Why Did The Russians Attacked UFO ? It Wasn’t The Outcome They Wanted
Why Did The Russians Attacked UFO ? It Wasn’t The Outcome They Wanted
Before starting, I would like to say that we don’t know yet exactly how many alien species are visiting our world.
Maybe some of them just gardeners, or they are observing our evolution like we are watching how worms are evolving.
The worst could be that if Russians “eliminate” friendly aliens this might be turn for humanity’s destruction.
Declassified CIA report claims that, russian soldiers are zapped by aliens after they attacked by surface to air missile.
When:January 2019 in Alabama and California, with 2016 similar sighting in Texas also being recently reported
Where:Lewisville (Dallas area in 2016), Alabama in 2019, and Los Angeles in 2019
What: Multiple bright white round objects appearing in sky and making strange formations
January 22nd, 2019 Update: A new MUFON report (case 97877) detailing similar UFOs over Los Angeles on January 19th, 2019 has been submitted. Check out this recent testimony and photo and compare to other reports below:
I had been out watching for the Delta Heavy launch because I wanted to take some photos. It was delayed by some minutes. When the launch began I started snapping photos. I couldn't see if the camera had captured anything. Finally, I saw the contrail of the missile in my viewer. So, I began snapping. I was hoping to photograph the separation of the tanks. No such luck. What surprised me is that the contrail went all the way across the sky.
When I came back to my apartment I connected the camera to my computer and began looking at the photos. The first few showed only sky. Then, I saw this one. My jaw dropped. The sun was behind the tree and the missile was off to the right.I missed photographing the missile but I got what appears to be a swarm of UFOs along the flight path of the Delta rocket. The dots did not appear in any of the other photos mainly because I was moving across the sky trying to continue to photograph the rocket.
Original story: A really intriguing UFO report from 2016 has just now been submitted to TexasUFOs. Although the witness did not get photo or video of the encounter, they found a video showing a similar event in Alabama from this year - this video shows multiple bright white circular objects swirling around the daytime sky. The UFOs on video were also caught on radar and so were not likely to be birds.Rick writes:
It was like the spiraling formation described in the video linked below, only it was smaller and more compact. It looked like a silver, double-helix shaped swarm of objects spiraling horizontally from east to west. We were in the Vista Ridge Mall parking lot (now known as Music City Mall). My daughter was with me when we saw it and other people getting out of their cars to walk into the mall stopped to look at it too. As far as I know, no one ever reported it to anyone.
Witness described UFOs as similar to the ones shown in video below
Witness also wrote that the objects looked like they were traveling in and out of formation, similar to double-helix:
Is this the same phenomenon that was witnessed in Texas? As always, you be the judge. Share your thoughts in the comments below, or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
UFOs, warp drives, stargates: Freedom of Information query reveals secret list of Pentagon research projects
UFOs, warp drives, stargates: Freedom of Information query reveals secret list of Pentagon research projects
These bizarre experiments and programs are the stuff of conspiracy theory. But now it’s been revealed it was true the entire time.

First ever UFO footage declassified
The United States Defence Intelligence Agency has one great fear: that someone, somewhere, has an unknown advantage … a secret weapon that could topple the world’s sole superpower from its perch. So when it hears talk of UFOs, stargates and warp drives — it takes it seriously.
Seriously enough to spend some serious money on.
Documents released under a freedom of information request confirm the DIA went full “X-Files” and established teams to examine almost every seemingly outlandish idea it encountered.
The declassified documents don’t reveal a whole lot more than the titles assigned to 38 secret research programs. But they do detail some of the speculative subjects that were being investigated.
Aftergood wasn’t impressed.
“I think anyone who looks at these titles will scratch their heads and wonder what on earth the Defence Intelligence Agency was thinking,” science and technology blog Motherboard reports Aftergood as saying. “These are the kinds of topics you pursue when you have more money than you know what to do with.”
BLACK PROJECTS
Nuclear-powered deep space propulsion. Invisibility cloaking. Wormholes through space. Biomaterials.
The existence of research projects involving the likes of NASA, DARPA and private firms probing these subjects are already widely known. But their potential ties to US Defence Department ‘black money’ was not.
From the outset it seemed a farfetched idea for NASA to be studying. But not so much if prodded — and funded — by the DIA.
And they have competition.
Icarus Interstellar director and theoretical astrophysicist Richard Obousy is also looking into the idea of interstellar warp drives powered by dark energy through alternate universes. But he’s also branching out into the slightly more practical idea of nuclear propulsion, among others.
Stargates leapt into the public conscious out of nowhere with the release of the 1994 movie Stargate, and the follow-up long-running TV series of the same name.
How advanced would aliens need to be to contact Earth?
We don’t even know if wormholes actually exist. But EarthTech International Inc hasn’t hidden the fact it’s been looking into the idea of creating one capable of traversing space and time. “Our research interests include theories of space-time, gravity and cosmology; studies of the quantum vacuum; modifications of standard theories of electrodynamics; interstellar flight science; and the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, specifically as these topics may apply to developing innovative space propulsion and sources of energy,” its website boasts.
And a multitude of studies, from just as many sources, have been exploring ways of turning Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak into reality.

‘ANOMALOUS AEROSPACE THREATS’
“I loved science fiction when I was younger,” Aftergood told Motherboard. “Today I love good government. So I was not especially amused.”
US politics is a murky affair. Particularly when it comes to spending defence funs. For example, military bases aren’t necessarily placed where they’re needed. Instead, they often go into the electorates of the most powerful lobbyists.
And the DIA’s secret research funding appears no different.
Glowing Auras and ‘Black Money’: The Pentagon’s Mysterious U.F.O. Program
The shadowy program began in 2007 and was largely funded at the request of Harry Reid, the former Senate majority leader, who has had a longtime interest in space phenomena.

If anyone says they have the answers, they’re fooling themselves.
We don’t know the answers but we have plenty of evidence to support asking the questions. This is about science and national security. If America doesn’t take the lead in answering these questions, others will.
The Anomalous Aerospace Threats unit lasted just five years before it was shut down in 2012. And not all of its spend was classified ‘top secret’.
Turns out, much of the money was channelled through then Senate majority leader Democrat Harry Reid to his close friend, Robert Bigelow — an alien visitation conspiracy theorist also involved in developing space habitats for NASA.
Why is that of the tens of thousands of reports of UFO’s since the iconic radio broadcast of Orson Welle’s “War of the World’s” terrified the nation in 1938, have none been reported by astronomers manning the observatories across our pale blue dot?
Is it because some leading astrophysicists such as Great Britain’s Martin Rees and Paul Davies at Arizona State University, who believe that advanced alien civilizations may be a billion or more years older than the human species have technology that would be unrecognizable by our primitive means.
Davies believes that advanced alien technology may exist that is “beyond matter.” That might have no fixed size or shape; have no well-defined boundaries. Is dynamical on all scales of space and time. Or, conversely, does not appear to do anything at all that we can discern. Does not consist of discrete, separate things; but rather it is a system, or a subtle higher-level correlation of things. Are matter and information, Davies asks, all there is? Five hundred years ago, Davies observes, “the very concept of a device manipulating information, or software, would have been incomprehensible. Might there be a still higher level, as yet outside all human experience, that organizes electrons?
If so, this “third level” would never be manifest through observations made at the informational level, still less at the matter level.
