besides the NGA knowing about the truth of UFOs, here is a report that I received from two men who make claim that they are connected with the Israeli Mossad and Interpol. The UFO report that they disclosed is from South Africa:

At 10pm January 1, 2011, I may have received a phone call from operatives of the Israeli Mossad and Interpol, but of course again, it could have been a prank international call. I report it as it comes to me. Here is that report:
Paul: Hello?
Aliquis: (Speaker Phone) Hello Paul, we just had a UFO sighting that was kind of unusual and want to make a report. (Accent).
Paul: Sure, go ahead. What is your name?
Aliquis: Call me Aliquis, my partner here is Hospes.
Paul: What are your full names? Where are you calling from, this is a very unusual number?
Hospes: No full names please ( British accent?). We are here at Annadale, South Africa and we see something unusual. We can’t explain it. Do you take UFO reports?
Paul: Yes, HPI takes UFO reports, how did you find me?
Aliquis: We read your UFO stories on Internet, you are easy access to reach. This morning at 8am we see two UFOs. One UFO chase other UFO and shoot beam at UFO. UFO keeps beam on other UFO and moves it along and up into the clouds. The clouds parted and we could see the blue sky.
Paul: It is 10pm here and it’s still Jan 1st, it must be Jan 2nd over there, correct?
Hospice: Yes, correct.
Paul: So, you are saying the other UFO shot out a trajectory beam at the other UFO and it appeared it was towing the other UFO with a beam?
Hospice: Yes.
Paul: What kind of work do you two do and do you live in South Africa?
Aliquis: No, I am from Israel and my friend is from England. We are on assignment here in South Africa.
Paul: What kind of assignment?
Aliquis: I cannot comment on that.
Paul: What are the weather conditions? I have to ask you what kind of work do you do, for establishment of your character for this report?
Hospes: Aliquis is an Intelligence Analyst and I work in a Criminal Analysis Department. Some rain, partly cloudy at times, some thunder and saw some lightning.
Paul: Hospes, sounds like he is from England and if he works for a Criminal Analysis Department, then most likely he works for Interpol?
Hospes: I cannot disclose that. Have there been any other sightings in South Africa?
Paul: Yes, South Africa is sometimes a hotbed of UFO activity. I believe in 1965 some constables saw a UFO land in South Africa and 1974 2 men were abducted by a UFO. Many sightings take place in South Africa. Did you see any lights on the UFOs and what were the shape?
Hospes: Disc shaped and they were both pulsating red, we were maybe 10 miles from the UFOs when we saw them.
Paul: Did they change color?
Hospes: No.
Paul: Was there any sound emitting from the crafts?
Hospes: No.
Paul: Were there any aircraft nearby?
Hospes: Not that we can see.
Paul: Were you two the only ones that saw it?
Hospes: From what we can tell, yes.
Paul: Do you think there was some kind of misidentification, perhaps these were conventional aircraft and what you saw was a light emitting from one plane to another and the other plane followed the other plane into the clouds?
Aliquis: No, we are experienced observers, we know what aircraft look like, we make no mistakes and my organization has not made any mistake, only when we didn’t capture Mengele.
Paul: What? Mengele? The former German SS Officer that was on the run, the Angel of Death? Israeli Mossad was after Mengele, are you Mossad?
Aliquis: (Laughing) Paul…you are a funny man, even if I was, I would not be able to disclose that.

