Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Legendary Ufo Cases From Latin America – Part I
[Some of our readers may recall Inexplicata's presence as a column called "Orbis Tertius" in the UK's defunct UFO Matrix magazine. The following article was featured in an issue, and we reprint it here as a useful - and hopefully interesting - summary of classic cases for our newer readers. Some of the material can also be found in earlier Inexplicata entries -- SC]
Top ten lists are an unavoidable fact in the modern age, and “top ten” lists of ufology are no exception. But most UFO events elude simple lists, due to the complex nature of the cases themselves. So we shall endeavor to present some of the most intriguing cases emerging from the corner of the world that falls under this column’s purview.
Perhaps the first serious investigation of cases outside the United States was given by Jim and Coral Lorenzen of the now-defunct APRO (Aerial Phenomenon Research Organization). Much of their data was the result of collaboration with Brazilian Dr. Olavo Fontes, who had gained most of it firsthand from actual visits with participants in the events. Among these events were the aforementioned Villas Boas abduction, the Saturn-shaped craft photographed over the island of Trinidade, the saucer that exploded over Ubatuba and other cases with which the reader is probably familiar.
Truckers and Aliens
The strange abduction case of Argentinean truck driver Dionisio Llanca was overshadowed by the more immediate kidnapping of two fishermen in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Though they occurred within weeks of each other, the former case is just another of thousands of bizarre accounts. Or is it?
On Saturday, October 27, 1973, Llanca, a resident of the town of Bahia Blanca (well-known for its UFO-related incidents), had left on his truck to make a routine run. Just barely out of the city limits, in pitch darkness, he found the truck had developed a flat tire. Not having a dispatcher whom he could radio for help, Llanca got on with the business of changing the flat. A light in the distance "like car headlights" appeared to be heading his way. He felt relieved. Perhaps he could take a ride back into the town for help.
But the light was on the horizon rather than on the road. It changed from actinic white to brilliant blue, bathing the darkened countryside in azure light. Llanca was transfixed, and thought of getting closer to the light to find out what it was--until he realized he could not move.
The light emanated from a domed, saucer-shaped craft that came to hover meters away from his vehicle. To his horror he realized that there were beings standing beneath the glowing machine. They stood there, observing his futile shouting.
Next thing Dionisio knew, he was lying face down on wet grass, the sound of passing traffic filling his ears. In a state of total amnesia, Llanca stumbled around until a passing motorist offered him a lift. Seeing that he was visibly unwell, the driver took him to the Bahia Blanca hospital. Llanca recoiled at a doctor trying to examine him, and the services of a hypnotist were called to find out exactly what had happened to him.
Over a period of days, two physicians, Dr. Eladio Santos and Dr. Eduardo Mata, tried to reconstruct the man's memory and pry from him the mind-bending story. Resorting to Pentothal to break past the blockage, Llanca revealed his harrowing story:
After being held motionless by the occupants of the strange craft, he was approached by one of them, a female, who placed a small black device upon his index finger. The device took a sample of his blood and appeared to have a sedative effect, but did not diminish his fear in the least. The beings were described as longhaired, oval-eyed humanoids clad in silver coveralls with gloves and boots. Next, he was taken into the glowing craft on a beam of light. The entities continued performing their tests upon him, conversing with him in perfect Spanish, advising him: "they wished to see if humans could withstand living in their world."
Doctors Santos and Mata proceeded carefully with their sessions, realizing that Llanca was terrified to death of reliving his experience. Probing too deeply could cause the patient to snap.
But it was Llanca who surprised them.
After revealing detailed descriptions of the craft's interior, lighting, texture of the walls and other details, Llanca fell silent. The physicians realized they had struck another--possibly impenetrable--barrier. Then, like an automaton, Llanca recited:" I have a message from the beings in the craft, but I cannot say what it is. No matter what you or other Earth scientists do, there will remain the memory lapse while I was on the ship. I was there for 45 minutes."
The stunned doctors realized that it would not be possible to "unblock" the post-hypnotic command without placing Llanca's mind in jeopardy. They directed their efforts instead to help the man recover from the traumatic ordeal. In the wake of the equally dramatic events at Pascagoula, most investigators ignored Llanca’s case. Pedro Romaniuk, the Argentinean Ufologist, gathered a wealth of data on the case, as did Kevin Randle from APRO.
In the long run, the physicians’ fears came true. In 1976, Llanca was reportedly in Buenos Aires, claiming yet another contact with the “saucermen”, who had come for him in the town of Monte Grande. Little else is known of this event, but the truck driver was reported in various parts of the country after that. It is believed that he was eventually committed to a psychiatric hospital in the Patagonian city of Rawson.
Benign Radiation
Recent developments in the study of electromagnetic radiation have given us new insights on the effect of the various kinds of "rays" emitted from UFOs. Low frequency microwaves can cause irreparable damage to the human nervous system, and other wavelengths can actually be proven beneficial to humans in moderate amounts. Normally, 10 to 30 milligauss of exposure is considered to be acceptable, and it is what we receive from computer terminals, television sets, microwave ovens, and etcetera.
The "benign" rays issued from unidentified flying objects are few and far between when compared to the lethal ones that have been the topic of a dozen studies. The deaths of witnesses on account of exposure to unknown radiation are the discussed in a recent book by Jacques Vallée, in which he recounts alarming unprovoked attacks upon humans in northern Brazil. At the book's core are the attacks by machine-like devices referred to as "chupas" by the natives. Vallée leads us through nightmarish accounts in which the protagonists--who have no exposure to a "space minded" culture--give frank descriptions of injuries inflicted by beam and gas weapons, the deaths of friends and relatives in such attacks, and the aftereffects of such experiences.
V. Maceira, a 73-year-old man living on the outskirts of a rural town in Argentina, was calmly sipping tea one evening when a brilliantly illuminated object appeared out of nowhere in a nearby clearing. He could make out the forms of two beings clearly within the glowing object, and with the rustic courtesy of the gaucho, Maceira proffered his cup of "mate" tea to the new arrivals. His cat, which had just had a litter of kittens, bolted into the darkness away from the unnatural light, forsaking her young.
Events following the apparition of the alien craft proceeded quickly. Maceira saw the beings depart in a flash of light, and immediately began to feel ill, with slight vomiting and incontinence. Strange tendrils of fine, thread-like material streamed from his eyes and his blood cell count dropped. Investigators discovered that fish in an adjacent pond had died of unknown causes. Maceira's cat returned to its kittens, but displaying patches of burnt fur as if from extreme heat. But a totally unforeseen event began to transpire: Maceira began to acquire thoughts foreign to his experience and meager education. He was able to discuss the finer points of history, philosophy, medicine and astronomy with experts come from the capital to see him. To the amazement of his attending physicians, Maceira was growing a new set of teeth!
In the end, Maceira was taken to an undisclosed location to keep him from dying of exhaustion. Investigators, scholars and mere curiosity seekers were bombarding the old man incessantly in hopes of finding out what made him tick.
An Ecuadoran Incident with Ufonauts
The Azogues case is another of close observation of ufonaut activity by humans. On a night in the summer of 1965, an Ecuadoran civil engineer, Hector Crespo, his son Urgenio and a laborer, Francisco López, were approaching the town of Zullengo, halfway between the county seats of Cuenca and Azogues. They saw two shafts of light pointing vertically into the sky behind the bend of the road they were on. Believing it was an accident, the three turned back to offer assistance.
Instead of an overturned car they were faced by a disk-shaped machine projecting two shafts of light into the night sky from a transparent dome at its top. The three men cautiously approached the clearly not manmade device, crawling behind a raised levee to within 30 meters of the disk.
Mr. Crespo was able to notice that a compartment to the interior appeared to be open. A crimson glow poured out from within the craft, and complex instrumentation could be seen within. THe vehicle itself rested on telescoping legs with plate-like landing pads (like the Lunar Excursion Module from the Apollo missions) and gave the impression of tremendous weight.
Most impressive was the fact that they could see the device’s "crew". Three silent humanoid shapes stood ouside the craft, one of them appearing to work on the light beam projector. The other two looked on, and at one point handed their compatriot a tool. The scene riveted the witnesses, scared to death though they were.
The two beings standing idly by turned their attention toward the levee, as if aware of the presence of the humans, but unconcerned. An amber hued light that revolved around the edge of the craft was considered dangerous by the humans and at one point Urgenio Crespo became sick. Returning to the car, fearful of having been exposed to some form of radiation, Mr. Crespo was able to observe the departure of the UFO, which took off "in a flash" after wobbling up to a height. Crespo, with a good knowledge of drafting, produced renderings of what they had witnessed that evening. The creatures had been clad in resplendent silver coveralls with white belts at the waist. The helmets on their heads betrayed no breathing accessories. The headaches and fatigue experienced by the younger Crespo were attributed to fear more than any sort of exposure to harmful radiation.
Their sighting was corroborated by others who had seen a particularly bright object in the dark sky that very same night. One couple reported the object as having landed near their house, providing enough light to see the trees, rocks, creeks and trails of the terrain in astonishing detail.
The Venezuelan Experience
South America's largest producer of crude oil played a prominent part in UFO sightings during the 1960's, although spectacular cases--investigated by distinguished ufologist Francisco D'Amico, founder of the Extraterrestrial Phenomena Investigative Group (GIFE)-- also took place during the years that followed.
In October 1976, a giant UFO with pulsating multicolored lights moved slowly over the community of Plan de Manzano, pausing its immense bulk silently over a drum farm containing highly inflammable liquids. To terrified onlookers, it appeared as if the alien monstrosity was about to land on top of the depot, but it headed off into the night sky at a prodigious speed.
On New Years Day, January 1977, a UFO moved silently across the skies of Barquisimeto, on Venezuela's Caribbean coast, beginning a significant wave of sightings. Two weeks later, on January 23, a circular UFO giving off intense flashes of blue, green, yellow, and red landed in the community of Santa Rosa, in the state of Lara. Witnesses reported seeing the silhouettes of two diminutive humanoid occupants who moved in a robotic, controlled manner. The unknown craft emitted tremendous waves of heat, leaving a twelve-foot wide burn mark on the grass and singeing nearby shrubs and trees. Seven witnesses interviewed by GIFE agreed that the landed vehicle made a slight noise, but closer investigation was impossible due to the intense heat. Armando Loyo, one of the witnesses, declared having taken a flashlight to take a look at the UFO's interior. Before he could come any closer, the vehicle took off once more, nearly blinding him with its intense light. Venezuelan scientists visited the area but refused to issue a statement as to what had transpired that evening.
The summer months of 1977 were punctuated by repeated sightings of UFOs over the village of Duaca, 15 miles south of Barquisimeto. The townspeople mounted their own nocturnal skywatch, setting up "observation posts" on a number of rooftops scattered throughout the village. The number of observation posts enabled seeing UFOs from different angles, thus allowing for comparisons later on. At 9:50 p.m. on August 22, an orange-red vehicle calculated at being some fifty feet in diameter and flying at an altitude of 4000 feet, was sighted over the community and recorded by the members of the GIFE research team. Two more vehicles were seen that same evening.
As dramatic as these skywatches might have been, Venezuela would soon face a less pleasant aspect of the UFO phenomenon: the sudden appearance of unknown craft causing widespread failures of the power grid. Caracas, the nation's capital, and dozens of outlying cities were plunged into darkness on the night of December 31, 1978--almost two years to the day of the initial sighting. The blackout occurred shortly after midnight, prompting the cancellation of all official New Years celebrations. Radio stations had alerted the city to a flurry of UFO sightings which had taken place shortly before the blackout, and the Caracas Power Utility found itself at a loss to explain the probable cause of the power failure, which extended as far as the city of Maracay, fifty miles away from Caracas.
The Central American Power Station
Honduras is a land whose UFO sightings have been picked up by the world's wire services and then forgotten. There can be no doubt, however, that this small country--wedged between Guatemala and Nicaragua--sustained its highest level of UFO activity during the month of October 1978, when it fell prey to the same kind of blackout-producing vehicles that would affect Venezuela later the same year.
On October 14, at 6:10 p.m., a nationwide blackout left communities helpless for twenty minutes as reports of strange objects in the twilit skies flooded radio stations and the newsrooms of Honduran dailies. The advertising manager of one of the latter, Rogelio Bercián, happened to be among the witnesses to the unusual phenomena. At precisely 6:06 p.m., he declared in an article for Tegucigalpa's La Tribuna, he was working on his car on the vantage point of El Picacho hill, when he became aware of a strange object moving from south to north at considerable speed. Fearing it was a conventional airplane, he paid close attention to its maneuvers due to its velocity and the fact that it was headed for a populated area. The object suddenly executed a suicidal figure-eight maneuver, and Bercián then realized he was a looking at a colossal boomerang-shaped object with a brilliant light at its center. As it flew over Tocontin Airport, electrical current died over the city. The newspaper manager saw the streetlights grow dim before blacking out altogether. Other witnesses directly under the flight path of the triangular UFO were able to confirm Bercián's statement.
City officials preferred to find a more down-to-earth explanation for the blackout, and sought an answer from the power utility, the state-owned agency ENEE (National Electric Energy Company). Reports of "unexplained anomalies" at El Cañaveral, a power station quite far from Tegucigalpa, stated that this installation crashed after "a mysterious glow had been seen in the sky."
A hundred miles away from the Honduran capital, other power stations reported similar collapses of the energy grid. Engineers were at a loss to explain how localized blackouts in their areas could have affected the distant capital city. Martin Baide, Public Relations Officer for ENEE, was bold enough to suggest: "I do not personally discard the possibility that technologies greater than man's could be the cause of these anomalies, since we have been unable to offer a satisfactory explanation as to the true reason for the blackouts."
The massive power failure that occurred on October 27, 1978 involved an even greater UFO component. Aida Zúñiga, a secretarial school director in the town of Choluteca, to the south of Tegucigalpa, observed that shortly after six o'clock in the evening on that day, her students became aware of a light-emitting object concealed behind the clouds of a recent rainstorm. The cloud-swathed vehicle was described by one student as being reminiscent of the Mothership from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Ms. Zúñiga declared that the object remained stationary, giving off lightning-like flashes just as the lights began to brown out and then disappear entirely throughout Choluteca. The UFO changed color from a yellowish red to a pale shade of pink before disappearing. After it had gone, it was noticed that the drizzle came to an end, and the power came back on line.
Two hours after the uncanny events over Choluteca, a strange vehicle was sighted over Tegucigalpa's La Leona substation. Miguel Herrero, a technician on duty at the substation, was watching television when an explosion among the transformers followed a sudden blue glow. He witnessed a blinding light rising up and away from the transformers. Witnesses on the streets reported seeing a circular red light more or less hovering over the substation. Roberto Aguiar, a cab driver, described the disk as having tendrils that moved around it in a circular motion.
The events of October 1978 may be considered unspectacular in the light of later developments in ufology, such as the rise in encounters with UFO occupants and the abduction epidemic, but it showcased the control that these objects have over our cities, and indeed over our way of life.
Uruguay’s UFO Situation
Sandwiched between Brazil and Argentina, Uruguay boasts a modest UFO history of its own, and a number of noted investigators of the phenomenon brought cases to the attention of ufology worldwide during the Sixties and Seventies. However, a major UFO flap may have taken place as recently as 1994, according to some anonymous documentation forwarded to Mexican ufologist Dr. Rafael Lara Palmeros. These papers provided information (largely from journalistic sources) on a mind-bending cross-section of ufologica, ranging from mere lights in the sky to interaction between humans and UFO occupants.
