In 2006, former Arizona governor Fife Symington admitted to being a witness to Arizona’s most famous UFO sighting, and that he believed it to be of extraterrestrial origins. His statements made worldwide news. In association with the celebration of the 20^th anniversary of the Phoenix Lights UFO event, James Fox, the documentarian that first obtained Symington’s confession shared never before seen footage from the interview during his presentation at the 2016 International UFO Congress. Now, with Fox’s permission, we present the interview here for our readers.

In the newly released footage, Symington says he believes the UFO sighting was escalated up the chain of command.

“Issues like this go up the chain of command all the way to the Pentagon,” explains Symington. “We called the Pentagon…I think they knew there had been sightings, but they weren’t talking about it.”

As for the official Air Force response that the UFOs were flares, Symington says that is “total bunk.”

“I have seen high altitude flares before. There is no way they were flares.”

When it comes to what flew over Phoenix in March of 1997, Symington says, “It has never been explained.”

What is now referred to as “The Phoenix Lights,” was a flap of UFO sightings on March 13, 1997. It has kept Arizona buzzing ever since. Over 1000 witnesses reportedly came forward, including former Arizona Governor Fife Symington.

Symington first admitted to seeing the object during this interview with Fox. Fox provided Symington with testimony from several witnesses who were disappointed with the way Symington dealt with the incident in 1997. Symington then admitted to Fox he had also seen the object, and he agreed it was unworldly. Fox was not expecting this response.

After the interview, news of Symington’s confession leaked and he was asked to share his experience with CNN and other news outlets.

A Great Britain witness at Gosport reported watching and videotaping three lights that at times formed a triangle low in the sky and made random movements before all disappearing from view, according to testimony in Case 81450 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness stepped outside at 10:50 p.m. on January 9, 2017, to dispose of rubbish bags in his work as a cleaner.

“I noticed three green lights at around a 30-degree angle northwest of my position,” the witness stated.“Distance and height were too difficult to estimate from my position, but after checking on Google maps there are mostly only fields in that direction. The postcode I observed from was PO13 0HR.”

The witness described the lights.

“The lights were evenly spaced in a large triangle formation with one more forward than the others when I first noticed them. They then all turned purple and started to move. You can observe in the video how they moved. I had full zoom using a phone camera so quality isn’t great, but they were all bright purple in color and didn’t change again. They seemed to move in a random manor, moving side-to-side and up and down very quickly and turning very sharply. They would pass each other to swap sides, sometimes coming back to form triangles for a few seconds before moving again.”

The witness stated that several times it looked as though one moved into another and became one light before breaking apart again.

“They disappeared below the houses several times so that I couldn’t see from my position what they were doing until the final time when I waited several minutes before giving up that they wouldn’t appear again. So whatever it was possibly landed because they didn’t appear above the houses again.”

The witness went back inside the building onto the second level to view from a higher angle and could see one light again just above the house, but it quickly disappeared downwards.

“That was the last I saw of them. They never went higher than the initial height I observed them at. There were no other aircraft I noticed in the area, although there is a small airfield behind my position. The weather was dry (although rain earlier in the day), the sky seemed clear, stars were visible overhead but none visible at the angle/height of these lights, presumably because of light pollution. When I left where I was 30 minutes later, the sky around the area where the lights were was a hazy red color. The rest of the sky in the surrounding area was black, but this area specifically was a different color. I thought this might be some kind of heavy light pollution in that direction, but according to Google maps, there are mostly just fields there, nothing that would give off unusual light pollution.”

Gosport is a town and borough on the coast of Hampshire in southern England, population 82,622. Great Britain National Director Jack Turnbull investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown. The UFO files of the U.S. Forest Service (USFS) have been declassified. There are 20 pages in the files, and although there is a dubious claim about the construction of a secret alien base and an unconvincing UFO photo, there is an interesting UFO report from U.S. Air Force personnel at a radar station in Montana.

The Forest Service UFO files were obtained via a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by John Greenewald. Greenewald runs TheBlackVault.com, a site that houses over one million declassified files obtained via FOIA requests.

Greenewald says he made the request in November, 2016 and received the files in February, 2017.

UFO Photo in Bighorn National Forest

The first report in the file is a letter and photographs from a man who says he caught something “very strange” in a photograph he took while visiting Lost Twin Lakes in Bighorn National Forest. The witness says he did not see or hear anything unusual while taking the picture, but he noticed an odd object in one of the photos when he reviewed them later. He speculates that perhaps it is a drone, but also says he did some research and did not find any drones that looked like the object in the image.

