1861 UFO: The Five Points Incident

Consider for a moment that this account is an 1861 UFO sighting.

It was March 1861; President Abraham Lincoln had been inaugurated earlier in the month. Barely two months after the Confederacy had seceded from the Union.

The New York City of that era was a cramped urban setting before the age of tall buildings. Around midnight in a Five Points slum house on Baxter Street, Mrs. T. Richard Kinder was looking eastward out of an upper floor window towards the Church of Transfiguration. In the clear moonless sky she saw a cross like object with a flaming luminosity moving across the sky. She woke her husband and he too saw the radiant cross.

This 1861 UFO story comes to us from an obscure entry into a Baptismal record from St. Peters Church in Jersey City, NJ. Perhaps the woman thought this was a sign from God and shared it with a priest. Confessions of sighting strange objects in the sky are still being heard by priests to this day.  This short account was scribbled into a cramped space at the bottom of an 1858 Baptismal book of St. Peter’s church, probably because paper was very precious in those days.

It should be noted that 1861 was 41 years before the Wright Brothers flew.

A 2013 UFO researcher dug through some newspaper archives probing for additional accounts. What he found was eye opening. There weren’t any accounts of the sighting, but there was a significant story about a Canal street fire, six blocks from Mrs. Kinder’s house. The newspaper states that a warehouse, a book bindery, and a laboratory went up in a huge fire, effectively leveling an entire block. Maybe the only reason the cross shaped craft was seen at all was because the light of the huge fire illuminated its reflective hull.

Gerald Ford Asked for a Congressional Investigation of UFOs

House Minority Leader Gerald Ford 0n March 25, 1966, proposed to Congress that they investigate the rash of reported sightings of unidentified flying objects in Michigan and other parts of the country.

Ford said, “I believe a congressional inquiry would be worthwhile because the American people are becoming alarmed by the UFO stories. “

It didn’t hurt his political chances and helped make his name a household word and later President.

Secret Space Age

 Olive Phillips has written a very interesting book that provides the plausibility for a series of conspiracies that makes fascinating reading. In 1977 in the quiet English countryside a film was aired. It was so shocking that for more than 30 years it’s been discussed and analyzed. But what if Alternative Three was in fact real? Was it the blueprint for surviving the end of the world and a coming ice age? How does it connect to the Secret Space Program with bases on the Moon, Nazi UFO’s, SDI and even Chemtrails? There are few books that delve into the Earth’s ice ages cycle and tie them to government preparations such as underground facilities. Phillips realizes global warming will likely end with an ice age cycle that will greatly disrupt food distribution and supplies, thereby ending the modern human existence. Phillips feels we are far ahead of what we are told and our personnel have gone to the Moon and Mars.

He explains Chemtrails are a program to help stop global warming. He examined thousands of patents and Patent 5003186 called Stratospheric Weisbach or the seeding for the reduction global warming came out of Hughes Aircraft in 1990. It references patents from 1965 and 1988 for dropping metallic particles such as aluminum from the upper atmosphere to diminish the reflectivity of Earth and decrease Global warming. Apparently additives are placed in the jet fuel that is somewhat effective in providing a sunscreen for planet Earth. Less light energy from the sun is reaching a darkened Earth and helping to reduce temperatures of at least one degree for thirty years, although last year was one of the warmest in recent history. If we were to go years without the Chemtrails sunscreen ambient temperature would likely rise ten degrees.

Can the Earth be Selfish?

The Gaian Challenge to Darwinism

“Modern science lacks a unifying, interdisciplinary theory of life. In other words, current theories are unable to explain why life is the way it is and not any other way. Dr. David Grinspoon writes about Charley Lineweaver’s review of “Scientists Debate Gaia,” a collection of essays gathered from an American Geophysical Union conference and by the published by MIT press. Charles H. Lineweaver is a Senior Fellow at Australia National University’s Planetary Science Institute.

        He explained that James Lovelock (shown) proposed the Gaia hypothesis, in which Earth is an organism or system capable of self-regulation. He wondered: Can the existence of life be recognized from the chemical composition of a planet’s atmosphere? What would the Earth be like now, if life had never evolved on it? Would there be oxygen in the air? Would the surface temperature be hot like Venus or cold like Mars? In the mid-60’s, NASA consulted James Lovelock to assist in developing instruments for the Viking spacecraft to detect life on Mars. He concluded that it wasn’t necessary to send a spacecraft to Mars. All you needed was to determine the composition of the Martian atmosphere –- if life was there, the atmosphere should be in chemical disequilibrium as it is on Earth. Recent observations, have detected methane on Mars indicating life.

Determining what life is and how to recognize it is the Holy Grail of astrobiology. To make progress, we need to explore the Martian subsurface and analyze the atmospheres of the nearest terrestrial planets. Lovelock’s Gaian chemical equilibrium test for the presence of life is fundamental to these efforts. Both NASA and ESA are putting their astrobiological money into interferometric infrared spectroscopy to look for the traces of chemical disequilibrium in planetary atmospheres as the primary biomarker.

Lovelock thought that terrestrial life didn’t just passively produce chemical disequilibrium. There seemed to be some element of control or regulation. In 1978, he published a book called “Gaia” that described how the entire biosphere behaves like a living creature suggesting our Earth is alive.

Gaian science and astrobiology have very similar programs. Astrobiologists look at the stars and ask “What has life done to the planets out there and how can we recognize it?” Gaian scientists have been looking at the Earth for decades asking “What has terrestrial life done to our planet and how can we recognize it?” Astrobiology and Gaian science often remain separate fields of inquiry. Astrobiology attracts mainly astronomers and biologists, while Gaian science attracts atmospheric chemists, geologists and concerned ecologists.

The thin Martian atmosphere is mainly composed of carbon dioxide. Planetary scientists have studied the atmosphere of Mars for any signs of gases such as methane that could be generated by life. In this collection, Gaian scientists believe that over the past four and a half billion years, the Sun’s luminosity has increased by about 30 percent, but the temperature of the Earth’s surface doesn’t seem to have followed in step. Lovelock hypothesized that the biosphere regulates the Earth’s surface temperature. There are two obvious ways to do this: Regulate the albedo (light reflected by the planet) and/or regulate the abundances of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Lovelock invented the parable of Daisyworld to demonstrate that the biosphere could regulate the albedo. A nice Gaian extension of this idea is J. Scott Turner’s analysis of the thermo-regulation of termite colonies. So if a termite ecosystem can evolve to do it, why can’t a big one like the Earth? Thus, Gaia does what good scientific ideas are supposed to do. It extends and extrapolates a fundamental theory, from individuals to groups to ecosystems, up to the entire biosphere

The central debate of this book is: How can Gaia (Earth) be selfish? How can it do anything “for” itself? Will it protect itself from human destruction of the environment by causing earthquakes, earth lights, an ice age, or a great flood?

Tyler Volk’s book “Gaia’s Body”  “Gaia is Life in a Wasteworld of By-products.” He proposed that the atmosphere is one giant waste dump. Life produces wastes, and these wastes build up and affect the environment. They become intolerable for some forms of life, but then along come new forms of life who take advantage of these waste products. Volk’s point is that poop just happens. Thus the effects of the biosphere’s wastes are certainly “by” but not necessarily “for” the biosphere..

Volk suggests using cycling ratios to measure “by and for the biosphere” and to determine how beneficial for life something may be. A cycling ratio is the amount of an element cycling through the Earth and biosphere, divided by the amount that would be cycling through the Earth in the absence of life. Volk estimates the cycling ratio of carbon to be about 200 times more carbon flowing through the veins of Gaia than would be cycling through an Earth without life from plate tectonics and volcanism.

A collection of observations by the Earth Observing System flagship Terra were stitched together into a seamless true-color mosaic of every square kilometer (.386 square mile) of our planet.

Dorion Sagan and Jessica Hope Whiteside’s “Gradient Reduction Theory: Thermodynamics and the Purpose of Life” discussed the second law of thermodynamics as the purpose of life. Agnostics looking for purpose in their lives would do well to digest this chapter with Lovelock’s suggestion that agnostics worship Gaia to fill their religious vacuum. There is grandeur and universality in this thermodynamic view of life that can be applied to life anywhere in the universe.

I’d like to see Gaian scientists recognize that Gaia is part of a larger whole – that the Earth is not a closed system and that Gaia has a mother. We begin to wonder whether our Galaxy is a life form called Galactea.

Mars Dome

A dome like object was found in a Mars photo this week and the dome does have a metallic or glass like appearance. The object stands out from its environment, both because of its shine and its shape. It also could be a covering for a tunnel that leads below the ground to a base. Due to the threat of frequent bombardment by meteorites and low atmosphere Martians have likely built underground facilities. The huge tube system is likely supplemented by occasional domes that can provide light and entrance to the surface.

Due to the low gravity on Mars the humanoids may be quite tall.

