Tall Grays

The Tall Grays, according to many abductees, appear to be the initiators of the hybridization agenda. The consensus from decades of CE4 testimony points to the conclusion that our Tall Grays are Transhumans from a future or parallel reality Earth that has (or will) destroy their environment and thus appear as they do to us physically having manipulated their DNA for tens of thousands of years. Yes, this sounds like science fiction and no one can be faulted for not being able to fully accept this future mutated human scenario. All we can do is consider the reports and correlate the known facts the best we can and rule out known hoaxes. We do however have dozens of impeccable eye witnesses who have offered up consistent testimony over a period of years if not decades. Be skeptical, but do not allow skepticism more air time than it deserves.

One of the most widely observed beings encountered during medical abductions are the Small Grays. In the early years many abductees and UFO researchers believed the Small Grays were an alien race entering bedrooms late at night to escort patients into craft for medical procedures. As more events have been reported and more information has flowed in the conscious collective that is our internet, likewise our collective image of who the small gray drones actually are and what their task is has become quite clear.

Small Gray or a hybrid being seen by Stan Romanek?

It is now generally accepted that these small gray beings are in fact biological workers. They appear to be fabricated workers which are the result of extremely advanced genetic manipulation. The Gray's have succeeded in creating autonomous creatures, what we might call androids, who carry out mundane or dangerous tasks for the Tall Grays. Consider how impressive these beings are in the specs: they have the intelligence and physical composition to move through time from another dimension, withstand some form of beaming teleportation technology, they can switch human beings mentally off at will and project telepathic thoughts and they likely possess even more extraordinary abilities we are not aware of. The Small Grays, in all of their glorious functionality, represent living evidence of the blending of advanced genetic technology and nanotechnology by beings who have an absolute understanding of quantum principles and physics of the Multiverse.

The diminutive size and controlled mental capacity of Small Gray workers likely represents a logic 101 amongst advanced civilizations that have the ability to fabricate conscious living workers and this rule is "Never create an artificial intelligence physically larger or as intelligent as your own". Oddly enough the Small Grays are probably more intelligent than a human, but again not as brilliant and vastly mentally superior as the Tall Grays who by all reports possess a simply stunning level of hyper consciousness coupled with dazzling intelligence that is telepathically hardwired to a Multiverse ship that can pull you through a wall at 3 am and place you in front of your deceased grandmother in another dimension.

Ed Walters published the famous book "The Gulf Breeze Sightings" in which he further describes his encounters with the Small Grays who are in fact biological units used to carry out ground operations. The Small Grays should not be confused with the Tall Grays who are evolved beings. The Small Grays are manufactured beings solely created to perform specific tasks.

Although the Small Grays have been witnessed and reported in dozens of accounts in the context of utterly terrified abductees, there does not appear to be any reason to believe the Small Grays are malicious or malevolent. In fact, the contrary seems to be the case - that the Small Grays are in a sense programmed and instructed to be overly cautious and fastidious in protecting the patients during transport to and from the craft. Conversations or impressions that telepathically bleed over into the minds of human patients during the transportation process or inside the medical facility have been relayed to us to reveal laser focused mission specific communication, cues devoid of any emotional interaction or obvious agenda. Jim Sparks offers particular insight into the transporting process and his interaction with the Small Grays.

Another type of Small Gray being reported by CE4 eyewitness AJ is a small brown skinned being that was seen on multiple occasions during her encounters in the 80's and 90's. AJ describes them in her encounter as being "three and a half feet tall and move by floating or levitating themselves. To me, their energy or presence feels the most alien of them all." Jim Sparks describes in several of his Youtube interview videos the presence of the Grays as that of a real, visceral field that is picked up and directly related to the beings role aboard the ship or within the operations hierarchy.

Not to be confused with the Tall Blondes we also have CE4 reports of Tall White beings. Whereas the Blondes are reported to have thick blonde-white hair and a substantial muscular frame the tall white beings are over seven feet tall and have a thin frame. Their hair is described as thin and like the fuzz on a peach. Their eyes are large and deep blue with a slight 'wrap around' appearance.

We have several encounters on record with the Tall Whites with a general consistency in their appearance from eyewitness to eyewitness. AJ describes an encounter with a being that fits the Tall Whites description, "I was facing these three Beings. The Being in the middle was quite tall and thin and he resembled a wizard in a way. His long white and blue robe was moving and flowing as if it had an energy of its own, or perhaps it was even an extension of his self. There was an enormous amount of energy appearing to come from within him. I knew without a doubt that I was in the presence of extraterrestrials." Are the Tall Whites simply a large group of hybrids who are the genetic result of Tall Gray DNA mixed with another race? The large eyes hint in this direction, however other reports seem to suggest they are a separate race altogether - though this fact unto itself does not rule out a hybrid connection as it now appears highly likely that all beings in the cosmos are hybrids to some degree.

There are two other interesting accounts of the Tall Whites, but these encounters do not come from patients of the hybrid program and thus the credibility is not quite on the same level as those abductees who have reported their experiences over years or decades.

Colin Andrews has an excellent write up on his website in which a police officer in the UK encounters three beings who might fit the tall white description. Because these three beings do not have the unique, muscular build often described with the Nordic types, it leans the possibility into the direction that these three beings are Tall Whites. The illustration accompanying the article certainly looks to be similar to that of the Tall Whites.

Charles Hall talks frequently about tall whites and a possible US government connection in his book Millennial Hospitality. Hall's description of the Tall Whites also covers details regarding the construction of their interstellar craft as well as his personal interactions with these beings in the Nevada desert. The account of Charles Hall is intriguing but the degree of involvement between the Tall Whites and the US Government is generally outside of the normal description of the hybridization program. However, it is certainly not impossible and there have been hints from other CE4 eyewitnesses of clandestine government involvement.

The Hybrid Program

The UFO phenomenon has evolved over the decades from the 1940′s to the present. Each generation has witnessed aerial phenomenon and has consequently had increasing access to clues and evidence. Civilizations from parallel realities and parallel dimensions similar to our own reality have been manipulating human DNA from the beginning of our recorded history and it is highly likely that all of this activity over the decades is the visually elusive air traffic of beings involved in one singularly focused mission involving humans. This genetic program is a part of our human history,  it is here with you and I now and will continue flowing down line into humanities future. It is time to accept the fact that we are hybridized humanoid beings with alien DNA.

 

However, the children of the very latest human genetic upgrade are quite different and far more advanced than you and I and thus are currently living off world out of harm’s way. We have a number of reliable eyewitness reports of these hybrid children and in this website we will paint a few broad strokes in order to take a peek at the feverish activity occurring out of public sight along with the mind bending possibilities of the impending first contact.

 

Hybridization of a conscious humanoid appears to be quite complex. Evolution is not ruled out, but there is a point at which highly advanced humanoids begin to upgrade other humanoids. The benefits of this process would, at its simplest, be the perpetuation of life, intelligence and consciousness. This is a logical expectation within an infinite multiverse and likely a process that spans countless worlds and vast expanses of time as we know it. Earth is but a part of the process and not the process itself. We will come to realize that we are part of a larger galactic family and the relatives are coming to introduce themselves.

