Bible Reports the Star of Bethlehem

The Bible states, “Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem, in Judea, during the reign of King Herod.” At about that time some magi (wise men) from the east arrived in Jerusalem, asking, ‘Where is the new born King of the Jews?’ for we have seen his star in the east, and have come to worship him.”

“After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the young child with his mother Mary, and bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.” (Mathew-2.)

Editor’s Note – Magi or wise men were astronomers or astrologers who lived in Persia or Babylonia hundreds of miles to the northwest of Jerusalem. They arrived in Jerusalem and spoke to Herod indicating they were likely of high rank possibly Kings or messengers from kings. We assume they were excellent witnesses. They had followed a star light for a great distance to get to Jerusalem. Now, they were overjoyed to see the same star that led them to Bethlehem five miles due south of Jerusalem. According to the scriptures the star moved south and stopped over the house where Jesus lived. Stars appear to cross the sky from east to west at 15 degrees per hour as the Earth rotates and do not stop or change direction.  It would be difficult for the wise men to follow a star as Quick as they move both day and night, and a miracle would be required for it to stop. And change direction one possible explanation is that they followed the light of a bright UFO. Of course God and his angels can do almost anything but the Bible is describing a light moving in weird directions from normal star movement.

Angels God’s Messengers from Heaven

 The scriptures and thousands of books tell us the Earth is being visited by angels from the planet Heaven. They appeared over a hundred times in the Bible to men. We celebrate Christmas throughout much of the world based on the birth of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago. The logical question is what has this to do with ET and UFOs?   I suggest there is a strong connection.

Dr. Carl Sagan in his book, “Intelligent Life in the Universe” indicated Earth had likely been visited by extraterrestrials. He states: “Sumer was an early–perhaps the first -civilization the contemporary sense on the planet Earth. It was founded in the forth millennium B.C. or earlier. We don’t know where the Sumerians came from. I feel that if the Sumerian civilization is depicted by the descendant’s of the Sumerians themselves to be of non-human origin, the relevant legends should be examined carefully.”

He goes on to ask, “What might an advanced extraterrestrial civilization want from us?”  ……He answers his own question by stating, “One of the primary motivations for the exploration of the New World was to convert the inhabitants to Christianity — peacefully if possible — forcefully if necessary. Can we exclude the possibility of an extraterrestrial evangelism?”

Few remember that Angels and their glowing craft had a key role in the Christmas story and history of diverse nations. Angels are celestial beings believed to be a messenger or mediator between God and humankind. In ancient Mesopotamia, ancient Greece, Judaism, and Christianity and in Islam angels were sent as divine messengers to humans to instruct, inform, or command. Angels apparently helped in the creation, and God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” Angels also function as heavenly warriors and as guardians.

Many abductees claim healing, love and miracles from the angels or aliens. Many angels are assumed to have the form of human males, and as a consequence they were sometimes mistaken for men.

Billy Graham, the evangelical minister and the friend of  US Presidents in his book, “Angels,” makes the following surprising statements,

“Some have speculated that UFOs could very well be a part of God’s angelic host who preside over the physical affairs of universal creation. While we cannot assert such a view with certainty nothing can hide the fact that these unexplained events are occurring with greater frequency around the entire world. Some take the detailed descriptions of a highly credible airline crew and lay them alongside Ezekiel and put forth a strong case —- such theories are now being given serious attention even by people who make no claim to believe in the God of the Bible. UFOs are astonishingly angel-like in some their reported appearances.”

Most of the description of angels compares nicely with our available data of at least one group of the alien visitors. In Genesis, the first book of the Bible and Torah; angels are described as having bodies with parts such as hands, feet, eyes, head, voices, mouths, hair, faces and other human body parts.

A few years ago, I had dinner with Zecharia Sitchin the best selling author of books called the “Earth Chronicles.” He told me that Genesis is true and ought to be read as a historic and scientific document rather than just a religious one. He felt ancient civilizations are older and much more technically advanced and scientifically oriented than we once believed. Ancient Sumerian texts as well as the Bible reveal the existence of angels or Anunnaki, ‘Those who from Heaven to Earth Came.’

