Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

In de afgelopen zes jaar hebben onderzoekers met behulp van de Dark Energy Camera (DECam) op de Victor M. Blanco 4-meter Telescope in Chili onder meer 300 miljoen sterrenstelsels bestudeerd en jacht gemaakt op supernovae en andere tijdelijke verschijnselen in het universum. En dat met maar één doel: meer inzicht krijgen in donkere energie (de mysterieuze drijvende kracht achter de versnelde uitdijing van het heelal).
Ontdekkingen in ons eigen zonnestelsel Maar de observaties van DECam bleken niet alleen heel geschikt voor het ontrafelen van één van de grootste mysterieus in de kosmologie. De beelden die de camera maakte, bleken onderzoekers ook in staat te stellen om jacht te maken op ons nog onbekende objecten in ons eigen zonnestelsel. Zo werd recent dankzij DECam nog een indrukwekkende komeet ontdekt: C/2014 UN271 Bernardinelli-Bernstein. De komeet gaat met een omvang van zo’n 100 kilometer de boeken in als de grootste komeet die mensen ooit hebben gespot.
817 ontdekkingen in totaal.. En de komeet is lang niet het enige object dat dankzij DECam is ontdekt. In dit onderzoeksartikel maken onderzoekers nu DECam na zes jaar gestopt is met observeren, de balans op. En wat blijkt? De camera heeft in zes jaar tijd 815 Transneptunische objecten, 1 Centaur-planetoïde en 1 Oortwolkkomeet ontdekt.
..waarvan er 416 nog niet eerder beschreven zijn De ontdekking van veel van die objecten – zoals C/2014 UN271 Bernardinelli-Bernstein – is eerder al publiekelijk gemaakt en dus niet echt nieuws. Maar dat geldt niet voor alle 817 objecten die DECam in de afgelopen zes jaar heeft ontdekt. In hun paper presenteren de onderzoekers namelijk 416 recent op beelden van DECam aangetroffen objecten waarvan de ontdekking nog niet bekend is gemaakt.
De ontdekkingstocht Aan de ontdekking van al die objecten is een behoorlijk arbeidsintensief proces voorafgegaan. Want in de wetenschap geldt: één waarneming is geen waarneming. Dus voor elk potentieel nieuw zonnestelselobject moest er gezocht worden naar aanvullend beeldmateriaal waarop datzelfde object acte de présence gaf. “We hebben een speciaal, extreem tijdrovend proces dat erop gericht is om deze objecten te vinden en waarbij we – onder honderd miljoen potentiële detecties – enkele tientallen detecties proberen aan te wijzen die bij één en hetzelfde object horen,” legde onderzoeker Pedro Bernardinelli (ontdekker van de naar hem vernoemde reuzenkomeet) eerder al aan Scientias.nl uit. Hoe arbeidsintensief dat proces is, wordt wel duidelijk als we Bernardinelli nog eens benaderen en vragen hoeveel tijd het hem gekost heeft om die laatste 416 objecten te vinden. “Ik denk dat het me een jaar gekost heeft,” zo vertelt hij. De meeste tijd ging daarbij zitten in het vinden van aanvullende beelden die de oorspronkelijke detectie konden bevestigen. “Dat duurde zo’n 9 maanden en vereiste 15 tot 20 miljoen computeruren. Gedurende die 9 maanden gebruikte ik nonstop meer dan 100 computers.”
Fantastisch resultaat Met de 416 nieuwe objecten komt het totale aantal door DECam ontdekte objecten dus op 817. Een fantastisch resultaat, zeker als je bedenkt dat DECam helemaal niet ontworpen is om nieuwe objecten in het zonnestelsel aan te wijzen. “Na de eerste verwerking van de beelden hoopten we voorzichtig dat we in totaal zo’n 500 objecten in het zonnestelsel zouden ontdekken. Dat zou al heel indrukwekkend zijn geweest.” Maar het werden er meer dan 800. “De laatste resultaten hebben ons aangenaam verrast.”
De grens is bereikt DECam is niet langer operationeel, maar zou het kunnen dat in de enorme dataset die deze heeft achtergelaten toch nog meer ons onbekende objecten schuilgaan? We vroegen het Bernardinelli. “Wij denken dat we de grens van wat met deze data mogelijk was, wel bereikt hebben en daar zijn we trots op.”
In de jacht op supernova-explosies maakte DECam tussen 2013 en 2019 elke week beelden van hetzelfde stukje van het heelal. Onderzoekers konden die beelden vervolgens naast elkaar leggen om te zoeken naar objecten buiten ons zonnestelsel waarvan de helderheid door de tijd heen verandert. Maar hoewel de focus op objecten buiten het zonnestelsel lag, was ook ons eigen zonnestelsel onderdeel van elke foto. En wanneer je maar genoeg beelden naast elkaar legt, moet het in principe mogelijk zijn om objecten te spotten die – terwijl ze hun baantjes om de zon trekken – door het gezichtsveld van DECam reizen. Zo kun je dus gewapend met beelden van DECam op jacht gaan naar nieuwe objecten aan de rand van het zonnestelsel. En hoewel die op de DECam-beelden in het gunstigste geval slechts vertegenwoordigd worden door enkele pixels licht kunnen onderzoekers daar al behoorlijk wat uit aflezen. “We kunnen de baan vaststellen,” vertelt Bernardinelli. “En uit de helderheid kunnen we aflezen hoeveel licht het object reflecteert, wat ons weer meer kan vertellen over de omvang. Ook maken we gebruik van meerdere filters, waardoor we licht in feite in verschillende kleuren zien en meer kunnen zeggen over de samenstelling van het oppervlak van deze objecten.”
Interessante exemplaren Van de meer dan 800 objecten die in de DECam-data zijn boven komen drijven, is de reuzenkomeet C/2014 UN271 volgens Bernardinelli veruit het meest interessante object. “Maar er zijn nog een paar gekke objecten,” vertelt hij. “Zo hebben we een object ontdekt dat op een afstand van 79 AU staat (Neptunus staat op 30 AU) en dat is het verste object uit het laatste deel van onze zoektocht. Dit object heeft bovendien een perihelium van 54 AU.” Het perihelium is het punt in de omloopbaan waarop het object het verst van de zon verwijderd is. En er zijn maar weinig objecten waarbij dat punt 54 keer verder van de zon verwijderd is dan de aarde. “En dan is er nog een ander interessant object met een inclinatie van 62 graden.” Dat betekent dat het omloopvlak van dit object een hoek van 62 graden maakt met het omloopvlak waarin de grote planeten cirkelen. “Daarmee heeft het object een veel grotere inclinatie dan de meeste andere objecten.”
Ze mogen dan niet allemaal even interessant zijn; waardevol zijn de meer dan 800 objecten die DECam heeft helpen ontdekken, stuk voor stuk. “De objecten die zich voorbij Neptunus bevinden zijn in de beginjaren van het zonnestelsel ontstaan en kunnen ons vertellen hoe het zonnestelsel – en dan met name de gasreuzen – ontstaan zijn.” Bernardinelli merkt daarbij op dat de objecten ingedeeld kunnen worden in verschillende populaties met elk hun eigen ontstaansgeschiedenis. “En die moeten we goed begrijpen alvorens we de vorming van het zonnestelsel kunnen reconstrueren.”
Hoe meer objecten er van de verschillende populaties ontdekt worden, hoe beter het is. Voor DECam is het doek gevallen, maar er zitten een paar interessante nieuwe observatieprojecten in de pijplijn. “Het belangrijkste project is de Legacy Survey of Space and Time van het Vera Rubin Observatory dat in 2023 van start gaat,” vertelt Bernardinelli. “Dit project zal de ons bekende populatie Transneptunische Objecten naar verwachting met een factor tien uitbreiden.”

In all of human history, only a few thousand people have ever reached the final frontier: breaking the gravitational bonds of Earth and experiencing the wonders of being present in space. On October 13, 2021, William Shatner — best known as Star Trek’s Captain Kirk — became the oldest person, at age 90, to ever experience it. Almost immediately, he recounted a feeling that other astronauts have reported: a cognitive shift in awareness that’s known as the overview effect.
Reported by a large number of astronauts and cosmonauts, from the first person in space (Yuri Gagarin) right up through the most recent (Shatner), the sense of compassion and fragility for all of humanity, and perhaps even all life on Earth, is something that you have to experience for yourself to truly understand. While most of us will only get a sense of that feeling of going to space secondhand, through pictures and videos, it cannot reproduce the lived experience of those who’ve been there. At this crucial moment in human civilization, we should all be listening to the message brought back from those who’ve ventured beyond our planet’s boundaries.

What is the overview effect?
Coined by Frank White in 1987, the overview effect describes what the spaceflight experience, for lack of a better term, awakens in those who venture into space and view Earth. As White writes:
“There are no borders or boundaries on our planet except those that we create in our minds or through human behaviors. All the ideas and concepts that divide us when we are on the surface begin to fade from orbit and the moon. The result is a shift in worldview, and in identity.”
There are some fundamental truths about our reality that we all intellectually know, but rarely experience. We tend to view Earth as divided into various distinct pieces. We do this so naturally that we rarely stop to think about it, but we frequently talk about:
oceans and land masses
the seven continents
the different countries, states, cities, and neighborhoods
people who are “like us” and “different from us”
We do all this despite the fact that we know that there is much, much more that unites us than divides. Earth is one interconnected system. What we do, both as individuals and as a human civilization, is deeply tied to all that transpires on our planet.