The UFO phenomenon has evolved over the decades or at least our perception of it has. With each new sighting and each new eye witness report we are able to add a few more pieces to the puzzle, thus the big picture of what is happening is becoming clearer.

1950's - 1970's

In the early UFO years from 1950's, 60's and 70's fixation on craft and sightings, the incoming data for the general public being visual and iconic and the magic and mystery of the unknown in the Earth's skies is reinforced by Film and television shows which portrayed UFOs in various human-perspective scenarios. Our human perspective of what these strange craft and objects represent evolving each decade as more eye witness accounts came forth and our technology progressed - such as the internet which allowed the possibility for every witness to tell their story and for near real time updates on all facets of the contact phenomenon.

1980's

A massive shift in UFO awareness came about In the 1980's with reports of abductions began to make it into books such as Communion, Taken, and Guardians, and the UFO mystery turned to fear. The late 1980's saw the internet came into common use allowing people to publish their own reports of abduction and tell their story. The abductions were taking place at night, commonly around 3am with surgical strike precision and high technology. This new collective fear, granted understandable considering the vivid and harrowing details, allowed our deepest fears about the vastness and potential of the Universe to solidify within our minds.

1990's

The 1990's saw an increase in the details of the technology and logistics of these abductions - different types of beings were seen, bug-like, grey skin, small blue people, even dead relatives. Then we began to hear about the "Hybrids", those fragile children seen aboard alien craft who appeared to be both human and alien and most significantly, TELEPATHIC. The made for TV film Intruders was remarkable in addressing the hybrid being aspect of the abduction phenomenon and maintained a reasonable degree of accuracy in its portrayal of the methodology and appearance of both the small grays and the hybrid beings as typically described aboard craft.

2000 to Present

After 2000 the resolution increased and today we have a high definition picture of what is happening behind the UFO scenes, thanks to CE4 eyewitnesses like Whitley Strieber, Ed Walters and Jim Sparks who have a unique conscious recall of their abduction events. The general tone today is quite different than all of the previous decades with less fear and more understanding that indeed perhaps all of the crafts and night activity have been for the sole purpose of creating a hybrid species using human and alien DNA. The question now is, what does the future hold?

 

Hierarchy

Here we are in the present - the year is 2014 - and we have reports of Tall Grays, Small Grays, Nordics, Mantid beings, along with implants being removed by doctors (Dr. Leir) with strange lab results. We have people reporting missing time and awakening with strange visions of the future, unearthly mathematical concepts (Stan Romanek), people awakening in their beds at 3 am with mysterious self healing scars and sometimes even wearing the wrong clothes.

Over the decades we have been provided with multiple reports of abductees being shown strange, humanoid babies and asked to hold these babies and to show them affection. Hundreds - if not thousands - of women have told stories of missing fetuses and phantom pregnancies. Male abductees have told us of face to face encounters with apparently alien-human children and sometimes even encountering a dead relative. What exactly is going on here? Why are abductees seeing all of the different types of beings; Grays, Nordics and Mantids with these hybrid children? At first glance these reports and the pieces of evidence seem chaotic, fragmented and random but upon closer observation there is a pattern and a repeating logic. Indeed, there appears to be a hierarchy of personnel involved in the hybrid project with each holding a unique function or purpose. Let's take a look at the hierarchy based upon the evidence and testimony to date in order to better understand who is behind this hybridization program.

If we take a look at the Hybrid Program Sphere of Influence schematic (above) we can see the "Who's Who" onion layers and gain a better understanding of the overall hierarchy as seen from our human perspective. The inner core of the onion represents the least amount of power or influence. The outer layers represent the greatest power and control and likewise each outward layer represents an increase in the ability to traverse time and space in the cosmos.

• Super Conscious Beings - Advanced beings from other realms with limitless influence/control.
• Tall Grays - Transhumans with ultra technology directing the hybrid program.
• Mantids - Insect like beings possessing ultra technology working with the Tall Grays.
• Good Dead - Deceased humans with access to ultra technology and time space movement.
• Blondes - Human like beings with ultra technology participating within the hybrid program
• Reptilians - Beings possibly of Clade Dinosauria origin possessing ultra technology
• Hybrid Humans - Composite beings who are the end result of the hybrid program
• MILAB - Military humans with high knowledge and the ability to move about the solar system  
• Abductees - Interact with higher beings and occasionally leave Earth and/or visit other dimensions
• Dark Dead - Earth bound deceased humans who have limited abilities over the population.
• Population - All ordinary Earth humans who typically have little or no knowledge of higher beings.

 Breakdown of the Hierarchy

You and I are at the center of the diagram - the core of the sphere of influence. We, the Human Population, have very little influence over those beings in higher levels and generally have zero physical mobility into space. The general knowledge level of ET activity and other realms is in it's lowest state here.

The next level we refer to as the Dark Dead which is comprised of humans who are deceased and no longer have a physical body and yet they have not progressed into higher dimensions. Though they are Earth bound, the dark dead see more of reality and what is hidden from the living according to Strieber's visitor in his book The Key.

Abductees have experiences both conscious and unconscious involving traveling aboard craft away from the confines of Earth and in some cases have access to high level information directly from beings in the higher levels of the sphere of influence. Thus, abductees have greater mobility than the general population and a higher level of awareness of reality. Abductees can and do affect the general population below them.

Whereas abductees may or may not be conscious during their CE4 interactions, we have independent reports of military personnel who are very much conscious and involved with not only the abductees but the higher level beings themselves and thus have great mobility on the Earth and off. These people are behind the so called military abductions and are generally referred to as MILAB. They have been witnessed extensively by many individuals and well described by Whitley Strieber and AJ among others. They have control of abductees aboard craft and on the planet's surface. Though these MILAB beings are likely human, they are far removed from the normal lifestyle and daily routine of surface bound humans. What they know and are capable of we can only speculate.

One level above our charming military group are Human Hybrids who are reported to live off world but within our solar system. They have access to advanced technology and are telepathic. Though currently living off world, we have reports of human hybrids visiting incognito in safe areas of populated cities in order to acclimate themselves for future interaction with the population. Human hybrids have a great deal of influence over all levels beneath them and are themselves the reason for this entire program.

The elusive Reptilians have access to ultra technology and are telepathic. It is possible they are humanoid beings of Clade Dinosauria origins and are the result of an earlier hybrid program far in the past on Earth. Their interaction with us now is evidence of the ability to move outside of time and space through extremely advanced technologies. It is reported the Reptilians are playing a role in the hybridization program although their contribution of DNA does not seem to hold the priority of that of the Tall Gray DNA within the hybrid beings. However, we the Population simply don't know the full extent of the hybrid program which could be far more vast and complex than we can imagine at this time.

The Blondes or Nordic beings have been seen aboard UFOs on many occasions and have a very close physical appearance to human beings. They also possess advanced technology and are highly telepathic. Their role in the hybrid program is uncertain however CE4 eyewitness "AJ" reports encountering a Blonde being with large eyes and thinner blonde hair, suggesting he might have been a Gray-Blonde Hybrid.

