Dit is ons nieuw hondje Kira, een kruising van een waterhond en een Podenko. Ze is sinds 7 februari 2024 bij ons en druk bezig ons hart te veroveren. Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

Laatste kans om magische supermaan te zien.
Alle planeetspotters, astronomen en natuurliefhebbers opgelet. Wie dit jaar nog geen supermaan heeft kunnen bewonderen krijgt morgen de ultieme herkansing. Dinsdagnacht vindt het spektakel namelijk voor de derde keer deze zomer plaats. De volle maan lijkt dan 12 procent groter en schijnt 30 procent helderder.
Helderder, groter en imposanter: dat zijn de kernmerken van de supermaan. De maan draait niet in een cirkel, maar in een ellips rond de aarde. De afstand varieert tussen de 360.000 kilometer en 405.500 kilometer. Als de maan dicht bij de aarde staat en ook nog eens in lijn staat met de aarde en de zon (volle maan), is er sprake van een supermaan.
Als de maan het dichtst bij de aarde staat, heet dat het perigeum (nabij de aarde). Het punt waar de maan het verst van de aarde afstaat heet apogeum. Dinsdagavond zitten we in het perigeum.
Astronomen zijn over het algemeen niet zo blij met de benaming ‘supermaan’ en de opwinding die erover bestaat. De term stamt uit de astrologie en niet uit de astronomie, en daarnaast is de schijnbare grootte een optische illusie. Astronoom Neil deGrasse Tyson twitterde vorig jaar dat de benaming ‘een belediging is voor Superman, supervulkanen, supernova’s en zelfs Super Mario’.
Toch zijn drie van deze megamanen in één zomer best indrukwekkend. Ze komen gemiddeld eens in de 13,5 maanden tevoorschijn, maar we konden dit jaar op 12 juli en 10 augustus ook al getuige zijn van het fenomeen. Morgen is de laatste supermaan van dit jaar te zien.

Algemeen wordt aangenomen dat de moderne mens ongeveer 200.000 jaar geleden in Afrika is ontstaan en zich rond 60.000 jaar geleden over de rest van de wereld begon te verspreiden. Oudere botten buiten Afrika leiden steeds tot een dood spoor. Hoewel de Homo erectus tot diep in Indonesië reikte en vermoedelijk verantwoordelijk was voor het ontstaan van de neanderthaler en Denisova-mens, stierven al deze lijnen uiteindelijk uit.
De vondst van nieuwe fossiele resten in China en Zuidoost-Azië druist in tegen dit traditionele verhaal over de oorsprong van de mens. Afgelopen maand schreven Christopher Bae van de Universiteit van Hawaï in Manoa en Wei Wang van het Guangxi Museum of Nationalities in het Chinese Nanning over de ontdekking van twee tanden in de Luna-grot in de Chinese regio Guangxi Zhuang. Op basis van de afmetingen van de tanden concluderen Bae en Wang dat tenminste één van de tanden toebehoort aan een vroege Homo sapiens.
De tanden zijn zeer oud. Calcietkristallen, die zich vormden terwijl de tanden in contact kwamen met water, zijn gedateerd op 70.000 tot 125.000 jaar oud. Bae en Wang zeggen bewijs te hebben voor een vroege golf van moderne mensen in het oosten van Azië.
Hoewel nog niet definitief vaststaat dat de tanden toebehoren aan moderne mensen, zijn in Israël botten gevonden die mogelijk 150.000 jaar oud zijn. Het gaat onder meer om een bovenkaak van een moderne mens uit de Misliya-grot.
Daarnaast zijn in Zhirendong, een grot in de Chinese provincie Guizhou, kiezen en een kaakbot gevonden die meer dan 100.000 jaar oud zijn. De resten lijken toe te behoren aan een moderne mens.
“Er is krachtig bewijs dat moderne mensen rond 50.000 of 60.000 jaar geleden al aanwezig waren in Tam Pa Ling in Laos,” zei Erik Trinkaus van de Washington University in Missouri. “Moderne mensen waren ergens in deze periode al aanwezig in Zuidoost-Azië en het zuiden van China.”
Nu blijkt dat de oorspronkelijke theorie niet klopt, willen wetenschappers gaan onderzoeken of de moderne mens misschien eerder is vertrokken uit Afrika of dat verschillende soorten Homo sapiens zich los van elkaar hebben ontwikkeld.
Salar de Uyuni, de op één na grootste zoutvlakte ter wereld, en de naburige berg Pampa Auallagas herbergen mogelijk de verloren stad Atlantis. Dat stelt voormalig fotoanalist van het Britse leger en auteur Jim Allen. Hij bestudeerde satellietbeelden van de zoutvlakte (foto) en zag een aantal opmerkelijke overeenkomsten tussen de regio en Plato’s beschrijvingen van Atlantis.
Plato verwijst niet alleen naar het continent Atlantis, maar ook naar een eilandstad met de naam Atlantis. Enkel de stad zou in één dag en één nacht zijn gezonken. Allen theoretiseert dat Zuid-Amerika het continent Atlantis is en dat de gezonken eilandstad op Pampa Auallagas was gevestigd.
Volgens Plato was het continent Atlantis net zo groot als Noord-Afrika en Azië tezamen. Dat komt aardig overeen met de omvang van Zuid-Amerika, legt Allen uit. Daarnaast werd het continent gescheiden door een vlakte, aldus Plato. Deze vlakte zou kunnen verwijzen naar de Salar de Uyuni. Ook in dit geval komen de afmetingen overeen.
