A tourist who was in a town in southern China was stunned after seeing a fish with a human face . The video, which has become a trend in social networks, shows a face with mouth, nose and eyes, very similar to a person's face. The woman who recorded the video was so amazed that she burst into tears. "The fish has become a fairy, it has a human face," said the woman who wanted to remain anonymous. The strange animal was discovered this week by a visitor in the town of Miao, a tourist destination near the city of Kunming. The images became viral in China after they were published on the popular Weibo social network, with numerous users offering all kinds of opinions and theories about the strange creature. Some said it was a mutant fish escaped from a laboratory , while the most skeptical said there was nothing sinister or supernatural in the unique condition of the fish, since the spooky face was simply the result of matching body markings. 

But the truth about this fish is that alien have been doing experiments on all forms of life on earth for millions of years, often causing evolution to take days for what normally would take millions of years. Sure aliens have abducted humans to do experiments and even cut up cows and sheep on farms, but the experiments have a more sinister side. As you see this fish with a human face is evidence of that. When it pokes its head out of the water, its eyes, nostrils and mouth all come into focus. This is an alien experiment.

But, the Twitter feed of one Russian fisherman could make you think twice before ever dipping your toes at the beach again.

Murmansk-based Roman Fedortsov has revealed a trove of terrifying catches, from eight-legged arthropods to fish with dagger-like teeth.

Chimaera are known for their winged fins and long, whip-like tails – and an image captured by Fedortsov reveals their haunting green eyes.

Like sharks and rays, chimaeras have a skeleton made of cartilage. 

While he may be better versed in deep sea creatures than most people, some catches had even Fedortsov stumped.

On Twitter, many have chimed in with their thoughts, with some arguing that the specimen in question is a stoplight loosejaw, a deep-sea dragonfish from the genus Malacosteus.

And, not all of the catches are fish.

One picture reveals a massive orange ‘sea spider’ – a marine arthropod with long, spindly legs that’s roughly the size of a human hand.

Creatures of a similar appearance were recently discovered in the Arctic and Southern Oceans, where they’ve been observed at a staggering leg-span of nearly 25 centimetres.

Another bizarre fish, with bulging red eyes and drooping red lips, was identified as a type of grenadier. These are also known as rattails, and can be found deep below the surface from the Arctic to the Antarctic

While deep-sea creatures tend to have an alien-like appearance to begin with, it’s also known that changes in pressure can affect the appearance of some when they’re brought to the surface.

Thousands of feet below the sea, they are subjected to extremely high pressures.

While some are able to withstand dramatic vertical migrations, the lower pressures of the world above are known to cause metabolic problems for others, and can even alter their shape.

This effect can be seen most famously in the case of the blobfish – a creature voted the world’s ‘ugliest animal.’

Scientists have unearthed 12 million-year-old fossils in a mountainous region called Allgäu in Bavaria, Germany that provide the “missing link” between humans and our ape-like ancestors.

The ape-man had arms that would allow it to hang from trees, but had legs like modern humans, allowing it to swing from tree branches as well as walk upright on the ground. It even had an opposable big toe which means that it would have walked on the sole of its feet. Additionally, it had mobile wrists and hands with curved fingers. This rare discovery provides scientists with a picture of what the ape-man ancestor looked like millions of years ago and has been given the name Danuvius guggenmosi after a Celtic river god. The Danuvius guggenmosi was approximately three and a half feet tall and weighed as much as five stone (almost 32 kilograms or 70 pounds).

Madelaine Boehme, who is from the University of Tübingen in Germany as well as an author of a paper describing the discovery, said, “It is a missing link. It was astonishing for us to realize how similar certain bones are to humans, as opposed to great apes,” adding, “Danuvius is like an ape and a human – in one.” (Their findings were published in the journal Nature and can be read in full here.)

The teeth from the Danuvius revealed that it belonged to a group of extinct apes called dryopithecins that were around during the middle to late Miocene period approximately 16-5 million years ago. It would have had a broad chest, long spine, and extended hips and knees, just like humans and any other animal that walks on two feet.

In addition to the teeth, parts of a skull, jaw, spine, and rib cage were also discovered as well as a finger, arm, leg, and feet bones. The remains came from at least four individuals (a male, two females, and a juvenile). In fact, there were so many remains found from the adult male that the researchers were able to put together quite a bit of detail about his body proportions as well as his limbs.

“It was similar in size to modern-day bonobos. Thanks to completely preserved limb bones, vertebra, finger and toe bones, we were able to reconstruct the way Danuvius moved about in its environment,” Boehme explained.

She went on to say, “Our last common ancestor with great apes did not look like a chimp, or any living great ape – he may have looked like Danuvius,” adding, “Danuvius shows us the conditions from where both great apes and humans diverged. And this evolutionary process happened in Europe.”

Tracy Kivell, who is an anthropologist at the University of Kent, weighed in on the discovery by stating, “That would get us closer to answering why and how our human ancestors became less dependent on life in the trees and fully embraced two-footed terrestrial locomotion.”

A visitor to a village in southern China has been left stunned after spotting a fish that appears to have a human face. 

Trending footage shows the carp sporting markings that resemble a man's mouth, nose and eyes on its head.

A woman who was filming the video was so awestruck by the sight she gushed: 'The fish has turned into a fairy.'

The extraordinary animal was discovered yesterday by a visitor in the Miao Village, a tourist destination in the city of Kunming, according to popular blogger Feidian Videos. 

Web users in the country have been amazed by the 15-second clip since it emerged today on Weibo, China's equivalent to Twitter. 

One person wrote: 'This is scary.'

Another queried: 'Who dares to eat it?'

Carp have long been known to carry markings which can look like a human face, but actually seeing one is rare. 

Sightings of 'human-faced carp' have been reported in Taiwan and the UK.

In 2010, a 44-year-old former butcher in Britain discovered that a fish he had bought five months earlier (pictured) started to develop facial features similar to those of a human

In 2010, a 44-year-old British man found out that a carp he had bought five months earlier started to develop facial features like those of a human.