On March 3, 1994. A considerable number of residents in the town of Rivera, Uruguay confirmed that a UFO had flown over this locality during the early hours of the morning. The witnesses were workers at a refrigeration plant who were on their way to work. The object was moving at a moderate, constant speed and at a height of 500 meters (1600 feet), making circular movements.
The manager of a local radio station saw the object in the sky: According to Ernesto Fagúndez, he was able to distinguish several portholes through which crewmembers could be seen. "They were beings with enormous heads," he said. Later, the object was seen executing an odd maneuver. It allowed itself to dive over a bus that carried passengers on their way to work. Terrified at the imminent collision, the passengers leaped out of the bus and ran for their lives. The object did not collide with the bus and rose skyward, disappearing later. (As an additional detail we can add that Rivera is located on the border between Brazil and Uruguay, some 600 km. (37 mi.) from Montevideo (Note: it was later discovered that this story had originally transpired in 1978 and had been reported in the UFO press of the time).
A giant cigar-shaped UFO was allegedly seen in April 1994 in Rivera, on the Brazilian border. According to witnesses, the object had a length of 50 meters (160 ft.) and emitted bright orange flashes as it flew in a straight line toward the northeast. Suddenly, the intensity of the light diminished, and the object became invisible. Several witnesses claimed having seen 3 subdivisions in the cigar-shaped objects that may have escorted a larger one. According to the witnesses, a total of 4 compartments could be seen in these objects, leading many to believe it could be a "Mothership"
Residents of Florida, Uruguay, reported seeing a UFO flying across the sky during 18 minutes on the night of May 21, 1994. While the object was still visible in the sky, a surprise blackout plunged the city into darkness. According to one witness, journalist Luis del Castillo, it was a spherical object with white, red, and green lights on its sides, which moved off to the west. The official story on the power failure was "a sudden overload of the supply system which overrode safety systems." The manager of the Miguel Castro Ferreira Power Station was unable to come up with an explanation and dismissed it as "a coincidence." In the city of Artigas, some 700 km. from Montevideo, a family claimed having seen small allegedly extraterrestrial beings on at least 3 occasions. That morning, Wilson Eli Da Costa, 17, was in his garden when he noticed small footprints that appeared to have been made by a child. The following day he noticed more footprints. This news was shared with the rest of the family, who decided to keep it a secret. On the following day, Wilson's sister, Marta Elena Ari Da Costa, 16, saw a little man "with a very white complexion" looking into the house.
Later in the summer, five adults and a 10-year-old child in the city of Maldonado, 140 km from Montevideo, had a terrifying experience as they returned from Laguna del Sauce. At the 115 km. mark of the road leading to Punta del Este, the people travelling in the rear of the vehicle noticed "an enormous fireball" rise from a nearby field and head for their bus. They warned the driver, who saw the fiery object, thus initiating an impressive chase for over 5 kilometers. The witnesses stated that the fireball was so bright that it illuminated the entire area as if it were daylight. It moved in an east-west trajectory, following the same route as the bus. It finally broke off its pursuit and disappeared close to a naval base.
Villa Cebollati, a town in Rocha Province located some 250 km. from Montevideo, became the unwilling locale for contact with nonhumans. According to Julio César Cabrera, 45, two beings that were "very beautiful and green in color," appeared on his doorstep.
Cabrera, who was asleep in the early morning hours, was awakened by the sound of a loud horn, which he took to be that of his own car. Upon opening the car's door, a powerful electric discharge riveted him to the ground as a strange, white-faced, green skinned being, with slanted eyes and blonde hair, appeared out of thin air, accompanied by a beautiful female. According to Cabrera, both creatures began measuring his body while he remained paralyzed. Within minutes, the creatures had disappeared amid whitish smoke. No physical harm was inflicted upon the witness, and it appears he enjoyed the green creatures' visit.
On September 13, 1994. Five residents of Paso de las Velas, Florida Department, some 150 km. from Montevideo, claimed to have witnessed the collision of a UFO against the ground. The event took place after a lengthy storm, when the witnesses became aware of a solid rectangular object crossing the sky noiselessly. The orange rectangle suddenly plummeted to the ground, setting off an explosion that was heard for many kilometers around. Large plumes of smoke filled the air, but not traces of the object were found where the explosion took place.
Faced with all this information, the Uruguayan Air Force decided to accept all UFO-related information and investigate each case directly. This initiative was undertaken by the Receiving and Investigating Commission, affiliated to the Uruguayan Air Force, which first created a special file destined to collect all known cases occurring in the country. The new commission is to be headed by Lt.Col. Eduardo Aguirre, who requested the national media to forward any UFO information to his attention.
Colombia’s Andean Saucers
This major Andean republic has certainly provided its share of sightings. The problem -- echoed by many researchers both in the U.S. and in the rest of Latin America -- is that the vast majority of UFO reports come from disreputable journalistic sources that present bogus UFO stories to boost circulations. Such tales are dubbed noticias de verano ("summer tales", nearly identical to the English "junebugs") and are quickly forgotten.
Perhaps the most dramatic case involved a highly unusual "firefighting" UFO, a considerable break from the case histories involving fire-starting saucers. This particular case transpired in 1976 and was researched by Spanish investigator Salvador Freixedo, who was told of the incident by one of the protagonists involved.
Inés de Montaña, a well-known journalist for Bogotá's El Espectador described how an unidentified flying object had saved the hacienda that had been in her family for generations. The country estate, located in Tolima, a valley deep in the Andean range, was besieged by the flames of a nocturnal forest fire that illuminated the night sky with its angry flames, devouring vegetation and croplands. Farmhands ran in search of axes and sand with which to create a firebreak, since there was no water that could be used to extinguish the blaze. Their valiant efforts were in vain, for the dryness of the foliage only made the flames burn with greater intensity.
While the journalist looked on at the advancing line of fire from her bedroom window, a effulgent blue light in the smoke-filled sky caught her attention: it moved slowly and deliberately at a low altitude toward the imperiled area. De Montaña described it as "a helicopter of light".
The strange object appeared to be coming in for a landing, but upon reaching the height of the tallest palm trees, it rose again and departed with the same deliberate slowness which characterized its approach, leaving in its wake a luminous, comet-like tail -- a wave of such intense coldness that it extinguished the forest fire almost immediately, and caused the bemused onlookers to find warmer clothing. The UFO paused for a few seconds, and immediately began to move very slowly across the flames. As it moved, the fire died down as if doused with tons of water." The farmhands who had been doing their best to contain the spreading blaze were awestruck by the miraculous event.
In January 1977, a Boeing 727 airliner belonging to Colombia's Avianca airline, piloted by Gustavo Ferreira, was approaching Ibagué, a community west of Bogotá, when the crew suddenly became aware of a strong white light. Believing that another airliner had strayed into their path, Captain Ferreira promptly radioed the air traffic controllers at Bogota International Airport. They assured him that they had picked up the intruder on their radar and were tracking it.
There was little that the Avianca crew could do as the intense light source made a beeline toward their jet. In a matter of seconds, the mysterious light had stopped in mid-air. Passengers and crew were treated to the sight of an unidentified flying object three times the size of the airliner they were in. Captain Ferreira flashed his landing lights at the vehicle, which responded by changing color from white to red. A second flash of the landing lights prompted the UFO to turn green. Three minutes later, the strange object sped off out of sight. The airport traffic controllers estimated the UFO's speed to be some 20,000 miles an hour at a 99-degree angle before vanishing off their screens.
A flurry of UFO sightings filled the summer months of 1977: on July 6 of that year, residents of the community of El Socorro witnessed the flight of a six UFO "squadron" across the night skies over their town. The UFOs flew fast and low over El Socorro amid heavy rainfall, giving off bursts of red and white light. On July 20, shortly after 4 p.m., attorney Carlos Rangel, who was looking out the window of a doctors' office in downtown Bogotá, saw five UFOs engaging in maneuvers over the city. He promptly drew the attention of the nurses in the office as well as that of people walking on the street. The number of onlookers staring skyward, including those who got out of their cars to take a better look, caused a traffic jam that lasted well over an hour. Bogotá's El Liberal newspaper ran a photo taken by a staff photographer, depicting one of the UFOs in question. The photograph was accompanied by eyewitness testimony.
UFO activity over Colombia hasn't been significant over the past few years, but it could start up again at any given moment.
Chile’s Abduction Scenario
No chronicle of UFO activity in South America would be complete without the ample and dramatic case histories that have emerged from Chile. The clear nights of its vast northern salt deserts have provided an array of memorable sightings, causing some Latin American investigators to vote it "the country most visited by UFOs" during the 1970's.
The all-time Chilean classic case is the hair-raising (and beard growing) experience suffered by army corporal Armando Valdés Garrido. In the bitterly cold early morning hours of April 25, 1977, a military patrol of the Rancagua regiment led by Corporal Valdés and composed of soldiers Julio Rosas, Ivan Rojas, Pedro Rosales, Humberto Rojas, Germán Valle and Raúl Salinas, had decided to camp in a rocky, desolate area in the Andean foothills. a few miles east of the city of Putre.
One of the soldiers, who had been assigned sentry duty, rushed back to the corporal to inform him that a red light was hovering above a nearby peak. Suspecting that contrabandists may be at work, Valdés ordered his platoon to ready weapons and extinguish the campfire--their only source of warmth in the near-zero weather. The soldiers moved out toward the source of the purplish-red light, realizing in a matter of seconds that they weren't dealing with illegal activity or lost mountaineers. The light was moving down the hillside, but not on its surface.
Having complained earlier about the frigid temperature, the soldiers were stunned to discover that it was actually getting warmer as the light grew closer, turning into giant oval-shaped object which bathing them in its purplish-red glow.
The object landed some fifty feet away, swathed in a violet fog that stood out in stark contrast to the surrounding darkness. This was enough to cause panic among the young conscripts, but they found themselves unable to move. Weapon in hand, the corporal ventured forward alone into the unearthly fog, adding later that he felt attracted by something within the luminosity, and was standing no farther than nine feet away from his men when the purplish light engulfed him. The corporal stated for the record that his only recollection of the event was a dreamlike vision of falling down a deep well or chasm. He was also left with a feeling that he would meet again with the strange presence.
The truly amazing part of the story follows: the leaderless platoon witnessed the corporal's unexplained reappearance some fifteen minutes later, when they heard him calling for help. Valdés gave the appearance of having been drugged; his normally clean-shaven face showed dense beard, and his calendar wristwatch indicated that the time was 6:30 a.m. on the 30th of April, when it was still in fact 4:25 a.m. on the 25th. By all indications, the hapless military man had undergone a five-day sojourn in some unknown region of time and space. Hypnotic regression, which would ordinarily have been the procedure of choice in unlocking the "missing time", was expressly forbidden by the Chilean military. Medical specialists agreed that Valdés's panic at the ordeal, as well as the unknown radiation he had been subjected to, could have accelerated the growth of his facial hair, but no explanation was forthcoming about what had happened to his wristwatch.
Argentinean parapsychologist Antonio Las Heras conducted further research into the Valdés Case, as it came to be known, following a television appearance on Santiago's Channel 13, where he formed part of a panel with an aeronautical engineer and an astrophysicist who supported the corporal's claim. A few days prior to Las Heras' arrival in Chile, the Chilean Army had issued a communiqué confirming that Corporal Valdés and his platoon had come face to face with an unidentified phenomenon. The communiqué also added that the protagonists of the case had been forbidden to comment on the incident until military authorities had issued a final verdict. After conducting his own research, Las Heras felt that a solution to the mystery was in hand.
According to the parapsychologist, both the media and amateur investigators alike mistakenly suggested that the corporal had spent five days within a UFO, while only fifteen minutes had elapsed for the terrified onlookers. Las Heras posits that the corporal's digital timepiece "went crazy" upon entering the purple haze, probably as a result of electromagnetic fields emanating from the object. The digital watch was affected for a given period of time, finally stopping at a random time. In short, Valdés disappeared for only fifteen minutes, since his wristwatch had stopped shortly before his disappearance.
Las Heras challenged the theory that a space-time alteration took place, since exactly the opposite to what would be expected of any travel at relativistic speed is what happened: Valdés, the subject of the ordeal, was the one who aged, whereas the onlookers remained the same. According to the theory of relativity, the soldiers should have aged at least fifteen minutes, while the corporal should not have aged at all. On the other hand, Las Heras entirely agreed with the somatic explanation for the sudden growth of the corporal's beard.
A flood of sensationalistic information followed the Valdés Case: it was alleged that the corporal had shouted at the UFO: "Go! In the name of God, leave this place!" as if he were a country bumpkin facing a ghost; the local UFO press claimed that the corporal had been given a "message" by the vehicle's occupants. These, and other details, also proved untrue. Perhaps a 2010 release by Patricio Abuselme Hoffman – “Los centinelas de la noche” (The Night Sentries), covering the entire Valdés Case, will provide some long awaited answers.
After crisscrossing Chilean skies for decades, UFO activity dwindled in later decades down to a few unimportant sightings. According to an article from the EFE news agency, more than 400 confirmed sightings took place in the years before 1990. However, the period running from 1990 through 1994 has remained quiet. Not even the truck drivers who cross the Atacama Desert--the driest in the world, with a unique topography that resembles that of the moon on a starry night--have witnessed any sightings worthy of public attention.
In November 1990, a woman from a small community some 450 kilometers to the north of Santiago was violently awakened by a loud noise while an intense light, as bright as the Sun's, poured into her bedroom. The woman stated that she was filled with dread when she noticed a figure no more than 115 cm. tall standing at the door. It had very large eyes and ears and its skin was illuminated by a strong violet light (perhaps the same "purple haze" that engulfed Armando Valdés Garrido in 1977?).
One of the most spectacular of the cases befell a Chilean who revealed in August 1990 that 12 years earlier, in the middle of the antipodal winter and while traveling in his old car some 1000 km south of Santiago, he had had sexual relations with an extraterrestrial female.
Gaspar H.H., who was 66 years old at the time of his revelation, attained global notoriety when he told a major newspaper in the Chilean capital that he had been inside a spaceship for four hours and managed to establish telepathic communication with its occupants. Later on, he was placed on a bed that adapted to the contour of his body while skin samples were drawn. The ufonauts threw water on him to "decontaminate" him, after which sex with an extraterrestrial woman took place.
On October 8, 1994 a forest ranger in the Torres del Paine National Park, located in the Magallanes region, was allegedly chased by a gigantic UFO that hovered in the sky. The forest ranger, who has spent eighteen years in this particular park, was conducting a routine inspection when an enigmatic, spherical artifact that gave off a powerful beam of light surprised him.
Visibly upset, the ranger began a frantic race back to the Paso de la Muerte Shelter, some 17 kilometers away. He was pursued the entire distance by the object, which emitted "flashes of light". After gaining the shelter's safety, he was able to alert some comrades, who observed the UFO moving away at a high rate of speed. A driver identified as Arturo Cofre corroborated the forest ranger's testimony, stating that he had also witnessed the giant sphere over the so-called Cuernos del Paine. Carmen Salvat, an employee of the Hotel Explora, claimed to have seen a large luminous sphere moving in a northerly direction as it gave out potent red and violet flashes. As a final note, a tourist who wishes to remain anonymous (along with the forest ranger) said that the device managed to land, turning off all its lights before taking to the skies once more.