Residing one level higher than the Blondes are the Good Dead. This group consists of deceased humans who have moved onto another realm of existence. We place human souls on this level assuming they have all knowledge of physics and events of all the levels lower than them and - being free of a physical body - likely have greater  quantum mobility throughout the cosmos than the incarnate. Deceased relatives are frequently seen aboard craft by CE4 witnesses.

Also seen by CE4 eyewitnesses quite often are the Mantid type beings. These beings are humanoid and usually bipedal having a torso, two arms, two legs and two eyes but are certainly based upon insect evolution, evident from their appearance. Here they are placed on the same hierarchical level as that of the Tall Grays as they are often reported to be as emotionless as the Grays and very active in clinical procedures with patients. Interestingly, like the Tall Grays and their subordinate Small Gray drones, David Huggins witnessed smaller Praying Mantis type drones working in tandem with the Small Gray drones. CE4 abductee AJ reports seeing several beings who appeared to be the possible genetic combination of  Tall Gray and Mantid genetics.

The Tall Grays appear to be the initiators of the human hybrid program and are apparently the highest level of this extremely complex program that extends outside our solar system to other worlds and possibly even other dimensions. The Tall Grays are physically active in the program both contributing their advanced genome and managing the logistics of this multidimensional endeavor.

Super Conscious Beings we place at the highest level of the hierarchy though very little is known of them. They appear to patients at times of stress or discomfort and possess great compassion and intellect. Super conscious beings might represent an extremely advanced collective that participates in an overview capacity making an audit of progress and from time to time by interacting with individuals subjected to these medical procedures.

Looking at the Hybrid Program sphere of influence from a larger perspective we can get a sense of the limited mobility into the universe we have as humans - the center of the onion. Moving outward from Earth we can see that MILAB people can move about into the solar system with the human Hybrids likely able to move about the entirety of our Milky Way Galaxy. Higher level beings such as the Blondes and Grays are likely able to move from galaxy to galaxy.

At the outer most onion layer Super Conscious Beings might have the ability to move across various dimensional planes allowing for an interconnected multiverse wherein various galaxies and universes comprised of hybridized physical beings can rendezvous on the common ground that is the interior of an alien star craft or UFO.

Why Do Hoaxers Hoax? A Difficult Question to Answer

Please, please, please, let 2014 be the year of reason, of critical thinking and common sense.

I don’t know who that was directed at in particular, whether it be an imaginary man in the sky, or my cat, but the sentiment seems to be one a good many people are expressing in their own way, in these early days of the new year.

2013 was a hallmark year for hoaxes, though that sort of depends on how you define hoax.  A good many of the stories that circulated social networks last year fell under the general definition of hoax, but while erroneous and apparently maliciously false stories may seem more common now, in the information age, pulling the wool over people’s eyes is most definitely not a new thing.

From academia to popular culture, there is no shortage of people trying to get one over on the general public, and while a lengthy examination of the hundreds of hoaxes that have been pulled off over the years, some more successful than others, would be both interesting and entertaining, I want to take the time to look at the one aspect of the hoaxing trend that seems to defy definition: why?

When you consider some classical hoaxes, from the Piltdown Man, or Orson Wells’ War of Worlds radio show, there seem to be obvious motivators that the perpetrators clung to in their planning and execution.  Whether malicious in nature or purely innocent, these scenarios have typically been born of a desire to make the punch line stick.  Of the two examples given above, whomever the hoaxer of the Piltdown bone fragments actually was, it seems clear that the intention was to ridicule and embarrass the paleontological scholars involved in examining the found materials.  Orson Wells however, had innocent intentions; he simply wanted to entertain and, perhaps, took his good humour a little far (though some suggest that the real hoax is that the ensuing panic never actually happened, or is that yet another hoax?).  In the end though, in both cases the purpose seems to have been to get a good laugh on the part of the hoaxer.

Perhaps it’s our distance from these hoaxes that makes them seem humorous or charming, but even more recent events have their charm, to a point.

2009’s Balloon Boy hoax is a good example of a hoax that not only went too far, but also defies any attempt to reason through their motivations.  Why do what they did?  The obvious answer is to achieve that 15 minutes of fame to which we’re each entitled.  But is that hollow recognition really the primary motivator for hoaxing?

There is always, and probably always will be a financial aspect to this kind of trickery.  Many modern day hoaxes are attached to marketing schemes and viral campaigns for popular media and movies, capitalizing on the public’s ever present appetite for scandal and gossip, but this isn’t always the case, is it?

Recently there have been a number of high profile hoaxes in the Fortean world, from cryptozoology to OOPARTS or, if I may coin a term, xenoarchaeology.  I’ve covered a number of these stories in the past, from Melba Ketchum’s Bigfoot DNA debacle, to the Ted Litton / Megalograptus hoax, and there are more to come.  One of the things that can be said about Ketchum, is that she really seems to believe her own BS, which may be a feature of her own deluded rationalizations, and when compared to say, Rick Dyer’s new Bigfoot body extravaganza, how much credit should we give these people for believing in, or feigning belief in their own stories?

Really though, this all boils down to lying.  Why do we lie?  Although the perpetrators of some or all of the hoaxes listed above might argue that they aren’t lying, I think we can all agree that hoaxes are really just the elaborate products of simple lies.

To answer that question – why do we lie? – one must first look at how prevalent lying really is in our society.  According to a study published in the Journal of Basic and Applied Psychology by psychologist Robert Feldman of the University of Massachusetts, lying is a reflexive defense of our self-esteem.

“It’s tied in with self-esteem,” says Feldman. “We find that as soon as people feel that their self-esteem is threatened, they immediately begin to lie at higher levels.”

Feldman says that in his study 60 percent of participants lied at least once during a 10 minute conversation.  The majority of participants, denied having said anything untruthful, and were genuinely surprised when video footage was replayed.  Feldman says that lying is, at this level, a subconscious reflex used to maintain self-esteem, not only from the perspective of others but from themselves as well.

So, we do it to make ourselves feel better about ourselves, and this would suggest that it is the result of feelings of inadequacy, both in our own eyes and in the eyes of others.  This makes sense, at least as it relates to small, so-called white lies.  Small untruths that have little impact on our lives or on the lives of those around us, but does the depth of the lie relate to the depth of inadequacy?  It may to a point, but it seems that bigger lies are the result of a misjudgement of the likelihood that the liar will be caught.

University of New England’s associate professor of philosophy, David Smith PhD, says that lying is a perfectly natural part of human society, and that there are generally six reasons why people lie:

1. To Save Face
2. To Shift Blame
3. To Avoid Confrontation
4. To Get One’s Own way
5. To Be Nice
6. To Make One Feel Better About Themselves

So, where on this list would the hoaxer fit?  With a good many hoaxes, there’s a certain level of anonymity at play.  Many who perpetrate hoaxes are never exposed, and as such it’s unlikely that saving face or avoiding blame have any real impact on their motives.  Depending on your view of the situation, it could be said that hoaxers are going out of their way to find confrontation, albeit in a detached manner, and they certainly seem to be getting their own way, though nice rarely has anything to do with it.