NASA has said many times that making a base in one of the holes on Mars would be easier if they could cover it and then create an oxygen rich environment inside. If NASA has thought about it, then it’s probably because they saw aliens doing it.

Tennessee Frightening UFO Close Encounter

Silerton – On January 27, 2015. I was working doing my rural paper route at 5 AM, when I caught sight of a helicopter and sped up to see three military helicopters. We have a National Guard armory in town so I figured that’s all it was.  At 6:15 AM, I noticed two stars brighter than Venus traveling close together. Both objects were now in my windshield so I came to a complete stop as they crossed paths. Completely confused on what I was seeing I flashed my lights twice fast and a pause for about half a second then flashed a second time. Both objects stopped on a dime causing me panic. The object on the right blinked, then the left one blinked, and then together they blinked. I felt I needed to hide and parked where the trees blocked my view.  I started to text my wife and watched the battery go from 92% to 0 and shut off. The radio sound stopped working and could not pick up a single station. The radio static began to pulsate in the same sequence as the blinking lights. The object was now hovering just above me and I sped off southbound trying to go home.

The objects were stacked on top of each other and were flashing a beam down like a flashlight. The beam didn’t come all the way down to the ground as I turned east onto Montezuma Road with the objects behind me. I was scared and decided to take a back road to a more populated area.  I noticed a school bus and felt safer. I sped down this road for two miles and turned east on Sanford Road. I could see the object again through the trees and the radio still had no stations, then suddenly the radio popped back on. I could no longer see the craft and my phone booted up. Battery was 92% but my clock was in Eastern Time zone. After about a minute it changed back to Central time.

Holland’s Personal Spiritual Guide

Nancy Talbott BLT Research Team Inc. writes, “In 2013 Robbert’s “personal spiritual guide” since childhood re-appeared.  Her name is “Doya” and it happens that Robbert took photos of her with my camera back in 2008, so I was able to show her image”.

She gave Robbert a message that a new period had arrived “in which many special events will occur,” and within days 3 new crop circles appeared in the same night in the fields near Robbert. He then got another message that visitors to these circles should take apples into them….and that strange marks would appear on some of them.

Many people did take apples with them into the circles and did get these marks—people Robbert does not know and never met.  These marked apples are physical evidence that no reasonable person could attribute to Robbert’s direct intervention.

In 2013, in one case Robbert was picked up off his motorbike, apparently by a spinning “light-ball,” and then plopped down unconscious in a new Dutch crop circle. In 2000, Robbert watched a field form under a flashing UFO as it descended over the field.  In that maize circle anomalous “popped” or exploded, not cut lower maize stem nodes were found…just as they are regularly in maize circles in both the U.S. and Canada.  This is more evidence of exposure of the plants to intense bursts of heat:

There were also two spectacular Dutch maize circles in 2013. The night before this “Celtic Cross” appeared Robbert “saw” (in his mind’s eye”) both the design of the new circle and a UFO over this field, and drew a picture for me before going to the field to find it.

The “Celtic Cross” had a unique and spectacular “lay” and there were “expulsion cavities” (the same sort we have been seeing for years in maize circles in North America throughout the corn stalks as shown.

So this report includes both some scientifically-established evidence of anomalous changes to crop circle plants, now documented again in circles which occur around Robbert — as well as bizarre physical marks on apples.

Islamic State (ISIS) forced out of

Kobani

CNN — On Monday, Kurdish fighters declared that they have victory in Kobani the Syrian city on the border to Turkey that has released the city from the ISIS grip after 112 days of fighting. Two purported ISIS fighters interviewed by the Amak News Agency working in ISIS-held territory have given the same reason for the militants’ retreat from Kobani: the constant pummeling by coalition airstrikes. ISIS controlled area shown in Pink. The efforts of the Kurdish fighters — known as the YPG, or People’s Protection Units — on the ground were backed by an extensive campaign of around the clock airstrikes by the U.S.-led international coalition against ISIS. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a London-based opposition group, from October 6 to Monday the fighting for Kobani killed 979 ISIS combatants, 324 YPG fighters and 12 rebels backing the YPG.

ISIS spokesmen claim we have withdrawn from Kobani (Ayn Al-Islam) bit by bit, because of the airstrikes and deaths of a number of our brothers,” said one of the two fighters, his face covered apart from his eyes. He points to a scene of destruction behind him but vows that ISIS will persist, “and this is the message we send to Obama.”

He said ISIS forces had raided 360 villages around Kobani, from which the people “ran away like rats.” But the reason behind their withdrawal from the city, he said, “is that we no longer had places to hold there. We were inside (Kobami) and we occupied more than 70%, but the airstrikes did not leave any building standing, they destroyed everything.”

“I swear by Allah, their planes did not leave the air, day and night; they did airstrikes all day and night. They targeted everything. They even attacked motorcycles; they have not left a building standing.

Rich versus Poor

  Harry S. Dent writes, Oxfam just came out with a report that shows that the top 1% in the world have controlled between 46% and 48% of the wealth since 2000, almost as extreme as in the U.S. at 51%. Both of these trends have been rising since 2008 due to quantitative easing (QE) policies.

The top 80 billionaires control as much wealth as the bottom 50% or about 3.5 billion people. This staggering inequality is proving to be a powerful catalyst to the current power struggle that’s playing out globally.

Arizona Lights+

 Chandler – I filmed two segments of something large and apparently machine-like in the sky near my house near Phoenix, with 54X zoom Panasonic camcorder. The segments were a minute long. Thanks to MUFON CMS

California Lights

  Barstow – I was on holyday with a friend of mine and was driving back from Las Vegas and looking around the landscape, and told to my friend “Look over there, that cloud is strange, take a photo“.

I hope that anyone can tell me what it could be since I checked many pages about cloud formations and no one has this form.  Excuse me for my bad English, but I´m from Argentina. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Anderson – I was using the Robert Bingham summoning technique, and this purple orb appeared under Mt. Shasta on January 31, 2015.  It increased in brightness and then decreased. It was a purple/violet color.

The whole experience lasted a few minutes. I do not recommend summoning, because we don’t know what we are dealing with. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Colorado Lights

Denver — — A UFO was witnessed by me and at least four others on January 30th, 2015, at 8:57 PM.  I served as a helicopter crewman and aviation warfare specialist in the Navy for six years with 900 flight hours where I had to constantly identify lights in the distance. My friend who served with me also saw the UFO. I did my best to take pictures and video on my IPhone 4. There were five of us that saw the craft while attending the Red Rocks Amphitheater Concert.

The UFO had a circle of eight steady glowing lights; six were green, and two red. It seemed to be a solid object as the lights moved together, as though they were all attached to one craft. The red lights were always at the aft of the craft whenever it moved in a direction. The craft hovered and then began moving in patterns, stopping into a hover again at different positions as if it was checking out the event. The craft was able to change direction, speed, and altitude as smoothly as moving a mouse on a computer screen. It did not appear to be affected by gravity or wind resistance. There was also no observable pitch, roll or yaw when the craft changed directions like a conventional aircraft. It was 1000 to 1500 feet above the ground about the size of a P-3 Orion four engine aircraft. It came in and out of sight for several minutes before it vanished.  I don’t know any aircraft as fast or as maneuverable as what we saw. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Aurora – On January 29, 2015, a light moved across the horizon from left to right that was captured on video next to pole. The light then disappeared. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Florida Objects

Titusville – I am submitting the attached photos because I unknowingly captured an odd looking object in the sky when photographing a bird on January 26, 2015. I was taking pictures at the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge with two friends. My friend loves Kingfishers and asked me to capture it. None of us saw anything at the time. When I was reviewing my photos later that day, nothing on the first two but this odd artifact is in three photos taken a second apart.  It is not on later images. These were taken with a Canon DSLR D70 camera with a 100-400mm zoom lens with a UV filter.  Thanks to MUFON CMS

Georgia Cigar

Moultrie – I know aircraft having spent six years in the military working with Special Operations and recently worked as an Army contractor seeing every type aircraft. On February 2, 2015, I stepped out to see a small silent cigar shaped silhouette with four bright lights heading south in a perfect straight line. The two lights in the middle were bigger and brighter. I then noticed the Blackhawk helicopter that I could clearly see the tail light on. Halfway through the sighting the two middle lights on the cigar got extremely bright for about 10 seconds and then dimmed. It was odd because the cigar flew in such a precise route and I couldn’t tell what type this aircraft could possibly be.  Thanks to MUFON CMS

Maryland Lights

Chester – I left my residence in Queenstown for dinner on January 27, 2015, driving on Highway 50 West, when I noticed a few bright lights in the sky as my watched beeped 9:00 PM.

