Astronomers See Stars Slinging Comets at Earth for the First Time

Stars and comets make unlikely dance partners. Their gravitational partnership is one that astronomers have long suspected but have never seen — until now. For the first time, a Polish group has identified two nearby stars that seem to have plucked up their icy partners, swinging them into orbits around our sun. 

The astronomers found the stellar duo after studying the movements of over 600 stars that came within 13 light-years of the sun. The new findings validate a theory born more than a half-century ago, and in doing so have also shown just how rare these stellar dances can be. 

Out on the far edge of the solar system, hanging like wallflowers around the planetary dance floor, is the Oort Cloud. This icy group of objects were left over after the formation of the solar system, creating a giant shell enveloping our home system that extends from 66 times the distance to Neptune to 9.23 trillion miles (14.9 trillion kilometers) away from the sun. Astronomers think the Oort Cloud is a reservoir for long-period comets — those that take more than 200 years to orbit the sun. Comet Hale-Bopp, which has a 2,500-year orbit, is one of the most famous of these long-period comets.

Since the cloud's existence was first proposed by Jan Oort in the 1950s, astronomers have suspected that every so often, a passing star might be able to pick up an object and send it swinging on a wild ride through our solar system; that ride would bring some of those comets streaming through the night sky for us to marvel at. Astronomers have spent years trying to find proof of these stellar dances, but none had been conclusively shown until now. 

A new paper, accepted for publication in the journal Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society and published on the preprint database arXiv, describes how astronomers calculated the paths of nearly 650 stars, which they compared with the orbits of over 270 long-period comets. The study used a catalogue from the Gaia spacecraft, which has measurements for some 1.7 billion astronomical objects, along with surveys like Pan-STARRS, which looks for asteroids, comets and other small bodies in our solar system. 

They created models for the star-comet pairs to rewind and replay their history. The astronomers then would "remove" a star from their model to see if that significantly changed the partner comet's orbit. If it did, the astronomers would know that the stars had tangoed with the comets.

"In our study, we discovered only two cases in which this actually happened, and yet, we observe dozens of comets every year," lead study author Rita Wysoczańska, an astronomer at the Institute Astronomical Observatory at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland, told Live Science. "At this moment, we can say that the mechanism proposed by Oort is not sufficient enough to generate all comets we observe."

It's likely that the collective gravitational force of more distant stars can boost comets into long-period orbits. And once a comet enters the solar system, it can be further perturbed by the planets therein.

"I think, in general, it is hard to associate a particular comet with a particular star," said Coryn Bailer-Jones, an astronomer at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Germany, who was not involved with the new study. "We must also consider the contribution of the galactic background potential, which is essentially the influence of all the other much more distant, but also much more numerous, stars in the galaxy." 

Creating computer models to look at all of those influences, something called a multibody model, is a much more complex and computationally intensive task. 

Additionally, information doesn't yet exist for every star. With current data, the astronomers had to rely on estimates for some of the stellar masses and movements. The astronomers hope that a future data release of the stellar survey they used can help shed more light on comet-star interactions.

Three Possible Reasons Why Aliens Abduct Humans

As I write this post, I keep reminding myself that lots of perfectly sane and accomplished individuals have experienced a UFO sighting and/or alien encounter. Actually, many have had numerous experiences. Truth is, even though I count myself among the latter group, I’m not going to pretend I have every answer to every universal question ever asked. I don’t. But from my perspective, one thing is for certain: we are most definitely not alone. And frankly, considering the destructive technologies numerous countries have in their arsenals, I for one, am grateful to know this experientially.

At first blush, my own ET experiences felt like something out of a sci-fi/horror film. The first act being something like, the protagonist experiences victimization at the hands of Grey aliens, leading to alienation from those around her. But here’s the thing. The longer I’ve sat with this, the more it seems that my overall experiences were intended to accomplish several things, and not all of them were centered on little ol’ me.

So what was the alien agenda?

First of all, I tend to think there is definitely something going on with DNA extraction. Does taking my DNA necessarily mean it is being used for nefarious purposes? No. However, it does not disprove this popular theory, either. Since I personally believe in the Twelve Spiritual Laws of the Universe, I’m going to go on a limb and suggest that the outcome from these purported DNA extractions will ultimately prove to be positive. Who knows, maybe a stronger and smarter species will evolve from this genetic experimentation/manipulation. Maybe this will serve to adapt humankind to Earth’s changing environment, another planet’s environment, or advanced interstellar travel.

Secondly, the fact that some experiencers, such as myself, recall alien encounters occurring all the way back to early childhood, suggests that maybe we are supposed to remember. At least, just enough. In my case, I remember not only bits and pieces of what happened immediately before and during the abduction, I recall reporting the experience to my mother. Of course she had no way of knowing the three monsters in my bedroom were in fact, small Grey aliens. Nor could she have predicted that I did my very best every night to not fall asleep, only to eventually go through a similar experience a few weeks later.

This begs the question, why would aliens want me to remember parts of this and other experiences? Simply put, I suspect it may serve as a way to quietly accomplish what the U.S. government was unwilling or unable to do. That being full disclosure about the fact that we are not alone. Additionally, it's very likely that our cosmic cousins want us to abolish our nuclear technologies and other WMDs, take care of one another - both locally and globally, and clean up/ learn to live in harmony with our beautiful planet.

Thirdly, they may have wanted to build a relationship over time with certain abductees, so they would eventually function as starseeds, lightworkers or both. Starseeds spread divine light by seeding energy into new systems. They are beings who exist here on earth in a human body, but their soul may have originated from somewhere else, (i.e. another planet, star system, galaxy, dimension or even a different (parallel) universe). On the other hand, a lightworker is a person who connects to the inter-dimensional energies around Earth and is psychic and highly intuitive. Lightworkers simply know what other people are thinking, feeling, or need in order to heal.

To be honest, I am slightly psychic and highly intuitive, but I have always felt that I came from somewhere else. This suggests that I might be both a starseed and a lightworker, but of course, only time will tell.

University deletes bizarre press release that claimed alien insects live on Mars

The claim that extraterrestrial beasties are living on Mars always sounded too good to be true.

Now the university which published a press release which alleged insects had been spotted on Mars has performed a dramatic u-turn.

Last week, Professor Emeritus William Romoser, an entomologist from Ohio University, said images captured by Nasa’s Mars rovers clearly show ‘fossilised and living creatures’ on the Red Planet’s surface.

‘There has been and still is life on Mars,’ Romoser said in a press release which has now been deleted from the Ohio University website as well as wire services which distribute releases to journalists.

We found a poster of his research online, which is still available to read, which suggested Nasa is already ‘acquainted with Martian insect- and reptile-like creatures’ which live on Mars.