It is hard to make out what exactly the object in the image is, but the USFS files did not include a high resolution image. Greenewald says he did inquire if higher resolution images were available, but they were not.

Without better images, this blob of light and shadows could be anything, and is likely a bird in flight. Often vacation photos with weird objects that were not noted at the time of their taking turn out to be birds or bugs that look strange in photographs once they are reviewed back home.

The USFS did not include their response to the UFO photog, or if they responded at all.

UFO Sighting at Yaak Air Force Station in Kootenai National Forest

Following the UFO photos letter and was a copy of an article regarding Yaak Air Base. According to the article, Yaak Air Base was in operation from April, 1952 to July, 1960, as part of a number of stations throughout the country that served as an early warning system during the cold war in case of a potential Russian attack. The base was near Yaak, Montana, in the Kootenai National Forest.

For our purposes, the most interesting paragraph in the article is the last, and in the file provided to Greenewald, is highlighted in yellow.

It reads:

The Yaak Radar Station also had its share of mystery, on Sept. 1 , 1952, Yaak, Montana. 4:45 a.m: Two USAF enlisted men, and three men using AN/FPS-3 radar set. Report visually sighting two small, varicolored lights becoming black silhouettes at dawn, and flying erratically for one hour. The crew at the radar station saw a, “dark, cigar shaped object,” right where the radar had the UFO pinpointed. What these people saw is a mystery to this day.

This is my favorite part of the USFA UFO files. Unfortunately, no further information is provided.

Alien Base Construction in Tonto National Forest

The most sensational claim in the files, and the one picked up by silly UK tabloids, is a report of a secret government installation being constructed that has something to do with aliens. The subject of the report is “Secret govt installation being built in the Salt River Canyon area on the TNF [Tonto National Forest].”

What is scary is that this is not far from my house. However, it does make it less scary for me that I do not believe an alien base was actually built there.

Here is a report regarding the call that was taken by David of the Forest Service on the morning of December 30, 2013 regarding UFOs, aliens and one detached head.

David received a call this morning at the front desk from a male caller reporting the construction of a secret government installation upstream from the Salt River Canyon past Pinal Creek (upstream from Roosevelt Lake). Aliens and at least one detached head are involved.

Caller claims to have seen construction cranes coming out the side of the cliffs, miniature stealth planes and UFOs, aliens and people working together at the site, aliens eating people. He found a severed head and claims to have pictures of some of this stuff.

Caller reported that he is 60, not crazy, and doesn’t do drugs. He said he had already called the “office at the lake,” but he didn’t know if those people were turning the other cheek or maybe those people have been paid off.

David had him leave a message with Bray.

The only other item in the files was a report in 2012 of a meteor or space junk that landed in George Washington & Jefferson National Forests and caused a fire. It was determined the fire was caused by a lightning strike. The report states, “Witnesses saw flaming space junk or satellite crash land in these mountains [Massanutten Range, Virginia] which may have caused the forest fire of last year: June 24, 2012, at around 1150PM Sunday.”

A California witness at Eureka stepped outside after hearing a loud, jet-like sound, and watched a rectangular-shaped object with odd lighting configuration crossing the sky, according to testimony in Case 81992 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness moved outside at 10:35 p.m. on February 9, 2017, after hearing jet sounds moving overhead.

“I heard a very loud jet, similar to a common commercial jet sound, except it was much louder,” the witness stated.“I went out the back door onto the deck to take a look. At first I couldn’t figure out where the sound was coming from. I turned around and scanned the sky behind me toward the east. I then saw what at first I took for a really huge jet, like maybe a military cargo jet, until I realized it couldn’t be, as it looked at first like it had two sets of wings stacked one on top of the other like a bi-plane.”

The witness then noticed the object had a pulsing red light in the center and two big, orange lights that seemed too far behind it for it to be a plane.

“At that point, I said, ‘What the hell is that?’ My wife heard me and came out. I pointed at the object. She tells me to hurry and grab my binoculars, so I ran inside and grabbed them, which took about 10 seconds. I came out and the object was further away than I thought it should be, as if it was speeding up.”

