The Ufo Phenomenon In Salta, Argentina – A Substantiated Story
We are providing you with some of the most notable historical information on the UFO phenomenon in Salta which has been manifesting itself in our region for decades, startling our inhabitants.
Northern Argentina has a long history of enigmas, a mysterious angle that constitutes an important part of local culture. In recent years, one mystery has repeated increasingly in the skies of Salta – UFO sightings. Reports repeat themselves, some surprising, other questionable, some of them including the so-called “encounters of the third kind”. In cities or lonely places, jungles, rivers and dams, the UFO phenomenon has become gradually more frequent. Moreover, the massification of technologies able to record events of this sort give us the possibility of gaining access to a variety of accounts.
But these events have taken place in Salta for a long time.
Cono de Arita is an atypical formation, considered natural by many, while being unique in the world. In April 1956, a “flying cigar” flew over the mysterious cone four times in the same day. Photographs were taken, giving rise to “ufology” – the study of the phenomenon – in Argentina. Around that time, a violent explosion shook the slopes of Nevado de Macón in Tolar Grande, a peak near the Cono. In 1957, an expedition lead by physician José Cerato ascended the Macón and found – according to Cerato's statement to the press – “a series of ground traces similar to those that could be left behind by very heavy machinery, with a flat base, that had landed at the site.”
On September 25, 1956, Argentinean news agencies reported a UFO sighting in Pajas Blancas, Salta. Several witnesses saw a strange egg-shaped aircraft landing. In spite of its large size, it rose lightly into the air in a spiral motion. On June 27, 1962, residents of Salta saw an enormous “shining plate” that hung over the capital city of several minutes, dropping a substance which a witness described to El Tribuno as a “fine ashen powder.”
On July 12, 1968, Elisa Medina of Salta, heard a noise coming from the sky. She then saw a powerful beam of light illuminating the surroundings. She began to scream, but felt paralyzed by an unknown force that left her “glued to the ground”.
In May 1978, A UFO crashed near the Baritú National Park. The Gendarmerie found strange metallic remnants near Santa Victoria Oeste. On May 6, 178, a cylindrical object with a flaming wake was seen by thousands of people before crashing into the mountain of El Taire in Bolivia. It left a 300 meter deep mark on the ground, 500 meters wide and 1.5 kilometers long.

“Clearly there is a cover-up of the UFO phenomena,” says Salas, “and clearly the forces in favor of disclosure are at a disadvantage in winning this game. The prize is the entire pie. We want total disclosure and the other side wants to keep completely hidden.” (Page 97.)
Salas points at noted individuals in the cabal such as the late engineer Wilber Smith, the late Dr. Vannevar Bush, the late Admiral Roscoe Hillenkoetter, and Salas presently includes a CORE group with “the highest security rating and priority.” That team is also called the “Secret Group” by researcher Raymond Fowler. Salas charts what he believes to be the general flow and organization of the CORE group. Salas outlines what CORE may have learned about UFO activity: invisibility and the control of natural energy sources are two characteristics.
The nature of the “enemy” is highlighted by one specific incident:
A principal Civil Aviation Administration air traffic controller, Harry Barnes, distinctly felt that the 1952 UFOs over Washington, D.C could read his thoughts as they darted about over the Capitol. A pilot reported that he “heard his first name called out by a strange voice transmission. Military radio transmissions between aircraft do not use first names of pilots!”

Salas portrays several favorite, little-known and unusual sightings that he feels support the reality of the phenomena. Some are large triangular UFOs, others, flew over nuclear missile bases.
A typical case was that of Josie Zwinanberg who spotted a UFO near the Soesterbuerg, Netherland’s 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron on February 2 and 3, 1979. The object had a number of brilliant but mystically blue lights that shone from it as the object buzzed the air field. On the 3rd, the object emitted a beam of light to the ground. It was seen by many airmen at the base.
Thirty-one years later in the summer of 2011 while Zwinenberg vacationed in Ireland, she was approached by a “Tom” – a total stranger – who related details of her sightings, even tiny items and intimate information (such as the rustling of leaves) that only Zwinenberg knew.
Part of Salas’ chronology of events, in the latter part of the book, concerns the human abduction phenomena, which Salas naturally includes in his array of UFO events. Salas extrapolates findings from researchers such as Dr. Budd Hopkins, Dr. John Mack and Yvonne Smith of the Close Encounter Research Organization.
“Essentially all abductees seem to be given some information, messages, special abilities, direction, or some special ‘mission’ to perform upon their return.” says Salas, “While there is little doubt that some sort of hybridization program is on-going, there is also little doubt that ETs are trying to somehow ‘improve’ our species.”
NUCLEAR DETERENCE AND SALVATION
One of the greatest concerns of the ETs must be, says Salas, that of nuclear deterrence, human destruction, and the secrecy surrounding these topics. Commanding “fairness, honesty, equal treatment, mutual respect, openness, and account-ability to the people,” Salas concludes:
“If we do nothing, we allow excessive secrecy, we allow corruption to take hold, we allow unnecessary wars to happen, we allow a few to control us and our lives without our consent, and we allow a few to decide how we will interact with extraterrestrial life.”
CRITICS AND THE AFTERMATH
Salas’ quest, however, has not been without its critics and problems. Critic Tim Hebert (a former SAC missile crew commander and staff officer, currently in the healthcare field with a RN, BASN and MSA), however, even detailed UFO activity surrounding and prior to the Malmstrom case:
“Jan 9, 1967: Malta, MT at 9 p.m., on family farm. Family alerted by dog, family saw a large rectangular object with glowing red light along the bottom and large amber light on top moving at high speed. The object landed in a field for approximately one hour. Object suddenly disappeared as if it took off at a high rate of speed. The next day, family went to the field were the object had landed. There were no tracks in the snow and no sign that anything had been there. (Billings Gazette, 1-20-67)
“Jan 26, 1967: Havre, MT at 8:15 p.m. A man saw a yellow sphere with blinking yellow body lights which circled a mountain and flew off (nicap.org).
“Feb 9, 1967: Chester, MT, 6:30 a.m., Railroad foreman saw a saucer (disk) with bright body of light hovering over the railroad depot. The depot was engulfed in light, the object departed straight up. (Spokane Spokesman-Review, 2/12/67.)
“Feb 23, 1967 Glasgow AFB, MT, reported sighting by NICAP (no details listed).
“Mar 22, 1967: Newspaper article (UPI), ‘UFOs Seen in Great Falls Vicinity’, The Daily Inter Lake. Tuesday night, 7:45 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., several persons reported seeing unidentified flying objects over the Great Falls, Vaughn, Fort Benton, and Manchester. White lights, big with a little one on top. The object was moving east to west then north to south.
“Mar 23, 1967: Great Falls, MT, 9 p.m.: Sheriffs deputies saw a yellow object with a red glow coming from top to bottom. Object hovered then flew away; Many sightings throughout the state (Great Falls Leader, 3/24/67).
“Mar 24, 1967: Belt, MT, 9 p.m., Truck driver outside of Belt, MT sees a dome shaped object showing bright lights and landing in a nearby ravine (Investigated by Project Blue Book).”
Hebert, a confessed debunker, unfortunately, did not feel the UFO activity connected with any missile failures on the two major missile fiascos of March 16 and 24, 1967. Herbert gives a short summary of events on his website (dated November 26, 2010):
“The letter in its basic meaning set in motion for OOMA, Boeing, Autonetics and 15th AF to provide support to evaluate the situation and find a cause and correction as detailed in the 341st SMS Wing's history.
‘We must have an in-depth analysis to determine cause and corrective action…..’
“The UFO theory backers have used the Malmstrom Incident to foster the notion that a portion of the U.S. nuclear arsenal was neutralized by a UFO. True, ten ICBMs were off alert for one to two days, but no damage was done to the ICBMs themselves. And most importantly, the RVs remained under positive control! There was no ‘Broken Arrow’ called either by the 341st SMW or by SAC!
“So far, I've shown that of the 10 Echo Flight ICBMs in question:
“1. Shutdowns occurred due to a then never seen electrical anomaly.
“2. This anomaly was thoroughly evaluated by SAC, 15th Air Force, 341st SMW, Boeing, Autonetics, OOMA (Hill AFB), and AF Systems Command.
“3. Due to the on-going investigation a serious weapon system vulnerability was discovered (EMP susceptibility)
“4. A fix was implemented force-wide.
“5. After 16 Mar 1967, this type of anomaly would never again occur in any Minuteman wing/system.”
Supporters of Hebert tend to agree with him that the shutdown was caused by a electronic flux and that the reported UFOs started out as a practical joke. Other criticisms that Hebert holds are that Salas mentions maintenance personnel seeing the UFOs: this was not possible as they are usually inside the LF/silo and the names and identities of witnesses to the UFOs are not given.

