The tiny structures are believed to have been the product of an extremely ancient civilization that was capable of developing nanotechnology about 300,000 years ago. The age of these mysterious nanostructures have placed them in the list of “out of place artifacts” given the fact that researchers estimate them to be around 300,000 years old. The Russian Academy of sciences performed several tests on these mysterious objects and the results were quite interesting. Researchers found out that the largest pieces that were unearthed were made almost entirely out of copper and the smaller ones from tungsten and molybdenum.

The materials were submitted to a more extensive research a couple of years after their discovery to find out more about the mysterious objects and their composition and according to the Russian Academy of Science and their department for Geology; the metals have not originated in nature on their own, meaning that they are components that have a artificial technological origin, in other words they were manufactured.

Kenneth Arnold’s alien UFO reflections imply time’s bidirectional arrow

Vancouver, BC – An exclusive video published to YouTube on June 18, 2014, purported to reveal alien origins behind what the Atlantic magazine had cited as a 1947 UFO incident that “introduced the world to flying saucers.” The unprecedented video report filtered pilot Kenneth Arnold’s spoken witness testimony through a lossless digital audio mirror to demonstrate his unconscious sleep talking-like narrative indicating contact with “alien UFOs” during three separate interviews recorded over a thirty year period. This new evidence emerged prior to publication of scientific research suggesting how the thermodynamic arrow of time points in two distinct directions.

Authenticating the pilot’s testimony in the absence of any photographic or other instrumental record offered significant progress in a stagnant research climate where legacy UFO scientists demanded improved methods of witness interrogation. In his evaluation of Project Blue Book as an attempt by the United States Air Force to cover up valid phenomena, astronomer and former United States government UFO scientist Dr. J. Allen Hynek once cited the absence of any Blue Book-improved method of comprehensive witness interrogation.

This critique suggested how Dr. Hynek envisioned possible witness testimony rich in additional details being overlooked by investigators intent upon enforcing an official doctrine of ignorance and denial regarding the existence of UFOs (along with implications of intelligent operators). Evidence of such doctrine can be found in the Durant Report from the CIA Robertson Panel of 1953 which recommended a policy of public smear campaigns targeting individuals claiming UFO sightings and extraterrestrial contact.

On January 12, 2015, researcher and media producer John Greenewald announced his publication of the government archives to The Black Vault website, stating “I am very excited to announce that after months of collecting, programming and converting, I’ve completed a database of 130,000 pages, consisting of more than 10,000 cases, of the Project Blue Book files (including Sign and Grudge). On June 24, 1947, private aircraft operator Kenneth Arnold told staff at an air strip in Yakima, Washington, how he saw nine supersonic UFOs traveling in formation between Mt. Rainer and Mt. Adams earlier that afternoon. He would participate in a number of subsequent media interviews over a period of thirty years, of which at least three are available online. The new video draws from his June 26, 1947, KWRC radio interview, a May, 1949, CBS Radio Special Report along with on-camera statements reportedly offered during the June 24, 1977, First International UFO Congress in Chicago.

The video subjects these recordings of Kenneth Arnold’s spoken testimony to lossless digital mirror filtering whereby portions of the audio reveal apparently intelligible phrases encrypted backwards within his speech. It is a matter of public record that this innovative analytic procedure (popularized through late-night talk radio during the 1990’s) has revealed the signatures of unconscious sleep talking-like communications disclosing verifiably factual information characterized by military, forensic and clinical precision that anticipated details of the Iraq War, identified the BTK Killer and disclosed Edward Snowden’s UFOs.

Three recurring incidents of any event can invoke notions of planned intelligent actions. Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Norman Mineta has illustrated his personal plan-detecting methodology by citing the rule of three on a number of occasions as expressed in the maxim “omne trium perfectum” (Latin: “Everything that comes in groups of three is complete”).

“When you see one of something happen, it’s an accident. When you see two of the same thing happening, it’s a trend. When you see three, it’s a plan,” said the former transportation secretary.

By such a Mineta standard it can be understood that multiple incidents of the term “alien” encrypted backwards within the recorded spoken testimony of pilot and UFO witness Kenneth Arnold over a 30-year period are no accident and not simply a pattern but are in fact indicative of planned communications leading to the unfoldment of human consciousness and the integration of modern civilization with a larger cosmic society.

The publication of new evidence in support of pilot Kenneth Arnold’s 1947 UFO claims provided new and unprecedented insight into a case that evidenced the power of terrestrial media to capture the public imagination (in what has now become a meme-driven online environment). Concurrently, reported secret messages describing aliens and UFOs appear to contradict orthodox notions of time both in the production of backwards real-time encryption and in transmitting acronyms that would not be formalized until the next decade, years after their appearance in the 1947 KWRC radio interview.

While scientists including Professor & Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies at the UC Irvine School of Social Sciences Kourosh Saberi acknowledge human speech as a multidimensional stimulus, there is presently no published neurological theory that explains the existence of these communications as native to brain performance in human speech behavior. The messages also appear in defiance of the arrow of time as defined by physics, in which time and all time-dependent events flow in one direction only, from past to present to future. The notion of a past which itself originates from the future appears to evade such discussions.

Two distinct, symmetric and opposite arrows of time were recently identified in research that suggests how time’s arrow may move concurrently in two directions. Those findings published this past October in Physical Review Letters explained how a simple “big bang” computer simulation demonstrated the influence of Newtonian gravity on particles expanding outwards along two temporal pathways.

“The authors study one of the simplest possible systems: a collection of N point particles interacting through Newtonian gravity. Their only assumptions are that the total energy (potential plus kinetic) and the total angular momentum of the system are zero. From earlier numerical simulations and analytic analysis, it is known that in the distant future, such a system tends to break up into weakly interacting subsystems—typically, pairs of masses in Keplerian orbits. Starting with such a dispersed system and running time backwards, one might expect that it would coalesce in the past into a state of high density. Barbour and his coauthors show analytically that this expectation is right: for almost every initial configuration of masses, there is a unique moment of minimum size and maximum uniformity. From this point, the system expands outward, approximately symmetrically in both directions of time.”

