Watch: 5 possible UFO sightings in Chattanooga

In late January, a collection of previously classified documents on UFO sightings from 1952 to 1970 were made easily searchable by a website called The Black Vault.

And while the Project Blue Book files are available through a Freedom of Information Act request, the searchable database has since been removed from The Black Vault website because of a copyright claim by Ancestry.com. Click here to read more.

While it was online, I spent several hours searching through the archives while listening to the soundtrack from "The X-Files." Only a few of the Chattanooga reports were of any interest historically. However, some of the reports were jarring not because of the incidents but the responses to those incidents from government officials.

One in particular dismissed an elderly woman's 1959 claim that her observation from Missionary Ridge was nothing more than a routine weather balloon. 

Fortunately, The Black Vault still maintains a searchable archive of more recent documents and UFO cases for our research.

In order to find the good stuff, you have to search YouTube. The following accounts are videos of supposed UFO activity in the Chattanooga region. You may draw your own conclusions, but I encourage you to keep an open mind as you watch the videos. 

Have you ever seen a UFO? Do you believe that aliens are visiting us? Or that the government agencies are keeping secrets? Are you scared? Are you willing to be probed?

The Hixson triangle
At approximately 10:55 p.m. EST Feb. 27, 2014, a man was observing the sky in Hixson when he noticed something strange. According to a testimony, the man saw "an unlighted, triangular-shaped object glide across the night sky." He mentioned no sound and said the object remained for 12 seconds before disappearing. As a longtime observer of the sky, the man had never seen anything like it before or since. He promises it was not a plane or bird. No further information is available. There is no video of the account, but you can imagine this was similar to the 2009 Phoenix lights.

The amber UFO
This is video from a man observing what he calls an "amber, reddish UFO" over his apartment complex in Chattanooga. The light appears to hover and flash above the tree line for over 60 seconds. Click here to watch the video. The date of the video is Feb. 4, 2012, but the man says the date is Feb. 5 within the video. More interesting, perhaps, are the comments from other people who claim to have seen a similar light. It should be noted that this user also posted a video called "More UFOs over Chattanooga" in which he is seen releasing weather balloons and observing them as if they were UFOs.

Chinese drone or UFO?
This incident is particularly difficult to understand, not because of the quality of the video but because of the irritating voices of the narrators and the fact the video was recorded vertically. A light, similar to the one in the videos above, appears over a row of houses. The gentlemen (and I shudder to use that word) speak to the UFO as if it can hear them. "Hey, UFO!" one of them says. "Goodbye, UFO," they say as it disappears into the horizon. Also curious was the comment from a third party on the scene that the UFO was, in fact, a "Chinese drone." Click here to view the video.

The Walmart sighting
A woman claims to have been on her way to Walmart on Jan. 16, 2015, when she observed and documented a ball of light in the night sky. For nearly five minutes, the ball of light is visible in the video. It seems to change from a bright, glowing green to a dark red color. The woman recording the video does not make a sound, perhaps because she is terrified a flash of light may bring her onto the vessel. Click here to view the video.

Ringgold tornado UFO
In this very dramatic video, a tour of tornado damage in the Ringgold area causes even more concern. At the one-minute mark of the video, the footage slows down and begins panning slowly across the field of view. A small, bug-sized black splotch appears. The video seems to zero in on the grainy object. Is this evidence that UFOs were present following the devastation of the 2011 tornadoes? Or, to go further, might this video be evidence of the presence of sky people?

How Can Space Travel Faster Than The Speed Of Light?

Light speed is often spoken of as a cosmic speed limit… but not everything plays by these rules. In fact, space itself can expand faster than a photon could ever hope to travel.

Cosmologists are intellectual time travelers. Looking back over billions of years, these scientists are able to trace the evolution of our Universe in astonishing detail. 13.8 billion years ago, the Big Bang occurred. Fractions of a second later, the fledgling Universe expanded exponentially during an incredibly brief period of time called inflation. Over the ensuing eons, our cosmos has grown to such an enormous size that we can no longer see the other side of it.

But how can this be? If light’s velocity marks a cosmic speed limit, how can there possibly be regions of spacetime whose photons are forever out of our reach? And even if there are, how do we know that they exist at all?

The Expanding Universe

Like everything else in physics, our Universe strives to exist in the lowest possible energy state possible. But around 10^-36 seconds after the Big Bang, inflationary cosmologists believe that the cosmos found itself resting instead at a “false vacuum energy” – a low-point that wasn’t really a low-point. Seeking the true nadir of vacuum energy, over a minute fraction of a moment, the Universe is thought to have ballooned by a factor of 10⁵⁰.