Personal Note from Paul: I do believe that Aliquis and Hospes saw something in South Africa, something that they will never forget. Many prestigious men and women of all walks of life have seen UFOs. Here are some quick case examples. Major General Wilfried De Brouwer, a very distinguished Belgium military officer has reported sightings of UFOs. As of November 29, 1989 a total of 143 UFOs have been reported in Belgium alone. Federal police at Lake Gileppe witnessed a UFO shoot out 2 red light beams with a red ball at the spearhead of both beams, in the horizontal plane.
Neil Daniels a United Airlines pilot Captain for 35 years with 30,000 flying hours under his belt and holds the distinguished flying. Neil in 1977 saw a UFO with his co-pilot and flight engineer. They observed a perfect round brilliant light at their wing tip, only a mere 1000 yards away from their United DC-10 that was enroute to Boston Logan from San Francisco.
With credible witnesses like this, I scoff at the critics. These men know what conventional aircraft look like. When they say they saw a UFO, I have a strong tendency to believe them. When I hear someone faced with witnesses like this and say they are skeptical, I say SHUT UP and listen! Okay let’s move on.
In 1982 a Portuguese air force pilot named Julio Guerra looked out his cockpit window and saw a low flying metallic disc. He was the Captain of Portugalia Airlines, he only saw this one UFO, but it changed his life forever.
General Parviz Jafari of the Iranian Air Force on Sept 18, 1976 was flying over Tehran and encountered 2 UFOs. The UFOs did not show up on radar and at one point of time Jafari was preparing to shoot down the UFOs with his AIM-9 heat seeking missiles. All instruments on the plane stopped working, communication disabled, weapon control panel went out as he observed the UFOs that went 10 degrees to the right, 10 degrees to the left and 10 degrees back to the right, something that a jet can’t even do! When the UFOs were gone, all instruments on the plane came back on and were in working order.
Comandante Oscar Santa Maria Huertas of the Peruvian Air Force witnessed UFOs, the list goes on and on and on! Did you know the FAA investigated a UFO that chased a Japanese 747 across the Alaskan sky for 30 minutes on November 7, 1986? Prestigious people from all around the world have witnessed UFOs or discovered the government knew more about UFOs than they want to admit, ask former head of British Defense Ministry’s UFO Investigative Unit Nick Pope. Ask Fife Symington III, former governor of Arizona what he thinks those Phoenix lights were, believe me he does not think they are flares!
It’s just a matter of time, when we realize that: 1. We are not alone. 2. Extraterrestrials kick started the human race and have been with us since the beginning of time. 3. Our governments knew about UFOs all along and suppressed it from the people. The day of enlightment will be here soon.

A paranormal investigator claimed that the British government is hiding the truth about UFOs and aliens. There have been hundreds of UFO sightings across the continents and the United Kingdom is just one of the countries known as a UFO hotspot.
The founder of the Strange Phenomena Investigations that is responsible for carrying out UFO and Paranormal Research, Malcolm Robinson, has recently revealed that the former Ministry of Defense (MoD) has disclosed several cold case police files from Bonnybridge showing evidence of at least 300 UFO sightings at UK's own "Area 51".
The United Kingdom also has its own Area 51 just like in the U.S. This Area 51 is allegedly considered as a secret military base where the remains of the UFO space crafts are stored. According to a report published by TIME Magazine, UK possibly houses a top secret facility which is similar to Area 51 that stores evidences about UFO and alien sightings.
According to the reports, Malcolm has already submitted the case files about UFO sightings to the former British Prime Minister, David Cameron. He has also requested the government to launch a formal inquiry about extraterrestrial sightings. However, the request was ignored.
The Mystery behind Area 51
In 2013, CNNreported that the Central Intelligence Agency has finally admitted that the Area 51 in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States is storing debris of extraterrestrial aircraft. And on 2014, the former Area 51 scientist, Boyd Bushman has exposed the evidence of aliens and UFOs before his last breath.
Now, it is not just the United States that stores UFO and aliens evidence. According to Robinson, the governments including Britain had covered up many sightings and files about UFOs and aliens. He claimed that the manager of the defunct UFO desk, Nick Pope have lots of evidence, but refused to divulge half of it to the world.
UFO Department and Hotline was Shut Down
In 2009, the UFO department and hotline were closed because it no longer served its defense purpose. Documents were taken away and were later revealed from the Freedom of Information. Mr. Robinson said that the Ministry of Defence has slowly unveiled the government files about UFO sightings in the UK.

