In ancient times, subterranean realms were associated with the Greek Hades, the Nordic Svartalfheim, the Christian Hell, and the Jewish Sheol. Dante Alighieri’s Purgatory hill in “The Divine Comedy” (1300s) was a tunnel to the inner earth, which was supposed to be the resting place of all persons before an eventual ruling of justice.

“Could it be possible that the portion of the world we are inhabiting is only one layer? There are those who believe it is very possible. The Hollow Earth Theory has been around for a long time and there are several variations. In 1692, the astronomer Edmund Halley who discovered Halley’s comet, proposed the idea of a hollow Earth. Halley suggested that Earth contained two inner shells separated by an atmosphere, each with its own magnetic poles. Halley believed that Earth contained spheres — one inside another — that turned independently of each other. “The hollow Earth theory puts forth the idea that the Earth is completely hollow or may have a hollow region inside. This idea was common in some ancient cultures and was evidenced in ideas like the hell in Christian literature or Sheol in Kabalistic works. This idea has also been explored numerous times in fiction including Jules Verne’s *Journey to the Center of the Earth* and in a series of novels by Edgar Rice Burroughs as well as in more modern literature.” (Abby Cessna, “Hollow Earth Theory,” Universe Today, December 28, 2009)

When Isaac Newton proposed the law of gravitation, British astronomer Edmund Halley who discovered the famous “Halley’s Comet” suggested the Earth consisted of concentric spheres. The interior of the Earth was possibly inhabited with life and illuminated by a glowing atmosphere. John Cleves Symmes, Jr., a veteran of the war of 1812, campaigned for the idea of interior concentric spheres in 1818. Symmes quickly became the most well known promoter of the hollow Earth theory:

“In the early 19th century an American eccentric, John Cleves Symmes (1779-1829), sought funding for an expedition to enter the Earth through one of two 4,000-mile wide polar holes. Inside the Earth, he was convinced, a benevolent advanced civilization existed. Though an object of derision to most people, some took him seriously, and the idea of a hollow Earth was championed in a number of books throughout the rest of the century and right into the next.” (“Hollow Earth Theory,” HowStuffWorks, 1998-2014)

New York physician Cyrus Teed proposed a “concave” hollow-Earth hypothesis in 1869. Instead of assuming that we dwell on the exterior surface of the planet, Teed argued that the Universe revolves within the interior of a concave hollow Earth, which he called Koreshanity (after Cyrus the Great). Teed founded a pseudo-religious cult called the Koreshan Unity based on his unusual cosmological concepts. David Koresh (born Vernon Wayne Howell), the leader of a Branch Davidian religious sect, perhaps believed himself to be the modern-day Cyrus the Great or a prophet of Dr. Teed’s hollow-Earth beliefs. (76 men, women and children died after a U.S. government siege ended with the burning of the Branch Davidian ranch in 1993.)

Marshall B. Gardner published “A Journey to the Earth’s Interior” in 1913 claiming that the inside of the Earth was hollow and housed a Sun; he also believed that the inside of the Earth could be reached through the north and south poles. More recently, the hollow Earth theory has been linked to Hitler and Nazi Germany. The Nazis were convinced of many occult beliefs and practices, including astrology, the prophecies of Nostradamus, and the hollow/inverted Earth theory or “hohlweltlehre.”

“Because they suspected that our surface is on the interior of a concave Earth, Hitler sent an expedition, including Dr. Heinz Fischer and powerful telescopic cameras, to the Baltic island of Rugen to spy on the British fleet. The Nazis sent their expedition under Heinz Fischer, an expert on infrared rays, to the island of Rugen in the Baltic in April 1942. One of the purposes of the mission was to make use of hollow-Earth curvatures to spy on the British fleet. Astronomer Gerald S. Kuiper reported: “High officials in the German Admiralty and Air Force thought this would be useful for locating the whereabouts of the British fleet because the concave curvature of the earth would facilitate long-distance observation by means of infrared rays which are less curved than visible rays.”

