Aliens among us. Many of us have heard stories about abductions and even about many species of aliens that live among us. Some look like us with human form, others don't and they must use their technology to disguise themselves as one of us. Most aliens work in influential positions, but some prefer to work in the tech area thinking that it would be the best way to improve humanity...through technology. 

 

Here we see President Obama giving a speech from last year at the Washington Convention Center. As the TV camera pans across the crowd we see several Secret Service agents keeping watch...one of which looks to be an alien that many are calling a reptilian species. 

 

Digital cameras are known to see more than the human eye and can also reach far beyond into other spectrums of light allowing the camera to see the true image. For instance an infrared lens on a Sony camcorder allows you to see invisible orbs or UFOs very clearly in the sky during the day, but you will almost never see these objects with your eyes. Perhaps this is what happened to the alien working as a Secret Service agent for Obama. 

 

It really does make sense. Place an alien close to Obama at all times in order to help protect him and to manipulate his thoughts and actions through telepathy. The US Presidents...may just a puppets. SCW

Dark Forest Theory Explains Why Aliens Are Hiding From Us

There are about 200 billion stars and at least 100 billion planets in our Milky Way galaxy. Drake’s equation, which takes into account these and other factors, including the likelihood of life on earth and the likelihood of intelligent life, suggests that there are probably about 20 advanced civilizations in our galaxy.

Why have we still not found any traces (at least officially recognized) of these civilizations, despite all our attempts to send them messages and the development of our astronomical science?

The Fermi paradox asks the same question, marveling at the absence of visible traces of the activities of alien civilizations, which should have settled throughout the entire Universe over the billions of years of its development.

There are many theories trying to explain this. Some say that life in general is a very rare phenomenon and that life on Earth developed only as a result of an extremely rare combination of circumstances. Others say that the development of man as an intelligent creature is an anomaly and it is unlikely that this will happen elsewhere, even if there are all conditions for plants and animals.

And then there is the Dark Forest theory, which was developed in the science fiction novel “Dark Forest” by Chinese writer Liu Cixin.

The novel’s plot, the second in the trilogy, revolves around how to interact with potentially hostile alien species.

The novel sets out the following arguments:

• Life, and especially the developed life, carefully wants to survive.
• It is impossible to know in advance if other life forms can destroy you if given the chance.
• In the absence of guarantees of survival, the safest option for any kind of living creatures is to destroy potentially dangerous life forms before they can do the same to them.

Each space civilization seeks to expand infinitely, but the amount of resources in each galaxy is not infinite, so all civilizations capable of interstellar travel become rivals for the same resources.

Thus, each civilization A, having learned about the existence of another sufficiently developed civilization B, cannot be completely sure that it will not become its enemy. It cannot even rely on the technological lag of civilization B, because science and technology are developing exponentially and can overtake those of civilization A.

Therefore, every civilization, the technology of which allows to destroy other civilizations, will destroy all civilizations that it learns about, so as not to become a victim of such an attack itself.

This explains the Fermi paradox – highly developed civilizations simply do their best not to disclose the fact of their existence, because disclosure will inevitably entail an attack on them.

In Liu Cixin’s novel, one of the main characters Luo Ji refers to this as the Dark Forest Theory, using the metaphor of a forest full of hiding hunters attacking any beast that betrays itself.

In order not to betray themselves, the developed space civilization will keep strict radio silence and, probably, their ships will not plow the vastness of the galaxy in search of resources or something else.

They can also try with all possible forces to hide the traces of the existence of their planet. This theory is so logical and plausible that since the release of Liu Cixin’s novel, many scientists have seriously discussed it. And the theory scared them with the knowledge of what we had done.

For almost a hundred years now, we have been sending radio signals into space, indicating the existence of intelligent life on our planet, and all potential alien civilizations that are from us within a radius of 100 light years have received these signals without a doubt. They know about us.

At one time, the late theoretical physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking was also very afraid of this and opposed sending any information about earthlings into space.

If we have not yet been attacked, it is only because the civilizations that have learned about us are also afraid of us, not knowing our real level of technical development, and do not want to betray themselves and doom to destruction. But what if our signals reach the predatory conquerors?

Few alleged UFO abduction cases have received as much attention as the one which occurred in a small Argentine town less than a month ago. Even fewer have received as much GOVERNMENT attention as the case of Irma Rick of Jacinto Araúz in La Pampa, Argentina. Rick mysteriously disappeared after hearing a loud noise and seeing a bright light. She was found 24 hours later, 40 miles away, not remembering anything else but still in possession of her cellphone. If she was abducted by a UFO, that cellphone could be the first known to have been on an extraterrestrial spaceship. Wouldn’t ANY government be interested in getting its hands on that?

Who could that be?

“The 3rd Judicial District of General Acha (La Pampa) has intervened as the competent body in this case. Dr. Juan Bautista Méndez took over the case in the court of first instance, but within a few days, investigative continuity fell to Dr. María Virginia Antón, deputy prosecutor, who was elevated to the position in June 2021.”

The go-to guy on the alien abduction case of Irma Rick is Luis Burgos, a well-known South American UFO investigator. After his initial investigation, he focused on the cellphone, which would be evidence in any missing person case. Burgos was able to interview Dr. Antón, who gave him some interesting and some disappointing answers. (See more on his website.)

• The investigation aims at dismissing all “suspicious” that the event might have had: Spousal abuse, kidnapping, extortion, injury, etc.
• Irma Rick’s smartphone is in the hands of judiciary at Dr. Antón’s request.
• At first, a story circulated about Irma Rick’s spouse’s smartphone having also been taken. Dr. Antón denied this.
• A medical report has been attached to the cause of action.
• In principle, a report by an interdisciplinary team that visited the protagonist is yet to be attached.
• The expert report on the infamous smartphone should be ready by February/March, as this matter takes time and Judicial Recess begins in January.
• The results of the expert investigation will not be made public.

Antón’s department has Rick’s phone, appears to be treating it first as a criminal case, but will keep all results private. Luis Burgos doesn’t seem pleased with these answers. He notes on his website that the La Pampa area is a well-known UFO hotspot and the Irma Rick case is just the latest in a long string of unusual UFO-related occurrences there. He’s also worried that it will be ignored like so many other La Pampa incidents in the past.

“And it makes us wonder…if the Irma Rick case falls apart, collapses, or otherwise becomes uncertain, does it change Pampean case histories to any extent?”

Does no one care or are they hiding something?

Burgos hopes instead that the government will take its time and “the Irma Rick Case will serve to set a precedent in the subject of abductions and witnesses with smartphones.”

Revealed: What Happens To People Who See UFOs

There are many people around the world who have seen a UFO, alien or weird phenomenon. You may not be one of them, but would you trust fellow human beings who have seen and reported them?

Considered a pseudoscience in the mainstream scientific world, ufology, or the study of UFOs, is largely dismissed. Because we have learned to associate reality with what the majority accepts, anything that falls outside of this is considered taboo, which can, in many ways, be a good thing, as it keeps morality in check.

However, we need to understand that UFOs do not fall in the moral compass. It is a phenomenon that has often been buried time and again by many skeptics and governments in spite of many reports being provided by authoritative individuals.