Perhaps no photograph better encapsulates that feeling than the one above: the famous “Earthrise” photo from the Apollo 8 mission, the first crewed mission to reach and travel behind the moon. For about 45 minutes, the astronauts were cut off from all communications on Earth, as no radio signals could be either transmitted or received. And then, as the spacecraft reemerged from behind the moon, there it was, coming up over the limb of the moon: our own planet, Earth, tiny, distant, fragile, and blue, just hanging there in the abyss of space. For the first time, human eyes glimpsed our world from the perspective of another. The feeling the astronauts experienced was beyond breathtaking.
Three astronauts were aboard that flight: Frank Borman, Jim Lovell, and Bill Anders. As Anders most famously put it, “We came all this way to explore the moon, and the most important thing is that we discovered the Earth.” But it was Borman, the mission commander, who perhaps best described the overview effect, describing an internal feeling that most of us have never experienced for ourselves,
“When you’re finally up at the moon looking back on earth, all those differences and nationalistic traits are pretty well going to blend, and you’re going to get a concept that maybe this really is one world and why the hell can’t we learn to live together like decent people.”
There are an enormous number of changes that occur in your perspective when you make that journey to space yourself. Upon launch, you feel yourself accelerated upwards with a force that significantly exceeds Earth’s gravity, similar to a roller coaster or a car accelerating from rest with the gas pedal pressed to the floor. Only, instead of lasting for just a few seconds, the acceleration continues, unabated, for minutes at a time. As you rise, higher and higher, the color of the sky begins to fade away, from cyan to blue to a deep, dark black: darker than any black you’ll experience peering up at Earth’s night sky. From above the Earth’s atmosphere, every star is a steady point of light; the stars will have ceased to twinkle.
And then, as described by so many, you see it. You look back at where you came from — back at planet Earth — and you get this grand perspective of our home planet. You witness the thin atmosphere, with a smattering of ever-changing clouds, above the blue oceans and the darker land masses. You recognize how interdependent everything that occurs on our world is on the environment, and how rare and precious that environment is. Most of all, you simultaneously feel both the insignificance and the great significance of existence. Our planet’s locations and properties, as well as the richness of life transpiring down below, may truly be unique in all the universe. There’s a sense of urgency that’s often described as well: if we don’t start taking proper care of the Earth, we will run the risk of pushing all that we hold dear and precious to a premature extinction.

What have other astronauts experienced?
In 1961 — a full 60 years ago — Yuri Gagarin became the first human in space. Upon his return, many expected him to emerge with a message of pro-Soviet Union propaganda, but instead he began remarking on the beauty of Earth and the feelings in his heart. “Orbiting Earth in the spaceship, I saw how beautiful our planet is. People, let us preserve and increase this beauty, not destroy it!”
In the decades since, across nationalities and time, those same sentiments have been echoed by so many who’ve left the bonds of Earth to briefly venture into the grand abyss of space.
Roger Chaffee, the Apollo 1 astronaut who tragically perished in a launchpad fire, dreamed of a future where everyone could share in the perspective gained by those who were fortunate enough to experience it for themselves. “The world itself looks cleaner and so much more beautiful. Maybe we can make it that way — the way God intended it to be — by giving everyone, eventually, that new perspective from out in space.”

Almost every photo from the Apollo 11 mission was taken by Neil Armstrong, meaning that almost every photo of an astronaut on the moon from that mission is Buzz Aldrin, not Neil Armstrong. But this photo, above, shows Neil as he appeared after completing his first historic steps on the moon, with tears in his eyes. He remembered his time walking on the moon’s surface: “It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn’t feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.”
Astronauts also commonly describe a different visceral feeling that you might not expect: one of frustration and being called to action. As Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut, recounted, “You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch.’”

This set of feelings has been echoed by many, from moonwalkers to ISS and space shuttle astronauts to civilian space tourists. Some other astronaut perspectives include:
Michael Lopez-Algeria: “A…faceplate is all that separates our eyes from the void…I cannot imagine any other experience that could approach this one. Curiously, I found that when outside I was much more moved by nature and less drawn to particular places. The perspective is so much greater that zooming in on a city seems uninteresting.”
Nicole Stott: “It surprises you every time you look out, even if you are looking at the same place that you flew over before. This kind of very dynamic, ever-changing appearance of the place that gives it the appearance that it’s alive.”
Joseph Allen: “I’ve known every cosmonaut and every astronaut…without exception, every one of them cannot get over the beauty of seeing planet Earth. It just takes your breath away and… you just cannot take your eyes off the Earth. It just is so beautiful.”
Anousheh Ansari: “The actual experience exceeds all expectations and is something that’s hard to put to words … It sort of reduces things to a size that you think everything is manageable … All these things that may seem big and impossible … We can do this. Peace on Earth? No problem. It gives people that type of energy … that type of power, and I have experienced that.”
Ed White: “I’m coming back in… and it’s the saddest moment of my life.”
And yet, it’s perhaps up to William Shatner, the oldest person ever to travel to space at age 90, to put it in terms that most of us can viscerally relate to.

What can William Shatner’s experience teach us?
Being moved to tears is a common experience described by astronauts, going all the way back to Alan Shepard: the first American astronaut in space. Shatner, upon his return to Earth, recounted the following message of gratitude, hope, and the profoundly deep emotions he was feeling:
“Everybody in the world needs to do this. Everybody in the world needs to see this. [It’s] unbelievable… To see the blue color rip by you and now you’re staring into blackness, that’s the thing… the covering of blue. This sheet, this blanket, this comforter of blue we have around us, we say ‘oh, that’s blue sky,’ and then suddenly you shoot through it all of a sudden, like you rip the sheet off of you when you’re asleep, and you’re looking into blackness, into black ugliness, and you look down and there’s the blue down there and the black up there … there is mother and Earth and comfort and there’s, is there death? I don’t know? Was that death? Is that the way death is? Whup! And it’s gone. It was so moving to me. This experience, it’s something unbelievable.”
Today, you can venture up high enough to photograph the Earth’s curvature for a cost of just $150 (and with a much better camera than was available in the 1940s) if you’re a DIY kind of person. The feelings he describes — of the fleetingness of being alive on Earth, of the preciousness of the time we have and the location we’re lucky enough to inhabit — go far beyond our terrestrial concerns. After describing the enormity and the suddenness, and the change in the color of the blackness of space compared with the blue that is our home, Shatner continued:
“I can’t even begin to express. What I would love to do is to communicate as much as possible the jeopardy, the moment you see the vulnerability of everything, it’s so small. This air, which is keeping us alive, is thinner than your skin. It’s a sliver. It’s immeasurably small when you think in terms of the universe. It’s negligible, this air. Mars doesn’t have any. And when you think about… the oxygen, the 20% [of the atmosphere] that sustains our life, it’s so thin! To dirty it… I mean, that’s another whole… .”
“If everybody… it would be so important for everybody to have that experience through one means or another… we all hugged each other, you know you share, it’s like being in battle together, and there is this bonding of being in battle. But you’re also in battle inside yourself. Oh my goodness, I have had an experience.”

On Earth, we often feel pressure to overfocus on the mundane concerns of everyday life. If we’re not careful, they can fill up all of our time, energy, and mental space, leaving us very little room to contemplate what’s truly, vitally important to ourselves in this world. Even something as fleeting as a 10-minute flight — taking the crew some 100 kilometers (62 miles) up — can be a life-changing experience, putting the minutiae of our experience into a context that flips our daily concerns on their heads.
As you can see from watching Shatner’s video yourself, he’s trying to communicate an experience that words cannot encapsulate. There’s a sensation, an emotion, a perspective, that perhaps is only accessible to people who’ve seen it and lived it for themselves: the preciousness, the rarity, the fragility of all that we have here, around us, and that life as we know it has only one home: Earth. Everywhere else seems to be a vast abyss of lifeless emptiness, except for right here. And perhaps, if we can bring ourselves to treat our home with the care that it requires, we’ll find a kind of fulfillment, contentment, and broad, long-term perspective that will bring about the civilization we’ve struggled to create for so long.
The takeaways from all of this are unambiguous. But we have to choose to listen to what the explorers who’ve gone before us have reported. When they talk about developing an instant global consciousness, they’re talking about having a set of epiphanies all at once. They experience the recognition that everything we view as borders or boundaries are artificial; there are no inherent geographical lines separating humans. They witness firsthand how unfamiliar the environment of space is, and how everything they’ve known, loved, or experienced exists “down there” on that tiny, isolated, and fragile blue ball.
The act of going to space is always a remarkable demonstration of our profound technological achievements as a species. However, the internal shift that happens in the perspective of everyone who gets to experience is perhaps the most profound thing of all: a change in your state of mind that compels you to recognize the oft-forgotten truth of our fragile existence. In all the universe, there is no other known world with both the diversity and the fragility of our planet. Just maybe, if more of us got to experience it for ourselves, we’d be compelled to take better care not onlyof one another, but of our cosmic home as well.

Recently, a group of researchers uncovered a decently preserved specimen inside a piece of amber found in the Dominican Republic.
It is the third tardigrade fossil to be described. It was given its own evolutionary genus and species, adding yet another branch to the tardigrade family tree.
Don’t let their microscopic size mislead you. Tardigrades are some of the most resilient and successful species ever to populate our planet. Also known as water bears for their distinct shape, these eight-limbed organisms have been around for millions of years. During this time, they managed to explore just about every part of the world, from the peaks of the Indian Himalayas to the depths of the Antarctic ocean.
Although the evolutionary history of tardigrades is extensive, it is also shrouded in mystery. Their size, while allowing them to colonize even the most inhospitable ecosystems, also makes it extremely difficult for their bodies to fossilize. With such a sparse geological record, paleontologists cannot help but refer to tardigrades as a “ghost lineage,” a species that seemingly appeared out of nowhere.
To be fair, their origin isn’t all question marks. Calculating the mutation rate of biomolecules, paleontologists can infer that tardigrades must have branched off from other panarthropod lineages before the Cambrian period came to a close. Until recently, only two representatives of a crown group — a collection of fossils linking extant specimens back to their least common ancestor — were described.
Now, that number is up to three. Last week, a team of interdisciplinary researchers from Europe and America announced in the Proceedings of the Royal Society B they had found and identified a brand new tardigrade fossil frozen in a nugget of Dominican amber. The amber dates back to the Miocene age, while the water bear inside appears to have lived during the Cenozoic.
Why water bears fossilize best in amber
To appreciate this discovery in its context, a brief background is in order. The first fossilized tardigrade to be described was named Beorn leggi. It was discovered back in 1964, located inside Canadian amber.
Though not the only place where tardigrade fossils have been found, amber seems to be the material that preserves them the best. Tardigrades, despite being pretty much indestructible when they are alive, lack hard tissue that can petrify upon death. Consequently, the only way in which they can be preserved is if they managed to get caught in tree resin, which the passage of deep time turns into amber.

