UFOs: What Happened at Shag Harbour?

October 4, 1967, a large object was witnessed by man to fall into the the water in a fishing village called Shag Harbour in Nova Scotia. The police and Coast Guard were called in to see what had happened. Eventually, the Air Force and the government chimed in on the investigation.

Almost a dozen people at just after 11 pm, witnessed this crash, reporting a low-flying orange lit object with a sound like a bomb whizzing by. 

It was such a reliable witness account that search and rescue were deployed. One group in a car said they could see something floating on the water. It was immediately considered a possible small plane crash.

Local boats were dispatched and a rescue team and yet no floating debris, bodies or other evidence of a crash was found in the water. Once it was confirmed, no planes were missing, the rescue search was called off. 

It was then labeled a UFO incident and underwater search planned.  Divers came in and dove for three days, reporting nothing found.

Canadian newspapers reported some dark object being hauled off and rumors began. It would seem that something definitely had crashed into the water, but why wasn't it found? The mystery remains today.

In retrospect, sorting through witness reports, others had reported four orange lit objects that night. One meticulous witness (a constable) expressed his take on what he was seeing – a 60-foot object with four lights on it. He reported that he then saw a yellow light moving slowly over the water and leaving a yellowish foam in its wake. It moved into the distance, diving under the water. This observation sounded rather purposeful instead of accidental. 

There is a phenomena called “USOs” which are “unidentified submerged object.” These are UFOs that come and go from the water. 

In the height of Cold War paranoia, there was talk of a Russian plane and American involvement. Even though the story died out locally for a time, there was a nagging residue it left behind of unanswered questions. They found nothing? How could they find nothing when something was very evidently in the water? More meticulous interviews with the witnesses elucidated more details and some things that didn't add up about search and rescue.

For the most part, at the time period this occurred in the latter 1960s, it would seem that civilians and government workers alike were afraid to be attached to statements that might haunt their lives, their security and their careers.

Even after all this time, there are only two things we know for sure about this incident. 1. Something that was lit up, did crash into the water that night. 2. There seems to be information withheld into the true nature of what it was.

 Came out to my Nannas & Papa’s for tea and they invited there friends over, which they live on a farm in the middle of Hardwicke Bay and Warroka, Yorke Peninsula, SA.  I had just finished my tea and I made a phone call to one of my friends from school outside of the office.  All of a sudden it was getting a little breezy and I said on the phone to my friend “It’s getting a little windy, I’m getting a little cold. Is it windy where you are? and cold?” then I looked up at the trees because I could hear the wind becoming more stronger. Then I looked at my phone again because it vibrated and then I heard like a swoshh… like a whirly wind was happening. I looked up and an object was hovering over the trees. It had yellow and orange lights around it shaped in a disc form, then a beam of a light blue and white came down – not all the way – just a little bit around 70-80cm from the under of the object off the ground, and it kept hovering. I said “I will call you back soon” then ended the call. I was screaming because I had no idea what it was going to do to me because I had no idea what it was. I didn’t know if something was gonna jump out or if the object was going to move towards me and make the beam of light which was located beneath the object shine upon me. I was thinking of the documentary that I saw on the TV not long ago which the object beam of light shined upon these people and they were no where to be seen.   

The light from underneath fainted and it moved slowly east and I ran inside and got all the adults and I said “Come quickly there is something in the sky that is moving away. It was directly in front of me while I was talking on the phone!  Did you not hear me screaming? “Quickly” and they all came running out of the house to see it. When we got out there it was moving very slowly away from where I was standing. As we were watching it we were trying to decide what is was by the lights and shape and the movement. Then as I said “UFO” its lights all switched off. Now its no where to been seen. Now I feel so scared because I have no idea where it came from, how it got here, it just came out of no where! I have no idea what to do. I just don’t want it to come back! I definitely don’t want to be abducted!! Now I know we are not the only ones on this planet by the looks of it.

Aliens Shooting Kids: The Voronezh UFO Incident

As Ian pointed out in several previous articles ( one, two, three, four) it’s become obvious that strange things have happened in Russia. Perhaps the Russians are more open-minded towards the UFO phenomenon or they’re just messing with the rest of the world. In any case, I’d like to present the Voronezh UFO incident, for your enjoyment, ladies and gentlemen.

I should note that this event might have happened or it might be nothing more than a media ruse but it’s an interesting one nonetheless.

As the story goes, on September 27, 1989, multiple residents of the Soviet city of Voronezh witnessed a close encounter of the nth kind. You know, the kind where aliens end up shooting people. The Soviet news agency TASS reported that on the evening of that particular day, several kids were kicking a ball in a park on the outskirts of Voronezh when they heard a whistling sound and saw a pinkish glow in the sky.

A crowd of onlookers quickly gathered as the pink glow turned dark red. Shortly after, a UFO in the shape of a flattened disk touched down in the park. A hatch opened and out came a 9-ft. tall alien followed by what could only be a robot. According to the witnesses’ report, the alien had a small head and three. It was wearing a silvery costume and bronze-colored boots and also had a disk strapped to its chest.

The dumbfounded crowd was left speechless, save for a boy who was so terrified he let out a scream. The invaders turned their attention to him and their gaze silenced and momentarily paralyzed the young boy. Naturally, this move did not go well with the public and they all panicked and screamed altogether. Perhaps this situation proved frustrating to the alien visitors since they vanished.

Five minutes later, they rematerialized. Witnesses say the alien now held a 20-inch long tube that resembled a pistol. As they made their way towards the UFO, a 16-year-old boy decided to play the brave and blocked their way. He was promptly dealt with by way of being shot with the alien weapon. The boy disappeared. Only then did the brave people of Voronezh run for their lives.

The intruders entered their spacecraft and shot to the skies. As the last trace of the pink glow faded, the boy reappeared, visibly shaken. If it weren’t for the memory-wipe, he might have had an impressive story to tell.

TASS noted that the witnesses underwent extensive questioning by the Soviet police and they maintained their statements. I don’t know about you but I certainly wouldn’t have appreciated being questioned by those bad boys and I’m fairly certain they wouldn’t have appreciated being lied to. Furthermore, the three youngsters cited as witnesses by TASS were later interviewed by other newspapers and stated that they were still very much afraid.

The young boys weren’t the only ones to step forward. As it would seem, the UFO was also witnessed by a member of the authorities, Lieutenant Sergei A. Matveyev of the Voronezh district police.

At first I thought I must be really tired, but I rubbed my eyes and it didn’t go away. Then I figured, in this day and age, anything is possible. […] it was certainly a body flying in the sky,” NY Times quoted Lieut. Matveyev as saying.

According to some reports, an investigation would later reveal an increased concentration of the radioactive isotope cesium-133 in the area near the UFO’s alleged landing.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much in the way of evidence supporting this case. Although the incident was picked up by media all around the world, an extensive investigation has yet to be performed. If the witnesses indeed exist, objective interviews are needed. Until then, the Voronezh UFO incident remains an interesting story and an unsolved mystery.

Back in November, we ran a short article about Roswell researcher and author Tom Carey and his announcement about new information regarding the well-known incident. We’ve got some updates and we wanted to share them with you.