The “appearance of this Other” might be imminent, warns China’s preeminent science-fiction author of The Three-Body Problem, and that it might result in our extinction. “Perhaps in ten thousand years, the starry sky that humankind gazes upon will remain empty and silent,” he writes in the postscript to one of his books. “But perhaps … Continue readingFrom the X Files –“China’s Philosopher of Alien Civilizations Warns of First Contact”
Closer to the reality of 2019, astrophysicist Jason Wright at Penn State University has an solid, verifiable answer: astronomers haven’t observed any unidentified objects. It’s that simple he says. In a 2013 post, Astronomers and UFOs in his AstroWright blog, he wrote that “astronomers study big swaths of the sky all the time, and with much more sophisticated equipment than the cameras that have captured those iconic images of extraterrestrial UFOs. I tell them we don’t see any UFOs.”
Wright uses entry in the Astronomer’s Telegram as an example. The “Telegram” is a forum where astronomers can quickly disseminate information about new, interesting, or strange things they discover with their telescopes and cameras –so, yes, some astronomers do just “look through” telescopes all night trying to discovery new “stars,” Wright observes.
“I do not believe that most advanced alien civilizations will be biological,” says Susan Schneider of the University of Connectict and the Institute for Advanced Studies at Princeton .”The most sophisticated civilizations will be postbiological, forms of artificial intelligence or alien superintelligence.” Schneider is one of the few thinkers—outside the realm of science fiction— … Continue reading“Alien Artificial Intelligence is Out There” –And It’s Billions of Years Old (A 2018 Most Viewed)
In December of 2013, astronomers using RadioAstron, a 10 meter radio telescope in an elliptical orbit around the Earth, astronomers discovered a spacecraft orbiting the Earth that wasn’t in their database and quickly informed the world about their discovery. Just as quickly they determined that it was actually an object that just happened to have been overlooked by their database, and announced the resolution to the issue.
What did not happen, Wright says tongue in cheek, “is that NASA sent its goons to quiet the astronomers, or phone calls to the POTUS to send national security officers to red alert 5, or astronomers quickly opened up Photoshop to destroy the evidence.”
“Now, I don’t expect this example to convince hard-core UFOlogists who engage in highly developed conspiratorial thinking,” Wright concludes, “but I hope it sheds some light for others on the chasm between popular misconceptions of how extraterrestrial UFO’s might be real, and the reality of our understanding of all those lights in the sky.”
In 2009, alien enthusiasts all around the world were pulled to a state of ecstasy when multiple UFO sightings were reported in Turkey. After the mass sighting, a team of experts at the Council for Scientific and Technological Research studied about the unidentified flying object sighting, and in 2017, they concluded that the clips were completely authentic, and were not subjected to any kind of editing.
Now, videos of similar UFOs have been released by popular conspiracy theoryYouTubechannel Mavi777. The conspiracy theory channel claims that the clips showing two UFOs were apparently shot from the skies of Michigan a few days back.
YouTube: Mavi777
Video 2009:
The UFO spotted in Michigan seems to be triangular in shape, and we can see glowing lights on their finely cut edges. Interestingly, at first glance, the UFO above Michigan skies seems very similar to the flying objects that were spotted in Turkey.
The video uploaded by Mavi777 soon went viral, and conspiracy theorists were quick to conclude that alien life is a reality. Many conspiracy theorists, after analyzing the video started arguing that aliens used to visit the earth on sophisticated flying vessels, and they even claim that governments all across the world are aware of their existence.
In the meantime, some viewers of Mavi777 put forward a very different theory. As per these people, the UFO spotted in the Michigan skies has nothing to do with aliens, but it is actually a secret military vehicle conducting a routine night check. Some of these people believe that triangular vessels like the alleged TR-3B are being used by the United States Air Force to spy on other countries.
The new UFO sighting was reported just a few days after another flying object was spotted coming out of a Mexican volcano. The video was initially uploaded to YouTube by a user named 'Kat Martin 2016', and it gained popularity after Scott C Waring, a popular UFO researcher shared the discovery on his website 'UFO Sightings Daily'.
Even though UFO sightings have been reported widely worldwide, experts reveal that most of these videos are fabricated for clickbait needs.
One eagle-eyed conspiracy theorist spotted a strange bright light hovering near the mouth of the 5,426 metre tall volcano, colloquially named El Popo. The sighting was made on webcams which constantly monitor the volcano. In the video of the sighting, a bright light can be seen darting around the source of the volcano, moving erratically in a circular motion.
YouTube user Kate Martin2016 quickly uploaded film to the video-sharing website, asking if what she saw was a genuine UFO or if there was a simpler explanation such as a bug.
She wrote alongside the video: “Could be anything from a UFO to a bug.
“Interesting how it is still, then zooms off in the same direction it came from though! I don't know, I have seen bugs look that way on film, but it seems pretty big.”
However, other conspiracy theorists are convinced it is a UFO and more so, is evidence that aliens are using the volcano as a base.

Prominent alien hunter Scott C Waring wrote on his blog, UFO Sightings Daily: “This particular volcano is famous for its UFO sightings over the last five years.
“I personally have recorded about ten videos of flying objects near the mouth of the volcano in the past.
“I believe the UFO is hovering over the left side of the volcano it pick up or drop off passengers or cargo for the alien base that sits 4-6km below the volcano.

“Even the locals have reported seeing UFOs and even alien creatures on the volcano, so this video is not a surprise, but is excellent evidence that an alien base does exit there.”
Some people simply were not having it however, offering a more logical explanation.
YouTuber black hole commented: “Relax guys, it is just a flying lamp.”
Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action. Ian Fleming wrote that. While it hardly seems responsible to suggest that three sightings of the same “UFO” is equivalent to “enemy action” (don’t attack UFOs, literally nothing good could ever come from that), it’s a good quote and there’s a truth in there. Three separate sightings of the same weird thing in sky over the course of one week suggests that, despite the impossibility of identifying that weird thing, something’s puttering around up there. In early January, in the city of Hull, East Yorkshire, England, multiple witnesses reported seeing aglowing UFOon separate occasions and at different times of the day.
Artist’s rendition of orb UFOs
First, on January 6th, Hull Live reported that a woman and her aunt had seen a strange glowing red light hovering low in the sky while walking down the street at approximately 5:40 PM. The woman snapped a picture of the UFO and described the sighting:
“It didn’t seem to be moving and it just seemed really weird as it definitely wasn’t a laser, a helicopter or another light that was supposed to be there – it was just stationary in the sky and we thought it could have been a UFO.
As soon as we saw it, we took a picture of it on the phone, and when we were walking back from the shop, the red ball was still there – it was really freaky and shook us up a bit as it made us think that something else is out there.”
“Something else is out there” might be the most vague phrase ever used by anybody, but OK. The woman said that when she got home she showed the picture to her partner, who then went to the location of the sighting to try and get a video, but the UFO had disappeared.
On its own, that sighting would be pretty meaningless. It’s a red light in the sky in a populated area. There’s a thousand different explanations for that. Yet, on January 9th, Hull Livereported that another woman had come forward with a sighting. A 31-year-old woman says that at roughly 1:30 AM on New Years day, she was in bed and falling asleep when she heard a loud bang. She jumped up, thinking that it might be an intruder and looked outside. According to the woman:
“I thought it may have been someone booting in my gate to get my children’s bikes, so I peeked out through the blinds only to be met with a massive red orb in the sky opposite my street hovering above the local field.
