Witness says cloaking ‘UFO’ had USAF insignia
A California witness at Moorpark reported watching an odd object with cloaking abilities with the words “USAF 003” on its tail stabilizer, according to testimony in Case 84601 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was sitting in a restaurant drive-thru lane at 11:24 a.m. on June 25, 2017, when the incident occurred.
“Looking right at it, my eyes hurt to look at it,” the witness stated. “It is using some kind of neural confusion. It was like trying to look at a needle coming at your eye. It gave off some type of electrical interference, and seemed to rotate radially even though it was stationary. It looked big enough to hold one or two people.”
But the witness stated that there were letters and numbers on the object that were readable.
“I could see very clearly on the tail stabilizer, USAF 003, in white paint. There were bright, silver fixtures and they had solid beacon lights that were white. The tail moved independent of the fuselage. There was a cockpit windscreen/canopy. It was non-reflective, silver material, that had a very odd indentation. It looked like a cookie sheet with a larger section around it to extend it, like a top hat.”

The witness seemed to think that the object was cloaking itself.
“The electrical interference seemed to pick up. It disturbed another one just like it in formation next to it and I could see an illusion effect and then nothing as the cloak reengaged and they were gone. There was an inaudible, pulse-like concussion as well. I said, ‘holy (blank)’ and it went over the microphone to the drive-thru guy, and he said, ‘hold on.’ And it definitely changed the electromagnetism around us. Something felt off. The air was empty. It felt like a rug had been pulled out from underneath the air. It’s hard to explain. They were about 400 feet above the 118 overpass in Moorpark, California. I swear by this statement and its truth. The metal looked old, and was matte-like. It did not pick up light like high gloss paint. I’ve been going through books since I came home. It’s good to know it’s us that has this stuff.”

Hypercivilisations and the primitive extraterrestrial hypothesis
More and more specialists admit that life is everywhere in Universe and three-four billion years of favourable conditions, lasting on a planet, ensures the emergence and development of intelligent beings and eventually the birth of a “technological civilization”, capable of building spaceships, for travelling to other inhabitable planets. These conditions, though rare, are found in many places in the immensity of the universe. On this basis, the extraterrestrial hypothesis became the easiest way to explain the UFO phenomenon.
On the other hand, prestigious ufologists, including Dr J. Allen Hynek or Jacques Vallée, questioned this explanation. They, along with die-hard sceptics, have mentioned, among others, that the distances between civilizations are too large for such cosmic travelling. But, as I have argued in my recent book “UFOs over Romania”, if we make an appropriate approach, we will discover that the most important distances between cosmic civilisations are not those in space but those in time.
I have estimated that in the history of our Galaxy could have come into being a number of technological civilisations, of which, maybe a few hundred survived the childhood diseases (that we face now on Earth) and still exist. But these civilisations have not arisen simultaneously. For example, in July 2015 it was announced the discovery at 1,400 light years from Earth, of the exoplanet Kepler 452b. It is similar to Earth, orbiting in the habitable zone of a Sun-like star. That solar system is one billion years older than ours. That means that life and a possible technological civilisation could have appeared here one billion years earlier than on Earth. More generally, the first technological civilisations in the Milky Way could appear a billion years ago, or even earlier. Consequently, we understand that the possible civilisations in the Cosmos are far apart from each other not only in space, but also in time. In our Galaxy, these several hundred surviving civilisations, estimated above, have appeared, most likely, one in a several million years. Therefore, in the Milky Way there is no civilisation close to our level.
What will become of our civilisation (if it will survive) over millions (or billions) of years? It is impossible to imagine. We do not forget that we are not able to predict our future, even in a perspective of just several hundred years. How would the inhabitants of a civilisation that has outstripped us with millions of years look like? Maybe they became immortal, maybe time and space do not matter to them, they may have moved into a pervasive virtual reality, in other dimensions and so on. But the real answer is almost certainly even much more complex and defies our logic and imagination. We can accept however that they have been transformed into something else, beyond our understanding; into something we can name as a “hypercivilization”.
If somebody considers that we were too optimistic and the intelligent beings are much scarcer, we should add that our Milky Way is only one of at least 150 billion, more or less similar, galaxies of the Universe accessible to our instruments. And we have strong reasons to believe that there are other Universes too, maybe “parallel” ones, maybe from other states of matter, or parts of a “Multiverse” etc.
Schooling and science fiction, but not only, set our minds on patterns ignoring completely the possibility of hypercivilisations. Consequently, we face two “extraterrestrial hypotheses”: the first is what we might call the “primitive extraterrestrial hypothesis”, the other that of hypercivilisations.
The “Primitive Extraterrestrial Hypothesis” assumes that all cosmic civilisations are more or less at the same level of evolution. Therefore it nurtures some false preconceptions as: very long and difficult cosmic voyages, wish to land on the lawn of White House, equal rights, conversation, invasion, intervention, aid and so on.
This primitive view is completely implausible. If hypercivilisations exist (and they exist, with a probability of 99.999999%) they exploited, in the smallest detail, our Galaxy, millions of years ago, so they have known, for a long time, about our existence. This reasoning led Enrico Fermi, when he said, in 1950: “they should be here; where are they?” But neither he, nor many others, did consider that representatives of hypercivilisations could be here, among us, but could look so different from our expectations that we cannot recognise them. What prevents us to see them is, also, a set of widespread and deeply rooted prejudices, such as those below.
The preconception of equal rights. A difference of millions of years, or even hundreds of millions, is as huge as between us and a lizard or even an ant. If they are here (as it is highly probable), they can examine us, monitor our evolution, even contact us in some form, but they will never put them at the same level with us.
The preconception of conversation. As far back as 1959, Giuseppe Cocconi and Philip Morrison argued that if the difference between two civilisations is of millions of years, the probability that they could exchange ideas is zero. We interact sometimes with a lizard; but this will never be a conversation, they said.
The temporal provincialism (term used by Dr J. Allen Hynek). It states that, in opposition with the previous dark centuries, the last three-four hundred years brought us finally to the light of real truth and science. In this light, now we can decide what facts can be accepted and what will never be possible. If one hundred years ago or so we started to use the radio, some believe it will last as the best means of communications forever. If one hundred years ago Einstein postulated that the speed of light is a limit, no other physical law will be discovered until the end of times to avoid this limit and so on. As a peculiar example, we have the SETI preconception. According to it, even if the radio signals need thousands of years from one inhabited world to other, the cosmic civilisations will consider that signalling by radio waves will be, forever, the most appropriate means of contact and that we should spend money to search for them.
The preconception of invasion. For many people it should be normal if a cosmic civilisation arrives on Earth, it will attempt to conquer us by force. But the hypercivilisations probably knew, millions of years ago, that we are here; therefore they could invade us at any time and, in a certain sense, probably we are already invaded by them, for millions of years. Some “out-of-place artifacts” could be a hint of that.
The preconception of intervention and of aid. Some hope that the ET will help us (or at least some “chosen”) to overcome future catastrophes. But even us, if we discover a valuable piece of land, which has escaped from the human intrusion, we try to declare it a reservation, permitting only a very limited intervention, for scientific reasons. This attitude seems to be strengthening in time. A hypercivilisation observing the Earth and the human technological civilisation should act in a similar manner, avoiding to interfere in our evolution, but taking samples, making some experiments, having very limited contacts (not at all officially or as between equals) with only some individuals, selected upon their and not our criteria.
Therefore no settlement, no destruction, on one hand and no official contact, conversation or substantial help, on the other hand, are to be expected from highly advanced cosmic civilisations, even if they are here now.
The difference between a hypercivilisation and us could be as high as that between us and ants. Some entomologists who would propose to study the life of an anthill will try to disturb, as little as possible, its life. They could of course make experiments, examining or modifying some ants, or even taking them in remote laboratories, trying to create new “races” and so on. They will certainly try to find out, as much as possible, about the life of the anthill, but will not “present credentials” to the queen of the ants. If the entomologists have the technology, they will create some robot ants, sending them in to the hill and watching from a safe place, for example “on the computer screen”, the data transmitted by them. And if a robot ant would be lost in that mission, the incident would add a bit to the costs of research, without being a tragedy.

