The Filer Research Institute feels the scientific study of UFOs is for the benefit of humankind and is an important endeavor. The weekly intelligence report provides you with information on the latest sightings and UFO news that you need to understand the world situation. The purpose of these files is to report the UFO eyewitness and photo/video evidence that occurs on a daily basis around the world and in space. These Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my hypothesis is that the over a thousand UFOs reported each month represent technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I personally became interested in UFOs when London Control ordered me to intercept one over England while flying for the US Air Force. Under Project Blue Book, the US Air Force investigated UFOs for more than twenty years; and we continue this research.

 I believe the God of the universe has spread life throughout the cosmos and UFO's are visiting us in ever-increasing numbers.

Astronaut Gordon Cooper

Colonel Gordon Cooper was one of the original Mercury Seven astronauts and the last American to fly into space alone. In this testimony he recounts how he observed UFOs flying in the same formation as his fighter group over the skies of Germany. These UFOs made maneuvers that could not be done by conventional fighters. He felt they must have been extraterrestrial pilots under intelligent control to communicate with one another due to the type of maneuvers they were mimicking. At another time, while filming conventional aircraft performing precision landings a saucer flew directly overhead and landed ahead of them on a dry lakebed. The entire event was filmed including detailed close-ups. The film was sent back to Washington and never returned."

The first Americans Came from Europe?

New archaeological evidence suggests America was first discovered by Stone Age hunters from Europe. Several dozen stone tools have been found across six locations on the U.S. East Coast that are between 19,000 and 26,000 years old and were a European-style tool.

The discovery suggests that the owners of the tools arrived 10,000 years before the ancestors of the American Indians set foot in the New World. According to the now familiar story, Mongolian mammal hunters entered the continent some 12,000 years ago via a land bridge that spanned the Bering Sea. Its possible huge glaciers may have blocked their way and it is not known how they survived in an obviously hostile region.

Finding European style tools is being heralded as one of the most important archaeological breakthroughs for several decades. Archaeologists are hopeful that they will add another dimension to understanding the spread of humans across the world. Three of the sites were discovered by archaeologist Dr Darrin Lowery of the University of Delaware, while another one is in Pennsylvania and a fifth site is in Virginia. Fishermen discovered a sixth on a seabed 60 miles from the Virginian coast, which in prehistoric times would have been dry land.

In their book, Professor Dennis Stanford of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC and Professor Bruce Bradley of the University of Exeter argued that Stone Age humans were able to make the 1500 mile journey across the Atlantic ice. But the age of the newly-discovered tools are from between 26,000 and 19,000 years ago and are virtually exactly the same as western European materials from that time.

About three million square miles of the North Atlantic was covered in thick ice for all or part of the year at the peak of the Ice Age. However, beyond the ice, the lure of the open ocean began would have been extremely rich in food resources for hunters. But until now there was relatively little evidence to support their thinking.

They are presenting their theory and evidence in a book – “Across Atlantic Ice,” buoyed by the recent discovery, archaeologists are now turning to new locations in Tennessee, Maryland and even Texas, all sites which are they believe will produce more Stone Age evidence. But most of the areas where the newcomers stepped off the ice on to dry land are now up to 100 miles out to sea - along with any possible evidence. The authors are forcing us to look at the possibility of pre-Clovis occupation of the New World. The book suggests a new hypothesis to explain the origin, both technologically and geographically of the Clovis culture.

 Stanford and Bradley argue for an origin of Clovis (and pre-Clovis) technology with the Solutrean culture of France and Spain. They marshal a considerable corpus of data in support of this hypothesis from a wide variety of disciplines - paleontology, geology, geochronology and of course, archeology. They describe Clovis N.M. technology in great detail, pulling together the work of many researchers, as well as their own research.

Distinctive stone tools belonging to the Clovis culture established the presence of these early New World people. Drawing from original archaeological analysis, paleoclimatic research, and genetic studies, noted archaeologists Dennis J. Stanford and Bruce A. Bradley challenge the theories that American Indians were first to settle in America.

