According to the videographer, these couldn’t be birds or drones because drones and birds could never fly off that fast. They appear to be to orb shaped UFOs with a light source.

The hand stencils and paintings of animals were created between 35,000 and 40,000 years ago – making them at least as old as similar artwork in Europe.
Here, using uranium-series dating of coralloid speleothems directly associated with 12 human hand stencils and two figurative animal depictions from seven cave sites in the Maros karsts of Sulawesi, we show that rock art traditions on this Indonesian island are at least compatible in age with the oldest European art.
The earliest dated image from Maros, with a minimum age of 40 thousand years, is now the oldest known hand stencil in the world.
In addition, a painting of a babirusa (‘pig-deer’) made at least 35.4 thousand years ago is among the earliest dated figurative depictions worldwide, if not the earliest one.
Among the implications, it can now be demonstrated that humans were producing rock art by 40 thousand years ago at opposite ends of the Pleistocene Eurasian world.

A swarm of bees has killed a man in Arizona and sent another to hospital.
The two were working at a house in Douglas, a town on the border with Mexico, when they were attacked.
They were part of a group of four cutting grass and weeding for the owner of the house, a 90-year-old man who was not stung, news reports said.
According to the Arizona Republic, one worker had collapsed and was in respiratory arrest by the time then emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene.
He died at the hospital. The other was stung about 100 times, the newspaper said.
A huge hive, about 4ft wide (1.2m) and 6ft long (1.8m), was found inside the home's attic. It was believed to be a decade old and some 800,000 bees were estimated to be inside.
A beekeeper later exterminated it after parts of the roof of the home were torn off.
The Fire Department used foam and pesticide and cordoned off several blocks of the street for several hours.
Authorities have warned neighbours to be alert.

Manned mission to Mars: Will astronauts hibernate their way to the Red Planet?
With travel to Mars taking upward of 180 days – one way – NASA is considering the possibility putting astronauts into a medicated deep sleep for the trip.
Torpor, a state of reduced physiological activity, would reduce astronauts’ metabolic functions, and costs, according to a NASA-backed study conducted by Atlanta-based aerospace engineering firm SpaceWorks Enterprises. The physical inactivity paired with intravenous feeding might mean a crew could essentially be put in hibernation during transit to Mars.
Torpor occurs naturally when a human experiences hypothermia, but hospitals have been using it to treat patients for more than three decades.
“Therapeutic torpor has been around in theory since the 1980s and really since 2003 has been a staple for critical care trauma patients in hospitals,” aerospace engineer Mark Schaffer of SpaceWorks Enterprises told the International Astronomical Congress in Toronto this week, according to Discovery News. “Protocols exist in the most major medical centers for inducing therapeutic hypothermia on patients to essentially keep them alive until they can get the kind of treatment that they need.”
Taking measures to reduce human activity are prompted by questions of how to minimize the crew “footprint” on space habitat architecture. Theoretically, sleeping astronauts would require less food, water, and oxygen, thus significantly cutting the price tag on a six month journey. It could also eliminate ancillary crew accommodations including food galley, exercise equipment, and entertainment.
But the longest period a patient has ever been held in torpor has been limited to two weeks, according to the report.
“For human Mars missions, we need to push that to 90 days, 180 days. Those are the types of mission flight times we’re talking about,” Schaffer told Discovery News.
Humans who have undergone multiple torpor induction cycles have reported no negative or detrimental effects, according to the SpaceWorks study.
The study indicates a fivefold reduction in the amount of pressurized volume and a threefold reduction in mass required for a crew. A crew in stasis could almost halve baseline mission tonnage requirements to about 220.
The approach is based on extending the current and evolving medical practice of therapeutic hypothermia, a proven and effective treatment for various traumatic injuries that lowers a patient’s body temperature by 5 to 10 degrees Fahrenheit causing their metabolism to reduce significantly and the body to enter an unconscious state.
The Mars-bound astronauts would then be intravenously fed a mixture containing all essential nutrients for a human to function through a process called total parental nutrition (TPN). Muscle atrophy could be remedied through automated physical therapy tools and neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES).
The crew would be cycled in and out of stasis such that one crew member is conscious at all times during the transit, yielding minimal impact to the habitat.
The study also pointed to potential psychological benefits for astronauts:
“It is reasonable to assume that the crew’s mental well-being will be substantially improved by effectively eliminating the 400 days spent in transit to and from Mars. They will enter the torpor state upon Earth departure and awake in Mars orbit approximately 200 days later. This can avoid many of the challenges with crew compatibility, potential interpersonal conflicts, boredom, and depression.”
Although more research and review is still required, to date, the team has found no “show-stoppers.” - CSMonitor
An archaeological dig in northern Italy has unearthed the remains of a 13-year-old-girl buried face-down -- evidence, archaeologists say, that despite her young age, she was rejected by her community and seen as a danger even when dead.
Dubbed by Italian media as “the witch girl,” the skeleton was unearthed at the complex of San Calocero in Albenga on the Ligurian Riviera, by a team of the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology at the Vatican.
The site, a burial ground on which a martyr church dedicated to San Calocero was built around the fifth and sixth centuries A.D., was completely abandoned in 1593.
The prone burial, which has yet to be radiocarbon dated, is thought to date from the late antiquity or the early Middle Ages.
“These rare burials are explained as an act of punishment. What the dead had done was not accepted by the community,” said Stefano Roascio, the excavation director. Like other deviant burials, in which the dead were buried with a brick in the mouth, nailed or staked to the ground, or even decapitated and dismembered, the face-down treatment aimed to humiliate the dead and impede the individual from rising from the grave.
“In particular, the prone burial was linked to the belief that the soul left the body through the mouth. Burying the dead face-down was a way to prevent the impure soul threatening the living,” anthropologist Elena Dellù told Discovery News.
In extreme cases, a face-down burial was used as the ultimate punishment, with the victim horrifically buried alive.
It wasn’t a treatment used on the teenage girl, however.
“The skeleton’s position rules out this possibility,” Dellù said.
Found with her hands placed on the pelvis and straight and parallel legs, the girl showed no apparent signs of a violent death in her bones. However, Dellù noticed porotic hyperostosis on the skull and orbits. These areas of spongy or porous bone tissue are the result of a severe anaemia.
“She could have suffered from an inherited blood disorder such as thalassemia or from hemorrhagic conditions. More simply, it could have been an iron lacking diet,” Dellù said.
Standing just under 5 feet tall, the young girl somehow scared the community -- perhaps it was just her pallor, her possible hematomas and fainting.
Intriguingly, her disrespectful burial was found in a privileged area, just in front of the church.
“This makes the finding even more unusual. A similar case of a teenager buried face-down in front of a church was found at the archaeological site of Pava near Siena,” Roascio told Discovery News.
“A precise dating of the skeleton and further research on similar burials might help in finding more clues,” Roascio said.
According to Caroline Arcini of Sweden's National Heritage Board, prone burials are not as rare as it may seem and have occurred across the world from 26,000 years ago up to the early 20th century.
The author of the first global study on face-down burials, Arcini has recorded more than 600 bodies who had suffered the indignity of a face-down burial from 215 grave sites. Such data suggests the phenomenon is “a conscious act, a deep-seated form of human behavior occurring in all cultures and religions,” Arcini said.
“There is a clear pattern indicating that prone burials were used for those who were different,” she added.
The researcher also recorded a case of a prone burial in front of a church.
“It was an individual male dating to the medieval period. He was killed by both sword and crossbow,” Arcini told Discovery News.
“He was buried in a cist and a bracelet partly made of gold around his wrist indicated that his social position was high,” she added. - Discovery

Joe Martino writes, “In what is a cool mainstream find, Russian cosmonauts have discovered LIFE clinging to the outside of the International Space Station. This is the first time living organisms have been found on the space station and scientists are not sure how it got there.

