Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

The strange object supposedly changed colour as it emerged in the night sky
Baffling footage of a circular object in the sky above New York City has been likened to the Death Star from Star Wars by stunned conspiracy theorists.
The video begins with the view of the famous skyline of the city in New York, US.
A bright light then comes into shot above the buildings, as cameraman Mauricio Lopez voices his thoughts.
"I've got something in the sky, a blinking red light," he says.
"I believe in UFOs and I think I've got one right now."
A strange object seen above New York City has been likened to the Death Star
When he zooms in, the object appears to have terrain on its surface – shown by the dark and light colours.
It also seems to have a black line striking through it, sparking the viewer to claim: "This is not a star, either."
The object appears to then change colour from white to red and at one point even seems to vanish from view before reappearing.
Mauricio posted the footage to YouTube on September 25 with the caption: "UFO over New York City".
It has since gone viral after being picked up by renowned UFO channel Mavi 77.
"It looks like the Death Star out of Star Wars," one viewer wrote.
The Death Star refers to the moon-sized space station built by the Empire in Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
In the popular franchise, it was able to destroy an entire planet with its laser beam.

Another user suggested it was "another planet", which a third agreed with.
"It is just an out of focus star, Venus perhaps," they added.
The footage comes after a series of snake-like UFOs were filmed across the US in recent months.

(Tribune News Service) — A fleet of lights recorded off North Carolina’s Outer Banks has ignited a debate about whether they are UFOs or just part of a mysterious military exercise.
William Guy posted a 31-second video Sept. 28 on YouTube, showing what appears to be 14 glowing orbs over the water. He refers to it as a “real UFO sighting.”
“Anybody tell me what that is?” Guy says in the video. “We’re in the middle of the ocean, on a ferry, nothing around. Look. Nothing around. No land, no nothing.”
Guy told the McClatchy news group he’s from Indiana and is among the workers sent to repair damage on Ocracoke Island caused by intense flooding during Hurricane Dorian.
The video was filmed aboard a ferry crossing the Pamlico Sound from Ocracoke Island to Swan Quarter on the mainland, he said. The lights appeared for at least a minute and a half, he posted on YouTube.
Pamlico Sound is not part of the Atlantic Ocean, but a large body of water that separates the Outer Banks from mainland North Carolina.
The incident happened Sept. 18, reports UFOS sighting LPKZ 2019, one of many UFO sites and tabloids covering Guy’s story.
“The footage has left the conspiracy world in shock,” the British tabloid Daily Star says.
“Prepare to be amazed,” LADbible wrote of the video.
Commenters on YouTube are divided as to whether the lights are UFOs or just flares used by the military. The latter is plausible, given the proximity of the Outer Banks to multiple military facilities, including Camp Lejeune and Fort Bragg in Eastern North Carolina.
“I know what those lights are,” posted Derrick Chennault on YouTube. “As a former Marine based at the 2nd Marine Air Wing in Cherry Point, N.C. ... we used to regularly drop flares out of the back of our plane in the evenings for military exercises... Glad to see the Marines are still spooking people.”
Guy doesn’t appear to be completely convinced of that explanation.
“A lot of people I have talked to here on the island said it was flares, but they also said they have never seen anything like what I captured,” he wrote on YouTube.
North Carolina is considered one of the most active places in the country for UFO reports, including an incident in November when a fisherman filmed two sets of lights floating off Cape Lookout National Seashore.
National Park Service officials at Cape Lookout told the Charlotte Observer they were not sure what the lights were, but labeled them “peculiar.”

