Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

In 1938, the Third Reich claimed New Swabia in Antarctica. The vessel called “Schwabenland” just before the outbreak of WWII,, headed into western Antarctica. This was done under the auspices of “securing Germany's whaling industry.” This seemed feasible, given the fact that much could be manufactured from whales including nitroglycerin, margarine, and mechanical lubricants.
It was also apparently their goal to build a base there for operations, but the war broke out and much of these hopes were put on the backburner, but legends persist.The most persistent of those legends is that the Nazis reverse engineered a UFO that crashed in Germany. This legend says that the Germans took a lot of their important people, scientists and even concentration camp occupants to Antarctica to begin a secret base called “New Berlin.” This legend gets even more boastful that there are 2 million citizens of this secret base there today.
Because of the stray UFO reports in the Antarctica area, even more excitement exists that such a thing is possible. (I'm not quite sure why popular culture likes the idea of the Nazis still being around unless it's just a desire to beat their asses twice.) In 1976, the Japanese reported 19 round objects that dove into the water near Antarctica on their radar screens, reportedly.
Supposedly adding credence to this concept was an interview done with a spy, Angel Alcazar de Velasco at his home near Madrid in 1998 before he passed on. He admitted that, not only did the Nazis have UFO technology, but that today's UFOs were attributed not to outer space, but to the Nazi ones from Antarctica.
In this interesting article, it discusses the 2012 legend that when Lake Vostok (large freshwater lake found under Antarctica) the Russians who discovered it might have also seen a huge golden swastica there, feeding the legend the Nazis went underground.
“It is thought that towards the end of the Second World War, the Nazis moved to the South Pole and started constructing a base at Lake Vostok. In 1943, Grand Admiral Karl Dontiz was quoted saying “Germany's submarine fleet is proud that it created an unassailable fortress for the Fuehrer on the other end of the world,” in Antarctica.According to German naval archives, months after Germany surrendered to the Allies in April, 1945, the German submarine U-530 arrived at the South Pole from the Port of Kiel. Crewmembers constructed an ice cave and supposedly stored several boxes of relics from the Third Reich, including Hitler’s secret files.
It is also rumored that later the submarine U-977 delivered the remains of Adolf Hitler and Eva Braun to Antarctica for DNA cloning purposes.The subs then entered the Argentinean port of Mar-del-Plata and surrendered to authorities.”
With an ongoing popular UFO conspiracy legend that Asia and America have fought UFOs over Antarctica repeatedly, it adds fuel to the fire. Isn't the easiest conspiracy to perpetuate the one that is hardest to disprove? With few folks poking around Antarctica to see what's up and almost no eye witnesses out there staring at the skies, this belief just grows with time.
The legends persist and with the remoteness and unknown territory of Antarctica, it seems feasible that something could be hidden there and there is no creepier threat than Nazis out of time and place defying the odds. I expect we will see lots of future “insider witness” reports upcoming and a regular feed on this subject because of the high weird factor and exotic and magical attributes.

Volgens een kwart van de respondenten zijn de maanlandingen een hoax. Een vijfde denkt dat de mens wel echt op de maan is geland, maar niet in 1969. De rest twijfelt.
Versteend stukje hout
Mensen houden er heel wat verschillende denkbeelden op na. Uit recent onderzoek is bijvoorbeeld gebleken dat een kwart van alle Amerikanen niet weet dat de aarde om de zon draait.
Er worden nog altijd veel vragen gesteld bij de beelden die zijn gemaakt tijdens de maanlandingen. Ook voorwerpen die afkomstig zouden zijn van de maan, blijken geregeld een aardse herkomst te hebben.
In 2009 werd bijvoorbeeld ontdekt dat de maansteen die de Nederlandse oud-premier Willem Drees in 1969 van de Amerikaanse ambassade had gekregen, nep was. Het ging om een versteend stukje hout. Onderzoekers begonnen argwaan te krijgen toen ze de steen op een expositie in het Rijksmuseum zagen.