Every year, Phoenix, Arizona, hosts the International UFO Congress, the biggest annual gathering for ufology.  The conference has a special enthusiasm among the ufologists who are trying to prove skeptics wrong while also simply exposing the truth through stories, evidence, and more.

Although the ufologists eagerly explain that the UFOs are not just a perception, but a reality, the massive gap between the belief and knowledge keeps the scientific and pseudoscientific apart from each other. The ufologists have been trying to pump in maximum energy to prove their point, and the US government claims to look into the phenomenon in a serious formal way for almost six decades now. There is a constant looming fear that ufology will always be left for the pseudoscientists to ponder.

Feeling of happiness

According to Bob Davis, a retired neuroscientist, people’s fear of being ridiculed by others is the main reason why ufology is not taken seriously. Davis is a member of the Dr Mitchell Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial Encounters. The team had studied 3,057 individuals who have fought against the fear of ridicule and instead spoken up about their encounters with a physical craft associated with some form of non-human intelligence. Their research, according to Davis, has led to some very intriguing insight, one of which is that such UFO encounters make the witnesses… happy.

One might assume fear or curiosity would be the two biggest words associated with such encounters, but Davis notes:

What we’ve found is that about 85 percent of the people who are experiencing this phenomenon are being transformed in a very positive behavioral or psychospiritual way. Generally, people become more humane, experience a oneness with the world. They become less interested in organized religion, they become more spiritual, they have less interest in monetary values, and become more sensitive to the ecological welfare of our planet, among many other psychospiritual outcomes. It is a real and powerful outcome that is generally ignored by the UFO community.

Are people ever hurt by UFOs?

People occasionally report feeling pain or receiving an injury during a UFO encounter or abduction. Physical effects include eye irritation, sunburn, skin cuts, and sickness. After the experience, witnesses may have nightmares and feel anxious, and they may undergo personality changes or changes in their beliefs about important life issues. Witnesses, especially abductees, claim later UFO encounters and other experiences with the paranormal, such as poltergeist activity or the development of psychic powers.

One of the most famous UFO sightings resulting in injuries to witnesses involved two women, Betty Cash and Vicki Landrum, and Mrs. Landrum’s grandson, Colby, as they drove along a deserted Texas road during December 1980. In front of them, they saw a huge, brilliant, diamond-shaped object with flames shooting out from the bottom. Cash stopped the car and got out to have a better look at the UFO. The object radiated intense heat that softened the dashboard of her car. Terrified, Cash returned to the car and with the others, watched the UFO move away. As it did so, a squadron of helicopters appeared and surrounded the UFO. The witnesses followed the object and the helicopters until they disappeared in the distance. By the time the three reached home, all were feeling ill. Within a few hours, they developed sunburnlike blisters, nausea, and diarrhea. Betty Cash’s symptoms were the most severe, and she eventually sought medical treatment and was hospitalized as a burn victim. Her doctor concluded Cash was exhibiting symptoms of radiation sickness. The witnesses later sued the United States government, claiming it was responsible for their injuries. (They had identified the helicopters as Chinook twin-rotor helicopters used by the U.S. Army.) Their lawsuit was unsuccessful because they could never prove the UFO or the helicopters were devices owned and operated by the American government.

Feeling of a sexual desire

A survey conducted by a Panamanian paper revealed that 37 percent of the Panamanians felt sexual desire after spotting a UFO.
Diana Santanach, Director of Cid Gallup, reveals, “A desire for sex was the strongest feeling – according to the survey – among those who claim having seen a UFO, far above a sense of terror (17%). There is no specific explanation offered by the survey as to this reason.”

Nigel Watson, the author of the UFO Investigations Manual, says, ‘’Perhaps the anxiety and wonder of seeing something exceptional in the sky arouses the witness and accounts for these survey results. Some might claim that Randy aliens are deliberately sending out beams that will stimulate witnesses so that they can have their wicked way with them. The concept of breeding with aliens is nothing new. By the 1980s alien abduction researchers in the USA accepted that women are routinely abducted, impregnated and then re-abducted a few weeks later for the extraction of the hybrid foetus. These activities explained the short-lived pregnancies experienced by female abductees. As for male abductees, they either claimed to have had intercourse with an alien woman or their sperm was extracted by mechanical means by the aliens.”

Whitley Strieber, in his book Communion, described of being abducted by the aliens who inserted a 1ft (0.3m)-long anal probe inside him. According to him, it seemed like a living entity, however on removal, he was surprised to see that it was a mechanical device.
The case put forth by Antonio Villas Boas is also worth mentioning. According to him, he was dragged inside a flying saucer in 1957 where he was forced to have sexual intercourse with a beautiful alien lady. When he left, she pointed at her stomach and then at the sky implying that she would have the child in outer space.

For some ufologists, these reports may seem like the aliens are conducting some hybrid breeding program to create another race of beings. The purpose of the creation is unknown and can only be imagined! However, skeptics are of the opinion that these experiences are a product of sleep paralysis, wherein people are unable to discriminate between the reality and the fantasy during the sleeping and waking period.

Davis says, “Call it psychospirtual, call it religious, call it whatever, but the vast majority of these people are transformed in a very positive way.” While the research revealed that people felt happy, many experts strongly assert that people feel a strong sexual desire on seeing a UFO.

Remote Viewing Alien Life Forms: Locating Space Aliens On Earth

Most psychic abilities are innate and come naturally to people. Clairvoyance and telepathy are two of the most known abilities. However, there is a form of psychic ability that can be learned through a scientific method known as Scientific Remote Viewing.

The best known a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ life forms are those referred to as the Greys. Due to abuse to their environment, they destroyed their own planet. They had to move underground and began genetically altering themselves in order to adapt to their new surroundings.

It’s said that they altered their minds so that they could avoid emotions and it’s said that they altered their bodies to be smaller.

One of the drawbacks from this is that they could no longer produce their own offspring. They came to Earth to work with human biology in an effort to create a hybrid race which in time will allow them to reproduce on their own and feel emotions again.

Life on Mars and Martians on Earth

According to information received through SRV, there was once life on Mars. Due to a comet or asteroid, the Martian c̳i̳v̳i̳l̳i̳z̳a̳t̳i̳o̳n̳ was mostly destroyed.

While it’s said that some of the survivors moved underground, others were brought to Earth and supposedly live in an underground facility under a mountain in Santa Fe Baldy, New Mexico.

Who are the R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s and Why are They Here?

Apparently the Martians aren’t the only ones with a secret underground base. Allegedly, another race of a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s known as the R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s have at least one base on Earth as well.

Both R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s and hybrid R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s have been viewed, along with humans. The apparent reason the R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s came to Earth was to form a hybrid species between Man and R̳e̳p̳t̳i̳l̳i̳a̳n̳s.

Remote viewing was originally developed to be used as a type of psychic spying for the military. Although the above information regarding a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ life may seem difficult to believe, especially since it isn’t verifiable, numerous remote viewing sessions have had verifiable results, indicating that the process does work.

If military bases and weapons can accurately be remote viewed, then the possibility of remote viewing a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s should be considered, especially if viewed by Dr. Courtney Brown who has an outstanding reputation in his field.