Cosmonauts have found microorganisms on the exterior of the Inter national Space Station. The creatures were found during a space walk to clean the surface of the space station. The organisms seem to be a type of sea plankton and how they remained alive in space is what seems to be troubling scientists. According to Sploid, Russian scientists are both “shocked by [the] discovery and can’t really explain how [it] is possible.”
“Results of the experiment are absolutely unique,” Russian ISS Orbital Mission Chief Vladimir Solovyev told the ITAR-TASS News Agency. “This should be studied further.”
To some of us we might already believe in aliens, others may not hold that belief, either way; this is cool news because it further shows the possibility of life in space for those that currently don’t believe it’s possible.
Some scientists believe that the organisms were carried from the ocean by uplifting air currents. Since the organisms are not native to Baikanour, Kazakhstan where the vessel took off, many don’t believe they were brought up during flight. This makes it very difficult to answer the question: “How did they get there?”
The organisms found on the vessel have a mouth, limbs, digestive tract, muscles, and a nervous system! They are aliens! Just not in the typical sense we may picture when thinking about life in space. Known as tardigrades, these little creatures are amazing at enduring harsh conditions, which is why drawing the conclusion that they could have originated in space isn’t so tough.
To believers in aliens this is a mainstream discovery that will help open the minds of those who deny any possibility of life in space.
UFOs and Water
Carl Feindt, Fletcher Gray and I were filmed recently for the Hangar 1 Television show and I was impressed by Carl’s book “UFOs and Water.”
Carl Feindt as a boy carved balsa replicas of flying machines and in his teens flew model aircraft. He became a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol and went on to study aircraft engineering at the Academy of Aeronautics in New York City. Following two years of service in the Air Force, he joined a major airline where he worked for over three decades.
Upon retirement he became active in Ufology and did research for Jan Aldrich. Over the course of eight years, he studied microfilm at the University of Delaware between 1923 and 1967. To his amazement, he found 750 UFO-related articles in Delaware. Intrigued by the fact that aircraft, as we know them, cannot emerge from water or submerge into water, he started assembling water-related UFO cases that has grown increasingly.
He book starts with various UFO abduction stories to reveal the physical changes observed by the abductees, on the water environment. Whether one believes in the reality of abductions or not, the stories of the physical aspects of the UFOs involved in these tales remains consistent with the stories described by others that have NOT been abducted. Hi George, Last week you published an article within your newsletter entitled “ISIS Terror Attacks” which contained the following paragraph:
Islamic State fighters backed by tanks have captured 21 Kurdish villages over the past weekend in northern Syria near the Turkish border, prompting two hundred thousand civilians to flee their homes.
ISIS has a record of attacking schools and beheading children that they will likely attempt in the West. When police and parents rush to schools in suburban and rural areas they will ambush them for the maximum publicity.
These attacks will cripple any economy and possibly create a Constitutional crisis as the population demands action against this insurgency within the country.
I point this out to you, because imagine my shock when I read your newsletter just five days after I received the following information.
“What is important to know right now about the atrocities that isis is playing out in the public eye…such as beheadings. This is only the tip of the ice berg in terms of what is planned next.
ISIS has plotted one of the most horrific games of total barbarity that one can imagine. They are taking fear and violence to the next level and plan to bring this to America’s doorstep when they address the vulnerability of children live on screen to the horror of millions who are watching helplessly as the news covers this tragedy live and in color. They plan to cut their throats. They have done this already. Look up news reports for isis killing children by cutting their throats.
They have no problem doing this, and right now they plan to attack a Christian school in the u.s. within the next three months. This could go into next year if certain factors affect the timing, but it is targeted for December amidst the Christmas backdrop…a Christmas play or pageant or concert at a Christian school is the prime target. They will lock down the event and force parents to watch the slaughter of their children and then kill the parents. This is targeted for Dallas, Texas…but has backup locations prepared as well and in fact may be a multi-city event.
The FBI is launching a campaign asking the public for help in identifying foreign fighter terrorists, the bureau announced Tuesday while setting up an online form for submitting potential tips. “We need the public’s assistance in identifying U.S. persons going to fight overseas with terrorist groups or who are returning home from fighting overseas,” said Michael Steinbach, assistant director of the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division. Kobani Kurdish City is Fighting ISIS
Turkish-Syrian border (CNN) — Intense street fighting raged in the Kurdish Syrian city of Kobani of 40,000 as ISIS continues its attack and its attempt to capture the key city on the border with Turkey. ISIS fighters planted their flag on a hill on the eastern side of Kobani, and then punched through defenses to open up the route for more troops to move inside the city. ISIS has raised flags from a hilltop on the eastern side of the city and from a building in the southern entrance. Kurdish forces claim they are running low on ammunition. As ISIS fighters attacked with tanks and heavy artillery, the city’s defenders vowed to keep fighting. The US launched several air strikes allegedly knocking out some ISIS fighting positions.
Heavy casualties occurred on both sides of the fighting as clashes spread from street to street. Kurdish forces have successfully pushed some ISIS forces back to the edge of the city.
Idris Nassan, deputy foreign minister of Kobani district, told Reuters by phone. “This is their biggest retreat since their entry into the city and we can consider this as the beginning of the countdown of their retreat from the area.”
Islamic State had been advancing on the strategically important town from three sides and pounding it with artillery despite dogged resistance from heavily outgunned Kurdish forces.
Defense experts said it was unlikely that the advance could be halted by air power alone — a fact that left not only Washington but also the Syrian Kurds’ ethnic kin across the border demanding to know why the Turkish tanks lined up within sight of Kobani had not rolled across the frontier.
The fall of the city would carry huge symbolic and strategic weight, giving ISIS sway over an uninterrupted swatch of land between the Turkish border and its self-declared capital in Raqqa, Syria, 62 miles away. The Turkish military and police using tear gas, blocked people fleeing the embattled city from crossing the border. Kurdish riots with 19 killed are occurring throughout Turkey requesting Turkish intervention into Kobani.
ISIS managed to close in on Kobani on three sides despite airstrikes by the United States and allied forces. US Central Command boss Army Gen. Lloyd Austin said, participating allies were flying sorties at the very moment. Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia all contributed forces to the initial waves. The ISIS forces are well spread out and recent airstrikes took out several fighting positions near Kobani.
A B-1 bomber circled Kobani for almost an hour attempting to locate targets flying slow with wings extended.
One senior military official said many ISIS targets in Kobani are too close to the Turkish border or Kurdish forces to strike inside the city. Coordination between ground forces and air strikes is important for effective support of the ground forces. I was trained as a Forward Air Controller and hopefully some controllers will be put in place in Kobani to coordinate the attacks. I also flew C-130s and suggest we send in C-130 gunships with two state-of-the-art fire-control systems that can see through the dark of night, clouds, and smoke. An AC-130U has a 25mm Gatling gun for area suppression, a precision 40mm cannon, and a 105mm cannon which can engage hard targets.