At the 50W/301 split I noticed that the orbs would brighten and then dim.  I decided to try and get closer. I took the exit for Piney Narrows Road that goes under the Kent Narrows Bridge and puts you on Main Street in Chester. I was able to get this image of four of the lights. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Jersey Lights and Triangle

Keyport — around 7:30 p.m. my uncle and I stepped outside and we noticed a large bright moon and a bronze or gold orb-like object next to the moon. I knew this object didn’t belong and to my amazement it blinked out only to appear on the other side of the Moon.

I had my phone in my hand and immediately started to snap pictures. I captured four photos and switched to video. To my amazement the object reappeared moving slowly north and then with great speed and unnatural movement ascended towards space and disappeared. I was completely stunned and scared. I hope from the images somebody knows what this object was. Thanks to MUFON CMS

 Basking Ridge – On January 27, 2015 at 6:50 PM, I was driving west on Spring Valley Boulevard just under the low cloud cover, I observed a very large, black triangular object with flashing red, white and blue lights. It was moving at a very high speed and was not making the sounds that a low flying airplane would. I kept losing it among tall trees and houses, but I did follow it long enough (and saw it enough times) to see it make a sharp turn downward and to the left. Its lights were flashing brightly and appeared to alternate from red, to white, to blue. I parked in front of my house and ran from my car just as the craft disappeared from view above and behind the trees of the Bonnie Brae School. It was completely silent and there were no other witnesses. I looked for the craft to reappear and sadly was not able to get any photos of it. Due to its shape, the rapidly flashing lights and the sharp turns it took, I was completely sure that what I saw was not an airplane. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Mexico Triangle of Lights

Santa Ana Pueblo — I was staying at the Hyatt Tamaya on business on January 15, 2015, and was attracted by the beautiful sunset skies. About 7:05 PM, I took a photo to send to my wife using my iPhone 4s. They lights were not visible to the naked eye, and only showed up when I checked the photos.

I am a licensed pilot, with instrument rating, and a former amateur astronomer, so I’m accustomed to observing the skies and noticing details.  The lights did not appear in any other photo, either before or after. There were no other point light sources in the area that might have been bright enough to cause reflections in the lens.  Thanks to MUFON CMS

Tennessee Jumping Lights

 Franklin – My cousin and I were sitting outside at night in July 2014, and he said that he saw a glowing light that moving around like a fly in the sky.

I saw it soon after and we went to the field that it was flying over silently. It was like it saw us and moved right over our heads at a speed I have never seen before. Here is the best photo we got of it.

Texas Double Orbs

Hale Center – My partner and I were working when he asked me to look to see two bright objects in the sky on January 24, 2015. The lights were real close to each other and my partner said. “They look like two circles side by side making unusual movements that aircraft can’t make.” As we watched it sped up, turned, and slowed down so I took some pictures. Another person comes and he is also baffled as to what the flying object is.

I ran to the front of my work place to get a better photo as it vanishes. We are sure we saw something incredible.  It has changed my thoughts since we have never seen anything like it. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Ball

Bremerton – We were having a family fireworks show in the yard, so my brother took photos of all the fireworks with his phone. We were watching a very bright white, low to the ground crackling fireworks on an eight foot plywood table on saw horses. My brother called us over to show us his images and asked what the heck we thought the red ball was? None of us saw anything but the firework in action on the table. It is baffling; you can see a whisk of smoke rising toward the red object.

If you look carefully you can see the size of the object pulls at the ambient smoke that was in the air, like it rushed into the photo at just that moment. It is a complete mystery as to what and why that object showed in the photo. It was completely out of our visual detection.

Argentina Disc

Villa Ocampo, Santa Fe – The strange object was captured by fishermen who were in the Paraná River area on January 5, 2015. A UFO again surprised the fishermen from the village Villa Ocampo who already witnessed on several occasions these alien’ apparitions in the province of Santa Fe, says Fernandez Sofy. A group of native fishermen in one arm of the Paraná River saw a UFO again at the parador “Phoenix”, to the coast of Rio.

It is not the first time they seen these phenomena in the Santa Fe area
Locals confirm that these types of occurrences are common. A few months ago strangely mutilated animals missing their jaws were found in Sombrerito. The same farmers report they have increasingly seen luminous objects. Aruba Cylinder

My mom went on vacation back in 2011, and she loves taking pictures. It wasn’t until she had gotten home from vacation and she was showing me her pictures that we noticed a bright cigar shaped light in front of the clouds. She had no idea what she had taken in the picture. We know it’s not the moon or any craft that we have ever seen. When you zoom in all the way you can notice an additional much smaller object.

We lost the picture but recently found it, and that’s why we are submitting it. I don’t know if this is a real UFO, but it’s something that I cannot come up with a reasonable explanation for. It is clearly NOT the moon because it’s in front of the clouds. My mother does not recall seeing the object. A much smaller object is visible to the left. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Australia Huge UFO

Brisbane — In July 2001, I was out fishing one night alone in my sailboat when I witnessed a very large UFO, at close range, for over an hour. There was 90% cloud cover with no moon I was drifting because of no wind, and reclining in the cockpit at 2 AM. I noticed 10 km south, three solid bright red lights in a triangular formation. They were approaching my position at 15 knots and 300 meters altitude. As they came closer, I noticed another three red lights following, 4 km. behind. Looking around I saw two more sets of red lights, equal-distant to the others. I was between several small islands, and can accurately report the UFO’s dimensions as being 5 km. across. As it slowly passed directly overhead, its underside was illuminated from the lights of a city 40 km. away. It was a massive disc, with turrets, antennae, and one very large brilliant white spotlight in the middle. It was making a low buzzing noise, and took 30 minutes to pass overhead. I could plainly see it was an upside down saucer shape. I don’t drink or do drugs, this is as real as it gets. There was nothing in the media even though it passed over the International airport on its way north. I am a very experienced seaman/bushman, and this is not my only encounter, although the largest so far. Thanks to MUFON CMS

The eyewitness states: “The camera I used was a Sony D C R-T R V 530 Digital Camera with IR 850 Infra red optical fitted filter with daylight capture and super night shot position on!” I am very happy to see them and capture them on my camera! This is my life now!! I have no FEAR, and NO LIMIT!!

Canada Lights

Fredericton – I noticed this light in the sky on several nights and on January 21, 2015. It was a clear night and it was pulsing red, blue, white, yellow and green. I’ve taken several pictures, but last night was the first time I’ve got anything special. I live near the Fredericton Airport and know it’s not normal aircraft.

I served 27 years in the Canadian Air Force and I’m familiar with flight characteristics. This object maintains a specific position for two hours at times. It’s not there every clear night so I know it’s not normal.  I have about 50 pictures of this object. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Denmark Light

Nyborg  – I went out for a cigarette and saw a big, reddish light on January 24, 2015, .and got my iPhone, and took pictures. The light was gone a couple of minutes later. France Triangle

A major French government official has said that it was a UFO that hovered over their nuclear plants. In the fall of 2014, it was reported that there were 13 to 18 incidents of French nuclear power plants being targets of surveillance by UFOs. The sketch looks very much like a typical triangle UFO with a red light in the middle. The story is in French but translated:
One of them was described in a presentation by Director Pascal Pezzani on the security status of his Blayais Nuclear Power Plant in southwestern France. He told the audience that there definitely was something flying over the facility that was not a drone and was a UFO.

Italy Red Ball

Predappio – On January 26, 2015, I was in my car going to work when I saw a very bright red ball brighter than any other planet or star visible..  The ball was about 2 km in height and 5 km away. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Siracusa — I am submitting this event since the actual witness gave me permission to post the report. “One year ago, on January 29, 2014, while opening the front door to a salesman, I witnessed three disc shaped objects in the sky. I estimated their distance to be about 500 meters from me. They flew in a zigzag manner flying north. The entire event lasted not more than two minutes. The salesman, my spouse and I are witnesses to the event.” I submit two photos of the discs and a map of where the sighting took place. I reported the event to the local authorities, but have not heard back from them or anyone else.” The discs appear in the center of both photos and are small in size until the photos are magnified. Tijuana — This orb was caught on January 23, 2015, over Tijuana and has been constantly rotating

New Zealand Orb

 Ohope Beach – On January 22, 2015, I was taking pictures of the beach area when I spotted the dark object in the sky.

The object did not move at all, and just vanished after a few minutes! Thanks to MUFON CMS’

Slovenia Disc

Ljubljana – I was smoking on my balcony and just looking up at the sky in that moment on January 28, 2015, I saw what looked like a comet. It was moving way too slow in a horizontal line to be a comet. I’m questioning what that object was as I’m confused as it vanished after a while. Thanks to MUFON CMS

UK/England – Saucer

 Newton Abbot Devon – On January 27, 2015, I managed to capture this flying saucer with my Sony H300 20 megapixel digital camera.

The flying saucer was clearly visible and had a metallic look to it. The saucer was rocking backward and forward in a strange rocking motion.

