MANY WITNESS WEIRD LIGHTS IN SWITZERLAND

I , together with 50-100 people had witnessed a major UFO sighting in Lausanne, Switzerland in 1997, and it still mystifies me to this date. What is most surprising is that I am unable to find any reference to it on the internet and so am writing to you in the hope that you would be able to investigate.  The year was 1997 and I was doing my post-graduate studies in an internationally acclaimed institution in Lausanne that year. I am from Asia and have since gone back to live in Asia, it was only that year that I was spending in Lausanne. It was in the later half of the year probably in Aug or Sep. It was a Saturday night, and had gone out in one part of Lausanne with some friends. I then left that part of Lausanne and was walking to another part of Lausanne where I was meeting some other friends.  Suddenly, I saw hundreds of people who had stepped out of their restaurants and looking in the sky. This was near the Lake Geneva shore and the area was an upmarket one with classy restaurants. The people witnessing this were all urban, well educated and well-off people. I looked up in the sky and saw somewhere between 15 – 20 lights hovering in the sky. They were fairly low in the sky and hence could be seen clearly,  no room for doubt on maybe eyes playing game on us etc. The closest one could think of the lights was a formation of military aircrafts, but they couldn’t be aircrafts because they were just stationary and making no sound. As I mentioned, it was so unique that people eating in many restaurants there had all come out of their restaurants half way through their meal to witness this.

After a few minutes, the lights moved up into the sky very quickly and disappeared in the same formation, perfectly synchronized. I myself am a well educated person in senior management, and not one prone to believing in unexplained phenomena. This was a very clear incident of unidentified flying object with no room for doubt.  Unfortunately, none of my friends were there. I expected this to be reported in the newspapers next day. But the newspapers were all in French and I don’t know French at all. I asked some of my friends who knew French whether anything was mentioned in the newspapers, and they said no. Those days of course, the internet was just in its infancy.  For years now, every now and then, I search the internet to see if this has been highlighted anywhere, especially in specialist ufo sites like yours, but surprise not to find anything. I am hoping you have associates in Lausanne, Switzerland who are able to talk to the locals there and find out.

This took place in an area called Ouchy, that is just by the lakeside. There are a clutch of restaurants on Avenue Willaim Fraise very close to the Movenpick Hotel.

Bright UFO sighting over Perry Hall, Maryland on 2nd August 2014

New interesting video footage of a bright UFO sighting recorded over Perry Hall, Maryland on 2nd August 2014.

Witness said:

In Perry Hall, I was working on laptop from my car. I saw this object out of the corner of my eye. There was a big lightning storm moving in from west when it appeared in clear skies of the east. I thought maybe it was a remote-control airplane, but it would have been very large at the apparent distance it was at, and it climbed straight up at the end. I wasn’t sure if an RC airplane could do that. I videotaped it on my cellphone, but didn’t realize it was still in view when I stopped recording. Later when showing the footage to a military friend of mine, I noticed it reappeared at the end going straight up behind a tree – hadn’t noticed at the time. Military friend said it didn’t look like a drone. Just curious what it was – it was interesting to watch.

Soviet and American Astronauts Saw Alien Craft

Astronaut Donald (Deke) Slayton a Mercury Seven astronaut stated in an interview, that he had seen a UFO in 1951:

• “I was testing a P-51 fighter in Minneapolis when I spotted this object. I was at about 10,000 feet on a nice, bright, sunny afternoon. I thought the object was a kite, and then realized that no kite is going to [sic] fly that high. As I got closer, it looked like a weather balloon, gray and about three feet in diameter. But as soon as I got behind the darn thing, it didn’t look like a balloon anymore. It looked like a saucer, a disc. About that same time, I realized that it was suddenly going away from me – and there I was, running at about 300 miles an hour. I tracked it for a little while, and then all of sudden the damn thing just took off. It pulled about a 45-degree climbing turn and accelerated and just flat disappeared. A couple of days later, I was having a beer with my commanding officer, and I thought, ‘ What the hell, I’d better mention something to him about it.’ I did, and he told me to get on down to intelligence and give them a report. I did, and I never heard anything more on it.”

Vladimir Kovalyonok, Major-General of Aviation stated: “On May 5, 1981, we were in orbit [in the Salyut-6 space station]. I saw an object that didn’t resemble any cosmic objects I’m familiar with. It was a round object which resembled a melon, round and a little bit elongated. In front of this object was something that resembled a gyrating depressed cone. I can draw it, it’s difficult to describe. The object resembles a barbell. I saw it becoming transparent and like with a ‘ body’ inside. At the other end I saw something like gas discharging, like a reactive object. Then something happened that is very difficult for me to describe from the point of view of physics. Last year in the magazine Nature I read about a physicist… we tried together to explain this phenomenon and we decided it was a ‘ plasmaform.’ I have to recognize that it did not have an artificial origin. It was not artificial because an artificial object couldn’t attain this form. I don’t know of anything that can make this movement… tightening, and then expanding, pulsating. Then as I was observing, something happened, two explosions. One explosion, and then 0.5 seconds later, the second part exploded. I called my colleague Viktor [Savinykh], but he didn’t arrive in time to see anything. “What are the particulars? First conclusion: the object moved in a suborbital path, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to see it. There were two clouds, like smoke, that formed a barbell. It came near me and I watched it. Then we entered in to the shade for two or three minutes after this happened. When we came out of the shade we didn’t see anything. ISS Spots Object near Space Station

This UFO was caught July 31, 2014, this week at the ISS and was seen on live cam. UFOs are seen weekly on these live cams so if you watch them, you will catch one sooner or later. NASA has never given any explanation for these UFOs near the ISS. I guess if they are guilty of hiding the facts, then they don’t want to talk about it anymore than they must. Check out this unusual Mars photo. It has numerous anomalies that cannot be explained as being made by nature. The largest anomaly is this long object that is broken into three sections. The inside reveals its intricate design. Spiritual Warriors, Aliens and Evil Spirit Exorcisms

Father Gabriele Amorth who heads the International Association of Exorcists told The Sunday Times that he will ask Pope Francis to allow all priests the right to do exorcisms to remove evil spirits, and to ensure priests are properly trained for these starting with the seminary. There’s a huge demand for them,” said Father Amorth.

He was inspired to make the request after watching Pope Francis perform what he insists was an exorcism on a man “possessed by four demons” in St. Peter’s Square. Throughout the world paranormal activity is increasing rapidly. Evil spirits easily enter people using drugs and alcohol.