While B. leggi was the first tardigrade fossil to be described, that description was not very good. Unable to take high-resolution images of their subject, paleontologists failed to place the fossil into any existing branch on the tardigrade family tree. Until a future discovery can help us fill in the blanks, B. leggi remains in the freshly erected placeholder family known as Beornidae.
It took almost four decades before the next tardigrade fossil could be identified. This specimen, christened Milnesium swolenskyi by its discoverers, was found in New Jersey amber. Thanks to its adequate preservation, the fossil could be dated. It was around 14 million years older than B. leggi and was assigned to the Milnesiidae family.
M. swolenskyi was special insofar as its body plan resembled that of an extant member of the Milnesium family. The modern and ancient specimen have similarly shaped claws, and their mouths are fitted with no less than six oral papillae or feeding structures. This, its discoverers stated at the time, indicated that the morphology of tardigrades remained unchanged for at least 92 million years.
Discovering a new genus
The tardigrade fossil recently found in the Dominican Republic may not be as old as some of the previous discoveries, but it can still tell us a number of things about the evolutionary history of this elusive animal. In fact, the morphology of the fossil was so perfectly preserved that researchers were able to erect an entirely new genus and species: Paradoryphoribius chronocaribbeus. P. chronocaribbeus was placed in the superfamily Isohypsibioidea, an assessment that wasn’t easy given the difficulty of studying the morphology of microscopic fossils.

In order to identify their find, the researchers used a variety of measurement techniques. Mounting Paradoryphoribius to a slide, they studied the fossil’s morphology using transmitted light microscopy as well as confocal fluorescence microscopy, which enhances images using a laser.
Comparing the fossil’s features with those of other tardigrades, the researchers found that Paradoryphoribius was both like and unlike its evolutionary relatives. Its claws and spinal canal are similar to that of the genus Doryphoribius. But unlike Doryphoribius, which has multiple, granular-shaped teeth, Paradoryphoribius has only one toothlike appendage.
Tardigrade fossils are hard to come by, but each new find adds a piece to this largely unsolved evolutionary puzzle. With the discovery of Paradoryphoribius, the species’ family tree has grown another branch, giving paleontologists hope that — one day — they will finally be able to unravel the ghostlyorigins of the water bear.

De zeldzame vondst geeft een uniek inkijkje in de evolutionaire geschiedenis van een organisme dat vijf massa-extincties overleefd heeft.
Beerdiertjes zijn beroemd om hun verbazingwekkende vermogen om de meest extreme omstandigheden te overleven. Ze zijn bijvoorbeeld bestand tegen het vacuüm van de ruimte en zijn zelfs weer tot leven gekomen nadat ze tientallen jaren in Antarctische mos waren bevroren. Maar hoe moeilijk het ook is om het bizarre microscopische diertje te doden, het is nóg moeilijker om een gefossiliseerd exemplaar te vinden. En toch zijn onderzoekers daar nu in geslaagd.
Meer over beerdiertjes Beerdiertjes zijn microscopisch kleine organismen die naar schatting zo’n 540 miljoen jaar geleden ontstonden. Ze zijn onder meer te vinden in de grond en op planten. Ze bereiken een lichaamslengte van ongeveer een halve millimeter en een breedte van ongeveer 1/5 millimeter, waardoor ze met het blote oog bijna niet te zien zijn. Beerdiertjes komen wijdverspreid in de natuur voor. Een pluk mos kan bijvoorbeeld al zeker duizenden exemplaren herbergen. Daarnaast zijn het taaie rakkers. Je kunt ze bijvoorbeeld meer dan dertig jaar invriezen: na ontdooiing pakken ze hun leven gewoon weer op. Ook kunnen ze wel tot tien jaar zonder water, overleven ze zelfs bij gebrek aan zuurstof en zijn ze bestand tegen kosmische straling. En toen onderzoekers ze recent in een speciaal geweer stopten om ze af te vuren, konden de beerdiertjes dat ook gewoon navertellen.
Het is een bijzondere prestatie, aangezien het slechts de derde keer is dat wetenschappers een gefossiliseerd beerdiertje aantreffen. De onderzoekers ontdekten het beerdiertje in een 16 miljoen jaar oud stukje barnsteen, dat stamt uit het Mioceen.

Het nieuwe geslacht en soort zijn respectievelijk Paradoryphoribius chronocaribbeus en Pdo. chronocaribbeus genoemd. “De ontdekking van een gefossiliseerd beerdiertje is iets dat maar één keer per generatie voorkomt,” aldus onderzoeker Phil Barden. “Wat zo opmerkelijk is, is dat beerdiertjes eigenlijk alles op aarde hebben gezien, van de val van de dinosaurussen tot de opkomst van planten. Toch kennen we bijna geen fossielen. De ontdekking van fossiele resten van een beerdiertje is dan ook heel opwindend.”
Grootte Dat dit dus maar zelden gebeurt, is overigens niet zo gek. Beerdiertjes zijn ontzettend klein en vallen door hun minuscule voorkomen nauwelijks op. Zo is Pdo. chronocaribbeus een halve millimeter groot.“Het is slechts een vage vlek in barnsteen,” legt Barden uit. “Pdo. chronocaribbeus zat ingesloten in een hoek van een stukje barnsteen met drie verschillende mierensoorten die ons lab had bestudeerd. Het beerdiertje is maanden over het hoofd gezien.”

Pdo. chronocaribbeus blijkt na analyse een familielid te zijn van de hedendaagse superfamilie Isohypsibioidea. Daarnaast vertegenwoordigt het het eerste beerdiertjes-fossiel dat stamt uit het Cenozoïcum; het huidige geologische tijdperk dat zo’n 66 miljoen jaar geleden begon. “Op het eerste gezicht lijkt dit fossiel op moderne beerdiertjes, vanwege de relatief eenvoudige externe morfologie,” vertelt onderzoeker Marc Mapalo. “Maar voor het eerst zijn we erin geslaagd om ook de interne anatomie te visualiseren. Hierdoor zagen we opvallende eigenschappen die we niet zien bij levende organismen. Dit stelt ons niet alleen in staat om dit beerdiertje onder een nieuw geslacht te scharen, maar we kunnen nu ook de evolutionaire veranderingen onderzoeken die deze groep organismen gedurende miljoenen jaren heeft meegemaakt.”
Evolutie Volgens de onderzoekers geeft de zeldzame vondst ons een uniek inkijkje in de evolutionaire geschiedenis van een organisme dat vijf massa-extincties overleefd heeft. Zo kan het bijvoorbeeld meer inzicht verschaffen in de evolutionaire gebeurtenissen die de meer dan 1300 hedendaags levende soorten hebben gevormd, met al hun eigenaardigheden. “We hebben slechts het topje van de ijsberg gezien als het gaat om ons begrip over levende beerdiertjes,” zegt Barden. “De studie herinnert ons er niet alleen aan dat we maar weinig beerdiertjes-fossielen hebben, maar dat we ook nog heel weinig over de hedendaagse soorten weten.”
De onderzoekers hopen dan ook dat andere wetenschappers hun ogen open houden voor andere goed verstopte fossiele beerdiertjes. “We hopen dat dit werk anderen aanmoedigt om stukjes barnsteen nauwkeuriger te bekijken om deze geheimzinnige organismen beter te begrijpen,” besluit onderzoeker Javier Ortega-Hernandez.
De Atlas moet om 11.34 uur Belgische tijd opstijgen, maar heeft een lanceervenster dat 75 minuten open is. Er is negentig procent kans op goed weer. De nuttige lading van de krachtige draagraket is de Lucy. Bij de 981 miljoen dollar kostende missie is het de bedoeling een nog niet onderzochte groep van asteroïden, de Trojaanse planetoïden, te exploreren. Wetenschappers denken dat deze steenklompen, gelokaliseerd in de baan van Jupiter, primaire overblijfselen zijn uit de vroege geschiedenis van ons zonnestelsel dat 4,5 miljard jaar oud is.
De missie duurt twaalf jaar en onderzoekt naast zeven Trojaanse asteroïden ook een andere planetoïde. De sonde zal drie keer gebruik maken van de zwaartekracht van onze planeet om aan snelheid te winnen.
Nooit eerder was er een missie naar zoveel verschillende bestemmingen in onafhankelijke banen rondom onze Zon, maakt de NASA zich sterk.

Its frequent sighting worldwide, has given rise to consider that when it comes to UFO , it does not necessarily have to be of extraterrestrial origin. That is the case of the triangular UFO.
There is so much evidence on this unidentified flying object that the theory that it is a government aircraft is a fact.
The evidence of the triangular UFO
Among one of the most controversial videos recently captured is that of a driver returning from work. Although the video was recorded through a cell phone, it has been one of the best videos of a triangular UFO.
The surprised man when reviewing his recording knew that it was something unusual, so he decided to upload it to the Internet immediately.
Unsurprisingly, the video received millions of likes, comments, and reactions. In the images you can clearly see a shiny triangular shaped object .
The witness sent the video anonymously to The Daily Star , where it also became quite viral.
Several of the comments from viewers suggest that it looks like a TR-3B surveillance plane , with the circles under each corner of the triangle. This comment was highly supported by the rest of the community.
Another user commented that he remembered helping build these ships at a secret government base. Specifically during the 60s .
Other evidences of the triangular UFO are those that were reported in Antelope Valley, a desert area in southern California.
This area of the desert is often visited by researchers and theorists extraterrestrials, UFOs and other paranormal events. It is believed that it was there that the “Black Project” of the United States Armed Forces took place.
Is it a terrestrial or alien ship?
In addition, it is close to military research and testing areas such as the 42nd Air Force Plant and Edwards Base.
Professional opinion
For those who are experts in the UFO subject, this class of airplanes are manufactured in secret. They are the fruit of years of research, of the use of reverse engineering of alien spaceships fallen on Earth.
The TR-3B is said to be a subsonic spy plane with a flying wing design that is sometimes invisible.
Which was used as a guide laser pointer for bombs in the Gulf War . Manufacture of the TR-3B is credited to Northrop.
For UFO experts , the manufacture of this craft as well, as reports of step-shaped aircraft in Russia, Europe, Australia, are not surprising events.
That the mysterious triangular UFO is real and that reverse engineering and alien technology were used in its manufacture .
Even though sightings have been massive around the world, it is still not really known where this aircraft came from. If it is American, if it even belongs to Earth or if it is an alien spacecraft.
In 1908, a small asteroid exploded in the atmosphere over the Tunguska River in Russia, devastating a 1200-square-mile area. In 1978, Slovak astronomer Ľubor Kresák proposed that the asteroid was a fragment of Comet Encke, a periodic comet that orbits the Sun every 3.3 years and is part of the group responsible for the annual Beta Taurids meteor shower. Another astronomer recently discovered 88 asteroids and meteoroids in that Beta Taurids complex with a common and very unusual characteristic – they are all aligned with Comet Encke. That astronomer has connected the new asteroids and Comet Encke like dots and come to a shocking conclusion about their origin, the Tunguska event and what may be coming. Here’s a hint: his new book is called “The Next Asteroid Impact: Survival Manual.”
“Using the Secular Light Curve (SLC) formalism, we have catalogued 88 probable members of the Taurid Complex (TC). 51 of them have useful SLCs and 34 of these (67%) exhibit cometary activity.”
In a study published in the journal Planetary and Space Science, Ignacio Ferrin, an astronomer at the University of Antioquia in Colombia, details the conclusions he and co-author Vincenzo Orofino of Italy’s University of Salento drew after discovering 88 space rocks in the Taurid complex. Their signatures show cometary activity, which indicates they were likely part of a giant comet that exploded not long ago. Because they’re lined up with it, they thought the rocks might be part of Comet Encke, but 88 is too many for that idea, so they concluded Encke was part of them, and together they were the result of a cometary explosion – a recent one. Ferrin and Orofino did not have to look far for a big event that could have been a sign of the explosion.
“This high percentage of active asteroids gives support to the hypothesis of a catastrophe that took place during the Upper Paleolithic, when a large short-period comet, arriving in the inner Solar System from the Kuiper Belt, experienced, starting from 20 thousand years ago, a series of fragmentations that produced the present 2P/Encke comet, together with a large number of other members of the TC.”
Astronomy.comreports Ferrin and Orofino concluded that a 62-mile-wide comet from the Kuiper Belt entered the inner solar system, exploded and the fragments became Comet Encke, the Taurid meteor stream, and the rest of the tiny rocks, debris and dust traveling with it. What’s more, they seem convinced this happened 20,000 years ago when Earth was bombarded by space rocks that may have caused the global climate cooling at the start of a near-glacial period called the Younger Dryas, as well as possibly causing the extinction of the prehistoric Clovis culture in the Americas and early hunter-gatherer community in modern-day Syria.

