Antarctica is a place with so much ice and snow that they seem to go on forever. Animals, such as seals and penguins, have adapted to the freezing cold temperatures. However, millions of years ago, it wasn’t the blistering cold and icy continent that it’s known for today. Around 250 million years ago, Antarctica was full of forests and rivers with various species wildlife living there, including reptiles. As a matter of fact, the temperature on the continent hardly ever dipped below the freezing mark.
In addition to the nice weather and vast wildlife that thrived on the continent millions of years ago, a new species has been discovered that once lived there. Researchers uncovered the fossil of an iguana-sized reptile that was an early relative of the Antarctic dinosaurs. During a 2010-2011 expedition, the incomplete skeleton was taken from Graphite Peak in the Transantarctic Mountains. The fossil contained parts of its skull, backbone, and limbs.
The small creature was said to have been a carnivore that ate bugs, amphibians, and other early mammal relatives. It has been named Antarctanax shackletoni which translates to “Antarctic king” (for Antarctanax) and in honor of the Antarctic explorer named Ernest Shackleton (for shackletoni).
Dr. Brandon Peecook, who is the lead author of a study on the discovery as well as a paleontologist at Field Museum, said, “Antarctanax shackletoni was an archosaur, an early relative of crocodiles and dinosaurs.” He went on to say, “On its own, it just looks a little like a lizard, but evolutionarily, it’s one of the first members of that big group. It tells us how dinosaurs and their closest relatives evolved and spread.”
Approximately two million years prior to the Antarctanax shackletoni roaming Antarctica, the Earth suffered a huge mass extinction which killed off 90% of all animals on the planet. After the mass extinction, archosaurs (which included dinosaurs) experienced a lot of growth around the planet. Dr. Peecook explained, “Before the mass extinction, archosaurs were only found around the equator, but after it, they were everywhere.” This would indicate that Antarctica was an area where evolution and diversity happened quite fast following the end-Permian mass extinction.
While the exploration of the continent of Antarctica is still in its early stages, it’s very possible that more new and unique creatures will be discovered from millions of years ago. In relation to the process involved with exploring the continent, Dr. Peecook explained, “Antarctica is one of those places on Earth, like the bottom of the sea, where we’re still in the very early stages of exploration. Antarctanax is our little part of discovering the history of Antarctica.”

Tehran is sinking… And now gigantic holes as deep as 60 meters (197 feet) are appearing in western Iran. And that’s not because of missiles or meteors… No, no! They are the result of excessive water pumping.
A few weeks ago, new satellite measurements showed that Tehran was sinking about 10 inches (25 centimeters) per year.

A side effect of such impressive subsidence is the sudden appearance of giant cracks and sinkholes in some areas that may end up with some parts of Iran completely disappearing from world maps.
Metamaterials, in this context defined as pieces of UFOs, debris, implants or other exotic items have been a huge topic since they were referenced in the New York Times pieceon December 16th, 2017 and long before that, as well. A lot of work has been done behind the scenes regarding these materials. Data and information will be coming to light viaTo the Stars Academy’s ADAM Research Projectand most likely other groups. Some of the work has been described in Dr. Diana Walsh Pasulka’s amazing book, “American Cosmic: UFOs Religion, Technology.” I can’t say for sure, but I have a hunch that behind the scenes, conclusions have been made about how these authentic Metamaterials were constructed in zero or microgravity and most likely not manufactured on Earth.
Mr. George Knapp has been reporting on this for years. As a primer, here is one of his heavy hitting reports on the subject.
Tom Delonge brought up the Metamaterials during his interview with Joe Rogan in 2017:
Delonge: “…looking at debris that they probably still have in a warehouse, going ‘we have no f*****g clue how to make this or back engineer this stuff.’ I mean, there’s a piece of metal, from a crash that I’ve seen, and I’ve seen the science on it, and it’s so… it’s atomically aligned and it’s layered in like eighty layers within just a few microns of purities of metal that aren’t even in our solar system and they think it needs to be made in an area where there’s no gravity. So, number one, it has to be made in space. Number two, even if we were to create a machine that can potentially do some of this stuff, 3D printing layers of different metals of obscene purities, it would cost hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. We don’t even have that.”
Rogan: “What did they think? That it was made without gravity?”
Delonge: “Because I think it’s the atomic structure. So what happens is when you radiate it with Terahertz, it loses mass, something weird. It resonates some kind of harmonic, and then it gets lighter and if you hit it with enough terahertz it’ll float. So we’re going to be showing people this stuff. We’re going to be bringing out the hardware, some of the hardware. We’re going to be bringing out implants. We’re going to be bring out videos. We’re going to bringing out some other stuff.”
Rogan: “So you are going to be showing people this actual piece of metal that was constructed in a zero gravity environment in space and if you hit it with enough energy it becomes weightless?”
Delonge: “I wouldn’t say weightless, I don’t know if we can make enough energy to do that, but yes, that is our plan, and show the experiment.”
Since Tom’s interview, not only was the New York Times article published, AATIP revealed, and military videos released, backing up some of his claims, but the ADAM Research Project was launched:
“James and Tyler believed they had evidence, not just faith, to support their belief in the extraterrestrial source of the artifacts and the authenticity of the crash site. Prior to this trip, Tyler had given James an analysis of some of the parts. James knew what he was looking at, and, according to him, if this analysis actually corresponded to the makeup of the artifacts, then they were one of two things: they were something that someone paid millions, if not billions, of dollars to fabricate or “something” made them somewhere other than on Earth with technologies we did not understand.”
“So let me give you an example of, how this stuff helps people who are chasing these really difficult problems. I’m choosing one here: metamaterials for aerospace use. I’d love to talk about really fancy materials, but they’re classified. However, there’s a lot of materials that have been picked up or provided even in the public domain. I’m going to give an example because it shows exactly what the structure is for how to deal with this. This is an open source sample. It was sent anonymously to talk show host Art Bell. The fellow claimed to be in the military. He said that this sample was picked up in a crash retrieval, and so he sent it by email. So what does that mean? Chain of custody non-existent. Provenance questionable. Could be a hoax. Could be some slag off of some foundry floor or whatever. However, it was an unusual sample, so we decided to take a look at it.
It was a multilayered bismuth and magnesium sample. Bismuth layers less than a human hair. Magnesium samples about ten-times the size of a human hair. Supposedly picked up in the crash retrieval of an Advanced Aerospace Vehicle. It looks like it’s been in a crash. The white lines are the bismuth; the darker areas are the magnesium separations. So the question was what about this material, so naturally we looked in all the national labs, we talked to metallurgists, we combed the entire structure of published papers. Nowhere could we find any evidence that anybody ever made one of these.
Secondly, some attempts were made to try to reproduce this material, but they couldn’t get the bismuth and magnesium layers to bond.
Thirdly, when we talked to people in the materials field who should know, they said we don’t know why anybody would want to make anything like this. It’s not obvious that it has any function.
Well, years later, decades later actually, finally our own science moves along. We move into an area called metamaterials, and it turns out exactly this combination of materials at exactly those dimensions turn out to be an excellent microscopic waveguide for very high frequency electromagnetic radiation terahertz frequencies. So, the wavelength is 60 microns, which is a pretty small size. But it turns out because of the metamaterial aspect of this material, those bismuth layers that act as waveguides can be one twentieth the size of the wavelength, and usually when you make a waveguide it’s gotta be about the size of the wavelength. So, in fact this turned out to be a material that would propagate sub-wavelength waveguide effects. Why somebody wants to do that we still don’t know the answer to that.
But anyway, it’s amazing we’ve gone through this and this is the kind of structure we go through a lot. You get a material sample with unusual characteristics to be evaluated, the method of manufacture is difficult to assess or reproduce, the purpose of the function is not readily apparent – as with our sample here, and then as our own technical knowledge moves forward we finally see a possible purpose or function comes to light. That sequence is repeated over and over in this particular area.”
Frank Statler: “Can you give us a little background on the nature of the recovered materials mentioned in the New York Times story?”
Dr. Garry Nolan: These are not your grandma’s alloys. If these materials truly exist– they are going to be found to be metamaterials. Though I call them metamaterials– it’s really for lack of a better term. They are probably even more engineered and subtle than that. The science of metamaterials is only a few decades old, but there is a whole ecosystem of new journals growing up around their unexpected and wondrous properties. One way to think about metamaterials is that is, basically, quantum engineering—working with “normal” matter in a way that takes advantage of properties we don’t fully appreciate yet. We draw the physical universe with only 80 elements. I would guess—just hypothesis– that “they” (an advanced civilization) that we might infer can accomplish some of the feats observed by the pilots understand the subtleties of isotopes and design with all 253 stable isotopes. The metamaterials “they” could design would be more subtle and likely encompass a greater understanding of reality and physics than we know now.
Remember, isotopes of a given element have the same electronic configuration, so they form covalent bonds similar to their sister isotopes (though with subtle differences in bond strengths). However, their nuclei have different spins for instance with, at times, unpaired neutrons. The various nuclear configurations gives rise to multiple fascinating opportunities in designing metamaterials. Want to know what your children should be studying in school? People interested in understanding the reality of what’s going on with these metamaterials (so-called alloys) need to understand this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isotope . There are 253 isotopes that do not undergo radioactive decay in any reasonable time frame. This page has a table of nuclides where the grey boxes denote the 253 stable isotopes. Some elements, such as aluminum, have only 1 stable isotope. Titanium and nickel each have 5 stable isotopes. Tin (Sn) has eight! There are natural ratios of these isotopes that are largely governed by stellar decay processes, centrifugal forces (solar and other) during planetary formation, and proximity to gamma and other radiation sources. The ratios vary only slightly (maximum a couple percent) across a solar system. Significant variations in isotope ratios imply either engineering of the ratios for a purpose, or that the materials came from somewhere that does not “play by our rules”.
My suspicion is that a foundational difference is the nuclear spin of these isotopes (and other quantum features associated with different arrangements of the nuclear shells in the different isotopes) that affects how they behave/contribute in these composites or metamaterial structures.
The Times claimed that Bigelow Aerospace, under the contract of AAWSAP housed Metamaterials in their Las Vegas facility. We later found out that might not be the case, or the whole picture, but it’s my opinion that NIDS, BAASS and/or Bigelow Aerospace did in fact possess these samples.

