Aliens May Be Trapped By the Gravity of Their Own Planets
It’s easy to get disheartened about the utter lack of evidence of the existence of extraterrestrial life. The universe is an unimaginably large place, yet so far it seems like we’re all alone. Of course, it could just be that aliens are too far away or perhaps we’re just looking for the wrong things in the wrong places. Maybe we’re an aberration, or, given the unfathomably long timelines of the cosmos, it could be that civilizations rarely develop in close proximity at the same times. Still, scientists with SETI and other organizations remain optimistic that we’ll discover alien life within the next few decades. There’s never been a better reason to take care of your health.
To add to the list of reasons why we’re so utterly forever alone out here in the terrifyingly empty reaches of space, a German astrophysicist has just published a new theory for why we haven’t found any aliens. According to Michael Hippke, a scientist at the Sonneberg Observatory, one of the most significant challenges facing distant alien races could be their own planets’ immense gravitational pulls. Recent exoplanet discoveries have revealed that so-called “Super-Earths” are fairly common in the habitable zones of their stars. However, as Hippke points out, the immense size of these Super-Earths can create incredibly strong gravitational forces which essentially ‘trap’ aliens on the surface due to the energy requirements needed to escape them.
Hippke toldSpace.com that any advanced alien civilizations on these types of planets might be unable to leave the surface by means of spaceflight, and thus might look for other means of reaching out:
Civilizations from super-Earths are much less likely to explore the stars. Instead, they would be to some extent arrested on their home planet and, for example, make more use of lasers or radio telescopes for interstellar communication instead of sending probes or spaceships.
Hippke says humans are pretty luck to find ourselves on a planet lightweight enough to support spaceflight, but that “other civilizations, if they exist, might not be as lucky.” Still, Hippke concludes his study by theorizing that space elevators or nuclear-powered rockets might be an option for these civilizations. As with all of these studies, I can’t help but wonder if our thinking about aliens is limited by the facts of our own existence.
The limits of our senses and our own technology lead us to think that all other life must ‘work’ the same ways life on Earth does. We think that any potential alien races would only be able to reach space by means of spacecraft, or that they even want to reach space at all, but who knows what hypothetical aliens on other planets might be like? Maybe they want to be left alone. Maybe they can send their consciousnesses through space. Maybe their bodies are spacecraft. The point is, we have no Earthly idea what’s out there, on Super-Earths or any other types of planets.
This Super-Earth, called 55 Cancri e, is nearly twice the size of our home planet. The gravity here would be far larger than on Earth.
On the weekend of April 13-15, I spoke at the annual Ozark Mountain UFO Conference on the subject of the Men in Black. As so often happens at such gigs, people have questions for the speakers. One of the questions put to me went something like this: “Why don’t the aliens intervene and do something for us?” It was a question provoked by my speculation that within a century or so from now we will have well and truly irreversibly fucked up not just ourselves but the planet and everything that shares it with us. Yes, contrary to what some might think, it’s not just our world: there are plenty of other animals that will suffer as a result of our reckless stupidity.
Given that we may well end up wiping ourselves out, it might seem reasonable to think that, at the last moment, the aliens will step in and disable every nuke on the planet and prevent destruction on a worldwide scale (slight shades of 1951’s The Day The Earth Stood Still). Of course, this all assumes that the aliens actually care about us and the many other lifeforms on the planet. There are those who believe that the aliens are indeed our friends and that they are here to keep us on a road that takes us far away from destruction via nuclear war and ecological collapse – and who knows what else? But, is that really the case? Probably not. Although, no doubt, such a scenario may help some get to sleep at night.
Yes, there are indications that our visitors (from wherever) may have concerns for our existence and our extinction. But, those same concerns never really seem to be anything but halfhearted in nature and content. Take, for example, the Space Brothers of the 1950s. Those long-haired hippy types who dropped in to say “Hi, Earthling!” to the likes of George Adamski, George Van Tassel, Truman Bethurum and Orfeo Angelucci, and who warned them of the dangers of the A-bomb, certainly did state that we were on a road to destruction. But, if they really cared, why just share their concerns with a bunch of people in the deserts of California, Nevada, and Arizona? Yes, Adamski’s first book, Flying Saucers Have Landed(co-written with Desmond Leslie) sold well. And, yes, George Van Tassel’s annual gigs at Giant Rock, California attracted audiences in the thousands at their height.
For the most part, though, more than a few of the Contactees languished in obscurity and had to settle for selling a few of their self-published pamphlets, booklets and books to fairly small crowds. And today, many of those Contactees are forgotten and turned to dust. So, what was the point behind the actions of the Space Brothers? If it really was to save us from ourselves, they failed miserably. The reason being that chummy chats with a few people out at Giant Rock is not going to save the planet. Scaring the crap out of a bunch of people in desert locations in the early years of the Cold War achieved nothing – except for creating the image of caring ETs. Which may have been the point all along. And don’t bother me with theories concerning real-life equivalents of Star Trek’s “Prime Directive.”Bringing the likes of something as yawn-inducing and crappy as Star Trek into the equation does nothing but turn matters into a nerd/geek fest.
It’s pretty much the same with the black-eyed, big-headed, emotionless entities known as the Greys. Countless numbers of alien abductees have reported seeing images in their minds of the final days of planet Earth, of worldwide destruction, and of the end of humanity. We’re led to believe that this is because the Greys like us a lot; they’re warning us of what lurks ominously around the corner. They love us and they really want to see us make it. If that’s the case, then why do they not make themselves known to one and all (again, please don’t mention Star Trek…)? Why target a very small handful of the overall human population and encourage them to patiently write books and hit the road and speak at conferences, when doing so achieves absolutely nothing outside of the realm of Ufology?
The fact is that we only have their word that they are our friends (or, at least, that they have a desire for us not to end up as a combined pile of radioactive ash). We even only have their word that they are alien (in the extraterrestrial fashion). Maybe they are actually Mac Tonnies’ Cryptoterrestrials (doubtful, but I guess not completely impossible), John Keel’s Ultraterrestrials(a theory I like a lot), or even time-travelers from our very own future (Flying Saucers but no DeLoreans?).
UFO witnesses, contactees and abductees are all too quick to embrace the aliens, their words of friendliness, and their fears for our future. But, I kind of see it all as something, in a somewhat skewed fashion, that is akin to Stockholm Syndrome. Hanging onto the words of entities that may not be what they appear to be, and whose primary goal seems to be to ensure that we see them as our friends (when they may not be), is not a good thing. The Space-Brothers and the Greys don’t just try to be our friends. They try too hard. Our mysterious visitors do not care; they just try and convince us they do. And, that should be a cause for concern and alarm.
What’s going on in Argentina? This week’s news featured an alleged half-man-half-beast sighting in Totoras and the discovery of a Nazi sub lost in 1945 while on its way to Argentina with what may have been Nazi leaders and their gold. Now a firefighter in Rosario de La Frontera has come forward with a video showing flashing lights that he claims are from an alien spacecraft warning Earth of the dangers of chemical and nuclear weapons. Fighting nukes with flashlights? In Argentina? What strange planet are these aliens from?
“At 9:30 p.m., on Monday (16), we received a call informing us that there were two strange lights on the banks of the Rio Rosario, and we went to the site and had a very strong experience.”
Perfil and other Argentine media sources report that what appears to be the latest of a series of these alleged alien contacts occurred on April 16th in Rosario de La Frontera, a small city (about 24,000 inhabitants) in the northwest province of Salta. In the rough Google translations of the reports, the witness identified as Ezequiel Álvarez, the “head of the volunteer firefighters” in Rosario de La Frontera, records one, then two lights flashing in the darkness that are changing in size, brightness and colors.
“We used to make signs with a flashlight and they answered us.”
So far, this sounds like something that could happen in any public park on a dark night anywhere in the world. That’s when Álvarez ups the ante by making a strange revelation … this is not the first time something like this has happened in his town and he believes Rosario de La Frontera may be the spot selected by an alien species to spread its message to humans.
“What happened in the Rosario River area is surprising, because it was only about two kilometers from the urban area, it was like a preparation, they wanted to tell us that they were at the door of our houses and that they were hitting. doubts that will continue to materialize.”
Well, two kilometers away isn’t really “at the door” but it was enough for Álvarez, who says he’s been studying UFOs for 15 years, to contact fellow local ufologist Alejandro Godoy, who claimed he was already in contact with the beings doing the flashing and that there were two ships in the area. Godoy said it was OK to get closer, which is what Álvarez reportedly did.
“I went immediately to the scene and I felt a great emotion, I had many experiences of contacts with extraterrestrial spaceships, but this is the first time that we can record a video that shows clearly that they are greeting us. Materially, we were in contact with the ship. They just let themselves be filmed and documented so that everyone knows about this demonstration and the testimonies.”
Unfortunately, the video Álvarez released (see it here) shows just the flashing lights, so we’re left with his limited description that the crafts were at least 15 meters (50 feet). He also claimed that this type of contact is a common occurrence in Rosario de La Frontera.
“There are many paranormal issues we can discuss. I can tell you there are various civilizations operating in Rosario de la Frontera. There are documented cases in the area of Duraznito, where locals and farmers saw them on the mountains. In these demonstrations they choose who to contact, regardless of the social, cultural or religious condition of the person.”
Aliens who do not know discrimination. What type of strange species could this be?
“[They] are members of the Pleiadian civilization.”
Ah, yes … the inhabitants of the Pleiades stars who are said to be really concerned about us, which Álvarez confirms.
“It is very nice what is happening to me, but I think it is also a warning to humanity about wars and the use of nuclear and chemical weapons.”
For those trying to connect the dots, this went from dim lights flashing in the woods to a dire warning of nuclear destruction – quite a jump. If the Pleiadians are really concerned about humanity, why don’t they at least communicate with searchlights … or lasers … or by interrupting the basketball playoffs for an important announcement?
Sorry, Rosario de La Frontera. You’re going to need more than just blinking lights and vague stories to qualify as a UFO hotbed and get your own annual alien festival and cable reality show.