'It was astonishing. I could easily make out from the markings two eyes, a nose and a mouth. I thought I was suffering from sunstroke,' said the fish's owner Brendan O'Sullivan of Dagenham, Essex.

Mr O'Sullivan's fish was said to be worth an estimated £40,000.

In 2011, residents in north-eastern Taiwan's Yilan County were surprised to find a black-and-white carp with seemingly human features in a pond run by the local government.

How did sailors imagine seeing mermaids? Ghostly image from NOAA offers explanation

A deep sea photo taken off the East Coast by NOAA researchers is providing ample proof of why it was easy for mariners of yore to confuse sea creatures for mermaids.

The image, posted last week on Facebook, shows a “lurking” human-like shape that appears to have arms, legs and a Medusa-like head of hair. It was photographed “creeping” above a remotely operated deep sea vehicle that was exploring a steep slope or escarpment earlier this summer.

NOAA identified the transparent shape as a deep-sea squid and reported it was spotted 2,838 feet down in an area known as the Central Blake Plateau Scarp, off northeast Florida.

“Ever get the feeling you’re being watched?” asked the post.

The National Museum of Natural History reports humans long mistook squids for other mythical creatures, often confusing “a giant squid carcass with a merman or mermaid.”

“Now we know otherwise, but it took a long time for scientific evidence to replace the myths,” the museum says.

Mermaids and mermen are legendary half human, half-fish creatures that predate Greek mythology, according to LiveScience.com.

“In folklore, mermaids were often associated with misfortune and death, luring errant sailors off course and even onto rocky shoals,” the museum site reports.

NOAA got the surreal photo by using a sneaky two-camera approach to conduct its research. While a remote camera moved across the sea floor, a wider angle camera was attached to the bottom of its ship, spying on creatures that they believed were secretly observing the remote camera from above.

The research was done as part of the Deep Search 2019 mission, to explore deep water off the Atlantic coast, including canyons and escarpments. NOAA did not reveal the depth the photo was taken.

Commenters on NOAA’s post of the photo marveled that the creature’s appearance was deceptive and likened it instead to a to “a killer gigantic spider” or a large scorpion.

Just on Halloween 2019 Paulo Henrique Pinheiro captured an amazing sky phenomenon over Soldedade in Brazil which he posted on his Facebook page.

Many people witnessed the moment a huge red bird formed in the sky during sunset on which many wondered whether it was a sign of God or not.

But it's not just the strange phenomenon above Brazil, a few days ago, on October 31, 2019 a bizarre pink anomaly appeared in the sky over Tunapuna near Trinidad, see image above.

  

Satellite images prove that this pink anomaly was not a lenticular cloud, but a phenomenon which is not easy to explain.

We noticed this video clip – originally published at our site in 2013 – was getting a lot of notice today. It deserves it! It’s amazing.

This video clip (from a longer documentary, Ants! Natures Secret Power) shows the excavation of a huge ant city, from a former colony of grass-cutter ants. Over the course of three days, scientists pumped 10 tons of cement into the abandoned ant hill. After weeks of digging, the scientists revealed the colony’s intricate and impressive structure. It’s amazing!

By the way, note the word abandoned. No ant genocide here, although a marvelous underground structure was altered in the name of science.

Scientists recently studied the formation of the huge crystals inside the giant geode of Pulpí, located deep in a Spanish mine. They found that temperature fluctuations – maybe from climate or maybe from geothermal systems – amplified a natural process that grew the crystals, ripening them over thousands of years and making them literally crystal clear.

A researcher stands inside the Pulpí geode, one of the largest documented geodes in the world, located at a depth of about 150 feet (50 meters) in a former silver mine in southeast Spain.

Meet one of the largest documented geodes in the world – the Pulpí geode – discovered in 1999. It’s located deep within a mine in Spain, which is open to being viewed by tourists. The geode is a hollow, egg-shaped object, just like those you find in rock shops. But it’s 36 feet (11 meters) wide, like a room with crystal-paneled walls. Its individual crystals are up to two meters in size, and they’re so transparent they’re said to look like ice crystals. Scientists are continuing to study the Pulpí geode. A study published October 15, 2019, in the peer-reviewed journal Geology proposed that a slow and steady process involving temperature fluctuations grew the giant gypsum crystals inside it. Juan Manuel García Ruiz is a professor at the Universidad de Granada in Spain and a study coauthor.

He said at Phys.org:

To reveal their formation has been a very tough task because unlike in the case of the giant crystals of Naica in Mexico, where the hydrothermal system is still active, the large geode of Pulpí is a fossilized environment.

The scientists performed a study of the geology and geochemistry of the abandoned mine where the geode was found:

… including a detailed mapping of the underground mining works, which has been used to allow the tourist visits in the mine.

They found that the large crystals had trapped a few fluid inclusions, which gave the scientists information about conditions at the time the crystals formed. The team measured the sulfur and oxygen isotope ratios of those inclusions and found that the gypsum likely stabilized at a temperature of about 20 degrees Celsius (68 degrees Fahrenheit).

That was a clue to the crystals’ history. Most areas that have grown giant gypsum crystals are attached to inactive hydrothermal systems. However, the finding that the crystals stabilized at 20 degrees C suggested they might have formed closer to Earth’s surface, where climate fluctuations might also have played a role.

Also, 20 degrees C is lower than the maximum soluble temperature for gypsum of 45 degrees C. And – according to these scientists – that fact suggested the crystals had grown over a long period of time from a slow, steady drip of a concentrated calcium sulfate solution. An article in EOS explained:

With a relatively stable temperature, many smaller gypsum crystals dissolved to form fewer, larger ones in a process called Ostwald ripening.

García Ruiz said:

This is somewhat like the temperature cycles in crystal quality control in industrial processes.

The researchers found that the rock that encompasses the geode is made of layered carbonate from the Triassic period (201–251 million years ago). The geode, however, is only between 60 thousand and 2 million years old. Lines in the Pulpí geode’s clear gypsum crystals track growth periods.

