Alabama Fuzzy Discs

Munford — In Mt Cheaha State Park, at the end of the rock garden Pulpit Rock trail, on August 10, 2014, looking up the mountain slope I saw two fuzzy looking discs. I was taking pictures of the view, when it flitted around in the sky over the restaurant. Stunned, I watched for 30 seconds before snapping the picture. Both objects streaked away to the north at incredible velocity. The objects were interacting with each other as well as searching for something in the area. Both objects were fuzzy looking, grey in color, but also had sunlight glinting off their surfaces. The objects flew interacting with one another flying a semi grid pattern at unbelievable speed, making right angle turns, stopping and speeding. I was amazed to be witnessing them as both objects shot north fast out of sight. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Arizona Formation of Lights

Clarkdale – On August 18, 2014, we were driving back out of Old Town Cottonwood after dinner, toward the roundabout at the end of SR89A and we noticed a huge formation that looked like a tornado. I was in awe so I started to take pictures with my cell phone. Looking at the images, I saw a huge uniform row of lights that looked like they were at the very bottom of the clouds. They just blew my mind and submit my photos for your testing. Thanks to MUFON CMS

California Disc

Joshua Tree — While attending the Contact in the Desert event I left on August 10, 2014 to eat at the local Sonic drive-thru. As I paid the woman I noticed this dark ball in the sky at 6:38 PM. I knew it wasn’t a bird or aircraft, so I grabbed my cell phone and started filming. I zoomed in to catch the object on film, and the girl at sonic opened her window and I dropped the phone as she talked to me. I watched this small spherical object fly just over the power lines, slowly, but consistently. I noticed a slight aura around the craft as the object rotated. When I was watching it I felt a great sense of calm. After I left the drive thru window I noticed it had greatly descended below the power lines and became camouflaged against the valley’s mountain line. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Joshua Tree – Julio M. Barriere writes, “I had the opportunity of having different witnesses to my fleet of Ufos of the four nights of doing sky watch at the Joshua Tree retreat center which had two thousand people for the contact in the desert event this past weekend of August 8-11, 2014 which had the cast of ancient aliens and great speakers.” I was by Orion lookout doing sky watch for four nights. I had different small parties each night and I was pointing out these Ufos hovering, constantly moving. UFOs follow me around the world. All these witnesses reacted in amazement viewing these crafts hovering and constant movement side to side suspended in the air silently. I ask for names and contact information from these witnesses and also if I had their permission if I could send this report of seeing the disclosure that follows me around the world. They all said yes. I’ll be going to Mt. Shasta and Mt. Adams and also the UFO conference in Toronto. I want to introduce this other world to our world. That’s why I’m traveling to acknowledge these alien beings are here on a peaceful mission. Since these star people follow me around the world I am seeking the truth and I hope that I will have others as well to do this together in seeking the truth. We all live in a very dangerous world. I seen too many star ships pass the fleet of Ufos that follow me in Joshua Tree and also when I went to Mt Adams. There must be many different species of benevolent super beings extraterrestrials visiting our planet.

We must expose the illuminati that control the media. We all have to seek the truth together. I really wanted everyone to know that we are not alone in many universes. We have star people that really care about us and have tried to prevent nuclear war in our past. Julio M. Barriere

Connecticut Flying Saucer Possibly Lands

West Suffield – I was at a friend’s house drinking a little and having a good time on July 29, 2014, when we saw a hovering great orb of light. It remained still for about 30 seconds then suddenly started to jump in random places a half mile radius from its original spot. It was a classic, old sci-fi movie flying saucer with a system of lights around the circular edge. What really freaked me out is when I saw a beam of light coming from the bottom of the craft. It wasn’t light at all and blended with the sky and I could only see the edge of it. Suddenly the beam disappeared and the craft lights flashed starting with one bulb and went around the saucer ending with a single red flash from a bulb. Hawaii Disc

Kona — I was at the beach in, just across the street from the Veteran’s Cemetery, taking pictures of the larger than normal waves on March 1, 2013.

Later when putting the photos on my computer I noticed the UFO in one of the pictures I took.