Reptilian menaces called Silurians evolved on Earth before humankind — at least in the “Doctor Who” rendition of the universe. But science fiction aside, how would we know if some advanced civilization existed on our home planet millions of years before brainy humans showed up?
This is a serious question, and serious scientists are speculating about what traces these potential predecessors might have left behind. And they’re calling this possibility the Silurian hypothesis.
When it comes to the hunt for advanced extraterrestrial civilizations that might exist across the cosmos, one must reckon with the knowledge that the universe is about 13.8 billion years old. In contrast, complex life has existed on Earth’s surface for only about 400 million years, and humans have only developed industrial civilizations in the last 300 years. This raises the possibility that industrial civilizations might have been around long before human ones ever existed — not just around other stars, but even on Earth itself.
“Now, I don’t believe an industrial civilization existed on Earth before our own — I don’t think there was a dinosaur civilization or a giant tree sloth civilization,” said study co-author Adam Frank, an astrophysicist at the University of Rochester in New York. “But the question of what one would look like if it did [exist] is important. How do you know there hasn’t been one? The whole point of science is to ask a question and see where it leads. That’s the essence of what makes science so exciting.”
Artifacts of human or other industrial civilizations are unlikely to be found on a planet’s surface after about 4 million years, said Frank and study co-author Gavin Schmidt, director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York. For instance, they noted that urban areas currently take up less than 1 percent of Earth’s surface, and that complex items, even from early human technology, are very rarely found. A machine as complex as the Antikythera mechanism — which is considered to be the world’s first computer from ancient Greece — remained unknown until the development of elaborate clocks in Renaissance Europe.
One may also find it difficult to unearth fossils of any beings who might have lived in industrial civilizations, the scientists added. The fraction of life that gets fossilized is always extremely small: Of all the many dinosaurs that ever lived, for example, only a few thousand nearly complete fossil specimens of the “terrible lizards” have been discovered. Given that the oldest known fossils of Homo sapiens are only about 300,000 years old, there is no certainty that our species might even appear in the fossil record in the long run, they added.
Instead, the researchers suggested looking for more subtle evidence of industrial civilizations in the geological records of Earth or other planets. The scientists focused on looking at the signs of civilization that humans might create during the Anthropocene, the geological age characterized by humans’ influence on the planet.
“After a few million years, any physical reminder of your civilization may be gone, so you have to look for sedimentary anomalies, things like different chemical balances that just look wacky,” Frank said.
One sign of industrial civilization may have to do with isotopes of elements such as carbon. (Isotopes of an element vary in how many neutrons they possess in their atomic nuclei — for example, carbon-12 has six neutrons, while carbon-13 has seven.)
For instance, humans living in industrial civilizations have burned an extraordinary amount of fossil fuels, releasing more than 500 billion tons of carbon from coal, oil and natural gas into the atmosphere. Fossil fuels ultimately derive from plant life, which preferentially absorb more of the lighter isotope carbon-12 than the heavier isotope carbon-13. When fossil fuels get burned, they alter the ratio of carbon-12 to carbon-13 normally found in the atmosphere, ocean and soils — an effect that could later be detected in sediments as hints of an industrial civilization.
In addition, human industrial civilizations have also discovered ways to artificially “fix nitrogen” — that is, to break the powerful chemical bonds that hold nitrogen atoms together in pairs in the atmosphere, using the resulting single nitrogen atoms to create biologically useful molecules. The large-scale application of nitrogenous fertilizers generated via nitrogen fixing is already detectable in sediments remote from civilization, the scientists noted.
The Anthropocene is also triggering a mass extinction of a wide variety of species that’s likely visible in the fossil record. Human industrial activity may also prove to be visible in the geological record in the form of long-lived synthetic molecules from plastics and other products, or radioactive fallout from nuclear weapons.
One wild idea the Silurian hypothesis raises is that the end of one civilization could sow the seeds for another. Industrial civilizations may trigger dead zones in oceans, causing organic material (from the corpses of organisms in the zones) to get buried that could, down the line, become fossil fuels that could support a new industrial civilization. “You could end up seeing these cycles in the geological record,” Frank said.
All in all, thinking about the impact that a previous civilization has on Earth “could help us think about what effects one might see on other planets, or about what is happening now on Earth,” Frank said.
Schmidt and Frank detailed their findings online April 10 in a study to be published in a forthcoming issue of the journal International Journal of Astrobiology.
Humans have been trying to find out whether or not we're alone in the universe for centuries.
Aboard the Voyager 1 space probe - which has travelled further than any other man-made object - is a golden disc containing information about humans and the cultures of our planet.
It was hoped by NASA engineers in the 70s that it would once day come into contact with intelligent life and educate them about humankind.
As well as sending out potential communications to other worlds, many people have reported evidence of aliens here on Earth.

Recently, the mummified remains of what was believed to be an alien proved to be a small child.
The skeleton measured just six inches in height, and was found 15 years ago in Chile. UFO experts were convinced the mummified skeleton was extraterrestrial in origin, and a documentary suggested it was an alien.
Following five years of research, scientists concluded that the figure, nicknamed Ata, was actually a baby girl.
Even though Ata turned out to be a story of human tragedy rather than of alien visitors, there are plenty of other mysterious sightings that have yet to be explained.
Evidence of aliens on Earth - Roswell, New Mexico
In July 1947 Sheriff Jess Slaughter and Deputy Sheriff Charles Fogus were travelling together to pick up a prisoner when they heard on their police radio reports of a crashed aircraft.
The two men, who were travelling to Roswell, New Mexico, decided to investigate and stumbled across the scene of one of the most famous UFO incidents in history.
While the US military have long claimed the crashed object was merely a weather balloon, conspiracy theorists believe the site was the scene of at least one alien aircraft crash and the recovery of extraterrestrials.

In a new book, UFOs TODAY – 70 Years of Lies, Misinformation and Government Cover-Up, law enforcement officer Fogus reveals he saw a downed flying saucer and military personnel removing a number of alien bodies from the scene.
It is the first time his statement has been published.
In the interview he says he say a flying saucer crashed into the side of a river bed which was "100ft across".

Describing the scene he said: "When we got there, the land was covered with soldiers. They were hauling a big, a creature.
"The bodies must have been 5 feet tall.
"I saw the legs and feet on some of them. They looked like our feet.
"The skin was a brownish color…. Like they were in the sun too long.
"There were soldiers there….about 3 or 4 hundred of them.
"We seen them haul them (the bodies) out there, out of the canyon up to the trucks….puttin them on the tow trucks so they could haul them."
The story of the discovery at Roswell has become legend - and remained one of the most compelling conspiracy theories about the existence of alien visitors to Earth.
Evidence of aliens on Mars - trace fossils

Thanks to satellite imagery and on-site photography captured by the NASA rovers on the planet's surface, there have been many claims that aliens once inhabited Mars.
One of the most striking is the idea that fossilised remains of aliens have been preserved on the dusty surface of the red planet.
A series of pictures taken by the space agency's Curiosity rover have given rise to the idea, after researchers found what looks like fossils among the rocks.

Barry DiGregorio, a research fellow at the University of Buckingham, believes these photos (taken on January 2, 2018) reveal "trace fossils" on the surface of Mars.
"They look remarkably similar to Ordovician trace fossils I have studied and photographed here on Earth," he said.
"If not trace fossils, what other geological explanations will NASA come up with?"
NASA described the formations as "stick-like figures" with each one "about a quarter-inch long".
The space agency used the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) camera on board the Curiosity rover to take the close-up pictures of the patterns.
Trace fossils are the name given to remains of things left behind by creatures such as dead remains, footprints or burrows.
Evidence of aliens in space - the 'Wow' signal and FSBs

Some of the biggest evidence of alien life comes through signals we intercept originating from distant corners of the galaxy.
Often, these are known as "fast radio bursts" or FSBs for short.
Back in 1977, astronomer Jerry Ehman received such a strong radio signal coming in from the heavens, he wrote the word "wow!" next to his results.
The burst of activity lasted 72 seconds and - although it came from the Sagittarius constellation - it matched no known celestial object.
But now Professor Antonio Paris from the St Petersburg College in Florida believes he's solved the mystery.
"I have always been fascinated with astronomy, space and - more importantly - whether there is life in the universe," he told the Sunday Times .
"After 40 years, the Wow signal was a cold case I wanted to reopen.
According to Professor Paris, the signal came from the hydrogen cloud created by two comets as they passed by Earth.
Using celestial records, he found that these two comets were passing by our planet on August 15, 1977 - the day the "Wow!" signal was recorded. Of course, at the time, there was no knowledge that these comets even existed.

Even without the "Wow" signal, scientists have been intercepting strange FSBs for years.
Some have been detected from an object called FRB 121102 and now a new study has found that the object is nearly 100 per cent polarised.
This polarisation suggests that the source of the bursts lies within a strong magnetic field, such as around a massive black hole - and could belong to aliens.
The findings were made by the Breakthrough Listen team at the University of California, Berkley, as well as another team of astronomers from the Netherlands.
What do most people think about aliens?

Nearly half of humans believe that intelligent extra-terrestrial life exists elsewhere in the universe, according to a study that asked 26,000 people across 24 countries.
When they were asked if they believed in the "existence of intelligent alien civilisations in the universe," 47% of the survey respondents said yes.
However, when those taking the survey were asked if they believed in "some form of life on other planets," 61% said yes.
Among those who reckon we aren't alone, 60% said we should try and communicate with aliens - something that is actually being attempted at the non profit Search for extra-terrestrial intelligence (SETI) Institute.
Martijn Lampert, research director at Glocalities , which carried out the survey, commented: "People who believe in the existence of intelligent alien civilizations are not a marginal minority, but constitute a large (47%) and distinct segment of unconventional and anti-authoritarian thinkers with a passion for science, technology, culture, politics and the arts."
Only a quarter of respondents said they didn't believe that alien life exists beyond Earth's borders.

