First Contact
Some scientists are eager to make first contact with extraterrestrial civilizations — if there are even any out there.
Last month, for instance, a team at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory published ideas for an updated memo to broadcast to potential aliens, a “binary-coded message” that “has been developed for transmission to extraterrestrial intelligences in the Milky Way galaxy,” according to their study.
But not everybody is thrilled about the idea of giving away our galactic location. In fact, some experts believe it’s extremely risky business.
Anders Sandberg, a senior research fellow at Oxford’s Future of Humanity Institute (FHI), told British newspaper The Telegraph that sending out a message “has such a high impact that you actually need to take it rather seriously.”
Sandberg likened such a message to “a postcard saying ‘Wish you were here.'” Besides, “the poor aliens might already be getting various messages sent for all sorts of reasons,” he told the newspaper.
Wish You Were Here
Sandberg and his colleagues are calling for public discussions before broadcasting our location to any extraterrestrial civilizations that may be listening in.
“These dangers are small, but poorly understood and not yet well managed,” Sandberg’s colleague at the FHI Toby Ord wrote in a 2020 book called “The Precipice” on the topic.
“The main relevant question is the ratio of peaceful to hostile civilizations,” Ord wrote, as quoted by The Telegraph. “We have very little evidence about whether this is high or low, and there is no scientific consensus.”
“Given the downside could be much bigger than the upside, this doesn’t sound to me like a good situation in which to take active steps toward contact,” he argued.
There is only one known intelligent species that exists on Earth and that is Homo Sapiens (modern humans). Is that true? Factually yes, but there are theories stating the presence of other intelligent beings in our solar system and on Earth. The University of Nottingham estimated that in the worst case, there must be at least 30 active extraterrestrial civilizations in our galaxy.
But the important question is: Did any of them contact the inhabitants of Earth? There are no official records of them. But verbally a few people who held reputable positions in the government confirmed the extraterrestrial contact and their regular visit to our planet.
In 1837, the Scottish scientist Thomas Dick figured that there are at least 22 billion aliens (while other sources suggested 22 trillion) living on every surface of the Solar system. He had a really big idea: Build “a huge triangle or ellipsis of many miles in extent, in Siberia or any other country for the aliens to see it with unaided eyes. Though it sounds totally absurd but such thoughts help the human consciousness to explore more into the vast space.

Moreover, there are accounts of locating artificial structures at various places in the solar system. Popularly known as “The Great Moon Hoax” is the story published in The New York Sun in 1835 under the name of the astronomer John Herschel that he had found life on the moon. According to it, Herschel erected a huge telescope in South Africa that magnified celestial bodies up to 42,000 times. When he pointed at the Moon, he saw giant creatures and humans living on it. The story later became the most famous media hoax of all time. But is it?

Fridman asked Dr. Nolan: “How many alien civilizations are there in the universe?” He replied: “Innumerable. I would just be surprised – what a waste of all that space, just for us. What kinds of empires have risen and fallen across that space that we’ll never know about, and isn’t that sad, to not know about something so grand.”
Is there any alien civilization in contact with humans?
Contact with intelligent life other than humans is not just a modern conspiracy but it is mentioned in the ancient texts. In 2017, the CIA declassified about 12 million pages of records revealing previously unknown details about the program that later became known as the Stargate Project. In the CIA documents, one experiment is described where the most famous medium of this project, Joseph McMoneagle, was offered to take an astral journey to Mars approx. 1 million years B.C in 1984. “I just keep seeing very large people. They appear thin and tall, but they’re very large. Ah… wearing some kind of strange clothes,” McMoneagle said.
Another story of contact comes from the late CIA pilot John Lear.
Lear talked about a July 1987 incident when an enormous UFO reportedly followed a cargo plane over Anchorage, Alaska, and a 1975 incident when UFOs reportedly hovered over Strategic Air Command bases. Investigative journalist George Knapp asked Lear about the church’s view of UFOs in the interview in “On The Record,” a 30-minute TV show broadcast on KLAS TV in Las Vegas in the late summer of 1987. At one point, Lear said: “The problem is not only just the fact that there are five and as many as 10 different civilizations visiting us. Apparently, and this is from the research that I’ve done, at least 90% of them are hostile. And when I say hostile, if not hostile, they have a completely different set of morals than we do.”

During his interview with Coast to Coast AM radio program, Lear made some statements that could be hard for anybody to digest. He said that in 1953, a UFO crashed with an extraterrestrial named EBE 3, who helped the US government to build spacecraft with alien technology. Then he said that in 1962, a craft with incredible speed was built to carry passengers and take them to Moon in just 60 minutes. In 1966, NASA had a trip to Mars. What’s more, “humans there were adapted to breathe in the thin atmosphere.”
John Lear also said that NASA astronauts flew to Mars in 1966. Moreover, Lear believed that astronauts had been preparing for this mission especially long. They introduced certain drugs into the body, allowing people to adapt to Martian climatic conditions. Allegedly, those astronauts could breathe rarefied Martian air, so NASA had the opportunity to launch humans on the red planet for a longer time.
There is another case that adds some light on the origin of humans. Alex Collier is one of the famous alien contactees who claimed that for over 30 years, he had been in contact with aliens from the constellation Andromeda. Their contact included multiple visits to aliens’ spaceships and telepathic connections for decades. Many well-known UFO enthusiasts considered Alex to be credible, at least in the sense that he tries to convey as fully as possible the information received from his contacts with the Andromedans. Alex Collier said that his first encounter with the Andromedans took place in 1964. Since 1985, he had been in constant and consistent communication with them. In 1993, he began attending seminars where he started sharing the information he received from the aliens with the people. In 1997, he even got a threat from some unknown people who wanted him to stop spreading the information. He took it seriously and did not speak until 2002.