Jimmy Church is a friend of mine who introduced this underwater base to the world by posting them on his website after discovery by a listener of Jimmy’s live radio program Fade to Black on DarkMatterRadio.net. Jimmy appeared with George Noory on October 2, 2014, Jimmy Church, discussed his work researching and breaking the story about the Malibu deep underwater “base” or platform on Coast to Coast.
Discovered through sonar mapping and topology studies, the top of the structure is 150 feet down, which suggests that it was above the water 10,000 years ago, he reported. Robbert van den Broeke writes, “The crop circle phenomenon raises many questions. How are they? Who or what makes them? What is their message? Below I briefly summarize what happens to me just before, and during, the emergence of a circle (formation).”
The earth has a nervous system, a network of energy channels that is invisible to most people. In several places there are in the energetic network mount points, a kind of funnel where cosmic energy enters the earth. It works basically like a magnet attracts metal. By an interaction between cosmic and earthly energy creates crop circles and symbols. The energy lines of the earth are very dirty and clogged with man (by pollution and wars) induced negative energy and should be, say, ‘angioplasty’. During the cleaning they initially create a crop circle on a mount point. Then a loving energy is given for all living beings. The symbols that appear are signs of our subconscious, a key to spiritual wisdom to evolve. After the cleaning of the energy network circles remain and can be visited, which provides their energy to heal or strengthen humans. After visiting a crop circle you often get an insight into life’s issues. The energy of the formation also affects the consciousness of the people in their own environment, but each person decides what he or she does with that energy.
Since my fifteenth year I can sense when and where a crop circle will arise. They can occur in grain as well as other crops, such as grass, and even in snow. It always starts with the same kind of feeling, often a week in advance. That feeling is best described as happy and loving. As it gets stronger, I get pictures from the area where the formation occurs; sometimes I even get street names. I may also obtain data on how the formation will look and I make a sketch of it right away. The sketch often turns out to correspond with reality. I often get a strong feeling just after midnight so strong that I have to go. I always call a good friend of mine who goes with me and I know exactly where we have to drive to. It is an inner knowing. When we arrive the circle is often already there, but once I saw the circles themselves arrive. I’ve observed orbs several times as the formation appeared. Nancy Talbott (of BLT Research Inc), has scientifically researched me and the crop circle phenomenon for over 15 years, Nancy is also a good friend of mine, and also witnessed the emergence of a circle formation and filmed orbs.

Sun City — I started seeing strange glowing objects in the sky in 2012. I considered them strange because I never saw anything move so fast or change colors and shape like this did on August 25, 2012. I brushed it off. I moved to another city not far from the first and again I started to see fast moving glowing objects in the sky. I have now installed security cameras and captured amazing footage. Vail– I am a MUFON Investigator currently inactive and work as a security officer at a facility in Vail. I was patrolling outside on September 15, 2014, at about 6:35 AM and the moon was visible and in the 4th quarter. Below and to the right of the moon I noticed a bright hovering object in the sky, that was too big to be a planet, and it was already too bright out for these to be visible.
I took several pictures with my IPhone at 6:40 AM, and checked ‘Heavens Above’ website but there was no star in the area. I then went out and watched with numerous employees as the object started moving slowly east at 6:57 AM. By 8 AM the object had flown to the SSE. The FAA told me there were no large balloons in the area. Denver TV 9 News/KUSA had similar video of a high speed UFO. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Port Saint Joe — My aunt took four pictures of one of their houses on September 29, 2014. After I zoomed in to look at the picture of the house I noticed something above it that has a circular body with what seems to be two triangular type appendages such as wings attached to it. When zoomed in you can see a slight change in color where the appendage meets the circular body, suggesting a change in depth or texture. There were no kites being flown, birds, or jets were nearby. Miami — I was taking panoramic pictures with my Iphone-5 on October 2, 2014, and one of the last pictures shows an object. Before or after picture do not show the object.

Silver Creek – On October 4, 2014, I looked up to the bright moon which was and noticed a yellow air/jet stream near the moon. I looked up the stream and saw a very bright, hovering, yellow light. My step-dad was also looking and described it as being “like a missile moving extremely fast straight up.” After a few seconds it abruptly changed direction and flew over us. We yelled to my Mom, and everyone in the house came running out in their pajamas. They were all amazed as the UFO blinked a white light, then it was gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Noblesville — A friend posted this picture in an instagram that had a ufo in the photo taken for his photography project. The photo was taken on the lake on July 7, 2014.