‘It appears that the “Red Planet” enjoys a surprising abundance of higher life forms,’ the paper continued.

The research analysed images sent back to Earth by the Mars Rover and made several astonishing allegations.

It suggested that creatures resembling ‘bees’ lived on Mars as well as reptile-like animals which preyed on them.

‘The insect-like fauna observed appeared to be sheltering/nesting in caves, in burrows beneath the surface, and in specialized structures,’ the paper continued.

Rosomer’s claims made international headlines last week.

‘There is apparent diversity among the Martian insect-like fauna which display many features similar to Terran insects that are interpreted as advanced groups – for example, the presence of wings, wing flexion, agile gliding/flight, and variously structured leg elements.’

He said the rovers have snapped pictures which ‘clearly depict the insect- and reptile-like forms’.

The scientist even suggested one image shows a living insect ‘in a steep dive before pulling up just before hitting the ground’.

‘Once a clear image of a given form was identified and described, it was useful in facilitating recognition of other less clear, but none-the-less valid, images of the same basic form,’ Romoser said.

‘An exoskeleton and jointed appendages are sufficient to establish identification as an arthropod. Three body regions, a single pair of antennae, and six legs are traditionally sufficient to establish identification as “insect” on Earth.

‘These characteristics should likewise be valid to identify an organism on Mars as insect-like. On these bases, arthropodan, insect-like forms can be seen in the Mars rover photos.’

Romoser said the Martian ‘creatures’ loosely resemble bumblebees or carpenter bees on Earth.

He suggested the ‘bees’ appearing to shelter or nest in caves and claimed other images show a fossilized creature that resembles a snake.

Romoser was an entomology professor at Ohio University for 45 years and co-founded its Tropical Disease Institute. He also spent nearly 20 years as a visiting vector-borne disease researcher at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases. Between 1973 and 1998, Romoser authored and co-authored four editions of the widely-used textbook called ‘The Science of Entomology’.

Romoser noted that ‘interpretations of insect- and reptile-like creatures he described may change in the future as knowledge of life on Mars evolves, but that the sheer volume of evidence is compelling’.

‘The presence of higher metazoan organisms on Mars implies the presence of nutrient/energy sources and processes, food chains and webs, and water as elements functioning in a viable, if extreme, ecological setting sufficient to sustain life,’ he said.

‘I have observed instances suggestive of standing water or small water courses with evident meander and with the expected blurring of small submerged rocks, larger emergent rocks at the atmosphere/water interface, a moist bank area, and a drier area beyond the moist area. Water on Mars has been reported a number of times, including surface water detected by instrumentation on Viking, Pathfinder, Phoenix, and Curiosity.

‘The evidence of life on Mars presented here provides a strong basis for many additional important biological as well as social and political questions,” he added. It also represents a solid justification for further study.’

NASA Photo Captures Strange Alien Vessel In Earth’s Orbit, UFO Expert Claims

AUFO expert claimed that NASA’s photo of the Moon accidentally showed a strange-looking alien spacecraft hovering in low-Earth orbit. According to the expert, the alleged UFO in the photo is a rare one due to its shape.

The strange object was spotted by Scott Waring of the UFO-centered blog ET Data Base. He came across the object in a photo featured in the website Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth, which houses a collection of images taken during NASA’s space missions.

The particular photo that Waring focused on was taken during the STS-39 mission of the Space Shuttle Discovery, which was launched on April 28, 1991. The main objective of the mission was to conduct payload experiments for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Shortly after leaving Earth, the mission’s astronauts took a photo of the Moon from space. In the photo, the Moon can be seen in the center with a portion of Earth right below it.

In the source website, parts of the photo can be enlarged by moving the cursor over it. As noted by Waring, placing the cursor near the lower right-hand corner of the photo would reveal an image of a strange object just outside Earth.

Unlike other UFOs, the object in the photo has a very strange shape and resembles a lightning bolt. According to Waring, he had never seen an alien vessel shaped like that before.

“I was searching through NASA archive photo and saw this beautiful moon photo taken from the Shuttle Discovery,” Waring wrote on a blog post. “I didn't think I would find anything at the time, just thought it was a beautiful photo. I enlarged it and put it into autofocus and found something amazing. There was a black lightning bolt UFO in the lower right-hand corner of the photo. I have never ever reported a UFO of this shape. It's very rare and unlike anything I had come to expect.”

Although Waring strongly believes that the object is a UFO that’s closely monitoring Earth, there could be a natural explanation behind it. Based on the image, it is possible that the object’s appearance was caused by a flaw in the photo.

Thousands of Government UFO Reports Now Available at Canadian University

The attack set Michalak's shirt and hat ablaze, and left him with first-degree burns on his stomach that echoed the ship's grid-like pattern. A hospital in Winnipeg treated his burns, which later rose into welts, and he suffered headaches, diarrhea and blackouts for several weeks after. Michalak relayed the incident to both U.S. and Canadian authorities, and he eventually completed a physical and psychological evaluation at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. The clinic determined that Michalak was of sound mind and not hallucinating. 

Years later, a twisted piece of metal was recovered from the alleged Falcon Lake landing site. Tests showed the metal to be highly radioactive. To this day, neither the Canadian nor U.S. military has been able to explain the event.

8 Mysterious Underwater Ruins of Lost Civilizations

Tales and myths of lost civilizations have been told since the dawn of time. The most famous is the story of Atlantis: a quasi-mythical city that sunk beneath the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Whether the story is true or not, it fills people with intrigue.

Today, archaeologists have discovered there are many sunken cities around the globe. Underwater excavations are difficult and expensive, so these investigations have only recently revealed many lost civilizations.

Around the planet, there are many not so mythical cities found underwater. Some can be traced back through history, yet many remain mysterious and continue to spark people’s imagination as candidates for lost civilizations.

Here are 8 underwater cities of lost civilizations you may not have heard of:

1) Ancient Greece: the sunken city of Pavlopetri.

Found in the south of modern-day Greece is the sunken city of Pavlopetri. Dating back 5000 years it is now more than four meters underwater and is the first lost city to be found around Greece. It is thought to have sunk around 1000BC due to an earthquake that shifted the land around many of the Greek islands.

From what has been so far uncovered at the site, the ancient cities layout resembles many modern-day cities. Well-designed roads, houses, gardens, temples, complex water management systems, and huge buildings have so far been found.

The entire city is so far known to be at least 80,000 square meters in size, with a vast open plaza in the center of these sunken ruins

2) Yonaguni Jima, The Japanese Atlantis.