We can speculate that a hypercivilisation could attempt to realise, using genetic materials from the Earth, new races, with greater brain, with higher intelligence, adapted for some special tasks, etc. Therefore, many “races” described by the alleged abductees (the greys, the tall blonds etc.) can be such artificial human races or even bio-robots derived from the human species. They can be “produced” for example in reservations or bases somewhere outside the Earth. In the same manner we make new varieties of wheat from the traditional ones. Sometimes, the perfect variety of wheat became sterile or exposed to new diseases. At that moment the agronomists will try to find some appropriate genes in the pool represented by the primitive species of wheat, to improve the “perfect” variety. What if humans on Earth are the “wild pool” of genes, suitable to improve some artificial races elsewhere? In this case it will be no problem of compatibility between the visitors and us, as in some of the reported UFO abduction and hybridisation stories, but also, for example, in the biblical note: “In those days, divine beings and human daughters had sexual relations and gave birth to children. These were the ancient heroes” (Genesis, 6, 4). Some people suppose even that there is an ongoing external intervention in the evolution of the human race in order to improve it.
But obviously the comparison above – of mankind with an anthill – is slightly forced, as mankind is, nevertheless, a potential future hypercivilisation. The arising of a technological civilisation could be a very rare event in our Galaxy, occurring probably once in several millions of years. So it is normal for us to be of interest to the higher intelligences. But what could they expect from us?
A hypercivilisation will behave elusively and will not give us its knowledge and technologies; even more, it will forbid that. This is not, only, because of human aggressiveness and xenophobia, making from all new technology new weapons, nor only to avoid a “cultural shock”, which could virtually destroy all our social, economical, political, military, scientific, religious and cultural structures. I can speculate they have also some other reasons for that. Hypercivilisations could wait (and maybe harvest even now) our original ideas, viewpoints, creations (in art, science, philosophy, ethics etc.), produced as a result of millions of years of our independent evolution. And all that expected crop could be destroyed by a premature contact.
Some old, apparently absurd, stories may be an indication of such an attitude: the punishment for the apple of the forbidden tree of knowledge, the chaining of Prometheus, or the fallen angels (from Book of Enoch), thrown into a pit full of fire, because they were taught earthlings some skills.
Many abductees or contactees spoke about ethereal light balls as “deposits of knowledge and intelligence”, recording “everything in the Universe”, among others, the life of all (or of the most interesting) individuals. We have some hints for this when we speak about: the “Book of Life”, “Akashic Records”, “collective unconscious”, or even “morphogenetic field” etc. That “super-memory” could be written on a “spiritual” support, or on something around us we are not yet able to imagine. Sometimes, some people, under certain conditions, could gain access to this data warehouse. In that way we can explain: channelling, “xenoglossia”, “walk-ins”, “reincarnation”, ghosts, etc. In such a virtual reality, time is different. We can travel in the past, live events, without changing the real past, or we can see scenarios of the future (sometimes apocalyptical), without accepting fatality.
Of course, all the above is not a proof that the hypercivilisations are the explanation for everything strange and particularly for UFOs. It is only one hypothesis; but – I think – one which cannot be easily discarded.
A Michigan witness at Lennon reported watching and videotaping “three, massive, triangular-shaped crafts” that hovered under 100 feet off the ground, according to testimony in Case 84251 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness was in a vehicle moving along Corunna Road when he had the feeling he was being watched on June 8, 2017.
“As we broke the tree line, I noticed three lights in the sky from this distance I was at,” the witness stated. “It looked to be no more than 70-80 feet between the three lights. As we drove by, my mother stopped the vehicle to gain a better view. I began feeling mortified and terror consumed me. The craft hovered ominously, making no sound, pulsating a flurry of colors.”

The witness yelled for his mother to begin driving again as he did not feel safe.
“As we drove, another five minutes or less had passed, and I began feeling I was being watched again. This time, another craft had appeared over the tree line shinning blue-green very intensely. It then changed shape as it got closer, still making no sound. I began feeling the dread again.”

They slowed down to get a better view of the craft.
“As it hovered, it stayed in position as we drove past. As with the previous craft, another five minutes or less had passed, then off in the same direction a small, white light from the horizon had grown from a dim white light to a star-sized object with red and blue and green and white flashing lights while still making no sound. We were the only ones on the road, so there was no background noise or disturbance. The two previous craft were a football field’s length away from us as we saw them no more than 50 to 100 feet above the ground hovering over trees.”

An Ohio witness at Mahoning County reported watching and photographing a sphere-shaped object crossing the sky, according to testimony in Case 84308 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness stepped outside at 10:07 p.m. on June 10, 2017, when the incident occurred.
“Went out to grab my cell phone charger out of scooter glove box and saw this object or objects hauling ass across the sky,” the witness stated. “Only had a little bit of time to snap a picture and a bit of video, but appeared to be more than one before I lost sight when the line of trees got in the way.”

“Worked on F-16s and have enough knowledge of planes and helicopters to know it wasn’t a plane and it wasn’t arching like falling space objects.”

Most ufologists are keenly aware of the frequent reports of what people often refer to as “orbs” which lacks much clarity. The term is often used to describe objects that turn out to be everything from Chinese lanterns, to ball plasma, and even navigation lights on aircraft. The term is also used to describe lens flares created from pointing cameras towards a bright light source, an out of focus light, and is also a dust particle that floats in front of a camera with a bright light seen in ghost investigations.
There exists another class of objects that science has yet to fully explain which seem to be a naturally recurring phenomena that are seen in certain geographic areas with increased frequencies (almost nightly) than the objects previously mentioned. In 1973, Piedmont, Missouri experienced a rash of sightings of luminous phenomena and documented by Dr. Harley Rutledge in his book, Project Identification. Dr. Rutledge had a team conduct a field study over a period of years, capturing scientific data, video and photographic evidence in the hopes of learning more about its nature. His summary report of these lights are consistent with other observations in other areas.
Missouri was not the only location that experienced this phenomena in 1973. In Cloverdale, Alabama, a small town located in the northwestern part of Alabama, similar lights were being seen almost nightly and appeared to be balls of luminous lights of varying colors. Residents saw these objects so frequently that they just ignore them – “it’s those dang lights again”. The Cloverdale phenomena continues to appear even today. Wyatt Cox, a former native of the area, now residing in South Carolina has documented and classified many hundreds of sightings that him a friend observed in his book, Spooklights, The Amazing Cloverdale, Alabama Spooklight Mystery.
Wyatt has done an excellent job in creating a classification system for the variations seen (e.g., colors tend to be blue, yellow/orange, white). The lights vary in size, speed and duration based on the colors noted. White lights are generally seen during warmer months, where yellow/orange lights tend to be seen during cooler months (October through April). The Spooklights, now referred to as “Earthlights” by Wyatt, tend to be 8 foot in diameter (the blue and white ones are 2-4 feet in diameter), travel in straight line paths (east to west or reversed), and can be at ground level and rise to altitudes of several thousand feet. They move at 20 mph, but can also stop and then proceed in their path. The lights can go out and then come back on as they proceed on their path and they generally disappear by fading out.

Every serious UFO researcher and field investigator needs to get a copy of the books mentioned here along with the works of William Corliss on Luminous Phenomena. Corliss has done an excellent job of categorizing, referencing and even illustrating the myriads of types of luminous phenomena observed on the earth. Both Corliss as well as Cox see these objects as naturally occurring phenomena, not alien spacecraft. They are very similar to the lights in Hessdalen, Norway, the Marfa Lights, the Paulding Lights, Crossett Lights, Gurdon Lights and dozens of other areas around the globe and it this author’s opinion that it can explain a vast number of UFO sightings even outside of these geographic areas reported by witnesses as “orbs”.

Similar to the field study conducted by Dr. Rutledge, a scientific field investigation is being planned for the Cloverdale area this fall. We are seeking to secure the best equipment possible (spectroscopes, gravimeters, magnetometers, cameras capturing images in multiple parts of the EM spectrum, and other data collection tools) along with trained users of that equipment to see what we can learn. Plans include the possible use of a drone to see if we can get close-ups of the lights, equipped with sensors. The outcome will be to deliver a report on our findings and sharing our data collected. We have already begun collecting geological data, earthquake zone data, and weather data for the area.

Witness allegedly captures military UFO chase video
A California witness at Landers reported that a group of people at a UFO conference watched and videotaped a military jet “chasing” two lights sources that may have been two independent objects, according to testimony in Case 84123 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The sighting occurred about 10 p.m. on May 21, 2017, at the conference in Joshua Tree, CA, that included one participant shooting video with night vision goggles.
“Luckily one of my participants caught this and many of our other sightings (from all three nights no less), with his black-and-white night vision video camera,” the witness stated. “His additional footage of some of the other incredible sightings will be posted at a future date once they are compiled.”
The witness described the event.
“At just before 10 p.m. (did not note exact time), some of my participants and I saw a large, amber-colored light low to the horizon just behind Giant Rock from where my whole group of about 50-plus people were gathered and using 15 pair of night vision goggles. A contingency of about 20 of us ran to get a better view of it. To the naked eye it appeared to be a large, orangish (amber) light, that, quoting some of the 20 people; ‘flew like a bumble bee.’”

One of the guests had a good look.
“One guest came running with a pair of the goggles in hand and got a good look at it. She said that through the goggles it looked like ‘a large diamond-shaped UFO.’ She drew a picture of it, attached here. This object then flew behind a small hill right behind the entire Sky Watch larger group. As those of us who ran off walked back to join the others, three military jets flew over in the direction of the object now gone from sight behind the hill. Some of us commented that if they were following it, meaning the jets, they were a few minutes too late.”
The group then heard the sound of a low flying jet from behind the hill.
“Suddenly clearing the top of the hill and right over our heads, came a very fast military jet chasing a faster, large, red-glowing light. The military jet had both red and white blinking strobe lights and glowing afterburners and was very loud as it flew directly above our heads. The large red light had no blinking lights and no sound at all. It became clear to all 50-plus witnesses, this was no jet. Those folks present who looked with the aid of the goggles said they were seeing either two lights, or one object with two light sources on it.”