Missouri State Troopers Triangle Close Encounter
Joplin— “I work in law enforcement as a State Trooper, so I don’t want my real name used. I’ve never seen anything like this before. I was driving north alone on Highway 49 at 5:12 AM, on September 2, 2014, when a light caught my eye to the NE. As I drove closer I slowed the vehicle because it was too low to be a plane. I then noticed structure of the object as it flew slowly towards me. As it got closer I noticed a teardrop or triangular shaped craft.
I saw three rectangular yellowish glowing windows on the top with movement inside. The craft was at least 100 feet+ wide and 25 feet high. It was black metallic craft with amber and red glowing lights that were a foot to two feet in diameter. There was a low hum coming from the object as it passed and then spun around like a top and reversed direction. I heard a loud static noise come from my radio for 15 seconds. Marlton— I was stopped at a red light at the Route 73 intersection, and looked up to see a bright, greenish-white orb of light move across the sky on October 3, 2014. It appeared to leave a white trail, maybe a fireball. It didn’t look that far up in the sky, pretty close actually. After 3 or 4 seconds it just disappeared in the clouds. My daughter and I were going to town and decided to take a couple of fall pictures with my phone. The two pictures I took were less than 5-10 seconds apart. The first picture has weird smoke circles. Lake Erie — I was watching the 11 o’clock newscast in Erie on September 26, 2014, and at the end they always use a live camera shot from the top of the antenna camera. That night unlike others I noticed something out over the lake. It was moving slowly from right to left; much too slow to be a plane and much larger than a helicopter. It’s a cigar shape with a small strip of light missing in the middle. I was able to record it. I have never noticed anything out of the ordinary like this shot. Boissucanga, São Sebasti — I have a video footage of an OVNI shining lights at the southeastern Brazilian shore last Saturday October 4, 2014. The objects were noticed as the sun went down and its lights became strong.
The object was completely still since we found it flying in the sky. The distance was too long and the light was so sharp that it does not refer to a balloon, helicopter or anything we already know of. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Canada Blue Light
Montreal – During a weather forecast on October 2, 2014, a green UFO shot past Colette Provencher the weather announcer at 10:37 PM. The news anchor was oblivious to the UFO, but it was noticed by the camera man and later posted to their news site. The green UFO descends very slowly and turns orange before the sky is clear.
Hong Kong – UFOs have been seen and recorded around the world over the protests areas on September 30, 2014. This UFO is round and moving from the sky downward toward active Hong Kong protesters.
At the end of the video we see the UFO shoot up and disappear. Although this is unidentified, it could be a news or government drone recording the protesters activities. Tel Aviv — My partner and I were sitting facing west at 6:25PM, with the balcony open on October 3, 2014. All of a sudden we noticed a flat white object flying slowly and silently at sunset over the ocean. It is Yom Kippur in Israel, and all flights in the country stopped a couple of hours before then. A smaller object appeared further away. Both of them kept flying silently at identical speed and gradually got further away when both disappeared. Japan Volcano’s UFOs
Mt. Ontake– The Volcano erupted this week in Japan, and was broadcasted all over national news on September 29, 2014. One person in Japan caught these two white UFOs come from the mountain area. They were heading into the cloud to hide. Over 36 people are feared dead from this volcano’s explosion and UFOs are seen in the area! Did aliens cause the explosion when the ships exited the volcano mouth, or is all coincidence?
Doors into underground bases are made by the ground being squeezed into a hollow tunnel so that the ship can come and go. Operations could cause slight earthquakes resulting in eruptions if near a volcano. Perhaps they predicted the eruption and wanted to record the event for research. Thanks to ufosightingsdaily.com

Liverpool — I was trying to record the strange noise outside on October 3, 2014 that I hear all the time. So I setup my mike at 7:21 pm, and started the test recording on my laptop.
Then I looked up and saw the object so I grabbed my camera and started recording the object. About 5 minutes later I saw it again; but by the time I turned on my camera it had gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS
Kington, Herefordshire — The object variously travelled in an east to west zigzag flight pattern, as it came from a southerly direction on September 22:2014.
The object had a bright lighted shape with Christmas tree like multiple lights flying low from the south. The object ended up behind trees at the bottom of a field which contained sheep 200 yards from our house. The white triangular object was observed for about ten minutes. Later, a sheep was found dead near a farm gate.

(N.Morgan) An amazing discovery has brought some rather intriguing UFO photos to light and they belonged to an Air Force Captain. In these photos below, you can clearly see flying saucers around what appears to be an military installation. Does this conclusively prove that UFOs are our military’s weaponry? These interesting photos of a disc-shaped UFO were just reported to MUFON. They were allegedly taken in April 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Here’s the report from the submitter: My wife and I found these 5 incredible daytime disc Polaroid photos in an old photo album belonging to her grandfather, who was a captain in the air force and was stationed in Albuquerque NM from 1961-1965. the man seen in the picture pointing to the object is my wife’s grandfather. i scanned these photos in and blew them up and they are very compelling. If it was a hoax, it’s a good one.
A friend of mine was flying on a commercial airliner from New York to California when he saw another airplane that appeared to be leaving a con-trail or a chem-trail. He knows that I am interested in chem-trails so he decided to take a few pictures of the plane to send to me. After looking at the pictures I noticed that there was something else in the picture that did not seem like it should be there. The image quality is pretty high, it was taken with an iPhone camera. When I zoomed in on the object it appeared to have structure. I tried to rule out things like it being dirt on the outside window, but he took a total of 3 pictures out the same window and this object is only visible in two of them, which would lead me to believe it was not some sort of smudge or something like that. I think he might have accidentally captured a craft of some kind, that might have actually been following the plane that was leaving the trails.
“The fourth friend, Dale, and I were in the service together during the Vietnam conflict, and I've known him since the early 70s. His father worked for over 20 years for the NSA and he is the one who sent me the MJ-12 documents his father had obtained.
“These documents, the New MJ-12 Charter signed by Proxy during the Reagan administration and the Attachment D to the Eisenhower MJ-12 Briefing Document, which is the Autopsy Report from Roswell, are included as attachments in my book Alien Rapture.
“The fifth friend, Bud, was a DoD Contractor and Electronics Engineer. He had worked on Top Secret development programs dealing with Electronic Counter Measures, Radar Homing and Warning, ECM Jammers, and Infrared Receivers. He retired as a Program Manager and later died of a brain tumor within 30 days after his symptoms appeared.”
Fouche’s friend described the TR-3B as he observed it flying over the Papoose S-4 Area, a completely silent 600-foot triangular shaped craft with a corona of silver blue light around the circumference. The craft are nicknamed Astra under the Top Secret Aurora Program funded by SDI black budget monies. “It is funded and operationally tasked by the National Reconnaissance Office, the NSA, and the CIA,” said Fouche’. During an extensive interview with Paola Harris from the ExopoliticsYahooGroup website (Dr. Michael E. Salla, 12/08/06.), Fouche’ divulged some extensive dynamics of the TR-3B aircraft. He explained at length:
“Sandia and Livermore laboratories developed the reverse engineered MFD technology. The government will go to any lengths to protect this technology. The plasma, mercury based, is pressurized at 250,000 atmospheres at a temperature of 150 degrees Kelvin and accelerated to 50,000 rpm to create super-conductive plasma with the resulting gravity disruption. The MFD generates a magnetic vortex field, which disrupts or neutralizes the effects of gravity on mass within proximity, by 89 percent.
“Do not misunderstand. This is not antigravity. Anti-gravity provides a repulsive force that can be used for propulsion. The MFD* creates a disruption of the Earth’s gravitational field upon the mass within the circular accelerator. The mass of the circular accelerator and all mass within the accelerator, such as the crew capsule, avionics, MFD systems, fuels, crew environmental systems, and the nuclear reactor, are reduced by 89%. This causes the effect of making the vehicle extremely light and able to outperform and outmaneuver any craft yet constructed – except, of course, those UFOs we did not build.” (* Magnetic Field Disrupter.)
A new element acted as a catalyst to maintain the plasma, said Fouche’. The vehicle’s mass can easily perform at Mach 9 both vertically and horizontally. With the 89% reduction in mass, any pilot endured the G forces entailed.
Fouche’ explained that the craft was a “high altitude, stealth, reconnaissance platform with an indefinite loiter time. Once you get it up there at speed, it doesn’t take much propulsion to maintain altitude.” There was a list of aerodynamic characteristics:
The TR-3 was a sub-Mach 9 vehicle until it reached altitudes above l20, 000 feet – then its speed was fantastic.
The three multimode rocket engines mounted under each corner of the craft use hydrogen or methane and oxygen as a propellant. In a liquid oxygen/hydrogen rocket system, 85% of the propellant mass was oxygen. The nuclear thermal rocket engine used a hydrogen propellant, augmented with oxygen for additional thrust. The reactor heated the liquid hydrogen and injected liquid oxygen in the supersonic nozzle, so that the hydrogen burned concurrently in the liquid oxygen afterburner.
The three rocket engines only had to propel 11 percent of the mass of the Top Secret TR-3B.
Rockwell reportedly built the engines. Many sightings of triangular UFOs were not alien vehicles but the top-secret TR-3B. The NSA, NRO, CIA, and USAF have been playing a shell game with aircraft nomenclature – creating the TR-3, modified to the TR-3A, the TR-3B, and the Teir 2, 3, and 4, with suffixes like Plus or Minus added on to confuse further the fact that each of these designators were a different aircraft and not the same aerospace vehicle.
The TR-3B was the most exotic aerospace program in existence. 'TR' stood for tactical reconnaissance, which meant the craft was designed to get to the target and stay there as long as is necessary in order to send back information.
A nuclear reactor that operated for a long time without refueling powered it. This also allowed it to hover silently for long periods.
Located in the center of the triangle was the circular crew compartment and surrounding this was a plasma filled accelerator ring called a Magnetic Field Disrupter (MFD).
“A source who worked on the TR-3B said their goal was to put a third propulsion system on board so you could routinely reach the Moon or Mars,” said Fouche’.
He explained that it might be possible to modify the MFD technology so that it not only reduced mass, but also created a force that repelled gravity. Therefore, this would be a true anti-gravity system, which was believed to be in use by UFOs.
Just as Edward Snowden made huge headlines (and still is) all over the world, William Binney did the same in 2001 when he resigned from the National Security Agency (NSA) after 9/11 and blew the lid on an NSA mass surveillance program.