The news corresponds to the end of a year that was rich in reports on strange manifestations of “flying saucers” and their landings on European soil, in particular. It heralded a rise in sightings worldwide.
On 5 December 1954, Buenos Aires’s “La Razón” newspaper reported – with glaring errors – that “Mr. Enrique Aguirre Zabala, employed at a shop in this city, and who is on vacation on a property that a brother of his owns on the outskirts of Coronel Pringles (Province of Buenos Aires), left the home yesterday at 6 to do some groceries, and saw a luminous disk in space that changed shape as it approached, becoming a “cigar-shaped” structure. When the strange object came within 80 meters of Aguirre, he tried to approach it, but was kept from doing so by the strength of the light it put out, and which blinded him. He says, however, that ‘using his hands as a screen, I advanced until I was perfectly able to see the strange device was half a meter over the ground, and that a strange figure could be seen moving within the disk.’ Aguirre added that it resembled a ‘large-headed dwarf.’ Shortly after there was a sudden, vivid flash of light and the disk rose into the air, vanishing toward to north.”
The Investigation
Coronel Pringles is a locality in the southeastern reaches of the Province of Buenos Aires, largely flat with small mountain ranges from the Ventania group. Its temperate, Pampean and sub-humid climate characterize it as an agricultural area.
A quick consultation with the Post Office and the Township led us to a store called “Los Corrales”, to the northeast and bordering with the urban waste water treatment facility, near the cemetery. It was there that we found Américo Rodolfo Aguirrezabala, who admitted to being the sole witness of the case in question. It became evident that the newspaper article suffered from errors, causing us to entreat him to give us a detailed description of the event, bearing in mind that many aspects had been forgotten and that had never been investigated in the intervening years.
Américo R. Aguirrezabala was 32 years old at the time. On the morning of 4 December 1954, between 6 and 7 o’clock, he headed from the Los Corrales store (located on current Route 51, Km. 29) where he lived with his brother Pedro to the farm belonging to his other sibling, Asencio, 1000 meters distant to the northeast on the same road, which at the time – it is said – was a dirt track. Heading out alone on a pleasant morning, he saw a “round” aeroform some 200 meters away and in front of a tree covered hill. It was pale red in color, some 20-30 meters in diameter, suspended at an estimated height of 15 meters over the ground. It was completely silent and transparent. “I’ve lucked out!” exclaimed Américo Aguirrezabala, having overcome his initial fear and glad to see a flying saucer, much spoken-of at the time. It glowed softly, although “since the Sun was on that side – located to the front and over the object – it did bother me a little,” says the witness, who kept walking toward the farm and getting closer to the phenomenon, which remained suspended in the air. Its transparency allowed him to see movement in what appeared to be its interior, like human silhouettes waking to and fro. They were three figures, two of which were in constant movement, but he was unable to make out any other details.
“When I got closer I saw them. I got nearer and saw people. Then I wondered: ‘what might this be?’ because I always say that I’ve got an enthusiasm for these things, but no, no…it was at that time that it appeared.”
However, the sighting of the “occupants” lasted barely some seconds and was at a distance of 70 meters. The occupants seemed indifferent to the startled onlooker. It was at that time that the phenomenon suddenly vanished, giving the impression of “rising over the trees, toward the right, taking off to the south-southwest. The sun was already rising.” The disappearance of the phenomenon was nearly instantaneous and imperceptible. “It vanished, it vanished as if by magic!” he said, captured by our tape recorder.
The total duration of the sighting was a few minutes, an estimation based on the 130 meters covered by the witness. Américo Aguirrezabala tell us what he was thinking at that minute: “I stopped there, wondering, wondering what it could be, what it might not be. I thought about what I’d read regarding flying saucers, and that this was one of them. And I wondered: “Why did they come here, if they don’t want to speak to us? That’s what it was, and I always say the same. My life didn’t change after this. No, not at all. It stayed the same. Nor did it affect me physically, nor did I have similar experiences after that. My wife did. One morning, she saw some green dwarves with hats of the same color, in the cornfield behind our house,” added Aguirrezabala enthusiastically.
He continued with his story, saying that he stopped to see if there were traces of the unusual presence: “There was nothing scorched at all. I saw the plants and all looked normal.” No alterations of the environment were noticed either, only the apparition of the phenomenon described. “Then I headed onward to the farm,” he says, “and I told my brother, and since he was nearby, toward the back and close to the woodland, he saw nothing. Neither did my other brother, Pedro, who was back in the store. Later it became the talk of the town, but at the store. Some said: ‘you’re a windbag, buddy, why the hell would you see flying saucers.” So, I don’t know if that was a saucer, but the thing was there, hanging [in the air] and nothing more…and as far as what was there, all I saw was the silhouettes walking back and forth, nothing more. No eyes or ears. I can’t tell you anything else. After it happened, it was over and I forgot about it.”
His statement ends with an effort to set the journalistic version straight: “It was the rage at the moment. That’s what prompted the paper to make it known. It was a news story that I had read about at the time, because I always bought La Razón. What I don’t know is who told me about it, although it could have come up from the conversations that used to come about in my store…”
Considerations on the Case
In this incident from Saturday, 4 December 1954, we have a witness who makes a clear effort to recall a sighting that took place a long time ago, without the existence of circumstances that would prompt his memory. However, the tenacity of his memory has been bolstered by the interest and the feelings set in motion by the sight of an unusual event, such as the one described by Américo Aguirrezabala.
Bearing these factors in mind, we have proceeded to collect the most essential aspects of the eyewitness account, and come up with a sort of explanation in the measures that the information provided it will allow it.
In this regard, the early hour of the sighting should be pointed out: between 6 and 7 o’ clock, according to Aguirrezabala, and “6 in the morning” according to the journalistic version. At that time, the sun rose at 5:40 a.m., precisely in the same direction in which the alleged UFO was seen.
It has not escaped us, either, that this phenomenon presented a vision similar to that of the sun: that is to say, circular, with a similar angular size, and a color frequently seen on the horizon.
On the other hand, the differences noted are: its transparent appearance (an inconsistency?), soft glow, movement on its surface, and sudden disappearance.
If we try to reconcile both characteristics, we must refer to certain optical phenomena known as parhelia (sun dogs), through which we may understand the causes for their manifestation. In studying these phenomena, scientists noted long ago that they appear when the Sun (or the Moon) are covered by a bright white veil – a layer of high stratiform cirrus clouds. These clouds float at an altitude of six to eight kilometers and are made up by tiny ice crystals, rising and descending along air currents, reflecting by like a mirror, or else refract the solar rays that fall on them like a glass prism. It often happens that the sky seems to be completely clear, but many small ice crystals float in the atmosphere without forming a cloud. This often happens when the weather is cold and clear at that altitude.
Generally, “the sundog” comes about when the Sun is not very high over the horizon, causing a large halo that goes unseen. Sundogs tend to disappear unexpectedly, or suddenly, according the movement of the sun over the horizon, the air currents and the hexahedral ice crystals floating vertically. Sundogs are not a strange phenomenon in certain parts of the world, and they are often as bright as the Sun itself (1).
In the Province of Buenos Aires (where the incident under discussion took place), there are several journalistic reports involving parhelia. Around that time, on 25 April 1949 in Bernal (2) and on 28 February 1950 in Mar del Plata (3) just to mention a few. More recently, in February 1987 and in a space of 20 days, eight cases were recorded in San Nicolas, and similar ones in Monte Hermoso and Pigue (4).
As for the silhouettes moving within it, seen diffusely for a few seconds, we believe that the witness likely saw – influenced by the worldwide saucer flap – and convinced that he was seeing a “genuine” flying saucer, he did not hesitate to attribute any movement in the optical image to the presence of unknown entities.

