In 2008, Japanese researchers announced that according to their calculations, there should be an “undiscovered” planet at a distance of about 100 AU (astronomical units) that has a size of up to two-thirds of the planet Earth. These calculations support the hypothesis of the existence of Nibiru, or Planet X. Here we bring you 20 things you should know about the mysterious planet Nibiru.

- The name “Nibiru” originated from the ancient Sumerians, who once inhabited ancient Mesopotamia, modern-day Iraq. It is the twelfth planet describe by Zecharia Sitchin.

- Nibiru is also called Marduk, and it arrives to our solars system with a extreme clockwise elliptical course.

- According to several ancient texts from Mesopotamia, there is strong evidence that supports theories that Nibiru, has an orbital period of 3600 years. The number 3,600 was represented by the Sumerians as a large circle.

- The expression for the planet, the “shar” also means a perfect circle or full circle and also represents the number.

- Ancient Astronaut theorists believe that the convergence of the three concepts – planet / orbit / and number 3,600 – could not be a coincidence.

- Strangely, The periods of the kingdom were also multiples of shar, 3,600 years, leading to the speculation that the empires shares were related to the orbital period of 3600 years.

- NASA has identified a planet with an anomalous orbit around our Sun, they refer to it as Planet X. The Washington post and other news agencies wrote about it in 1983 and the coming years.

- According to the Washington Post: “A heavenly body possibly as large as the giant planet Jupiter and possibly so close to Earth that it would be part of this solar system has been found in the direction of the constellation Orion by an orbiting telescope aboard the U.S. infrared astronomical satellite… ‘All I can tell you is that we don’t know what it is,’ said Gerry Neugebauer, chief IRAS scientist.”

- R. Harrington wrote a very interesting article in the Astronomical Journal in 1988. Harrington suggested that a planet three or four times the size of Earth existed, having a position of three or four-time further from the sun than Pluto. According to mathematical models that were presented, it is believed that Planet X or Nibiru, has an extreme elliptical orbit of 30 degrees.

- It is believed that the planet originated from the Orion constellation, passing near our planet and coming towards it from the Sun, after making its way by Earth, it head towards outer space and “disappears” .

- Mythologically speaking, it has the appearance of a fiery beast, appearing in the sky as a second sun.

- Nibriu is a magnetic planet, causing the Earth to tilt in space as it passes.

- Nibiru is believed to have 4 times the diameter of Earth and is 23 times more massive, a truly gigantic planet.

- According to the US News World Report, Planet X or Nibiru exists, the article; “Shrouded from the sun’s light, mysteriously tugging at the orbits of Uranus and Neptune, is an unseen force that astronomers suspect may be Planet X – a 10th resident of the Earth’s celestial neighborhood. Last year, the infrared astronomical satellite (IRAS), circling in a polar orbit 560 miles from the Earth, detected heat from an object about 50 billion miles away that is now the subject of intense speculation.”

- According to an article published in Newsweek on July 13, 1987, NASA disclosed that there may be a 10th planet orbiting our Sun. According to NASA research scientist John Anderson, Planet X might actually be out there, but nowhere near our planets. The article form Newsweek states: “if he is right, two of the most intriguing puzzles of space science might be solved: what caused mysterious irregularities in the orbits of Uranus and Neptune during the 19th Century? And what killed off the dinosaurs 26 million years ago.”

- On October 23, 1996 an article from AP called “New rebel planet found outside the solar system” states the following: A new planet that breaks all the rules about how and where planets form has been identified in orbit of a twin star about 70 light years from Earth in a constellation commonly known as the Northern Cross. The new planet has a roller coaster like orbit that swoops down close to its central star and then swings far out into frigid fringes, following a strange egg-shaped orbit that is unlike that of any other known planet.

The Earth could be headed for a 'mini ice age' researchers have warned.

A new study claims to have cracked predicting solar cycles - and says that between 2020 and 2030 solar cycles will cancel each other out.

This, they say, will lead to a phenomenon known as the 'Maunder minimum' - which has previously been known as a mini ice age when it hit between 1646 and 1715, even causing London's River Thames to freeze over.

The new model of the Sun's solar cycle is producing unprecedentedly accurate predictions of irregularities within the Sun's 11-year heartbeat.

It draws on dynamo effects in two layers of the Sun, one close to the surface and one deep within its convection zone.

Predictions from the model suggest that solar activity will fall by 60 per cent during the 2030s to conditions last seen during the 'mini ice age' that began in 1645, according to the results  presented by Prof Valentina Zharkova at the National Astronomy Meeting in Llandudno.