Former US AIR FORCE Officer: “The United States Is Aware Of ALIEN BASES On The MOON”

U̳F̳O̳ researchers have always argued that on the Moon and more precisely in the dark side, there could be some e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ bases. The theory suggests that if these a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳s from a distant planet, from another solar system, they could have many bases on the Moon and other planets in our solar system, from which they can make their regular visits to Earth. It is also true that these beings from other worlds could travel by exploiting the StarGates or Wormholes for long distances. They have had this technology for thousands of years already.

In support of this claim, Milton William Cooper, an American writer, broadcaster and former US AIR FORCE intelligence officer, stated under oath in 1989 that the US government was aware of a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ bases on the Moon. the exactness “outposts”) where spaceships are hosted that often visit the Earth.

“Beyond the Moon there are a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ bases” – declared Milton Cooper in a statement. “They have been seen by the Apollo astronauts. Cooper has also written about other conspiracy theories, related to the United States government. But the surprise came in 2001, when Cooper was murdered by agents from the Sheriff’s Office (Apache County). There was a police raid on his home in Arizona over a tax evasion report. The official story says Cooper opened fire first. Is there perhaps a better proof? You know how these things go. If you know too much … you get killed. The truth hurts…

In 1994, the US Navy sent a satellite called Clementine which was intended to photograph the moon for two months in a row. During this period, the satellite images sent to the space center were 1.8 million, but only 170,000 of those images were made available to the public. The rest were classified. Classified images of the craters of the moon? ” One of the most fascinating evidence of e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ bases on the far side of the moon comes from remote viewing by Ingo Swann (1933-2013). Swann, who was instrumental in creating the US government’s remote viewing program in 1970, was one of the most famous RVs in the world, but far more recognized than a few others. For example, in 1973, while performing a distant view of Jupiter, Swann had reported that the giant gas planet had rings. This fact was unknown to astronomers before, until it was confirmed by the Voyager 1 spacecraft in 1979.

But Swann was also known for a remote viewing session on the far side of the moon. Swann asked a man named Axelrod, who worked for the United States government, for some a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ targets.

“Axelrod together with Ingo Swann, agreed on a series of RV sessions in the coordinates of the Moon” – declares the writer Gary S. Bekkum, of the American Chronicle – “Swann visualized the Moon with his remote vision in the predetermined coordinates, under the guidance of Axelrod. In particular, a dozen different places were searched and soon realized that in some points there were a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ bases. Swann had found what appeared to be tracks with wheel tracks as large as those of tractors. In principle Swann was confused by what he was seeing, but he realized that he was witnessing the activity of building intelligent structures on the Moon. At the bottom of a crater he saw a dusty haze, illuminated by rows of artificial green lights mounted on large towers. Swann was surprised during the VR session when he realized that “someone” or “something” has appeared in one of the buildings of one of the bases on the Moon.

Swann knew that an interplanetary VR operation had been endorsed, due to the need to monitor underground structures and e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ activities in an unconventional way. Swann was on a mission to psychically spy on an a̳l̳i̳e̳n̳ moon base, because these beings were very rude to the human military. When Ingo Swann “listened” in Remote, he sensed that he had been psychically discovered by two of the ET humanoid inhabitants of the moon base, also asking if he was in danger. ”

Are astronauts and scientists aware of e̳x̳t̳r̳a̳t̳e̳r̳r̳e̳s̳t̳r̳i̳a̳l̳ bases on the far side of the moon? It has never been easy for those who claim to have been abducted by aliens to convince their friends and family, let alone persuade authorities to investigate or plead their case in the court of public opinion. A recent incident in La Palma, Argentina, is becoming a classic case. A woman disappeared, is found wandering a day later 40 miles away, claims the last thing she remembers is a loud noise and bright lights, comes forward to identify herself and explain the experience to the media, and is doubted by UFO experts.

“I got up, drank two or three mates and began to see that the phone had some lines, something like interference.”

“The power went out, I walked outside and from there I don’t remember anything else. I did not see a light or anything, I only heard the wind as very strong and nothing else.”

“The next day she was sitting on the street, with her legs extended, her arms above her legs. When I open my eyes, I see the street and I look to one side, I see the edge and the other side the edge as well. I don’t remember how long I was sitting.” Google translation

Irma Rick, the woman who was said to have been be abducted by aliens on November 16, gave an interview to Canal Crónica TV, which was reported on by Infopico.com and Inexplicata. As noted in the original coverage, Irma also had a UFO encounter in 2002. Initial investigations by authorities mentioned that she was in no physical condition to have walked that far, was found in a severe state of shock and amnesia, and tracking dogs mysteriously lost her scent very near to her home.

“I only discussed it with my husband and my kids. What were they going to say? They’re just as startled as me. I would like to know what happened to me, but I still don’t know anything.”

(Irma, did you have any marks on your body?) “Yes, I have something that was done to my head. That’s all I have.”

Irma told the reporters she had no explanation for what happened to her and nor how she got the mark on her head. The reporters questioned her for any concrete evidence of a UFO or aliens – impressions in the ground – and she could not provide any. At the end, she agreed to be interviewed further by UFO researchers.

Luis Burgos (FAO-ICOU) is a well known South American UFO investigator. While he did not interview Imra Rick directly, he reviewed her testimony and the reports. In his report, he notes immediately that “there is nothing at all beyond the alleged abductee’s story.” No UFO investigators checked the site for radiation, electromagnetism, marks, prints or other signs of a UFO landing or alien contact. Burgos found Irma’s testimony on her UFO encounter in 2002. In that case, she reported seeing a UFO above her silo. Police later found that “bird droppings were burned on the silo and “pigeons no longer stop there like they used to.”

Again, no such investigation occurred after the latest incident, but what really bothered Burgos is Irma’s cellphone. While it’s odd that aliens would have allowed her to take in when abducted, what he finds really odd is that the investigators didn’t take away from her. The battery “was remarkably unaffected” during her disappearance and three calls were made from it. A GPS or phone company search would give the locations of the calls and the path the cellphone and Irma took during her 24-hour disappearance. That would make this “one of the easiest UFO cases to solve.”

If that’s the case, why wasn’t the phone inspected and the case solved? This would have been key evidence if Irma Rick was kidnapped, had some sort of medical lack-of-memory event or some other non-alien incident. Did the alien abduction story taint the investigation? Or was the police investigation controlled by the aliens? At this point, either is possible.

The case of Irma Rick is easy to doubt and hard to prove. It’s still unsolved.

Irma is the woman abducted by an alleged UFO in La Pampa. She saw a very bright light in her patio, vanished for 24 hours, and reappeared 65 kilometers away.]

Interviewer: We’re here in La Pampa with Irma. What a fright!

Irma: Yes, it was a fright. I don’t even know how to explain it.

Interviewer: Could you tell us what happened?

Irma: Yes, see here. My husband went away to look after another property and…he left, and I got up, had two or three cups of mate, I played around with the phone and such, drinking mate early in the morning, then the phone began getting crisscrossed with lines, like when the service is going out –

Interviewer; [interrupts] So it was interference?

Irma: Yes, yes. I suddenly began hearing a buzzing, like when the wind whistles against a window

Interviewer: A windstorm on the phone

Irma: Yes, a buzzing, a loud whistling, so, ah, I told myself –

Interviewer: But it was outside?

Irma: I’ll tell you. When I looked at the phone, and heard this sound, I went outside, thinking my husband had forgotten something. I stepped out as far as there [points] where that little dog is.