The witness reviewed the video.
“After extensive review of the footage, I am nearly certain it shows two UFOs (fast moving lights), flying in perfect, locked tandem with one another. It appears you can see stars between them in the background, suggesting that these are two separate objects. As is usually the case, this footage, while incredible, does not do the sighting justice. The video is in black-and-white night vision, not full-color, naked-eye vision, and does not have any sound, so you are unable to hear the palatable excitement of 50-plus witnesses screaming and cheering.”

A witness in the town of Hamilton in Ontario, Canada can not identify a strange object photographed on July 11, 2017 from an apartment balcony. The witness described the object as “rectangular box-shaped,” and says the object hovered slowly overhead and at one point changed direction.

The witness submitted the report to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) earlier today, along with several pictures the witness took from the witness’ apartment balcony.
The witness claims to have spotted that object at about 4:15 pm. The witness described the object’s movement as “floating” or “sailing” overhead. When it got closer to the witness, the object changed direction. The witness said the object was about the size of a small vehicle, such as a Mini Cooper.
“It looked like a large, rectangular, metallic box,” explained the witness. “How it was airborne, and how it remained so, completely puzzled and mystified me.”
The witness titled the report: “Unidentifiable, 3D rectangular box-shaped object drifting very smoothly over the city.”

On July 11, 2017 at approximately 16:15 – 16:20 hrs., I witnessed an unidentifiable flying/floating object sailing over my area (East Hamilton, Ontario), from my apartment balcony. My balcony faces N/E, toward the bay of Lake Ontario. I stepped out to take a look at the construction crew tearing down an old high school across the road from my building, and to check on the current temperature, when this object caught my eye, drifting at first in my direction (fully south), coming from the north area of the city, closer to the lake. It was fairly large, and I estimated it to be almost the size of an Austin Mini Cooper car. It looked solid/3D, and was rectangular and box-like in shape. The colour was a dark grey, but parts of it appeared to be a lighter grey. It changed direction as it approached my area, turning left, and heading toward the town of Stoney Creek (south-east/east). My neighbourhood is on the border of Stoney Creek, and this object floated away over that town and out of sight. I captured a few photos of it with my mobile phone, but by the time I went into my apartment to get my phone and returned to the balcony with it, the object had moved further away, so the photos don’t show it very well. I had no idea what this object was when I first noticed it, or when it sailed past my location. It looked like a large, rectangular, metallic box. How it was airborne, and how it remained so, completely puzzled and mystified me. I was talking on my house phone (cordless handset) with a friend while all of this was going on, and I remember just laughing slightly when I first saw it, telling her, “Holy CRAP… there’s a UFO heading this way, and by that, I mean an unidentifiable flying object.” Then after it started to turn toward the east I said, “Well, now there’s a large metallic, rectanglar box just sailing past this neighborhood… gonna grab my phone and take some photos.” So I stepped inside, grabbed the phone, and took about a half-dozen photos, before it sailed too far away. I don’t know how to describe my feelings at the time, really… nothing extraordinary, because I had no idea what this object could be. I was just really puzzled/curious, more than anything, because I couldn’t figure out what it was. I’m still wondering about it, and would love to hear if anyone else happened to witness it too, and may have some idea of what it could be?!
The images do show a rectangular-shaped object in the sky. The slow movement would usually indicate something floating in the sky, such as a balloon, and party balloons do come in all shapes and sizes. Balloons do not often seem to make a change in directions, but it is possible if the wind changes direction. However, it is not immediately apparent what the object is.
The vast majority of UFO sightings turn out to be mundane objects, but once in awhile there are sightings that are much more difficult to explain. MUFON conducts investigations on sightings submitted to their website, and if they share their conclusions, we will let you all know. An Ohio witness at Delphos is trying to understand why he drove by a hovering UFO and did not stop to investigate, according to testimony in Case 83981 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The incident occurred about 3:45 p
.m. on November 20, 2016.
“I was driving home from work in Delphos,” the witness stated. “I looked up below the trees and saw a black and gray, or silver, squared, cubicle shape with the top right cut out about 8 to 10 feet in size – just hovering or vibrating.”

The next piece of the story is a mystery to the witness.
“I kept driving past it. And when I got home five minutes later, I asked myself why I didn’t turn back. It’s like I couldn’t.”
The witness is sure the object was not a known object.
“I know it wasn’t a drone or toy plane. It could have been military, but not sure. Or it looked like a pixel cube like in the movie, “Wreck-It Ralph.” Or could been a glitch-like movie, Matrix. I’m a normal, non-smoking guy and don’t drink much. I know what I saw was something real.”

An Ohio witness at Batavia described a triangle-shaped object with three lights at its points moving directly overhead with no flashing lights or sound, according to testimony in Case 83789 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside in a front yard with a dog on a clear night at 9:45 p.m. on May 16, 2017, when the incident began.
“I immediately noted how many stars I could see and the darkness of the sky,” the witness stated.“While standing on the driveway and shortly after looking up, I saw the object come over my roof into view. It appeared to be several thousand feet up in the sky. I could easily make out three distinct, white lights in a perfect triangular pattern.”
The object appeared to be several thousand feet up. Batavia is a small Ohio town with a 1,509 population.

The witness stated that the object did not appear to be the average aircraft.
“There were no flashing aircraft lights of any kind. There was no noise as the object passed over. It was heading in a southwest direction. There were no clouds in my viewing area to obscure it, only some faint ones on the horizon, so I had a clear view of it. It was almost directly overhead of my neighborhood.”
The witness described the object’s movement.
“It made a bend in its trajectory turning towards the west after a few seconds. Shortly after, it abruptly disappeared. During the sighting, I did not want to lose sight of the object, so I did not run inside for my phone to take video. I noticed blinking aircraft lights within a few degrees of the object during and after the sighting. There are multiple airports in the area and I am used to seeing all sorts of planes and this immediately struck me as not having any blinking lights and a perfect triangle shape.”
The object was moving very fast.

“It also must have been moving quite fast since it covered a pretty large area of the sky in a short time. The altitude and lack of noise reminded me of seeing a satellite, but the triangle shape made me question whether it could be one. Whether the planes were tracking it or just flying over, I couldn’t say. We see a lot of planes around here.”

A couple celebrating Canada Day at Toronto’s Harbourfront recorded a video of a mysterious “white shining disk,” according to a UFO report they submitted today to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). Along with the report, the couple uploaded their video.

The video shows a round object with what appears to be a clear or dark center. The object cannot be seen throughout the video, but appears and then disappear several times. The object looks disk-shaped, perhaps even a disk with the center cut out like a vinyl record.

Me and my girlfriend were celebrating Canada Day weekend at Harbourfront on Sunday July 2nd, 2017. I looked up in the sky for no particular reason….and noticed this circular white shining disk. As you can see on the video, I asked my girlfriend, what do you think that is? She then witnessed it too….and was thinking it was either a kite or a drone, thinking drones are everywhere. But once she started looking at it again…and then saw the video, she realized that it was not a drone. When looking at the object…I noticed the glaring shininess of the disk…and how it was moving across in a circular motion. It then just disappeared in the clouds, we were watching for awhile, but did not see it again. At that point we then witnessed a black helicopter and thought maybe it was following it? I was shocked witnessing this….I was puzzled. My girlfriend was skeptical at first…but realized it might have not been a drone after all.
Drones, often of the quad-copter variety, have appendages that hold the rotors and zip through the sky. This object does not demonstrate that sort of behavior, nor does it appear to have rotors, so the witness is likely right that a drone is not what they filmed. Balloons are often set afloat during celebrations and move with the wind. However, balloons do not appear and disappear as this one does. If the balloon is somehow going into and out of shadows, it might appear as though it is disappearing and reappearing. However, this balloon is high in the sky and it does not appear anything could cause shadows at that height. Still, a balloon might not be able to be ruled out.

The new book UFOs TODAY – 70 Years of Lies, Misinformation and Government Cover-Ups by Irena Scott PhD contains an amount of controversial and thought provoking information as the title of the book might suggest. If I were a gambling man I would bet on one piece of information in this book being the most controversial within its pages. With it being the 70th anniversary of the Roswell Incident, an event that many claim was the crash of a space vehicle from an ET origin, the news that an alleged new witness emerging might not be that big a surprise.
The Roswell File and Charles H. Forgus.
In 2012, I was contacted by a gentleman called Scott Ferguson. Scott was part of a production company called White Tiger Films. He explained to me that he had some information on the Roswell Incident that he would like me to take a look at. I had first to sign a non-disclosure agreement which I did. Once this was signed I was sent what Scott called his ‘Roswell File’. He was looking to possibly make a movie based around this file and asked if I could help research the alleged witness. I of course agreed. The ‘Roswell File’ consisted of a transcript of an interview with the alleged witness Charles H. Forgus, a video interview with him and a photo as well. The story of how White Tiger Films obtained this material is I would say quite unique.
The witness to the Roswell crash scene was Deputy Sheriff Charles H Fogus of Howard County, Texas. He was interviewed in 1999 by Los Angeles private investigator Deanna Short. Deanna recorded the interview on video and later had a transcript done of the interview and completed her Agency report to verify facts at that time related to Charles Forgus and Sheriff Jess Slaughter – both of Howard County, Texas.