The Island of Yonaguni is just miles away from Taiwan and is the last of the Ryukyu islands. It is the westernmost inhabited Japanese island. During the ice age, Yonaguni Island was part of the Chinese mainland. Then due to rising oceans and land shifts, it became one of the many islands that were spread out in between China and Japan. It was once part of the Ryukyu Kingdom until it was overtaken by Japan.

Although these ruins have never been properly researched, many claims are surrounding its origins and dating. These vary from between 10,000 to 5,000 years old. Controversy surrounds the validity of the sunken city, which according to some researchers, was once home to the legendary Jomon civilization that flourished in ancient Japan from around 12,000 to 300BC. It was this civilization that has some of the oldest found forms of pottery.

Regardless of their validity, the ruins have been submerged for at least two thousand years, meaning whatever was once there, would be extremely degraded.

Some geologists argue the formations found at Yonaguni Jima are naturally occurring. They comprise of many 90-degree angles that appear as manmade steps and passageways, as well as a few circular holes carved in stones around the site.

Although these sorts of formations are found in nature, the high amount in such close proximity has inspired many to investigate the mysterious underwater ruins in search of a lost civilization.

3) The Submerged castle in Lake Van, Turkey.

Sitting below the waters of the Middle-East’s second largest lake is a 3000-year-old castle. Thought to be the remains of the ancient Urartu civilization, the castle is around a kilometer in length, with walls of up to four meters tall.

This lost civilization once thrived in modern-day Turkey, Iran, and Armenia. Although much of the ruins are under the lake, there are still remnants that can be seen by the lakes edges.

4) Mahabalipuram, India

The sunken ruins of Mahabalipuram lie between 6-8 meters below the current sea level off the coast of South Eastern India. Local folklore long spoke of the existence of ancient ruins, although was mainly confined to fishermen’s tales and thought of as myth.

However, when a tsunami devastated much of Asia in 2004, it revealed that the stories of the lost civilization were true after all.

As the waters receded around 500 meters before the tsunami hit, they pulled away silt and sand that had built up around the monuments that were until then buried at sea.

Since then, there has been a much more serious attempt in researching these sunken ruins.

5) Heracleion, Egypt. The Lost City of Cleopatra.

Submerged for at least 1600 years, the lost city of Cleopatra has been found off the shores of Alexandria in Egypt. Cleopatra was the last Pharaoh of ancient Egypt, and it was thought that her city was lost to rising seas as a consequence of an earthquake and resulting tidal waves. Pristine statues, and temples have been discovered at the site so far, many of which are in excellent condition.

Statues of Isis, a sphinx, and large red granite columns, as well as foundations of a palace, are among the relics found at the site. Around 20,000 objects have been located in the lost underwater city.

One object recovered from the water is a 2,000-year-old stone figurine of Cleopatra III: a Ptolemaic queen, but depicted as the Egyptian goddess Isis and sculpted in a style that combines both Egyptian and Greek aesthetics.

The findings revealed that Thonis (Egyptian) and Heracleion (Greek) were the same cities.

Cleopatra reigned during the times of the Ptolemaic dynasty, which ruled over Egypt from around 305bc to 30bc. 

6) The Sunken City of Olous, Crete.

The island of Crete is bordered by an ancient Sunken Minoan City.

What was once part of the Minoan civilization, Olous is an underwater city that was once home to over 40,000 people. Between the 5^th and 2^nd century BC, Olous is thought to have reached its peak, making up one of around 100 Minoan cities that thrived around ancient Crete.

Although no one knows exactly what happened to Olous, it is thought that it gradually submerged due to rising sea levels. It is interesting to note that the east coast of Crete is sinking into the sea, while the west coast is rising slowly.

Crete is slowly but surely migrating west. This natural phenomenon started around the 4^th century AD and could have been responsible for causing Olous to sink.

7) The Ancient Underwater City in Fuxian Lake, China

Fuxian Lake is one of the most intriguing underwater cities ever found. Many stories have emerged from this lake about a lost city dating back thousands of years. There isn’t too much written about the excavations, but what is known is there have been many findings dating back into antiquity.

There are many legends in the Yunnan Province (which is located in southwest China) that talk about sunken cities.

One of the ancient cities that researchers first believed to be at the bottom of the lake was the city of Yuyuan. The city was occupied from around 590-900AD and supposedly sunk to the bottom of the sea.

However, researchers have since concluded that the underwater city could not be that of Yuyuan as all artifacts have so far been made of stone, and not clay, which Yuyuan was almost entirely made from.

In 2001, a team of marine archaeologists decided to explore the lake and reported seeing pyramid-like structures as well as other buildings and stone objects. They claim the ruins are over 2000 years old and belong to the lost civilization known as the Dian Kingdom.

There are many varying stories about these underwater ruins. Further research is required to confirm its origin.

8) Port Royal, Jamaica’s lost city

The mysterious sunken ruins of Port Royal in Jamaica.

Up until 1692, Port Royal was one of the most important trading ports of the New World. It wasn’t for the faint-hearted though, with it being known across the world as the ‘wickedest city on earth.’

An earthquake and resulting tsunami brought the Jamaican city to its end, submerging it beneath the sea. The ruins are still accessible today, with travelers able to dive and explore the lost city.

Conclusion:

The human origin story is littered with sunken cities and lost ancient civilizations.

Today underwater archeological research may reveal an entirely new chapter our story.

NASA Spacecraft Spies Huge New Storm on Jupiter After Death-Dodging Maneuver

SAN FRANCISCO — NASA's Juno probe discovered a giant new storm swirling near Jupiter's south pole last month, a few weeks after pulling off a dramatic death-dodging maneuver.

Juno spied the newfound maelstrom, which is about as wide as Texas, on Nov. 3, during its most recent close flyby of Jupiter. The storm joins a family of six other cyclones in Jupiter's south polar region, which Juno had spotted on previous passes by the gas giant. (Those encounters also revealed nine cyclones near Jupiter's north pole, by the way.)

The southern tempests are arrayed in a strikingly regular fashion. Previously, five of them had formed a pentagon around a central storm, which is as wide as the continental United States. With the new addition, that girdling structure is now a hexagon.

"These cyclones are new weather phenomena that have not been seen or predicted before," Cheng Li, a Juno scientist from the University of California, Berkeley, said in a statement yesterday (Dec. 12).

"Nature is revealing new physics regarding fluid motions and how giant planet atmospheres work," he added. "We are beginning to grasp it through observations and computer simulations. Future Juno flybys will help us further refine our understanding by revealing how the cyclones evolve over time."

Juno orbits Jupiter on a highly elliptical path every 53 Earth days, gathering most of its data when it comes closest to the giant planet. And those encounters are quite close indeed: During the Nov. 3 pass, the 22nd science flyby of Juno's $1.1 billion mission, the probe skimmed a mere 2,175 miles (3,500 kilometers) above Jupiter's cloud tops, NASA officials said.