That leads us to Ferrin’s new book, “The Next Asteroid Impact: Survival Manual.” He predicts more asteroid-caused events like Tunguska and the Younger Dryas … soon.
“In fact, I put myself in the path of the asteroid and ask the question: What should I do to survive? Chapter 11 and 12 are dedicated to asteroid 99942 Apophis. This object is going to have a close approach to Earth on Friday 13, April 2029. We give an ephemeris of the best places to observe it with the naked eye. It is going to pass at only 6 Earth radii. And finally, Chapter 13 provides a Table of returns, critical dates, and predictions. Our planet is going to pass through several zones of enhanced hazard starting with the next decade, 2030.”
Ferrin is also worried about the annual Beta Taurid showers. Even small asteroids are dangerous when directly impacting Earth, but he sees the Taurid complex having many more objects 60 to 90 meters in diameter – the size of the Tunguska object. In other words:
“What we see today of the TC are the remnants of a very varied and numerous complex of objects, characterized by an intense past of collisions with the Earth which may continue to represent a danger for our planet.”
According to a Technical Report prepared by the Air Force’s UFO study-program, Project Grudge, way back in August of 1949: “Upon eliminating several additional incidents due to vagueness and duplication, there remain 228 incidents, which are considered in this report. Thirty of these could not be explained, because there was found to be insufficient evidence on which to base a conclusion.” Certainly the most notable entry in the document appears in the Recommendations section. It states, and I quote: “…that Psychological Warfare Division and other governmental agencies interested in psychological warfare be informed of the results of this study.” The U.S. Department of Defense defines PW as: “The planned use of propaganda and other psychological actions having the primary purpose of influencing the opinions, emotions, attitudes, and behavior of hostile foreign groups in such a way as to support the achievement of national objectives.” What this demonstrates, is that the military’s UFO programs weren’t just about investigating sightings. The operations were also focused on creating utterly bogus flying saucer-themed stories – all born out of psychological warfare operations designed to hide things of a specifically non-UFO nature. Which is exactly what happened at Roswell – a spurious tale of a saucer was spun to hide something that the government wanted hidden. And it was hidden.

Aztec, New Mexico: the site of a crashed UFO? It depends on who you ask
There is also the matter of the infamous, alleged UFO crash at Aztec, New Mexico in March 1948. It’s a story which is made famous in Frank Scully’s 1950 book, Behind the Flying Saucers, a book which turned out to be a huge seller. Many researchers of the UFO phenomenon (although certainly not all, such as Scott and Suzanne Ramsey) dismiss Aztec as nothing but a hoax, one perpetrated by a shady businessman/conman named Silas Newton. There is an interesting aspect to the Newton / Aztec story, that is worth noting. By his own admittance, and after the Aztec story surfaced, Newton was clandestinely visited by two representatives of “a highly secret U.S. Government entity,” as the late Karl Pflock worded it. Those same representatives told Newton, in no uncertain terms, that they knew his Aztec story was a complete and bald-faced lie. Incredibly, though, they wanted him to keep telling the tale to just about anyone and everyone who would listen. This led Pflock to wonder: “Did the U.S. Government or someone associated with it use Newton to discredit the idea of crashed flying saucers so a real captured saucer or saucers could be more easily kept under wraps?” Far more intriguing, though, is the next question that Karl posed: “Was this actually nothing to do with real saucers but instead some sort of psychological warfare operation[italics mine]?”

Aztec, New Mexico
Pflock – a CIA intelligence officer, and a Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense in the Reagan Administration – was not just fascinated by the Aztec saga of 1948, per se. He was also fascinated by the possibility that someone in the government, the intelligence community, or the military – and maybe even a combination of all three – had created the story to hide something else. Or, at the very least, had encouraged the telling and retelling of the Aztec story for psy-op-based reasons. I know just how fascinated Karl was when it came to Aztec and the claims of Newton and that “highly secret U.S. Government entity.” I first met Karl in 2003 – at a UFO gig in the small town of Aztec, New Mexico. For a number of years, the conference was a yearly event. But, no more. Karl and I were were in touch by landline and fax (how quaint) as far back as the mid-1990s.
When Karl and I finally met, he near-immediately suggested that we should write an Aztec-themed book. Karl’s reasoning was that he knew the story very well, and, via the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, I had uncovered hundreds and hundreds of pages of material – chiefly from the FBI – on the Aztec controversy. He thought we would make a good team, and particularly so now that I lived in the U.S. – and specifically in Texas, which is, of course, not at all far from New Mexico, where Karl resided and where the 1948 crash supposedly happened. As I listened, Karl told me that his idea was, essentially, to make the book a biography on Newton, but with the Aztec affair being the main thrust. I thought it was a good idea and Karl suggested he prepare a synopsis for his literary agent. That’s exactly what he did. The book was going to be called Silas the Magnificent: A True Tale of Greed, Credulity, and (Maybe) Government Chicanery and Cover-up in 1950s America. Note that the book makes no mention of UFOs in its title and sub-title.
Unfortunately, the project was permanently derailed when Karl fell sick with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also referred to as Lou Gehrig’s disease. He unfortunately died from the effects of ALS on June 5, 2006, at the age of just sixty-three. Karl is gone, but the synopsis still exists. It would have made a good book. And, very possibly, it just might have revealed more of the psy-op aspect of Aztec and of other crashed UFO yarns of bygone decades.
I found this anomaly in the latest Curiosity Rover photo. The black object looks like a crashed UFO. The craft is only about 2.5-3 meters across, so it probably only held a few passengers. Since many of the figures we found on Mars are about 5-8 cm tall, then we can conclude that his ship could carry about 20-40 passengers.
There is only two photos of the ship. The rover usually takes many of each area, but not here. Perhaps with further research I might find more.

The lights do not seem to be controlled from the ground, and they do not follow normal search light patterns. I believe them to be energy entities trying to show the public that they exist. However...in todays Young culture mentality of deny everything and admit nothing...this will be swept under the carpet alike all the rest of the real UFO sightings happing across the world.

You can see in one of the videos them flying off in separate areas and the other video of them together with one flying out a bit by itself and then coming back together. This was 2013 so this was taken with an iPhone 5s, which doesn't have the best low light camera and sensor compared to today's iPhone so it was hard to get footage of them in the different boroughs. Another thing to note was we noticed a helicopter flying extremely high up, almost above our neighborhood, and was watching the whole thing. I assumed it was NYPD, but couldn't tell for certain. There would be no point of having a helicopter just floating in one position so late at night, especially that high up. If there was a sports game, it would be much lower to get some b-roll footage of the skyline, but this was way too high up and pointing in the direction of the UFOs.
Lastly, it was overcast that night and the UFOs were definitely hiding in the clouds. Even when they would fly out from the clouds, you only saw a light, you didn't see any objects or spaceships.

Educating Leaders of the DOD by Don Ware
While taking the time to change the thinking of the public about our alien visitors, those few people who were managing the educational program found it necessary to change the thinking at the top levels of the Department of Defense through covert means. The following story describes one event in that program.
In 1988 a friend brought a recently retired lawyer from New York to my home so he could tell me about his personal UFO experience in 1959. After listening to his story, I asked him if he had had any other encounters. He said no, but his neighbor, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, told him about an intriguing experience. His neighbor said he flew large aircraft (I don’t recall if it was C-135s or C-140s) out of Peterson AFB, Colorad in 1968 when he got a strange mission. He flew a large group of high-ranking generals and civilians from the Pentagon to a TACAN/DME position over the southwest desert and was told to listen on a certain radio frequency.
Universe
When he got there three aliens vehicles appeared, and everyone on the plane was able to see them. Then over the assigned channel came this message, “There are many concepts of God in the universe.” The alien vehicles departed, and the Air Force plane returned to base.
Now consider this mission carefully. If it really happened, and I have no reason to believe it did not, someone at an extremely high level in our government either coordinated that mission with the aliens or accepted the coordination of a known non-government individual. And why did this happen? I can only presume that someone wanted the top levels of our Department of Defense to associate UFOs with that message. I find this believable, considering all the other data I have collected. This event also made me wonder if the Pentagon Working Group that Howard Blum wrote about in Out There was another covert educational program for lower-ranking officers [3].
Educating the Troops
In the August 1992 issue of the MUFON UFO Journal, Bob Gribble described an event that occurred on Tulagi Island in the South Pacific in August 1942. According to Stephen J. Brickner of the First Marine Division, a flight of 150 disk-shaped vehicles flewover the troops who were expecting Japanese bombers. They were in straight majestic lines of 10 to 12 craft each, one behind the other. The gleaming objects seemed to “wobble slightly, and every time they wobbled, they would shimmer brightly from the sun.” The formation disappeared swiftly, leaving the excited witnesses open mouthed. Was this a demonstration by some alien folks to raise the awareness of the soldiers?
I recall several stories from the mid-fifties where airmen on various Air Force bases reported to the base theater for “Commander’s Call” and were shown about 30 minutes of slides and film clips of alien vehicles. When the show was over, an officer came on stage and said, “Don’t talk about it! Dismissed.”
Bo Spots UFO
I also know a prominent, well-educated civilian named George Gaines who had a UFO sighting in 1955. He was 12 years old, and he reported it in a letter to the “UFO Office, Eglin AFB.” A few days later, at 0900 on Saturday, he got a call and was asked if he reported the sighting. When he said yes, he was told to stay right there, rather than go to swim practice at the YMCA as he had planned. Five minutes later a new white Cadillac arrived with a colonel and a captain in uniform. They spent hours questioning him and showing him UFO film clips and albums full of UFO photos. His parents were asked to stay in the next room. There was one album they did not show him before they started to leave. He asked what was in it, and they asked if he had seen any aliens. He said no and was told they only show that to people who report seeing aliens. He insisted on seeing it, and they complied. George said it was full of alien photos. Some were dead, and some appeared alive.