Several years ago spiritual warrior Bill Bean visited with me and told me how he had photographed UFOs near the Baltimore Airport. He also mentioned his family was plagued by evil forces at their Glen Burnie, Maryland house where he grew up in. His father had become an abusive alcoholic after moving into the home, and Bill believes his father fell under a demonic influence. Bill turned to God and eventually became a Deliverance Minister and Exorcist. He wrote the book Dark Force that describes in terrifying detail the events that tormented his family. He believes the power of God through Jesus Christ he’s able to cast out demons. I personally have observed demonic encounters and successful exorcisms so there is a dimension here that needs further investigation.

He was recently was on Coast to Coast Radio and finds each case he works on to have differences, yet a certain similarity because “demons have the same modus of operation. They wear people down and destroy them and “they hope they can get people to destroy others before they destroy themselves,” he said. Bean spoke about several cases in which he served as an exorcist, including that of a possessed 135-lb. woman who showed signs of super-strength, as she began choking him with just one hand. It took nine police officers and an EMT to hold her down, he stated. Prisoner Randall Grier in his book “Escape From Hell,” tells of how God brought him out of a possible life-without-parole sentence and his experience as a Christian, in prison, thrust him into a satanic world that I had no idea existed. He witnessed two of his best friends were stabbed to death, brutally murdered, by demon-possessed human beings. He heard demon-possessed human beings acting and making sounds like animals. He had people run to him in terror to tell him they saw a demon running down the prison hall and wanted to know about Jesus. He witnessed demonic activity where demons would change things in the physical realm like aliens can do. The point is there is a parallel between the UFO phenomenon and demonic seduction, and the abductions resulting in hybrid offspring are being reported in both the UFO field and demonic encounters.

Demons may have found modern beliefs in aliens to be a great cover for their operations that have been reported for thousands of years.In cultures throughout the world, there are tales of intimate encounters with otherworldly beings. Though it cannot always be explained, paranormal phenomena is reported by numerous and credible witnesses.

Jacques Vallee holds a master’s degree in astrophysics and a Ph.D. in computer science from Northwestern University, and was an early scientific proponent of the theory that UFOs are extraterrestrial spaceships. His first book, “Anatomy of a Phenomenon” argued eloquently that “through UFO activity … the contours of an amazingly complex intelligent life beyond the earth can be discerned. Vallee emphasized three points: one, the UFO phenomenon is real; two, it has been with us throughout history; three, it is physical in nature yet it represents a form of consciousness that is able to manipulate dimensions beyond time and space as we know them.

Vallee’s friend and mentor Allen Hynek had arrived at a similar conclusion as early as 1976, when he began expressing his doubts that UFOs are nuts-and-bolts spacecraft from other worlds. Hynek stated, “It’s ridiculous to suppose that super intelligence would travel enormous distances to do relatively stupid things like stop cars, collect soil samples, perform repetitive “medical exams” on abducted clients, and generally go around frightening people.”

Hynek key idea was that UFOs may operate in a multi-dimensional reality of which space-time is a subset that they may exist in a parallel universe.

Jacques Vallee in his autobiographical book, “Forbidden Science,” Vallee summed up his views about the provenance of UFOs, developed through decades of research: “The UFO Phenomenon exists. It has been with us throughout history. It is physical in nature and it remains unexplained in terms of contemporary science. It represents a level of consciousness that we have not yet recognized, and which is able to manipulate dimensions beyond time and space as we understand them.” He does not think they are starships ferrying Aliens from outer space. Vallee thinks UFOs are likely “windows” to other dimensions manipulated by intelligent, often mischievous, always enigmatic beings we have yet to understand.

But by 1969, when he published “Passport to Magonia on UFOs, Folklore, and Parallel Worlds.” Vallee’s assessment of the UFO phenomenon had undergone a significant shift from ET to the view that UFOs are paranormal in nature and a modern space age manifestation of a phenomenon which assumes different guises in different historical contexts.

“When the underlying archetypes are extracted,” he wrote, “the saucer myth is seen to coincide to a remarkable degree with the fairy-faith of Celtic countries … religious miracles… and the widespread belief among all peoples concerning entities whose physical and psychological descriptions place them in the same category as the present-day ufonauts.”

UFOs and related phenomena are “the means through which man’s concepts are being rearranged.” There is “control system.” Described in “The Invisible College,” for planet earth,” he says. “I do not want to be misunderstood: I do not mean that some higher order of beings has locked us inside the constraints of a space-bound jail, closely monitored by psychic entities we might call angels or demons. I do not propose to redefine God. What I do mean is that mythology rules at a level of our social reality over which normal political and intellectual action has no power”

Keith Johnson and Sandra Johnson founded the New England Anomalies Research (NEAR) for the purpose of investigating and analyzing phenomena which is suspected to be of paranormal origin; that is, removed from what is currently understood and accepted as legitimate by prevailing scientific standards. The Johnson’s believe that malevolent demons can pose as deceased persons, but they are actually fallen angels who inhabit another frequency. At the haunted Slater Mill in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, risky child labor occurred, and they recorded numerous Electronic Voice Phenomenon (E.V.P.) that are the voices of discarnate entities.

The Johnson’s are called upon to assist individuals in dealing with alleged paranormal phenomena or potential inhuman infestation in their homes report, “A lot of spirits are not what they seem to be at first. They can be nice and benevolent but can turn on you once they have a foothold. Some of these spirits are very parasitic and can be very dangerous,” he detailed. Johnson recounted a case in Rhode Island he worked on which the recent movie “The Conjuring” was inspired by Carolyn Perron who saw an apparition in her bedroom of a woman in 18th century dress, whose neck seemed to have been broken? The spirit ominously chanted a warning to her, and when Carolyn’s husband woke up, his back was gouged and bleeding. The Johnson’s cleanse homes and locations, as well as conducting “deliverance” (expelling spirit attachments from people).