Een select groepje wetenschappers was al een jaar op de hoogte van de vervalsing. Drees kreeg te horen dat de steen afkomstig was van de 21 kilogram gesteente die door de eerste astronauten op de maan was verzameld. Meer dan 100 bevriende naties kregen in 1969 en de jaren zeventig een paar gram maansteen.
Zoekgeraakt
Onderzoekers kregen toestemming om een schilfer van de maanklomp te beitelen. Het fragment werd onder een microscoop en een spectroscoop gelegd, toen de houtcellen zichtbaar werden.
Al snel werd de vraag gesteld waarom de Amerikaanse regering Nederland had afgescheept met een nepsteen. Na de ontdekking werd de tentoonstelling in het Rijksmuseum met een maand verlengd.
Enkele weken na de ontdekking bleek dat een groot deel van de verzamelde brokjes steen die door de regering van de toenmalige president Richard Nixon aan bevriende landen werden uitgedeeld, was zoekgeraakt. De NASA noch het Amerikaanse ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken had bijgehouden aan wie de stenen waren geschonken. Het grootste deel van het maansteen en –gruis wordt achter slot en grendel gehouden.

A California witness at an Orange County beach reported watching what appeared to be a military jet chasing a sphere-shaped UFO about midnight on February 15, 2014, according to testimony in Case 54101 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
Witnesses in California and Missouri reported similar incidents occurred on February 11, 2014, where the military was apparently chasing a UFO. See Military chasing UFOs? Witnesses in two states file reports. The description of the California object in the earlier case was also described as orb-like and occurred just four days earlier in nearby Anaheim.
This latest case witness was sitting in a vehicle at the beach when the sound of a jet was heard.
“Heard a loud jet noise approaching,” the witness stated. “I got out of the car to see.”
The witness then noticed a military jet in the near distance.
“A loud military jet was going south to north about 500 feet high and one-half mile out from coast.”
But then the witness noticed something in front of the jet.
"Saw a white orb or sphere in front of the jet. It (the jet) seemed to be chasing the light. Clear night, no fog, as I thought the light might be a headlight from the jet? Pretty sure the jet was chasing the light though."
No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on February 16, 2014. Orange County, CA, has a population of 3,010,232. The county is famous for its tourism, including Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm, and has several beaches along its more than 40 miles of coastline.
California has a UFO Alert Rating of 3 with a high number of recent reports nationally. California had 102 reports during January 2014 - the highest reporting state in the nation.

FEBURARY 4, 2014 ….. FLIGHT BETWEEN TENNESSEE AND CALIFORNIA
I was on a commercial airline flight from Tennessee to Southern California on February 4, 2014. I was looking out of the port-side windows, observing the blanket of cloud cover. I then saw a black object moving in roughly the opposite direction of the aircraft I was in. The object was flying a bit higher, but within a few hundred feet of the altitude of my aircraft. We had reached cruising altitude, which for a domestic flight may have been approximately 20,000 feet. I estimate the object’s distance as approximately 1,000-2,000 yards away from the aircraft I was in. The objects shape was rounded; not a sphere, but with width and height that were approximately the same length. The object had rounded details that protruded both from the sides and from top to bottom. The object was very dark black in color. At first glance I thought the object was another plane moving the opposite direction. As I continued observing the object I saw that it was moving at a pace that was unusual. It was at that time I also mentally noted the objects black color and unconventional shape. It was moving in a very straight line at a fast pace, one that did not seem at all consistent with a commercial or known military aircraft. The pace of the object surprised me and made me observe it more closely. At this time, after observing the object for less than 10 seconds, I looked down at my phone briefly, for only a second or two. I then looked immediately back to where the object had been and it was nowhere to be seen. When I had looked down, the object was not about to pass behind my place and out of sight. I was startled to see that the object was no longer in the sky, and leaned forward to look out of the window farther towards the front of the airplane, where I could look farther behind us. Greensburg Pa Ufologist John Ventre has landed the lead role in the History Channels new series “Hangar 1”. The show will air Fridays at 10 PM after “Ancient Aliens”. Ventre said, “I got the Giorgio role only without the hair for obvious reasons”. Ventre is referring to Giorgio Tsoukalos with the Einstein hair from Ancient Aliens. Ventre is the Pennsylvania Director for the Mutual UFO Network, author of five books and the retired state Security and Public Affairs Director for UPS.