Ultimately, from this list, it would have to be that they’re attempting to boost their own self-esteem, but I would suggest that this list is inadequate to answer our question.  It certainly seems like, with most hoaxes, that the people involved are trying to bolster their own self-esteem by lording such falsities over the heads of the public, at least those in the public who entertain such things, so as to feel superior to those who weren’t capable of “seeing the truth” as it were.  It seems more than a lie, it seems a manipulation of people’s beliefs and fears in some cases.  It seems a feature of the anti-establishment movement and a method for pushing misinformation into the discussion for the purpose of derailing productive discourse.  It seems political and self-serving and deleterious, and if we look at individual hoaxes, we can see elements of all of the above, but it doesn’t seem like any of them can be considered the one true culprit.

Our society, that is the internet society we’ve built over the last two decades, has in it certain mechanisms for rewarding such conspiratorial behaviour.  Why do they hoax?  Because they can, and they can get away with it, even if people like me search them out and expose them, and there is a very specific reason for that:

People in general are ready to believe, they are ready to accept that there is more to this world than meets the eye, and they actively seek out information that supports their desire to be mystified. In years past it was the side-show, the magician, the mesmerist who satisfied that craving, today it’s paranormal gurus, cryptozoologists and spiritualists who answer the call.  The problem is that the boring establishment, the entity that most in the effected community feel the need to rebel against, has no position on such topics, beyond the accusation of pseudoscience.  So those who provide answers, whether those answers are based in fact or not, are rewarded with adoration and fame, however undeserved it may be.

And so we’ve come full circle.  Is it empty fame, money, or a boost to one’s self-esteem?  I would say it’s all three, and a combination of all of the other factors discussed therein.  The only weapon we have against it is an insatiable desire for truth – clean, bare truth – and the means to find it among the detritus.  Those who wish to believe will continue to do so, and those who wish to exploit that belief will also go on with their hoaxes.

The Russian Screws: Proof of Ancient Aliens?

I recently brought you the story of the Klerksdorp Spheres, which turned out to be a little misleading, that is if you believed the more credulous among us.  Those spheres belong to a category of pseudo-archaeology called Out-of-Place-Artefacts.  If you read the aforementioned post, you know that they aren’t so much out-of-place as misidentified.  I’m not sure the same can be said for the following.

The story is a little complicated, so bear with me.  It’s said that over a period of three years (1991-1993) Russian gold prospectors sought precious metals in the eastern Ural Mountains, along the rivers Narada, Kozim, and Balbanyu.  Apparently, these unnamed prospectors found something quite remarkable while digging for gold.

Fitting in nicely with the Klerksdorp Spheres, what they found is another example of an out-of-place-artefact (or artefacts as, again, is the case), namely the Russian Screws, or the Narada River Spiral Objects, or Ice-age Nanotechnology.  There is little agreement over the name of these objects, but there is agreement over what they apparently mean, and we’ll get to that in a moment.

What was found is, apparently, several examples of small – very small in some cases – metal objects, often resembling spiral screws or springs, made of copper, tungsten and molybdenum.   What they were made of wasn’t readily apparent, but close inspection revealed some interesting things.  These screws or spirals measured from 3cm (1.2 in) to 0.003mm (1/10,000 of an inch), rightly microscopic.  One wonders how they were even spotted in the first place.  They appear to be manufactured, and in most cases are so finely tooled that most believe their existence required technology on par with our modern manufacturing abilities.  Those involved often cite current nanotechnology being developed for microscopic electronics and medical therapies as an analog.

Investigation of these weird objects was undertaken by the Central Scientific Research Institute for Geology and Prospecting for Precious and Non-ferrous Metals, also known by the acronym ZNIGRI, in Moscow, Russia.  A report from ZNIGRI tells, apparently, that the objects were found 1-1.7 metres deep, within a layer of gravel and detritus, which was composed of material from various sources, geologically.

The objects were dated, by association of their depth in the riverbed, to between 10,000 and 100,000 years ago. Placing their origin somewhere within the Pleistocene era (which immediately preceded the current era, known as Holocene).  Most accounts suggest that the objects are 20,000 years old.

The ZNIGRI report in question, titled No. 18/485, draws the conclusion, from apparently exhaustive testing, that “the age of the deposit (the riverbed) and the results of the tests give a very low probability to the assumption that the origin of these unusual, thread-shaped tungsten crystals is of a technogenic (sic) cosmic nature, due to the rocket take-off route from the Plesetsk space-station over the polar part of the Ural region.”[1] Now, if you’re wondering exactly what that means, you’re not alone.

One Mr. Hartwig Hausdorf, German author and Travel Industry mogul, suggests in his book Wenn Goetter Gott Spielen (1997) – translated as If Gods Play God [Our Evolution Came from Space and the Creation Was Programmed], or alternately When Godlike Gods Play – that the above explanation means precisely this: “these objects cannot have originated from earlier test rockets or similar fired from Plesetsk.”  And therefore they must be evidence of an extraterrestrial presence in the area of the eastern Urals approximately 20,000 years ago.  Hausdorf uses the above mentioned report as ammunition to fire at potential skeptic detractors, using the conclusion that the objects are unlikely to have come from old rockets being fired overhead (from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome) as evidence for an altogether different argument.

“The key word of the report comes finally to the point: The data obtained allow the possibility of an extra-terrestrial technogenic origin.

In view of these conclusions, critics will find it very difficult to accuse me of pseudo-documentation or embarrassing behaviour.”

I do not agree, as you may already have picked up.  The above noted report notwithstanding, eliminating a single possibility, an inconclusive position at best anyway, does not support the validity of any other possibility in-and-of-itself.  Though, as with the Klerksdorp Spheres, there is a bigger problem at play here.

All of the above information comes from several articles across a number of websites, the most relevant being an abstract of Hausdorf’s book from Rense.com by Arthur Neuman.  Another important one is an article from BeforeItsNews.com titled Anomalous Archaeological Artefacts, which covers several other weird objects as well.  If you happen to look into this story though, you’ll notice something striking, almost right away.  All of the websites that offer information on this topic give an almost verbatim retelling of the story from either of the above websites.  And all of them, Rense.com and BeforeItsNews.com included, cite the following URL as their source: http://home.fireplug.net/~rshand/streams/science/ (excluding the bits taken directly from Hausdorf.)

Home.fireplug.net no longer exists, unfortunately, so whatever they intended us to see is now unavailable. However, in lieu of this, one can start looking a little closer at the details of the story, and I have some bad news for you…

Not only can I find no record (online) of the study, identified above as ZNIGRI Report No 18/485, but as far as I can tell, ZNIGRI itself, or the Central Scientific Research Institute for Geology and Prospecting for Precious and Non-ferrous Metals, doesn’t exist[2], and neither, apparently, do the aforementioned rivers[3] (unless they are either local or regional names not known internationally, or are too small to be listed in online resources).  This is by no means conclusive in itself either, but these failings of the original information give more than ample cause to question whether any of the above is factual.