The Johnson’s in preparation before going into any situation where demonic forces are involved they put on the ‘Armor of God’, as described in Ephesians 6. 10 -17 “Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

Man Made UFOs

Declassified records from the Aeronautical Systems Division, USAF (RG 342 Records of United States Air Force Commands, Activities, and Organizations) reveal some surprising images:

The illustration was discovered in the pages of a document titled “Project 1794, Final Development Summary Report” (d.1956) The Air Force had contracted the work out to a Canadian company, Avro Aircraft Limited in Ontario, to construct the disk-shaped craft. According to the same report, it was designed to be a vertical take-off and landing (VTOl)

The plane was designed to reach a top speed of Mach 4, with a ceiling of over 100,000 feet, and a range of over 1,000 nautical miles. These pictures bear a strong resemblance to ‘flying saucers’ in popular science fiction films made during the years these reports were created: 1956 and 1957.

According to the Air Force these craft never reached operational status but some were flown experimentally.

Abduction Lights Orbs

The flash in the bedroom could indicate high levels of electromagnetic energy in your home. These can be dangerous to your health and welfare. Evidence of electrical burns, lightning, and plasmas such as ball lightning should be looked for. Our experience in videotaping the bedrooms of abductees is that strange balls of light were caught on the video. These moved through walls and around the room at very quickly. Some abductees believe these are reconnaissance vehicles, while some scientist’s feel they are Earthlights. In any case they may be a new form of energy that can move through walls and are often caught on cameras.

If I could figure out how to harness the energy, I would have a beautiful lighting system very similar to that described by abductees aboard the craft. We have reports from abductees who claim to see orbs that enlarge into aliens. There are those that believe the possibility of AIDS and emerging Ebola are coming from the Grays. During abductions aliens may be using some kind of a dusting spray on abductee’s bodies to protect themselves and the abductees. There is some concern that their medical techniques may not be sterile.

There are NO abductees coming back saying they saw the Grays cleaning equipment, but rather a production line of implant insertion, injections, anal probes, stretchers, cutting knives, and numerous other types of horror makers. These procedures could answer the question of where virgins have contacted AIDS or syphilis.

Dr Tom Gold, emeritus professor of astronomy at Cornell University believes that organisms based on silicon – completely unrelated to all the carbon-based life man has encountered so far – may live at great depths. Humans are carbon based life forms, but silicone based life forms might exist in another dimension or under the earth.

Katie Hall (Author), John Pickering report wrote “Beyond Photography: Encounters with Orbs, Angels and Light-Forms”

The fullest personal encounter ever published of one couple’s encounter with the paranormal, documented with photographs. Beginning with the appearance of orbs, and shedding light on other phenomena such as spirit photography, faeries, ghost lights, ball lightening, crop circles, even alien abductions.

Dr. Klaus Heinemann, a former research professor at Stanford University and researcher for NASA, says ‘ There is no doubt in my mind that the Orbs may well be one of the most significant ‘outside of this reality’ phenomena mankind at large has ever witnessed’. After literally stumbling into orbs appearing as bright as light bulbs in photographs he was taking, Heinemann immediately sensed that he was onto something profound. There was no choice but to convince himself that his notion was on solid grounds. Heinemann looked at thousands of pictures he had taken to test the hypothesis that these light circles are nothing less than emanations from Spirit beings.

Flying Shields

Gary A. David writes, “The sky god Sotuknang, took them on his flying shield up into the sky so that they could see for many miles around.” Feeding the hungry children ripe melons, he told them that they must have faith in him and in his teachings that would later arrive through their dreams. Finally he landed a short distance from the village in which their mother and father had settled, bid the young ones farewell, and flew up again into the clouds. Forever grateful to the sky god, the brother and sister walked into the village to be reunited with their parents.

Kachina dolls are objects made in human or humanlike shape, and they are common in Native American ritual, often referred to sky gods. Although sold as objects of art, the spectacular kachina dolls retain a valued religious role, particularly in educating children. Hopi Native Americans use kachina dolls to instruct their children in the ways of Hopi tradition and belief. Kachina dolls are passed out to children in ceremonies representing spirits that act as mediators between gods and humans.

On Second Mesa near Mishongnovi an ancient petroglyph depicts a dome-shaped object resting on an arrow which represents travel through space, and the head of a Hopi maiden who represents pristine purity. As the Hopis believe that other planets are inhabited, this petroglyph represents a paatuwvota or a ‘flying shield’ similar to a ‘flying saucer’ that came here in the Beginning. So now at the End the sacred ones will arrive from another planet, said to be Venus, in UFOs. Many Hopi traditionalists recently have reported seeing flying saucers, all piloted by beings they call Kachinas.” Mask of Sotuknang.

Because the Hopis had no such thing as a saucer, flying or otherwise, they named it after the cultural accouterment closest to that shape, namely, the warrior’s shield. The word tuwvota specifically signifies this type of shield. Oddly, the concept of war is connected in Hopi ideology with the stars. The use of tuwvota rather than the more common word for ‘disk’ or ‘circle’ thus suggests a celestial origin for the paatuwvota

Since the Hopi term paa means ‘water’, paatuwvota possibly refers to the expanding concentric rings in water. This might be a metaphorical description for the way the peculiar airborne device appeared to function. The related word patuka, or ‘spindle’, may also describe the shield’s spinning motion. In addition, the prefix pa- denotes wonder or awe. For the people of the desert, water equals wonder, but pa- perhaps suggests the reaction to this extraordinary means of transportation.

The tradition of the flying shield also appears in rock art. The photo at left is an ancient petroglyph, or rock carving, found near Winslow, Arizona, apparently showing a triangular craft.

Russia Builds up Forces near Ukraine

DONETSK — The Ukrainian Army is advancing towards the largest rebel-held city in Eastern Ukraine, and tension is mounting over whether a large Russian army of some 45,000 troops will launch an attack to help the repel held city. The new sanctions against Russia do not seem effective. President Vladimir Putin has resisted mounting pressure from Russian nationalists to send the army in to back the mutiny in eastern Ukraine. The flow of heavy weapons and support for separatists from Russia” has increased over the last month. Putin is likely delaying action until the need for Russian gas in Europe is strong raising his bargaining power.

Ronald Regehr writes, “DSP could detect if there was a surface-to-air missile (SAM) used to bring down the Malaysian airlines flight over Ukraine. Further, DSP has the inherent capability to determine the launch point. Since this capability was made public years ago with regards to the Iran/Iraq war, this information should NOT be classified. If President Obama does not release these data, then we KNOW there are some international games going on.