Who are we? Methods, validity, and scope is what we are sharing in the world of awakening awareness as in consciousness. Being awake and aware of all that surrounds us and being plugged into the universal consciousness is not only a right but a responsibility.
Wakefulness is a daily recurring brain state and state of consciousness in which an individual is conscious and engages in coherent cognitive and behavioral responses to the external world such as communication, ambulation, eating, and sex. Being awake is the opposite of the state of being asleep in which most external inputs to the brain are excluded from neural processing.
Epistemology is the investigation of what distinguishes justified belief from opinion. Epistemology episteme-knowledge, understanding; logos-study of is the branch of philosophy concerned with the nature and scope of knowledge and is also referred to as “theory of knowledge”.
It questions what knowledge is and how it can be acquired, and the extent to which knowledge pertinent to any given subject or entity can be acquired. Authority is most religions other than in monism of one God vs. polytheism of many gods. Question final authority as whose?
Much of the debate in this field has focused on the philosophical analysis of the nature of knowledge and how it relates to connected notions such as truth, belief, and justification.
The term “epistemology” was introduced by the Scottish philosopher James Frederick Ferrier. In Christian, Islamic, or Jewish mysticism, mystery religions and Gnosticism gnosis generally signifies a spiritual knowledge or “religion of knowledge”, in the sense of mystical enlightenment or “insight”. Christian Science, some forms of spiritualism, and in what was called the “New Theology,”.
“Gnosis” and “Gnosticism” are almost always used interchangeably. The suggestion that term “gnosis” ought to be used to describe a state of consciousness, while “Gnosticism”.
Definitions in fields such as social sciences and spiritual science is being written. Historical context of beliefs toward action now unfolds. Monism is the philosophical view that a variety of existing things can be explained in terms of a single reality or substance. Stuff monism is only one kind of stuff as matter or mind.
Thing-monism exists speaking as a single thing the universe so is monism a metaphysical dualism and metaphysical pluralism? Are we there yet?
William Blake on Emery summarizes twelve points on which Gnostics tended to agree in describing characteristics of the Gnostic mythos.
Gnostic teachers and groups in era of classical Gnosticism adheres to some or all who are called a Gnostic:
The Gnostics posited an original spiritual unity that came to be split into a plurality.
As a result of the pre-cosmic division the universe was created. This was done by a leader possessing inferior spiritual powers and who often resembled the Old Testament Jehovah.
A female emanation of God was involved in the cosmic creation albeit in a much more positive role than the leader.
In the cosmos, space and time have a malevolent character and may be personified as demonic beings separating man from God.
For man, the universe is a vast prison. He is enslaved both by the physical laws of nature and by such moral laws as the Mosaic code.
Mankind may be personified as Adam, who lies in the deep sleep of ignorance, his powers of spiritual self-awareness stupefied by materiality.
Within each natural man is an “inner man,” a fallen spark of the divine substance. Since this exists in each man, we have the possibility of awakening from our stupefaction.
What effects the awakening is not obedience, faith, or good works, but knowledge.
Before the awakening, men undergo troubled dreams.
Man does not attain the knowledge that awakens him from these dreams by cognition but through revelatory experience, and this knowledge is not information but a modification of the sensate being.
The awakening i.e., the salvation of any individual is a cosmic event.
Since the effort is to restore the wholeness and unity of the Godhead, active rebellion against the moral law of the Old Testament is enjoined upon every man.
Emery's twelve points are in every consistent with the proposal set out by the colloquium at Messina. Second-century Gnosticism is taken as the principal model for all of these definitions, a practice that appears to be sensible.
Feminism and the Gaia hypothesis may be a part of Gnosticism? So who are we alien or ET?
For any reader interested in finding a connection between the slayings of animals attributed to creatures known as “Chupacabras” and the UFO phenomenon, the simplest procedure would consist in scanning the press for both types of stories. If we compare them in volume, we shall see a significant imbalance that would suggest, initially, a lack of connection between both phenomena. Nonetheless, an analysis of the scant journalistic manifestation serves to dispel this preconception even further. Let us examine the source material.