But it took some fancy flying to make sure Juno survived the experience. The mission team determined that the probe's trajectory would take Juno into Jupiter's shadow for 12 hours on Nov. 3. And that likely would've been a death sentence for the solar-powered probe.

"We would've gotten cold. Really, really cold," Juno project scientist Steve Levin, of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California, said during a press conference here yesterday at the annual fall meeting of the American Geophysical Union (AGU), where the team announced the new results.

But the navigation team at JPL came up with a solution: "jumping Jupiter's shadow." On Sept. 30, Juno's handlers directed the solar-powered probe to fire its small reaction-control engines in pulses for 10.5 hours. This pushed the probe's path steadily outward — and, ultimately, out of the shadow path altogether, Levin explained.

"Without that maneuver, without the creative genius of the folks at JPL on the navigation team, we wouldn't have the beautiful data that we have to show you today," he said. 

Juno launched in 2011 and arrived in orbit around Jupiter on July 4, 2016. The spacecraft is studying  Jupiter's composition and gravitational and magnetic fields, among other things. The data Juno is gathering should help researchers better understand how Jupiter — and, by extension, the solar system — formed and evolved, mission team members have said.

The initial mission plan called for Juno to tighten its science orbit considerably, down to 14 Earth days. But the team called off the engine burns that would have achieved this reduction after discovering issues with the probe's fuel-delivery system. So, Juno will stay in the 53-day orbit for the duration of its mission, which currently goes through July 2021.

Mysterious object thought to be UFO, actually Rocket Lab launch

A mysterious object in the sky on Friday evening had many North Islanders questioning whether they've spotted a UFO.

One Napier resident told the Herald her husband was out fishing with his friends when he spotted the wired light before it quickly vanished.

Dozens of people, including those posting on a Whangamata community Facebook page, were convinced it was a UFO.

"Definitely a UFO," one person commented.

Turns out it was Rocket Lab launching its 10th Electron rocket from Mahia Peninsula shortly before 9.20pm.

The mission - named Running Out Of Fingers - had seven satellites for commercial "ride-share" customers on board.

Rocket Lab CEO and founder Peter Beck said it was a "significant milestone" given its 100 per cent success rate at getting 47 satellites into space on its "ride-share" missions.

"Not only is this 10th mission a significant milestone launch for us, but our first guided stage re-entry was a complete success.

"The stage made it through the harsh re-entry environment intact, which is an outstanding result for a first test of our recovery systems.

"It's a huge testament to the relentless drive and commitment of our team that we've reached 10 flights in just our second year of commercial launches," Beck said.

Rocket Lab's next mission will take place within the first weeks of 2020.

Earth's magnetic north is shifting at an 'unprecedented' rate of 30 miles a year - throwing satellite positioning data and navigation systems off course

The Earth's magnetic North Pole is travelling at an unprecedented rate and is picking up speed as it moves towards Siberia, according to new satellite data.

The magnetic North Pole is the wandering point on the surface of Earth's Northern Hemisphere at which the planet's magnetic field - created by molten iron within the planet’s core - points vertically downwards. 

The latest World Magnetic Model, which tracks the movement of the Earth’s magnetic field, shows that the magnetic north is moving at a rate of 30 miles per year.

This is the fastest recorded shift of the Earth's north since the mid-16th century and could cause havoc for aviation and navigation systems, including smartphone apps that use GPS.

The WMM has also located ‘caution zones’ on Earth around the magnetic fields where compasses may be prone to errors and send users off course.

The geomagnetic pole is the position of the pole if the Earth’s magnetic field was like a bar magnet. The difference between them show how distorted the magnetic field has become 

‘The magnetic North Pole wandered slowly around northern Canada from 1590 to around 1990 and then accelerated over the past 20 years moving from around 10 km (6.2 miles) per year to over 50 km (31 miles) per year,’ Ciaran Beggan of the British Geological Survey told MailOnline. 

‘In contrast, the south magnetic pole has barely moved much in the past 100 years as the flow of the outer core there is much more sedate.'

After circling northern Canada for hundreds of years, the approximate location of the magnetic north pole started moving speedily towards Siberia at around the turn of the century.

In recent months, it has crossed the Greenwich meridian line - the line of Zero Longitude from which all other longitudinal lines are measured.

Earth’s magnetic field is created by the movement of liquid iron in the Earth’s outer core, some 1,800 miles below our feet.

The iron is super hot (over 5,432 degrees Fahrenheit) and as runny as water meaning it flows very easily. 

As the liquid flows, it drags the magnetic field with it.  

‘We think the magnetic north pole has been sucked into a fast moving jet stream near the top of the planet and that’s causing it to be pulled from Canada to Siberia,’ Dr Beggan said. 

'There are other factors, but that is the main one.'

Since its discovery in 1831, the north magnetic pole has travelled a total of around 1,400 miles.

This movement has been generally quite slow, but since the turn of the century has sped up – reaching an average speed of about 34 miles per year.

The shift will mean there will be less chance to see the Aurora in place of northern Canada

The new WMM forecasts that the northern magnetic pole will continue drifting towards Siberia in the next five years, at a slightly slower speed of about 25 miles per year.

The move also means that the northern lights will move slightly away from northern Canada towards Siberia, meaning there will be less chance to see them in some areas there. 

The World Magnetic Model is a vital tool for civilian navigation systems and marine and aviation charts, which need to constantly adjust their measurements to account for the shifts in magnetic north. 

Airport runways also rely on the navigation aid and use WMM data to give runways numerical names, which pilots refer to on the ground.

It’s the standard model used for navigation by the UK Ministry of Defence and the US Department of Defence - and even compasses and smartphone apps that rely on GPS.

If you have smartphone with a map application (and an inbuilt compass which most phones do), then Google or Apple will change the magnetic field map in the next few months, as part of the general software updates. 

The WMM is jointly put together by the British Geological Survey and the USA’s National Centers for Environmental Information.

It’s updated every five years to take account of the unpredictability of the Earth’s magnetic field.

2019 was banner year for credible UFO sightings

It’s been a helluva year for Unidentified Flying Objects.

Once thought to be fictional works used to sell tabloids, 2019 has been awash with news of UFOs, aliens and strange phenomenon — including reports (complete with video) from verifiably sane sources.

In May, the Pentagon admitted it investigates UFOs soon after Navy pilots claimed to not only have seen but recorded UFOs during training exercises in 2004 and 2015.

In November, another report in Popular Mechanics confirmed that after the 2004 incident, two “unknown individuals” took the data tapes away and wiped the memory from the Navy hard drive.