The saucer then straightened out and flew off at great speed and out of sight. The data was set wrong on the camera as the photo was taken at ‏‎12:53 PM GMT at Newton Abbot Devon. Thanks to William Puckett, Director Http://www.UFOsnw.com

February 6, 2015 - More than anywhere known to man, Europa, Jupiter’s icy moon, shows strong evidence that extraterrestrial life may exist. This week, NASA is one step closer to exploring it.

This week, the space agency proposed its $18.5 billion budget for next year, allotting $30 million for a robotic mission to freezing sphere.

“This is a big deal,” said Casey Dreier, the director of advocacy at the Planetary Society, a nonprofit that lobbied for more 15 years for this mission, as Wired reported. “This budget basically fills in the missing piece that will enable this mission to go forward.”

Discovered four centuries ago by Galileo, Europa is one of Jupiter’s many moons. It’s about 485 million miles from the sun and about the size of our own moon.

Europa is covered in an icy shell. Beneath that shell, scientists believe there is subsurface ocean larger than any on Earth.

“Jupiter is so strong that it provides enough friction energy to keep water liquid — even as the water on the surface hits incredibly low temperatures and freezes,” The Washington Post’s Rachel Feltman wrote. “It’s possible that a salty ocean is able to interact with the rock of the sea floor, which could provide the kind of chemical energy that begets life.”

Scientists have dreamed of a mission to Europa for a long time, but sending a robotic probe would require one that could withstand Jupiter’s harsh radiation. “What we’ve been looking at is a multiple flyby mission,” Bob Pappalardo, the mission’s project scientist, told Wired.

If the budget is approved by Congress, the mission could launch by the mid 2020s, Wired reported, and wouldn’t get to the moon until 2030.

“If we were to discover some kind of microbe on Mars, or something alive in the oceans of Europa, it would change the world,” scientist Bill Nye told The Post. “It would change human history. Everyone in the world would feel differently about what it meant to be alive.”

Look at this cool disk that was discovered this week in Siberia. Without an analysis of its material, we are left wanting. This object does resemble an alien drone, a small disk that is sent out to monitor an area, but lighting can bring one down. I have never seen one this old before. Also it could be a dropa disk. An ancient stone disk with alien information about their culture and life stored in the disk. Such dropa disks were confiscated by the Chinese Government and hidden from view. This disk needs to be tested, not just for what its made from, but for any data that could be stored in it. SCW

UFO files shed light on a bygone era in New England

WASHINGTON — James Louis Warsher and a friend were driving across the Anderson Memorial Bridge in Harvard Square when they noticed a dull gray elliptical vessel tinted with muted yellow light descending from the sky. It was around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, 1964, and the two were among 11 Bostonians who reported UFO sightings that night.

Air Force investigators said the object was just an advertising plane. They confirmed it by cross-checking the aircraft’s flight plan with civilian reports of when and where they saw UFO.

Air Force files from a 1952 incident in which a Salem man captured photographs of four bright lights in the sky, which might have been the reflection of lamps in a window.

But the Air Force’s official explanation — here you may cue the “X-Files’’ theme song — couldn’t answer one issue: When Warsher and his friend saw the UFO, it was flying within sight of the same plane the investigators purported it to be.

This story is one of more than 12,000 chronicled by Project Blue Book, the Air Force’s UFO investigation program that ran from 1947 to 1969. The once-classified files spent most of the past 40 years as microfilm reels in the National Archives, but they have become more accessible to the general public in recent years through Fold3, a commercial database of government and military documents.

The database includes 4,429 reports from New England — 1,910 from Massachusetts — though others from the region might not be properly sorted. Readers can sort the files by date, state, and when they were added to the website.

The pages of witness testimonies, official memos, maps, and flight patterns bring to life a pivotal period in American history, when a wealthier but war-shaken United States turned its attention to technological threats from the Soviet Union and beyond. The collection reveals how the nation’s military bureaucracy painstakingly documented what amounted to a cultural phenomenon of the Cold War.

“It’s a part of America’s comparatively recent history that people have forgotten, if indeed they ever knew it,” said Nick Pope, a California researcher and freelance journalist who investigated UFO sightings in the United Kingdom for the British government. “For years, actually, the government took this very seriously, and I think people quite often are skeptical and cynical about UFOs, probably because of the treatment it gets from Hollywood or even shows like ‘South Park.’ ”

A team of Air Force investigators conducted Project Blue Book out of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, taking in reports of UFO sightings from across the country and churning out explanations for what civilians and military personnel witnessed. Investigators dismissed the vast majority of these cases as aircraft, balloons, weather inversions, or heavenly bodies.

Project Blue Book was conducted in an era defined by technological innovation and immense paranoia. It ran from two years after the atomic bombings in Japan until the year men walked on the moon, and peaked with the tensest years of the Cold War. With Americans on the lookout for Soviet or Martian invaders, recorded sightings range from innocent mistakes by well-meaning people to bizarre reports from military officials.

The military preoccupation with both UFOs and covert planes has roots in a pre-World War II effort to bolster aerial photography, said Donald Welzenbach, a retired CIA officer who co-wrote a 1998 report that attributed many UFO sightings to American U-2 spy planes.

“All of these little people you don’t know about,” he said, “these guys were brilliant.”

Not every alleged UFO sighting was secret military technology. A Salem man in 1952 captured stunning photographs of four bright lights in the sky, which might have been the reflection of lamps in a window. In 1965, a man near Pease Air Force Base in Portsmouth, N.H., mistook a NASA satellite for an alien spaceship.

Other reports are still puzzling. On Feb. 5, 1950, seven people in Teaticket, a community on Cape Cod, saw two cylindrical objects float in the sky one evening. One of the objects dropped a fireball, and the pair quickly vanished. Seven months later, two F-86 pilots flying out of Otis Air Force Base picked up an aircraft on their radar going 1,200 miles per hour. The pilots never saw it, and Air Force personnel said the mystery craft made a turn so tight at a speed so high, the pilot would have endured forces sufficient to render some people unconscious.

Even though the Air Force deemed only a small portion of the reports unexplainable, UFO researcher Stanton Friedman believes Project Blue Book barely scratches the surface of American UFO investigations. Friedman claims “the Air Force has gotten away with carefully worded misrepresentation,” of its interest in the aircraft.

The Air Force, which declined to comment for this article, shut down Project Blue Book in 1969 after the agency found no threats to national security, no novel technology, and no evidence of extraterrestrial origin from the unknown aircraft. The Red Scare is history, and scientists have now turned to distant icy moons in the search for extraterrestrial life. Still, the unanswered queries from a bygone era linger.

“I wish the government would get back into this,” said Pope, “because it’s one of the biggest and most profound questions of all time.’’

The 20 big questions in science

From the nature of the universe (that's if there is only one) to the purpose of dreams, there are lots of things we still don't know – but we might do soon. A new book seeks some answers

1 What is the universe made of?

Astronomers face an embarrassing conundrum: they don't know what 95% of the universe is made of. Atoms, which form everything we see around us, only account for a measly 5%. Over the past 80 years it has become clear that the substantial remainder is comprised of two shadowy entities – dark matter and dark energy. The former, first discovered in 1933, acts as an invisible glue, binding galaxies and galaxy clusters together. Unveiled in 1998, the latter is pushing the universe's expansion to ever greater speeds. Astronomers are closing in on the true identities of these unseen interlopers.

2 How did life begin?

Four billion years ago, something started stirring in the primordial soup. A few simple chemicals got together and made biology – the first molecules capable of replicating themselves appeared. We humans are linked by evolution to those early biological molecules. But how did the basic chemicals present on early Earth spontaneously arrange themselves into something resembling life? How did we get DNA? What did the first cells look like? More than half a century after the chemist Stanley Miller proposed his "primordial soup" theory, we still can't agree about what happened. Some say life began in hot pools near volcanoes, others that it was kick-started by meteorites hitting the sea.

3 Are we alone in the universe?

Perhaps not. Astronomers have been scouring the universe for places where water worlds might have given rise to life, from Europa and Mars in our solar system to planets many light years away. Radio telescopes have been eavesdropping on the heavens and in 1977 a signal bearing the potential hallmarks of an alien message was heard. Astronomers are now able to scan the atmospheres of alien worlds for oxygen and water. The next few decades will be an exciting time to be an alien hunter with up to 60bn potentially habitable planets in our Milky Way alone.

4 What makes us human?

Just looking at your DNA won't tell you – the human genome is 99% identical to a chimpanzee's and, for that matter, 50% to a banana's. We do, however, have bigger brains than most animals – not the biggest, but packed with three times as many neurons as a gorilla (86bn to be exact). A lot of the things we once thought distinguishing about us – language, tool-use, recognising yourself in the mirror – are seen in other animals. Perhaps it's our culture – and its subsequent effect on our genes (and vice versa) – that makes the difference. Scientists think that cooking and our mastery of fire may have helped us gain big brains. But it's possible that our capacity for co-operation and skills trade is what really makes this a planet of humans and not apes.