If the term UFO was officially created in 1953 by the United States Air Force, it also appears in the secret messages derived from a 1947 radio broadcast. This observation may represent wishful thinking and bias on the part of the observer or could provide further evidence of time-independent functions of the human brain in which the past, present and future are all perceived as elements of a singular continuum.

The filtering procedure used to mirror Kenneth Arnold’s spoken testimony has been cited above for its power to forecast future events. Perhaps the apparently time-independent nature of these communications lend themselves best to revealing information that resides beyond the horizon of conventional human time perception, disclosing now-common acronyms that would not come into usage until six years later.

The following partial transcript of Kenneth Arnold’s three interviews describing the events of June 24, 1947, was edited for clarity.

Aliens won’t attack: (1947) As I kept looking at them I kept looking for their tails. They didn’t have any tails. I thought, well, maybe something’s wrong with my eyes. I turned the plane around and opened the window and looked out the window and sure enough I couldn’t find any tails on them. The whole observation of these particular ships didn’t last more than about two and a half minutes. I could see them only plainly when they seemed to tip their wing (or whatever it was) and the sun flashed on them.

Saw my spaceship. A UFO: (1947) They looked something like a pie plate that was cut in half with sort of a convex triangle in the rear. I thought that maybe they’re jet planes with just the tails painted green or brown and didn’t think too much of it but kept on watching them. They didn’t fly in the conventional formation that’s taught in our army. They seemed to weave in and out right above the mountain tops. I would say that they even went down into the canyons in several instances probably 100 feet.

Aliens. Listen. Laugh. They’re real: (1949) They passed almost directly in front of me but at a distance of about 23 miles (which is not very great in the air). I judged the wingspan to be at least 100 feet across. The sighting did not particularly disturb me at the time except that I had never seen planes of that type.

Alien. Need the plan: (1977) Right here we’ve seen something. I’ve seen something. Hundreds of pilots have seen something in the skies. We have dutifully reported these things. And we have to have 15 million witnesses before anybody is going to look into the problem seriously? Why this is utterly fantastic. This is more fantastic than flying saucers or people from Venus or anything as far as I’m concerned.

Astronomers may have found giant alien 'megastructures' orbiting star near the Milky Way

A star identified by the Kepler Space Telescope may harbour structures which could point to an adanced technological civilisation

A large cluster of objects in space look like something you would "expect an alien civilization to build", astronomers have said.

Jason Wright, an astronomer from Penn State University, is set to publish a report on the “bizarre” star system suggesting the objects could be a “swarm of megastructures”, according to a new report.

"I was fascinated by how crazy it looked," Wright told The Atlantic. "Aliens should always be the very last hypothesis you consider, but this looked like something you would expect an alien civilisation to build."

The snappily named KIC 8462852 star lies just above the Milky Way between the constellations Cygnus and Lyra. It first attracted the attention of astronomers in 2009 when the Kepler Space Telescope identified it as a candidate for having orbiting Earth-like planets.

But KIC 8462852 was emitting a stranger light pattern than any of the other stars in Kepler’s search for habitable planets.

Kepler works by analysing light from distant places in the universe — looking for changes that take place when planets move in front of their stars. But the dip in starlight from KIC 8462852 doesn't seem to be the normal pattern for a planet.

Tabetha Boyajian, a postdoc at Yale told The Atlantic: “We’d never seen anything like this star. It was really weird. We thought it might be bad data or movement on the spacecraft, but everything checked out.”

In 2011 the star was flagged up again by several members of Kepler’s “Planet Hunters” team – a group of ‘citizen scientists’ tasked with analysing the data from the 150,000 stars Kepler was watching.

The analysts tagged the star as “interesting “ and “bizarre” because it was surrounded by a mass of matter in tight formation.

This was consistent with the mass of debris that surrounds a young star just as it did with our sun before the planets formed. However this star wasn’t young and the debris must have been deposited around it fairly recently or it would have been clumped together by gravity – or swallowed by the star itself.

Boyajian, who oversees the Planet Hunters project, recently published a paper looking at all the possible natural explanations for the objects and found all of them wanting except one – that another star had pulled a string of comets close to KIC 8462852. But even this would involve an incredibly improbable coincidence.

That’s when Wright, the astronomer from Penn State University and his colleague Andrew Siemion, the Director of SETI (Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) got involved. Now the possibility that the objects were created by intelligent creatures is being taken very seriously by the team.

As civilisations become more technologically advanced, they create new and better ways of collecting energy — with the end result being the harnessing of energy directly from their star. If the speculation about a megastructure being placed around the star system is correct, it could for instance be a huge set of solar panels placed around the star, scientists say.

The three astronomers want to point a radio dish at the star to look for wavelengths associated with technological civilisations. And the first observations could be ready to take place as early as January, with follow-up observations potentially coming even quicker.

“If things go really well, the follow-up could happen sooner,” Wright told The Atlantic. “If we saw something exciting… we’d be asking to go on right away.”

Pebbles on Mars Shaped by Ancient Long-Gone Rivers Dozens of Miles Long

Researchers have used the shape of rounded Martian pebbles to extrapolate how far they must have traveled down an ancient riverbed on the Red Planet. The analysis suggests they moved approximately 30 miles (50 kilometers), indicating that Mars once had an extensive river system.

The shape of some Martian pebbles suggests these rocks once rolled dozens of miles down a river, hinting that ancient Martian waterways were stable and not merely ephemeral streams, researchers say.

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity discovered the small, round stones near its landing site in Gale Crater on the Red Planet in 2013. Researchers previously determined that these stones resemble those found in rivers on Earth, which become round as they slide, roll and hop down riverbeds and scrape other rocks.

Now, a new study suggests the Martian rocks rolled in the river for quite a while — a finding that should help scientists reconstruct what ancient Mars was like and shed light on the Red Planet's past potential to support life, study team members said. [Photos: The Search for Water on Mars]

"We believe liquid water is a principal ingredient for life," study co-author Douglas Jerolmack, a geophysicist at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, told Space.com. "Knowing whether pebbles in a river moved 1 kilometer or 100 kilometers [0.6 miles or 62 miles] could tell us how stable water was on the surface of ancient Mars."