De stad Atlantis was volgens Plato een streng geometrisch uitgebouwd systeem van concentrische cirkels met om beurten een ommuuurd eiland en een kanaal. Het hoofdeiland was helemaal ingesloten door een cirkelvormig kanaal.
Op de top van Pampa Auallagas zijn deels geërodeerde cirkels gevonden. Als het water in het nabijgelegen Poopomeer hoger had gestaan, zouden de ringen op Pampa Auallagas zijn gevuld met water en middels een kanaal met het meer zijn verbonden. Het aantal ringen en de afmetingen ervan komen volgens Allen overeen met de beschrijving die Plato gaf van Atlantis.
De tempelmuren en concentrische cirkels van Atlantis zouden zijn afgewerkt met goud, zilver, koper, tin en orichalcum, een legendarische metaallegering die in gebruik zou zijn geweest in de verloren stad. Een andere legering van dezelfde naam was in gebruik bij de Romeinen.
Atlantis, aldus Plato, was ommuurd met natuursteen, en de muren waren bekleed met geelkoper, tin en orichalcum. In het midden bevond zich een tempel bedekt met goud en zilver, ivoor en orichalcum. Dat laatste metaal zou in zuiveren staat gedolven zijn.
Al deze metalen kunnen worden gevonden in het gebied rond Pampa Auallagas, merkt Allen op. Hij voegde toe dat orichalcum van nature voorkomt in de Andes, waar het bekendstaat als tumbaga. Plato beschreef koud- en warmwaterbronnen, die ook rond Pampa Auallagas worden gevonden.
Atlantis zou volgens een legende zijn vernietigd door watergod Poseidon. Soortgelijke Boliviaanse legenden spreken van een overstroming rond Pampas Auallages die werd veroorzaakt door watergod Tunupa.
Voor de komst van de Spaanse conquistadores werd een deel van de regio Antisuyo genoemd, wat ‘koninkrijk van koper’ betekent. Antis is Quechua voor koper. Allen vermoedt dat dit woord verband houdt met ‘antis’ in Atlantis.

Witness said: Round quiet quick smooth fast turning object with red blue and white lights then disappears into sky heading north.Outback in Mira Mesa, taking the dog out, then there’s this blue object in sky and it turned quicker and sharper than any other plane or helicopter I’ve seen. It came towards my house, it was about 2-4 houses away, north of me, and then I saw all blue, red, and white lights. There was a helicopter in the sky south of me and they are loud. We thought it was a flying droid thing like Amazon has been talking about but when we ran to front of house to see it better, it disappeared within seconds and never came back.
The Norwood case involves 10 visual sightings by multiple civilian, clergy, police, scientist and military witnesses over a 7-month duration, facilitated by the use of a powerful searchlight ran by Army Sgt. Donald R. Berger. The first sighting took place during “The Jitney Carnival” of 1949 and witnessed by hundreds The following morning, three local newspapers- The Cincinnati Post, The Cincinnati Enquirer and The Cincinnati Times Star- all had articles regarding ‘strange lights’ and ‘comets seen over the city’ from the previous evening. There was an explanation for the occurrence, according to one local newspaper. The Albee Theater in nearby Cincinnati, accompanied by the Ss. Peter & Paul Church in Norwood, were operating searchlights. It was said that the hundreds of persons calling newspapers and weather bureau officials were simply observing these searchlight beams ‘bouncing off of clouds.’ Despite this, the sightings began in earnest after 11:00 p.m. (Berger logs indicate that he observed the UFO from 8:15 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) and continued to flummox Cincinnati residents until 6:30 a.m. the following morning. It seems unlikely searchlights would be operating all night long until daylight, and further still, one weather bureau official recounted his early-morning observation of two objects that looked like “two weather ceiling balloons” that weren’t moving despite a wind speed of 25 to 32-miles per hour. Even the Berger logs indicate the possible presence of a second searchlight from that evening, whether Berger knew there was another searchlight at work or not. “When I moved the searchlight away, the object continued to glow,” Berger wrote in his 1949 logs that were later kept in the possession of Rev. Gregory Miller until 1954, when he imparted them to UFO investigator Leonard Stringfield. Meanwhile, during the festival in Norwood, Robert Linn, the managing editor of the Cincinnati Post, along with church pastor Rev. Gregory Miller, were certain that Berger’s searchlight had found and been bouncing off of “some definite object.” They entered into agreement and reported the situation to intelligence officials at Wright Field in nearby Dayton, Ohio. The August 19th episode is a mass-witness case, reported in all three local newspapers of Cincinnati, Ohio, a city not far south of Dayton, home of the airbase. A possible explanation is publicly toyed with: the deception caused by two searchlight beams strolling the dark skies. It seems as if Grudge folks would have likely been aware of the events at Norwood on August 19, 1949 – either from all the reportage or from the direct report to the airbase itself, by Robert Linn and Rev. Miller. Why does the Norwood Case not factor in to their investigation when, in fact, far ‘lesser’ cases may have been prominently addressed? If Project Grudge had sought to dismiss UFO sightings as psychological phenomena, they had a good case with the Norwood searchlight events at this stage of the situation.
There are alien (or ET-human) devices, vehicles and structures on every physical planet in our Solar System! Some moons and major asteroids have been everything from mining excavations to battlefields over time. In some cases, the machines, crafts and alien buildings are extremely ancient. We will start with the first planet from the sun. Mercury has numerous odditiesphotographed by ‘Messenger.’ Reports claim this is a building inside a squared crater. Yet, the weird thing resembles a craft with landing legs. Shadows suggest an unknown that is above the surface. One day, it might takeoff and be gone.