The authors apply rigorous scholarship to a hypothesis that places the technological antecedents of Clovis N.M. in Europe and posits that the first Americans crossed the Atlantic by boat and arrived earlier than previously thought. Supplying archaeological and oceanographic evidence to support this assertion, the book dismantles the old paradigm while persuasively linking Clovis technology with the culture of the Solutrean people who occupied France and Spain more than 20,000 years ago. The Solutrean were able to built boats and fished. There is a possibility that some of them reached the Americas, following a route along the edge of the pack ice that extended from the Atlantic coast of France to Canada during the last glacial maximum.

There is also new genetic evidence which also suggests an ancient European immigration. The so-called "Xenia clan," or Haplogroup X, is one of the seven maternal lines traceable via mitochondrial DNA, and it points to a European origin. About 3% of American Indians carry this gene. This mitochondrial DNA evidence is of genes that have diverged enough to show ancient trans-Atlantic immigration.

 One of the interesting points of their arguments involves the identification of specific, detailed similarities in the stone complexes and methods of cooking ovens. The Europeans used stone structures that are being located in North and South America. They identify one very specific technique, overshot flaking on arrowheads, as so specialized, and so restricted in time and space (it is a significant component of only two complexes, Clovis and Solutrean) that it surely evidences a close relationship between the people responsible.

The authors have a rich fabric of evidence. Michael Collins notes they've laid out the evidence, but much more needs to be done in order to test their hypothesis.

MEXICO CITY -- Scientists in Britain have identified the oldest skeleton ever found on the American continent in a discovery that raises fresh questions about the accepted theory of how the first people arrived in the New World. The skeleton's perfectly preserved skull belonged to a 26-year-old Caucasian woman who died during the last ice age on the edge of a giant prehistoric lake now occupied by the sprawling suburbs of Mexico City.

Scientists from Liverpool's John Moores University and Oxford's Research Laboratory of Archaeology have dated the skull to about 13,000 years old, making it 2,000 years older than the previous record for the continent's oldest human remains. However, the most intriguing aspect of the skull is that it is long and narrow and typically Caucasian in appearance, like the heads of white, western Europeans today.

Modern-day Native Americans, however, have short, wide skulls that are typical of their Mongoloid ancestors who are known to have crossed into America from Asia on an ice-age land bridge that had formed across the Bering Strait.  

The extreme age of Peñon woman suggests there was a much earlier migration of Caucasian-like people with long, narrow skulls across ice or water in the Atlantic Ocean. They may have come by boat, traveled over the ice or were flown.

At the extreme southern part of South America, at a dig known as Monte Verde, there is hard evidence of a human encampment from 12,500 years before present. This discovery (in 1975) was troublesome for those who believed that the Clovis point was the best evidence of the first immigrants. At Monte Verde, there is evidence of people in the south of Chile more than 30.000 years ago. These days, the evidence at Monte Verde in Chile is no longer a quirk. Similar skulls are found in Bolivia and Peru with red hair. The Bering land bridge theory is no longer adequate, long skulls are being found in Europe, China, and the Americas. In 1996, two young men found the skeleton of Kennewick Man in Washington, a state in the extreme northwest of the current United States. Kennewick Man is 9,200 years old. But Kennewick Man is not Amerindian. Identified as Caucasian, his origin is a matter of speculation.

Recently, advanced science has inquired into the nature of ancient bones discovered near Mexico City. Peñon Woman III, unearthed in 1959, is one of 27 ancient human skeletons held by the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. Radio-carbon dating tells that Peñon Woman lived 12,700 years ago. And, she's not Amerindian. Her skull shape indicates that she is not closely related to the American Indians.