The problems faced by a camera crew attempting to record a triangle found in the Quebrada de Panipica (4,333 meters above sea level) in Chile’s 2nd region, are made public. It was only on the third attempt that the object was able to be recorded in color, having appeared earlier in black and white. This triangle seemingly has an electromagnetic effect over machinery and equipment.
As days went by, a witness named Wilson Torres, an equipment technician, said that he had found that triangle in the year 1989. It is only possible to see it from a height.

The development and magnification of photographs taken in the interior of Calama, in the Commune of San Pedro de Atacama, made plain the existence of an equilateral triangle measuring 40 meters on its sides, located between the mountains and near the Sairecabur volcano, at an altitude of over four thousand meters.
The formation was first noticed by elements of the Anti-Narcotics Brigade of the Calama Police, who took photographs in the interior or the province as part of a study for a proposed landing strip. Upon developing the film and magnifying it, they noticed a curious shape on the terrain in the bottom of a gorge known as Panipica, surrounded by the convergence of the slopes of three mountains.
Without giving it further importance, they took advantage of a journey to the interior to reach this location, some 60 kilometers northeast of San Pedro de Atacama, some 4000 feet above sea level.
An equilateral triangle measuring 40 meters on each side startled the police officers, because from the height of one of the mountains, it looked like a huge set square, whose interior had an intense gray, nearly black, color. Once they reached the place, the authorities ascertained that this triangle was surrounded by grass. The interior surface, however, measuring 40 meters per side, is a plain of solid stone, flattened and burned on its upper side, as though subjected to very high temperature.
They thought it might be a heliport, but considering the prevailing wind direction, this proved impossible, because no known craft could make a landing with such a hindrance. The surface and its periphery do not match the traditional landscape of the north, and it is not a geoglyph, in the estimation of the police officers. Their immediate deduction is that it could have been a place where a meteorite fell, or where a UFO could have landed.”

In the Province of El Loa (2nd Region) and at an altitude of 4,233 meters above sea level, there exists what have some have considered to be a possible landing site for unidentified flying objects, some two kilometers from another runway that has attracted police attention due to drug trafficking.
More than shapes, two triangular structures over a broad expanse of terrain, flattened to a considerable depth, suggest the intense pressure they were exposed to, as if something of considerable weight rested upon them.
From these locations it is possible to see the Sairecabur volcano and the Chatxas mountain, snow-crowned, undeniably contributing to the intense cold of the region. The triangles follow the lines of the Panipica Gorge. One of the triangles was discovered by the Anti-Drug Brigade of the Calama Police while the other was found by reporters. The larger triangle measures some 40 meters on each side; it is an equilateral triangle, although seen at a distance, it looks like an isosceles triangle – having two equal sides and one unequal one. The smaller triangle is similar but less visible, as it becomes lost between two mountains.
The surface surrounding the triangle is surrounded by the plants known as “leon echado” (sleeping lion) by residents of the interior, due to its aspect when it dries out. It is pure scrub vegetation and is always swept by the wind, despite its hardness. The triangulation is formed precisely because the vegetation disappeared, possibly burned off or due to an extraordinarily powerful wind that left the surroundings with the green plants pointing in the same direction. The sector is covered by four-inch stones, but these have been demolished within the triangle into the “rip-rap” employed in highway paving. They are tamped down in such a way that exceeds the capabilities of known drum rollers employed in paving operations. The flattening is in excess of two meters deep. Some of the four-inch stones resisted the pressure and remained inside the formation, but their coloring is different from the rest. At the point where the three heights of the triangle come together, there grows a plant of such hardness that it cannot be removed by hand or even using a small tool.
The [triangular shape] seems to be protected by an electrical force. The automatic systems of the photo camera failed in that place, and was only able to operate from the surrounding areas. The desert has thousands of shapes caused by changes in colors, topography and visible geological features, but these triangles do not correspond to what is readily visible. The ground conditions dismiss the likelihood that the triangles could be the bottom of a lagoon. If this were the case, we would be talking about the Neolithic period and it would have been discovered a long time ago.
The locale is suitable to the description given last year to this newspaper by a Calama resident who was allegedly saved from certain death in the heights due to the appearance of two UFOs. He saw two vehicles that employed a highly peculiar communication system by means of shapes traced in the air. He claimed [the craft] emerged from in between the volcanos and after some lengthy communication, they disappeared. The Calama resident walked up a slope. In the distance, he was able to see laborers working with heavy machinery. His descriptions correspond to the topography and geography of that sector. The workingmen could have been from a mining company located to the north. Quarry work can be seen to the South of this location.
In days following this experience, the man was found near San Pedro de Atacama and was taken to a first aid station. The experience with the two UFOs took place in 1994.
More Recent Events
“It was like an electric arc light, lasting for a fraction of a second, lighting up the entire valley of Calama, but it was snuffed before it hit the ground, and could have easily fallen in Argentina or in Chiu-Chiu.”
There just so happens to be a straight line running from Calama to the triangle. The straight line runs through Ayquina. This happened on March 19th and the witness was Jorge Elias Zenteno,58, an electronics technician and current night watchman of a graveyard located to the west of Calama on Route 60, 4 kilometers from the city limits. The phenomenon took place at 1:10 hours on St. Joseph’s Day, and coincides with the date that concerns the Institute of Astronomy, whose director, Luis Barrera, reported to NASA in the U.S.A. regarding meteorite falls between 22:00 hours on 18 March and 22:00 hours on 19 March.”