Indiana Orbs

Brownsburg – I was taking Super Moon pictures on August 11, 2014, and thought I saw a shooting star. On the way home looking west I noticed a red orb that I have seen before. I got home got my camera and got one picture of it as it flew over my house headed east. The moon’s light was so bright, that the orb just faded out in the light. Five minutes later I looked straight up, and another one was there so I got six or seven pictures of that one. It went on the same path, and faded out in the moon’s light. It moved too fast for a lantern and too slow for a plane with no blinking lights. When I checked the photo times I couldn’t understand what happened, the first one was taken at 9:44, and the second one was at 10:10 PM. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Minnesota IR Video

Little Falls — I noticed my IR camera monitor was giving off more light than usual and noticed a flying object that didn’t appear to be flying like a bug, bat, or bird, so I hit the record button on July 3, 2014.The video starts after I had observed something I hadn’t seen before for about two minutes. Its erratic flight was certainly odd. Toward the end of the video, there was an object that seemed to follow the path of the first object that flying east. The VHS video shows a perfectly round object without wings or appendages. It has some kind of an aura effect around it with some kind of turbulence. Toward the end of the video, there is a streak of light that passes from right to left that may be the object leaving at a high rate of speed. At 13 seconds into the video, a similar object went across the screen from west to east.Thanks to MUFON CMS

New Hampshire Light

Washington — We were sitting out on the deck ten miles up Lempster Mountain after 9 pm, on July 26, 2014, when one of us noticed an orange/red orb in the southeast sky. We were talking about how clear and quiet it is up there. We all watched and thought it might be a meteor, but it didn’t seem to be moving. We saw it was moving north with two orange/red lights. The front light was bigger and seemed more luminous than the smaller light in the back. The lights were connected by a dull dark shape in the middle. We called three other people to see and now there are seven of us watching these lights flying slowly and silently across the sky. Before the lights were out of our view I took this picture. The whole viewing probably lasted about 3-5 minutes. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New York Light

Falconer

1. My friend was out getting fresh air in front of his house when he observed the strange light on June 15, 2014.

2. The light in the sky was fading and getting extremely bright.

3. He thought the light was an airplane.

4. The light barely moved and became intense in brightness.

5. He was very weird so he took a video. Now he’s out every night looking.

6. He went back into the house to get show the family his video. ‘

North Carolina Orbs

Leland – The night after the full moon on May 13, 2014, I had a small telescope and I was trying to get some good views of the moon. I also had a night vision monocular, a PVS-14 with a 3x magnifier on a tripod with a video camera attached. I was looking through my PVS-7D night vision goggles and noticed a “plane” coming toward me at 5000 feet heading south. I started recording on the PVS-14 and it eventually passed over me completely silent. I noticed that as it passes, I could see stars through the “fuselage” of the triangle shaped craft! It could be adaptive camouflage? There were two circular lights at the rear of the vehicle with a blinking light between them. The light in front was triangular itself, with a small, round light right behind it. I often see planes through night vision goggles and this was low, slow and silent! Without infrared I couldn’t see any of the lights. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Asheville – On August 14, 2014, looking up from my driveway I saw a fiery light approach from the north almost directly over me. As it got closer it got much brighter. There was reddish orange glow about the color of fire that grew brighter and dimmer. I ran inside to get my camera and got a couple good pictures. The object seemed to make a wide, arcing turn towards the east. It seemed to change altitude and come to a stop and hover a couple times. It flew slowly off to the south then seemed to climb and accelerate away out of view, passing close to our local airport. The tower crew and radar should have seen it. The object appeared again and approached at high altitude from the south with strange light effects. Again the object passed right by the airport and made a turn in our direction. It seemed like it slowed to a stop, very close to us. I captured the object with any clarity. About 5 minutes after the object disappeared two fighter jets from Pope overflew us. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Oregon Light

Portland — I was walking home from work I listening to music when I looked up on August 16, 2014,

and saw this bright light it was moving very slow no noise it was a solid red light it was very bright then all of the sudden it disappeared it was very strange.

Pennsylvania Lights

Philadelphia — Sitting in a back yard around 9 pm, I noticed a five glowing objects travel in a line from south to east on August 16, 2014.

Objects were brightly glowing and appeared to be spheres. The sighting was witnessed by a total of six people.

Utah Object

Ouray – On August 2, 2014, I was at work about 30 miles southeast of Ouray and noticed just above the horizon a large black object changing shape.It was changing from a sphere to a birdlike object to a pole like object just to name a few of the shapes.I grabbed my phone and took a couple pictures to the northeast but it seems a little too far away to see well.