                         Ezekiel and the Wheel

He felt that only in recent years has modern science caught up with ancient scientific knowledge. One interesting fact is that the Bible often mentions the angels in glowing metal craft. The Hebrew word ‘hashmal’ refers to glowing metal in the description of the divine glory and brightness and the appearance of fire from the craft. The descriptions of Ezekiel in the Bible (1:4, 8:2) clearly indicate brilliant highly polished glowing yellow like brass or electrum an alloy of silver and gold.

Throughout the Bible and Torah we are told that the angels were able to introduce life into old women and even virgins. For example, part of God’s covenant with Abraham and Sarah his barren 90 year old wife was to give them a son Isaac. The covenant also established circumcision as a sign that the Jewish people were part of God’s people and in turn they would be blessed with numerous descendants, material wealth and spiritual prosperity. Some of these births that appeared supernatural may have been accomplished by advanced technology.

John the Baptist was also born after the angel Gabriel appeared before Zechariah and his barren wife Elizabeth. Gabriel said,” Do not be afraid Zechariah, your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to give him the name John. He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord.” (Luke 1:13-25) According to the testimony of modern-day abductees similar births are occurring today.

The immaculate conception of Mary almost certainly occurred just as the Bible states; “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:35) The Immaculate Conception could be explained with the use of modern medical technology. The angel Gabriel could have artificially inseminated Mary so that she retained her virginity as the Bible indicates. Jesus would have been the result, and would in fact be the Son of God and the Son of Man (Mary).

The Living Bible states, these ae the facts concerning the birth of Jesus Christ. “His mother Mary was engaged to be married to Joseph. But while she was still a virgin she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph, her fiancé decided to break the engagement, as he did not want to disgrace her. He fell asleep and an angel spoke to him, “Joseph don’t hesitate to take Mary as your wife! For the child within her has been conceived by the Holy Spirit. And she will have a Son and you will name him Jesus (meaning ‘Savioir’) for he will save his people from their sins. This will fulfil God’s message through his prophets. Listen! The virgin shall conceive a child! She shall give birth to a Son, and he shall be called ‘Emmanuel’ (meaning God is with us)” (Matthew 1-18 to 25).

“That night some shepherds were in the fields guarding their flocks of sheep. Suddenly an angel appeared among them, and the landscape shone bright with the glory of the Lord. They were badly frightened, but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid! I bring you the most joyful news ever announced, and it is for everyone! The Savior-yes the Messiah, the Lord-has been born tonight in Bethlehem! How will you recognize him? You will find a baby wrapped in a blanket, lying in a manager! Suddenly the angel was joined by a vast host of others–armies of heaven-praising God: Glory to God in the highest heaven, they sang, “and peace on earth for all those pleasing him.” When this great army of angels had returned again to heaven, the shepherds said to each other. “Come on! Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this wonderful thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about. (Luke 2) The armies of heaven may describe UFOs that are often seen in large numbers.

If you care to make the assumption those angels and extraterrestrials exist, perhaps they are the same.

Many people I have met claim to have been saved by angels from various diseases, accidents, and drowning. I feel they have saved me in fire and aircraft crash. If you have an emergency situation I urge you to ask Jesus Christ to send his angels to save you. It has worked for me and my wife.

 President Reagan Chased UFOs

On June 12, 1987, President Ronald Reagan spoke the people of West Berlin at the base of the Brandenburg Gate, near the Berlin wall stating, “. Mr. Gobachev, Tear down this wall.” The speech began the destruction of Soviet Communism.

Ronald Reagan claimed to have seen UFOs on at least  two occasions. Allegedly, before he was governor of California, he and Nancy were on their way up the Pacific coast highway to a dinner party. They arrived half an hour late and distraught saying they had seen a UFO and that was why they were late. They did not explain the time delay and may have had a life-altering experience for the two of them if not an actual abduction experience. Later when Governor of California, he asked his pilots to chase a UFO.

He alerted the Navy to one of his sightings, and he and Nancy believed that Egyptian hieroglyphics referenced extraterrestrial flying crafts.

On June 8, 1982, President Reagan spoke to the British House of Commons and called the Soviet Union an “Evil Empire.”Almost a year later, President Reagan in a television speech announced on March 23, 1983, the US was building the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) later known as the “Star Wars” program. The system was designed to destroy missiles in flight.

In 1985, at the summit meeting Soviet premier, Mikhail Gorbachev states, Reagan surprised me by asking, “What would you do if the United States were suddenly attacked by someone from outer space; would you help us?” I said, ‘No doubt about it.'” “He said, ‘We would help you too.”