In a round about way, I recently experienced a personal revelation. For the last several months I have been thinking of ways to enhance various business plans related to commercialization of space. These involve transportation systems and economically justifiable destinations.
Naturally, what you can do or produce on an orbiting system that creates special or unique value becomes very, very important for the business case. While reading and talking on this subject, I reinforced what I previously knew a little but not nearly enough; and, that was that many unique and often profoundly special reactions occur upon organic and non-organic substances in a microgravity environment that happen nowhere else. We all know of the usual cast of characters but, I’m talking about ones you normally don’t read about.
As it turns out in processes affecting non-organic substances for example, it is possible to create materials, components and products that are totally in a class by themselves. Nowhere, terrestrially, can any of these items with their unique performance capabilities be made. I’m getting closer to my revelation. What is the implication here? Well, I believe that components for advanced spacecraft can be manufactured in a microgravity environment that cannot be duplicated on the surface of a planet.
And now here is my theory. I strongly believe that at least some UFOs owe their beginnings to being manufactured whole or in substantial part from materials made in a microgravity environment. Competitively, we might well be working with a periodic table containing much fewer elements compared to a species that has access to those same elements but has fully achieved manufacturing and experimentation in space on a significant scale.
I believe, so long as a species remains planet-bound in their manufacturing processes, they will not avail themselves of the resource necessary to make interstellar craft. They will only develop what terrestrial processes allow.
As for our UFO friends, we will not begin to match their early craft until we also begin to exploit space for manufacturing purposes.

Linda Moulton Howe: “George do you think that Robert Bigelow’s blow-up units going to Mars, going to the moon, out to the lagrange points… that he, Robert Bigelow, through what he is manufacturing to be placed in these exoplanetary systems, that he will finally start? Have you ever talked with him about his learning more from deeper inside, the… we’ll call it the deep state, that is now bandied about so much?”
George Knapp: “Well, I most certainly have talked to him, at length, over many years about exactly that. I think that, I’d have to say that those conversations for now are private and when…I’ve tried to get the the okay to go forward on some of that, but our agreement was it would remain private. I think he has been… his understanding of it has greatly expanded in the last several years. His total focus now is on his space program, but I think that you’re on the right track there and asking whether the expandable habitats could be part of the mystery, part of getting to the bottom of it. And I’ll tell you how. It’s the Metamaterials that we have discussed. You know Hal Puthoff and Eric Davis and others are trying to figure out what those things are and how they work and why they would be so important to the kind of magical propulsion systems that we’ve seen on the videos that have come out of the Pentagon. I think one conclusion that has been reached is that these things were made somewhere else. That we can’t manufacture these things on earth, not using our current technology. The possibility is, and even maybe the likelihood is, they were created in in zero gravity. You need zero gravity to make them. Well, we don’t have any manufacturing facilities in space, so whoever made them, it’s not us. So maybe if we do have habitats, and a permanent presence in space, and larger and larger space stations, that eventually we’ll be able to make this kind of stuff ourselves in zero gravity. We can’t do it now, but Bob Bigelow, the central focus of his life is creating platforms where we might be able to do it someday.”

“On my journey as a filmmaker to grasp the UFO problem from a technological point of view, it’s my understanding that the current state of material science is the nagging barrier to our development.
The Earthy replication of exotic and seemingly “non-terrestrial” technologies – observed by military and civilians alike – is hindered by the physical materials we are capable of fabricating or procuring.
Metamaterials certainly represent fabricated technologies that provide new opportunities, unseen by humanity before. A simple example would be the super-superconductivity and strength of Graphene. A not-so-simple example might be on the horizon.
The concept of a micro-gravity production environment – as championed by Robert Bigelow and reported on by George Knapp – is one single aspect of a much larger push to unravel the physical blockades preventing us from utilizing an exotic physics that we are just starting to understand.
I suspect that with each leap in the development of our material science, we will discover new ways of accessing the fundamental nature of the physical universe. And that with each discovery will be a new vista – a plateau to view our past ignorance from. What today seems like magic, will seem commonplace tomorrow. We will quickly take for granted the discoveries of our ancestors with an irreverence – and with a hunger for the future.
Ultimately there might be a singular breakthrough-technology that forever launches us from the shores of the past. However, it might not be quite that dramatic.
As long as we continue to explore the physical mystery of the UFO and the Un-Funded Opportunities (as Ben Rich would say)… I imagine we will get there – in time.
And we are indeed exploring UFOs – currently – in every branch of the United States military and intelligence networks. We have seasoned programs attempting to tackle every aspect of the problem.
Maybe physical materials is the next to be revealed. And maybe it will be the Pandora’s Box that some are hoping for.
With curiosity comes discovery; and with discovery comes greater curiosity.