The theories range from UFOs operating under the ice to the release of methane gas to Russian or U.S. submarines lurking around in Canadian waters.
But one possible explanation for the mysterious sounds seemingly coming from the ocean floor in Canada’s Arctic may be rather straightforward, suggests a U.S. scientist working on project that generates low frequency sound in the far North. It could be ice rubbing together.
Last week, acting on a request from the government of Nunavut, the Canadian military sent a CP-140 Aurora aircraft to conduct surveillance of Fury and Hecla Strait, northwest of the hamlet of Igloolik. Hunters in the area have reported hearing noises ranging from hums to pings to beeps. They say the noises are driving animals away.
Paul Quassa, a member of Nunavut’s legislative assembly, told lawmakers last month the sounds seem to be coming from the sea floor. “The sound that has been heard in the area seems to be emitted from the seabed and underwater,” Quassa said in an Oct. 25 statement.
According to Department of National Defence spokesman Dan Le Bouthillier, the Aurora’s crew conducted “various multi-sensor searches in the area, including an acoustic search for 1.5 hours, without detecting any acoustic anomalies. The crew did not detect any surface or subsurface contacts.” The Aurora crew did observe two pods of whales and six walruses in the area of interest, Le Bouthillier added.
Residents have speculated about various theories for the sounds, including that a mining company may be conducting sonar surveys or that environmentalists may be using some kind of device to scare away animals so they can’t be hunted. Others have suggested the release of methane gases from the ocean floor or clandestine visits by Russian or U.S. submarines.
One of the more prominent theories focused on the claim the sounds were being emitted by a science project in the Arctic funded by the Office of Naval Research in the U.S. That project, called the Canada Basin Acoustic Propagation Experiment or CANAPE, uses low frequency sound to determine how the ongoing changes in sea ice affect acoustics. The project could produce data for use in tracking submarines in the far North.
But Peter Worcester of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California said the sounds being generated by CANAPE are very low and too far away to be heard in the Fury and Hecla Strait. “The signals transmitted for CANAPE are only expected to be above the background ocean noise level out to a range of at most a few hundred kilometers, which is much less than the distance to Fury and Hecla Strait,” said Worcester, who heads the project. “Even if the signals were louder, any underwater sound generated north of Alaska would be blocked from reaching Fury and Hecla Strait by the many islands in the Canadian Archipelago.”
Worcester said he didn’t know what would cause the mystery sounds and is loath to speculate since he hasn’t heard them himself. But he noted much of the acoustic noise in the Arctic is caused by ice rubbing together, cracking, and moving. Early Arctic explorers called the noises the “Devil’s Symphony” with descriptions ranging from buzzing, wheezing and loud bangs.
“You can even get things where the ice hums, where you get sounds that resonate almost like an organ pipe,” Worcester explained. “There was a paper written about the notion there are various melodies associated with the sounds generated by sea ice.”
A spokesman with the DND said the department considers the issue of the mystery noises now closed and there are no plans at this time to send more aircraft to investigate.

Introduction
The U.S. Air Force's X-37B space plane has been zipping around Earth since May 2015 while it performs a number of hush-hush activities. The current mission is the fourth for the robotic X-37B, which is also known as the Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV). The other three OTV flights launched in April 2010, March 2011 and December 2012. Here are a few surprising facts about the military space plane.

1. It's tiny
The X-37B looks a lot like NASA's iconic space shuttle, but the two types of vehicles don't resemble each other in size. The X-37B is just 29 feet (8.8 meters) long, with a wingspan of 15 feet (4.6 m). The now-retired space shuttle orbiters, by contrast, were 122 feet (37 m) long, and measured more than 78 feet (24 m) from wingtip to wingtip. Two X-37Bs could fit inside the shuttle's cavernous payload bay. Indeed, the X-37B's designers originally envisioned the shuttle carrying the smaller space plane to orbit but ultimately decided that launching the X-37B atop a rocket would be more economical. The X-37B currently rides to orbit aboard United Launch Alliance's Atlas V rocket. Like the space shuttle, the X-37B lands on a runway, plane-style, but does everything autonomously (in contrast to the piloted shuttle, which usually carried a crew of seven astronauts).