5 What is consciousness?

We're still not really sure. We do know that it's to do with different brain regions networked together rather than a single part of the brain. The thinking goes that if we figure out which bits of the brain are involved and how the neural circuitry works, we'll figure out how consciousness emerges, something that artificial intelligence and attempts to build a brain neuron by neuron may help with. The harder, more philosophical, question is why anything should be conscious in the first place. A good suggestion is that by integrating and processing lots of information, as well as focusing and blocking out rather than reacting to the sensory inputs bombarding us, we can distinguish between what's real and what's not and imagine multiple future scenarios that help us adapt and survive.

6 Why do we dream?

We spend around a third of our lives sleeping. Considering how much time we spend doing it, you might think we'd know everything about it. But scientists are still searching for a complete explanation of why we sleep and dream. Subscribers to Sigmund Freud's views believed dreams were expressions of unfulfilled wishes – often sexual – while others wonder whether dreams are anything but the random firings of a sleeping brain. Animal studies and advances in brain imaging have led us to a more complex understanding that suggests dreaming could play a role in memory, learning and emotions. Rats, for example, have been shown to replay their waking experiences in dreams, apparently helping them to solve complex tasks such as navigating mazes.

7 Why is there stuff?

You really shouldn't be here. The "stuff" you're made of is matter, which has a counterpart called antimatter differing only in electrical charge. When they meet, both disappear in a flash of energy. Our best theories suggest that the big bang created equal amounts of the two, meaning all matter should have since encountered its antimatter counterpart, scuppering them both and leaving the universe awash with only energy. Clearly nature has a subtle bias for matter otherwise you wouldn't exist. Researchers are sifting data from experiments like the Large Hadron Collider trying to understand why, with supersymmetry and neutrinos the two leading contenders.

8 Are there other universes?

Our universe is a very unlikely place. Alter some of its settings even slightly and life as we know it becomes impossible. In an attempt to unravel this "fine-tuning" problem, physicists are increasingly turning to the notion of other universes. If there is an infinite number of them in a "multiverse" then every combination of settings would be played out somewhere and, of course, you find yourself in the universe where you are able to exist. It may sound crazy, but evidence from cosmology and quantum physics is pointing in that direction.

9 Where do we put all the carbon?

For the past couple of hundred years, we've been filling the atmosphere with carbon dioxide – unleashing it by burning fossil fuels that once locked away carbon below the Earth's surface. Now we have to put all that carbon back, or risk the consequences of a warming climate. But how do we do it? One idea is to bury it in old oil and gas fields. Another is to hide it away at the bottom of the sea. But we don't know how long it will stay there, or what the risks might be. Meanwhile, we have to protect natural, long-lasting stores of carbon, such as forests and peat bogs, and start making energy in a way that doesn't belch out even more.

10 How do we get more energy from the sun?

Dwindling supplies of fossil fuels mean we're in need of a new way to power our planet. Our nearest star offers more than one possible solution. We're already harnessing the sun's energy to produce solar power. Another idea is to use the energy in sunlight to split water into its component parts: oxygen, and hydrogen, which could provide a clean fuel for cars of the future. Scientists are also working on an energy solution that depends on recreating the processes going on inside stars themselves – they're building a nuclear fusion machine. The hope is that these solutions can meet our energy needs.

11 What's so weird about prime numbers?

The fact you can shop safely on the internet is thanks to prime numbers – those digits that can only be divided by themselves and one. Public key encryption – the heartbeat of internet commerce – uses prime numbers to fashion keys capable of locking away your sensitive information from prying eyes. And yet, despite their fundamental importance to our everyday lives, the primes remain an enigma. An apparent pattern within them – the Riemann hypothesis – has tantalised some of the brightest minds in mathematics for centuries. However, as yet, no one has been able to tame their weirdness. Doing so might just break the internet.

12 How do we beat bacteria?

Antibiotics are one of the miracles of modern medicine. Sir Alexander Fleming's Nobel prize-winning discovery led to medicines that fought some of the deadliest diseases and made surgery, transplants and chemotherapy possible. Yet this legacy is in danger – in Europe around 25,000 people die each year of multidrug-resistant bacteria. Our drug pipeline has been sputtering for decades and we've been making the problem worse through overprescription and misuse of antibiotics – an estimated 80% of US antibiotics goes to boosting farm animal growth. Thankfully, the advent of DNA sequencing is helping us discover antibiotics we never knew bacteria could produce. Alongside innovative, if gross-sounding, methods such as transplanting "good" bacteria from fecal matter, and the search for new bacteria deep in the oceans, we may yet keep abreast in this arms race with organisms 3bn years our senior.

13 Can computers keep getting faster?

Our tablets and smartphones are mini-computers that contain more computing power than astronauts took to the moon in 1969. But if we want to keep on increasing the amount of computing power we carry around in our pockets, how are we going to do it? There are only so many components you can cram on to a computer chip. Has the limit been reached, or is there another way to make a computer? Scientists are considering new materials, such as atomically thin carbon – graphene – as well as new systems, such as quantum computing.

14 Will we ever cure cancer?

The short answer is no. Not a single disease, but a loose group of many hundreds of diseases, cancer has been around since the dinosaurs and, being caused by haywire genes, the risk is hardwired into all of us. The longer we live, the more likely something might go wrong, in any number of ways. For cancer is a living thing – ever-evolving to survive. Yet though incredibly complicated, through genetics we're learning more and more about what causes it, how it spreads and getting better at treating and preventing it. And know this: up to half of all cancers – 3.7m a year – are preventable; quit smoking, drink and eat moderately, stay active, and avoid prolonged exposure to the midday sun.

15 When can I have a robot butler?

Robots can already serve drinks and carry suitcases. Modern robotics can offer us a "staff" of individually specialised robots: they ready your Amazon orders for delivery, milk your cows, sort your email and ferry you between airport terminals. But a truly "intelligent" robot requires us to crack artificial intelligence. The real question is whether you'd leave a robotic butler alone in the house with your granny. And with Japan aiming to have robotic aides caring for its elderly by 2025, we're thinking hard about it now.

16 What's at the bottom of the ocean?

Ninety-five per cent of the ocean is unexplored. What's down there? In 1960, Don Walsh and Jacques Piccard travelled seven miles down, to the deepest part of the ocean, in search of answers. Their voyage pushed the boundaries of human endeavour but gave them only a glimpse of life on the seafloor. It's so difficult getting to the bottom of the ocean that for the most part we have to resort to sending unmanned vehicles as scouts. The discoveries we've made so far – from bizarre fish such as the barreleye, with its transparent head, to a potential treatment for Alzheimer's made by crustaceans – are a tiny fraction of the strange world hidden below the waves.

17 What's at the bottom of a black hole?

It's a question we don't yet have the tools to answer. Einstein's general relativity says that when a black hole is created by a dying, collapsing massive star, it continues caving in until it forms an infinitely small, infinitely dense point called a singularity. But on such scales quantum physics probably has something to say too. Except that general relativity and quantum physics have never been the happiest of bedfellows – for decades they have withstood all attempts to unify them. However, a recent idea – called M-Theory – may one day explain the unseen centre of one of the universe's most extreme creations.

18 Can we live for ever?

We live in an amazing time: we're starting to think of "ageing" not as a fact of life, but a disease that can be treated and possibly prevented, or at least put off for a very long time. Our knowledge of what causes us to age – and what allows some animals to live longer than others – is expanding rapidly. And though we haven't quite worked out all the details, the clues we are gathering about DNA damage, the balance of ageing, metabolism and reproductive fitness, plus the genes that regulate this, are filling out a bigger picture, potentially leading to drug treatments. But the real question is not how we're going to live longer but how we are going to live well longer. And since many diseases, such as diabetes and cancer, are diseases of ageing, treating ageing itself could be the key.

19 How do we solve the population problem?

The number of people on our planet has doubled to more than 7 billion since the 1960s and it is expected that by 2050 there will be at least 9 billion of us. Where are we all going to live and how are we going to make enough food and fuel for our ever-growing population? Maybe we can ship everyone off to Mars or start building apartment blocks underground. We could even start feeding ourselves with lab-grown meat. These may sound like sci-fi solutions, but we might have to start taking them more seriously.

20 Is time travel possible

Time travellers already walk among us. Thanks to Einstein's theory of special relativity, astronauts orbiting on the International Space Station experience time ticking more slowly. At that speed the effect is minuscule, but ramp up the velocity and the effect means that one day humans might travel thousands of years into the future. Nature seems to be less fond of people going the other way and returning to the past, however some physicists have concocted an elaborate blueprint for a way to do it using wormholes and spaceships. It could even be used to hand yourself a present on Christmas Day, or answer some of the many questions that surround the universe's great unknowns.