2006 Sighting Reports in July

MUFON received 1005 sightings reports through CMS from the following countries; 750 sighting reports in July for the United States. 63 in India, 59 in Canada, 32 in the UK, 18 in Spain, 11 in Australia, 6 each in Brazil, France, and Mexico, 4 in Germany, Iran, and Israel with 3 in Greece. The National UFO Reporting Center also had 1001 reports in July. More than 60 sightings reported each day.

Arizona Light

Tucson – An object was seen pulsing red, blue and white, moving up and down and side to side in perfect 90 degree angles for five minutes on July 27, 2014 at 8:20 PM. Thanks to Peter Davenport Director www.UFOCenter.com

California Disc

San Simeon — I was taking a tour of Hearst Castle with my family on July 25, 2014. Around 11:15 AM, we were nearing completion of our tour and I was taking pictures outside but did not notice anything while taking pictures. Two days later I reviewed my pictures on a laptop computer. One picture of the towers on the front of the Hearst mansion had a bird flying in it so I zoomed in to look at the bird and noticed an unidentifiable object towards the top of the picture. It does not have wings and appears to be a “typical” flying saucer type object. I’m stationed nearby, in the Army and am fairly tuned in to what is going on around/above me. I cropped the picture to show the Disc.

Murrieta — I saw a giant sized object in the sky. It was changing direction, had black, fire and golden light. It reflected light, looked like it was on fire or giving off radiation at Midnight on August 1, 2014.

Response from Witness: This is a real photo of a boomerang shape that looked like it was on fire or had a golden glow of light. The sighting lasted about 5 minutes as it changed direction and hovered. It fell then came by the road. As it was passing me I snapped the shot and blew it up. It has red radiation around it. The sighting was at midnight, on August 1, 2014, in a field behind Vista School. This picture is not what I saw. It was a very large object moving very fast until it got very close. It had golden, black, beam lights. It looked like it was emitting radiation or was on fire. It came slowly above my car and changed direction.

Missouri Chevron

Dixon – I saw a bright light through the trees while sitting on the back porch at roughly 5 AM on July 16, 2014. It was as bright as the moon but disappeared due to the trees that then cleared above them. I was thinking “this is a UFO” due to its apparent shape and size and brightness. I woke my husband and told him to get up and we watched it fly over our house together. I ran into the front yard and hid under some trees in case it was watching me. It was 1/6 size of the moon. It was a blinding white light. It was either a chevron shape, but not a complete triangle. We were able to watch it together for at least 30 seconds before it disappeared from our sight. New Jersey Triangular Formation

Cape May – At 9:30 pm on July 30, 2014, two friends and I were on the second floor deck enjoying the day’s events and looking at the stars and saw a helicopter head up the coast (NE) and returned 15 minutes later. It left at 9:47 pm, when I spotted three faint amber lights SW in a triangular formation out over the water. The lights were moving very fast in formation to the NE, up the coast of Cape May over the ocean. We could not determine the size or distance from us, but we estimate the speed at 900 mph based on other aircraft that were in the area.

About 8 seconds after initial sighting the craft was lost in the light pollution and appeared to perform a slight rotation. It was that quick, no time for cameras and we were quite amazed at the speed at which the lights moved. Thanks to MUFON CMS

New York Light

Middletown – Driving home from dinner my wife and I on July 27, 2014, spotted candle flame a little smaller than the moon. Only it didn’t flicker. I can see patterns but they didn’t move. I was driving so I kept my eyes on the road while glancing at the thing in the sky. When we reached our driveway we got out and watched it recede — still in a straight line — while another plane taking off from Stewart Airport, in nearby Newburgh was flying the opposite direction at a slight angle. It became small in the distance and just turned itself off. We waited a bit to see if it would come on again, but it didn’t. Thanks to MUFON CMS

On July 31 2014, about 9:05 pm, I left home traveling southeast when I saw two bright almost oval orange lights in the sky. They were in front of me, so I stopped my vehicle to look more closely to see orange lights moving through the sky almost horizontally similar to the little red blinking light on an airplane but 5-10 times the size. I noticed a third identical light following the first two, I decided to continue to my destination a 1/4 mile away to see if I could still see them. I came to a traffic light and took a photo with my cell phone”. I saw a car coming the opposite way thatran the red light. I pulled into the parking lot, saw four lights heading northeast and took a second photo.Thanks to MUFON CMS

South Carolina Barrel

Cayce — My mother and stepfather were sitting by the pool on June 1, 2014, when he noticed an object and asked, “What’s that?” It wasn’t a balloon but following the wind heading east. He grabbed the binoculars and we started videotaping. It was shaped like a barrel, overblown to the point of bowing. The “wooden slats” now spaced apart from the bowing appeared to be a metal, grayish in color. With at least two, possibly three horizontal straps made of the same metal. The interior if you will was close to a deflated football and wrinkled from being half flat. It had roughly the same texture as a football with a teardrop tip on top. It was hovering and rotating, gaining and losing altitude, slowly heading north to the Columbia International Airport with planes taking off. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Washington Triangle

Yelm — Walking to the store down the road by a construction area on August 1, 2014, I saw lights in the sky that I thought was an airplane until the lights started changing. I saw lights in a triangle shape with green pulsating lights from a very bright point. There was no sound coming from the object in the sky.

After seeing the object it was scary, but yet exciting. The object moved in our direction but I was afraid to look at it any more. Thanks to MUFON CMS

West Virginia Six Bright Lights

Barboursville — I was sitting in the living room at about 1 am, on a cloudy, starless night on August 3, 2014. I looked out the window and saw six bright, glowing objects hovering in the sky. They were arranged like stair steps, and you could have drawn a diagonal line through them. I knew they weren’t stars because it was a cloudy night. They were also slightly bigger and brighter than airplanes. They had a yellow-orange glow. I prayed to God asking what it was and stood up with my iPod to take a picture. They began to move in a scattered motion from their diagonal arrangement. One by one they faded into the sky in about 30 seconds. Cobourg, Ontario – On Friday June 27, 2014, I went to a festival along the boardwalk and the beach was busy. We went down to the shorelines and enjoyed the afternoon on the beach. Later in the day around 4:30 pm, I noticed something quite strange south over Lake Ontario. This dark black unknown object appeared static – as like looking at a mirage. The distance appeared miles away dark static black. It moved very slow east for about 30 minutes. So on a high 20X optical zoom I could not ID this unknown. It had a strange box like structure. Italy Lights

San Giovanni Rotondo — The sighting lasted about 5 minutes on August 5, 2014. In the beginning there were four lights, but after a minute, two of them have suddenly disappeared.