In the area of cinema, 60 years ago was the release of the movie “War of the Worlds”. This is actually a significant movie since the Brookings Institute and our Government based its policy regarding UFOs on the panic that followed the original Orson Wells Panic Broadcast on radio in 1938. The policies regarding the implications of extraterrestrial contact are that we cannot tell the public the truth regarding ETs out of fear of riots and a breakdown of the religious and scientific communities. My guess is that it has more to do with the control of technology.
Twenty years ago, we had another cinematic anniversary with the pilot of the TV show, the “X-Files”. This show featured two FBI agents investigating bizarre events with an underlying conspiracy as one agent was a believer and the other a semi skeptic. The X-Files also influenced a generation of baby boomers as did “Star Trek” almost 30 years prior to the “X-Files”. In the UFO genre, it appears that a classic show comes around every 20-30 years. We now have the MUFON based TV series on History channel’s H2 station entitled “Hangar 1” premiering on February 28 2014.

Bold Prediction: Intelligent Alien Life Could Be Found by 2040
The first detection of intelligent extraterrestrial life will likely come within the next quarter-century, a prominent alien hunter predicts.
By 2040 or so, astronomers will have scanned enough star systems to give themselves a great shot of discovering alien-produced electromagnetic signals, said Seth Shostak of the seti (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute in Mountain View, Calif.
“I think we’ll find E.T. within two dozen years using these sorts of experiments,” Shostak said here Thursday (Feb. 6) during a talk at the 2014 NASAInnovative Advanced Concepts (NIAC) symposium at Stanford University. [13 Ways to Hunt Intelligent Alien Life]
“Instead of looking at a few thousand star systems, which is the tally so far, we will have looked at maybe a million star systems” 24 years from now, Shostak said. “A million might be the right number to find something.”
Many potentially habitable worlds
Shostak’s optimism is based partly on observations by NASA’s planet-hunting Kepler space telescope, which has shown that the Milky Way galaxy likely teems with worlds capable of supporting life as we know it.
“The bottom line is, like one in five stars has at least one planet where life might spring up,” Shostak said. “That’s a fantastically large percentage. That means in our galaxy, there’s on the order of tens of billions of Earth-like worlds.”
Shostak and his colleagues think at least some of these worlds host intelligent aliens — beings that have developed the capability to send electromagnetic signals out into the cosmos, as human civilization does every second of every day. So they’re pointing big radio dishes toward the heavens, hoping to detect something produced by living beings.
This search started in 1960, when pioneering astronomer Frank Drake scanned two sun-like stars with an 85-foot-wide (26 meters) West Virginia antenna. It has ramped up considerably over the past half-century, as astronomers have taken advantage of significant advances in electronics and digital technology.
However, getting enough funding to keep scanning the skies is a constant problem. For example, the Allen Telescope Array in northern California — which the seti Institute uses — was designed to consist of 350 radio dishes, but just 42 have been built to date. And the array had to go into hibernation in April 2011 due to budget shortfalls. (It came back online in December of that year after more funding was found.)
The funding situation colors any discussion of seti activities and timelines, Shostak said.
The 24-year estimate, for example, “depends on continued seti funding, which is in dire straits right now,” he told Space.com after his talk at the NIAC symposium.
A three-way race to find life in space
The search for alien life does not focus solely on technological societies, of course. Many other scientists are keying in on simple life forms, which must be distributed much more commonly throughout the universe.