What is inside another crater on Mercury? Examine the symmetry of the shadows; especially the photos on the left. A dark square or rectangular shape is near the center of the raised structure.
Here is another oddity inside one more Mercury crater. When we see closer and clearer, a very regular structure emerges with sharp right angles.
Below is one more oddity within a Mercurial crater that may not be a natural crater. Notice how the ‘base’ or ‘space-port platform’ appears elevated. The image from Mercury on the right was called ‘Walking.’
Take a good look at what appears as a BLACK MONOLITH outside of another crater on our first planet. We will discover that other bodies in the Solar System also contain ARTIFICIAL monoliths, towers, standing-stones or dishes. Are they power beacons orpossibly communication receivers?
One really cannot include second planet, Venus, along with the rest of the Solar System. SOMETHING’S GOING ON WITH VENUS that ‘They’ are not informing us. Governments are lying to us about conditions on Venus! Here is what they are reporting NOW:
…Magellan spacecraft, which arrived at Venus in 1990, made the first global map of the surface of Venus as well as global maps of the planet’s gravity field. The mission produced surprising findings about Venus, including a relatively young planetary surface possibly formed by lava flows from planet-wide volcanic eruptions…’
When Magellan’s findings were first received, the data shocked everyone because therewas NO VOLCANISM on Venus! Documentaries were made and televised. Instead, they found the ‘most intense (amount) craters in the Solar System!!’ That meant no planetary resurfacing; that meant a surface from the dawn of Time. Venus had anastronomical numberof craters! Therefore, it was the OLDEST planetary surface (not ‘youngest’). Nothing appeared to have moved from the beginning of Time!
Another mystery is ‘what uses up Venusian energy since it does not escape into space?’ Venus’ thick clouds, which obscure our view of it, act like a massive ‘pressure-cooker.’ The answer is…an advanced civilization INSIDE the planet or ON the planet, but under a masking cover.
Unconventional books such as ‘Return of the Dove’ by Margaret Storm and ‘The Wall of Light’ by Arthur Mathews report that Nikola Tesla came from Venus! The late Frank E. Stranges, who wrote ‘Stranger at the Pentagon,’ was in contact with Valiant Thor and his crew of two other Venusians. They met with the President and world leaders at the Pentagon in 1957.
The above photo shows a large structure on Venus. But, can we trust anything our devices indicate? Could everything we THINK we see be camouflage away from an amazing world that is truly there? Does another dimension exist at Venus which our normal senses cannot perceive?
On Mars at Cydonia, there is the famous Face (Sphinx?) and the Great Martian Pyramid that is aligned with the planet’s directions. Richard Hoagland has demonstrated Cydonia’s numerous parallels to ancient Egypt, Giza…only the ‘Monuments of Mars’ are much older and much LARGER.
There are eyeballs inside the eyes of the Face. There are teeth where teeth should be on the Martian HUMAN Face. (Maybe we shouldn’t believe NASA). Rather than showing the usual Martian oddities, let us view some lesser known ones…
The Martian satellite, Phobos, is one more extreme anomaly in the Solar System. What was once thought of as only a captured asteroid…the ‘new thinking’ is Phobos could be entirely artificial and only made to appear as a planetoid.

Continuing ‘throughout’ a small part of only our Solar System, let us explore a bit of the second largest asteroid: Vesta! If President Obama has his way, we will be sending a manned probe to the asteroid. The planetoid measures 326 miles in diameter. (Actually, Vesta is the second largest ‘chunk’ or remains after Planet #5 was pulverized long ago forming the Asteroid Belt in the gap).

Why go to Vesta, of all the asteroids? Because we already know something very odd is there…like the Moon and Mars. Inspect details of these different sites on Vesta:
Vesta could be a treasure trove with bizarre ‘structuring’ seen on some enhanced photos. Hoagland has pointed out many right-angled patterns that obviously were artificially produced as well as squared-areas that were not the result of impacts. What is the enormous protuberance on the side of this orbiting walnut? Are these really crash sites as they appear? Is Vesta a graveyard of alien crafts? The general public will never know from officials.
We move further out along the planets, ignoring myriads of worlds that orbit Jupiter. One of the strongest cases for a completely artificial planetoid is ‘Incredible Iapetus,’ 17th moon of Saturn
Little Iapetus appears to be slightly ‘breaking apart at the seams!’ Below are photos taken by the Cassini spacecraft during a flyby in 2004. The horizon of the moon is ANGLED! The orb is nearly FACETED and resembles an ancient, geodesic sphere.
A prominent tower on two-toned Iapetus has been photographed. But, the most stunning feature is the ‘Great Wall.’ Richard Hoagland with his Enterprise Mission has called it ‘a vast, planet-spanning, artificial construct’ and asked, ‘how can there be a 60,000 foot high, 60,000 foot wide, 4 million foot long ‘wall’ across an entire hemisphere?’
JPL had stated the samein a news release from 1/7/05: ‘…a long, narrow ridge that is almost exactly on the equator of Iapetus, bisects its entire dark hemisphere and reached 12 miles high. It extends over 800 miles (nearly its diameter)…along its mid section. No other (known) moon has such a striking geological feature…surprising for such a small body as Iapetus…’
Examine the fantastic style of what only can be called ARCHITECTURE on the satellite. Curved, swooping, even beautiful towers rise to the heights of miles over the surface! How could it be possible if these truly were ruins and abandoned cities?
Iapetus has 1/40 the gravity of Earth because it rotates once in 79 days. You could construct large buildings and move great weights with ease; almost with the efficiency of manufacturing in space. Ancient Iapetus would be ideal for building and all the evidence is there that this ‘station’ was utilized for a long time. Is the 17th moon of Saturn occupied now?