The model predicts that the pair of waves become increasingly offset during Cycle 25, which peaks in 2022.

During Cycle 26, which covers the decade from 2030-2040, the two waves will become exactly out of synch and this will cause a significant reduction in solar activity.

'In cycle 26, the two waves exactly mirror each other – peaking at the same time but in opposite hemispheres of the Sun,' said Zharkova. 

'Their interaction will be disruptive, or they will nearly cancel each other. 

'We predict that this will lead to the properties of a 'Maunder minimum''

'Effectively, when the waves are approximately in phase, they can show strong interaction, or resonance, and we have strong solar activity. 

'When they are out of phase, we have solar minimums. 

'When there is full phase separation, we have the conditions last seen during the Maunder minimum, 370 years ago.'

THE MAUNDER MINIMUM

The Maunder Minimum (also known as the prolonged sunspot minimum) is the name used for the period starting in about 1645 and continuing to about 1715 when sunspots became exceedingly rare, as noted by solar observers of the time.

It caused London's River Thames to freeze over, and 'frost fairs' became popular.

This period of solar inactivity also corresponds to a climatic period called the 'Little Ice Age' when rivers that are normally ice-free froze and snow fields remained year-round at lower altitudes.

There is evidence that the Sun has had similar periods of inactivity in the more distant past, Nasa says.

The connection between solar activity and terrestrial climate is an area of on-going research.

Some scientists hypothesize that the dense wood used in Stradivarius instruments was caused by slow tree growth during the cooler period. 

Instrument maker Antonio Stradivari was born a year before the start of the Maunder Minimum.

It is 172 years since a scientist first spotted that the Sun's activity varies over a cycle lasting around 10 to 12 years.

Many solar physicists have put the cause of the solar cycle down to a dynamo caused by convecting fluid deep within the Sun. 

Now, Zharkova and her colleagues have found that adding a second dynamo, close to the surface, completes the picture with surprising accuracy.

'We found magnetic wave components appearing in pairs, originating in two different layers in the Sun's interior,' she said.

'They both have a frequency of approximately 11 years, although this frequency is slightly different, and they are offset in time. 

'Over the cycle, the waves fluctuate between the northern and southern hemispheres of the Sun. Combining both waves together and comparing to real data for the current solar cycle, we found that our predictions showed an accuracy of 97%,' said Zharkova.

Zharkova and her colleagues derived their model using a technique called 'principal component analysis' of the magnetic field observations from the Wilcox Solar Observatory in California. 

They examined three solar cycles-worth of magnetic field activity, covering the period from 1976-2008. 

In addition, they compared their predictions to average sunspot numbers, another strong marker of solar activity. 

All the predictions and observations were closely matched.

UFO sightings DOUBLED last month – are the aliens up to something?

UFO hunting group MUFON says that the number of UFO sightings doubled last month – to 1,179 unexplained craft in June.

That’s a rise from just over 600 in the same period the previous year.

Could we be on the verge of ‘disclosure’ – where world governments finally ‘fess up to the fact they’ve been in cahoots with the little green men for decades?

Probably not, according to Roger Marsh of MUFON, who says, ‘We feel it was directly related to the final two episodes of Season 2 of ‘Hangar 1: The UFO Files,.

‘A very high percentage of the June UFO report surge were historical cases.

‘People were watching our show and decided they finally discovered a place where they could report their encounter.

‘”Some of these are very, very interesting and compelling cases currently under investigation.’

Na jaren juridisch getouwtrek heeft de rechtbank in Leipzig de Duitse Bondsdag opdracht gegeven geheime documenten over UFO’s vrij te geven. De Bondsdag heeft een tijd lang geprobeerd de stukken verborgen te houden.

Eerder maakte het Britse ministerie van Defensie bekend in maart volgend jaar 18 geheime UFO-files te openbaren, hoewel nog niet duidelijk is wanneer het publiek toegang zal krijgen tot de informatie.

In 2008 zei toenmalig minister van Binnenlandse Zaken Wolfgang Schäuble dat de Duitse overheid nooit onderzoek heeft gedaan naar UFO’s en er geen interesse in had. Twee jaar later ontdekte Robert Fleischer van Exopolitik.org dat de wetenschappelijke dienst van het Duitse parlement een speciale afdeling had voor het onderzoek naar buitenaardse intelligenties en UFO’s.

De Duitse blogger Frank Reitemeyer sleepte de Bundestag voor de rechter, die tot op heden probeert de documenten geheim te houden. De stukken bevatten onder meer een samenvatting van feiten over UFO’s en de zoektocht naar aliens en details over een VN-resolutie over een internationaal UFO-onderzoeksagentschap.