The first evidence of microbial life on Earth, for instance, dates from 3.8 billion years ago — just 700 million years after our planet formed. But it took another 1.7 billion years for multicellular life to evolve. Humans didn’t emerge until 200,000 years ago, and we’ve become a truly technological species in just the last century or so.
Shostak thus views the alien life hunt as a three-way race. The contenders are researchers looking for advanced, intelligent civilizations; scientists scouring solar-system bodies such as Mars and Jupiter’s moon Europa for simple organisms; and researchersfocusing on finding signs of microbial life on nearby exoplanets using future instruments such as NASA’s $8.8 billion James Webb Space Telescope, which is scheduled to launch in 2018.
The race may come down to the wire, as Shostak thinks all three approaches could bear fruit in the next few decades.

Alien implants is a term used in Ufology to describe a physical object placed in someone’s body after they have been abducted by aliens. Claimed capabilities of the implants range from telepresence to mind control to biotelemetry (the latter akin to humans tagging wild animals for study). As with UFO subjects in general, the idea of “alien implants” has seen very little attention from mainstream scientists.
According to Peter Rogerson writing in Magonia magazine, the concept of alien implants can be traced to a March 1957 Long John Nebel radio show interview with UFOlogist John Robinson where Robinson recounted a neighbor’s claim of being kidnapped by aliens in 1938 and kept subdued by “small earphones” placed behind his ears.
Massachusetts resident Betty Andreasson claimed that aliens had implanted a device in her nose during her supposed alien abduction in 1967, first publicized by Raymond Fowler in his book, The Andreasson Affair. A Canadian woman named Dorothy Wallis claimed a similar experience in 1983. In later years, the claims of authors like Whitley Streiber would popularize alien abduction ideas in general, including reports of unusual “implants” associated with abductions. Dr. John E. Mack wrote in his book Abduction: Human Encounters With Aliens that he examined a “1/2- to 3/4-inch thin, wiry object” given to him by a twenty-four-year-old woman client who claimed it came out of her nose following an abduction experience. California podiatrist Roger Leir also claims to have removed alien implants from patients.
Roger K. Leir is a podiatrist and ufologist best known as an investigator of alien implants. Leir has appeared on TV and talk radio programs devoted to ufology.
Leir says he’s removed about a dozen implants from people’s bodies and claims they are devices that “emit radio signals.” Leir alleges that implants have moved by themselves during surgery as if to avoid removal. Leir says that laboratory testing of the implants imply they are of extraterrestrial origin.
June 6th, 1998 - Investigative journalist Linda Moulton Howe brought a witness under the pseudonym AGENT KEWPER on the radio show Coast to Coast AM. The witness claimed that through his military service, he had acquired knowledge and first hand experience with extraterrestrials and their technologies. Immediately after this report, AGENT KEWPER was warned to cease and desist all contact with Linda Moulton Howe, or to suffer the consequences.
Fifteen years later, and fearing the end was near, the witness emerged from the shadows and was once again ready to tell his extraordinary story. Due to the warning received about speaking with Linda Moulton Howe, we arranged for the UFO historian Richard Dolan to conduct the interview. This is part of that story.

TheFederal Bureau of Investigation broke its silence about a memo, dated March 22, 1950, addressed to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover from FBIAgent Guy Hottel about UFOs in Roswell, N.M., in 947.
The one-page memo detailed information from an official investigator for the U.S. Air Force. The FBI document is online with other UFO reports at: http://vault.fbi.gov/UFO. Here is what Agent Hottel, who was head of the field office in Washington, D.C., reported to the FBI director:
“An investigator for the Air Force stated that three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico. They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter. Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed fliers and test pilots.
“According to Mr. (edited out) informant, the saucers were found in New Mexico due to the fact that the Government has a very high-powered radar set-up in that area and it is believed the radar interferes with the controlling mechanism of the saucers. No further evaluation was attempted by (edited out) concerning the above.”