The lights were moving south in direction from Gargano to the Tavoliere delle Puglie. To the naked eyes they were much bigger and looked like red balls of fire.

Cancun — My girlfriend and I were at our hotel in Cancun when I noticed a strange object in the sky on May 20, 2014. At first I thought it was a bird, but it was descending rapidly and the closer it came down towards us I thought it might be a UFO. I grabbed my iPhone and started recording it and got some good footage as it descended and hovered for a moment then shot off rapidly.

Philippines Flying Object

Manila — On 28 June 2014, an 11 year old girl vacationing at the Hotel Sofitel with her family chanced upon a married couple celebrating their wedding anniversary who used to coach at her school. The girl took out her mobile phone and took several pictures of the couple as they lounged at sunset on Manila Bay. The girl immediately uploaded the first picture she took to her Instagram friend who commented that the picture was that of a UFO. The girl had not seen the object when she took the photo or anything that resembled the object in size or shape. Iasi – On August 3, 2014, at 9:45 PM, I went to the veranda and looked south over the city to see a bright red-yellow light moving slowly upwards. It moved east vertically upwards and did not explode. The bright light moved slowly for about two minutes, covering about 4 km, and then slowed until it was almost hovering. Then gradually the light dimmed to a red-brown and went out. I noticed a second hovering very bright light to the west that was slowly moving horizontally towards the south, but then the light begun to fade, as had the previous bright light, and it disappeared. Five minutes later a third bright light behaved similarly. There were no planes expected at the airport during this time. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Sutton Coldfield — I was looking at the moon out of my bedroom window on July 13, 2014, using my Digital SLR Sony A58 camera, and using a 55-300 lens at full length. It was clear night, no clouds or breeze etc. the camera was on a tripod and I was using a remote, to reduce shake.

I only saw the object after I uploaded the photos onto my computer. The object didn’t appear in any photos prior or after the image with the object. I am ruling out a bird or a bat or a plane/helicopter as, when I zoom in, it just seems as though the object is too far away, and actually looks like it’s closer to the moon than the earth! Izmail — In the early morning I went out on a balcony to breathe crisp air, when something gave me an idea to take picture of the sky on July 14, 2014.

500,000-year-old Spark Plug Found In Rock?

On February 13, 1961, Wallace Lane, Virginia Maxey, and Mike Mikesell were seeking interesting mineral specimens, particularly geodes, for their “LM & V Rockhounds Gem and Gift Shop” in Olancha, California.

On this particular day, the trio were about six miles northeast of Olancha, near the top of a peak about 4,300 feet in elevation and about 340 feet above the dry bed of Owens Lake.

According to Maxey, “We hiked about three miles north, after we had parked some five miles east of State Highway 395, south of Olancha, California.” At lunchtime, after collecting rocks most of the morning, all three placed their specimens in the rock sack Mikesell was carrying.

The next day in the gift shop’s workroom, Mikesell ruined a nearly new diamond saw blade while cutting what he thought was a geode. Inside the nodule that was cut, Mikesell did not find a cavity as so many geodes have, but a perfectly circular section of very hard, white material that appeared to be porcelain.

In the center of the porcelain cylinder, was a 2-millimeter shaft of bright metal.

The metal shaft responded to a magnet.

There were still other odd qualities about the specimen. The outer layer of the specimen was encrusted with fossil shells and their fragments.

In addition to shells, the discoverers noticed two nonmagnetic metallic metal objects in the crust, resembling a nail and a washer.

Stranger still, the inner layer was hexagonal and seemed to form a casing around the hard porcelain cylinder. Within the inner layer, a layer of decomposing copper surrounded the porcelain cylinder.

Very little is known about the initial physical inspections of the artifact. According to discoverer Virginia Maxey, a geologist she spoke with who examined the fossil shells encrusting the specimen said the nodule had taken at least 500,000 years to attain its present form.

However, the identity of the first geologist is still a mystery, and his findings were never officially published.

Another investigation was conducted by creationist Ron Calais. Calais is the only other individual known to have physically inspected the artifact, and was allowed to take photographs of the nodule in both X ray and natural light. Calais’s X-rays brought interest in the artifact to a new level.

The X-ray of the upper end of the object seemed to reveal some sort of tiny spring or helix. INFO Journal Publisher Ronald J. Willis speculated that it could actually be “the remains of a corroded piece of metal with threads.”

The other half of the artifact revealed a sheath of metal, presumably copper, covering the porcelain cylinder.

Ever since the artifact was first discovered, numerous individuals have speculated about its mysterious origin and possible use.

Virginia Maxey speculated that “one possibility is that it is barely 100 years old – something that lay in a mud bed, then got baked and hardened by the sun in a matter of a few years.” However it was Maxey who supplied the claim that the artifact could be at least 500,000 years old.

“Or else it is an instrument as old as legendary Mu or Atlantis. Perhaps it is a communications device or some sort of directional finder or some instrument made to utilize power principles we know nothing about.”

INFO Journal editor Paul J. Willis speculated that the artifact was some sort of spark plug. His brother found the suggestion extraordinary.

“I was thunderstruck,” he wrote, “for suddenly all the parts seemed to fit. The object sliced in two shows a hexagonal part, a porcelain or ceramic insulator with a central metallic shaft – the basic components of any spark plug.”

However, the two could not reconcile the upper end featuring a “spring”, “helix”, or “metal threads” with any contemporary spark plug.

The mystery continues.

UFO mania: Development on the ‘Lost City of Giants’ in Ecuador

In 2012, a team of explorers and researchers discovered what they believed to be an ancient pyramid complex in a remote area of the Ecuador Amazonian jungle, one not known to the general public internationally or even within the country. Bruce Fenton, author and researcher, believes the complex may be the ‘Lost City of the Giants’, so named for the large giant-sized tools that were found in the vicinity, as well as the local legends that speak of a race of giant humans who once inhabited the region.

At the discovered site there is one extremely large pyramidal type structure of approximately 80 metres square base and 80 metres height, with steeply inclined walls. This structure is made up of hundreds of large stone blocks, weighing approximately 2 tonnes in weight. The large hill has a flat area at the top where many artifacts have been found. “It looks like a paved wall, an ancient street or plaza with a 60 degrees angle, perhaps the roof of a larger structure. Many of the stones were perfectly aligned, have sharp edges and seemed to have been sculpted by human hands,” said Mr Duverneuil, who undertook an expedition to the site in April and May, 2013.