Video shows strange glowing cloud rapidly changing shape

A video posted on YouTube of a cloud with a strange glow quickly changing shape has gone viral. Some have speculated that the phenomenon is due to the government’s High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), others have suggested it is due to ice crystals while others believe UFOs may be to blame.

HAARP is often blamed for atmospheric anomalies and natural disasters. It is a jointly funded project to study the ionosphere funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The program’s focus is to identify new technologies for radio communications and surveillance. Among other things, HAARP has also been blamed for earthquakes, weather modification and mind control.

The Alaska Dispatch is skeptical of these claims, but does feel the project can do more to dispel these rumors. They write, “What makes HAARP susceptible to conspiracy criticism is simple. The facility doesn’t open its doors in the same way as other federally-funded research facilities around the country, and it doesn’t go to great efforts to explain the importance of its research to the public.”

According to The Telegraph, the most likely explanation is that the “dancing cloud” phenomenon is due to the refraction of light through ice crystals. They explain, “These crystals act as prisms and bend the light that passes through them, often prompting a parhelion, a similar phenomenon more commonly known as a ‘sun dog.’”

Large Bright UFO Moves Across the Sky Over Hills in Kinlochard, Scotland

Don't be put off by this film just showing a light moving across the sky. Try to watch all the way through and you will definitely be discounting planes, lanterns etc and like me will be questioning what this large, very bright object could have been.......Read on

What is this? YOU decide. Filmed 5.25pm on 1st Feb 2015 from Kinlochard, Scotland, looking South South West. Very bright large white (reddish) light moves across sky above hills. Filmed for over fifteen minutes this was definitely not a Chinese lantern (too large, too bright and too long in the sky), aircraft (No flight path and too low and slow) or helicopter (would have seen usual flashing green/red lights and heard something but object was silent plus the way it moved tells me not this type of aircraft). It moved slowly and silently. It went behind forest trees on top of the high hills which are approx one mile away and still appeared to be quite a bit further than this but even though it was some distance the size from where I was filming still appeared to be large and very bright. Judging distance and approximate location I would say that it was going over or flying close to Loch Lomond (Here is a rough idea where it may have been flying over: Grid ref – NS 39750-97783, Latitude:56.145741 Longitude: -4.5809916).

Although it flew over a remote area of the Trossachs National Park others must have seen it and probably with a better view. Would be good to know what this was and if anybody else got to see it. Could it be the planet Venus, as according to astronomy intel this planet was about at this time also? So to re-cap, the object was large, was
emitting a very bright white light with some red light also seen and looked at times to be pulsating. It moved silently and slowly and although I had filmed it for about fifteen minutes it would have been in the sky for longer but I had only noticed it as I was closing the curtains which is when I began to film.
There is some blurring and camera shake on the film as I set the camera to manual focus and also to keep continuity of recording I carry on filming as I go upstairs to get a better view of the object.

Why Are Aliens Visiting Earth? The Answer May Surprise You

UFOs Have Been Visiting Earth For a Long Time, Why?

Most people believe that extraterrestrials are visiting Earth to monitor the progress and behavior of humanity.  To a certain extent that might be true, but it is much more likely that they are periodically coming here to examine the health of Planet Earth.
After all, even our scientist are beginning to come around to the idea that planet Earth is a living sentient being. In the greater cosmos, human and extraterrestrial life may be fairly common. On the other hand what little we know about other planets, and the universe at large, indicate that our home planet is an extremely desirable and rare occurrence within the cosmos.

People have wondered for a long time why ET has not made their presence known. If we are not the primary reason why they are here, why would they disclose their existence. The survival of mankind is probably very far down their list of priorities. For that matter survival of humanity may not even be on their list of priorities. Have you ever stopped to consider that Planet Earth has more value to an alien race if there were no humans inhabiting the planet.

Everything we need to sustain life has been provided for us on Planet Earth. We are blessed with an abundance of water, sunshine, breathable air, enough land and food to house and feed 7 billion people. We share Earth with  millions of species of plant, animal and insect life, each playing an important role in the ecosystem, that in itself is remarkable. It makes our planet an astonishing place, a very rare and unusual gem among the stars.

Those that follow UFOs closely, know the largest wave of UFO sightings in modern time coincided with the discovery of splitting the atom and the use of Atomic Energy during WWII. In other words, when we discovered how to manipulate nuclear energy we triggered an unprecedented wave of UFO sightings.

There are well documented cases of UFOs hovering over nuclear military facilities in both the United States and Russia. Reliable witnesses state that the craft were tampering with the nuclear armament control systems. This behavior by UFOs and their occupants was not an accident and it was clearly a message to humanity.

Many people 'want' to believe that if things get out of control and WWIII gets under way our extraterrestrial brethren will step in and save humanity, nothing could be further from the truth. ET may step in and save Planet Earth, but they will have little time and no admiration for a species that never understood how good they had it in the first place. 

 

There is little doubt that Earth's oceans, forest and species of plants and animals are worth saving.
The living, breathing, self-regulating sentient being that we are living on is at the core of their mission. 

 

UFOs have a long and documented history of appearing just after natural or man-made catastrophic events. There is not much question that they are keeping their eye on the prize we call Earth.

UFO Government Control Group?

In my book “UFOs, Area 51, and Government Informants” I spent a lot of time looking at the evidence that backed the idea of an inside control group known as MJ-12. 
The idea of this MJ-12 group started to appear in the early 1980s, through a researcher known as Bill Moore. Moore had written a book known as the Roswell Incident which sold many copies and was the forerunner of the modern obsession with the Roswell crash. 
Days after Moore released the book he was contacted by US intelligence which started to tell him the story of MJ-12, the super-secret group that had been established by President Harry Truman to deal with the extraterrestrial presence on earth. 
Moore was fed information by both USAF master sergeant Richard Doty and a second person attached to the CIA that Bill Moore gave the code name Falcon. 
Later 10 more intelligence sources would come forward to provide information to Moore. It is believed that some of these may actually have been ex-CIA directors.

The Moore involvement with the MJ-12 story culminated in a document release made in 1987 by Moore and two other researchers by the names of Jamie Shandera and Stanton Friedman. The document released, marked Top Secret Restricted, purported to be a briefing document presented to then President-elect Dwight Eisenhower about the 12-person group of high level scientists and military officials who made up the elite Top Secret MJ-12 committee.

In “UFOs, MJ-12 and Government Informants” I wrote that I believed the document had been a leak of true and false material that had been authorized by present day MJ-12 type group to desensitize the public about how the flying saucer problem had been handled by the White House.

I also wrote that although some of the material in the document did not appear to be correct (like the failure to mention that there was a live alien recovered at Roswell), there was lots of evidence that indicated that this mythical MJ-12 group mentioned in the document had existed. The reason for altering the document was to avoid breaking the law by releasing classified material and to protect the overall UFO program that needed to remain classified. The evidence indicating that there actually was an MJ-12 group included the following items;

• My co-author T. Scott Crain had come across a woman (USAF NCO) who had been on a 1979 declassification team in Okinawa, Japan. While declassifying documents in a General’s office the team came across a document that she told us may not have been the same document but appeared to contain all the same material. This woman was hassled when we first released the book in 1991.
• In conversations with the former President of Penn State University he confirmed the MJ-12 group. His first confirmation came in 1987 just days after Moore made the MJ-12 document public. Walker said, “Yes, I know of MJ-12. I have known of them for 40 years. I believe that you’re chasing after and fighting with windmills!!”
• Moya Lear, the wife of Lear Jet inventor Bill Lear, phoned her friend four-star General James Doolittle to ask if the group had existed. Doolittle confirmed the group had existed but said that is all he could say. She was prodded to do this by her son John Lear who had just become aware of the MJ-12 document.
• Edgar Mitchell, the Commander of Apollo 14, is another high level person who confirmed that the group MJ-12 did exist based on sources he had.
• General Arthur E. Exon, who was at Wright Field in 1947 when the alien bodies were shipped from the Roswell crash site, said he “was aware of a UFO controlling committee made up primarily of very high-ranking military officers and intelligence people. He did not know the name of the group but called them the “Unholy Thirteen.”
• In July 1989, Bob Oeschler provided some of the most dramatic evidence supporting the existence of a group known as MJ-12 when he taped a conversation on the MJ-12 subject with Bobby Ray Inman. Inman stated “that MJ-12 meant something to him.," and that “he has been aware of a program to ‘indoctrinate the public’ in UFO matters prior to his retirement,” and that he had "some expertise" in the area of UFOs but his information was out of date at the time of the conversation.
• Another person who gave some confirmation to the existence of MJ-12 was an archivist at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland, who approached me after a lecture in Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 2005. His job was to declassify documents for release which meant that he worked right inside the classified vault and saw all government documents before their release. He stated that a colleague had reported seeing documents with the MJ-12 designator on them years before doing declassification on Joint Chiefs of Staff documents.
• Harold Stuart, a former member of the Truman administrative. He had been listed as a member of an advisory committee for MJ-12 in Robert Collins’ 2005 book Exempt from Disclosure. In replies to letter from researcher Brian Parks Stuart stated, “. I have a vague recollection of MJ-12, but not significantly specific to make a comment… I was not on the MJ-12 Advisory Board and only have a faint recollection of this project or group. I did know most of the Generals you mentioned in your letter, but sorry I cannot shed any light on your request.”
• Researcher Lee Graham wrote many letters and filed dozens of FOIA requests to try and validate the MJ-12 document. On May 24, 1990, the Defense Investigative Service (DIS) responded to one of Graham’s FOIA requests by sending him back a copy of the MJ-12 document, each page of which was stamped “UNCLASSIFIED” across the lower part of the page. This indicated the document had been declassified. Graham was never able to obtain clarification on who had done the declassification.
• In a 1987 letter written by John Andrews to his good friend Lockheed Skunk Works President Ben Rich, Andrews stated that he had known of MJ-12 for years “even though officially it didn’t exist.” In a discussion with Lee Graham he said he had heard of MJ-12 in early 1984 which was almost a year before researchers Moore and Shandera reviewed copies of the MJ-12 briefing document for President Eisenhower in the mail.