By this time you may already be familiar with Cmdr. David Fravor (US Navy, retired) as the fighter pilot who engaged what’s come to be known as the white Tic-Tac UFO back in 2004, leading to one of the remarkable videos released by the Pentagon over the past couple of years. He’s given a number of interviews to various mainstream news outlets recently, talking about his remarkable experience. But yesterday he showed up on the Joe Rogan show for a nearly two-hour discussion and it turned into a serious deep dive. I’ll embed the full video of the interview below, but first I wanted to cover a few of the highlights. (The entire show is worth your time, however, even if you’re already familiar with the story. Fravor goes into a lot of details we hadn’t heard before.)
Also on the show was filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, who recently released a movie about Bob Lazar. (Ugh.) He briefly derails the conversation a couple of times talking about Lazar and some Ancient Aliens type stuff, but also adds in several good details about the recent revelations.
Sometimes when people go on Rogan’s show it turns out to be something of a disaster. Just ask Elon Musk or Tom DeLonge. Joe has a way of dragging them down various rabbit holes or getting them to engage in antics that wind up being embarrassing. That didn’t happen with Fravor, who maintained an air of cool professionalism throughout. (Well, there’s one possible exception I’ll get to in a moment.) But here are some of the highlights.
One detail he revealed early in the interview while describing the Tic-Tac encounter was that his F/A-18F Super Hornet was not equipped with any live missiles. Dummy loads were installed because they were scheduled to go on a training mission. This would have presumably left him with nothing more than his 20 mm rotary cannon if things had gotten tense with the unidentified craft.
Another fascinating detail he included was that during multiple encounters with the Tic-Tacs on both coasts, pilots were able to determine that the objects were actively blocking their radar systems, making it impossible to get a lock on them. And we’re talking about one of the newest, best radar systems in the world. This is interesting because it at least implies an actively engaged, intelligent force controlling the Tic-Tacs. (Whether that’s local or remote, biological or AI-driven we don’t know.)
Fravor additionally revealed that government and military investigations into these incidents are far from over. He has personally been summoned to Washington multiple times this year for private, confidential meetings with “high ranking government officials.” (He wasn’t authorized to be any more specific than that.)
One potentially disturbing story Fravor tells at the 49-minute mark in the interview (in case you want to skip ahead) deals with his “sense of humor” and some antics he and the other pilots get up to on occasion. This story involves them basically making their planes appear like a UFO in the night sky when they see people camping in remote areas.
Fravor: We used to fly night vision goggles in Hornets a lot. And with night vision goggles you can see a campfire from like fifty miles away. We used to do it, the good spots were down in like El Centro California. There’s some bombing ranges and people go camping in the Superstition Mountains… so we would go out at night flying around on goggles. You’d see a campfire and go, “Oh. UFO time.”
And then you get the airplane going around 600 knots and then you pull the power back to idle so you can’t hear it. Then you get zinging toward the fire and you turn the lights all down because we’re in a restricted area so you can do that. There’s lights on it you can only see if you’re on vision goggles. So the other airplanes can see us, but no one else can see us. Then you go zinging at it and right when you get to the campfire you pull the airplane into vertical and stroke the afterburners, let ’em light off, you count to three and then you just go away. Instant UFO reporting.
Sadly, Fravor may have just wiped out half of the UFO reports made to MUFON by people camping in Southern California over the years. Still, I don’t doubt the story a bit. I knew plenty of pilots during my years serving on an aircraft carrier and they tended to have rather “sick” senses of humor, as Fravor describes it.
Anyway, those were some of the highlights that stuck out for me. Here’s the video. As I said, it’s rather long, but definitely worth the time if you have any interest in this subject at all.