The researchers developed a mathematical model to deduce how blocky rocks become rounder and smoother as bits of them chip off due to erosion. Then, the investigators analyzed the shape of the Martian pebbles to estimate the amount of mass each lost due to erosion.

"An object's shape can itself tell you a lot," study co-author Gábor Domokos, an applied mathematician at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, said in a statement today (Oct. 13). "If you go to the beach, natural history is written underneath your feet. We started to understand that there is a code that you can read to begin to understand that history."

To test their model, the researchers rolled limestone fragments in a drum and recorded the changes in their shape and mass. They found that the pattern of changes in the rocks closely followed their models.

Next, the researchers went to a mountain river in Puerto Rico, to analyze the rocks there.

"We started at the headwaters, where chunks of angular rock are breaking off from the walls of the stream, and went downstream," Jerolmack said in the same statement. "Every few hundred meters, we would pull thousands of rocks out and take images of their silhouette and record their weight." The scientists again found that the trend of changes in these rocks closely followed their model.

The researchers also analyzed rocks in an alluvial fan — the fan-shaped deposit of sediment that builds up as a stream flows — at the mouth of a canyon in New Mexico. This area closely mirrors the location where the round pebbles were found on Mars. This work suggested that the shape of the rocks could help scientists estimate how far these stones traveled.

"This is the first attempt to deduce the history of a particle from its shape alone," Domokos told Space.com.

Using publicly available images of the rounded pebbles on Mars from the Curiosity rover mission, the scientists calculated that those rocks had lost about 20 percent of their volume. When they factored in the reduced Martian gravity, which is only about 40 percent of Earth's, they estimated that the pebbles had traveled about 30 miles (50 km) from their source, perhaps from the northern rim of Gale Crater.

This research could also help scientists analyze river-borne particles on other planets and moons, such as Saturn's largest satellite, Titan. "There are pebbles there made of frozen water imaged by the Huygens probe at the mouth of what looks like a river channel," Jerolmack said.

The new method the researchers developed could help analyze not only the history of pebbles in liquids, "but also sand grains in less viscous fluids like air," Jerolmack said. "Our findings can be utilized to look at windblown sediments on Mars, Earth and other planetary bodies where windblown sediments are found."

Despite the extraterrestrial applications, a better understanding of the history of particles "is probably most useful on Earth," Jerolmack said. "Gold and iron ores are often found in rivers, and gas and oil in river deposits, and people will want to know how far pebbles associated with these resources have traveled, to identify their sources."

The scientists detailed their findings online today in the journal Nature Communications.

De Nederlandse wetenschapsjournalist Govert Schilling heeft al over de ster gehoord. Hij vindt het idee dat het mysterieuze licht duidt op aliens 'flauwekul'. ,,Er zijn talloze verklaringen die veel logischer zijn, bijvoorbeeld dat het om stof gaat'', zegt hij. ,,En daarvan weten we wel zeker dat het bestaat. Een Amerikaanse wetenschapper zei eens dat je voor buitengewone claims ook buitengewoon bewijs moet hebben. En het bestaan van buitenaards leven is een buitengewone claim, waarvoor geen bewijs is. Je moet pas gaan denken aan buitenaardse wezens als al het andere is uitgesloten.''

Opmerkelijke objecten die rond sterren zweven, zijn mogelijk dé indicatie voor onontdekte wezens in de ruimte. Dat roept het SETI-instituut, dat onderzoek doet naar buitenaards leven, al jaren. En het lichtpatroon van de bijzondere ster lijkt te worden veroorzaakt door, jawel, onbekende objecten.

De ster kwam aan het licht dankzij oplettende burgers. Amerikaanse wetenschappers gebruiken onder meer de zogenoemde Kepler Space Telescope om naar sterren te kijken, maar het menselijk oog kan soms beter patronen ontdekken dan apparatuur.

Daarom hadden wetenschappers de hulp van burgers ingeroepen om vanuit huis mee te kijken naar de 150.000 sterren die de Kepler Telescope observeert. Dat kan niet met het blote oog, maar wel dankzij beelden van de telescoop, die al sinds 2009 naar de hemel kijkt.

Cirkelende objecten
In 2011 viel het meerdere burgers op dat één 'bizarre' ster een heel ander lichtpatroon uitstraalde dan de andere sterren. Ook de onderzoekers hadden nog nooit zoiets gezien. Zij denken dat het lichtpatroon wordt veroorzaakt door een hoop objecten die om de ster heen cirkelt.

Dat zou niet zo raar zijn als de ster jong is. Toen het zonnestelsel ontstond, draaide er tenslotte ook een verzameling stof en andere objecten om de zon (die ook een ster is). Maar: de ster is niet jong. Als dat zo was, zou er stof omheen zweven dat infraroodlicht uitstraalt. En dat is niet zo.

Alien
Wat voor objecten zorgen dan voor het opmerkelijke lichtpatroon? Wetenschappers weten het niet zeker. Het lijkt geen normaal ruimteafval te zijn. Dat zou al lang verdwenen zijn, bijvoorbeeld door in de oppervlakte van de ster te zijn opgenomen.

Het kan gaan om resten van botsende asteroïdes. Of om een enorme groep kometen, meegekomen met een andere ster die dichtbij de bijzondere ster kwam. Of: om een aanwijzing voor buitenaards leven.

Onderzoeker Jason Wright van de Penn State Universiteit denkt dat de objecten bij de bijzondere ster mogelijk een soort lichtpanelen zijn waarmee buitenaardse wezens proberen energie op te wekken. ,,Aliens moeten altijd de laatste verklaring zijn waar je naar kijkt, maar dit ziet eruit als iets wat buitenaardse wezens zouden bouwen'', zegt hij tegen The Atlantic.

Radiostralen
Talloze onderzoekers kunnen dan ook niet wachten om te kijken wat er aan de hand is. Het plan is om een enorme radiotelescoop op de ster te richten en te zien of er radiostralen vandaan komen die duiden op technologische activiteit bij de ster. Als alles goed gaat, gebeurt dat in januari. Tot die tijd is het de vraag of er vanuit de omgeving van de mysterieuze ster wezens naar de wetenschappers terugkijken.

