Every now and again, when I’m either lecturing on the Men in Black phenomenon, or being interviewed on radio on the subject, the matter of Jello surfaces. Yeah, really. It’s a fact that the MIB and Jello have a connection, as strange as it certainly sounds. Google “Men in Black + Jello” and you’ll see what I mean. You will find numerous references online to a certain case from the 1960s – involving a Man in Black and Jello. But, not everyone knows the full story. So, today, I thought I would rectify that.

John Keel, the author of the acclaimed 1975 book, The Mothman Prophecies, was someone who had a deep interest in the Men in Black enigma and who even found himself in their clutches from time to time. Of the many cases that Keel personally investigated, one of the strangest has persisted – probably because of its sheer weirdness. It’s a story which had its origins in late 1966. And, it’s a story which Keel shared in his 1970 book, UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse. Keel also made mention of the case on many occasions in his lectures, too. But, on with the story.

The location was a field in a rural part of the 19^th century city of Owatonna, Minnesota. It was late one night in ’66 when a Mrs. Butler and a friend were staring at a patch of the night sky, watching a curious display of unidentified bright lights dance around. Without warning, one of the lights dropped from the heavens at high speed. Just before it hit the ground, the UFO came to a sudden halt, bobbing just a few feet above the field, not unlike a small boat on ocean waters. In disturbing fashion, Mrs. Butler fell to the ground and briefly appeared to be under some kind of supernatural possession. Suddenly, the light shot away, vanishing into the night sky, and Mrs. Butler recovered. Ominously, and for the next few days, whenever the two friends tried to share the details of their encounter they were hit by pummeling migraines and debilitating weakness. But, there was something else, too.

During the course of the interview between Mrs. Butler and John Keel, something very intriguing surfaced. Quite out of the blue, she asked Keel if he knew anything about mysterious men visiting UFO witnesses; men who looked like military personnel, but who may not have been. Keel, who was hardly a stranger to the MIB phenomenon, played matters down a  bit and said that, yes, he had heard a few such stories. Actually, Keel had dozens of such cases on record, but he didn’t want to risk influencing Mrs. Butler. Instead, Keel sat back and listened as she told her story.

Mrs. Butler told Keel that some six months after the UFO sighting, a “Major Richard French” turned up on her doorstep, identifying himself as a representative of the military and asking questions about flying saucers. Just like all of the Men in Black, there was something just not right about Major French: his skin was an odd shade of olive. His face was extremely pointed, and particularly so his chin. He spoke English, but his accent was as blank as it could be. And he was dressed in a suit and a black tie, rather than in a military outfit.

Very oddly, Major French – quite out of the blue – said that his stomach was causing him some trouble. Mrs. Butler offered him some Jello, which he quickly declined. He soon left. The next day, though, the major was back. Yet again, he complained about his stomach.  Mrs. Butler again offered him a bowl of Jello, hoping that it might help. Here is where surreal became beyond surreal. For a moment or two, Major French stared at the Jello, seemingly completely unaware of what it was. He then stared at the spoon Mrs. Butler had given him, as if he had no comprehension of what it was. He then awkwardly picked up the bowl and proceeded to try and drink the Jello. Mrs. Butler went silent and stared in disbelief. Major French did not hang around, realizing, it seems, that Mrs. Butler knew something was not quite normal – which is an understatement of absolutely epic proportions. He quickly left, never again bothering Mrs. Butler.

So, now you know.

 Turcotte explained that the country granting a land, the necessary extraterritoriality, and the authorization for the ET Embassy to be built within its territory will not only benefit financially, but will also become the spiritual and scientific center of the planet for millennia to come, and happiness will prevail within its borders.

‘’Welcoming an extraterrestrial civilization isn’t a mere fantasy the way it was viewed as in the 70s when Rael created the Raelian Movement with the mission of building an Embassy to welcome them,” added Turcotte. “Since then, thousands of planets have been discovered including some with an atmosphere and all the necessary elements to sustain life. Not to mention that scientists now agree that the probability of intelligent life outside our solar system is very high, and millions of people have seen UFOs and know that an extraterrestrial civilization is showing interest in us, thus confirming this probability.”

“The conditions for the general population to accept the idea of an official welcome are met, but violence on our planet is so high that we need the wisdom of those who created us and who want to meet us again more than ever,” concluded Turcotte.

Raelians believe that an extraterrestrial civilization created all life on Earth including human beings, and they believe it is a very peaceful and far more advanced civilization compared to ours, both scientifically and philosophically.

Astrophysicist: ETs May Have Already Lived And Died In Our Solar System

As science continues to search the cosmos for evidence of intelligent extraterrestrials and, at the very least, for habitable planets that might harbor even non-intelligent life, one scientist is raising another eye-opening question: Was there a time in the far distant past when an advanced civilization actually lived on one of the planets of our solar system, long before earthlings evolved?

Pennsylvania State University astrophysicist Jason T. Wright suggests that ancient aliens may have lived on nearby planets hundreds of millions of years ago, before vanishing without a trace.

In a new scientific paper, “Prior Indigenous Technological Species,” published in Cornell University’s research archive, ArXiv, on April 24, Wright speculates:

One of the primary open questions of astrobiology is whether there is extant or extinct life elsewhere in the solar system. Implicit in much of this work is that we are looking for microbial or, at best, unintelligent life, even though technological artifacts might be much easier to find.

But if a prior technological, perhaps spacefaring, species ever arose in the solar system, it might have produced artifacts or other technosignatures that have survived to present day.

Here, I discuss the origins and possible locations for technosignatures of such a prior indigenous technological species, which might have arisen on ancient Earth or another body, such as a pre-greenhouse Venus or a wet Mars.

HuffPost asked Wright how far back in time he thinks aliens might have lived in our solar system and if some of them may still be lingering out there.

“It seems pretty clear there aren’t any now. That’s become more clear as we’ve explored the solar system robotically. In terms of large, intelligent, technological civilizations, that seems pretty case closed,” he said in an interview Friday.

While Wright pays tribute to the imaginations that created tales of Martians and moon dwellers in his paper, he remained cautiously open-minded about what’s possible in time and space. “While the applications of this idea in science fiction are usually fanciful, it is unclear to what degree the existence of such species in reality is allowed or disallowed by evidence,” he wrote.

In the interview, he said he thinks it’s interesting to wonder if there could have been a previous species on Earth that used technology like we do and if there’s any room in the geological or fossil record for that, or have we completely foreclosed it?

“My guess is that we can rule out big swaths of the Earth’s history. The farther back you go, the harder it is to rule something like that out. If they’re very old, there may not be any traces. Things don’t last long. If you put something in orbit around the sun, it’ll be subject to collisions with asteroids and meteors.

“So, anything, including planetary surfaces in the solar system, just gets constantly hit with these things. When you’re on the surfaces of objects, like asteroids or moons or planets, those surfaces can also completely turn over, given enough time.”

NASA defines astrobiology as “the study of the origin, evolution, distribution and future of life in the universe. This multidisciplinary field encompasses the search for habitable environments in our solar system and habitable planets outside our solar system.”

Wright told HuffPost of two important ingredients in looking for signs of life somewhere in space.

“In the field of astrobiology, we talk about what are called biosignatures. If you look at a planet or a moon that has life on it, how would you know? What is the signature ― the signal ― that says this is life and not a completely sterile object? So, that’s a biosignature.

“A technosignature is the same idea but not for any life ― it’s for the technology that’s been engineered and constructed and designed by life. For instance, a radio transmitter would be one of our most obvious technosignatures. And we build large structures. The Empire State Building is a technosignature.”

According to Wright, it’s important to keep searching.

NASA Scientist Finds Massive Alien Spacecraft Hiding In Saturn’s Rings

A Former NASA Engineer has made headlines around the globe after claiming that supermassive alien spacecraft exist in our solar system and are hiding within Saturn’s massive rings.

These claims were quickly spread by both American and Russian mainstream media outlets—which is kinda’ weird—suggesting that not only are there alien spacecraft around Saturn, but these mysterious objects exist around other planets like  Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune.

The former NASA engineer, Dr. Norman Bergrun—who happens to be a vivid UFO researcher—believes the alien spacecraft are actually ‘feeding off of the energy of the planet’ via the rings, in order to  “proliferate,” which he believes is a worrying situation.

And these spacecrafts aren’t new to the solar system says Dr. Bergrun. The former NASA boffin has been saying how alien spacecraft are proliferating in our solar system since 1986, when he published his book “Ringmakers of Saturn.”

As noted by the Inquisitr: “Bergrun is a distinguished former NASA research engineer who has made major innovative contributions to multiple U.S. aeronautic, missile and rocket programs. He has also won many top science and engineering awards, including the California Society of Professional Engineers Archimedes Engineering Achievement Award.”

But Bergrun’s statements have been heavily criticized since he appeared on the controversial YouTube Channel of SecureTeam10, noted for posting countless UFO related videos, which many skeptics have called out as being fake.

Dr. Bergrun has spoken not long ago in a video published by SecureTeam10’s YouTube channel where he explains the mystery behind Saturn’s, its rings, and the numerous alien spacecraft that he claims reside there.

In the video, Dr. Bergrun speaks of “long cylindrical objects” in the rings that appear to have “exhaust systems” among other apparently amazing findings, reports Sputnik News.

In his book Ringmakers of Saturn, published in 1986, Dr. Bergrun claimed that not only were Saturn’s ring ‘plagued’ by alien spacecraft, these otherworldly visitors may have been responsible for the ‘creation of the rings’.

In 2016, Dr. Bergrun said that these mysterious crafts inhabit Saturn, Uranus and Jupiter: “I say it is electromagnetic because I can identify streamline patterns with respect to it I knew were what we called ‘potential lines’ — and that says it was electrical. I could tell that those lines demarked the outside of an object,” he added.