Ze zien er dikwijls uit als dreigende onweersluchten, donkere wolken met heen en weer schietende bliksemflitsen.
Vaak ontbreekt het donderen van een echte onweersbui en schieten ufo’s in en uit de wolk.
Wat dit fenomeen precies is weet eigenlijk niemand. Wij noemen ze dimensieportalen omdat het lijkt alsof ufo’s dit soort vreemde wolkenformaties gebruiken als portalen van de ene naar de andere dimensie.
We schrijven al heel lang over dit soort verschijnselen, waarover later meer, maar eerst een waarneming van dit jaar die plaatsvond boven Thailand.
Een bizarre rood-achtige wolk vol met bliksemschichten waar eveneens een aantal ufo’s zichtbaar zijn zoals te zien op de volgende afbeeldingen.
De opname is gemaakt door de 53-jarige Engelse toerist Darren Blakeley die het gebeuren omschreef als iets uit de serie The Avengers.
Het voorval vond plaats in Laguna, Phuket, en voorbijgangers stonden met open mond te gapen naar het vreemde verschijnsel in de lucht.
Weer hetzelfde verschijnsel zoals we dat al vaker hebben omschreven: een verder helemaal heldere lucht met een vreemde wolk, vol met bliksemschichten en ufo’s die in- en uitvliegen.
Enkele jaren geleden bracht ook Secureteam een video met daarin opnames die veel lijken op een dergelijk dimensieportaal.
Volgens een artikel op Mysterious Universe heeft zich ook iets dergelijks voor gedaan nabij de Spaanse stad Alicante en heeft zelfs NASA belangstelling getoond voor die bepaalde opname. Ook daar een onweerswolk vol met bliksemschichten en een ufo die tevoorschijn komt.
Hierbij de originele video opname uit Alicante en wie zelf de ufo niet ziet die tevoorschijn komt, kan hier kijken.
Voor de volledigheid hierna nog een aantal vergelijkbare voorbeelden uit eerdere artikelen. Tot nu toe heeft niemand nog een andere verklaring kunnen geven, dus voorlopig blijven het wat ons betreft dimensieportalen.
De opname is gemaakt bij de Zárate-Brazo Largo brug die aan de rand van de Argentijnse stad Buenos Aires ligt.
Al jaren schrijven wij nu over vreemde wolken die niet thuis horen in een bepaald landschap. Onderstaand een dergelijke wolk. Wat ook iedere keer weer kenmerkend is, zijn de bliksemflitsen in de wolk. Alsof je een grote onweerswolk hebt, maar dat eigenlijk niet is.
In de korte video zie je diverse UFO’s ronddartelen waarvan er een aantal met enorme snelheid verdwijnen in de wolk.
Na ongeveer zes seconden zie je er zo één linksboven in beeld verschijnen zoals ook te zien is op de volgende afbeelding.
En wanneer zo’n UFO de wolk in vliegt, ontstaat er op diezelfde plek een bliksemschicht. Wanneer je goed kijkt, dan zie je dat diverse keren gebeuren in die korte video.
De volgende opname is uniek, omdat het ook een bevestiging is van wat verschillende getuigen hebben gezien en van eerder gemaakte en vergelijkbare beelden.
Hierna een voorbeeld van hetzelfde fenomeen door de ogen van een getuige en eveneens een bijzondere opname uit Mexico.
Als eerste een getuigenis van een dame die wij ontvingen in november 2014:
"Het is dinsdagavond 7 oktober en om 20.30 stap ik op de fiets vanuit Lytse Geast,(een dorpje een kleine tien kilometer ten zuid-oosten van Leeuwarden).
Mijn weg voert door de weilanden over een afgelegen pad en als het even kan zorg ik er voor dat ik niet in mijn eentje in het donker nog op pad ben. Vandaag ben ik al te laat en de laatste schemering gaat al over in duister.
Ik ben nog maar net buiten, of het begint te regenen en hard te waaien. Schuin voor me zie ik een paar flitsen, en het rommelt in de verte, precies tussen mij en Leeuwarden, waar ik naar op weg ben. Onweer dus, ook dat nog.
Voor me is een brede, langgerekte, vrij laag hangende wolk. Dat is waar ik de hemel op zie lichten. Er komen witte bollen uit de wolk. Twee gaan naar links en twee gaan naar rechts. De afstand van de ene bol tot de andere blijft steeds gelijk, alsof ze met een touwtje aan elkaar vast zitten. Ze bewegen langzaam.
Ik weet niet, wat het is, dat ik zie... zijn dit vliegtuigen? van de basis? En waarom zijn die geïnteresseerd in een onweerswolk? Ja, het zijn vast vliegtuigen. Het licht pulseert ook, zoals bij een vliegtuig. Flits aan, flits uit. Ja maar, bij een vliegtuig zie je dan altijd ook een rood licht aan en uit flitsen. dat is hier niet. Alleen wit. Melkwit.
De twee bollen rechts zijn verdwenen, die van links zijn opeens weer terug boven de wolk. Verbeeld ik me nu dat ze sneller pulseren dan zo net? Nee, dat verbeeld ik me niet. Het lijken wel sterren en het licht is niet meer zozeer wit, als wel koud. Zoals bij sterretjes voor kleine kinderen. Het zijn nu dus geen witte bollen meer, maar steeds sneller aan- en uit flitsende 'sterren'.
Dan zijn ze weg. Een paar minuten is er niks meer te zien en dan opeens zijn er wel twintig. Allemaal onder, boven, naast of uit de wolk. En allemaal flitsen ze aan en uit, nu in een heel hoog tempo. In een ijzig wit licht dat zo fel is dat het mij verblindt. Je zou zeggen dat ze er plezier aan beleven, zoals ze om en door de wolk heen duiken. Er in, er uit, om de wolk heen, achter elkaar aan... Net zo plotseling als ze verschenen zijn ze nu weer weg.
En komen niet meer terug. En ik ben bijna bij de eerste huizen van de stad. Het regent niet meer en de wind gaat ook liggen. Hoe lang dit al met al geduurd heeft? Twintig minuten à hooguit een half uur. Ik kan me niet voorstellen, dat er niet meer mensen geweest zijn die dit gezien hebben. Er was echt een hele lichtshow in de lucht.
Wat me achteraf ook nog wel frappeert, is dat er eigenlijk alleen die ene enorm grote wolk was, verder was er vrijwel geen bewolking.

One in a million recording of what is most likely a military TR3B antigravity craft flying silently over a neighborhood at treetop level in Clearwater florida! Cop sees a trianglar craft and shines his spotlight on it! It’s recorded on his cruiser video system. He records it on his cell phone before it’s deleted. You can see this craft is completely black and quite large and is moving very slowly over the neighborhood.
Here’s the police officer’s statement posted on a blog.
“i am a law enforcment officer for a police agency in florida. while i was dispatched to a call 10/4/19 at 117 am in regards to suspicious person, upon arrival i noticed a completely back triangular shape craft with no lights about 40 feet above the ground traveling about 35 mph in a southerly direction. the craft had no sound. as the craft came into the line of sight of my cruiser it passed behind some trees and i saw a clearing of trees ahead and it was going in that direction. i shined my spotlight and illuminated part of the craft as it passed between the trees. the craft continued on and i had arrived on the scene of a call so i could not follow. later after finishing the call i reviewed the dash cam video of the time i arrived and saw the object. the video cameras record constantly and are save temporarily to a cache. unless selected they are dumped and not saved to hard drive. after reviewing the video i could see the incident and part of the craft as it passed between the trees on film. i recorded the playback on my phone from the in-car camera of the cruiser. the upper left corner is a retangular blur which had my personal identification number and i removed it for anonimity.”
This TR-3B or whatever this thing was do not fly around in the daytime where people can see them. The chances of it being seen in the middle of the night are very small. This cop was very lucky to be at the right place at the right time to get this on video. No doubt about it, there is a black object flying over this neighborhood and it’s not an airplane or helicopter that’s for sure.
Two people in my own family saw something very similar back about 1984. This object flew directly over our house at dusk on the outskirts of Anchorage Alaska. Unfortunately I was away at college or would have seen it too! It was reported in the Anchorage newspaper the next day. My family members said it was black, triangular and as big as a 747 jet but flew over our house without a sound and at only about 40 miles per hour.