There is speculation that the Peñon Woman and Kennewick man are related. On Baja Peninsula Mexico, there lived an isolated tribe of nontypical Native Americans up into the modern age. Ancient Coastal Cities found in the United States

New Warfare CHAMP

A recent weapons flight test in the Utah desert may change future warfare after the missile successfully defeated electronic targets with little to no collateral damage. Boeing and the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Directed Energy Directorate, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., successfully tested the Counter-electronics High-powered Microwave Advanced Missile Project (CHAMP) during a flight over the Utah Test and Training Range.

CHAMP, which renders electronic targets useless, is a non-kinetic alternative to traditional explosive weapons that use the energy of motion to defeat a target. AFRL Power is cut to a room of computers after being hit by a high-powered microwave pulse from a Counter-electronics High-powered Advanced Missile Project. "This technology marks a new era in modern-day warfare," said Keith Coleman, CHAMP program manager for Boeing Phantom Works. "In the near future, this technology may be used to render an enemy’s electronic and data systems useless even before the first troops or aircraft arrive." Thanks to Boeing

Vitamin D3 with sulfate Cures

 Dale Sandra Hoover writes, “I appreciate your 'Filer's Files' getting the message out regarding the Western culture's recent choice of staying out of sunshine and therefore creating massive vitamin D deficiencies with the deplorable resulting myriad physical disorders.

However and with respect, I earnestly hope you will endeavor to get the full picture of the vitamin D story. UV rays (whether from natural sunshine or UV 'tanning' light bulbs) are the only source for vitamin D3 sulfate. This sulfate form is a hugely-important distinction from just "vitamin D3" taken in a pill. The sulfate form (cholesterol sulfate, so anyone lowering their cholesterol/or shunning cholesterol foods is setting themselves up for various disorders) is what is created in the skin from the UV rays (provided one consumes plenty of sulfur-containing foods [egg yolks, onions, garlic, wine) and is the true health-builder/disorders-preventative form of vitamin D3. Also, taking vit.D3 in pill form without accompanying it with a substantial amount of vitamin K2 creates Polymyalgia (a very painful muscle-pain disorder)! Alabama White Light

COLUMBIANA – I was outside grilling and saw a very bright light that I believed it was a UFO on September 27, 2013. The object hovered and rotated a light that was white and stayed in vicinity for about three minutes before it disappeared from sight. Thanks to MUFON CMS

California UFO Lights

 Gerber -- My father was driving home from the store while I was in the passenger seat and I saw the North Star on September 17, 2013. After five minutes it got very bright and it moved slowly around. My father said, "Why is it so bright?" It hovered and flew in a curve as it got dimmer. I looked back and saw another one that was red on one side with three white lights on the other side. An hour later, we followed one that changed its path and sounded like a jet and flew slowly above us. I got my camera and took five photos to make sure it was a UFO. Thanks to MUFON CMS

EL CAJON -- We live on a hill and outside our house at 6 pm, I noticed a very bright light in the southwest sky on September 30, 2013.  At first I thought it was an airplane since we live near the San Diego International Airport, but it was too bright and stationary. I got binoculars, phone, and my son. We both observed it through the binoculars, and agreed it had an oval shape that was slightly wider on one end, with a gap between object and the tail. My wife agreed it was brighter than any star and was definitely not an airplane. We drove down our hill and observed it with binoculars for 40 minutes. It began to get dark, and the bright object was aspirin size but had no defined shape, so we figured it was very large and very far away. Thanks to MUFON CMS

... Florida Key’s Bolide

 MARATHON -- My two friends and I were sitting on the 3rd floor balcony on Tuesday night just watching the night sky and talking on August 13, 2013. Our view was over the Atlantic Ocean facing Cuba when a bright light appeared in the sky right in front of us. At first we thought it was a meteor traveling very slowly north. As it moved in an even path we saw a tail of sparks begin to form looking much like those of a welder's flame. It was a huge slow moving vehicle that flew north and as it passed it began to separate and we could see one large ship and two smaller ones following behind. There was no sound and it didn't arc like meteor. Spell bound we watched it for several minutes until it disappeared. We are convinced it was a UFO. We could see sparks trailing behind in a huge fireball that seemed to span a 100 yards. It didn’t arc and begin to fall out of the sky like a meteoroid would so we knew this was something else entirely. It separated into three “ships”. NOTE: The above image is a rendering. In 1920, Alien Craft Lands in Iowa