Since that time, our Universe has continued to expand, but at a much slower pace. We see evidence of this expansion in the light from distant objects. As photons emitted by a star or galaxy propagate across the Universe, the stretching of space causes them to lose energy. Once the photons reach us, their wavelengths have been redshifted in accordance with the distance they have traveled.

This is why cosmologists speak of redshift as a function of distance in both space and time. The light from these distant objects has been traveling for so long that, when we finally see it, we are seeing the objects as they were billions of years ago.

The Hubble Volume

Redshifted light allows us to see objects like galaxies as they existed in the distant past; but we cannot see all events that occurred in our Universe during its history. Because our cosmos is expanding, the light from some objects is simply too far away for us ever to see.

The physics of that boundary rely, in part, on a chunk of surrounding spacetime called the Hubble volume. Here on Earth, we define the Hubble volume by measuring something called the Hubble parameter (H₀), a value that relates the apparent recession speed of distant objects to their redshift. It was first calculated in 1929, when Edwin Hubble discovered that faraway galaxies appeared to be moving away from us at a rate that was proportional to the redshift of their light.

Dividing the speed of light by H₀, we get the Hubble volume. This spherical bubble encloses a region where all objects move away from a central observer at speeds less than the speed of light. Correspondingly, all objects outside of the Hubble volume move away from the center faster than the speed of light.

Yes, “faster than the speed of light.” How is this possible?

The Magic of Relativity

The answer has to do with the difference between special relativity and general relativity. Special relativity requires what is called an “inertial reference frame” – more simply, a backdrop. According to this theory, the speed of light is the same when compared in all inertial reference frames. Whether an observer is sitting still on a park bench on planet Earth or zooming past Neptune in a futuristic high-velocity rocketship, the speed of light is always the same. A photon always travels away from the observer at 300,000,000 meters per second, and he or she will never catch up.

General relativity, however, describes the fabric of spacetime itself. In this theory, there is no inertial reference frame. Spacetime is not expanding with respect to anything outside of itself, so the the speed of light as a limit on its velocity doesn’t apply. Yes, galaxies outside of our Hubble sphere are receding from us faster than the speed of light. But the galaxies themselves aren’t breaking any cosmic speed limits. To an observer within one of those galaxies, nothing violates special relativity at all. It is the space in between us and those galaxies that is rapidly proliferating and stretching exponentially.

The Observable Universe

Now for the next bombshell: The Hubble volume is not the same thing as the observable Universe.

To understand this, consider that as the Universe gets older, distant light has more time to reach our detectors here on Earth. We can see objects that have accelerated beyond our current Hubble volume because the light we see today was emitted when they were within it.

Strictly speaking, our observable Universe coincides with something called the particle horizon. The particle horizon marks the distance to the farthest light that we can possibly see at this moment in time – photons that have had enough time to either remain within, or catch up to, our gently expanding Hubble sphere.

And just what is this distance? A little more than 46 billion light years in every direction – giving our observable Universe a diameter of approximately 93 billion light years, or more than 500 billion trillion miles.

The observable universe, more technically known as the particle horizon.

(A quick note: the particle horizon is not the same thing as the cosmological event horizon. The particle horizon encompasses all the events in the past that we can currently see. The cosmological event horizon, on the other hand, defines a distance within which a future observer will be able to see the then-ancient light our little corner of spacetime is emitting today.

In other words, the particle horizon deals with the distance to past objects whose ancient light that we can see today; the cosmological event horizon deals with the distance that our present-day light that will be able to travel as faraway regions of the Universe accelerate away from us.)

Dark Energy

Thanks to the expansion of the Universe, there are regions of the cosmos that we will never see, even if we could wait an infinite amount of time for their light to reach us. But what about those areas just beyond the reaches of our present-day Hubble volume? If that sphere is also expanding, will we ever be able to see those boundary objects?

This depends on which region is expanding faster – the Hubble volume or the parts of the Universe just outside of it. And the answer to that question depends on two things: 1) whether H₀ is increasing or decreasing, and 2) whether the Universe is accelerating or decelerating. These two rates are intimately related, but they are not the same.

In fact, cosmologists believe that we are actually living at a time when H₀ is decreasing; but because of dark energy, the velocity of the Universe’s expansion is increasing.