The photos shows a white glowing disk in the sky during sunset. The white craft really displays its round disk shape well. As I have said before, sunset is one of the hottest times to catch a UFO. Around 6:14pm I was sitting on a bench at Lorimer Park with my camera and I looked up at the moon. I noticed something near the moon that looked like a plane reflecting light off of the sun. The sun wasn't set yet and the sky was clear. It seemed too early for any stars to be out. I kept my eye on it and it was getting further away from the moon even though it appeared stationary. The moon was rising but it was getting further away horizontally. I kept my eye on it on and off while driving home and eventually it disappeared. The stars are out now and it's not there. I wanted to rule out it being a UFO but when I got home I checked MUFON and I saw that two other people in the area submitted reports on a very similar object earlier in the day.

Eyewitness states: I was on vacation with my family at Yosemite National Park in June of 2018, some pictures I take with my cell phone, and most of another pictures with my Nikon camera with wide lens. two weeks ago my wife ask me to print some pictures to frame, and I found I little dark spot on the right corner of the picture.
This eyewitness was taking some selfies at a national park in California and accidentally caught a silver metallic UFO disk in the back ground! He didn't see it till he got home and took close look at the photos, where he discovered the strange craft in the background. The disk is more visible in black and white, which makes it focus well. This is absolutely 100% proof that an alien base is hidden in the mountains of Yosemite National Park and the US government knows it and made it a wildlife reserve on purpose to keep people from knowing.

Put an ear to the ground on Mars and you'll be rewarded with a symphony of sounds. Granted, you'll need superhuman hearing, but NASA's InSight lander comes equipped with a very special "ear."
The spacecraft's exquisitely sensitive seismometer, called the Seismic Experiment for Interior Structure (SEIS), can pick up vibrations as subtle as a breeze. The instrument was provided by the French space agency, Centre National d'Études Spatiales (CNES), and its partners.
SEIS was designed to listen for marsquakes. Scientists want to study how the seismic waves of these quakes move through the planet's interior, revealing the deep inner structure of Mars for the first time.
But after the seismometer was set down by InSight's robotic arm, Mars seemed shy. It didn't produce its first rumbling until this past April, and this first quake turned out to be an odd duck. It had a surprisingly high-frequency seismic signal compared to what the science team has heard since then. Out of more than 100 events detected to date, about 21 are strongly considered to be quakes. The remainder could be quakes as well, but the science team hasn't ruled out other causes.
Quakes
Put on headphones to listen to two of the more representative quakes SEIS has detected. These occurred on May 22, 2019 (the 173rd Martian day, or sol, of the mission) and July 25, 2019 (Sol 235). Far below the human range of hearing, these sonifications from SEIS had to be speeded up and slightly processed to be audible through headphones. Both were recorded by the "very broad band sensors" on SEIS, which are more sensitive at lower frequencies than its short period sensors.
The Sol 173 quake is about a magnitude 3.7; the Sol 235 quake is about a magnitude 3.3.
Each quake is a subtle rumble. The Sol 235 quake becomes particularly bass-heavy toward the end of the event. Both suggest that the Martian crust is like a mix of the Earth's crust and the Moon's. Cracks in Earth's crust seal over time as water fills them with new minerals. This enables sound waves to continue uninterrupted as they pass through old fractures. Drier crusts like the Moon's remain fractured after impacts, scattering sound waves for tens of minutes rather than allowing them to travel in a straight line. Mars, with its cratered surface, is slightly more Moon-like, with seismic waves ringing for a minute or so, whereas quakes on Earth can come and go in seconds.
Mechanical Sounds and Wind Gusts
SEIS has no trouble identifying quiet quakes, but its sensitive ear means scientists have lots of other noises to filter out. Over time, the team has learned to recognize the different sounds. And while some are trickier than others to spot, they all have made InSight's presence on Mars feel more real to those working with the spacecraft.
"It's been exciting, especially in the beginning, hearing the first vibrations from the lander," said Constantinos Charalambous, an InSight science team member at Imperial College London who works with the SP sensors. "You're imagining what's really happening on Mars as InSight sits on the open landscape."
Charalambous and Nobuaki Fuji of Institut de Physique du Globe de Parisprovided the audio samples for this story, including the one below, which is also best heard with headphones and captures the array of sounds they're hearing.
On March 6, 2019, a camera on InSight's robotic arm was scanning the surface in front of the lander. Each movement of the arm produces what to SEIS is a piercing noise.
Wind gusts can also create noise. The team is always on the hunt for quakes, but they've found the twilight hours are one of the best times to do so. During the day, sunlight warms the air and creates more wind interference than at night.
Evening is also when peculiar sounds that the InSight team has nicknamed "dinks and donks" become more prevalent. The team knows they're coming from delicate parts within the seismometer expanding and contracting against one another and thinks heat loss may be the factor, similar to how a car engine "ticks" after it's turned off and begins cooling.
You can hear a number of these dinks and donks in this next set of sounds, recorded just after sundown on July 16, 2019 (Sol 226). Listen carefully and you can also pick out an eerie whistling that the team thinks may be caused by interference in the seismometer's electronics.