There are many examples of petroglyphs, rock paintings and figurines in which dinosaurs are represented alongside men.
Even when there is only a rock painting or petroglyph depicting a dinosaur, without being next to him represented a humanoid, it is clear that the job was accomplished by a man or a humanoid.
The figurines were tested with Carbon 14 testify antiquity of 6500 years old.

Let’s face it: Antarctica may as well be another planet. While there are theories that the continent may have once been home to long-lost civilizations, we only know for a fact that humans have been exploring Antarctica since the late 19th century. We’ve barely even scratched the surface of an entire continent. Who knows what may lie frozen in the icy wastes of Earth’s most mysterious landmass?
NASA scientists may soon unlock those mysteries – although we probably won’t like what we find. Unless it’s Atlantis. Or the ancient wreck of an alien spacecraft containing a shapeshifting parasitic creature that may or may not take up residence inside Kurt Russell. Whatever is down there, scientists from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory want to find it. JPL nerds have been studying the frozen southernmost continent with specially designed radar satellites since 2010 and have now announced the discovery of a mysterious, giant cavity opening up beneath the continent. Just the thing the world needs!
In a press release, JPL scientists say the cavity was discovered under Thwaites Glacier in West Antarctica. The mysterious void is two-thirds the size of Manhattan and is over 1,000 feet (300 meters tall) – much larger than any other known cavities. If the void continues to grow, it could allow more heat and water to accumulate under the Thwaites Glacier, accelerating ice melt to the point where sea levels could rise by 2 feet or 65 centimeters. The Thwaites Glacier plays an important role in holding other neighboring ice masses in place, so if it melts or falls into the sea, there could be devastating consequences for everyone on Earth. Yikes.
While JPL is focused more on how the cavity is related to ice melts and other effects of global warming, I’m more interested in the less inevitably apocalyptic side of this story: what might we find inside this cavity if we could somehow explore it? After all, Antarctica has recently been the site of all manner of unexpected and mysterious developments lately including the recent surprising discovery of unknown organisms lying at the bottom of an ancient unexplored underground lake. What secrets could this void be hiding?
Stunning new color X-ray images, from a company called Mars Bioimaging, in New Zealand, seem to make flesh and bone translucent and hyperreal.

The gif above shows one of the company's strange and fascinating images: a slice of human ankle, with off-white, rugged bones, bloody-looking muscle tissue and a pad of fatsmeared protectively under the heel with a whipped-cream texture.

It's important to note that these aren't "true-color" X-ray scans as most people would commonly understand the term. As the inventors of the sensor that was used to make these images described in a 2015 paper in the journal IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging and on the company's website, the colors in these images are applied based on the computer's detection of different wavelengths of X-rays passing through different substances. There are, however, no "true" red X-rays or "true" white X-rays; the device's programmers assign different colors to different detected body parts. (What human brains interpret as color comes from different wavelengths of light in the visual spectrum bouncing off objects. Visible light is also a form of electromagnetic radiation but is lower-energy than X-ray light.)
To successfully distinguish muscle, fat and bone, Mars Bioimaging developed sensors that could fit inside computed tomography (CT) scanners (circular X-ray devices that produce three-dimensional X-ray images) and produce very detailed information about the wavelengths of individual X-ray photons that pass through and bounce off human tissue. By sensing the wavelengths that disappear after passing through a particular bit of tissue, the device makes a judgement about what chemicals make up that tissue and uses that information to figure out what sort of tissue it was. The photon-counting technology, the company says in its marketing materials, was originally developed as part of its founders' work with CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, which operates the world's largest atom smasher.
By matching those scans with details about how different chemical compounds interact with X-ray light, they were able to distinguish different compounds in X-ray scans, the researchers wrote in the 2015 study. To produce these new grody, gorgeous color images of living tissue, they simply tasked the computer with painting the different compounds of fat, bone and muscle different colors.
The benefit for researchers, the company claims in its marketing materials, isn't so much the fascinating visuals (though that's a plus) as it is the wealth of precise chemical data on objects in the scanner. The careful, multilayered tissue scans, they write, will enable new precision in medical research.

That was Canseco’s first of a series of tweets on January 30th about aliens. It’s not clear what “AI51” is, although it’s possibly a combined abbreviation of ‘Artificial Intelligence, Area 51’, but searches come up with nothing on aliens with that name regardless of body composition. Is this a new classification?

Where did that figure come from? Some scientists say the maximum pressure a human can endure is 70 times normal atmospheric pressure or 1029 pounds per square inch. Is that what you’re talking about, Jose? And isn’t the brain part of the body? How can pressure on the brain alone be equalized? What kind of science is this?

Or perhaps they’re fans of the 1980s Oakland Athletics and the “Bash Brothers” – Canseco and Mark McGwire, the team’s steroid-infused home run tandem. Or could it be that Canseco has dealt with them before?

On January 23, Emmy award winning journalist, Linda Moulton Howe, released the video testimonyof a new whistleblower discussing his highly classified mission to a large buried structure found in Antarctica. The whistleblower claims that in a classified mission conducted in 2003, he entered inside a very large octagon-shaped structure located near the Beardmore Glacier that extended down deep into the glacier’s icy interior.
The whistleblower is a retired U.S. Navy Seal who was first interviewed by Howe on July 19, 2018. He used the pseudonym Spartan 1 in Howe’s YouTube video where his face is shadowed out and his voice is altered to protect his identity. Howe says that she personally vetted Spartan 1, who provided ample documentation to substantiate his military career.
Previously, Howe has released the testimony of another military whistleblower, Brian, who was a Navy flight engineer who had flown numerous support missions with the Antarctic Development Squadron from 1983 to 1997. He witnessed a number of anomalies pointing to hidden facilities or bases located deep under the Antarctic ice sheets. He says he witnessed silver flying discs over the Transantarctic Mountains, not all that far, as Howe pointed out, from where the Navy Seal had conducted his mission.
The Navy Seal says that ground penetrating radar had discovered the structure which was an eight-sided octagon, as Howe elaborated:
In 2003, a U.S. Navy Seal Special Operation team traveled to Antarctica to investigate a perfectly geometric 8-sided octagon structure discovered by ground penetrating radar near Beardmore Glacier, about 93 miles from the American McMurdo Station.
Another previous team of engineers and scientists had dug out the top layer of one octagon made of a pure black substance that was built on top of two more black octagonal structures that went down deep into the 2-mile-thick ice.
In the video the Navy Seal (aka Spartan 1) described the launch of his mission from an aircraft carrier voyaging near West Antarctica’s Ross Sea. He was taken by helicopter to McMurdo station, the largest U.S. base in Antarctica, and then taken by ground transport to the structure’s location.
Spartan 1 described entering a doorway approximately 50 feet under the ice. He estimated the walls of the structure as about 18 to 30 feet thick (6-10 meters) and the ceiling height at around 22-28 feet (7-9 meters). He said that the walls, ceiling and floor were made of a black basalt material that looked like shiny black marble.
The interior was heated to around 68-72 degrees Fahrenheit (20-22 Celsius), and was also lighted by a lime green source projected from the ceiling and floor. He did not see any heating or lighting equipment, which added to the mystery of the buried structure.
Only part of the structure, he stated, has been uncovered so far by the archeological teams, with the rest buried under the ice and extending far below. Ground penetrating radar had shown the structure to be an Octagon in shape, and covering an area of 62 acres (about 0.5 square kilometers).
Spartan 1 described the walls and doors as being covered by hieroglyphs that were about eight inches (20 cm) high and about two inches (5 cm) deep. The hieroglyphs were neither Egyptian nor Mayan, but appeared similar to both in terms of depicting animals and other strange symbols.