2. Its missions are classified
Although the Air Force has disclosed some of the payloads that have flown to orbit on the X-37B, most of the space plane's onboard gear is classified, as are the details of its orbital activities. This secrecy has led to some speculation that the vehicle is some sort of space weapon, perhaps one designed to take out or capture satellites. However, the Air Force has always denied this notion, insisting that the X-37B is just testing out technologies for future spacecraft, and carrying various experiments up to space and back. Some of these technologies being tested may be sensors and other equipment for future spy satellites, outside experts have said.

3. It has NASA roots
The X-37 program started in 1999 with NASA, which initially planned to develop two separate vehicles: an Approach and Landing Test Vehicle (ALTV), and an Orbital Vehicle (OV). But NASA transferred X-37 development to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in 2004, at which point it became a classified program. In 2006, the Air Force announced it would develop its own X-37 vehicle, which it dubbed the X-37B, or OTV. The design of the space plane was based heavily on the original OV, which was never built. (DARPA did construct and test the ALTV, however.) Boeing has been the primary contractor for the X-37B program dating back to its inception in 1999. To date, the company has apparently built two X-37B space planes for the Air Force. (Two different vehicles have flown the program's four space missions.)

4. The missions are incredibly long
The Air Force's X-37B fact sheet states that the space plane is designed to spend up to 270 days in orbit at a time. However, the vehicle has already zoomed past that limit multiple times. The first X-37B mission, known as OTV-1, stayed aloft for just 225 days. But OTV-2 and OTV-3 lasted 469 days and 674 days, respectively. OTV-4 has been circling Earth for more than 530 days, and when it will land is anybody's guess. This longevity may be a key part of the X-37B. After all, engineers testing technologies for future satellites want to see how this gear behaves in the space environment for long periods of time, experts have said.

5. You can see it from the ground
Though the Air Force doesn't disclose the X-37B's precise orbit, keen-eyed amateur astronomers have managed to track the vehicle from the ground — and so can you, thanks to their efforts. Check out Space.com’s satellite tracker to see where the X-37B is overhead during a mission. The view won't be dramatic; the space plane usually looks like a star of middling brightness moving across the sky.

6. Future versions might be coming
The current version of the X-37 may not be the last to reach space. In 2011, Boeing representatives announced that they were considering developing a larger variant called the X-37C, which could carry up to six astronauts to and from the International Space Station (ISS). In addition, an engineering team led by former NASA astronaut Stephen Johnson has proposed using a modified version of the X-37B as an ISS emergency-evacuation vehicle. But this is just a concept at the moment, and there's no indication that Boeing is investigating this "astronaut ambulance" variant.

Amerikaanse wetenschappers hebben een trechter op Mars gevonden. Het gaat om een depressie die is gevormd door een vulkaan onder een gletsjer. Is er ooit microscopisch leven ontstaan in deze warme omgeving?
De kans dat er nu nog microscopisch leven op Mars is, is klein, maar het is niet onmogelijk. Het oppervlak van de rode planeet is vele malen droger dan de droogste plekken op aarde. Maar miljarden jaren geleden was de planeet veel natter en warmer.
Sommige plekken op Mars zijn interessant om te onderzoeken als ‘hot spots’ van leven. Dit zijn plaatsen waar de ingrediënten voor leven ooit aanwezig waren, namelijk water, hitte en voedingsstoffen. Dit geldt voor een bijzondere depressie die lijkt op een trechter. De depressie is te vinden in een krater op de rand van het Hellas Bassin. Met een diameter van 2300 kilometer is het Hellas Bassin de grootste inslagstructuur op Mars. “We hebben verschillende scenario’s getest en denken dat de depressie is ontstaan door de interactie van lava en ijs”, concluderen de onderzoekers in het paper.
En dat is bijzonder, want als het gebied is ontstaan door een vulkaan onder een gletsjer, dan waren alle ingrediënten voor het ontstaan van leven aanwezig, inclusief vloeibaar water en chemische voedingsstoffen. Het is geen gek idee om een Marslander in dit gebied neer te zetten en om op zoek te gaan naar sporen van leven.