Wikileaks Document Exposes a “Secret US Base on the Moon”

The idea that something strange may be happening on the Moon is not far fetched at all. In fact, given all of the information that’s now available within the public domain on the subject, it’s hard to see how it’s not a fact. We’ll get to some of that information later in this article; but first, let’s draw our attention to a strange Wikileaks document titled, “Report That UR Destroyed Secret Moon Base.”

Unfortunately, the document is not an electronic document, therefore access to its full contents is not available online. For anybody truly interested in reading the entire thing, a Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA) may be in order.

Without speculating here, we can conclude that this is what it says it is, a report regarding possible space wars that are taking place in the classified world. The document title alone not only exposes the reality of these alleged wars, but the possibility of a “Secret Moon Base” belonging to the United States that apparently was in operation until it was destroyed by “UR.” (Soviet Union)

So, what other information exists, besides this document, showing that something strange is and has been happening on the Moon? There’s a lot of information, so it’s hard to know where to begin.

First of all, the idea of bases on the Moon have been an open discussion within the government for a long time, although the information isn’t easy to find, but it’s definitely out there. A document from the government’s own publishing office is a great example. It clearly shows one of the goals of the United States government is to build a base on the Moon, and this is as far back as 1966. (source)

A portion of the document reads, with reference to presidents Kennedy and Johnson in a statement by HON. George P. Miller:

I also believe that we can and will achieve the goal set by Presidents Kennedy and Johnson: a manned landing on the moon before 1970. My own confidence in our rapidly advancing science and technology is such that I can visualize many more dramatic achievements ahead, although I will fix no timetable for them. 1. The exploration of the lunar surface, and possibly the establishment of one or more permanent bases there.

Furthermore, decades old documents have been declassified discussing this topic, showing just how serious and far possible advancements with these intentions have gone.

Take a look at the screen shot below, taken from the CIA electronic reading room in the form of a memorandum that was addressed to the CIA director regarding “Military Thought (Top Secret)” by Lieutenant General Korenevskiy.

Remember, our nonviolent ETI from the contiguous universe are helping us bring zero point energy to Earth. They will not tolerate any forms of military violence on Earth or in space. The following information in italics was shared with me by my colleague Carol Rosin, who worked closely for several years with Wernher von Braun before his death. Carol and I have worked on the Treaty on the Prevention of the Placement of Weapons in Outer Space, attached for your convenience.

A declassified report by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center from June 1959 shows just how seriously they considered a plan called Project A119. In general, they wanted to investigate the capability of weapons in space as well as gain further insight into the space environment and the detonation of nuclear devices within it.

Interesting to say the least, but it’s important to recognize the intentions behind the letter, and that is the recognition that humans have brought and will continue to bring their destructive ways into space by weaponizing it or attempting to weaponize it.

With all of this documentation, it’s also interesting to look into witness testimonies from credible sources.

In the 1950s, Colonel Ross Dedrickson was responsible for maintaining the inventory of the nuclear weapon stockpile for the AEC, and for accompanying security teams testing the security of the weapons, among many other duties. When it comes to weaponizing space, which is clearly outlined within multiple documents linked above, this is what he had to say:

“I also learned about incidents involving nuclear weapons, and among these incidents were a couple of nuclear weapons sent into space that were destroyed by the extraterrestrials… At the very end of the 70s and the early 80s, we attempted to put a nuclear weapon on the Moon and explode it for scientific measurements and other things, which was not acceptable to the extraterrestrials. They destroyed the weapon before it got to the Moon.” (source)

Dedrickson is one of hundreds of whistleblowers with verified, credible and impressive backgrounds to speak up about an extraterrestrial presence. In that same interview, he went on to state that:

A spacecraft went to the rescue of Apollo 13, and they accompanied Apollo 13 on their voyage around the Moon back to Earth. And on two occasions they thought they might have to transfer the crew to their spacecraft, but they saw them safely back to Earth.

This may explain why several astronauts have also been quite outspoken about an extraterrestrial presence, like Edgar Mitchell, Brian O’Leary, Story Musgrave, Gordon Cooper and many others.

Another document from 1965 regarding the CIA keeping tabs on Soviet space plans reads as follows:

Keep in mind, this was more than 50 years ago.

Below is an interesting quote from Carl Sagan:

It is not out of the question that artifacts of these visits still exist, or even that some kind of base is maintained (possibly automatically) within the solar system to provide continuity for successive expeditions. Because of weathering and the possibility of detection and interference by the inhabitants of the Earth, it would be preferable not to erect such a base on the Earth’s surface. The Moon seems one reasonable alternative. Forthcoming high resolution photographic reconnaissance of the Moon from space vehicles – particularly of the back side – might bear these possibilities in mind. (source)

George Leonard’s 1976 book, Somebody Else is on the Moon, and Fred Steckling’s 1981 book, We Discovered Alien Bases on The Moon, also come to mind when discussing this subject.

Members of the Society For Planetary SETI Research (SPSR) recently published a paper in the Journal of Space Exploration about certain features on the far side of the Moon that appear in the crater Paracelsus C. Titled “Image Analysis of Unusual Structures on the Far Side of the Moon in the Crater Paracelsus C,” it argues that these features might be artificial in origin.

The study makes a great point when it comes to the extraterrestrial hypothesis:

A decidedly conservative mainstream scientific establishment often rejects anomalies based on subject matter alone, i.e., there cannot be alien artifacts on the moon because there are no alien artifacts on the moon (or other planets). Such a view is an example of circular reasoning, based on the belief that extraterrestrials do not exist, or if they do exist that they could not have traveled to our solar system.

When it comes to the Moon, man-made bases may not be the only ones there.

As far as our own bases are concerned, Karl Wolfe, who was a precision electronics photograph technician at Langley Air Force Base, became well-known when he provided his testimony at National Press Club in Washington, D.C. as part of Dr. Steven Greer’s disclosure project.(source)

Wolfe’s testimony revealed that he was taken into a dark room where images from NASA’s Lunar Orbiter were being developed and stitched together into composite images called “mosaics.”