Was this “investigator for the Air Force” fabricating this story? Did the FBI agent fail to include in his report that someone else had told this story to the investigator, as critics claim? The memo said nothing about second-hand information.
For some people, the fact that this story was reported by an FBI official to the FBI director and was not immediately disregarded as utter nonsense, but instead became classified information, gives some credence to the claim that something out of the ordinary had happened.
It seems astonishing that on the day the Air Force discovered the debris, with enough time to examine the materials, they would issue a national press release stating that a flying saucer had been captured and offered photos of soldiers examining a metallic-looking object. Then at a press conference later that same day in Ft. Worth, Texas, the Air Force suddenly recanted the entire story, announcing instead that the debris was simply pieces of a weatherballoon.
A few days later, on July 9, 947, the Roswell Daily Chronicle interviewed W.W. “Mac” Brazel, the rancher who first found the wreckage. A frustrated Brazel was quoted as saying, “I am sure what I found was not any weather observation balloon. But if I find anything else besides a bomb they are going to have a hard time getting me to say anything about it.”
Years later, a number of government officials close to the case came forward to tell stories of their participation in an alleged cover-up of the Roswellincident. Although the FBI may or may not have been interested in looking into the Air Force investigator’s claims, a July 1950 FBI statement made it clear that, “The jurisdiction and responsibility for investigating flying saucers have been assumed by the United States Air Force. Information received in this matter is immediately turned over to the Air Force, and the FBI does not attempt to investigate these reports or evaluate the information furnished.”
The Roswellincident took place during a rash of sightings of unexplained flying objects reported across the country. But after the “balloon” crash — from 947 to 1954 — the FBI worked with the Air Force on documenting all UFO sightings nationwide. Many of these reports are now available to the public on the FBI’s new electronic reading room, “The Vault.”
To set the record straight, however, this one-page report is not a newly released document. A retired U.S. Navy optical physicist named Bruce Maccabee, who is also an investigator of UFO photographs and visual evidence, had obtained the Hottel memo from the FBI in 1977, through the Freedom of Information Act, and wrote about it in his book, “UFO-FBI Connection,” released in 2000!
So why is this FBI-UFO story appearing in newspapers across the country as if it was recently released? According to the FBI, when they launched their redesigned electronic reading room in April 2011, “some media outlets noticed Agent Hottel’s memo and erroneously reported that the FBI had posted proof of a UFO crash at Roswell, New Mexico and the recovery of wreckage and alien corpses.”
The results? That one-page document is again making news for becoming the most popular file in The Vault, with nearly a million views in two years. But here’s another result: People can’t help but wonder how numerous military and FBI activities could be launched by the crashing of a simple weather balloon? Why would any government official close to the case insist there is more to the story than the public knows and suggest the government is hiding something? Why are some things about this case still classified?
Yes, the truth is out there. But, like many unidentified flying objects, the truth appears and reappears, until someone is brave enough and honest enough to identify it, and if necessary, fight for it. Most people, however, cannot handle the truth.

Thousands of Airline Pilots Witness UFOs
It is an ongoing experience Airline pilots see unidentified flying objects but very few report it because of ridicule.
According to the National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena, (NARCAP) there have been over 3,500 documented sightings of “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena” by military, commercial, and civilian pilots. But Captain Jim Courant, a commercial pilot for over 31 years, says there are many more sightings that are just not reported.
“It is almost astounding how many people are in the know on this subject,” he said, speaking before the Citizens Hearing on Disclosure at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on May 3.
Courant has been researching and studying the phenomena of UFOs for years. He has collected over 3,000 books on UFOs and extraterrestrials, and hosted a television series on the issue titled “New Perspectives” which ran for three years.
He still flies for a commercial airline and because of his exposure on television has became known as an authority on UFO’s and extraterrestrial encounters.He has been contacted, and still is, by many commercial airline and military pilots who are happy to discuss their UFO’s encounters privately but do not want to talk publicly, fearing ridicule and in some cases retaliation.