Since the release of the book in January 2013, there have been two new pieces of evidence that help to confirm that there was a MJ-12 UFO control group.

The first piece of new evidence came from a story that was told by Jesse Marcel Jr. who was the son of the intelligence officer at the Roswell Army Air Base that handed the July 1947 UFO crash. Marcel told his story in front of the May 2013 Citizen’s Hearing on Disclosure in Washington D.C.

According to Marcel “a number of years ago” he was called to Washington D.C. by Dick D’Amato for a meeting in a secure room in the Senate Building. D’Amato was chief counsel and chief investigator for Senator Byrd’s Senate Appropriations Committee. When the Area 51 story broke in 1989 in Nevada, Byrd and other senators on the committee (responsible for all budget spending) wondered if they were in fact financing back-engineering of flying saucers at Area 51 without being told what they were paying for. D’Amato was provided the appropriate security clearances and sent to investigate. D’Amato confirmed the alien projects but was not able to penetrate them. He told Steven Greer, “"I've been asked by Senator Byrd and some others to look into these things, and we've gotten close enough to know that these projects do exist. But I'm telling you that with a Top Secret clearance and a subpoena power from the Senate Appropriations Committee, I cannot penetrate those projects. You're dealing with the varsity team of all black projects, so watch out. And good luck."[i]

Marcel stated that he and D’Amato met around a huge conference room table. On the table was a novel that had been written by Whitley Strieber called “Majestic.” The book is about the Roswell crash and the MJ-12 control group that was established to deal with the extraterrestrial appearance on earth. D’Amato said, “I want to tell you something. This (pointing to the book) is not fiction.”

Marcel asked, “When are you going to tell the public?”

D’Amato replied talking about the MJ-12 control group that oversees the UFO cover-up, “If it were up to me I’d have done it yesterday, but it is not up to me. I am just here to investigate the cost of keeping it secret. In reality there is a black government. They have control of the debris. They answer to no one and they are not elected. They have unlimited money to spend. They are the ones who have control over it.”

The second piece of new evidence came from a very unlikely source – Dr. John Alexander. John was a Colonel in the US Army, and had been interested in the UFO mystery since a young boy in 1947. He also had done work on “esoteric projects, specifically in the intelligence community with psychokinesis.”

Alexander wrote a book on his UFO investigations called “UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities.” In the book Alexander pointed out that although UFOs are real, they are of no interest to the American government, and therefore there is no cover-up of the facts by American officials.

Alexander is also well known in the UFO community for hosting a Top Secret – Special Access series of meetings in the mid-1980s to look at the UFO problem for a possible new government look at the problem. The group was called the Advance Theoretical Physics Group and interestingly had exactly the same “Top Secret- Restricted Classification” as the MJ-12 document.

In a June 15, 2013 interview with radio show host Nancy Du Tetre Alexander, Alexander suddenly announced that the MJ-12 group had existed.[ii] This sudden disclosure was strange. That is because the MJ-12 controversy is central to the whole government cover-up theory believed by most in the UFO community. Yet Alexander did not talk about the MJ-12 idea in his book which had as its basic premise that there is no government control group dealing with the UFO mystery.

This is the transcript of the interaction;

Alexander: I think that there actually was a group and they were created something known as COG – continuity of government – and it was to prevent nuclear decapitation of the United States. It was really super super sensitive.

Nancy Du Tetre: Well let me ask you this. Does MJ-12 as far as you know exist today?

Alexander: I don’t think so. I had someone whisper to me that it had existed. I didn’t think it had existed at all, but when I looked into it and asked if the names were correct, and they said yes and that should tell me what I need to know to figure it out. That’s how we came up with this particular occupation because most of them were into nuclear warfare. That was one common thread of all the people on the list, and much more so certainly than with UFOs.[iii]

Even though Alexander’s personal opinion of what the group might have been differs from the UFOP control group interpretation, the significance of what Alexander said cannot be emphasized enough. MJ-12 existed and the names on the UFO document that appeared on a film in the mailbox of Jamie Shandera in 1984 were correct.

The Iranian navy has located a gigantic mysterious carcass floating in the waters

Photos of the gnarly carcass were posted to a website serving the city of Bushehr in western Iran on the Persian Gulf. Based on the vertebrae and blackened skin of the carcass, Reddit users postulated that it was the remains of a whale.

"The blackened skin and vertebrae are a good giveaway, I wish the pictures were a bit bigger so I could wager a guess at what kind it was, but it's hard to make out!" wrote user Unidan, who is regarded as an expert in biology by members of the social news community.

 I am in my mid-thirties and live with my wife in Franklin County, Vermont on a hill over looking a small valley of trees and cow pastures, which rests between the towns of Milton, Saint Albans and Cambridge. I am a well educated, rational biomedical laboratory technician. My mother, who lives in a neighboring county, is a PhD research scientist who I would consider to be extremely rational and never prone to hysteria or exaggeration.cto hysteria or exaggeration. My wife is also well educated, and very practical – even stubbornly skeptical – about strange phenomenon and other events which have no bearing on her life. Two years ago, my mother was walking with a friend, who is a radar operator for the Air National Guard. The path they were walking is very near the downtown area in our largest city, about 25 miles south from my house. She tells me the sky that evening was dark, except for the many stars which were at that moment unobscured by clouds. She felt something odd and was compelled to look directly overhead. She and her friend then saw a very large, black, triangular craft with faint orangish lights, one at each corner of the craft. She said that the craft was so dark and so quiet as to seem as if it was absorbing light and sound. They watched as the craft moved slowly from north to south and finally disappeared from view after a few minutes. Apparently, my mother’s friend was at least somewhat familiar with similar objects, but provided no information. My mother told me about this experience immediately after it happened because our close relationship and mutual respect permit this. This week, I had my own amazing experience, and my wife shared it with me.
 On the evening December 4th, 2014 at approximately 9 p.m., I was exercising in our basement and noticed a very bright light which I could see through our basement window. I ran up our first flight of stairs, opened the front door and stood on the porch. Before noticing any detail I felt an intense sense of dread. I looked up toward the sky at a 45 degree angle, directly away from our house, toward Vermont’s highest mountain peak. In the near distance, perhaps a half mile from where I was standing, I saw an extremely bright object, pulsating red and blue lights, bouncing around slightly. I stood for perhaps 30 seconds or a minute watching this object, feeling transfixed but also very fearful. I recalled in that moment some of the stories of abductees who were paralyzed prior to their close encounters, and screamed at myself mentally to turn around and go back inside. I walked quickly inside, locked the door and ran up the next flight of stairs to our living room, where my wife was sitting and watching television. I turned off all the lights and then the TV and told her, “you need to see this.” I brought her to our picture window, oriented precisely eastward in the direction of the object, and asked, “WHAT IS THAT?” She leaned toward the window, squinted her eyes and her mouth dropped open. At the same moment I noticed another similar bright object to the north, but this object became a secondary consideration to us because it was partially obscured by tree branches near our window and appeared to be farther away and at a higher altitude. I asked her to stand there and continue to watch the object for unusual flight patterns if it began to change position. As she did this, I ran to my office to retrieve my Celestron Model #21035 travel telescope. When I returned, I noticed a light on the ground directly below the UFO, in a location that I know to be a patch of cow pasture void of any structures. I quickly found the UFO in my telescope lens. What I saw shocked me down to my core. The object was disc-shaped, bright, colorful, pulsating and bouncing. The pulsating red and blue lights appeared to come from within the craft, passing out through its walls. I then found the light on the ground below the craft and saw that it was cylindrical, orangish-yellow and was illuminating a white angular object which sat closer to my house on the grass. After two or three minutes, I decided that I would not see enough detail in the light and turned the telescope back toward the UFO. When my wife again examined the craft, she asked, “what is that other thing…in the air, closer to us, in the bottom right corner of the view?” I looked and saw the corner of another, mostly black and camouflaged object, perhaps two or three hundred yards closer to us. I watched this object for ten minutes or longer and noticed that it was slowly rocking around and up and down. On several occasions, I could clearly see that the bright, pulsating disc was casting enough light on the angular craft to illuminate two corners of what appeared to be a triangular black craft. My wife paced around the house, communicating irritation with me for looking at these objects with such interest at first, but eventually, after at least a full hour, parked herself on a chair near me saying, “I feel weird…I’m scared…I don’t like this.” At some point, I noticed that the light on the ground had vanished. Then, I noticed that the pulsating disc was calmer – more stationary and less bright. The red light, especially, was mostly or entirely gone and the craft appeared to settle into a lower-energy state. The triangular craft remained in the same position for another thirty minutes. Immediately prior to going to bed, I saw that the disc and triangle had both changed positions. The disc was now higher, perhaps directly above the triangle, which was now oriented with a single corner pointing downward. Suddenly, I saw the full form of the triangle, which was hovering with its underside pointing directly at my window. I saw one faint, circular orange light at each of three corners. The next day, I bumped into a resident who lives on the road directly opposite my house from the previous evening’s activity. This individual informed me that she had see an object that matched my description of the bright object at 9 p.m. on December 3rd and 4th. I knew this meant that the object might return soon, and watched from my window throughout the night of December 5th. Two bright, pulsating objects appeared shortly before midnight, at least one half mile farther from my house than they had been the previous night. I watched for over an hour as they appeared to follow a grid pattern slightly above the tree tops near a river. A quick scan of the internet reveals that Vermont is currently a hotspot for these phenomena. Many people have reported similar objects in my area; MANY more have likely seen them and remained silent.  I would be willing to speak with you by phone, but I must be careful not to allow my name to be associated with my report as it is presented to the public.