“Apparently, the island was home to a number of advanced projects. One should also note carefully the hidden technological implications of the experiment, notwithstanding the insane use to which it was put: the Nazis possessed the means of detection of infrared reflections from great distances through atmospheric refraction, the same technology as was developed for use in heat-seeking anti-aircraft missiles and subsequently used with dramatic effectiveness in America’s plutonium bomb.” Joseph P. In June 2011, Peter Lindberg, Dennis Asberg and their Swedish “Ocean X” diving team discovered the “Baltic Sea anomaly,” a 60-meter circular rock-like formation on the floor of the Baltic Sea. “The team reported that the formation rests on a pillar and includes a structure similar in appearance to a staircase, leading to a dark hole.”

Experts said that it is most likely a natural geological formation. But it was reported that the Baltic Sea anomaly interfered with or disabled all the electronic equipment, feeding speculation that the structure could be a Nazi World War II anti-submarine device or a “flying saucer.”

Discrete observers throughout history such as Alexander the Great and Christopher Columbus have reported unidentified submersible objects (USOs). Writings attributed to St Bartholomew contain some remarkable details on the subject of USOs. Original Greek manuscripts at Vienna and Jerusalem, which may be as old as the 5th century, indicate: “And there came up out of the bottomless pit a wheel.” Its Latin fragments, which date to the 6th century, similarly state: “And a wheel came up out of the abyss.”

These archaic texts in fact describe a wheel or disk-type flying craft soaring out of the depths of the sea, many centuries before flying saucer reports were in style. Repulsive wardens waging a war against “God” controlled the strange craft. The wheel was large enough to include “canales” or pipelines containing abducted humans who appear to have been held against their will: “For into this pipe are sent they that through their gluttony devise all manner of sin.” (Recent reports of wheel-like objects flying into and out of the seas — in connection with abduction experiences — are now generating renewed interest in unexplained phenomena beneath the Earth. Sleep paralysis may not be the proper explanation for all abduction cases because some reports do not involve sleep.)

Admiral Richard E. Byrd of the United States Navy flew to the North Pole in 1926 and over the South Pole in 1929. But the official U.S. government release of Byrd’s diary revealed erased records. His erased diary led to widespread allegations of a cover-up. A so-called “secret diary” of Admiral Byrd was later circulated among raw supporters of the hollow Earth theory. In that disputed diary, Byrd allegedly told of entering the interior of the earth and traveling over mountains with green vegetation. After crossing subterranean lakes and rivers, he discovered life resembling prehistoric animals. He eventually came across cities and a prosperous civilization in the hollow interior realm.

When Jules Verne wrote “Journey to the Center of the Earth” in 1864, he inspired a new genre of impressionist romantics. One of the most peculiar aspects of the hollow-Earth theory is that it produced two roads — a “subconscious polarity” of opposite tendencies and contrary qualities. In other words, the North Pole interior is said to be positive whereas the South Pole interior is considered negative.

The North Pole legend regularly centers on a Norwegian sailor named Olaf Jansen. Jansen’s sloop supposedly sailed through an entrance to the Earth’s interior at the North Pole. For years he lived with the inhabitants of the Agharta Kingdom. According to the writer Ellie Crystal (crystalinks.com), Agartha is analogous to the Lost Eden or a sunken Atlantis, which still exists as a celebrated city that is said to reside in the Earth’s core. Initiates guided by masters who are the spiritual leaders of humanity inhabit the inner realm. They do not meddle in the lives of humans that live above the surface. Nor is there any communication from them, alike to underworld spirits of the departed. However, the race of supermen and superwomen do occasionally come to the surface to oversee the development of the human race.