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Clark Linch, 75 at the time but has since died, related a story that at about 10 AM, on June 3, 1920, he saw what he believes was an extraterrestrial spacecraft landed while he was fishing on his father's farm six miles northeast of town. "I remember the year because I'd gotten married in January of 1920, and it was my birthday.” While fishing, Linch saw an egg-shaped object the size of a cream can land silently about 15-feet from his river bank perch. The object sat there for about 15 minutes, not bothering him or he bothering it. "I wasn't in any hurry to jump up and run over to it, and I'm glad I didn't. It might have killed me. Just when I thought about going over to take a closer look at it, it took off without any sound. The grass where it hit was pressed down and undamaged." Linch said, “The blue and translucent object would have been camouflaged in the sky so I've concluded that it wasn't anything from Earth." Because of the object's small size, Linch had said, "It couldn't have been occupied by intelligent life as we know it." Linch observed that his sighting differed from other UFO reports because the object he saw moved slowly, "probably about four or five miles per hour," and was small and "apparently lightweight." It took 35 years, until 1955, for Linch to tell his story to anybody. "You didn't talk about flying saucers in (1920)," he said.

 Maryland Blue Planet

 BALTIMORE -- I was lying in a hammock by the pool on a beautiful day and looked up at a small blue planet sitting next to a cloud on August 7, 2013 It moved a little sideways in one direction then the other. I took a photograph with my iPad and it was just gone.

Nevada Three Lights

Las Vegas -- I was up on top of a hill near my house watching planes talking to my uncle on the phone on the other side of town. At about 7 PM, on September 23, 2013, I saw three hovering lights in triangle form over the east side of town. They were not blinking like a plane. They hovered for five minutes when one disappeared, leaving just two bright lights. After five minutes they disappeared one after the other. I have a video of them above the orange building.

New Jersey Strange Lights UFO

OCEAN CITY -- Astrophotographer Jack Fusco witnessed something strange while in photo shooting stars in the Milky Way on August 2013. His curiosity was in the highest level when he saw bright lights appear one by one and disappear slowly in the sky. Later, authorities approached him to know about his one of a kind close encounter. Fortunately, he managed to capture images of his sighting with DSLR Camera. A few minutes later, he saw the same lights in a different spot of the sky and then a third time shortly after the second. He witnessed these lights in less than 20 seconds in each spot and they quickly disappeared.

After 35 minutes of seeing the lights, a cop car approached and the officers asked, “If he saw anything odd?” They mentioned fireworks or flares above the ocean and asked him to call if he saw anything else.  Jack posted his photos to his Facebook page and they remain a mystery. CHERRY HILL -- I am a physician, surgeon and scientist. My wife and I were leaving the Palace of Asia Indian restaurant at about 8 pm on September 25. 2013, when I looked south over the Cooper River and UFOs were in plain sight. Two other couples also observed this together. There was a circle formation of distinct yellow-orange "orbs", about 8 to 10 in a circle just hovering, no sound at all. These orbs seemed to be glowing, with a small dot of white, and a small dot of red, but overall yellow-orange. Objects were entering and leaving this circle. More would come from East to West in a line, traveling quite fast in a 45 degrees upward angle joining the circle. Objects would leave the circle and scatter randomly off into the distance and disappear. A commercial jet flew right past this circle and these orbs were about half the size of the jet. The objects moved much faster than the jet. They hovered in a circle unlike any manmade object, moved fast and stopped quickly.
Surprisingly, none of the witnesses seem to be surprised or affected emotionally. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Mexico Light

 Rio Rancho -- I saw a mysterious light over the Sandia Mountains on September 22, 2013. I first saw it at about 11 pm on the 21st, and thought it was a bright star. But by 6 am, I noticed it had become a lot brighter and could not be a star. It had not moved for over six hours. It was also witnessed by two other security officers. We used Google Sky to determine that the only thing close was Mars, but it was way too bright to be Mars. I had work to do and could not continue to observe it.