That may sound counterintuitive, but as long as H₀ decreases at a slower rate than that at which the Universe’s expansion velocity is increasing, the overall movement of galaxies away from us still occurs at an accelerated pace. And at this moment in time, cosmologists believe that the Universe’s expansion will outpace the more modest growth of the Hubble volume.

So even though our Hubble volume is expanding, the influence of dark energy appears to provide a hard limit to the ever-increasing observable Universe.

Our Earthly Limitations

Cosmologists seem to have a good handle on deep questions like what our observable Universe will someday look like and how the expansion of the cosmos will change. But ultimately, scientists can only theorize the answers to questions about the future based on their present-day understanding of the Universe. Cosmological timescales are so unimaginably long that it is impossible to say much of anything concrete about how the Universe will behave in the future. Today’s models fit the current data remarkably well, but the truth is that none of us will live long enough to see whether the predictions truly match all of the outcomes.

Disappointing? Sure. But totally worth the effort to help our puny brains consider such mind-bloggling science – a reality that, as usual, is just plain stranger than fiction.

Easter Island collapse theory challenged

A new study has called in to question conventional theories about the disappearance of the islanders.

A small land mass of only 60 square miles, Easter Island has remained something of an enigma for years. Its army of strange stone heads and the unexplained disappearance of its inhabitants are mysteries that continue to draw both intrigue and puzzlement.

For a long time it was thought that the people of Easter Island had been in steady decline long before Europeans arrived there in 1722 and that their overuse of the island's natural resources had been the biggest contributing factor in their eventual demise.

Now however researchers have published a new paper providing evidence that the depletion of resources was unlikely to have been the cause of the islanders' disappearance.

The study, which was led by Christopher M. Stevenson of Virginia Commonwealth University, suggests that while the inhabitants did see a slight reduction in numbers prior to European contact it was not likely to have been indicative of mass starvation and population collapse.

Instead it appears to have been contact with the Europeans, who brought diseases such as smallpox and syphilis, that was almost entirely responsible for their eventual disappearance.

UFO near Jackhead? It's actually a plane, says military

Posts like these were circulating on Twitter and Facebook on Wednesday night, with people suggesting there was a UFO crash near Jackhead, Man. It was actually an airplane being used in a military training exercise, according to the Canadian Forces. (Twitter)

Social media reports of a possible UFO sighting last night near Jackhead, Man., are not true, says the Canadian Forces, which attributed the bright light people saw to an airplane from a training exercise.

On Wednesday night, several people said on Twitter and Facebook that they saw a bright light in the sky, fuelling speculation that it may have been an unidentified flying object.

The rumour became stronger when photos were posted of Canadian Forces vehicles in the area, with some people claiming the military was there to contain a UFO crash site.

But it was not a UFO at all, says Lt.-Col. Paul Davies, commanding officer 38 Territorial Battalion Group, which is involved in an Arctic Response Company Group training exercise on Lake Winnipeg this week.

"There's no aliens, just my friends in the air force who are out there helping us on this exercise," Davies told CBC News on Thursday.

"I have the commander of that air force contingent sitting right beside me and, you know, he assures us that that was not a UFO, but that was him."

About 150 military personnel are taking part in Exercise Arctic Bison 2015, which includes the 38 Canadian Brigade Group, the 2nd Battalion of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, the 4th Canadian Ranger Patrol Group, and 440 Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Davies said soldiers are training to deal with a plane crash and provide ground search and rescue support in the Arctic.

The bright light that people saw, he explained, came from an airplane that takes off very quickly.

"From a distance it may have looked like it was going straight up in the air, but it wasn't," he said. "It was just us out there playing our games."

The exercise wraps up on Sunday.

Mysterious Massive Clouds Erupted 260km Into Martian Atmosphere – And No One Knows Why   (Video)

(N.Morgan) As our environment has been experiencing some major and unexplained changes in the midst of those changes another event has occurred that has left the science world stumped, massive clouds erupted 260 Km into the Martian atmosphere. This is way beyond Mars’s normal weather, reaching into the exosphere where the atmosphere merges with interplanetary space.

None of the conventional explanations for such clouds make sense – neither water or carbon dioxide ice nor dust storms nor auroral light emissions usually hit such heights.

Space agencies have put a great deal of effort into learning all there is to know about Mars, yet it was amateur Red Planet enthusiasts that made a very puzzling discovery not long ago.  Among them is stargazer Damian Peach who, in 2012, spotted and photographed a mysterious plume hovering high above the Martian surface.  At first he thought it may be an equipment malfunction, but a perusal of the several images he’d taken showed that it was, in fact, a feature. 