Study all areas; the oceans of Europa; on Titan; Pluto; Sedna…beyond… Where youdon’t think there is Life…there is Life! We have only scratched the surface…of hollow planets. Here are just a very few of our lunar mysteries:
ALIEN ABDUCTION IN THE YUKON TERRITORY SEPTEMBER 3, 1987 …….. GRAVEL CREEK NORTHERN CANADA
At daybreak (September 3, 1987) I put my gear and my gun on my bike and headed towards Mac pass. A couple of miles down the road, I was putting along at about 10 mph looking into the trees and watching the hillsides. I decided to stop for a restroom break. I stopped where I could see some mountainsides and some valleys. I parked on the right side of the road. The sun was shining; the air was perfectly still and a bit cool. I was standing just in front of my bike watching the mountains to the south, when I noticed to the left out of the corner of my eye, what I first thought was an airplane. It was 400 to 500 yards away and about the size of a DC-3 plane or a full-size school bus. It was travelling north to south, at about 40 yards above ground and moving maybe 30 km/h. Right away I thought “boy is he low”. I blinked my eyes because I couldn’t make out any tail fin or wings. It had what looked like portholes all along the side of it. It was cigar shaped with a grey strip down the middle and a dark green on top and bottom. I thought to myself, “something’s wrong with this picture”, then I realized there was no sound! If it was an airplane, the roar would have filled the valley. As I watched, it seemed to partially dematerialize and then return to solid form, it did this as it was moving, a couple of times. Then it dawned on me, oh, oh, I don’t think I should be seeing this; it’s a UFO and probably doesn’t want to be seen!
I crouched down on the road, hiding behind the roadside grass. I then watched it go behind a cone-shaped hill and not come out. I stood up looking for it and feeling very excited and happy about what I saw and thinking they didn’t even know they were being watched. I was standing beside my bike when I heard a loud metallic clunk behind me around the corner. Right away I thought, somebody must be here and I’ve got to tell them what I saw. The noise I heard sounded like a heavy trunk lid on a car slamming shut. I quickly walked along the edge of the road to the corner to see who was there.I came face to face (about 20 yards) with 2 grey creatures in blue jump suits, about 5 ft. tall with big insect looking heads, pointy faces, big eyes, thin arms, body and legs. I immediately thought “they’re not little green men*, they’re grasshopper people”. At that same instant, the one on the left raised his left hand to his waist, which held some type of flashlight device and I saw a bright flash of light come from it. I instantly felt paralyzed and was convinced time had stopped, everything was black, no sound. I tried to yell “No!” but all that came out was a distorted grunt. Next thing I knew I was standing on the side of the road scared, shaking and confused. Within seconds I remembered all of this that had just taken place and I thought, “I’m getting out of here before they get me again.” I turned around to get my bike and for some reason it was not there, then I noticed it was on the other side of the road. I said to myself, “what the hell is this? I didn’t put it there”. Still panicking I rushed over and got on it and realized the keys were gone. I always left the keys in it, that way I could not lose them while sneaking around in the bush. I immediately started looking down the road and suddenly saw them in my hand. I started my bike and raced back to the trailer. I was feeling scared and amazed at the same time and then noticed that all the shadows of the trees were pointing in a different direction than that of the morning sun. About 15 minutes later I was at the trailer. Half an hour later it was dark. I thought “no way, I only left here an hour ago, what’s going on?” I was really confused then, I said to myself, “I’m not telling anybody about this, I’ll just forget the whole thing”. I put on a pot of coffee and could then hear a soft humming sound above the trailer. I could also feel a soft vibration in everything (trailer, air, etc.). After about 10 minutes it had all stopped. I had a very strong feeling that they were outside. I did not look out the windows.
Later that night I still couldn’t sleep and while having my coffee I began to have flashbacks of the past events. I remember being in a dream-like state watching scenery flash by underneath as if I was flying. I watched mountains and rivers and forests go by at a very high rate of speed. I then became aware of other sounds and seemed to wake up. I opened my eyes and could see nothing but black, very deep and inky black. As I was looking at this, the blackness pulled back, revealing a face, I had been looking into the eyes of a grey type creature. I could hear in my mind a voice saying “there is nothing to worry about”. I could hear him talking in my mind. There were 3 or 4 of these types walking around, but only one talked to me. The two I saw earlier on the road, I never saw again. (Note: the aliens that he saw at this point were of the typical “grey type” while the ones at the edge of the road were more insectoid.) I then sat up and had an idea of what might be going on and I asked, “Are you going to do experiments on me?” and the one said, “They’ve already been done.” I felt really good then because, except for a strange sensation in my hands everything felt normal. I kept rubbing my hands together but did not look at them, as there was a totally strange environment to look at instead. I experienced no discomfort. The being nearest me asked if I would like to see my home planet and I said sure. I then walked over to the window, where there was a machine that looked like a big copy machine. He asked me not to touch it, I replied “Don’t worry, I’m not touching anything in here”. He then said, that bright white star is your home. I didn’t know anything about astronomy at the time, but I always thought earth was blue, so right away I thought he’s lying. He also explained to me about space and stars etc. but I can’t remember any of it now. I was also asked if I would like to go on a trip. I replied “Not yet”, I felt very honored to be asked and I did want to go, but felt that the time was not right. Then I was told I would have to forget all of this. I was disappointed at hearing this. The first part of the experience was very scary, but once I was with them, I found them to be friendly, helpful and their looks didn’t bother me. They actually seemed like old friends. They gave me a clear glass, ¾ full with a yellow liquid and said to drink it up, it would make me forget everything. I told them, I did not want to forget an experience like this. It should be remembered! I was told it was for my own good that I forget. So I took 3 little sips and put the glass down. DEEP SEA DISCOVERIES
The Swedish research ship “Albatross” had just returned from a peaceful reconnaissance in the South Atlantic.