New York Disc UFO

 COHOCTON -- I was driving on Route 21and took a picture of some wind mills at 12:20 PM, and zoomed in so that I could get a larger picture on September 7, 2013. I did not see anything at the time. Later I uploaded my pictures for that day on my computer. I wanted to see how well the pictures looked. The first picture that came up was the windmills. I noticed a spot in the picture. I believe it’s a UFO. Is it a UFO?

North Carolina Stationary Object

 GREENSBORO --The objects are stationary but they move slightly depending on the time, and area. I haven’t lost sight of it since has been there for three days so far. I have lots of pictures and I need to have these photos analyzed.

Pennsylvania Light

Aliquippa -- This is the second time I saw this same object except this time I had a newer phone and was able to capture three images I was on my porch talking on the phone so I hung up the phone and took photos. This object was silent. I live twelve miles from Pittsburgh International Airport so I know these were not aircraft. I’ve seen another type of unknown thing but I wouldn’t be able to describe it. I am always looking at the sky and I’m fascinated by the unknown. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Texas Orb

seabrook – The witness says, “I was sitting at home talking on the phone with my wife and noticed a round orange sphere on September 26, 2013, that I never saw it before.” As I took out my binoculars to see it, it slowly vanished. Three minutes later it came back but this time it was red. The sky was clear; it seemed to have a long point on the end opposite of the light. Now as I am typing this it has disappeared again and planes are flying around the spot where it was last at! The object was above and to the left of a building. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Lights

Silverdale -- My husband and I were just outside to look at the almost full moon on September 18, 2013, at 9 PM, when yet again we noticed bright lights. At first there were three. Two were closer together and the third one was a few miles to the south. My husband went to get my camera as a fourth one appeared just under the two, while the other light a few miles to the south dimmed out. These two dimmed out until I was just watching one.  I started filming as the light in the south got very brilliant then another got brighter. Worldwide UFO Sightings

Australia Star

Ashfield, New South Wales -- I was playing out the back yard with my wife and son when we saw what looked like Venus at 45 degrees hovering motionless. I thought it was a balloon before realizing that it is way too high, and holding its position against a fairly consistent 20 km NE wind. It could not have been a balloon flying against the prevailing winds. It was rose colored with white luminescence before disappearing behind a mare's tail cloud.

Ten minutes later, I saw another object appear straight over head, but at roughly the same altitude. Its rose color seemed larger giving me the impression that it was closer and defying the prevailing winds. I noticed through the view finder it was quite iridescent and had a distinct glowing yellow light center. After hovering in a clear blue sky overhead it disappeared. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Canada Red Light

BARRIE -- On September 26, 2013, I was out for a walk around 12:30 AM, because I couldn't sleep. I was at the top of our park's hill and noticed a bright white/red light in the sky. At first I thought nothing of it because I often seen planes and satellites until I realized the speed that it was travelling I started to wonder if it could be a UFO. I sat down and just watched the object as it flew straight eastward for a minute. It stopped abruptly and started to ascend for a minute and vanished.

Two weeks earlier I saw a similar object that was hovering, then started to ascend and vanished. I When I was ten I was in our hot tub and saw a light travelling in my direction. I looked away for just a second and it had vanished. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Croatia Disc UFO

Zagreb -- I was on the embankment near river Sava and photographing a Ford Ranger test car on September 5, 2013. During the afternoon after I finished photographing, I checked the photos and saw an unidentified object on two of them.