Between the blocks there is a hard bonding substance like cement or concrete, or some kind of vitrified material. Scattered around the area are a great many artifacts of stone and pottery. Many of these objects appear to be stone tools, some of which are extremely large and heavy and would have proven difficult for any normal sized human being to use in any practical fashion.

The size of the tools has led Fenton to suspect that this is one of the legendary lost cities of the giants, well known in local Ecuadorian legends about the Amazonian area. Such places generate great fear among the members of the indigenous inhabitants of Ecuador as they are believed to be protected either by spirit guardians or by beings not of this world. Local legends pertain to giant humans who lived in cities that have become forgotten in the pages of history. In fact bones of giant people have been found in caves in the area – as well as in other parts of Ecuador.

The government of Ecuador was informed of the discovery and later in 2013, an expedition was arranged through the Ministry of Culture, and included Ministry Police, archaeologists and researchers. Sadly, but perhaps unsurprisingly, the government team concluded that the site was a natural formation and not man-made, ruling out any government funded excavations, or preservation of the site.

Fenton and colleagues dispute their conclusion that the site is a natural formation, pointing out the rectangular blocks, bonding material between the stones, the precision of the stone work, and the discovery of the stone tools, as well as a number of large stones with circular holes cut right through the middle.

“There can be no doubt now that what we have here is the remnants of human habitation from a very ancient era,” wrote Fenton on his websiteEarth4all. “What we need to do now is have samples tested, dated, and examined by relevant experts.” Fenton and colleagues also hope to set up a museum in the nearest local village where artifacts can be safely kept and shown to researchers and the public. To this aim, they are seeking help in raising funds for the museum and for further research and exploration.

Road Workers Found This Mysterious Box Underground. They Decided To Look Inside And…(Photos)

Road workers in the eastern China were given the task of widening a road in the city of Taizhou, in the Jiangsu Province. They were digging about 6 feet below the surface when they came across something completely by chance that no one was expecting to find. They hit something solid while digging and after a bit of research they realized that they had actually hit buried tomb. It was time to call in professional archeologists to unearth and reveal this mystery. They found that the chamber was over 700 years old. 

Here is the tomb after it was unearthed. A team worked together to open the box without disturbing the contents.

Encased in the stone tomb was a wooden box.

After opening the box they found that the contents were rare silks and linens lying in some sort of brown liquid.

They discovered a mummy of a woman under the layers of fabric.

They were amazed to see the body and contents in near perfect shape for being underground for over 700 years.

They think the mummy was a high ranking member of the Ming Dynasty.

She was adorned with beautiful jewelry from the time period.

The team carefully moved the woman out of her tomb for the first time.

She was wrapped in many rare layers of fabric that would have been common for a high ranking member of the Ming Dynasty.

Whatever she was preserved in was remarkable. She even had her eyebrows still attached.

This close up of her shoes shows how well preserved her corpse was.

This is a rare find and with advancements in archeology today she will stay preserved in a museum.

What an incredible find to just stumble upon. This find will answer many questions about the Ming Dynasty and the forbidden city in China. After excavating the site, archeologists found 2 other coffins that they are researching now. Im sure we will see more on this story as time passes and data is analyzed. Only time will unearth the beautiful secrets from the past.

35 years after Jonestown massacre victims’ remains found at funeral home

Thirty-five years ago, funeral directors in Delaware struggled to quickly bury and cremate the remains of more than 900 people who died in a suicide-murder in Jonestown, Guyana, many of them Peoples Temple followers who drank cyanide-laced punch.

Some bodies that arrived back in the U.S. at Dover Air Force Base in 1978 were claimed by families. Some were cremated. Others were buried in a mass grave in California.

On Thursday, officials revealed that not all had been brought to a final resting place. The cremated remains of nine Jonestown victims were discovered in a decrepit, now-shuttered funeral home in Dover, officials said. The discovery reopened wounds.

“All the survivors in touch with me are traumatized because that door had been closed,” said Jonestown survivor Laura Johnston Kohl, now a retired teacher from San Diego.

“Whatever journey the ashes took in the U.S. is secondary. The first issue is how do we settle it to make sure the ashes are where they belong … at Evergreen where everybody is,” she said, referring to the cemetery that is the site of the mass grave.

Hundreds of children and a U.S. congressman died at Jonestown, and 911 decomposing bodies were brought to Dover Air Force Base, home to the U.S. military’s largest mortuary. The base has handled mass casualties of both military personnel and civilians from wars, the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon and the NASA Challenger and Columbia space shuttle missions.

As the bodies were identified, the military asked about a half-dozen local funeral homes to help the families make arrangements.

Last week, though, the ashes of nine victims were found neatly packaged and clearly marked, with the names of the deceased and place of their death included on accompanying death certificates, the Delaware Division of Forensic Science said Thursday. No names were released publicly because relatives hadn’t been notified.

“It’s just so sad, for me as a survivor,” said Yulanda Williams, 58, now a sergeant with the San Francisco Police Department. Williams spent a decade with the Peoples Temple, including three months in Jonestown, named after the group’s founder, Jim Jones. She left with her 8-month-old daughter before the massacre.

“You consistently wind up finding yourself trying to heal but having your wounds opened up again when new information is given,” she said.

“We would do what they wanted, either cremation or send the bodies back home. Most of them were sent back home,” said funeral director William Torbert Sr., 79.

Funeral directors say it is not uncommon for family members to never retrieve cremated remains.

The Jonestown remains were found at the former Minus Funeral Home after the property’s current owner, a bank, called, according to Dover police and public records. They also found 24 other containers of marked, identified remains, and five containers of remains they could not immediately identify, said Kimberly Chandler, spokeswoman for the Delaware Division of Forensic Science.

The dilapidated former funeral home in Dover had a padlock on the double front doors. The building showed few signs of its former use, although a floral design was etched in glass panes at the entrance. Dead vines hung from the building’s white plaster walls, and cracked windows were repaired with blue tape.

Jones ran the Peoples Temple in San Francisco in the early 1970s. He founded a free health clinic and a drug rehabilitation program, emerging as a political force. But allegations of wrongdoing mounted, and Jones moved the settlement to Guyana, the only English-speaking country in South America. Hundreds of followers moved.