A Gallery of Hidden Prehistoric Rock Art Points to Lost Indian Civilization
India is a land of many civilizations. Now it appears that another one has been uncovered in the west of the country. A team of explorers has discovered a number of petroglyph sites that belonged to an ancient society that was previously unknown. The discovery of the primitive art is allowing experts to study what seems to be a lost Indian civilization and to understand more about the subcontinent's very complex prehistoric past.
Primitive rock carvings in Western India
The petroglyphs or rock carvings are located in the hills of the Konkan region of Maharashtra, mainly in the districts of Ratnagiri and Rajapur. The rock art was created by removing or carving exposed stone. There are believed to be thousands of these rock carvings in the Konkan area, all presumably belonging to a lost Indian civilization. They are generally located near villages and some are familiar to locals and tourists but many more have now been discovered and not even local residents were aware of their existence.
The rock art was discovered by two explorers, Sudhir Risbood and Manoj Marathe who began a systematic survey of the area after finding some images. The duo has led teams on hikes across a vast area of the hilly region looking for rock art. The carvings were often buried beneath earth and mud, but others could still be seen. Those that were out in the open are considered holy by the local communities.
The team enlisted local students to help to identify carvings and to gather local tales on the images. The BBC reports that this provided the experts with "a lot of valuable information". Apart from identifying individual rock carvings the explorers are documenting and recording the petroglyphs. Risbood and Marathe have been tireless in their efforts to raise awareness of the carved figures. They are also actively lobbying the local government to support efforts to study and conserve the prehistoric works of art.
One of the most remarkable things about these images is that there are so many of them and that they are so diverse. There are carvings representing humans, animals, birds, and geometric shapes. It is hard to date the carvings, but it is estimated that some of the recent finds are the Neolithic period and possibly some of the oldest discovered.
The images allow experts to understand something of this forgotten Indian civilization. According to the Smithsonian, the director of the Maharashtra state archaeology department “suspects the original artists may have come from a hunter-gatherer society.” The lack of domesticated animals would show that they were not an agricultural society and therefore would be reliant on hunting and gathering. Some of the images are of sea creatures and indicate that the society was one that was also dependent on fishing. These carvings are reminiscent of others found on other continents.
Most of the older images are of animals that lived in this part of India in prehistoric times. While the images are of recognizable animals and humans, their meanings have not been deciphered. Another mystery is there are images of rhinos and hippos and these are not native to this part of India. Iflscience has reported that experts are baffled at “how exactly the artists were able to produce recognizable carvings of non-native species.” The rhino can be found elsewhere in India, the hippo is not native to the sub-continent.
To explain why representations of non-native animals were carved, several theories have been put forward. Some speculate that the people who made the images had recently migrated from Africa. Then there are those who argue that hippopotamuses once lived in the region. There are also suggestions that the rhinoceros was much more common in India in the prehistoric era than in historical times.

What do the carvings tell us?
Risbood and Marathe have been successful in their efforts to secure more state support for their investigations of the rock art. The state government of Maharashtra has pledged funds for the study of several hundred of the rock carvings. It is expected that this will allow for more knowledge to be obtained about the rock carvings and the society that produced them. However, it is believed that the meanings of the glyphs will remain mysterious. While the origin and the ultimate fate of this lost Indian civilization will be even harder to establish.