In his last lecture before he retired from the UFO lecture circuit in 2002, Collier said that the ancient alien race known as the “Founders” are responsible for building planets’ environment and make them suitable for life. The Andromedans and the Pleiadians believed that this ancient alien race is called the “Paa Tal.”
He even said that those aliens are capable of removing moons to alter the planet’s position from its sun to control the amount of radiation. Andromedans could reportedly create a solar system.
According to Collier, humans are consist of 22 extraterrestrial races. In his interview in 1994, he said that all human life originated from the constellation Lyra. He said that the aliens from Andromeda were humans in every way. They were 4 to 8 feet tall with white & blue skin. He even talked about the missing children, the coming New World Order, control of dark forces on the world politicians, the existence of Reptilian aliens, our religions, and the history of Earth and our Universe.
Conceding the Collier case, there might be some truth as Former Canadian Minister of Defense Paul Hellyer said that aliens not only exist but are on Earth among people. He said that there have been four alien species visiting Earth for thousands of years.
Paul Hellyer, who held a high public office in the 1960s during the Cold War, claimed that he had learned for certain about the existence of aliens during his time in the military. The behavior of extraterrestrials toward humans is divided into both good and bad notions. In Astronaut Edgar Mitchell’s case, the aliens are called non-violent whereas Lear called them hostile. It can be possible that humans might be in contact with both friendly & hostile alien civilizations.

Almost half a century has passed since humanity sent the legendary Arecibo message and scientists have created a brand new updated version. But is it a good idea?
The newly proposed “A Beacon in the Galaxy”, a binary message created by scientists as an update to the old Arecibo message, might actually be more dangerous for us than beneficial. It includes key information about us – our location, our DNA structure, and even an image of the naked human body.
Should we give aliens such vital details about Earth and humanity? This question has been around for ages and countless renowned scientists have expressed their concerns in the past. Even Stephen Hawking explained that a hypothetical alien civilization could be hostile.
Is the Beacon in the Galaxy better than the Arecibo message?
While the old radio signal included important information about Earth and humanity, it was more like a postcard with difficult-to-understand images. The new “Beacon in the Galaxy” message was created like a presentation with complex illustrations and explanations.

New universal concept
Scientists believe that complex mathematics might be unrecognizable for any potential alien intelligence while binary has a better chance to be universal. It is the simplest form because it involves simple oppositions – zero/one, yes/no, etc. Therefore, scientists assume that there is a bigger chance that aliens would understand this simple binary code.

Particle Physics, DNA Structure, Solar System
Scientists wanted to include all the vital information about Earth and humanity in the smallest possible message. After the introduction of binary in the opening slide, they introduced the main laws of particle physics, the structure of our DNA, as well as the Solar System, and our planet in it.

Location in the Milky Way and an Invitation to aliens
Scientists used globular clusters in the Milky Way that should be known to hypothetical alien astronomers to pinpoint our location in the galaxy. They also included an invitation to anyone that may find the “Beacon in the Galaxy” message to send one back to us.

How can this message be sent into space?
The team of scientists hopes to use one of two telescopes – the Allen Telescope Array in California or the FAST Telescope in China. This is mainly because these are the two telescopes that SETI researchers use in their work while most other observatories tend to close their doors to this type of work. The other issue, for now, is that both of these observatories can only search for signals and not yet send such into space.

Where will the new message be sent to?
Assuming that the new message gets approved, it will be sent towards a concentric ring that is about 13,000 light-years away from the center of the Milky Way. Scientists noted that it is impossible to guess the right direction for the radio signal. So, they picked a target that has attracted the attention of SETI researchers in the past. Previous studies suggested that if alien life exists somewhere in our galaxy, it would be near the galactic center.
Is there any point in sending more messages to the aliens?
Obviously, we have not received an answer to the Arecibo message which was sent out in 1974 and there is no surprise here. Estimations suggest that if we send the Beacon in the Galaxy, it could take 50,000 years before we get a hypothetical answer. In truth, experts hope to find signs of alien life using other more advanced and quicker methods.

Could such a message be dangerous for humanity?
How can we know if hypothetical alien civilizations would be peaceful or hostile? This argument has been around for decades since before the original Arecibo Message. What if send key information about humanity such as our location and technological level and the extraterrestrial intelligence that intercepts it wants war. My imagination can come up with various scenarios in which such a message could have a devastating result but what do you think?