De Lions Ground Entertainment Group zei in een videoverklaring: “Het nieuws is een doorbraak voor alle UFO-jagers en -onderzoekers.” Anderen zijn bang dat de echte, oorspronkelijke documenten nooit zullen worden overhandigd.

Schrijver Nigel Watson zei: “Soms verbergen overheden dit soort informatie om operationele procedures of andere geheimen te beschermen, zoals bijvoorbeeld namen van getuigen. In dit geval willen ze misschien niet door laten schemeren dat ze dit onderwerp serieus nemen of dat ze net zo in het duister tasten als de rest.”

De Russen hebben een buitenaardse mummie ( Video )

De Russische KGB ontdekte in het begin van de jaren zestig een buitenaardse mummie in één van de piramides in Giza.

Een mummie die wordt genoemd de “Godsbezoeker” en meer dan 12.000 jaar oud is.

De verhouding tussen Egypte en Rusland is zonder meer goed te noemen. Sinds de crisis rondom het Suezkanaal in 1956 heeft Rusland de kant van Egypte gekozen en dat heeft ze het op bepaalde gebieden geen windeieren gelegd.

Het volgende verhaal is ooit uitgezonden via een documentaire op het Amerikaanse netwerk Sci-Fi in 1998. De documentaire, The Secret KGB Abduction Files, is ook ooit maar eenmalig uitgezonden.

Volgens een team van experts, verbonden aan het televisiestation, zijn de opnames echt.

Het verhaal gaat als volgt:

De Russen hadden in 1961 een expeditie georganiseerd naar Egypte onder de naam ISIS (die naam blijft ook maar overal opduiken). Het team bestond uit Egyptologen en militaire experts. De bedoeling was dat men op zoek ging naar kennis die bestond in het oude Egypte en die de Russen zouden kunnen gebruiken in hun militaire toepassingen.

In diezelfde periode vindt er een vreemde toevalligheid plaats.

Twee Bedoeïenen hadden een graftombe ontdekt in één van de piramides van Giza en waren naar binnen gegaan. De twee werden ziek nadat ze de grafkamer hadden betreden en kwamen in het ziekenhuis terecht.

De twee slachtoffers werden in het ziekenhuis niet alleen door de Egyptische veiligheidsdienst ondervraagd, maar ook de Russische KGB.

De twee Bedoeïenen beweerden dat ze de “Godsbezoeker” hadden ontdekt en dit was uiteraard koren op de molen voor Project ISIS.

Het duurde dan ook niet lang voordat de Russische expeditie zich op weg begaf naar de graftombe zoals je op de volgende afbeeldingen kunt zien.

In de stenen sarcofaag bevond zich een buitenaardse mummie met een lengte van ongeveer 2 meter.

De ouderdom van de mummie werd vastgesteld op zo’n 12.000 jaar, ver voordat volgens onze geschiedenisboeken de piramides werden gebouwd.



Is dit misschien het begin geweest van de prille buitenaardse contacten van Rusland die uiteindelijk hebben geresulteerd in een door president Poetin gesloten overeenkomst met buitenaardsen?

Did A UFO Experience Unfortunate Event In Rendlesham Forest In 1983?

U.S. Army personnel stationed close to Rendlesham in Suffolk spotted a mysterious metallic triangle in 1983.

Considered as one of the most unusual events in British history, the Rendlesham Forest Incident will be explored in a new film. Rendlesham UFO has been the subject of a government cover-up for two decades.

In 1983, a weird, metallic triangle, dripping molten metal with a large red eye-like light was observed by U.S. Army personnel stationed near Rendlesham in 1983.

Not like most of the reported UFO sightings, it was highlighted by audio recordings from senior U.S. soldiers, who also took some photos of the object they had seen.

One witness claimed to have received a binary code through telepathy but has never been deciphered.

But despite all of these, the Ministry of Defence concluded that natural phenomena were responsible after they investigated the strange incident.

This explanation has never been accepted by some soldiers involved and UFO fans.

Researcher and film director Daniel Simpson said he did investigations regarding the voice recordings before deciding to direct his fictional take on the incident.

Simpson firmly believes that USAF saw something that was not from Earth.

Witness Lt Col Charles Halt went on record to say the same thing.

Simpson said that the Rendlesham UFO Incident is one of the biggest UFO events if not the largest ever recorded along with Roswell case. It happened for 3 consecutive nights, which Simpson has believed being amplified by USAF personnel’s statements. One of them was a lieutenant colonel, who made a voice recording on a Dictaphone as the incident happened.