Scientists have since confirmed the sightings, but haven’t been able to determine what the strange mass was. One of the possibilities considered is that it was a cloud of either water particles or carbon dioxide gas.The problem with that theory is that the cloud was located around 125 miles above the planet, something that based on the current understanding of Mars and its atmosphere just isn’t possible. 

Several other explanations, like auroras and debris from volcanic eruptions, have been posited and ruled out as well, as ultimately they just don’t pan out scientifically.  Further study and definitive answers may have to wait until the plume appears again.

Vreemde gebeurtenissen bij de zon (Video )

Een komeet waarvan iedereen dacht dat deze de passage van de zon nooit zou overleven, doet dit wel.

Verder laat een nieuwe video zien dat het aan de oppervlakte van de zon wemelt van de UFO’s en andere vreemde verschijnselen.


Astronomen krabben zich achter de oren want een kleine komeet die de zon van heel dichtbij passeerde, had in duizenden stukken uiteen moeten vallen.

Opvallend genoeg gebeurde dit niet en overleefde de kleine komeet met de naam SOHO-2875 de passage van de zon.

Het is ook een beetje een vreemde komeet want hij is niet gerelateerd aan een bekende groep zoals de Kreutz familie. De meeste die we zien behoren daartoe en zijn onderdeel van een gigantisch grote komeet die eeuwen geleden uitelkaar is gevallen. Ze hebben hun naam te danken aan de 19e eeuwse astronoom Heinrich Kreutz.

Nu is het niet helemaal ongebruikelijk dat er af en toe een soort "lone wolf" komeet opduikt die bij geen enkele familie hoort, zoals in dit geval, maar dat deze de passage van de zon op zo'n korte afstand overleeft, is wel heel bijzonder.

Na de passage van de zon heeft de komeet nu ook een heuse staart en zal misschien over een paar weken zichtbaar zijn vanaf de aarde.

Via een lezer (dank!) kregen wij de volgende video opgestuurd.

Het is een opname gemaakt met de zogenaamde Helioviewer. Dit is software waardoor wij in staat zijn de resultaten van de diverse NASA telescopen in de buurt van de zon te bekijken.

Wanneer je goed kijkt, zie je allerlei UFO’s heen en weer schieten aan de oppervlakte van de zon.

Na ongeveer tien seconden, schuift er bovendien iets merkwaardigs door het beeld. Wat dat is, is de puzzel van de week. Suggesties zijn welkom.

Popular UFO Sightings From Project Blue Book Files

Project Blue Book, investigation effort by the U.S. Air Force on UFO sightings spanning from 1952 to 1970, has been available for quite some time now. But the compilation of all cases into an easy-to-search database has just launched recently by The Black Vault. Here are some of the most interesting and famous cases from the files of Project Blue Book.

Mantell UFO Incident

On January 7, 1948, Kentucky police spotted a UFO and Captain Thomas F. Mantell, a pilot at Kentucky Air National Guard, chased it. Godman Army Airfield received a report from an officer about the UFO too. And officers in the control tower also noticed the same mysterious aerial object. Mantell chased the UFO up to 20,000 feet, but moments later he blacked out because of insufficient oxygen. Mantell lost control and crashed.

Lonnie Zamora Incident

Several people reported similar UFO sightings over Socorro, New Mexico on April 24, 1964, including State police officer Lonnie Zamora, who saw the unidentified flying object on the ground before it took off. He  now known Lonnie Zamora Incident received extensive media coverage, and Project Blue Book author described Zamora as sincere, honest, and reliable.

Betty and Barney Hill Abduction

Betty and Barney Hill both said they spotted a UFO following their vehicle as they were returning home in September 1961 and that aliens abducted them. Through a regression therapy session conducted in 1963, the abduction was revealed. Barney and Betty detailed their abduction and scientific experiments done to them by aliens under hypnosis.

Believers gather for 24th UFO Congress

Thousands of people gathered in Phoenix this week for the largest UFO conference in the United States.

First held in 1991, the International UFO Congress is an annual get-together for UFO enthusiasts, researchers, alien abductees and anyone else with an interest in the phenomenon.

Among the attractions at the event are presentations by guest speakers, discussion panels, a film festival and even a series of therapy sessions for those who believe that they have been abducted by extraterrestrials.