Triangle UFOs Prepare to Attack

“At our meeting in Geneva, the U.S. President said that if the earth faced an invasion by extraterrestrials, the United States and the Soviet Union would join forces to repel such an invasion.  I shall not dispute that hypothesis.” Gorbachev confirmed the earlier Geneva conversation in a speech to the Central Committee in the Grand Kremlin Palace.

In the Summit Meeting in Iceland during October of 1986, astonishingly, Reagan offered to share the Stars Wars weapons system with the Soviets. The Star Wars system was the most expensive weapons system ever conceived and parts are still being designed and built and had the capability so shooting down UFOs.

That alien space invaders scenario was so compelling to Reagan that he repeated it in public speeches, on multiple occasions, while president. Reagan talked about this alien threat all the time, to the apparent consternation of his staff and was receiving UFO data on a regular basis.

I occasionally think how quickly our differences would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world. And yet, I ask you, IS NOT AN ALIEN FORCE ALREADY AMONG US?”

Soviet Communist KGB sources claim during the late 1980s large triangular craft were attacking Soviet installations. These drawings were provided to me by a Soviet Colonel who felt this was the real cause of the demise of Soviet Communism. I said, “We were told financial weakness was the cause.” He indicated they were in better financial shape than in many previous years. .

The Soviet Union mysteriously gave up its position as one of the world’s greatest powers and splintered into multiple nations. Its leader at the time was Mikhail Gorbachev who has made several public statements about the reality of a covert extraterrestrial presence visiting Earth. He stated, ‘The phenomenon of UFO’s does exist, and it must be treated seriously.’ The Russian anti-missile-missile system remains in operation today as the upgraded A-135 anti-ballistic missile system.

 General Assessment of Extraterrestrial Life by Col. Don Ware

In 1952, at age 16, I developed a strong curiosity about flying saucers after observing seven of them over Washington, D.C. They were in the restricted area over the White House.

  I later attended Duke University, and the greatest lesson I learned was how to think. I read all I could find about UFOs throughout my 26 years as an Air Force officer, and I came to know six people in the service who had seen alien vehicles up close. In 1970 I earned a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering with the idea in the back of my mind that it would help me to understand the advanced science of our visitors. After exploring much of the world, I retired at age 47 and became a UFO investigator. With more time to use as I chose, I soon realized that man’s greatest invention is the book, any non-fiction book. Books allow us to condense the knowledge gained during a lifetime and then to pass it on to seekers of that knowledge.

In 1989, after studying and learning more about the non-physical aspects of the universe, I was used by a higher intelligence to send a message to the generals at Eglin Air Force Base. I had worked there for three years as a test manager. I did not understand what the message was about, because it was slightly garbled by the channel through which it came. However, I chose to act upon it. The message was apparently of considerable significance to those for whom it was sent. I now see that that choice of mine was the passing of a test that allowed me to have further participation in the transformation process. I then received 15 messages through seven different sources that appear to have come from a higher intelligence, each using one of three telepathic processes. I started to pay attention. One of the messages said, “…Individuals such as Donald Ware have a mission whether they have yet fully recognized it. They are to show that science and spirituality are two sides of one coin and cannot be separated…” This is quite a challenge, but I chose to accept it. I think that many people, some in important positions, have been given similar challenges.

General Assessment

I see a connection among the various “UFO” stories that have survived through the millennia, stories often recorded in religious writings. Some involve transformational issues. I accept the idea that intelligent life is abundant throughout the universe, in both incarnate and discarnate forms. We continue to live after shedding these physical bodies. Our true being is the spirit within us, rather than our bodies. For example, we do not become less of a human being if we lose an arm or a leg.

Evidence from thousands of “UFO” cases and related phenomena indicates that the normal means of communication by higher intelligence is telepathic, whether that intelligence is an alien in physical form or an unseen spiritual teacher. The direct projection of thought allows communication
between beings with different physical form.

A higher intelligence that chooses to read our thoughts can do so. Communication with higher intelligence now involves many people around the world. Millions of Americans are participating in a hybridization program with short beings from Zeta reticuli. The resulting hybrid has a larger brain and greater telepathic ability. The new body is being developed to house our souls as many of us Earthlings join a galactic society. This same body will house some Zeta reticuli souls. This is a joint human/Zeta program. I think that communication with some world leaders long ago led to alien liaison.