We may not have come into contact with them yet, but it seems certain that some form of live exists beyond our planet.
Whether that live is micro bacterial or intelligent in its own right remains to be seen.
What's for sure is that human beings won't stop trying to reach out and communicate with any other species that might be listening. The truth is out there.
When we think about the reality of meeting an extraterrestrial race, we often think about the difficulty, and sometimes supposed impossibility, of communicating or even recognizing that communication was being attempted. We wonder, also, how we could recognize a culture completely outside of our frames of reference. Could we even identify alien artwork, let alone appreciate it? Could we recognize alien music, if they indeed had a concept of music? A paper published in the journal Scientific Reports suggests that humans would be able to recognize and appreciate alien music due to our ability to process language, provided that it follows a couple of rules, and suggests that we might have an easier time understanding a completely alien culture than we’ve previously thought.
OK, music nerd time. Sorry. The rules in question aren’t specifically musical rules, or even specific grammatical rules, but sort of “meta rules” of structure and coherence. Alien musicwould need to be built on local and non-local dependencies. Dependencies, in terms of music, are the commonalities that make a song sound like one coherent piece. A local dependency binds two adjacent things together—something like a drum pattern repeating every four bars—and non-local dependencies bind non-adjacent things together. Non-local dependencies can be understood in terms of pop-music: the classic verse-chorus structure. The two verses are non-adjacent, because they’re separated by a chorus, but the second verse follows a rule set up by the first. This is used to create anticipation, resolution, emotional resonance and all the things that make music awesome. It’s not confined to pop-music at all, you’ll find local and non-local dependencies throughout all human music from classical, to punk rock, to non-western music like that from India or the Arab peninsula, that use completely different scales and rhythmic figures, but pop’s simplicity makes it a very easy example.
Right, got that out of my system. That explanation is important, though. Essentially, as long as alien music had some sort of internal structure, we’d be able to recognize it even if it followed exactly zero musical rules that our culture had prepared us for.
Music is just emotional math, and instruments are human-powered calculators.
To figure this out, Vincent Cheung and his team at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences wrote some “alien” music of their own. Their description of the alien music is “randomly generated combinations of tone-triplets that were combined in a palindrome-like manner.” They brought in musicians of different levels of expertise and played for them their “alien music,” in a composition alongside random sequences with no internal grammatical rules. The musicians were tasked with determining which sequences followed randomly generated grammatical rules local dependencies, and which sequences had no grammatical rules. The team found that they could, and that they could identify non-local dependencies within the compositions as well.
Sequences of repeating electronic tones that only follow a weird internal logic? Now you’re speaking my language.
Repeating the tests with the musicians in an MRI machine, the team found something surprising. An area of the brain on the right hemisphere was lighting up, which mirrored “Broca’s area.” Broca’s area—named for anatomist Paul Broca—is part of the cerebral cortex on the left side of the brain and it’s responsible for our understanding of dependencies in language. It’s what flips out when you hear grammatical mistakes in language. What the researchers found is that we have a twin area on the other side of the brain that understands grammar in more ethereal and subjective things like music. It seems we might be hard-wired to understand structure itself, regardless of our cultural frameworks.
There are so many works of fiction that deal with the obvious communication and cultural barriers that would be between us and any alien species. The 2016 film Arrival, and the short story it was based on, dealt with that question and cast a linguist as the hero figure who deciphers an alien language that doesn’t even conform to our sense of time. Close Encounters of the Third Kind involved communication through music specifically. It seems reasonable to imagine that any species that can travel through space would base their culture and communication on some internal set of rules, even if it doesn’t resemble ours in the slightest. This research could suggest that we’d be able to easily recognize that there are rules, not just chaos, which would eliminate the very first barrier to understanding.

In our solar system there are many objects such as asteroids, comets or planets that astronomers have documented and described in detail. Of course, there are also satellites and satellites made by humans or larger space debris, such as burned rocket launchers.
In space, however, there are objects that astronomers can not identify, and some even consider them non-Earth satellites. What are they actually?
1. We do not know the celestial body Astronomers in space are constantly searching for unknown asteroids that could also endanger our planet Earth. That is why, in 1999, in the American state of New Mexico, the Linear Satellite project was created, where scientists searched by means of an automatic telescope to search for unknown or unidentified asteroids.
Over the course of this project, they discovered an unknown body with a diameter of 30 to 50 meters, which runs around the Sun on a nearly circular path with a circulation period of 1.09 years. This object, which was named 1999 CG9, is about 158 million kilometers from the Sun, about 9 million kilometers away from our planet Earth. The greatest mystery for astronomers is its atypical orbit, which is almost circular. All other celestial bodies move along the elliptical path.
Brain Marsden of the Harward Smithsonian Center is convinced that due to the size of the object, it can not be the burning degree of a carrier rocket. Therefore, he believes that this object could come from a moon that has a small gravitational force when it was thrown into space in the event of a larger meteorite.
However, a detailed analysis of the composition of the 1999 CG9 satellite would be required to confirm this assumption. Some scientists, however, are skeptical about this, because it would be a really good piece of the Moon that was thrown into the universe, and its circular path, which scientists have not explained yet.
2. Unknown Celestial Body Even in November 1991, however, astronomers from the Kitt Peak Observatory in the US discovered a body that behaved similarly to the 1999 CG9 object. The Sky & Telescope magazine, which has been named the 1991 VG even referred to as a “true UFO,” because its orbit almost exactly copies the orbit of our blue planet, and it also features light effects.
The biggest mystery for astronomers is the fact that the 1991 VG does not reflect the radar waves at all, which is quite a matter of fact for other cosmic bodies. Therefore, the overwhelming majority of scientists consider the possibility that the natural body would behave as absolutely excluded.
Some scientists think it could be the remains of an earlier probe or rocket, but later it was found that such a orbit does not correspond to the calculated orbit of missiles and satellites so far. At the beginning of December 1991, this body traveled only 450,000 kilometers from the Earth
There is the possibility that this mysterious object is in fact some non-Earth probe or satellite, as was said by Australian astronomer Duncan Steel of the University of Adelaide. Later, however, he took his words back and said he was not convinced that this body was of extraterrestrial origin.
In the summer of 2017, the 1991 VG spacecraft can be seen from the southern hemisphere, and astronomers believe they can identify the satellite that is copying the Earth’s orbit. It will be just one of the burnt levels of the carrier rocket than most scientists think, or it may be a non-Earth probe, which does not exclude British astronomer Duncan Forgan. Let’s surprise you.

Scientists Say an 8-Mile-Deep Italian Cave May Be the Key to Finding Life on Mars