On the first you can see a side of object and on this shot the object is little bigger and looks as it flying towards me slightly tilted. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Ireland Boomerang

Dublin – I went out to lock up the shed, and looked up and saw four craft flying in triangle formation with a fourth at the rear on September 1, 2013. It took about three seconds to fly from west to east and they seemed to join together and shoot off to the horizon. No sound or trails left behind. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Italy Underwater Moving Objects

Salerno -- My boyfriend and I were at the beach on a beautiful August 31, 2013, day and we were kissing on the beach and suddenly I felt that someone was watching us. My boyfriend felt a sudden headache. I was watching the sea and an in the water there was an oval light glowing six feet around. I walked to see what it was and suddenly this thing moved fast towards the horizon. We heard a strange sound like radio distortion of a whistle. I thought it was a hallucination and for a joke I said, “OK, if you are E.T. send me some message and at the horizon three beams of light were pointing out of the water at the sky. It moved from left to right going underwater and again, each beam of light seemed to rotate on itself.” All three lights seemed to rotate together. We were shocked and I cried. Portugal Flashing Lights

Gondomar -- My son was closing the bedroom window when he observed the object on September 22, 2013. It had many flashing lights so I could not see the contours. It flew horizontally and then rose up out of sight. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Puerto Rico Vanishing Dead and UFOs

Joshua Warren reports bodies are vanishing from local cemeteries in the same area as numerous UFO/alien activities are reported on the island. Forty or so corpses have disappeared from a small mountain graveyard. Locals believe something akin to a biblical resurrection is taking place. Warren suggested, “The bodies may have been taken by people who practice a dark magical rituals that requires human remains to be placed into a caldron, wrapped in chains, and fed alcohol or tobacco, he explained.” http://www.joshuapwarren.com/

Romania Star

Timioara – I was picking up my son from the bus station returning from vacation on September 1, 2013. Coming back home with my car and my son, I stopped at the traffic light I saw a strong light like star appearance. I told my son the stars beautiful and suddenly the stars were changing position and are brighter. I told my son they are helicopters. In the left side of our view were two lights on horizontal line and other three in triangle formation. The lights are becoming stronger and moved from NW to N altogether. The light changed to green and I started up as the lights are move and disappear on the sky after four minutes. I realized that are definitely not helicopters. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Serbia Sphere-Like Lights

Subotica -- At 8 PM, my husband and I saw two unidentified objects - bright orange colored, sphere-like, which were moving northeast in about 5-7 km height from ground at the distance of 15-20 km from us on September 2, 2013. We were walking our dog when I suddenly spotted those two objects gliding over the sky. Those objects were bright orange constant lights that we concluded were not aircraft. Later that evening, we heard six more people talking about the event. I can surely tell it was not a comet, asteroid or meteor. Thanks to MUFON CMS

South Africa Weird Round Cloud

Sasolburg Free State – On September 29, 2013, I spotted a weird round-like cloud in the sky. It was almost a perfect circle and the disappeared after a while. Thanks to MUFON CMS

UK/England Three Blue Lights

Newcastle -- On September 29, 2013, while coming home with my partner in his brother's car from Wallsend I was in the rear passenger seat looking out of the window when I observed three blue orbs flying together in a vertical line pulsating slowly. I was not sure what I was looking at but when I was able to focus on its shape it faded out. It could only have been in my view for a few seconds before it was gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Hoewel het project de naam Iceworm droeg, startte het leger een tweede onderzoeksproject met de naam Camp Century om de aandacht af te leiden. Ingenieurs bouwden een ondergronds netwerk van gebouwen en tunnels, waaronder woningen, een ziekenhuis, laboratoria, een communicatiecentrum en een kerncentrale. Uit een geheim rapport dat in 2010 in handen van The New York Times kwam blijkt dat Amerika na de oorlog een groot aantal nazi’s onderdak heeft geboden, waaronder raketwetenschapper Arthur Rudolph. De CIA regelde voor hen verblijfspapieren en een baan. Manhattanproject Het Manhattanproject was de naam van de zeer geheime operatie waarmee de VS tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog de atoombom ontwikkelde. Couple 'attacked by UFO' at Brown Mountain

A strange newspaper story has emerged detailing an alleged attack on a couple by an unidentified object.