Had you peeped through a lattice window in a little house outside Stockholm, you might have seen two men, one of them bearded, huddled across a table, engaged in lively talk.
One of them, in fact, looked almost wild-eyed. But, knowing him as a well-balanced, sober man, you would have to admit that whatever it was that now had him so excited must be something extraordinary.
“I swear to you, it’s incredible! Do you know, we were sounding the seabed 700 miles east of Brazil. And we brought up core samples of fresh-water plants! Can you believe that! And do you know how deep they were? Three thousand metres!”
The speaker was Professor Hans Pettersson, who had led the expedition.
And he added: “These samples actually contained micro-organisms, twigs, plants and even tree bark.”
ANOTHER DISCOVERY
Within a similar time frame, discussion was hot in London. Coral had been recovered from depths of over 3,000 feet (1,000 metres) in mid-Atlantic Ocean sites. Now we all know that coral grows only close to sea level.
So in London, England, someone else was making a chilling diagnosis: “Either the seabed dropped thousands of feet or the sea rose mightily.”
AND STILL ANOTHER
Meanwhile, at Columbia University in the U.S.A., Professor Maurice Ewing, a prominent marine geologist, was reporting on an expedition that had descended to submerged plateaus at a depth of 5,000 feet.
“It’s quite amazing,” he said. “At 5,000 feet down, they discovered prehistoric beach sand. It was brought up in one case from a depth of nearly three and one half miles, far from any place where beaches exist today.
“One deposit was 1,200 miles from the nearest land.”
As we all know, sandy beaches form from waves breaking on the edge of the coastal rim of the seas. Beach sand does not form deep down on the ocean bottom.
Then Ewing dropped his bombshell: “Either the land must have sunk 2 or 3 miles or the sea must have been 2 or 3 miles lower than now. Either conclusion is startling.”
WHAT THIS MEANS,
These facts mean one of two things: either there was a mighty ocean bed subsidence (unexplainable by orthodox science), or a huge (likewise unexplained) addition of water to the ocean.
Let’s briefly consider these.
1. Sudden subsidence
Much of the landscape that is now drowned by the ocean still has sharp, fine profiles. But these sharp, fine profiles would have been eroded, and the lava covering the ocean floor would have decayed if all this rocky terrain had been
immersed in sea water for more than 15,000 years.
You see, chemical and mechanical forces are very destructive. Sharp edges and points can be ground down and blunted by abrasion, erosion, and the action of waves.
But the entire seabed below the present surf zone has retained its sharpness of profile. Had the subsidence taken place gradually, chemical and other forces would have ground down this sharp profile within a few hundred years.
If the land had sunk slowly, even the surf would have worn away these profiles. No, it was a rapid subsidence, if a subsidence it was.
This sudden collapse of an area covering many millions of square miles does not support a gradual sinking, but rather a cataclysmic event.
Such subsidence is perfectly in keeping with the centuries-long adjustments that occurred after the Great Flood trauma.
2. Pre-Flood sea level lower
However, some of the data strongly suggest that the sea level actually was several thousand feet lower than at present – that there was LESS WATER in the ocean at one time. These discoveries suggest that we are uncovering evidence of a former sea level!
But this would call for a relatively sudden increase of 30 percent in the volume of the ocean. The compelling question is, WHERE DID THIS WATER COME FROM? Few geologists can bring themselves to answer this.
Obviously, melting ice sheets could never have contained enough water to raise the ocean level thousands of feet. So we can forget melting ice sheets being the cause.
CITY ON THE SEABED?
Now for another surprise. This time the excitement was in the Pacific. The year was 1965. A research vessel named “Anton Brunn” was investigating the Nazca Trench, off Peru.
The sonar operator called for the captain.
“I don’t know what to make of this,” he murmured. “Around here, the ocean floor is all mud bottom. But just take in these sonar recordings… unusual shapes on the ocean floor! I’m puzzled.”
“Better lower a camera,” came the order.
At a depth of 6,000 feet a photograph revealed huge upright pillars and walls, some of which seemed to have writing on them. In other nearby locations, apparently artificially shaped stones lay on their sides, as though they had toppled over.
The crew rubbed their eyes and kept staring. Could this really be? …the remains of a city under a mass of water more than a mile deep!
Was it overwhelmed suddenly by some gigantic disaster? And now it was buried under 6,000 feet of ocean?

Vulkanen over de hele wereld spuwen vuur, as en stoom. In Papoea-Nieuw-Guinea, IJsland, Ecuador, Hawaï en Indonesië rommelt het onder de aarde. IJsland heeft te maken met de Bardarbunga die onder de grootste gletsjer van Europa, de Vatnajökull, is uitgebarsten.
In het centrum van Ecuador verstoorde de Tungurahua de rust in de stad Baños met explosies en aardbevingen. Ook sierde lava uit Slamet in het centrum van Java in Indonesië de nachtelijke hemel. Klimtochten op de berg werden sinds begin augustus door de overheid al verboden.
Op het Groot Eiland van Hawaï is de noodtoestand afgekondigd vanwege lavastromen afkomstig van de vulkaan Kilauea. De lavastromen waren tot minstens anderhalve kilometer van woongebied genaderd.
