Paul Hellyer, who was a Canadian minister from 1963 to 1967, is now urging world powers to release what he believes to be hidden data on UFOs.
'Much of the media won't touch [the documents]', he said during a keynote speech at the Disclosure Canada Tour at the University of Calgary.

'You just have to keep working away and hope that someday you get a critical mass,' he said, according to a report by CTV.
'[The public] will say, in one way or another, "Mr President or Mr Prime Minister we want the truth and we want it now because it affects our lives."'
Hellyer, 91, first went public with his belief in aliens on Earth in 2005, becoming the first high ranking politician to do so.
He claims that the aliens have 'been visiting our planet for thousands of years' and are unimpressed with how we live.
'We spend too much time fighting each other, we spend too much money on military expenditures and not enough on feeding the poor and looking after the homeless and sick,' he said.

Last year, the former Canadian defence minister declared on Russian TV that aliens are walking among us.
But he said they are refusing to share their advanced technologies until we change our polluting and warring ways.
SOME OF PAUL HELLYER'S MORE OUTLANDISH CLAIMS ON ALIENS
Most aliens come from other star systems, although there are some living on Venus, Mars and Saturn’s moon.
There have been four species of aliens visiting our planet for thousands of years.
There are between two and twelve total species of aliens (although some place the number closer to 80).
Some look just like humans, while others appear more like the creatures portrayed in popular culture.
Most alien species have benevolent intentions toward humanity, although a handful have ulterior motives.
One alien species, known as the 'Tall Whites' is working with the U.S. Air Force in Nevada and has been known to pass for humans in public.
The 'federation' of alien species has vowed not to intervene in human affairs unless they are invited to.
The federation is disappointed in the way humans have treated the planet.
Alien technology is far more advanced, but has given us LED lights, microchips and Kevlar vests.
He told Russia Today's program SophieCo there are 80 different species of extra-terrestrials some of whom 'look just like us and they could walk down the street and you wouldn't know if you walked past one.'
In the bizarre interview, Hellyer made a series of pronouncements about aliens which grew increasingly outlandish and sounded closer to the plot of Star Trek.
'We have a long history of UFOs and of course there has been a lot more activity in the last few decades since we invented the atomic bomb,' he said.
'They are very concerned about that and that we might use it again, because the whole cosmos as a unity, and it affects not just us but other people in the cosmos.
'They are very much afraid that we might be stupid enough to start using atomic weapons again.'
However Hellyer told SophieCo that most of the aliens want to help rather than destroy us.
'I would say that nearly all are benign and benevolent and they do want to help us, there may be one or two species which do not,' he said.
Hellyer believes aliens are responsible for some of our modern technology including the microchip, LED light and Kevlar vest, he said.
He says he has never met an alien, but has seen a UFO near his cabin on Ontario's Lake Muskoka.
Hellyer described several types of aliens including 'Tall Whites' who are working with the U.S. air force in Nevada.-
'They're able to get away with that; they had a couple of their ladies dressed as nuns go into Las Vegas to shop and they weren't detected,' he claimed.
Another group of aliens are called 'Short Greys' who have very slim arms and legs and are about five feet high with large heads.
A third group are called 'Nordic Blondes' and Hellyer said that if you meet one you'd probably say, 'I wonder if she's from Denmark or somewhere.'
Hellyer's claims are likely to fuel conspiracy theorists who often look at Nasa images for evidence of aliens. This image was taken by Mercury-Redstone 1A on December 19, 1960. If you want a definitive answer on the question of whether aliens have visited Earth, would you ask a politician, an astronaut, a philosopher, your neighbor who claims he’s an abductee or a NASA scientist? If you picked that last one but you don’t know any NASA scientists, we bring you Silvano P. Colombano, a computer scientist at NASA Ames Research Center in California who says he believes they’ve already been here … we just didn’t recognize them.
“I simply want to point out the fact that the intelligence we might find and that might choose to find us (if it hasn’t already) might not be at all be produced by carbon based organisms like us.”
In a new paper entitled “New Assumptions to Guide Seti Research,” Professor Colombano posits that extraterrestrials may not fit our conventional wisdom … or even our unconventional wisdom. Beyond being composed of something other than carbon, he proposes that beings who have the ability to travel long distances to get here may have lifespans far longer than ours, so that the ones who left their planet many light years away are the same ones who landed here. Not only that, the idea that they’re about our size (so we can put the benevolent ones on our bikes and punch out the evil ones) may not hold either.