To prepare for missions to Mars, NASAtests out its tech in extreme localeslike Death Valley, Calif., and Lake Vostok in Antarctica, but it turns out that the Frasassi Caves in Italy may be one of the best places to explore when it comes to the search for life on Mars.
New research published in the journal Astrobiology has shown that life leaves behind distinct biosignatures in rock formations, especially in cave environments like Frasassi. Using these biosignatures, scientists can identify past and present alien microorganisms on Mars—or other planets.
At the heart of the new research is gypsum, a mineral created in the weathering of the Frasassi caves.
Researchers found unique patterns of isotopes in gypsum that suggested that something special happened when it formed, and did some digging into how biology might have influenced the mineral.
They found that microbes can speed up the chemical reactions that form gypsum, especially when water is present. In the process, the microbes leave behind tiny clues to their presence in the form of isotopes, which are atoms with have the same number of protons and electrons, but different numbers of neutrons.
According to Jenn Macalady, one of the geoscientists associated with the study.
"If we were to find a similar environment on Mars, we could use this particular biosignature to test for the current or past presence of life. But I think more generally what we're suggesting is that anytime you have microbes on a surface and a fluid moving past, the rates of reaction that the microbes generate would allow you to see variation in a signature like isotopes. The research is exciting because it's not just an example. It's a general prescription for looking for evidence of life."
Armed with this knowledge, future Mars missions may make caves the first place to study when they land on the Red Planet. Luckily, NASA has already received a proposal for a shape-shifting robot that can explore caves, oceans, and anywhere else we need. If there are extraterrestrial microbes lurking in Martian caves, we'll find them.
The old saying “to a man with a hammer, everything looks like a nail” can very adequately describe an obsessed UFO student such as yours truly. No matter how unrelated to the topic an article or news story may appear, you never know when you might stumble upon a juicy tidbit of information that could be indirectly related to a given case or report. That’s why you always need to leave your Fortean antenna fully raised.
Take for example this 2016 article from Business Insider titled“Apple employees break their vow of secrecy to describe the best — and worst — things about working for Apple.” At first glance, one would imagine the piece would be nothing but an inside look at what it is like to work for one of the biggest and most popular tech companies in the world; all the many sacrifices Apple employees are demanded to do, the super-long hours, the secrecy they have to conduct themselves with in order to safeguard their precious industrial secrets –and the severe penalties those who break that silence end up facing…
But then I found this paragraph:
Apple makes grammar and punctuation changes in its internal documents in order to track leaks.
This instantly grabbed my attention, because it reminded me of one of the most infamous –and fascinating– stories in the recent history of UFOlogy:Project Serpo.
Serpo –for those of you not familiar with the story– was the name of a supposed exchange program between aliens from Zeta Reticuli and the United States government. It wasn’t just every nuts-and-bolts UFO buff’s wet dream, but it was also the literal real-life version of Spielberg’s Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind: Remember how in the final scenes of the movie we see a crew of men and women carrying a black duffel bag on their shoulder and wearing a weird red jumpsuit with a triangular badge on their arm that said “Mayflower Project”? Despite the lack of clear explanations in the film, eventually the viewer deduces that these men and women volunteered to travel aboard the ET spaceship. In the end, though the aliens pick their own chosen one –the indomitable Roy Neary, who left everything behind (including his whole family) in pursuit of his vision– and the camera shows him being gently led by a swarm of spindly arms inside the mammoth craft, confidently stepping and fully accepting his fate as envoy to humanity… perhaps never to return.
Well, if you believe the anonymous source(s) sending emails to a UFO discussion group administered by former US government employee Victor Martinez in 2005, that is exactly what happened when the sole survivor of the Roswell saucer crash in 1947 was assisted by the US military in re-establishing contact with its homeworld: a planet named Serpo, orbiting the Zeta Reticuli binary star system. The Ebens –acronym given to the ETs in the emails following proper MJ-12 parlance, which were your stereotypical gray aliens– finally returned to Earth in 1965 to retrieve their comrade, and 12 specially-trained US military personnel went along with them. The group stayed on Serpo until 1978, and only 8 of them (seven men and one woman) returned to Earth, because 2 of them died on the alien world while the rest decided to stay and live among the peaceful Ebens, despite the fact the radiation levels on Serpo were higher than on our planet.
Notice I wrote “if you believe,” because there’s plenty of reasons why you shouldn’t…
For starters, the first red flag one encounters in the Serpo story is that it dutifully ticks almost all the boxes of the modern UFO mythos, which have been gradually added throughout the years: Roswell and the crash at the Corona site –proposed by researcher Stanton Friedman on his homonymous book Crash at Corona; the rumors of survivors to the crash which may have been utilized by the government in order to learn about the extraterrestrials and their intentions; the Reticulan origin of the aliens, firstly speculated from Marjorie Fish’s interpretation of Betty Hill’s star map; the idea of a secret arrangement or deal between the US military and the aliens, just as the infamous MJ-12 papers posit; the supposed landing of an alien ship at Holloman AFB; the conspiracy theory that Spielberg is a ‘Hollywood insider’ who’s been given the task to disseminate bits and pieces of the truth through his movies, in order to acclimatize the public (it’s not that Serpo borrowed its imagery from Close Encounters, it’s the other way around!); and lastly the concept of a secret space program, although in this case the humans are mere ‘tourists’ piggybacking a ride to the alien homeworld. The only ‘classical’ element missing in the Serpo narrative are alien abductions, which was probably meant to please the hardcore ‘nuts-and-bolts’ crowd among UFO circles, who were always annoyed by the rude disruption caused by the stories published by Hopkins and Jacobs in the first place in the late 80’s and early 90’s.
There’s also the all-too convenient element that everybody directly involved is dead –according to the anonymous sources, all the crewmembers who returned to Earth have since died due to the radiation they were exposed to– so there’s no-one who could personally confirm or deny the story, thus no chance of someone being exposed for making up outlandish fabrications (*cough* Basiago *cough*).
What’s interesting about the Serpo story is that it does have a certain whiff of plausibility, if you adhere to a certain narrative you seek to confirm –in this case, the extraterrestrial nature of the UFO mystery. Which is precisely why you should be wary of someone who is all too willing to tell you EXACTLY what you want to hear (TTS/AAS anyone?). Like I mentioned above, almost all the elements surrounding Serpo were already present in the contemporary UFO lore, and the illusion of confirmation can easily be engineered in retrospect, because hindsight is always 20/20.
Indeed, there’s been quite a number of researchers and UFO aficionados who have refused to bite this slithering bait (to his credit, Michael Salla was among those who were skeptic of the story) and have pointed out to a number of inconsistencies in the story handed down to Martinez by his anonymous sources –the scientific data about the alien home planet and its binary star system as depicted in the emails, didn’t pass the smell test when scrutinized by actual astronomers.
But perhaps the hottest red herring in the Serpo controversy was the involvement of one Richard Doty in it. Doty, for those of you still studying for your UFOlogy 101 exam, is a former AFOSI agent directly involved in some of the shadiest passages in the annals of this field; Greg Bishop’s Project Beta and Mark Pilkington’s documentary Mirage Men are indispensable in order to fully grasp the extent of Doty’s influence in the seeding of disinformation among the UFO research community, and the public at large.
All of this combined should raise enough alarms to conclude Project Serpo was either a flat-out hoax, or perhaps a disinformation campaign carried out at the behest of one or two intelligence organizations.
Which brings us to the Business Insider article and Apple’s practice to change the grammar and punctuation of their memos in order to track leaks, and its connection to the anonymous emails received by Victor Martinez. Greg Bishop has pointed out on several occasions on his podcast Radio Misterioso how the Serpo letters contained several typos and basic spelling errors which initially Martinez tried to correct before posting them on his UFO discussion group, and later on the Serpo website managed by UFO researcher Bill Ryan (.e.g. ‘hostel’ instead of ‘hostile’). Martinez had once been a teacher so perhaps he couldn’t help himself when dealing with these apparent transcript mistakes in order to make them more presentable, until ‘Anonymous’ ordered him to stop changing the text of the e-mails and publish them exactly as he had received them.
To Greg, who is quite familiar with the tactics utilized by intelligence operatives, this was clear indication that the typos were not mistakes, but deliberately planted into the released texts in order to track who was talking to who about Serpo.
When I recently mentioned this connection between Apple and Serpo’s anonymous source on the Radio Misterioso Facebook page, UFO scholar Aaron Gulyas offered another interesting piece of information: turns out that back in high school he used to be a huge fan of Tom Clancy’s Patriot Games novels, where he learned about this technique for the first time; Clancy had a very close relationship with the CIA and his books were full of accurate descriptions of espionage tactics, so it’s fair to assume the spelling technique was indeed standard practice among spooks of the time. Were the Serpo hoaxers and Apple executives also inspired by these novels, or is this little detail a clue that the anonymous emails were not just solely intended to build a ‘UFO fanfiction’ for the amusement of Martinez’s forum members?
My own personal yet-unconfirmed speculation on the matter, is that perhaps Serpo was a prototype specifically designed to test and calibrate the computerized surveillance programs Edward Snowden warned us about in 2013. It is definitely not unreasonable to assume that by 2005 (when Serpo went public) these spying systems were already in existence, but perhaps they were not mature enough yet to detect electronic communications on a global scale. So what better way to check the NSA system than by setting its net on a smaller, more contained pond instead of the whole ocean? A pond like the small community of online UFO researchers, in which you’ve already placed a hashtag term that’s easier to track down than ‘terrorism’ or ‘jihad’? A hashtag in the form of a made-up word that’s not totally foreign-looking, yet it will be only used in the communications you are focusing on?
A hashtag word like… Serpo.
Like the story of an alien/human exchange program, my Serpo/Snowden scenario has enough plausibility to be tantalizing. Yet I’m the first one to admit it’s just an speculation on my part. Still, Serpo remains a cautionary tale than when it comes to the UFO mystery, you ALWAYS need to be wary of unsolicited gifts handed out by anonymous sources –because they may turn up to be poisoned apples.
In 2003, Oscar Munoz found a mummy in the Atacama Desert ghost town of La Noria. The six-inch-long mummy, now called Ata, has an elongated skull, oddly shaped eye sockets, and only ten pairs of ribs... which helped fuel wild speculation that she was an alien hybrid. Ata was sold several times—probably illegally—and ended up in the private collection of Barcelona entrepreneur and UFO enthusiast Ramón Navia-Osorio. A 2013 documentary called Sirius soon helped immortalize Ata, focusing heavily on the alien hybrid claims.
When a team led by University of California, San Francisco bioinformatics researcher Sanchita Bhattacharya recently sequenced the tiny mummy’s genome, however, it revealed only a girl of Chilean descent. There were a complicated set of genetic mutations, including some usually associated with bone and growth disorders and a few more that have never been described before. Those mutations, the researchers claim, may help explain her unusual appearance.
It’s easy to see why the team's March paper attracted so much interest: a high-profile urban legend was fully debunked at last, but now there were hints at compelling medical discoveries. Most press outlets presented the results as conclusive, cut-and-dried science—except for a few UFO fan sites that loudly insisted the study was part of a cover-up. But even beyond the extraterrestrial exchanges, things have gotten very complicated, both in terms of the scientific claims and in terms of whether the research should have been done at all.
A scientific controversy
The complaints started only three days after Bhattacharya and her colleagues, including Stanford University immunologist Garry Nolan, published their paper in Genome Research. Chilean microbiologist Cristina Dorador of the University of Antofagasta published an article on Chilean science news site Etilmercurio, criticizing the geneticists for working with samples obtained from a mummy that had probably been illegally smuggled out of Chile. By March 28, TheNew York Timesreported that the Chilean National Monuments Council had launched an official inquiry into the provenance of the remains, and Chilean anthropologists and archaeologists criticized the ethics of the study and called for a retraction of the paper.
Nolan and co-author Atul Butte, a computational biologist at the University of California, San Francisco, published a response in the journal Genome Research on March 30, defending the ethics and scientific merits of their work. The journal also issued a statement defending their ethical standards and decision to publish. But now a group of anthropologists is challenging not only the ethics but the science behind the study.
This group, led by University of Otago bioarchaeologist Siân Halcrow, claims that Ata’s appearance was never actually that unusual—if you know what the bones of a human fetus are supposed to look like halfway through gestation. And if they’re right, it means the genetic study was unnecessary in the first place to prove Ata’s humanity or to understand the appearance of her bones.
Bones of contention
“There is nothing about Ata that suggests she is anything but a mummified human fetus,” bioarchaeologist Kristina Killgrove of the University of West Florida and the Ronin Institute told Ars. “Her body looks like a normal fetus around the mid-point of development and most likely represents a miscarriage.”
Fetal skeletons don’t look quite like fully developed infants. A fetus’ 11th and 12th ribs often haven’t developed by the middle of a pregnancy, for instance. And the process of passing through the birth canal tends to compress babies’ skulls into a slightly elongated, cone-like shape. Combine that with processes at work on the body after burial, the archaeologists say, and Ata’s appearance makes perfect sense.
This argument first emerged in 2013, when Nolan announced the results of an initial genetic study to Science Magazine. Stony Brook University School of Medicine anatomist William Jungers, in an interview at the time, remarked, “Genetic anomalies are not evident, probably because there aren't any.” Jungers is now part of Halcrow’s group.
What about the mutations Bhattacharya and her colleagues found in Ata’s genome? Halcrow and her colleagues say that the ones usually associated with bone and growth disorders wouldn’t impact the appearance of Ata's skeleton so early in her development. And they argue that it could just be coincidence that the previously unidentified mutations turn up at locations associated with bone formation and growth. Mutations, especially ones that affect only a single DNA base, are surprisingly common. And generally, they have no effect on a person’s body because they occur in regions of DNA that don’t actually code for anything.
Although headlines have claimed that Bhattacharya and her colleagues found the genetic mutations that explain Ata's appearance, the researchers themselves have been much more cautious. In an interview with Ars prior to the study's publication, Bhattacharya said that it would take more work in the lab, possibly using mice as a model, to figure out whether these specific mutations actually cause any deformities.
We have been searching for life on other space globes, including our natural satellite, Moon and our closest neighbor, Mars.
Moon is the only place after Earth where we, the humans have walked. The purpose was to find out if our moon can host life!
Space agencies are planning to land humans on Mars, too, in the near future to dig out the traces of life. NASA and their European counterparts are also extending their search for extraterrestrial life on some of the moons of Jupiter, Saturn and a few dwarf planets such as Ceres. These strange rocks have many awesome characteristics to support life.
Scientists and space watchers have time and again created the sensation with their not-so-reliable findings.
According to many conspiracy theories, aliens are already in contact with humans. If that is true, how easy it is for us to identify extraterrestrial life on Earth and in the outer space?
Finds of a Spanish University
A Spanish journal “Acta Astronautica” recently published a report about the finds of a study done by researchers at the University of Cádiz, Spain. A group of people was asked to spot the (signs of) human-made structures on alien land, and most of them spotted Earth-like creatures such as the famous waving gorilla or the (illusion of) human face on the top of a volcanic mountain on Mars.
Humans are so biased and have such a narrow definition of extraterrestrial intelligence (ETI) that it is hard for them to believe that aliens can be present in any form and may have an entirely different DNA or physical structure.
The reason behind the definition of ETI we have is basically the science fictions we read or watch. The visual representation of aliens has made us believe that aliens are an advanced version of humans. However, the fact can be miles away from our belief.
Telescopes and radio antennas to receive alien signals
NASA and other agencies have installed large radio telescopes to see and receive alien frequencies.
Amoeboid found below the thick frozen layer of water on a distant planet can also be an example of extraterrestrial life. Can single-celled creatures send radio signals or can it be spotted through a large city-sized telescope in the Earth’s orbit? Are the technology and approach we use to #search for extraterrestrial intelligence (SETI) really alien friendly? Are they advanced enough to spot aliens?
Characteristically, we have been searching for blue-red human-like creatures that we see in our movies. But, we need to understand that not every living thing in the universe can be a mirror image of creatures living on the Earth.
It’s all about the limitations of our imagination, say the researchers at the Spanish University.
The need is to broaden our search criteria to find brainy aliens. We need to peep into multiple directions following a multidisciplinary approach. But, what remains unquestioned here is, are we really open for that? Should we really contact aliens? #Alien life#how to spot an alien