On Nov. 18, 1978, on a remote jungle airstrip, gunmen from the group ambushed and killed U.S. Rep. Leo Ryan of California, three newsmen and a defector from the group. All were visiting Jonestown on a fact-finding mission to investigate reports of abuses of members.

Jones then orchestrated a ritual of mass murder and suicide at the group’s nearby agricultural commune, ordering followers to drink cyanide-laced grape punch. Most complied, although survivors described some people being shot, injected with poison, or forced to drink the deadly beverage when they tried to resist.

Many of the bodies were decomposed and could not be identified. Several cemeteries refused to take them until the Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland, California, stepped forward in 1979 and accepted 409 bodies.

Sounds From the Canal

The past couple of weeks I’ve had a reverse sort of insomnia. Instead of not being able to go to sleep, I wake early. It’s not that bad yet, although I’m starting to fall asleep a few hours before I should if I want to get back on track. I’ve gone from waking up at 5:00 am to waking up around 3:30 am. My morning routine consists of making coffee, opening the blinds, sliding the glass doors to the lanai open, and letting my dog out. For those that may not know what a lanai is, it’s an outdoor screened porch or extra living area usually housing a pool. I also live on a canal which is behind the pool area. There’s a deck down there, too. Most people use them for their boats but I don’t have one yet. I use mine for fishing and I’ve got a fire pit and some chairs around it. Too brutally hot right now for fishing or a fire pit, I probably won’t use it again till November.

My morning routine also includes checking my email, leads on my phone and reading a few stories in /r/nosleep. I’ve had some scares in the morning, spooked myself actually, especially after reading something with the words containing, “Don’t look behind you”. Yeah, haha…

The past few mornings I’ve been hearing some strange sounds coming from the canal. I know they are strange because I haven’t heard these kind of noises before. Ever. Not even once in the three years and insomniac hours that I’ve lived here.

The first time it happened I’m drinking my morning coffee and checking my email before I head here to get my daily dose. Out of the blackness came a huge splash in the canal. A few seconds later I hear a muffled cry (?) and then another huge splash. As my brain is trying to process this in a few scary seconds, I reason with myself that it must have been a gator. A big ass gator. Nothing else could be responsible for that size of a splash in the canal. However, this reasoning just doesn’t sit right with me because I heard that cry. What the hell was that? I puzzled over this all day at work. It was in the back of my mind even when I sold that old Tahoe to the young couple with the baby. Oh, yeah, I’m a car salesman, let it rip on me. I can’t say they aren’t all sleezy anyway. After awhile I came to the conclusion that the cry I heard must have come from a coon or a possum. Somehow it must have leaned over one of the docks and met its demise in the jowls of an alligator.

There’s only one downside to this explanation though. I haven’t seen any gators. I saw a pretty big one when I first moved here, hell she must have been 7 or 8 feet long, but the authorities moved her because she got so big. There was a baby around a little while after that, I called her Lucy, but I think she got too big because I haven’t seen her in a couple of years. Anyhow, now that I’ve come up with this theory I have to hold onto it. I’ve heard the same thing repeated every morning since. Sometimes the cries are louder, sometimes more muffled, sometimes it happens more than once. I have to believe its a gator. Despite the fact as soon as it’s daylight I go check the canal and find nothing. Despite the fact my neighbors haven’t seen a gator. I have to believe it’s a gator. It’s getting closer. – Reddit.com

Study Explores Whether the Dead Can Communicate Through Electronics

Dr. Imants Barušs at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, has conducted two studies attempting to verify reports that deceased persons have communicated to the living through electronic devices.

In the first study, he was able to reproduce this phenomenon in a weak sense, he said, but not a strong one. This study was published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration in 2001 and detailed in the Epoch Times article “Fascinating Study of Purported ‘Phone Calls From the Dead’ Phenomena: Some Confirmation.” He and his team recorded the static between radio stations under controlled circumstances and while talking to any spirits that may be around; they heard what could be construed as some words or phrases in the recordings. His results hinted that the so-called “electronic voice phenomenon” (EVP) may exist, but the results were not sufficiently anomalous to be considered a replication in a strong sense.

His second study, published in 2007, attempted to address some weaknesses of the first. Instead of using the static between stations, which was more open to interpretation by the listener, he used computer programs that would randomly generate letters and whole words to see if anomalous phrases would appear.
If the researchers saw a pattern or bias that deviated too far from what could be expected to appear by chance, it could indicate that a spirit was influencing the machine to convey a message. Read more at The Epoch Times

Mushroom UFO caught on camera over Australian mountain

An Australian witness at Port Macquarie captured a dark gray, metallic-looking UFO while shooting photos looking west over nearby mountains, according to testimony in Case 58741 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

“When I was checking my footage later in the day I saw what appeared to be a craft of moderate size zooming in and out of the clouds.”

The object was described as a dark gray metallic with a highly reflective surface. (Credit: MUFON)

The witness described the object photographed about 1:30 p.m. on July 29, 2012.

“It was a flat mushroom-shaped craft with a dark gray metallic look with highly reflective surfaces.”

The witness provided three images with the MUFON report: Image 1, Image 2, and Image 3.

Port Macquarie  is a town in the local government area of Port Macquarie-Hastings located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia, about 242 miles north of Sydney, population 41,491.

Imprints From The Ancients, Graham Hancock, Sphinx, Unsolved Mysteries  (Video)

(N.Morgan) In this riveting interview with Graham Hancock, Hancock explains his quest for unraveling the riddle of the Sphinx along with the mystery behind the ancient enigmatic pyramid texts and other archaic Egyptian writings. Graham Hancock has authored many books on the subjects of ancient theories, lost civilizations and forbidden archaeology reveals the millennial code which is embodied in many ancient structures.

One of the mysteries Graham covers is one I find most fascinating, the mysterious sphinx. Facing the rising sun, the Great Sphinx is located on the Giza plateau, about 10km west of Cairo, on the west bank of the Nile River. Later Egyptian rulers worshiped it as an aspect of the sun god, calling it Hor-Em-Akhet (“Horus of the Horizon”). The Sphinx sits in part of the necropolis of ancient Memphis, the seat of power for the pharaohs, a short distance from three large pyramids – the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaura (Mycerinus).

The monument is the largest surviving sculpture from the ancient world, measuring 73.5m in length and in parts 20m in height. Part of the uraeus (sacred cobra which protected from evil forces), the nose and the ritual beard are missing; the beard is now displayed in the British Museum. The extensions at the side of the head are part of the royal head cloth. Although the head of the Sphinx has been badly affected by thousands of years of erosion, traces of the original paint can still be seen near one ear.