“Our typical life-spans would no longer be a limitation (although even these could be dealt with multi-generational missions or suspended animation), and the size of the ‘explorer’ might be that of an extremely tiny super-intelligent entity.”
Is Colombano just thinking outside of the space box or does he know something about aliens that we don’t? It sounds more like he knows there’s something there and he wants both the scientific community and the general public to work together to get beyond our current assumptions so that we can see them.
“In the very large amount of “noise” in UFO reporting there may be “signals” however small, that indicate some phenomena that cannot be explained or denied. If we adopt a new set of assumptions about what forms of higher intelligence and technology we might find, some of those phenomena might fit specific hypotheses, and we could start some serious enquiry.”
Getting beyond the “noise” – that sounds like what many in the ufology field have been calling for lately. To accomplish this, Colombano believes the scientific community must accept the possibility of interstellar travel and the public must look beyond the “hoaxes, mistaken perceptions or even psychotic events in UFO phenomena.” Psychotic events? Does he have a certain rock star in mind?
While Colombano’s field is SETI, he recommends that his fellow scientists consider “speculative physics” that “stretch possibilities as to the nature of space-time and energy.” He also wants sociologists to speculate on new societies and how they might communicate with us … not to mention how we might communicate with them.
That all sounds great and it’s highly unusual to be coming from a NASA scientist, but in order to keep from getting lumped into pseudoscience or “psychotic events,” we need a catchy slogan that everyone can latch onto and put on a T-shirt to wear at “talk to the aliens” rallies. Colombano has the perfect candidate:
“Find the signal in the noise.”

Djinn have also been described as forms of shadow beings, ghosts, demons, inter-dimensional beings.The most popular explanation seems to be that they are some sort of other-dimensional beings whose dimension of origin occasionally overlaps with ours, which is said to explain their ethereal appearance and fleeting nature. As with most entities there is no logical or scientifically valid explanation. These beings are in violation of generally accepted scientific principles.

In the newly releasedDecember edition of the MUFON Journal, the first detailed analysis of a leaked 47 page Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) document is published, offering the startling conclusion that it is authentic.The DIA documentprovides a broad overview of the official history of extraterrestrial contact with Earth, and credits the beginning of the modern UFO era with the Colorado Springs radio transmissions of Nikola Tesla, which led to extraterrestrials sending interstellar craft to investigate. This culminated in flying saucer crash incidents such as Roswell (1947) and Aztec (1948), and the establishment of formal diplomatic relations with a human looking group of extraterrestrials during the Eisenhower administration.
The MUFON Journal article’s author, Dr. Robert Wood, is the world’s foremost authenticator when it comes to the controversial Majestic Documents. These are leaked documents concerning the activities of Operation Majestic 12, which was formally set up in September 1947 to manage the UFO/extraterrestrial issue. A former aerospace engineer with McDonnell Douglas whose career spanned 43 years, Dr. Wood began his investigation and authentication of the Majestic Documents in 1995 with his son, Ryan.
In his article, which is titled “Forty-Seven Pages From the DIA: Why Should We Care?”, Dr. Wood gives a succinct overview of the 47 pages of the leaked DIA document:
Basically, there are five parts of intellectual content: (1) objective, history and organization of MJ-12; (2) details of the 1947 Roswell crash recovery; (3) details of the 1948 Aztec crash recovery; (4) condensed conversations with the Aztec EBE; and (5) issue of the national security or the risk of cultural upheaval, together with diplomatic and cultural exchanges during the 70s and 80s visiting some of EBE’s worlds.

In the leaked 1989 DIA document, Dr. Wood finds a number of reasons that point to its authenticity and why it is an error to simply dismiss it as many UFO researchers have done to date. His detailed analysis of the typing, spelling mistakes, signatures, patents referenced, individuals mentioned, etc., in the document lead to his conclusion that it was a briefing dictated by a member of the Majestic 12 group to two typists. They typed up the 47 pages, a copy of which was preserved on microfilm by the DIA as Dr. Wood explained:
If one contemplates why there were so many errors made in a document officially recorded on a microfilm, and you pronounce the word or phrase on the left and look at the correct one on the right, usually they sound essentially the same. This would be consistent with the document having been created as a result of taking dictation and having two different typists implement the words on paper…
This would be consistent with MJ-12 (stated in this case to be individual MJ-1) having dictated a one-time entry-level summary for the new person, since one apparently was not available from prior written records at the time of the alleged briefing.