“They were doing 35 mm strips of film at the time which were then assembled into 18 ½ x 11 mosaics. Those strips were from successive passes around the Moon and they would build up a photograph ,” Wolfe said.(source)

“We walked over to one side of the lab and he said, ‘By the way, we’ve discovered a base on the backside of the moon.’”

Dr. John Brandenburg, the Deputy Manager of the Clementine Mission to the Moon, which was part of a joint space project between the Ballistic Missile Defence Organization (BMDO) and NASA, has also made some fascinating revelations. The mission discovered water at the Moon’s poles in 1994 (Source: page 16 of 18)(source)(source). But, according to Dr. Brandenburg, the Clementine Mission had an ulterior agenda:

“The Clementine Mission was a photo reconnaissance mission basically to check out if someone was building bases on the Moon that we didn’t know about. Were they expanding them?… Of all the pictures I’ve seen from the Moon that show possible structures, the most impressive is a picture of a miles-wide recto-linear structure. This looked unmistakably artificial, and it shouldn’t be there. As somebody in the space defence community, I look on any such structure on the Moon with great concern because it isn’t ours, there’s no way we could have built such a thing. We are talking about Special Access Programs (SAP). We have unacknowledged and waived SAPs. These programs do not exist publicly, but they do indeed exist. I am mentioning this stuff because, whatever is happening with regards to the Moon, you can bet that it’s being funded by trillions of dollars from within these deep black budget programs. These are our tax dollars hard at work.

We don’t really hear about black budget programs, or about people who have actually looked into them.  However, the topic was discussed in 2010 by Washington Post journalists Dana Priest and William Arkin. Their investigation lasted approximately two years and concluded that America’s classified world has:

The Takeaway

Our world is not how it’s been presented. Many subjects once and that still are deemed as a “conspiracy” are clearly not a conspiracy. Strange things happening on the moon and UFOs, for example, are one of several great examples.

It’s OK to explore these things, but it’s vital that we examine good sources and present good sources when we do so.

Are Cats Spies Sent by Aliens? A Deep Examination of One of the Internet's Best Conspiracy Theories

Recent polling shows Americans love their conspiracy theories. They also love cats. This was bound to happen.

Attention cat people. There's a burgeoning theory around the internet that begs reckoning. It's not the theory that parasites in cat poop are turning you into crazy cat ladies, though that's certainly cause for alarm. It's much worse than that.

Domestic house cats, it seems, may be alien sentinels—sent to spy on us and report their findings back to the mother ship. Or, as some theorists have put it, they're like alien camcorders tracking our every move.

Well, maybe. We humans love our conspiracy theories, and there's a decent chance this is just another among them. As a poll published just yesterday reveals, 51 percent of Americans believe the JFK assassination was a conspiracy; 15 percent believe "the government or the media adds mind-controlling technology to TV broadcast signals"; and 4 percent believe reptilian shapeshifters control the government.

It's impossible to know just how pervasive cats-as-alien spies theory is without an adequate polling apparatus (if you have one, please get in touch). One guesses it's fairly low. Then again, 4 percent is much higher than one might have expected for the lizard people theory, and, according to the same poll, some 29 percent of Americans believe aliens exist and 14 percent believe in Bigfoot, so who knows?

As with most conspiracy theories, the cats-as-alien-spies theory is surprisingly well-developed—and based on a few kernels of truth and genuine ambiguity. How much? Motherboard decided to take a look at some of the supporting premises, one-by-one. A user who goes by the moniker "RedSpider" summarizes the prevailing wisdom in a handy list on the British tech message board, Digital Kaos. I've appropriated his/her list here (lightly edited for style and clarity), with the original points bolded.

Examine the evidence and decide for yourself:

1. There is no documentation before ancient Egypt that mentions the existence of cats. And in ancient Egypt, they were worshipped as gifts from the gods.

As with several of these premises, these propositions are mostly true, but also somewhat disputable. To find out more about the fossil record, I emailed Ryan Haupt, a paleontologist at the University of Wyoming who, as he described it for a previous interview, "studies the lives of modern mammals to better understand what their extinct relatives were doing in the past." He said Egypt was "the best guess" for the origin of the domestic cat species, but noted that "cat skeletons have been found at older sites."

Exporting domestic cats was illegal in ancient Egypt, according to Wild Cats of the World, a book by Mel and Fiona Sunquist, which may explain why they don't appear definitively in the records of other civilizations until thousands of years later than early cat records in Egypt. What older feline skeletons have been found elsewhere don't provide clear "evidence as to whether they were domesticated or not," Haupt said, adding, however, that they "probably" weren't.

"Looking at just skeletons it's basically impossible to say when cats stopped being wild and started being domesticated." Haupt said.

As for cat worship, the picture is a bit more complicated than the conspiracy theorist asserts. Cats were, indeed, revered by the ancient Egyptians, the Sunquists write. Cats were beloved as pets; they were mourned like family members when they died; they were embalmed and buried with varying degrees of pomp according to its owner's wealth; cat cemeteries were plotted along the banks of the Nile; the penalty for killing a cat was death. But cats weren't simply viewed as gifts from the gods. Some of the Egyptian gods were cats, like Bastet, the goddess of joy and love. One ancient Egyptian papyrus depicts Ra, the sun god, as a knife-wielding cat with spots.

I tried by Twitter and e-mail to contact everyone's favorite Ancient Aliens theorist and founder of Legendary Times Books, Giorgio Tsoukalos to get his opinion, but he didn't reply.

2. Science is baffled by a cat's purr, and cannot determine how the sound is produced. (Feedback, much?)

I'm not entirely sure what "Feedback much?" means, unless it means that a cat's purr is some kind of transmission feedback, similar to a cell phone's when held near a speaker. But the broader assertion is, again, partly true.