My heart skipped a beat and I shut my blinds and dived back in bed because I was too nervous to look back out.”
On January 11, a third sighting was reported. This sighting occurred on Thursday, January 4th. A family was walking to a shopping center at approximately 4:45 PM when they saw a “scary, multicolored UFO” appear in the sky for a brief second. According to the unnamed witness, the object was circular and had lights of various colors and disappeared in the blink f an eye. However, 15 minutes later, the “UFO” showed up again, and the family was able to take a picture (you can see the picture here). According to the witness:
“We saw it again when we got to top of Midmere off Dorchester Road. It was flashing red, blue, green, yellow, all sorts of colours and when we blinked it disappeared into thin air.
It was circular in shape and we thought it was a plane at first but it was moving too quickly and it wasn’t shaped like one. It was flickering all different colours, normally a plane is one or two different colours when you see it. It was quite scary to see.”
This is actually pretty accurate.
So are these sightings related? The first two sightings aren’t reported as being anything other than a glowing red orb, while the third apparently upped its lighting budget. Of course, the third sighting also happened while it was still sort of light out. Do aliens use different headlights depending on the time of day? The picture of the third UFO definitely looks like it could be some sort of craft, but it could also be a drone. Drones are small and quick. Because of their size, they can present the illusion that they’re further away and faster than they actually are. At the same time, they make a pretty distinctive sound, and one that we’re all kind of used to at this point, so it’s hard to say.
It will be worth keeping an eye on Hull to see if any other UFOs show up, or if anyone crashes a drone.

What is it about UFOs that we can’t stop looking for them?
Is it true that we are not alone in the Universe? When will we be certain about the existence of extraterrestrial life forms? Will “they” contact us someday? Interrogations of this nature had been made since the beginning of humankind. Different cultures have attempted to explain the existence of life as we know it outside the planet. In most cases, their closest guess has been through those famous sightings of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) that occur from time to time. These particular events have proven to be reason enough for thousands of people around the world to obsess with this topic since ancient times. Even as we speak, there are lots of people trying to capture a UFO sighting and prove non-believers wrong.
This global UFO obsession can be traced back to ancient Egypt, around 1480, BCE. An ancient document called Tulli Papyrus (even though it’s not a papyrus per se), which belonged to the pharaoh Thutmose III, describes the sighting of “fiery discs” in the sky.
Being that Ancient Egyptians were experienced astronomers, it seems unlikely that they could’ve mistaken this with an astronomical or weather circumstance. Yet it was so long ago, that even by reading the document’s translation, we can’t be sure what they really saw:
“In the year 22, of the third month of winter, sixth hour of the day […] among the scribes of the House of Life it was found that a strange Fiery Disk was coming in the sky. It had no head. The breath of its mouth emitted a foul odor. Its body was one rod in length and one rod in width. It had no voice. It came toward His Majesty’s house. Their heart became confused through it, and they fell upon their bellies. They [went] to the king, to report it. His Majesty [ordered that] the scrolls [located] in the House of Life be consulted. His Majesty meditated on all these events which were now going on.
After several days had passed, they became more numerous in the sky than ever. They shined in the sky more than the brightness of the sun, and extended to the limits of the four supports of heaven […] Powerful was the position of the Fiery Disks."
In Ancient India, they also had their own version of UFO sightings. Among the Indian Vedic literature, there are multiple descriptions of “flying machines” that were eventually named Vimanas (sanskrit word for "measuring out, traversing"). These aircrafts also were found in 3000-year old temple carvings. These documents haven’t been completely translated, so we can’t fully understand what Ancient Indians were talking about. Fortunately, the limited documents available (translated by Dr. Ruth Reyna from the University of Chandigarh) do reveal very interesting facts about these mythical writings.
It seems that some of these documents contain directions for building an interstellar spaceship calledAstras. According to Dr. Reyna, these aircrafts were anti-gravitational, and could be used withlaghima(an ancient unknown power within the human condition strong enough to make people levitate). These texts also suggested the key to being invisible (antima) and becoming as heavy as lead (garima).
Fast forward to the Renaissance. In 1561, the city of Nuremberg witnessed one of the most intriguing sightings at that time. A “celestial phenomenon” lighted up the German sky, which was later described by diverse authors as an extraterrestrial battle. After the shocking event, a news article describing the event was spread. The text included an illustration with a woodcut engraving by Hans Glaser:
"(...) At first there appeared in the middle of the sun two blood-red semi-circular arcs, just like the moon in its last quarter. And in the sun, above and below and on both sides, the color was blood, there stood a round ball of partly dull, partly black ferrous color. Likewise there stood on both sides and as a torus about the sun such blood-red ones and other balls in large number, about three in a line and four in a square, also some alone. In between these globes there were visible a few blood-red crosses, between which there were blood-red strips, becoming thicker to the rear and in the front malleable like the rods of reed-grass, which were intermingled, among them two big rods, one on the right, the other to the left, and within the small and big rods there were three, also four and more globes. These all started to fight among themselves, so that the globes, which were first in the sun, flew out to the ones standing on both sides, thereafter, the globes standing outside the sun, in the small and large rods, flew into the sun.”
It’s no surprise that even at the hardest times, UFOs were messing with people. During World War II, metallic spheres and lights were spotted in more than one occasion by bomber crews in the European and Pacific area. These aerial mysteries were later called "foo fighters," a term that turned out to be commonly used for UFO sightings at that moment.
The first sighting of this kind occurred in November 1944, when the Bristol Beaufighter crew and intelligence officer Fred Ringwald were flying along the Rhine north of Strasbourg. These pilots reported “fast-moving round glowing objects” that were suspiciously following them. These mysterious objects were described as fiery and glowing. Pilots reported that the aircrafts never displayed hostility, but seemed to be flying in formation for a while, and then took very interesting turns in the air before vanishing. This sighting (alongside other similar cases at that time) gained popularity but couldn’t be fully explained.
UFO obsession has clearly reached the contemporary world. A very particular case occurred four years ago in Houston, Texas. People registered on their cell phone a ring of lights that flew during a thunderstorm. The photographs revealed an object formed with lights that seemed to be supporting a bigger structure, but the video footage states a different story. The lights that originally were arranged in a circle start to move independently in and out of formation
Dr. Carolyn Sumners, vice president for Astronomy at the Houston Museum of Natural Science, shared a very intriguing opinion on the matter: “I think the trick in UFOs is figuring out what else they could be… It’s easy to say that could be the aliens.” Also, former FBI Special Agent Ben Hansen had some interesting insights to share:
"One of the most intriguing aspects of the case is that a series of still photos began appearing on the Internet the next day from different Instagram and Twitter users. Allegedly, the photos were taken by different people from different parts of the city. The nature of social media makes it difficult to track down the original posters of much of the content we receive, but it does further support the claim that there were many witnesses to a spectacular UFO event that evening."
Did all of these cases really happen? Are these documents proof of something we’ve been waiting to answer for a long time? Or are they just manipulated footage that keep believers happy? Either way, UFO sightings will probably still happen in the future; hopefully, we’ll find a clear explanation to them.

Nasa says bright lights over Georgia were ‘not a meteor’
Nasa says that a series of slow, bright lights seen across the southeastern United States on Monday evening “was not a meteor or fireball”.