He worked for the agency for more than thirty years, and was the leading code-breaker against the Soviet Union during the Cold War. He’s had quite the run, starting in 2002 when he let the public know of a system (‘trailblazer’) intended to analyze data carried on communication networks (like the internet). He exposed the agencies eavesdropping program and has faced harassment from the FBI, NSA and more. He has been in and out ofthe court room ever since he decided to resign and blow the whistle.

Binney was recently interviewed on 9/11 Free Fall Radio, where he said:
“We selectively ignore basic facts. What I mean by a basic fact is something that’s just there that needs to be addressed, even if they can’t explain it they should have said “we can’t explain this but it’s there” so they at least recognize that this basic fact existed. My problem is, just like the UFO thing, unless they start addressing these kinds of things, peoples observations or basic measurements or factual evidence that simply exists, unless they start addressing them there’s always going to be questions, especially now with the government, how much trust do you have with this government? They’ve been spying, putting whistle blowers in jail, torturing, and giving immunity to people who commit these kinds of crimes, how much trust can you put in a government like that? It’s great to hear someone who had such a long career with the NSA mention UFOs (although many high ranking defence personnel have made remarkable statements: see here), and the importance of governments addressing the phenomenon that is flooded with “people’s observations” and “factual evidence.” Clearly, Binney is aware of the phenomenon and the seriousness of the issue.

WILL NORTH AMERICAN GOVERNMENTS EVER PROPERLY ADDRESS THE UFO PHENOMENON?
Binney brings up a great point, and for him to put UFOs and “factual evidence” in the same category was great and very brave of him.
The NSA (for example) has released files that clearly indicate their interest in the UFO phenomenon, HERE is one example, and HERE is another, documenting in detail an encounter military jets had with a UFO when they were ordered to go take a look at them (common phenomenon). I still wouldn’t call releasing these files properly addressing the questions and concerns of the people. Dozens of other governments around the world have released thousands of previously classified UFO documentation, yet important questions still remain that they have not addressed. The release of these files indicate that governments and defense agencies have documented, studied and allocated resources to studying the UFO phenomenon, and have kept the fact that they are doing so a secret for a very long time. You can be sure that a lot of information on the subject probably still remains heavily classified. They are holding all of this information, and have gathered so much of it yet we don’t have any access to it.
It’s not a secret that governments keep secrets, the United States alone classifies approximately 500 million pages of documents every year, and the release of previously classified information is a great example of that.
So will North American governments ever properly address the UFO phenomenon? I don’t know, but the information is leaking out there regardless. Again, they’ve been studying and gathering information on this phenomenon for decades, and they have access to information and data that we don’t, and that’s not fair.

Whether our governments agree to properly address the issue and share with us the information they’ve accumulated over the years or not, the answers will come in the form of whistleblowers, leaked documents (like wikileaks) or something else.

Everyone’s heard of Stonehenge. You could probably venture into the Amazonian jungle and seek out an untouched tribe of hunter-gatherers, spend months gaining their trust and learning their language, fighting off dysentery while you’re at it, and when their chief finally makes you an honorary member of their society, against the emphatic advice of his shaman, you could ask them if they’ve heard of Stonehenge, and the answer would probably be: yes.
Some might say that’s overstating the matter a touch, but the point stands. The sarsen stones of Wiltshire are famous; they’ve made their way into popular culture the world over. Though, would it surprise you to know that Stonehenge isn’t the only megalithic stone circle in the world? Probably not, but most don’t realise that there are somewhere on the order of 5000 stone circles around the world. Some exist as collections of circles, like the Senegambian circles in Gambia, Senegal, which are counted as one circle in the global list, but which actually consists of more than 1000 individual monuments covering an area of 15,000 square miles.
Great Britain boasts a large number of these Neolithic sites, but they don’t have a monopoly on henges, as they’re called over there. One of their neighbours actually has quite a few as well.
Standing alongside such geological oddities as Russia’s Manpupuner stone pillars, or the Seven Sleeping Giants, some of the most interesting Neolithic monuments stand within the borders of the former Soviet Union.
Arkaim is one of those sites. Arkaim, or Аркаим in Russian, is considered by some to be the most important and enigmatic archaeological site in northern Europe. The site is wrapped in controversy and is sometimes referred to as Russia’s Stonehenge. It sits on the outskirts of the Chelyabinsk oblast in the southern Urals, just north of the Kazakhstan border. Though it’s not a stone circle in the way that Stonehenge is a stone circle.