For this, I started with a bit of internet research. That science doesn't know why cats purr is often taken for granted around the internet, but that only tells part of the story. It's true that cats possess no special organ for purring. But science does know a thing or two. As noted in a WebMD article:

A rhythmic, repetitive neural oscillator [in the brain] sends messages to the laryngeal muscles, causing them to twitch at the rate of 25 to 150 vibrations per second (Hz). This causes a sudden separation of the vocal cords, during both inhalation and exhalation - the unique feline vibrato.
"Opera singing for cats," is what animal behaviorist Karen L. Overall, VMD, PhD calls it. But the purr is usually so low-pitched that we tend to feel it as much as hear it.

I contacted Dr. Ken Simpson, of Monon Animal Hospital, my vet back in my hometown of Indianapolis to ask what the latest veterinary science said. (Full disclosure, he's also my uncle.) He said the "physiology remains a slight enigma," but noted that vets have learned a few fascinating things about purring over the years.

"To me, purring is a method of communication that may be derived when the laryngeal folds are dilated with blood due to excitement from stimulation," he wrote to me. "As air flows through the folds, a vibration occurs which creates the sound heard. I have also heard that diaphragm movement against over-inflated lung tissue contributes sounds to the purr. In my experience, cats with asthma and hyperinflated lungs have a slightly louder purr."

There's evidence the behavior is learned, he noted. He described a deaf cat, for example, who never purred. Another cat patient of his had meningitis as a kitten and was learning-impaired as a result; that cat never purred either. Case studies like that lend themselves to the notion that cat purring does indeed, originate in the brain, and Simpson said he saw "no reason to doubt" the "neural oscillation" theory.

Still there's a certain point where the knowledge plateaus: What, exactly, is the neural oscillator? Why, exactly, does neural oscillation exist? And why, in behavioral terms, do cats purr? Those questions remain a bit of a mystery. Alien bio-technology? Transmission signals? It's doubtful, considering some wild cats, like cheetahs, purr as well.

3. If you hold a cat's ears back and describe what you see, it is a perfect match to the classic "grey alien," with its almond-shaped eyes, small mouth, and small nose.

4. A cat can see exponentially better than you. Making it appear that it must be more advanced evolutionarily speaking. How?

The extrapolated version of this, as I've gathered from other cat-as-alien-spy internet detritus, says that cats stare at us with those big eyes because they are, in fact, alien cameras, recording and beaming our actions back to the grey aliens that put them here. I can't find any evidence of anything but standard neuronal circuitry in a cat's brain, but one never knows. We humans have recently managed to build a computer out of living cells, so who knows what alien technology may be hidden in the feline brain?

Leaving that aside, the idea of a cat's eyes being "exponentially better" and that translating into evidence of irrationally advanced evolution is, of course, absurd.

Cats eyes have more "rods" in them than "cones"—the former are responsible for providing black-and-white images, which makes them crucial for night vision; the latter add color and help us discern details. Cats, thus, have better night vision, but they only "see better" depending on your definition. I like seeing in color, so if you suddenly gave me cat's eyes, I wouldn't describe my vision as "better" at all.

A cat's eyes do have a second advantage with regard to night vision. As this New York Times article explains:

Cats also have elliptical pupils that open and close faster and can become larger than our round ones. In addition, cats and some other nocturnal animals have a mirrorlike membrane, the tapetum, on the back of their eyes, which reflects the light passing through the rods back through them in the opposite direction. This "double exposure" allows cats to see well in near darkness.

But suppose we were to grant that cats had "better" vision because they can see better in some ways. That would mean, yes, that its eyes (but not the whole cat) were "more advanced evolutionarily speaking." But dogs smell better than we do. So do bees and mice, for that matter. Cheetahs run faster, birds fly better and elephants kick more ass generally. Are they aliens, too? Doubtful. If any species presents a real anomaly, it's us, with our enormous brains, which are three times bigger than nature typically grants its animals proportionally. I would like to go on the record here to state that if anything is related to aliens, it's probably us.

5. Ever watch a cat wake from a deep sleep and run out of the room in an instant? Transmissions from the mothership coming in, and they must be alone.

We've all seen this happen and I can't find an answer. Evidence of alien collaboration? Put it in the "maybe" column.

6. All things that come out of cats are totally unnatural. (Not of this earth.)

This, too, is absurd. Hairballs are disgusting but totally natural considering cats are hair and all they do is lie around and lick themselves all day. As for their urine and excrement, I don't see how it's any different than any other mammal's, other than its smelling particularly foul.

7. Cats survive situations that any earthbound animal would surely perish in. How can a cat fall out of a four-story building backwards, and land on its feet? (Anti-gravity properties.)

This is partly true. Cats are great hunters, and would probably outlive us humans in the wild if we and our cats were suddenly stranded on an uncharted desert isle or in a post-apocalyptic situation. But so would a lot of wild animals. The landing-on-feet scenario notwithstanding (more on that below), it's hard to conceive of a natural situation in which cats will always survive better than "any earthbound animal."

But that landing-on-its-feet thing is no joke. It's nuts. Folks at the Smarter Every Day YouTube channel offer some great slow-motion footage of a few cat-drops using a high-speed camera. As the host explains, the flipping cat problem was a mystery since time immemorial. Today physicists know a lot more about it, and the physics observed in flipping cats has helped teach scientists how to operate space telescopes.

As series host Destin Sandlin, a mechanical engineer and rocket tester, notes, on the surface a cat appears to violate the physical law of conservation of angular momentum. "I've studied freefalling bodies—my own, in fact—in several different environments, and once I get my angular rotation started in one direction, I can't stop it," he says.

But when the cat's freefall is slowed down, it's clear the cat does not violate the law. It's just extremely, extremely agile. In physics terms it's complicated, but it has everything to do with the way the cat arches its back, extends and retracts its legs, and, in doing so, rotates its body along two separate rotational axes.

So while the theory of anti-gravity properties is certainly appealing, it doesn't, shall we say, carry weight.