Interviewer:

Irma: Up to there. That’s as far as I remember. Ten meters. I remember nothing more.

Interviewer: So four or five meters to the dog, and you lost sight of everything?

Irma: By the time I got here, I had no memory of anything.

Interviewer: [to camera] Friends, Irma is the woman about whom everyone has spoken, but this is the first time she’s speaking out.

News Presenter: Mirta, it’s such a pleasure to speak with you…

Interviewer: Irma, Irma

News Presenter: I’m so sorry, I’m awful with names. I apologize. Tell me, what is it that you remember?

Irma: As far as remembering, I remember very little. All I remember is the interference to my phone, the signal was lost. At that time, I stepped outside to where we have a covered porch, and I recall nothing else after that. I didn’t see any lights or anything at all. All I heard was the wind, a lot of wind, like an incredibly powerful wind.

News Presenter: And you woke up the next day somewhere else? Am I right in saying this? Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Irma: Yes, yes. Look, all I remember is that I wasn’t sure if it was night or day. I tried to open my eyes and all I could see was lights, many, many lights. And everything was white, as white as snow, you see. Just like that. But that same brightness didn’t let me open my eyes. It was something that kept my eyes from opening up.

News Presenter: And you couldn’t tell if it was day or night, or where you were?

Irma: No, no. No, no, no. Nothing. Nothing at all.

News Presenter: And you couldn’t hear anything or see anything?

Irma: Only the light, a very bright light that made my eyes shut again.

Interviewer: What did you feel?

Irma: I have no idea. No idea whatsoever. The next day I remember –

Woman’s voice: Yes, please tell us.

Interviewer: Go ahead, tell us, tell us.

Irma: What I do remember the next day is that I was sitting on the street with my legs outstretched, my arms on my legs. When I opened my eyes, I saw the street, I was at the edge of the street, I could see the other side, but I don’t remember how long I was sitting there.

Woman: And that’s what I was going to ask you. You disappeared for 24 hours. Do you remember the perception of time that you had? Did you feel 24 hours had gone by?

Irma: No

Woman: Did it feel like six months?

Irma: No, I only know what they told me. I don’t remember how long I was –

News Presenter: Right, and the place you turned up…was it known to you, did you recognize it or not?

Irma: Yes, because I’d gone by there. Which is why I’m telling you, after I got up, I walked around, I felt my body and noticed that I had my phone, right? The phone was in the pocket of my housecoat and it was on.

Woman: Your phone was on?

Irma: I don’t know how long –

Woman: Yes.

Irma: I don’t know how long I wandered around until I began reacting. When I looked at the phone, and saw it was on, I saw the time was 5:10 in the morning. That much I recall.

Reporter: So at what time did you vanish?

Irma: Look, it must have been around 7 in the morning.

Interviewer: 7 in the morning on Monday, and you appeared on 5 in the morning on Tuesday.

Irma: No, I disappeared on a Tuesday and reappeared on Wednesday

Interviewer: Ah, because that hadn’t been ascertained so far, getting the dates right. You were gone on Tuesday and came back on Wednesday.

Irma: Supposedly it was Wednesday.

News Presenter: That means there’s a one-night window of absence between Tuesday and Wednesday

Irma: Yes, yes.

Woman: Twenty-four hours

News Presenter: A little less than that, though. Twelve hours.

Irma: I don’t know, because I was around seven in the morning that I went outside and then appeared the next day as far as I know.

Interviewer: At five-thirty more or less. And when you came to and regained consciousness, you had enough presence of mind to take photos?

Irma: No, that came later. What I did first was phone my children. But I couldn’t speak. I started texting the kids. They tried to video call me, but all I could do was move my hands around, because I couldn’t [speak].

News Presenter: How? How did you move your hands around?

Irma: I moved my hands around because I couldn’t speak. Words wouldn’t come.

News Presenter: But you were able to see your phone?

Irma: Of course, and that’s why I began to text.

Woman: What you did was get in touch by messaging.

Irma: Of course, it was the first thing I did.

News Presenter: In fact, when you got to the hospital, you still weren’t able to speak.

Woman: When were you able to speak?

News Presenter: Irma, evidently, this is the first time you’re telling your story…the possible abduction…is that how you say it? By a UFO, in the enormity of the province of La Pampa. Now, you’ve surely told this to your friends, relatives, acquaintances. How did you say it, and how was it received? Did they believe you or not?

Interviewer: [to News Presenter] Esteban, look at this. This is the first time she’s spoken to anyone about it, except her husband. This is the first time she’s spoken about it.

Irma: And with my kids. I only discussed it with my husband and my kids.

News Presenter: And what did they say?

Irma: What were they going to say? They’re just as startled as me. I would like to know what happened to me, but I still don’t know anything.

News Presenter: But your children…you have two, is that right?

Irma: Three, three.

News Presenter: Your three children and your husband – I understand you all live together there in this farmhouse?

Irma: I’m sorry?

News Presenter: You all live together in the farmhouse?

Irma: No, not at all. My children are in town. I’m out here alone with my husband.

News Presenter: With your husband. So your husband was an entire day without seeing you?

Irma: Yes. Look, maybe it would be better if he told you.

Interviewer: Esteban, do you know what impresses me? Is that to get to the place where she was found, you have to make a complete turn. You have no idea how complicated it is to get here. What explanation do you have?

Interviewer: When you were found, your clothes were clean.

Irma: Yes, but they said I was very dirty, smelly…at least that what they said.

Interviewer: So you walked 60 kilometers?

News Presenter: Excuse me, if you were able to walk sixty kilometers on rural roads, dusty roads, at the very least your shoes or slippers would be covered in dirt, at the very least. Your clothes too, but the footwear, definitely.

Irma: Yes, but no matter how much, I don’t think I could walk such a distance in that time.

Woman: Irma, did you have any marks on your body?

Irma: Yes, I have something that was done to my head. That’s all I have.

News Presenter: Look at that cut! so weird. This is incredible, Marco! It’s a meticulous incision. And a tough one to do, am I right?

Irma: What I want is an explanation. How would I do this to myself?

Interviewer: I have a confession to make. You know, Irma’s case made me think of…do you remember the case of the Chinese woman who left Ezeiza Airport, walked a few kilometers, she’d suffered a stroke and was unconsciously doing some things. Did the doctors tell you if you’d had a stroke or anything?

Irma: Well, they took me to [the town of] General Acha, they performed X-rays and [earpiece falls out]

Interviewer: [fumbles to replace Irma’s earpiece]

News Presenter: It’s very strange, the thing about your head.

Woman: Very strange.

Irma: It’s as if –

Interviewer: Can I ask you a favor? Could you get up and show us where it happened? Come, come, that way we walk around a little [puts earpiece into Irma’s ear. News Presenter: It was seven o’clock in the morning, is that right?

Irma: Yes, yes. That’s the house. [Points to door and a cement path leading to a covered car port] I walked right up to there. From the blue curtain to where the little white car is.

Interviewer: So the abduction took place right there?

Irma: I don’t remember, but I know I got that far.

News Presenter: There’s interference, Marco. Did you step on a wire or is there something else going on?

Interviewer: I’m using the cordless mike, no wires involved.