"Most often people just want to know what happened to them," said hypnotherapist Yvonne Smith who attended the event. "They ask if they are crazy or if it was all a dream."

Also at the conference was nuclear physicist and author Stanton Friedman who was promoting his latest book about the government's efforts to cover up evidence about UFOs.

"Secrets are kept by security clearance and need-to-know basis," he said.

Private investigator Darrel Sims, who claims to have had his own encounter with aliens, was also at the event showcasing unidentified items that had been removed from alleged abductees.

"I remember seeing a pure white body in my room," he recalled. "It was skinny and spindly."

Sims, who was also a speaker at the event, is now seeking conclusive DNA evidence to prove once and for all that our planet is being visited by beings from another world.

Three Forest Workers Witness Elk Alien Abduction

THREE FOREST WORKERS WITNESS ELK ALIEN ABDUCTION

FEBURARY 25, 1999   ………    FOREST OF WASHINGTON STATE

On Monday, March 01, 1999, the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) received a call over its telephone Hotline (206-722-3000) from an individual who identified himself as an employee in the forestry industry in Washington State.  The individual left a message, in which he reported that a team of forestry workers allegedly had been witness to an incident on Thursday, February 25, 1999, during which time an elk was lifted off the ground and carried away by a very peculiar, disc-shaped object.  Peter Davenport, Director of NUFORC, contacted several of the individuals whose names and telephone numbers had been provided by the first contact.  Based on those telephone conversations, he elected to initiate a preliminary investigation of the incident.  Because NUFORC traditionally does not serve as an investigative body, Mr. Davenport contacted Mr. Robert A. Fairfax, Director of Investigations for the Washington State Chapter of the Mutual UFO Network, which does conduct investigations of alleged UFO sightings.  Messrs. Davenport and Fairfax traveled to the location of the alleged incident, and jointly have been conducting an investigation of this elk abduction case since Friday, March 05.  Their investigation to date has included a trip to the site of the incident, an interview of three of the alleged fourteen witnesses to the actual abduction, and several conversations with individuals who work with the eyewitnesses.  In addition, the investigators inspected the carcass of an adult elk, a pregnant cow, which was found dead beside a logging road on March 01 by other forestry employees within a few miles of the principal event.  The investigation and collection of facts surrounding the case will continue.  This preliminary summary of their findings to date is submitted jointly by Messrs. Davenport and Fairfax.
Incident Summary:
On Thursday, February 25, 1999, at just a few minutes before noon, three forestry workers, who were planting seedling trees in the mountains of Washington State, witnessed a small, disc-shaped object slowly drift over a nearby ridge to their south, and descend into the valley to the north of their position. The object descended silently with what seemed to the witnesses a purposeful manner, exhibiting a slight “wobble” to its flight.  The three workers at first thought the object was some kind of parachute that was drifting and descending, but they quickly realized that their initial impression was not correct. Hence, they shouted to their eleven coworkers nearby, who were working on the north-facing hillside, and all fourteen members of the work crew watched the object for an estimated 3-5 minutes.  Within seconds of their first observation of the object, the witnesses became aware that the object was travelling generally in the direction of a herd of elk that they had been watching all morning.  They continued to watch as the object proceeded toward the herd until it succeeded in getting quite close to the animals. The animals apparently remained unaware of the object’s presence until it was within a very short distance of the herd.  Suddenly, the animals bolted, most of the them running up the slope to their east.  However, one adult animal was seen by the witnesses to separate itself from the herd and run or trot to generally to the north, perhaps along a logging road  The witnesses report that at this point, the object quickly moved directly above the lone elk and seemed to lift it off the ground, although no visible means of support of the animal was evident to the observers.

The witnesses added that shortly after lifting the elk off the ground, the object seemed to  begin to “wobble” to a more pronounced degree than it had exhibited earlier.  In addition, as the object appeared to increase its altitude, the elk, which was suspended upright below the disc, rotated slowly beneath it and appeared to be getting closer to the ventral surface of the disc.  They also commented that the object seemed to increase in size slightly after it had picked up the animal.  With the elk suspended below it, the object began to ascend slowly up a clear-cut slope to the east.  However, the witnesses watched it apparently brush the tops of nearby trees to the east, at which point it reversed its course and proceeded to the west.  It executed a 360-degree turn to the left and may have gained some slight altitude in the process, the witnesses thought.  After the object had completed its turn and was once again proceeding in a generally  easterly direction, it began ascending very quickly at what seemed to the witnesses to be a rather steep angle. 