We know that the spiral objects exist, as there are photographs showing them quite clearly.  Though this, of course, says nothing about where or when they were found, or how they were made and by whom.  As a result of the online source material being unavailable, we are forced to put our faith in Hausdorf, who by his own admission, isn’t exactly trusted as an impartial source of information on these topics by the skeptical or scientific community.

Though the word rests gently on the tip of my tongue, I hesitate to say that the case of the Ice-Age Nanotechnology is an outright hoax, but it seems clear that the situation is at best unsettled and at worst a complete mystery.

At this point I’ll offer a little unsolicited commentary on this apparent trend.  Is there no journalistic integrity in the greater paranormal community?  Are we so desperate for page views and internet fame that we’ll latch onto any sensational story in the name of contrarianism or alternative history?  Trusting that the blogger/writer before us did their due diligence and not only sought the truth of the matter, but also that what they found was the truth.  A decent researcher can find almost anything on the internet, whole books have been transcribed and uploaded for ease of use.  If you can’t find the original source, look for supporting information to back up the claim.  If there is none, tell your readers the truth of it.

Confirmation bias is a growing problem in the online world.  If you look for a particular view, to back up your own, you’re likely to find it.  But that doesn’t mean that your view is correct.  Exposing the truth of these tales does not, contrary to many complaints, harm or diminish one’s sense of mystery.  In fact, I believe it enhances it, by clearing the table of the chaff, of the mundane and bogus, allowing us to focus on the real mysteries of this world.  It may seem, of late, that my focus has shifted from paranormal interests, to skeptical interest, but I assure you, I love the weird as much as I ever did, and while I’m disappointed to find so many people accepting stories like the above uncritically and without that proverbial grain of salt, I will continue to bring you all the strangeness I can find, but I will present the truth, as best as I can find it.

Having said all of that, I cordially and sincerely invite you to offer any information you might have on any of the issues pointed out above.  Does ZNIGRI really exist, but maybe under a different name?  Did I miss a listing of the rivers involved?  Is the original report available somewhere, maybe in hard copy? (I know Hausdorf offers to send a copy to anyone for the cost of shipping, but I was thinking of independent sources like libraries etc.)  Let me, and anyone who happens to read this know about it!

The Russian Screws: The Mystery Continues (Part two of two)

It’s been nagging at me since I posted the counterpart to this post less than eight hours ago, that I may have dismissed the issue of the Russian Screws with a might too much haste and enthusiasm.

After intensive search online, through Russian language websites, search engines and wiki pages, I am, maddeningly, no closer to an answer.  While it seems that others, though only a few, have come to the same conclusion that I did in what I’ll now call part one of this two part saga, all attempts to verify the information contained in Hartwig Hausdorf’s book Wenn Goetter Gott Spielen have hit dead ends.

It turns out though, that Hausdorf misreported or mistranslated the original Russian in his source material.  The research organization he identified as ZNIGRI or the Central Scientific Research Institute for Geology and Prospecting for Precious and Non-ferrous Metals, is actually TsNIGRI, or The Federal State Unitary Enterprise – Central Research Geological Exploration Institute of Nonferrous and Precious Metals[1], which operates under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation.

This organization is responsible for “…the forecast, the search for, evaluation, exploration, advanced technology exploration, processing and analysis of ores diamonds, gold, silver, platinum, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, cobalt, monitoring of mineral resources, geological and economic evaluation deposits of mineral raw materials situation.”[2]

So, at least that part of Hausdorf’s story seems to be legitimate, if not confusing and difficult to verify.

TsNIGRI oversees or controls two journals, National Geology, which was founded in 1933 and is a scientific or industry periodical that publishes articles and commentary on the theoretical aspects of geology, and Ores & Metals, which was founded in 1992 for the “rapid dissemination of information and the creation of an information base for fundamental research in the field of ore deposits and their geological structure and mineral resources.”

Unfortunately, while these journals are archived online through the Russian language E-Library, a searchable database of literally millions of Russian scientific publications and individual articles, I can find no mention of the Narandan Spiral Artefacts (or Narandan Metal Fasteners, as a Russian language wikipedia.org entry calls them, or even through any other variation of the several names that have come up in this research) through either of the mentioned publications, or any other.

Hausdorf mentions two researchers by name in his book, as originally cited in part one from Arthur Neuman’s Rense.com article, a Dr. Valerii Ouvarov and Scientific Assistant Mme. Dr. E. W. Matveyeva.

Matveyeva apparently is, or was, a researcher with TsNIGRI, but all searches for him or her return results directly related to Hausdorf’s book and claims.  The same problem occurs with Ouvarov, with the exception of some obscure references to a UFO Report DVD, apparently developed by him or her.  There is also a book written by a Russian UFOlogist named Mr. Valery Uvarov titled The Pyramids.  If this is the person in question, it adds no credibility to Hausdorf’s claim.  The problem is exacerbated of course, by the apparent misspellings or transliterations of both names, alternately given as Jelena Matveev and Valery Ouvarov or Uvarov.[3]  Making the search quite difficult.

As mentioned in part one, the rivers cited, in the Ural Mountains where the supposed artefacts were found, were also not found in any listings of waterways in the area.  However, after adjusting for Hausdorf’s apparent difficulty with translating either from Russian to German, or from German to English, a spelling variation of one of the rivers returned a result for Kožim.[4]  Which is a tributary of Kosjun of the Komi Republic in Russia.  The other rivers, Narada (or Naradan) and Balbanyu are still unaccounted for, though again, this may be due to incorrect spellings.

So, all in all, it seems clear that Hausdorf’s claim that “critics will find it very difficult to accuse [him] of pseudo-documentation or embarrassing behavior” is patently wrong.  If he were trying to make this issue impossible to research, he could scarcely have done a better job.  It could be said though, that it’s not entirely his fault.

In the end, we’re left with the same problems as were mentioned in part one; none of his story can be verified.  It’s interesting to note that the Wikipedia entry for the Naradan Metal Fasteners, as mentioned above, lists Hausdorf’s book as well as two further websites – mystae.com and ufoligie.net, both of which are no longer operating – as the only sources for the entire entry.  Of further interest though, is that the only website listed on that entry that is still in operation (listed as an external link, not a source) displays a verbatim abstract of Hausdorf’s book, precisely as it appears on Rense.com.  From the dates of the web pages, it seems clear that Arthur Neuman did some copy/pasting from that earlier accounting.  And those of you who are paying attention, will find the same broken URL identified in part one listed near the very top of the page.

Well now, we’ve come full circle.  Yet we still don’t have any answers.  Are the Narada or Naradan Spirals real?  Are they 20,000 years old?  Were they examined scientifically by a Russian Federal agency, or by some crackpot UFOlogist?  Did Hausdorf make the whole thing up?  It seems obvious that something was found, there are pictures after all.  But a recurring anecdote keeps resurfacing with every dead end, and that is that there is or was some manufacturing or industrial factory located near to or upstream from the excavation area in question.  The suggestion, though completely unqualified as far as I can tell, is that these so-called artefacts are nothing more than metal wastes from some manufacturing process, carelessly dumped into the wilderness of the Ural mountains.