Perhaps alien civilizations already know about us?
Messages like Arecibo and Beacon in the Galaxy are just a couple of examples and scientists have sent multiple other signals into space in the past. Moreover, we have practically been broadcasting our existence ever since humanity started transmitting radio waves. In other words, alien intelligence can notice us even without such messages. If alien astronomers use the same or at least similar techniques to detect technosignatures and biosignatures, they would have already found us by now.

Could Aliens Already Be Living With Us?
Could aliens already be living with us? A farmer finds a mysterious creature that has never been seen before on earth, a woman claims to have been fathered by extraterrestrial life and in Nevada, a US serviceman claims to be friends with aliens living at a secret base. William Shatner believes aliens have infiltrated the human race, do you?
Official history tells us that 17 missions were launched between 1961 and 1975, of which 11 were manned (Apollo 7 through Apollo 17). During this time, 6 successful landings on the lunar surface were made. The Apollo 18, 19, and 20 flights were canceled due to the lack of new scientific value at the huge expense of the state budget and taxpayers. However, in 2007, Italian freelance journalist Luca Scantamburlo took a written interview with William Rutledge, who claims to be a member of the secret Apollo 20 mission.
According to him, he was an employee of Bell Laboratories and served in the US Air Force. Rutledge attracted public attention by starting to distribute photographs and videos of the Apollo 20 mission online in 2007 which captured the same spaceship and its pilots.
Alien Spaceship Found On Moon With Alien Bodies
What is the essence of the information from Rutledge? He claimed that during the Apollo 15 mission to the moon, an unidentified man-made object was discovered and photographed on its surface.
During missions 16 and 17, several more photographs were taken and reconnaissance of the terrain from orbit was carried out. The task of missions 18 and 19 (which was no longer officially) is not really clear: Rutledge only says that during these missions, a number of problems occurred, as a result of which research data was lost. It was originally planned to land next to an alien ship and study it using rovers.
Humanoid body found on the moon during Apollo 19&20
In 1976, the Apollo 20 mission was launched, which included: William Rutledge, Aleksei Leonov, and Leona Snyder. They managed to land by the ship, get inside, inspect the interior of the ship, and the bodies of the pilots. One of the sources said that they not only examined the bodies but also took the head of one of the bodies with them.
The dimensions of the ship were 3370 x 510 meters; the age is estimated at 1.5 billion years; inside, there are many signs of biological life: remnants of vegetation in the engine compartment of the ship, stones of a triangular shape that exude a yellow liquid that has some medical properties, the remains of small bodies (about 10 cm) that lived in a network of “glass” pipes piercing the whole ship.
Alien Spaceship
They found a humanoid, female, 1.65 meters. She had genitals, hair, six fingers (we assume the math is based on a dozen). She was a pilot, there was an aerobatics device connected to her fingers and eyes, the body had no clothes, and they had to cut two cables connected to the nose without nostrils. Leonov detached the device from the eyes. Blood clots or bio-fluids burst and froze in the mouth, nose, eyes, and parts of the body. Some parts of the body were in unusually good condition, hair and skin were protected by a thin transparent layer of protection. The condition seemed neither dead nor alive. The booth was full of inscriptions and formed from long, hollow hexagonal tubes.
Apollo 19 & 20 missions
On the other hand, one can only guess that this was the ship of the Anunnaki, about which Sitchin or some other guys wrote.
Doubts are caused by the number of fingers, these humanoids have 12 of them (6 on each hand), and we know that the Anunnaki used the hexadecimal numbering system and on all the frescoes, they have 5-fingered palms.
We also know that the Anunnaki had a parallel mission in low-Earth orbit: one part of them worked on Earth, the other part remained on the mother ship. It may well be that they used the moon and one of the ships remained there. Another interesting fact is that the team of engineers who actually implemented the Apollo project was headed by Wernher von Braun, who during Nazi Germany worked for the benefit of the Third Reich, creating for them the famous V-2 rockets.
Braun came to America along with many other German scientists removed from Germany as part of Operation Paperclip in 1945. And the colossal technological breakthrough of the engineers of the Third Reich happened due to cooperation with the occult societies of Ahnenerbe and Vril, who obtained information from the ancient egregors of the Gods related to our civilization.
Braun had an interesting chain of events: German occult societies -> moving to the USA -> working on a space program -> detecting an alien spacecraft, possibly the very same Gods who advised the Nazis. He survived until 1977 and saw the launch of Apollo 20 and, moreover, according to Rutledge, was personally present at the launch.
The link between CIA and UFO mystery is dated back to 1947. Since then, many CIA officials and the ex-US military personally propelled UFOlogy by giving shocking statements. Former CIA & US military officials such as R. James Woolsey, Derrel Sims, Lue Elizondo, David Fravor, etc. described how the existence of reality all around us that we are unable to perceive could be a major aspect of the UFO phenomenon.
Recently, two veteran CIA officers Jim Semivan & John Ramirez, who have expressed personal interest in UFO/UAP issues and cases, joined the George Knapp show to discuss the CIA’s role in the study of UFOs and their own experiences.
Jim Semivan spent 25 years with the CIA and then joined other former government insiders as part of Tom Delonge’s To the Stars Academy. He detailed how he was inducted into the CIA and learned spycraft, which takes years to master. The CIA works on a “need-to-know” principle, so when it came to UFOs, Semivan was not made specifically aware of research on this topic, though CIA analyst Kit Green was known for pursuing the paranormal.
Jim Semivan worked for 25 years as an Operations Officer for the CIA’s Directorate of Operations.
On Coast to Coast AM Semivan described his own alien-type encounters that occurred to him and his wife starting in 1990, in which beings showed up in their bedroom. The incident was authentic, and not a hypnagogic or dream state, he stipulated. The couple subsequently observed on-and-off poltergeist activity in their home, and more recently, he said he saw a hooded figure that resembled the Death Eater character from Harry Potter, who perhaps materialized to herald the death of a close friend. Semivan said he concurs with a remark made by Skinwalker Ranch researcher Colm Kelleher that the UFO phenomenon is a lot more than nuts & bolts and machines, as there are also psychic and biological elements that ratchet up the high strangeness. To the Stars’ investigation of “metamaterials” with odd isotopic ratios (possibly associated with UFOs) was ongoing, he added.
In the first half of the interview Semivan said:
“I think they mention that the phenomenon is a natural part of our universe, and we’re living in it but we don’t recognize it. The same way that insects and animals don’t recognize the human universe. A cat and a dog could be running through a library, but they don’t have the faintest idea what the books are all about and what libraries are all about. We might be walking through our existence and there’s a whole other reality that surrounds us that we just simply don’t have the ability to see or interact with.”
“It seems to be peeking inside our little consensus reality. As I explained to somebody once, it comes close, it teases us, it cajoles us, it lies to us, but you can never take it home to meet the parents. It won’t allow you to do that. There’s no formal introduction. Add on top that there’s no ontology, which is just a fancy word, it basically means there’s no structure to even discuss this. We don’t have a common lexicon. Somebody said we have dots but no connections. I don’t even think we have dots.”
John Ramirez, a 25-year CIA veteran who specialized in ballistic missile defense systems, was featured in the latter half of the interview. He recalled his long-standing interest in spycraft, and how he shifted from being a Navy officer to the CIA in 1984. He compared intel gathering to being a journalist for a news service, though his sources for reports were typically clandestine.