Arkaim is the remnants of an ancient settlement, which is basically a village that was fortified by two large stone circular walls. The settlement covers an area of some 220,000sq-ft and consists of two circles of dwellings separated by a street, with a central community square in the center. The site was discovered (rediscovered?) in 1987 by a team of Russian archaeologists, and a wave of excitement washed through the world of archaeology. The site and associated artefacts have been dated to the 17th century BCE and it’s generally agreed that it was built somewhere between 4000-5000 years ago, which puts it in the same age bracket as Stonehenge.
Arkaim has another name, one that’s not exactly kosher. It’s called Swastika City, or alternately Mandala City. It has this name for a couple reasons, firstly, if one uses their imagination, the layout of the dwellings around the central square almost looks like it’s in the shape of a swastika. As we all know the swastika is the misappropriated sign of the Nazis and of the so-called Aryan race, and which has been adopted by modern white-supremacy groups. The second reason is that the settlement is thought to have been of the Sintashta culture, which is an Indo-Iranian race (actually a language identity) of the ancient Eurasian Steppe, or in common terms, the Aryan race. So, as you can see, there are those who would like to assert that Arkaim is in fact the birthplace of the superior white race of humans, though few in mainstream science see any value in that line of reasoning.
The site holds more interesting secrets than just its association to a politically incorrect aspect of our culture however.
It has been of great interest to archaeoastronomers, and therein lies the reason for its association with Stonehenge. It’s long been known that Stonehenge has and was built with astronomical observation in mind. In fact it’s technically called an observatory. Stonehenge allowed for, and possibly may still allow for observations of 10 astronomical phenomena using 22 elements, whereas some archaeoastronomers claim that Arkaim allows for observations of 18 phenomena using 30 elements. This essentially means that certain events in the sky could be observed and tracked by using the site in particular ways and from different positions, and that Arkaim offered more observable events than Stonehenge.
Arkaim as it exists today
It would seem that Arkaim is an even better astronomical observatory than its namesake. According to Russian archaeologist K.K. Bystrushkin Stonehenge offers an observational accuracy of 10-arc minutes to a degree, whereas Arkaim offers accuracy of 1-arc minute.[1] This precision is unheard of in the time frame allowed, and was only surpassed by that documented in the Almagest of ancient Greece some 2000 years later.
It may seem obvious to some, but the fact that these sites were apparently constructed, deliberately, to act as astronomical observatories and even calendars of a sort, before the same expertise was achieved in the great foundational empires of antiquity, like the Egyptians and the Greeks, is seemingly strong evidence for attributing greater development and sophistication to these pre-historic cultures. The more conspiratorial among us might even say that these sites offer clues to the existence of an unknown or lost civilization in our distant past.
Arkaim is but one example of the rich archaeological bounty hidden away in the Russian interior. Similar sites have been lost to industrial progress, such as Sarkel, a limestone and brick fortress built by the Khazar culture in 830AD, which was flooded by the Russian government for the construction of the Tsimlyansk resevior in 1952. Due to the secrecy and lack of academic cooperation during the cold war and possibly to language barriers, many such sites still exist, but have yet to be explored and analysed, and more still are yet to be discovered.
Exclusive new video posted to YouTube on October 4, 2014, reveals the performance of a daylight flying saucer recorded in high-definition multi-sensor color as it passes through the local UFO corridor near Vancouver City Hall. During his initial report Canadian videographer Les Murzsa stated by voicemail how his instrumental documentation shows a black disc “doing the wobbles and flipping over” while flying along a linear northwestern trajectory just after 6:00 p.m. PST on the evening of September 25, 2014.
In an email delivered on the eve of publication, Les Murzsa wrote to this reporter how he “received confirmation” from his Pleiadian extraterrestrial spirit guide (who goes by the name of “Paymo”) that “it was her flying that saucer.” The videographer went on to describe confirmation received as an inner vision during one of many out-of-body experiences that accompany his ongoing contact-oriented lifestyle.

“Rather than telling me the information she showed me something instead. I was out of body and I was shown Paymo posing next to her saucer. She was smiling, standing in uniform with the saucer parked next to her. It was parked upright so that I could see underneath. It was a grey, metallic craft no more than 20 feet in diameter and I could see the inner rings underneath. There was at least one round ring and also one ring that resembled the hexagonal shape [discovered during image enhancement],” he wrote.

A White Halo and the Lamoureux Legacy
With contrast enhancement a pronounced white halo accompanying this latest Vancouver flying saucer (as seen in the raw footage) becomes strikingly visible. The same post-production technique applied to video images of the similarly dark roof of the house from where observation occurred, recorded with the same camera, imaging parameters and lighting conditions within minutes before the UFO was captured does not replicate this artifact. The results of such an investigative analysis invite speculation concerning how the halo seen in the video may represent a cloud of charged particles surrounding the disc in its flight through the Earth’s atmosphere.
The appearance of such an object imaged at this Mount Pleasant location invokes the 1937 Vancouver City Hall UFO recorded on film by Leonard Lamoureux. From a comparable perspective that image clearly depicts an object in flight along a linear trajectory surrounded by a cloud of particles in an eye-like configuration whose wake trails towards the left of the frame. Related family member astronomer Charles Lamoureaux’s contemporary night vision video collection recorded from his Yaletown apartment is also populated with what he describes as an intelligently-controlled “wobbler” UFO shown by multiple cameras to stop and change direction in flight.
Redundancy is Decisive
As with all of his previous footage, Les Murzsa used the JVC GZ-HD7US high-definition video camcorder to capture this latest flying saucer incident. That camera’s redundant triple sensor array combined with patented Focus Assist technology (plus additional neutral density filtration) guarantees accurate color and a precisely defined focal plane achieving an unshakable lock on the subject in 1080i HD resolution during the period of observation. JVC’s built-in Fujinon lens has also been cited by one online reviewer for an absence of Lateral Chromatic Aberration, further limiting the role of possible misfocused color wavelengths in producing the white specter.
The September 25, 2014, flying saucer video represents the second of two similar events recorded by Canadian UFO videographer Les Murzsa from the same location at almost the same time of day just over five years apart. The use of triple-sensor imaging in both instances satisfies minimum requirements for redundant systems limiting the role of camera and interpretative errors. Combined with the above-mentioned Lamoureux family legacy of recording similar objects in the same neighborhood using film and dual night vision arrays over two different centuries compounds the validity of these observations.
After all, citations of only three related events were used by former United States Secretary of Transportation and Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Norman Mineta to explain how he determined when to ground the entire multi-billion dollar United States airline industry during the third quarter of 2001. Through repeated testimony he explained that “When you see one of something happen, it’s an accident. When you see two of the same thing happening, it’s a trend. When you see three, it’s a plan.”
Beyond the Call
Vancouver’s UFO videographers have met and exceeded such a Mineta standard through the publication of their video results on free publicly-accessible distribution platforms like YouTube. Their actions are blowing the whistle on what can only be described as otherwise ridiculous lip-service activists through the delivery of consistent and timely results. These efforts persist in spite of mainstream media attempts at debunking via gotcha comments from so-called reality television personalities. Their evidence also defies extremist rhetoric that would deny freedom of speech in articulating Pleiadian influences along with the possibility that UFOs can be imaged by any means at all.