But the South Pole is where Nazi Germany wanted to create a line of soldiers to rule the world. There is a legend that says Hitler and his chiefs escaped the last days of the Third Reich by going through the opening at the South Pole (Antarctica) where they discovered an entrance to the Earth’s interior. This narrative is full of twists and turns with Nazi-designed UFOs, and Nazi collaboration with scheming aliens (a race of Aryan people) who live in the center of the Earth. The Thule Society, which was closely watched by Hitler, reported Tibetan expeditions to find openings into the Earth. Allegedly, Hitler was influenced by concave hollow-Earth ideas and sent an expedition to spy on the British navy by aiming cameras up into the sky. Based on a 1944 German submarine fleet speech by Admiral Dönitz, there is also speculation that Hitler ordered a research mission to build an “an invisible fortification” in Antarctica.

“We’ve all heard tales of Nazis exploring the southern extremities of the globe and even setting up bases in Neuschwabenland. Some have also heard of Operation Highjump and Admiral Byrd’s altercation with entrenched German forces that overpowered them with amazing flying craft.” A video lately surfaced which supposedly shows “a 1944 map from the Third Reich detailing not only the direct passageway used by German U-boats to access this subterranean domain, but also a complete map of both hemispheres of the inner realm.” (“Third Reich Maps of the Inner Earth,” Subterranean Bases, 2012-2014)

At the beginning of 1939, a Nazi submarine expedition explored a hitherto uncharted part of Antarctica. New Swabia (Neuschwabenland) is a cartographic name given to an area of Antarctica where a Nazi colony was allegedly established. (Rothschild Island is an island 39 kilometres long, mainly ice covered, also in Antarctica.) Rodney Cluff on his “Our Hollow Earth” website had a copy of a letter (with translation) supposedly sent from a Karl Unger that was aboard the U-boat 209 (commanded by Heinrich Brodda) saying that they had reached the inner realm.

A year after World War II ended, the U.S. Navy mounted Operation “High Jump,” which according to different critics was basically an invasion of the Antarctic. The primary mission of Operation Highjump was for the United States to set up an Antarctic research base. However, some evaluators claimed that in 1947, Admiral Richard E. Byrd led 4,000 military troops from the U.S., Britain and Australia in an invasion against “former Nazi interests in Antarctica.”

On March 5, 1947 the “El Mercurio” newspaper of Santiago, Chile, had a headline article “On Board the Mount Olympus on the High Seas” which quoted Byrd in an interview with Lee van Atta:

“Admiral Byrd declared today that it was imperative for the United States to initiate immediate defense measures against hostile regions. Furthermore, Byrd stated that he ‘didn’t want to frighten anyone unduly’ but that it was ‘a bitter reality that in case of a new war the continental United States would be attacked by flying objects which could fly from pole to pole at incredible speeds.’”

The Polaris solid-fuel ballistic missiles were tested in the 1960s. Wernher von Braun made a trip to Antarctica in 1967. It was noted in a number of reports that by means of Operation Paperclip’s former Nazi V-2 rocket scientists, Walt Disney distributed space colonization films to give approval to the ballistic missile arms industry. Once the general public agreed, human actors never “returned” to the Moon. Space colonization plans were thrown away, but ballistic missile sales increased.

According to the Canadian-based German Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel, Nazi elite troops escaped with their “space technology” into the hole at the South Pole. In the 1997 novel “Indiana Jones and the Hollow Earth” by Max McCoy, Indy comes into the possession of a bewildering journal hinting at the reality of a subterranean civilization that he and the Nazis battle to find. The quest will lead him to a massive cavern beneath the snow, portal to the legendary Ultima Thule — the key to Hitler’s mad plan for world domination. Putting aside mythology, modern geologists don’t speak of a hollow Earth. But they do concern themselves with the Earth’s “porosity.” The Earth’s interior is porous like a sponge. Underground caves and “porosity evolution” determine the range of pore sizes. Absolute porosity is the total of all void spaces present in the Earth’s interior. The void space is expressed as a percentage. The exploitation of natural resources, for example groundwater and petroleum, is partly dependent on the properties of porosity. It is the ratio of the volume of openings (voids) to the total volume of material.