The Roswell UFO crash is undoubtedly the most famous incident of its kind and needs little to no introduction. Over the years, books have been written and movies have been made on this subject and it’s pretty much given rise to the UFO hunter counterculture. Despite its major impact, there isn’t much physical evidence to support the scenario of a flying saucer crashing in New Mexico in 1947.

However, if Tom Carey is true to his word, things are about to change.

On the 5th of May, an event will be held at the National Auditorium in Mexico City, and during this event we’ve been told we should expect some new evidence to be made public. This proof will come in the form of the much-tooted Roswell Slides, a set of Kodachrome images that allegedly show a deceased small humanoid that was not born into this world.

Should this information prove accurate, we might witness the biggest breakthrough since the term UFO was coined.

According to Carey, the Kodachrome slides have been authenticated by experts and have been confirmed to originate from the Roswell UFO crash.

Who’s this expert? you might ask.

We’ll just have to wait and find out since his identity will be made public on May 5. According to what information we were able to find, this mystery expert has worked as a photo scientist at Kodak for several decades and is quite a reliable source. That remains to be seen but we do hope this information is accurate.

What Roswell slides? you might ask. Where have they been all this time? we might add.

According to Carey, the images were found a while back, while an attic was being cleaned out. A chest containing a copious amount of Kodachrome slides was found in that attic and hidden inside the inner lining of the chest was an envelope containing two images never before released to the public.

The attic and the chest had belonged to a now-deceased couple. The husband, Bernard A. Ray had been an oil exploration geologist that worked in the Roswell area right around 1947. Although Ray was the President of the Texas branch of the American Institute of Petroleum Geologists, curiously enough, his activity ceased altogether after 1947 and he made no appearances and published no papers following this date. Intriguing.

His wife was a high-end lawyer with intelligence connections. She was friends with influential individuals in both public and private sectors.

According to what has been made public so far, these two people were of the highest integrity and were in positions that could have allowed them to obtain these slides. In fact, the other slides in the chest showcased famous people such as President Dwight Eisenhower.

OK, we’ll bite.

The Kodachrome slides belonged to a respectable and connected couple and an expert allegedly authenticated them. Since we advocate open-mindedness, we encourage you to wait until the official presentation and draw the conclusions after. After all, there are only three possible scenarios: 1) the truth will emerge; 2) this is just another hoax and 3) we’ll be left with even more questions and puzzles.

Britain’s Roswell: The Rendlesham Forest UFO Incident

It didn’t crash. It landed.” – Sergeant Bud Steffens

The Rendlesham Forest incident is widely considered the most famous UFO incident to ever take place in Britain. Also dubbed Britain’s Roswell, this case is one of the best documented UFO encounters and was witnessed by dozens of United States Air Force personnel.

As with the Roswell case, the government officially stated that nothing out of the ordinary happened in Rendlesham Forest and that the national security had not been threatened. However, subsequent evidence showed that the Ministry of Defence had documented an extensive file on the subject, leading many to believe a cover-up had taken place.

Let’s take a look at the event.

Rendlesham is a 6 square miles pine forest located east of the town of Ipswich in Suffolk. Near Rendlesham are two former military bases, RAF Bentwaters in the north and RAF Woodbridge which extends into the western side of the forest. At the time of the incident, the bases were leased to the USAF and under the command of Colonel Gordon E. Williams.

The event began on December 26, 1980 at around 3:00 a.m., when two USAF security police patrol men spotted a set of strange lights outside the perimeter of RAF Woodbridge. Believing they had seen an aircraft crashing down into the forest, they requested permission to investigate. Three patrolmen were allowed to proceed on foot.

They reported seeing an unknown glowing object in the forest and described it as being “metallic in appearance and triangular in shape, approximately two to three meters across the base and approximately two meters high.” The object lit up the entire forest with a white light. It had a pulsing red light on top of it and a row of blue lights underneath. It is unclear whether the object was hovering or on legs. When the patrolmen approached the object, it maneuvered through the trees before disappearing. It was reported that at the time of the sighting, animals at a nearby farm had become agitated. An hour later, the object made a brief appearance near the back gate of RAF Woodbridge.

In a later statement, one of the servicemen at Woodbridge, Sgt. Jim Penniston claimed to have seen the “craft of unknown origins”, touched its “warm” surface and written down the symbols that were engraved on its outer shell. He mentioned that the craft was resting on a triangle-shaped landing gear. When Penniston underwent regression hypnosis in 1994 he said that the craft’s occupants were time travelers visiting from the future rather than extraterrestrial beings. However, these aspects do not appear in the report he filed shortly after the incident took place.

I estimated it to be about three meters tall and about three meters wide at the base. No landing gear was apparent, but it seemed like she was on fixed legs. I moved a little closer. I had already taken all 36 pictures on my roll of film. I walked around the craft, and finally, I walked right up to the craft. I noticed the fabric of the shell was more like a smooth, opaque, black glass,” said Penniston.

One common factor regarding cases such as this is that over the years, witnesses come forward with new testimonies that sometimes contradict previous statements. As it turns out, Jim Penniston was accompanied into the forest by John Burroughs and their accounts differ:

As we went down the east-gate road and the road that leads into the forest, the lights were moving back and they appeared to stop in a bunch of trees.[…] Also, the woods lit up and you could hear the farm animals making a lot of noises, and there was a lot of movement in the woods. All three of us hit the ground and whatever it was started moving back towards the open field.[…] We got up to a fence that separated the trees from the open field. You could see the lights down by the farmer’s house. We climbed over the fence and started walking toward the red and blue lights and they just disappeared,” Burroughs said.

When morning came, servicemen returning to the scene noticed three impressions one and a half inch deep and seven inches wide where the object had rested. The nearby trees had burn marks and broken branches. Plaster casts of the imprints were made.

On December 28, several servicemen returned to the clearing where the object had landed. They were accompanied by Lt. Col. Charles I. Halt, who has since played a key-role in ulterior investigations. A radiation check was performed and if we are to trust Halt’s memo, the readings indicated that the unknown craft had irradiated the area.

Beta/gamma readings of 0.1 milliroentgens were recorded with peak readings in the three depressions and near the center of the triangle formed by the three depressions. A nearby tree had moderate (0.05-0.07) readings on the side of the tree toward the depressions,” Halt’s memo read.

Later that night, a bright light was seen pulsing and moving through the forest. It appeared to emit glowing particles end eventually broke off into five distinct white objects that ultimately disappeared. Right after that, three star-like lights were seen in the sky, two to the north and one in the south, at an elevation of approximately ten degrees relative to the horizon. They traveled at high speeds and were capable of making sharp angular turns. During movement, they changed their colors from red to green and then to blue. When viewed through an 8-12 power lens, the objects appeared to be elliptical in shape.

The northern objects disappeared after about an hour while the one in the south remained visible for two or three more hours while intermittently beaming down a ray of light. It is believed the USAF had filmed the incident. If such a tape exists, it has not been made public.

I believe the objects that I saw at close quarter were extraterrestrial in origin and that the security services of both the United States and the United Kingdom have attempted – both then and now- to subvert the significance of what occurred at Rendlesham Forest and RAF Bentwaters by the use of well-practiced methods of disinformation,” Halt said in a 2010 notarized statement.