I continued watching it changing shapes and then the object went into hundreds of little spheres and just dissipated and scattered in all directions.On August 16th in the east as the sun was coming up I observed a black cigar shaped object traveling from the west to the east. It was much lower than the clouds and became a very bright silvery object when the sun hit it.Thanks to MUFON CMS

Virginia Disc

Waynesboro – My wife, son and I had taken a ride on Skyline Drive, on July 21, 2013, and photographed beautiful scenery facing northwest over the Shenandoah National Forest. I took a series of pictures with our digital camera with an Art Setting to bring out all the colors. The pictures turned out just fine but I never really examined them. After an hour of watching the lights dimmed to a soft white-and then it took off and disappeared.Interestingly enough, while I spotted this object I noticed two other star-like objects moving and turning directions and then stopping to blend in with the constellations as if it was trying to pass off as an average star. On several occasions I have spotted moving star-like objects.Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Disc

Lacey — We were at the Regional sports complex next to Nisqually Middle School when the object quickly came out of the clouds and immediately stopped at 5:11 PM in a very small patch of blue sky on August 10, 2014. It was almost as if it was using the clouds as cover. It stayed in the same spot for nearly 18 minutes and then flew away vertically, (literally straight upward) at a speed that is impossible to match for any aircraft today. I first spotted the object when I was reviewing my picture of the sunset. Immediately after taking the picture (Center left in the first picture) after I saw the object in my picture, I scanned the sky and located it. I pointed it out to my friends and several people in the parking lot. All of whom saw the object, and could not understand what it was or what it could be doing. Australia Red Lights

Ballarat — At 8:15 pm tonight, 19th August 2014 I witnessed two widely separated red orbs moving silently and in unison through the sky from south to north across the southern side of Ballarat. I called my wife and daughters who also came and witnessed the orbs. Their flight path was straight and they eventually disappeared in the wide spread clouds. They were absolutely silent and if they had been a plane it would’ve had to be very low for the wing tips to be so far apart. Also there were no flashing lights. Bulgaria Light

Peshtera – My friend I were watching the sky and suddenly we saw this fast object that emits light on July 6, 2014. The speed that was high enough to make us watch it. It was like a meteorite and no object was seen just the light that it emits. The form was like a sphere and it was changing directions, the shape of the flight was like a triangle until we lost it in the night sky. I am 14 years old and it was on our minds for a long time. Canada Orange Dome

Mississauga, Ontario — My husband and I had seen this orange bright light. It lit up a dome shape glow above the light, travelling faster than a plane on July 23, 2014, at 10:05 pm. There was a plane not sure how close they were but I believe the people in the plane may have seen it as well. It was moving from Northwest to South direction. Keep your eyes on the skies. India UFO

Purulia Town Krittika More West Bengal – The UFO was bright, shiny, and linear flying horizontally towards rising sun on17th March 2014, at about 6 am..It was very unnatural than any airplane, helicopter etc. It was static for a minute and then slowly moved and after sometime flying off fast from view with variable speed. Mt. Etna—On August 13, 2014, I caught a photo of Etna erupting and you see an object right in the crater where the smoke comes out that is something of a black tip, as if an object is monitoring very closely and half or maybe more, and inside the crater , to exclude birds or insects. Umbria — I’m Italian and I’m a passionate photographer on July 31, 2014, I was taking photos of the stars on a mountain near my city and just reviewed these photos today. In two of the photos there appears a strange object in the sky composed of 12 lights at two different points. The camera exposure settings I was using was 15 seconds which means nothing can be impressed on the photo unless it stays there steady exactly at that time. What is impressive is that this thing had exactly the same structure with 12 circular lights in two photos.

The camera I used was a Canon 5d mark III with a 35 MM F 2. The lens settings are F4, ISO 1600 and 15 second exposure.

Note: Debunkers will say that the photo represents one light moving in a 15 second time period. NO, this is not an explanation because two photos were taken about one minute apart and both show the line of lights. Both photos were taken with a 15 second exposure. Japan Moving Lights

Hokkaido — My name is Yuji Mashiko, I am a UFO researcher, author and translator and conducted a camping trip at Tokachidake Mountain area which has been famous for UFO sightings, and videotaped UFO flying with zigzag motion at a high speed. The Japanese news agencies put them on their YouTube account and on National UFO Reporting Center. This video was taken at 23:26 p.m. on June 24, 2014 at the camping site near Mt. Tokachidake, an active volcano, which has been famous for UFO sightings for decades. You can see a bright object soaring horizontally across the sky from the east to the south. I fixed my camera position and the zigzag motion of the object was not because of camera shake. The temperature was too cold for flying insects. It was a dark moonless night my small digital camera (CASIO EX-H10) could not catch any starlight. About one and half hours before I saw UFO, I saw a long-haired young tall slender lady in white clothes with black hair that suddenly disappeared while looking at Tokachidake Mountains where the UFO later appeared.