Could mysterious KIC 8462852 star be home to an ALIEN megastructure?

Could this be the smoking gun that proves we are not alone in the universe?

Scientists are baffled by a strange mess of objects that are circling around a distant star, prompting speculation there could be an ALIEN megastructure out there in space.

The Kepler Space Telescope has picked out KIC 8462852, 1,480 light-years away from Earth, as being of particular interest.

KIC 8462852 appears to be giving off a series of bizarre light fluctuations that are so far unexplained.

Tabetha Boyajian, a postdoc at Yale, told the Atlantic that nobody has ever seen anything like the KIC 8462852 star.

Her report on KIC 8462852 goes into great detail about possible explanations for the star.

She said: “It was really weird. We thought it might be bad data or movement on the spacecraft, but everything checked out.”

The star in question appears to be mature, which means typical explanations for when a mess of matter is circling a star do not apply.

Jason Wright, an astronomer from Penn State University, is among those looking into the star, with investigators from the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) also interested.

“When [Boyajian] showed me the data, I was fascinated by how crazy it looked,” Wright said.

“Aliens should always be the very last hypothesis you consider, but this looked like something you would expect an alien civilisation to build.”

Author of the UFO Investigations Manual Nigel Watson agrees that aliens are a possible explanation for KIC 8462852.

He said: “This is the next best thing to getting a direct message from an advanced extraterrestrial civilisation, as it suggests some form of alien activity. Unfortunately, much like the search for alien radio communications there are plenty of alternative possibilities for these latest findings.

“The search for radio signals or Dyson spheres are based on our own human assumptions about technology, and very possibly advanced aliens are impossible for us to contact or imagine. We can only hope we will stumble on civilisations that have evolved in a similar way to us and have developed technology much like our own.

“Otherwise SETI is a futile enterprise, though KIC 8462852 does give us a glimmer of hope that we are not alone in this vast universe.”

George Bush Sénior réalise une étonnante déclaration sur les ovnis et extraterrestres

George Bush père, l'ancien président des États-Unis, fut occupé ces derniers jours par la campagne de candidature à présidentielle de son fils Jeb Bush, qui, cette semaine a été impliqué dans un événement de collecte de fonds à Orlando, en Floride.

Pendant l'événement, un homme dans la foule a posé une question "inhabituelle", ayant conduit à une réponse tout aussi surprenante de la part de l'ancien chef de la CIA (Central Intelligence Agency).

La question a été posée par un journaliste passionné d'ufologie au sujet du secret autour des ovnis et des extraterrestres.

George Bush sénior répondit : « Les Américains ne seraient pas en mesure de supporter la vérité. »

Suite à cette réponse, le climat a complètement changé dans la salle et toutes les personnes présentes furent extrêmement surprises.

Les organisateurs de l'événement ont immédiatement interrompu le jeu des questions/réponses.

De nombreuses voix se sont ensuite élevées pour expliquer que Bush était âgé de 91 ans et pouvait souffrir d'un trouble des fonctions cognitives ou de la maladie d'Alzheimer.

Cependant, ce n’est pas la première fois que Bush fait référence à la question OVNI.

Déclarations antérieures

Pendant la course à la présidentielle de 1988, James Adder, journaliste du Globe Arkansas, a interviewé à Bush à propos de l'existence des ovnis, et il avait répondu : « Je sais quelque chose. Je connais suffisamment le sujet », entraînant l’arrêt de la conférence.

George Bush père était, à l'époque, vice-président des États-Unis et avait donc accès à des documents classifiés.

L'ancien président américain est par conséquent le plus crédible et qualifié pour répondre à ce type de question, ayant de surcroit été directeur de la CIA entre 1976 et 1977.

Quantum Equation Suggests The Big Bang Never Occurred – The Universe Has No Beginning

When it comes to the science regarding the true nature of our reality, you won’t find a shortage of theories, or a shortage of criticisms of each theory. We are like a race with amnesia, trying to discover and search for an answer that most probably exists, but has yet to be discovered. How did the universe begin?

When it comes to the science regarding the true nature of our reality, you won’t find a shortage of theories, or a shortage of criticisms of each theory. We are like a race with amnesia, trying to discover and search for an answer that most probably exists, but has yet to be discovered. How did the universe begin?

According to new research, there might not have been a big bang. Instead, the universe might have existed forever. The theory was derived from the mathematics of general relativity, and compliment Einstein’s theory of general relativity.

“The Big Bang singularity is the most serious problem of general relativity because the laws of physics appear to break down there.” – Ahmed Farag Ali, Benha University, Co-Author of the study.

The big bang theory postulates that everything in existence resulted from a single event that launched the creation of the entire universe and that everything in existence today was once part of a single infinitely dense point, also known as the “singularity.”

Here is a good picture representing what the big bang theory is referring to.

So the big bang, again, postulates that the universe started out as an infinitely small point in space called a singularity, then exploded and created space where there was no space before, and that it is continually expanding. One big question regarding that expansion is; how did it happen? As you can see in the picture, “who is that guy?!”

According to Nassim Haramein, the Director of Research for the Resonance Project

    “For every action there is an equal opposite reaction.” is one of the most foundational and proven concepts in all ofphysics. Therefore, if the universe is expanding then “the guy” (or whatever “he” is), who is blowing up that balloon, has to have some huge lungs that are contracting to be able to blow it up. This a concept that Nassim Haramein began exploring when creating an alternative unified field theory to explain the universe.”

This is one out of many criticisms regarding the big bang theory. There are many considerations to be pondered. Can something come from nothing? What about quantum mechanics and the possibility that there is no moment of time at which the universe did not exist?

Again, so many considerations to be pondered.

According to Phys.org:

     “The scientists propose that this fluid might be composed of gravitons—hypoth  etical massless particles that mediate the force of gravity. If they exist, gravitons are thought to play a key role in a theory of quantum gravity.In a related paper, Das and another collaborator, Rajat Bhaduri of McMaster University, Canada, have lent further credence to this model. They show that gravitons can form a Bose-Einstein condensate (named after Einstein and another Indian physicist, Satyendranath Bose) at temperatures that were present in the universe at all epochs.”