Sheriff Jess Slaughter and Deputy Sheriff Charles Fogus were allegedly travelling together in early July, 1947 from Texas to Roswell to pick up a prisoner when they happened on the Roswell crash scene in New Mexico. Both were there and were on an overlook to view the crash scene recovery by the Army. I should note that according to Deanna’s daughter Mackenzie, Charles made a special effort to note to Deanna “not to believe what others will say – he and the Sheriff did witness the Roswell crash scene”.
Deanna is now deceased but her daughter Mackenzie Christian has kept Deanna’s files that include the Roswell case which includes the video interview. Robert Short is Deanna’s son. Both Mackenzie and Robert are themselves experienced investigators having worked along side there mom in years past. Robert has taken up the work to investigate both Sheriff Jess Slaughter and Deputy Sheriff Charles Fogus.
In 1999 Deanna verified the background, including living relatives of both law enforcement individuals that existed at the time and documented that in her agency intelligence report.
I will producer here the transcript of the interview with Charles Forgus which was conducted in 1999. Some words have been redacted but not by me but by Deanna Bever.

LR: What I’m trying to do is pierce together……
CF: I was working for the Sheriff of . I was a Deputy there for Sheriff Slaughter, was back in the 40’s. We went to Roswell to pick up a prisoner. When we got there, the land was covered with soldiers. They were hauling a big, a creature. Hauling him away.
What I seen of him looked just like the one we see on television, with big eyes. There was a big round thing in the canyon. It was about 100 feet across. They put that on a truck and hauled it away. They wouldn’t let us get very close to it either. So we headed up to get the prisoner in Roswell and back to.
LR: So you were on your way from to Roswell to pick up a prisoner and you happened to be at that place……
CF: It already had crashed. They were taking them out. There were soldiers there….about 3 or 4 hundred of them. They wouldn’t let you get very close. They were keeping all the people away. People were coming out there.
LR: What did the saucer (we’ll call it) look like?
CF: It was a big round thing. Across the middle it was about 100 feet.
LR: Did you see any lights around it?
CF: No, they went out when it banged into the wall in the creek. It was like a mountain on the side of the creek.

LR: Did you see any creatures: How many did you see?
CF: Yeh, I saw them. I think I seen about four (of them).
LR: were they covered up?
CF: Mostly. I saw the legs and feet on some of them.
LR: What did the feet look like? Do you remember?
CF: They looked like our feet.
LR: Could you figure how tall they were? They were laying flat, Right?
CF: Yeh, There is one thing I do remember. The Great Father didn’t just make this planet…. He made all of them. He put beings on these planets just like he put us on this one. They’re smarter then we are. They can get from there to here, but we can’t get from here to there.
(Note: CF is rather deaf. He wears two hearing aid appliances in this ears, so he answers my questions as follows …)
LR: Why do you think they’re here then?
CF: I don’t know where they hauled them. They might have hauled them to the hospital or somewhere.
LR: How long were you and Sheriff Slaughter at that site after you arrived?
CF: About 30 Minutes?
LR: Did you tell anyone about it?
CF: The Army was there and military soldiers were there.
LR: Did they tell you not to say anything?
CF: No, they didn’t tell me nothing’. They wouldn’t let you get close to ‘em.
LR: Did they actually see you observing what was going on?
CF: Sure, they saw me lookin’ at them.
LR: And they didn’t tell you to not say anything…..
CF: No, They wouldn’t let us get close to them. We were about 10 away.
LR: You were that close?
CF: We might have been further away. I didn’t have glasses then, I could see pretty good.
DB: What was your official capacity then?
CF: I was a Deputy The County Seat was I was riding with the Sheriff when we went to get the prisoner.
He didn’t order nobody except me to go with him. The UFO was already down when we got there. We went and got the prison afterwards. We heard about it on the radio.
LR: What did you hear on the radio?
CF: That the thing had crashed.
LR: But they didn’t know what ‘the thing’ was?
CF: No. But you would think that when people hear something like this, it scares the heck out of them. This came out of the POLICE RADIO. We were on the way through there (to pick up the prisoner) when we heard it on the police radio. It was a big distance from to Roswell…you can look on a map and see it.
LR: So let me ask you this. When you guys were driving down the road and you were listening to the police radio……
CF: Yeh…..
LR: Do you remember what was said on the radio about whatever it was… Do you recall?

CF: All I remember is they said that a saucer crashed out there in the canyon.
LR: They actually said the word ‘saucer’?
CF: They can call it a saucer if they want to but there ain’t a big enough cup of coffee for that thing.
LR: How long do you think you were at the site? (Note the cookoo clock goes off at noon)
CF: Probably about 20 minutes. We seen them haul them (the bodies) out there, out of the canyon up to the trucks….puttin them on the tow trucks so they could haul them.

DB: Did anyone try to get you to leave the scene.
CF: No….they told the Sheriff that we had to go. That was good enough for us….He’s the boss.
LR: When they were taking the beings (we’ll call them), were the beings laying on the ground around the saucer?
CF: Yeh, they were lifting them up with a crane that they had and picking them up and swinging them to put them on the truck. The bodies must have been 5 feet tall.
LR: Did you see the heads?
CF: Yeh….they were covered. They eyes looked like the ones we see on television and the pictures of them.
LR: What color was the skin?
CF: As much as I could tell….the skin was a brownish color…. Like they were in the sun too long.
LR: From the time it crashed until the time you got there, do you know how much time went by? From the time you heard it on the police radio until you got there?
CF: About two hours.
LR: Did you see any writing or engraving on the saucer?
CF: I wasn’t that close to it?
LR: If you were say 12 feet away from the beings, how far were the beings away from the saucer. Were they thrown pretty far?
CF; We couldn’t see that well because of the trees. It was in a riverbank. It slammed into a river bank. I say them lifting one up with the crane.
LR: Did anyone else talk to you about what was going on?
CF: There were some solders, but I don’t think they were from the Air Force.
LR: Where do you think they were from then?
CF: I don’t know. They were wearing uniforms. I didn’t pay no attention cause I just wanted to go with the Sheriff to get the heck out of there before something happened.
LR: When you guys were in the car to go pick the guy up, did you discuss or talk about what you had seen with the Sheriff?
CF: No. I didn’t know what they were and he didn’t either or where they came from or nothin.
DB: Did you see any blood on the bodies?
CF: I don’t know…. I guess they were dead.
LR: You’re 81 years old now. When and where were you born?

CF: I was born in I don’t know what city.
LR: You have been in the
CF: I sure have, before I became a Deputy Sheriff.
LR: So when this thing at Roswell happened, you were already out of the Army and were a Deputy Sheriff. That happened in 1947. Now it’s 1999. That was 52 years ago, Charlie. And you still remember it clearly?
CF: Yeh, pretty clear.
LR: Has anyone ever talked to you or asked you to talk about what happened…like to the Government, cause there’s a lot of research going on now because of the cover-up.
CF: There was one that came around, and I told him to shut up and not come around. I don’t know who they were. That was when I was Deputy Sheriff.
LR: When you saw the saucer, can you remember in your mind what it looked like. Can you draw it?
CF: No….you draw it?
(Note: Charlie had LR draw because he broke his arm and can’t use it). He directed LP to draw a circle (not an oval). Then he directed LR to draw another circle with the circle. This was a drawing of the top of the saucer. Charlie was standing on top of the opposite side of the bank of the dry creek bed where the saucer had crashed.
LR: Were you standing above it?
CF: I was standing on the back side. The saucer hit the bank on this side of the creek and I was standing on the other side of the bank, at the top of the hill. I was looking down at the site.
LR: So you had a ‘bird’s eye view‘, that’s why you were able to see the top of it?
CF: I didn’t have a ‘bird’s eye, I’ve got my own eyes (he laughs)
LR: LR shows Charlie the drawing. LR says, if this is the top (of the saucer), how much higher were you.
CF: Probably about 20 feet above it.
LR: So, that’s why you saw the top (of the saucer). And you say, that from here to here (across the top of the saucer – diameter) is about 100 feet.
CF: It was evenly round.
LR: So it was absolutely round…. Not oval shaped and you were 20 feet above it, that’s why you saw the top.
LR: did you see the fingers and hands?
CF: No, they were covered up. But I saw the head.
LR: But you said you saw the feet.
CF: Yeh, later on, when they were passing by I saw the feet. I could see them lifting it up with the crane. They wouldn’t let you close enough when they were puttin’ them into the truck. When they were liftin them on the crane you could see them layin’ on that thing.
LR: You said the body was covered. Were the arms layin on the stomach under the cover?
CF: When the wind blew, the cover went back so you could see the face. The same way with the feet.
Nothing has been changed in the above transcript and who LR is I have no idea. No sooner had I started to try and help Scott Ferguson that all communication with him abruptly ceased. No matter how I tried to contact him I had no reply. So that is where I left it. It wasn’t until 2014 that I had an email from Robert Short (Deanna Bevers son) informing me that Scott had died. Any further work on this material was again delayed because of my own serious ill health.
In 2016, I contacted Robert Short and asked him if I could publish this material and try and continue with the investigation into it. Robert agreed and permission was granted. I asked for the assistance of Chris Evers, Irena Scott PhD and the Mutual UFO Network. The investigation into this material is on-going but between us we have managed to establish a few things. For example Sheriff Slaughter was not the Sheriff in 1947. He was in fact Sheriff twice, the first time from 1928 until 1940 and the second was 1953 to 1956. The Sheriff in 1947 was R.L. Wolf (see Sheriff’s log). We have also located his military discharge papers from WWII. On top of that there are a number of local newspapers that mention Charles Forgus.