Significantly, one of the symbols was very similar to the Black Sun image used by the Nazi SS, who had a large version of it built on the floor of their headquarters at Wewelsburg Castle. The Black Sun image continues to be banned in Germany under their Nazi propaganda law. Howe said future episodes featuring Spartan 1 will return to the Black Sun symbol.

Spartan 1 explained that part of his mission was to transport scientists who would document the buried structure and the hieroglyphic symbols, by taking photos and making drawings. He said that his team had to leave one of the scientists behind who insisted that more time was needed to do a proper inventory of what was discovered.
Spartan 1 was told and believed that the structure had been built by a human looking group of extraterrestrials, who were involved in the genetic engineering of humanity.
Spartan 1’s testimony is very significant since it provides a rare eyewitness account of what is actually inside one of the buried structures whose age stretches back into antiquity. Howe’s previous Antarctica eyewitness, Brian, did not actually get to see or go inside one of the artifacts. The closest he got was when he saw a large hole going deep inside the South Pole, while flying overhead through restricted airspace.
To date, only two other whistleblowers/insiders have come forward to share their accounts of being taken inside or witnessing the ancient artifacts buried deep under Antarctica’s ice sheets. These are Corey Goode and Pete Peterson who both say they witnessed some of the buried artifacts during their respective visits there.
Goode claims to have been taken to Antarctica in early 2016 and 2017, where he saw secret bases and the remains of an ancient civilization buried deep below the ice sheets. He says he witnessed some bodies of human alien hybrids who were part of the genetic experiments conducted by a tall human looking extraterrestrial race thousands of years ago. He described three very large motherships buried under the ice that were used to start a global civilization with Antarctica as a hub.
Peterson says that he was taken to Antarctica during classified missions where he was tasked with the job of understanding the advanced technologies found near three motherships, one or more of which he witnessed during his missions. Peterson’s testimony corroborates Goode’s account of an ancient extraterrestrial base that was used as a hub for a global civilization.
This raises some intriguing questions. Was the Black Sun symbol a pictorial representation of an ancient global civilization where the South Pole was the hub with spirals going out to its distant colonies? In the book, Antarctica’s Hidden History, I present evidence that German nationalists using the black sun symbol established a colony in Antarctica, where they built spacecraft for deep space colonization.
According to Howe’s analysis, the structure witnessed by Spartan 1 dates as far back as 33 million years, which is the general date conventional geologists give for when Antarctica was last ice free. In Antarctica’s Hidden History, contrary evidence is presented that Antarctica was ice free as recently as 11,700 years ago, which is the approximate date for the destruction of Atlantis according to Plato. This raises the question, “how old are the ruins being currently discovered in Antarctica?”
Spartan 1’s independent testimony corroborates important elements of what Goode and Peterson described, and what others claim lies hidden under the frozen continent. As more of Spartan 1’s testimony is released through Howe’s video series, we may get important answers to questions about what lies hidden deep below the Antarctic ice sheets
A team of researchers have reverted the beak structure of a chicken embryo back to its ancestral state—a time when dinosaurs roamed the land with snouts instead.
"The beak is a crucial part of the avian feeding apparatus, and is the component of the avian skeleton that has perhaps diversified most extensively and most radically—consider flamingos, parrots, hawks, pelicans, and hummingbirds, among others," Bhart-Anjan S. Bhullar, lead author of the study published in the journal Evolution, explained. "Yet little work has been done on what exactly a beak is, anatomically, and how it got that way either evolutionarily or developmentally."
There are two different genes that a developing embryo needs in order to construct a bird skull with a beak. The team decided to see what happened when they repressed those genes. To do this, they used small-molecule inhibitors to block the beak genes. The effects were shocking.
The beak structure of the chicken embryo returned to its ancestral anatomy, along with the palatine bone on the roof of the mouth. The skull of the chicken embryo developed a reptilian 'snout' instead of a beak. Two bones manifested themselves in this snout-like structure, which is reminiscent of the nose of a modern-day alligator. "This was unexpected and demonstrates the way in which a single, simple developmental mechanism can have wide-ranging and unexpected effects," Bhullar said.

The chickens didn't actually develop snouts, perse, but changes to the actual embryo are noticeable: There is a little flap of skin covering the gene-altered chicken-embryos' would-be beaks.
It must be noted that the genetically altered embryos were never hatched. "Our goal here was to understand the molecular underpinnings of an important evolutionary transition, not to create a 'dino-chicken' simply for the sake of it," said Bhullar.
We are still far from identifying the genetic changes that are responsible for nature's first beaks, but identifying the genes involved is a great start. The team won't be building a zoo of little dino-chickens anytime soon. The purpose of this experiment was to examine the evolutionary pathways on a molecular level, not create a real-life Jurassic Park.
The experts are telling us that the Midwest could experience the coldest weather that it has ever seen this week. Wind chill temperatures of -40 and -50 degrees will be common throughout the region, and it is being projected that some spots will actually get hit by wind chill temperatures of up to -60 degrees. A shift in the polar vortex is being blamed for this life-threatening weather, and we are being told to expect the coldest temperatures to arrive on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. But all-time records are already being set. For example, according to Accuweather the temperature in the city of International Falls, Minnesota hit 45 below zero on Monday morning…
The coldest weather in years will put millions of people and animals throughout the midwestern United States at risk for hypothermia and frostbite to occur in minutes during the final days of January.
The deep freeze continued across the Upper Midwest on Sunday with temperatures plummeting well below zero in the morning. The low of 45 below zero F in International Falls, Minnesota, shattered the day’s record of 36 below zero F from 1966.

As the week progresses, bitterly cold temperatures will be accompanied by heavy snow and strong winds across the Midwest. The polar jet stream has weakened, and as a result the polar vortex will “dip into parts of North America”…
The wintry onslaught will be driven by the Northern Hemisphere’s polar vortex, the pocket of cold air sitting atop the North Pole. When temperatures rise in the Arctic, the polar jet stream — the torrent of westerly winds that hold the polar vortex in place — can weaken and dip into parts of North America.
“Occasionally this ring of winds deforms or even splits, which allows the cold air to spill southward over mid latitudes — this is exactly what’s happening now,” said Jennifer Francis, a senior research scientist with Woods Hole Research Center in Massachusetts, in an email. “It just so happens that the lobe of cold air is located over central North America, with Chicago in the crosshairs.”
This is an extremely dangerous situation, and we will probably read about some people that underestimate the danger and end up dead.
According to weather.com, the air will be so cold that it “could lead to frostbite on exposed skin in a matter of minutes”…
This bitter cold will be accompanied by strong winds at times Tuesday through Thursday, leading to life-threatening wind chills in the Midwest that could lead to frostbite on exposed skin in a matter of minutes. A large swath of the Midwest will have wind chills in the 30s, 40s and 50s below zero by Wednesday. A few spots in Minnesota and eastern North Dakota may see wind chills in the 60s below zero.
Unless you absolutely must go out for some reason, if you live in the Midwest you should stay inside until temperatures begin to warm up again.