The merest mention of a strange sighting at a secret military test base is enough to set internet conspiracy theorists aquiver.
Now UFO hunters are struggling to explain why a strange structure shaped like an ‘alien UFO’ has been built outside a naval research facility about 500 miles away from the mysterious Area 51.
Since we first revealed the location of a weird object spotted on Google Maps, readers have been getting in touch to give their own theories about the structure.
It’s been suggested that the spaceship-shaped construction is merely a cess-pit or fish farm.
Some alien hunters believe it’s a message to the stars, whilst others claim it’s a prop destined to be used in a fake extraterrestrial invasion – which is certainly an imaginative explanation.

Now we’ve received the most compelling theory about the structure: it’s an artificial lake used to test weapons.
This theory is backed up by the fact there appear to be loads of tanks dotted around the desert nearby, as well as rusty-looking aeroplanes.
Several boats can be seen near the mystery object itself. Seeing as you don’t generally find boats in the desert, it’s a fair bet they are being used for more than just fishing trips.
However, we have been unable to find a similar structure at other American military bases using Google Maps satellite images.
Test ranges tend to look fairly strange, as you can see in the pictures below, with some looking as if they are crop circle-style messages to aliens.
But if you see a weird structure near a military base, it’s reasonable to expect it’s being used to help devise new and improved ways of blowing things up.

Alien Implants: The Ultimate Proof Of Alien Abductions?
Every time we speak about aliens, we talk about UFO sightings. When talking about UFO signs, people speak of alien abductions, and when you read about a case where someone claims to be abducted, you end up learning about alien implants.
But what are the mysterious, miniature devices? Fact or fiction? If proven authentic, these implants could be considered as crystal-clear evidence of an alien presence on Earth.
For years, the general public has been tormented by stories of UFO sightings, and even, in some cases, even alien encounters.
However, fact-checking these stories have been disappointingly challenging to achieve.
More often than not, it simply comes down to taking a person’s word for it.
In some cases, photographs have been taken, but, inevitably, questions about their authenticity always come to light.
Therefore, when it comes down to aliens, and UFOs, physical evidence has been treated as the Holy Grail of UFO research.
The amount of “official” information about the UFO phenomenon that has been made available thanks to ufology reports around the world is impressive.
In recent years, various governments around the world have taken a step towards Disclosure as they’ve started releasing an ample amount fo top-secret documents about the UFO Phenomenon.
Not long ago, if you remember, NASA brought together scientists, theologians, philosophers, and historians to examine how to prepare the world for alien contact, whether it be microbial organisms or intelligent beings.
Recently, declassified materials have revealed that the Pentagon spent at least 22 million dollars researching the UFO phenomena in a secret program that existed for at least three years.
According to reports, from 2008 through 2011, the Pentagon spent a budget of around 22 million dollars on a program that investigated UFO’s. Called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, the mysterious secret program was supposedly shut down in 2012.
Anyway, getting back to alien implants…
Strange marks on the body and implants extracted from people who claim to have been abducted have been present whenever someone comes forward saying he or she was abducted by aliens.
The case of the extracted implants is very fascinating, and if proven authentic, this material could be considered as the long searched for scientific evidence of the existence of aliens, and alien abductions.
Dr. Roger Leir is arguably the best person with ‘experience’ in the extraction of extraterrestrial implants. According to Dr. Leir, he performed 17 surgeries in which he extracted small objects of unknown origin.
According to Dr. Leir, a hallucinatory feature is that these supposed incrustations the size of a pencil point were magnetic in nature, and some even emitted radio frequencies.
Other objects examined had meteorite fragments inside them; metals such as gallium, germanium, platinum, ruthenium, rhodium, and iridium.
According to Alex Mosier, who has a Ph.D. in Philosophy, Chemistry, and Physics, who examined the pieces together with Leir, fibers were found very similar to carbon nano-tubes, suggesting that the fragments were designed or manufactured:
“You would not find these things in nature, they have to be processed, they require complex engineering, and they are not easy to manufacture. ”
As noted by mufon.com, tests were performed on both the removed alien implants and the individuals several years after surgical removal.
The alleged implants removed from the first set of surgeries were studied by two different pathologists and then sent to various independent laboratories for extensive scientific analysis. The tests performed on these alleged alien implants were: a pathology/tissue evaluation, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), extensive metallurgical testing involving a density immersion test, X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction pattern analysis and electron/magnetic and fluorescence property analysis. Isotopic range tests are also in progress. Tests were conducted by the National Institute of Discovery of Science (NIDS), New Mexico Tech, and other independent sources.
“The findings of these implant surgeries are highly unusual,” reported Dr. Leir. “In all these cases, there was virtually no inflammatory response.”
This is not the usual finding in foreign tissue reactions. Typically, foreign bodies embedded in tissues result in some type of acute or chronic inflammatory response and may include fibrosis and cyst formation. Such was not the case here. The pathology reports of the first two surgeries revealed that the metallic objects were encased in a very dense, tough, grey membrane consisting of proteinaceous coagulum, hemoseridin, and pure keratin.
More directly, blood protein and skin cells that are usually found in the superficial layer of the skin. Biological “cocoons” encasing the implants were also found to contain nerve proprioceptors – nerve and pressure cells of the wrong tissue type for that part of the body. These implant cocoons also fluoresced a bright green color in the presence of an ultraviolet light source.
Dr. Leir, who also worked as a consultant physician at the Mutual UFO Network, claimed that the people from whom he extracted the alien objects had no visible scars or disruption in the integrity of the skin.
There were no signs of inflammation, but the X-rays showed the incrustation, which seemed almost impossible.
The specialist in podiatry died on March 14, 2014 (paradoxically, due to a foot injury), so his studies did not go beyond a limited budget that prevented further understanding of the findings.
Until now, medicine, and probably other scientific fields, have had a phobia with respect to performing tests on people who claimed to have been abducted.
There are very few scientists and doctors who have dared to venture out into UFOlogy, especially because of the loss of prestige that this entails. However, if we are to come to the bottom of the UFO mystery, scientists, doctors, and other experts should start thinking about proactively participating in the UFO discussion, as only then will we be able to fully understand what on Earth is going on.

THE AURORA, TEXAS CRASH OF 1897
The state of Texas has always been called the “big state.” This expression applies to many things, but is especially true regarding “tall tales.” I have heard them all of my life, and sometimes it is difficult to separate truth from fiction. Such is the case with one story that comes from the small town of Aurora.
The town’s history book labels the community as “the town that almost wasn’t,” and that expression is directly related to the legend of a spaceship crashing into a windmill, and the burial of a small alien creature found in the aftermath.This event has become the most important news story to ever come out of this small Texas city. Aurora was designated a “historical site” by the State of Texas.
The year was 1897, and this was the year of the “great airships” reports in the United States. As the story goes, it was on April 17, 1897, that a slow moving space ship crashed into a windmill, bursting into pieces. As the debris was searched through, supposedly the body of a small alien was discovered.
Originally the alien pilot was dubbed the “Martian pilot.”
Some of the debris also revealed material sketched with a type of hieroglyphic. The town folk gave the poor little creature a proper burial in the local cemetery.
This incident, whether true or not, has had just enough publicity to stay afloat for over 100 years. It was made into a movie, “The Aurora Encounter” in 1986, starring Jack Elam.
The news of the crash spread quickly, even for that time period. A newspaper article of the event still exists, written by S. E. Haydon, reporter for the Dallas Morning News. Below is the original article:
About 6 o’clock this morning the early risers of Aurora were astonished at the sudden appearance of the airship which has been sailing around the country. It was traveling due north and much nearer the earth than before.
Evidently some of the machinery was out of order, for it was making a speed of only ten or twelve miles an hour, and gradually settling toward the earth. It sailed over the public square and when it reached the north part of town it collided with the tower of Judge Proctor’s windmill and went into pieces with a terrific explosion, scattering debris over several acres of ground, wrecking the windmill and water tank and destroying the judge’s flower garden.
The pilot of the ship is supposed to have been the only one aboard and, while his remains were badly disfigured, enough of the original has been picked up to show that he was not an inhabitant of this world.
The story never gained a lot of exposure at the time, but held on until it was commented on by UPI on May 24, 1973:
“Aurora, Tex. — (UPI) — A grave in a small north Texas cemetery contains the body of an 1897 astronaut who was ‘not an inhabitant of this world,’ according to the International UFO Bureau. The group, which investigates unidentified flying objects, has already initiated legal proceedings to exhume the body and will go to court if necessary to open the grave, director Hayden Hewes said Wednesday.”
“After checking the grave with metal detectors and gathering facts for three months, we are certain as we can be at this point [that] he was the pilot of a UFO which reportedly exploded atop a well on Judge J.S. Proctor’s place, April 19, 1897,” Hewes said.” “He was not an inhabitant of this world.”
The legend was back in the news! Only a couple of days later, UPI followed up the first report with another from Aurora. They had located a living witness to the event.
A ninety-one-year-old who had been a girl of fifteen in Aurora at the time of the reported incident was quoted. “I had all but forgotten the incident until it appeared in the newspapers recently.”
She said her parents had actually been to the crash sight, but had not allowed her to accompany them for fear of what might be in the debris.
She recalled that the remains of the pilot, “a small man,” had been buried in the Aurora cemetery, validating the other legends.
The Associated Press now joined the chase for the sensational story. From the city of Denton, Texas came this account:
“A North Texas State University professor had found some metal fragments near the Oates gas station (former Proctor farm). One fragment was said to be ‘most intriguing’ because it consisted primarily of iron which did not seem to exhibit magnetic properties.”
The professor also said he was puzzled because the fragment was “shiny and malleable instead of dull and brittle like iron.”
For reasons unknown, the Aurora Cemetery Association fought the attempts to exhume the alleged alien body. They were successful, and the dead alien’s remains stayed a mystery. The town of Aurora still shows traces of Military intervention today, and the question must be asked, “Why would the U. S. Military be in the town of Aurora?”
Anyone familiar with the Roswell crash of 1947 will remember that debris from Mac Brazel’s field was flown to Ft. Worth, which is only a short hop’s distance from Aurora. Is this why the Military was in Aurora? Could the Government have the alien body?
Today Aurora, like other cities, is modernized, and yet a few hints of the past still remain. Although the headstone of the alien was stolen, there remain pictures of it today. A copy of this photo now adorns the grave site.
There has been, at times, a lobby to exhume the remains of the little pilot and give it a proper burial, with a new headstone. So far, this has not happened. Should the little grave be dug up, or should we just leave it and the legend of the Aurora UFO alone?