8. If you die, your cats will eat you. Not really a link between cats and Aliens, but still pretty creepy.

By all accounts this is true. In 2010, for example, about a dozen cats were found eating the corpse of a northwestern Pennsylvania man who was found dead there with his mother.

But as Chris Gayomali notes for The Week, cats aren't the only pets that eat their owners after they die. Some pets kill their owners then eat them. Gayomali's article includes examples of pet pigs, pythons, a pet hippo, lizards and others, including a pair of Nebraskan pugs who survived on their owner's body for two weeks after he killed himself.

Now may be a good time for a bit more journalistic disclosure by saying that I am, in fact, a dog person. I would happily believe that cats are the only pets that eat their owners if so compelled. But it simply isn't true. Brian Palmer notes in this Slate article that history is rife with examples of dogs eating dead humans, even the corpses of their owners. (Apparently, Palmer notes, there is even a theory among some scholars that Jesus' body was eaten by dogs and that "his acolytes fabricated the story of a reverential entombment as a sort of coping mechanism.")

Our conspiracy theory friends are correct that this is creepy, indeed. But it's hardly evidence that cats are alien drones.

On September 19, 2019 a dashcam recorded a ball of fire coming out of a thunderstorm over Russia.

Ball lightning (electric orb) is an unexplained and potentially dangerous atmospheric electrical phenomenon and has captivated and mystified us for centuries and although scientists seem to agree ball lightning is real, even if they don't yet fully understand what causes it.

But since this ball of fire follows a very strange trajectory before it disappears we may wonder whether it is ball lightning or something else.

When it comes to UFOs, those truly in the know – let’s call them the Deep Know – know that no one was going to find out much by storming Area 51. That’s not due to the security but to the reality that the alleged crashed spaceships and live-or-dead aliens are not in Nevada but in Ohio – specifically at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton. If any reverse engineering of extraterrestrial technology is going on, it’s going on there. Which is why we should be paying very close attention to an announcement recently that Air Force scientists at WPAFB have developed a liquid metal that becomes stronger and a better conductor when stretched – the exact opposite of all other known conductive materials. Is this what spaceships are made of? Or Terminator-like aliens?

“Typically a material will increase in resistance as it is stretched simply because the current has to pass through more material. Experimenting with these liquid metal systems and seeing the opposite response was completely unexpected and frankly unbelievable until we understood what was going on.”

“Unbelievable” is not a word you’d expect to be used in a press release from the military, let alone one from an Air Force base so closely tied to Project Blue Book and other secret UFO projects. Yet that is exactly the word Dr. Christopher Tabor, lead research scientist at Air Force Research Laboratory, used to describe the properties of Polymerized Liquid Metal Networks, a new material developed by the lab while researching new ways to make next-generation wearable electronics that won’t weaken when the body it surrounds stretches or bends, and will retain all of its conductivity properties under the same stresses.

“Core–shell particles of liquid metal with surface‐bound acrylate ligands are synthesized and polymerized together to create cross‐linked particle networks comprising >99.9% liquid metal by weight. When stretched, particles within these polymerized liquid metal networks (Poly‐LMNs) rupture and release their liquid metal payload, resulting in a rapid 108‐fold increase in the network’s conductivity. These networks autonomously form hierarchical structures that mitigate the deleterious effects of strain on electronic performance and give rise to emergent properties. Notable characteristics include nearly constant resistances over large strains, electronic strain memory, and increasing volumetric conductivity with strain to over 20 000 S cm−1 at >700% elongation.”

In a technical paper published in the journal Advanced Materials, Tabor and lead author Capt. Carl Thrasher, research chemist within the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate at AFRL, explain how the particles of liquid metal are enclosed in a shell and then chemically tethered to the next one through a polymerization process, linking all of them together. Under stress, the shells break, releasing the liquid that quickly rebonds its particles to maintain the material’s conductivity and inherent stretchability. According to the report, there is no detection of fatigue after 10,000 stress cycles.

“This is something that isn’t available on the market today so we are really excited to introduce this to the world and spread the word.”

Or is it being reintroduced? The Air Force Research Laboratory is the primary scientific research and development center for the Air Force and “plays an integral role in leading the discovery, development, and integration of affordable warfighting technologies for our air, space, and cyberspace force.” More importantly, it’s based at WPAFB which is located at the birthplace of manned flight and the heart of military air flight research since World War I (as McCook Field). And, as the Deep Know and anyone who watched the recent Project Blue Book series or read the insider books about it knows, it has long been rumored to be where alien pilots and their crashed UFOs are taken and … re-engineered?

Needs work

This is not to discount the fine work military scientists are doing at the Air Force Research Laboratory. However, in this age of Tom DeLonge and To The Stars Academy partnering with the US Army to share UFO materials, military disclosure of encounters   and more, is it wrong to question the source of military inventions that are described as “unbelievable”?

Will we ever find out?

Nat Geo Photographer Admits to Encountering Alien Beings Underwater

• Luis Lamar, an underwater director of photography for National Geographic and OceanX, says that he has encountered alien beings during his underwater assignments. “[I]n the ocean, I have come across potentially beings from another heavenly body that are more highly advanced than humans,” Lamar says in the OceanX video. 
• Lamar apparently claims that these advanced beings in the ocean depths come in the form of enhanced sea creatures. Says Lamar, “I’ve seen giant deep sea arachnids, venomous sea snakes far offshore with, like bright-yellow heads… Some sort of you know, hyper-advanced aquatic alien creatures inhabiting the shallow waters, which almost look like stingrays.”

A renowned photographer for National Geographic and OceanX claimed that he has encountered alien beings during his underwater assignments. According to the photographer, the beings resembled stingrays and appeared to be more advanced than humans.

The claims about the underwater aliens were made by Luis Lamar, an underwater director of photography for National Geographic and OceanX. He made the revelation through a recent video made by the latter company.

The clip, which is only about a minute and a half long, focuses on Lamar’s profile and his remarkable experience working as an underwater photographer. At the beginning of the video, Lamar immediately confessed his encounters with alien lifeforms from other planets.