Cette affirmation vient d'une équipe internationale de chercheurs. Ils ont analysé des indices prélevés sur une météorite martienne retrouvée dans le désert marocain.

PROPICES.En mars 2013, les équipes supervisant le robot Curiosity (qui explore actuellement le sol de la planète Mars) affirmaient que la planète Rouge avait, autrefois, présenté des conditions environnementales propices à l'apparition de la vie.
Mais entre "conditions propices à l'apparition de la vie" et "présence passée de vie", il y a un gouffre... que vient de franchir une équipe internationale de chercheurs suisses, allemands, chinois et japonais.
L'analyse d'une météorite martienne tombée récemment (le 18 juillet 2011) au sud du Maroc, dans la région de Tissint, aurait livré des informations laissant à penser que la vie serait apparue sur Mars il y a plusieurs centaines de milliers d'années.
Plusieurs éléments ont poussé les chercheurs à cette conclusion qu'ils exposent dans un article publié en couverture du dernier numéro (décembre 2014) du journal Meteoritics and Planetary Sciences.
1. La météorite vient bien de Mars
Comment être certain que ce fragment de roche tombé sur Terre le 18 juillet 2011 provient bien de Mars, et pas d'un autre corps céleste ?
Les chercheurs l'ont confirmé en analysant finement sa composition. La météorite de Tissint contient de très faibles quantités de certains éléments chimiques appelés "terres rares" (qui, contrairement à ce que leur nom indique, sont assez répandus à la surface de la Terre).