“I saw a very large, square, or possibly a home plate-shaped object. I perceived it to be fairly flat. There were several orange lights on it configured in a sort of arrow shape, and it had a red pulsing light in the center. The orange lights on it were illuminating the surface of the object, which was a light color. My thought was that the light configuration looked like a swept wing bomber jet from the 40s, and that it might be trying to look like a plane, except with the binoculars, I could clearly see there was surface area to it, where there shouldn’t be if it was a plane. It was clearly rectangular.”

The object did not look like anything the witness could identify.

“The lights that would’ve been the tail of the plane were too far back, and too wide for a plane as well. Those lights were actually on the rear corners of the object. It travelled west to east in a straight line. As it got further away, it seemed to accelerate due to how fast it disappeared into the distance, as compared to the standard passenger jet flying by every so often.”

The witness has seen similar objects in the past.

“This is the second time I’ve seen this type of object in the last year and-a-half or so. This time it was a lot higher, different light configuration, and traveling much faster, but the flight path was the same. It is rare to see large jets flying west to east in this area. I checked the website flightaware.com and there were no flights in the area except for a local commuter coming into our little airport. That plane was still quite a ways away still.”

Eureka is the principal city and county seat of Humboldt County in the Redwood Empire region of California, population 27,191. An Irish witness at Galway recalled a UFO incident from 1986 now referred to as the Salthill UFO Sighting, according to testimony in Case 82139 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The events occurred on March 1, 1986.

“One early spring day I walked up a hill on my way to Salthill beach,” the witness stated.“It looked liked it could rain, even though there were patches of blue in the sky. As I examined the clouds, to judge if it would rain soon, a cigar-shaped object appeared in the sky between the roofs of a row of houses. As I continued walking the object moved in the sky relative to the position of the houses on the ground, due to the perspective.”

The witness attempted to estimate the object’s distance.

“It hovered above the roof tops about one or two miles away, not moving. It’s appearance and color made me think of a Zeppelin. Then I continued walking and the object disappeared behind the roof of a house and some trees, because I moved and the perspective changed. I expected to see it again where it should have reappeared, but it remained disappeared.”

The witness then walked back to where the object was last seen.

“A slow-moving blimp should still have been in about the same position in the sky. But the object was no longer there. All this happened within a few seconds. After I reached the top of the hill I walked down to the beach promenade, I could see that there was a lot of activity in Claude Toft Park, next to the beach. It looked like a festival was going on. At the seafront, I had a clear view of the whole sky, and I asked people about having seen a blimp or if balloons had been launched for the festivities, but no one had seen anything.”

A Virginia witness at Alexandria reported watching a large, boomerang-shaped object with five, large, circle-shaped lights underneath crossing the sky silently over 500 feet, but under the cloud cover, according to testimony in Case 82719 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside sitting on his apartment deck smoking a cigar at 8:30 p.m. on March 19, 2017, when the incident occurred.

“I was facing in a southern direction, looking at the constellation Orion,” the witness stated.“My eyes were well adjusted to the night sky when some movement below Orion (but much closer my location) caught my eye.”

An object in the sky caught his eye.

“I fixed my eyes on the movement, and realized it was a large, boomerang-shaped aircraft moving in a straight southern direction at fairly slow speed. It had five large circles on the underside of the craft that were just a slightly different color than the craft itself. Very dark, charcoal gray circles against a black craft.”

Alexandria sits just south of Washington D.C.

The witness said the object blended in with the night sky extremely well, like camouflage.

“Without catching the movement at that exact moment I did, it would have been impossible to see. It stayed visible for approximately 8-10 seconds before fading into the night sky. The aircraft had no visible lights whatsoever and had no jet noise. Other aircraft were flying in my sight before and after the event. These were all different airliners (flashing lights, jet engine noise) flying at different altitudes and directions. My area gets heavy air traffic due to an airport and military installations nearby, so I’m very used to seeing and hearing several civilian and military aircraft from small planes to large jets and helicopters.”

The witness has a military background.

“I also served in the Air Force and Air National Guard in the past and have never seen an aircraft anything like the one I saw this evening. It was truly unbelievable.”

A New Jersey witness at Lakehurst reported a 2014 incident where a disc-shaped object the size of a “football field” moved overhead and then quickly moved away, according to testimony in Case 82734 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was driving home from work on December 10, 2014, when the incident began.

“At the end of this one long, hilly road, you come to a four way stop,” the witness stated.“Diagonally, there is a large, empty field. And beyond that is the base. Once I got to the stop sign there was another car in front of me and we simultaneously saw something in the sky and hit the brakes immediately in the middle of the road.”