He is flying high over lush green tree landscape, over rolling tree lined hills and though he knows that it must be night, within the tractor light-beam, under a moving craft, the fields and countryside below are lit up as though it were day, but he knows it's night, because he is told that he is dreaming.
For a few brief seconds, until he is drawn into the craft, he sees the green granular nature of the trees below, and feels the a visual exhilaration of flying, but rather than fear, he is filled with a combined sense of peace and joyous happiness.
He marvels at the texture and color of his neighborhood, and his movement above it.
He is dreaming, but he is awake. The smaller craft lands near a much larger ship, hiding in plain sight, in a field.
He is told by a small dark grey alien, always just out of sight, that he is to wait on line, for a tour of a country estate.
He is numb and is dreaming. but he feels that he is awake.
He moves forward, people in front of him and in back of him, on a narrow path surrounded by a false screen memory of a flat, unidimensional static scene, a photograph of an English garden.
It is hot and humid with the rank smell of soil.
People clutch what looks like brochures and move slowly in a single line, towards the country estate., bored, and mildly interested.
He approaches the door of the large alien craft.
A ticket taker sits at the entrance way, on a stool behind a lectern, observing the entering crowd, seen as a slim teenager.
He thinks it odd, that such a young caretaker should seemingly be in charge, and as he lifts his eyes to meet the teen's gaze, the young boy turns into a kindly old man.
“It's mind control, not shape-shifting”, he is told, by a sonorous tour-guide's voice, in answer to his unasked thought.
Everyone is awake but also dreaming.
Inside is a waiting room, dirty, dull and round, a white room with no adornments and a black floor.
He awakens, dreaming.
It is a dream within a dream.
Awake again, briefly, he is dreaming while standing upright, walking in his sleep, climbing a steep metal stairway ladder path-bridge, that leads to a very large room at the top of the stairs.
Someone in front of him dreams, and wakes up dreaming.
He looks to his right, as he climbs, to see an enormous domed -curved window which makes up the staircase's whole upper wall of the alien craft, and as he climbs, feeling very numb, he pauses, and stops the line of mass abducted people.
He looks out of the window and sees the Earth and the Moon, opposite each other, hanging in the blackness of space.
He places his arms on the curved railing where the staircase meets the bottom of the window and cups his chin on his hands, to understand the raw beauty of what he sees:

The Earth, in the far right portion of the glass window, hangs suspended in a black nothingness, swimming in blue-white haze; a large red area the desert of North Africa, or the Arabian peninsula.
Silver and bright, the Moon, far to the left portion of the glass, also hung suspended in a black nothingness.
Far away, violet splashes of nebulae and points of red pinpoint starlight intersperse with millions of white stars.
Chin in his hands, he leaned over and says in a wistful, admiring tone,
“These people who live at THIS estate have some view; what a view!”
The small dark grey alien tour guide was startled and the window's 3-D space scene, becomes a painted uni-dimensional flat portrait, of an English garden landscape.
Chin in hands, still looking out of the window, but now at the expanse of poster-like green lawn, of a garden landscape, he dully repeats, They DO have a nice view.”
The tour guide, startled to hear him repeat this praise, seemingly unaware that the scene of the garden had already worked to distract him, knee-jerk- reflex -overreacted; he is slammed with a mind control jolt.
The alien creature tightens and magnifies its short psychic leash of control to throw him into a vivid emotional ecstasy, to look down at his feet and away from the window's view.
The simple metallic ladder- path underfoot, transforms into carved inlaid wood one, delicately patterned and dazzlingly ornate, an inlaid ebony and maple wood design, cryptic and deeply beautiful in motif and complexity.
He is forced to kneel to examine it, his eyes now away from the stars, Earth and moon, seen outside the curved window .
Powerful awe, love, and wood admiration, a godlike reverence flashes through his mind at the mirage of the wood designed staircase, suspended in air.
Complex, gorgeous and lushly constructed in multicolored woods, a forced religious awe coursed through his brain, which thrilled him, an tsunami of deep awe for the dazzling wood pattern, and for the unknown architect, overwhelms and distracts him, an attempt to get him to forget what he had seen outside of the craft's window.
The sleeping line of climbing people is stopped by his fawning and repeated examination of the simple metal staircase, as he repeatedly retraces his steps to examine it, in a rapture.
The tour guide, just out of sight, presumed that it was enough to have worked and a paternal, impatient voice, now said in his head, “Just keep going; it will be there for you to see, when you get back.”
“But, things change so quickly, in dreams”, he thought ,” and this gorgeous wood stairway, will likely not be there.”
He lingers, enthralled.
The alien ' guide', who had him and all the others within a snug cocoon of illusion, had deftly made a simple metal staircase, the un-rightful recipient of that stolen awe, of the magnificent scene viewed outside the craft's window.
But when he awakened, he DID remember the staircase and then his awe of the spectacular space scene outside the curved window of the alien craft; ” Astounding creatures, uncanny, psychic, mind-bending, leash-controls.” he had dully thought when he awoke exhausted, with a dull headache and a copious nose bleed, more tired getting up, than he had been, going to bed.

MERIDA, Yucatan – A new report concerning the presence of an unidentified flying object came in from the port of Progreso, were it is said several strange lights were seen last weekend.
According to the information provided by Manuel Loría Alejos, a fan of the UFO subject for over 20 years, he went to the port on Friday, 26 September [2014] to spend the weekend at his family's home, an activity they have been doing for several years.