The story originates from an Asheville newspaper clipping posted to the web page of paranormal investigator Thomas Byers. According to the report, a couple had been visiting Brown Mountain in North Carolina in an attempt to catch a glimpse of the mysterious ghost lights that have been sighted there over the years.

After watching and waiting for two hours the couple finally saw some lights to the west, but rather than sitting back to enjoy the spectacle the pair were instead confronted with a strange flying object that headed towards them and actually bumped in to the top of their car.

The bizarre tale goes on to claim that as the couple attempted to drive away the object held the vehicle in place, preventing their escape. During the struggle, the object allegedly hit the roof with such force that the back window smashed and the car was crushed by about eight inches.

While there's little to corroborate this story so far, on his web page Byers has reported seeing a local Cable News Station Channel 12 broadcast detailing the incident and which included footage of the damage sustained by the vehicle.

It's possible that more information will surface on this one in the coming days.

Military magazine highlights Iranian air force encounters with UFOs

The Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) has reportedly used F-14A Tomcats to intercept UFOs for decades.

An article in the October 2013 issue of the military aviation magazine Combat Aircraft Monthly details the history of the Tomcat aircraft in the IRIAF. Near the end of the article, a section titled “UFO hunters” describes that F-14s have been used by the air force during the last twenty years to “intercept foreign and unknown aircraft.”

The article explains that, when Iran’s nuclear program was revealed, the U.S. used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to gather reconnaissance from nuclear facilities in the fall of 2004. IRIAF reportedly had four F-4 and four F-14 interceptors standing by, twenty-four hours a day, because of this UAV presence. Other F-4s and F-14s were kept on alert, and some were even flown every night to monitor the area’s airspace. But some of the unidentified craft they encountered were anything but ordinary.

UFOs were spotted multiple times by both ground radar and airborne radar. According to Combat Aircraft Monthly, Iranian sources described that the UFOs “displayed astonishing flight characteristics, including an ability to fly outside the atmosphere, attain a maximum cruise speed of Mach 10, and a minimum speed of zero, with the ability to hover over the target.” These craft also reportedly emitted high levels of magnetic energy that disrupted navigation systems and jammed radars.

The article details one of these encounters where equipment was affected by a UFO:

In one case over Arak in November 2004, the crew of an F-14A armed with two AIM-9Js and two AIM-7E-4s spotted a luminous object flying near the heavy water plant of the Arak site. When the beam of the jet’s AN/AWG-9 radar “painted” the object, both the RIO and pilot saw that the radar scope was disrupted, probably due to the high magnetic energy of the object increasing the power of the reflected radar waves. The pilot described the object as being spherical, with something like a green afterburner creating a considerable amount of turbulence behind it. The Tomcat crew achieved a lock-on when it was flying a linear and constant flight path. Once the pilot selected an AIM-7E-4 to launch against it, the object increased its speed and then disappeared like a meteor.

The article also mentions a 2012 incident where an F-14 was scrambled to intercept an incoming UFO, but seconds after taking off, the F-14 exploded.

Other attempted engagements by the F-4s and F-14s proved futile, so the IRIAF reportedly ordered an end to flying missions against these “luminous objects.” Both Iran and Russia allegedly investigated these extraordinary UAVs. But following two years of research, the Iranian Army settled with the conclusion that the craft were simply U.S. intelligence drones.

No currently known aircraft has the ability to perform like the UFOs observed in Iran. NASA’s X-43A Scramjet set a new world speed record for a jet-powered aircraft–Mach 9.6, or nearly 7,000 mph–in 2004. But it does not have the capability to hover. It is a natural assumption that the U.S. military has secret aircraft and technology that is yet to be publicly acknowledged. But until such incredible technology is revealed, it is impossible to conclusively write off the UAVs in Iran as U.S. drones.

Russia Unprepared to Deal With Space Alien Invasion – Official

KRASNOZNAMENSK (Moscow region), October 2 (RIA Novosti) – A Russian military space official admitted Wednesday that the country will be powerless to act should Earth become the target of an interplanetary incursion.