I have also heard reports of highly skilled people, such as SR-71 pilots, being taken to a set of bleachers in a desert by a bus with blacked-out windows. A squarish object without wings rose up to the desert floor on an elevator and was entered by a human-looking pilot. It ascended silently and “flew” away. Again, they were told not to talk about it. I wonder how many other people are now willing to talk about similar experiences.
More recently, the Mid-Ohio Research Associates found at least two sources that talk about a “UFO” demonstration given to the troops of Desert Storm. A retired US military officer, using the pseudonym “Frank”, said it happened two days before the start of the ground war. This must have been a time of boredom and nervousness for the ground troops. “Fran” said he learned from reliable sources that about eight thousand soldiers saw a huge “UFO” over their four tank battalions in Saudi Arabia.
It was an Oblong Cylinder bluish green.
Its size was one-quarter mile long and perhaps 200 yards wide. It suddenly appeared and hovered silently over the troops for a long time. Then “the light show began” as it rose upward and quickly disappeared. Many soldiers took pictures with their privately owned cameras. The next day security people arrived. They formed everyone up into small groups for a de-briefing, and they confiscated the film.
If some group had a mission to change the thinking of the public without causing too much excitement, what better way is there than influencing military troops? They can most easily be restricted from going to the media where the audience could be an unmanageable fifty million. The timing of the above event indicates they may have even known the planned date of the start of the ground war.

Disaster Tsunami Tidal Wave

The Canary Islands are a group of seven volcanic islands that lie one hundred kilometers off the coast of Africa. These islands grew over a hotspot as in the Hawaiian Islands and all, but one has active volcanoes.
A wave higher than the World Trade Center 1,776 feet and travelling faster than a jet aircraft may devastate areas near the Canary Islands. A tidal wave will reach the eastern seaboard of America and inundate much of southern Britain, say scientists who have analyzed the effects of a future volcanic eruption in the Canary Islands.
A massive slab of rock twice the volume of the Isle of Man would break away from the island of La Palma and smash into the Atlantic Ocean to cause a tsunami – a monster wave – bigger than any recorded, the scientists warned yesterday.
Most of the wave’s energy, equivalent to the combined output of America’s power stations for six months, would travel westwards to the American coast but enough would be flicked north towards the English Channel to cause catastrophic coastal damage.
A computer model has been designed to show the way the tsunami
will build after the volcano, called Cumbre Vieja, erupts on La Palma, at the western end of the Spanish island chain. It describes the almost unimaginable scale of an event that the scientists say could happen at any time within the near future.
“We’re looking at an event that could be decades or a century away – but there will be a degree of warning beforehand,” said Simon Day, of the Benfield Greg Hazard Research Centre at University College London.
Most of the rocky western flank of Cumbre Vieja is unstable enough to be dislodged in the next big eruption of the volcano, which is active enough to explode at least once or twice a century. Its last big event was in 1949. The problem is a large Volcano has awakened in September on La Palma causing a series of 3.5 earthquakes.

Such a landslide from a future eruption could travel up to sixty kilometers (37 miles) from La Palma’s coast, causing the formation and then collapse of a dome of water nine hundred meters (3,000 feet) high and tens of kilometers wide. The bow of this collapsing dome of water would become a giant wave, but also, as the landslide continued to move underwater, a series of crests and troughs would soon generate the “wave train” of the tsunami.
With the leading wave in front and crests pushing it on behind, it would sustain the power for the nine-hour journey to the American east coast.
Tsunami means harbor wave in Japanese and, though the occurrence has nothing to do with the tides, it is often called a tidal wave in English. Throughout history they have caused widespread devastation, with Britain last being affected by one in 1755 when an earthquake in Lisbon caused an unusually large wave to hit southern ports.
The computer model, compiled in collaboration with Steven Ward of the University of California, Santa Cruz, predicts that the tsunami will have a height of 100 meters (330ft) from crest to trough when it crashes into the shores of nearby north-west Africa. By the time it reached its final destination, the east coast of Florida and the Caribbean islands, the tsunami would still be up to fifty meters high. (164 feet).
The northern East Coast of U.S. tidal wave would likely be higher about 200 feet. Low-lying land in Florida would be vulnerable to a sea wave that would inundate the mainland for several kilometers inland. Everything in its path would be flattened, the computer model predicted.
Even though the wave would be much smaller when it reached Britain, it would still breach sea defenses because it would be larger than the biggest storm waves for which they were designed, Dr Day said. “For low-lying land along the south coast, it could penetrate up to a mile,” he said.
Although there is little doubt that the landslide on La Palma will happen after a severe volcanic eruption, the difficulty is knowing exactly when it will occur. “Eruptions of Cumbre Vieja occur at intervals of decades to a century or so and there may be a number of eruptions before its collapse,” Dr Day said. “Although the year-to-year probability of a collapse is therefore low, the resulting tsunami would be a major disaster with indirect effects around the world.”

The scientists are calling for better warning instruments to be placed on La Palma so that an impending eruption can be detected quickly enough to alert other areas that might be affected by a tsunami. “Cumbre Vieja needs to be monitored closely for any signs of impending volcanic activity and for the deformation that would precede collapse. The collapse will occur during some future eruption after days or weeks of precursory deformation and earthquakes,” Dr Day predicted.
“An effective earthquake monitoring system could provide advanced warning of a likely collapse and allow early emergency management organizations a valuable window of time in which to plan and respond,” he said.
Previous research by Dr Day predicted that a future eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano was likely to cause the western flank of the mountain to slide into the sea.
The lava crept into the town of Los Llanos de Aridane, which lies close to the volcano. Town Mayor Noelia García said people had been evacuated from houses all the way down to the shoreline.
Lava continued to flow slowly from a volcano off northwest Africa, but the head of the regional government said Monday that he expected no injuries to people in the area after some 5,000 were evacuated. Lava was flowing on the island of La Palma toward the sea, moving at 2,300 feet per hour, according to the Canary Islands Volcanology Institute.

The Pacific Ocean is prone to earthquake-induced tsunamis caused by the so-called ring of fire volcanoes that girdle it. Ten lethal big waves have struck Japan, Hawaii, Alaska, Chile, Nicaragua, and New Guinea over the past one hundred years.

Mexico: The First UFO Photos Were Taken in Zacatecas in 1883
In the 19th Century, this state was a national and international pioneer in matters of astronomy and had two of Mexico’s first astronomical observatories ***
The first photographs of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in world history were taken from Zacatecas and the Mexico’s first weather forecasts were issued from here, says astronomer Alejandro Muñoz. The president of the Zacatecas Astronomical Society recalls that in the 19th century, this state was the national and international pioneer in matters of astronomy and had two of Mexico’s first astronomical observatories managed by José Arbol y Bonilla.
This native of Zacatecas undertook the task of coordinating the donation of the state’s first telescope from the French government, as well as the equipment for the weather observations. The president of the Zacatecas Astronomical Society explains that France delivered the telescope to the university in 1882, to study the transit of Venus across the Sun. For this reason, it was installed in the observatory that today bears the name of Manuel Rios Herrera.

It was with this telescope that Arbol y Bonilla captured and photographed the world’s first UFO images in 1883, although it was later ascertained that they were not flying saucers. They were most likely the residue of a comet, states the investigating astronomer? In turn, Gloria Eleana Espinoza Valdez, manager of the UAZ observatory and the French telescope for the past 11 years, reminds us that on December 6th of this year, [the telescope] will have been in service for 133 years. Despite its age, the telescope offers perfect views of distant heavenly bodies such as the moon, planets, and stars.
Zacatecas was located in excess of 2800 meters (9800 feet) and its semi-arid climate enable a perfect view of the stars.
Located in the Unidad Academica de Ingenieria Topográfica of the public university, the observatory and the telescope are still operating.

I am disappointed in you. I was the first to associate metamaterials with UFO warp drive at the 2011 DARP NASA meeting. I also have been saying UFOs from the future for decades. Eric Davis’s explanations are lame. He has not solved the energy problem that I solved and has no explanation of why metamaterials are relevant. You have cut me out of the true history just like in Orwell’s 1984.