Retired soldier Colonel Charles Halt said that their security team saw a light that appeared similar to a large red eye, moving through the trees. According to Halt, it started to drip after a few minutes, something analogous to molten metal.

Other witnesses claimed to have experienced losing time period, seen unusual lights and heard howling noises.

Sceptics have argued that the apparent landing marks were just rabbit holes.

Several soldiers described the craft as flying saucer.

Author of the Haynes UFO Investigations Manual, Nigel Watson, said that the Rendlesham case is one of the most fascinating UFO incidents not only in Britain but the entire world. But no one offered substantial evidence to support the apparent crashes, noted Watson. It has been suspected that debris of crashed flying saucers and their alien pilots were taken away by Government retrieval teams.

Abduction Coverup! MJ-12 and Tau-9’s Extraterrestrial Time Travel Scandal

Majestic 12 (MJ-12) is the code name of a secret committee of scientists, military leaders, and government officials, formed in 1947 by an executive order by U.S. President Harry S. Truman to facilitate recovery and investigation of alien spacecraft after the Roswell, NM UFO incident.

When President Truman was informed about the crash, he authorized Defense Secretary James Forrestal to set up a committee to investigate and deal with the situation. In 1952, when Dwight Eisenhower became President-elect, he was briefed on Operation Majestic-12. The briefing paper listed a 12-man committee and gave details of the UFO crash in Roswell. The final paragraph stressed the need to ‘avoid public panic at all costs’, confirming that the government was covering up the truth about UFOs.

In 1954, in conjunction with the US military, a ship landed to recover the deceased aliens from the Roswell crash. These ET’s made a pact that assumedly still stands today.

According to the work of Dan Burisch, a treaty was created by a group of beings who stated they time traveled from 45,000 years into the future AND 52,000 years into the future in order to obtain our DNA due to a cataclysm on Earth that wiped out most of humanity. Because they were living in underground bases at the time, only some of these people survived. This treaty is known as TAU-9 and involves the exchange of advanced technology for a limited amount of abductions. As part of their agreement, any abducted person would have amnesia and would not remember any part of the abduction or being aboard any spaceship. Terms of this agreement were set to be renewed every 9 years and has been ongoing since 1958.

Because of his involvement and concern for where America was heading, President Eisenhower warned the world of the power of the military industrial complex in his exiting speech in 1961:

It is estimated that there are at least 200 deep underground bases (DUMBs) throughout the world.

According to Phil Schneider, one of these DUMBs is located in UFO hotspot, Dulce, New Mexico.

Because these bases are so secretive and information about them is hidden from the public, it is assumed that they are created for nefarious reasons, including the preservation of those who have kept us enslaved for thousands of years. Supposition has inferred that once underground, the female menstrual cycle becomes irregular and reproduction would drop off significantly. Additionally, many of these people who have been assured underground base privileges come from similar bloodlines, which would be genetically deficient through inbreeding amongst themselves.

If these are they types of beings who returned from the future to harvest our DNA, then do you really think they are benevolent people? I seriously doubt it. Chances are, THEY were the ones who were responsible for whatever cataclysm that became their demise somewhere in the future and are turning to humanity as we know it today to bail them out.

 A former NASA astronaut who has walked on the moon has said aliens are not only real but have visited Earth several times.  Dr Edgar Mitchell, said he was aware of several UFO visits during his career, but each one had been covered up.  The 77-year-old, who was a crew member of the Apollo 14 mission, said sources at the space agency had described aliens as resembling “little people who look strange to us”  Dr Mitchell told Kerrang! Radio that human technology was “not nearly as sophisticated” as theirs and had they been hostile, he warned: “We would be been gone by now”. 

He said: “There’s not much question at all that there’s life throughout the universe, we are not alone at all. I’m most assured about that.  “Have we been able to identify where the other planets are? No, certainly not in our Solar System but we have been able to identify quite a number of planets that could be life bearing planets.  “I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we’ve been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real.  “It’s been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it’s leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.  “I’ve been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes we have been visited.  “Reading the papers recently, it’s been happening quite a bit.”

NASA would never have released such a video but, as we’ve all come to know, Russia has always been straightforward about the UFO phenomenon. A large number of cases take place in Russia and researchers routinely report them.

The video in question was shot by Russian cosmonauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS). In the lower right of the screen we can see the Progress Cargo Ship slowly approaching the station when an unusual shape becomes visible.

As the strange object draws closer, it becomes obvious that it wasn’t made by man. We’ve never built any craft of that particular shape. It does however resemble the infamous Black Knight Satellite.