Study Claims Technologically Advanced Species Could Have Been On Earth Tens Of Millions Of Years Ago
We like to think that we are an exception: An intelligent life that has developed a vastly complex indust
rialized civilization unlike anything seen before. But would we actually know if millions of years ago some other life forms had created huge cities, altered the landscape, and formed their own civilization? What would be left of their exploits for us to find?
This is the thought experiment that the director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies, Gavin Schmidt, and professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Rochester, Adam Frank, have been exploring. They want to understand if any evidence of a hugely advanced civilization could persist tens of millions of years into the future and, if so, what form it might take. Their results are published in the International Journal of Astrobiology.
“Gavin and I have not seen any evidence of another industrial civilization,” Frank lays out from the onset. Since they have not found any pre-human civilization, they have been looking at what impact we as a species are having on the planet, and how long those impacts are likely to be detectable into the future. “These questions make us think about the future and the past in a much different way, including how any planetary-scale civilization might rise and fall.”
While we have plenty of evidence of past civilizations in the form of statutes and foundations that date back maybe a few thousand years at most, things get far more opaque when the clock is rolled back by a few million or hundreds of millions of years.

Calling this the “Silurian hypothesis” – after the technologically advanced reptiles from Dr. Who – they speculate what would be left if a civilization lasted for 100,000 years or so around 60 million years ago. That may sound like a long time, but in the history of the Earth, it is but a blip. However, the chance of fossils would be rare, so what else could we look for?
As a species, we are currently laying down all sorts of traces that will be detectable in a 100 million years’ time. In feeding 7 billion people, we’ve completely altered the nitrogen cycle, with much of it now finding its way into sediment at the bottom of the ocean and the tops of mountains. On the flip side, rare earth elements that were once buried deep are now floating free at the surface as we develop ever more complex technology.
That’s not to mention the changes in the carbon cycle from burning so much fossil fuel or the millions of tonnes of plastic being laid down. Some have even suggested that all the plastic we’re producing is forming a new kind of rock, and all these changes will still be detectable far into the future.
All this is obviously hypothetical at the moment, but it has an important point. These are the kind of clues we could use to look for previously advanced civilizations on other planets.
“We know early Mars and, perhaps, early Venus were more habitable than they are now, and conceivably we will one day drill through the geological sediments there, too,” says Gavin Schmidt. “This helps us think about what we should be looking for.”
Researchers found two hidden lakes that can provide key data in the search for extraterrestrial life on other planets. Two bodies of water in the liquid state were detected under the glaciers of the Canadian Arctic, buried under about 500 meters of ice.
The water has an estimated temperature of minus 10.5 degrees Celsius and scientists infer that it has a high concentration of salt, which is what prevented it from freezing. This finding was made by a team from the University of Alberta.
Stunning lakes under the ice
“I was surprised and a little perplexed,” said Anja Rutishauser, one of the authors of the study. “We were not looking for subglacial lakes,” she said.
Although the presence of water below the glaciers is a fairly common phenomenon, it was believed that the water in Devon Ice Cap was frozen from the base up. They are the first two such lakes observed in Canada and cover an estimated area of between 5 and 8 square kilometers, respectively.
These lakes are different from others in Greenland and Antarctica, which contain fresh water generated by the melting of ice produced by the geothermal energy of the rocks below. These reserves are isolated by thick masses of ice.
How can the lakes beneath Canadian glaciers help the search for extraterrestrial life on other planets?
Scientists believe that the same temperature and salinity are presented by the oceans beneath the glaciers on Europe, one of the moons of Jupiter. The potential of these environments to house life is an important issue since they would represent an isolated habitat for microbes.
“The probability of life in these systems is high, although temperatures suggest that biological activity would be severely limited,” explained Alison Murray of the Nevada Research Institute.
Claire Cousins, of the University of Saint Andrews, explained that, even though the chemical conditions are different from those of the icy moons like Europe, these lakes will help scientists to understand the habitability of the hypersaline environments beneath ice layers.
It is believed that there is a large network of lakes in the Candian Arctic region, in addition to the two that were observed so far. Also, the researchers suggest that these lakes were hidden about 120,000 years ago.
In conclusion, scientists will study the newly lakes found beneath Canadian Arctic glaciers hoping that will discover something that could help them search for extraterrestrial life on other planets, such as the Jupiter’s Europa.

A couple of months ago top US astronomers gathered in front of congress to let them know that extraterrestrial life exists without question.
Their main argument was the size of the universe, emphasizing that there are trillions of stars out there, with one in every five most likely harboring an Earth-like planet.
It’s also important to keep in mind that planets do not have to be “Earth-like” in order to harbor life.
“The number of habitable worlds in our galaxy is certainly in the tens of billions, minimum, and we haven’t even talked about the moons. And the number of galaxies we can see, other than our own, is about 100 billion.”

This time, NASA and the Library of Congress have teamed up bringing together scientists, theologians, philosophers and historians from around the globe for a two day symposium in order to discuss how to prepare the world for extraterrestrial contact, whether it be microbial organisms or intelligent beings.
“We’re looking at all scenarios about finding life. If you find microbes, that’s one thing. If you find intelligence, it’s another. And if they communicate, it’s something else, and depending on what they say, it’s something else!
“The idea is not to wait until we make a discovery, but to try and prepare the public for what the implications might be when such a discovery is made. I think the reason that NASA is backing this is because of all the recent activity in the discovery of exoplanets and the advances in astrobiology in general.
“People just consider it much more likely now that we’re going to find something — probably microbes first and maybe intelligence later. The driving force behind this is from a scientific point of view that it seems much more likely now that we are going to find life at some point in the future.”

One of the theologians present was Brother Guy Consolmagno, who is the new president of the Vatican Observatory Foundation. This is what he had to say:
“I Believe [alien life exists], but I have no evidence. I would be really excited and it would make my understanding of my religion deeper and richer in ways that I can’t even predict yet, which is why it would be so exciting.” (source)
He is urging the public not to be so surprised when extraterrestrial life is discovered, because it will be discovered. He even said that he would be happy to baptize them, if it’s intelligent extraterrestrial life that’s discovered. The Vatican has been very open to the idea of intelligent extraterrestrial life, and they’ve expressed these views for a very long time.
Earth is not the center of the universe, it’s not flat, and it’s looking very likely that the next major paradigm shifting revelation will be the fact that we are not alone in the universe.
It’s great to see the mainstream world gather, discuss and prepare for this possibility and ultimate reality, and it’s a great seg-way to create more awareness about the world of secrecy, the world’s within our world that deal with projects the human race knows nothing about.
The Other Probability – Intelligent Extraterrestrial Life is Already Here

This information is from a previous article I wrote earlier in the year, I thought it would be fitting to cut and paste it here for our new readers. In the United States alone, at least half of all Americans say that we’re not alone in the universe. Fifty percent of Americans already believe that there is some form of life on other planets, while only seventeen percent think that there isn’t. A quarter of Americans believe that intelligent extraterrestrial visitors have already come to Earth and have been doing so for a long time. (source)