Sergei Berezhnoy, an aide to the head of the Titov Space Control Center, said that Russian aerospace defense authorities have not been tasked with preparing for the contingency of an alien attack.

“There are enough problems on Earth and in near-Earth space,” Berezhnoy said in response to a reporter’s question.

The planet’s space powers are in any event limited in their scope of action for building up military capabilities beyond the Earth’s confines. Under the terms of the 1976 Outer Space Treaty, to which Russia is a signatory, states cannot place weapons of mass destruction in orbit, although conventional weapons are allowed.

The Titov Space Control Center, which is run by the Russian Aerospace Defense Forces, is the country’s primary military and commercial satellite control facility.

The facility currently operates about 80 percent of Russian orbital spacecraft.

It is not a joke, nor a hoax, nor a sign of mental instability, nor an attempt to drum up local tourism by drawing the curious, the Soviet press agency Tass insisted today in discussions of what it called an extraterrestrial visit to southern Russia.

Residents of the city of Voronezh insisted today that lanky, three-eyed extraterrestrial creatures had indeed landed in a local park and gone for a stroll and that a seemingly fantastic report about the event carried Monday by the official press agency Tass was absolutely true.

''It was not an optical illusion,'' said Lieut. Sergei A. Matveyev of the Voronezh district police station, who said in a telephone interview that he saw the landing of the U.F.O. on Sept. 27.
Lieutenant Matveyev confessed that he had not actually seen the aliens, but said he saw the spaceship and ''it was certainly a body flying in the sky,'' moving noiselessly at a very high speed and very low altitude. 'Anything Is Possible'

To be honest, Lieutenant Matveyev said, he was a little skeptical himself when he first saw the object. ''I thought I must be really tired,'' he said. ''but I rubbed my eyes and it didn't go away. Then I figured, in this day and age, anything is possible.''

Using the sensationalist tone that has lately infected the once-staid Tass, the press agency today provided more details of the U.F.O. landing in Voronezh, a city some 300 miles southeast of Moscow.
According to Tass, and a report today in the newspaper Sovetskaya Kultura, two boys and a girl from a local school, Vasya Surin, Zhenya Blinov and Yuliya Sholokhova were playing in a park on the warm evening of Sept. 27 when suddenly, at half past six,

''They saw a pink shining in the sky and then spotted a ball of deep red color'' about 10 yards in diameter.
A crowd gathered, ''and they could clearly see a hatch opening in the lower part of the ball and a humanoid in the opening.'' A Stare Silences Boy

The three-eyed creature, about nine feet tall and fashionably dressed in silvery overalls and bronze boots and with a disk on its chest, disappeared, then landed and came out for a promenade with a companion and a robot.
The aliens seemed to communicate with each other, producing the mysterious appearance of a shining triangle, and activated the robot with a touch.

Terrified, a boy began to scream, but with a stare of the alien's shining eyes, Tass said, the boy was silenced and paralyzed.

After a brief disappearance, the three returned, but this time one of the ''humanoids'' had ''what looked like a gun'' by his side, a tube about two feet long that it directed at a 16-year-old boy. The boy, whose name was not given in the report, promptly vanished, but reappeared after the alien embarked in the ball.
Vladimir A. Moiseyev, director of the regional health department, said in a telephone interview that despite reports of widespread fear in the city, none of the witnesses had applied for medical help. But he said that ''certainly we are planning to examine the children.

'' There was no explanation why, with the passing of two weeks, such an examination had not yet taken place. Report Treated Seriously.

Mr. Moiseyev, like other authorities in Voronezh, the editors of Tass, and indeed many of its readers, treated the report as a serious scientific phenomenon.

No extra men are assigned to patrol the area because the department is short-handed, said the duty officer at the local Interior Ministry department, who identified himself only by his last name, Larin, but he said troops would be dispatched ''if they appear again.''