POCHES. "La roche présente un profil très pauvre en terres rares "légères" (Scandium, Lanthane, Cérium... NDLR) caractéristique des roches que l'on trouve à la surface de Mars" expliquent les chercheurs dans la publication.
Toutefois, cette confirmation n'était pas réellement nécessaire puisque cette météorite, depuis sa découverte a été étudiée sous toutes les coutures par de nombreuses équipes. "Son origine martienne a été confirmée dès les premières études et elle n'est plus remise en cause aujourd'hui" précise Philippe Gillet, chercheur à l'École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne et co-auteur de l'étude
Les chercheurs précisent également que la roche montre des signes de plusieurs chocs d'une extrême violence, au point de créer des poches et des fissures à l'intérieur.
Et c'est à l'intérieur de ces fissures, au plus profond du cœur de la roche, que les chercheurs ont débusqué des molécules organiques.
2. La météorite contient des molécules organiques
De quoi s'agit-il ? Une molécule organique est une molécule qui contient du carbone et de l'hydrogène, associée ou non à d'autres composés.
En quoi est-ce important ? Parce que pratiquement toutes les molécules issues d'une activité biologique sont des molécules organiques. Autrement dit, la découverte de molécules organiques peut être la signature de la présence d'une vie (actuelle ou passée) telle qu'on la connaît sur Terre.
CARBONE. "La découverte de molécules organiques constitue donc un indice, mais pas pour autant une preuve de l'existence d'une vie" relativise Michel Viso, exobiologiste au CNES.
Prenons par exemple le méthane (CH4). Sur Terre, plus de 90 % des émissions de cette molécule organique dans l’atmosphère sont d’origine biologique. Mais le méthane peut également être produit naturellement par d'autres mécanismes chimiques indépendants du vivant. Par exemple, par la réaction entre divers carbonates (CO32-) et de l'eau (H2O).
La découverte de molécules organiques n'est donc pas forcément une preuve de vie. D'autant plus que cette météorite de Tissint soulève une autre question de taille. Les molécules organiques qu'elle contient ne s'y sont-elles pas logées au moment de sa chute sur Terre ?
TERRESTRE. "La contamination terrestre des roches martiennes est un problème majeur dans ce type d'études" reconnaît la publication. Mais les chercheurs rappellent que cette météorite présente l'avantage d'être "fraîche". Elle est tombée en 2011 et a été récupérée 3 mois à peine après sa chute, chiffre la publication. Un temps que les chercheurs estiment trop court pour que des molécules organiques aient pu s'infiltrer aussi profondément dans les plus petites fissures de la roche. "La plupart de la matière organique a été retrouvée dans des veines rocheuses d'un diamètre inférieur à 10 micromètres" précise la publication.
Insérer de la matière organique aussi profondément au cœur de la roche nécessite par ailleurs l'action de l'eau qui véhiculerait ce "fluide organique". Mais l'eau est justement relativement rare dans l'environnement aride du désert marocain, rappellent les chercheurs.