There are multiple reasons why the extraterrestrial question continues to gain popularity. People are starting to ask questions about the world around them, utilizing critical thinking and investigation. After thoroughly investigating this topic your conclusions will be similar to the conclusions of the majority, we are not alone, and we are being visited.
1. The Size of the Universe
How often do you look up into the night sky and wonder just how many stars, planets, galaxies and more are out there? Space has been a high area of interest that has always fascinated scientists, philosophers, musicians and pretty much just about everyone.
What is it about deep space that grabs our attention so much? To think about just how big the universe is can really put things into perspective.
Counting the stars in the universe is like trying to count the number of sand grains on a beach, not possible.
Although estimates vary among different experts, the general consensus is that there are at least between 100 billion and 200 billion galaxies in our universe. Think about that for a moment, and now throw in billions of stars in each galaxy! (source) This number could very easily be in the trillions for all we know.
Take the Milky Way Galaxy for example, which measures to about 120,000 light years across (it would take light that many years to travel across the galaxy), and contains up to 400 billion stars. Again, that’s billions of galaxies that contain billions of stars. (source)
Scientists estimate that at least 10 billion habitable Earth-sized planets exist in the milky way alone ( one galaxy out of billions), but it’s important to keep an open mind as to what type of conditions and environments some unknown extraterrestrial like forms could thrive in. They all don’t necessarily have to be Earth-like.
Given our estimation of the size of the universe, or multiverse (whatever you want to call it), odds are we are not alone.
2. Whistle Blowers
The past few years have seen a surge of whistle-blowers that’ve come out and said some remarkable things. Bradley Manning, Edward Snowden and Julian Assange have received the most attention, but the reality is that there are hundreds of whistle blowers who have come forward with verified credentials and backgrounds.
Mass surveillance and the security state is not the only thing shocking people around the world, it’s the fact that many of these whistle blowers claim that we are not alone in the universe. It wouldn’t be so hard to ignore if it wasn’t for the backgrounds these people have in their respected fields.
The first one that comes to mind is Paul Hellyer, Former Canadian Defence Minister, the man responsible for unifying the Canadian Air Force, Army and the Navy into one united force now known as the Canadian Forces.
For someone with such a background to come out and make these extraordinary claims definitely grabbed the attention of many people.
“Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about the direction we were heading and offered to help. Instead, some of us interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after. Trillions of dollars have been spent on black projects which both congress and the commander in chief have deliberately been kept in the dark.” (source)
”In one of the cases during the cold war, 1961, there were about 50 UFOs in formation flying South from Russia across Europe. The supreme allied commander was very concerned and was about ready to press the panic button when they turned around and went back over the North Pole. They decided to do an investigation and they investigated for three years and they decided that with absolute certainty that four different species, at least, have been visiting this planet for thousands of years. There’s been a lot more activity in the past two decades, especially since we invented the atomic bomb.” (source)
Paul Hellyer isn’t the only one making extraordinary statements, at least a dozen NASA astronauts have done the same. Just like Dr. Edgar Mitchell’s quote, other astronauts have said some remarkable things. Let’s take a look at a few (out of many) examples.
“There is abundant evidence that we are being contacted, that civilizations have been monitoring us for a very long time. That their appearance is bizarre from any type of traditional materialistic western point of view. “In my opinion I think they were worried that it would panic the public so they started telling lies about it. And then I think they had to tell another lie to cover their first lie, now they don’t know how to get out of it. There are a number of extraterrestrial vehicles out there cruising around.”

The list of quotes from all fields, from many people is outstanding. I could literally fill pages upon pages so I’ll stop here, I think you get the picture. These quotes by whistleblowers and people with prestigious backgrounds leads perfectly into the next point as to why almost everybody knows that we are not alone in the universe.

3. The Evidence of UFOs
Within the past few years, dozens of governments admitted to allocating resources and having programs to study the UFO phenomenon. For instance, in Canada the RCMP, Transport Canada, and the Department of National Defence recently admitted to tracking UFOs and investigating them. (source)
They’ve been doing it for years, accumulating thousands upon thousands of UFO related documents. Many of these documents have since been officially released.
HERE is the latest batch of UFO files released from the United Kingdom.
Documents released by the National Security Agency (NSA) reveal what is recorded when a UFO is being tracked on radar. HERE is one example. HERE is a four page U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency and NSA report describing a particular encounter in great detail.
“As the F-4 approached a range of 25 nautical miles it lost all instrumentation and communications. When the F-4 turned away from the object and apparently was no longer a threat to it, the aircraft regained all instrumentation and communications. Another brightly lighted object came out of the original object. The second object headed straight toward the F4. ”

4. Mass Mainstream Media Attention
Media outlets of all kind are covering the topic, almost every movie that comes out these days has something to do with space or some kind of extraterrestrial intelligence. We’ve been bombarded with the topic for a while now so it’s not hard to see how it’s on the minds of many.
The most recent case of mainstream extraterrestrial ‘noise’ was made when scientists recently spoke to the house Committee on Science, Space and Technology. Dan Werthimer of the SETI Research Centre at the University of California, Berkeley, recently called for more funding to be allocated to the search for extraterrestrial life since he is “close to 100 percent” certain that we are not alone. In mid 2013, the same committee held a hearing about exoplanet discoveries, but perhaps one of the largest UFO/extraterrestrial hearings came at the National Press Club, which also took place in Mid-2013.
At this event, hundreds of researchers, activists and military/ agency/ political witnesses representing ten countries gave UFO/extraterrestrial testimony to six former members of the United States Congress about events and evidence indicating an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.
Former Sen. Mike Gravel (D-Alaska), and 2008 presidential candidate said that there is “an extraterrestrial influence that is investigating our planet. Something is monitoring the planet and they are monitoring it very cautiously.” You can learn more about the citizens hearing here.
Apart from these events, UFOs are constantly a topic of interest in today’s mainstream news. Unfortunately, most mainstream media outlets that cover the topic seek out to ridicule it rather than investigating it properly.

There are millions of people out there claiming to have contact with extraterrestrial beings. This has played a large role in spreading the influence of extraterrestrial interest across the world. All of us seem to be naturally fascinated with the unknown, especially when it comes to space. It seems like human nature.
Neuroscience can now explain what happens to our body when we meditate, but it’s something we all knew to be beneficial before the science. Is extraterrestrial life similar? Is it something we all feel deep down inside, something we don’t need proof for? (Even though the proof is there).

Final Thoughts
A few years ago the question was “Do UFOs exist?” Today that question has been answered, and the presence of UFOs performing maneuvers that defy our laws of physics has been well documented. The question has more so shifted to, “Is that an extraterrestrial space craft?”
It’s nothing to fear, in my opinion they’ve been around forever. They have been aware of us long before we have been aware of them. As speculated with our ancient civilizations in Earth’s brief past, perhaps they will one day interact with humanity again. I guess we will see.
Perhaps some groups are concerned about our planet, and come here further pushing the idea that we need to start changing the way we are doing things here. Perhaps one day soon we will find out.
I definitely believe that a good chunk of these UFOs are of extraterrestrial origin. I also believe that many of these crafts are “ours.”
We know our galaxy is huge, and that there’s an untold number of other galaxies out there in the unimaginably large universe. We also know that there’s bound to be plenty of planets in those galaxies, and at least a portion of them are bound to be habitable by some form of life. So, why haven’t we detected, spotted, or at least heard the faint whispers of another intelligent civilization outside of Earth? A planetary scientist from Colorado’s Southwest Research Institute believes he might have the answer, and it’s literally chilling.
Speaking at a meeting of the American Astronomy Society Division for Planetary Sciences Division, Alan Stern proposed an incredible answer to the question which has long puzzled astronomers and first contact hopefuls: aliens aren’t living outside.
It sounds like total bunk to us since humans are spread across just about every nook and cranny of planet Earth, but there’s a very real possibility that life could form, evolve, and even gain advanced intelligence without ever seeing the surface of their own planet. This would be most likely on frigid ocean worlds where underwater thermal vents would provide the heat energy to sustain life, and with the sheer number of frigid ocean worlds we already know exist, there’s no shortage of opportunities for this to happen.
If an intelligent alien civilization evolved in the depths of an icy ocean world, it would be incredibly difficult for humanity to detect it, and even harder for them to contact us. In fact, even venturing to the surface of their own planet would be an incredibly difficult task, and as Stern notes, doing so would essentially be the equivalent of mankind venturing into space — a mysterious, frigid, and dangerous place.
It’s obviously very difficult for us to imagine an entire civilization of intelligent creatures living deep within the ocean, but our understanding of the requirements for life mean that it’s entirely possible. The only question is whether or not it exists somewhere out there in the vast number of unexplored worlds.

Psychologists explained the impossibility of contact with extraterrestrial civilizations
Psychologists at the University of Cadiz in Spain have come to the conclusion that mankind can not recognize signals from alien civilizations, since the latter can use communication on unknown physical principles. Scientists also criticize researchers involved in the SETI project, because they are focused only on the search for radio signals. The article of scientists is published in the Acta Astronautica journal.
Experts believe that mankind can not detect extraterrestrial intelligence because of the analogue of the blindness of inattention. This psychological phenomenon is the inability to discern an object that has fallen into the field of view, because of the presence of other objects on which human attention is concentrated. In the opinion of the authors of the article, instead of looking for other possible communication channels, the scientists involved in the SETI project are concentrating on the registration of extraterrestrial radio signals.
In support of their point of view, psychologists conducted a cognitive test involving 137 volunteers, which consisted of several parts. The first was a test for cognitive reflection, which consists in assessing a person's ability to correctly solve a problem, a quick intuitive response to which is incorrect. After that, participants were given aerial photographs of artificial and natural objects. In one of the pictures was inserted a small image of a man in a gorilla costume (a hint of a famous experiment with an invisible gorilla).
It turned out that those who are inclined to impulsive behavior and were in a hurry to give the wrong answer, were more likely to notice the gorilla in the pictures. At the same time, people with an analytical mindset are more prone to a "blindness of inattention". Such results, according to psychologists, suggest that scientists may not notice other evidence of the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations.
In addition, psychologists criticized the Kardashev scale, used to assess the technological development of a hypothetical civilization based on the amount of energy consumed by it. Thus, the civilizations of the first type use all available resources on their native planet, the second type - the energy of the star, and the third type - of the entire galaxy. Scientists offer an alternative scale based on the ability to change environmental conditions.
In their opinion, humanity is in a transition stage from the first to the second type. It remains dependent on the Earth's natural conditions, vulnerable to global catastrophes and is influenced by biological evolution. At the same time, people are relatively close to becoming cosmic colonists and enjoying the achievements of genetic engineering and nuclear physics, while the third type of civilization is super-developed and capable of manipulating space-time, dark matter and dark energy. Thus, the search for radio signals makes it possible to find only the first type of civilization.