Earlier in the year on February 25, 2014, when I was on the beach of Kamakura I saw another mysterious young gentleman who suddenly disappeared before a large green disk-UFO that circled over my head and flew away. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Namibia Pointy Shaped

Oranjemund – My name is Marius du plessis and I was driving from Portnolloth (Northern Cape) 35 km to Alexander bay when I saw ufo activity on August 16, 2014. It was pointy shaped with a white and blue light behind it and as it passed it gave a blast like a nitro boost or warp speed and was gone. At first I thought it was a shooting star but I have never seen it blast and pick up speed and was gone. Thanks to UFOinfo.com

Peru Cigar

I decided to go out to the garden on July 27, 2014, and saw this object above the mountains in the form of cigar that had three lights that seemed to come out of their windows.

I called my brother and mom, but a flickering light from the object in the form of cigar appeared in the mountains. The lights of the cigar climbed up higher in the mountains where nobody lives. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Turkey Object

Istanbul — I was with a friend making a photo tour near to the blue Mosque around 3.30 pm, on August 16, 2014, when I looked across to the mosque to see an object directly above it. The object was moving about the same speed as a high level airline at 30,000 feet. My friend could also see it and we both immediately agreed it was no plane. We watched it continue to move for three seconds before I raised my camera and zoomed in my 135 mm lens. I got a sharply focused picture and when I tried to take more pictures the object vanished. It was definitely a metallic sphere that might be a drone but it vanished so quickly this is doubtful. Thanks to MUFON CMS

UK Sightings

Colwyn Bay — Whilst out walking on the beach at Llanddulas at 7 am and watched some diving sea birds on August 16, 2014, I saw a weird solid structure. It was in the sky above the birds and moved slowly south towards the beach. It was very solid and metal looking. I quickly grabbed my mobile phone and took a picture as it turned east. It had a pair of dipped wings or something hanging down from it on each side, but it was also a bit pointed at the front. It made a slight humming sound and it had white and blue lights that seemed to glow or pulsate.

As it turned to the East they changed to a yellow and moved down the coastline and seemed to change shape slightly and disappeared. I am familiar with aircraft and this was no helicopter or fixed wing craft! Thanks to MUFON CMS

Brixham – Iwas having a meal outside on the balcony of the Breakwater Bistro, on July 31, 2014, when I noticed a vertical rainbow effect in the sky, so I took a photograph. I noticed a dark shape appear so I took another picture. I first thought the dark object was a small cloud, but there are no other dark clouds in the sky, and it had a strange shape. The sun was off to the right. It didn’t feel right and I joked about the cloud being a UFO to my husband. The object disappeared. I was watching it intermittently over around 10 minutes. We did not tell others as we were in a restaurant and hubby said it was a black cloud.Thanks to MUFON CMS

Edinburgh News states, “The oddly-shaped light in the sky was captured by Catherine Stuart and her mother Susan on August 9, 2014, who were in the queue for Saturday’s late-night Tattoo, just before 10.30 pm. Ms Stuart, who lives in London, said she had no explanation for the strange apparition, which disappeared soon after they photographed it. The 31-year-old said she thought the “weird” object was a bird at first. She added: “It was very strange to see because when we looked at it again it didn’t look like a bird.“ It was hovering around and then it disappeared. It was a weird shape, like a square light. Venezuela UFO

Raposa Serra do Sol — An unidentified flying object (UFO) was spotted in the city of Uiramutã located within the Raposa Serra do Sol in Roraima northern sky on July 12, 2014. The record was made by landscape Tetsuia Eda, 42, the last day at 2:14 pm. The photo records a gray oval object moving through the clouds. “I was next to a waterfall and took the photo with a camera phone. The sky was totally clean,” said Eda. “Just saw the object when I showed the picture to a friend. He showed me and I was surprised,” he said. According to the physicist of the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR), who examined the photographs, Miguel Campos, it is not possible to confirm the presence of a UFO in the photo. UFO sighting over Gig Harbor Washington on 11th August 2014

New amazing video footage of a bright UFO sighting recorded in the daytime sky above Gig Harbor Washington on 11th August 2014.