Penniston and Burroughs were diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder after the incident. Some would argue that PTSD cannot be faked, thus lending some credence to their accounts. In the book co-authored with Burroughs and UFO investigator Nick Pope, Penniston said:

I left the forest a different man… I was in awe of the technology and yes, knowing that it was not an aircraft which could have been manufactured in 1980 or even now.”

Almost 35 years later, we’re no closer to unraveling the mystery of the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident

UFO and alien encounter declared true by historical society

The Great Barrington Historical Society and Museum has inducted an alleged UFO sighting and alien abduction because they believe the case to be “historically significant and true.”

The announcement was made early last month. In it, they refer to the incident as an “off-world/UFO case” that involves Great Barrington residents Thomas Reed and his family. The incident took place on September 1, 1969, and began with UFO sightings that were reported by multiple witnesses in the area. Many of the witnesses had contacted Great Barrington’s WSBS radio, who reported on the incident at the time.

As The Boston Globe reports, Reed claims that this UFO sighting was part of a string of strange encounters he and his family experienced beginning back in 1966. The first encounter took place on their horse farm when Reed was 6 years old. He and his younger brother saw strange lights coming  from the forest and strange figures in their hallway. They remember seeing a large disc-shaped craft in a clearing in the forest, and being taken aboard.

They experienced similar incidents over the next few years.

In one instance, while driving with his mother, younger brother, and grandmother, Reed remembers strange lights in the sky. Soon after, they found themselves in a giant room where they met with two large ant-like creatures. Moments later, they were back in their car.

Reed went into more detail on the encounters and shared the Great Barrington Historical Society’s press release with the audience at the International UFO Congress in Arizona.

In the press release, the Great Barrington Historical Society lists some reasons why they decided to induct the case. They note that the case was examined by U.S. Air Force’s official UFO investigation, Project Blue Book, and that the case was mentioned at the United Nations in 1992.

They also state that, “this renowned case has received international recognition due to factual and corroborated evidence as well as first hand testimony, including recent polygraph test, the Great Barrington Historical Society confirms that the Reed off-world incident is historically significant and true and warrants induction in the GBHS collection.”

Debbie Opperman, the director of the Great Barrington Historical Society, reiterated her belief in the story in an interview with The Boston Globe. When asked what it means that they inducted the case, she answered, “It means that we believe it is true.”

“I know we’re going to get a lot of backlash. We’re going to get hammered,” she continued. “But we have given it an awful lot of thought, and, based on the evidence we’ve been given, we believe this is a significant and true event.”

She also noted that their boards decision to induct the “off-world” case was not unanimous. Opperman said three of the nine members were “strongly opposed.” However, they did receive a consensus, and according to The Boston Globe,  Opperman believes it to be “the first time a ‘mainstream’ historical society or museum in the United States has declared a UFO encounter to be historical fact.”

UFO boomerang formation photographed over Philadelphia

A Pennsylvania witness at Philadelphia reported watching and photographing a group of lights moving in a boomerang formation that could not be identified, according to testimony in Case 63646 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was driving northbound along Frankford Avenue in northeast Philadelphia about 7:38 p.m. on February 26, 2015, when the lights were first seen.

“Noticed lights swirling around and had to look twice because there were wires on both sides of the street and directly above for electric buses,” the witness stated. “I thought it was reflections of some sort at first.”

When the witness realized the lights were not reflections, he pulled over for a better look.

“I took some video and photos until they disappeared into the sky where I could not see anymore.”

The witness reports that the video is poor, but two photos show the V-pattern. The witness included two images with the MUFON report, which was filed on February 28, 2015: Image 1 and Image 2.

Philadelphia is the largest city in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and its only consolidated city-county, the fifth-most-populous city in the United States, population 1,553,165.

Pennsylvania is currently a UFO Alert Level 5 – with 0.71 sightings per million population based on MUFON February 2015 statistics. Pennsylvania received a total of nine UFO reports in February.

The UFO Alert Rating System is based on five levels – 1 through 5 – where states with 4.01 or higher reports per million residents are rated an Alert 1; 3.01 – 4.0 reports are an Alert 2; 2.51 – 3.0 are an Alert 3; 2.01 – 2.5 are an Alert 4; and those states with 2.0 or lower are rated an Alert 5.

Afgelopen zondag schreven wij het verhaal over de vreemde wolk in Bulgarije die door één van onze lezers was opgestuurd.

Hij vertoonde alle kenmerken van wat wij tegenwoordig een dimensieportaal noemen. 

Tot onze grote verrassing echter blijkt dezelfde lezer ook te beschikken over een video-opname van diezelfde wolk. Na het bekijken hiervan was onze verbazing groot.

Nu je de bewegende beelden ziet van waar de foto uit het vorige artikel was genomen, zie je nog beter dat deze wolk een kopie is van de Mexicaanse versie.

Ter vergelijking hier nog eens de video uit Mexico waarin een UFO met grote snelheid in een wolk verdwijnt die er identiek uitziet als die in Bulgarije.

Het is zelfs zo dat mijn kennis mij heeft verteld dat het hier een komen en gaan is van ufo’s.

Hij heeft mij uitgenodigd om van de zomer te komen kijken.

We blijven dan op en zo tussen 2 en 5 uur, des nachts, komen ze regelmatig over.

Hij heeft ook de ervaring dat enkele  ook zo’n beetje om de zelfde tijd komen.

Hij heeft dat ook aan de dorpsbewoners gevraagd en deze waren zeer bekend met het fenomeen.

Hij vertelde me ook dat er in de buurt een krachtplaats moest zijn ( dus met hoge energie ) misschien in Servië.

Zo ik verheug me alvast op de zomer om in een warme nacht dit schouwspel te mogen meemaken.

In de vroegere tijd was dit een plaats waar de romeinen ( door de slaven ) veel goud dolven.

Daarnaast ontvingen wij nog de volgende reactie van de dame uit Friesland die een hele bijzondere ervaring had met een dergelijke wolk zoals door ons beschreven in een eerder artikel:

En ja, mijn wolk was net als die in Bulgarije en (bij nader inzien) toch ook net als die in Mexico.
Wat is de overeenkomst?

Er is één wolk, en in die wolk licht het op. meerdere keren. zoals op het moment, dat de ufo in de wolk vliegt.
we zien dan warme kleuren, geel/oranje en roze. in de wolk. niet erbuiten.
ik heb dat flitsen genoemd, maar feitelijk is dat niet juist.
wat ik gezien heb, is oplichten aan de hemel, vanuit de wolk. geen flitsen zoals je bij onweer ziet.
laat staan flitsen aan de hemel; 'delta's' van electriciteit, die heb ik niet gezien.

Bij de omschrijving van de wolk in Mexico wordt gesproken van flitsen.
maar ook hier zie ik feitelijk géén flitsen.
ik zie oplichten, in de wolk. alsof er zich een lampje (lampjes) in de wolk bevinden.

De wolk in Bulgarije heeft ook weer die lieflijke gloed binnenin. zij het heel lichtjes. geen flitsen.
geen ontlading. tenminste niet op de manier zoals wij kennen van onweer.