The object was as large as a football field.

The witness described the object.

“There were 12 or more lights lined up in an oval shape larger than a football field. It could have been much bigger if it was further way. Similar to the Phoenix Lights. I just found that real quick as an example. But the oval shape was more pronounced. The ring or halo of lights were almost tilted on an angle. The lights lit up in a row. The oval sped up quicker and quicker until it vanished completely without a trace. The reason why I decided to write about this now is because I was driving past that field the other day and realized you can see stars everywhere in the sky, except for where those lights were above the base.”

The object moved away very quickly.

Lakehurst is a borough in Ocean County, New Jersey, population 2,654. Lakehurst Maxfield Field, sitting just north of the city, is the naval component of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, a United States Air Force-managed joint base headquartered approximately 25 miles (40 km) east-southeast of Trenton in Manchester Township in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States. It is primarily the home to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakerhurst, although the airfield supports several other flying and non-flying units as well.

A former security officer at the Cooper Nuclear Station near Brownville, Nebraska reported seeing a UFO over the plant sometime in the late 80s. The report was found in documents recently declassified as a result of a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for UFO files.

The files were posted today on the website TheBlackVault.com. The website is a repository for millions of pages of declassified documents. It is ran by John Greenewald, who says he requested the NRC files in late February, and was surprised how quickly they responded. He received the UFO files today.

There are 43 pages of documents, although some of those pages are copies, or have very little information on them. The majority of the pages are correspondence dealing with an incident described as, “unidentified flying object violated the protected area at Cooper Nuclear Station.”

According to the documents, the report was received in June of 2010 by a former security officer. The event actually took place sometime in the late 80s.

The report’s short description reads: “An unidentified flying object violated the protected area at Cooper Nuclear Station between 1986 and 1989, but the event was not reported to the NRC as required.”

The detail section of the report reads (reproduced unedited):

The CI [Confidential Informant] described an event that occurred during his employment as a security officer at Cooper Nuclear Station. He was employed there from 1986 through 1989 and did not remember specifically when during that time the event occurred.

While posted at the intake structure one night, he observed an “unidentified flying object” fly down the Missouri River about 150 feet in the air and hover in front of the intake. He observed it for a few moments and then contacted a fellow security officer who also observed it (he could not recall the individual’s name exactly but his first name was [REDACTED] and his last name was either [REDACTED ]. After they together observed the UFO, it turned and went back up the river and did not come back that shift. He and the other officer shared their observation with their peers who did not believe them.

The next evening he again was posted at the intake and observed the UFO return again. This time he didn’t call anyone until the UFO had traversed into the protected area and hovered above the protected area just north of the Reactor Building. He said it was roughly triangular in shape with a circle of rotating lights on the bottom. He could not hear any propulsion noise from the UFO. He believes that it was roughly 1/3 the size of the Reactor Building. Once the UFO hovered in the protected area. He called the security break room and most of the officers on shift observed the UFO. These individuals included [REDACTED] (both of whom were security officers), all of whom still work at the plant today. After hovering there for a few minutes, the UFO exited the protected are [sic] and returned back up the river to the north as it had the previous night. The CI said that he never saw the UFO at the plant again after that evening.

The CI believes that this incident should have been reported as a violation of the protected area space but was not reported.

In the report, Nick Taylor, the NRC Senior Resident Inspector, searched for corroborating documents from the time, but found nothing. However, he cautioned, “I’d be careful about concluding that if an even wasn’t recorded in CAP [Corrective Action Program] that it did not occur.” Taylor went on to explain the reporting structure in the 80s was not as robust as it currently is. As an example, he noted that there were only 1020 reports between January 1, 1986 and December 31, 1989. Whereas there are nearly 10,000 a year nowadays.

Although the report appeared to be taken seriously, in one email regarding the follow-up on the report, Taylor wrote: “This one should be a wild ride.”

If the investigation of this case was a wild ride, there is no indication of it in the report. However, William B. Jones, the chief of Allegations Coordination and Enforcement, did request that the letter regarding the incident “be controlled and distribution limited to personnel with a ‘need to know.'”

The report claims that the other witnesses to the event were interviewed, but the results are not included. Those results were sent to “ARB”, presunably an Allegations Review Board, but not included in the files provided to Greenewald.