 

Concerned researchers have suspected the existence of an alien satellite orbiting Earth since 1954, three years before the launch of the first man made satellite, Sputnik 1. In fact, observations suggested not one, but two of these watchers were orbiting high above. By 1960, even the United States Department of Defense had recognized this presence.

During humanity’s first orbital flights, the Black Knight made its appearance and was allegedly seen by Gordon Cooper on the last day of his mission. Reports continued sporadically throughout the next decade, until Scottish astronomer and writer Duncan Lunan brought it back into attention.

He decoded an extraterrestrial signal that allegedly came from the Black Knight and translated it into a star map. The map pointed to a star in the constellation Boötes, but the constellation was depicted as it would have looked 13,000 years ago. Therefore, the extraterrestrial satellite must have been orbiting our planet for the past thirteen millennia. The prospect of having been monitored that long is a bit disturbing, to say the least.

Closer inspection reveals the object is solid and strangely-shaped

If half the rumors about the extraterrestrial space probe are true, and the object in the video is indeed the Black Knight, we might be in a tight spot. Word around the UFO community is that this satellite is a watcher tasked with monitoring our technological level. With humanity’s increased presence outside our atmosphere, the Black Knight could communicate that to its makers and draw them here. Even worse, it could take action on its own.

One thing is certain—seeing it floating slowly towards the ISS is a sign that of its interest.

On the other hand, this could be a very unusual incident involving space junk.

“Rotstekeningen bewijzen dat oude Chinezen Amerika duizenden jaren eerder hebben ontdekt dan Columbus”

Al honderden jaren wordt gedacht dat de Italiaanse ontdekkingsreiziger Christoffel Columbus Amerika heeft ontdekt, maar oude rotstekeningen die in de VS zijn gevonden zouden ervoor kunnen zorgen dat de geschiedenis moet worden herschreven.

Wetenschappers hebben oude graveringen gevonden die erop wijzen dat Chinese ontdekkingsreizigers Amerika al ver voor de Europeanen hebben ontdekt. Ze ontdekten pictogrammen die lijken op oude Chinese tekens.

De onderzoekers zeggen dat de rotstekeningen duizenden jaren geleden kunnen zijn gemaakt door Chinese ontdekkingsreizigers. John Ruskamp, een gepensioneerd scheikundige en amateur-epigraaf uit Illinois, stuitte tijdens een bezoek aan het Petroglyph National Monument in New Mexico op de ongewone pictogrammen.

Hij claimt dat de pictogrammen erop wijzen dat oude volken uit Azië rond 1300 voor Christus al voet aan wal hebben gezet in Amerika, bijna 2800 jaar voordat de schepen van Columbus de Nieuwe Wereld bereikten.

“Deze oude Chinese tekens in Noord-Amerika kunnen niet nep zijn,” zei Ruskamp. “Ze zijn zeer oud. Deze wetenschappelijke studie bevestigt dat de oude Chinezen meer dan 2500 jaar geleden op een positieve manier contact onderhielden met de indianen en Amerika verkenden. Uit het patroon kunnen we opmaken dat het eerder om een expeditie ging dan om een nederzetting.”

Veel experts reageerden sceptisch op de uitspraken van Ruskamp vanwege het gebrek aan archeologisch bewijs voor de aanwezigheid van oude Chinezen in de Nieuwe Wereld. Ruskamp is niet de eerste die claimt dat de Chinezen Amerika als eerste ontdekten. Luitenant-commandant Gavin Menzies beweerde dat een vloot Chinese schepen in 1421, 70 jaar voor de expeditie van Columbus, naar Noord-Amerika is gevaren.

Verweerd

Ruskamp heeft 84 pictogrammen gevonden die overeenkomen met unieke Chinese vindplaatsen verspreid over de VS. Hij zegt dat veel van deze pictogrammen zijn onderzocht door experts op het gebied van oude Chinese teksten. Ze lijken op vormen van schrift die duizenden jaren geleden verloren zijn gegaan.

Pictogrammen die hij op rotsen in Albuquerque heeft gevonden lijken op een vorm van schrift die de Chinezen na het einde van de Shang-dynastie gebruikten. Ruskamp zegt onder meer Chinese tekens voor honden, bloemen en de aarde te hebben gevonden.

Ruskamp heeft een boek en een paper geschreven over het onderwerp. Hij legt daarin uit dat de graveringen duidelijk zijn verweerd, wat erop wijst dat ze lang geleden zijn gemaakt en niet in de afgelopen 150 jaar.