After seeing a high around 34 on Monday at O’Hare International Airport, temperatures will drop to near zero before the end of the day, according to the National Weather Service. By Tuesday night, temperatures are expected to take another plunge, to 23 below zero, flirting with Chicago’s coldest temperature ever: minus 27 on Jan. 20, 1985.
Temperatures are forecast to inch up to a daytime high of about minus 14 on Wednesday — the first subzero high temperature in five years and the coldest winter high ever recorded in Chicago — before dipping, again, to about minus 21 overnight. The coldest daytime high in Chicago was minus 11 on Christmas Eve 1983.

Chicago police are reporting gunpoint robberies targeting people wearing pricey Canada Goose jackets as temperatures plunge in the city.
Over the past two weeks, police say there’s been a spate of the thefts in which people wearing the luxury coats have been targeted and forced to give up the jackets. The coats can cost upward of $1,000 and are often seen on celebrities.
Six people had their Canada Goose coats stolen last week and two more were targeted Wednesday.

“GET SOME, SPACE COMMIES!”
Certainly not the average schmoes like you and me. Whether or not we’re actually standing on the precipice of a shooting war in space is still up in the air, but one thing is certain: the U.S. Air Force is hard at work preparing for it. Since 2010, the Air Force has been testing its secretive X-37B space plane in orbit above the Earth, and nobody really knows what it’s been doing up there. Well, someone knows, but not us average schmoes. Schmoes never know the good stuff.
The X-37B has once again reached another milestone this week, surpassing 500 days in continuous flight above the Earth. The X-37B is operated by the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office and controlled by the 3rd Space Experimentation Squadron at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado. Despite the numerous milestones and records the super-secret spacecraft has chalked up, Air Force officials are still tight-lipped about its true purpose. Interestingly enough, the craft was also caught on camera yesterday; it’s quite a spooky sight as it zooms quickly by stars in the background. What’s the X-37B doing up there?
The X-37B is essentially hiding in plain sight.
When the craft was first put into orbit in 2010, officials with the USAF assured everyone the X-37B has no offensive capabilities and was there to support “technology risk reduction, experimentation and operational concept development.” It’s long been suspected that the craft has something to do with surveillance, tracking spy satellites, or is even a type of reusable spy “satellite” itself, one which can land and be serviced when needed. Could it be that whatever the craft is spying on or doing up there is so sensitive that the Air Force can’t risk transmitting data back to Earth at all, hence why it must land every once in a while?
Who knows. Everything is pure speculation at this point. It’s also unknown when the X-37B might come back down to Earth. Will we ever know what this secretive craft is up to?