Witness said:
I was on the beach at low tide in Gig Harbor WA (Forest Beach Drive), on Monday, August 11, 2014 around noon with my children and grandchildren. I was photographing everyone catching crabs and star fish and looking at shells on the beach. I just decided to take a picture of the horizon and the lovely scenery. I did not see anything unusual with my eyes, nor did I see anything but the scenery through the camera lens. No one with me noticed anything unusual in the sky.

However, when I downloaded the photos later that day I saw the round yellow object in four sequential (rapid shot) photos and the object was in a different position in each one. I am not saying it’s a UFO, but everyone who has seen the photos says it has to be. The object was too far from land on either side of the Bay to have been a frisbee or a remote control plane. When I zoomed in close on the computer, the object definitely “looks” like a UFO with a little bulge on the top and what looks like a row of windows — although I’m sure it could be any number of things. I was standing on the west facing beach, looking out over Hales Passage (part of Puget Sound). The four photos were taken at 12:04:18.

While camping in Algonquin Park on 2014-08-20 with my wife. At around 1:30 am. We saw these strange lights in the sky over ” Lake of Two Rivers ” Southern Sky. These lights weren’t there the night before and they weren’t there the next day. It seemed to us like they were just hovering there. Not sure what they were. So I caught it on video and thought I would share.

Locking your bedroom door won’t help… Presenting five terrifying creatures, monsters and aliens that prefer to visit at night, including shadow people, the shadowman and the Hat Man; the mare, alp and nightmare demons of folklore; machine elves and clockwork elves; the horrifying Cherokee witch / wizard known as the Raven Mocker; and of course extraterrestrial aliens visitors. Some have been caught on tape, but are they real or caused by disorders like sleep paralysis and fueled by scary stories and creepypasta?

1. Shadow People

A shadow person (also known as a shadow figure, shadow being or black mass) is the perception of a patch of shadow as a living, humanoid figure, particularly as interpreted by believers in the supernatural as the presence of a malevolent entity.

The Coast to Coast AM late night radio talk show helped popularize modern beliefs in shadow people. The first time the topic of shadow people was discussed at length on the show was April 12, 2001 when host Art Bell interviewed Thunder Strikes. During the show, listeners were encouraged to submit drawings of shadow people that they had seen and a large number of these drawings were immediately shared publicly on the website. Later that year, on October 1, 2001, Heidi Hollis published a book on the topic of shadow people.

2. Raven Mocker

The Raven Mocker, or ka’lanu ahkyeli’ski, is an evil being from Cherokee mythology who robs the old, sick and dying of their lives. Normally appearing as old, withered men and women, when they hunt a victim they take to the air in a fiery shape, and with the sounds of a raven’s cry and a strong wind. After tormenting and killing their victim by slitting the victim’s head they consume his heart (doing so without leaving a mark on the victim’s skin), and add a year to their life for every year that the slain would have still lived. Much like a banshee, the sound of a raven mocker means that someone will soon die.

Raven mockers are normally invisible when feeding, but those with strong medicine can not only spot them but cause them to die within seven days. Medicine men will sometimes stand guard over the dying to prevent raven mockers from stealing the heart of the afflicted.

Raven mockers are feared and envied by the other witches of Cherokee folklore, and their bodies may be abused by said witches after death. He is the Angel of Death in such a way he was menacing.

3. MARE

A mare or nightmare  is an evil spirit or goblin in Germanic folklore which rides on people’s chests while they sleep, bringing on bad dreams (or “nightmares”). The mare is often similar to the mythical creatures succubus and incubus, and was likely inspired by sleep paralysis.

Machine elves are faceless multi-dimensional beings that appear machine like.

5. ALIENS

The terms alien abduction or abduction phenomenon describe “subjectively real memories of being taken secretly against one’s will by apparently nonhuman entities and subjected to complex physical and psychological procedures”.[ People claiming to have been abducted are usually called "abductees" or "experiencers".

Due to a paucity of objective physical evidence, most scientists and mental health professionals dismiss the phenomenon as "deception, suggestibility (fantasy-proneness, hypnotizability, false memory syndrome), personality, sleep paralysis, psychopathology, psychodynamics [and] environmental factors”. Skeptic Robert Sheaffer sees similarity between the aliens depicted in early science fiction films, in particular, Invaders From Mars, and some of those reported to have actually abducted people.

The 46 second CCTV clip, uploaded on YouTube, shows a bright, white object hurtling through the air at breakneck pace on an industrial site in Prokopyevsky, Russia.