UFO Lobbyists Are Trying to Get the Truth From Congress, and They're Winning
There's been an explosion of UFO lobbyists in DC—from Tom DeLonge to lawyers who demand that the president does a "Disclosure," in which he admits aliens live among us.
How do you make the government take UFOs seriously? With a UFO lobbyist, of course.
In December 2017, the New York Times wrote about a de-funded secret Pentagon UFO program called AATIP, and revealed that several Navy pilots in 2004 and 2015 engaged in bizarre encounters with anomalous aerial objects off the coast of California and Florida. Eventually, three videos of “unidentified aerial phenomena” were released and have since been confirmed by the Navy as real.
For years, Steven Bassett was Capitol Hill’s lone UFO lobbyist. He became a registered lobbyist in 1996 and set up an advocacy organization, the Paradigm Research Group (PRG), which has the goal of using “all means possible to confront the United States government regarding its policy of a truth embargo on the events and evidence demonstrating an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race and the formal acknowledgement of that presence,” according to Bassett’s website.
“It's not about UFOs. The term is a product of government propaganda in service to the truth embargo and no longer of value,” Bassett told Motherboard. “It's about extraterrestrials and the Disclosure process.”
For those not fully immersed in Ufological culture, “Disclosure” is the total and final admission by the government that extraterrestrials are not only visiting Earth, but that there is a massive government cover-up to hide the truth from the public. The UFO community has even taken to Twitter to raise awareness of the Disclosure process for the 2020 election with the hashtag #askthequestion.
“A significant percentage of all people on Capitol Hill are convinced there is an ET presence. They are just not able to speak to it—publicly,” Bassett said.
Bassett’s PRG organization has recently hired Teresa Tindal, another registered lobbyist who is now also fighting for greater transparency about UFOs. Like Bassett, Tindal is convinced that extraterrestrials are visiting Earth and interacting with humans. She believes that the government is complicit in a massive cover-up.
“The cat’s out of the bag and politicians will be looking to control the issue,” Tindal told Motherboard. “It is, after all, the most powerful political initiative as it affects absolutely every aspect of life. Polls show most people believe in ET life.”
Bassett and Tindal are like the Mulders of the UFO political process, but there is always a Scully. Not everyone who pushes lawmakers to deal with the UFO issue in DC is convinced that aliens should be on the agenda.
“At no time do we or have we mentioned extraterrestrials. We are simply ensuring our government does not fall victim to ‘strategic surprise’ by the technology being displayed by [Unknown Aerial Phenomena],” Luis Elizondo, a former intelligence officer who was involved in the Pentagon’s UFO hunting Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, told Motherboard. “Whether it be from Russia, China, allies, or little green men. Our efforts focus on the national security and technology aspect; not ET.”
Elizondo explained that he is not a registered lobbyist, nor does he consider himself to be a lobbyist of any sort.
"Our efforts in Washington are focused on facilitating the flow of information from where it resides to those individuals in key leadership positions in order that they can make a well informed decision. Whether it be one focused on national security, defense, science and technology, or diplomacy, ensuring our elected leaders and those assigned to key positions have the latest and most complete picture is something we believe is critically important," Elizondo said.
Elizondo currently works for former Blink-182 lead singer Tom DeLonge, and his company To the Stars Academy of Arts and Science. He also appeared on the History Channel’s newest UFO hunting show, Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation.
“We simply don't know at this point if non-human technology is even part of the equation,” Elizondo stated. “It is a nonsensical assertion at this point in time because we simply need more data to even make that initial assessment.”
Elizondo’s boss, To the Star’s founder Tom DeLonge, has made his personal beliefs clear on the issue. In his book, Sekret Machines: Gods, co-written with Peter Levenda, DeLonge sums it all up by arguing that humanity was visited by aliens in its distant past, and that all human culture is one big “cargo cult.”
While the official party line of the To the Stars’ political lobby may be devoid of the extraterrestrial narrative, Bassett doesn’t buy it.
“The ‘To the Stars Academy of Arts and Science’ team are operating under certain conditions laid down by those still inside who are providing cover. No classified content released. Non-disclosure agreements must be honored. Do not talk ‘extraterrestrial.’ Why? There are factions inside the [military industrial complex] opposed to the TTSA project and would stop it if they could. Therefore restraint is required—for now,” Basset told Motherboard.
TV personality and UFO researcher Chase Kloetzke also works in Washington as a lobbyist meeting with lawmakers about ‘the phenomenon.’ The issue all of the lobbyists face, Kloetzke explains, is that UFOs are considered sensitive information.
“This topic is now in the hands of the Pentagon, military strategists and intelligence agencies. It’s all classified. To be part of ANY discussion in DC about UAPs, you need a security clearance,” Kloetzke said in an email. According to Kloetzke, she has “spoken to senior staff for seven lawmakers and two Senators.” While she is unsure as to how much progress she has personally made, she is convinced that To the Stars is a key player in all this and that the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program is “still in play.”
“I realized years ago that any kind of Disclosure or Confirmation will only be ‘Official,’ if it comes from DC. I do this because of the evidence and facts that we can now present to start the process of public information,” Kloetzke said. “We have unknown objects in our skies. Confirmed! The question now, and the only questions right now are ‘What are these objects?’ and ‘Who are the pilots controlling them?’”

Remember when you were a kid and you used to stare up into the clouds and pick out shapes and animals? Well Chris Keegan has taken that timeless exercise to whole new level by applying it to photos of space from NASA’s Chandra X-Ray Observatory.
Like a child lying on the grass, he ponders a photo for a while and as soon as something jumps out he takes the image into Photoshop and starts rearranging the celestial elements to reinforce what he's seen.
A London-based illustrator by day, Keegan says he was particularly interested in the way the photos allowed him to play with scale. He usually works with much smaller ideas and objects, so playing with something as big as the stars was liberating.
"In one picture you can see thousands of stars and the idea of having a person or a bird taking up that sort of size was quite unusual," he says.