In het oosten van Papoea-Nieuw-Guinea ontwaakte de Tavurvur op 29 augustus uit een diepe slaap. De laatste uitbarsting dateerde namelijk uit 1994. Toen barstte de Tavurvur gelijktijdig uit met de naburige Mount Vulcan. Stenen, as en stoom werden 18.288 meter de lucht ingestuwd. De uitbarsting van de Tavurvur viel samen met die van de Bardarbunga in IJsland. De Australische luchtvaartmaatschappij Qantas heeft verschillende vluchten moeten omleiden.

This case and report was exhaustively investigated by several researchers including Robert Pratt, who did exceptionally thorough interviews with all individuals important to the case, and Mr. Jack Bostrak, a Professor of Biology at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls. I have included some of the APRO Bulletin from April 1976. I have also added a link at the end of the post to a site with more information. The important elements of this case are:
(1) The primary witness reported a UFO in April 1975, thus making him a “repeater”. (Some researchers, and Dr. J. Allen Hynek in particular, have reservations concerning the believability of witnesses where they claim more than one sighting. It is our contention that during heightened UFO activity in a particular area, an individual could easily have more than one sighting.) (2) The object, or the glow from it, was seen by at least two other witnesses. (3) There apparently were electro-mechanical effects on an automobile and possibly on television reception, and (4) possible animal reaction.
At about 11 p.m. on April 22, 1976, George Wheeler, a relief policeman at the town of Elmwood, population 737, located in west central Wisconsin about 60 miles east of the Mississippi River, spotted an orange glow at the top of Tuttle Hill. Mr. Wheeler is a veteran of 30 years police work in New York state and Wisconsin, and the former one-man police force in Elmwood where he now performs as reserve officer, filling in for the present chief when necessary. He was also a combat pilot in World War II.
Thinking that the glow was a large fire, he drove to the top of Tuttle Hill, but when he arrived there he found a strange glowing object which he estimated was about 500 feet distant and hovering about 100 feet off the ground. He said it was between a limestone quarry and a farmhouse in the area. Wheeler later said that there were six bluish-white lights, windows or portholes on the side and he could see shadows as if someone was moving inside of it. In the middle of the side facing him there appeared to be some kind of a panel that was open and Wheeler said that inside he could see something which was revolving slowly and had fin-like parts on it similar to a turbine.
What Wheeler interpreted to be legs on the craft were partially extended from the main body of the object and there was a long, black, hose-like appendage on the bottom. The main part of the craft was silver in color.
All the while he was observing, Mr. Wheeler remembered some advice given him by Bostrak the preceding April when he had his first experience: if he should have a similar experience in the future, he should attempt to observe as many details as possible.
When Wheeler first saw the object as he arrived at the top of the hill he radioed the sheriff’s department headquarters in Ellsworth and described what he was observing. Suddenly the object started to rise straight up at extremely high speed and at this time there was a bluish flash, whereupon the squad car, the lights, and the radio went dead. Wheeler claims that he doesn’t remember any more until somebody asked him if he needed any help. He thinks he recalls saying something of this nature when he radioed the sheriffs office: “My God, it’s another one of these UFOs or spacecraft.” He estimates that he observed the object for perhaps 45 seconds, and recalls that it made a “whooshing” sound when it left. Although the main body of the craft was silvery in color, the top of it glowed an orangish-white, and so brilliant that it was difficult for him to look at that part because it was “like looking into the sun.” He could not discern whether the hose-like appendage was touching the ground because it extended down to where it was obscured by trees.
The limestone quarry where the object was hovering is an active quarry, that is, it is still being worked. In the neighborhood, the nearest farm is that of the O’Bryan family and when Bostrak interviewed Mr. O’Bryan he said that he hadn’t seen anything because he was watching television, and casually noted that he recalled the time because he was watching the Perry Mason show which comes on at 11 p.m. and that several minutes after 11, his television set quit for a short time. When Bostrak visited another farm with Wheeler they learned nothing from the adults, but the 9-year-old boy said something about his sister coming home from “some doings” in town and when she came into the yard the dogs did not act normally. Always before, the dogs would run up to her and jump up for attention and petting but on that night they would not respond to her calls and merely barked for some time.
The first person to see George Wheeler after the accident was David Moots, 36, a dairy farmer at Elmwood. Moots had taken the babysitter home a few minutes before that and he had seen Wheeler’s squad car parked elsewhere with lights on, etc., so when he saw the car parked on the top of the hill with the lights out and blocking that lane of the road, he decided to stop. Moots said that Wheeler was trying to get out of the car and there seemed to be something wrong with him. Knowing that Wheeler had once had a heart attack, he thought he might be having another so he stopped and asked what was wrong. Moots said that Wheeler said that he’d been hit. He responded with a question: “Hit by a car?7′ Wheeler then said, “No, one of those UFOs.”

When interviewed, Moots said that he’d heard that a lot of people had seen UFOs in the area before so that was no particular surprise but the being “hit” by a UFO took him aback a bit. He said that Wheeler appeared to be dazed, and because although he did not know him well, he had had sufficient contact with him to know that he was not acting normally.
A second witness to the incident is Mrs. Miles Wergland, a housewife who lives just outside of Elmwood to the North. She claimed that at about 11 o’clock she heard the cuckoo clock strike and got up to go to the kitchen to take some medicine when she happened to glance out the kitchen window and spotted a “bright orange moon-shaped” object on the hill (Tuttle). She said she observed it for a “few minutes”, then went back to bed and did not even bother to wake her husband because she said she had seen strange things in the area before and he had merely told her to go back to bed, she was seeing the moon, without ever checking for himself.