UFO hunters and paranormal researchers believe in Dr. Bergrun’s story, saying that Bergrun most likely witnessed top-secret NASA images during his time working on the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics (NACA) and Lockheed Martin on highly classified aerospace projects.

His conclusions, according to UFO researchers, are based on the evidence he gathered from the images.

Meanwhile, a team of scientists from the Plymouth University believes that we should take help of artificial intelligence to find the alien life. According to researchers, artificial intelligence has witnessed rapid developments and it can help us in predicting the probability of life on other planets.

He adds, “We’re also looking at the use of large area, deployable, planar Fresnel antennas to get data back to Earth from an interstellar probe at large distances. This would be needed if the technology is used in robotic spacecraft in the future.”

Each connection (a simplified version of a synapse) between artificial neurons can transmit a signal from one to another. The artificial neuron that receives the signal can process it and then signal artificial neurons connected to it.

Mr Bishop further revealed that his team has trained the ANN by supplying data of hundreds of planets and different spectral profiles to determine the habitability of a planet.

A conspiracy theorist has claimed that the Nasa live stream from the International Space Station has produced evidence of seven UFOs lingering above Earth.  

Not only is this thought to be proof of ET's existence, the theorist believes the aliens are probably friendly.

With so many 'sightings' from the ISS, the beings could come face-to-face with humans in 15 years, claims the unknown conspiracy theorist known only as 'Graham'.

A conspiracy theorist has claimed that the Nasa live stream from the International Space Station has produced evidence of UFOs lingering above Earth

The UFO-tracking conspiracy theorist told the Daily Star that aliens are here and making their way to us.

He said: 'Sightings all over the world are increasing at a dramatic rate.

'We are being watched and observed like a large planet sized scale lab experiment, I am of the opinion that the other races visiting our planet are not hostile.

'After all, with the technology they must employ to travel vast distances etc, I'm sure they could wipe us out in the blink of an eye.

'And the fact we are still breathing on this beautiful planet means either they are here to help or observe.'

The evidence presented by Graham was obtained during a live feed from the ISS on March 31.

He then uploaded the edited footage to his YouTube channel Conspiracy Depot.

It was revealed that the UFOs were observed between 11:20 pm BST and 11:50 pm BST. 

With so many 'sightings' from the ISS, these UFOs could house friendly beings that will come face-to-face with humans in 15 years, claims conspiracy theorist 

More worrying than the claims of nearby, unknown powerful beings of unknown origin is the belief that we will soon be directly interacting with the aliens.

Graham revealed: 'Eventually, they will make themselves known.

'There is a theory that a timescale has been firmly set and agreed by world leaders and the ET's and I think the time for disclosure will be within the next 15 years.

The unknown conspiracy theorist known only as 'Graham' claims the unknown powerful beings of unknown origin is the belief that we will soon be directly interacting with the aliens

Graham believes that the anomalies are proof of UFOs. Some people have suggested that it could have been the Tiangong-1 space station reentering Earth's atmosphere instead 

'Imagine how this will impact the Earth, new technology, medicines and way of life, our whole civilisation could change to reflect one of unity and peace.

'Some people call them 'watchers' or 'observers' I think these quotes are correct.

'There may be other hostile races too which we are being protected from also which is very reassuring.' 

Many have attempted to discredit the claims, saying that the anomalies could be fragments of the Tiangong-1 Chinese space station in one of its last orbits around Earth.

Whilst UFO conspiracies are commonplace, and increasing in frequency, there's almost always a simple explanation.

There are a number of common phenomena that can cause strange objects to appear in ISS footage, including lightning storms high over Earth's surface and tricks of the light.

In the past, a Nasa spokesperson has explained to Dailymail.com: 'Reflections from station windows, the spacecraft structure itself or lights from Earth commonly appear as artifacts in photos and videos from the orbiting laboratory.'

In a previous statement to MailOnline Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Investigations Manual, said: 'Nasa can't win when it comes to dealing with UFOs.'

He added: 'Even if it was debris, it doesn't turn it into a extraterrestrial scoutship filled with tentacled aliens.'

WHAT IS THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION?

The International Space Station (ISS) is a $100 billion (£80 billion) science and engineering laboratory that orbits 250 miles (400 km) above Earth.

It has been permanently staffed by rotating crews of astronauts and cosmonauts since November 2000.

The space station is currently home to two Russians, three Americans and one Japanese. 

Research conducted aboard the ISS often requires one or more of the unusual conditions present in low Earth orbit, such as low-gravity or oxygen.

ISS studies have investigated human research, space medicine, life sciences, physical sciences, astronomy and meteorology.

The US space agency, Nasa, spends about $3 billion (£2.4 billion) a year on the space station program, a level of funding that is endorsed by the Trump administration and Congress.

A U.S. House of Representatives committee that oversees Nasa has begun looking at whether to extend the program beyond 2024.

Alternatively the money could be used to speed up planned human space initiatives to the moon and Mars.

HERE’S THE MIND-BOGGLING REASON WE PROBABLY WON’T MEET ALIENS WHILE THEY’RE STILL ALIVE

And according to the newly updated numbers, it’s not looking promising. 

“If the civilisation emitted from the other side of the galaxy, when the signal arrives here, the civilisation will already be gone,” one of the team, Claudio Grimaldi from the Federal Polytechnical School of Lausanne in Switzerland, told Lisa Grossman at Science News.

The research team also includes Frank Drake himself, now professor emeritus at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Each of the variables in the Drake equation are open to debate, but the scientists assumed a civilisation lifespan of 100,000 years as a marker, which is how long it takes light to cross the galaxy. Even an alien empire that lasted that long would only fill “a small fraction” of the galaxy with signals, the study determines.

What’s more, given the frequency of the signals we send out into space, an alien civilisation would need to be within 50 light-years for us to have heard back from them at this point, the researchers found.

While a hardy group of aliens who survived longer than 100,000 years could fill the galaxy with bouncing signals, there could again be gaps if new civilisations don’t spring up often enough to fill them, the data shows.

Another interesting finding was that the number of extraterrestrial signals crossing Earth at any one time should correspond to the number of civilisations currently broadcasting, whether or not the signals we’re hearing are from past or current civilisations. The researchers are still writing up their thoughts on that one.

The aim of all these calculations is to get a better perspective on our lack of contact with alien lifeforms so far. Is it because no one else is out there? Or is it because we just have a very low chance of hearing anything?

This is still all preliminary though – the paper produced by the team has yet to be peer-reviewed by other scientists, though it is available online.

For now though, we shouldn’t expect to be hearing signals from alien lifeforms that are still around – at least not with an assumed civilisation lifespan of 100,000 years.

“The transmissions arriving at Earth may come from distant civilisations long extinct, while civilisations still alive are sending signals yet to arrive,” write the researchers.

In the three years that Corey Goode has been revealing his stunning information about secret space programs, extraterrestrial civilizations, and diplomatic meetings, there has been a steady build up to some major revelations about humanity’s future. It appears that a critical threshold was reached in a December 2017 meeting near the planet Saturn where multiple delegations met to discuss humanity’s future in light of the ending of 22 genetic experiments run by multiple human-looking extraterrestrial civilizations.

In a prior article, I discussed Goode’s report about an earlier December 16  “Super Federation” meeting he attended near the planet Jupiter involving over 60 human-looking extraterrestrial delegations, where he played the role of spokesperson for the Sphere Being Alliance. This is a group of higher density beings (6^th to 9^th density consciousness) who have been acting as a kind of Galactic umpire over the last few years to encourage diplomatic solutions to Earth’s multiple conflicts involving dozens of competing extraterrestrial groups, Inner Earth civilizations, global elites and secret space programs.

At the Super Federation meeting, Goode said he was told to relay to the assembled extraterrestrial delegations that their long term genetic experiments involving humanity needed to come to an end, and that humanity would be left alone to determine its own future. Despite some initial protests, Goode revealed that this decision was accepted by the Super Federation, making it possible for another diplomatic meeting a few days later (December 19-21, 2017) where the process for creating a new Super Federation governing human affairs would begin.

To some, what has been written so far may sound delusional and many will demand evidence to prove at least part of it before even considering it possible. At the moment, however, there is no hard evidence to substantiate Goode’s claims. On the other hand, there is no hard evidence to disprove any of them either, despite determined attempts by some critics to discredit his testimony and credibilty.

In the three years that I have been researching and writing about Goode’s incredible assertions, I have found no evidence of deception. Instead, I have found multiple sources corroborating his information from many different perspectives, e.g., whistleblowers/insiders, documents, and contemporary events.

My research has been documented in three books so far, which detail, compare, and analyze his amazing claims. Comprising over 1200 written pages and 1500 references, the clear conclusion reached in the Secret Space Program Series is that Goode is very credible, honest and truthful about the events he has witnessed, and taken part in.

In addition, I have met and communicated with senior military intelligence officials who have likewise accepted Goode’s information as accurate, and have quietly assisted him with some very high level national security information. If Goode was perpetuating a hoax, as some of his critics contend, I doubt such high level officials would be helping him.

For those drawn to the Corey Goode information, keeping an open and discerning mind is required to fully understand what he is telling us, and how it is relevant to our lives. Goode’s revelations not only inform us about key historical events and political processes that have not been publicly disclosed, but also what the future holds for us.

It’s quite clear that Goode has been chosen to play a unique and special role as a witness to extraordinary galactic events and meetings occurring today. He has no other formal role except occasionally acting as a spokesperson for the Sphere Being Alliance when they choose to appear at off-world diplomatic meetings. Where Goode is used to relay information to participants even when the Sphere Being Alliance members are physically present.