3. Cette matière organique semble venir de Mars
En quoi consiste exactement cette matière organique retrouvée dans la météorite ? Il s'agit d'un "kérogène", c'est à dire une sorte de goudron contenant des composés tels que du carbone (C) et de l'hydrogène (H) mais également de l'azote (N), de l'oxygène (O), du chlore (Cl) du fluor (F) du soufre (S) et du phosphore (P).
COMPOSITION. Les chercheurs ont mesuré dans ces échantillons de matière organique le rapport entre la quantité d'hydrogène et de l'un de ses isotopes naturels : le deutérium. Ils ont constaté une grande richesse en deutérium (+324 ‰ à +1183 ‰ par rapport aux standards terrestres), "caractéristique des matériaux que l'on retrouve habituellement sur Mars" précise la publication. En effet, sur Terre, la matière organique est plutôt pauvre en deutérium.
Cette matière organique est donc assez différente dans sa composition de celle que l'on a l'habitude de rencontrer sur Terre. De ce fait, il est impossible qu'elle provienne d'une contamination de l'échantillon par de la matière organique terrestre.
Les chercheurs en déduisent donc que ces inclusions de matière organique à l'intérieur de la roche ont été effectuées à la surface de la planète Mars.
DIAMANT. Autre élément qui soutient cette affirmation : une partie de la matière organique contenue dans la météorite a été transformée en diamant sous l'effet d'un impact colossal. Un impact suffisamment puissant... pour éjecter ce fragment de sol martien dans l'espace.
4. Le rapport isotopique laisse penser à une origine biologique
Reste donc la plus épineuse des questions : quelle est l'origine de cette matière organique ? S'agit-il d'une simple suite de réactions chimiques ou du résultat d'une activité biologique caractéristique de la vie ?
Des études précédentes conduites sur cette même météorite en 2012 penchaient pour la première hypothèse. Cette matière organique proviendrait de la cristallisation à très haute température du magma à partir duquel s'est formé la météorite.
ISOTOPES. Mais selon Philippe Gillet, le scénario le plus probable est que ce kérogène ait été déposée à basse température dans ces fissures près de la surface de Mars, par infiltration d’un liquide riche en composés organiques... d'origine biologique.
Pourquoi biologique ? La réponse provient de l'analyse des quantités respectives des isotopes du carbone. En effet, le carbone existe sous forme de plusieurs isotopes : 12C et 13C (stables), 14C (radioactif).
Or, dans le monde vivant, les cellules photosynthétiques (autrement dit végétales) ont tendance à fixer plus facilement le carbone 12 que le carbone 13. De ce fait, au fil de la vie d'une plante, son taux de 12C augmente petit à petit tandis qu'on observe un déficit de 13C.
DÉCALAGE. L'observation d'un tel décalage dans le rapport isotopique de la matière organique plaide pour la signature d'une activité biologique. En effet, si cette matière avait été produite par une simple réaction chimique, la quantité de carbone 12 et de carbone 13 retrouvée dans les échantillons de matière organique aurait dû être très proche de celle que l'on rencontre dans l'atmosphère martienne.
Or, tel n'est pas le cas. Les chercheurs ont découvert ce taux caractéristique particulièrement bas de l'isotope de carbone 13 dans la matière organique que renferme la météorite de Tissint.
Et les relevés montrent que cette différence de rapport isotopique (13C)/(12C) est la même que celle que l'on rencontre sur Terre entre de la matière organique d'origine biologique (du charbon par exemple) et le carbone de l’atmosphère terrestre... Pour les chercheurs, seule une activité biologique peut être responsable d'un tel décalage dans les isotopes de carbone.
Si ces scientifiques ont raison, cela veut dire que Mars a bien accueilli, dans son lointain passé, une forme de vie semblable à celle que l'on trouve aujourd'hui sur la Terre.
L'EPFL s'est amusée à mettre cette hypothèse en image sous la forme d'un petit dessin animé (en anglais). On y voit le sol martien tel qu'il était il y a plusieurs centaines de millions d'années, puis l'impact d'une météorite sur le sol de la planète rouge. Un fragment de sol est arraché et va dériver dans l'espace pendant 700.000 ans (âge estimé de l'exposition solaire de la météorite de Tissint) avant de tomber sur Terre.
"Il est délicat d’asséner des certitudes, surtout dans un domaine aussi sensible, explique Philippe Gillet dans un communiqué. Je suis ouvert à ce que d’autres études viennent nous contredire. Mais nos conclusions sont toutefois de nature à relancer activement le débat consacré à l’existence possible d’une activité biologique sur Mars, du moins dans le passé".

I found this archived on a hard drive. Canadian electrical engineer Wilbert B. Smith, giving a lecture titled: "We are not alone." c.1961 His view: "There is virtually no doubt that alien craft are visiting this earth."

DÉCLARATION. Dans le dernier numéro du magazine Challenges, en page 114, on peut lire une déclaration stupéfiante attribuée à Bernard Bigot, actuel directeur du Commissariat à l'énergie atomique (CEA), et futur Directeur général du projet de réacteur nucléaire à fusion Iter en 2015.
"On apprend de sa bouche que le survol des centrales nucléaires par les drones le fait d'une 'puissance étrangère', et que le CEA travaille sur les moyens techniques de les neutraliser" écrit le magazine. Nous avons contacté l'auteur de ces lignes qui nous a confirmé que ces propos avaient été tenus lors d'un "petit-déjeuner débat" organisé par la Fondation concorde le 27 novembre à Paris.

De son côté, Bernard Bigot, joint par téléphone par Sciences et Avenir, nous a également affirmé que ses propos avaient été mal compris. "Je n'ai jamais dit cela ! s'exclame-t-il. J'ai dit que ces survols pouvaient être le fait d'organisations anti-nucléaires internationales. Cela n'a rien à voir avec la notion de 'puissance étrangère' qui, elle, implique la présence d'un État" précise le directeur du CEA.
Nous avons également tenté d'en savoir plus sur les techniques de neutralisation des drones sur lesquelles travaillait le CEA. Bernard Bigot évoque des recherches complémentaires à celles que mène l'ONERA, et met en avant une expertise du CEA notamment "en matière d'électronique".
Nous n'en sauront toutefois pas plus car "on ne dévoile pas ses cartes à l'adversaire" nous précise-t-il.