“Two months ago, perhaps more, three green colored meteorites (similar to a flare) crossed the skies of Antofagasta from East to West. They did not travel continuously: the first one entered our atmosphere around 23:00 hours on a Saturday; the second at 01:30 hours in the morning; the third at five o’clock in the morning. These meteorites were seen by over a hundred people. Records of this phenomenon were submitted by Luis Barrera, Director of the Institute of Astronomy of the Universidad Catolica del Norte.
No logical explanation for what occurred was ever put forth. The three meteorites allegedly crashed in some point of our cordillera. When they struck the Earth’s surface, no impact or tremor was felt – only a large flash that filled the horizon.
Nothing was ever heard again about the meteorites. Two weeks later, a strange “runway” is found in the desert of our region. It is a triangle measuring forty meters on each side; its interior is completely flat and without stones. The presence of a powerful magnetic field was ascertained in this area, capable of causing alterations to wristwatches, photo cameras and video cameras. What is going on here? Is this an extraterrestrial landing strip? Is this where the meteorites fell, which weren’t meteorites at all but alien craft? Many questions can be put forth about the subject without finding an answer. This triangle remains an unsolved mystery. The animal slayings in the provinces of El Loa, Tocopila and Antofagasta commenced shortly after the appearance of this “landing strip” – that is to say, we are talking about three facts that could be related to each other, or not at all. No rational explanation, however, has been found for these three cases. Meanwhile, the Chupacabras keeps attacking and killing animals in other regions of the country.”
My Observations on the Subject
The discovery of the notorious triangle occurred nearly 11 years prior to the mass killings of animals. This account demolishes journalistic information that endeavors to relate it with the animal deaths in the 2nd Region and other parts of the country, showing that chroniclers and journalists forged a link between these items that has never been proven, employing significant elements.
For a while now, I have kept a record of UFO sightings in Chile since the year 1580 on a map. I did something similar with the Chupacabras. This does not mean that one supports the other.
Up to now, no eyewitness accounts involving UFO sightings in days prior, during the night or during the morning have come forth regarding animal deaths between January 2000 and October 2002, in any part of the national territory.
We are unable to even statistically consider the frequency of UFO sightings and the record of killings, which exceeds 200 cases confirmed by the press.
I incorrectly believed at one point that an event in Punta Arenas could bolster a case in the 2nd Region or anywhere else. Over the course of months and days, I’ve come to realize it is quite the contrary. For this reason, these words set forth my working hypothesis regarding the lack of relationship [between UFOs and animal deaths] at least in Chile, until the contrary can be proven. We are still collecting journalistic information and requesting support from experts on the subject. There is still much to be collected, researched and contrasted in this regard.
A UFO has captured the attention of thousand of Peruvians today, after Congressman Renzo Reggiardo and his film crew captured footage of a purple floating object in the sky over Miraflores, Lima in Peru on February 10, 2015.
According to Peruthisweek Reggiardo had just begun filming for his program “Alto al crimen” when his camera man got distracted by something floating in the distant sky. They postponed filming a few moments to take a better look at the floating object.
Onlookers in the video shout their wild suggestions and estimations for the UFO and concluded it could not be a plane for the way it was floating.

Volgens de theorieën van Einstein is het heelal zo’n 13,8 miljard jaar geleden ontstaan uit een enorm heet punt met een oneindig grote dichtheid. Tegelijkertijd met deze oerknal zouden ruimte en tijd zijn ontstaan.
Hoewel de meeste mensen dit model accepteren, kunnen wetenschappers nog altijd niet verklaren wat er in dit punt, een singulariteit geheten, is gebeurd of wat ervoor was. Twee natuurkundigen hebben een radicale nieuwe theorie opgesteld die suggereert dat de Big Bang nooit heeft plaatsgevonden en dat ons universum geen begin en geen eind heeft.

We horen natuurlijk regelmatig verhalen van UFO’s die in de buurt van passagiersvliegtuigen worden gesignaleerd.
Dat twee passagierstoestellen van dezelfde maatschappij daardoor ontwijkende bewegingen moeten maken om geen botsing te krijgen, komt niet zo vaak voor.
Toch is dit wat er gebeurde in het westen van Australië, niet ver van de stad Perth.
Beide gevallen hebben betrekking op vliegtuigen van dezelfde luchtvaartmaatschappij, Skippers Aviation uit Perth.
Het ene incident vond plaats op 19 maart vorig jaar toen een De Havilland DHC-8 met registratie VH-XFX van deze maatschappij onderweg was van Kambalda in West Australië naar Perth.
Het toestel had bijna haar bestemming bereikt en vloog op 23 kilometer afstand ten noorden van Perth op een hoogte van 3.800 voet, toen de bemanning een vreemd licht waarnam recht voor het toestel.
Het leek alsof het licht zich bewoog in de richting van het toestel en de bemanning besefte dat het hoorde bij een onbekend vliegend object, een UFO dus.
De piloot moest een ontwijkende manoeuvre maken om niet tegen het object te botsen en het passeerde het vliegtuig op een afstand van ongeveer 20 meter en zo’n 30 meter hoger dan het vliegtuig.
Volgens het rapport van de piloot was het een cilindervormig object en grijs van kleur. Het gebied waar het incident plaatsvond was in zogenaamde “controlled airspace”, wat betekent dat er geen verkeer mag vliegen zonder toestemming en alleen onder controle van de verkeersleiding. Het was duidelijk dat deze UFO zich niet had gemeld bij de verkeersleiding. Deze hadden ook helemaal niets gezien op hun radarschermen en konden derhalve het vliegtuig ook geen waarschuwing geven.
Omdat het vliegtuig vloog op 3.800 voet hoogte en de ruimte beneden 3.500 voet verboden militair gebied was, ging het vermoeden in eerste instantie uit naar een militaire drone. De Australische luchtmacht verklaarde echter van niets te weten en was daar op die dag ook niet actief geweest met drones.
Volgens UFO onderzoeker Paul Dean bestaat hier dan ook geen twijfel en hebben we te maken met een buitenaards voertuig. Zeker omdat dit de tweede keer was dat er zich een dergelijk incident voordeed.
Volgens Paul Dean was er op 4 januari 2013 een vergelijkbaar incident op ongeveer dezelfde positie en eveneens met een Skippers vliegtuig.
Uiteraard proberen de autoriteiten dit af te doen als mensen die met op afstand bestuurbare (sport)toestellen vliegen en dat dit toch wel de nodige gevaren voor de luchtvaart oplevert. De verkeersleiding noch de luchtmacht heeft echter iemand kunnen vinden die hiervoor verantwoordelijk geweest zou kunnen zijn.
Daarom blijft dit mysterie de gemoederen in Perth en omstreken bezighouden en zijn er toch velen die denken dat er wel degelijk sprake is van een UFO.