I think that galactic societies have a “prime directive” that limits interference with lesser-evolved species such as us. This concept is fed to us repeatedly on the Fox network through the Star
Trek series. The main reason alien liaison is increasing now is because our planet is being transformed to support a new world order.

This process involves the evolution of the soul. The new order is destined to support a learning process that is one step beyond the human experience of free-will choices. It is the experience of learning to develop unconditional love of others. I think this outcome is unlikely unless the selfish or negative souls stop re-incarnating here. I hope, for the sake of our stressed environment, that we will get this kind of divine assistance. If this happens, then the new world order can become what Jesus described as heaven on Earth.

Many of the above ideas have inspired secret societies. For centuries the secrecy has been required for self-protection. I think the Bilderburgers, the Tri-lateral Commission, and the Council on Foreign Relations in America is influenced by alien liaison. I think some of their members have accepted a challenge to help bring about a new world order just as I accepted a personal challenge in 1989 to help bridge the gap between science and spirituality. I think many members of these groups recognize that having a government that can speak for all of the people of the world is a prerequisite to joining a galactic society. However, because of strong nationalistic feelings, there is strong resistance to establishing a world government. This resistance is driven primarily by greed, hate or fear. I think these are feelings that we can overcome, given some divine assistance. Fortunately, I see progress being made. We now have only one super-power in military might. Economies are coalescing into three major economic blocks, and advanced communication and transportation systems are allowing a great inter-mingling of societies.

I think the US government did recover an alien vehicle in 1947. I think the aliens flew around in the restricted area over the White House in 1952 because they wanted to make us aware of their presence. I think President Eisenhower did have a meeting with aliens after being given a demonstration of their technology at Edwards AFB in 1954. Most people did not accept this story,
because the widest exposure was in the National Enquirer. (I wonder who put it there.)

MJ-12 must have existed in the 1950s much as described in Admiral Hillencoetter’s briefing document [1]. I think MJ-12 continues to exist in some form.

In 1953 the Robertson panel found, in essence, that it is in the national interest to keep the public from getting too excited about our alien visitors. While some people insert disinformation into major “UFO” cases, others are covertly raising our awareness of a larger reality through a variety of means. The disinformation provides a control lever for our covert agents to influence public
reaction to major “UFO” events and to covertly released documents. And the educational programs are carefully designed to mold our thinking about our visitors without forcing us to accept any ideas,
without violating the prime directive of the aliens with whom some

A study, conducted by David C Reardon since Roe vs. Wade decision by the Liberal Supreme Court sixty one million (61000, 000) innocent and defenseless babies have been killed.. Destiny has taken   Ruth Ginsberg’s life and given the Supreme Court a Conservative new member in Amy Barrette to stop or limit the Genocide. “Planned Parenthood bragged a million three hundred babies were murdered last year. And they appeared under oath in court on Sep 04, 2019, and admitted supplying the cut up body parts of children in the womb to for-profit brokers like Stem Express. “Elliot Institute studied 173,000 American women who either had abortions or carried to term. Reardon was described in the New York Times Magazine as the “Moses” of the “post-abortion movement”.

Reardon found that women who aborted were 154% more likely to commit suicide than women who gave birth. Another survey cited by David Reardon in his book Aborted Women, Silent No More (Springfield, IL: Acorn Books, 2002) stated, “Up to 60% of women who had abortions had subsequent suicidal feelings, with 28% actually attempting 364,000 suicide ‘per year… Help stop one million women from attempting suicide in the next four years!- Elliot Institute is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to research, education and outreach regarding the effects of abortion on women, men, families and society. UFO Sightings in the United States

Moreno Valley – On December 10, 2020, this was not a UFO, but something created this. Do you have any idea? It was a speck in the sky when I saw it. I took a photo using a Sony 200 to600mm zoom with Sony A6400 with a1.5x crop. This gave me an effective 900mm focal length.

It was stationary for a long time or drifted very slowly. This was taken, at 11:30 AM. looking southeast.

Additional Comments From Witness: A balloon that is what I was thinking. It was so strange, so bright against other clouds that day. I was just asking if anyone knew if any kind of aircraft could produce this formation, like breaking the sound barrier. I wish I had a much longer lens; I could have gotten more details.