Like Semivan, he also experienced what might be considered alien abduction-type experiences, including being placed on an examination table in a circular craft. Interestingly, a number of his counterparts in the CIA and NSA also had UFO experiences, he revealed. In his job related to missile defense, he became aware of times when Russian radar would detect unusual craft, and in one instance, he said they tried to lure a UAP into landing.
Ramirez noted that CIA historian Gerald Haines wrote about the agency’s study of UFOs from 1947 through the 1990s, for a division that was initially called the Office of Scientific Intelligence. What was particularly intriguing to Ramirez was that the division had life sciences and medical people on staff, indicating possible interest in alien bodies.
He also described how an Air Force pilot on the plane that flew near Kamchatka to monitor Russian tests observed a massive “milky white wall” of light flying toward him at 6,200 mph, though the Air Force assumed it was some kind of countermeasure by the Russians. Regarding the military sightings of ‘trans-medium’ UAP like the Tic Tacs, Ramirez said he does not believe that Russia or any other foreign country has the capabilities to produce this kind of antigravity technology.
Lue made these points in several interviews, but in this one, he was asked to elaborate on his comments about how our senses are reductive and limit our reality, and how this might be relevant to the phenomenon. He replied:
“This is something we’ve been dealing with for a long time. Imagine the first person to get on a boat and sail over the horizon. There’s stories of sea monsters and Krakens that will devour you and destroy your boat. Yet, we did it anyways. We did sail, and we explored the world. It turns out, 500 years later, there really are sea monsters. We call them the Great Squid of the Pacific, and great white sharks and whales.
Now they’re just part of nature and have a scientific name, but those sea monsters still exist. They’re there, we just learned to understand them. Maybe this is the same thing. Maybe this is just another expedition over the horizon where we’re going to realize what we thought were monsters are really just neighbors.”
Interestingly, Garry Nolan, Lue Elizondo, Tom DeLonge, and Jacques Vallee say very similar things when it comes to the reality of the phenomenon.
There are dozens of alien contactees who claim that they either visited the extraterrestrials’ spaceships or were contacted by aliens physically & mentally. But the story of Nadira Duran of California began even before her birth. She is also known by her spiritual name, Azi-Azon, which simply means “Ancient.” She basically called herself a spiritual medium (or a channel), who is here to deliver the message of higher beings (Greys & Angels) to save humans from self-destruction. Besides, she is known for her healings, using Tarot, palmistry, giving classes, and lectures.
Before she was born, a huge white light had visited her parents and instructed them on how to raise her. They were told that heavenly beings would give their daughter spiritual knowledge for healing humans. When she was born, her face was covered with two veils (normally, there is one that rarely occurs fewer than 1 in 80,000 births), and after the nurse removed it, she saw her skin glowing and called it a “magic skin.”