UNCENSORED magazine claims a 1940s film was recently discovered showing U.S. military personnel carrying remains of an alien. The New Zealand/Australian magazine first posted the video to its website on January 22 by its editor Jonathan Eisen and uploaded to YouTube recently. Titled “Roswell Original Footage of Dead Alien Rediscovered by UNCENSORED Editor,” the video allegedly not only shows dead alien body, but also people who carried it out from the military ambulance to a particular place.
The post in the magazine cites the All News Pipeline, an alternative news website, as their source of the story. Indeed, the All News Pipeline published a story of the video on the 13th of January titled “Is This The Real Roswell Alien Footage?”
According to the source, the technical people of UNCENSORED did a frame by frame analysis prior releasing the footage online, and these people determined that the video was legitimate in every aspect. The source says that it has sufficient clues to ascertain that the footage came from the late 1940s.
UNCENSORED write up about the video states that the images from the footage were first posted on the magazine and adds that the complete footage itself has yet to be released by the magazine on the Internet.
However, this assertion has some problems including the fact that this footage has already made rounds on the Internet for years now. For example, the same footage was uploaded to YouTube in 2011 titled “Roswell 1947 Alien Footage – Copy of Original 1947 Footage…”
Additionally, similar footage appeared in 2006 comedy film titled “Alien Autopsy.” See it at the 1:07 mark of the clip from the movie.
The alleged Roswell footage has been around for years, but its authenticity has since been debated.
Alien Autopsy: Fact or Fiction, a famous television documentary in 1995, shows an apparent real alien autopsy from the 1947 Roswell UFO crash. The man behind this documentary, London businessman Ray Santilli, claimed a former US military cameraman had the possession of the footage and that he bought it from him. But Santilli admitted that his television documentary only shows a recreated footage because the original one was damaged beyond repair. He claimed that the short black and white video shown in 2006 movie Alien Autopsy and recently featured by UNCENSORED is original and authentic footage.
Some firmly believe that the short film does show the real alien from the crash incident in Roswell, but others just can’t accept this possibility, including sculptor John Humphreys. According to Humphreys, Santilli hired him to make the aliens shown in the Alien Autopsy comedy. Humphreys added that he was also hired to perform the effects of black and white sequence.

This UFO spotted above Loch Lomond has re-ignited a long standing debate
Last week an incident above Loch Lomond was added to the long list of reported UFO sightings above Scotland.
The Loch Lomond sighting was slightly further north of the hotbed of Scottish UFO sightings said to take place in the ‘Falkirk Triangle’.
The Falkirk triangle stretches from Stirling to the outskirts of Edinburgh and is said to be home to around 300 sighting reports each year.
The centre of the Falkirk triangle is, of course, Bonnybridge. The small town, just outside of Falkirk, has had so many UFO sightings it is now officially twinned with the American city of Roswell in New Mexico, the site of the famous alleged saucer crash in 1947.
Bonnybridge
With literally thousands of sightings since the early 1990s, Bonnybridge is officially the home of UFOs in Scotland.
Over 600 sightings were made from 1992 to 1994 and as sightings continued thereafter, authorities wrote to Westminster pleading for help.
Cllr William Buchanan, wrote to both John Major and Tony Blair demanding “the truth”.
However, the MoD replied that it was “satisfied that there is no evidence that the United Kingdom’s airspace might have been compromised by hostile or unauthorised foreign military activity”.
Livingston
In November 1979 a man reported seeing a “flying dome” and being attacked by aliens, just outside Livingston.
Robert Taylor, a forestry worker for the Livingston Development Corporation, explained he was walking his dog along a forest path up the side of Dechmont Law when he saw what he described as a “flying dome” or a large, circular sphere approximately 20 feet (6.1 metres) in diameter, hovering above the forest floor in a clearing.
Taylor said the object was “a dark metallic material with a rough texture like sandpaper” featuring an outer rim “set with small propellers”.
Taylor says he could smell a foul smell “like burning brakes” and that smaller spheres “similar to sea mines” then dragged him towards the larger object before he lost consciousness.
When he awoke the objects were gone, he was battered and bruised, his trousers were ripped and he could not start his truck, so walked all the way home.
A plaque has now been erected on the site of the alleged encounter by UFO enthusiasts.
Muchalls
While Bonnybridge may be Scotland’s UFO capital, the Aberdeenshire village of Muchalls certainly runs it close.
UFO sightings in the village began in the early 1970s and were reportedly seen almost every night over a number of years.
There was two main witnesses and by the 1990s, with developments in technology, UFOs were filmed in the area.

UFO investigator Nick Pope, insists “compelling” evidence of extraterrestrials in Scotland has been covered up. Pope formerly ran the Ministry of Defence’s project on the subject and, speaking to BBC Radio Scotland Show, Tales of the Unexplained, he said the best picture of a UFO he ever saw was that of a“diamond-shaped metallic craft” suspended in the sky over the village of Calvine in Perthshire.
The UFO was spotted by two men who reported seeing the 25 metre craft hover for 10 minutes before charging up into the heavens at great speed.
The two men took a picture of the craft, which appeared to show military planes in the background and seemed to be escorting “or even chasing” the UFO.
The picture was later sent to the Ministry of Defence where experts told Pope they believed the photo was genuine and Pope blew up the picture and pinned it to his wall.
However, the picture was taken down by Pope’s manager and was never seen again – it did not even appear years later when the MOD released ‘all’ their UFO files.