It is thought that originally the Sphinx’s face was painted dark red. A small temple between its paws contained dozens of inscribed stelae placed by the Pharaohs in honor of the Sun god.

Has UFO & Alien Disclosure Already Happened?

A lot of UFO researchers talk about disclosure, but who do we want to make this disclosure, and what are we looking for them to disclose? There are those that believe disclosure has already happened, and depending on your answers to these two questions, you may think so too.

The most common idea people have of disclosure is the President making a special announcement that they have discovered some UFOs are flown by extraterrestrials. This is the sort of disclosure that the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure is seeking this weekend in Washington D.C. at the National Press Club. There will be a panel of former congress members reviewing five days of testimony from witnesses and UFO researchers. The idea is to inspire real congressional hearings that will prompt the President to announce that they knew it all the time.

This sort of disclosure sounds simple. However, a lot of these people feel the government is currently lying about the subject. How would we know what we were being told is now the truth? If proponents of this type of disclosure already believe the government cannot be trusted, why would they trust any announcement?

That is a point that is often made by retired Army Colonel, Dr. John Alexander. He is convinced the UFO phenomena is real and is likely of an extraterrestrial nature. However, he feels government disclosure has already happened. The FBI and the Air Force are two examples of government agencies that currently have thousands of files available on their investigations into UFOs. Alexander says they have released all of their research, but they haven’t discovered much and are as baffled as the rest of us.

Much ado has been made of an unofficial group of friends inside intelligence circles Alexander helped to organize that looked into government UFO secrecy. He thought maybe they would find a group of secret keepers. What he found is that the topic is a bit of a hot potato. No one wants to deal with it, because it is too weird and they fear ridicule. He thinks the real lack of serious investigation by the government is due more to incompetence than anything else. However, he does feel official investigation is needed and advocates for organized research into the topic.

Another UFO investigator who often says disclosure has been accomplished is Dr. Steven Greer. Greer has been in the news a lot these past few weeks for his new documentary, Sirius. He was the first to bring credible witnesses to the National Press Club in Washington D.C. to address the media in 2001. It was an impressive group that included retired military officers, an FAA official, and credentialed people in the private sector. They testified to their knowledge or involvement with UFO research or sightings. To many, the credentials of these people were sufficient enough to be a sort of disclosure. In fact, this event prompted me to not only sit up and pay attention, but to get involved with reporting and researching the topic.

Others feel that the secrets are locked up so tight that getting answers is a much more difficult and complicated task. Richard Dolan, a UFO historian, thinks that the answers are probably locked up in deep black projects. Even the President may not have the need to know, giving him plausible deniability, and making it true that the White House doesn’t know anything about UFOs because they are not in the loop. If we don’t know where the secrets are, how do we, or the President or even congress get to them?

De groeiende vraag naar ruimtetoerisme en de groeiende industrie van ruimtevliegtuigen, zet de Britse regering ertoe aan om te beginnen aan hun eigen ruimtehaven. Binnen 15 jaar zouden de eerste ruimtereizen vanuit Groot-Brittannië van start kunnen gaan.

Het Verenigd Koninkrijk wil 62 miljoen euro vrijmaken voor de ruimtehaven en meent dat ruimtetoerisme elk jaar 48 miljoen euro kan opbrengen. Tegen 2030 zal de industrie van ruimtevliegtuigen ongeveer 25 miljard euro waard zijn.

Vanaf 2016 kan de ruimtehaven al operationeel zijn en de eerste vlucht rond de aarde kan al in 2018 realiteit zijn. Een ruimtevliegtuig zal tegen 2030 operationeel worden, wat ruimtetoerisme vanuit Groot-Brittannië dus mogelijk zal maken.

Geschikte plek
De U.K. Space Agency is nog op zoek naar een geschikte plek voor een ruimtehaven. Die selectie zal eind 2016 worden gemaakt. Momenteel is er sprake van acht sites in het Verenigd Koninkrijk, zes daarvan liggen in Schotland, eentje in Wales en een in Engeland.

Virgin Galactic van Richard Branson, een mogelijke gebruiker van de toekomstige ruimtehaven, verkiest een plek in Schotland, Lossiemouth. Ook uit een rapport uit 2009 blijkt Lossiemouth de meest geschikte plaats.

Referendum
In september wordt in Schotland een referendum gehouden over de mogelijke onafhankelijkheid van Schotland. Dat referendum kan roet in het eten gooien, waardoor enkele toplocaties van de lijst zouden moeten geschrapt worden. Een recente peiling wijst echter uit dat slechts 34 procent van de Schotten een onafhankelijk Schotland willen.

Een markonderzoek toont aan dat in het eerste jaar 120 toeristen zich in de ruimte zullen wagen, drie jaar later zijn dat er al 150. Tegen het tiende jaar zal dat aantal opgelopen zijn tot 400. De jaarlijkse inkomsten voor het ruimtetoerisme zullen tegen dan opgelopen zijn tot 48 miljoen euro.

Het is goed mogelijk dat er oude fossielen afkomstig van de aarde op het maanoppervlak liggen te wachten op hun ontdekking. Dat beweren alvast wetenschappers van de Britse University of Kent.

Bliksemstorm bekeken vanuit ruimte lijkt aanval van aliens - HLN.be

video Onweer is een natuurfenomeneen dat op Aarde al vrij veel indruk maakt. Vanuit de ruimte bekeken lijkt het wel een scène uit 'Independence Day', een Amerikaanse sciencefictionfilm waarin buitenaardse vliegende schotels onze planeet aanvallen. Astronaut Reid Wiseman heeft de verbluffende beelden gedraaid en ze maken niet alleen hem sprakeloos.

Vanuit het Internationaal ruimtestation zit de Amerikaan uiteraard op de eerste rij om al dat moois gade te slaan en te documenteren. Hij kon al meermaals een bliksemstorm filmen. Gisteren deelde hij een fantastische post op Vine, een sociale media-app voor korte videootjes. De beelden laten zien hoe de bliksem Italië teisterde (zie Vine hierboven).

In juni deelde de astronaut al beelden van een bliksemstorm boven de Texaanse stad Houston (bekijk hieronder) en boven Maleisië. Indrukwekkend!