This was spectacularly demonstrated at a meeting in March 2015, where afterward Goode described how he appeared on stage along with two members of the Sphere Being Alliance before roughly 120 VIPs and delegates drawn from multiple secret space programs, global elites and private civilian groups at a secret facility on the Moon called Lunar Operations Command. It was this March 2015 meeting that launched Goode into a series of meetings, abductions, and encounters, which subsequently led to the December 2017 meetings that have become the most significant to have occurred so far.

It is Goode’s role as delegate for the Sphere Being Alliance, and the status this accords him from the perspective of other groups and forces both on and off-planet, that requires us to keep an open and discerning mind to what he is telling us. Goode is giving us all vital information about events that lie ahead, and we should not be distracted by the noise of competing voices wanting to distract us, intentionally or not, from important galactic developments.

This takes me to the most recent galactic meeting that Goode attended, only a few days after the December 16 Super Federation meeting near Jupiter. He discussed both of these meetings in a January 13 article and his March 27 Cosmic Disclosure interview. 

Goode described being taken to a nearly identical temporal anomaly near Saturn by representatives of seven Inner Earth civilizations. The craft that transported him had a total of 40 Inner Earth participants comprising the seven groups.

Intriguingly, Goode says that these Inner Earth beings are descendants of humanity’s future selves, a small group of whom time traveled into the distant past to maintain an optimal timeline. They did this to ensure that Draconian Reptilians would not overtly take over the planet, thereby establishing a global tyranny.

Goode says that when he arrived at the Saturn facility, he was met with representatives of 52 civilized worlds from the local cluster of stars in our region of the Milky Way. In his March 27 interview, Goode described the physical appearance of these representatives:

They were all humans of different types, and most of them were not Caucasian. They were different types of olive skin, brown skin, and even a kind of a tan skin. But they were representatives of each of the local 52 stars. And they are all basically our cosmic cousins. They are human beings, just different types. 

He pointed out that one of these groups, the famed Olmecs who had mysteriously helped develop human civilization, were in fact extraterrestrial refugees relocated to Earth due to the Draconian control of their home world. 

Goode elaborated about this in his March 27 interview:

Many, many, many times on Earth in our history, refugees have been brought from other planetary systems to stay here and live here. And they’ve lived here for many generations at times. That was the Mayans. But the Olmecs, when there was a major issue going on in their star system, many of them were brought here as refugees to survive here and wait out the issues there. Then they were brought back. 

In past interviews, Goode has described his interactions with “Mica”, the representative of the Olmec group, who had previously played Goode’s role as the Sphere Being Alliance representative for his civilization.

According to Goode, neighboring star systems have experienced similar histories to our own in terms of corrupt global elites secretly allied with a group of extraterrestrials described as Draconian Reptilians. In these adjacent star systems, the Sphere Being Alliance appeared and choose a single individual to be their delegate/spokesperson in the subsequent negotiations and struggle to rid the planet of the corrupt elite control systems that plagued these worlds.

In this regard, Goode said:

Each of them have either been in contact with the Blue Avians or the Triangle-Head being and gone through a similar thing that I have in their planetary system. 

Apparently, in all these worlds, the function of the Sphere Being Alliance delegate/witness was to relay what was being observed to the rest of the population. This was a critical aspect in the awakening of each planetary population, and gaining freedom from their corrupt elites and Reptilian overlords.

Goode explained:

Well, we were told that we were witnesses, that we were the conduits for each of our collective consciousnesses, that each of our groups was a collective consciousness on our planetary systems that we were on, like here on Earth. The information I was receiving, what I was witnessing, was on behalf of the collective consciousness here in this Solar System. 

At this Saturn meeting, Goode says he was chosen once again to play the spokesperson for the Sphere Being Alliance members before the assembled delegates. The three Blue Avians and Golden Triangle beings that were present said they would be leaving our physical reality and would be replaced by another two members of the Sphere Being Alliance, as Goode had previously announced in 2017.

All present at the Saturn meeting were subsequently introduced by Goode to the new Sphere Being Alliance members who “began to give us some cosmic ground rules for going forward.”

They would be responsible for assisting humanity in an unprecedented era where it would not be dominated by competing extraterrestrial groups. Essentially, humanity would be fully informed about the truth of their global situation, and would then be able to determine its future free of corrupt elites and extraterrestrial interference.

Of particular interest was the appearance of a group of entities called the “Sentinels” at the Saturn meeting, who are custodians of still functional Ancient Builder Race technologies that are up to two billion years old. Up to approximately 500,000 years ago, according to Goode. Builder Race technologies were used to establish a very powerful protective grid around our local cluster of 53 solar systems (52 + Sol), to keep out aggressive extraterrestrial races until it was destroyed in an internal Solar System wide war.

The Sentinels communicated with the Sphere Being Alliance in a spectacular light show that all participants witnessed. This was very significant since it suggested that the Sentinels would continue their present role, thereby ensuring that Builder Race technologies that continue to operate would only be accessed by individuals whose ethical standards and behavior meet with the high expectations set by the Sphere Being Alliance.

Goode has previously described how “Gonzales”, a U.S. Navy Lt Commander, had been turned away by the Sentinels when he approached one of the functional Builder Race installations. The Sentinel told Gonzales that he lacked humility, and a request was subsequently made for Goode to make the same trip later to learn about the installation.

Builder Race technology is particularly relevant to nations with military run secret space programs, such as the U.S. Navy’s  Solar Warden, wishing to extend contemporary military concepts such as “full spectrum dominance” into outer space battlefields. It is doubtful that the Sentinels would allow Builder Race technologies to be used in this way for the military benefit of a single nation or planet.

Goode was told that a new, and  more representative, Super Federation would be assembled. Then the newly liberated and now awakened humanity would interact on a more equal basis with the different extraterrestrial groups, and would be joined by representatives from the nearby 52 star systems.

Goode also said that at the December 16 Super Federation meeting had a representative from the “Council of 200” (a corrupt elite control group) seated as the head of the Earth delegation. Presumably, our newly awakened humanity will at some point choose a more representative individual as humanity’s spokesperson for Galactic affairs.

It will be very interesting to see what process is adopted by our planet’s seven billion inhabitants and/or their political representatives to choose one or more delegates to a newly reconstituted Super Federation. I highly doubt the global populace will accept major nations simply choosing a representative similar to how the United Nations Secretary General is appointed without any kind of grass roots participation.

In addition, the Inner Earth beings will be represented in this expanded Super Federation, presumably opening the door for them to further interact with surface humanity, and publicly reveal themselves in the near future.

As to when all these stunning changes are going to be publicly revealed, Goode has discussed an upcoming series of solar flash events that will act as the trigger for full disclosure and humanity’s awakening.

WE COULD ALL BE PETS IN AN ELABORATE ALIEN ZOO, CLAIMS NEIL DEGRASSE TYSON

Planet Earth could be an elaborate zoo created by a hyper-intelligent alien civilisation, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has claimed. And such aliens, he added, might even be inflicting “weird politics” on us as a form of entertainment.

Tyson, who was among the guests at the Starmus conference in Tenerife, Spain, said he remained pessimistic about humanity making contact with intelligent alien life, arguing our relative lack of intelligence could either be bad news for discovery or allow us to exist in blissful ignorance.

“I fear the day we come upon a species such as that. Maybe I don’t fear it, I just hope that all they would do for us is create a zoo where we are happy. And maybe that is what they call Earth.”

Tyson was in part responding to statements made by Stephen Hawking in July last year. At the time Hawking said the discovery of alien life could destroy humanity but we should keep searching for it anyway.

But Tyson said the likelihood of that happening were low. “A sufficiently intelligent civilisation would have positively no interest in us at all,” he said. “In the same way as when you’re walking down a street and there’s a worm there.”. And even if you wanted to kill all the worms, he continued, you’d soon get bored and do something else.

“Maybe our biggest protection against being killed by alien civilisations is their conclusion there’s no intelligent civilisation on Earth,” Tyson continued. “Suppose in fact intelligence has come to the galaxy. Who are we to then decide that we are intelligent? We define our intelligence. Of course we’re intelligent because we define it.” he said.

“The microbes in our lower gut would think of humans as dark, anaerobic pockets of faecal matter in the service of their life. That’s the purpose of human life to them.”

Tyson also argued the tiny genetic difference between a human and a chimp made it likely alien intelligence, if it does exist, is already way beyond our on. “We would not be able to comprehend their simplest of thoughts any more than a chimp can understand ‘Let’s go have dinner at the buffet later I’m going to have some carbohydrates and protein because I’m on a low fat diet’. What would that sentence mean to a chimp?” he joked. To a hyper-intelligent alien race, Tyson continued, Stephen Hawking’s intelligence might be the equivalent of an alien toddler.

He also had a word of warning for those that would have humanity become an interplanetary species. “Yes, being a multi-planet species I think that looks good on paper. Put your eggs in more than one basket. If one basket gets smashed the species is preserved. In practice it is completely unrealistic. Let’s terraform Mars, turn Mars into an Earth-haven, ship four billion people there,” he said.

“Are we really going to do that?” It would be far cheaper and easier, he added, to work out how to deflect the asteroid or defeat the pandemic that could spell our early demise. “It plays well as a news headline,” he continued. “I want the solar system to be our backyard, but the motivation should not be to stop everyone dying from a cosmic event.”

Tyson isn’t the only one making bold claims about the reality of life on Earth. Earlier this month Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk said there was only a “one in a billion” chance we weren’t living in a simulation. His proof? Advancements in gaming since Pong was released in 1972.

“Now, forty years later, we have photo-realistic, 3D simulations with millions of people playing simultaneously and it’s getting better every year. Soon we’ll have virtual reality, augmented reality,” said Musk.

With UFO reports and sightings continuing to mount, one must wonder what reason Aliens would have to visit earth. There are plenty of theories out there, so I want to collect them all here as well as give my opinion on the subject. Read through all the theories and be sure to comment on which one you think makes the most sense. If you have something in mind not mentioned here be sure to let me know.