One August night in 1992, Garry Woods and Colin Wright were driving down the A70 road outside Edinburgh, heading to see a friend. However, looking skywards, they spotted a disc-shaped UFO above the road.
The object produced a strange mist and, when the mist touched the car, they duo say that everything went black.
Later, under hypnosis, Woods and Wright recalled having been forced aboard the UFO by three small entities.
They claim they were given a physical examination while on board the craft before being returned safely to their vehicle.
Fraserburgh
Muchalls is not the only place in Aberdeenshire where UFO sightings have been reported.
A frightened north east family spotted a strange object in the sky just above their home near Fraserburgh, they filmed the UFO for a short while but it remained overhead for hours.
Morag Ritchie noticed the flickering rotating lights around 2am and explained to BBC Scotland: “I saw what I thought was a bright star.
“However, it was a sequence of flashing lights. There was also a darting light coming from the side. There was no sound, either.”
Ritchie woke her family up and they all witnessed the UFO hang in the air as a number of other lights turned on and off around the main object.

On Feb. 11, 1989, several people reported seeing UFOs over Fyffe, Ala. The sightings would become a national story. Here is a story I wrote about it for the 25th anniversary in 2014:
"FYFFE, Alabama - The prospect of seeing a UFO lured more than 4,000 people to this town of 1,300 in northeast Alabama Friday night, but for all the hoopla no unidentified flying objects were sighted. Visibility was difficult because of clouds and light rain. Fyffe got on the UFO circuit Feb. 10, when a woman reported seeing a strange light in the sky and the police later reported seeing a large lighted object passing silently over them. Numerous other sightings have been reported since then." - New York Times, March 6, 1989
Twenty-five years ago last week, the tiny DeKalb County town of Fyffe, Ala., became the center of national attention.
On Friday, Feb. 11, 1989, the first call was made to the Fyffe Police Department. A woman reported seeing a strange object in the sky. By the end of Feb. 12, more than 50 residents had reported seeing the strange objects, including the town's police chief and his assistant.
The object was described by a witness as hovering "at an angle from 1 o'clock to 7 o'clock with bright lights at the top and bottom. The curvature was outlined in green with "a real bright light in the center."
Fyffe Police Chief Charles "Junior" Garmany and Assistant Police Chief Fred Works responded to the initial call and soon saw something in the sky.
Garmany and Works were driving along DeKalb County Road 43 but stopped and stepped out of the car when they saw an object in the sky that was "bigger than a jumbo jet" and silent. They described it as metallic and triangular shaped.
According to DeKalbLandmarks.org, Works told a reporter: "The object came on over and got straight overhead. It was big, wide and appeared to be a wide triangular shape. We kept waiting to hear the sound. We kept looking at each other and saying, 'Where's the sound?' We never heard anything."
Garmany added: "What I saw the first time was like nothing I ever saw before. It was not a helicopter, it was not a plane. Not a sound."
A week later, Works told the Associated Press: "I'm not saying what I saw was a flying saucer but what really got to me was the lack of sound."
Other law officers who reported seeing something strange in the sky included a Crossville Police officer, the Geraldine Police chief and a state trooper, AP reported.
Over the next few days as many as 4,000 tourists and more than 100 news organizations converged on Fyffe. After a witness described the craft as banana shaped, an entrepreneur began selling T-shirts with a banana-shaped object on the front with the words: "I Survived the Fyffe UFO."
For a while, residents of Fyffe enjoyed the notoriety but soon the tourists and jokes grew tiresome, as The Tuscaloosa News reported Feb. 17, 1989, under the headline "Fyffe police chief, aide tired of UFO jokes."
Works said in the article: "I walked into the grill the other day for lunch and there sat a reporter. I never even got to eat. I came on back to the office and there sat reporters from a TV station...Right now, I'm two wreck reports behind."
After a few years, however, the town realized the lure of its history and began hosting the Fyffe UFO Days Festival each August, featuring hot air balloons, arts and crafts, games, a street dance, live entertainment and more.
Junior Garmany went on to run the Shop and Go store in Fyffe and later ran unsuccessfully for the Town Council. Garmany died Oct. 24, 2013, at the age of 64. The flag at Fyffe Town Hall flew at half mast in his honor, according to the town's Facebook page.
Other sightings in Alabama
Fyffe is not the only Alabama town with a history of UFO sightings. Sightings were especially plentiful in the 1970s.

Falkville 1973
In 1973, another police chief in a small north Alabama town took a photo of what he thought was an alien being.
That October, Falkville Police Chief Jeff Greenhaw responded to a call from a woman who was "excited" as she reported seeing something strange. Greenhaw responded and came upon a 6-foot tall metallic creature with an antennae on its head.
"It looked like his head and neck were kind of made together... he was real bright, something like rubbing mercury on nickel, but just as smooth as glass-different angles give different lighting. I don't believe it was aluminum foil... It was running faster than any human I ever saw."
Greenhaw was ridiculed and lost his job. Many people believed someone had played a prank on the chief. However, the photo he snapped of the creature that night can be seen in books on alien life.
Moundville 1976
An anonymous witness told The Tuscaloosa News what he saw in October 1976: "The thing dropped out of the sky like a rock/ Just when I thought I was about to be crushed, it pulled up just short ... I looked up again and a light as bright as the sun blinded me."
Hayden Mountain 1977
In 1977, Mr. and Mrs. Terry White were driving toward their Blount County home with their children in the car when they spotted a 65-foot-long craft. Terry told The Tuscaloosa News: "It had something coming out of the bottom of the object. It looked like pads. They were half the width of the object."

A local teenager, Stewart Lewis, told The Tuscaloosa News: "What I saw then was beyond imagination. It was kind of a triangular shaped It object with the shape of a pool rack. It had a deep yellow glow...it seemed like it was thrown out of an explosion. It was tumbling but it was moving slowly on a line."