The space agency says that from the data it currently has about the event, which was caught on camera and reported more than 150 times on the American Meteor Society website (and more “enthusiastically” on Twitter), indicates it was too slow to be a natural (and well timed) visitor from above.
Nasa says that a series of slow, bright lights seen across the southeastern United States on Monday evening "was not a meteor or fireball".
The space agency says that from the data it currently has about the event, which was caught on camera and reported more than 150 times on the American Meteor Society website (and more "enthusiastically" on Twitter), indicates it was too slow to be a natural (and well timed) visitor from above. One witness said the event was marked by, "two bright objects close together, both with long tails...gradually separated as they crossed the sky".
Instead Nasa thinks the object, which moved at about 14,500 miles per hour across the night sky at around 12.30am, was possibly the reentry of a piece of space debris.
Exactly what the debris was is not clear, however. Bill Cooke, Nasa's head of the Meteoroid Environment Office, said that the object was reported to "have multiple colours and to have broken up into multiple pieces".
Below are some of the videos captured of the event:
"It wasn't a meteor, it moved too slowly. This thing hit the atmosphere moving between 14,000 and 16,000 miles per hour," said Cooke. While that sounds fast, meteors move at 24MPH or slower... and the angle it hit the atmosphere was very shallow, that's not typical of a meteor either."
What it definitely was not, despite what legions of Twitter sky watchers had to say, was an alien spacecraft. "There are four distinct objects, a bright object ahead of the main one... and two fainter ones after that... That's typically what you see in a re-entry," he said. So no, not aliens -- but not an asteroid either. While that might have been pleasing in PR terms for the team at Asteroid Day, it's probably a good thing for the people living directly below the event.

DAVENPORT, Wash. - Some 160 UFO sightings were reported in Washington state last year - about one every 55 hours on average, according to the National UFO Reporting Center.
The center, based in Davenport, Wash., receives UFO reports from all around the world, but says it makes no claims as to the validity of the information in any of these reports.
“Obvious hoaxes have been omitted, however most reports have been posted exactly as received in the author's own words," the center says. "We hope that this information will prove to be useful to the general public and the UFO community at large.”
The center reports that Washington state has the third-highest number of total sightings in its database, behind California (No. 1) and Florida (No. 2).
The reports from the Evergreen State are diverse. Many described triangular- or cigar-shaped objects, spheres, lights, disks, fireballs and even formations of multiple objects.
The reports came from all over the state at all times of the day and night. Some sightings lasted only two or three seconds while others continued for several minutes or, in rare cases, an hour or more.
Some examples:
Oct. 24 sighting by a former pilot in University Place: "Object was spherical in shape and emitted a brilliant, extremely coherent orange glow. ... The object made zero noise. As it approached my direction it just skimmed the bottom of the cloud layers, moving through cloud material and lighting it up with the same orange color it was emitting. It sped up and slowed down erratically and quickly, moving very much as a living creature would as apposed to human aircraft or drone would. ... It was quite strange."
Dec. 7 sighting in Issaquah: "I was at a gas station taking my dog for a walk. At approx. 18:20 I saw a starfish-shaped object floating and changing shape. It was covered in small bright red colored lights. Floating quickly. It was visible for 11 seconds and quickly disappeared. It made no noise."
June 24 sighting from a passenger in a Boeing 737 near Mount St. Helens: "Altitude 23,000 ft, heading 295 degrees mag, craft descended out of clouds off left wing tip. Closed to 5 miles or so out. Held formation for appx 30 to 45 seconds then ascended at almost nose up 45 degrees into clouds in what seemed instantly. Time 8:15 Seattle time. Just east of volcano on horizon. (The report notes that the witness is a pilot and experienced aircraft mechanic of "unimpeachable integrity.")
May 26 sighting in Auburn: "Last night on an evening bike ride with my fiance, we saw objects steadily heading up into the sky. I counted 8 in all. We saw a helicopter approaching than turn away. Others on social media heard helicopters over Auburn for 3 plus hours around the same time, no one found out why."
April 2 sighting in Kittitas: "I was outside smoking, when I noticed flashing in the distance. Grabbed my cell phone to zoom in on object. I started recording the object. It would move in a circular motion. Flash red, blue, white, green. Resembled a fireball of energy bursting repeatedly. Move across the sky in a unpredictable manner. I was terrified."
Feb, 23 sighting in Wenatchee: "I noticed ... 3 lights forming a massive triangle these were moving fairly slow but perfectly in unison with each other, then right next to it there was another one and behind it another one, there were about 5 to 6 giant triangles that I saw all moving together. ... I ran inside and grabbed my camera and tried to get a picture of the formation but could only get 2 lights in the pictures I took."
Jan. 25 sighting reportedly seen by multiple witnesses in Yakima: "Three of us watched these Lights blink off and on as they did not move (in a clear sky). Then suddenly three smaller craft arrived. They showed up out of nowhere! Two moved slow to the right and one began to climb at an incredible rate higher then the other objects and it was very bright. As we watch this the largest object began to turn ... and I can see that it's disk-shaped, and it's huge! Then suddenly the area it was in seemed to magically have a cloud for it to vanish behind..it was as if it made it's own camo, and it was gone (for 13 minutes) ... and now it's back!!!!
The National UFO Reporting Center said it has recently seen a high volume of prank calls on its hotline, “typically dozens per day we suspect that the same problem may spill over to the stream of incoming written reports.”
However, it said, “there are, nevertheless, many excellent reports, submitted by anonymous parties, that deserve a reader’s attention, so an anonymous report is not necessarily unreliable.”

Well, I just got finished watching the latest episode of the new History Channel show, Project Blue Book. The episode’s title: “The Flatwoods Monster.” If you know your UFO history, you’ll know the story. If you don’t, here’s a summary from me from me on the strange matter: On the night of September 12, 1952, something terrifying descended upon the small, West Virginian town of Flatwoods. Precisely what it was remains a mystery to this very day. All that can be said for sure is that it was hideous, fear-inducing and downright monstrous. It has, appropriately, become known asthe Flatwoods Monster. Situated in Braxton County and dominated by a mountainous, forested landscape, Flatwoods is a distinctly small town – that much is apparent from the fact that, today, its population is less than four hundred. Back in 1952, it was even less. On the night in question, however, the town found its population briefly added to by one visitor from…well…no-one really knows where.
It all began as the sun was setting on what was a warm, still, September evening. A group of boys from Flatwoods were playing football in the town’s schoolyard when they were frozen to the spot by the sight of a brightly lit, fiery object that shot overhead, provoking amazement and wonder in the process. All that the boys could be sure of was that the object appeared to be either egg-shaped or circular. Its color fluctuated from orange to fiery red. As the stunned children watched in awe, they saw the object begin to descend – at a high rate of speed, no less – and then appear to come down on one of Flatwood’s largest hilltops. Not surprisingly, being kids, they saw this as a big adventure looming large. The result: they, with a woman named Kathleen May and a recent U.S. Army recruit, Eugene Lemon, headed off for the scene of all the action. It wasn’t long before the group reached the hill in question – and with nightfall rapidly closing in.