PART ONE-DEPUTY FORGUS’S STORY
OVERVIEW
In 1999 a resident of Big Spring Texas gave a deposition to a private investigator claiming that he was a witness to the Roswell UFO crash in July of 1947.
Charles Forgus Jr. was born on January 28, 1918 and died in 2001. He would have been 29 years old in 1947 when the incident is alleged to have taken place. He called himself a Deputy Sheriff for Howard County.
His co-witness was Sheriff Jess Slaughter. Slaughter was born in 1896 per the 1940 census. His obituary states he was born in 1894 and died in 1972.
So in 1947 Charles Forgus was 29 and his Sheriff Jess Slaughter was 53. Logical ages for their positions.
Charles Forgus related that “in the 1940s” he and Jess Slaughter were travelling between Big Spring Texas and Roswell New Mexico to pick up and return a prisoner to Big Spring which is the Howard County Texas seat. Both Forgus and Slaughter lived in Big Spring.
In the New Mexico portion of the journey travelling west to pick up the prisoner, they came across a crash and debris site in the desert. They observed three to four hundred Army personnel scouring the crash site. They observed a crashed “circular” saucer about 100 feet in diameter. They also saw two dead bodies being loaded onto a truck. The disc was described as circular, metal and had a second circle within it possibly a cupola. They explained their vantage point was over a dry river/creek bed viewable from the highway. The saucer had crashed into the riverbank below. Their vantage point was approximately 20 feet above the embankment presumably from the highway.
They witnessed two corpses being loaded onto a truck. The corpses were covered with sheets but wind allowed the officers to see human type feet, brown skin, large eyes on the head and they approximated the bodies as being 5 feet tall.
It is suggested that they were fairly close to Roswell and actually returned with the prisoner and saw more of the clean-up operation. The operation went on for hours presumably during daylight.
MAIN PROBLEMS
There are three main problems associated with the 1999 interview of Charles Forgus Jr. He was interviewed by Los Angeles private investigator Deanna Short. Deanna recorded the interview on video and later had a transcript done of the interview and completed her Agency report to verify facts at that time. Deanna is now deceased.
First, unbelievably, the interrogator did not ask Mr. Forgus for a date (not even a year) nor did she ask the location of the incident such as what highway it occurred on or the name of a nearby town even! Ms. Short included an introduction to the interview where she states the witnesses encountered the incident in July of 1947 but there is nothing to base this on in the interview. As we shall see, it is more likely the witnesses encountered something in 1953 and not 1947.
Secondly, from the information Mr.Mantle, the person requesting MUFON’s assistance, initially provided to SAT, it appears Mr. Jesse Slaughter was a Sheriff in Howard County, Texas in the 1930s up to 1940. Subsequent follow-up by SAT revealed there is a gap of ten years until he was again elected Sheriff in 1951 (not 1953 as mentioned below).

I could find no listings for past sheriffs of Howard County. The attachment is an online search of the Big Spring Herald. What I can determine is that Jess Slaughter was sheriff in the thirties. Then lost the position in 1940 and later won re-election in 1953. Deputy C.H. Forgus became deputy under Sheriff Slaughter in 1953.
You can access the Big Spring Herald online and search the articles like I did. I could find no articles in the 1940’s listing Jess Slaughter as Sheriff. I found one article listing him as the Juvenile Officer. The caption below the picture at the bottom of the attachment provides a great deal of information if you can read it.

This makes it unlikely that this was the Roswell crash of July 1947. 1953 or later is the best timeframe for the incident.
Lastly, while I found numerous direct line members of the Forgus and Slaughter families, all attempts to contact them via Facebook and telephone have been unsuccessful. It is my feeling that they do not wish to respond.
All indications are that they did not happen upon the Roswell Crash Incident. Mr. Forgus became a Deputy in 1953. Mr. Slaughter again became a Sheriff in 1951. Best estimate is affair happened in 1953.
The most important aspect of the story is that while no location is given we know from the transcript that the two men were travelling west inside New Mexico.
We also know that according to Google Maps there are only two principal highways between Big Spring Texas and Roswell New Mexico – a northern and a southern route.

The Northern Route-
This route leaves Big Spring on a north-western trajectory and then turns due west to Roswell. The north-western leg of the route utilizes highway 87 north to highway 137 north. The turn westward uses Interstate 380 west for the remainder of the trip into Roswell. The important leg of this trek inside New Mexico from the Texas border to Roswell is approximately 85 miles on Route 380 west.
The Southern Route-
We leave Big Spring Texas heading due west on Route 176. At the Texas into New Mexico border route 176 becomes Rt. 234 and there are multiple routes to travel but in one good scenario described later, Route 234 west meets Route 18 North up to Hobbs and again goes west with Route 62 west to Route 529 west to Route 82 west to Route 285 north which brings you into Roswell from the South. It is this route that is the most promising.
The one caveat is that the Interstate Highway System was only under construction in the late 40s and early 50s. There may have been a more rural road in existence prior to the creation of Interstate 380. Therefore, some parameters may have changed such as location of the road and the elimination of certain landmarks such as a small dry creek bed with a 20 foot drop to the embankment by a large group of trees which is crucial to any continuing investigation.
THE SOUTHERN ROUTE SCENARIO
The critical question is what did the two law enforcement officers see?
Possible resolutions are:
Extraterrestrial Craft with non-human pilots
Military Exercise
Plane Crash (military or civilian)
American VTOL disc crash

Since we no longer have witnesses to clarify their answers, perhaps the only avenue is to find a newspaper account. The southern route scenario offers a resolution.
In the case of Roswell in 1947, thousands of pages of documentation have been scoured including aircraft crashes. The best course of action in this investigation was to pursue leads in 1953 when Forgus became a Deputy Sheriff.
On August 28, 1953, the Reno Evening Gazette ran a small front page story on a military air crash that reads as follows:
ELEVEN AIRMEN ESCAPE IN CRASH
ROSWELL N.M. AUGUST 28, 1953 (AP)
Eleven airmen escaped unhurt last night when their 4 engined B-50 bomber landed wheels up on gently rolling plains 35 miles southwest of Tatum, N.M. in southeast New Mexico. The plane of the 97th bomber wing at Biggs Air Force Base, El Paso Texas and piloted by Chester A. Walter, was on a routine training flight.