Porosity represents the storage capacity of geologic material. So, in a roundabout way, the Earth is distinctly hollow after all, as determined by crack and fracture systems, which are the functions of geological strain.

In 2014, a reservoir of water three times the volume of all the oceans was discovered deep beneath the Earth’s surface. The finding could help explain where Earth’s seas came from: “Jules Verne was on to something.”

“In his classic 1864 adventure story *Journey to the Center of the Earth*, the French novelist imagined a vast ocean deep within the planet’s bowels. University of Alberta scientists have found the first direct evidence that he wasn’t far off.

“We may have another ‘ocean’ to add to the world map — only this one is hidden hundreds of miles beneath our planet’s surface. A new study suggests that a hidden ‘ocean’ is nestled in the Earth’s mantle some 400 miles beneath North America. The hidden reservoir, apparently locked in a blue crystalline mineral called ringwoodite, may hold three times as much water that exists in all the world’s surface oceans.” (Sara Gates, “Hidden ‘Ocean’ Discovered Deep Underground Near Earth’s Core,” The Huffington Post, June 13, 2014)

Co-author Steve Jacobsen of Northwestern University told the New Scientist that the hidden water might also act as a buffer for the oceans on the surface, explaining why they have stayed the same size for millions of years. He wanted to find out if a hidden ocean wraps around the entire planet. In this up to date buffer assessment, the “hollow” Earth acts rather like a heart pump to keep up a continuous flow of water and activate geological processes on the surface, such as earthquakes or erupting volcanoes.

Another riddle of modern geologists is that according to Einstein’s general relativity theory, gravitation is the curvature of space-time. Consequently, if an object could experience the reversal of gravity by passing through the Earth’s porous center, could it also experience the reversal of space-time? In other words, could we time-travel into the past — and to an opposite zone of relativistic space? Are there perhaps small holes at the central part of every planet or self-gravitating system? If so, might they be the portals or stargates to hyperspace?

In physics, the “twin paradox” is a thought experiment where a person who makes a journey into space in a rocket will return home to find he or she has aged less than an identical twin that stayed on Earth. The same could also be true with acceleration and deceleration when cruising the Earth’s interior. Would a clock traveling into the Earth’s interior lag behind a clock on the surface?

Today, deep underground military bases (DUMBs) are scattered throughout the world. Some are allegedly financed by so-called black budgets. When asked if it’s true that there are “cities” deep under the ground, a scientist who once helped build the Channel Tunnel smiled and replied: “There are nations.” Bearing in mind that the “Chunnel” is merely a public subway beneath the English Channel, one can hardly take in the immensity of underground bases reserved for the ruling elite:

“The idea of a hollow Earth appears in myths and legends of various cultures. Greek legend refers to a paradise region known as Hyperborea. According to legend, the people of Hyperborea enjoyed good health and lived 1000 years or longer without growing old. Chinese and Eskimo legends state that there is an opening in the North to a subterranean realm where an underground species resides. They believe the underground realm is a paradise and is where their ancestors came from. Eskimo legend also states that the underground paradise is a place of perpetual light where the sun never sets.

The Hopi Indians also have a legend that states they emerged from an underground realm within Earth. Hades (or Pluto) was a name for the ancient underworld, which likewise guided the way to Elysium and the “fortunate isles.” The legend of a bottomless abyss as a primeval well somewhere beneath a Near East embankment seems like a naive belief in our day. Yet ever since the Second World War, the Mediterranean Sea has given shelter to some of the world’s most covert submerged naval bases. Middle East conflicts fall back on those top-secret fortifications. At this time, the Mediterranean Sea hides away some of the most advanced positions of operational activity and deep underground military bases. Do nations pass beneath the borderline of a primordial abyss?

Skeptics were concerned that Fouche’ may have overstated, misrepresented, and possibly invented some of his facts from his history.