“They are afraid,” not so much about their status or their retirement benefits, but “they are more afraid for their families,” he said.
He described the experience of one pilot who was flying a 747 over the Pacific in 980, when he came across a UFOin front of him.
“You won’t believe what we saw,” the pilot had said, according to Courant. “This thing was bigger than a 747.”
Courant said the pilot told him that when he got to his destination in Japan, he “was debriefed and told never to talk about it again.”
Courant told the hearing about his own encounter with a UFO. In 1995, he was flying near Albuquerque, New Mexico, when he and his co-pilot saw a blue green oval shape approaching from the left. “In a flash of burning white light, the object suddenly shot up at a 45 degree angle,” he told the hearing.
Four other pilots reported to the air traffic control tower that they had also seen the object.
“One pilot said it must have been a meteor,” Courant recounted, adding, “I got on and said ‘Since when does a meteor go back up?’”
When asked about his co-pilot’s reaction in a telephone conversation following the Disclosure hearing, Courant said, “He refused to discuss it and has never flown with me again.”
Courant said pilots have reported seeing a variety of craft that appear suddenly and move at speeds impossible with present technology. Reports include cigar-shaped craft, triangular craft, and some that are the size of an aircraft carrier or larger.
He says airline pilots are “very serious in their profession” and not likely to make exaggerations.
The website NARCAP, co-founded in 1999 by Dr. Richard F. Haines, a recognized specialist in UFOs and a former Chief Scientist at NASA’s Ames Research Center, has been effective at documenting sightings, but Courant says more needs to be done.
UFO sightings are only “the tip of the iceberg” in terms of what has been experienced and what is known about extraterrestrials, he said.
“There are certain things I have been privy to, but I can’t get into that here,” he told the hearing.
Courant said it was time for the United States government to come clean with what its agencies have documented and learned through decades of extraterrestrial encounters.
Airline pilots know what they have seen, he said, and should be able to talk about it without fear of ridicule.

CASE DESCRIPTION: Boy 1 and Boy 2, both 14 year old school friends, play in Boy 1’s garden at home. Boy 1 looks up and points at a flying object and wonders what it is. Boy 2 sees it, but first thinks nothing of it. Boy 1 convinces Boy 2 to run up to the balcony of Boy 1’s upper floor room in order to look at it closer. As it disappears into a local forest, the boys run up, grabbing pocket camera (Boy 1) and binoculars (Boy 2). Once on the balcony, the object discribed reappears from the forest and silently glides over the roof of Boy 1’s house and disappears into the night. The boy’s spend the evening searching the sky for other ships.

Without warning, an exact replica of the silent object that appeared in Partille appears flying over a tree right opposite Boy 1’s room. The boys watch it disappear and spend the next half hour walking the lawn outside trying to find signs of the object.

The current “urban drought” – a result of supply restrictions aimed at recovering reserves as well as accidental pipe leakage – leads us to pay closer attention to Lake Musters and examine any particularities concerning water volume, evaporation, flow and distribution through one of the country's most complex aqueduct systems. The beautiful lake and its surroundings have again become the focus of attention, but this time on account of a strange unidentified flying object.
This alleged “UFO” appeared in the sights of tyro photographer's camera. An avid observer of the Patagonian landscape and quick to capture its natural beauty, he was startled to look through his viewfinder to see an odd object suspended in the air, looking quite different from the clouds or accidental solar reflections.
The photograph was taken last Monday at 4:00 in the afternoon, when several young people from Sarmiento were enjoying a warm afternoon at the lake's edge – a relaxed afternoon that ended almost abruptly upon seen the recorded image, desiring to download it to a unit with a wider screen to see exactly what it was.