The first thing the group noticed, as they reached the darkened peak, was something brightly lit within the trees. What it was, no-one had a clue. But, it clearly wasn’t the lights of a farmhouse, truck, or car. Suddenly, the air was filled with a sickening odor – not unlike that of devilish brimstone. That was not a good sign. To their credit, however, they pushed on, determined to figure out the true nature of the source behind the lights. They soon found out: as the air became filled with a strange, sizzling sound, nothing less than a pair of self-illuminated red eyes could be seen getting ever closer. Kathleen May had the presence of mind to bring a flashlight with her and she quickly focused it on the eyes. In doing so, she also lit up the abominable creature that possessed those fiery eyes.
Looming before the now-hysterical band of intrepid souls was an approximately ten-feet-tall, floating monster, which appeared to be humanoid in shape, and which had a large black cowling behind its head – that gave the entire head a kind of “Ace of Spades” appearance – and that was possibly even cloaked. Maybe. Oddly, its lower half was ice-cream cone-shaped and had wires and cables running from it. This issue of the cone-shaped lower portion led flying saucer sleuths to later suggest the monster my actually have been encased within some kind of remotely piloted vehicle.
As the creature then turned its attention to the group, and wildly fired laser-like beams from its eyes, the brave band was suddenly brave no more. They didn’t wait to see what might happen next. One and all fled, screaming – possibly for their lives. Mrs. May breathlessly shouted to the boys to follow her to her home, which they all did. On arrival, and possibly as a result of exposure to the noxious odor that hung around the hill, several of the boys became ill, feeling nauseous and even outright vomiting.
Braxton County Courthouse
Kathleen May quickly and shakily called the local police, who, rather intriguingly, were busy responding to reports of what was described as an “airplane crash” in the area. It turns out that no such crashed aircraft was ever found – something which suggests the “airplane” and the brightly lit UFO that descended upon the high hill that night were one and the very same. As a result of the fact that Flatwoods was, and still is, a very small town, word soon got out about what had happened. Local media were quickly on the scene, and even the U.S. Air Force sat up and took notice. Despite intense investigations by the press and the military, the mystery of the Flatwoods Monster was never solved – the creature was long gone by the time anyone else was on the scene. It is, however, decidedly interesting to note that Flatwoods is only around 125 miles from the town of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, where, from 1966 to 1967, yet another red-eyed monster was seen. Its famous name is Mothman. All of which brings us back to Project Blue Book and tonight’s episode.
In the show, the Flatwoods Monster of West Virginia is portrayed nothing like the Flatwoods Monster, which is a relatively minor issue of little consequence. The people of Flatwoods, however, are presented as distrusting, gun-toting characters ready to blast the U.S. military with significant amounts of lead, which, in reality, did not happen. No one in town put a gun in the face of a U.S. military officer. Also, we see one of the characters jump, or get pushed, out of a window to her death. I’ve heard of TV companies being inspired by real events, but this is getting ridiculous. I wonder what the good people of Flatwoods are – tonight – thinking about the townsfolk who came before them and who have been portrayed in such a trigger-happy fashion. That’s my main gripe: the show-makers seem intent on making real people look bad. See my previous article here at Mysterious Universe, for example, in which I explain how, in episode 1, the creators of the show portrayed a WWII hero – pilot George Gorman – as someone who had descended into mental illness and who needed to be shot up with meds to keep him under control, something else which did not happen; not even in the slightest.
On the plus side, the chick on chick action is getting closer to fruition (despite a slight hiccup that set things back a bit), so I’ll have to keep watching…
While investigators in the U.S. are checking into alleged close encounters with Vladimir Putin, Vladimir Putin is checking into close encounters with aliens. Specifically, he ordered the Russian army to investigate the suspicious collapse of a mountain in Siberia (when is the collapse of a mountain NOT serious?) which some people at the site say could only have been caused by a UFO. Just by chance, was the city near the mountain getting ready to hold an election?
“Me and colleague Mikhail were driving a truck with various food supplies for my shops towards Amga and in the general direction of Khabarovsk region. The night was clear. It was the sixth or eighth day of the lunar phase, so the Moon did not rise high and the sky was dark. Seconds before 1.30am the whole sky lit up. We saw a huge green-coloured body with a spectacularly bright and very long tail, falling almost vertically at about an 80 degrees angle. We saw it right in front of us, falling east to south. It all happened within three or four seconds.”
Meteor?
Eyewitness Alexey Dyundin is convinced what he saw on December 11th was a meteor, saying he knows what a falling rocket part looks like because the area gets a lot of those too. (And you thought pigeon droppings on your windshield were annoying.) Alexey Maslov, head of the Verkhnebureinsky district where the incident occurred, agrees – as any politician who doesn’t want to cause a panic would. However, records show there was no meteorite activity that night, nor is there a crater where the mountain collapsed. The other logical explanation is a landslide, but locals who have seen landslides say this river-blocking mountain of a slide is something else. (Many pictures of the pile here.) What else? The Siberian Timeshad this to say:
“Meanwhile, a poll of locals asked for views on the cause of the Bureya event. Some 27% said a meteorite crashing to earth, 40% a landslide – and 33% a UFO attack.”
The mountain of dirt that was once a mountain is blocking the river which drives the Bureyskaya hydro power reservoir, so the Russian defense ministry has a good reason as well as a good cover to send in the military, geomorphologists, geologists, hydrologists and land-surveyors to clear the debris and look underneath it for a possible cause.
“Given the significant size of the landslide, units of engineer and railway forces with special equipment, as well as army and transport aviation, will be involved in clearing the rock.”
Unfortunately, local residents won’t be able to see what the army finds because a state of emergency has been declared (of course) and the area is being evacuated because of “potential flooding.” Does Putin suspect something he doesn’t want them to know or see? Why do so many of them think the cause was a UFO? A tourist group from the neighboring Amur region was attempting to drive over the frozen river and inspect the site in the first week of January … there’s no report they arrived, what they found or if they made it out.
If one-third of the people in your town believed a so-called natural disaster was actually caused by a UFO, would our federal government investigate it? if it really was a UFO, would the Russian government share the information with ours? If they did, would our government share it with US?

The UFO that derailed a train and threw rays to a witness (Video)
In 1954, one of the strangest UFO incidents in the World Ufology occurred. This event took place in Quarouble, near Valenciennes, north of France, on September 10 of the same year.
The protagonist of the case, Marius Dewilde, lived near the passage 79 of the railway Houllieres Nationales, near the border with Belgium. Marius was reading by the fireplace while his wife and son were already asleep. Around 22: 30hs the dog Kiki began to bark furiously outside the house. He immediately thought that it was thieves attacking his henhouse, then he took his flashlight and left ..
When he reached the garden he noticed that there was a shadow on the railway, only 6 meters from the door of the house. And he thought that some neighbor had passed by. It was then when his dog appeared as crawling scared. Then he heard sounds of hasty footsteps. And immediately his dog started barking in this direction.
Marius turned on and pointed his flashlight towards the noise, then illuminating two strange little beings. They were only a few meters from the witness and were hurrying towards the shadow that was positioned on the railway line. Both wore a kind of helmet with a helmet. They were about a meter tall and had broad shoulders.
Marius ran towards the beings with the intention of capturing one of the creatures. When it was less than 2 meters from one of the creatures, the strange dark mass on the railway emitted a ray of light in the witness and was paralyzed.