Those ten were: the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit Stealth Bomber, the Aurora Lockheed-Martin’s X-33A, Boeing and Airbus Industries’ Nautilus, the TR3-A Pumpkinseed, the TR3-B Triangle, Northrop’s Great Pumpkin disc, Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical XH-75D, Shark antigravity helicopter, and Lockheed-Martin and Northrop’s jointly-developed TAW-50 hypersonic antigravity fighter-bomber. These could have included the Lenticular Reentry Vehicle, a nuclear-powered flying saucer - the first version of which allegedly went operational in 1962, as portrayed in the November [2000] issue of Popular Mechanics.

Boyland said that the “TR-3B does not have an antigravity propulsion system, but merely uses the Biefeld-Brown effect to reduce its weight so that more conventional propulsion systems such as scramjets can give it amazing speed.”

However, other skeptics further pointed out that the effect had been attributed to ionic wind and had been shown not to work in a vacuum, thus eliminating any alleged “antigravity” effects. A prior cohort and presently a spokesman for Alienscienctist.com spoke vehemently against Fouche’, having worked with him, and experienced some questionable tactics from Fouche’. This spokesperson felt that Fouche’ had invented many of the ‘science facts’ – not from reliable, hidden sources – but from widespread news, journals and gossip (an unfortunate behavior in humans), and that he melded these tidbits into a fashionable and believable story. According to this cohort, Fouche’ even claimed, while intoxicated, that he had flown in a TR-3B.

Alienscientist.com speculated that Fouche’ gathered, “his mention of Quasicrystals and Metamaterials…Two remarkable types of materials, very definitely used for things like invisibility and stealth cloaking technologies…” from all-ready existing journals and sources and not from friends in Black Projects. “Did he actually work in Black Projects as he claims or did he learn about all this stuff from reading science and technology magazines, or somewhere else?” (http://www.alienscientist.com/fouche.html.)

“Woody”, a skeptic that claimed to have known Fouche’ personally, was just as blatant: “(July 8, 2014 – 06:33 p.m.) Ed Fouche is a liar! Sadly, he has taken his service in the USAF and attached a fantasy to it that was designed to create a legacy for him! Ed spent thousands of dollars to self-promote a poorly written book, which he can barely give away! Within this book, and another unpublished book called Oracle, Ed claims to have embedded secrets about him, and alleged Top Secret programs that he claims of which he was a part. 

“Ed states that he had to talk to JAGS in order to get permission to write certain things in this book while they supposedly filtered out other sensitive material. However, Ed cannot offer any proof of this interaction with JAGS. Fouche’ countered that the facts were very complicated and not that simple; deception was part of the overall history of UFOs. Other researchers contended that Fouche’s experiences are neither all black nor white (like so many other enigmatic characters in ufology and even our own personal lives) but a mosaic of half-truths. 

GOVERNMENT MIND GAMES

In a 1999 interview with investigator Paola Harris, Fouche’ divulged his further belief that many of the so-called UFO abductions were part of a governmental Mind Control program to spread disinformation about the government’s relationship with UFO entities. “Disinformation,” said Fouche’, “If you plant half a dozen different versions of what is going on in people’s minds, no one will ever believe anyone else, and that’s exactly what’s happening…Not unless a pre-existing authority imposed the terms of the future new order.” 

At other times, Fouche’ indicated that famed stories, such as the 1997 book about a 1947 Roswell, New Mexico UFO crash by Philip Corso*, and the alleged Area 51 employee, Bob Lazar (who did reverse engineering), were part truth but also part falsehood. (* Philip J. Corso was an American Army officer. He served in the United States Army from February 23, 1942, to March 1, 1963, and earned the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.)

Reputable researchers recall entering Area51 on a nod from Lazar. Even that he knew his way through the office buildings. “One last thing, when it comes to Ed Fouche, there are some kind of massive Triangles that have been flying all over the place since the 1970s,” said ShotInTheDark on June 10, 2014, “and I, along with many others, want to know what they are. One such triangular craft passed over several Illinois towns, including Lebanon and Millstadt, on the morning of January 5, 2000.  There were multiple witnesses, including several police officers (http://ufoevidence.org/cases/case277.htm.).