Meanwhile, just around the time the Popular Mechanics report was released, unidentified flying objects were captured on video off North Carolina’s Outer Banks and the Army announced a partnership with Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge’s To the Stars Academy to research alien technology.

But while astronomers say humans finding aliens may take a long time — 2019 was a particularly active year for UFOs visiting Earth.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center, on Sept. 21, in Gallipolis, Ohio, “A husband (former law enforcement) and wife (scientist), while sitting outside their recreational vehicle at a public campsite, witnessed a very bright light approach their campsite from the south in an erratic manner, appearing to slow or stop on several occasions as it drew near. It got within 50 yards, they estimate, of their campsite, at which time, out of a sense of alarm, the husband reached for his .45 caliber sidearm, but he felt unable to use his arm, or lift the firearm. The object, estimated by the witnesses to have been approximately 20 feet in diameter, hovered nearby for approximately 8 seconds, and then suddenly accelerated toward the west, and disappeared very quickly to the west.”

Meanwhile, on Sept. 1, in Taos, New Mexico, “Three elk hunters allegedly witnessed two alien creatures, standing upright, on a nearby hilltop. The next day, two of them return to the same area to look for evidence, and they allegedly witness an unusual looking craft resting on the ground.”

Closer to home, on Aug. 12, on the New Jersey Garden State Parkway (near exit 38B by Atlantic City), “A husband and wife were driving north on the NJ Garden State Parkway when their attention was drawn to two peculiar white lights that appeared to be approaching their location. Suddenly, they realized that the lights were affixed to a very large, triangular craft, which maneuvered to above the highway and hovered. The witnesses could see ‘windows’ on the top of the craft, from which light appeared to emanate. Traffic was passing underneath the craft.”

According to the infographic, aliens apparently prefer colder climes as “UFO hotspots include Washington State (the home of the National UFO Reporting Center), Montana and Vermont. Alaska and Maine are also popular states for alien encounters.”

The states with the least alien activity are Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Mississippi and Alabama — despite former President Jimmy Carter logging an official report with the International UFO Bureau in 1969, claiming he had seen a self-illuminated, multi-colored UFO before giving a speech at the Lions Club in Leary, Georgia.

The US Navy has now officially declassified operable patents for anti-gravity and free-energy technology. The Air Force announced on December 6th that "Secret Space Programs" will be declassified in 2020.

This new Intel precisely fits with the inside information from Pete Peterson, in a call from June 6th, 2019.

Peterson was arguably the top specialist for black-ops technology in the military-industrial complex for many years. 

According to this "deathbed confessional" from Pete, he would be allowed to tell the world anything he wanted about his experiences "on the inside" within six to eight months from the time of the interview.

Pete was preparing to come forward about his experiences visiting 60 to 65 different off-planet locations, and just over a month later, he died of an "accidental injection" at the senior center he was staying at.

Before. Here’s comet 2I/Borisov – the 2I stands for 2nd interstellar – on November 16, 2019, about 3 weeks before its perihelion, or closest point to the sun. It appears in front of a distant background spiral galaxy (2MASX J10500165-0152029), whose bright central core is smeared because Hubble was tracking the comet. Comet Borisov was approximately 203 million miles (327 million km) from Earth in this exposure. The streak off to the upper right is its tail of ejected dust.

Astronomers last week (December 12, 2019) released new Hubble Space Telescope images of 2I/Borisov – the second-known interstellar object – shortly before and shortly after its December 8 perihelion. Those images are historic in and of themselves; we’ve never before witnessed an interstellar object sweeping closest to our sun. 2I/Borisov – discovered on August 30, 2019, by comet hunter Gennady Borisov in Crimea, and now characterized as a comet – was about twice as far as Earth from the sun at its closest, on the inner edge of the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. So its December 8 passage nearest our sun wasn’t a close passage for a comet. But – since comets are most active when they sweep closest to a star – astronomers hoped to see 2I/Borisov exhibit an outburst or other activity.

We haven’t heard of any outbursts from 2I/Borisov, but the Hubble observations did yield important science. Astronomer David Jewitt of UCLA led the team that captured the new images. Jewitt said in a statement:

Hubble gives us the best upper limit of the size of comet Borisov’s nucleus [core], which is the really important part of the comet.

Surprisingly, our Hubble images show that its nucleus is more than 15 times smaller than earlier investigations suggested it might be. Our Hubble images show that the radius is smaller than half-a-kilometer [.3 miles].

Knowing the size is potentially useful for beginning to estimate how common such objects might be in the solar system and our galaxy. Borisov is the first known interstellar comet, and we would like to learn how many others there are.

After. Astronomers aimed Hubble toward 2I/Borisov again on December 9, 2019, shortly after its perihelion or closest point to the sun on December 8, 2019. When closest to the sun, a comet receives maximum heating; it tends to be most active. It’s also moving fastest in orbit. 2I/Borisov was barreling along at some 100,000 miles (160,000 km) per hour at perihelion. At its closest to the sun, 2I/Borisov was about twice Earth’s average distance from the sun, near the inner edge of the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. It was 185 million miles (298 million km) from Earth in this photo. Its nucleus or core – made of ices and dust – was still too small to see. The comet will make its closest approach to Earth in late December at a distance of 180 million miles (290 million km).

Let’s back up a minute. What is 2I/Borisov? We’ve said it’s the second interstellar visitor and the first known interstellar comet. That is, it’s a comet from another star system. The first interstellar object was spotted by astronomers in Hawaii in late 2017. Earthly astronomers named it 1I/’Oumuamua (“Scout”). The 1I stands for 1st interstellar.

‘Oumuamua was positively identified as coming from beyond our solar system. The shape of its orbit told that story. But it couldn’t be positively identified as a comet, despite the fact that – because they’re only loosely bound to their own stars – comets are the most likely candidates for becoming interstellar objects. ‘Oumuamua, though, was a strange object – long and thin – and didn’t show any signs of outgassing or a tail. It looked in many ways more like an asteroid than a comet.

Plus it had already passed its perihelion when astronomers first spotted it. It was already heading outward, back out of our solar system again.

So seeing the second-known interstellar object – 2I/Borisov – both before and after perihelion was a big plus for astronomers!

And now both 1I/’Oumuamua and 2I/Borisov are heading outward again. By the middle of 2020, 2I/Borisov will have zoomed past Jupiter’s distance of 500 million miles (800 million km) on its way back to interstellar space.

But, never fear – now that they’ve spotted the first two interstellar objects – astronomers expect to find more.

2I/Borisov’s orbit. The “2I” stands for “2nd interstellar.” In other words, this is only the 2nd object from a distant solar system known to have swept past our sun. Its perihelion – or closest point to the sun – is just outside the orbit of Mars.