The third witness to the actual object is Paul Fredrickson, who is administrator of the Heritage of Elmwood Nursing Home in Elmwood. Mr. Fredrickson was at his home when the police chief’s wife called him and asked him to go to his front porch and look out the window and see what he could see. Fredrickson did as he was asked, and saw what he later described as “an orange glow, like a half-moon, like a moon cut in half” on Tuttle Hill. He said he knew it was not a house on fire as there were no flames leaping up. He went back to the telephone and by that time his wife had gotten out of bed and the two of them went back to the window and the thing was gone. Fredrickson feels that the length of time that he spent on the telephone might have been from 3 to 5 minutes.
In the course of the investigation, Mr. Pratt found that Mr. Fredrickson had had another experience along with his son in October, 1975, at which time they were in the same general vicinity, and driving home from the Nursing Home where Mr. Fredrickson had worked overtime. His son suddenly pointed out “something” coming up over the horizon. At the time, they were on Tuttle Hill and looking eastward “right over the top of our house”. Fredrickson said his first impression was that it was the full moon rising but then realized it couldn’t be because the object was rising very rapidly. He stopped the car and they got out, the boy getting a better look because Mr. Fredrickson was busy with braking, turning off on to the side of the road, etc. Mr. Fredrickson described it at first as a big orange light coming toward them, but when it was overhead it looked like the bottom of a huge, gray plate which he estimated was about 100 feet across. He thinks perhaps it may have been between 500 and 1,000 feet in altitude and when it was directly overhead they could hear a roaring sound much like the roar of a waterfall. The Fredrickson boy said that the object gave off a blue and green beam from the side of it at one point, but this was while his father was engaged in stopping the car. The object faded into the distance rather quickly, they said; having originally come from the east, it disappeared into the west. Fredrickson did not make careful note of the date at the time, but feels it was around the 20th of October and that the experience took place between 10 and 10:30 p.m.
The next individual to become involved in the Wheeler incident was Police Chief Gene Helmer of Elmwood. He had been at home and monitoring the “police scanner” when he heard Wheeler say that he was watching a UFO. Helmer said Wheeler had started to describe the object but the radio went dead. The Sheriffs Department was trying to contact Wheeler by radio also, and Helmer tried to get Wheeler back, but to no avail. Helmer decided he had better go and see what was wrong when Wheeler came back on the radio momentarily and said, “Get somebody up here — I’ve been hit.”
Helmer, who lives about a quarter of a mile from Tuttle Hill, left immediately and when he arrived at the scene, Moots was trying to soothe Mr. Wheeler. Helmer said that he had never seen a man as frightened as Wheeler was. He said further that he had worked with Wheeler under various trying conditions but had never seen him so upset. Another interesting aspect of Chief Helmer’s interview was his description of the condition of the patrol car. Although they had had the car tuned up not long before the incident, it was necessary to replace all points and plugs in the car’s engine. The starter is beginning to act up also, whereas they had had no problem with it prior to the incident.
Wheeler’s wife arrived on the scene at about the time the Police Chief got there, as she had been listening to the police frequency on the Wheeler scanner. Wheeler was taken home and the family doctor, Frank Springer, was called. Mrs. Wheeler took her husband to Springer’s home where he examined Wheeler and gave him a shot to calm him and help him sleep. After they got home, Chief Helmer arrived and questioned Wheeler for about an hour and a half. At about 1 a.m. Mrs. Wheeler called Dr. Springer and said that her husband was still quite upset and Dr. Springer instructed her to take her husband to the hospital.
Wheeler was in the hospital for three days where tests were taken but nothing could be found wrong with him. He stayed for three days, was released, but went back to the hospital for a second stay of 11 days because of headaches he was suffering, as well as nightmares.
Dr. Springer, who has been Wheeler’s physician for 25 years, said that it was unusual for Wheeler to suffer headaches and the headaches he had which prompted him (the Dr.) to re-hospitalize him were continual and severe. Otherwise, however, Wheeler was rational and appeared normal.
One puzzling aspect of this case is the fact that although Wheeler recounted the entire experience to Helmer, who recorded it in writing, he could not recall any of the details of the experience later. – APRO Bulletin – April 1976

Door to nowhere. 1000 year old facade…rumored to be a portal to the universe. Is this a stargate?
British diplomat Benjamin Bathurst vanished into thin air in 1809. Bathurst was returning to Hamburg with a companion after a mission to the Austrian court. Along the way, they had stopped for dinner at an inn in the town of Perelberg. Upon finishing the meal, they returned to their waiting horse-drawn coach. Bathurst’s companion watched as the diplomat stepped over to the front of the coach to examine to horses – and simply vanished without a trace.
This stuffed specimen of the Troglodytes Gorilla belongs to the Zoological Cabinet of Amherst College. He was killed near the Gaboon River, in Africa, in the Spring of 1862. Shown as one that killed his hunter, whose gun missed fired when endeavoring to shoot the Gorilla. In his rage he killed the hunter with one blow upon his bowels, bent his gun with his hands, and bit the gun barrel so hard as to leave marks of his teeth upon it.
Miners in South Africa have been digging up mysterious metal spheres. Origin unknown, these spheres measure approximately an inch or so in diameter, and some are etched with three parallel grooves running around the equator. The kicker is that the rock in which they where found is Precambrian – and dated to 2.8 billion years old! Who made them and for what purpose is unknown.