If one draws a map southwest of Tatum, the closest highway it approaches on Mr. Forgus and Mr. Slaughter’s southern route is Route 62 west about 42 miles west of Hobbs N.M. and about 10 degrees south of Tatum. It is an almost perfect fit as it is approximately 36 miles southwest of Tatum.
This would coincide with their westward trip shortly before they turned north to Roswell.
There are problems with this August 28th story however. First, there were no dead bodies. All crew members survived. Second, the craft was not circular but had a plane’s fuselage. However, the front of the B-50 bomber had a very unique multi-windowed cockpit that seen straight on could have been construed as disc shaped.
Additionally, Forgus reported the object as 100 feet in diameter. The B-50 was 99 feet long. Coincidence? It was also silver metallic.
It is a stretch that the B-50 accident could have been the object seen by the lawmen but it is also quite reasonable given the circumstances given the color, cockpit shape, month and year etc.
One theory is that the B-50 crash story was only a cover story to obfuscate the real story of a crash of a disc shaped object; a crash where pilots (human or non-human perished).
It is also possible that if it was an American made VTOL disc shaped craft it was attempting to land on the highway but fell short due to mechanical difficulties. This would explain its proximity to the highway.
In 1967 evidence was located at McDill Air Force Base that VTOLS as large as 116 feet in diameter had been built by the U.S. Military.
An alien craft is unlikely in that it probably would not have wanted such a strategically unpleasant location to land if it was having difficulties. However, the two non-human pilot bodies, if accurate, pose a dilemma in this scenario.
RECOMMENDATION AND CONCLUSION
RECOMMENDATION
If there is a MUFON Field Investigator living in the vicinity of Roswell, it may be beneficial to have him drive Route 380 between the Texas border and Roswell to see if he can identify the place described in Mr. Forgus’s deposition.
If Route 380 can be ruled out, the roads between Hobbs, N.M AND Roswell N.M. should be travelled specifically Route 62 west to Route 529 west to Route 82 west to Route 285 north into Roswell to locate a small cliff and riverbed.
If a good location candidate can be found, an excursion to the area would be in order to try and retrieve artefacts.
In the event a FI cannot be enlisted, alternatives would include inquiring of the State Police or even tow truck company dispatchers in the Roswell area for the solicitation of information on a possible location.
CONCLUSION
It seems highly unlikely that Mr. Forgus was forging a story from untruths. His timeframe is off but it seems likely that he came across something unusual in the desert along with Mr. Slaughter. At times his story stretches the truth such as the sheet flapping in the wind allowing him to see parts of the two corpses. However, details such as that they were going to return a prisoner from Roswell to Big Spring are superfluous details a liar would not include.
Unfortunately, the 1999 private investigator did not attempt to get an exact year or location thus crippling efforts 18 years later.
It also seems more likely that the event occurred in 1953 when the U.S. Military was experimenting with Vertical Take off Landing (VTOL) disc shaped craft some of which were 100 feet in diameter and probably piloted by one or two airmen.
It would also be a stretch based on the limited evidence we have to suggest the most likely scenario would be the crash of an alien disc.
If the site cannot be found by a MUFON Field Investigator or other means, the case should be closed out as “INSUFFICIENT DATA.”

We wish to make it clear that we are open minded with regards to the veracity of what Charles Forgus has claimed. We have found a discrepancy in his story as Sheriff Slaughter was not the Sheriff in 1947. We would also like say that we found the MUFON report extremely compelling and we agree with their findings.

I dare say many of those that know far more than me about the Roswell Incident will write it off as it does not fit the known Roswell crash scenario. All I will say is that we are working together to try and find any more information and I leave this ‘Roswell File’ open just-in-case.

Orlando witness reports object hovering over building
A Florida witness at Orlando reported watching a cylinder-shaped object silently hovering over a nearby building, according to testimony in Case 84126 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was driving along Conway Road near the Judge Road intersection when the object was observed hovering over a nearby building.

The witness was driving along Conway Road in Orlando, heading north from Tradeport Avenue at 9:12 p.m. on June 1, 2017, when the incident began.
“This is a common area that planes are landing in, so seeing lights in the sky approaching us was very normal to see,” the witness stated.“I drive down this street almost daily around the same time, so am used to seeing certain sights along the way.”
While approaching a red light at Judge Road, the witness and a sister noticed planes approaching them when one looked out of place.
“I joked about how it could be a UFO because of how odd the flight pattern and lights were. We both kept steady on it; I watching while trying to pay attention to the cars in front of me. It approached us closer and closer and we both got nervous because it was the size of a plane hovering over the building off to the right side of us, maybe 50feet or less away from where we were.”
The two watched as the object hovered over a building, with lights flashing, with no sound.
“We waited to see if we were seeing things, if it was actually moving and maybe we didn’t see the movement for whatever reason. No movement, still hovering over the building and flashing lights. About 10-15 seconds after we realized it was not a plane and that we were in fact seeing a giant object hovering over a building next to us, it disappeared.”

The witness pulled off to the side of the road to see if the lights appeared anywhere.
“Nothing. The area was clear, its path had no obstructions, yet it was nowhere to be seen. So where could it have possibly gone? The rest of the way home, 15 minutes total, we talked about what to do next. Tell someone? File a report? Keep it to ourselves? We are definitely sure of what we saw. This was not normal and definitely not a plane.”
Florida MUFON Field Investigator Robert Andrews investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown UAV.
“In speaking with the witness,” Andrews stated in his report,“she said the sky was clear (no low hanging clouds) and she did not observe any smoke or other anomalies in the area. She remains quite certain that she saw ‘something’ that seemed to be hovering over the buildings with white and blue lights, but has no idea of what it may have been.
“I also considered that maybe there were low clouds and the light reflecting from the ground or overhead aircraft caused an optical illusion for the witness. However, I did not find any evidence to support that theory.
“The location of these building in relation to the airport flight path and the very low altitude of planes normal landing approach would seem to rule out the likelihood of any commercial or private aircraft flying through this area except as in a landing approach.
“The only other plausible scenario is that the witness viewed reflections from street lights, landing aircraft and interior lights of her vehicle reflecting unusual images on the windows of her car. I could not duplicate this occurrence, but I believe other MUFON cases contain many instances of this occurring.

“According to FlightRadar24.com, there were five planes flying over these buildings for landing at 9:04, 9:07, 9:08, 9:09 and 9:21 p.m. This is consistent with the witness estimate of 9:12 p.m. for her sighting.
“Witness said she was fairly certain of the time – plus or minus a few minutes.While I was there, I observed the same landing pattern – planes one to two minutes apart.
“If there had been an aerial obstruction – these planes would have been directed to 17R, which is parallel and about two miles east of runway 18L. While there, I observed planes landing on both runways. Planes landing on the other runway cannot be seen except farther out on their approach because of terrain and distance.”

An Idaho witness at Buhi reported watching three orange-red, rectangle-shaped objects that joined together and disappeared in place, according to testimony in Case 83942 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The event occurred at 10:15 p.m. on May 23, 2017.
“Observed three rectangular bars of light that seemed composed of orbs,” the witness stated.“Orange-red in color.”
The witness observed the three rectangles moving.
“The three bars of light moved smoothly in a horizontal fashion.”
All three lights eventually formed a single light.

“The lights on the left and right joined or moved to join the center light and then blinked out. There was nothing there, after the sky being brightly lit by big orange/red forms.”
Idaho MUFON Assistant State Director James Millard investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown. The witness included one illustration with the report, which was filed on May 24, 2017. The report indicated the witness thought the object was over 500 feet in altitude, with no cloud cover.
After the group of orbs joined together as one light, the light simply disappeared.

The UK government has finally released several UFO documents they have been promising to release for years. The UK government claimed to have released all of their UFO files in 2013. However, in 2014, found 18 others they neglected to include in the original bunch. Although the files are available as of today, they cannot be accessed online. They can only be seen by visiting their office in Kew, a few miles outside of London. This means it may be a few days until we know what is in the files.

The news of the release of the files was posted by online radio station KGRA. An email had been sent from the UK National Archives to Kerry McClure in response to an inquiry about the files. McClure forwarded the response, which includes a link to information about the files, to KGRA. KRGA posted the contents of the email earlier today. Although the UK National Archives has claimed they will be releasing 18 files, only 15 files are represented in the link provided to McClure.
The files may never have been discovered, if it were not for the efforts of John Burroughs. He witnessed an amazing UFO event while in the US Air Force stationed at a base in the UK in 1980. He had discovered the existence of several UFO files he wanted to review while investigating his UFO incident. The UK government said they were releasing all of their UFO files and he would have to wait until they were released with the rest of the UFO documents which were being made public in batches.

Once all of the UFO files were supposedly released, the documents he was looking for where not present. He then asked the UK government to release them, but was not taken seriously. Then, a UK citizen who had read about Burroughs’ efforts made a request for the files as well. He received a response. He was told the files had been overlooked and would be released in about 9 months. That was several years ago. Even a member of the House of Lords made inquiries about why it was taking so long for the files to be released.
Suffice it to say, there has been much anticipation to see these files, but for those who do not live near London, it may be a few more days until we know more about these files.

We received an email from Nick Pope, former UK Ministry of Defence UFO investigator. He writes: “The National Archives decided not to go with a proactive media launch this time around, probably because of the previous adverse publicity about the delay in making these files available – especially as there are still three to come, so they can’t even say this concludes the release project. They essentially shifted from seeing this as a potential good news story about open government and freedom of information to regarding it as a potentially bad news story about delay and bureaucracy. Unfortunately, the perception will be that they slipped this out and hoped people wouldn’t notice until some time afterwards, making media coverage less likely, as journalists tend not to like beginning a story by saying that something interesting happened last month.”
Pope suggests that with enough pressure from the media and/or public, perhaps the UK National Archives will release the files online for free as they did with the previous UFO files. Albeit, the files were only free for a limited time. Unlike the U.S., the British government maintains copyright over government documents and charges for them.