 

1. Simple Curiosity

The easiest to understand and most logical reason why aliens would visit earth is simple curiosity. We humans have spent countless hours out in the wild exploring our planet - observing, hunting, photographing, and cataloging its species. It’s not hard to imagine that alien visitors are doing the same. Curiosity seems to be innate to every living creature, the dog sniffing around wondering what’s in your hand, the deer scouting your back yard, etc. Perhaps these extraterrestrials are on a quest to explore the universe and catalog its inhabitants. Now there are good and bad sides to this proposition, just like some who go out in search of elephants and zebras are peaceful and simply want to carefully watch from a distance, others are hunters intent on bringing down the animal and mounting it as a trophy. The one positive we have as humans is that it seems we would be rather easy prey for a hunter, especially a race of aliens with such technological advancements as space travel. We would be equal to hunting ants, which doesn’t sound very appealing.

2. Claiming the Planet

Now there are a couple theories under the umbrella of what I will call “claiming the planet”. One is that it was their original home and they want it back. To me this one is a little far out there, but I have seen this theory online. Basically those who propose this idea tend to also believe the hollow earth theory, and that at the center of the earth lives all sorts of races. Included among them are the reptilians. In short, alien visitors are scoping us out for an upcoming battle to take back their rightful home land. 

In the 2013 Superman movie Man of Steel, Kryptonian's have run out of resources and need to flee from their planet to ensure survival. Clark Kent, one of the last of an extinguished race disguised as an unremarkable human, is forced to reveal his identity when Earth is invaded by an army of survivors who threaten to bring the planet to the brink of destruction.

Another theory is that they need a new home. In this scenario our alien visitors are searching out a new place to live because their old planet just doesn’t cut it anymore. It may be a lack of resources (see below) or they have devastated their own planet and need a new one, which ties into the hippie theory that they want to prevent us from doing the same. Others have suggested that they are fighting with an enemy species that calls earth home. 

The Hippie Theory: To save us from Ourselves. Some UFO researchers out there see aliens as benevolent creatures out to save the universe from harm. For Earth, as we race towards Nuclear Armageddon, space people hope to prevent us from reaching a catastrophic end. They seem to have a non-interventionist strategy apparently, since we have no concrete evidence of Alien visitation. This is a popular theme of movies like Arrival, and some books. To me this is nonsense. It’s the hippy spiritual outlook, from the same people who are sitting in the middle of a field chanting and trying to summon star beings. Yes, this really happens. 

3. They Need Food

If other planets are dry, barren, and desert like, or cold and icy then chances are that very few animals or plants could survive those conditions, which would make food supply scarce. Perhaps that’s why aliens are so darn skinny. Now that is a bit of a joke, but seriously - evolution would no doubt adapt alien physiology to require a smaller caloric intake, but still any living being will still require sustenance. If Aliens really are in search of food, the question becomes does earth even offer the food that aliens would want? Assuming that their biology would process the same components that we do – protein, fats, and carbohydrates - the earth has plenty to offer. It’s doubtful that we are being hunted as food, but the possibility exists. As I mentioned earlier, humans hunt animals as they catalog species, so an alien race might do the same thing.

4. Water

There are plenty of UFO sightings near and around water. This makes it easy to guess that aliens want our water… and again it looks like a lot of those planets they may come from are pretty dry. I can’t imagine a scenario where a biological entity could completely evolve beyond the need for water, so if you are short on supply and NEED water, it makes sense that you are going to look for it.  Obviously, Earth has a huge supply of it being made up of approximately 70% H2O. Remote viewer Ingo Swan, a member of the top secret Stargate Program, claimed to have witnessed a UFO near water. He described his sighting in his book Penetration:

Dawn arrived, and Swann saw a fog developing over the lake. This went on for five minutes, until the fog developed a luminous neon-blue color. Then, according to Swann, the color changed to an “angry purple” Axelrod and one of the twins each placed a hand firmly on Swann’s shoulders while “a network of purple, red, and yellow lightning bolts shot in all crazy directions through the ‘cloud.’ Swann said he would have jumped if the two had not held him down. He saw an object, almost transparent at first, but then “solidly visible over the lake.” It was triangular or diamond-shaped, growing in size.”

Swann, in terror and amazement, heard a strong wind moving past, rustling the pine trees so much that some cones and branches fell on them.  The object then began to shoot out ‘ruby red laster-like beams’ as it continued to grow even more in size while maintaining its position on the lake. Very quietly, one of the twins said, ‘Shit! They’re enveloping the area. They’re going to spot us.”

As Swann later recalled the event, some of the red laser beams from the object were ‘blasting’ pine trees, and he could hear low frequency pulsations. Axelrod whispered to Swann that the beams were probably honing in on deer or other forest creatures, as they sense biological body heat. ‘They’re sure to hone in on us,’ he told Swann. Just then, one of the twins literally lifted and dragged Swann away, but not before Swann noticed the water of the lake surging upward, ‘like a waterfall going upward, as if being sucked into the ‘machine.'” 

The four ran quickly and at great length, sustaining minor cuts and bruises. Eventually they stopped, breathing hard, and waited for more than thirty minutes, until one of the twins said all was clear.”

Now the skeptic is going to say if alien explorers have the technology to travel light years away, you would think they have an invention that can condense air into water. I mean we can do that here on planet Earth already. (For a little bit more on that kind of stuff read Magnus Marrissink’s article on Weather Control) I think it’s more likely our celestial visitors are being seen around water for another reason:

5. Toxic and Hazardous Waste Dumping

In economics, there is a term called rent seeking. It basically means to increase ones own wealth by limiting access to that which is lucrative. In college, I wrote a paper arguing that the developed world practiced a form of rent seeking by passing its problems onto the third world so that they are restrained from advancing. So an alien presence could do such a thing by waste dumping, or polluting, our planet as a way of forcing Earth to need the resources they have brought. So if this is the case, aliens may be a form of space pirates traveling the galaxy, dumping their toxic trash on foreign planets and preserving their own planet, while trading their interstellar goods for other useful items. 

6. Biological Material: DNA Collection, Science Experiments, and Cross Breeding

Humans have truly pushed the boundaries in science, and we are capable of engineering humanity itself. The Nazis first delved into eugenics, and now today we do the same under other guises. We take fetal tissue and repurpose it, extract cartilage and all sort of other nutrients from one source and infuse it into our food supply and other places. Degenerative joints are treated with stem cells …. athletes receive platelet rich plasma injections. Eggs are plucked from ovaries and stored next to sperm for future use. So why wouldn’t that material hold value to an alien species? Is it all that difficult to imagine a scenario where aliens would attempt to cross breed with a human? We have done the same with lions and tigers in creating the liger. The problem with the liger is that it's parents, the lion and tiger, though closely related are far enough apart in terms of genetics that any offspring are sterile. From PBS: 

 Lions and tigers are two different species. They look different, they have different lifestyles, they vocalize differently, and they generally live on different continents. Yet when they are brought together artificially, they can interbreed. Such hybrids are called tions and ligers. 

Do they challenge the definition of species? Not really. The key words are "interbreed successfully"; tigons and ligers generally are sterile and short-lived -- an evolutionary dead end. 

If species exist, why? And what maintains them over time? Biologists are still wrestling with these questions, which some call the "species problem" or the "species crisis." 

Biologist Ernst Mayr sees the species as a small gene pool protected from too much variability by a reproductive barrier. In other words, the species is a population adapted to a certain niche, and if the members of different species could interbreed with each other, too much genetic variability would occur, reducing the success of the adaptation. "The basic biological purpose of the species," says Mayr, "is the protection of a harmonious gene pool." To bolster his argument, he points out that hybrids between species are usually less successful and are often sterile. 

This may be the case with a hybrid alien-human creature as well, thus necessitating the constant need for new biological material to produce "children". Humans may share some genetic similarity with our Alien Visitors, or may even have been engineered at some point if you believe the Ancient Alien theories or have studied topics such as bloodlines of the Annunaki.  

Obviously we get into some dark subject matter here, but if you dare to search out the stories of alien abduction, babies implanted and then stolen from wombs, human experimentation in the deepest parts of the Dulce Base….the idea of aliens looking for biological material becomes a lot easier to believe, and a lot more scary. Perhaps such an experiment is taking place on a cosmic level, with a cross bred race serving as workers and slaves to a master race. Since they can’t reproduce, the need for biological material would never end. Are these sightings a search team looking for targets specimens?  

7. Material Resources

This I find to be the most plausible reason we would be visited. We are exploring our solar system and excite over the possibility of harvesting minerals from other planets. A NASA supported scientist, chemical engineer Ken Debelak of Vanderbilt University, is learning how to use carbon dioxide (the main gas in Mars' atmosphere) to harvest rocket fuel and water from the red planet. Among the other resources present inside martian rocks and soil lies a bounty of useful elements: magnesium and hydrogen for rocket fuel, oxygen to breathe, water to drink.

8. Gold and Minerals

Perhaps there is something to the idea that UFO's were in search of gold in ancient times. Gold is inert and doesn't react with other substances, it is an excellent conductor of electricity, and reflects infrared energy. According to Derrick Pitts, Chief Astronomer and Planetarium Director for the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, "you can use gold blankets to protect spacecraft against the intense heat of a star or any sort of heat source." It helps that gold can be hammered into extremely thin sheets: one ounce of gold can be beaten out to 300 square feet. That would allow a space craft to receive its many benefits without the burden of significant weight. 

 

We all know about ancient astronaut theory, the pyramids, and the connection to gold, but how about mercury?

 

Now on the flip side of things, minerals that are valuable here on earth may not serve any purpose on an alien planet. What ever the reason Aliens may be visiting us, it is a scary proposition. While some of the more far out theories like biological material theft may one day prove true, the skeptic in me says it has to be a simper answer: That's why I am sticking to the idea that UFO's, if real, are dumping their trash here and picking up some valuable mineral resources to take home.