News Presenter: Maybe I’m going deaf. Anyway, go on, go on.

Interviewer: [Pointing at spot] So that’s where it would have taken place [Buzzing metallic interference becomes noticeable]

Irma: Yes, as far as I know, it was right there. I don’t remember anything beyond that.

Interviewer: [to News Presenter] Esteban, let me tell you…the distance from the door to the entrance of the rural road is at least one kilometer. If there was a vehicle involved, she would have noticed. Right, Irma?

Irma: Yes, I suppose I would have. Aside from that, take a look, all I could hear was the wind. A very strong wind that seemed to suck you in, but that’s where I lost consciousness.

Interviewer: Yes, it’s very odd

News Presenter: The production staff is checking the weather forecast for that day and there was no call for strong winds, at least from what the records show.

Interviewer: [Walks with Irma to the carport, which contains a Mitsubishi SUV. A sleeping dog gets up and walks away. Camera focuses on two sizeable indentations in the soil] We’re standing exactly on the spot where the abduction took place. [Looks at Irma] The place you were kidnapped.

Irma: Yes, yes.

Interviewer: And from here, to the place where you were found, there’s a 60 kilometer distance.

Irma: That’s more or less what they say.

Interviewer: [To News Presenter] But notice something. Irma takes very short steps.

News Presenter: [Interested in the indentations] Would those be the mark, the record, of the event? Am I saying it right or not?

Interviewer: Now we’re noticing the interference. We got cut off.

Woman: Did you notice that?

News Presenter: Stop, we saw what looked like a pit of some sort. Or is it a natural depression on the soil?

Irma: No, that’s something the dog does.

News Presenter: Oh, OK, nothing to do with it at all. And Irma, could you tell me, how did the animals react? The dog, the cats…how did they react?

Interviewer: Dogs are highly sensitive.

Irma: I couldn’t tell you.

Interviewer: You weren’t there.

Irma: There’s nothing I can say.

Woman: Did you hear them bark?

Irma: Can’t tell you. All I know is that I got this far and…that’s all I know.

Interviewer: This is all very strange, guys. Very, very odd.

News Presenter: Irma, would you be willing to tell your story to an agency tied to the research into these matters?

Irma: No, I didn’t speak to anyone.

Leaked Footage of Debris From A Crashed UFO

This leaked footage looks like it was deliberately filmed to examine exhibits and show the different pieces probably as part of a cataloguing system.

I've actually seen the colour photo's of the Air Force News circus from the very day after the Roswell UFO crash. They paraded a load of paper and tinfoil with thin wooden sticks but nothing like this content was paraded in front of the whole world's News media that day. Also, it's understood that Alien beings were recovered from the Roswell UFO crash site. You've got to understand that the day before this news circus, the United States Air Force had just announced that a UFO had in fact crashed.

So, I'll focus on this specific video with the UFO debris and I'll show the photo's with my own personal thoughts and opinions. I hope you like this video. Every single News outlet from Taiwan to Torbay and from there to here and here to everywhere all wanted a journalist there covering it. Don't forget that this was the biggest revelation since the invention of the wheel or just as important information as anything else could possibly be? People now had confirmation that we are not alone in the Universe.

Although it was briefly, that answer coming from the Government was enough to bring a cold shiver to mankind. Knowledge of such things as this must have made some people wonder just who was their neighbours really...

They didn't have time to change their opinions because the next day it got retracted and a weather balloon was torn apart in the WC by the Air Force personnel and paraded around for the media to photograph because "woops" the Air Force had made a huge mistake. The pieces that I see here just below looks like they've been deliberately cut, take this exceptionally Alien looking piece of "Cross beam" which could be from a super structure of an Alien craft, say for instance the Roswell UFO crash. Would you agree that it looks like it's been deliberately cut?

It's leaked footage which insinuates the video wasn't intended for anyone else out of that specific agency yet they're showing off the pieces as if showing them to someone outside of the agency. But believe it or not, that fit's in perfect because if it's a cataloguing video it means that different departments within the agency can have copies etc and still keep a compartmental system in place.

I say that so that they can definitely rule out other countries advanced weapons or advanced aerospace systems.

I'm not sure how an agency like the Pentagon or NASA etc would come to an Extraterrestrial vehicle or if it's a straightforward process but logically thinking, nobody can just take one look and say it's UFO technology and the metal is from the frame. So, the process I listed earlier is more than likely gonna come into effect? Seek out the experts, have small snippets of information about a small conundrum and eventually the bigger question will be answered and in such a way that every single possible solution will be covered.

 

That's exactly why the compartmental system was started. Secrecy as well but overall, it's to further the information on any given task broken down and intensely studied. The theory that no - one person can know everything is still valid, but also all these little compartments of information will build up a super, well researched picture.

This UFO crash was and still is the most famous UFO event to ever have happened in history. I'm quite sure that it's a prime target for anyone looking to poke fun at the believer's of UFOs and Aliens alike. But I honestly can't think of anything or any reason why someone would fake a video of the Roswell UFO? Unless money is promised or paid up front even for a found footage style of Roswell video, then why would someone fake a convoluted prank like this? I might have just answered my own question there because money is the biggest motivation alway's.

Just remember that the US Government declared that a UFO had been recovered, but the very next day they retracted that story, so just remember that they could have been told by the power's that be to retract that statement, now!

Seattle Washington’s Historical Ufo Sightings

Back in the summer of 1947 – 64 years ago this week – Seattle had flying disc fever. It was sparked that June 26 when the P-I ran an Associated Press story from Pendleton, Ore., telling the story of pilot Kenneth Arnold seeing “nine bright, saucer-like objects flying at ‘incredible’ speed at 10,000 feet altitude.”

Arnold, a U.S. Forest Service employee, reported seeing the discs weaving in and out of formation between Mount Rainier and Mount Adams. If one dipped, Arnold said, the others did, too.

“It seems impossible,” he told a reporter, “but there it is.”

His account generated worldwide publicity and launched the flying-saucer frenzy. Rewards were offered for evidence. A pastor said “flying saucers” signaled the end of the world. A man found bleeding from the head claimed he was hit by a flying disk.

That summer, a group of “witnesses” in Seattle met with P-I editors to argue that they could not all be crazy. The paper’s files filled with the names of hundreds of citizens reporting saucer incidents. Within two months, the P-I ran at least 50 separate stories on flying disks.

On July 4, 1947, a Lake City man claimed to have caught a photo of one.

Yeoman Frank Ryman, off duty from his job with Coast Guard public relations, said he saw a shiny disc flying across the Seattle skies. Ryman rushed into his home in Lake City, then outside the Seattle city limits in King County.

“I grabbed my Speed Graphic (press camera) and field glasses and ran back outside,” the 26-year-old told the P-I. “The disc came over about 9,000 or 10,000 feet. It was flashing brilliant silver in the sun.

The picture, he said, was taken while the disc was directly overhead. He used Super-XX film, a 1/50 shutter speed with a f 22 lens opening.

“There was no noise,” he said, adding he watched it with binoculars. “No sound of engines. And I am positive there were no wings or fins in sight. It definitely was not a plane.”

After spotting the object and talking with neighbors, Ryman called the Post-Intelligencer and rushed to the newspaper’s darkroom.