Ever since the discovery of organic molecules in a meteorite that landed in Australia about half a century ago, scientists have been tantalized by the possibility that the building blocks of life originated in space. New research is shedding light on how such compounds might have formed and found their way to Earth.
Fred Ciesla, a planetary scientist at the University of Chicago, and Scott Sanford, a NASA astrophysicist, say our solar system was on the fast track to create life before Earth existed. The scientists made a computer model of the solar nebula—the disk of gas and dust from which the Sun and planets formed 4.6 billion years ago. The primordial debris included icy grains containing frozen water, ammonia and carbon dioxide, among other molecules.
Ciesla and Sanford simu- lated the movements of 5,000 ice grains over a million years in the turbulence of the solar nebula, which tossed them about like laundry in a dryer, lofting some “high enough [so] that they were being irradiated directly by the young Sun,” says Ciesla. High-energy ultraviolet radiation broke molecular bonds, creating highly reactive atoms that were prone to recombine and form more stable—and sometimes, more complex—compounds.
Ciesla and Sanford say this process could have generated organic molecules such as amino acids, amphiphiles and nucleobases—the building blocks of proteins, cell membranes and RNA and DNA, respectively.
Some of these organic molecules found their way to small rocky bodies—planetesimals—that littered the early solar system. Those, in turn, combined to form comets, asteroids and planets, including ours. Thus young Earth, Ciesla theorizes, was infused with organic molecules fabricated in space. Additional organic compounds, he suggests, could have formed later in Earth’s primordial soup or were delivered to our planet by comets and meteorites.
The odds of meteorites reaching Earth got a boost from Jupiter, say Rebecca Martin, a NASA Sagan Fellow from the University of Colorado, and astronomer Mario Livio of the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore. When the solar system was forming, Jupiter’s gravity prevented nearby planetesimals from coalescing. The bodies smashed into one another, breaking into fragments that settled into an asteroid belt 158 million miles from Earth. If a young Jupiter had passed through the belt while settling into its orbit around the Sun, it would have scattered the asteroids; if its orbit had been too far from the belt, asteroids would have accumulated and constantly bombarded the Earth, rendering it lifeless. Instead, the asteroid belt provided just the right amount of asteroids to courier compounds to Earth without pounding it into oblivion.
Both studies point to the possibility of life on other planets. Ciesla says, “If the process that we describe did play a role in the formation of the organics that we see in meteorites, then we expect basically every solar system to contain” organics. However, only 4 percent of the known solar systems in our galaxy possess a Jupiter-type planet in the right place to create an asteroid belt like ours. “There could be more asteroid belts out there,” says Martin, “but we just can’t see them yet.”
As the number of newly discovered exoplanets – planets orbiting distant suns – continues to rise, so do unexpected surprises. Scientists say that giant exoplanet GJ 3512b shouldn’t even exist around its tiny star, but it does.

Scientists have learned a lot in the past few decades about how planets form, but there is still much left to be figured out. Unexpected discoveries can sometimes make that more difficult, but also that much more interesting, of course. Now, another one of those discoveries has been made, an exoplanet 30 light-years away that – according to current theoretical models – shouldn’t exist, but does. An observatory in Spain discovered the planet, called GJ 3512b, and now researchers at the University of Bern in Switzerland are trying to solve the mystery.
This planet – GJ 3512b – was discovered by a Spanish-German research consortium called CARMENES using a telescope at Calar Alto Observatory in southern Spain. A major goal of CARMENES is to find planets orbiting the smallest stars, using an infrared spectrograph.
The puzzle here is that the planet is too big for its star, GJ 3512, according to the conventional understanding of modern-day astronomers. The star itself is a dwarf star, only about a tenth the mass of our sun. But this tiny star is orbited by a giant planet, half the mass of our solar system’s largest planet Jupiter. That shouldn’t be possible, scientists thought. As Christoph Mordasini, a professor at the University of Bern, explained:
Around such stars there should only be planets the size of the Earth or somewhat more massive super-Earths. GJ 3512b, however, is a giant planet with a mass about half as big as the one of Jupiter, and thus at least one order of magnitude more massive than the planets predicted by theoretical models for such small stars.
Mordasini continued:
Our model of the formation and evolution of planets predicts that around small stars a large number of small planets will be formed. Our model predicts that there should be no giant planets around such stars.
The exoplanet GJ 3512b was discovered by the CARMENES consortium with an instrument installed at the Calar Alto Observatory in southern Spain.
Mordasini is one of the leading experts in the theory of planet formation, and CARMENES reached out to him about their unusual discovery.
So how to explain this?
The current model of planet formation – core accretion – says that planets form “from the bottom up,” starting off small and gradually accreting material to grow larger. But maybe that’s not the case with GJ 3512b. Maybe it formed by gravitational collapse. According to Mordasini:
A part of the gas disk in which the planets are formed collapses directly under its own gravitational force. A top-down process.
But there are problems with that idea, he said:
Why hasn’t the planet continued to grow and migrate closer to the star in this case? You would expect both if the gas disk had enough mass to become unstable under its gravity. The planet GJ 3512b is therefore an important discovery that should improve our understanding of how planets form around such stars.