Hoewel er op 7 oktober in Lytse Geast opeens regen was, en wind, en oplichten in de wolk weet ik achteraf heel zeker dat ik geen onweer meegemaakt heb.
Donder heb ik ook niet gehoord. geen flitsen, geen donder.

Een dergelijke fenomenale ontdekking zoals we hier hebben met interdimensionale wolken/poorten wordt opvallend genoeg volledig genegeerd. Niet alleen door de mainstream media, wat misschien te verwachten was, maar ook door de alternatieve media.

Het bewijs wat we voorgeschoteld krijgen waaruit blijkt dat er van de ene naar de andere dimensie wordt gesprongen/gereisd. Dat mag toch wel de ontdekking van de eeuw genoemd worden.

Misschien duurt het nog maar weer wat langer voordat de gemeenschap wakker wordt?

Mass UFO sighting over Utah

Shortly after 11pm on February 23, 2015, many people in Utah, Idaho, Montana and Canada reported seeing a huge sphere of light descend from the sky. Many in the media are claiming this to be “space junk” from a “Chinese rocket”. However this explanation makes no sense at all as space junk, like meteors, only glow brightly as they pass through the upper atmosphere. This object maintained it’s size, shape, and consistent glow for over a minute as it descended to the Earth!

Interesting triangle UFO filmed over Texas, 2014

New video of a triangular-shaped UFO hovering in the night sky above Mission in US state Texas. This was seen and recorded on 11th August 2014

Witness report: a little after 10:00 pm I went outside to test my sony camcorder and observed a triangle shaped object moving in a westward direction at a good rate of speed, the sighting lasted about three minutes. the object was emitting a strange pulsating hum like a transformer, the object headed off to the west and i shot video for as long as it was visible. the object stayed on a steady course as it flew in a direct path to the west. I have taped unusual phenomena in the past and have submitted previous ufo footage to mufon so I was i a stable emotional state as I videoed this object, my strongest emotion was curiosity.

Water Planets and Alien Amphibians

Dogon Tribe — In Mali, West Africa, lives a tribe of people called the Dogon whose astronomical lore goes back thousands of years to 3200 BC. The Dogon oral traditions claim a race people from the Sirius system called the Nommos visited Earth thousands of years ago. The Nommos were ugly, amphibious beings that resembled mermen and mermaids as shown. The Nommos, according to the Dogon legend, lived on a planet that orbits another star in the Sirius system. They landed on Earth in an “ark” that made a spinning decent to the ground with great noise and wind. It was the Nommos that gave the Dogon the knowledge about Sirius B.

The Dogon traditions claim the star Sirius has a companion star which is invisible to the human eye. This companion star has a 50 year elliptical orbit around the visible Sirius and is extremely heavy. This legend might be of little interest but the two French anthropologists, Marcel Griaule and Germain Dieterlen, who recorded it from four Dogon priests in the 1930’s. How did a people who lacked any kind of astronomical devices know so much about an invisible star? The star, which scientists call Sirius B, wasn’t even photographed until it was done by a large telescope in 1970. The legend goes on to say the Nommos also furnished the Dagon’s information about our own solar system: That the planet Jupiter has four major moons that Saturn has rings and that the planets orbit the sun.

Dogon Mask of Aliens

These were all facts discovered by Westerners only after Galileo invented the telescope. The story of the Dogon and their legend was first brought to popular attention by Robert K.G. Temple in a book published in 1977 called “The Sirius Mystery”.  Sirius B’s existence was suspected as early as 1844 and seen was through a telescope in 1862. It doesn’t seem to explain a 400-year old Dogon artifact that apparently depicts the Sirius configuration nor the ceremonies held by the Dogon since the 13th century to celebrate the cycle of Sirius A and B. It also doesn’t explain how the Dagon’s knew about the super-density of Sirius B.

Sky And Telescope March 2015 carries an article; “The Very Ancient Origins of the Water Constellations” suggests that many planets may have life based on water civilizations. There is written history indicating some of these civilizations and their amphibian aliens have visited Earth as the Dogon claim. Aquarius is shown in Sumerian artifacts as a god pouring water.

In the ancient Babylonian Empire, Aquarius was depicted as a water bearer god. The Water God was so prominent that his image was even carved on the stone buildings. When he brought the annual month of rain, they called this time the curse of rain.

Egyptian Version

Aquarius is the keeper of the Nile River who pours needed water into the river and creates the rainy season so the Nile will overflow its banks and nourish the valley farmlands.  Aquarius dispensed knowledge, and the glyph for Aquarius depicts the water from the water bearer’s vessel, as a symbol of open-ended spiritual energy.

Some 5000 years ago Oannes was indeed a historical figure and worshipped as a God’ He was a traveler from another planet or from a pre-existing civilization yet to be discovered.

Disease from Space

The team’s finding appears to corroborate the highly controversial views of the origin of life on Earth of the late Sir Fred Hoyle and his colleague, Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe. Panspermia is the theory that life originated in space and later colonized Earth. It was first put forward in the 19th century by the Swedish astronomer, Svante Aarhenius.

In the late 1970s and early ’80s Sir Fred Hoyle and Chandra Wickramasinghe wrote a series of books Lifecloud (London: Dent 1978), Diseases from Space (London: Sphere 1979) and Evolution from Space (London: J.M. Dent 1981), reviving and expanding the theory. They suggested that not only had life come to Earth from space, but that it was viruses and bacteria continued to arrive from space to infect humans and other creatures here on Earth.

They suggested that Darwin’s theory of evolution was inadequate to explain the evolution of the Earth’s creatures. They argued that the process of evolution was actually too rapid to be cause by what they viewed as they slow processes of Natural Selection operating on random mutation. They considered instead that evolution was actually driven through viruses and other genetic material entering and mutating terrestrial organisms from space. They suggested that the seeding of such genetic material on Earth was done deliberately by advanced extraterrestrial civilizations. They suggested that these would artificial, machine intelligences from another cosmos in the universe.

Their theory that evolution has been consciously directed is extremely similar to Intelligent Design, proposed and supported by the mathematicians and scientists William Dembski and Michael Behe. Most of the supporters of Intelligent Design are religious, and the theory has been severely attacked as a form of Creationism.

Note: Alien craft and aliens landing on Earth would likely accidentally or purposely bring various bacteria and viruses. The story of the arc bringing animals of every type may actually refer to life forms brought to Earth. Hieroglyphs on Mars for example show many life forms now found on Earth.

Stranger at the Pentagon

These symbols which Craig Campobasso specifically utilized in “The Stranger at the Pentagon” film are actually Venusians symbols and language – as had been given to him.  Examine them closely as I believe they contain not only a Cosmic Universal Message but a highly personal one to us individually.  The film is under development and the story of person who claimed to be an alien and had unusual powers.

Scientists may have found microbes that eat and breathe electricity. This has forced scientists to reimagine how life works on this planet and others. Siberian Freeze Caused by Kink in Jet Stream

 The most intense cold snap to affect the United States in 20 years descended upon parts of the Midwest last week and is expected to linger through this week.