A Washington witness at Sunnyside reported a slow-moving, triangle-shaped object that followed his vehicle along a rural roadway, according to testimony in Case 83989 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness had just gotten off work and was driving home at 10:50 p.m. on May 25, 2017, when the incident began.
“I take the back roads home and got on Factory Road outside of Sunnyside, Washington,” the witness stated.“After about three minutes or so traveling down the road, I noticed an orange light near two red lights in a triangular pattern. The orange light was blinking.”
Thewitness immediately thought the object was a Chinook helicopter.
“I found it strange how low it was to the ground and the lack of sound. I also noticed it was traveling a bit fast to be a helicopter. It flew from south to north.”
The witness then thought that the object might be a drone.
“My speed was about 50 mph, though I was slowing down not wanting to get too close to the object. It crossed the road in front of me and then I proceeded to pass it. I found it to strange – it grabbed my curiosity. An oncoming car passed me, and once it did I pulled into a dirt driveway and turned around – doing a U-turn. I quickly drove back and found that it was out in the same area I had left it.”
The witness then slowed down in the middle of the road with no place to pull over.
“I simply stopped in the middle of road – now able to see a mile infront of me and behind me. I was facing west with my back to the east. It seemed to stop flying south and began to fly west.”

The witness quickly reached for his smartphone and pulled up the camera app.
“I began to record as I drew closer. This was when I noticed a white light, much like a star starting to fly down from above it and near the object. It quickly got my attention as it quickly stopped again and turned 90-degrees and flew south across the road again. Once it had done this, it began to fly west.”
The object was then flying parallel to the road and began to make the witness afraid.
“Though it stopped and then began to fly northwest from its location towards me, I became overwhelmed with fear knowing this wasn’t a plane or a helicopter. Having both my windows down, I would have heard something. I threw my phone in the passenger seat and began to speed off. As I began to pass it, I came as close as I ever was to the object.”
The witness described the object.
“It was a gray triangle, with three orange lights and one red, glowing light in the middle with two small, green lights near the rear. It was hovering. I am now driving back from where I had come from. Heading into Sunnyside on Factory Road. I reached a speed of 97 mph and quickly began to slow down. I felt safer near town, though, now that it was nearly 11 p.m. and no one would be around.”
But that safe feeling quickly dissolved.
“I turned left onto Handford Road, and before getting to Vakima Valley Highway, I turned left onto another road that was near a car dealership and stopped again to see if I could see the object. It was flying west again and was in the same light configuration as when I first saw it – with one blinking, orange light and two red ones. I watched it fly for a short time before it began to fly southwest and I didn’t want it getting too close again. I got back onto Handford Road and onto Yakima Valley Highway driving towards Grandview.”

But once the witness arrived home and got of his vehicle, he saw the craft again.
“It had followed me approximately six miles and was flying southeast, though, I did not turn and I watched it fly in that direction until it was out of sight. I thought about following it, but didn’t want to push my luck as I began to feel afraid again. When I reviewed the video I recorded, the object was not captured due to it being too dark outside, and had stop recording without me pressing pause as I passed the object.”
Sunnyside is a city in Yakima County, Washington, population 15,858.Washington MUFON State Director James Clarkson investigated and closed this case as an Unknown.
“I would point out this case was near the Hanford Nuclear Reservation,” Clarkson stated in his report. “Given the highly unusual shape and lighting configuration, and the lack of sound when the witness had parked his car with all of the windows down, I am classifying this case as a true UAV with a highly credible witness.”

Iowa witness recalls late night UFO close encounter
An Iowa witness at Millerton recalled a UFO incident from the early 90s where the object moved over his vehicle at one point and beamed light onto the vehicle, according to testimony in Case 83673 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

“I can’t remember the exact year and day, but I know that it was between 1990 and 1992,” the witness stated.“It occurred in rural Wayne County, Iowa. I had two young sons at that time. One was around 2 or 3 and the other was 4 or 5 at the time. That’s why I can narrow down the time that it happened. I had been at some friend’s house in the Corydon area that evening. They had two sons the same age as mine and the kids played while we played cards for awhile.”
The hour was late and past the kid’s bedtime, so the witness left to go home.
“The boys fell asleep in the car not far down the road.I was driving eastbound on a county highway east of Millerton. It was between 9-10 p.m. I believe. I noticed a bright flash of light to my left. It was maybe 10 or 15 miles directly north of me hovering low in the night sky. It would flash a bright light every second.”

The witness first thought the object was a helicopter – possibly life flight on its way to Corydon Hospital.
“I soon realized it wasn’t. I continued to glance over at it as I drove another mile or two. It just seemed to hang in the same spot. And the flashing light was just brilliant. Much brighter than any plane or helicopter.”
The witness decided to pull over on the shoulder to see what this object was.
“I drove a Pontiac Sunbird at that time and had the window rolled down while watching it. I shut off the lights and killed the engine. After a few minutes, I noticed the light was a bit brighter as if it had moved closer, yet I never saw it move. Then after another minute, it changed locations again. It was several miles closer to me. This thing moved so fast. It would hover motionless for a short while and then in the blink of an eye it would change locations. In a matter of minutes, it was approximately a half-mile north of me 50-75 feet above a crop field.”
At this point, the witness could see that the flashing light was actually a beam of light shining downward from the craft at about a 75-degree angle and making a full rotation approximately every second.
“I still couldn’t see the craft itself. Then it was suddenly a hundred yards due north hovering over the field. The brilliant beam of light shined all the way to the ground as it rotated in a wide circle. I’d never seen anything like it. It lit up the ground beneath it like daylight. You could see what looked like little dust particles in the light. It was weird. I thought for a moment that I should try to get out of there. But I was really intrigued with this thing. I still couldn’t make out the craft itself.”

Then in the next moment, the witness realized the craft was no longer there.
“No more beam of light, nothing. Before I could even think about it, the car filled with a brilliant flash of light for just a moment. It was almost blinding. There was a peculiar feeling in the air like static electricity that seemed to wash over me.”
The witness then craned his head out the window and looked up.
“Above me was a large area of blackness and I knew it was above me. It was silent. The light wasn’t shining from it. Then for just a little bit, the underneath of it lit up with a bunch of smaller, blinking lights.”
At this point the witness was able to make out the shape and size of it.
“It was larger than I thought. Probably 40-50 feet in diameter and hovered about 40-50 feet above me at maybe a 75-degree angle. If it had tilted to a vertical position, I think I could have touched it. It was the shape of a disc. I thought to myself, “My God. I can’t believe I’m seeing this.’
Then in an instant, the craft was a half mile away.
“With the light beam rotating back down at a 75-degree angle as before. And in the same way that it came to me it left. Hovering for short intervals before zipping to another spot miles away, leaving only a faint streak of light between the two points. It was going east and slightly north. At one point, I estimated it as being probably in the Ottumwa area. Eventually it got far enough away that I couldn’t distinguish it from a star. The last time I could see it flashing I would guess it was perhaps in the Fairfield/Mt. Pleasant area headed in the direction of Burlington.”
The witness was upset over the incident.
“I was pretty shaken by this whole thing and watched it go away partly because I wanted to be certain the thing wasn’t going to turn around and come back. It scared the crap out of me to be honest. The boys didn’t wake up, so they never knew it even happened. When I got home, I called my friend whose house I had been to earlier. He didn’t believe me. Then awhile later, he heard that others had seen something too and had called the sheriff and reported it. They were told that it was a helicopter. I explained to him that it wasn’t, and he sternly replied, ‘I don’t know what you saw, but don’t be telling people about it. They’ll think you’re nuts and throw you in a padded room.’ So I haven’t. For the past 25-plus years.”
Millerton is a city in Wayne County, Iowa, population 45. Iowa MUFON Assistant State Director Beverly Trout investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown. More dubious “MJ-12” documents released from anonymous source
A podcast host claims to have received “Ultra Top Secret” UFO documents outlining a secret government program regarding UFOs. The 47 page documents reviews alleged UFO crashes, the recovery of extraterrestrial spacecraft and alien bodies. One section summarizes a supposed interrogation with an extraterrestrial being.
The documents were posted on the website of the podcast Midnight in the Desert. Midnight in the Desert was created for the return of famous late night paranormal talk show host Art Bell. However, after only a handful of episodes, Bell quit. His producer, Heather Wade, then took the reins.
In the Midnight in the Desert post, it says Wade received the documents “from a trusted source.” The article then states that the documents were sent to UFO researcher Stanton Freidman, known for investigating other alleged MJ-12 documents.
The Midnight in the Desert article says Freidman will look into the documents, but also claims “at this time we can find no evidence of forgery.”