I can no more tell you that these things are discarded tips from mechanical pens, than I can say they’re proof of ancient alien contact.  What you can take away from all this though, is that there is no part of this story that is certain, not my view or Hausdorf’s, or any of the people who seem to have plagiarised his work.  It seems we have a genuine mystery on our hands, but I still think it’s unlikely that aliens are involved.

The Brien Foerster – Paracas Skull Fiasco UPDATED

Ica, Peru is an exciting place, if you happen to be interested in ancient cultures and archaeology.  Many old world curiosities have come out of this region of the world, like the Ica Stones for instance, and in fact, one of the most impressive collections of ancient textiles came from Ica.  That may seem quite the opposite of exciting to you, but to those of us who study such things, the findings of Peruvian archaeologist Julio C. Tello in the Paracas peninsula of the Pisco province of Ica, have been ground-breaking in terms of understanding at least one lost culture of Peru.

In 1925, Julio Tello, the father of indigenous Peruvian archaeology, felt he was close to exposing the lost Paracas culture, and after a few years in field, he finally cracked the case for the Paracas when in 1927 he uncovered a necropolis in the desert that contained 429 ancient mummy bundles.  This find proved the case for the Paracas culture, and it opened up vast avenues for research, including a study of the various patterned textiles used in the burial bundles.

The Paracas people, for whom the entire Paracas peninsula is named, inhabited the coastal region from 800 BC to 100 AD, which makes them one of the oldest known Andean cultures.  They had an aptitude for irrigation and water management, and their culture was rich in art and spiritual practices.

This is all well and good, it’s interesting but hardly headline worthy, at least not 87 years after the discovery, but there’s more to this situation than meets the eye.

The Paracas culture were one of the ancient Andean peoples who practised skeletal modification.  They would bind the heads of their infants with rope, cloth and wooden boards in order to elongate their skulls.  This was done for spiritual or religious reasons, and scholars believe it was an effort to make themselves look more like their deities.

The resulting skull shape does indeed seem otherworldly, and they’ve captured the attention of a great many Fortean researchers and Ancient Alien theorists.  World famous Ancient Aliens proponent and author David Childress has long theorised that these elongated skulls are the product of contact between extraterrestrial beings at or before the height of the Paracas culture.  He has alternately asserted that the Paracas skulls are either the result of attempts by humans to emulate these alien visitors, who may have been perceived as gods, or that they are the actual aliens.

Owner/curator of the local Paracas History Museum, Juan Navarro, has a collection of some 35 preserved examples of Paracas elongated skulls, as well as many other historical artefacts related to the Paracas culture.  The skulls are said to have a cranial capacity of 24-40% larger than a regular human skull, which some claim is evidence that their brains were bigger and they were thus more intelligent than modern humans or humans of the same era.  This is not necessarily true, but we’ll get to that.

In 2011, alternative history author Brien Foerster, and self-proclaimed expert on ancient elongated skulls, apparently convinced Navarro to allow several samples to be taken from the museum for analysis.  Hair samples, including roots, a tooth, skull bone and skin samples were taken from five different skulls and were given to the late Lloyd Pye, of the Starchild Project fame, who then allegedly passed them on to an unnamed geneticist in Texas for DNA analysis (we can only hope it wasn’t DNA Diagnostics). Well, it seems Foerster would like us all to believe he has preliminary results of that analysis in hand, and through an appearance on JustEnergyRadio, he has released some rather spurious details that on first glance seem quite intriguing, but upon closer inspection, aren’t really all that impressive.

Several bloggers who specialize in the paranormal, have published posts telling of these preliminary conclusions, claiming that the DNA offered unexpected results.  Headlines such as ‘Initial DNA analysis of Paracas elongated skulls released – with incredible result’ are giving people the wrong impression of the situation.

Foerster is claiming that mitochondrial DNA was found in at least one sample and that analysis of that DNA showed mutations that don’t conform to mutations known in humans or other animals.

“It had mtDNA (mitochondrial DNA) with mutations unknown in any human, primate, or animal known so far. But a few fragments I was able to sequence from this sample indicate that if these mutations will hold we are dealing with a new human-like creature, very distant from Homo sapiens, Neanderthals and Denisovans.”

What does that mean?

Not much really.  At best it’s inconclusive.  The DNA would be identified as human, but with anomalies; anomalies that could be caused by any number of contaminants or procedural flaws.  It could be that this DNA really does provide unusual results, but the only thing that can be said of it at this point is that it requires further study.  The sensational release of unconfirmed and unverifiable information such as this on a radio show, is not worthy of the attention this story is receiving.

The problems don’t stop there, though.

Who is doing this analysis and where/when can we expect peer-reviewed publication of these results?  Foerster isn’t telling, which sends up a huge red flag.  In the quote above, Foerster refers to himself as doing the “sequencing”.  Is this a slip of the tongue?  He’s definitely not a geneticist.  Secondary to this is the way in which he has “released” these findings, which is reminiscent of Melba Ketchum’s Bigfoot debacle of 2012.  This is not the way science is done, though some might argue that he is not a scientist, and not much argument would be found in response.

Some people are buying into what seems to amount to Foerster’s latest effort to sell books, without really thinking about the situation critically.  The Paracas elongated skulls are strange, but the features people like Foerster and Childress hold out as evidence that they have an other-worldly origin doesn’t really hold up to close scrutiny.

There are fossilized skulls of a race of proto-humans called the Boskop Man.  They were found near a small town in South Africa of the same name, and these skulls sparked a heated debate among anthropologists and archaeologists when they were presented in 1913.  They were given as evidence for a species of human that had a significantly larger brain and therefore greater intelligence than contemporary species.  The Boskop skulls offered a cranial capacity of 40-50% larger than any other known humanoid species, but it’s been demonstrated that this doesn’t necessarily equate to greater intelligence.  More isn’t always more.

The Paracas skulls, aside from looking strange, are anatomically identical to regular skulls, and since we know how and why their culture undertook skeletal modification, it seems credulous to inject conspiracy where none exists to begin with.

Where ever you see this story posted in the next couple weeks, be sure to ask how the poster verified the information Foerster is offering.

UPDATE:

As mentioned above, at the time of writing Brien Foerster hadn’t publicly identified the Texas geneticist that was processing these DNA samples, but Sharon Hill over at Doubtful News, along with some other sleuths, have determined that it is indeed Melba Ketchum of DNA Diagnostics who is performing the analysis.  This information places this story squarely into the ‘seriously sketchy’ category, if it wasn’t there already.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE:

This story is turning into a circus over at Doubtful News, as Foerster has threatened legal action against Sharon Hill (who used this post as the basis for hers), and has now directly denied the involvement of Melba Ketchum…sort of.  He says he is working with her on this project, but that she didn’t work on the samples in question.