General Cavero UFOs are Spaceships
I believe that UFOs are or extraterrestrial craft… The nations of the world are currently working together in the investigation of the UFO phenomenon. There is an international exchange of data. Maybe when this group of nations acquires more precise and definite information, it will be possible to release the news to the world. General Carlos Castro Cavero, General in the Spanish Air Force and former Commander of Spain’s Third Aerial Region, in an interview with J. J. Benitez, La Gaceta del Norte, Balboa, Spain, June 27, 1976.
“I myself have observed one for more than an hour… It was an extremely bright object, which remained stationary there for that length of time and then shot off towards Egea de los Caballeros, covering the distance of twenty kilometers in less than two seconds. No human device is capable of such a speed.”
He added that the Spanish Air Ministry investigated UFO cases, including instances in which pilots had flown alongside UFOs, but when they tried to get closer, the UFOs moved away at fantastic speeds. The investigations were kept confidential at the time, so skeptics have claimed that he was probably inventing that the Spanish Air Ministry studied UFO sightings in secret; but in 1992 the Spanish Air Force finally began to systematically declassify its UFO files, which proved that there were official investigation of UFO reports in the Spanish military
What exactly is an Orange Orb? The short answer is that no one knows. Yet it is one of the most ubiquitous of all anomalous aerial phenomena taking place in our skies today.
Debunkers will tell you it is ball lightening or flares attached to helium balloons by hoaxers or Chinese lanterns released by party goers. That may be true in a handful of cases but can either fly at over 800 miles per hour and stop on a dime or hover for hours in a terrible wind? Is it common for military jets to chase Chinese lanterns and helium balloons? And then there is the apparent intelligence that seems to accompany these orbs. They merge, they separate, they form geometric patterns like triangles and rectangles and star constellations, they blink out and return and some alleged contactees even claim telepathic communication with them.
Conspiracy theorists will suggest they are plasma ball weapons being developed by DARPA or some other U.S. Government Agency. Boeing Phantom Works is rumored to be working on these Directed Energy Weapons (DEWs) for the military but maintaining large plasma balls suspended in the atmosphere for hours or guiding them on trajectories in groups of up to 30 at speeds faster than the speed of sound is still science fiction at this point. Yet it is happening in our skies with or without Boeing’s participation!
The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) will not classify them as Unidentified Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and requires Field Investigators to label them as “Unknown Others” in their reports. When searching reports, MUFON doesn’t even use the term orb. The closest you can come to a classification in their database is circle or sphere. Yet if one goes to the MUFON sighting database (and anyone can, dear reader) there are reports on a daily basis flowing in from around the globe and even some with some very good video evidence to back up the sightings. Are they technological craft, some sort of biological entity or a little bit of both?
To be clear, these utterly silent Orange Orbs traipsing about our skies are not to be confused with the small paranormal orbs often seen in photographs surrounding people in cemeteries and haunted houses. These are objects of advanced technological capability yet on occasions when they have been seen close up they seem to be molten pulsating blobs of energy or biomass with faint outlines of something possibly mechanical but almost invisible about them like a shell.
In 2008, the British Ministry of Defense released their so called X-Files and among the generous amount of information released was this nugget about Orange Orbs:
“That Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon (UAP or UFO) Exist is indisputable. Credited with the ability to hover, land, take off, accelerate to astonishing velocities and vanish. They can reportedly alter their direction of flight suddenly and clearly can exhibit aerodynamics characteristics well beyond those of any known aircraft or missile – either manned or unmanned.
The Conditions for the initial formation and sustaining of what are apparently buoyant charged masses (of Plasma), which can form, separate, merge, hover, climb, dive, and accelerate are not completely understood.
Dependent on a color’s temperature and aerosol density, it may be seen visually, either by itself generated plasma color, by reflected light, or silhouette by light blockage and background contrast.
Occasionally and perhaps exceptionally, it seems a field with undetermined characteristics can exist between certain charged buoyant objects in loose formation, the intervening space between them forms an area, viewed as a shape, often Triangular, from which the reflection of light does not occur. This is a key finding in the attribution of what have frequently been called black “Craft”, often triangular and up to hundreds of feet in length.
And while sightings of these orbs are proliferating all over the globe especially in the past two years, their presence is not new. Some researchers believe them to be incarnations of the famous and mysterious Foo Fighters seen over the skies of Germany by Allied pilots in World War II. Newspaper clippings from all over the world harvested by UFOlogists like Cris Aubeck and Jacques Vallee clearly show evidence of an Orange Orb presence in the 19th and early 20th century long before Nazi scientists and engineers were harvested by the Americans after the war for their space program. Lake Erie, in particular, has been a hot bed of sightings as early as 1867 with the Native American tribes in the area calling them Wizard Lights suggesting an even earlier presence there. So let’s begin our investigation here in Lake Erie.
Beginning in 2006, a musician named Michael Lee Hall who lived near the shores of Lake Erie began to video tape Orange Orbs appearing in the skies. His videos are clear and crisp and plentiful. Check them out on YouTube. Michael, to some in the Ufology community, has diminished his status by his unsubstantiated claims that he is an alien hybrid descended from the Annunaki with special blood. That blood was sent for analysis by the now defunct UFO Hunters television program and returned with certain extraordinary results that in no way prove he is alien- just rich in an enzyme called Creatine Kenase which some UFOlogists consider a trademark side effect of an abductees’ experience.
MUFON also investigated his Lake Erie Orange Orb sightings and concluded they were merely airplanes Michael was filming. This conclusion was subsequently vigorously challenged as Lake Erie is a no-fly zone since 9/11 because of the Perry Nuclear Plant on its shores near Cleveland.
Michael Lee Hill has made some extraordinary if not outlandish claims on many Ufology blogs, web community pages and TV shows but one is very interesting and somewhat plausible. He claims that in 2010 an investigator for Bigelow Aerospace Corporation named Gary Hernandez contacted him concerning his orb sightings requesting that Michael divulge the coordinates of his orb sighting locations. A search of Linkedin.com reveals that indeed a Gary Henandez with an extensive law enforcement background did work for Bigelow as an investigator on “Classified Projects” from 2010 till 2011.
If the claim is true it casts Orange Orbs in a whole new light. Robert Bigelow is a billionaire real estate developer from Nevada that made his fortune with his hotel chain holdings. His aerospace company has launched two modules for the International Space Station. He sees a future for his company in space tourism. Mr. Bigelow also has an interest in UFOs. It stems from childhood when his grandparents were almost killed in their car evading an Orange Orb in their path. His now defunct National Institute for Discovery Science collected UFO sightings (especially Black Triangle sightings) until 2004.
In 2009, Mr. Bigelow entered into a much maligned and ill-fated financial partnership with MUFON (a non-profit) which quickly came undone. Mr. Bigelow also owns the infamous Skinwalker Ranch which is a hot bed of cattle mutilations and Orange Orb sightings. And an even more telling fact is that the Federal Aviation Administration now defers UFO sightings by pilots to Bigelow Aerospace.
The point of all this is that we have a billionaire aerospace tycoon apparently interested in the coordinates in the Lake Erie Orange Orb sightings. If they are just airplanes like MUFON says – why? Editor’s Note: I personally have dozens of photographs of daylight sightings of UFOs taken near Lake Eire that are not aircraft that may be conducting mining or fishing operations. Several companies mine for salt from underneath Lake Erie one of the world’s largest salt beds. The salt mines go four miles into Lake Erie and more than 1,800 feet deep with tunnels that are 20 feet high and 45 feet wide. There is 3 trillion cubic feet of natural gas under the lake. Also large natural caverns exist under the lake where gems exist.
Under Ocean Mining
Joseph P. Skipper writes, The Sea floor of the Pacific Ocean near Guam appears to have been mined by huge underwater equipment. The mined area appears to cover an area of about 60 x- 60 km or 37 x 37 miles at a depth averaging 8,000 feet deep. Some underwater mining for rare earth minerals, manganese nodules, diamonds and copper does occur at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean by humans but in very small areas perhaps a mile wide. An obvious thing that soon becomes apparent in the sea floor pattern evidence is the fact that some of the evidence is geometric straight lineal. In other words it comes in from off to the left in a relatively straight line or lines. There is also the radial pattern radiating out from a central point crossing and overlapping the linear evidence. To achieve this radial pattern, note that the each segment of the radial tapers from a narrow point close to the center expanding wider and wider as it goes outward to the perimeter edges as shown.
The radial evidence tends to suggest the possibility of an older volcanic or impact crater radiating out from the center point. However, when tested with the Google Earth depth meter, there is little evidence of depression or raised ground supporting this. The bottom depth variations just aren’t sufficiently there in the form of raised or depressed areas in the sea floor. There does appear to be up slope ground moving southeast toward the lower right corner of the image and rising rapidly via a deep sea escarpment to the island of Guam sticking out of the water located just off image.
The images are representative sample portions of the massive linear rectangular evidence here at this Guam site.
Huge pieces of equipment traveling in patterns at extreme depths likely produced these patterns. There are no known currents that could have caused these patterns. The equipment evidence appears to suck up sediment from the bottom and from inside cracks and crevasses exposing the underlying harder rock formations and dispersed it to the side.
This equipment appears to drill down to a deeper depth below cutting through upper sediment and harder rock leaving the type of evidence formations you see above which could essentially be a long series of many taller pedestal formations left standing in these rigid geometric patterns. Who or what it may represent remains a big unknown and the evidence that has been revealed to us is geared only to allow that limited conclusion with any confidence.

Activists: ISIS Is Now Launching Attacks From Inside Turkey
Allen McDuffeewrites, “Turkey’s main Kurdish party on Saturday accused the government of Turkey turning a blind eye to—if not outright supporting— ( ISIS) militants within its borders after suicide bombers attacked the town of Kobani along its southern border with Syria. The Turkish government vehemently denies the claims.
Nawaf Khalil, a spokesman for Syria’s Kurdish Democratic Union Party said, “The Islamic State are attacking from four sides,” noting the addition of Turkey.
Mustafa Bali, a Kobani-based activist, told the Associated Press that ISIS fighters have taken positions in the grain silos on the Turkish side of the border to coordinate and launch attacks along the border near the crossing point. “It is now clear that Turkey is openly cooperating with ISIS.
Pope Francis is visiting Turkey and condemned the “barbaric violence” of ISIS and urged Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan to take lawful steps—and not just militaristic ones—to defeat extremism. Turkey’s relationship with ISIS has been called into question since at least September when, after more than three months in captivity, Turkish intelligence agents brought dozens of hostages abducted by ISIS militants in Northern Iraq back to Turkey.

. I came across this triangle craft sitting inside a narrow crater . I have seen such things before, but on the moon. Parking a ship along a wall helps protect it from the elements of space hitting it, like meteorites. Usually a ship is this way when they have abandoned it, but may need it later for recycling for parts or minerals. There are also several tubes coming out of a hillside. Triangle on Moon
I bought a new Canon Power Shot SX50 HS Digital Camera and have I caught lots of UFO’s. I took a black triangle over my house, I did not see it when I took the photo but later on the PC I viewed it, it has a leaver jutting out of it.
In a library book about UFO’s they had a rendering of a 1947 scene with the same black triangle with a leaver jutting out of it. The US didn’t have black triangles back in 1947, so if it’s not ours then who’s?
I took ten consecutive photos of the moon and two photos show a ufo flying across the moon.

Arizona ISS Feed
On November 25, 2014, I was watching the live ISS feed and was drawn to a flashing light in the distance. I took seven photos in sequence as it got closer and passed out of view. I only have the ipad photo editor and was unable to get great resolution. I assume that you have software much more advanced than I have.
It is definitely triangular when I did some contrast to the photo. The last file in the attachments is my attempt at enhancing the photo. I would like to know what you think. Thanks to MUFON CMS

California Sightings
Castro Valley — Mom and I were outside on the porch of my apartment on November 26, 2014, and saw a flash from above the San Francisco Bay. It was white and flashed a flame red almost explosion like three times and then began to streak across the sky. The next night at 6:44 pm once again we saw a beautiful blue violet doughnut like craft silently flying across the sky. I got video of it on cell phone. It was blinking off and on so you really have to watch. It is brighter than any plane that flies in the area which makes it easy to see. It flew directly above me so I know it was a circular craft. Livermore – I was in front of the house with my daughter and her family taking pictures of the full moon on November 3, 2011. I did not notice the three objects when I took the photograph. After downloading the photos to my computer I noticed there were three unfamiliar objects that were either on or in front of the moon.
One seems to have a triangular shape. I was rather shocked to see what I had captured. I didn’t notice anything unusual in the skies or anything odd in the neighborhood. Port Charlotte — Driving west on Midway Boulevard. I came to a stop behind a few cars where people were looking up to the north. I head a low humming and saw a pretty large white orb, inside was a small pill sized and shaped black/ metallic “UFO”.
It was changing colors, moving abruptly up and down, east and west, and then it hovered silently for a half a minute. Then it flew away at an incomparable speed. It scared me badly, because I used to live near a military base and an airport in Maryland, and have NEVER seen any craft like this! When it shot out of site, the cars started moving again, but during the incident a male in the car in front of me actually yelled out his window, “What is that?” I’m no longer a skeptic when it comes to UFO’s. Missouri Spheroids
Lees Summit— Friday afternoon August 29, 2014 I was shooting images at 6:30 PM, but there was still an hour before sundown. I took some stills as well as a couple video with my 300 mm telephoto lens. There were dozens of different shaped craft that moved very rapidly and then vanished. Some were spheres, rods, and others seemed to have panels that appeared to be extended. In all, 15 different craft appear in six seconds while some were visible for only one frame, but the longest was up to 11 frames. The first object which appears to have two panels of some type were open and were either closing or at least changing their position. The second object appears next to the sun, and changes shape from a rough diamond, circular, oval, to a short rod with two thinner rod-like protrusions, and then a vague blob in the final view. At nearly any time of day, these craft and many others can be seen when the white balance of the SLR digital camera is tuned to be sensitive to brightness of the sun. This then allows the sensor to record many kinds of craft which appear to be coming in and out of space.
Lees Summit — Multiple flying craft were in the skies on November 16, 2014. Some were rod-shaped, others were spheroids, one appears to be triangular, and one large craft. It is not clear if there is a relationship between the triangular craft and the large craft. They may part of the same object, or they may be separate craft. Also, I have seen spheroid craft like this one before, and they are reported in case # 61036 on October 20, 2014.
It is clear that there were several objects in the sky that evening. They were not aircraft of any known type, balloons, or helicopters, and they stayed hovering for at least four minutes. Thanks to MUFON CMS
New Jersey Triangular outline
Parsippany —On October 29, 2014, about 4 AM, I stepped out onto my patio with my binoculars (Celestron 10X50 field) and started to observe the clear night sky. I was observing for a few minutes when I noticed to the left side of Orion’s Belt a star that seemed to be in the middle of a triangle shaped object. The lines of the triangle seemed solid but had a bluish tint to it. I observed no lights on an object flying at four thousand feet or higher. This object remained stationary over the star for over a minute. No other star had a triangle shape object in the same spot. It was then I remembered my binoculars, turned to pick them up from a small table on my patio and when I trained them on the star, the triangular shaped object was gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Ocean Isle Beach – TV Channel 3 (WWAY) reports — What was in the sky over Ocean Isle Beach this weekend? “I thought that’s a strange light. Maybe it’s a helicopter light, and I was watching them go, and they sort of did like a half circle,” said Woozy Dell, who is vacationing in Ocean Isle Beach. “And then I saw another one come, and then I thought this is bizarre, and it got a little interesting.”
What she says she saw were a series of dots in the sky. They appeared to be glowing orbs, changing in color and multiplying in number.
“So I saw two, and then I started seeing three, and then I started seeing four, and then I started counting them, because I thought, ‘My gosh. What is this?” Dell said. “What I saw was an orangish red, and when it went back around it was white.” She saw it all late Saturday night. She said it lasted just 17 minutes.