At that time, her parents lived in a desert in California, and many people wanted to see her magic skin which lasted for 10 days, but her parents were very protective, so they left the place and went to her grandfather’s house in Oregon. Nadira lived there among the farmers and loggers and often went on exploring the place with her younger brother. She said that she had been visited by a not very tall ET many times (whom she designated as the “Cat Man”) when she was only 5 or 6. But it came only in summer, not in other seasons.
“I was small for my age and he had a round face he had curled up eyes very small just like little slits that curled up oh he had yellowish skin which was rough and bumpy you know how you get goosebumps. This is how his skin was and then he had big yellow spots and then from here he had these wild what I thought was hairs they could have been some kind of feelers or something but in my mind’s eye I have always referred to him as a cat man,” Nadira said.
She had lots of conversations with this ET, and he shared some highly advanced information with Nadira which could only be revealed to the future generation. She learned spirituality under the watchful eye of archangels Micheal, Gabriel, Raphael, Sunder Singh, etc. She accepted that she had no power on her own, and whatever she got was taught by the spirits she applied in he alings. Moreover, she does channelings.
Nadira had an interesting incident in her life when she was in her twenties and went to San Francisco with her friend Mary on a business trip. Inadvertently, they found themselves on the wrong way while returning. Mary noticed that they were heading to the Golden Gate Bridge which was not in their path. They felt like under hypnosis of something. The night was clear, but the bridge was covered with a thick fog, and there was no sign of people on it.
Mary was trying hard to accelerate the car, but it did not go fast. Then Nadira looked out of the window and found themselves above the bridge. Her friend’s reaction was rather positive than being shocked. That’s it, she only remembered the part of being lifted up but did not see any ship or light. Next, they were parked somewhere near a hotel and sitting for long in a car till the next morning. What they had witnessed was actually a “Lost Time.” They had no clue what had happened but they lost around 13 hours.
Nadira already knew that they had been abducted by the aliens but did not want her friend to know about it. Somehow, Mary’s boyfriend did hypnosis on her and shockingly, she recalled everything that had happened in those lost hours.
Anyway, they both never discussed it, and years later, in the mid-1980s, Nadira went for a laparoscopy. Her tests were normal, everything was fine but her gall bladder and a rib were missing. Interestingly, she thought it was a mistake because she had never had any surgery, and there is no surgery mark on her abdomen. Later, she recalled her abduction that had happened in the 70s and then found out that an advanced ET technician had removed her gall bladder for goodness. What’s more, she met an alien on the ship, whom she called the “Commander.”
The Commander told her that she was special, not like others. The ship had panels with symbols like ancient languages, and each symbol represented different universes. The Commander took her on a ride to a universe where she saw a purple and pink planet with beings on it. They were smaller in size but had no flesh on their body. Then she returned to the place where they began.

Nadira had many contacts with the Commander who was actually a female Grey alien in a special bodysuit and face mask. The alien told her that their bodies were very fragile, and any germ or bacteria from her could kill them. Their race had a very weak immune system, they had lost the ability to give birth, their women could not get pregnant and outnumbered the men. So, to strengthen her (Grey) race, they had been mixing themselves with humans.
Surprisingly, the Commander told her that they were actually from the Earth and time-traveled from the future to find her through genetic codes. The grey told her about a great disaster that would come in the future, and that the “New World Order” would destroy humanity. Nadira saw a scene of 9/11 and various riots that were going to happen in the future through time travel. The grey alien told her that there were people who wanted to enslave humans. Their biggest goal was only to start a war and earn money. Those people were not any world leaders or presidents.
The commander said: “Ones who are in power today on your earth rule you by fear. The ones who are in power are not the ones that are the kings and the presidents. There are a select few that are in power, these are the ones that want the New World Order these are the ones that want to enslave the people of Earth. These are the ones who will be the downfall of Earth because they are warmongers these are the ones that are wanting to make money because money is their God.”
Nadira said that her main purpose on Earth is to enlighten humans about infinite love which is their only chance to survive, otherwise they would end up like the Greys. From her knowledge that she received from spirits and the Cat Man, she wants to help people to have peace.