The DIA document’s cover page refers to itself as a “preliminary briefing” created by the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Office of Counter Intelligence, on January 8, 1989. The full title of the briefing package is “Assessment of the Situation/Statement of Position on Unidentified Flying Objects”, and it is addressed to the Office of the President.
The natural assumption to make is that the briefing was intended for President Elect George Bush, the Vice President at the time and winner of the 1988 Presidential election. However, by analyzing the only signature appearing on the DIA document, Dr. Wood concludes the briefing was actually intended for a distinguished astrophysicist at MIT, Dr. Philip Morrison:
This is the only signature on the document, and the first question might be whether it was the entry level person being briefed or the briefer. It seems much more reasonable that it was the person being briefed
Dr. Morrison began his career as a nuclear physicist who worked on the Manhattan Project and then moved his area of expertise to astrophysics to express his disapproval of the nuclear arms race. He became famous for popular books and documentaries dealing with astrophysics, and continued to be a Professor at MIT. In 1987, Dr. Morrison was the host of a six-part miniseries for PBS called “The Ring of Truth” which examined a number of astrophysics topics.
There is important circumstantial evidence that the DIA document was a briefing dictated by the head of Majestic-12 to Dr. Morrison. In his MUFON article, Dr. Wood mentions that Dr. Morrison was on friendly terms with Carl Sagan, who some believe replaced Dr. Robert Menzel as a member of the Majestic-12 Committee upon the latter’s retirement and/or death in December 1976:
Philip Morrison was a very distinguished professor, who was a protégé of Oppenheimer and very likely was “in the know” on security issues, although I have no evidence of this. There is evidence, however, that he was very collegial with Carl Sagan during his career, helping to arrange a [UFO] symposium at the conclusion of the Colorado study in Boston.
Menzel had been named as MJ-10 on the Eisenhower Briefing document. In his book, Top Secret/MAJIC, veteran UFO researcher Stanton Friedman provided detailed evidence that Dr. Menzel was indeed a member of the Majestic 12 Committee, even though he wrote several books debunking the UFO phenomenon.
He is best known for his popular astronomy books such as Field Guide to the Stars and Planets(1964). Either prior to or shortly after Menzel’s death, the Majestic 12 Committee was looking for an astronomer/astrophysicist that could replace him. The replacement would have to have a firm scientific grounding in astronomy/astrophysics, broad public outreach, and have received Menzel’s recommendation prior to his death.
Dr. Sagan fit the bill with his scientific pedigree while a Fellow at Berkeley University when his work on NASA missions to Venus and Mars received widespread scientific recognition. Most importantly, his scientific work came to the attention of Dr. Menzel, who arranged for Sagan to be given an Assistant Professor position at Harvard University (1963-1968). Sagan moved to Cornell University, after he was denied tenure at Harvard, ironically due to the growing popularity of his generalist approach to science. Nevertheless, Menzel remained a firm supporter of Sagan.
Sagan achieved celebrity status through his popular books and documentaries, including his award winning Cosmos which aired on PBS in 1980 and was seen by 500 million people across 60 countries. If a position was reserved on the Majestic 12 Committee for a leading astronomer/astrophysicist with outreach to a global audience through popular books and television documentaries, and the approval of the previous position holder, then Sagan was the natural replacement for Menzel.
Similarly, by January 1989, when the Majestic 12 Group was looking for a replacement or an alternate to Dr. Sagan, due to impending retirement (he had likely been in the position since at least 1976) or some other reason (Sagan died on December 20, 1996), Dr. Morrison was a solid choice given his scientific pedigree, broad public outreach, and prior friendly relationship with Sagan. This is important circumstantial evidence in support of the authenticity of the DIA briefing document.
Also, the fact that the 1989 document was merely a briefing dictated by the head of the Majestic 12 Group for a new member taking up Dr. Sagan’s position, meant that not that much in the way of resources would have gone into preparing the briefing document.
The ad hoc nature in which the document was assembled, helps explain the notable security marking inconsistencies, spelling errors, cut and pasting of different documents together, etc., as many critics have pointed out.