Edmond, Oklahoma City – On November 19, 2014, sure this could be a meteor and the chance of it being a meteor does outweigh it being a UFO, but I do know from research that some UFOs do make cloud trails in the sky and can mimic meteors when entering our atmosphere. The trail is not broken up nor are there pieces of the object falling off. This is one solid object. How better to enter a primitive planet during the day and not being noticed? Just make your ship appear as a meteor. SCW

Northumberland— My wife and I were on our back deck after taking the dog outside on November 30, 2014. It was overcast and there were no stars or planes in the sky. The object was very bright and easily seen. This is the second time we have viewed this object within the last week. This time I had my phone and took a picture and a two minute video of the object. The object was oval in shape and was orange in color at first and then changed to red. The object came slowly from the east. It stopped and hovered for a few seconds. It then went to the left and right slightly. It proceeded to move backwards and headed in a northeastern direction until it was behind the trees and out of our view. When witnessed last week the object acted in the same manner. It came from the east and hovered. It headed back east but it faded out and just disappeared. We weren’t sure what we had witnessed. San Antonio — You have to love the solar obliteration technique. It’s where you use a part of a roof to block the sun and use focus the camera there. It’s very effective at catching cloaked objects, especially good for orbs. I have done this many times and caught them shooting in and out of clouds this way. If you have never tried it, you need to give it a go, but understand you need a blue sky to see the white orbs. Smog or overcast clouds will not allow this technique to work.
Eyewitness states: On November 9, 2014 multiple UFO’s were captured using the Solar Obliteration Technique. I blocked the sun and Zoom In to infinity and witnessed these high flying UFO’s. Henley Brook — Leiloma writes,”I live in the West Swan Road area and these pics of ufos were taken over the last two nights. The first one flying over our area and the second more to the east at 8-8.30 pm on 22nd November 2014” The lights were brighter than a plane, made no sound and did not take the usual flight path the planes do. We think it may have been flying about or above cloud level as it disappeared for a few seconds then reappeared. We watched it for three minutes as it flew across the sky and out of sight.

Kelso — I was sitting outside in the yard observing sky on September 25, 2014, as there have been strange events over the last few months. This is the first photographs of the third time this object appeared. At around 10.30 pm, the object appeared from the SE and was noticeably brighter than the stars and moved in various directions, up, down and from one side to another while changing speeds. When looking through binoculars it looks spherical and has many different colors. It spins and turns changes shape and emits different light patterns. The color of the object itself was olive/silver and at times it would just fade out and then reappear.
We watched it for two hours all taking turns to look through the binoculars. My mother was totally amazed, and my niece and nephew gave us a commentary. Canada Lights
Toronto — While cooking dinner 35 stories above ground in east York I gazed out the window and saw a huge Red Crescent moon on November 27, 2014. I took a picture, messaged my brother and as I watched it started to fade away. The south side fading first until just a red ‘tip’ on the north side was visible that faded to black. My apartment faces due west and due to the height I can see all the way to Mississauga on a clear night. I could see the clouds, but it definitely wasn’t cloud cover blocking the glow. Then I realized at this time of night the moon should be in the east, not the west. This thing was massive and I could see it on either side of various apartment buildings on the horizon. It appeared to be more than a kilometer or two wide and was a reddish orange color. It steadily faded and looked like an eclipsing planet. I was transfixed by it and only looked away for quick texts to my brother. It left me with Goosebumps. Thanks to MUFON
Rainbow Lake — We were driving when my husband noticed a bright light in the blue sky around 9 AM, on November 28, 2014. The temperature was -32C, and there were no clouds. We watched it for a bit joking that we finally had seen a UFO, and then it disappeared.
We were surprised at that but continued driving wondering what it was. About 4 minutes later the light reappeared in a different place. We watched as it moved through the sky. Finally we decided to stop and take some pictures with my iPhone 5s at max zoom. We could not make out the actual shape, but the light seemed to get brighter, and we heard no sounds. Mumbai— It was around 8 PM, when my friend and I were watching some fireworks on November 30, 2014, when we noticed something flying across the sky. At first we thought it was the flames coming out of the fireworks and but then it looked to be an orange glowing star but much closer. Soon 4-5 more of them flew across the sky glowing and fading randomly while others also flew across. There were also planes but these orbs looked very different from them. I took some zoomed in pictures and a video showing an orange fireball ball orb with an extreme bright yellowish square at the centre. They travelled at a steady speed similar to other fireball sightings. We were shocked because we had never seen anything like this before. The objects flew behind a building. Thanks to MUFON CMS

This UFO appears to be a classic disc shaped object and was glowing bright white.
It reminded me of the UFO seen and photographed by miners at Collahuasi Copper Mine in Chile.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — NASA's new Orion spaceship, a capsule built to take humans farther into space than ever before, survived its first test flight Friday, splashing down in the Pacific Ocean to usher in a new era of deep-space exploration for the U.S. space agency.
The Orion space capsule — NASA's first capsule built for a trip to Mars — made a bull's-eye splashdown in the Pacific Ocean at 11:29 a.m. EST (1629 GMT) after a 4.5 hour uncrewed test flight. Orion's key systems were put to the test during the flight, which launched atop a United Launch Alliance Delta 4 Heavy rocket, from a pad here at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 7:05 a.m. EST (1205 GMT).
U.S. Navy officials are now fishing Orion out of the ocean, about 275 miles (442 kilometers) west of Baja California, before bringing it to port in San Diego, California. Someone has found a five-mile-wide black disc hovering over the ocean in a NASA photograph.
The disc was discovered in a picture taken November 2013, the original (much darker) version of which is still available on NASA's website.
The website says that while the UFO appears to be above the ocean, it's actually hiding underneath it - though not very well, clearly.
"This shows a massive stealth black disk over the ocean. The dimensions are almost perfect. Streetcap1 of Youtube found this one and I have to say its beyond words. This UFO looks to be more than 5-7 miles across. Since it is over the ocean area, the only place that it could hide without being noticed is below the ocean."
They also published the video analysis of the image, which we've embedded above.
Needless to say there are numerous other possibilities here, including camera glitches, gaps missed by the process of stitching together smaller images to make a large enough one to publish, and interference.
Either way there is no evidence of five-mile-wide stuff hiding under the ocean. Unless you include Atlantis. Which is also not true.

Former U.S. Air Force Serviceman Claims Space Aliens Worked With The Military
The possibility of the presence of space aliens has been argued by people from around the world for centuries. Witnessing extraterrestrial beings on Earth has been reported worldwide. A former United States Air Force serviceman and an author claims he has seen aliens like human beings frequenting Las Vegas casinos.
In a report by Mirror UK, the American author says that these aliens are usually present in bars on the Vegas strip wearing human outfits. It further says that Charles Hall is currently in Norway for a speaking tour, where he shares his encounter with aliens.