There is no topic more controversial, misunderstood, and distorted in UFOlogy than that of governmental UFO Disclosure. Millions of people worldwide wait with baited breath.
It is the strongly held belief that many UFO true believers have that the U.S. Government knows more about aliens on Earth than they have officially admitted. A highly coordinated and sophisticated conspiracy of silence and plausible deniability that has been leaking through the veiled shadows of half-truths and deception for almost 80 years. Essentially a highly coordinated screw you to the citizens of this pale blue dot. The knowing suppression of the information that we are not alone in the Universe. Acknowledgement that the spark of life happened somewhere else besides here. Arguably this would be the greatest discovery of all time. A great many foundation stones would be changed at light speed in our collective accepted reality.
At least that is what is commonly believed…
YOU must use that four pound mass of grey matter in your skull. YOU must think about this. The true reality of the situation is not going to come to you from the myriad sources of uneducated adulterated fraudsters that claim to have all the answers to the UFO enigma. Social Media and TV personalities are not motivated by the quest for truth but are motivated by money and attention. On Facebook, for example, 98% of all UFO information posted is insane in the extreme. These absolutely pathetic click-baiters are absolute intellectual bottom feeders (you know who you are).
In a way, I am grateful to these intellectual Luddites. Without all the bat-shit crazy UFO information being spewed to the digital winds, I would never have created “The Angry UFOlogist”. I get so pissed off at what passes for UFO news these days.
I am a firm believer in other life in the Universe. My family and I had a daylight up close UFO sighting in the fall of 2012. All three of us witnessed a large black triangle UFO at no more than 50 meters away. Up to that moment, I was solely a sceptic of ufos. My eyes were gleefully opened to this extended reality. I and my family saw it with our own eyes. I have burned excessive clock cycles analyzing what I witnessed. I have no answer to what it was other than an unidentified flying object. My instinct and education in the sciences know that humans do not have that kind of technology. This thing was the size of small one-story house. It was moving slowly, maybe 5-10 kilometres/hr. It floated by. I say floated because that is what it did. We saw it up close for two maybe two and a half minutes. What was very obvious was that whatever it was it had Mass cancelling technology. Whoever or whatever made this was a master of the gravitational force. When it floated by its movement had slight perturbations caused by the wind on the highway where this occurred. There was a slight bouncy horizontal movement like a balloon would have if it was travelling horizontally. This slight wind had enough force to cause this bumpiness in its movement. It corresponded to the timing of the gusts of winds that happened. There is only one phenomenon that I know of that could cause this…it had a very low mass.
The LHC is the absolute pinnacle of particle physics research on the planet. Us primitive humans are by no stretch of imagination masters of gravity and its constituent components. I can say that with a high level of confidence. The absolutely brilliant men and women of CERN and the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) have just recently found through billions of dollars investment the elusive Higgs Boson. The Higgs Boson and its corresponding field is the conveyor of what creates mass in the Universe. Without the Higgs, all that would be is just exotic forms of energy. No matter at all. We are only able to glimpse the Higgs incidentally in nanosecond slices of time. We are just observers of the Higgs, We are not hands on at all. There is no governmental black project (that is so popular with the true believer crowd) that is more advanced than the LHC. No evidence exists anywhere that would support an advance particle understanding from some dark super high power top secret particle accelerator that was around 60 years ago, which is approximately the length of time some people believe that we have had this technology. True mastery of gravity is NOWHERE near us in the future. The jump from burning highly purified fossil fuels to controlling the fundamental forces of the Universe is more immense than most may realize. It would not surprise me if it takes us 1000 years of continual scientific advancement to get there… if ever. Oceans of theoretical and practical sciences must be crossed and mastered to create anything like what we witnessed that amazing afternoon. Many, many, credible witnesses have reported craft with similar flight characteristics.
The whole disclosure subject is assuredly more bizarre and infinitely stranger than what is popularly envisioned. To have the perspective to understand this there are a few important concepts to explore before we can have an accurate big picture view.
We have to contemplate the nature of a life form that has evolved on a completely separate planet. Even that statement is intellectually limiting. Life may be able to evolve on moons, nebula, or planets that are totally different in characteristics than our own pale blue dot. They may exist and function on different time scales then us based on the gravity that they evolved in. Special relativity makes for very strange bedfellows. It is possible that they could be here already just beyond our perceptual ability. There truly are more things in heaven and earth than is dreamed in our collective philosophy.
It is intellectual ignorance to think the genetic nucleotides A.G.C.T. are the only alphabet letters of life. Assuredly the letters, language, and syntax of life will be unknown to us. Truly alien. That is what would be expected by a creature that has a total independent evolution than our own. They are NOT going to be mutated form us, they are going to be wondrous and terrifying in their difference.
But that is not what we are seeing in UFOlogy. The overwhelming consensus of alien reports in the media and in first-hand accounts predominantly highlight humanoid type aliens. Aliens that are structurally similar to our construction is what is usually reported. They may be grey, blue, green, scaled, tall or short, but a humanoid nonetheless. If that is a reflection of reality it has serious terrifying overtones for all of us.
Consider that on our planet our human physical form is the same one that we share with the great apes. Humans and the other great apes only account for less than a dozen different types of species. We share the humanoid form with our closest primate brothers but that is essentially it. Interestingly Mother Earth has an estimated 8.7 million species with still up to 80% still to be found according to Nature magazine. So the percentage of life forms on Earth that are humanoid in form only accounts for 0.0000003793% of all known life. By any measure and consideration that is an impossibly small number. So the conclusion to draw here is that the humanoid form is exceedingly rare even on Earth. Logical conclusion.
So what really is the odds that an alien race would evolve on a different planet than us, find us in the vastness of space, in this sliver of time, and look anything like us? It would be a probability that so infinitesimally small that it would be in the ballpark of a googolplex raised to the power of a googolplex to one. That is a number a thousand orders of magnitude larger than the total amount of elementary particles (2.5 x 10^89) in the entire Universe. Just think about that for a moment.
At this point, we have to make an assumption. An assumption we are going to assume throughout this article. The assumption is that the humanoid reflection of alien reality visiting earth is the correct one.
Since parallel evolution is so unlikely to occur we have to then attempt to find the common thread that connects through oceans of improbability. There has to be a connection of some kind that connects us and them. One good hypothesis is that of Panspermia. The seeds of life arrived on the cosmic winds. Asteroids or comets seed the environment they pass. If we and aliens were seeded in this manner, and we have base genetic codes in common does not really guarantee any particular result. It took us from the earliest tide pools to what you see in the mirror in the morning approximately 4 billion years.
That general time frame would be required for the aliens as well if they are like us. That is an immense time for the divergence and specialization of life. There is no guarantee that even if the initial seed was the same that after 4 billion or so years of separate evolution a greatly different creature might evolve. This theory only holds for life in our galaxy anyway. There is no way asteroid or comets can span the intergalactic distances that would be required for cross galaxy seeding.
So the Panspermia theory is not likely to be the correct one if we and aliens look alike. If the cause of our similarity is not a passive one such as seeding we are forced to consider the only other possibility which is an active cause. This active cause may be the true heart of the reason for 80 years of silence. Something either made us or modified us.
We are the ultimate GMO. If this is true our human saga is not going to end well for us.
Everything we thought we were is a lie. Our life is not our own. Either by barnyard or laboratory intentions we are a product, not people. If this line of deduction is correct (I hope it is not) it fits a significant part of UFOlogy canon.
The well-documented phenomena of alien abductions fit in perfectly with the perspective of dealing with a product. The fact that they have not announced their intentions and have conducted their horrors in the shadows screams either hostility or indifference. Both will look the same to us. The only way that this would be beneficial for us is if they respected us as living beings. Very unlikely they would do that. When was the last time you respected the inalienable rights of an insect? The stealthy nature of these silent thieves precludes the hope that these are the “Love and Light” kind of aliens popular in UFOlogy. Thieves work under the cover of darkness. Mutual dealing thrives in the honesty of the light of day.
It seems like they do not want to contaminate what we are doing down here, at least directly. Whatever we are or are doing as a culture is of interest to them. The hard fact is that they designed it be so. What is the purpose of the human commodity? Have unfortunate victims of alien abductions found out first hand? When considering the phenomena in an entirety there is NO end result that empowers us.
If the ET’s have communicated with the world governments and brought them up to speed on the situation we are in. Knowing that we are a product and not free people, can you blame them for the suppression. How can such hope robbing and mind-shattering bad news help people? It wouldn’t. It would be like dropping a neutron bomb on the planet. Just ponder the impact of such a revelation in the world, especially knowing we can’t-do anything about it at all. We are helpless. Helpless by design. It would destroy us. It would rob the hope from the scientific and the religious alike. A very large portion of our society believes in some form of God. Billions of people worldwide are of faith. A faith that exalts them with promises of nirvana and infinity. To fall from such a heralded height to the reality of being product would not be just damaging but devastating. When hope is lost all is lost… Billions would be gravely affected.
What this line of reasoning does not support are the UFO crash phenomena. Why would they just leave their crashed vessels or whatever they are? It is not logically consistent that they would leave the hardware. Why would they when they are so careful to conceal themselves all this time and live in the shadows. If you dropped your iPhone in an anthill would you not pick it up? Even if it had a cracked screen?
Remember that this grim prediction only comes to fruition if they are like us in form and function. It is this writers opinion that real alien life will conform to the more likely “Unknown and Unexpected” type. A life form we have not dreamed of.
I hope it looks like a nightmare with 7 legs, 100 eyes, and nothing in common with us.
If we look at the possibility that totally unexpected life forms have been visiting earth there may be nothing to disclose about it. The chance that any meaningful communication has ever occurred is infinitesimal, to say the least. The government may have a recovered craft but the odds say that they have little chance of ever understanding it anytime soon. It would be like dropping a quantum computer into the bronze ages and having the expectation to make more of them.
The government does not have any special ET whisperer abilities. They would be deaf and dumb just like the rest of us when faced with true aliens trying to communicate. Governments have released UFO files all over the world. But still, no real information on who they are and why they are here is being released. That is because they don’t know. No one really knows. Credible and reliable support for the unknown alien type being the culprits. Which is good news for us?
I do not think by logical deduction that meaningful disclosure will never occur because either they don’t know or the truth is too horrific and harmful to our populace to ever see the light of day. Either way, true disclosure that is wanted by so many in UFOlogy most likely NEVER happen.
Why do the masses look towards the government for truth in anything? All of them are professional liars and will say whatever serves their best interest. It is the height of hubris to look to professional liars for the truth. Nobody believes anything they say now. Why would it be any different in this case? The turds in suits that we elect have nothing intelligent to say about the true nature of the visitors.
Disclosure has been imminent for over 60 years. No reason to think it will happen within the next thousand.
The real truth of the Universal pantheon of intelligences is not going to come from someone in a business suit… they will be wearing a white lab coat.