Giant exoplanets similar to Jupiter or Saturn have been discovered orbiting many stars now and are apparently common, at least in our own galaxy. Understanding how they form – around both larger and smaller stars – will help scientists better understand how planets form overall. The discovery of GJ 3512b shows, again, that we should also expect the unexpected, that the universe is full of surprises. When scientists find something that shouldn’t be able to exist – but does – that is an exciting moment in science.
Bottom line: Astronomers have discovered a giant exoplanet that current planet formation theory says shouldn’t be able to exist – but it does.

What lies behind ghosts, demons and aliens – according to sleep researchers
If you believe in the paranormal you might not be surprised if you hear stories of deceased loved ones appearing during the night, huge explosions heard just as someone is drifting off with no obvious cause, and other peculiar occurrences. But what if you don’t?
My interest in the paranormal started with an impromptu coffee with a colleague, Chris French, who researches reports of paranormal experiences. He told me stories of countless people who had recounted such events. These experiences tended to start while lying in bed. Then something unusual would happen – perhaps a demon would appear or the environment would seem strange or there would be a sensed presence. The person having this experience might also report being glued to their mattress, tarmacked into the bed, totally unable to move.
It’s unsurprising that people who experience such things might interpret them as paranormal. But certain phenomena such as sleep paralysis provide an alternative to paranormal explanations for such occurrences. Hence my interest in the subject, as a sleep researcher.
Sleep paralysis
When we sleep, we cycle through different stages. We start the night in non-rapid eye movement (NREM) sleep – which gets progressively deeper. We then cycle back until we hit rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. During REM sleep we are most likely to have vivid dreams. At this stage we are also paralysed, perhaps as a safety mechanism to stop us acting out our dreams so that we don’t end up attempting to fly.
But during sleep paralysis, features of REM sleep continue into waking life. Those who experience it will feel awake yet might experience dream-like hallucinations and struggle to move. This experience is pretty common, occurring in around 8% of people (although estimates vary dramatically depending on who we are asking). It’s even possible to induce sleep paralysis in some people, by disrupting their sleep in specific ways.
Certain researchers, French among them, believe that this explains a huge number of paranormal accounts. Information about sleep paralysis is finally seeping into public awareness, but we now need to understand more about this common complaint.
Sleep paralysis aside, how else are sleep researchers helping to explain paranormal experiences? People sometimes describe experiencing huge explosions during the night which simply can’t be explained. There is no sign that a shelf has fallen down or a car has backfired. There is no one playing the electric guitar next to their head.
Again, this can be linked to our sleep – this time explained by “exploding head syndrome”, a term coined relatively recently by the neurologist JMS Pearce. When we fall asleep, the reticular formation of the brainstem (a part of our brain involved in consciousness) typically starts to inhibit our ability to move, see and hear things. When we experience a “bang” in our sleep this might be because of a delay in this process. Instead of the reticular formation shutting down the auditory neurons, they might fire at once.
As with sleep paralysis, this phenomenon is also under-researched. For this very reason, in 2017 my colleagues and I joined forces with BBC Focus and Brian Sharpless, a leading expert on this phenomenon, to collect data on this topic.
Imps and ghouls
Finally, what might scientists make of precognitive dreams? We might dream of a friend we haven’t seen for years only to have them call us the very next day. French thinks science can provide an explanation for this too. Referencing work by John Allen Paulos that focuses on probabilities, he explains how such an occurrence may be surprising on any single day, but over time, quite likely to occur.
Researching my book, I spoke to Mrs Sinclair, who is 70, and lives alone. She told me about what she had thought was a ghost living in her house, an imp throttling her during the night and other things that had left her petrified. Having scientific explanations provided her with immense comfort and she no longer believes in paranormal explanations for the things that she experienced.
Our hope is that scientific explanations of paranormal experiences might help others by lowering anxiety. Decreasing anxiety has also been hypothesised as a potential method by which to reduce sleep paralysis. So, perhaps providing more information about these unusual experiences might even mean that things are less likely to go bump in the night.

The Cassini–Huygens space-research mission launched aboard a Titan IVB/Centaur on October 15, 1997.
It was active in space for nearly 20 years, with 13 years spent orbiting Saturn and studying the planet and its system after entering orbit on July 1, 2004. The voyage to Saturn included flybys of Venus (April 1998 and July 1999), Earth (August 1999), the asteroid 2685 Masursky, and Jupiter (December 2000). The mission ended on September 15, 2017, when Cassini's trajectory took it into Saturn's upper atmosphere and it burned up.
After studying a great portion of its photographs Galactic Hurricane noticed strange anomalies that he couldn't really defy according to our laws of physics.
Strange spheres seemed to literally stretch within the rings of Saturn. Some did follow the spacecraft and seemed to signal to the Cassini craft. Did we make contact with some kind of lifeform that has yet to be named?
But the strangest thing happened that on September 25, 2019 when Mauricio Lopez filmed exactly the same object above New York what Galactic Hurricane saw on the Cassini's pictures.
That to me made it clear that something from Saturn could be around or maybe within our Earth's atmosphere?