As the United States enters into the second month of a government shutdown that began on December 22, 2018, federal employee shortages are becoming an increasing problem. On the morning of January 25, 2019, the FAA announced that due to air traffic control staffing shortages along the east coast, they werehalting flightsinto New York City's LaGuardia Airport. It's a potent reminder that while pilots and flight attendants are key to making air travel safe, air traffic controllers—though less-visible—are just as essential in getting you from Point A to Point B.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) employs more than14,000of them tochoreographthe flow of airplanes on the ground and in the sky, whether that means using radar and other tools to direct aircraft at take off, communicating with pilots about flight paths and weather, or helping pilots land their planes safely. Take a look at these secrets of air traffic controllers to learn about their unique lingo, high degree of job stress, and occasional UFO sighting.
1. MANY OF THEM DON'T WORK AT AIRPORTS.
When you imagine an air traffic controller, you probably envision someone working in a tall glass tower at an airport. However, many controllers toil at either a Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facility or at a route center, which may be located far away from an airport.
According to air traffic controller Chris Solomon, who controls planes for the military, controllers in each of the three types of facilities have different responsibilities. “The typical tower controllers get the planes from the gate to the runway and then airborne to within five or so miles of an airport. The aircraft then becomes under the control of the approach controllers [TRACON],” he told the website Art of Manliness.
These TRACON controllers usually control the plane during its ascent and descent from the airport. When aircraft reach an altitude above 18,000 feet, the route center controller takes over, using radar to guide aircraft at cruising altitudes until the plane begins its descent. Then the approach controller takes the reins, followed by a tower controller who guides the plane’s landing.
2. AGE IS A MAJOR FACTOR.
Some air traffic controllers begin their careers in the military, while others apply to the FAA’s Air Traffic Control Academy. But no matter how they enter the profession, they must have good vision, a sharp mind, and the ability to think quickly and clearly under pressure. The FAA requires that applicants be 30 years old or younger when they apply to the job, and controllers must retire at age 56, before most of them experience any age-related mental decline.
3. THEY HAVE THEIR OWN LINGO.
Pilots and air traffic controllers around the world must speak English to communicate (it's required by the International Civil Aviation Organization), but they also have their own flight-related language. This phonetic alphabetic and numerical system, which replaces letters (A to Z) and numbers (zero to nine) with code words, minimizes confusion and misunderstandings between air traffic controllers and pilots.
For example, controllers say “bravo” instead of the letter “B,” “Charlie” instead of the letter “C,” and “niner” instead of the number “nine.” (Theories explaining the origin of the code word “niner” differ, but aircraft enthusiasts speculate that the extra syllable differentiates it from the German word for “no” or distinguishes it from the pronunciation of the number “five.”) Air traffic controllers also have their own slang and, for instance, use the phrase “souls on board” to refer to the number of people on a plane.
The phonetic system is spelled out in detail in the FAA Order 7110.65 manual [PDF], along with other key code words, phrases, and procedures. Controllers call the manual their "bible," study it during training, and review it regularly to keep apprised of any updates and additions.
4. PILOTS WITH HEAVY ACCENTS CAN FRUSTRATE THEM.
Although English is the official language of aviation, not all pilots speak it well. Air traffic controller Brandon Miller, who works for Potomac Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) in northern Virginia, tells Mental Floss that it can be difficult to communicate with foreign pilots. “However, we are in the business of communication,” he says, explaining that learning to solve potential communication issues is part of their training. When talking to a pilot who has a heavy accent, controllers may speak more slowly, enunciate words more dramatically, and try to avoid changing routes as much as possible.
Stephen, an air traffic controller with the FAA, echoes Miller’s point. “We mainly just bitch amongst ourselves, say things very slowly, and do the best we can” when dealing with pilots who have heavy accents, he wroteon Reddit.
5. THEY ALTERNATE BETWEEN STRESS AND BOREDOM.
Because they’re responsible for thousands of lives 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most air traffic controllers experience a high level of job-related stress. “We often miss birthdays, we work on holidays and weekends, and often operate on alternative sleep cycles,” Miller explains. Staying focused is essential, especially during times of busy traffic and bad weather, so most air traffic controllers take a break every hour or two, depending on the rules at their facility.
According to Miller, the diversity of tasks in his work day keeps his job challenging. At any given time, he may be directing Air Force One or other VIPs (from our country or a foreign one), sequencing commercial passenger jets into a variety of airports in the Washington, D.C. area, assisting police or paramedic helicopters, expediting military fighters and military transport planes, or looking for suspicious aircraft in the Washington, D.C. Special Flight Rules Area.
On the other hand, graveyard shifts and periods with less traffic can be tedious and dull. “Hours and hours of boredom combined with moments of sheer terror, as we like to say,” Stephen told Reddit. “But if you like the challenge and want to be where the action is, it's a great job!”
6.THEY'RE PROBABLY OVERWORKED.
In a 2011 article for The Daily Beast, Bob Richards, who worked as an air traffic controller at Chicago O’Hare International Airport for more than two decades, described his job as “thrilling, fulfilling, and utterly exhausting.” Richards noted that four of his coworkers died of sudden cardiac death, two died of pancreatic cancer, and many others suffered from stress-related gastrointestinal illnesses. In his early 40s, Richards himself suffered from atrial fibrillation, which eventually progressed into congestive heart failure.
A secret study conducted by NASA in 2011 found that almost one-fifth of controllers made significant errors, partly due to chronic fatigue caused by their lack of sleep and busy shift schedules. To combat fatigue and address controllers who were allegedly asleep on the job, the FAA issued a series of new rules that increase the mandatory time between controllers’ shifts.
7. UFO SIGHTINGS DEFINITELY HAPPEN.
During the course of their careers, most air traffic controllers have personally spotted (or have a coworker who has spotted) some sort of unidentified flying object. UFO sightings are more common at night, when air traffic controllers may see an unexplained blinking light that doesn’t appear to be coming from an aircraft. But strange sightings aren't necessarily alien life forms—radar is so sensitive that it may pick up items such as clouds, a flock of birds, or even a large truck on the ground.
8. ROBOTS WON'T BE REPLACING THEM.
Although air traffic controllers rely on radar and other technology to do their jobs, they’re not in danger of technology replacing them any time soon. With so many lives at stake, air traffic control will likely always require humans to ensure that automated systems function properly and technology doesn’t malfunction. And controllers enjoy the sense of satisfaction that comes with using their knowledge and skills to help passengers get from point A to point B safely. “There is a great amount of pride that my coworkers and I take knowing that safety of air traffic control is the last thing on passengers' minds when they get buckled in the airplane,” Miller says.
We just have to accept it. We’ve been dragged into the future, despite however hard we kicked and screamed. Robots are real, and they’re basically indistinguishable from the robots of our fictions. If you’re worried about these metal abominations coming to take everything you love, and would like nothing more than to go all John Connors and reduce the lot of them to slag, you’re very much not alone, and researchers are quite concerned.
In a January 19th New York Timesarticle titled “Why Do We Hurt Robots?,” Jonah Bromwich cites a number of cases where people “brutally assaulted” robots. Poor, innocent “security robots” battered and beaten. Gangs of filthy meatbags attacking driverless cars. Three teenagers in Japan beating a robot “with all their might.” A Moscow man bludgeoning a “teaching robot” with a baseball bat as it pleaded for help. People, hilariously and ill-advisedly, crashing their own driverless cars on purpose (I respect the commitment to the fight, but those things are expensive). Another security robot was—just fight back the tears; tears can come later—wrapped in a tarp and covered in barbecue sauce. Humans are such horrible creatures that we manage to hurt things that don’t even have consciousness, let alone pain receptors.
Don’t look at me like that.
And thus, in keeping with the new cultural norm of using words without any consideration for what they mean, the term “robot abuse” was born.
Destroying robots is wrong. For the same reason that destroying someone else’s car, toaster, musical instrument, house, or computer is wrong. It’s property destruction. However hilarious covering a security robot in barbecue sauce is, a lot of money and time went into creating that machine. But that’s all it is, a machine. Yet we all anthropomorphize robots, both those scared of a robot takeover and those so deeply entrenched in robotics that they see property destruction as abuse.
Cognitive neuroscientist Agnieszka Wykowska, a researcher at the Italian Institute of Technology and the editor in chief of the International Journal of Social Robotics thinks that our violence towards robots stems from the atavistic demons responsible for our tribalism and ostracization of the other. She says:
“You have an agent, the robot, that is in a different category than humans. So you probably very easily engage in this psychological mechanism of social ostracism because it’s an out-group member. That’s something to discuss: the dehumanization of robots even though they’re not humans.”
There’s a lot wrong with this statement. One: you can’t dehumanize something that isn’t human. Two: robots are not agents. They can only do what they are programmed to do. They literally have no agency.
Asked about potential solutions to this “disturbing” problem, Ms. Wykowska offers a story about the savagery a colleague witnessed a kindergarten class express towards a robot:
“Kids have this tendency of being very brutal to the robot, they would kick the robot, they would be cruel to it, they would be really not nice.
“That went on until the point that the caregiver started giving names to the robots. So the robots suddenly were not just robots but Andy, Joe and Sally. At that moment, the brutal behavior stopped. So, its very interesting because again its sort of like giving a name to the robot immediately puts it a little closer to the in-group.”
So the solution is to teach kids that machines are people? Fantastic. What if, and I know this might sound simple, ignorant, or possibly even on-the-wrong-side-of-history, but what if we don’t want machines as part of the in-group? What if assigning humanity to a tool cheapens and debases our own self-awareness and understanding of what it means to be conscious?
I’m not going.
Let me just step up on this here soapbox for a minute. The whole problem is this shoving the future on us whether we want it or not. The Times article cites a Brown University and M.I.T. study that showed adding a robot to a workforce reduced the number of employed humans by six. In the very near future we will have armed security robots. We know these machines are coming, we know they’re changing the world, and we know it’s unavoidable. We need to treat them like the tools they are, not like people. We need, more than anything, to learn to celebrate humanity and all conscious non-humans (if I ever see a robot messing with an elephant, that’s going to be one broken robot), not blur the lines between conscious creatures and machines. Forcing people to deny a basic truth—that machines aren’t people—will only make people angrier in the short term, and in the long term will only further the mechanization and dehumanization of the world at large.

Scientists have previously revealed that, should an earthquake occur, it could take less than two weeks before a catastrophic reaction event. Now, researchers are plotting the safest evacuation in case of an emergency.

Martin went on to describe how, even after surviving the initial blow, humans around the world could fall victim to a volcanic winter.
He detailed: “Much like a nuclear winter, a volcanic winter is when there’s enough ash in the atmosphere to cool down the planet by one or two degrees.
“Two degrees doesn’t sound like much, but this shift in temperature could cause the deaths of Billions of people.
“Those deaths would not be caused by ash filled lungs but would be caused by starvation as the volcanic winter causes the decimation of agricultural crops around the globe.”
Fans of actual athletic competitions have been running away from the Summer Olympics since the televised events have been dominated by gymnastics, swimming and the opening and closing ceremonies. Fans of track-and-field events have almost no reason to watch, especially if they’re hoping to see the throwing events — shot put, discus, hammer and javelin. Those events never make it to the coverage unless someone is hit by one of the airborne objects … especially a javelin. That’s too bad, because, outside of running and swimming, this spear-throwing event is probably one of the oldest, dating back far beyond the ancient Olympic games. In fact, a new study suggests the first prehistoric javelin competition may have been between a Homo sapien and … a Neanderthal! Who won? Did he get a rock-on-a-rope to hang around his neck?
“While the earliest weapons are often considered to be hand-held and consequently short-ranged, the subsequent appearance of distance weapons is a crucial development. Projectiles are seen as an improvement over contact weapons, and are considered by some to have originated only with our own species in the Middle Stone Age and Upper Palaeolithic.”
The study, “External ballistics of Pleistocene hand-thrown spears: experimental performance data and implications for human evolution,” published recently in Scientific Reports, begins with what researchers have long assumed – that humans came up with the idea of throwing sharp sticks instead of just running with them and putting their eyes out. The oldest known spears are the Schöningen spears, eight wooden throwing spears from the Palaeolithic Age that were found amongst thousands of animal bones in Schöningen, Germany. That makes them about 400,000 years old, which predates the Neanderthals. Dr. Annemieke Milks (UCL Institute of Archaeology), the study leader, wondered if the Neanderthals, besides having sex with humans, shared any other kinds of spearing.