UFO crash boven St.Petersburg, Rusland ? ( Video)

Enkele dagen geleden, op 6 juli 2015, vond er een vreemde gebeurtenis plaats boven de Russische stad St. Petersburg.

Een studente die brokstukken in de lucht naar beneden zag vallen, was ervan overtuigd dat ze een vliegtuigongeluk zag.


Het was toeval dat Ana Zhmaeva die dag op straat liep, in de lucht keek en daar iets zag dat verdacht veel leek op een botsing tussen twee vliegtuigen.

Het volgende is wat ze zag:

Het lijkt op de filmbeelden die je hieronder ziet of er twee objecten met elkaar in botsing komen, waarna uiteindelijk de brokstukken richting aarde vallen.

Ana Zhmaeva vertelt het volgende: “Toen ik begon met filmen verdwenen de twee UFO’s alsof ze waren geëxplodeerd of tegen elkaar gebotst”.

Vervolgens meldde ze het voorval bij de politie, in de hoop dat die meer informatie hadden. Echter, deze ontkenden dat er sprake zou zijn van een vliegtuigongeluk omdat daar bij hen geen enkele melding van was binnen gekomen. Ook waren er nergens brokstukken gevonden, volgens de politie.

Nu wil het toeval dat er ergens in de buurt die dag klaarblijkelijk wel een vliegshow was, maar ook verkeersleiders ontkennen dat er daar sprake geweest zou zijn van een ongeluk. Volgens hen was alles bij de vliegshow zonder problemen verlopen.

De politie bevestigt wel dat zij de video hebben gezien en zeggen dat ze verder onderzoek gaan doen. 

Wanneer je de beelden bekijkt dan is het ook duidelijk dat er enkele objecten tegen elkaar botsen, maar wat voor objecten blijft voorlopig een raadsel.



Nu is St Petersburg ook weer één van die plekken op aarde waar regelmatig UFO’s worden waargenomen. Misschien is dat het geval omdat de Russische president Poetin daar is geboren, wie weet.

Zo waren er in begin april 2012 bijvoorbeeld talloze getuigen die een soort vloot van oranjeachtige UFO’s waarnamen boven de stad. De volgende video is gemaakt op 9 april 2012.



Twee dagen later, op 11 april van dat jaar, was het weer raak:



Wat dat betreft is het dus niet zo vreemd dat er twee van die UFO’s boven St. Petersburg tegen elkaar zouden kunnen botsen.  Wat natuurlijk ook nog een mogelijkheid zou kunnen zijn, is dat het geen botsing betreft tussen verschillende UFO’s, maar dat het er één is die explodeert.

Latest Videos and Pics of the Latest Flight Test of NASA’s Flying Saucer

NASA’s latest test flight of its flying saucer in hopes to send humans to Mars safely and efficiently was considered as a partial success of the most ambitious project so far after its parachute failed to open properly.

NASA website statement said that its Low-Density Supersonic Decelerator (LDSD) project completed the second flight test when the large saucer-shaped craft splashed down successfully in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of the Hawaiian island of Kauai.

But a problem was encountered during the live recorded launch when the parachute only partially opened. The parachute was intended to slow the craft in descent only.

However, the second test was an improvement on the previous one where the parachute was ripped to shreds after opening, which means that more work should be done before it can be used. The U.S. space agency has until 2035 to improve the flying saucer-shaped craft.

The latest launch has been delayed due to poor or unstable weather conditions near the surface, which prevented the launch of the balloon. The test flight used a balloon to transport the spaceship above Earth’s atmosphere, so calm conditions are needed for the test flight to go ahead.

The craft underwent preliminary tests in June 2014 when it was sent 120,000 feet above Earth, where the thin atmosphere is similar to Mars. The balloon exploded after it reaches the correct height. We’ll keep you updated with more pictures and videos of the test and other tests in the future.

Unidentified flying object (commonly abbreviated as UFO or U.F.O.) is the popular term for any aerial phenomenon whose cause cannot be easily or immediately identified by the observer. The United States Air Force, which coined the term in 1952, initially defined UFOs as those objects that remain unidentified after scrutiny by expert investigators, though the term UFO is often used more generally to describe any sighting unidentifiable to the reporting observer(s). Popular culture frequently takes the term UFO as a synonym for alien spacecraft. Cults have become associated with UFOs, and mythology and folklore have evolved around the phenomenon. Some investigators now prefer to use the broader term unidentified aerial phenomenon (or UAP), to avoid the confusion and speculative associations that have become attached to UFO. Another widely known acronym for UFO in Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian is OVNI.