Temperatures  dipped to nearly negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit —negative 60 degrees with wind chill as far west as Montana and through most of the nation and as far south as the Florida Keys. We haven’t seen temperatures this low since January of 1994. Some 647 cold records were set or tied. Over the weekend, the core of that cold air mass—a whirlpool of frigid air called a “polar vortex”—was shunted southward by the jet stream.

Kink in the Jet Stream.

Experts say the unusually cold temperatures are caused by air chilled in Siberia and Northern Canada being blown south with the jet stream into the U.S.” The jet stream is a band of strong wind that blows in the upper level of the atmosphere and acts as a kind of boundary between cold air in the north and warm air to the south. The jet stream typically blows relatively straight west to east, but every so often a kink forms that changes its direction. This kink can occur naturally or by design. The shape of this kink is a little bit unusual. We haven’t seen something like this in about 20 years.”

What happened to global Warming, instead we seem to be cooling, freezing cold weather records are being broken from the Midwest, East, and South to Miami. The dangerous cold snap has left at least 20 dead. The US has been suffering from massive cold and snow storms disrupting schools, roads, and business. Hundreds of daily record lows and at least three all-time record lows have been set as a frigid air mass from Siberia grips the central and eastern United States with dangerously cold conditions. At least 72 daily record lows were set from Connecticut to Florida, including New York, Baltimore, Washington, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami, Detroit and Cincinnati.

It is my opinion we are in a weather war with massive cold weather being diverted from Siberia to the US. This flow is very unusual bringing the cold temperatures jet stream flow across the top of the world.

Allegedly HAARP units in Russia, China, or Alaska can disrupt the world’s weather patterns. There is strong evidence our weather is being manipulated or GeoEngineered. Weather modification is resulting in the extreme conditions that we are witnessing with unusual early cold and snow this winter.  It appears to be designed to physically harm the US, Canada and Western European Nations. Russia is being economically squeezed by the US and its allies over the Ukraine. In retaliation Russia could be steering the jet stream to carry extreme cold across the Arctic to North America and Europe.

One of the Russian HAARP ionosphere heater installations shown here can routinely manipulate the jet stream. HAARP is a massive electromagnetic tool whose publically stated purpose is to study the Earth’s ionosphere which can affect communication and navigation systems.  However, there is growing evidence it is used to manipulate weather systems.

Dr. Nick Begich writes, “HAARP will zap the upper atmosphere with a focused and steerable electromagnetic beam. It is an advanced model of an “ionospheric heater.” The ionosphere is the electrically-charged sphere surrounding Earth’s upper atmosphere. It ranges between 40 to 60 miles above the surface of the Earth. Put simply, the apparatus for HAARP is a reversal of a radio telescope; its antennas send out signals instead of receiving. HAARP is the test run for a super-powerful radiowave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere by focusing a beam and heating those areas. “Weather modification is possible by altering upper atmosphere wind patterns by constructing one or more plumes of atmospheric particles which will act as a lens or focusing device.” From Angels Don’t Play this HAARP: http://haarp.net/

Russia has more HAARP ionosphere heater installations than any other country and is likely manipulating the jet stream that flows around the world. Pushing the jet stream near Moscow and into Siberia could cause the jet stream to send freezing weather over the Arctic and into Canada and the US. Twenty five percent of the Russian economy is dependent on oil and gas sales so cold weather particularly in Europe helps the Russian economy that has been greatly injured by US led sanctions. Europe like the US is also experiencing cold weather and heavy snows. Eighty people have died in the colder than usual weather. Southern Italy and even Sicily experienced snow falls and cold weather. Europe frigid Arctic weather is coming down over the entire continent.

Electrical engineer Brooks Agnew began researching the secretive Project HAARP in 1997 for the documentary Holes in Heaven, and learned that the technology was capable of weather manipulation, and possible use as a weapon. “HAARP alters the climate by heating the ionosphere and pushing it out into space, leaving voids that are filled in by the stratosphere and troposphere, and allowing for the jet stream to be redirected,” Agnew explained.

Creating extreme weather conditions is a “bloodless tool of war,” and there is good chance it is being used by Russia or China.

There is a mountain of data including already conducted experiments, satellite imagery, lab tests of snow, observations on the ground, and multiple existing patents,  all of which point solidly to the conclusion that cold and snow storms are being engineered with well established weather modification processes. UFO Sightings in the United States

Arizona Cylinder

Wickenburg — Huge object at least 200 or more yards long, light on front and rear only floated directly in front of our home on February 23, 2015. It made no sound or detectable engine noise. It was a clear calm night with partial moon to our left and object came into view from our right. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Alaska Launch

Alakanuk – We saw this object leave the water that flew straight up out of sight on August 10, 2014.

No noise was heard and I was lucky to have my camera on hand to take this image of an object coming out of the sea. It was out of sight in less than 5 seconds. Thanks to MUFON CMS’

California Orb

Playa Del Rey – I was sitting in my car observing the coastal clouds coming in when the object appeared to light up on February 18, 2015. Then it disappeared and appeared again to light up when I took picture, then disappeared and I never seen it again. Thanks to MUFON CMS

San Marcos — My wife and had just picked our 5 year old up from school and were driving home as I glanced up to see a metallic object that was hovering over the golf course. This object looks to be an upside-down shaped teardrop, with what appeared to be a flat almost paddle-like shape formed at the base of the object. We went around the corner to our house, grabbed the camera, and rushed back, about a 1/4 mile away. We got back to the same spot, and could still see the object. But now it was spinning in a slow counter-clockwise rotation, traveling northwest about the same speed as an airplane. Its altitude was around 1500 feet. I spent 10 minutes trying to capture the object, but it appears to “evade” being photographed. We went home, and discovered the first 4 pictures only were of sky, but fifth had a little “dot” that I enlarged. It is a metallic craft of some sort, with red and blue lights around the middle. The object is blurred the more it is magnified, but still is an interesting object to say the least. Thanks to MUFON

Mt. Shasta — I am an airline captain. My co-pilot and I were on our way from LAX-PDX at FL 380 and we were in the Mt. Shasta area and looked out and up and noticed two brighter than normal stars. We were heading about 310 degrees and to our 2 o’clock high, maybe 50 degrees up from the horizon and mentioned to my co-pilot that I didn’t remember ever seeing two stars that were brighter than the surrounding stars in the background. The lights were an inch apart in the windscreen and the size if normal stars. One of the “stars” just dimmed out over a 10 second time span followed by the other one dimming out completely in about 10 seconds also.

The stars now obviously lights were not in motion, and were not satellites or falling stars. The altitude of the lights appeared to be outside of the atmosphere and these were at least 100,000 feet up. Mankind does not have craft that can fly at that altitude and not be moving. Florida Orb

Orlando – Driving home from grocery store on February 20, 2015, I noticed lights next to a waxing crescent moon. I arrived home and viewed non moving lights next to the moon at around 9 pm for 15 minutes.
Came inside to drop off groceries and brought my 12 year old son outside to look at the lights with me.

Moon is moving (as it should ), but 1 white and 1 red light (red light at a 30 degree angle to the right of the white light) appeared stationary. View for the next 15 minutes and lights stay stationary to the moons movement. Returned outside at 10:15 pm and moon moved past horizon and lights gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Cumming — Outside took a picture of the sun just to see if I could on February 6, 2015 about noon.  Later that night I looked at the picture and noticed the object.