“I think, in the ocean, I have come across potentially beings from another heavenly body that are more highly advanced than humans,” he said.

In another part of the video, Lamar discussed the various marine lifeforms he came across underwater. While talking about the strange marine organisms he encountered, Lamar also discussed the appearance of some of the underwater aliens that he saw.

“I’ve seen giant deep sea arachnids, venomous sea snakes far offshore with, like bright-yellow heads,” he said.

“Sharks in a frenzy, Orcas swarming all around me,” he continued. “Some sort of you know, hyper-advanced aquatic alien creatures inhabiting the shallow waters, which almost look like stingrays.”

Despite his bizarre and terrifying encounters with deep sea creatures, Lamar still considers the ocean as a very beautiful place to be in.

Claims regarding encounters with underwater aliens are not new. In January, a report was released regarding the encounters of U.S. nuclear submarines with unknown underwater objects. These were referred to as the underwater counterparts of UFOs, which are known as USOs or underwater submerged objects.

The report, which was released by The War Zone, focuses on the encounters of Navy personnel with USOs. In one of the encounters, an attack submarine was patrolling the North Atlantic when its sonar picked up an object moving fast in the water. Although the submarine’s sonar personnel were not able to classify what the object was, they noted that it was moving at a speed of several hundred knots.

Of er ook letterlijk monsters door de bossen strompelden, zoals je bij een fatsoenlijke apocalyps mag verwachten, is onduidelijk. “We hebben nog veel vragen over de biologie hierachter”, zegt Van de Schootbrugge. Wél is het voor het eerst dat onderzoekers het verband leggen tussen vulkanisme en de aantasting van levende wezens overal op aarde.

ZWAAR GIFTIG

Van de Schootbrugge wijst erop dat kwikvergiftiging ook een nieuw licht werpt op andere prehistorische uitsterframpen. Liefst drie andere massa-extincties vonden plaats tegelijk met extreem vulkanisme. De ergste keer was 251 miljoen jaar geleden, toen een Russische megavulkaan miljoenen jaren lang de boel op stelten zette. In zee verdween toen tot liefst 95 procent van alle soorten. “Ik denk dat kwik ook daarbij heeft meegespeeld”, zegt Van de Schootbrugge.

Watch this raw footage as a UFO cloaked in a cloud slowly moves through a parking lot as it it belongs there. The people watch this strange object and one person even says to go over and touch it, but the other person says no way thats happening. Another perron suggests its a spaceships. I believe that is correct. This is a very small craft that is normally in the sky and built with a cloak that makes a cloud around it. You can even see the cockpit window in the front of it. The right angle on the back is clear indication that there is a craft inside and that they are probably revealed by accident...they thought they were invisible, but they totally forgot to turn off the cloud cloak being on. Chain Of Giant Arctic Craters Likely Caused By Climate-Altering Supervolcanoes

A 2,000-mile-long linear chain of giant craters located in the Arctic is the likely result of multiple climate-altering supervolcanic eruptions associated with the movement of the North American continent across an underlying non-moving deep earth lower mantle superplume, not random meteor impact strikes.

For many years an impassioned debate has been waged between those who believe these Arctic craters are astronomical in origin with those favoring a volcanic eruption origin.

The recent discovery by the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA) of two giant craters beneath the Greenland Ice Sheet that is positioned along the Arctic crater trend has pushed this debate back into the spotlight. NASA has stated in no uncertain terms that these two new craters are of astronomical origin.

However, NASA and those advocating an astronomical origin for this chain of giant Arctic craters have failed to include two extremely relevant and telling lines of evidence, the regional geological setting and the dynamics of supervolcanic eruptions.

Regional Geological Setting

A critical factor in determining the origin of giant crater features is to research, understand and then incorporate the Regional Geological Setting. Failure to do this, especially early on, leads to an investigation process that is too narrowly focused.

Limiting the investigation area to a very small geographical area when reviewing world-class-sized crater features, especially those that occur in groups, is an inherently bad idea. The result of this narrow focusing is to bias the search for which massive force or forces is behind the giant craters.

Specifically, biasing scientists to look upward into the vast expanse of outer space rather than looking laterally at regionally extensive geological features.

So, let’s review and then determine the relevance of the regional geological setting associated with the 2,500-mile-long linear chain of giant Arctic craters.

Several observations are extremely telling. First, as per Figure 2, the giant Arctic craters are positioned along with a linear trend which is unusual because meteor Impacts are distributed randomly across the earth and not aligned along with trends.

The trend coincides with the surface trace of a well-mapped major deep-inner earth-reaching fault system (see here).

Major fault trends often act to provide an open pathway for deep inner earth hot lava/magma to explode upward and onto the Earth’s surface. Current information indicates that the Arctic crater features are progressively younger in age to the northeast.

Secondly, major fault trends can tap into extremely deep non-moving/fixed lava pockets (magma chambers) termed lower mantle superplumes.

When activated superplumes violently explode upward along the fault planes thereby periodically expulsing super-high pressure and massive volumes of magma upward and onto outer continental rock layers in the form of supervolcanic eruptions.

As outer continental rock layers move sideways, per continental drift, across the underlying and non-moving superplume, the process creates a long linear chain of supervolcanic eruptions that are progressively younger in one direction. This is exactly what is thought to have occurred with the Arctic craters.

This idea is strengthened by comparison to other analog regional geological settings. An excellent example is the Snake River Plain Volcanic region (see here, here and here).

A 450-mile-long chain of large volcanic eruptions that are progressively younger to the northeast and ultimately terminate at the Yellowstone Supervolcanic Eruption Complex (Figure 3).

The Snake Palin is expressed at the surface by a topographic low which is the result of downward movement along with major deep-earth-reaching fault zone.

Next, NASA researchers and others have confirmed the effects of an ancient mantle plume that affected various locations along a 1,500-mile stretch from northern Greenland to Iceland. Iceland sits atop the current position of the mantle plume (see here).