US Scientists Are Being Criticised Over Their Treatment of Ata The "Alien" Mummy

She was someone's daughter.

It looks like an alien, but its story is much stranger. And now it's causing an international incident.

Chilean scientists and government officials are protesting a study published in the journal Genome Research on March 22.

It's not the study's conclusions or science they take issue with, though. It's the study's subject: the body of a mummified Chilean girl.

Alien enthusiasts are pretty obsessed with Ata, a 6-inch-long skeleton that was discovered in 2003.

Oscar Munoz found the tiny mummy in a leather pouch in a Chilean ghost town near the Atacama Desert (hence its name), and soon after, rumors began swirling as to Ata's origin.

See, the Chilean mummy looked human-ish, but it also looked, well, kind of not.

Ata had a conical head shape and large eye sockets that looked straight out of a sci-fi film.

The mummy was barely the length of a 19-week-old human fetus, but had bones as mature as those of a six-year-old. It also had hard teeth and only 10 pairs of ribs while humans have 12.

Cue the alien hunter hype.

Eventually, the Chilean mummy landed in the private collection of a Spanish businessman.

In 2012, he gave Steven Greer, a doctor and founder of the Center for the Study of Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (CSETI), permission to analyze it.

Greer, in turn, gave Garry Nolan, an immunologist at Stanford University, samplesof Ata's bone marrow and other genetic material.

In 2013, Nolan dashed the hopes of alien hunters everywhere by concluding that Ata was fully human.

"There's no doubt about it," he told Science Magazine at the time.

Case closed, right? Not so much.

This week, Nolan and his team published new research about the Chilean mummy in the journal Genome Research. In it, the researchers provide an explanation for Ata's alien-like appearance: seven different genetic mutations.

"Once we understood that it was human, the next step was to understand how something could come to look like this," Nolan told National Geographic.

Chile strongly disagrees. The next step should have been returning Ata to her country of origin.

Once Nolan published his findings in 2013, Ata was no longer an "it" but a "she," and as such, the tiny mummy should have received all the protections given to the remains of any other human.

On March 25, Cristina Dorado, a biologist at Chile's University of Antofagasta, published a commentary in Etilmercurio citing a number of legal and ethical issues with Nolan's latest work.

She wrote that, while the study did have scientific value, it failed to consider the legal and ethical implications of studying a human body.

Furthermore, the researchers themselves concluded that Ata, whom Dorado calls "the girl from La Noria", was likely born just 40 years ago, meaning her parents could still be alive.

Dorado called upon Genome Research to retract the article, but that doesn't seem likely.

The journal's editor, Hilary Sussman, told The New York Times the publication "will return to [the issue of studying DNA from ancient human remains] in future issues of the journal".

In other words, it's not happening right now.

Still, as Dorado notes, this is far from the first example of the "plunder and sale of mummified bodies".

Genome Research might not retract the article on Ata, but perhaps the controversy surrounding the study will give other scientists pause before they move forward with research on human remains.

As you may have seen, I recently wrote an article on Truman Bethurum’s controversial, alleged encounters in the early 1950s with a hot babe from another world. Her name: Aura Rhanes. I suggested in the article that Bethurum’s encounters may have been caused by hypnagogia. Of this particular phenomenon, healthline.com state: “If you think you’re seeing — or smelling, hearing, tasting, or feeling — things when you’re asleep, you may not be dreaming. It’s possible you’re experiencing hypnagogic hallucinations. These can occur in the consciousness state between waking and sleeping.” It’s a fact that a lack of sleep – and disturbed sleep patterns, such as shift-work – can provoke vivid hypnagogic states. A good argument can be made that Truman Bethurum’s experiences occurred when he was in just such a state.

There are other cases which may be explainable by hypnagogia. One of them occurred back in 1947 and is recorded in now-declassified FBI files (which can be accessed at the UFO section of the FBI’s website, The Vault). It was in the second week of July 1949 that an intriguing story caught the attention of the FBI. The story was given to the Bureau by a broadcaster and journalist, Walter Winchell. He told the FBI that he had received a UFO-themed letter from a “Mr. Jones” of Los Angeles, California. According to Jones, the encounter had occurred two years earlier, in 1947. Why Jones waited so long to tell his story, we don’t know. But, let’s see what the FBI had to say about this particular case of the flying saucer kind.

The now-declassified documentation states: “In this letter, Jones stated that in August of 1947 he left Los Angeles for the mountains and started hiking through the mountains. About 10:00 a.m. he was laying on the ground when he observed about one-half block away from him a large, silver, metal object, greenish in color, shaped like a child’s top and about the size of the balloons used at Country Fairs.”

The FBI added: “[Jones] stated that there appeared to be two windows in the object and portions of metal appeared transparent and that he gained the impression that there was some life within this object although he saw no persons. The object appeared as though sealed as a pressure chamber. He stood up and waved toward this object and this so-called flying saucer was off the ground in a second, knocking Jones to the ground. In its flight he stated that its power was silent and he raised the question as to whether this was an inter-global landing on our planet. He thought that it might be a device to land on our planet because the occupants of another planet had become curious as to the reaction caused by the atomic bomb causing trouble in an expanding universe. He asked the question as to whether it was possible that the occupants of another planet might have solved the theory of negative energy.”

This is all very interesting, as much of what Jones had to say – about issues concerning “the reaction caused by the atomic bomb” – mirrored what many of the UFO “Contactees” began to talk about from the early 1950s onward. It should be noted, though, that by Jones’ admission, when he encountered the UFO he was “laying on the ground,” and specifically after taking a hike. In light of that, it’s highly possible that Jones, after a long trek, had fallen asleep and entered a graphic, hypnagogic state. Now, let’s move onto a famous case from the 1960s.

It was in the early hours of December 3, 1967 that a police-officer named Herbert Schirmer had an extraordinary encounter at Ashland, Nebraska. While on patrol, Schirmer came across what, at first, he thought was a broken-down truck at the edge of the road. It was not. What Schirmer saw – when his headlights lit up the object – was an egg-shaped craft floating a couple of meters above the ground and giving off a red glow.

There followed a face-to-face encounter with a trio of human-like entities that were around five-feet in height, maybe slightly smaller. Schirmer was quickly taken on-board – although not by force. Indeed, he was invited to take a tour of the craft from another world. There was also the matter of what has become known in Ufology as “missing time.” According to Schirmer, although he believed he was only in the vehicle for around ten minutes, when he later checked he realized that around an hour of time couldn’t be accounted for.

It sounds like a classic UFO encounter. And, maybe, that’s exactly what it was. On the other hand, there is the not insignificant fact that by his own admission Schirmer often had sleep disturbances, as do many people who work shifts – as Schirmer did. In the early hours and just before dropping off to sleep Schirmer would hear strange noises – and on more than a few occasions. On other occasions he even found he had his hands around his wife’s throat. Thankfully, no harm was done. Sleep disturbances, strange sounds, working irregular hours, and even extreme and violent activity are all part of hypnagogia – which can affect people to significantly varying degrees.

Now, I should stress that I don’t think hypnagogia is the cause of all close encounters. To even try and claim such a thing would be ridiculous. And, it would be unwarranted, too. But, where there is a clear and specific connection to a sleep-related condition that can provoke vivid imagery, and even voices, I think we would do well to focus far more on the mysteries of the mind, and far less on the mysteries of outer space.

“We are researchers at Johns Hopkins University working on a research study regarding the experiences of people who have had encounters with seemingly autonomous beings or entities after taking DMT.”

Kids, don’t try this at home (DMT is illegal in most countries), but if you already have seen aliens while on DMT, researchers at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine led by Roland Griffiths, Ph.D. would like for you to fill out an anonymous survey on your experiences and visions. You must be at least 18 years old, fluent in English and have taken a “breakthrough” dose of N,N-DMT before the alien experience.

“During your encounter, was there any communication (e.g., a one-way or two-way exchange of information) between you and the being or entity?”

DMT or N,N-DMT is N,N-Dimethyltryptamine, the tryptamine molecule often consumed as a psychedelic drug in ayahuasca, particularly in Amazon cultures, and sometimes referred to as the ‘spirit molecule’ because of the mystical experiences and dramatic hallucinations it causes. During the 1960s it was called the “businessman’s trip” because, when smoked or injected, the hallucinations arrive almost immediately and lasted just a short time – 5 to 15 minutes. That’s not the case when it is consumed in an ayahuasca beverage prepared by a South American shaman. Growing in popularity, these experiences can last up to 6 hours and the intense physical trauma (tremors, diarrhea, hyperthermia, sweating, muscle spasms) are considered to be a small price to pay for them. It’s this type of experience that most likely generates the alien visions Dr. Griffiths is looking for.

“Did the being or entity seem to have an emotional response to it’s encounter with the you (this could include being consciously unemotional or unreactive)?”

Stories of encounters with beings or entities while under the influence of DMT are not uncommon. A 2012 article in Psychology Today reveals that Rick Strassman, a leading expert on hallucinogenic substances and the coiner of the term “spirit molecule,” found that about half of the 60 volunteers who took DMT in one of his studies in the early 1990s entered “freestanding, independent levels of existence” that were inhabited by what volunteers described as intelligent “beings”, “entities”, “aliens”, “guides”, and “helpers” that appeared as “clowns, reptiles, mantises, bees, spiders, cacti, and stick figures.” According to the article, seeing beings and entities of these types seems to be unique to DMT — Strassman was unable to find anything similar in research reports on other psychedelic drugs.

“Did you ascertain a message, task, mission, purpose, or insight from your encounter with the being or entity (this could have been directly imparted to you or attained through your understanding of the nature of the being, etc.)?”

The questionnaire is extensive and obviously focused on determining if there is a link between DMT and actual alien encounters or the illusion of them.