De beroemde fysicus Stephen Hawking vindt het niet verstandig dat wetenschappers signalen naar mogelijke buitenaardse beschavingen sturen, in de hoop dat zij contact met ons opnemen. Dit kan wel eens heel gevaarlijk zijn.
In een nieuwe video legt Hawking uit dat we als mensheid een flink risico nemen. Het ergste is dat we al decennia signalen uitzenden. Tachtig jaar, om precies te zijn. “Des te ouder ik word, des te meer overtuigd ik ben van het feit dat we niet alleen in het universum zijn”, vertelt Hawking. “Ooit ontvangen we misschien een signaal van een planeet als Gliese 832c, maar we moeten niet te snel antwoorden.”
Een buitenaardse beschaving is mogelijk veel geavanceerder dan de mensheid. Deze aliens zien ons misschien als zwak en inferieur. “Wellicht vinden zij ons net zo waardevol als dat wij bacteriën vinden”, concludeert de fysicus.
Het is riskant om contact op te nemen met een buitenaardse beschaving die qua technologische ontwikkelingen duizenden, miljoenen of miljarden jaren verder is dan de mensheid.
Kunstmatige intelligentie Overigens denkt Hawking hetzelfde over kunstmatige intelligentie. “Kunstmatige intelligentie is het beste of het slechtste wat de mensheid kan overkomen”, zei hij een paar weken geleden tijdens een lezing op de Universiteit van Cambridge. “Kunstmatige intelligentie kan zichzelf op hoge snelheid herontwerpen, terwijl wij mensen het moeten doen met langzame, biologische evolutie. We kunnen deze strijd niet winnen.”
Dit is ook de conclusie van het boek Superintelligentie van hoogleraar Nick Bostrom. “We moeten problemen oplossen voordat de intelligentie-explosie plaatsvindt”, zegt Bostrom. “We moeten niet in paniek raken of fanatici worden, omdat de intelligentie-explosie nog minimaal tientallen jaren weg is. Wat we wel moeten doen is al onze menselijke krachten gebruiken om een oplossing te vinden.”
Breakthrough Starshot Ondanks zijn respectabele leeftijd van 74 jaar zit Stephen Hawking niet stil. Op dit moment werkt hij samen met de Russische filantroop Yuri Milner aan een nieuw wetenschappelijk project: Breakthrough Starshot. Het duo wil een ruimtevaartuig naar een van de meest nabije buursterren sturen, namelijk Alpha Centauri. De afstand naar het Alpha Centauri-systeem bedraagt 4,37 lichtjaar en dat moet deze ruimtesonde in twintig jaar tijd overbruggen.
Het ruimtevaartuig reist op hoge snelheid naar Alpha Centauri.
Zoals het er nu naar uit ziet wordt het ruimtevaartuig binnen vijftien jaar gelanceerd. Misschien kiezen Hawking en Milner uiteindelijk niet voor Alpha Centauri, maar voor de meest nabije rode dwergster Proxima Centauri. Deze ster is slechts 4,2 lichtjaar van de aarde verwijderd. Het mooie aan Proxima Centauri is dat er een aardachtige exoplaneet om deze ster draait, waar wellicht vloeibaar water op het oppervlak ligt. Zeer interessant, want waar vloeibaar water is, is wellicht leven.