In his MUFON article, Dr. Wood concludes in favor for the authenticity of the leaked 1989 DIA document with a number of compelling reasons despite its multiple errors. By identifying Dr. Morrison as the recipient of the briefing, rather than Vice President (President-Elect) Bush, Dr. Wood has provided the means of corroborating the document’s authenticity. Was Dr. Morrison being briefed as Dr. Sagan’s replacement on the MJ-12 Committee due to the latter’s retirement as a result of coming up to some kind of term limit due to his 13 years or more service as MJ-10?
As I mentioned in previous articles supporting the authenticity of the DIA document, its contents contain a wealth of information on topics such as the 1948 Aztec UFO crash; diplomatic relations between the Eisenhower administration and alien life; the role of Nikola Tesla in starting the modern UFO era; and the fact that human looking extraterrestrial are friendly and have been secretly living among humanity for decades.
Dr. Wood has performed a very valuable public service in authenticating the 1989 DIA document, opening the door to further close study of its rich contents and significant exopolitical implications.

According to a very controversial theory during the era of the Soviet Union, there was a peculiar submarine activity in Russia that involved a hidden underwater extraterrestrial civilization. Apparently, the Russian officials decided to keep these issues as a top-secret. However, two researchers, Paul Stonehill and Phillip Mantle have determined to put two and two together and finally resolve the mystery.
As a subject of their inquiry, these two researchers took the secrecy that revolves around an underwater extraterrestrial civilization that was allegedly confirmed by a large number of witnesses.
Stonehill and Mantle connected the peculiar events to some passenger aircraft produced by underwater UFO movements.
Then again, eyewitnesses have reported seeing unusual creatures and objects in the sea. Among the most fascinating accounts is the one of Major General V. Demyanenko, a Russian navy commander. According to him, he and his divers detected a type of humanoid aliens who were famous as the ‘swimmers’.
Supposedly, these three-meters-high beings appeared from an underwater tunnel in the Russian territory of Siberia. They also had silver uniforms and round helmets.
Despite the attempts of capturing one of the creatures, the divers failed because all of the creatures protected themselves with a very strong power.
The two researchers also investigated the story of the head of the intelligence department of Russia on a fleet of the Pacific. Namely, Admiral Domislovsky reported seeing a 900 meters long object in the ocean. Stonehill and Mantle further investigated many reports by other ex-military commanders. All of them involved an alleged underwater extraterrestrial civilization within the infamous Bermuda Triangle.
Mantle stated this is not the first time he has heard stories about a supernatural activity surrounding the Atlantic Ocean.
However, the theory which explains the weird occurrences around the Bermuda Triangle is often dismissed by the official domain. Why? We still don’t know.

A top aerospace Area 51 scientist who died this summer blew the whistle of multiple unbelievable details. According to him, UFOs are real and as a matter of fact, the people who now work in the US government are the aliens that traveled back here in their flying saucers. Boyd Bushman is a scientist who worked for Lockheed-Martin, Hughes Aircraft and many other famous companies. His career is as long as 40 years and his prominence relies on many awards he won within the years.
Other reports even attribute him to developing the Stinger missile, the shoulder-fired surface-to-air missile which was part of multiple conflicts in the past 30 years.
Although Bushman died the last August. However, while on his deathbed, he presented an eerie interview which went viral on YouTube with over 1 million views.
The notoriety of the video shouldn’t surprise you at all. Basically, all the things he talks about have a speculative yet mysterious nature which can easily attract the human mind.
In the video, Bushman tells his story of being a top-secret worker. His duty was to ‘reverse engineer’ UFO technology for employment by the United States military. However, the claims he states reach even a much more radical level.
Bushman also demonstrates numerous photos of UFOs and aliens who died in the infamous Area 51 military base in Nevada desert.
Area 51 was established in 1955 to be a trial territory for the most classified project of that time, the U2 spy plane. Ever since then, this place remained to be one of the most cloak-and-dagger military investigation plants.
Given the secretive nature of the technology behind the walls of Area 51, this base has undergone a series of conspiracies. Mostly, the theories incorporate UFOs and otherworldly beings as captives that rest in this area.
From time to time, new people who claim to know hidden data from the area emerge to tell incredible stories. These accounts often involve details of UFO research projects that are occurring in this facility.
Many of the insiders don’t have a confirmed trustworthiness. But, in comparison, Bushman’s disclosures seem to offer a larger credibility because he came forward a little before he died.
One of his assertions was that the aliens inside Area 51 came from a planet known as Quintumnia. Furthermore, he said they have an incredible technology system which allows them to arrive here in only 45 days.