The U.S. military have established contact with species of aliens, according to a report from the author of the book series “Millennial Hospitality” (Amazon link). These aliens reportedly belong to the so-called Tall Whites species. He further claims that the defense forces have been working with these alien beings since the fifties. He reveals alien technologies have been merchandised by the U.S. military.
However, authorities believe that it is not yet time to reveal these aliens to the general public because these extraterrestrials were not emotionally ready for such an interaction.
He explains that these alien creatures disguise as human, wearing human clothing, and sunglasses in casinos to unwind. They allegedly visit places such as Stardust in Las Vegas. He notes that these casinos usually surrounded by CIA handlers.
In a Metro report, it says that Hall saw interactions between a group of strange tall, white, human-like aliens and the military when he was working at Nellis Air Force Base as a weather observer in Nevada. Millennial Hospitality is a four-part book series that made Hall famous. The book provides accounts of Hall’s encounters and interactions with extraterrestrials. It is reported that these statements were later revealed to be real.
Hall’s bio on Amazon.com indicates that his real life experiences as a weather observer in Nevada has served as his 2002 book’s background material. Hall also served as a military man in Vietnam and the U.S.
He notes that the Tall Whites had encounters with his colleagues at the former military base near Las Vegas. He says that the encounter with these aliens was shocking because one can’t be sure whether they are looking an angel or at ghost or simply a dream.
On the 12th of September 1952, an apparent extraterrestrial being was sighted in the town of Flatwoods in Braxton County, West Virginia. This unidentified entity is now popularly known as the Flatwoods Monster or also known as the Braxton County Monster. Some preferred to call it the Phantom of Flatwoods. Stories about the alleged alien are example of the close encounter of the third kind.
Various descriptions of the entity surfaced. Most of the alleged witnesses say it was at least 10 feet tall with a green body and glowing red face. The head formed a heart with bulging eyes (non-human eyes). The body was human-like that was clad in a dark pleated skirt, which later described as green. Some reports reveal that the mysterious entity had no visible arms while others say it had short, stubby arms with long claw-like fingers. These fingers extended from the front of its body.
A large, pulsating red ball of light was associated with the Flatwoods Monster. It hovered over or rested upon the ground. UFOlogists believe that the mysterious hovering craft may have been piloted by the alleged alien being.
After the encounter of the strange creature, the September 12 group reported having experienced sickness and similar symptoms, including swelling of the throat and irritation of the nose. They suffered from convulsions and vomiting throughout the night, which they attributed to having been exposed to the mist from the creature.
The symptoms being experienced by the witnesses were described by a doctor who treated them as being the same to victims of mustard gas. The same symptoms also associated with people who suffer from hysteria due to a traumatic event.

A large white orb flying above Midway Boulevard in Port Charlotte, Florida caused several cars to stop, according to the report registered in Case 61753 from MUFON witness reporting database.
According to the report, the witness came to a stop behind several cars in the middle of the road as people were looking up to the north. The witness says that he heard a low humming and spotted an enormous white orb. The witness also saw a small pill-sized, black metallic UFO inside.
The witness further describes the object. He says it changed in colors and moved very fast up and down, and east to west. Then the object remained still for approximately half a minute, and flew at tremendous speed later.
The reporting witness has not seen anything like it before. The strange event scared him badly because he never seen anything like it before despite formerly living near a military base and in a Maryland airport. The witness says the object barely made any sound.
The reporting witness reveals that other drivers in the area saw the unusual object too. He says the drivers only started to move again when the object moved out of sight. He states that when the mysterious event still ongoing, a male in a car in front of him yelled out his window, wondering what the object was.
The incident transformed the reporting witness from a skeptic to a believer in UFOs.

Naar aanleiding van het door ons gepubliceerde artikel kregen wij een aantal reacties van mensen die eveneens dit vreemde geluid hadden waargenomen.
Hoewel de weerscondities precies het tegengestelde waren van die welke je zou verwachten bij een onweersbui, kwamen veel mensen toch tot de conclusie dat het wel een onweersbui geweest moet zijn.
De meldingen van mensen die het geluid eveneens waarnamen kwamen niet alleen uit Den Haag, maar ook uit andere plaatsen.
We kregen meldingen uit: Voorburg, Leiden, IJmuiden, Haarlem, Warmond en Tilburg.
Bijna alle lokaties liggen in het westen van het land en dan is het ook aannemelijk dat er misschien toch een onweersstoring over dat gebied is getrokken.
De enige plaats die eruit springt is Tilburg. Deze ligt in een totaal ander deel van het land en als het een onweersbui was dan zou die niet op diezelfde tijd zijn waar te nemen in Tilburg.
Maar, het wordt nog vreemder.
Want op precies hetzelfde moment dat die knal te horen was in bijvoorbeeld Haarlem werd deze ook waargenomen in een compleet ander deel van het land, zoals in Breda:
Betreft uw artikel, harde knal, ook in Breda rond hetzelfde tijdstip was het ineens donker en het rommelde wat en hierna kwam een harde knal. Nu, onweer is normaliter wel te horen maar dit was echt geen normaal onweer.
Ik vind de lucht sowieso er heel vreemd uitzien de laatste tijden, zelfs midden in de nacht oranje gloed in de lucht hier in Breda?! Je voelt gewoon dat dit niet natuurlijk kan zijn. Ze spelen een spel met ons en dat moet eens klaar zijn en wij als volk wakker worden voordat het werkelijk te laat is!
Zo ontstaat nu een gebied dat loopt van IJmuiden tot Tilburg, waar mensen op dezelfde dag en op hetzelfde tijdstip een knal in de lucht horen, al dan niet gepaard gaande met een lichtflits en/of vuurbol.
Dit gebeurt dan bovendien op een dag dat de lucht grijs is, er weinig wind staat en er geen grote temperatuurverschillen zijn. Absoluut geen condities die je zou associëren met een onweersbui.
Een onweersbui die een harde knal veroorzaakt in IJmuiden doet dat niet op exact hetzelfde tijdstip in Breda. Wat het ook geweest moge zijn, duidelijk is dat dit niet is veroorzaakt door een onweersbui.
Daarmee wordt het raadsel nog groter.
Net zoals overigens die andere vreemde geluiden die de avond daarvoor boven Engeland werden waargenomen. Hoewel daar de meeste meldingen uit Engeland zelf kwamen, werden ze ook waargenomen in de Amerikaanse stad New York en Brussel.
Hetzelfde was ook in Nederland te horen, getuige het volgende bericht dat wij ontvingen:
De knal van het filmpje is precies het zelfde geluid wat wij hier in Heerlen, Hoensbroek en Brunssum hoorde echt raar precies de zelfde tijd en dag eng precies zo dacht ook vuurwerk maar was toch wel anders.
Kortom, in plaats van antwoorden zijn er op dit moment nog veel meer vragen.
Mochten er nog lezers zijn die op die dagen ook iets vreemd hebben gehoord of gezien dan vernemen wij dat graag.
Zo langzamerhand is bij een breed publiek bekend dat er druk UFO verkeer plaatsvindt bij en rondom het ISS (Internationaal Ruimtestation).
Het komt echter niet zo vaak voor dat verschrikte reacties van astronauten die vreemde dingen zien, worden opgenomen of in de openbaarheid komen.
Dat is precies wat er enkele dagen geleden gebeurde toen de ESA (European Space Agency) astronaute Samantha Christoforetti zich klaarmaakte voor de aankoppeling bij het ISS ruimtestation van de Soyuz ruimtecapsule.
Op 23 november 2104 was de Soyuz raket gelanceerd vanaf Kazakhstan die Christine, samen met nog twee andere astronauten, naar het ISS ruimtestation vervoerde.
Zes uur na de lancering werd het ruimtestation bereikt en bereidde de bemanning zich voor op de aankoppeling.
Net op dat moment schrikt Christine enorm van een fel oranje licht dat wordt gereflecteerd door de zonnepanelen van het ruimtevoertuig.
Er was “iets” dat haar verwelkomde en zorgde voor deze felle oranje gloed. “Iets” dat niets te maken had met het ruimtestation.
Bijna dagelijks, maar zeker wekelijks, worden er UFO's waargenomen bij en rondom het ISS ruimtestation. Wat Christine gezien heeft is vrijwel zeker de reflectie van één van deze UFO's die waarschijnlijk nieuwsgierig was of haar wilde verwelkomen aan boord van het ruimtestation.
Astronauten zijn koele kikkers die uitgebreid worden getraind op onverwachte situaties. Voor een dergelijke astronaut om zo te reageren als Christine doet, moet het wel iets heel bijzonders zijn geweest wat ze gezien heeft.
Je kunt horen aan haar stem in de video hieronder (rond de 10 seconden in het filmpje) dat ze volkomen van haar stuk is. Ze slaakt een soort kreet van totale verbijstering en heeft geen idee wat haar overkomt.
Later kwam ze met een verklaring van wat ze had gezien.
“Toen ik mij omdraaide, zag ik één van zonnepanelen van onze Soyuz. Toen zag ik vanuit mijn ooghoeken nog iets anders. Toen ik besefte wat ik zag, werd ik overweldigd door totale verbazing en vreugde.
Ik zag het ruimtestation, maar ook iets anders. De enorme zonnepanelen werden als het ware bedolven onder een krachtig oranje licht, helder, warm en bijna buitenaards. Ik kon er niets aan doen dat ik een kreet van verbazing slaakte, zoals je waarschijnlijk in de video kunt horen.
We stonden op dat moment in open verbinding met Mission Control. Toen een collega mij daaraan herinnerde, probeerde ik om mijn verbazing onder controle te houden en me weer te concentreren op mijn werk. Toen ik later nog een keer keek was het licht verdwenen.”