There has been a recent increase in media attention to reports of witnesses to UFO sightings who went on to later report a variety of other paranormal activities in their lives. These events run the gamut from reports of alien beings to orbs of light or even ghosts. Perhaps more disturbingly, the events were not restricted to the locations where the UFO sightings took place. Sometimes the phenomena would follow them to their homes or even their workplaces, impacting their families, friends or even coworkers. These types of events have been described as encounters with paranormal "hitchhikers."
The most recent and popularly cites instances emerged from the latest books and documentary series describing the events at Skinwalker Ranch, in Utah. Researchers who have visited the ranch and observed anomalous craft in the skies and other phenomena have reported returning home and dealing with even stranger experiences. These range from the merely curious, such as odd failures of automobiles or electronic devices to one person whose family saw werewolves in their backyard.
It's not just researchers and scientists who are impacted. British musician and television host Robbie Wiliams visited the ranch as part of a television production. He later confessed that he is now frightened that he might be "taken over" by a hitchhiking alien or some other type of entity. These reports appear too numerous to write off as simple paranoia or delusions.
But similar stories are not limited to the modern era and one enigmatic ranch in the American West. They've been reported from many parts of the world dating back to times long before the world heard of Skinwalker Ranch. Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist for the band Kiss, confessed during an interview that he had seen multiple unidentified flying objects, including at least one that was "tube-shaped" and another that landed in the yard behind his house, leaving scorch marks in the grass. The weirdness didn't stop there, however. He later began seeing ghosts, going so far as to say that one of them had "punched him in the face."
In 2000, a man named Stan Romanek from Denver, Colorado observed an inexplicable craft in the skies and even managed to catch it on film. It wouldn't be the last time and he went to so see a variety of craft or orbs flying overhead. But the intensity of his experiences increased when he began reporting seeing figures of various sorts around his property, culminating with three "beings" literally knocking on his door one night. Romanek believes he was abducted and continued to have other interactions with these entities for years to come.
Yet another group of examples can be found in reports emanating from Lassen Volcanic National Park in northern California. Tourists visiting the remote park have frequently described UFOs entering and exiting the volcanic craters found there. One such witness was Sol Vasquez, who visited the park in 2015. After multiple sightings of anomalous craft were reported in the area, Vasquez and a friend went jogging along one of the trails in the park. At one point, Vasquez described hearing an eerie noise that his friend said he could not hear. Shortly thereafter, he saw a "reptilian humanoid" humanoid stepped onto the trail in front of him. Once again, his hiking partner could not see anything unusual, but he chased Vasquez back down the trail as his friend fled in terror from the being.
I've been paying particular attention to these types of reports recently because of events that have struck closer to home. Following three sightings of unidentifiable craft in our neighborhood in upstate New York in 2021, some less frightening but still unsettling events visited our family. Both of us began occasionally encountering something around our house that looked for all the world like a cat, except it was composed entirely of what we could only describe as a solid, featureless shadow. I began calling it a "shadow cat" while my better half calls it the "ghost cat." To be clear, it's never done anything aggressive or frightening and we've experienced no damage or harm from it. But it's certainly peculiar.
So is there some sort of relationship between what witnesses may describe as a "nuts and bolts" unidentified flying object and the more ethereal phenomena that many witnesses report in the aftermath of a UFO sighting? As with most questions that pop up in this field of study, the data doesn't appear to support the drawing of any firm conclusions. But as many observers, including scientists and government officials have already begun to speculate, the universe may turn out to be far stranger and more mysterious than we had previously imagined.
Before his death, Hawking said: ‘If you look at history, contact between humans and less intelligent organisms have often been disastrous from their point of view, and encounters between civilisations with advanced versus primitive technologies have gone badly for the less advanced.’
His warning, issued in 2015, was in response to the $100 million Breakthrough Listen project – which also involved looking for alien life in space.
But the Beacon in the Galaxy contains much more than just the location of Earth for any aliens wanting to pay us a visit.
It will also include a map of our planet, information on the chemical makeup of humans and images of a naked man and a naked women.
That’s right, we could be sending unsolicited nudes out into the vastness of intergalactic space.

‘The proposed message includes basic mathematical and physical concepts to establish a universal means of communication followed by information on the biochemical composition of life on Earth, the Solar System’s time-stamped position in the Milky Way relative to known globular clusters, as well as digitized depictions of the Solar System, and Earth’s surface,’ wrote Jonathan Jiang, a scientist at Nasa’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, in a study explaining the idea.
Jiang and his colleagues have published the study on the preprint site arXiv while it is waiting to be peer-reviewed.
‘The message concludes with digitized images of the human form, along with an invitation for any receiving intelligences to respond.’
The message also includes a map showing Earth’s position in the solar system (Credits J. H. Jiang et al., 2022)
According to the team, the message will be sent as a beamed radio wave from radio telescopes in China and California after they’ve been modified to send it.
The team is fixing to send the message to a point 13,000 light years from the galactic centre of the Milky Way. An area, the scientists say, which ‘has been proposed as the most likely for life to have developed’.
As for whether or not they should contact aliens, the scientists give their reasoning that any aliens that have gotten far enough along in evolution would know the importance of peace.
Or, as they put it: ‘The arguments against the continuation of communication have been explored and stated on the record: would the ETI [extra-terrestrial intelligence] be peaceful and even if they are, would human nature mean that war with ETI is inevitable, possibly causing the extinction of another sentient race?’
‘However, logic suggests a species which has reached sufficient complexity to achieve communication through the cosmos would also very likely have attained high levels of cooperation amongst themselves and thus will know the importance of peace and collaboration.’

Jiang and the other scientists say that a public discussion is ultimately required so that we can reach a “maximally-informed consensus” on whether or not we should be sending party invites out to any aliens that happen to be listening.