Then the protagonist attended astonished to the strange beings entering the object that took off silently immediately. A short time later he recovered his strength and scared he returned home. Arriving there he woke up his wife telling him the story. Shortly after, he looked for a neighbor who advised him to go to the police in Onning, 2 km away. The cops thought he was crazy. Then he decided to look for police commissioner Gouchet to report what happened. This, seeing that the witness was pale, scared and with physiological problems derived from the episode, requested an investigation of the Air Police and the Directorate of Territorial Security (DST).
The investigation began immediately that night. An interesting fact happened precisely at the moment when the researchers were in the place. A freight train approached and when passing in the place where the object was perched there was a loud roar.
The engineer stopped the locomotive and went to check what would have happened. There, machinist, investigators and the witness perceived that there was a depression in the rails in an area of 6 meters.
The engineer tried to use a phone nearby to warn the central but it had defects. Interestingly, his flashlight, which was also battery powered, had defects after the episode.
The next day the investigators returned to the place and discovered new evidence. The investigation found that there were no fingerprints in place, but there were marks on the rails at five different points. These marks had 4cm² each, divided into 3 rails.
They resembled bevels caused by bodies of rectangular section and containing up to a penetration bevel, so that a force of 30 tons was exerted on the wood of the rails. In addition, the marks were symmetrical.
The stones collected in the room were calcined, fragmenting easily, while the stones collected in other nearby places were normal. In subsequent investigations in the region it was discovered that several other people spotted a strange reddish flying object at the same time that Mr. Marius observed the ship and its crew.
With the passing of the days Marius presented respiratory problems and his dog Niki dies mysteriously. In addition to Niki, three cows on a nearby farm died mysteriously. Autopsies were performed to determine the cause of death and it was discovered that the three did not have blood on their bodies. What do you think about it? Watch the following video and leave us your comment below.
Tom Delonge, founder of To The Stars Academy, recently uploaded a post on Instagram claiming that multiple US attack submarines somehow had a UFO 'pinned' underwater against the North Atlantic Coast.
Reflect On:
There are thousands of declassified UFO encounters, most of which are aerial. A story like this doesn't really seem too 'out there' for those who have researched the topic, and it seems more probable given Tom and his team's reputation.
The idea of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) is no longer taboo, and has been officially verified by multiple governments around the world including the United States. These objects are often tracked on military radars and seen by the pilots who are sent out to take a closer look. There have been millions of pages of UFO related documents declassified detailing these encounters, hundreds of testimonies from credible people within military, intelligence, and government agencies exposed, and tons of electro-optical data and physical evidence released. You can read about some examples of military encounters in more detail here.
In 1979, General Carlos Cavero told the world that “everything” has been “in a process of investigation both in the United States and in Spain, as well as the rest of the world. On a global scale, the nations of the world are currently working together in the investigation of the UFO phenomenon” and there is “an international exchange of data.” There are tons of similar, reputable statements like this out there, including the following one made by the first CIA director, Roscoe H. Hillenkoetter: “Behind the scenes, high-ranking Air Force officers are soberly concerned about UFOs. But through official secrecy and ridicule, many citizens are led to believe the unknown flying objects are nonsense.” (source)
Despite the vast amount of evidence in support of extraterrestrial and UFO phenomena, the ‘secrecy campaign’ is still ongoing, influencing the minds of the masses and convincing people that it’s all a “conspiracy theory.” Perception manipulation is a tool frequently used by the ‘powers that be’ in all areas, especially within the political realm.
Whether it be a former Chairman of the Royal Navy telling us that “there is a serious possibility that we are being visited, and have been visited by people from outer space,” a former Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Barry Goldwater stating that “I do know that whatever the Air Force has on the subject is going to remain highly classified,” or an Apollo 14 astronaut saying that “yes, there have been crashed craft and bodies recovered,” there is no shortage of high-ranking insiders attesting to the reality of this phenomenon.
However, this goes far beyond mere witness testimonies.
One of the biggest mouthpieces for “the establishment,” The New York Times, admitted something that the establishment has been concealing for years: UFOs are real. The Times broke the story about a secret Pentagon program about UFOs, but any UFO researcher knows these programs are far more in-depth, expensive, and expansive than anything that’s described within the article.
This was then followed by a Washington Post article written by Christopher Mellon, a member of To The Stars who spent 20 years in the federal government, holding prestigious roles including the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence in the Clinton and Bush Administrations. To The Stars is a company founded by the musician Tom Delonge, which aims to inspire a newfound appreciation for ‘the profound yet unresolved mysteries involving science and the universe,’ including UFO phenomena.
All of a sudden, after these articles, UFOs were perceived as ‘real’ within mainstream media. Many have criticized Tom Delonge and To The Stars, claiming that the company is a deep state operation looking to bring about misinformation about UFOs. Some will post pictures of Tom Delonge with John Podesta, for example, and claim that he is ‘one of them.’ However, I do not believe these accusations.
It’s similar to Harvey Weinstein being pictured with Oprah. A single image doesn’t make Oprah a rapist or a supporter of sexual misconduct, and we shouldn’t judge others based on a photograph or who they spend their time with. Tom might be completely unaware of Podesta’s reputation, as it’s quite clear his main interest is the UFO/extraterrestrial phenomenon. Delonge has done nothing but good for the UFO movement and has inspired massive awareness surrounding the subject.
Perhaps we should be more concerned with the transparency of the US government than with Tom Delonge’s motives. So far, the US government has proven that they cannot be trusted when it comes to being transparent about this subject. This is why it’s ok to have concerns about where this mainstream disclosure movement is headed, and whether or not it’s rooted in good will.
It’s evident that politicians are becoming more and more persuaded and coerced by corporations and the global elite, something Roosevelt referred to as the “invisible government” that “sits enthroned” behind the “ostensible government.” (source)
Another great quote:
The real menace of our Republic is the invisible government, which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation . . . The little coterie of powerful international bankers virtually run the United States government for their own selfish purposes. – John F. Hylan, Mayor of New York City from 1918-1925, (source)(source)
It remains to be seen where To The Stars will take this, but I fully believe that if there are some sort of ‘sinister’ intentions within To The Stars, Tom and most of the team probably have no idea about it. So far things are looking good, and they’ve done nothing but create awareness.
The team he assembled is actually pretty extraordinary, as their backgrounds are quite impressive, and Tom deserves all the credibility he’s garnered. Sure, there is no evidence that his claims are true (like the image pictured below), but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t entertain his thoughts, especially given the fact that thousands of similar encounters have been reported. Here is one of many great examples of verified encounters with documented proof, in case you were curious.
Why Would Multiple Nuclear Attack Submarines Do This?
As an avid researcher into the field of UFOs for nearly half of my life, I can confidently say that not only are there unidentified crafts performing maneuvers that defy our known laws of aerospace and physics, but these crafts have been spotted entering and exiting our oceans as well. This is something that’s still new to many UFO researchers just entering the field now.
I’d like to highlight one thing here. After decades of military encounters, it seems the protocol for multiple governments is to try and shoot these crafts down.
Below is a quote from Dr. Steven Greer, creator of the most popular documentary on Netflix last year, Unacknowledged. Greer is well known for the Disclosure Project, where he amassed hundreds of military/intelligence personnel with verified backgrounds to come together and share their testimonies and experiences regarding UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence.