On top of everything, it’s been suggested that he may have violated international import/export laws, or at the very least Peruvian export laws, which require credentialed permits to remove any kind of archaeological material from the country.  It appears Foerster had no such permit, though this is as yet unconfirmed.

Vladislav is er zeker van dat het gebied rond zijn woning en de top van het Bytkha-gebergte nabij Sotsji door buitenaardsen worden gebruikt als een poort tussen werelden. Hij heeft al honderden UFO's vastgelegd. Lokale stammen zagen het gebied honderden jaren als heilig.

De Oebychen meenden dat het Bytkha-gebergte een heilige plaats is. Ze hebben er een heiligdom gebouwd. Mensen voelen er een andere energie, een energie die je elders niet kunt voelen, aldus Vladislav.

Hij hoopt dat Sotsji op een dag niet alleen een olympische stad, maar ook een centrum voor UFO-toerisme wordt.

Avec les Mochicas, nous touchons l'une des cultures péruviennes les plus importantes. Paracas est une péninsule désertique située dans la Province de Pisco dans la région de l'Inca, sur la côte sud du Pérou. On s'y rend pour ses îlots, pour son havre écologique, ses pingouins et les célèbres lignes de Nazca. Mais c'est aussi ici que le grand archéologue péruvien, Julio Tello, avait fait une découverte étonnante en 1928 : un cimetière contenant des tombes remplies des restes de personnes avec des crânes allongés, une des découvertes les plus mystérieuses de la planète. Au total, Tello avait trouvé plus de 300 crânes allongés, censés remonter à environ 3 000 ans. Une analyse ADN vient d'être réalisée sur l'un des crânes retrouvés par Julio Tello. Brien Foerster, expert chargé de cette analyse a publié ses informations préliminaires concernant ces crânes énigmatiques. 

Les crânes de Paracas seraient ainsi différents des crânes allongés recensés ailleurs en Amérique latine. Le volume crânien serait jusqu'à 25 % plus grand et plus lourd que les crânes humains classiques, ce qui signifie qu'ils ne pourraient pas avoir été intentionnellement déformés par le biais de liaison/aplatissement de la tête comme on le pratique dans certaines tribus amazoniennes. Ils contiendraient également une seule plaque pariétale, plutôt que deux. Le fait que les caractéristiques de ces crânes ne soient pas le résultat de la déformation crânienne signifie que la cause de l'allongement reste obscure.

 

M. Juan Navarro, propriétaire et directeur du musée local d'histoire de Paracas, qui abrite une collection de 35 des crânes de Paracas, avait autorisé l'année dernière le prélèvement d'échantillons de cinq de ces crânes. Les échantillons étaient constitués de cheveux, y compris des racines, une dent, des os de crâne et de la peau, et ce processus a été soigneusement enregistré de manière scientifique par des photos et des vidéos. Des échantillons de trois crânes ont ensuite été envoyés à l'analyse, mais le généticien n'avait pas eu connaissance de ce qu'il devait rechercher, pour ne pas favoriser les idées préconçues. 

Les résultats de l'analyse de l'ADN de l'un des crânes sont maintenant de retour, et Brien Foerster, auteur de plus de dix ouvrages et expert sur les crânes allongés d'Amérique du Sud, vient de livrer à la communauté scientifique un véritable scoop. La conclusion des analyses effectuées est sans appel : l'ADN mitochondrial de ces crânes présente des mutations inconnues sur n'importe quel homme, primate ou animaux recensés à ce jour. Quelques fragments, séquencés de cet échantillon indiquent que si ces mutations se confirment, nous avons à faire à une nouvelle créature humanoïde, très éloignée de l'Homo sapiens, des Néandertaliens et des hominidés de Denisova.

 

Les implications d'une telle découverte sont évidemment énormes, le généticien ajoutant « Je ne suis pas sûr qu'il rentre même dans l'arbre évolutionnaire connu ». Il a ajouté que si les individus de Paracas étaient si biologiquement différents, ils n'auraient pas pu se croiser avec les humains. Le résultat de cette analyse ne constitue qu'une première phase d'autres expérimentations qui doivent avoir lieu bientôt et se poursuivre.

The Russian Mystery Holes

A strange phenomena is happening in some Russian forests. People are finding strange, deep holes.

They appear in the dense forest, in the places you can’t get on the car or truck to bring any device to drill the ground. There is no soil nearby that should be taken from such deep hole.

When people are brave enough to venture into the holes, they find that they end abruptly in the darkness. There are no any reasonable ideas on how these holes appear and what they are being used for. No one knows who or what is digging these holes or why.

I had taken my dog outside to have a cigar and about halfway through my cigar, I started to notice flickers and flashes of light in both crescent shapes and orbs.
There was cloud cover but no thunderstorms. The light seemed to be both in the clouds at times, and also under the clouds. This did not even loosely resemble lightning.
As I watched this very lengthy light show, I was aware of a passing car. My dog then began to get unnerved and looked in the same direction as I was looking.
As the car came closer down the road, across the street I noticed a pair of eyes as if an animal’s eyes were reflecting in the light, except they were a deep purple/indigo.
As the car passed, I watched the spot where I had observed the eyes, and was shocked to see a whitish humanoid shape stand up and quickly walk into the neighbouring yard across the street.
My heart began to race and I became quite unnerved. I called my wife outside and told her what I’d seen and asked her to look at the lights in the sky as well.
She confirmed that something was flickering/flashing in multiple spots. We both got very nervous and came inside the house. As I write this, my heart is still pounding in my chest.
All through this episode the dog also was alert and cautiously raising and lowering her head, as she watched something more that we couldn’t see across the street. Also, I heard a jet pretty low with a loud roaring sound afterwards.

Nazis and Antarctica

In 1938, the Third Reich claimed New Swabia in Antarctica.  The vessel called “Schwabenland” just before the outbreak of WWII,, headed into western Antarctica.  This was done under the auspices of “securing Germany's whaling industry.”  This seemed feasible, given the fact that much could be manufactured from whales including nitroglycerin, margarine, and mechanical lubricants.

It was also apparently their goal to build a base there for operations, but the war broke out and much of these hopes were put on the backburner, but legends persist.The most persistent of those legends is that the Nazis reverse engineered a UFO that crashed in Germany.  This legend says that the Germans took a lot of their important people, scientists and even concentration camp occupants to Antarctica to begin a secret base called “New Berlin.” This legend gets even more boastful that there are 2 million citizens of this secret base there today.

Because of the stray UFO reports in the Antarctica area, even more excitement exists that such a thing is possible. (I'm not quite sure why popular culture likes the idea of the Nazis still being around unless it's just a desire to beat their asses twice.)  In 1976, the Japanese reported 19 round objects that dove into the water near Antarctica on their radar screens, reportedly.

Supposedly adding credence to this concept was an interview done with a spy,  Angel Alcazar de Velasco at his home near Madrid in 1998 before he passed on. He admitted that, not only did the Nazis have UFO technology, but that today's UFOs were attributed not to outer space, but to the Nazi ones from Antarctica.