Las Vegas, NV – 7/10/1982 – some spelling corrections made: I was studying engineering at UC Irving 1982, family members came to visit me and my sister, who also was living in Irving with her husband Etham that also was studying Engineering at UC Irving, our visitors wanted to go to Las Vegas for the weekend. After we arrived in Las Vegas at the Grand Palace Hotel and checked in. It was around 5 pm. I wanted to look around at the shops in the hotel, I remember going down a floor or two from the lobby where many shops are located. Among them was a barber shop. I enter to cut my hair. The lady that attended me was then in her early 40′s. She asked me to go where they wash people hair and she started washing my hair. Suddenly, I felt that her hand was moving very very fast, almost like a machine in a circle motion above my head. I felt heat above my head and a cone shape energy above my head. I had my eyes closed. Then creatures appeared in my head. They looked like humans but quite different in body size and head type. Their body was small, about two feet, with a round big head with very big eyes. I felt that they were investigating my brain. All of the sudden, I realized their presence in my head and one of them, the female, told the other being that I found out about their presence in my head. After that they disappeared. Then I felt that the heat dissipated and the lady that was washing my head had stopped moving. I also remember that when the lady started to cut my hair, she accidentally got a small cut with the scissors on her finger.
After that I was in state of shock, thinking of what had happened to me. To distract myself, it was about 6 pm, I went to play Black Jack. I remember playing and only winning for almost one hour then I stopped playing and went for a nap.
From that time I developed a great interest in Space and knowing more about UFO’s.
Now I live in Jordan. I am a Mechanical Engineer and business man in the Solar Energy sector.

A conservation success story off the coast of California has seen blue whales thriving in recent years.
Measuring up to 100ft in length and weighing in at more than 200 tons, the blue whale is the largest and heaviest living creature to have ever existed in the entire history of the world.
Unfortunately whaling and other human activities have been responsible for a significant decline in blue whale numbers over the years, reducing their population from hundreds of thousands to only around 5,000 to 12,000 individuals at the turn of the century.
Despite pessimistic forecasts about the future of the species however there has been some good news in recent months thanks to increasing numbers being reported off the coast of California.
Following a ban on whaling by the International Whaling Commission in 1966, blue whale numbers in the North Pacific have slowly risen back to what they were before the practice began. Researchers believe that the current population there is now almost 97% of that indicated by historical records.
While there is still a long way to go to restore blue whale numbers across the world, the news is a welcome breath of fresh air in an age dominated by stories of species decline and indicates that we may yet be able to prevent these giants of the deep from disappearing forever. Bolivia’s famed mirror-like salt flats, Salar de Uyuni, and the neighboring mountain Pampa Auallagas may harbor the fabled lost city of Atlantis, according to author Jim Allen.
Allen is a former aerial-photograph interpreter for the British Army. He has scanned the views of Salar de Uyuni and its surrounding land features, noting key similarities between this region and ancient Greek descriptions of Atlantis.
The philosopher Plato referred to both a continent named Atlantis and an island city named Atlantis, explained Allen, and he said it is only the city that is described as having been submerged in one day and one night. Read more at The Epoch Times

The video documentary investigates claims that the US government are storing UFO craft and alien bodies at secret bases. Sky Faction goes in search of UFO Wreckage and Alien Storage Facilities, one of the few UFO documentaries ever based on Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Some background on Wright Patterson Sir Force Base: Since 1947, the year of the famous Roswell crash, there have been rumors that the US government has stored debris and artifacts from crash flying saucers, and even bodies of the small, alien crew members of the downed space ships. Much of the evidence of these crash retrievals leads us to Dayton, Ohio, and Wright-Patterson’s Hangar-18.
How much of the legend surrounding the famous Wright-Patterson facility is true? Are there still alien beings… even possibly live beings, from other worlds at the infamous base in Dayton, Ohio? Originally called Wilbur Wright Field, the government installation was first opened in 1917 to train military personnel during the first World War. Soon, Fairfield Air Depot was created, adjacent to Wright Field. In 1924, McCook Field test facility was closed, and the Dayton community purchased 4,500 acres which housed the various facilities. This took in the previously leased land of Wright Field, and the Wright and Fairfield facilities were combined into one. The newly created facility was named after the innovators of flight, the Wright Brothers.
On July 6, 1931, the area east of Huffman Dam, which included Wilbur Wright Field, Fairfield Air Depot, and the Huffman Prairie was renamed Patterson Field. This was to honor the memory of Lt. Frank Stuart Patterson. Patterson died in 1918, when a plane he was flying a test in, crashed after its wings separated from the craft. In 1948, the fields were merged under one name, Wright-Patterson AFB. Wright-Patterson is instrumental in testing new weapon technology, along with research and development, education, and many other defense related operations. It is the home of the Air Force Institute of Technology, supporting the Air Force and the Department of Defense. The USAF’s National Air & Space Intelligence Center is also part of Wright-Patterson.
The base was well known for reverse engineering of foreign government aircraft during the Cold War. The base expertise in the disassembly and recreation of MIG fighters has only enriched the theories that alien craft have been studied there. The workforce is estimated at 22,000, giving us an idea of the massive amount of work being done at the base. Wright-Patterson is most well known for its connection to the Roswell crash, although links can be made to other crash retrievals. Several eyewitness accounts of military personnel and even civilian workers who handled debris from the Roswell crash, and saw bodies of creatures not of our world, give us a very plausible Wright-Patterson connection to the study of alien technology and physiology. The same day that the famous Roswell headlines ran in newspapers around the world, there was an enormous amount of activity at the Roswell base. Some debris from the crash, and possibly alien bodies were sent to Ft. Worth, Texas. It is now commonly accepted by researchers that before the Ft. Worth flight, another flight to Wright-Patterson had already taken place, carrying debris and alien bodies. This shipment was secretly stored and studied in the infamous Hangar-18.