Here are some other questions asked:

Did you acquire any predictions about the future through your encounter with the being or entity?
Do you think that the being or entity continued to exist after your encounter?
Was the being or entity all-knowing?
How clear are your memories of the experience?
Overall, from your current perspective, which of the following best describes where you think the entity existed?
Do you believe that the experience and your contemplation of that experience has altered your fundamental conception of reality?

THE MOST SHOCKING EVIDENCE THAT EARTH WAS VISITED BY ANCIENT ALIENS

The very words give me the chills: ancient aliens. In the early 1970s, when Erich von Däniken first released Chariots of the Gods, he called them “ancient astronauts”—a name that’s equally creepy. The Apollo missions were still going on, and the image of astronauts was fresh in everyone’s minds. Could ancient alien beings have arrived on Earth in the distant past? Would they have worn spacesuits, like our own astronauts?

If they truly visited our planet in millennia past: why were they here? What did the aliens do while they were on Earth?

Researchers have spent a lot of time looking into the question of whether we were visited so many millennia ago. The popular television show Ancient Aliens, although well-intentioned, has muddied the water in their search of show material—did we really need an episode asking whether aliens interfered with the American Civil War? (C’mon, guys. You’re off the reservation.)

Although we may not be ever know for sure that we had extraterrestrial visitors thousands of years in the past, perhaps if they did come, they might have left us modern people some clues. Let’s take a look at some of the most clear—and startling—evidence for the existence of ancient aliens on Earth.

ANCIENT ALIENS VISIT THE DOGON TRIBE?

African Tribe Possessed Knowledge Science Had Yet to Discover

The Dogon tribe and the Sirius Mystery are amazing enough that we’ve covered them elsewhere.

This African tribe (whose name is pronounced “DOE-gone”) has known all sorts of specifics about the star Sirius for thousands of years, passed down from holy man to holy man. We’re talking details here, like how Sirius has a companion star (“Sirius B”), and that it circles the main star (“Sirius A”) every 50 years. Here’s the thing: it is absolutely true—but modern scientists didn’t know these things about Sirius until the middle of the 19th century. The Dogon knew a thousand years ago. Heck, the Dogon also knew that Sirius has a second companion star, and scientists didn’t discover it (“Sirius C”) until the 1990s.

How did the Dogon get this scientific information about Sirius B? If you ask them, they’ll tell you that the tribe was visited by the Nommos, an amphibian-like race that came from the Sirius star system in a noisy “ark” that spun and whipped up wind while it landed. It was the Nommos, a race of ancient aliens, who told the Dogon about their homeworld and its star cluster.

Knee-jerk skeptics like to invent reasons why all this can’t be true. Westerners must have stopped by and told them about Sirius, one denier said. There’s no way, though: the Dogon have artifacts that are thousands of years old, depicting Sirius and its companions. No one should have known this stuff that long ago, but the Dogon did.

This short video does a good job explaining the ancient Dogon knowledge. (I have no idea why the narrator pronounces Sirius as “SIGH-ree-us”, but we can give him a pass on that.)

Holy Scriptures Contain Account of Alien Contact?

Ask Erich von Däniken, the guy who pioneered the search for ancient aliens, and he’ll tell you his favorite evidence is in the Old Testament. It’s the story of Ezekiel and his bizarre encounter with UFOs.

Ezekiel was a prophet living in exile with the rest of the Hebrews in the land they called Babylon. Being a prophet was a highfalutin job back then, but Ezekiel’s life got even stranger—stranger than just being a guy who received special messages from the creator of the universe.

I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was human, but each of them had four faces and four wings.

Ezekiel 1:1-6

Some people read this and think: the dude was taking drugs. Others (knee-jerk skeptics) say: oh, it’s just more Biblical mumbo-jumbo. Devout people may say that Ezekiel saw angels.

Maybe.

What if this was Ezekiel actually saw something, and he didn’t know what it was, or how to explain it? If he actually encountered ancient aliens, how would he describe them? We think he’d probably describe them just like he did.

Next Ezekiel describes the machine that the being had arrived in, the machine that landed in a rush of wind.

Ezekiel confronts the great wheels withinwheels. Did he meet ancient aliens?

I saw a wheel on the ground beside each creature with its four faces. This was the appearance and structure of the wheels: They sparkled like topaz … each appeared to be made like a wheel intersecting a wheel. As they moved, they would go in any one of the four directions the creatures faced; the wheels did not change direction as the creatures went.

Ezekiel 1:15-19

Doesn’t that sound like a spacecraft to you? Why would a man living 500 years B.C. write a description that sounds so much like the landing and maneuvering of an alien ship? Surely this was not just random. Remember: Ezekiel was devoutly religious, and he would interpret amazing events as signs from God. If beings appeared, he would assume they were angels. But perhaps they were ancient aliens.

What about their technology? Ezekiel’s description was of an alien craft with advanced maneuverability.

This story of the machine that had wheels-within-wheels impressed NASA engineer Joe Blumrich a lot. A wheel that could move in any direction without having to turn—that sounded like something a planetary exploration vehicle could use. He went on to invent a wheel based on Ezekiel’s description, and called it the “omni wheel.” Joe received a US patent for it in 1972. Today, omni wheels are routinely used in robot vehicles. Blumrich also wrote a popular book, The Spaceships of Ezekiel, in which he explained that after starting out intending to disprove the idea, he’d become convinced that Ezekiel truly had been writing about an encounter with ancient aliens.

World’s Oldest Civilization Leaves Record of Alien Contact

The ancient Sumerians lived 5,000 years ago in what’s now the country of Iraq. They left behind humankind’s first writings, books older than the Bible and the Hindu Vedas.

The Sumerians wrote a lot about the Anunnaki, whose name means “those who came from the skies to Earth”. Modern scholars have assumed that the stories of the Annunaki were just myths about Sumerian gods—but the stories themselves sound more like tales of ancient aliens.

In the writings, the Annunaki came to Earth from a lost planet in our solar system—one with such a wide orbit that it rarely approaches us. They called the planet Nibiru.

The leaders of the ancient aliens were named Enki and Enlil. They were here for gold, a mineral they needed but did not have enough of. Mines were set up there in Sumer, but also in Africa as well. Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa, a Zulu elder and author of Zulu Shaman: Dreams, Prophecies, and Mysteries, says that ancient tribal traditions speak of “visitors from the stars” who mined for gold.

After mining for some time, the Anunnaki realized that the local humanoids—Homo Erectus, our ancestors—might make useful slaves if they could make them smarter. After improving the proto-humans, presumably with DNA modification, they managed to create a hybrid race: part Anunnaki, part early human. These new beings, called the Adamu, were the first real humans. They were also the new slaves who would work in the gold mines.

Our hybrid ancestors didn’t stand for this situation for long, though, probably because these newly created beings were far too smart. Who wants to be a slave? They eventually rose up and rebelled, and eventually, a new Adamu society formed, one which maintained an uneasy truce with the Anunnaki.

The Sumerians recorded this history after first inventing writing. They also made engravings and art of the Anunnaki along with knowledge they had received from them—for instance, an ancient Sumerian seal depicts the Sumerian “gods” along with an accurate representation of our solar system, with 11 planets. The planets have correct proportions (Jupiter is the largest, then Saturn, and so on), and the depiction also includes the asteroid belt. Remember that modern science only discovered Uranus and Neptune in the past 150 years, and that scientists are only now saying that there is gravitational evidence for a “lost” planet with a weird, oblong orbit. Are there truly 11 planets? It may be so.

Sumerian artwork always depicts members of the Anunnaki as having wings. Did they actually have wings? It seems unlikely—many researchers believe the wings are meant to show that the Anunnaki had the ability to fly, as in ships. Other strange and telling things appear in the artwork: the goddess Ishtar’s symbol, which stood for the concept of “life”, bears a striking resemblance to the entwined double helix of DNA. Could that be more than a coincidence?

We’ve been kind of critical of the show Ancient Aliens, but this segment from an early episode explains all this pretty well (below). We also very much like this documentary about the Anunnaki and the planet Nibiru.

ANCIENT ALIENS FIGHT WARS IN THE SKIES OF ANCIENT INDIA

Hindu Holy Books Called The Vedas Describe Alien Encounters

There is strong evidence that ancient aliens visited other places around the Earth. In India, for example, the ancient holy books known as The Vedas tell of a space war between ships and fought in the skies. The descriptions of the ships are remarkable—translated, it is difficult to imagine that they were describing anything except spacecraft.

The Vedas state that “strong and durable must the body of the Vimana be made, like a great flying bird of light material. Inside one must put the mercury engine with its iron heating apparatus underneath. By means of the power latent in the mercury which sets the driving whirlwind in motion, a man sitting inside may travel a great distance in the sky. The movements of the Vimana are such that it can vertically ascend, vertically descend, move slanting forwards and backwards. With the help of the machines human beings can fly in the air and heavenly beings can come down to earth.”

Spacecraft as described in the ancient Hindu holy books called The Vedas

No, that’s not a spacecraft they’re describing. No way.

“Fifty years of researching this ancient works convinces me that there are living beings on other planets and that they visited Earth as far back as 4,000 BC. There is just a mass of fascinating information about flying machines, even fantastic science fiction weapons that can be found in translations of The Vedas, Indian epics and other ancient Sanskrit text.” That’s Dr. Vijaya Raghavan, speaking; he was head of the Sanskrit department of the University of Madras in India (now retired). His job, if it’s not obvious, was to study The Vedas; his conclusion was that they described real events in which aliens came to Earth.

In other parts of The Vedas, we get a description of something that can only be a nuclear explosion.

“Gurkha flying in his swift and powerful Vimana hurled against the three cities of the Vrishis and Andhakas a single projectile charged with all the power of the Universe. An incandescent column of smoke and fire, as brilliant as ten thousands suns, rose in all its splendor. It was the unknown weapon, the Iron Thunderbolt, a gigantic messenger of death which reduced to ashes the entire race of the Vrishnis and Andhakas.”