Lompoc-– On November 11, 2020, I’m being mind controlled by an alien while they are learning to use me to talk with and to control my mind for the last 5 years. Stared with a little then has been escalating over time while they ask me about people and other things about humans. I’m posting this in hopes this will stop because this is hurting my brain and I’m losing memories and felling of brain damage.

Florida Lights

Melbourne – On December 15, 2020, what did I video in space last night with my Nikon P1000 camera? Watch the whole video closely and notice the 5 spokes within the wheel.
It did not move and was stationary like a star or planet, which I thought it was.
It was straight up in the night sky and was one of the brighter objects next to some stars.
I have video and photos of it from around a half hour period.
Was going to see if it was in the same spot last night, however there was complete cloud cover.
I thought it was a star when I zoomed in on it with my Nikon P1000 camera on full zoom.
It does not seem like a lens flare as it has the same position of the spokes and holes in every photo, video and zoom range.

Illinois Object

Chicago – On December 15, 2020, I saw a shiny object from my window in high rise apartment in downtown Chicago. Object was moving around and seemed to be heading west first I thought it could be a balloon that was shining from the sun reflection but it seemed bigger and decided to get it on video. After zooming in and further analyzing the video it looks like a saucer/disk/ship. It went fast, I was able to look at it for about 10-15 seconds before grabbing my phone and recording it a 6 second video before it disappeared from my field of vision. As you can see in the video the object maneuvered and did some kind of flip in which you can see the bottom angle of the disk as well. I would like to note that I saw a helicopter flying in the distance shortly after seeing the object (might be unrelated but mentioning just in case); the helicopter was not flying on the same direction where I saw the UFO in more detail: Object was silver/chrome all around and very shiny/reflective.

Indiana Object

Avon — I accidentally captured this while filming the solar eclipse on August 17, 2017. I tried to zoom in as much as I could.

Westville – On December 15, 2020, my video cameras observed a ball of fire type object hovering in the distance. At this point the fire was very bright and almost looks like it’s turning or spinning. It looks like it continues on a straight path and then rises into the sky. Attached are the video of the incident and a photo in the daylight showing landmarks.

Montana Cylinder

Three Forks – On December 8 2020, his was the first opportunity to photograph a reasonable quality object, This object was not in a hurry as I observed it for well over 30 min. watching the entire time for possible wings, blades, sound, speed, direction, color change,
The object was stationary for a long period of time, then moved extremely slowly SE and upwards until out of sight with altitude.

New Jersey Cylinder

Bayville — Night of 12/14/20 at roughly 11:30pm I went outside my home to attempt to observe activity from the Leonid Meteor Shower. A few minutes in I observed at object shimmering/pulsating to the South of my home at a high elevation. Watching the object over a 25-30 minute window I observed it moving diagonal as well as north to south over its flight path, as well as hover for durations of time. Its movements and pulsating light were like nothing I’ve ever seen before. In way could this object be confused for conventional, military aircraft, drones or helicopters? There was no sound from the object. I took photos of the object with and without a flash, as well as recorded two 40 second videos of the object showing it in relations to the stars in the night sky as well as discussing its movement. The photo showed an object without any common mechanics of planes, etc. asks the flashed Verizon should the aura surrounding a spherical object.

Virginal Cylinder

Chesapeake – August 28, Saw cylindrical object with thicker fore and aft sections that were larger diameter than middle section, with blackish details (which may have been shadows) on silvery metallic surface areas. Noted immediately it had no wings. No control surfaces such as tail rudder or elevator. First viewed in Northeast flying in straight line toward me at about the same height and speed as a small plane, then at closest point almost directly overhead. Sun was going down in west so object was in full light. Only saw it because I had been observing particularly interesting cloud formations of several different kinds.

Wyoming Triangle

Cody – July 26, 2020, a man was watching a YouTube video which was listed as being 10 minutes in duration. He sensed that something came through the basement where he was watching the video. He came to 3 hours later not knowing what had happened. There were other people in the house, but they were all upstairs. The other people in the house didn’t see anything unusual. The man said that he felt like he has been “watched and followed” for sometime which has caused him to be quite frightened. The next day the man’s next door neighbor came by and showed him a photo of a triangular object that he saw in the sky. Belgium Lights

Antwerp – On December 16, 2020, 3 glowing orbs spotted above Antwerp, Belgium. They were quite big, and it lasted about 1 minute. They stayed in the same spot before moving and disappearing behind a nearby building and never seen again. I took 2 videos and combined them into one.