He described their flying saucers measure around 38 feet across. But, most likely, the most shocking claim was that 18 of the aliens are 250 years old and work for the U.S. government.
Is Bushman telling the truth that will change the viewpoint of humankind? Or he was just an old person who lost his mind or wanted to gain fame? Watch the bizarre interview and tell us your opinion.

A few years back, archeologists discovered pre-historic paintings dated back to 10,000 years that depicted aliens and unidentified flying objects (UFO). These rock paintings discovered in Charama, India soon became a hot topic among extraterrestrial buffs, and many people considered it an authentic proof of alien existence.
Humans knew what was happening on space
Now, a team of researchers at the University of Edinburgh has spotted another set of ancient cave paintings which made many experts believe that early humans were aware of astronomy. The cave paintings supposedly more than 40,000 years old were discovered at various sites across Europe, and they suggest that ancient humans used to keep track of time using the knowledge of how the position of the stars slowly changes over thousands of years.
Researchers who took part in this study revealed that symbols depicted in the caves are actually constellations, and they were used to represent dates and mark catastrophic events like asteroid hits. If the speculations of these researchers are right, ancient people were well aware of the effects which happen on earth due to its gradual shift of rotational axis.
"Early cave art shows that people had advanced knowledge of the night sky within the last ice age. Intellectually, they were hardly any different to us today. These findings support a theory of multiple comet impacts over the course of human development, and will probably revolutionize how prehistoric populations are seen," said Martin Sweatman, a researcher at the University of Edinburgh and the lead author of the study, Eurekalert.org reports.

Global governments and intelligence agencies around the world have released hundreds of thousands of pages of documents pertaining to the UFO phenomenon over the past few years. These files indicate that objects are commonly tracked on radar and pursued by our own military craft, which are then sent out to take a closer look. The files also reveal there have been sightings of strange objects travelling at tremendous speeds and performing maneuvers that no known aircraft is capable of performing.
These types of UFOs might now be officially verified within the mainstream, but they’ve been seen, photographed, and recorded by credible witnesses for decades. For example,here’s a document (straight from the CIA’s FOIA Electronic Reading Room) pertaining to “a group of red, green, and yellow flying saucers” that were seen “hovering” over multiple military bases in Antarctica.Here’sanother detailing how, when intercepters approached the object, pilots lost “all instrumentation and communications.” Here’sa great interview (and there’s no shortage of them) with navy commander pilot Graham Bethune, who describes another extraordinary in-flight encounter.
These objects are thought to be extraterrestrial in origin, not only because of their technological superiority, but also because many high-ranking political and military insiders, along with prestigious academics, have shared information they’ve been privy to regarding actual intelligent extraterrestrial beings visiting our planet. There could be several different groups doing so at the present moment. It may sound far-fetched, but as we move through 2017 and beyond, bits of truth will continue to leak out, and the “official campaign of secrecy and ridicule” that Roscoe Hillenkoetter described to the New York Times in 1960 may come to an end.
That being said, once this box is opened, everything will change. It will have tremendous implications for humanity — philosophically, scientifically, and technologically. Our world would change forever.
The Document
It shouldn’t really come as a surprise that the CIA and other U.S. intelligence agencies were keeping tabs on other countries. We know spying happens all the time, and other governments probably did the same to North American governments as well.
The UFO issue has obviously been of extreme interest to these agencies, given the scale of resources put toward investigating it. One document within the CIA archives also shows that they were interested in reports of actual extraterrestrial bodies.
For example, here is one that was addressed to “certain scientists of distinction,” to “aeronautical and military authorities,” and to “a number of public officials.” The document, stored in the FBI database, shows interest in a letter written by someone with “several university degrees” and a former “university department head.” It provides information, (on pages 21 and 22) about extraterrestrial beings, their craft, how they operate, and where they come from.
Again, the question to ask here is, why were intelligence agencies so interested in this? They continue to investigate any reports of extraterrestrial bodies, and I have to wonder if it’s because they’ve had secrets of their own. Is it because, as Apollo 14 astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell once put it so bluntly, “there have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered”?
When you study ufology, you come across all sorts of stories, and one interesting thing these stories seem to share is that “they” (whoever is operating these crafts) are not interested in confrontation.