The theory also suggests (obviously) that there are no singularities or dark matter, and that the universe is filled with a “quantum fluid.” These scientists are suggesting that this quantum fluid is filled with gravitons.

According to Phys.org:

As you can see, when quantum mechanics is thrown into the equation things appear to be far different. Again, this new theory is suggesting that the universe could have always existed, that it never was what we perceive to be as “the beginning.” Perhaps it was just an event that did occur that we perceive as the beginning, perhaps the event occurred not from nothing, but something. Again, who is that guy blowing on the balloon in the picture? There is something there that has yet to be discovered.

    “As far as we can see, since different points in the universe never actually converged in the past, it did not have a beginning. It lasted forever. It will also not have an end, in other words, there is no singularity. The universe could have lasted forever. It could have gone through cycles of being small and big. or it could have been created much earlier.” – Saurya Das at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada, Co-Author of the study.

What We Know Is Often Just Theory

To conclude, it’s clear that we do not yet have a solid explanation regarding what happened during the Big Bang, or if it even happened at all. This new theory is combining general relativity with quantum mechanics, and at the end of the day these are all just theories.

Not to mention the fact that theories regarding multiple dimensions, multiple universes and more have to be considered. When looking for the starting point of creation, our own universe might not even be the place to start. It might be hard given the fact that we cannot yet perceive other factors that have played a part in the make up of what we call reality. What is even harder is the fact that quantum physics is showing that the true nature and make up of the universe is not a physical material thing!

We just don’t know yet, and there are still new findings in modern day physics that delve into non-materialistic science that many mainstream materialistic scientists have yet to grasp and acknowledge.

I’ll leave you with a quote that might give you something to think about:

Physicists are being forced to admit thatthe universe is a “mental” construction. Back to the future: Science studies the possibility of time travel

Who doesn’t remember Marty McFly, back to the future and all the good times watching the awesome movies? Well, it seems that scientists love them as much as we and do not take movies like that lightly.

Before we start, I have to mention that no one is actually building a secret time machine and as things look, a time machine that can take you back and forth through time won’t be built anytime soon. Now, let’s get to the interesting part.

An international group of researchers led by experts from the University of Birmingham, England, opened the debate about the possibility of time travel and if it could be achieved.

Alastair Wilson, the head of scientific research raises key questions in order to investigate the phenomenon: The linear notion that we humans have about time is just our way of perceiving it. This proposes considering temporality as a dimension of the same nature as those that make up the space where we live today.

If we can travel so easily among the top three dimensions, why would it be impossible to make it through a fourth?

According to Wilson, the possibility is somewhere in the universe, near a black hole. There, we could find something physicists refer to as the gateway to the fourth dimension. The team of researchers devoted time to assess the known paradoxes about time travel and the possibility of travelling through time (The Grandfather Paradox).


Dr Nikk Effingham PhD had some interesting things to say about time travel in an interview:

“This ‘Grandfather Paradox’ seems to tell against time travel’s possibility. The most famous contribution to this debate is David Lewis’s ‘The Paradoxes of Time Travel’. We could travel in time, says Lewis, but don’t think you can thereby do the impossible.”

“If you go back in time and try to bring about a paradox, then something will get in your way. Perhaps you slip on a banana peel and miss; perhaps the gun jams; perhaps you bump into the woman of your dreams and decide romance is better than murder. Lots of things might stop you. These questions about the possibility of time travel are still live questions. What have received less attention are issues concerning the probability of time travel, and the project headed by myself and Alastair Wilson investigates just these questions.”

“Is Stephan Hawking as likely as Joey Essex to find his future self telling him how to build a time machine?”

“Am I as likely to meet myself coming from the future, telling myself how to build a time machine as I am to meet myself coming from the future telling me how to answer a tricky crossword puzzle?

"Answers to these questions are difficult to figure out. These issues feature in various attempts to reconcile quantum physics with relativity. Such theories talk about ‘closed timelike curves’ – effectively tunnels through space and time that go back to the past – and so what one says about probability and time travel will have bearing on these difficult questions in physics. So musing about people appearing from nowhere and the likelihood of slipping on banana peels is more than mere navel-gazing.”

As we can see, scientists are finally thinking outside the box which can lead to very exciting results. Despite everything, the team of experts rejects the idea that a machine that would allow mankind to travel through time can be built by ‘humans’.

How NASA Plans To Protect Planets Against An Alien Invasion

NASA has an Office of Planetary Protection. Its purpose is not to protect Earth from invasion by some green skinned monsters, but rather to protect the rest of the Universe from us. With the recent evidence of liquid water on Mars , the possibility of life on the red planet has become a bit more possible, and protecting potential martians from an alien threat is a real challenge.

While Earth is the only planet for which the presence of life is certain, we know that living things can be extraordinarily hardy. We’ve seen organisms thrive in areas of extreme temperature and acid environments. Tardigrades (also known as water bears) have survived the cold vacuum of space, and bacteria have been found within nuclear waste. So it’s not unreasonable to imagine a terrestrial organism hitching a ride on a spacecraft. If that spacecraft comes into contact with a potentially habitable environment they could become an invasive species on another world.

To protect against such an event, NASA has defined different levels of risk, each requiring a different level of spacecraft decontamination. These categories are part of the Outer Space Treaty, which is in international agreement of space faring nations. Under the agreement there are four broad categories:

I – No risk of contamination. This includes orbiters and landers on Mercury and Jupiter’s moon Io, where the chance of life is (as far as we know) zero.

II – Negligible risk. Landers on the Moon and Venus, for example, where indigenous life is not likely to be found.

III – Slight risk. This typically applies to flybys and orbiters for worlds that might have life, such as Mars, Jupiter’s moon Europa and Saturn’s moon Enceladus. These worlds are known to have liquid water and conditions that could sustain life, but the mission is not scheduled to come into direct contact with them.

IV – Possible risk. Landing on potentially habitable worlds such as Mars, Europa and Enceladus.

The last category is further differentiated into three subcategories, based upon whether a lander mission will contain experiments seeking to detect life, or whether it will enter a “special region” such as the areas of Mars where liquid water could be present.