The eerie clip video has been watched more than 38,000 times and has attracted no fewer than 56 comments from Ufologists, all eager to try to explain the bizarre phenomenon.

 A poster known as Russell Davies from Shropshire is among them.

 He wrote: “I see up to 12 of these a day in Shrewsbury UK, you can call them, they respond to telepathic communication.

“They generally appear at night in order to evade detection by a paranoid and largely hostile military.

“They are probes sent out from ET mother-ships, and are here simply to catalogue the state of the biosphere-earth and even to monitir human emotions, as well as behaviour.”

Another poster, Sean Boice, wrote: “Two years ago, my friends and I saw a orb like this, it moved left and right real quick, was egg shaped, and had colors like plasma all over it.

“About 20 minutes into watching it, two fighter jets flew over with a third one joining them in formation, then flew towards the orbs, did a circle, and then left.”

Giant Foot Print 200 Million Yrs Old – South Africa (Video and Photos)

Michael Tellinger shows off what could be one of the best pieces of evidence that there were giants on Earth a long, long time ago. Geologists have marvelled at this giant foot print in rough granite, about 4 feet long. Some still say that it is a natural erosion pattern. 

Personally I find that suggestion highy improbable for various reasons that I will not go into here. Prof. Pieter Wagener from UPE, suggests that “there is a higher probability of little green men arriving from space and licking it out with their tongues, than being created by natural erosion”.

It is located in South Africa, near the town of Mpaluzi, close to the Swaziland border. It is estimated to be between 200 million and 3 Billion years old because of our current understanding of the formation of granites in Earth’s history. This dating immediately causes great debate and argument – so I urge you to keep your mind open and focused on the evidence.

This amazing footprint in granite was discovered in 1912 by a hunter called Stoffel Coetzee, while hunting in the remote area. At the time this was a deeply remote part of South Africa known as the Eastern Transvaal, teeming with wild life, including antelope and lions. It remains in the same condition as it was when first discovered and the possibility that this was a carved hoax is extremely low because of its remote location. Even today, it is difficult to find.

The real mystery is how this amazing phenomenon occured – I have no idea – but here it is and we cannot wish it away. 

YES – It is granite – it is a well recognised geological part of South Africa and recorded on all geological maps – that is why this footprint is such an incredible mystery. It can be desribed as a “phenocrystic” granite, OR coarse porphyritic granite, that underwent several different stages of cooling. The result being an interesting mixture of large and small granules. This is why granite companies are keen to mine this area for granite because it will look really “pretty” when polished. In the official Geology Of South Africa, this outcrop is called Mpuluzi Batholith (Granite) and the official dating of this rock produced dates of around 3,1 billion years.

A real mystery that needs close scientific examination.

On the lower surface of the outer rim the craft had 12 lights. The color of the disk was a dull metal gray. There was an insignia on the dome resembling the letter “T” with 2 props on its sides. The entrance into the disk was found on the top of the upper dome. The general shape of the disk resembled that of a German soldier’s helmet with a small protrusion on the bottom.”  “Inside the circular cabin were 3 small seats, there were control panels around the dome and 3 alien beings were found: one was dead, the other two were alive. One of the live aliens died soon after the crash, and the second live alien remained in custody for about 1.5 months and then died. The aliens were small dwarfs, about 0.9-1.0m in height, with large hairless pear-shaped heads, small dystrophic looking bodies, long narrow hands with 4 fingers, grayish skin and large dark slanted eyes.”  “The Germans were afraid to move the disk to a more distant location, out of apprehension that it might explode during a long trip during transportation. So, a research laboratory had to be constructed nearby. From Hirschberg the disk was removed to a more secured underground location, which most likely, was called “Der Riese” a Nazi complex in the nearby Gory Sowie mountains (now in southwest Poland), which was also a site being used for excavating for uranium ore. This complex had an extensive network of underground hangars, connected by tunnels. The bodies of the occupants and the living extraterrestrial were also moved into this complex. The alien that lived for a little bit over a month apparently supplied the Germans with some type of information and was desperately asking the Nazi medical doctors for help, but they could not help him because of the different biological structure of his body. The alien died from an unknown illness.”

The disk apparently still emanates radiation from its power plant, but because of the nearby uranium mines this source of radiation remains undetected.”