1) There are an average of 70,000 reported UFO sightings every year, worldwide.

7) Kenneth Arnold Sighting (1947) – Washington, United States
Just before 3 o’clock in the afternoon, Kenneth Arnold, a private pilot and a fire control equipment salesman from Boise, Idaho, was taking a flight over the Cascade Mountains looking for the remains of a lost C-46, over which there was a $5,000 reward being offered.

Arnold did not find the missing aircraft but he saw a bright flash of light and spotted nine brilliant objects, with the lead object a little higher than the rest, moving south toward Mount Rainer. He calculated their speed at 1,700 miles per hour which was an impossible speed. The main object looked like a dark crescent; the other eight objects were flat and disc-shaped. Arnold estimated their chain length to be five miles long. They disappeared soon after. A new era of unidentified flying objects began after this widely publicized sighting in the United States. In fact, it was his descriptions that gave rise to the now common terms “flying disk” and “flying saucer.”

8) No discussion on UFOs is complete without mentioning Roswell. It is considered to be the bread and butter of Ufology, and the heart of UFO studies for long. The news spread worldwide about the first alien craft crash. It was considered as the long awaited proof of extraterrestrial intelligence. The Air Force announced being in possession of the flying saucer but later denied, saying it was a weather balloon.

Years later, there was talk of military cover up of an actual UFO crash. A large area
filled with debris from wreckage was discovered and the material found was unfamiliar and metallic, unlike anything seen before. Although, theories are composed of conflicting accounts, there were some facts that were clear.
Something huge had crashed near Corona. Rumors had it that witnesses were threatened if they revealed what they saw. There were too many witnesses who claimed to have seen alien bodies. There is also enough evidence that autopsie were done on an alien body.

9) One of the most interesting and convincing cases is the abduction of Betty and Barney Hill. The couple was driving home at night on Interstate Route 3 in New Hampshire after a short vacation in Canada, when they noticed a while light in the sky.

Barney got out of the car to look at the object through his binoculars. The light got closer and it looked like a pancake shaped object with windows revealing occupants. They got scared and went back home and realized they had lost a couple of hours without them realizing it.

Betty started having nightmares about aliens and Barney had severe back. A respected psychiatrist in Boston, Massachusetts, felt they were suffering from anxiety syndrome and put them both under hypnosis.

He was convinced that they were abducted by the aliens. During the hypnosis sessions, both revealed separately that they were abducted by bald aliens about five feet tall, green skin and large heads. They said their skin, nail and hair samples were taken. Betty said they inserted a long needle into her naval, which they said was a pregnancy test and Barney had to provide a semen specimen.

One aspect of this investigation that cannot be explained to this day is that in 1963, Betty Hill drew a very detailed map of a star system that was only discovered later in 1969. She said she was shown this map by the aliens.
Astronomers at Ohio State University compared their computer generated map with this one and both were completely alike.

Skeptics point out the inconsistencies, including the aliens speaking to Betty in English while Barney said they used some sort of telepathy.

Now, more than forty years later, it could not be proved that it was a hoax.

10) Philip Spencer, a policeman in London, moved to Ilkley Moor after leaving his job. While getting some photographs of the moor, he heard a humming sound and saw a small green creature, around four feet tall. That creature moved away quickly and when Spencer shouted, it turned and waved an arm dismissively,
which is when Spencer said he took this photograph. It moved faster than a human.
He followed it and saw a huge silver saucer disappear into the clouds. He realized the humming sound was from the saucer.

Later, he realized that he lost more than two hours of his time and his compass also went haywire. The picture was shown to a UFO researcher and a thorough investigation started. Wildlife photography experts and Kodak laboratories revealed that it was no animal and that the object was indeed part of the photo and not superimposed.

Spencer started having weird dreams and under hypnosis, he revealed a fascinating tale of being abducted by an alien and taken aboard the craft and given a medical examination before being released. Spencer could now remember that the picture was taken after his release from the UFO.

One thing that makes the researchers confident that Spencer may not have set the whole thing up was due to the fact that he never wanted publicity or money.

11) The Alien Named “Aleshenka” (1996) – Kashtim, Russia
This is a compelling account of an Alien body from Russia. An elderly woman in the village of Kashtim saw a small creature near the Ural Mountains, and the creature was whistling to catch her attention. She took it home. The creature had skin that was gray with dark brown spots on the head. There was no hair, small holes in place of ears, small and flat nose, long fingers with sharp claws, a tiny hole in place of a mouth and no lips. The old woman nursed it back to health.
After a couple of weeks, the woman was hospitalized for a psychiatric problem and left her companion at home without food.