My master’s degree is in Business Administration, does not provide the proper background to understand advanced physics. CNN) More than 100 US citizens and green card holders and nine special immigrant visa holders were evacuated from Afghanistan via a private charter flight on September 28, 2021, according to two organizations involved in the effort. Project Dynamo and Human First Coalition said in a press release that the group of evacuees were “moved overland, COVID tested, MMR vaccinated, and securely housed.
Reuters reported 28 American citizens, six people with U.S. Immigration Visas, and 83 green card holders are being stashed at the hangar in Abu Dhabi. Fifty-nine of the evacuees are children. Thousands of deserving Afghans were stopped by the Taliban controlling the check points in Kabul.
“The State Department has not allowed the Charter Flights paid for by U.S. donations to leave Afghanistan. The first justification was that there was no procedure by which American citizens could return to the United States on a charter flight, which we did not understand,” Project Dynamo’s Stan Bunner told Al Jazeera. U.S. officials also expressed concerns regarding evacuees potentially having the Measles, but Bunner told the outlet that evacuees were confirmed to be up to date on measles vaccination and tested negative for coronavirus. It’s interesting the State Department ir worried about measles when thousands of sick people are entering our Southern Border daily without any testing or vaccinations.
Amenities and conditions in the hangar are poor, Fox News reports. Evacuees are struggling “with limited food and water, no shower options, poor bathrooms, and restricted movement due to them being on an airfield, organizers say. Families are sleeping on tile floors and rigid plastic chairs with limited access to potable water,” according to Fox.
“We have an immediate and urgent need for food and diapers in the airport. There are no stores in the hangar where they are. I’ve spent all night on the phone trying to get supplies to them and I can’t,” Project Dynamo’s Jen Wilson told Fox News.
Fox reports that a new option has come about for organizers of the evacuation that would include using an Egyptian plane to passengers to fly passengers from Abu Dhabi to Cairo. The plane would refuel in Egypt and then take the evacuees to Dulles Airport in Virginia. The charter flight would cost organizers around $450,000 and would still necessitate United States security clearance.

Arizona Light
Mt Lemmon – on October 6, 2021, was out hiking on mountain on north side of Tucson. Saw dumbbell shape to the east, extremely far away, and exceedingly high. Trail was at seven thousand feet and object was much higher and was hovering for20 minutes. The dumbbell shape faded, and the object began to move east.
California Object
Los Angeles– On October 1, 2020, I saw this today over Los Feliz. I was about one thousand feet above sea level Looks similar to the one I saw exactly a week ago. Also kite shaped. Also reflected light with irregular movement going up slowly, then hovered. It was a bit of a windy day, so it shouldn’t have been able to stay so still—then it started moving very slowly east, dropped altitude, picked up speed then went up again. It passed over the I-5 traveling East. No propellers, no sound.
District of Columbia Object Ball
Washington DC — On October 3, 2021, I was crossing the bridge from Arlington into downtown Washington DC and noticed one black helicopter and one desert camouflage colored helicopter circling around the Jefferson Memorial and that’s when I noticed Tic Tac shaped hovering With my Uber passenger in the car I managed to take five pictures of the objects meanwhile it was just stationary for about 5 to 7 minutes!
Florida Lights
St Augustine – on September 28, 2021, we watch planes flying N to S or S to N over the east coast of Florida. I have taken photos of the planes when they leave a contrail. My camera is a Nikon P900 with a 24 to 2000 mm rigid mount lens. At 2000 mm, I can read the writing on the commercial airliners and tell which company they belong to.
Today, myself and my fiancé noticed a bright sparkling light that was moving NW, which was very different s with a very bright, intense, light. It passed behind some trees and when it emerged, I had my camera ready and was able to get one photo, but I am at a loss to identify the object. It may be a UFO; however, I would appreciate if the object could be identified just to slake my curiosity.

Deland—July 21, 2021, the report below is a series of communications First Communication: Hello. Can you look at these images? They are really strange pictures taken by me on the roof of courthouse early in the morning before I opened the courthouse.
I saw two figures gliding above the edge which is almost five feet tall. There is nothing to stand on. They are way over the edge as if they are 8 or 9 feet tall. I called the local PD and showed them the pictures that I just took. The courthouse was locked. I got up on the roof which was locked with officers. No one was up there. The officers were puzzled. Also, another guard saw them moving on the roof from a tower.
It appears by my pictures that it is two different figures. I went to report to my boss. She came outside. We walked around the courthouse. She said that she could see a figure. She called the local PD. We never left the courthouse. The PD came and we went to the roof. There was nothing
. I saw the one figure floating and gliding. I got those shots. One had a long neck and there was something around the neck. One appears to be wearing a military hat.
My boss saw someone moving around.
Note:Initially when I looked at the photos, I thought that a regular person had been photographed, but when I read the witness report and looked at the zoomed in photos, I realized that this is something quite unusual and unexplainable. Unfortunately, a low-resolution camera was used to take these photos. This makes it difficult to obtain more detail in blowups.
Also, some details of this report are incomplete. Boss was in courthouse that implies that he was opening the courthouse for public access. I don’t have any reason to believe that this is a hoaxed report.
What Could These Figure(s) Be? In the 1960’s Charles Hall was a weather observer at the Nellis AFB Bomber Range in Nevada. He had been regularly contacted by a race of “aliens” that he referred to as “Tall Whites.” Charles Hall said that the “Tall Whites” would glide off of the ground when moving and they would keep growing throughout their life and could reach 8 to 9 feet in height. Bloomington– October 10, 2021, I was riding in the car, and the clouds were epic, so I used my iPhone, to snap pictures. I looked at the clouds directly and saw the true UFO, it was a massive lead grey disk the ring around the center dome has grooves on it. It was visible for less than a minute and went behind a cloud as you can see.
Louisiana Light
Grambling - October ,5 2021, my family and I were helping my dad fix the cameras on the RV. My husband grabbed his binoculars when we noticed the object in the sky. It was obviously a different shape than a plane because we saw a silver cigar shape with no wings or tail. It moved at a constant speed and at times changed directions. It was headed north-east., My father, husband, and son couldn’t believe their eyes. The object went out of view eventually with two jets following.
Michigan Light
St Ignace– on September 20, 2021, while visiting Mackinac Island, I took a picture of the moon. When I looked back at the picture, I saw an object to the right of the moon that looked like a bright worm.
Missouri Lights
Washington- October 1, 2021, I have videotaped 3-4 hours every night for the last 5 days of their activity. I saw many different vehicles and a hole open in the sky and got a photograph of it. I saw one ship emit three vehicles that rapidly swept by but in the video, you can see their lights. I have lots of photographs and video. I had plenty of time to change settings and filter in order to get the clearest possible images. I’m sending you two photos of a cube, a picture of the hole I saw that opened up in the sky.
New Jersey Lights
Vineland –on September 28, 2021, I pulled out my phone to film a strange silent lightning storm. After reviewing the footage, I noticed a cube like shape in the clouds.
Hammonton – on April 10, 2021, was enormous, like a giant rectangle box with two big lights at front, and two on the back both aligned. No sound at all

Union Springs– on September 23, 2021, saw a Glow in the sky that was not the sunset over Cayuga Lake Finger lakes. I later saw when checking out the picture saw the glow a zoomed in and saw that glow up closer and a strange cloud cloaking device that’s just not normal.

Muldrow – December 28, 2020, I took a picture of several crafts in the morning sky at sunrise.
Oregon Humanoid
Portland– 2012, at the time I owned a barbershop and had just closed up for the night at 8 PM and saw what looked like a humanoid figure floating down from the sky. I stopped to get a better look as he landed on someone’s balcony, and I lost sight of it. Any ideas on what it is would be appreciated!

Virginia Lights
Duffield – on May 3, 2021, my husband and I both observed a hovering object less than one mile from our house. It appeared to be triangular. We got out the binoculars three separate triangular objects hovering above the farm next to ours. We watched for several minutes. Then I grabbed my camera and took a handheld photo using a 600 mm zoom. Then it was gone. The next evening, we all spotted the same image, so posted my photo to Face book and another neighbor had seen it
Wyoming Rectangle
Yellowstone National Park –on September 16, 2021, I saw a very tall rectangular object on the horizon and way up into the sky. I did not notice anything while I was taking the picture. Then last night, going through my vacation photos, there it was. My friends say, “Send it to MUFON!!!”. .Editor’s Note: Occasionally we receive a photo of a rectangular shaped object. This could be some sort of lens refraction of a door, but it could be an unusual, shaped craft.

Mississauga – on September 28, 2021, it was a very cloudy dark morning 45 minutes before sunrise. The first thing I noticed was a blue section in the night sky which you might expect to see in a break of the clouds during the day. I didn’t notice the second light further away until I looked at my photo.
Costa Rica Lights
Adrenal – on September 21, 2021, sent. I was taking a silhouette picture of lake arena in costa Rica at night. there was no ambient light. I did not see the object by eye, but it appeared in the photo I took. I do not know if it is a UFO or not. I could not determine what happened.
Germany Object and Light
Grasellenbach – on May 1, 2021, 28, 2020, It was my birthday and my wife, and my son enjoyed the day. My son spotted an incoming reflecting object moving slowly.
Mexico Light
Monterey – October10, 2021, UFO Hovering over Cerro de La Silla. It had bright light. It seemed to be moving slightly to the sides but mostly static. I watched it for about 10 minutes without any changes

Pontllanfraith Blackwood – on September 20, 2021, I was dreaming, and when I awoke, I looked out the window and a red star-like object appeared rapidly and flew at incredible speed.
UK/England Blue Orbs
Crewe – on September 26, 2021, I was taking some astrophotography shots playing with my Canon Power shot Sx530hs.Didn’t realize but caught these light anomalies until after reviewing the images. They are not stars, in some images it appears like other orbs and craft appear to be present on image presented allot! Zoom show some bizarre looking grey object that looks disc shaped. The blue specs when zoomed in match the same I saw in dark space! These are not satellites, as the images are seen to be in front of cloud cover around 9:30pm. Blue and some of the white orbs and objects within seem real.

UFO "Orb" Invisible To The Naked Eye Filmed Darting To The Ground, Azpeitia, Spain. October 8, 2021
This object was invisible to the naked eye of the witness and was captured by infrared night vision binoculars the witness stating that he estimate it to be about 200-300 meters from his house.
This UFO shoot down towards the ground at rapid speed.

The Friendly Spook Letter
In February 1989 Wendelle Stevens, well-known UFO investigator and publisher received a letter from someone he has chosen to call a “friendly spook,” government intelligence agent. The letter concerned the US government’s investigation of the Billy Meier case in Switzerland that Stevens had investigated. It also had much to say about the development of government policy on UFOs”. Following are a few paragraphs from that letter:
“…In 1945, when it was first proven that UFOs were real, from space, operated by intelligent beings, most of whom were in human form, the American Government did a soft touch check to see what the great unwashed public would say, and how the public would respond to UFOs, and space people, if the President informed the public over national radio.