That is the extent of the report. A letter to the witness from the Director of Reactor Safety was also included. It essential said that they will forward the information to Cooper Nuclear Station, but that “no further action” will be taken, and they thanked him for his report.

All in all, an interesting report.

As for the rest of the NRC UFO documents, there is correspondence with an individual who believes there are nuclear craft being flown around, some of which may have crashed and caused radiation contamination.

The other report is a bit more difficult to summarize. The NRC writes:

The individual expressed vague concerns about finding low-level radiation within the last year where his daughter, whom he believes is an alien or alien transplant, passed. In addition, the individual believes that travel speed can be increased using the relativity equation with minor modifications. Finally, the individual has observed UFOs.

The NRC responded that this was out of their jurisdiction and perhaps the individual should contact the Department of Defense.

A Pennsylvania witness at Dauphin reported watching a low flying, triangle-shaped object with a metallic-like appearance that “simply disappeared,” according to testimony in Case 82087 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was driving near home at 8:30 p.m. on February 14, 2017, when the incident occurred.

“My attention was drawn to a triangular object in the sky quickly flying toward me,” the witness stated.“It was low and had a couple of alternating, brightly flashing, white lights with a red light. There were several other smaller, flashing white lights that outlined the rectangular shape.”

The object then shifted direction toward the witness.

“I was drawn to watch it, so I stopped in the middle of the road. It descended and flew directly over my car. When I looked up through my sunroof, I could see it had a metallic-like appearance (but it wasn’t smooth) and an irregular light pattern. It quickly started a slight ascension, made a quick 90-degree direction change and simply disappeared. The entire event was only a couple of minutes in duration. It happened so quickly, it was difficult to take pictures.”

Dauphin, PA, is about 8 miles north of Harrisburg.

A Canadian witness at Bathurst recalled events from 1991 when a “round, white ball, fist sized,” entered her living room at a window and made a clacking sound, according to testimony in Case 82075 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

The witness stated that the events happened very quickly on November 30, 1991.

“We were sitting in my livingroom in Bathurst one evening with my three teens and pre-teen daughter watching TV,” the witness stated. “Something – it seemed mechanical – a small, round, white ball, fist sized, with black eyes, or a lens, moved the old plastic vertical blinds we had in those days. Made a clacking noise that both he and I heard. First on the left of the window, then directly in front of where William and I were sitting on the couch, moving the hard, plastic slats twice at the front picture window, slipping into the room; and seemed to maybe take a picture of us.”

The witness watched the object.

“We heard a clicking noiseand it seemed to have eyes or a lens that opened and closed. Both William and I saw it come through the closed window and closed window shade slats; and move the blind – but the kids did not see it or hear it. He and I immediately turned to each other with huge eyes and said, ‘Did you see that,’ but the kids laughed at us, as all four of them were just watching TV on the floor.”

The two jumped up and asked the kids again, but they laughed.

“He and I went to see if the window was open and neither of the two side windows, maybe sliders on the bottom, don’t remember, were open. There was nothing outside and the blinds had hardly moved when this object seemed to come through them to take a look at us.”

The two went out the front door next to the window and still did not see anything to give them a clue as to what had happened.

A Michigan witness at Grant recalled events from 2016 when a “bright, shiny, silver, metallic, spherical object – perfectly round in shape” – appeared low over a farm house, according to testimony in Case 82008 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside at 5:42 p.m. on July 8, 2016, when the incident occurred.

“Hovering above power lines and excavating pits out back,” the witness stated,“between the pond and farm house. The object stayed stationary for several seconds.”

The witness attempted to move toward the object.

“I took several steps forward to finish stepping out from under cover of the large oak tree by pump, west side of pond. As I did this, it shot off at an extremely high rate of speed to the point it was too difficult to see the object’s trail that you would normally see, like say a jet flying by super-fast.”

The witness described the object.

“The object resembled an exercise ball in size – the ones you see at the gym or at physical therapy centers. They are roughly four to give times the size of a basketball. The sphere was shinny as well. It looked as if you had taken a exercise ball and wrapped it with aluminum foil, completely seamless with no ridges or lines. The sphere hovered several feet above power lines for approximately 10 seconds.”

The witness tried to take a photo.

“As I reached for my iPhone to attempt to take a photo, it took off so fast, I couldn’t even tell which direction it went. I had gotten a strange, one with the world, feeling several seconds before the sighting. The feeling was as if a thought was given to me, or an idea at least; ‘to look up.’ The last time I’d gotten a feeling anything close to that was when I drowned for five minutesand then given CPR and revived. There is much, much more to life than meets the eye.”