Yesterday, May 18, 2020, this camera recorded the mass evacuation of thousands of UFOs, which simultaneously launched from the surface of our planet and flew into outer space.
Look at these shots and remember, all this happened in reality and was filmed by the camera from the ISS. What is this if not a mass evacuation from planet Earth?
Thousands of ships simultaneously start from our planet at the moment when the ISS was on the edge between the dark and light sides of the Earth.
They take off at a tremendous speed, these are not our antediluvian liquid fuel rockets, these are very different and very advanced technologies that only representatives of extraterrestrial civilization can possess.

How To Tell The World You’ve Found An Extraterrestrial Civilisation

You’d think that after innumerable hypothetical scenarios of humans establishing contact with alien civilizations, we’d be ready to actually find one. Finding sentient life beyond Earth, on the other hand, is definitely going to be one of the most seismic events in our species’ history.
So, if you’ve just discovered an alien civilization, how do you break the news to the rest of the world? This is a monumental task, and I’ve been involved in the development of some guidelines for scientists working on extraterrestrial life searches. The findings will be published in the Acta Astronautica journal.
Some think that it is just a matter of time until we encounter intelligent life, given the millions of dollars presently being poured in efforts like the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI).
Personally, I’m not convinced, but skepticism alone isn’t enough to call off a search. Regardless of our initial preconceptions, the scientific method encourages us to examine our theories via observation and experiment.
I don’t think it’ll be a message from an extraterrestrial civilization or a landing party if we ever locate traces of sentient life.
It’ll more likely be something more mundane, like traces of manmade pollution in an exoplanet’s atmosphere. It might potentially take the shape of massive buildings constructed into the ground to collect energy and offer dwellings
We should be able to spot such megastructures in planetary transit data, such as that acquired by the Kepler Space Telescope, as I demonstrated in a paper a few years ago.
True, Kepler did see strange objects like Tabby’s Star, KIC 8426582, that had characteristics that were predicted to come from artificial structures. But, like most scientists, I’m still skeptical – a swarm of comets around Tabby’s Star, causing extraordinary brightness variations, is the most logical explanation.
What’s particularly promising about this is that it demonstrates that SETI can be done “on the cheap,” using publicly available astronomical data to look for aliens. This appears to be a lot more appropriate method for a pessimist like me.
The explosion of the online activity surrounding Tabby’s star – blogs, tweets, news reports, and a Kickstarter drive to encourage the public to sponsor more observations – exemplifies how different the world has become since SETI began roughly 60 years ago.
A world that is hyper-connected
What should the discoverers do if proof of alien life ever arrived to us from the stars? Astrobiologists have been debating this for decades.
A group of SETI scientists even drafted a set of post-detection guidelines in 1989 to help scientists navigate the processes following discovery.
These procedures involve confirming the discovery with your colleagues and contacting “relevant national authorities” (I’m not sure what this means), then the scientific community, and finally the general public via a press release.
This set of standards, however, was developed before the internet. We used to get our news from the newspaper or the television. Even 24-hour news was still in its infancy at the time.
Nowadays, the news world is a fragmented realm of items shared by our friends and family and presented on our devices and in our feeds via a number of social media channels. Data travels at a breakneck speed and is readily amplified and distorted.
That’s why my colleague Alexander Scholz and I decided to revisit the topic, wondering how SETI’s post-detection methods might evolve to fit our hyper-connected world.
We immediately recognized that scientists require instruction even before they begin an experiment, let alone after they have made a discovery. It is now standard practice for new scientific initiatives to create a blog to document their progress, and SETI will be no exception.
A precise description of what a particular project will accomplish, as well as the criteria for a successful detection, a false positive, and no detection, should be included in the blog. This would make it easier for journalists and the general public to understand the findings correctly.
Individuals engaged must be trustworthy communicators of their work, thus establishing a strong digital presence early on is critical. We also advise them to update their security settings to protect themselves from malicious persons broadcasting their personal information, which is, unfortunately, a genuine threat these days.
If a team is fortunate enough to make even a speculative, unconfirmed discovery, they must be certain that they have nothing to conceal. Leaks are unavoidable and occur at an alarming rate. Nobody wants a narrative about “aliens discovered” that turns out to be bogus. The easiest approach to accomplish this is to disseminate data as soon as possible.
If it’s evident that the discovery is unverified, and natural or man-made causes can’t be ruled out, conspiracy theorists have no place to complain about the scientists’ complicity with the men in black (an accusation flung at me more than once). It also allows other scientists to review the study and confirm the discovery.
Of course, we’ve all seen some of the comments on YouTube or other media sites — numpties abound, and there appears to be no stopping decent scientific debate from devolving into incomprehensible diatribes and disgusting hate speech. As a result, the most crucial piece of advice for scientists is to participate in the dialogue.
If a widely reported discovery proves to be erroneous, the team should issue an urgent public statement stating that no aliens have been located and explaining why. If they have to, they should write a paper retracting it.
However, whoever discovers intelligent life should expect it to consume the rest of their lives — there won’t be much time for anything else. Instead, their new mission will be to assist mankind in accepting its new status as one of many sentient civilizations in the cosmos.