Later, the dead body of the being that measured 8 ½ inches in length was found by the police. After testing, doctors claimed that the creature is not could not have been a child.

The body was handed over to Galina Semenkova, head of a UFO expert organization. Galina later said that aliens from a flying saucer demanded the body and she gave it to them.

However, the whereabouts of Aleshenka’s remains are a mystery to this day.
Have the aliens really taken it back? Is the mummy under research in some laboratory?

There are several controversies surrounding UFOs. While proponents feel that UFOs are vehicles from other dimensions; skeptics propose the psychological-social hypothesis. There is even the man-made craft hypothesis by some who feel they are nothing but American or Russian aircraft. Fact or Fiction?

12) The first documented UFO sighting is in the Bible. The prophet Ezekiel described a “great cloud with fire enfolding itself, a wheel in the middle of a wheel that descended and fired lightning bolts into the earth.”

13) The first photograph of a UFO was taken in 1883 by astronomer Jose Bonilla in Zacatecas, Mexico.

14) Alexander Hamilton reported a cow being kidnapped by an airship in Le Roy, Kan., in April 1897.

It was the first case of a UFO being “officially” reported.

16) On Feb. 25, 1942, a large, dark object over the Los Angeles coastline was mistaken for a Japanese attack and drew a barrage of anti-aircraft fire.

Germany's parliament has been ordered to release confidential documents about UFOs after a lengthy legal battle.

The existence of the files was disputed as recently as 2008, but a UFO enthusiast discovered evidence to the contrary and pushed for their release.

News of the impending publication has been welcomed by UFO researchers, but some fear they may not be as exciting as hoped.

The German Supreme Administrative Court in Leipzig ordered the Bundestag to make the UFO files available.

In 2008, Dr Wolfgang Schäuble, Germany's Minister of the Interior denied that the German government had ever investigated UFOs, but in 2009, a UFO enthusiast named Robert Fleischer discovered a parliamentary department had been investigating extraterrestrial objects.

A German blogger named Frank Reitemeyer took the Bundestag to court over the secret reports and the dispute has only just been resolved,The Express reported.

No date for the release of information has yet been confirmed.

The British version of Roswell reportedly took place over Christmas in 1980. 

It occurred in Rendlesham Forest, which is next to RAF military bases. 

Soldiers reportedly saw unusual lights and when they investigated, found a metal object with coloured lights. 

But as they approached the 'craft', it moved away, frightening farm animals. 

The incident is unexplained, but some people say the lights were reflections from a nearby lighthouse and the craft may have been a secret weapon. 

On March 31, 1992, high speed white objects were spotted in the skies and an officer at RAF Cosford and Shawbury spotted a large triangular craft hovering at 200ft, which was humming and shining a spotlight. 

The incident was reported to the Ministry of Defence and sceptics say it could be explained by a nearby police tracking helicopter or a Russian rocket re-entering the atmosphere.

UFO enthusiasts are already looking forward to March, when the UK's Ministry of Defence will make 18 confidential UFO files available in the National Archive, although there's a chance they may not be accessible by the public.

Some paranormal investigators have greeted the forthcoming German release with enthusiasm, but Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigation Manual, said: 'They won't reveal any secrets about hidden alien technology or alien bodies, but then again we can always hope!'

Mr Watson believes some governments hide UFO-related information to protect other secrets.

'Sometimes governments hide information like this to protect operational procedures or protect non-UFO related secrets, like the capabilities of early warning systems or the names and details of witnesses,' he said.

'In this case perhaps they don't want to show they have taken this subject seriously, or that they are as much in the dark as everyone else.'

It was only in 2005 that the British government admitted conducting a thorough scientific study into UFOs, after years of denial.

'It concluded that unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAPs, do exist, but not flying saucers,' Mr Watson said.

'When, or if the German files are released, it will be interesting to see if they come to similar conclusions.

He told MailOnline: 'I doubt it [the information] will be anything related to the recovery of crashed saucers or clandestine meetings with aliens.

Mr Reitemeyer told the Berlin Court in 2011: 'I want to know facts and it bothers me that in France, England, USA, Canada, the citizens can see the UFO files, and I am not informed as a German from my German government,' The Huffington Post reported.  

Mr Watson said the move 'shows that public pressure, and the work of activists, does eventually work to get these UFO 'secrets' released by Governments.

'In Britain, it literally took decades for most of the UFO files to be released.

'The demand for UFO information is such that governments are forced to respond and the internet is the ideal medium for making this material available, taking pressure off civil servants who have to deal with requests on a daily basis.'