“Officer Martin was driving on the southern end of Shiloh heading east when he observed the mysterious object, which appeared to be heading in a westerly direction,” said MUFON investigator David Marler, “He was able to observe three brilliant white lights, which were shining downward from the object. However, the light did not illuminate the ground or objects on the ground. In addition, small red and green lights were observed on the back end of the object. At this time, Officer Martin thought the object's altitude was approximately 1,000 feet. He estimated the distance from his car to the object to be about a quarter of a mile. He thought the object resembled the shape of an extra wide triangle or arrowhead. He estimated the apparent size to be 75-100 yards wide.”

“When Gary McKinnon hacked into U.S. Space Command computers several years ago, learned of the existence of ‘non-terrestrial officers’ and ‘fleet-to-fleet transfers’ and a secret program called ‘Solar Warden’, he was charged by the Bush Justice Department with having committed ‘the biggest military computer hack of all time’…(He) stood to face prison time of up to 70 years after extradition from UK,” said Darren Perks (UFO Investigator and  Researcher, 11/07/2012, 16:44 BST.).

However, there would have been a backlash for McKinnon to testify: his attorney would be allowed to subpoena government officers “to testify under oath about the Navy’s Space Fleet.”

McKinnon discovered that there were about eight cigar-shaped motherships (each longer than two football fields end-to-end) and 43 small “scout ships”. The Solar Warden Space Fleet operated under the US Naval Network and Space Operations Command (NNSOC) [formerly Naval Space Command]. There were approximately 300 personnel involved at that facility. The figure was rising.

“Solar Warden is said to be made up from U.S. aerospace Black Projects contractors, but with some contributions of parts and systems by Canada, United Kingdom,” said Perks, “Italy, Austria, Russia, and Australia. Some theorists portend that such technology had existed many years before and in the channels of hidden knowledge, hidden codes, and passwords; the space program started in the minds and hearts of various ‘inventors’.

One such telltale element was the mysterious airship phenomena of 1896-1897. Louis Winkler, PhD, and MUFON consultant in Astronomy, studied the many newspaper and other accounts, and believed the sightings were of balloon craft, which were steerable and powered. The sightings appeared to be “the first of other major developments soon to follow in the field of transportation by air.” They were seen in California and were said to be real mechanical devices. The trail of clandestine inventors linked through the late 19^th and the early part of the 20^th century with the tales of Charles Dellschau and the Sonora Aero Club (1856-1860), the brilliant inventor Nikola Tesla, JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory)/ Jack Parsons/ Aleister Crowley and the “Babalon Working” were just some of the mysterious aeronautic conundrums. Space scientist and ex-Nazi Dr. Werner Von Braun recognized the powers of the underworld that energized the space race. It was an interesting article which I will post under my article on my blog however for me it was obvious that the flashes of light were part of the memory altering that takes place when humans are taken and abused by whatever or whoever is doing the abducting.

It is by no way a coincidence that human scientists are now using light in this way nor should we be surprised.  I doubt there is anyone out there who does not at least suspect if not clearly know that the human race has been given or stolen  a great deal of technology from the other life forms that have been visiting this planet most likely from the birth of the planet. Reading that a form of memory control and light is connected should have been obvious to me before. I laugh when I realize it was part of every Men in Black movie made. The fact they used the light flash may have been a joke on society placed in the movies by those who knew long ago that it was indeed the exact way our visitors control our memories.

Sherry and I have found this a consistent factor in our own research. Sherry, herself of Swedish/Chippewa heritage, has been privileged to spend time with Hopi Elders and such Medicine teachers as Rolling Thunder. I was initiated into the Seneca Wolf Clan Teaching Lodge, and I appropriated the name for our Star People research from the Chippewa legends that told of beings who descended in Sky Baskets to take of themselves husbands and wives from the Native American tribes.