To find out, the researchers gave replicas of the Schöningen spears to six modern javelin throwers (who were probably grateful for the workout). Modern javelins are made of metal and are between 2.6 and 2.7 m (8 ft 6 in and 8 ft 10 in) in length and 800 g (28 oz) in weight. The replicas were made by hand from Norwegian spruce trees and weighed between 760 g and 800 g – what the Schöningen spears were believed to have weighed. The points were sharpened with stone tools, keeping the design as close to the original as possible.

How did the athletes do with the Schöningen spears? They were able to hit targets up to 20 meters away with sufficient velocity and force that they would have penetrated the hide and body of a large animal. That wouldn’t have won an Olympic medal — the first Olympic javelin record was set by Sweden’s Eric Lemming, who competed from 1900 to 1912, with a throw of 62.32 meters or 204.5 feet. However, he didn’t have to aim his spear at a running beast, which would have been an interesting, albeit gruesome, event. Nonetheless, the Neanderthal spear throwers were winners too.
“The results show that distance hunting was likely within the repertoire of hunting strategies of Neanderthals, and the resulting behavioural flexibility closely mirrors that of our own species.”
Winners, yes. But perhaps this ability made them losers in a way. Study co-author Dr. Matt Pope, University College London, had this observation in Science Daily:
“The emergence of weaponry, technology designed to kill, is a critical but poorly established threshold in human evolution. We have forever relied on tools and have extended our capabilities through technical innovation. Understanding when we first developed the capabilities to kill at distance is therefore a dark, but important moment in our story.”
With every new discovery, we find out that we share more with the Neanderthals than we once thought.

In the long history of human warfare, we have constantly tried to one up each other on the battlefield, devising new technology, tactics, and weaponry to give ourselves the edge. In this sense it seems only natural that at some point we should turn to the vast wealth of supposed psychic poers lying within the human mind and try to use them to our military advantage, and this was, and perhaps still is, done on a surprisingly large scale within the American military and intelligence agencies. Here we have tales of psychic soldiers, men who stare at goats, and the American Jedi soldiers.
One of the most famous psychic projects pursued by the U.S. military was a program that sought to delve into tapping into a wide variety of mental powers in for military purposes, which was eventually called Project Stargate. Originally started in 1978 at Fort Meade, Maryland, it was the brainchild of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and a California company called SRI International, and its scope would become wide beyond what enyone could have expected. The idea was simply to try and develop psychic powers for use in military operations, initially focusing on remote viewing, wherein faraway objects and places can be seen by the psychic, but soon branching out to clairvoyance, manipulating computer systems with the mind, and even supposedly powers straight from a movie, such as levitation, invisibility, walking through walls, or killing with the power of the mind.
It was largely overseen by the esteemed general and self-professed psychic General Albert Stubblebine III, and is a project popularized by the 2009 Hollywood blockbuster The Men Who Stare At Goats, starring George Clooney and Ewan McGregor, itself based on the 2004 book of the same name by journalist Jon Ronsonthe, the title of which refers to having psychics stare at goats or other animals and try to physically affect them with their thoughts. As absurd as it may sound, there were indeed many living creatures subjected to these sorts of experiments in an effort to create psychic assassins, and there were allegedly successes at times and even supposed real research that that was said to conclusively prove that negative mental energy could be focused upon mould to inhibit its growth, which is useful for the military? I suppose? Even the famed psychic and spoon bender extraordinaire Uri Geller was allegedly brought into the fold and asked to kill a pig with his mind for the military, which he says he refused to do, not because he couldn’t, mind you, but because he thought it was unethical. Geller would say of this:
They asked me to kill the poor creature using thought alone. I cannot tell you how shocked I was. I love animals. My powers cannot be used to harm. In those days, I was young and naive, but in that moment I realised who I’d become associated with. I catapulted myself out of that room and left the program.
While this might all sound like pure fantasy, it was bizarrely a totally real program that expanded quite rapidly. The Cold War in particular saw some in the American military war machine terrified that the nefarious Soviets were pursuing psychic warfare, spying on them, influencing them, or even trying to disarm nuclear weapons with the power of the mind, and efforts to counteract this were stepped up. As a result, the project began to give birth to other clandestine offshoot programs and sister programs, all with colorful code names right out of a comic book that these sorts of thing were known for, such as GONDOLA WISH, GRILL FLAME, CENTER LANE, SUN STREAK, and MK ULTRA, and all devoted to different areas of psychic phenomena. It was all very hush hush, and funded secretly, but inevitably word leaked out about these covert operations. It might sound ludicrous that the military would pour so much time and money into all of this, but it was apparently all taken very seriously, and one remote viewer and Special Forces Sergeant Glenn Wheaton has said of such secret programs:
You have to understand that these ideas were not considered wacky. They were seen as the next military frontier. We needed to know whether it was possible to use paranormal forces for military ends. We also needed to know how to protect ourselves should they be used against us.
One of these projects was called Project Jedi, named after the Jedi of the Star Wars films, and which sought to focus on creating soldiers who could use their mental powers not for merely spying, but for actively offensive purposes and to increase human performance on the battlefield. The program first started to come together in the late 1970s and early 80s, and was also known by such titles as the “Ultimate Warrior Training Program,” “The Jedi Warrior Training Program,” and the “Earth’s First Battalion,” and which was designed specifically for use by elite Special Forces and envisioned as potentially revolutionizing warfare.
One area that was developed towards these ends was to utilize what was called by them “Biocybernaut training combined technologies of biofeedback, neurofeedback, cyberphysiology, and contemplative inner methods of mastery drawn from the vast array of contemplative science traditions” to supposedly hone soldiers’ perceptions and mastery over their minds and bodies. This was allegedly used to sharpen the marksmanship of the soldiers to nearly superhuman levels of ability, and it was claimed that soldiers trained with these methods were better shots in less than half the training time of conventional methods, and that they could even reach a level where they could shoot accurately when blindfolded. These methods could also supposedly be used to increase the speed of mastery of foreign languages, as well as to consciously manipulate brain chemicals such as endorphins for the purpose of enhancing physical prowess. They were also apparently trained to be able to control numerous bodily functions such as blood flow, muscle tension, healing rate, blood pressure, and physiological reactions to stress, as well as turn off pain and also how to “synchronize their brainwaves.”
A great deal of this training was also focused on increasingly deep meditation exercises and martial arts skills. One of the main guys they had working on this in the early stages of the program was instructor Mike Echanis, who was an almost cult-like figure of the martial arts world at the time and by many accounts was able to utilize many of these mental powers to improve his fighting abilities, with one account saying of one training exercise:
The students couldn’t see him. It wasn’t that he was actually invisible, but he could blend in, using both camouflage and mental trickery, that they couldn’t spot him. He was able to adapt and blend into the environment so well that those looking down into the pit just could not see him. A trainee would jump into the pit, and suddenly Echanis would come out of nowhere and be upon him, and the hand-to-hand combat would ensue. The students were certain to endure a severe beating.
Echanis was also said to have the ability to kill animals with the power of his mind alone. Indeed, according Wheaton this was sometimes spectacularly successful, such as one episode in which he personally witnessed the martial artist kill one of the animals in this way, of which he says:
Michael focused on the goat pretty intensely. It started to bray like a donkey or horse. It dropped down to its forelegs; blood began to drip from its nose. About 20 to 30 seconds later red suds began to froth from the goat’s mouth. The goat lost its equilibrium and passed away in a fit.
There was also a martial arts instructor with the program named Guy Savelli, who claimed to have vast knowledge of ancient secret techniques such as the death touch, as well as “reflex-reaction, touch sensitivity, concepts of power and invisibility, and mind-striking techniques.” Interestingly, his “mind striking” powers were purportedly so advanced that he was able to throw grown men across the room, as well as kill small animals such as hamsters with a thought, earning him the nickname “Hamster Killer.” Folks you can’t make this stuff up, it writes itself. Another big hitter in the program was Dr. John Alexander, former commander of Special Forces in Vietnam and psychic, of which his biography says:
As part of his official military duties, he became involved in studying psychic phenomena and attempting to understand what the Soviet Union was doing in this area. He learned how to teach psychokinesis, involved professional magicians in the process, and then brought these skills to many high-level officers. His studies also covered remote viewing and extensive work in Neuro-linguistic Programming. These techniques were applied to accelerating learning and skill acquisition.
Project Jedi only lasted 6 months before it was sort of closed down, but it still adds to the wider lore of Project Stargate, of which it was a part. The whole bonkers program was passed off to the CIA and eventually downsized and eventually terminated in 1995, with the CIA declassifying the documents and claiming that none of the projects ever saw any real verifiable promise for actual intelligence or battlefield work, and that it was a waste of resources that could be spent elsewhere. However, of course there is the opinion that programs such as Project Stargate and others like it never really stopped but were rather buried deep away from the public eye. Such programs are claimed to have actually seen plenty of military action, such as pervasive rumors that U.S. remote viewers were instrumental in locating and bringing down the terrorist Osama Bin Laden. is this true and is the military still actively engaged in using psychic powers for warfare? Who knows?
So here we have psychic warriors, real Jedi fighters, and the channeling of the power of the human mind into military capacities. Is there anything to any of this? While it is certainly true that the U.S. government did pursue these avenues of research and did try to weaponize psychic powers, how successful were they really, and does any of this still go on? Like any good conspiracy there is probably no way to convince anyone either way, and the debate and speculation will probably rage on.
Across America meteorologists frequently see anomalous formations showing up on radar that have no connection to trending weather patterns. In some cases these unnatural formations are found to have been caused by emissions from power plants which can cause weather changes including several inches of snow.