Below he shares a perspective many may not know about:
Here is a great quote from Paul Hellyer,
Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about where we were headed and offered to help. But instead we, or at least some of us, interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after. The inevitable result was that some of our planes were lost, but how many were due to retaliation, and how many were a result of our own stupidity, is a moot point.” (source)
By the way, “the preservation of the planet” (Colonel Ross Dedrickson, from thisinterview with Dr. Greer) is a common theme in extraterrestrial lore. However, that is not to say that some malevolent forces aren’t at work as well. Who really knows!
Dr. David Clarke, an investigative journalist, reader and lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University in England, and the former curator for The National Archives UFO project from 2008–13, outlined what some of the UK’s documents say regarding this type of technology.
These documents reveal how the RAF expressed great interest in finding UFOs to help come up with new and innovative ways to become their enemies during the Cold War. Apparently, they were gathering evidence that other nations had collected this technology. Having been an avid researcher into the field myself for more than a decade, I can confidently say that stories of crash retrievals of unknown aerial objects are abundant–Roswell is certainly not the only example.
Even though they have been partly censored they can’t conceal the fact the UK military were interested in capturing UFO technology or what they coyly refer to as ‘novel weapon technology’…And the files reveal they were desperate to capture this technology – wherever it came from – before the Russians or the Chinese got hold of it first….Although this was 1997, Russia was still regarded as an undefeated enemy with a weapons programme regarded as a threat to the West.
The Takeaway
What makes us think this planet belongs to us? What right do we have to shoot down intelligently controlled crafts that may have been around for decades? Clearly, if there was a threat associated with them or some type of ‘armageddon’ scenario, it would have happened already.
All the global military industrial complex wants to do is find out what’s going on and what’s inside these crafts, even if that means disregarding basic morals. These are not actions we should be proud of, as they highlight just how difficult it may be for any potential outside visitors to explore our planet.
Does the elite actually care about the preservation of our planet? Or do they only care about looking out for their own interests, regardless of the implications their actions have on others?
The extraterrestrial/UFO phenomenon truly leaves no area of humanity untouched. The implications on spirituality and human consciousness are huge, and it’s a topic that will eventually force us to take a closer look at who we are, where we came from, how we treat our planet, and why we are so much more than the bodies we inhabit.
Over the last few days I have been asked for my views on the History Channel’s new show, Project Blue Book. I wason vacation up until last week, so I only watched the opening episode yesterday. Finally, I’m now catching up on things. So, here goes: In an article titled“Where in the hell is the outrage?”Rich Reynolds says of Project Blue Book: “The show was a disservice to J. Allen Hynek, his wife, Captain Ruppelt, and Lt. Gorman whose Fargo ‘dogfight’ with a UFO is one of the classic and intriguing cases in the UFO literature. That UFO enthusiasts are so desperate for something in their interested field they accept such idiocy is more than discouraging; it’s madness. The defaming History Channel effort should be condemned outright and loudly. It is, as I’ve already noted, a travesty of UFO history and a joke. To let it stand as representative of what Blue Book was and did and how J. Allen Hynek, a moderate and reserved academic was, is shameful.”
Then, there is this from Kevin Randle: “Back in the 1970s, Jack Webb of Dragnet fame created something he called Project UFO. It was based on the files of Project Blue Book and it was difficult to recognize the cases presented. The attitude of the program, if I remember it correctly, was to examine a case that might have been inexplicable and find a rational and reasonable answer before the hour expired. Although I was excited about the show, I was quickly disappointed in the final product. It reeked somewhat, again if I remember correctly, of a debunking operation.”
Kevin continues: “This new incarnation, given the snappy tile of Project Blue Book, seems to be at the other end of the spectrum. It suggests a grand conspiracy that involves what most of us believe is the mythical MJ-12, Air Force officers who will go to about any length to prove a case has a terrestrial explanation and a hint of the Men in Black. In other words, it is filled with the paranoia of the UFO field and has very little to do with the reality of the situation as it was then or as it is now.”
And there are these words from Micah Hanks: “…as far as being an entertaining television program goes, we give it two thumbs up. So in conclusion, Project Blue Book may be one of the better UFO-themed productions to come out in recent years, and though it may not become renowned for its historical accuracy, it nonetheless presents some fun and entertaining food for thought on a subject that has remained both perplexing, and controversial, for many decades.”
As for me? Well, here’s my take on it all: if the show was specifically presented as pure fiction and used real people in a wholly fictional format (such as the 1990s series Dark Skies, which had actors playing such figures as JFK, RFK, and Dorothy Kilgallen – all of who have been tied to UFOs by certain elements of Ufology), viewers would at least know what they are getting: namely, fiction and absolutely nothing else, like it or like it not. But, that’s not the case with Project Blue Book. This new show blurs the lines to a point where many may not realize what amounts to fact and what amounts to fiction. For example, the show begins with the following words: “This series is inspired by Dr. J. Allen Hynek’s investigations for the U.S. Air Force into the existence of UFOs. The cases depicted are based on real events.”
Well, that is true. But, it’s these words we need to focus on: “inspired” and “based on.” Episode 1, “The Fuller Dogfight,” relates a classic case that dates back 71 years. As Wikipedia notes: “The Gorman UFO dogfight was a widely publicized UFO incident. It occurred on October 1, 1948, in the skies over Fargo, North Dakota, and involved George F. Gorman, a pilot with the North Dakota Air National Guard. USAF Captain Edward J. Ruppelt wrote in his bestselling and influential The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects that the Gorman Dogfight was one of three ‘classic’ UFO incidents in 1948 that ‘proved to [Air Force] intelligence specialists that UFOs were real.‘However, in 1949 the US Air Force labeled the Gorman Dogfight as being caused by a lighted weather balloon.”
In the show, Gorman is portrayed as being so traumatized that he is hit with a chemical cocktail that wipes out his memory. As Kevin Randle puts it (see the same link to Kevin’s article above),” Gorman is “…suffering from an acute case of PTSD and eventually ends up in the psycho ward before being given a shot and dragged off.”
The fact is that none of that happened – in the real world. What the Air Force actually said of the affair is that Gorman “…did not make the impression of being a dreamer. He reads little, and only serious literature. He spends 90 percent of his time hunting and fishing; drinks less than moderately; smokes normally; and does not do drugs. He appears to be a sincere and serious individual who was considerably puzzled by his experience and made no attempt to blow his story up.” That assessment is at significant odds with what we see in Project Blue Book.
Gorman was a man who fought for his country in the Second World War. In the post-war era he was a Second Lieutenant in the North Dakota National Guard. I don’t know if Gorman has any surviving relatives (he and his wife did have a child), but I wonder what they would think of the way in which he is portrayed in Project Blue Book. Also in the show, J. Allen Hynek has an encounter with a Man in Black (albeit very briefly). For those who are wondering which other parts of the show are “inspired,” you may like to know that Hynek never had such an encounter.
I was hugely unimpressed and the show did a disservice to the real George Gorman, a decorated, WW2 pilot. The one saving grace: the prospect of what looks to be a bit of hot girl on girl action on the horizon, which probably didn’t happen either.
“A very intriguing aircraft was being reported in the late 1980s. Some observers claim to have witnessed a vast black flying wing, estimated at between 600 and 800 feet in width, passing silently over city streets in California.”
The quote above, featured at one time as part of a description featured online at the website of the Federation of American Scientists (FAS), dealt with an alleged aircraft that, since the 1980s, has become a mainstay of modern UFO literature.