Canada Sphere

Oshawa –On December 12, 2020, can’t believe I saw my first UFO after 45 years! I was driving north on Simcoe street in Oshawa, when I spotted this UFO, I pulled into a plaza and started recording, it was amazing, I have been a ufo believer since I was 15 and I couldn’t believe my eyes, I finally seen one and I’m 57 now , it was worth the wait!!!

Eire Lights

Blessington – On December 15, 2020, I saw 4-5 bright lights observed over mountainous area. Some that just appear, very bright, one observed coming from the sky. All forms light up sky around like an aura. Very odd occurrence as lights were very bright, too bright to be Chinese lanterns and appeared randomly….so definitely not flares. Objects appear to land and appear randomly, then as fast as they appeared. They all disappeared and area plunged into darkness, ruling out fire and/or other flammable objects.

Mexico Objects

Santa Rosalie –May 23, 20019, had taken from Federal Highway 1 in Baja just north west of Santa Rosalie. 3 objects caught in photo of the res Virgenes Volcano objects moved too fast to be man made

Saudi Arabia Object

al-kharj – On December 18, 2020, first I thought it was a cloud but I noticed that if was moving. I thought it was just a meteor but when I tried to take a video for the first time, it disappeared and it re appeared a few seconds later and that was the time I started taking a video.

Switzerland Space Object

In March it looks like a giant wheel moving from the left site to our planet.
It’s a Picture from Stereo H2 Satellite from far away, on the right of the picture, I see the Sun.

UK/England Lights

Portsmouth – On October 16, 2020, – 17:45 GMT myself and my girlfriend went on my balcony and saw bright lights in the sky in a triangle shape up to my left. My girlfriend grabbed her phone and my binoculars as there was something strange in the sky.
The whole sighting lasted 3 minutes from start to finish. For the first 45 seconds or so the lights all appeared to be the same size and shape, something resembling a circle or oval, spaced out in the shape of a traditional isosceles triangle. After about 45 seconds, however, the 3 lights visible started moving independently of one another. The lights were more rectangular/cigar shaped, for the first 45 seconds or so, before the objects started moving independently of one another it appeared as though the object was either stationary in the sky or moving very slowly towards my position. The object(s) in its original the above account took place two months ago, but I still remember it vividly.

Wellicht probeert het universum de aarde een boodschap te sturen. Astronomen hebben mogelijk de eerste radiosignalen van een planeet buiten het zonnestelsel ontdekt, schrijft The Independent.

De radiosignalen lijken afkomstig te zijn van een exoplaneet, zo zeggen de onderzoekers. Ze hebben hun onderzoeksresultaten gepubliceerd in het tijdschrift Astronomy & Astrophysics. De radiostraling komt uit Ossenhoeder, een sterrenbeeld aan de noordhemel.

“Het signaal is afkomstig uit het Tau Boötis-stelsel, dat een dubbelster en een exoplaneet bevat,” zei Jake D. Turner van de Cornell-universiteit in New York. “Volgens ons is het signaal veroorzaakt door de planeet zelf.” Er is meer onderzoek nodig om de oorsprong van het signaal te bevestigen.

De astronomen ontdekten de radiostraling met behulp van een Nederlandse radiotelescoop. De planeet in het stelsel is een hete Jupiter, die minstens net zo zwaar is als onze buurplaneet, maar die veel dichter bij zijn ster staat.

Andere radiotelescopen

Als wetenschappers in staat blijken om de radiosignalen van andere werelden te analyseren, kunnen ze meer te weten komen over hun magnetische veld. Dat kan hen meer vertellen over de samenstelling van de planeet en de atmosfeer. Ze kunnen vervolgens vaststellen of zo’n planeet bewoonbaar is.

Het signaal is vrij zwak en dus zijn de astronomen van plan om andere radiotelescopen in te zetten. Die kunnen wellicht bevestigen of de raadselachtige signalen daadwerkelijk afkomstig zijn van een andere planeet buiten ons zonnestelsel.