It continued to ascend, and simply disappeared from sight of the witnesses.  The witnesses stated that once the object had started to ascend and had climbed to an altitude above their vantage point, they no longer could see the animal suspended below the craft.   Their presumption was that the animal had somehow been taken into the craft, although the witnesses could discern no “door,” or any kind of aperture through which the animal might have been conveyed into the craft. The witnesses also stated that following the incident, the herd of elk remained in the same general area, although remained more closely huddled to one another than had been the case earlier in the morning.  The workers added that they, too, had remained closer to one another until their departure from the area at the end of the work day.

Major! UFO Crash Lands in Canada and Is Being Covered Up by Government! Is it Alien or Is it Military? You Decide…

In the city of Manitboa, Canada on the Jackhead Reservation reports have been surfacing of a UFO crash landing into Lake Winnipeg. Recently a call came into Thrid Phase of the Moon reporting this. The man went by the name of Mark. Here is part of the dialogue: 

“Apparently a disc shaped craft was seen crashing through the ice on the lake, at least one person got photographic evidence but has since been detained by the Canadian military. UFO crash in rural Manitoba Canada: A UFO crash landed into a frozen lake within the last 24 hours on a Indian reservation in rural Manitoba. I have contact with a former resident of the reservation and their family still lives on the reservation and informed them about the situation this evening.

I have also been informed that nobody is allowed to leave or enter the reservation at this time and that the military has been going door to door talking with residents. They are telling the residents that they are conducting emergency training exercises, but there has been an extreme cold front in Manitoba over the last 2 days and it is extremely dangerous to spend time outdoors for any period.

The military has moved in all their equipment effectively blocking any view of what may have crashed into the water or what they are doing there, but I’m sure they are recovering the evidence.

I will get back in touch with in a few hours, I was told the name of the reservation but it was very long and hard to pronounce, I will get the exact spelling of the reservation in a few hours when I meet with my contact and I will forward any new information over.” Mark 

Here is the full video dialogue between Third Phase and Mark (the aircraft in the video is not the aircraft they are talking about, it’s just pictured during conversation) 

But that’s not all! Reports were also coming in on Facebook, a man by the name of Brent Mancheese linked CNN stating: 

“UFO crash reported on the Jackhead reserve in Manitoba, Canada apparently the Canadian Military have vehicles lined up on north Shore. ..they are threatening anybody who tries to take pics….lots of eye witnesses…Thur is round object being hauled across the lake being pulled by snow mobiles and bombardier.”

Furthermore many on Twitter and Facebook were posting pictures like these: 

Despite the outcry from citizens in the area about the crashed UFO and reports of military forces using snowmobiles to drag away a large disc, the Canadian Forces are claiming this is all just one big military training exercise training search and rescue how to deal with a plan crash in the Arctic. 

According to Lt.-Col. Paul Davies, commanding officer of 38 Territorial Battalion Group in Canada, which is involved in an Arctic Response Company Group training exercise on Lake Winnipeg, reported this to CBC News: 

“There’s no aliens, just my friends in the air force who are out there helping us on this exercise…I have the commander of that air force contingent sitting right beside me and, you know, he assures us that that was not a UFO, but that was him.”

The trouble with this statement is the Canadian Forces are refusing to show the supposed “Military craft” to the public. If this is a training exercise why not display the craft to stop the talk about it being a UFO? 

Third Phase of the Moon is also reporting that they have an image of this craft sent in by viewers however, no photographs have surfaced as of yet. Here is that breaking report:

That said, I guess the ultimate decision is up to you. Do you believe this is another UFO coverup like what happened in Roswell, New Mexico? Or is this just some military training exercise?

Mysterious Sphere Caught Over South Carolina  (Video)

(N.Morgan) A mysterious sphere like object has been seen flying in the skies over South Carolina, Greene County. Is this object a UFO or something more mundane? The anomaly which was snapped by local resident Stephanie Davenport appears to show a huge circular object with six possible lights attached to its body. 

Paranormal Crucible again presents us with a capture beyond explanation.

“I originally thought it was the moon, but when I zoomed in on my pictured it clearly wasn’t. It is round and looked to have lights on it.”

Davenport said she consulted someone who might have the answer: a family member who works for NASA.

According to Davenport, this was what he wrote back, “I think those dots are just pixels in your camera CCD that are over exposed. They are too orderly to be sun spots. Nothing to get excited about.”

Still, she’s not quite ready to accept that explanation.