A Canadian witness at Port Greville reported discovering a disc-shaped object moving out of a local bay and shooting into the sky after watching video previously shot in the area, according to testimony in Case 82086 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was at the Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia, staying at a friend’s beach cottage on August 6, 2016, when the incident occurred.

“I was watching a fairly intense lightning storm roll into the mouth of the bay off the Atlantic,” the witness stated. “We were waiting for our bar-b-q to finish and I began to film the storm hoping to get some good footage of the lightning as I waited.The storm was still a good 20 minutes away, but the lightning was going straight down into the water almost everytime and I continued to film for about two minutes.”

The witness captured nothing out of the ordinary except for one very close double flash of lightning and an immediate loud bang.

“I put my camera away,ate supper as the storm passed overhead, and thought nothing more of it until two or three days later when I was going through the video.I watched it normally and saw nothing, got to the end and hit pause during one of the lightning strikes.Took a screenshot for Facebook and continued to scroll backwards very slowly going from lightning strike to lightning strike and taking screenshots.”

But then the witness noticed something unusual.

“As I got to the very first seconds of the video, during the double lightning bolt and bang, I could see a disc-like object the size of a semi-trailer flying out of the bay on an angle at an unimaginable speed across the sky through the double flash and up into the clouds with a bang and whirly wind tunnel echo sound.”

The object was captured all within a single second on video.

“But with determination and brain surgeon fingers, I was able to get screenshots of it within that second.I have some unbelievable video and even more unbelievable pictures.I’ve spent almost eight months seeking help and getting nowhere. I pray you people take me seriously and show interest because this is real.”

A Nevada witness near Austin reported a close encounter with a low flying and hovering triangle-shaped object about 300 feet long moving overhead under 500 feet, according to testimony in Case 82126 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness first saw a bright light ahead about 1,000 yards that appeared to be hovering.

The reporting witness is a communications engineer who was leaving work at a remote radio site on Mount Callahan on February 15, 2017.

“We were driving down from Mount Callahan at 8p.m.” the witness stated. “We entered a clearing and saw a bright light in the sky just out in front of us about 1,000 yards. It was just sitting there about 30 degrees up in the air.”

The witness stopped his truck and got out to watch the object.

“In an instant, it became a very large triangle with two lights in each corner. The object appeared to rotate slowly for about a minute. The body blotted out the stars. Then it suddenly became a massive rectangle with about 30 lights around the parameter. It did not move or make any sound for about a minute.”

The object then suddenly disappeared.

“Then it just was gone as if turning off a light. About five seconds later we could hear a very loud rushing air sound just above us, but we could not see anything above us, just stars. The sound got louder, then slowly as if flying away, got softer and softer until silence. This lasted about 20 seconds. This was an extremely remote commutations site, Our trucks were the only lights for 20 square miles. I felt that it had been watching us and then just appeared directly in front of us, did its little show and left.”

Nevada MUFON Assistant State Director Sandra Countissclosed this case as an Unknown.

“Two other black triangle cases were reported in the last month in Nevada,” Countiss stated in her report.“First one is Case # 80764 in Carson City. Second is Case #82130 in North Las Vegas near the Air Force base flight zones. There is another from November 2016, Case # 80486 near Laughlin.”

A Virginia witness at Centreville reported watching a sphere-shaped object that stopped and hovered as regular air traffic passed by, according to testimony in Case 81071 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside about to give her son a driving lesson on December 20, 2016, when the incident began.

“Right before entering the driver’s side of my vehicle, I noticed in the sky to my left an object slowly moving from left towards my direction flashing two extremely bright, circular, white lights,” the witness stated.“At first I thought it was an airplane, but as it became more discernable, I noticed it had no wings, however, I could distinctly see that it was sphere-shaped with what looked like a white tail appendage sticking out from the rear.”

The witness watched as the object moved toward her location.

“I also noticed that the side of the object gave a brief reflection from the sun which allowed me to observe its metallic/aluminum body as it would look on an airplane reflecting off sun light. The object moved towards my standing location and then made a slight turn towards my right (its left) as it proceeded to slowly move across the sky.”

The witness described the object’s lights.