Indiana Men in Black

Plainfield – I work as a night security officer at a warehouse located a mile west of the Indianapolis International Airport on Reeves Road with another security officer and we have noticed many V-shaped circular lights in the sky. On the night of February 1st (around 10:30 pm) there was an array of distinctive bright red lights traveling over the airport heading west over Plainfield. I tried to get photos but the light pollution was too bright. I counted 34 red lights traveling back to back and moving very slow but in a straight line. I reported what I saw to a friend in Cincinnati who received a similar report from another witness in Indianapolis.

On February 8th at 1:15 am the security guard at the gate called me on his radio that was very unusual. When I reached the gatehouse, there was a black Chevrolet Impala parked at the gate and two tall people standing by the gatehouse door dressed in black attire with, which were slacks, heavy bomber jackets and leather gloves. They wore beret-like hats with sunglasses, even though it was dark. There was no insignia or lettering on the vehicle, though it had Ohio license plates.  One of the men asked me if I had witnessed anything unusual in the sky above the airport. I mentioned what we had seen on February 1st and that there had been a lot of different lights seen the past year or so. He said he wasn’t interested in the other sightings, just what was seen over the airport. Then he wanted to know if I told anyone else. I asked who they were. They both smiled, apologized for taking up my time and left. Maryland Aerostat-Balloon

Jim Nelson writes, “I shot this picture of a couple of balloons near I-80 in western Utah in December, 2012 that looks a lot like the object shown in your most recent newsletter in Maryland.”

The Tethered Aerostat Radar System is balloon-borne radar. The primary aerostat mission is to provide radar data in support of other federal agencies involved in the nation’s drug interdiction program. One aerostat, located at Cudjoe Key, Fla., transmits TV Marti, which sends American television signals into Cuba for the U.S. Information Agency. The air drug interdiction program consists of land-based aerostat radar detection balloons along the U.S. southern border and in the Caribbean. The purpose is to seal off the border to illegal drugs coming in by aircraft. Thanks to Jim Nelson

Massachusetts Lights

East Longmeadow — I was on my way to work on the night of August 27, 2014, around 10:15 Pm, at Hampden Road when I saw through the trees a red light.  I often see airplanes that fly into Bradley Airport.  I told my friend on the phone that I saw a red light in the sky. I drove down that road to a clearing to look at the red light and noticed another red light through the trees.

I saw two solid red lights just hovering there in the southeast sky. I tried to get a photo, but it was not clear at all. But when I was stopped I had a great view of a light maybe baseball size red lights. The picture has been enhanced to bring out the lights.

Nebraska Lights

On February 18, 2015, two lights were observed in the sky just north of my town on a gravel road. I was taking sunset pictures. As I looked to the east the lights appeared and I was unsure what to make of them as they were too close together to be planes.

After a few minutes the bottom one vanished. Then about minute and half later the top light abruptly turned right and was gone.
I was shocked, baffled, and confused, as to what I was seeing.

Elko — I am still witnessing this light hovering west of me on February 22, 2015. It emitted a red pulsating light that is still hovering around near the object. I am unsure of what to make of this. It does have a light that is hovering just below it as well. I have video and I am still watching this. It really has not moved since I saw it. The images so far are kind of blurry, but the video is good.

New Jersey Orb

Harvey Cedars — We live on an outlet to Barnegat Bay about two blocks from the ocean and about a mile from a Coast Guard station with black helicopters. Three times this past month between 1 and 2 am, a brilliant white orb was seen over the lagoon behind our home. We observed this from our third floor bedroom. The light was so brilliant, turning more blue, and then thinned into a blue line, which may have been the edge of a craft. We looked thru the patio doors and what seemed to be a transparent craft simply vanished. This has happened a few times in recent weeks. Previously we saw a large, dark wedge shaped craft with 5 round white brilliant lights hovering silently about 20 feet over the ocean’s edge. It remained in place for 20 minutes. Since then, the orbs/lights have been a repeated occurrence.

On one occasion, my husband observed three humanoid beings surrounded with brilliant blue light come into our room through closed doors about 2 Am. H was reading in bed, and I was asleep, and they began to come towards my side of the bed.  My husband “heard” one of them say “He is a friend of ____ (hard to understand) we must leave”. Then they simply went back through the doors. He got up and followed them, but they had vanished. I woke up as they left and we were pretty shook up. The beings have not returned, but the orbs/lights turning into craft have been seen by us a few times since that “visit”. Thanks to MUFON CMS

MONROE — I witnessed a large black triangle flying object with very bright flashing alternate color lights on January 7, 2015, (that matched the description of a flying object over Baskng Ridge, NJ). I heard a very strong rumbling hum as it flew slowly right over my head with extremely bright colored flashing red, blue, white and green lights. I could feel the vibration of the rumbling hum as my dog looked up and cowered a little. It spanned 50 feet and more and was only 75 feet above the tree tops in as turned south. It took several minutes before it was out of sight. I never felt threatened by it, just curious about how something could fly so slow and low without falling.  NOTE: The above image is a rendering. New York Purple Light

Niagara Falls — I was in looking at the falls and the lighted buildings on Canada side. I first noticed it as a dull light in the sky on August 11, 2014. I assumed it was a building reflecting light. It was a purple light with a purple haze around it and a light being projected from the top.

My reaction was confusion because it was no longer there. I lost sight when I looked at my friends to point it out to them and when I looked back it was gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Oregon Lights

Portland — We were driving from Portland to my son’s house and saw several arching light in the shape of a disc on February 17, 2015

We stopped to take pictures of the unmoving craft as it sat there as we watched it hovering. Amazed at the size of the ship we had to stop and take a better look. It didn’t move an inch even after we left back to on the road to Lewiston. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Brookings – I was taking pictures of the moon on February 20, 2015, and found a strange disc in the picture with red and green lights below and to the right of the object.

It only showed in one picture only. It may be nothing but I thought I should report it in case. Thank you for your time, Red object not picked up in the image. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Texas Lights

Georgetown – On February 18, 2015, about 11:30 pm, I was doing some stargazing in my backyard when I noticed an abnormally bright object which I thought to be a planet. I looked with binoculars and noticed that it was emitting lights. I proceeded to take some photos with my camera and tripod. Now, I know that streaking of lights can happen when you move during a long exposure, but this is sort of odd. I’ve simply never seen anything in the sky that gave off so many colors of lights.

Ten minutes later I got friends to look but had barely moved. So, after a teeny bit of research, I found out that satellites don’t usually have lights plus there weren’t any satellites in the area at the time. So, it must have been an aircraft moving really slow and giving off rainbows of flashing lights. The streaking of lights does not seem to affect the stars. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Arab Emirates

Dubai — While on a business trip on January 18, 2015, in, after visiting the Burj Khalifa (world tallest building) my driver was driving on the highway. As we passed the world’s tallest building I decided to snap a few photos using my iPhone 6 plus. I took two photos at 9:43 PM, while driving and noticed nothing in the frame of either photo. The next day I saw the image in the frame that is still yet unexplained. The second image was taken within the same second and it shown no object in the frame.