Is this US government involved in a huge cover up to hide the fact that there is alien life abroad in the universe? Or are the UFOs merely military crafts whose true intent was to be war vehicles? An unidentified flying object, or UFO, in its most general definition, is any apparent anomaly in the sky that is not identifiable as a known object or phenomenon.

Culturally, UFOs are associated with claims of visitation by extraterrestrial life or government-related conspiracy theories, and have become popular subjects in fiction. While UFOs are often later identified, sometimes identification may not be possible owing to the usually low quality of evidence related to UFO sightings (generally anecdotal evidence and eyewitness accounts).

Stories of fantastical celestial apparitions have been told since antiquity, but the term “UFO” (or “UFOB”) was officially created in 1953 by the United States Air Force (USAF) to serve as a catch-all for all such reports. In its initial definition, the USAF stated that a “UFOB” was “any airborne object which by performance, aerodynamic characteristics, or unusual features, does not conform to any presently known aircraft or missile type, or which cannot be positively identified as a familiar object.” Accordingly, the term was initially restricted to those fraction of cases which remained unidentified after investigation, as the USAF was interested in potential national security reasons and/or “technical aspects.”

(See Air Force Regulation 200-2.) During the late 1940s and through the 1950s, UFOs were often referred to popularly as “flying saucers” or “flying discs”. The term UFO became more widespread during the 1950s, at first in technical literature, but later in popular use. UFOs garnered considerable interest during the Cold War, an era associated with a heightened concern for national security. Various studies have concluded that the phenomenon does not represent a threat to national security nor does it contain anything worthy of scientific pursuit (e.g., 1951 Flying Saucer Working Party, 1953 CIA Robertson Panel, USAF Project Blue Book, Condon Committee).

Oud mysterie voorspelt ineenstorting in september 2015  ( Video)

Het jaar 2015 wordt een bijzonder jaar. Eigenlijk hoef je daar geen helderziende voor te zijn om dat te kunnen voorspellen.

Alle tekenen wijzen erop dat in deze 12 maanden vele zaken tot een climax zullen leiden.

Als dat ook nog wordt ondersteund door een meer dan 3.000 jaar oud mysterie dan is dat bijzonder te noemen.

Een mysterie dat terugvoert naar de tijd van Mozes en wat shemitah heet. Het is een Hebreeuwse uitdrukking en het betekent neerstorten, neervallen, inelkaar storten.

Het wordt in het Nederlands wel het sabbatjaar genoemd en is gerelateerd aan de sabbat, de zevende dag, de rustdag. De shemitah is het zevende jaar, het rustjaar waarbij een stuk land onbebouwd dient te blijven.

Iemand die veel onderzoek heeft gedaan naar de shemitah is de Joodse rabbi Jonathan Cahn. Hij heeft er ook een boek over geschreven dat in no time een bestseller werd, The Harbinger.

In het onderstaande interview hoor je Cahn vertellen over de akelige nauwkeurigheid waarmee de shemitah werkt.

De dag dat het shemitah jaar eindigt, is het moment dat schulden worden kwijtgescholden, kortom dat er wordt begonnen met een schone lei. Oorspronkelijk bedoeld als een zegen, het schoonvegen van de lei, maar omdat het volk Israël zich tegen God heeft gekeerd, veranderd in een vloek.

Hoe iedere ineenstorting van de beurs terug te voeren is naar de shemitah, tot op de dag, het uur en de seconde nauwkeurig. Niet alleen de ineenstorting van de beurs, maar ook de opkomst en ondergang van bepaalde volkeren.

De shemitah komt dus iedere zeven jaar terug en we bevinden ons op dit moment in het jaar van de shemitah. Het is begonnen op 25 september 2014 en formeel eindigt deze op 13 september 2015.

Een lezer (dank!) schrijft het volgende:

Ik heb net een nieuwsbericht gelezen waar ik een vreemd onderbuik gevoel bij kreeg. Op teletekst is te lezen dat de paus op 24 september 2015 het Amerikaanse congres zal toespreken. Het merkwaardige zit hem in de datum en dat dit tevens de eerste keer is dat een paus dit doet.

Het is natuurlijk wel een merkwaardige datum voor de paus om voor de eerste keer het Amerikaanse Congres toe te spreken. Alhoewel het shemitah jaar officieel eindigt op 13 september dit jaar is de 24ste precies de laatste dag van een vol jaar sinds het begin van de shemitah.

Dit is ook tevens de dag van de laatste bloedmaan. Volgens velen zal er op 25 september 2015 het main event gaan plaatsvinden waar we allemaal voor vrezen of waar we op voorbereid zijn. Deze datum heeft alles met de vierde bloedmaan en de laatste dag van de shemitah te maken.

Een beurskrach, een atoombom op New York, er zijn al vele scenario's gegeven op het internet, allemaal gebaseerd op de laatste dag van de shemitah. Uitgerekend deze dag zal de paus in New York het congres toespreken, wie weet wat hem daar gaat overkomen en wat voor effect dit op de wereld zal hebben.

Zal deze paus dan echt de laatste zijn en zal hij bewust of onbewust worden geofferd om het main event te laten starten. Al met al vind ik dit waanzinnig toevallig dat precies deze dag hier voor is uitgekozen, als je precies begrijpt waar de shemitah voor staat dan is dit mind blowing.

Hieronder volgt het interessante verhaal zoals dat wordt verteld door Jonathan Cahn. In de video is de interviewer nogal storend vinden wij omdat hij Cahn alsmaar in de rede valt en het nodig vindt een stuk persoonlijke religie te adverteren.

Vreemde lichtstraal uit de hemel  ( Video )

Op 2 februari rond één uur ’s nachts vond er een merkwaardige gebeurtenis plaats in de plaats Escabana in het noorden van de Amerikaanse staat Michigan.

Na een explosie in de lokale energiecentrale verscheen er een vreemde lichtstraal vanuit de hemel.

Volgens het gemeentebestuur zorgde een explosie in de plaatselijke energiecentrale ervoor dat veel mensen zonder stroom kwamen te zitten.

De schade was dermate groot dat het volgens de gemeente dagen zou duren voordat de normale stroomvoorziening weer op gang zou gekomen.

Er zijn daar vreemde dingen gebeurd.

Op een gegeven moment, na de explosie, een geweldige lichtstraal vanuit de hemel die rechtstreeks lijkt te verdwijnen in de geëxplodeerde centrale. 

In de onderstaande video zie je minutenlang vreemde luchten die door de autoriteiten worden verklaard als een naderende trein. Dat is uiteraard totale onzin.

Een explosie in een centrale zorgt niet voor een enorme lichtstraal naar de hemel zoals te zien is op bovenstaande afbeelding.

Wat het wel is, weet niemand.

Het doet trouwens erg denken aan soortgelijke lichtstralen die zijn waargenomen vanuit piramides.

Het heeft in ieder geval niets te maken met de lichten van een naderende trein. De smoesjes van overheden worden met de week idioter.