The CIA Simulated UFO Abductions In Latin America As Psychological Warfare Experiments

Throughout history, the field of ufology and the examination of the extraterrestrial hypothesis has, without a doubt, been overcome with a plethora of disinformation. Those who have dived into the depths of ufology know this best, as it’s well documented that ‘outsiders’ from intelligence agencies and governments have infiltrated the field for the purposes of deceiving researchers and people who are interested in the topic for one simple reason, to keep them away from the truth. On top of these disinformation campaigns, which still seem to be in operation today, there has long been an “official campaign of ridicule and secrecy” (Roscoe Hillenkoetter, Ex CIA director)  associated with the subject. This is why I encourage all those reading who dive into this subject to stick with facts, data, and evidence rather than entertain what seem to be outlandish claims that in no way, at all, can be verified.

I’d like to draw your attention to Dr. Jacques Vallee, who holds a master’s degree in astrophysics and a Ph.D. in computer science. The subject of UFOs first attracted his attention as an astronomer in Paris. He subsequently became a close associate of Project Blue Book’s J. Allen Hynek and has written several books on the UFO enigma. He is currently a venture capitalist living in San Francisco. Vallée co-developed the first computerized map of Mars for NASA in 1963. He later worked on the network information center for the ARPANET, a precursor to the modern Internet, as a staff engineer of SRI International’s Augmentation Research Center under Douglas Engelbart.

He’s a researcher that’s had a very interesting life, to say the least, with regards to researching the topic of UFOs. He’s come into contact with and had meetings with most experts in the field, politicians from around the world, high ranking military personnel and much more. His journey into the subject has led him to investigate an uncountable amount of case reports regarding UFOs and supposed extraterrestrial beings, and he’s been a major player with regards to bringing the mainstream scientific community forward to look at the evidence and data that’s involved with such a serious subject, that, in his time, was largely ridiculed. He is an important reason why the phenomenon has gained as much credibility as it has today.

Vallee is one of many who have written about and documented the startling evidence that well-constructed hoaxes and media manipulations have misled UFO researchers, diverting them from the UFO phenomenon itself, what’s really going on.

In one of his latest books, Forbidden Science 4, he shares a record of his private study into unexplained phenomena between 1990 and the end of the millennium, during which he was traveling around the global pursuing his professional work as a high-technology investor. It’s a bit of a diary, documenting his experiences and encounters/meetings as he tries to examine and explore the phenomenon.

In an entry dated Thursday 26 March 1992, Vallee writes:

I have secured a document confirming that the CIA simulated UFO abductions in Latin America (Brazil and Argentina) as psychological warfare experiments.

Reading this line from his book triggered me back to earlier in his book when he mentions one of many conversations he’s had with Ron Blackburn.

On Monday 16 April 1990, he writes:

Over lunch again with Colonel Ron Blackburn (Air Force) at the Gatehouse in Palo Alto he revealed that the “Secret Onion” group started in 1985 in the classified tank located in his basement at the Lockheed Skunk Works. Colonel John Alexander had brought him a list of the people in the inner circle. They divided the world into layers of concentric trust and ability. John introduced Blackburn to Ed Dames. Blackburn and I have a firmed up our plants to ravel to New Mexico on May 4th, up the high mesa – supposedly to meet some Aliens.

It’s interesting to note that Colonel John Alexander army writes about Blackburn in his book, “UFOs, myths, conspiracies and realities.”

Among the people I met was Dr. Ron Blackburn, a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel who was then working at the Lockheed Skunk Works in Burbank. It was Blackburn who first asked me if I had ever heard of the infamous Area 51. In the early 1980s, this facility was still not widely known inside the military, let alone the general public, even though it had been functional for decades…Among areas of common interest between Blackburn and me were UFOs. We discussed many possibilities related to who might be in charge of UFO research. We both thought that there was some organization, probably within the U.S. Air Force, which had the responsibility. But we acknowledged that whoever had the ball, there must be a an interagency effort as well. Our assumption was that somebody must be in charge, and we were well aware of all the prevailing stories and rumours. Roswell, we assumed, was a real UFO event.

Fast forward to Friday, May 4th, 1990, Vallee writes about Blackburn:

“I’m convinced the government is working on UFOs,” he told me. “What are the chances some witnesses are being fooled by special effects developed by psychological warfare?” I countered. Thinking of cases like Bentwaters in the UK or Cergy-Pontoise in France. “They’re pretty good,” he admitted. “Suppose you shine a week infrared laser into people’s eyes; it won’t hurt them but may induce a hallucinatory state. Experiments have been done where you send a microwave beam through someone’s brain; you pick up the transmitted energy pattern. You can influence people this way, even make them hear things. Holograms have been used too,”

fIt’s interesting to note the conversation Valle had with Blackburn in 1990, and then in 1992 writes that he had received a document that the CIA had been involved with staging UFO (alien abductions). Combine this information with Blackburn mentioning that holograms have been used, and technology exists to produce “hallucinatory” states.

This is just one of many examples and pieces of evidence many researchers in the field point to suggesting that there are staged abductions happening for reasons unknown, and that it’s continuing today.  It’s not surprising either if you’ve ventured down the road of CIA mind controlled tactics, programs like MK ultra and their desire to manipulate the perception of the masses with regards to various topics. It’s not surprising if you’ve looked into the black budget world, a world that’s far more advanced that the mainstream world with regards to technology.

Dr. David Jacobs, a retired university professor, is one of many experts who has hypnotically regressed people who claim to have had ET abduction experiences. After thousands of people, they all share the same story. Many filled with forced impregnation, and ‘hybrid’ children, among other things. Could many of these forced abduction experiments simply be deep black projects that are being conducted by rogue government agencies? Now we know that yes, many of them could be. Are all of them? There are stories floating around out there without much evidence, like the idea that Eisenhower made a deal with certain extraterrestrial groups, that they could abduct a certain amount of humans for the exchange of technology. Based on the idea that that forced abductions may be military operations, this supposed meeting is called into question.

Vallee writes of Jacobs in his book:

I am trying to read Jacob’s Secret Life.’ The author appears obsessed with what he views as a massive Alien invasion, his analysis is no longer balanced.

This may explain why there is a whole array of people who claim to have had experience with beings from somewhere else, but these experiences did not involve forced abductions, but rather, simple contact experiences. Remember, the key nuance here is we’re talking about human and ET contact, vs forced abductions which are often quite aggressive or terrifying for people.