The building has façade lighting that displays verbiage that begins at the bottom and ascends upward. Thanks to MUFON CMS

It’s a very clear photo of something I believe to be extra terrestrial. As I was driving home I saw a hovering craft right above us.

Canada Lights

St. Catharines — I was just walking by the patio door when I noticed an extremely bright light next to the moon with a small red one above it to the right a little.

I observed this object for an hour and a half and have seen it before and even have witnessed the little red one moving farther away and back again from the stationary object. (Image was unable to pick up the red object.)

Jackhead – No, there was no “UFO Crash” at Jackhead on February 18, 2015.
Chuck Reever MUFON’s Director of International Investigations received a report from Chris Rutkowski in Winnipeg. He actually spoke to some people on the Indian reserve, who said the claims about a crashed disk, military evacuation, downed phone lines, etc, are false. Chris’s blog has some good info: http://uforum.blogspot.ca/ The Canadian Armed Forces are doing Search and Rescue training on the west shore of Lake Winnipeg is exactly where these exercises are held.

Guatemala Object

 Lake Atitlan – I noticed the object when I started editing my pics from my trip on December 24, 2014.  The object doesn’t appear in the previous frame taken 6 seconds earlier or the next frame after.  I didn’t know about its existence until just a few days ago when I started editing my pics from the trip. It does appear to be a silver shape when I zoom in.  Thanks to MUFON CMS

India

Was Taking a picture of the sunset, but nothing was visible in the horizon while taking the picture February 24, 2015. But the image showed something else. To reassure myself I took two more pictures but the object not was visible in these. CMS

Indonesia Light

Bali — Bright orange light, twice the size of the North Star, going slowly north, then vanishes on February 1, 2015, at 10:26 PM. It reappears several seconds later to the east, moves quickly upwards, downwards, left, then right and disappears again as it slowly moved upwards. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.UFOCenter.com

Italy Pillar

Mercogliano — As I was looking through live cams I came across this one in Italy on February 23, 2015. A pillar-like UFO has been hovering there nightly. I have been watching this UFO for several years and believe it to be parked and cloaked. The cloak is visible due to the infrared lights connected to the live cam. To the human eye, this UFO is invisible. I have seen it with a fine metal skin before on this cam.

Mexico Cigar

Volcano Popocatepetl — I found this UFO in the live cam archives on February 15, 2015 this morning at 9:04:03. It was only a few hours old and shows a dark cigar UFO over the volcano near the clouds. This object matches past UFOs seen over the mouth that were also cigar shaped.

I have been keeping an eye on this live cam for over 5 years now and I have reported over 50 UFOs over it since then. If you want to catch a UFO, use today’s tech (live cams) to find them. Live cams allow you to be everywhere at once.

Nicaragua Blues

Managua — My fiancé’ and her daughter has sent me photos of lights in the sky that appear as random orbs.  Some remained in a triangular pattern on February 20, 2015.  I have more photos and this is an ongoing event that is unexplainable to her and becoming frightening. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Spain Rectangle

Las Rozas — On February 21, 2015, we saw a rectangle with a red light in the center with orange flashes around it from 21:09 to 21:14. The view was from Las Rozas to Sierra de Guadarrama. The changing rectangle seemed to move at a low height to his right accompanied by a yellow sphere. It disappeared at times, and returned with the same intensity with a vertical movement and slowly flew out of sight. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Switzerland Moving Light

 Arosa – I am using my night vision regularly during the night on January 5, 2015, to watch the sky. I just let the video recorder run and check in the morning the footage. Usually I see a lot of airplanes but sometimes also round flying lights.

They have various speeds and on this video you can see two blinking lights. This short video is the result of 15 hours video recording during 5 and 7 January 2015. Unfortunately my night vision can only cover a small part of the sky and it would be helpful to watch and record the night sky in a more structured manner, because these walking and blinking lights can be observed during every night. Thailand Lights

Nakhon Si Thammarat Province – Lee writes, I am on the Pacific side in a remote village with no traffic lights, and most folks are lights out at sunset so light pollution here is non-existent.

We see two general types of sightings over the Pacific on numerous occasions of a small light circling another larger light and both would travel a short distance then simply disappear. Later, either those lights or maybe a different pair would reappear in a different location.

The next one we seen and have only seen twice, is two lights that  chase each other, one light will move just a short distance and another light will chase it nearly looking like they are one, then the second one will dart away and the other light chases that one. They are quite quick at this as well. I am a Retired Navy Chief with 21 years of service and have been living in Thailand for the last 9 years. My Thai wife is a former school teacher and counselor with a Bachelors degree in psychology. Our niece is 20 years old, and we do a lot of bird watching. Thanks to Lee

Uruguay Disc

 Montevideo – At 3:30 am on January 27, 2013, and while I was in the celebration of a birthday of a friend in the Parador Figari of Playa Honda of Malvin. This sighting was what happened at Osni and was perfectly visible by all those who we were nearby. The object in question came out of the sea up to disappear completely when leaving the terrestrial atmosphere.

The event that I that also observed while he was walking along the Rambla of Malvin, There was a very clear visibility of the sighting and we expect to have more testimonies of what happened.

Monthly Statistical MUFON Report - for February 2015

CMS continues to amass sighting reports from around the globe. In February 2015
there were 607 sightings reported to MUFON through CMS from the following countries;

If you are getting more sighting reports than listed here, please be sure to enter them manually into CMS. To make this happen automatically, make sure your local MUFON Website is pointing to the CMS Reporting form on www.mufon.com and direct all calls you get to the MUFON website so that witnesses can enter their own report directly into CMS.

ALL sighting reports received by CMS are already filled in by the witness, saving you and your investigators time. Each report is automatically sent to YOU, the State Director and Assistant State Director, for you to assign someone to follow-up and complete the report.

If a UFO sighting comes in over the phone, or by e-mail, and you want to enter it yourself, simply go to CMS at http://mufoncms.com (once logged in) and click on "ADD CASE" in the upper right hand corner of the screen. This gives you a blank sighting reporting form that you can fill out while the witness is on the phone.
Once the report is filled out be sure to click "SAVE" and you will have easily added your NEW report to CMS.

Ex-CIA Official Says Stories of Crashed UFOs and Little Gray Men “on Ice” Discussed at a High-Level

First, this article has absolutely nothing to do with the bogus claims currently being made by the promoters of the so-called Roswell Slides, which allegedly show the body of a dead alien. (I predict that this latest,
regrettable chapter in ufological history will implode in the near future.)

No, my title refers to a far more credible revelation.
Although Victor Marchetti, the former Special Assistant to CIA Director Richard Helms, first published intriguing information relating to high-level discussion of recovered UFOs and dead aliens in 1979, in an article published in Second Look magazine, most people are completely unaware of it.

Indeed, an online search for the piece, titled “How the CIA Views the UFO Phenomenon”, yields very few results. While the Internet provides access to vast numbers of UFO-related documents, books, articles and blogs, one of the most important pieces ever written on the topic, authored by a knowledgeable government insider, has been almost completely overlooked.