(N.Morgan) The ancient Greek tomb of Amphipolis has sparked intense interest recently due to the large burial mound found beneath it and it has captured the imagination of the public and the archeology world alike. The public is now imploring local politicians to begin tours of the ancient, beautiful site. The Culture Ministry appealed Thursday for “understanding” while the Amphipolis excavation proceeds. The partially uncovered tomb from the end of Greek warrior-king Alexander the Great’s reign, which was found inside the mound, has sparked intense media interest amid wild speculation that it may contain rich treasures or the bones of an ancient celebrity. Alexander inherited the throne of Macedonia, in northern Greece, from where he set off to conquer a vast empire reaching India. He died in 323 B.C. at age 33 and was buried in Egypt – although the precise location of his grave is one of the enduring mysteries of archaeology. Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras has already visited the Amphipolis excavation and state TV daily leads news bulletins with incremental developments about the dig.

The Palermo Monster

Eight beachcombers thought fame & fortune awaited them when they found a monstrous carcass washed ashore near Palermo, Italy, July 2,1989. “It was at least 100ft long, snake-like, & had a huge head & a wide mouth full of vicious, needle-like teeth.”

Excitement turned sour when “military types showed up, confiscated our cameras & made us leave.” Later, no trace of it could be found, & nothing appeared in the media. This pic is the only apparent survivor.

What was in my house?

Where do I even start? I’m exhausted, I have bags under my eyes and I feel like I’m about to fall over. Last night my roommate went out around 8PM with a guy, and I climbed up to bed at 10PM, making sure I locked the front and back doors. I did my ritual, and got situated in bed, then I heard the bathroom door downstairs close. I figured my roommate was home so I brushed it off, then I heard a soft voice say “no” and heavy footsteps on the bottom of the stairs…. So I texted her, asking if she was home. Then the footsteps were in my hall and I could hear the voice again, “no, no, no” over and over again, it sounded like a little kid. I texted her two more times before I got a response, that kept me up and watching my door for my life. She wasn’t home….. The heavy footsteps came to my door around 11, and I could hear a faint scratching, followed by a whispering child’s voice, “no, no, no” I flipped the f**k out then, hid under my blanket like a child and cuddled with my cat…. Her tail was bushed up, as if she angry….

Sure enough daylight broke and the noises stopped, I looked out Ito the hall…. Her door was closed when I went to bed last night…. It’s wide open… Now she’s sending me weird messages…. Saying it’s a spirit from her dreams… I didn’t know how to respond when she said no…. So I waited til this morning to reply….

The ‘Glastonbury Glawackus’ Legend

GLASTONBURY, CT — It was a creature that let out “blood curdling yells at night.” It was described as witnesses who saw it as a large dog with a cat-like face. Small dogs disappeared or were found mutilated along with goats and sheep.

And so the legend of the “Glastonbury Glawackus” began.

It was the middle of a cold, snowy winter in 1939 when The Hartford Courant ran a story of a hunting party that went into the wilds of Glastonbury in search of the creature. It was a headline writer’s dream as the newspaper’s front page read: “Guffaws of Glastonbury Glawackus Greet Gloomy Gang Of Gunners.” The search party turned up nothing.

“The Glawackus was still loose in the snow-covered hills of Glastonbury Tuesday night, victor over the wiles of the best huntsmen in these parts,” read the January 18, 1939 article. “Until they’re sure, the scientific term Glawackus will be used. The name come from Glastonbury, its habitat, and from wacky, to describe the way everyone feels about the whole thing. The ending makes it sound Latin and authentic.”

The Courant printed a map showing the area of the three big Glawackus hunts and pinpointing bits of “Glawackiana” – areas where dogs and other domestic animals killed or mauled; areas Glawackus heard howling; areas where Glawackus was seen and “dogs chased something” locations.

The sightings and hunts were confined to the wilderness portion of southern and eastern parts of town. Some believed the creature was a mountain lion that escaped from a Manchester, Vermont zoo after the great hurricane of 1938.

“Because the animal is out of its native habitat, the animal is probably restless,” warden Charles Allshouse said. “and might move on and be reported some distance away in a short time. However, it will probably stay around as long as there are enough rabbits to meet the needs of a mountain lion’s appetite.”

Others thought the creature may be a lynx.

“I never saw a glawackus,” said a New Britain policeman in a Jan. 23 article. “but I’ll bet that animal over there in Glastonbury isn’t one. I’ll bet it’s a lynx. Four years ago there were two lynx off here in the Pinnacle Mountains. They were mates and nobody caught or killed them. They can have a whole family around these parts by now.”