“…The public’s response was all bad. Ninety-seven percent of the public took one of two approaches. Shoot first and ask questions later. Or call the UFOs agents of the devil, the prince of the power of the air, the anti-Christ, and set up an even worse situation, where UFOs would become a real negative +religious issue. What was surprising was the response of the religious leadership, which was by far worse than the general public’s response. It could only be called grim news.
“The science community showed no leadership at all, just a super case of stupidity, and prejudice.
“As you might guess, the original investigations were by military men, under orders from General Marshall, under the direction of the President. And if you know your military men, finding one who wants to get into a fight with the preachers, over what is or is not the anti-Christ, when neither the military man nor the preacher knows a hell of a lot of factual information, about either the anti-Christ or the UFOs, would be like sending a blind person out to spot UFOs…
“…To say that the military community successfully avoided a fight with the religious community over UFOs would be an accurate observation. To say that the military was real damned sneaky about how they informed the public about UFOs would also be an accurate observation.
“…The military mind drew one conclusion. The single most important thing to do, in the situation it was in, namely sitting on some hot, highly controversial information, was to keep the general public from getting a bad response by controlling the public’s response to UFOs. In other words, keep the religious mentality out of the issues involved, as long as possible. “But do not ever say that the military never did anything about informing the public about the existence of UFOs. That will mean you have not figured out the methods used by the government to spread the word about UFOs. You might say the military took the Bible’s advice about not to let the left hand know what the right hand is doing.

“The military pulled the very same trick Moses pulled, when he did not like the attitude of his troops after crossing the Red Sea. He took the time to grow a new batch of troops, whose response and thinking was more to his liking. And that is what the military did about UFOs.” I think the concept of educating a new generation has merit, and is supported by history. Consider how alien vehicles and aliens have become a part of our society with minimal adverse impact. And Jamie Shandera said he was told that government agents influenced the making of “The Day the Earth Stood Still”, “CloseEncounters of the Third Kind”, and “ET” to help shape public perceptions. Editor’s Note I had a long talk with Michael Rennie the star of the Day the Earth Stood Still and he indicated the military supported the film in numerous ways including some real UFO footage.
UFOs and the Theoretical Spacetime-Bending Technology
A spacecraft bending time and space in a warp bubble would eliminate the need for speed
Last year the US Navy confirmed that UFOs exist, meaning someone has access to advanced technology to build them. Declassified government research into warp drives provides insight into how UFOs could theoretically bend spacetime as a means of propulsion. Slowly but surely, the confirmed existence of UFOs is entering the public consciousness. Leaked video footage depicts Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) making seemingly impossible maneuvers while the Air Force and Navy pilots recording the craft looked on in wonder, shouting, “Wow! What is that man? Look at that flying!” More palatable, perhaps, than claiming these UFOs come from ETs, is the probability that they were built by humans as part of some black budget secret space program. When you stop to think about the magnitude of what that actually means, you realize that there is advanced technology out there that is way beyond anything that is commercially available at present. The Navy has confirmed that the UFOs seen in leaked video footage are real UAP, senators have been briefed on UFO sightings, and between 2007 and 2012 the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) spent $22 million dollars on research into warp drives, antigravity, wormholes, extra dimension manipulation, and whole lot more!

Therein it explains how an advanced technology could theoretically bend space and time around a craft as a form of propulsion called a warp drive — which doesn’t violate the cosmic speed limit. “Physicists have discovered two loopholes to Einstein’s ultimate speed limit: the Einstein-Rosen bridge (commonly referred to as а ‘wormhole’) and the warp drive,” the paper reads. “Fundamentally, both ideas involve manipulation of spacetime itself in some exotic way that allows for faster-than-light (FTL) travel.”

According to the paper’s authors, Dr. Richard Obousy and Dr. Eric Davis, “If one is to realistically entertain the notion of interstellar exploration in time frames of а human lifespan, а dramatic shift in the traditional approach to spacecraft propulsion is necessary.”
Artist’s Impression of Warp Drive
In the paper, the authors back up the claim made by Miguel Alcubierre in 1994 that by manipulating extra dimensions, a warp drive could bend space around a craft by contracting space in front of it while expanding space behind it.
“The warp drive involves local manipulation of the fabric of space in the immediate vicinity of а spacecraft. The basic idea is to create an asymmetric bubble of space that is contracting in front of the spacecraft while expanding behind it,” the authors write.
By warping space and moving through time, the craft wouldn’t be in violation of the galactic speed limit — the speed of light.
“The ‘spacecraft ‘remains stationary inside this ‘warp bubble’ and the movement of space itself facilitates the relative motion of the spacecraft” — Declassified DIA-funded research
Accelerating too fast will crush you and your craft from the G-Force but keeping your craft in a warp bubble would eliminate the need — the need for speed. This is one explanation why UAP would be a more accurate description because these things wouldn’t really “fly” at super speeds so much as they would be warping time and space.
“Using this form of locomotion, the ‘spacecraft ‘remains stationary inside this ‘warp bubble’ and the movement of space itself facilitates the relative motion of the spacecraft.
“The most attractive feature of the Warp drive is that the theory of relativity places no known restrictions on the motion of space itself, thus allowing for а convenient circumvention of the speed of light barrier,” according to the DIA-funded research.
But in order for any of this to happen, one must have access to, and know how to use, very advanced technology. The paper talks about this technology in a theoretical sense, but can you imagine if the theory has already been put to the test and proven?

Remember, UFOs exist, and we don’t know what technologies they use. This is one possible explanation.
According to the authors, the technology involved in a warp drive would have to be able to manipulate extra dimensions in order to gain control of dark energy.
“If an advanced technology was able to influence the radius of an extra dimension, then it would acquire direct control over dark energy, and hence the expansion and contraction of space itself,” according to the paper.
The researchers concluded back in 2010 that “As tremendous а feat as this may sound, at this early stage in the research it is one of the only viable mechanisms to generate а warp drive.”

The seemingly impossible maneuvers of UFOs can be explained if you think of the UFO as a time machine instead of something being propelled at great speeds.
F-18 Chasing Tic Tac UAP
Whether you believe Steinbart or not, his assertion that UFOs are time machines has been made by others, and it correlates the theoretical research funded by the DIA — only Steinbart claims that the research is operational and has been for some time.
Michael Masters, professor of biological anthropology at Montana Tech, also made the claim in his book, “Identified Flying Objects, that many UFOs are actually made by humans in the future, whom he calls “extratempestrials.”
Although scientists say that warp drives are theoretically possible, “further advances in quantum physics, quantum mechanics and metamaterials” are still needed to make them a reality, according to Joseph Agnew – an undergraduate engineer and research assistant from the University of Alabama in Huntsville’s Propulsion Research Center (PRC).
Whatever you want to call them, the existence of UAP has publicly been confirmed by the US Navy.
Somebody made them, and spacetime-bending warp drives are just one component of a whole slew of government research into the subject.

Patrol Boat Action with UFOs
Swift Boat or PCF 12
By all accounts it seems that troops in the Vietnam War were absolutely plagued by UFO activity, and some of the most spectacular reports of alien encounters during the Vietnam War have to do with actual military engagements with UFOs. One such incident occurred on June 15, 1968, along the demilitarized zone (DMZ) between North and South Vietnam, where a Swift patrol boat known as PCF-12, commanded by a Lieutenant Pete Snyder, was on a routine night patrol near Cua Viet. PCF-12 commenced a running gun battle, firing its .50 caliber machine guns and zig zagging at high speed for well over an hour. During this battle, PCF-12 continuously radioed that it was under attack by an unidentified hovering aircraft. Response from command was “no friendly aircraft in the area”. In order to isolate the problem, U.S. Forces suspended all flying operations within PCF-12′s area of operation. Despite this measure, PCF-12 continued to be engaged with the enemy.
At 12:30AM, PCF-12 reportedly received a frantic distress call from another patrol boat in the vicinity, PCF-19, claiming that they were being attacked by unidentified lights they were calling “enemy helicopters,” which seemed odd because the North Vietnamese enemy were not known to utilize combat helicopters at the time. It is thought the UFOs had an electromagnetic Tesla shield that could somehow returns the bullets or missiles fired at them. Snyder ordered the PCF-12 to head for PCF-19’s position to offer assistance, and they as they closed in reported spotting in the sky two circular bright lights immersed in a “strange glow” hovering over PCF-19’s position.
As they approached, one of the strange lights reportedly emitted a bright flash of light, after which PCF-19 exploded in a cascade of water and flying debris. Directly after the destruction of PCF-19, the two enigmatic lights were described as rapidly accelerating away towards the sea as PCF-12 scouted the area for any possible survivors of the carnage they had just witnessed. Two wounded men were found and recalled that the two UFOs had been trailing them for miles along the river.

The survivors then claimed that they had decided to fire upon the threatening, mysterious objects, and that was when one of them had issued a piercing blast of light to obliterate the boat. PCF-19 was resting right side up on the bottom, with damage consistent with being hit by two rockets, with two entry holes in the forward berthing compartment and no exit holes. Three U.S. crewmen in the compartment were killed, and the South Vietnamese liaison was killed in the main compartment. At first it was thought by officials that the PCF-19 had been the victim of an enemy missile fired from shore, but a later AP dispatch from Saigon would quote a military spokesman as having attributed the loss of PCF-19 to an “unidentified object,” and not enemy coastal batteries or missiles.
The PCF-12 continued its patrol up the river and were soon approached by the same two unidentified lights, which took up positions hovering on the port and starboard sides around 300 yards away and 100 feet above the water. PCF-12 called in to headquarters to try and get an idea of what they were dealing with but were met with the response that there were no aircraft in the area at the time. Realizing that these craft were not friendly, Snyder ordered his men to open fire on the lights, which apparently did little to faze or even slow them down, and PCF-12 began to retreat at full speed as the two mysterious aircraft tailed and stalked them, flickering in the night the whole time. Second engine man Jim Steffes would later claim that he got a good look at the craft and described them as having “a rounded front like an observation halo,” and what looked like “two crewmen sitting side by side.”

Strangely, although no weapons could be seen mounted on the unidentified aircraft, PCF-12 nevertheless found itself being fired upon. Steffes remembered seeing tracer rounds piercing up into the night from the nearby base Point Dume, with their targets being what he said were other far-off blinking circular lights whizzing about in the sky above. Eventually, a group of Phantom F4 fighter jets arrived to converge upon and chase off the strange lights that were plaguing PCF-12 out to sea, leaving the crew to wonder what in the hell had just happened. Air Command repeatedly claimed no U.S. Aircraft was not in the area of the sinking of PC-19 on the night of this tragedy. Editor’ Note: Actually, you could get control of missiles with an alternating magnetic field. UFOs have taken control of intercontinental missiles as early as 1962, so it’s likely air to air missiles could also be controlled. The 2018 release of a Navy patent provides a compelling answer to what had happened during the recall. The carriers were secretly equipped with powerful electromagnetic “Tesla” shields that could neutralize all hypersonic and ballistic missile threats.