Interestingly, when I attempted to post Marchetti’s informed disclosures at a popular blog operated by journalist Billy Cox, my comments and link to the article disappeared into the cybervoid. Repeated attempts met the same fate and, when I subsequently asked Cox to post them for me, he encountered the same problem.


Cox later told me, “I managed to get your post on my blog just now, but it took some doing. When I tried to do it normally, by putting your name and email address in the cue fields, it simply wouldn’t post; I kept getting a message saying it had already been posted, which obviously it had not. And of course when I try to reply to your messages lately, it bounces back as undeliverable. I wound up having to publish it under my name, then going in behind the post and replacing my name/address with yours. Very strange, Robert.”

I told Cox one might argue that efforts had been undertaken, by an unknown party, to block Marchetti’s revelations from being made more accessible online. Lest this charge seem too paranoid, I added that I had often had to endure such anomalies when attempting to communicate with my ex-military sources regarding their involvement in UFO incidents at nuclear weapons sites.


Furthermore, my attempts over the years to post those individuals’ disclosures at various blogs had frequently encountered the same sort of disconnects. Nevertheless, some of those dramatic revelations—involving UFOs shutting down American nuclear missiles—were livestreamed by CNN during my 2010 press conference in Washington D.C.:

In any case, Marchetti’s lengthy article contains important information about the CIA’s secret involvement, as well as its self-proclaimed non-involvement, with the UFO phenomenon. He writes, “I do know that the CIA and U.S. Government have been concerned over the UFO phenomenon for many years and that their attempts, both past and recent, to discount the significance of the phenomenon and to explain away the apparent lack of official interest in it have all the earmarkings of a classic
intelligence cover-up.”

To give you a sense of the author’s importance, the agency nce
took Marchetti all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court, to attempt to stop the publication of his tome, The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence, which subsequently became a best-seller in 1974. The disenchanted agency man had resigned from the CIA in 1969; his book was an unprecedented, historic exposé of
his former employer’s numerous illegal activities—including spying on Americans, something forbidden by its charter—many of which were later investigated by Congress.

In short, Marchetti was especially dangerous to CIA simply because he knew so much about its operations, legal or not, and was willing to divulge them to the world as a hoped-for partial antidote.

While this same informed-observer status and careful, thoughtful analysis underpins Marchetti’s revelations about the agency’s relationship to UFOs, it must be remembered that CIA’s approach to all subjects is the use of compartmentalization, whereby any given individual’s knowledge is usually limited to one small part of a project or operation, to keep an overall understanding of the situation restricted to a very few high-level managers. The same was/is true with UFOs and, therefore, Marchetti can only report on what he personally knew, given that he was not involved with the agency’s apparent UFO pojects/operations and had no need-to-know about them.

Nevertheless, his published comments are noteworthy. He writes:

• During my years in the CIA, UFOs were not a subject of common discussion. But neither were they treated in a disdainful or derisive manner, especially not by the agency’s scientists. Instead, the topic was rarely discussed at internal meetings. It seemed to fall into the category of ‘very sensitive activities’...People simply did not talk about the UFO phenomenon.
  
  There were, however, rumors at high levels of the CIA—rumors of...little gray men whose ships had crashed, or had been shot down, being kept ‘on ice’ by the Air Force at FTD (the Foreign Technology
  Division) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.¹

Please note that Marchetti used the word “rumors”. Again, this is the result of his own non-involvement in whatever “very sensitive activities” CIA had going on relating to the UFO phenomenon.
Consequently, whatever information Marchetti was privy to resulted from informal and undoubtedly unauthorized chitchat he had encountered in the corridors of CIA headquarters.

But if stories of crashed UFOs and the bodies of the crews being kept in cold storage were being discussed at “high levels” within the agency, one can infer that those rumors were taken seriously. One might also speculate that information about all of this had been secured by CIA agents, probably by spying on the U.S. Air Force.

One important aspect of Marchetti’s revelation is the timing of the discussion at CIA. Marchetti resigned in 1969, nearly a decade prior to the seminal disclosures by retired U.S. Army counterintelligence officer Jesse Marcel who, during a television interview in 1978, divulged that he had held in his
hands wreckage from a craft “not of this Earth” that had crashed northwest of
Roswell Army Air Field in July 1947.

Confirmation of this event originates with another credible person, USAF Brigadier General Arthur E. Exon, who has stated for the record that one or more plane-loads of that wreckage did ideed arrive at Wright Field (later renamed Wright-Patterson Air Force Base) srtly thereafter and was subjected to intense analysis by aeronautical engineers. During an audiotaped interview with Roswell researcher Dr. Kevin D. Randle, in 1990, Exon said:

• ...They knew they had something new in their hands. The metal and material was unknown to [everyone] I talked to. Whatever they found, I never heard what the [analytical] results were. A couple of guys thought it might be Russian, but the overall consensus was that the pieces were from space. Everyone from the White House on down knew that what we had found was not of this world within 24 hours of our finding it…Roswell was the recovery of a craft from space.²

A number of UFO debunkers have claimed that the Roswell UFO crash story is a “modern myth” that originated as a result of public fascination with the writings of Stanton Friedman, Bill Moore, and others in the 1979-80 time-frame, which incorporated Marcel’s candid remarks about his involvement in the discovery of the mysterious wreckage in 1947.

However, in light of Marchetti’s revelations, this simply cannot be true. Given his resignation from CIA in 1969, he had to have heard those high level “rumors” about crashed UFOs and dead aliens stored at Wright-Patterson prior to that time.

In his article, Marchetti theorizes that the primary reason underlying the U.S. government’s refusal to acknowledge the reality of UFOs, if indeed the craft are piloted by alien beings, results from its fear that existing power structures would be fundamentally undermined by such an admission. He writes:

• ...the U.S. Government, in collusion with other national powers of the Earth, is determined to keep this information from the general public.
  The purpose of the international conspiracy is to maintain a workable stability among the nations of the world and for them, in turn, to retain institutional control over their respective populations. Thus, for these governments to admit there are beings from outer space attempting to contact us, beings with mentalities and technological capabilities obviously far superior to ours, could, once fully perceived by the average person, erode the foundations of the Earth's traditional power structure. Political and legal systems, religions, economic and social institutions could all soon become meaningless in the mind of the public. The national oligarchical establishments, even civilization as we know it, could collapse into anarchy. Such extreme conclusions are not
  necessarily valid, but they probably accurately reflect the fears of the "ruling class" of the major nations, whose leaders (particularly those in the intelligence business) have always advocated excessive governmental secrecy as being necessary to preserve "national security." The real reason for such secrecy is, of course, to keep the public uninformed, misinformed, and, therefore, malleable.³

Given that so much information, misinformation, disinformation, speculation, and general bullshit about UFOs is available on the Internet, one must of necessity carefully choose which material to ingest. Marchetti’s unique, informed, credible perspective should be added to the short list of must-reads.

UFO mania: UFO Appears on News Program in Argentina

The researcher and collaborator Emanuel Mexican Huza reported an impressive sighting. March 1, 2015, during the transmission TN them 24 hours a UFO-shaped disc that grows out of great presenters were present for the live TV "TN Urgent".