So what do we make of that? Just ancient imagination that happens to sound exactly like nuclear devastation? Sure, you deniers and skeptics, sure. You’re probably right. It’s ancient nonsense. Right?

We could go on; there’s a lot of strange evidence on our Earth that is dismissed far too easily by mainstream science. Because the universe is mundane, and it has to be mundane—that is, if you’re a knee-jerk skeptic addicted to the idea that the universe is mundane.

Born just a couple of years before the 20th century began, Truman Bethurum was a man who had problems keeping a regular job. He was also someone who was hardly a success when it came to the matter of marriage. He was married and divorced twice and spent his old age with his third wife. Bethurum also happened to be one of the more well-known of the so-called “Contactees” of the 1950s. Bethurum claimed that while working as a maintenance mechanic on a new stretch of Nevada highway in the early 1950s, he met an über-babe from the stars named Aura Rhanes. She was the captain of the star-ship which descended before Bethurum on Mormon Mesa, in Nevada’s Moapa Valley. The home-planet of the ETs was Clarion, about which Bethurum learned a great deal. And Bethurum didn’t just meet with his space-chick once, but on more than a dozen occasions.

Bethurum’s entertaining experiences increased, as did his relationship with the flirty Captain Rhanes. For a significant period of time, Bethurum and Rhanes had clandestine meetings, usually late at night. They generally occurred in isolated desert locations in Nevada, where, after Rhanes’ huge ship landed, the pair had long and deep conversations about the state of the Earth, the Soviet threat, and the captain’s home world – to which she promised to take Bethurum, one day. While Bethurum did not explicitly say so, there are a few nuggets of data in Bethurum’s collective work that suggest on a couple of occasions the pair might have had just about the closest and most intimate encounters of all. It’s hardly surprising, then, that many UFO researchers outright dismiss Bethurum’s story as a hoax, or as a fantasy born out of Bethurum’s unhappiness with his private life.

I don’t think that Bethurum had real encounters with a genuine, hot, space captain from some faraway world. But, I don’t think it was just a case of Bethurum fantasizing or spinning a significant number of yarns to entertain the UFO enthusiasts of the 1950s. Remember that when Bethurum got that new work contract in Nevada, and he began talking about encounters with aliens (and one alien in particular…), his second marriage was already on the rocks. Clearly, he was looking for something (or, more correctly, someone) new.

It should be noted that a number of Bethurum’s encounters with the curvy captain occurred late at night and while he was out in the desert and just after taking a snooze. This latter point of Bethurum dozing off before Aura appeared is important, because his own words strongly suggest that he was in a hypnagogic state when he encountered the woman-who-probably-never-was. Psychonautwiki note of hypnagogia that it “…is the experience of transitioning from wakefulness to sleep. During this state, one usually experiences visual, auditory or tactile hallucinations, or sleep paralysis…Exceptionally, longer-lasting auditory hallucinations can also be heard, such as music. Some people report hearing very loud noises, like crashes, gunshots or explosions…”

Bethurum’s own words show that just before he woke up, and right before Captain Rhanes put in her appearances, he would often hear words spoken in a kind of “mumbling” fashion. Sometimes he could understand the words, but on other occasions he was unable to figure out what the voices were saying. This issue of strange mumbling is a classic aspect of hypnagogia. It’s worth noting too that Bethurum’s job in Nevada involved shift-work. Sometimes, he worked from the late afternoon/early evening and through to the early hours of the morning (when the Nevada heat was more tolerable than during the height of the day). Disturbed sleep (which Bethurum must have had to at least a certain degree) can make hypnagogia worse. Or, from Bethurum’s perspective, much better! On this matter of disturbed sleep, Mental Health Daily state: “Those that work night shifts or have an inconsistent sleep schedule may be more prone to hypnagogic hallucinations prior to bed.”

Although over the years I have admittedly swung back and forth on the matter of what really happened to Bethurum, I would suggest that, probably, the entire series of encounters occurred while Bethurum was in a hypnagogic state – a state in which Bethurum could have his ideal woman. With one marriage over and another one all but finished, Bethurum’s subconscious conveniently filled in the gaps and gave Bethurum exactly what he wanted. From his perspective, it was a beautiful woman from the stars. But, just like his relationships in the real world, even the one he had with super-hot Aura didn’t last. She finally bid him goodbye, climbed aboard her UFO and headed back to Clarion.

Bethurum’s story of how he almost (or may have..) nailed an extraterrestrial was told in 1954, in the pages of Aboard a Flying Saucer, which is a fine and entertaining romp filled with innuendos and suggestive snippets. But, Bethurum was not done. Other publications surfaced, such as 1957’s The Voice of the Planet Clarion; 1958’s Facing Reality (which, clearly, Bethurum never did), and The People of the Planet Clarion, which was published in 1970, one year after his death.

One of those who helped Bethurum on his 1970 book, The People of the Planet Clarion, was an artist named Columba Krebs. It’s notable that Krebs observed, and stated, that Bethurum had an overwhelming obsession with Rhanes, even years after she dumped him. He longed for her to return. She never did. But, it could be argued that such was Bethurum’s need to still have Aura in his life, he almost managed to achieve that – albeit in a very weird way.

In 1961, Bethurum married for a third time. And it all took place at the annual, California-based Giant Rock Space Convention, which was organized each year by fellow-Contactee, George Van Tassel. Bethurum’s new wife (and final wife, I should stress) was named Alvira Roberts. Maybe it’s all just a coincidence, but I find the name of wife number three to be very intriguing. Both “Aura” and “Alvira” begin with the letter “A.” Both first-names end with an “A” too. “Rhanes” and “Roberts” both begin with “R” and both end with “S.” Bethurum may have been missing Aura Rhanes to such an extent that he chose to marry someone whose name – to a degree – reminded him of the woman who he loved, but who he could never be with – because she never really lived.

Obsession, fantasy, yearning and failure, and all wrapped up in a saga filled with flying saucers and disturbed sleep patterns.

The Betty and Barney Hill Abduction

When I was but a young boy, the only time anyone talked about flying saucers was after watching a movie about them, or seeing an episode of Twilight Zone, or Science Fiction Theater.

Then one morning, I was scanning over our local newspaper, and noticed about three pages deep this heading, “New Hampshire Couple Encounters UFO.”

Well, needless to say, I was intrigued. In our small town paper, you just didn’t see things on this type of subject.

As I began to read the article, I was astounded to see that these two people claimed to have been abducted by aliens, and taken inside the ship!

Well, that was enough for me to think, “What is this, some kind of joke?”

I thought I had heard the last of it, but I had not.

Soon, this story became an international one, and even today, is still considered one of the most believable, and certainly most researched UFO cases, except for maybe the Roswell incident. One thing about this whole subject that seems odd to me, is that it is considered within the realm of possibility that someone could see a UFO, but for someone to be taken aboard one, NO WAY.

In 1961, Barney Hill was a 39 year old black man who worked for the US Postal Service. His wife Betty was a 41 year old white woman, who owned a Master’s Degree, and was the supervisor for the child welfare department. The fact that the Hills were an interracial couple has been given weight by some who state that Barney was suffering stress in dealing with some public ridicule about the black and white union, which was not nearly as readily accepted in the early 1960s as it is today. In my research into Mr. Hill’s life, I can’t find any reason for his stress being the cause of telling such an incredible story. What ensued after the couple went public with their story, was much more stressful to him than any anti-racial remarks he may have encountered.

The story of Betty and Barney Hill begins in September 1961, in the state of New Hampshire. Barney had recently developed an ulcer, and he and his wife Betty decided to take a short vacation to Canada. The couple had visited Niagara Falls, and Montreal, and on the 19th of the month, they began their journey back home to Portsmouth. The night was clear, with a crescent moon shining on the heavily wooded landscape, that surrounded US Route 3 in the central part of New Hampshire. At about a quarter past 10:00 P.M., three miles south of the city of Lancaster, Barney noticed what appeared to be a bright star, or planet which seemed to move erratically. Barney pointed this out to Betty, and they both began to keep track of the object.

The couple began to believe that they were watching a plane, appear and disappear, as the movement of their vehicle caused the trees to come and go in obstructing their view. Later Barney would state that he tried to convince himself that the object was a plane, but that Betty thought it to be something else; an unidentified craft of some kind. As the two continued to the Flume, just north of North Woodstock, the object appeared to move in an odd way. As they reached Indian Head, Barney actually stopped the car to have a look at the object with his binoculars. He saw multicolored lights, and rows of windows on a flat-shaped object, which now seemed to be moving toward him. As the object moved to within a hundred feet of him, he could see occupants inside. Frightened, he ran back to his car where Betty waited. They climbed inside and sped away. Soon, two hours of their lives would vanish into oblivion.

After resuming their journey home, they were not able to see the strange craft anymore. Oddly though, they heard a beeping sound. They then heard the beeping a second time, noticing that they were suddenly thirty-five miles farther down the road than a minute or two ago. They were now in Ashla. The mood in the car was quiet as they proceeded home, and went to bed. They both slept until the next afternoon. When Betty got up, she called her sister Janet, and told her what had happened. Janet told her to call nearby Pease Air Force Base, and report what she had seen. Betty reported the incident, speaking to Major Paul W. Henderson, who told Betty; “The UFO was also confirmed by our radar.” It is important to note at this point that Barney was against calling the sighting in to the base, hoping to keep it quiet.

At this time, neither Betty nor Barney recalled any abduction. Soon, Betty began having nightmarish dreams of her and her husband being taken aboard a craft of some kind, against their will. In a matter of weeks, two writers got wind of the story, and after interviewing the Hills, made an intensive log of the events of the night. They discovered that there were two hours of unaccounted time in the Hill’s story, even allowing for stops for the Hills, and breaks for their dog, who also had made the trip with them.