Because of these subcategories the Curiosity rover currently active on Mars is forbidden to study a region with liquid water, even though it’s less than 30 miles away from one of them. NASA’s next generation of Mars rovers scheduled to launch in 2020 cannot study the regions, since they won’t meet the most stringent of sterilization levels.

While robotic missions can be sterilized to high standards, crewed missions cannot. Currently any landing of a crewed mission must first be visited by a robotic mission to verify the region is inhospitable, and humans wouldn’t be allowed to enter special regions. But will that be enough? Our dreams of a human voyage to Mars will be an invasion of terrestrial organisms, and that could put our dreams of finding alien life at risk.

A Stone's Throw From Stonehenge Lies a Massive New Mystery

Located in Wittshire, England, Stonehenge is one of the world's most iconic man-made landmarks. Tourists flock to the raised stones to ponder their origins and meaning. Are these the marks of an alien burial site? Were ancient sacrificial rituals conducted here? How were these stones raised before the advent of modern technology? Stonehenge baffles tourists (and historians) to this day as it sits isolated in the middle of the English countryside.

Recently, a group of archaeologists from the Stonehenge Hidden Landscapes Project uncovered the extensive remains of a 90-stone structure less than two miles from Stonehenge. Using remote sensing technologies, the archaeologists were able to detect the presence of the massive stone monument, which is currently buried under a bank of grass. Though the archaeologists aren't entirely sure when the monument was built, they are able to place its construction as contemporary to Stonehenge itself, some time between 2,000 and 3,000 BC.

This new discovery means Stonehenge is not isolated and may in fact be relatively small in comparison to its newfound neighbor. Scientists and archaeologists alike are scrambling to figure out the significance of the new monument and where it figures into the history of the area.

Luckily for them, the new monument is surprisingly well-preserved, and excavation of the stones could lead to specimens more easily researchable than Stonehenge. If full excavation occurs, the monument would form a half moon that dwarfs its sister site. Preemptive hypotheses suggest the new stones might've been used for ancient calendar purposes, as a sacred space for religious acts, or as the wall of an arena.

In a statement released to the press by the Stonehenge Hidden Landscapes Project, Paul Garwood, Senior Lecturer in Archaeology at the University of Birmingham, reflected on the project's game-changing discovery, "The extraordinary scale, detail and novelty of the evidence produced by the Stonehenge Hidden Landscapes Project is changing fundamentally our understanding of Stonehenge and the world around it. Everything written previously about the Stonehenge landscape and the ancient monuments within it will need to be re-written."

Regardless of what scientists uncover, this story will be an important one to watch unfold. And in the near future, the discovery might also be a can't-miss addition to the English travel itinerary.

Three Ancient Alien Sanctuaries that scientists cannot explain

There are many places on Earth that baffle archaeologists and scholars ever since their discovery but we can probably isolate a few of them which have been built which such precision that modern-day engineers and architects cannot replicate them. Among our favorites are without a doubt Puma Punku, Tiahuanaco and Teotihuacan, our three Ancient Alien Sanctuaries.

These three majestic ancient citadels have caused quite a debate among researchers and the general population. All three defy our understanding of ancient man in every way, raising numerous questions that modern-day scholars cannot answer.

Just how did ancient mankind construct Puma Punku with such precision? Why is it that at Tiahuanaco, every race on Earth is depicted? And why did the builders of Teotihuacan use mica in their constructions? These are some of the questions that challenge mainstream understanding of ancient mankind.

We believe that ancient mankind was much more advanced than what scholars tell us today. We believe that there are lost technologies somewhere out there that allowed the builders of Teotihuacan, Puma Punku and Tiahuanaco erect such majestic buildings.

Teotihuacan, built by the Quinametzin giants?

This ancient citadel was established around 100 B.C., lasting until its fall between the seventh and eighth centuries. Teotihuacan was one of the largest cities in the ancient world, it is one of the most incredible ancient cities in America, there we can find evidence that the builders , unknown to history, had incredible knowledge in Mathematics, Geology, Astronomy and Engineering. Just as many other ancient cities, Teotihuacan was mysteriously abandoned in 700 A.D.

Among the most interesting findings at Teotihuacan we have MICA.

Mica was known to ancient Indian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman and Chinese civilizations, as well as the Aztec civilization of the New World. Mica is stable when exposed to electricity, light, moisture, and extreme temperatures. It has superior electrical properties as an insulator and as a dielectric, and can support an electrostatic field while dissipating minimal energy in the form of heat and is thermally stable to 500 °C. The question is... why did the builders of Teotihuacan use mica in their buildings? The mica used in the buildings of Teotihuacan was brought from Brazil.

Puma Punku is one of the most important places if you want to see what ancient man was capable of. These stone structures are among the biggest ever found.

Puma Punku and Tiahuanaco: Lost in space and time

Puma Punku is a large temple complex or monument group that is part of the Tiwanaku Site near Tiwanaku, Bolivia. Puma Punku is so unique in the way that it was constructed, shaped and positioned, that it is among the most intriguing ancient site on the planet. No one has been able to explain the precision found at Puma Punku. The massive stones were hewn at quarries over 60 miles away according to archaeologists... and oh just in case you did not know, Puma Punku is located at an altitude of 12,800 feet, which means it is located above the natural tree line, this means NO trees grew in that area which means that no trees were cut down in order to use wooden rollers, the question is how did they transport the stones?

As for Tiahuanaco...

The ancient citadel of Tiahuanaco is located near Puma Punku, less than a quarter-mile northeast of Puma Punku. Scientists believe Tiahuanaco was once the center of a civilization with more than 40,000 inhabitants. It’s said that Tiahuanaco displays all the races of mankind, even elongated skulls, people wearing turbans, people with broad noses, people with thin noses, people with thick lips, people with thin lips, and some of the statues are particularly unusual and are unlike the ones found in the nearby area.

One of the most important archaeological artifacts ever discovered in Tiahuanaco or Puma Punku is the famous Fuente Magna Bowl, a ceramic bowl that has Sumerian cuneiform and Proto-Sumerian hieroglyphic written on it.

'Hand of God' Spotted by NASA Space Telescope (Photo)

Religion and astronomy may not overlap often, but a new NASA X-ray image captures a celestial object that resembles the "Hand of God."