“Enlarged many times the disc showed up clearly as a slightly blurred whitish object,” the newspaper’s account read.

That day, the P-I ran several reports of flying objects. In Twin Falls, Idaho, 35 flying discs were reported in a 20-minute period. A United Airlines pilot, Capt. E. Smith, also reported seeing three to five discs at 7,500 feet over Ontario, Ore., the night of July 4. A deputy sheriff also told the P-I he saw a flying disc that day on his trip north from the Clark County Courthouse.

“Yesterday alone, hundreds of people between San Diego and Seattle reported seeing the plate-like gleaming objects winging northward high in the sky at near supersonic speeds,” the P-I’s front page story read.

On June 21, 1947 – about two weeks before the Lake City incident – Harold Dahl was salvaging logs near the shore of Maury Island. Dahl said that at 2 p.m. he saw six doughnut-shaped aircraft, about 100 feet in diameter.

He said five of the metallic aircraft, which didn’t appear to have signs of propulsion, circled above one, which dropped to about 500 feet and spewed what he thought was 20 tons of metal and molten rock. Dahl reported to co-worker Fred Crisman that the falling debris injured his 15-year-old son, killed their dog and damaged the boat’s wheelhouse.

It was three days later that Arnold reported seeing the flying saucers.

The day after Dahl’s sighting, a man in a black suit arrived at his Tacoma home in a black 1947 Buick, Dahl said later. Books by UFO historians say the man in black threatened Dahl, saying that if he cared about his family, he’d never speak of the incident again.

He spoke of it at least one more time in July 1947, when he met with Arnold in a secret meeting in Room 502 of Tacoma’s Winthrop Hotel. Arnold wrote about the meeting in his 1952 book, and said they were also joined by the Smith, the United Airlines pilot, as well as Air Force Lt. Frank M. Brown and Capt. William L. Davidson.

Smith told The Idaho Statesman that Brown and Davidson were given six pieces of “metal or lava.” The chunks were loaded onto a B-25 bomber at McChord Field to be shipped to a California military base, according to the now-defunct Tacoma Times.

It was still dark in the early morning of Aug. 1, 1947, when a fire erupted in the left engine of the B-25. Longview police officers reported watching the B-25 circle over Longview and Kelso, leaving a streak of smoke behind the burning motor.

When attempts to extinguish the fire failed, two other crewmembers – Sgt. Elmer L. Taft and Tech. Sgt. Woodrow D. Matthews – parachuted to safety. Brown and Davidson, who some believe knew there were UFO parts on the plane, stayed with the bomber.

The B-25 crashed into the base of three alder trees. One initial newspaper report said Brown and Davidson’s mangled bodies were thrown clear.

On Aug. 3, 1947, an Associated Press report said the men died investigating flying saucers.

Some people who believe in UFOs are sure there was something suspicious about the crash. Many others say it was a simple tragedy, and newspapers at the time were caught up in the flying disc rumors.

Nearly 60 years later, in April 2007, a Kelso resident went to the crash site. In the north fork of Globe Creek a friend of the Kelso man found a black chunk slightly larger than a softball.

Later that month, University of Washington research engineer Bill Beaty analyzed the black fragment and said it was probably a meteor chunk or old lava “because it’s all full of little gas pockets, and gas pockets have crystals coating the inner walls.”

Beaty said he thought Dahl’s Maury Island UFO incident was just an exploding stony meteor, which would have explained what Dahl saw.

In 2007, Dahl’s daughter Louise Bakotich of Aberdeen told the P-I she didn’t know anything about her father’s UFO claim until 2003 when a man from Sacramento sent her research about it. Her brother, Charles Dahl, who was supposedly injured by the falling debris, didn’t confirm the injuries before his death.

The Army and Air Force have repeatedly denied that UFO fragments were on the B-25 flight, and the multiple flying saucer claims have been dismissed. But some still believe, and the legend remains.

Description (In Witness’s Own Words): 

I was 10 years old and at the Seattle World’s Fair with my dad. We were walking in the area by the base of the Space Needle and we approached a crowd of people, who were looking up. Both my dad and I looked up and saw approximately 8, maybe 12 round, gray in color objects, hovering in a straight row. I recall seeing heat waves coming off of them. And in super fast speed, the objects started “reshuffling” but staying at the same height, then stopping in a line again. Then, again in super fast speed, they all took off straight up to a point where they were just dots in the blue sky, then came back down to the same level they were, again in a straight line. They then did another “reshuffle, went back into a straight line, hovered, and then straight up again and gone. About 2 years ago, I brought this up to my dad to see if he recalled this, or was I just imagining it. He said with great certainty, that the events as I described them, did in fact happen. I have scoured the internet, trying to find any report from the time and nothing. This was a sighting in the middle of a clear, sunny summer day. There was absolutely no question that what we saw was real. I’m sorry that I don’t remember the exact date. I am curious to hear if you have any reports on this sighting though.

Investigator’s Notes: 

This sighting is most interesting considering that it happened during the daytime at an event attended by thousands of people (Seattle World’s Fair).  The witness was 10 years old at the time and vividly recalls the 8 to 12 hovering objects.  His father also corroborates his experience. I will be checking other UFO databases and the Air Force Project Bluebook files to see if this sighting was reported.  New information will be posted.

Dr John Rummel, a senior scientist at the Seti Institute in Mountain View, California spoke about his fears of space contamination at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) annual meeting in Boston. 

Dr Rummel said it was 'pretty easy' for alien pathogens to survive space journeys because they are shielded from the sun's ultraviolet radiation. 

He said it was therefore hugely important to isolate material that comes from other planets.

'If we bring samples back from either Europa or Mars, we will contain them until hazard testing demonstrates that there is no danger and no life, or continue the containment indefinitely while we study the material', he said.    

Scientists believe Europa has a salty ocean beneath its crust which may harbour simple life.

A patch of land in an ancient valley on Mars may once have been home to salty groundwater – and it could now be a prime target in the search for past life. 

'Introduced to the intense radiation around Europa, exposed microbes should die off in hours to days to weeks, but organisms protected inside the spacecraft would still be alive as long as the silicon chips are functioning.'

'Microbial life, as a whole, is pretty immune to cold, dry conditions,' he said. 

'It is assumed that such life would be hardy – to survive the trip to Earth; not easy – and precautions taken would provide a very high degree of containment.'

The scientist also raised concerns about space equipment from Earth contaminated these foreign worlds.

Dr Rummel said it was essential that there were systems in place to prevent contamination of pristine planets with microbes from earth. 

If organisms from Earth contaminated Europa it would make it much harder to find out the origins of the planet.

'Earth organisms in the Europan ocean could hide the origin of Europan life from science, forever,' said Dr Rummel. 

Mars has such harsh conditions that it was less likely to be affected by bugs carried on spacecrafts.

Aliens are not friendly? Was Stephen Hawking right about that?

The SETI Institute’s Allen Telescope Array (ATA) is hunting for radio signals from hypothetical intelligent alien life in our galaxy.

E.T. was the perfect extraterrestrial: Cute, smart, and — best of all — a perfect pacifist.

Unfortunately, scientists aren’t so sure that an actual intelligent alien would be so benign. In a recent interview with El País, famed physicist Stephen Hawking posited that an alien visitation would put Earthlings in the same position as Native Americans when Columbus landed on their shores.

“Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonize whatever planets they can reach,” Hawking speculated.

The likelihood that intelligent life is out there is up for debate; less discussed are the conditions necessary to evolve a life-form that’s both smart and nice. But the lessons from Earth suggest that intelligence and aggression might evolve hand-in-hand.

Social pressure

Would smart aliens have energy-intensive brains? Hard to say — perhaps E.T. could evolve a more efficient, yet just as clever, organ. But if aliens were sending signals into space or building rockets, they’d have to have achieved an intelligence that far exceeds what is needed to survive. 

Humans have done the same, and researchers can’t quite figure out why. The brain could have evolved to allow humans to use tools, but chimpanzees use tools without developing complex languages, art, and culture. 

One provocative theory holds that pathogens play a role: The brain is vulnerable to infection, wrote Hungarian researcher Lajos Rózsa in a 2008 article in the journal Medical Hypotheses. Showing off one’s cleverness may be a way of showing off how resistant one is to infection. After all, if you’re smart enough to invent language and art, you must be pretty good at battling brain parasites.

So perhaps intelligent aliens might be subject to alien parasites. Flinn and his colleagues favor another theory, though. They argue that humanity underwent a runaway cycle of brain evolution because of hominins’ social nature.

The ecological dominance-social competition hypothesis works like this: Human ancestors reached a point in which their interactions with one another were the most important factor in whether they’d survive and pass on their genes. Finding food and shelter was still important, Flinn said, but it wasn’t the main factor determining evolutionary success. The difference between clever humans and, say, caribou, is that intraspecies relationships drove evolution the fastest in humans, Flinn said. A herd of caribou has social interactions, to be sure: Males have to fight for mates, for example. But a more pressing concern would be avoiding predators and finding food. For hominins, these external issues became relatively less important, the theory goes, while their ability to form coalitions, to have empathy, and to behave in such a way as to win friendships from others became key to their survival. In this heavily social context, it became very important to be smarter than the competition. Each generation got a little smarter and a little better at building complex social relationships, which created a feedback loop in which even smarter brains were beneficial.

“The thing about social competition is it’s a dynamic challenge and it’s also creative,” Flinn said. “You need to have the better mousetrap every time. The competition adjusts to the current winning model, so you need to be one better than the current winning strategy.”

The model seems to work with other clever animals, too, he added. Dolphins, orcas, and chimps all form social coalitions with each other and depend on their social groups to survive. It’s possible that this social factor would hold for species on other planets, too.

Kind aliens

If intelligence evolves in the context of social competition, and aggression is the natural outcome of the competition, it’s hard to imagine that clever aliens could also be kind. Is this the end for hopes of sweet little E.T.?

Maybe not. The social competition model doesn’t work without cooperation, after all. Humans fight wage war and sometimes murder each other. But humans also form coalitions, care for each other and even build coalitions of coalitions, such as nation-states.

“There are two sides to our nature,” Carrier said. “It’s not that one is any more real than the other. It’s just who we are.”

Humans are unique among Earth life in forming long-lasting alliances between groups, not just individuals, Flinn said. Chimpanzees can’t pull that off, he said, so it’s not clear that aliens could, either.

“On Planet X, it may not be inevitable that social competition results in a morality and a creativity of the sort that allows this intelligent life-forms to negotiate with us for a mutually beneficial outcome,” Flinn said.

On the other hand, chimpanzees don’t explore space. Perhaps a civilization that can band together to reach for the stars has to be cooperative by definition. If that’s the case, humanity might be a greater threat to aliens than aliens are to humanity. Luckily, evolution has given humans the tools for peace.

“We can, in effect, rise above the design, potentially,” Flinn said. “If we understand what our brains are designed to do, we are going to be way more capable of rising above those tendencies that we have.”

If you’re looking for something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving (in the U.S.), how about showing some gratitude you’ve never been tricked by a shape-shifting reptilian alien who turned into your spouse and attempted to have sex with you. If you are preacher Sharon Gilbert, you’re probably more used to leading the Thanksgiving prayer than the object of one, but that’s her story and she stuck with it during a television interview about her alleged encounters with a reptilian alien.

“After Derek and I got married this other Derek appears in our bed. The real Derek is lying down next to me, other Derek sits right up out of him. It startled me. I knew that was not Derek and so I asked this critter, who are you? Because he clearly wanted to have sexual relations. He said: ‘I am your husband.’”

I’m your husband … really!

Thus began the tale of Sharon Gilbert’s encounter with a reptilian who had shapeshifted into her husband Derek, as told on a recent episode of the “Jim Bakker Show” – yes, THAT Jim Bakker. Sharon and Derek Gilbert are ‘End Times’ preachers and the hosts of “SciFriday,” a TV show billed as “Science news from a Christian worldview.” Sharon is the author of a supernatural fiction series and a couple of novels, and is a contributor to the book “God’s Ghostbusters: Vampires? Ghosts? Aliens? Werewolves? Creatures of the Night Beware!”, so it’s a safe bet she’s aware of reptilians and their alleged powers. She also knows her bible stories and immediately questioned when the faux Derek claimed to be Xerses from various books of the Hebrew bible. However, it was a subsequent encounter (she apparently had many like the first) that convinced her she was dealing with a reptilian – she reached over and grabbed his/its face.

“And I pulled that face off. And beneath it was a reptile. Little creatures with him this time, these little half-ling creatures and they looked like gargoyles, they were reptilian as well. So beneath that face of Derek was a reptilian serpentine creature, probably similar to what visited the Anasazi…”

Sharon Gilbert definitely knows her reptilian lore. The Anasazi were an ancient Native American culture that lived for 1,000 years in the Four Corners region of the U.S. until they abruptly and somewhat mysteriously abandoned the area. Why they left is still debated, but Gilbert is referring to the theory that they worshiped a reptilian god and were kidnapped and taken to the Moon by a reptilian – a legend which inspired an episode of The X-Files.

Which do you prefer — me or Derek?

This writer has purposely left out the religious aspects of Sharan Gilbert’s account and focus just on the ‘reptilian’ shapeshifting aspect. Those who believe in reptilians could see Gilbert’s account as a tutorial on why one should avoid them. Those who believe in exorcisms might see her tale and her writings as a guide to helping people who believe they’re possessed or tormented by non-human beings. There are also those who think she’s taking advantage of the gullible for the purpose of marketing her books and services (and those of her husband) … and appearing on “The Jim Bakker Show” certainly doesn’t help ward off those accusations.

Leaving out the religious bias and conspiracy theory aspects of Sharon Gilbert’s story, can you/do you believe any of the rest?

It’s too bad she didn’t keep the reptilian’s face.