“For nearly two decades I've read anything and everything concerning the subject of UFOs, but I had never had the chance to see one until Friday, when I saw a strange light of the horizon in the company of my father, my wife, brothers and children. But it wasn't just any light, as I have seen many documentaries and I can tell when reflections, aircraft or other logical phenomena are involved and could be labeled unidentified.
“It was a very bright blue light, traveling first in a straight line then zig-zagging. I was the first to notice it while we were on the beach near Yucalpetén. I immediately called my family to join me in watching it, because I had the feeling it wasn't a normal light. We were able to attest this moments later, as the light began moving faster. Two minutes later, it moved upward until it vanished completely at a still greater speed.
“We were a total of six witnesses, and to tell the truth, I was very excited. While I believe in life in other planets, this is the first time I was able to see this. Unlike my father, for whom it is the third such experience. This prompted me to send you this report as soon as possible and share it with your readers – that way, if someone saw it, they can also file a report and provide more data for further investigation,” he said.
It should be noted that a considerable number of UFO sightings have been reported along the coast of Yucatan, with 80 percent being in the city and port of Progreso and its districts (Chuburná, Chelem and Chicxulub). Unfortunately, no solid evidence (photos or videos) have been secured, but a considerable number of witnesses claim seeing UFOs, including municipal and state police as well as the authorities, tour service providers and local residents. A few years ago, several reports were received from the district of Flamboyanes (located some kilometers before the entrance to Progreso). Local residents, trailer operators and people driving through the area would suddenly see strange, noiseless lights descending vertically and vanishing into the sky in the same direction and at supersonic speeds.
When interviewed, pilots claim that no airplane or helicopter can make such movements, and therefore dismiss such explanations for the sightings. Several craft with five lights each moving in formation have also been reported along Progreso's seawall. They suddenly reach high speed and vanish. The control tower at Merida International Airport reported no traffic at that time.
Another interesting case I obtained was from a well-known lawyer in Merida, who told me he had seen these vehicles entering or leaving the sea: “I'm not looking for any explanation to what I saw. I saw this from my summer home in Chelem – I even had binoculars and I was shocked by it. There is no question that the UFO phenomenon is indeed real,” he remarked.
AMAZING DISC SHAPED OBJECT WITNESSED BY MANY IN NEW JERSEY APRIL 20, 2004 ……. SEWELL-WASHINGTON TWP NEW JERSEY
On April 20th at approx. 2:30am, I was driving home from a band practice heading south bound on the same highway I take home every night. After I passed the mall exit and rounding a bend I noticed a blimp like object in the distance with these bright white lights end to end, as I got closer to the next exit that when I realized that this object wasn’t a blimp at all. It was at a stand still hover over what I knew at the time to be the landfill area which while growing up we used to go sledding down these man-made hills every winter. As I got closer the radio station that I was listening to went to static. I pulled over before the underpass and got out of my car to see what this thing was and as I got closer I saw that this was a disc shape and a little thinner then a blimp. Before I could get my entire body out of the car it started ascending and all I could hear was a slight humming sound, in one quick motion the object moved up and to the right and then it took off in a flash, it almost looked like a comet streaked across the front of me and it was gone.
After this incident no one was allowed to go sledding or even get close to the landfill site anymore, they put fences around the entire perimeter and there’s ventilation shafts coming out of the ground. I think this site is a Deep Underground Military Base or something else. I wasn’t the only one who saw this and unfortunately the other people in my party will not come forward because they’re scared of what might happen to them. This wasn’t the first time I would see a UFO, I’ve also witnessed 2 other disc-like objects in the sky in Arizona that hovered and then streaked across the sky like the one I saw up close.

Uit een nieuwe studie blijkt dat rotsschilderingen in Indonesië nog ouder zijn dan de prehistorische kunst in Europa. De vondst is een aanwijzing dat er nog veel oudere kunst is te vinden in het oosten. Ook zou het betekenen dat Europeanen niet speciaal waren in het maken van oeroude rotstekeningen. Dat meldt persbureau AP.
Archeologen hebben aan de hand van het verval van het element uranium kunnen vaststellen dat een tiental rotstekeningen van afdrukken van handen en twee gedetailleerde schilderingen van dieren tussen de 35.000 en de 40.000 jaar oud zijn. Daarmee is de rotskunst op het Indonesische eiland Celebes ouder dan tekeningen die in Spanje en een beroemde grot in Frankrijk zijn gevonden.
Het gaat onder meer om handafbeeldingen die zijn gemaakt door vloeibare oker tegen de rotswand te blazen. De oudste is ongeveer 40.000 jaar oud, de jongste zo’n 17.500 jaar. Er is niet veel bekend over wie de tekeningen maakte of waarom ze dat deden. Wel is duidelijk dat het zeevaarders moeten zijn geweest.
Eén van de Indonesische handafdrukken is tenminste 39.900 jaar oud, wat het de oudst bekende handafdruk ter wereld maakt. Het onderzoek is woensdag gepubliceerd in het tijdschrift Nature.
De tekeningen werden halverwege de vorige eeuw al ontdekt, maar men ging er altijd van uit dat ze slechts 10.000 jaar oud konden zijn, omdat ze niet langer zouden hebben kunnen bestaan in het tropische klimaat. Door de uranium-thoriumdatering is nu echter vastgesteld dat ze veel ouder zijn.
“Dit hadden we niet verwacht. Er heerst de gedachte dat vroege Europeanen meer bewust waren van zichzelf en hun omgeving,” zei hoofdonderzoeker Maxime Aubert van de Griffith-universiteit in Australië. “Nu kunnen we stellen dat dat niet waar is.”

Eyewitness testimony:
I was coming home about 1855 when I pulled into my driveway. Above and beyond my neighbors home I noticed a bright orb hovering. It reflected the sunset orange, and that is why I noticed it; besides it was a completely clear blue sky. I thought it could be a balloon or some sort of odd looking helicopter, but it didn't have any rotors.
It appeared to have rods or antenna coming out of it. I went to my backyard to get a better view. I appeared to be less than a mile away over residences. I got my camera about 5 min later and set up my tripod. I took a few photos. Then got my video camera and began to shoot video too for about 20 min. Over the approx 45 mins that I watched it, there was some wavering like it was being affected by air movement.
At times it would descend behind a large tree, then reappear slowly as it came out from behind the tree. The object remained relatively stable then started to slowly drift away to the SW until I couldn't see it anymore because it was too dark. I was intrigued by it. My photos showed that it indeed had 3 rods coming from it.

In de Melkweg leven waarschijnlijk duizenden buitenaardse beschavingen, maar de kans dat we ze ooit ontmoeten is erg klein. Dat zei directeur van het Nederlands instituut voor radioastronomie (Astron) Michael Garrett tijdens een congres in Toronto.
De astronoom zei op basis van gegevens die zijn verzameld door NASA en andere ruimteagentschappen dat de aarde één van de 40 miljard bewoonbare planeten in ons sterrenstelsel is.
Elk jaar vormt zich een nieuwe bewoonbare planeet, wat betekent dat de kans op het bestaan van buitenaardse beschavingen erg groot is. Volgens een nieuwe studie herbergt de Melkweg zo’n 3000 beschavingen.
Door de enorme omvang van de Melkweg is het volgens Garrett onwaarschijnlijk dat we signalen opvangen van geavanceerde beschavingen. “We verwachten dat beschavingen tenminste 1000 lichtjaar van elkaar zijn verwijderd,” zei hij. “Dat is een grote afstand. Beschavingen moeten in ieder geval enkele duizenden jaren bestaan om met elkaar te kunnen communiceren.”
Hij gebruikte de aarde als voorbeeld, een planeet waar eenvoudige levensvormen al miljarden jaren leefden voordat intelligent leven ontstond. “Ik wil niet negatief klinken, maar mijn conclusie is dat Seti-signalen (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) zeldzaam zijn in de Melkweg,” zei Garrett.
Bij Seti zijn de experts positiever ingesteld. In maart zei astronoom Seth Shostak dat hij verwacht binnen nu en 20 jaar contact te leggen dankzij nieuwe technologische ontwikkelingen.