“The lights continued to glow off and on randomly. At times the lights would stop glowing or emitting light for about 5 to 7 seconds, and then would glow again. I noticed that the object came to a stop as soon as a passenger airliner flew by at a lower altitude below it, as if to observe it. The object then proceeded to continue its path moving from left to right across the sky.”

The witness then followed the object a few blocks out of the neighborhood to a more open area where the sky gave an unobstructed view.

“As I continued to look up, my son and I, who had been with me the entire time, noticed that the object stopped again. Suddenly, three white or silverish-colored airplanes appeared flying from right to left, one behind the other, leaving contrails in its path. I found the timing and the order in which these large airplanes were flying (one behind the other) rather strange. The airplanes flew in the direction of the UFO and passed a few thousand feet beneath it. The UFO blinked its lights a few more times as the airplanes flew by, and then moved around in circular directions, then slightly moved up, then down, then it continued to glow its light for a few seconds. The light then became dimmer to the point of going out, with the object becoming more transparent, but still discernible to my eye. The object’s light would then begin to glow some more with the object becoming more materialized and then slowly changing back to its transparent form until it eventually vanished in the sea of a beautiful blue sky.”

Centreville, VA, is about 30 miles west of Washington, D.C.

The witness reflected back on the experience.

“A few things that stayed with me after this experience were how magnificent and powerfully bright the lights were as they glowed. I could stare at them for hours. Also, how the object would stop when an airplane would fly by as if to observe it. How there was, clearly a what appears to be a white tail, coming from the rear which moved accordingly to the laws of physics. And lastly, the way it would move slowly across the sky and then stop, and change directions at will implying a clear sign of intelligence behind the controls. Very creepy, however, amazing at the same time.”

Centreville is located in Fairfax County, VA, population 71,135. Virginia MUFON STAR Team member Norman Gagnon closed this case as an Unknown. A Washington witness at Sequim reported a possible UFO incident from 1994 when a “large, green orb” paced the vehicle he was riding in, according to testimony in Case 81184 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness and two friends were leaving Sequim and were headed toward the Strait of Juan de Fuca on January 15, 1994, when the incident occurred.

The witness was a passenger in a vehicle who first noticed the sphere.

“I was in the passenger seat of an early 80s white Ford pickup that had a canopy,” the witness stated.“We were driving alongside GraysmarshBerry Farms when I realized that I was gazing out the window at a green ball of light. It was pacing us perfectly, and was about 30 -40 feet from us at about 25-30 feet off the ground. It was about 4 feet in diameter in my opinion. I am a carpenter by trade.”

The witness said it was like staring at a green moon, and gave out its own light, but was not hard to look at.

“At some point I turned around and started looking around the vehicle for a green light that might be reflecting off the inside of the window. As if prompted by me looking away, the object moved out in front of us into the other witnesses’ view. They apparently couldn’t see it at the height it was at outside my window.”

The other passengers reacted.

“My buddy who was driving yelled, ‘What the Hell is that?’ As I turned around to look, the object had advanced out in front of the truck, but still over the farm property. The large orb was on the other side of some wind break trees that bordered the road, but our view was unobstructed due to no leaves on the trees.”

The driver sped up to catch up with the object, but as he increased his speed, the object did as well.

“We were rapidly approaching the end of the road, where it turned at a 90 and paralleled the Strait. In the next moment, the object took off at a speed – so great it left a line in the sky that was still visible even after we had screeched to a stop at the water. We got out of the truck and just stared as the line slowly disappeared.”

The incident changed how the witness thought.

“We never talked about it after that night. It’s funny now, because when I hear people talk about there being life ‘out there,’ I now have no doubts. One thing I left out is at some point I had rolled down the window to see better once the object had moved out in front of us, and I remember hearing nothing but the truck. Whatever the object was doing, it had to have an ‘intelligence’ behind it. To pace us so perfectly for so long, I will never forget it. I have never written about this experience until now, but remember it as if it were yesterday.”

We recently covered a California witness at Rancho Santa Margarita who recalled a UFO encounter from 1999 when a ball of light about the size of a beach ball appeared in front of his vehicle, according to testimony in Case 82195.

The witness says it was a clear and sunny day, in broad daylight, on a very familiar road, while driving his car with friends about 2:30 p.m. on July 10, 1999, when the incident began.

“What I can only describe as some kind of a ‘ball’ of light about the size of a large beach ball appeared, very suddenly, out of nowhere, directly in front of my car,” the witness stated. “In a bit of a panic, I asked my friends if they saw it too and they all definitely did.”