Not everyone agrees. Many have voiced concern. Nick Pope, who investigated UFO for several years for the UK Ministry of Defence told the UK’s Daily Express, “These documents are completely and utterly bogus.”
“The language and the wider feel of these UFO documents is just plain wrong,” Pope continued. “It’s as if someone was playing buzzword bingo with all the words and phrases that excite UFO believers, and throwing in some New Age philosophy for good measure.”
As for the alleged interrogation of an ET, Pope tweeted: “The ‘interview with an alien’ read like a high school student attempting (badly) to write a science fiction short story. Must do better.”
This section does seem to be the most preposterous part of the document. In the beginning of the interview, when asked why they are here, the alien says, in part, it is because they “like trees.” When asked to elaborate, the being responds, “You see, we would hate to see you blow-up such a pretty little planet…”
So why would someone go to the work to fake these documents? Pope says, “As with previous such documents that have surfaced in the US, I suspect they’ve been hoaxed by someone on the fringes of the UFO community, playing an elaborate practical joke to see if they can put one over on the true believers.”
These are not the first “MJ-12” documents to allegedly be leaked by government insiders. The terms MJ-12 and Project Aquarius, an alleged MJ-12 project that is also referenced in the newly released papers, where first mentioned in a document released in the 1980s that where admitted by their author to be fake. Documents continued to be sent to UFO researchers from anonymous sources throughout the 80s and 90s.
The documents have been highly controversial among UFO researchers. Freidman believes he has shown some of them may be legitimate, but admits, most of them are hoaxes. Either way, the information in the documents has been very influential to the modern mythology surrounding alleged UFO conspiracies.
In 1977, scientists working on the search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) recorded an unusually strong radio signal, the origin of which many scientists believe has not been explained. While the most exotic theory is that the signal is a call from ET, a paper published in the Journal of the Washington Academy of Sciences claims the origins of the signal is much more mundane. They think a comet or two caused it. SETI scientists, including the senior astronomer at the SETI Institute, Seth Shostak, and the man who discovered the signal, disagree.

As Shostak puts it in a recent article, the “Wow! Signal” is in the “A-List” of signals recorded by scientists that may potentially have been generated by an intelligent extraterrestrial civilization. It is an exclusive list. Shostak did not mention how long the list is, but it can be argued the “Wow! Signal” is the only signal on that list.
In August of 1977, a signal was captured by a radio telescope called Big Ear at Ohio State University. Upon discovering the signal while reviewing the logs, astronomer Jerry Ehman circled it on the computer printout and wrote “Wow!” off to the side.
The signal was very strong, and according to Shostak, “It had all the characteristics one would anticipate from a signal produced by a deep space transmitter.”
However, despite efforts to capture the signal a second time, it was never heard again.
“So the WOW signal seemed destined to be an enduring mystery of the universe – maybe it really was ET launching a signal in our direction, a whistle that was either very short or very intermittent,” Shostak wrote. “Then again, perhaps it was something else…”
This is where the new paper in the Journal of the Washington Academy of Sciences comes in. The paper is authored by Antonio Paris and Evan Davies. Interestingly, Paris, an astronomer at St. Petersburg College in Florida, also has an interest in UFOs. In fact, he was been an investigator for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), and has lectured on the topic at several UFO conferences.

In the paper, the authors argue that the signal likely came from a comet or two that was not catalogued at the time the signal was detected. That would explain why Ehrman and others would not have known suspected the comet(s).
“Neutral hydrogen is well known for generating radio static at a frequency of 1420 MHz, which is indeed the spot on the dial where the Big Ear overheard the signal,” admits Shostak. However, he continues, “The comet hypothesis, in my opinion, doesn’t work. To begin with, there’s the slightly dismaying fact that I’ve never heard of anyone measuring strong hydrogen signals from a comet, and I’ve spent a lot of time on radio telescopes tuned to 1420 MHz.”
Shostak also points out that there were two receivers that examined the area of the sky the signal was received. The second sweep, which was only 70 seconds later.
“But the WOW signal only appeared in one of the feeds,” Shostak continued. “Of course, that could be explained if the signal simply went off the air in the time between observation by the first and second feed. Terrestrial interference could be compatible with this requirement, easy peasy. And a signal from impatient aliens could too.”
Comets, on the other hand, do not turn on and off. They move slowly, and should have been detected in the second feed.
Ehman recently told Live Science in a recent interview that he does not buy the comet theory for the same reasons Shostak presented.
“We should have seen the source come through twice in about 3 minutes: one response lasting 72 seconds and a second response for 72 seconds following within about a minute and a half,” Ehman told Live Science. “We didn’t see the second one.”

Paris admits this is an issue. However, he suggested to Live Science that the telescope might not have detected the signal in the second feed due to an error with the telescope itself.
“There is some data out there to suggest the issue is at the telescope end and not the phenomenon itself,”Paris told Live Science.
So the mystery continues. However, Paris has not finished making his case. He plans to continue to observe comets and the reasons behind why they create the signals.
“There have been a handful of studies, but I suspect we are the first to specifically build a 10-meter radio telescope to specifically look at this type of solar system body,” he said.
A Georgia witness at TyTy reported watching a group of military jets that appeared to be escorting a red-orange sphere at about 600 feet in altitude, according to testimony in Case 82496 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was outside stargazing in his backyard with a telescope at 10 p.m. on February 21, 2017, when the incident occurred.
“I first heard low speed jet engines north of me,” the witness stated.“I turned to see what it was. I saw a row of flashing white strobe lights with a redish-orange ball or sphere in the middle coming toward me moving real slow.”
The witness watched as six “fighter jets”flew overhead at approximately 500 feet.
“One jet was approximately 500 feet to the west of the redish-orange sphere. Another jet was approximately 500 feet to the east of the redish-orange sphere and four more jets were side-by-side following about 1,000 feet behind this redish-orange sphere.”
The witness was overwhelmed with two aspects of the sighting.
“What was so strange about it was how low and slow they were all flying and flew directly over the top of me.”

The witness described the sphere.
“This redish-orange sphere looked to be about 30 feet in diameter. It was kind of dim with no strobe lights of any kind. After they flew over, the jet on the west side of the sphere backed off and turned left and got right behind the redish-orange sphere. After that, I couldn’t see them anymore because of the trees that are around one mile south of me. As far as I could tell, they all kept on flying straight south. Now if they should have been flying southeast, they would have been flying towards Moody Air Force Base. I don’t know of any airport that would have been straight south or me. Any help on this ordeal would be more than I have now. This took place in southern Georgia 60 miles north of the Georgia-Florida state line, and 100 miles east of Columbus, Georgia, and 100 miles west of Waycross, Georgia, and 100 miles south of Macon, Georgia, or 10 miles west of Tifton.
Ty Ty is a city in Tift County, Georgia, population 716. No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on March 4, 2017.

Georgia MUFON Field Investigator Brion Trainor and State Section Director Jeremy Haslam investigated this case and closed it as an Unknown.
“The evidence clearly leads to the conclusion that this is an Unknown Other sighting event,” the investigators stated in their report.“However, the 30-foot, glowing, reddish-orange orb was being escorted by very recognizable jet planes. This begs the questions: 1) Did the jet plane’s pilots know what the orb was that they were escorting; and 2) What was their destination?”

A Missouri witness at Mexico recalled a UFO incident from 1977 when she and her then 10-year-old son encountered an object following them along a rural roadway, according to testimony in Case 83874 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The incident occurred during the summer of 1977 – approximately June 17.
“I was returning home after driving to a nearby town 30 miles away to see the movie, “Chariots of the Gods.” It was approximately between 9-10p.m. CST. I was driving on a blacktop road rather than the highway since it was a shorter way to get home. As I was driving north, I noticed ahead of me, and to the left of the road,a fiery image about treetop level and I mentioned to my son that it must be a barn on fire.”
About two minutes later, the witness reached a curve in the road.
“The fiery image moved from its location left of the road and instantly appeared on the right side of the road. I knew then it was a UFO due to how quickly it maneuvered direction. I was then driving east with the UFO following me to my right – about 100 feet higher than my van – and it stayed maybe two car lengths ahead of me. The UFO seemed to be traveling the same speed as I was, which by then I had probably slowed to about 40 mph.”

The witness continued to watch the object.
“After about 30-45 seconds of following us, it instantaneously appeared about one-quarter mile ahead and to the left side of the road. It was stopped and hovered above a grove of trees.”
Since the object had stopped, the witness did not want to keep driving.
“There was a house there, so I pulled into someone’s driveway and thought about going up to their door to let them know of the UFO so people wouldn’t think I was just making it all up. But figured, as sure as I did, it would disappear. My son thought I should keep driving, but I told him I didn’t want to be abducted or have my car engine fail.”
As the object hovered, the witness was able tomake out the shape and a few features.
“It was disc-shaped with a seemingly darker band around the center of it and a lot of fire from the underneath. Either the flames below were so bright that they illuminated the craft or the moonlight was such that I couldn’t get a good view of it (or both).”
After about four to five minutes of wondering what to do, the witness decided to attempt to communicate with the object.

‘I said, ‘I know that you can hear me because you all are a lot more intelligent and advanced than we are, so please just go on and leave us alone.’”
After about 10 seconds, the UFO moved away at “lightning speed in an upward and south-easterly direction” anddisappeared from view.
“The entire time of the sighting, I encountered no traffic in either direction. However, as soon as it disappeared, there was traffic again. The image of the UFO actually looked a lot like the spaceship image on the album cover of the band “Boston’s” first album in 1976. I have since regretted that I didn’t try to make better communication because I would like to communicate with them. Evidently, they were seeking me out, but I just had no idea of their intent.”