General Brown stated, “I don’t know whether this story has ever been told or not. They weren’t called UFOs. They were called enemy helicopters. And they were only seen at night, and they were only seen in certain places. They were seen up around the DMZ in the early summer of ’68. And this resulted in quite a little battle. And in the course of this, an Australian destroyer took a hit, and we never found any enemy, we only found ourselves when this had all been sorted out. And this caused some shooting there, and there was no enemy at all involved but we always reacted.”
Editor’s Note: I was the 7th Air Force Intelligence Officer Analyst for I Corps in Vietnam and I put out a Daily Intelligence Message about the Northern portion of South Vietnam that was sent all over the world and even to the White House. Almost every morning I briefed General Momyer who was later replaced by General Brown.
UFOs or enemy helicopters were often reported. I successfully predicted that the North Vietnamese would attack during the normal truce period during the Tet Holidays, when South Vietnamese soldier’s returnee home.
General Westmoreland, r the Supreme Commander of the United States Military Assistance Command Vietnam (MACV) was very upset with Captain Murphy and me for sending out our daily message predicting a major Communist attack, since he had just returned from the states giving speeches saying we were winning the war. I was severely criticized since the Army had no warning of any attacks and we were inexperienced at predicting Communist intentions.
Our Air Force units fortunately went on full alert based on our warning message and were able to divert the enemy attacks during Tet. Our road watch teams picked up Communist made tanks from China moving down the Ho Chi Minh trail, so I also predicted tank attacks near the DMZ. Again 7th Air Force Intelligence was severely creolized by General Westmorland, since North Vietnam had never attacked. with tanks.

My Air Force four stars General Momyer after being chewed out by General Westmorland chewed me out. Westmorland came down hard on me about my wild predictions that the North Vietnamese would attack in large numbers using tanks. The Army was not alerted, and the city of Hue was overrun by North Vietnamese troops for more than a month. I was told when the North Vietnamese attack occurred during the Tet Offensive and Lang Vie was overrun with tanks. I was suddenly a hero, and I was forgiven. The point is lower-level personnel are often correct since they watch real factual intelligence that is not published because politics often changes the truth at the top level.

The combination of the two is actually modern wokeism that was born in the United States,” said author of Woke Inc., Vivek Ramaswamy. he general consensus that was reached in these open discussions was that free speech in American society is being eroded by progressive ideology. The evening news is now fake news that ignores all bad news about the Biden Administration.
Over half evacuated from Afghanistan are mot those who helped us
Largely thanks to the CIA, Air Force, and Special Forces, the punitive expedition against the launching pad of 9/11 was swiftly completed, the primitive Taliban scattered, and an example made. Our military moved in for twenty years with numerous injured and 1800 men killed in combat, but virtually stopped terrorism from Afghanistan. . Their main job was to build an effective Afghan Army that was taught to fight with U.S. intelligence and air power. In July this support was removed, and the Afghan Army disintegrated, so the war in Afghanistan is not over despite our surrender and hurried evacuation. Now our enemy terrorists are ten times stronger with the enemy declaring they can now attack us with millions of dollars of our own weapons and equipment left behind in Afghanistan. The Taliban chose those we could evacuate. This is the biggest military blunder and defeat and disastrous withdrawal in the history of the United States.
Apparently over half the Afghans’ brought here are the wrong ones who did not help us
During the week top generals briefed Congress and they claim Biden clearly did not listen to his military commanders on Afghanistan. They claim they told him we should keep 2500 U.S. troops there that Afghan forces were doing the fighting and the situation was very stable. Essentially the Taliban and Issus would not take over and provide a serious terrorist threat to the US as long as the situation remained stable. Essentially the Taliban wintered in Pakistan or could retreat there whenever they wished creating a stalemate in the war The Taliban retreated each year to Pakistan during the winter and the evacuation could have happened then without Taliban interference. We give Billions to Pakistan every year, but they supported the Taliban throughout the war. Attacks on the Taliban bases in Pakistan could have destroyed the Taliban.
Our Top Generals briefing Congress appeared they had little Interest in winning the war’s just playing politician to get promoted. By leaving suddenly we have created millions of enemies on both sides who fought with us and against us. Our NATO allies are disgusted with us because many of their people are also still left behind. UNICIF has warned that this month that a million Afghan children are at risk of starvation. I’m personally embarrassed how thousands of our citizens were left behind because some particular date of retreat was decided by our Administration. The way we suddenly, left not keeping some air power and intelligence caused the Afghan Army to essentially give up. We will pay dearly in the future for this monumental mistake.
I was upset by the politicians and generals thinking and lack of planning. No thought was apparently given about the welfare of the people of Afghanistan or of the United States. We are under attack daily by Communi8st and terrorist forces every day which is ignored by the news media and government.” Several times the generals refereed o the State Department as running things
There is also the basic question of trust, over half the Afghans evacuated according to our soldiers were not those who supported our troops in the fighting. The Taliban were in control and decided who was sent to be evacuated. The Afghans were not rigorously vetted under the wild situation and quick time restraint of everybody out by August 30, put on by Biden. Many who were evacuated are possibly terrorists. When bad things happen, you can assume it sabotage like many of the wildfires being caused by arsonists. Thousands of Americans and most of those with Afghan s with Green Cards who helped our troops were left behind. It turns out the airlift evacuated fewer than half of the approved allies who held Special Immigrant Visas (SIV) holders. In fact, less than half of the 120,000 people were American citizens or Afghans who served alongside American troops with Green Cards and deserved to be evacuated.
To cover up the huge mistake of evacuating 60,000 questionable people, Democrats desperate to cover up the huge administration’s failure put in the budget bill authority to provide lifetime housing and welfare to half the undeserving evacuees. The generals made a point of how cooperative the Taliban were, probably because we were air lifting the wrong people. One person evacuated from Afghanistan to a U.S. military base in Germany is in custody after failing of a security screening.
General Milley was questioned about his contacting Chinese Generals who had just launched bio warfare on the US while Trump was president on several occasions telling then the U.S. military would not attack China. Several Senators said China could have attacked us knowing we were standing down and the General’s actions were treason and he should resign. H e answere, “I serve at the direction of Presdent Biden.” Milley siad did call Chinese communists, you know, the hostile regime highest militaryleader– to General. Li Zuocheng , the communist nation of China on two occasions and he did promise them in January that he would warn them if an attack by the President and our commander-in-chief was imminent.

Fox news claims it has been forty-six days and counting, hundreds of our fellow Americans, thousands of our allies, green card holders, all of their families, 5,000 all abandoned by that guy that got booed those lives in the White House. They not only got abandoned but they’re not lifting a finger to help them as they live now under the Taliban rule and terrorist rule.
The Administration is not allowing his own State Department to allow private charters — people are paying good money for those charters — to bring our citizen’s home. They’re not allowed to land them in the United States. The State Department says no that is one more treasonous activity the fake news does not report.
Reuters reported at least one plane left Afghanistan with 28 American citizens, six people with U.S. Immigration Visas, and 83 green card holders are being stashed at the hangar in Abu Dhabi. Fifty-nine of the evacuees are children. “The first justification was that there was no procedure by which American citizens could return to the United States on a charter flight, which we did not understand,” Project Dynamo’s Stan Bunner told Al Jazeera. U.S. officials also expressed concerns regarding evacuees potentially having Measles, but Bunner told the outlet that evacuees were confirmed to be up to date on measles vaccination and tested negative for coronavirus.
Amenities and conditions in the hangar are poor, Fox News reports. Evacuees are struggling “with limited food and water, no shower options, poor bathrooms, and restricted movement due to them being on an airfield, organizers say. Families are sleeping on tile floors and hard plastic chairs with limited access to potable water,” according to Fox.

Alaska Light
Kodiak– on September 25, 2021, two men saw a long cylinder of white light moving towards the mountains. They described it as a white streak of light, and both started filming. No sound was heard. The object was seen for nearly two minutes before being lost behind the mountains. Skies were mostly clear near sunset.
Note: The witnesses may have captured a contrail from a high-flying jet. I have had similar reports which turned out to have this explanation. This is “a more than likely” explanation. San Diego – on September 30, 2021, I took some interesting videos which reveal a galactic airport above the San Diego PACIFIC COAST. I am sharing it in hopes it illuminates doubt, amongst other things.

Port Huron – on September 29, 2021, was parked in my car in a parking lot along the St. Clair River maybe 200 ft? From the Blue Water bridge to take some photos (with cell phone) of a freighter. I didn’t notice the object in the photo until I went to edit them about 2-3 hours later and honestly not sure if it’s a UFO or not however it caught my attention. All photos are originals un-edited.

Rural Retreat– on September 25,2021, Noticed something weird about the Moon. A light has been seen below the Moon all over the world.

Puyallup –on September19, 2021, I noticed a very nice cloud formation covering the whole sky and decided to take a picture with my iPhone SE cell phone and posted two pictures. This morning I noticed the bluish bubble object on one photo. Not sure what the light bluish image is but it’s different from the cloud formation.

Cairns– on September 21, 2021, I have well over a hundred sightings of UFOs.
Similar photos were taken in New Jersey, Virginia of objects under the moon.
Brazil Lights
Itaquaquecetuba – on September 23, 2021 it’s not the first time I’ve seen these lights hope you’re wrong if it’s a UFO. Maybe it could be lights generated by spotlights in the video I’ve attached has the presence of white light coming from an event not too far away. But the first time I saw it I had not observed an event like this, and it was in another place, besides that I have heard reports from other people from different countries with the same characteristics in places that are not urban as the one I have seen in person.
Canada Light
Montreal – on September 19, 2021, I was on my balcony reading on my cell phone when a shiny and relatively big white light came from my left in the sky and caught my attention. It was glowing white on top, so I jumped on the camera to shot it in 4k. It flew right above me. The recording has some under exposition noises, but we still can see some details of the patterns. It looked like to emanate a kind of magnetic field (waves) which is look like changing frequencies.