In 1971, James C. Wyatt of Memphis, Tennessee, sent me a copy of his grandfather's journal which contained fascinating and startling entries, written in straightforward fashion, which, appears to indicate that an association between Bigfoot-type creatures and UFOs has existed for quite some time.

In a journal dated 1888, Wyatt's grandfather records that he was somewhere along the Humboldt Line in the “Big Woods Country” where his father and several cowhands had wintered with a local tribe after delivering some cattle to a fort further north. Grandfather Wyatt was fluent in many tribal languages, proficient in sign language, and partook of most of the tribal activities.

One day he came upon a man from the tribe carrying a large platter of raw meat.

At first the man seemed afraid to answer Wyatt's questions concerning his errand, but he finally bade the cattleman to follow him.

In a shallow cave in a cliff face dwelt a beast with long, shiny black hair that covered its entire body, except for its palms and an area around its eyes. The humanlike creature did not seem wild or vicious; it sat cross–legged, Indian-style, to wolf the raw meat. Wyatt described the creature as built like a big, well-developed man, except for its lack of neck and its long body hair. The creature's head seemed to rest directly on its shoulders.

Wyatt visited the man-beast in the cave more than a dozen times. After much questioning, and receiving two pounds of tobacco, a compass, and an axe, one of the men from the tribe took Wyatt to a high pinnacle of rock one clear night to tell him of the creature's origin.

“Crazy Bear,” as the thing was called by the Indians, had been brought to the “Big Woods” from the stars. A “small moon” had flown down like a swooping eagle and had landed on a plateau a few miles away from the tribe's encampment. The beast in the cave and two other “crazy bears” had been flung out of the “moon” before the craft had once again soared off to the stars.

The man told Wyatt that other “crazy bears” had been left in the vicinity over the years. Wyatt's guide and several of his fellow villagers had occasionally seen the “men” who put the crazy bears off the small moons. They did, nor look like the giant hairy ones, but appeared to be more like men such as themselves. The men from the small moon had much shorter hair than the tribespeople, though, and they wore shiny clothing. They always waved to the Indians in a friendly manner before they closed the door in their small moon and flew back to the stars.

The crazy bears had been led to the village by the Indians, and at no time had the hairy giants offered any resistance to their benefactors. The Indians believed that the crazy bears from the stars had been sent to bring them powerful medicine, and they would not permit the creatures to stray away lest they be captured by rival tribes.

In a lengthy letter to me, James Wyatt speculated: “Who is to say the Crazy Bears weren't exiled to our planet for some crime or other infraction of the laws of another planet [or dimension, we might add]?

“On the other hand, it is not inconceivable that the hairy ones are the food animals of some distant world and have been planted here on Earth to produce herds, just as the old shipmasters used to place pigs and goats on islands to multiply and furnish food for later voyagers.

“That they have not proliferated in great numbers may be due to their inability to provide for themselves, especially if they have been kept as produce animals for generations.

“Or, perhaps, the climate, the atmosphere, or the food available to them is against their best survival purposes. Who knows?”

Who, indeed? I do know that I have spent nearly 50 years attempting to find out. After researching the possible connection between Bigfoot and UFOs for nearly five decades, I am left with no clear conclusion, but I have come strongly to doubt if Bigfoot even exists as a physical entity. If we should arrive at some kind of compromise that the creature fits into some category of beingness, then I would tend to argue that the shaggy monsters are more likely to be multidimensional interlopers and that there is a direct tie between UFO's and Bigfoot.

In recent years a good many UFOlogists have argued the possibility that the mysterious giant bipeds, the “crazy bears” that haunt our woods could be experimental creatures from spacecraft left loose on Earth. It may be a bit unnerving to suggest that Bigfoot may be the property of some other-dimensional interlopers. By the same token, so may we fit into a similar category–and I find that infinitely more unnerving.