SETI, as a modern astronomical endeavor, dating to 1959 (first paper) and 1960 (first observation). Modern UFO sightings date to the late 1940s. Though superficially similar, the two fields in practice have had virtually nothing to do with one another. SETI usually requires a graduate degree in astronomy, and its scientists tend to disdain UFOers for requiring nothing more than a camera that takes blurry photos and a butterfly net in case a little green man appears.
However, the two camps may be moving closer together.
In the classic SETI paradigm, stars are observed for artificial signals. But this communication strategy has severe drawbacks from ET’s point of view. In order for it to succeed, ET would have to target each of potentially millions of promising nearby stars (including ours) continuously, and do so over potentially billions of years. Additionally, it would need to maintain a dedicated receiver for each target star to be certain not to miss a return message if and when it arrives. The cost of this strategy to ET in time, energy and materials would be immeasurable. Further, by announcing its presence to so many stars, it invites disaster should any civilization prove aggressive. Added to this is the problem of communicating with a target civilization of which it would know nothing. Perhaps the transmitting civilization communicates in color oscillations like a cuttlefish, while the recipient only understands bee-like waggles.
Building on the work of others, I have hypothesized that aliens would be better served by sending robotic probes. Relatively simple flyby probes might intermittently surveil nascent solar systems, for example, at 200-million-year intervals. Star systems with biogenic planets might be surveilled more often. Highly capable probes might be placed permanently in the vicinity of planets that have achieved multicellularity as indicated by their oxygen-rich atmospheres or other biosignatures.
Once a permanently placed probe had detected artificial electromagnetic leakage, indicating that one multicellular species had become technologically intelligent, it would attempt to decode the species. Using Sesame Street, Khan Academy and YouTube, and even granted its enormous onboard AI capabilities, it would still take time for it to decode Homo sapiens’ languages, science, math and culture. After many decades of work by E.O. Wilson and others, we now know a little something about ant communication but are still far from a complete decoding. How very much more difficult would it be for ET to decode humans? Even if it has been watching episodes of I Love Lucy that have been leaking out into space since that show was first broadcast, it may still not understand them.
The local probe might need to send data back to its home base for deeper analysis and/or instructions on how to proceed. If the probe began transmitting data to its home in 1950 after its detection of early television signals, and if that home base were located at the modest distance of 150 light-years, then the earliest year in which the probe might receive instructions to make contact with Earth would be 2250.
However, when we do finally hear from a local probe, after it has decoded us, its transmissions may be in a terrestrial language. The ensuing dialogue will take place in near real time, as opposed to the painfully slow dialogue between ourselves and an alien civilization transmitting from a star at hundreds or thousands of light years distance. An alien probe need not reveal the location of its home base, obviating any danger to the progenitor civilization. A fully autonomous probe would be able to communicate with us even if its progenitor civilization is long extinct.
Provided that a probe does belong to an existing civilization or network of civilizations, there remains the problem of how it might communicate with them. To do so directly would require an enormous transmitter. The better solution would be to string communication nodes at close proximity to one another, perhaps one in orbit around every star, and perhaps located at a sufficient distance from the star to enable the use of it as a gravity lens, per Einstein’s theory of general relativity. For the sun, that focal point begins at 550 Earth-sun distances (AU) at which point the node would achieve signal gain of approximately a billion.
Large numbers of ET civilization might contribute to this nodal system, and the store of information would only grow with time regardless of whether the contributing civilizations persist or have gone extinct. We might contribute Aristotle, Shakespeare, Beethoven and Monet to this Encyclopedia Galactica. However, we will not be in a position to barter our culture; having surveilled our TV and internet for at least 70 years, ET has probably already uploaded all it wants. Nonetheless, ET may wish to recruit us into the galactic club so that we might manufacture probes and nodes, and otherwise take responsibility for the maintenance of the interstellar communication system within our immediate stellar neighborhood. That would be our bargaining chip.
SETI stellar observations presume a very faint signal that would require Earth’s most powerful telescopes to detect. However, highly sensitive telescopes have very small fields of view. Detecting a local robotic probe requires the opposite strategy. Because of a probe’s close proximity to Earth, its signal would be much brighter than an interstellar beacon, even under the conservative assumption that its transmission will be on the order of only a few watts. Consequently, SETI’s best strategy would be to sacrifice great sensitivity in favor of a wide a field of view or, better yet, all-sky-all-the-time observing. Such systems are being built now or planned.
Purported sightings by military pilots of objects that defy all known aerodynamics in their sudden and steep accelerations may be delusions, hoaxes or optical illusions. Nevertheless, many SETI scientists now agree with UFOers that the first alien detection plausibly could occur within our own solar system. Both UFOers and SETI scientists should also agree that if some UFO sightings are genuine sightings of aliens, then they must be of robotic probes rather than vessels crewed by biological beings. If nothing else, such beings would be crushed by the g-forces of their purported, very large, accelerations.
The evidence is still lacking that would fully unify UFOers and SETI scientists—and yet the space between these two groups may not be so far vast after all.