MUFON has several historical cases in their witness database with accounts of objects moving along with vehicles. In particular, three Arizona accounts include fascinating testimony in cases closed as Unknowns. A Georgia witness at Savannah recalled events from 2007 when a football-shaped object moving silently about 75 feet above a two-story building appeared to be about three to four feet in length, according to testimony in case 82024 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside on top of a two-story building watching a meteor shower on August 12, 2007.

“I was looking towards the north when I noticed a dark, round silhouette with small wings off in the distance against the glow of the city sky,” the witness stated.“Sometimes I would see owls flying at night, but this was obviously not an owl.”

The witness thought the object might be a bird.

“My first thought was that this has got to be the fastest bird with the shortest wings I have ever seen and the wings were not moving. I then realized that it was coming directly towards me. I instantly jumped up from my seat to give it my full attention.”

The witness guessed at the object’s altitude.

“The building I was standing on is two stories tall and I would guess that the object was about 75 feet above that. It was traveling from north to south in a straight line at approximately 35 to 45 mph. It was shaped like an American football with the tips cut off with two small, rectangular wings that were angled at about 45 degrees. I would guess that it was about three to four feet in length. The object had the appearance of molten lava.”

The witness noticed other characteristics of the object.

“It was not tremendously bright, but it was bright enough that I could see it perfectly. The center was glowing red and the rest was orange, yellow and black swirls with it being darker towards the edges. It looked like it had been cast from molten lava. It made no sound that I could hear and I didn’t see any type of propulsion like a propeller or an exhaust of any kind. It flew directly over me as I tracked it as it flew overhead and then out of my sight.”

The light varied in color and was dynamic, not static. It was almost impossibly bright, like no other light source I’ve even seen, even though it was the middle of the day.”

The object appeared about 30 feet in front of the vehicle.

“And it seemed to be matching my speed. I was going about 40 mph at first, but I slowed down a little bit, not wanting to drive into it, but it seemed to slow down with me, remaining the same distance ahead of us. Then I sped up a little, and it did the same thing, matching my speed and remaining directly in front of my car.”

And then the object just disappeared.

“It was only there for a few seconds, maybe 10 or 15 seconds, before it vanished, just as it had appeared, into thin air. Also, there were definitely other cars on the road with me that day too, both behind me and in the lanes next to me and slightly behind me, but I have no idea if anyone other than my friends and I saw it. This happened in a pre-iphone/smartphone/cameraphone world, so none of us got any photos or video. The image I uploaded was created by me, years later, using Photoshop and a screenshot from Google street view of about where it happened.”

A Texas witness at Prosper reported hearing a humming sound that sent him outside to investigate where the entire sky lit up green for several seconds and a very bright, white light was seen several hundred feet in the air, according to testimony in Case 82205 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness and his wife were in their bedroom after midnight on February 20, 2017, when the sound was first heard.

“We heard a low pitch, but still a very noticeable humming sound,” the witness stated. “The sound went on for about 10 minutes before we got up to see what was going on outside.”

The witness then discovered that his in-laws had both been awakened by the sound as well.

“We stood outside waiting for the sound and when we heard it, the entire sky lit up green for several seconds before fading away. My wife and father-in-law stood under the patio. I stepped out in the yard during the humming to look up. The entire sky was still green and several hundred feet above me was an extremely bright, white light.”

The group had multiple sightings.

“My wife and I observed this once and my father-in-law observed it twice out of his window and once from the backyard. I have never seen anything like it. It simply made a humming sound, lit the entire sky up, and then stopped. Did all of this between 12:30-12:55 a.m. Confused and fascinated. I am still waiting, hoping the sound and lights will return so I can capture it on camera. It just disappeared.”

Texas MUFON Field Investigator Jeremy Galyon is investigating.

In an earlier report, a Texas witness at Lake Jackson reported a loud rumbling sound “like thunder” that shook the house and was followed by an unusual whining sound, according to testimony in Case 80863, that occurred on December 6, 2016. Texas MUFON State Section Director Charles Stansburge investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown.

“The case is completed as an Unknown with at least 100 or more people witnessing hearing this big boom with some homes shaking,” Stansburge reported. “As far as my conclusion is, that I don’t know what it is or what was it could have been, perhaps an atmospheric explosion of a meteorite, but nobody knows what it was.”