I’ve been in this field for more than a decade now and the more I learn, the more I have to unlearn and consider other possibilities. I wrote that article being aware that many abduction cases could be military operations, but I did not mention it. I’ve come across the work of many who have interviewed abductees and, from their experiences, there also seems to be a military component as well, or a feeling of military personnel appearing as ‘Aliens.’

How Deep Does The Misinformation Go?

Richard Doty is also mentioned multiple times in Valle’s book. He is a retired Air Force Special investigations officer (AFSIO), and his job was to spread disinformation about the UFO subject during his time with the Air Force. Spreading disinformation about the reality of UFOs is no secret, and in Doty’s case, he admitted to infiltrating UFO circles along with his colleagues to feed ufologists and journalists lies and half truths so that they would never understand any real truth.

Regardless, There Is Something Going On Here

Valle, and all others in this field are quite aware that something real is going on, and something quite possibility extraterrestrial and inter-dimensional. This article is not meant to shed doubt on the phenomenon itself as well as the extraterrestrial hypothesis. Credible information with regards to sightings, crash retrieval, and possible bodies and contact experiences with ‘aliens’ are out there and can be examined. That being said, there is obviously a lot of disinformation out there as well, ridiculous claims as well as charlatans who are in the field spreading lies and fake stories for the purposes of making money, or perhaps to do what Doty was once tasked with, to spread disinformation, are out there.

A newly launched investigation could finally get to the bottom of a mystery that has baffled scientists since the 1950s.

For decades, scientists have observed brief flashes of light that appear on the surface of the moon several times a week. But, no one knows exactly what’s causing them.

Now, using a specially designed lunar telescope in Spain that boasts two cameras, a team will keep an eye on the moon’s activity every night in hopes to capture these strange phenomena and ultimately pinpoint the source.

Scientists have dubbed these strange events ‘transient lunar phenomena.’

The new effort is led by researchers from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg in Germany, who built the new telescope and put it into operation in April 2019.

The telescope sits at a private observatory roughly 100 kilometers north of Seville, where the weather is optimal for viewing.

There are several possible explanations that have circulated over the years, from meteor impacts to interactions between solar wind and moon dust, the researchers say.

‘Seismic activities were also observed on the moon,’ says Hakan Kayal, Professor of Space Technology at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg (JMU) in Bavaria, Germany.

‘When the surface moves, gases that reflect sunlight could escape from the interior of the moon.

‘This would explain the luminous phenomena, some of which last for hours.’

‘The so-called transient lunar phenomena have been known since the 1950s, but they have not been sufficiently observed,’ Kayal said.

When the new telescope logs a luminous phenomenon with both of its cameras at the same time, it will store the observations and send an email to the team.

Artificial intelligence techniques will eventually be added to help it distinguish between different types of events on the moon, as well as false alarms.

The researchers say understanding this type of activity at the surface of the moon will be critical in efforts to establish colonies.

‘Anyone who wants to build a lunar base at some point must of course be familiar with the local conditions,’ Kayal said.

The researchers will eventually compare their results with those collected by the European Space Agency to confirm the observations.

Flashing lights in the night sky: Scientists launch study to analyze the moon’s “flashing” phenomenon

(Natural News) For over 50 years, scientists have been baffled by events known as “transient lunar phenomena” (TLP). These are brief flashes of light on the surface of the moon that astronomers have witnessed and have no conclusive explanation for. But the world might finally get an answer thanks to technology and future cooperation between a research team and a space agency.

Fast facts on TLPs

In the late 1960s, astronomers Barbara Middlehurst and Patrick Moore studied seismic occurrences and other phenomena on the moon and found nearly 400 reports of “strange events.” Small areas on the lunar surface would suddenly go dim or brighten without any explanation. Astronomer A.A. Mills describes TLPs as reddish or pinkish light that is sometimes “sparkling” or “flowing” in their appearance. The light may extend as large as 10 miles on the lunar surface. They usually last around 20 minutes, but there are recordings of TLPs that have persisted intermittently for several hours.

Amateur astronomers with decent telescopes can even witness TLPs themselves, but they might have to wait between a few hours to several days as they are impossible to predict. However, scientists have acknowledged that TLPs are known to occur several times a week.

A unique telescope for the job

To answer what TLPs are, scientists are relying on a specially designed telescope in Spain that they put into operation in April 2019. Even though it’s already online, the observatory is still under development and upgrades to the telescope’s software are ongoing.

This effort is led by researchers from the Julius Maximilian University of Wurzburg (JMU). The telescope resides in a private observatory around 100 km north of the Spanish city of Seville in the region of Andalusia. This location was chosen due to the weather making it an optimal location for viewing.

This new telescope will observe the moon around the clock using two cameras. When a TLP occurs, these two cameras will record the event with detailed photos and videos. They will send these recordings via email to JMU, where researchers will analyze the findings.

Several possible explanations have floated around for TLPs, ranging from meteor impacts to the interactions between moon dust and solar wind. The currently leading hypothesis is seismic activity according to Hakan Kayal, lead researcher and professor of space technology at JMU. While their efforts of recording TLPs have progressed immensely since they were first studied by Middlehurst and Moore over 50 years ago, Kayal admits that the system still needs a lot of work. The researchers have stated that they will incorporate artificial intelligence techniques as the technology develops. These techniques will help the cameras distinguish between different types of events and possible false alarms, such as passing airplanes and other objects. This will greatly help Kayal and his team sort through documented events and devote more time to studying actual TLPs.

A future satellite mission will also use this technology to take more detailed observations from the lunar orbit. Afterward, Kayal and his team will collate all the information they have gathered and compare it with data from the European Space Agency.

Kayal has also stated that, given current plans to establish bases on the moon, it is very important to learn what TLPs are so that future astronauts living at the base can prepare for any encounter with the lunar environment. “Anyone who wants to build a lunar base at some point must of course be familiar with the local conditions.”

AMERIKAANSE GENERAAL GEEFT TOE DAT TELEPORTATIE BESTAAT ( VIDEO )

Stel je voor dat je binnen een uur vanaf een willekeurige plek op aarde naar iedere andere gewenste locatie kunt worden gebracht.

Het lijkt op sciencefiction,  maar volgens de Amerikaanse generaal Steven Kwast beschikken de VS over dergelijke technologie.

Teleportatie of teleporteren is de rechtstreekse verplaatsing van objecten van de ene plaats naar de andere, zonder dat het object fysiek de ruimte tussen beide plaatsen hoeft te doorkruisen. Min of meer op hetzelfde moment verdwijnt het object op de ene plaats en verschijnt het op de andere. Deze techniek is – tenminste bij de huidige stand van de natuurwetenschap – volstrekt denkbeeldig, maar het verschijnsel is zeer uitgebreid in gebruik in sciencefiction.