Another interesting note that I should interject here is that these “two writers,” which are mentioned in almost every report of this incident, (and there are literally thousands of them), have not been named, or I cannot find their names.

However, the story is true, because their interview was attended by Major James MacDonald, a former Air Force Intelligence Officer. Shortly after Betty began having these disturbing dreams, she wrote a letter to Major Donald Kehoe, who passed her information on to one Walter Webb, who was on the staff of the Hayden Planetarium. Webb, at the time, was a scientific advisor for the National Investigations Committee on Arial Phenomena. (commonly referred to as NICAP) What he did with the report is unknown.

It was Major MacDonald who made the suggestion to the Hills that regressive hypnosis might account for the two hours of missing time. In the spring of 1962, the Hills contacted a psychiatrist about the hypnosis sessions, but decided to put it off for a time. All the while, Betty was still haunted by the dreams, and Barney’s ulcer was worse, and he was again suffering from hypertension.

After dodging reporters, and doing some research on psychiatrists, the Hills made a decision to contact well-known Boston psychiatrist and neurologist, Dr. Benjamin Simon, who was one of the most respected doctors in his field.

After a couple of initial interviews, Dr. Simon’s preliminary diagnosis was “anxiety syndrome,” relating to the incidents of the night of September 19, 1961. His next step was to find out what those events were.

The method of treatment that Dr. Simon chose for the Hills was regressive hypnosis, which was meant to get to the source of their problem, whatever that may have been. He began the sessions on Barney, and then followed up with the same treatment for Betty.

The process was slow, but after six months, it was Dr. Simon’s expert opinion that the Hills had been abducted, and taken aboard an unknown flying craft on the night in question.

Anyone who is deeply interested in these sessions, can see transcripts of them in an excellent book on the entire Hill story, “The Interrupted Journey,” written by award-winning investigative author John G. Fuller. The Hills’ story was also included in a two-part article in “Look” magazine, and a movie, “The UFO Incident,” a made-for-TV production. The movie was released in 1976, and starred Estelle Parsons as Betty, and James Earl Jones as Barney.

After the many sessions with Dr. Simon, the following details became evident. The Hills related that their car had stalled, and then the alien craft landed on the road in front of their vehicle, forming a kind of roadblock, hailing them down. They were taken into the craft, and given medical examinations by these aliens, and before being released, were ordered under hypnosis not to recount any of the details of their incident.

The entities were described by the Hills as “…bald-headed alien beings, about five foot tall, with greyish skin, pear shaped heads and slanting cat-like eyes.”– This was the very first mention in UFO folklore of the so-called “greys.” The Hills were taken into separate rooms during their examinations. These “tests” involved both physical and mental procedures.

As part of these tests, skin, hair and nail samples were taken. Betty had a long needle inserted into her navel, and was told it was a pregnancy test. Under duress, Barney related that he had given a semen specimen. Betty stated that she was given a kind of book as a token of her visit, but this item was later taken back.

Another odd fact related under hypnosis was that the aliens seemed to have no conception of time, or of colors, whatever this may mean.

At one point, the aliens seemed surprised to find that Barney’s teeth (dentures) could be removed and replaced. Betty asked one of her abductors where they were from, and in reply, she was shown a star map of sorts, which will be discussed in more detail later.

After these events, the Hills were taken back to their car, and the last thing they remembered was an orange glow disappearing into the night sky. It is very important to note that the Hills tried to keep these events out of the press, but unfortunately, an inaccurate version of the events was leaked to the press, after which, the Hills decided to come forward with the true events of the case.

Dr. Simon was under a great amount of pressure to release whatever information the Hills authorized about their case. This was considered prudent, not to exploit the story, but to stop speculation that the absence of a statement by him would seem to shed a negative light on the Hills’ story. Simon concluded that the Hills were not fabricating their story.

He further stated that he there were several conclusions that could be reached. [1] “The experience actually happened, or, [2] some perceptive and illusory misinterpretations occurred in relationship to some real event.” What the “real event” may be, I do not know.

As the facts of the Hills’ case came to public knowledge, two notable, respectable professionals investigated the story, and made their conclusions. One was Dr. J. Allen Hynek, who was at the time, Professor of Astronomy at Northwestern University, and later to be an Air Force Consultant on Aerial Phenomena.

He eventually would create his own “Center For UFO studies.” The other was Stanton T. Friedman, a nuclear physicist and the nation’s only space scientist devoting full time to researching the UFO phenomenon.

As a consultant to Project Blue Book, Hynek later released the book, “The UFO Experience,” in which he discussed the Hills’ case. I will insert his own words here; “Under repeated hypnosis they independently revealed what had supposedly happened.

The two stories agreed in considerable detail, although neither Betty nor Barney was privy to what the other had said under hypnosis until much later.

Under hypnosis they stated that they had been taken separately aboard the craft, treated well by the occupants – rather as humans might treat experimental animals – and then released after having been given the hypnotic suggestion that they would remember nothing of that particular experience. The method of their release supposedly accounted for the amnesia, which was apparently broken only by counter hypnosis.

Dr. Stanton Friedman spent many long hours with the Hills, discussing the case, and being a nut and bolts man, issued this statement; “By no stretch of the imagination could anyone who knows them conclude that they were nuts,” he emphasizes. The Hills had been interviewed and questioned by others scientists and investigators; some under hypnosis, and all are in agreement on one important fact.

The Hills did NOT make their story up, and the events put forward are based upon some REAL event. Although Barney and Betty were in an interracial marriage, which unfortunately cast an unfavorable shadow on them, we must remember that Betty had a Master’s Degree in social work, and Barney served on the governor of New Hampshire’s Civil Rights Commission.

Both of them were well-respected by those who knew them or worked with them. What benefit they could have gained from such an elaborate hoax I cannot imagine.

Although many so-called abductees have lost their livelihoods because of their stories, the Hills did not, and remained involved in previous activities to the extent that the interruptions of what happened allowed them.

As I mentioned earlier, when Betty was aboard the craft, she stated she was shown a star map, and was asked by one of the humanoids, “Where are you on the map?” to which she shrugged and said, “I don’t know.”

There has been an immense amount of discussion about the so-called “star map,” and a lot of its interpretation is up for grabs. A full understanding of astronomy would be required to study its plotting and try to find its pattern in a specific point in the skies. I am certainly not qualified to undertake this task, but I will tell you what I consider some of the more reasonable explanations by professionals.

The map that Betty says she was shown was a three-dimensional view with different size dots and lines on it.

I vividly recall at the time of this incident, that the fact that scientists could not find any constellation that fit its markings, put much doubt on the Hills claims. However, approximately 8 years thereafter, when more powerful telescopes came into use, several scientists claim to have found a match for this map.

Being intrigued with the mystery of the map, (which Betty drew from hypnosis), an Ohio schoolteacher and amateur astronomer Marjorie Fish became involved in the case in 1969. Wondering if the stars and planets on the map would match any known celestial objects, Fish got an interview with Betty Hill in the summer of 1969.

Barney Hill had died earlier the same year from a cerebral hemorrhage. After a lengthy discussion with Betty, Fish released the following statement:

“On Aug. 4, 1969, Betty Hill discussed the star map with me. Betty explained that she drew the map in 1964 under posthypnotic suggestion. It was to be drawn only if she could remember it accurately, and she was not to pay attention to what she was drawing – which puts it in the realm of automatic drawing.

This is a way of getting at repressed or forgotten material and can result in unusual accuracy. She made two erasures showing her conscious mind took control part of the time.

Betty described the map as three-dimensional, like looking through a window.

The stars were tinted and glowed. The map material was flat and thin (not a model), and there were no noticeable lenticular lines like one of our three-dimensional processes. (It sounds very much like a reflective hologram.)”

Betty did not shift her position while viewing it, so we cannot tell if it would give the same three-dimensional view from all positions or if it would be completely three-dimensional. Betty estimated the map was approximately three feet wide and two feet high with the pattern covering most of the map.

Zeta Reticuli is a binary star system located about 39 light years away from Earth. It is located in the constellation Reticulum, and is visible to the unaided eye under very dark skies. Because of the southerly location of the system, it is not visible north of the tropics.

She was standing about three feet away from it. She said there were many other stars on the map but she only (apparently) was able to specifically recall the prominent ones connected by lines and a small distinctive triangle off to the left.

There was no concentration of stars to indicate the Milky Way (galactic plane) suggesting that if it represented reality, it probably only contained local stars. There were no grid lines.”

Three stars in the clusters were unknown until 1969. No Astronomer on earth knew their position in 1963.

Yet Betty Hill drew a map of these stars in 1963. Before I conclude this article, I must point out that I am not one given to shallow evidence from one webpage or a supermarket tabloid.

I am simply taking the role of reporter here, and offer no opinion of my own. Everything included in this article has been confirmed by many investigators, scientists, psychiatrists, etc. I will leave you this one fact:

Astronomers at Ohio State University had a computer put them in their exact position out beyond the double star system of Zeta Reticuli 1 and Zeta Reticuli 2–220 trillion miles, 37 light years from earth, looking toward our sun. The computer duplicated with virtually no variation, the map of Betty Hill.

The Betty and Barney Hill story is an intriguing one, to say the least.

Everyone privy to it’s details is still in wonderment; still seeking answers. It is very difficult to believe that two sane people who were driving to their home, simultaneously had some illusion.

It is also difficult to believe that two well-liked and respected people would make up this story. To what end?

Certainly, they were not seeking public fame, it was about two years from the time of the incident until the time that the Hills made the facts known.

One important fact we must remember: NOT ONE of any of the professional people who had involvement in the case shed a negative light on the fact that something very unusual occurred that night in New Hampshire, or on the Hills personally.