The cosmic "hand of God" photo was produced when a star exploded and ejected an enormous cloud of material, which NASA's Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array, or NuSTAR, glimpsed in high-energy X-rays, shown in blue in the photo. NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory had imaged the green and red parts previously, using lower-energy X-rays.

"NuSTAR's unique viewpoint, in seeing the highest-energy X-rays, is showing us well-studied objects and regions in a whole new light," NuSTAR telescope principal investigator Fiona Harrison, of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, said in a statement.

The new image depicts a pulsar wind nebula, produced by the dense remnant of a star that exploded in a supernova. What's left behind is a pulsar, called PSR B1509-58 (B1509 for short), which spins around 7 times per second blowing a wind of particles into material ejected during the star's death throes.

As these particles interact with nearby magnetic fields, they produce an X-ray glow in the shape of a hand. (The pulsar is located near the bright white spot in the image but cannot be seen itself, NASA officials said.)

Scientists aren't sure whether the ejected material actually assumes the shape of a hand, or whether its interaction with the pulsar's particles is just making it appear that way.

"We don't know if the hand shape is an optical illusion," Hongjun An, of McGill University in Montreal, said in a statement. "With NuSTAR, the hand looks more like a fist, which is giving us some clues."

The red cloud appearing at the fingertips is a separate structure called RCW 89. The pulsar's wind may be heating the cloud to produce the low-energy X-ray glow, astronomers believe.

The X-ray energies seen by NuSTAR range from 7 to 25 kiloelectron volts, or keV, whereas the energies seen by Chandra range from 0.5 to 2 keV.

The Hand of God is an example of pareidolia, the psychological phenomenon of perceiving familiar shapes in random or vague images. Other common forms of pareidolia include seeing animals or faces in clouds, or the man in the moon. Despite its supernatural appearance, the Hand of God was produced by natural astrophysical phenomena.

Project Mercury: America's 1st Manned Space Program

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration came into being on October 1, 1958. NASA announced the seven Project Mercury Astronauts on April 9, 1959, only six months later. Mercury was NASA's first human spaceflight program. Its major aim was to see if humans could function effectively in space for a few minutes or hours at a time. Each mission flew only one person at once into space, starting with 15-minute long missions and gradually expanding to a day's time.

The first seven astronauts were chosen in 1959, and they and their families instantly became worldwide celebrities. Their fame was further enhanced with an exclusive contract with Life magazine for $500,000 (or about $4 million today). The stories painted the astronauts as American heroes fighting communism with their space missions.

The PR was part of the Mercury program's push to fly a man in space before the Soviet Union did. While Mercury failed in that aim, it did provide a technological basis for the more challenging orbital missions of Gemini and the moon missions of Apollo that took place later in the 1960s.

Early Mercury flights

There were several tests of the Mercury spacecraft before humans were put on board. The first living creature to fly on Mercury was not a test pilot, but a chimpanzee.

The chimp, named Ham (an acronym for Holloman Aerospace Medical Center), blasted off aboard a Mercury Redstone rocket on Jan. 31, 1961. NASA officials wanted to fly Ham first in case the flight ran into technical problems, which it did. The spacecraft flew higher and faster than anticipated and splashed down more than 400 miles off course, but Ham emerged healthy except for mild dehydration and fatigue. After one more test flight on March 24, NASA felt ready to bring its first astronaut into space. That person was Alan Shepard, a World War II veteran and Navy test pilot. When he lifted off on May 5, 1961, for a suborbital flight, his milestone came just weeks after the first man (a Russian, Yuri Gagarin) made it into space on April 12.

Shepard's 15-minute flight aboard Freedom 7 was a success, but he was frustrated at not making it first. "We had 'em," Shepard is reported to have said about the Soviets at the time. "We had 'em by the short hairs, and we gave it away."

Mercury's next flight on July 21, 1961, ran into a major snag. Gus Grissom's Liberty Bell 7 performed relatively well on the 15-minute suborbital hop until splashdown, when the door unexpectedly blew open. Grissom found himself in the water as the recovery helicopter tried in vain to rescue the spacecraft. The cause of the door problem was never found. Sadly, Grissom died in a launch pad fire aboard Apollo 1; one factor in his death was a hatch door his three-person crew could not open.

Reaching orbit

While the Mercury missions were technological feats for NASA and its contractors, they were quite short — only 15-minute arcs between Florida and the Atlantic Ocean. The Soviets, meanwhile, had already done orbital missions that circled the Earth several times. Getting the Americans to that stage would require a more powerful rocket, among other mission changes.

So when John Glenn aimed for three orbits of Earth, his Friendship 7 spacecraft did it aboard a more powerful Mercury-Atlas rocket combination. He blasted off on Feb. 20, 1962, and during his three-orbit and five-hour mission, discovered strange "fireflies" that were appearing to follow his spacecraft, a phenomenon later explained as ice crystals coming off the hull.

Controllers saw an indication that his landing bag had prematurely deployed. They waited to tell Glenn, then close to re-entry instructed Glenn to keep his retrorocket package strapped on to his spacecraft as a precaution. The indication turned out to be false, and Glenn was upset that he had not been told as soon as the problem arose. He nevertheless became a public hero and eventually parlayed that popularity to make a second career in the Senate before returning to space aboard a shuttle in 1998.

The next mission, Aurora 7, again ran into splashdown problems on May 24, 1962. Pilot Scott Carpenter landed about 250 miles (400 kilometers) off course after about five hours in space. Some space program officials, notably flight director Chris Kraft, blamed the problem on Carpenter's inattention during the mission.

In two oral interviews with NASA, Carpenter said it was a combination of technical problems (some sensors were malfunctioning) and excessive fuel use as Carpenter worked to solve Glenn's firefly mystery. "There was excessive fuel use, which scared a lot of the folks on the ground. There was enough. There was enough for the entry. A lot of people thought there would not be. And it was anybody's guess," Carpenter recalled in 1998. He never flew again.