The lone hunter to see the creature was Hartfordite William F. Bonvouloir in the wilderness near Diamond Lake when a “beautiful black creature about three feet long with a tail two feet long leap out of the scrubwood in front of them.”

“Bonvouloir brought up his shotgun and cut loose with the right barrel,” according to the Courant article. “The 12-gauge charge bit into a rotted tree stump as the startled cat began zipzagging through the underbrush.” A second shot misfired as the cat “kicked back sprays of snow as it fled into a stretch of green cedars.”

But once a legend is born, it was hard to resist the pull of a myth. There was a community dance called the Glawackus Ball. An article ran about children making a Glawackus-man in the snow. Hunting clubs made Glawackus targets for members to shoot. Even local poets were inspired.

Or wildcat, where is he?

Perhaps it’s some poor tabby

Now hiding in a tree.

But if the great safari

Its big game could not stalk,

Through wood and open landscape,

It had a lovely walk.”

The fervor began to die down when a large brown dog was killed in July by hunters. The headline from July 7, 1939 read “Mysterious Glawackus Is No More.” The dog was taken in a baited bear trap, shot and buried in an unmarked grave.

“In a few days the beast was caught and bullets ended its suffering,” read the article. “A few persons witnessed the incident and they decided to bury the animal and say no more about it.”

“After that, Glawackus was seen no more and, one by one,” read a 1958 article marking the 20th anniversary, “Glawackus men admitted that the dog probably was the terrible monster – well, maybe, perhaps. Still others waited until Middletown farmers one night reported seeing a “strange beast passing through. That, they said, must have been him.”

The bottom line? The legend of the Glawackus sold newspapers and brought some excitement to a sleepy town during a long winter.

“It relieved the monotony of a dreary winter,” a July 8 editorial noted. “It provided small talk for uncounted dinner tables just as the subject of the hurricane began to pall. It got any number of ordinarily slothful individuals into the open air…Now it is dead, but if one knows Glastonbury, it will rise again. It was too useful to remain long buried.” – Courant

The ‘Other Bloop’

An unexplained sound has permeated the water from one end of the Pacific to the other since 1991. What could it be?

It isn’t whales or ship vibrations or any of the other usual suspects making this noise in the ocean. In 1991, scientists first detected what has become known as the Upsweep.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) describes Upsweep: “It consists of a long train of narrow-band upsweeping sounds of several seconds duration each.” It’s been detected from one end of the Pacific to the other, a huge range.

The US Navy had never seen this signal before in its decades of listening under the waves, according to a 2002 New Scientist article. Upsweep was heard straight across the Pacific, ruling out certain localized or small-scale sources.

What Was ‘The Bloop’

The sound persisted, with a peak in strength in 1994. Since then, it has been subsiding, though it remains audible, reports the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). It seems to peak in the spring and fall. This could be related to the source of the sound, or it may simply be that the sound travels better in the aquatic environment at these times for whatever reason, says NOAA.

The sound is uniform overall, unlike the varied sounds of most volcanic activity and unlike the varied intonations of whale communications. But Emile Okal of Northwestern University in Chicago and Jacques Talandier, formerly with the French Atomic Energy Agency, suggested a particular type of volcanic activity that may be the cause.

In 1996, they hypothesized that it may be the sound of seawater coming into contact with a large pool of lava, explained New Scientist. They used seismometers to trace where the sound may be coming from, concluding that it may originate in the remote southern Pacific. NOAA states that the source may be in this region, at the location of inferred volcanic seismicity. “But,” notes NOAA, “the origin of the sound is unresolved.”

Another theory was explained by Christopher Fox, who studied the sounds as director of NOAA’s acoustic monitoring project. The movement of water can make noise like the movement of wind and currents may be responsible.

Until the mystery is solved, many theories will continue to be excite human curiosity—could it be an unknown species of sea creature? Could it be a geological oddity or undiscovered phenomenon? Some explanations are more likely than others, but with 95 percent of the world’s oceans unexplored by humans, the possibility of discovering something new is ever-present.

Mysterious noises of the deep have perplexed scientists before, but were eventually explained. For example, the Bloop was a loud, ultra-low frequency sound heard in 1997 across some 3,000 miles of the Pacific. NOAA later discovered that it was the sound of an icequake created by the cracking and melting of sea ice and the calving of glaciers. Find the audio files at The Epoch Times