Volgens de officiële wetenschap zou teleportatie dan misschien wel mogelijk zijn, maar dat het eigenlijk praktisch niet uitvoerbaar is:

In Star Trek is het een fluitje van een cent om Kirk en Spock te teleporteren. In minder dan een paar seconden worden zij naar de Enterprise gebeamd. Maar hoe lang duurt teleporteren in ’t echt? Wetenschappers rekenden het uit! Wat blijkt: teleporteren duurt vijf biljard jaar. Dat is een vijf met vijftien nullen. Het teleporteren van één mens duurt dus 350.000 keer langer dan de totale leeftijd van het heelal.

Dat de situatie in werkelijkheid heel anders is, bewijzen de uitspraken van een Amerikaanse generaal die kort geleden (1 september 2019) de krijgsmacht heeft verlaten. Kwast was generaal bij de Luchtmacht en zelf ook een ervaren vlieger met meer dan 3.300 vlieguren op allerlei jets zoals de F-15.

Enkele weken geleden geeft deze generaal een toespraak voor een College in Amerika, waarbij hij uitgebreid ingaat op de ruimte als volgend militair terrein. Bekend is dat Donald Trump vorig jaar de Amerikaanse Space Force gelanceerd heeft met als doel het witwassen van de al lang bestaande geheime ruimtevloot. Daarom ontstond vervolgens ook zoveel aandacht voor ufo waarnemingen van Amerikaanse marinepiloten; simpelweg om de mensheid heel snel vertrouwd te maken met het concept buitenaards en ufo. 

Waarschijnlijk moeten sommige opmerkingen die door Kwast tijdens zijn toespraak werden gemaakt in hetzelfde licht worden gezien.

Als je in de volgende video naar minuut 12 gaat, dan kun je Kwast het volgende horen zeggen:

De technologie ligt vandaag op de werkbanken. Maar, de meeste Amerikanen en de meeste leden van het Congres hebben nog geen tijd gehad om echt in detail te kijken naar wat er zich daar afspeelt. Echter, ik heb 33 jaar lang het voordeel gehad met deze wetenschappers te studeren en vrienden met hen te worden. Deze technologie die ze daar hebben kan vandaag in de praktijk worden gebracht en hoeft niet langer getest te worden. Deze is in staat om een mens van elk willekeurig punt op aarde binnen een uur te transporteren naar iedere gewenste locatie.


Dit is uiteraard een heel ander verhaal dan wat de officiële wetenschap ons weet te vertellen en bewijst alleen maar wat wij altijd gezegd hebben. En wel, dat men veel verder is met technologie dan wij gewone stervelingen formeel weten.

En opeens wordt die basis op Mars ook een stuk realistischer. Een komt de heftige ontkenning van de CIA over dat Obama naar Mars geteporteerd is geweest, ook in een heel ander daglicht te staan. Net zoals de verhalen van mensen die zeggen daar naartoe "gebeamed" te zijn via teleportatie, zoals wij schreven in een eerder artikel:

Wanneer in de mainstream media serieuze verhalen verschijnen over geheime kolonies op Mars dan wordt het tijd om achter je oren te krabben. Onlangs schreven wij het verhaal over klokkenluider Captain Kaye (schuilnaam) die zegt 17 jaar lang op de planeet Mars te hebben doorgebracht.

Zo verklaarde hij het volgende:

“Volgens de getuigenis van Captain Kaye heet de hoofdkolonie van de menselijke bevolking "Aries Prime" en bevindt zich binnenin een krater. Aries Prime (redactie: de naam doet erg denken aan de nazi doelstelling van een blank super(prime)ras van Ariers maar, is ook een verwijzing naar de gehoornde ram Baphomet uit het satanisme) dient als hoofdkwartier voor de Mars Colony Corporation. Volgens Captain Kaye is het mogelijk om gewoon te ademen op Mars en is de temperatuur soms zelfs warm te noemen.”

Met het verhaal van Captain Kaye is eigenlijk iets unieks gebeurd want je vindt het nu terug in de mainstream media zoals de Engelse Mirror. Gezien de aard van het verhaal is dat heel verrassend te noemen.

Als we kijken naar de manier waarop het militair-industrieel complex in het verleden te werk is gegaan dan is het heel goed mogelijk dat er buiten het zicht van de wereldbevolking al jaren geleden een geheime kolonie op Mars is gesticht.

Enkele jaren voordat in 1945 de eerste atoombom op een aantal Japanse steden werd gegooid, werden er geheime tests met kernbommen uitgevoerd, waaronder in Amerika. Er verschenen verhalen in lokale kranten die verslag deden van een enorme paddenstoelwolk en een onvoorstelbaar felle lichtflits. Dit werd door het militair-industriële complex afgedaan als gezichtsbedrog of een meteoor. Kortom, ondanks dat "de bom " al lang bestond, werd dit in alle toonaarden ontkent en afgedaan als science fiction.

Zo zijn er al jarenlang de verhalen van een advocaat uit Washington, Andrew Basiago, en van Laura Eisenhower, de achterkleindochter van de voormalige Amerikaanse president Eisenhower, die zeggen dat er zich een geheime aardse kolonie op Mars bevindt. Gebouwd voor de elite om naartoe uit te wijken wanneer de aarde getroffen zou worden door bijvoorbeeld een catastrofale zonnenvlam of door een andere grote ramp waardoor onze planeet langere tijd onleefbaar zou worden.

Er is zo langzamerhand een overweldigende hoeveelheid aanwijzingen voor dat er meer is op Mars dan wij officiëel horen te geloven.

Denk ook aan de onthullingen van hacker Gary McKinnon , de vreemde onverklaarbare lichten die op Mars worden waargenomen  en de vele UFO’s die worden gezien.

Dat onthullingen over een geheime Mars kolonie nu als redelijk serieuze berichten worden gebracht in mainstream media is veelzeggend. De alternatieve media toont zich steeds sterker in het onthullen van geheimen.

Zijn we nu op een punt aangekomen dat de elite achter het militair-industriëel complex heeft besloten om aan damage control te doen? Omdat ze weten dat er nu zoveel informatie naar buiten komt dat ontkennen straks weinig zin meer heeft?

Dat nu de bevolking rijp wordt gemaakt voor de gedachte dat er misschien toch iets op Mars is? Dat we straks een soort Mars disclosure gaan krijgen met de mededeling dat dit alles niet gedaan is om te overleven voor de elite, maar dat men zich ernstig zorgen maakt over een buitenaardse (nep) invasie. Men de bevolking niet heeft willen verontrusten en dus daarom in het geheim deze bases heeft gebouwd om te dienen als wereldcommando centrale tegen een verwachte strijd tegen buitenaardsen.