Relic bedrock heat flow from this ancient mantle plume is still anomalously high and thereby acting to bottom melt a huge swath of Greenland’s glacial ice sheet.

As a side note, the author has identified three additional giant craters associated with the giant Arctic trend (see Appendix 1). They are not included in this discussion because they are speculative/unproven, however well worth further investigation.

Dynamics of supervolcanic eruptions

The dynamics of supervolcanic eruptions is not well understood, however, recent research has shed light on how these monster volcanoes operate as follows:

• Eruptions are located above major fault systems that tap down into the earth’s mantle or more likely lower mantle. These types of faults have non-complex plumbing systems (large open vertical pathways) that allow expulsed lava to rise upward at very high speeds.
• Eruptions occur periodically as high pressure in the deep lava pockets exceeds the capability of the vertical fault system to keep the lava chamber from exploding upward.
• High-pressure pulses are the result of the rapid warming of water present in the hot lava and not a movement of the lava pocket. Explosive release of huge lava pockets can occur in an extremely short time frame, as little as 48 hours!

The dynamics of supervolcanic eruptions also affects the development of minerals within the hot lava mixture.

For many years the presence of the rare metal iridium in rock layers surrounding Earth’s giant crater features was considered by many scientists as strong proof and some said absolute proof, that the crater was of meteor impact origin.

This was based on the then thought to be 100% settled scientific fact that Iridium is common in meteors but extremely rare in earth’s outer crust rock layers.

Therefore, finding significant concentrations of iridium in rock layers that form the circular rim of Earth’s giant crater features must be strong proof of a meteor impact origin.

This supposed scientific fact has since been proven to be incorrect, primarily because significant concentrations of Iridium have been discovered in one of the largest outflows of molten lava on earth, the Deccan Traps.

This huge geographically extensive geological feature is not a crater and is now thought to be one of the primary and some say the root cause of the Great Dinosaur Extinction Event (Gerta Keller Princeton University and here).

The Deccan Traps lava flows were sourced by an underlying major fault break (see here and here) extending downward into Earth’s iridium rich mantle.

It is now accepted that the presence of Iridium in crater rocks is not absolute proof of a meteor impact origin, rather proof of a meteor impact or supervolcanic eruption (see here).

As was true with Iridium, for many years the presence of the rare mineral termed Shock Quartz in rock layers surrounding earth’s giant crater features was considered by many scientists as strong proof, and some said absolute proof, that the crater was of meteor impact origin.

New research has shown that shock quartz can theoretically be generated by supervolcanic eruptions as has recently been proven to be the case with the transformation of carbon to diamonds (see here and quote below).

“These findings contradict recent molecular dynamics simulation results for the shock-induced graphite-to-diamond transformation and provide a benchmark for future theoretical simulations. Additionally, our results show that an earlier report of HD forming above 170 GPa for shocked pyrolytic graphite may lead to incorrect interpretations of meteor impact events…The coupling of planar impact experiments and synchrotron XRD measurements has provided real-time, in situ structural information on the shock-induced graphite-to-diamond transformation. Shock-compressed pyrolytic graphite transforms to HD at a much lower stress than previously reported (35) and without CD formation. In addition to graphite, other shock-compressed minerals (for example, quartz) that transform to high-pressure structures are also used as markers for meteorite impacts (44). Thus, experimental results—similar to those presented here for the graphite-to-diamond transformation—can greatly benefit studies of shock metamorphism in other minerals.” (see here)

Shock Quartz is generated by an almost instantaneous pulse of super-high pressure onto relatively low-temperature, silica-rich molten lava/magma which is here contended to be the case with violent supervolcanic eruptions fed by magma from lower Mantle superplumes.

Other Evidence

The Nastapoka Arc (Figure 2) which is one of the larger crater-like features in the Arctic and has been research-proven to be absent of Iridium and Shock Quartz. This throws into question the consensus scientific theory that this crater and other craters along this trend are 100% proven to be of astronomical origin.

Regional geological mapping also shows that this arc is likely not of meteor impact origin because the arc is not circular feature, rather a distinct semi-circle sharply cut off by a major fault (see here).

Recent research studies have confirmed that all five Earth’s climate-altering mass extinctions are the result of massive world-class pulses of volcanism from land and ocean geological features including the previously thought to be Meteor Impact end of the dinosaurs.

These extinction events include the Ordovician (450 MYA), Devonian (370 MYA), Permian (252 MYA), Triassic (200 Mya), and K-Pg (dinosaur). The main take away from these volcanically induced mass extinctions is that until very recently many mass extinctions were still attributed to astronomical forces.

So, it is always a good idea to follow proper scientific methodology, keep an open mind and evaluate new data. Theories can change even those thought to be 100% settled.

Numerous World-Class Rare Metallic Mineral Mines are located south of the chain of Arctic craters all associated with deep earth reaching major fault systems.

Fault systems that brought rare minerals to the surface likely from the Lower Mantle. This emphasizes the important and very active role of regional geological features in the Arctic craters area.

SUMMARY

Convincing, abundant and reliable evidence indicates that a long linear chain of giant crater features located in northeast Canada and northern Greenland are of supervolcanic and not astronomical in origin.

This includes the two recently discovered giant subglacial crater features located in northwest Greenland and three new giant crater features designated by the author (see Appendix 1).

In the past, the scientific community has in some cases narrowly focused their investigation of earth’s giant crater features in limited geographical regions, thereby not properly evaluating the significance of the regional geological setting.

In addition, they have not correctly interpreted the presence or absence of Iridium and Shock Quartz. Nor have they taken into consideration the growing amount of evidence that supervolcanic eruptions are a different kind of beast.

It’s way past time for the consensus scientific community to inform the public that supervolcanic eruptions have in past acted to control much of Earth’s climate and have forced many anomalous climate-related events most notably mass extinctions.

In a broader sense, this is yet another example of how geological forces have an underappreciated, underestimated but significant influence on our planet’s climate as per the Plate Climatology Theory.