“The craft moved so slowly one observer claimed that he could jog along with it,” the entry continued. “The aircraft reportedly executed bizarre maneuvers in which it stopped, rotated in place and hovered vertically, pointing its thin trailing edge toward the ground. This vehicle’s unlikely gyrations suggest that it is distinct from the other sightings, and could be a lighter-than-air craft pushed by slow-turning propellers.”
The description here is strange indeed, and although the FAS didn’t provide additional details about the circumstances or witnesses to the events described above, the description is generally similar to other written accounts of so-called “flying triangles” that have appeared over the years.
A number of years ago, while filling in as host of a local radio program in my hometown of Asheville, North Carolina, I received a call from a man named Brian, who shared his own story of seeing one of these aircraft over our town in 1988. Having discussed Brian’s story numerous times on my podcast, The Gralien Report, I had always hoped that some form of verification of the sighting might occur, since I was never able to track down the caller (despite numerous efforts, and a few near-misses, over the years).
However, late last year I did finally receive word from a gentleman named Randy who, upon listening to a description of the events from 1988 on an episode of my podcast, wrote to me and shared his own experience from around the same time, and just a little North of Asheville.
“Something caught my attention yesterday on my drive,” Randy said in his email to me. “I was listening to this weeks episode about UFO Cults & Odd Cases when you were recounting someone’s tale regarding a triangle shaped craft in the Asheville area back in the late 80s. The reason I’m writing is, I think I saw the same one.”
Randy shared the following story about his sighting:
“I grew up in Southwestern Virginia right on the VA/TN border. My grandmother lived in Kingsport, TN and we used to visit her frequently. I must of been around 9 or 10 years old at the time. One night, as we were about to leave to head home, my dad was already outside talking with my grandmother saying their goodbyes. Dad called for me to come outside. Hearing the urgency in his voice, my brother and I ran outside to see Dad and Grandmother staring up at the sky.”
“It only took a second to see what they were looking at,” Randy said. As he stepped outside, he saw an object at a distance he judged to be approximately 100 feet above the tree line in the distance. The object was “a large black triangle” which appeared to have a single light at each corner. Randy also remembered there being “a larger light in the center.”
“It moved very slowlyand made no sound.I couldn’t make out any features other than the general shape and the lights. We all stood there and watched it as we discussed what it might be for what seemed like five minutes or so.We watched it until it disappeared to the west.”
“As you know, Kingsport is roughly sixty miles straight line distance from Asheville, and the time frame seems to fit.So who knows, maybe it was the same thing.”
Did Brian and Randy see the same aircraft? Who knows… it’s possible, at least, although there’s no way to prove that. If anything, what it really suggests is that an aircraft that matches the description of both observers here—possibly some kind of military aircraft akin to a “stealth blimp,” as some have inferred over the years—is seen more often than some would expect.
Or, at least, that such an aircraft was certainly making its rounds over the Southeastern United States during the late 1980s. Supposing for a moment that this aircraft was part of a highly classified black budget program, questions remain as to what it’s operational goals might have been (reconnaissance, weapons delivery, transport, etc). While reports continue today, it seems the “buzz” surrounding sightings of this aircraft hit their peak during the 1990s, with notable incidents that may involve a similar aircraft extending into the new millennium; most notably, the well-documented January 2000 Saint Clair, Illinois incident.
In any case, the intrigue that surrounds reports of these large “triangle” aircraft has persisted over the years; whether or not they are seen as frequently today, they remain indelibly a part of the culture of UFO and black budget speculations in modern America.
Yellowstone National Park UFO Orb looks like pure energy
The UFO phenomenon still seems to baffle people, but these things have been coming to Earth for many generations you'd think people where a little used to them by now wouldn't you?
UFO Sightings Footage theory is common sense? This could be like a sentinel that's been sent by a mother-ship out in space and these volcanoes are a refueling station like a gas station and the mothership needing a oil refinery type refueling station which would be the Sun in this case?
It would explain why we saw the massive planet sized UFO refueling at the Sun for an hour then it moved away and the funnel type hose coming from the UFO to the Sun was detached and it went on it's merry way, we saw it come and go and it was awesome and undeniable! You can't make this stuff up, it's true and real! The UFO over Yellowstone is a usual sight actually?
They are regularly sighted flying over Yellowstone park all the time! It's an active zone for UFO's. This one is quite special because we see it emerge and then get closer and it looks exactly like what a typical UFO would look like, maybe anyways?
Here's another two UFOs as seen over Yellowstone National Park. These images are from the amazing website UFO Sightings Daily the editor there is Scott Waring and here's the link.
By my count it looks like there's actually 2 UFOs in this image?

“Frankly, I think the federal government has done almost nothing to help us with this.”
What do you think the person who made this statement was referring to by “this”? If you said “UFO research,” thank you for joining our conversation, Senator Reid! Yes, those words were spoken in a recent radio interview given by the former U.S. senator from Nevada, Harry Reid. It’s not important what party he belongs to because a topic as important as this should be bipartisan, right?
It’s good to see Senator Reid back fighting for disclosure after he himself disclosed in 2017 that he was retiring from Capitol Hill after receiving a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. After two years of treatment and despite a fatalistic piece in The New York Times about him just last weekend, Reid says he’s strong and has a good life and looks to be in good enough health to kick that heavy Sunday edition of the Times into the street. However, what he came to KNPR Nevada Public Radio to talk about was UFOs and some other minor stuff going on in Washington and the White House. (Listen to the interview here.)
Former Senator Harry Reid
“I think it is something we can’t ignore. I personally don’t know if there exist little green men places. I kind of doubt that, but I do believe the information we have indicates we should do a lot more study. We have hundreds and hundreds of people that have seen the same thing — something in the sky, it moves a certain way.”
Many of those “hundreds and hundreds” of witnesses are military pilots, and Reid was getting ready to meet with an unnamed senator still in office about giving these pilots protection from retaliation for coming forward with their accounts – pilots have long feared telling about the strange crafts they’ve seen because previous witnesses were ridiculed, harassed, recommended for psychiatric evaluation, passed over for promotions and more. Reid hopes this senator will champion a safe place for pilots and other military witnesses – radar operators, sailors who have seen unidentified submerged objects, etc. – to share their experiences and possibly video or audio recordings.
“Oh sure, I’ve been to Area 51. I know Area 51. I don’t know if I should say many times, but lots and lots of times. I know Area 51 quite well, I know what they’ve done there. I don’t know in recent years, of course, but I know what went on there.”
Is Reid a witness who needs protection too? He didn’t give any more details about Area 51, which is in the state he represented. Nor did he say what should be done after the witnesses come forward. It was revealed in 2017 that Reid helped sneak $22 million into the annual Defense Department budget for the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, which we now know was shut down in 2012 after being run at the Pentagon by military intelligence official Luis Elizondo, who is now part of the To the Stars Academy of Arts and Sciences which is continuing its investigations and disclosures.
Those seeking UFO disclosure had a friend in Harry Reid when he was in the Senate. Can Reid convince his unnamed friend (rumored to be Reid’s former deputy, Senate Minority Whip Richard J. Durbin who is the ranking member of the Defense Appropriations Subcommittee) to take up the mantle?
Can he convince anyone? Two other senators who supported the program — Ted Stevens of Alaska and Daniel K. Inouye of Hawaii – died in office (Inouye) or shortly after leaving (Stevens). Reid was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer after leaving office.