The Hessdalen light is an unexplained light usually seen in the Hessdalen valley in Norway.
Unusual lights have been reported here since the 1940s or earlier. Especially high activity of Hessdalen lights took place from December 1981 until the summer of 1984 when lights were observed 15–20 times per week. Since then, the activity has decreased and now the lights are observed some 10–20 times per year.
The Hessdalen light most often is a bright, white or yellow light of unknown origin. On February 8, 2015, the Live Cam2 (NW) recorded again a strange light floating above the ground level.
This kind of mysterious entities or supernatural beings are seen worldwide. Despite intensive research and analysis on this phenomenon, there is no explanation as to what it could be.
On the back roads of Brazoria County, somewhere between Damon and West Columbia along Highway 36, they still talk about a pair of purple and blue lights.
It’s the story of Brazoria County Deputy Bob Goode and Chief Deputy Billy Edwin McCoy.
It was September 3, 1965 when they spotted the mile wide UFO with Purple and Blue Lights.

Two weeks ago my husband was awakened out of my sleep in the early morning hours and saw a small red laser light that traveled across the ceiling and down the northwest corner of the bedroom wall. I reported the incident to the local police department. Our first thought was that someone was playing a prank with either a laser pointer or worst case scenario a gun sight. I did however; have a problem with my husband’s laser theory because his bedroom window has heavy bamboo blinds that are pulled more than halfway down. It would be difficult for anything to penetrate the thick bamboo blinds. As far as I was aware that was the only incident that occurred that night.
This morning he called me into his bedroom and told me that he had seen a being in his bedroom around 6:00 AM. He said that it appeared to be self illuminating. “Very bright” He said it was about my height, which is approximately 5 foot five inches and that it glowed and it had no face. He said it’s head was a little larger than human. He said when he saw it; the being was near the bedroom door, apparently when it realized my husband was watching it, the being looked slightly over its shoulder at my husband and very quickly exited the bedroom. My husband said it had no discernible features, it had no face. It was then he told me that the night he’s seen the laser, he’d had also seen an approx 3 foot by 3 foot square shape projected on the mirror of his closet doors. He said it looked like a large picture frame and that there was a very bright light illuminating from within it, with strange black symbols that resembled hieroglyphic‘s inside of what he described as small boxes they were also illuminated. He said he’s never seen anything like them before. I asked him why he hadn’t mentioned this before. He told me that he couldn’t understand how there was this large imagine in his mirror, because there are no windows on the west wall of his bedroom, so it couldn’t have been a reflection. He wasn’t going to mention it until he saw the being this morning. He told me he’s very unnerved about these sightings, since they are becoming repetitive. I’m concerned because my husband is not one to make-up stories. He’s very practical down to earth kind of person. If he said he saw something, he did. But he wouldn’t file this report however, he did give me permission to file on his behalf.
And that he will relate the story if asked about it. I found some pictures on the internet and asked if any were similar to what he saw in projected on the mirror. He choose this picture, as it was very close to what he saw.

In mei zullen foto’s naar buiten worden gebracht waarop naar verluidt een buitenaards wezen te zien is dat in 1947 bij Roswell is neergestort. Dat meldt de Britse krant Metro.
Verschillende sites claimen dat de foto’s ‘bewijzen dat aliens bestaan’. De afbeeldingen zouden zijn gevonden in een envelop op een zolder, achtergelaten door een geoloog die in de jaren veertig werkzaam was in de buurt van Roswell.
De foto’s zullen op 5 mei aanstaande worden getoond tijdens een ceremonie in het Auditorio Nacional in Mexico-Stad, die live wordt uitgezonden. In dit centrum is ruimte voor 10.000 mensen.
Onderzoeker Anthony Baraglia zei: “Wetenschappers hebben zich erover gebogen en zij hebben vastgesteld dat het echte beelden zijn uit 1947. De enige conclusie is: deze humanoïde is geen misvormd persoon, mummie, dummy, aap of gesneuvelde militair. Het is geen wezen dat van de aarde afkomstig is.”
Schrijver Nigel Watson wees erop dat andere ufologen sceptischer zijn omdat het meeste bewijs voor de Roswell-crash in het verleden nep is gebleken. De films die zijn gemaakt over de autopsie op een buitenaards lichaam, bleken achteraf in scène te zijn gezet. Het echte beeldmateriaal was verloren gegaan of vernietigd, aldus Watson.
Naast Roswell zijn er sinds 1947 nog zo’n 300 andere UFO-incidenten geweest, waarbij vliegende schotels op aarde crashten. Net als het Roswellincident worden ze naarmate de tijd verstrijkt steeds spectaculairder en mysterieuzer.
Ook hij is in de database aan het grasduinen op 10 februari wanneer hij de volgende UFO ter grootte van de maan ontdekt aan het oppervlak van de zon.
Volgens Scott is er geen enkele twijfel mogelijk en hebben we hier te maken met een UFO, vergelijkbaar zoals die werd waargenomen door Russische wetenschappers.
Om dat aan te tonen, heeft hij een tweede opname van ongeveer een kwartier later dan de bovenstaande, waarop te zien is dat de UFO is verdwenen.
De schepen die worden waargenomen rondom de zon zijn enorm qua grootte. Groot genoeg om het belangrijkste deel van de bevolking van deze planeet naar een locatie elders in het universum te brengen.
Wie weet is deze optie nieteens zo ver gezocht als je wellicht op het eerste gezicht zou kunnen denken.
Sovereignty group Lawful Hawaiian Government constructed a UFO landing pad and the so-called Star Visitor Center on a rocky, lava field of Big Island to welcome ET visitors.
Waiting for space alien visitors is perhaps similar to the hope of reinstating the Hawaiian Kingdom of over 120 years ago. However, the Lawful Hawaiian Government made alien welcome pad last year, hoping that it could help advertise its cause.
According to Big Island coordinator, Garry Hoffeld, the idea of creating UFO landing pad is to announce to the world, as well as to the universe, that Hawaii is a neutral country and interested in making peaceful relationships with anyone in the world and even from outside Earth.
It appears that the group wants to let the people in the world know that the UFO landing strip is more a symbolic build than a literal UFO touchdown. The location was chosen for two major reasons; the natural beauty of the place and the proximity to Uncle Robert’s bar. The owner of the restaurant, Hawaiian noble Robert Keliihoomalu, built the E.T.-beckoning spot. Keliihoomalu believes that native Hawaiians were coming from Pleiades descended to Earth.
If aliens were going to visit Earth and make their presence known, hopefully they will realize that Hawaii would be a nice area to hold the welcoming party.