In this interesting article, it discusses the 2012 legend that when Lake Vostok (large freshwater lake found under Antarctica) the Russians who discovered it might have also seen a huge golden swastica there, feeding the legend the Nazis went underground.

“It is thought that towards the end of the Second World War, the Nazis moved to the South Pole and started constructing a base at Lake Vostok. In 1943, Grand Admiral Karl Dontiz was quoted saying “Germany's submarine fleet is proud that it created an unassailable fortress for the Fuehrer on the other end of the world,” in Antarctica. According to German naval archives, months after Germany surrendered to the Allies in April, 1945, the German submarine U-530 arrived at the South Pole from the Port of Kiel. Crewmembers constructed an ice cave and supposedly stored several boxes of relics from the Third Reich, including Hitler’s secret files.

It is also rumored that later the submarine U-977 delivered the remains of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun to Antarctica for DNA cloning purposes. The subs then entered the Argentinean port of Mar-del-Plata and surrendered to authorities.”

With an ongoing popular UFO conspiracy legend that Asia and America have fought UFOs over Antarctica repeatedly, it adds fuel to the fire. Isn't the easiest conspiracy to perpetuate the one that is hardest to disprove? With few folks poking around Antarctica to see what's up and almost no eye witnesses out there staring at the skies, this belief just grows with time.

The legends persist and with the remoteness and unknown territory of Antarctica, it seems feasible that something could be hidden there and there is no creepier threat than Nazis out of time and place defying the odds. I expect we will see lots of future “insider witness” reports upcoming and a regular feed on this subject because of the high weird factor and exotic and magical attributes.

Het verhaal van de nepmaansteen

Er is altijd veel te doen geweest rond de maanlandingen. Zijn we er echt geweest? Hebben astronauten maansteen mee teruggenomen naar de aarde?

Op onze vraag of mensen echt op de maan zijn geweest hebben inmiddels 18.414 mensen antwoord gegeven. Meer dan een derde van de stemmers denkt dat Neil Armstrong de eerste was die in 1969 voet op de maan zette.

Volgens een kwart van de respondenten zijn de maanlandingen een hoax. Een vijfde denkt dat de mens wel echt op de maan is geland, maar niet in 1969. De rest twijfelt.

Versteend stukje hout

Mensen houden er heel wat verschillende denkbeelden op na. Uit recent onderzoek is bijvoorbeeld gebleken dat een kwart van alle Amerikanen niet weet dat de aarde om de zon draait.

Er worden nog altijd veel vragen gesteld bij de beelden die zijn gemaakt tijdens de maanlandingen. Ook voorwerpen die afkomstig zouden zijn van de maan, blijken geregeld een aardse herkomst te hebben.

In 2009 werd bijvoorbeeld ontdekt dat de maansteen die de Nederlandse oud-premier Willem Drees in 1969 van de Amerikaanse ambassade had gekregen, nep was. Het ging om een versteend stukje hout. Onderzoekers begonnen argwaan te krijgen toen ze de steen op een expositie in het Rijksmuseum zagen.

Een select groepje wetenschappers was al een jaar op de hoogte van de vervalsing. Drees kreeg te horen dat de steen afkomstig was van de 21 kilogram gesteente die door de eerste astronauten op de maan was verzameld. Meer dan 100 bevriende naties kregen in 1969 en de jaren zeventig een paar gram maansteen.

Zoekgeraakt

Onderzoekers kregen toestemming om een schilfer van de maanklomp te beitelen. Het fragment werd onder een microscoop en een spectroscoop gelegd, toen de houtcellen zichtbaar werden.

Al snel werd de vraag gesteld waarom de Amerikaanse regering Nederland had afgescheept met een nepsteen. Na de ontdekking werd de tentoonstelling in het Rijksmuseum met een maand verlengd.

Enkele weken na de ontdekking bleek dat een groot deel van de verzamelde brokjes steen die door de regering van de toenmalige president Richard Nixon aan bevriende landen werden uitgedeeld, was zoekgeraakt. De NASA noch het Amerikaanse ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken had bijgehouden aan wie de stenen waren geschonken. Het grootste deel van het maansteen en –gruis wordt achter slot en grendel gehouden.

Second CA. Witness Reports Military Was Chasing Orb UFO

A California witness at an Orange County beach reported watching what appeared to be a military jet chasing a sphere-shaped UFO about midnight on February 15, 2014, according to testimony in Case 54101 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

Witnesses in California and Missouri reported similar incidents occurred on February 11, 2014, where the military was apparently chasing a UFO. See Military chasing UFOs? Witnesses in two states file reports. The description of the California object in the earlier case was also described as orb-like and occurred just four days earlier in nearby Anaheim.

This latest case witness was sitting in a vehicle at the beach when the sound of a jet was heard.

“Heard a loud jet noise approaching,” the witness stated. “I got out of the car to see.”

The witness then noticed a military jet in the near distance.

“A loud military jet was going south to north about 500 feet high and one-half mile out from coast.”

But then the witness noticed something in front of the jet.

"Saw a white orb or sphere in front of the jet. It (the jet) seemed to be chasing the light. Clear night, no fog, as I thought the light might be a headlight from the jet? Pretty sure the jet was chasing the light though."

No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on February 16, 2014. Orange County, CA, has a population of 3,010,232. The county is famous for its tourism, including Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm, and has several beaches along its more than 40 miles of coastline.

California has a UFO Alert Rating of 3 with a high number of recent reports nationally. California had 102 reports during January 2014 - the highest reporting state in the nation.

ALIEN CRAFT SPOTTED FROM A COMMERCIAL FLIGHT TO CALIFORNIA

FEBURARY 4, 2014    …..     FLIGHT BETWEEN TENNESSEE AND CALIFORNIA

 I was on a commercial airline flight from Tennessee to Southern California on February 4, 2014. I was looking out of the port-side windows, observing the blanket of cloud cover. I then saw a black object moving in roughly the opposite direction of the aircraft I was in. The object was flying a bit higher, but within a few hundred feet of the altitude of my aircraft.  We had reached cruising altitude, which for a domestic flight may have been approximately 20,000 feet. I estimate the object’s distance as approximately 1,000-2,000 yards away from the aircraft I was in.  The objects shape was rounded; not a sphere, but with width and height that were approximately the same length. The object had rounded details that protruded both from the sides and from top to bottom. The object was very dark black in color.  At first glance I thought the object was another plane moving the opposite direction. As I continued observing the object I saw that it was moving at a pace that was unusual.  It was at that time I also mentally noted the objects black color and unconventional shape. It was moving in a very straight line at a fast pace, one that did not seem at all consistent with a commercial or known military aircraft. The pace of the object surprised me and made me observe it more closely.  At this time, after observing the object for less than 10 seconds, I looked down at my phone briefly, for only a second or two. I then looked immediately back to where the object had been and it was nowhere to be seen.  When I had looked down, the object was not about to pass behind my place and out of sight. I was startled to see that the object was no longer in the sky, and leaned forward to look out of the window farther towards the front of the airplane, where I could look farther behind us.