In 2018 we reported on a collection of video clips of local meteorologists reporting on supposed chaff spraying by military aircraft. Military chaff is a particulate substance made primarily of aluminum and aluminum coated fiber glass which is sprayed into the sky to jam enemy radar and communications equipment. Aluminum is a substance that is widely known to be harmful to human and animal health when ingested, but these types of overhead exercises are apparently very common.
“Chaff consists of small fibers that reflect radar signals and, when dispensed in large quantities from aircraft, form a cloud that temporarily hides the aircraft from radar detection. The two major types of military chaff in use are aluminum foil and aluminum-coated glass fibers. The aluminum foil-type is no longer manufactured, although it may still be in use.” [Source]
The most recent incidents of such mystery aerosol formations over populated U.S. areas is from December, in which meteorologists from Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky all reported seeing unusual lines of formations. After quite a mystery, it was eventually agreed upon that this particular incident involved C-130 aircraft spraying chaff in the skies.

Shortly after the recent incidents in December, another similar event occurred, however, local meteorologists and television crews have not been able to find a suitable explanation. Another event occured shortly thereafter off the coast of southern Florida and over Portland, Maine.

But unlike here, no concrete explanation sprang forth.
According to The War Zone, the one Maine Air National Guard flying unit doesn’t have any planes equipped to release chaff. And it’s not like a plane from a different base would jet all the way to Maine just to spew chaff.
That same day, strange radar shapes appeared over the Florida Keys, too. Again, the NWS guessed it was chaff – Florida is apparently rife with military exercises – but that hypothesis was never confirmed.” [Source]

Of note is the fact that the military, NASA and certainly other organs of the Federal government are actively engaged in spraying materials into skies over America, without the consent of we the people living below. And this practice seems to be occurring with greater frequency as we enter the age of open bioengineering, which was oddly considered to be a conspiracy theory until mainstream news organizations began in recent years to report on the pressing need for solar radiation management in order to curb global warming.

Instrumenten Met behulp van warm water boorden onderzoekers in de Rutford Ice Stream een 2152 meter diep gat dat uitkomt op onder het ijs gelegen sedimenten. Direct daarna lieten de onderzoekers een breed scala aan instrumenten in het gat zakken, waarmee onder meer de temperatuur van het ijs en vervormingen in het ijs gemeten konden worden.

Hard to say, but a recent spate of mysterious illnesses on flights sure makes it seem like something weird is going on aboard airliners lately, whether or not it’s related to NASA’s 2017 warnings about cosmic radiation. On January 2, multiple passengers aboard Frontier Airlines Flight 1397 flight from Cleveland, Ohio to Tampa, Florida fell ill with a mysterious illness. Dozens of passengers suddenly became nauseated and many of them vomited, prompting the plane to land early. The sick passengers were moved to the front of the plane for triage while the rest had to be moved to the rear of the aircraft where they waited to deplane for 90 minutes.
Good thing those tiny paper bags were there among the germ-infested magazines.
It’s still unclear what caused the passengers of Flight 1397 to fall ill, but Frontier Airlines believe it may have something to do with a water fountain at the airport. Officials from the City of Cleveland stated they would conduct an investigation, but there has been no update in the weeks that followed.
Just this week, a Dubai-bound Ural Airlines aircraft which departed from Moscow, Russia had to make an emergency landing after many passengers all fell ill simultaneously. About 90 minutes into the flight, many passengers suddenly found it difficult to breathe and became nauseated. Some of those who fell ill were reported to have “greatly dilated pupils.”
Nausea is a symptom of radiation poisoning – and just about every other form of poisoning. Airline cabins and noxious fumes go hand-in-hand sometimes.
One passenger says that as more and more people fell ill, a sense of dread filled the cabin:
I was woken up by a young woman screaming for assistance. She yelled and screamed ‘Help, help!’ because her husband felt ill. He was feeling really bad. He was suffocating and couldn’t breathe in. His face went the colour green — then a panic swept through the plane.
Similar to the Frontier Flight 1397 incident, this one currently remains unexplained. Mid-flight illnesses are nothing new, and there are plenty of things aboard a modern airliner that could make passengers ill including the stink of other passengers’ rotting flesh. Still, the sudden uptick in mid-flight illnesses coincides with recent discoveries of more and more anomalies in the Earth’s magnetic field. Could NASA’s warning about cosmic radiation finally be coming true?

Metamaterials, in this context defined as pieces of UFOs, debris, implants or other exotic items have been a huge topic since they were referenced in the New York Times piece on December 16th, 2017 and long before that, as well. A lot of work has been done behind the scenes regarding these materials. Data and information will be coming to light via To the Stars Academy’s ADAM Research Project and most likely other groups. Some of the work has been described in Dr. Diana Walsh Pasulka’s amazing book, “American Cosmic: UFOs Religion, Technology.” I can’t say for sure, but I have a hunch that behind the scenes, conclusions have been made about how these authentic Metamaterials were constructed in zero or microgravity and most likely not manufactured on Earth.
Mr. George Knapp has been reporting on this for years. As a primer, here is one of his heavy hitting reports on the subject.