Closing the program

With the two-man Gemini spacecraft heavily in development, NASA focused the last two missions on making sure that spacecraft and astronauts could be ready for missions that lasted over several days. Wally Schirra, who named his spacecraft Sigma 7 to honor excellence in engineering, went so far as to ask program officials to turn off the automatic controls on his spacecraft so he could better manage fuel use. Schirra launched on Oct. 3, 1962, for a six-orbit mission, carefully rationing his fuel through the mission by using just small bursts of thruster fuel at a time.

By the time he was ready to go back to Earth, more than half of Schirra's fuel was left. In his autobiography "Schirra's Space," the astronaut said he had to dump the remainder. His mission drew praise in NASA and he flew two more missions in the Gemini and Apollo programs, becoming the only astronaut to fly in all three of NASA's manned space programs.

Schirra's success cleared the way for Gordon Cooper to go for 22 orbits between May 15 and 16, 1963, aboard his spacecraft, Faith 7. With astronaut Deke Slayton sidelined due to a heart condition, and the Gemini program ready for flights, NASA shifted its attention to this new program. There, the agency aimed to learn more about orbital maneuvering and human endurance for future moon missions.

Extensive Ancient Underground Network Discovered From Scotland to Turkey

Stone Age man created a massive network of underground tunnels criss-crossing Europe from Scotland to Turkey, a new book on the ancient superhighways has claimed.

German archaeologist Dr Heinrich Kusch said evidence of the tunnels has been found under hundreds of Neolithic settlements all over the continent.

In his book – Secrets Of The Underground Door To An Ancient World – he claims the fact that so many have survived after 12,000 years shows that the original tunnel network must have been enormous.

‘In Bavaria in Germany alone we have found 700 metres of these underground tunnel networks. In Styria in Austria we have found 350 metres,’ he said.

‘Across Europe there were thousands of them – from the north in Scotland down to the Mediterranean.

‘Most are not much larger than big wormholes – just 70cm wide – just wide enough for a person to wriggle along but nothing else.

‘They are interspersed with nooks, at some places it’s larger and there is seating, or storage chambers and rooms.

‘They do not all link up but taken together it is a massive underground network.’

Some experts believe the network was a way of protecting man from predators while others believe that some of the linked tunnels were used like motorways are today, for people to travel safely regardless of wars or violence or even weather above ground.

The book notes that chapels were often built by the entrances perhaps because the Church were afraid of the heathen legacy the tunnels might have represented, and wanted to negate their influence.

In some cases writings have been discovered referring to the tunnels seen as a gateway to the underworld.

When people hear that I am a professional astronomer, they often ask "Do you believe in UFOs?" Sometimes they say, "I have seen a UFO…" and then proceed to describe their incredible encounter. Quite often they say they saw a bright light in the sky; some describe it moving at high speed and following them.

These types of stories are quite common among UFO believers. In 1967, police officers in 11 counties in the US state of Georgia chased after a reported UFO for several days - until someone told them they were chasing the planet Venus.

It can at times be very bright, even in early morning or late afternoon light. When the observer is in a moving vehicle, he often has the illusion that Venus is chasing after him. When I hear reports of UFOs, my first response is usually, "Which direction was it?" If the person says west, I then ask, "What time of day did you see it?" If they answer, "In the evening," I reply, "It is quite likely you saw Venus".

Casual observers have been known to confuse planes, balloons, meteors, fireballs, clouds and optical atmospheric phenomena with UFOs. Our skies are crowded with artificial satellites that move quickly across the sky. When sunlight reflects on them, they may be perceived as UFOs.

UFO believers may accuse me of being narrow-minded or conservative. But I would argue that it is they who are conservative. If an alien civilisation was capable of space travel and came hundreds of light years to reach us, why would they travel in a primitive mechanical device? Why would their spacecraft emit visible light, when they have the entire electromagnetic spectrum available? We forget that visible light is only a very narrow part of the spectrum, and our eyes are tuned to this narrow part to take maximum advantage of sunlight.

Intelligent life forms other than humans likely exist, and may already be among us. But would we recognise them?

Our galaxy is 10 billion years old and has 100 billion stars. There are probably more than 100 billion planets in it. It is therefore not unreasonable to think that it contains other intelligent life forms, and we are not alone. We must, however, remember that we are a very young and primitive civilisation. Humans have been around for only 100,000 years, and we have been capable of distant communication for only about 100 years. Given the age of our galaxy, probability suggests that if there are alien civilisations in it, they will be millions of years older and technologically far more advanced.

We cannot imagine technologies 100 years from now, let alone 1,000 years. I am sure, however, that visiting aliens won't be using 1950s earth technology, which is what a light-emitting flying saucer is. If extraterrestrials visit our planet, they will travel in forms that are entirely unknown and invisible to us. They may actually be here already.

If you dropped a thumb drive onto a street in Paris or London 100 years ago and someone picked it up, would they know that it contained thousands of songs, hours of movies and volumes of books? Would they have any idea what it was? Almost certainly not. This is what technological progress can do - and that is only a few decades, not thousands of years.

UFO believers are often adamant about what they have seen and describe their encounters as emotional or even spiritual experiences. They can be highly educated. It is very difficult to convince them that they are probably wrong.

I think the physicist Richard Feynman said it very well: "It is much more likely that the reports of flying saucers are the results of the known irrational characteristics of terrestrial intelligence than of the unknown rational efforts of extraterrestrial intelligence." Along this line of thought, I suggest that UFO studies should be pursued as a branch of psychological research. There are more mysteries in the human mind than bright lights in the sky.

Drone Video: The Gigantic New Telescope China's Building To Hunt Aliens

Bigger is better when it comes to radio telescopes--and China is building the biggest.

China began constructing the world's largest and most sensitive radio telescope this past summer. New drone footage released by China Central Television shows they are making rapid progress. The telescope is expected to be ready by September of next year.

When it's finished, the Five-hundred-meter-Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) dish's diameter will surpass the current record holder, the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, by 200 meters. It will be able to detect radio signals from planets a billion miles away, potentially widening the search for alien life. It could also detect new exoplanets, pulsars, and galaxies, while helping to shed light on the evolution of the cosmos.

The telescope dish will be supported and moved around by a system of poles and cables, which can be seen in the video. Read more about how it will work.