While efforts at taking a second photo were made shortly after the first, when [the photographer] tried to focus on the strange object, it was no longer in the area — that is to say, suspended over Cerro Silva and seen from the southern sector of the lake to the northeast or even more graphically, from the Fishing Club's beach area toward the water supply that fills our blessed and ancient aqueduct.
It should be added that while such a faithful and clear photo as this one had not been taken in recent years, many residents of Sarmiento have seen large objects over the lake, moving at unusually high speeds, although generally at night, according to reports.

A New Mexico witness driving eastbound along I-10 about 15 miles outside of Deming reported a “white, blimp-like orb” object that both hovered and then suddenly moved at high speeds, according to February 13, 2014, testimony in Case 54041 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
After noticing the odd-looking object on February 11, 2014, the witness pulled into a gas station for about 20 minutes to get a better look.
“It never moved an inch,” the witness stated. “Hard to tell how high or far it was.”
The witness was with a friend who was driving and they got back onto the highway, but continued to watch the object.
“About 15 minutes later, after leaving the gas station, it ascended a good 500 feet or so and started moving east while slightly changing shapes. It moved along with our car, maybe two miles from us, and after about eight minutes, it stopped above a mountain and stayed there until we finally lost sight by driving close to Las Cruces, NM.”
The witness tried to rule out known objects.
“The skies were clear so it wasn't hard to notice an object standing still in the sky. I first thought it was an airplane, helicopter, or blimp. But it is impossible for any human made aircraft to stand perfectly still for that long and then suddenly start moving at 75 mph along with our car. I got excited when I first saw it, but then when it moved, I didn't expect it, so it freaked me out. I started seeing purple spots in my vision and feeling light headed in a scared way. I think that's just me though from anxiety. Lost sight as we approached Las Cruces and the sun started falling.”
No images or videos of the object were included with the report, which was filed on February 13, 2014. Deming is a city in Luna County, NM, population 14,855. New Mexico has a UFO Alert Rating of 5 with a lower number of recent reports nationally. New Mexico was the 25th highest reporting state with 7 reports in January 2014 - while California had 102 reports - the highest reporting state in the nation.

I saw four disks in the clear sky. I took a very clear photo of what I witnessed. I was on the 10th floor of a tall office building when I walked out on the balcony to look at some unusual clouds.
I was on an interview and was immediately called back in, but not before I could take a picture. I didn't look at the picture until later that day when I remembered how strange it was.
I looked at it closely and DID NOT alter it at all. I showed a few friends and family members and the feedback was all the same.
Nobody could explain it at all! I'm completely baffled and really would like some answers to this strange sighting.
The objects looked like disks with a hole in the center. One was extremely large. (Maybe the size of a Walmart store).
The other three around it were much smaller but in a triangular formation and slightly above the larger one.
AN EXTRAORDINARY "hyperspace" engine that could make interstellar space travel a reality by flying into other dimensions is being investigated by the United States government.
The hypothetical device, which has been outlined in principle but is based on a controversial theory about the fabric of the universe, could potentially allow a spacecraft to travel to Mars in three hours and journey to a star 11 light years away in just 80 days, according to a report in today's New Scientist magazine.
The theoretical engine works by creating an intense magnetic field that, according to ideas first developed by the late scientist Burkhard Heim in the 1950s, would produce a gravitational field and result in thrust for a spacecraft.
Also, if a large enough magnetic field was created, the craft would slip into a different dimension, where the speed of light is faster, allowing incredible speeds to be reached. Switching off the magnetic field would result in the engine reappearing in our current dimension.
The US air force has expressed an interest in the idea and scientists working for the American Department of Energy - which has a device known as the Z Machine that could generate the kind of magnetic fields required to drive the engine - say they may carry out a test if the theory withstands further scrutiny.
Professor Jochem Hauser, one of the scientists who put forward the idea, told The Scotsman that if everything went well a working engine could be tested in about five years.
However, Prof Hauser, a physicist at the Applied Sciences University in Salzgitter, Germany, and a former chief of aerodynamics at the European Space Agency, cautioned it was based on a highly controversial theory that would require a significant change in the current understanding of the laws of physics.