Focusing still on my previous article – on 1951’s movie, The Day the Earth Stood Still – you will now see how easy it was for many of the so-called “Contactees” (people who claimed they had encounters with human-looking extraterrestrials in early 1950s America) to play roles not too dissimilar to those of Klaatu in that still-revered movie. The very-human-like “Space Brothers” (as they were known, and who became big “buddies” with the Contactees) were alien, too. They soon spent much of their time warning the people of Earth to drop their atomic weapons, however. Or else. In other words, they weren’t always buddies. One of the Contactees, whose story fits right into this subject of mind-alteration, was Orfeo Angelucci. In correspondence with Jim Moseley of Saucer Smear, Angelucci said he had been visited in 1954 by people from both the FBI and U.S. Army Intelligence. That was not at all surprising, as most of the Contactees had FBI files opened on them – largely because of their politics, rather than their alien claims. One of the stories that Angelucci shared with Moseley was particularly strange. On one particular night in December 1954, and after finishing working out in Twentynine Palms, California, Angelucci headed out to a local diner. That’s where things got strange. Angelucci recorded: “I felt a strangeness in the air. There is a cosmic spell over the desert most of the time, but tonight the mystery was less distant and intangible; it was close and pulsating.”

Angelucci was soon deep in conversation – in that same diner – with a man who identified himself only as “Adam,” a customer who claimed to be thirty-something and suffering from a terminal illness. Death was said to be just around the corner for the man. In an odd and synchronistic fashion, Adam claimed that he had read Angelucci’s book, The Secret of the Saucers, that he considered their meeting to be beyond just an amazing coincidence, and that he wished to share his thoughts with Angelucci before time ran out. As in quite literally. But, said Adam, before their conversation could begin, Angelucci had to swallow a pill. Of what kind Angelucci didn’t know. That didn’t stop him from doing exactly what Adam demanded from him, though. Angelucci took a gulp of water and the “oyster-white pellet” went down. For Angelucci, there was now no turning back. It didn’t take long before he felt weird, odd, and out of this world. In short, Angelucci had been drugged. It was almost like one of the most famous scenes in the 1999 movie, The Matrix, starring Keanu Reeves. You know the scene: the red pill versus the blue pill. But this was the world of the real. Not of Hollywood.

Angelucci said: “I took the pellet and dropped it into my glass. Immediately the water bubbled, turning slowly into the clear, pale amber contained in [Adam’s] own glass. I lifted the glass a few inches from the table, looking into it with a feeling that this might be the drink I dared not hope for. The exhilarating aroma rising from it could not be mistaken…I thrilled from head to foot as I took the glass, lifted it to my lips, and swallowed twice from it. At that instant, I entered, with Adam, into a more exalted state and everything around me took on a different semblance. No longer was I in Tiny’s café in Twentynine Palms. It had been transformed into a cozy retreat on some radiant star system. Though everything remained in its same position, added beauty and meaning were given to the things and people present there. Almost as an aside, Angeluci said: “Among the patrons dining that evening were two marines from the nearby base. Sometimes they glanced our way as they talked and drank beer following their meal.” Angelucci said that Adam seemed oddly obsessed with the glass and was “fraught with expectancy.” Suddenly, the sounds of music filled Angelucci’s ears. Incredibly, the music seemed to be coming from the glass itself. Or, rather, that’s how it seemed to Angelucci. The reality is that he was now completely and utterly stoned.

Angelucci stared at the glass and saw the figure of “a miniature young woman” who was dancing in that same glass! That’s right: the drugs were now kicking in to a high degree. Of the small woman, Angelucci said that: “Her golden-blond beauty was as arresting as the miracle of her projection in the glass. Her arms moved in rhythmic motion with the graceful thrusts of her dancing body.” What began as a pleasant meeting between like-minded souls soon became a drug-driven interrogation. By Angelucci’s own admission, he spilled the entire beans to Adam: the nature of his encounters, and the words of his alien friends. There was even a debate on politics, which is rather telling. Angelucci staggered home, his mind hardly his own for the next few hours. Such bizarre encounters between the Space Brothers and the Contactees were everywhere. At first glance, at least, the answer is very simple: they liked us and they wanted us to stay alive! Maybe, however, there is more to it than that. In fact, much more than that. And, perhaps, there are disturbing reasons for that apparent concern for our welfare – and even our existence. Before we get right into the heart of it all, however, let us first take a look at the Space Brothers, for those who may not be acquainted with the strange subject. Although it was the summer of 1947 when the term “Flying Saucer” was coined, sightings of – or encounters with – alleged aliens didn’t really begin on a large scale until the early 1950s. That’s when the aforementioned Space Brothers surfaced from wherever they came. And it’s also the period in which the matter of nukes began to surface, too.

The Space Brothers were described as looking eerily human-like – the major difference being that the males had very long hair, which, of course, was a rarity during the dawning of the 1950s. The women looked like women on Earth. Both the males and the females occasionally had some very slight differences in their facial appearances, but nothing that really stood out as odd or unusual. The aliens chose certain figures to spread the word that the human race should get rid of its nuclear weapons. And if we didn’t follow the path of the creatures from other worlds, then we would surely all be fried in a radioactive holocaust of our very own making. Those who the Space Brothers and the Space Sisters chose to work with included George Van Tassel, Dana Howard, Truman Bethurum, Mollie Thompson, Orfeo Angelucci, George King and Margit Mustapa. And they were just the tip of the iceberg. For the best of fifteen years, or of a bit more, those Space Brothers and Contactees acted out just like Klaatu did on the big screen.

While we are yet to turn up a whisper of hard evidence to support the hypothetical existence of life beyond Earth, we are nonetheless always looking for it. If or when we ever do find that evidence, though – or even just begin to piece together the first, incremental traces of it – we need to be ready, NASA scientists say.

In a new scientific commentary – led by none other than the space agency's chief scientist, James Green – NASA researchers make the case for why we need to establish a framework for reporting evidence of extraterrestrial life.

"Our generation could realistically be the one to discover evidence of life beyond Earth," the team writes. "With this privileged potential comes responsibility."

According to the researchers, the discovery of alien life by humanity is unlikely to be a yes-or-no, all-or-nothing event.

Rather, it's more probable that the detection of extraterrestrial life will be a drawn-out, evolving process of scientific investigation and discovery – and the sooner that's understood by everybody, the better.

"History includes many claims of life detection that later proved incorrect or ambiguous when considered in exclusively binary terms," the researchers explain.

"If, instead, we recast the search for life as a progressive endeavor, we convey the value of observations that are contextual or suggestive but not definitive and emphasize that false starts and dead ends are an expected part of a healthy scientific process."

Such is the complexity of this kind of multi-tiered, qualitative assessment, that we need a progressive scale to measure and chart new discoveries – something much like the technology readiness level (TRL) scale that NASA itself uses to track the progress of spaceflight instruments, all the way from concept to implementation in actual missions.

In the context of astrobiological detections of life, NASA says we could use an analogue: a "confidence of life detection" (CoLD) scale, with the lowest levels of the scale focusing on the initial identification of potential biosignatures, with higher levels reserved for more specific and certain measurements of the subject.

Such a nuanced scale – tracking potential life detections against a series of objective, progressively more demanding benchmarks – would help place all purported biosignatures in a standardized context, helping the research community (and the broader community following their work) to interpret whatever new findings scientists report.

"Establishing best practices for communicating about life detection can serve to set reasonable expectations on the early stages of a hugely challenging endeavor, attach value to incremental steps along the path, and build public trust by making clear that false starts and dead ends are an expected and potentially productive part of the scientific process," the researchers write.

"Whatever the outcome of the dialogue, what matters is that it occurs… In doing so, we can only become more effective at communicating the results of our work, and the wonder associated with it."

The perspective has been published in Nature.