"It would be amazing. I have been working on propulsion systems for quite a while and it would be the most amazing thing. The benefits would be almost unlimited," he said.
"But this thing is not around the corner; we first have to prove the basic science is correct and there are quite a few physicists who have a different opinion.
"It's our job to prove we are right and we are working on that."
He said the engine would enable spaceships to travel to different solar systems. "If the theory is correct then this is not science fiction, it is science fact," Prof Hauser said.
"NASA have contacted me and next week I'm going to see someone from the [US] air force to talk about it further, but it is at a very early stage. I think the best-case scenario would be within the next five years [to build a test device] if the technology works."
The US authorities' attention was attracted after Prof Hauser and an Austrian colleague, Walter Droscher, wrote a paper called "Guidelines for a space propulsion device based on Heim's quantum theory".

Earth-sized planets can support life at least ten times further away from stars than previously thought, according to academics at the University of Aberdeen.
A new paper published in Planetary and Space Science claims cold rocky planets previously considered uninhabitable may actually be able to support life beneath the surface.
The team, which included academics from the University of St Andrews, challenge the traditional ‘habitable zone’ – i.e. the area of space around a star, or sun, which can support life – by taking into consideration life living deep below the ground.
“The traditional habitable zone is also known as the Goldilocks zone,” explains PhD student Sean McMahon. “A planet needs to be not too close to its sun but also not too far away for liquid water to persist, rather than boiling or freezing, on the surface.
“But that theory fails to take into account life that can exist beneath a planet’s surface. As you get deeper below a planet’s surface, the temperature increases, and once you get down to a temperature where liquid water can exist – life can exist there too.”
The team created a computer model that estimates the temperature below the surface of a planet of a given size, at a given distance from its star.
“The deepest known life on Earth is 5.3 km below the surface, but there may well be life even 10 km deep in places on Earth that haven’t yet been drilled.
“Using our computer model we discovered that the habitable zone for an Earth-like planet orbiting a sun-like star is about three times bigger if we include the top five kilometres below the planet surface.
“The model shows that liquid water, and as such life, could survive 5km below the Earth’s surface even if the Earth was three times further away from the sun than it is just now.
“If we go deeper, and consider the top 10 km below the Earth’s surface, then the habitable zone for an Earth-like planet is 14 times wider.”
The current habitable zone for our solar system extends out as far as Mars, but this re-drawn habitable zone would see the zone extend out further than Jupiter and Saturn. The findings also suggest that many of the so-called “rogue” planets drifting around in complete darkness could actually be habitable.
“Rocky planets a few times larger than the Earth could support liquid water at about 5 km below the surface even in interstellar space (i.e. very far away from a star), even if they have no atmosphere because the larger the planet, the more heat they generate internally.
“It has been suggested that the planet Gliese 581 d, which is 20 light years away from Earth in the constellation Libra, may be too cold for liquid water at the surface. However, our model suggests that it is very likely to be able to support liquid water less than 2 km below the surface, assuming it is Earth-like.”
The significance of the subsurface is further illustrated by another paper published by the same team which suggests there could be more life below the surface of the continents on Earth thanthere is below the seafloor.
McMahon hopes the studies will encourage other researchers to consider how life on other planets might be detected.
“The results suggest life may occur much more commonly deep within planets and moons than on their surfaces. This means it might be worth looking for signs of life outside conventional habitable zones. I hope people will study the ways in which life below the surface might reveal itself. Because it’s not unimaginable that there might be signs at the surface that life exists deep below.
“The surfaces of rocky planets and moons that we know of are nothing like Earth. They’re typically cold and barren with no atmosphere or a very thin or even corrosive atmosphere. Going below the surface protects you from a whole host of unpleasant conditions on the surface. So the subsurface habitable zone may turn out to be very important. Earth might even be unusual in having life on the surface.”