For example, in a (well-known) document released via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Four-Star General Nathan Twinning wrote that the “phenomenon reported is something real and not visionary or fictitious” and that “the reported operating characteristics such as extreme rates of climb, maneuverability (particularly in roll), and action which must be considered evasive when sighted or contacted by friendly air-craft and radar, lend belief to the possibility that some of the objects are controlled either manually, automatically or remotely.”
The key word there is “evasive.” This point was also made a few years ago by former Canadian Defence Minister Paul Hellyer, who stated that, “Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about where we were headed and offered to help. But Instead, we, or at least some of us, interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after.” In that same speech, he also mentions the fact that, as a result of our own displays of aggression, the UFOs started to take “corrective measures to avoid our air-craft,” and that some pilots actually lost their lives as a result of retaliation.
The KGB Incident
Which brings us to a document, stored in the CIA archives, that describes how Mikhail Gorbachev — who, by the way, once publicly stated that “the phenomenon of UFOs does exist, and it must be treated seriously” — was “dissolved.”
It’s a document keeping tabs on a report a media outlet put out, which again, clearly shows a high level of interest from them.
It states that “U.S. intelligence obtained a 250-page file on the attack by a UFO on a military unit in Siberia,” and it goes on to describe something extraordinary:

The Takeaway
Quite remarkable, isn’t it? This isn’t the only story of retaliation with regards to what happens when our agencies encounter a UFO. Yet, in every instance, we are the instigators it seems. Today, UFOs are no longer taboo, most people are well aware of their existence and all of the evidence that’s gone towards verifying that. The new question is whether some of them are extraterrestrial and some of them are not. Stories like this one, and countless others, are the reason why the extraterrestrial hypothesis has so much validity.
One of the greatest questions of our time is “Are we alone?” Are there other lifeforms out there, and if so, will we ever meet them? Or are we truly alone, hurtling through space on this rock that holds the only life in the universe? Considering the incomprehensible vastness of space, and the fact that recent NASA estimates are that there could be as many as 40 billion habitable worlds in our galaxy alone, it seems almost certain that there must be some form of life out there besides ourselves, and some of them might even have the ability to reach out across the stars. Indeed, some estimates have suggested that there could be thousands of space going civilizations. I have already written here before aboutwhy we may not have heard from them yet, as well ashow we might communicate with them, so I won’t delve into that here, but a perhaps even more important question that I want to ask here is “If they are out there do we really want to meet them?” What would happen if we were to meet aliens? Would they be friendly, indifferent, or malevolent? We of course don’t know, but there are ideas.
Assuming that there actually is intelligent life out there, and assuming that they have mastered interplanetary travel, there are several ways that contact could go, which could largely depend on what brought them here and what their goals are, with varying possible scenarios. Let’s imagine for a moment that they intentionally came here, making a trip across the vast, yawning chasm of stars to come to this new land. If this were the case they would obviously have some vested interest in our planet, some reason to come all of that way, so would this be benevolent or malicious? Would they come here in peace, or bring down destruction? Speculation has long run rampant on these questions, and although we don’t really know the answer or how an alien intelligence would think or what their values would be, and it is impossible to know such things, we can still make guesses.
One of the main ideas in this particular scenario is that in the case of an expedition to our world, so to speak, they would likely be specifically interested in us and the life of our world for some reason. After all, it might hurt the ego to know this but in the grand scheme of things other than having life Earth is not really all that special. If aliens wanted natural resources they can find far more of those locked up in asteroids, comets, and moons than on our planet, to the point that these resources are believed to be so plentiful at such places that space mining is already being pursued by us, so why would anyone come light years to come all the way here for the very resources we are looking to mine from off-planet? It doesn’t make sense. The same goes with water, which can be found in abundance in ice on comets, moons, and planetary poles. What we do have is life, so there seems to really be no reason why they would want to come here and traverse that sea of stars unless it was for the expressed purpose of studying us or contacting us, perhaps out of curiosity after picking up the copious radio messages we relentlessly send out to anyone who will listen, and this could go a few different ways.
If they wanted to study us it would be somewhat akin to scientists finding a new continent, some lost world with myriad new species to study, although whether this would translate to benevolence from our point of view is uncertain, just ask all of the animals in jars of formaldehyde or the specimens sent off to be dissected. They could want to preserve us, but what this would involve and whether they would really treat us well is open to debate. There are those who believe that they might be more like peaceful missionaries contacting some new faraway tribe, trying to teach us and learn our ways, or to even welcome us into some intergalactic society, and this is a nice thought. Imagine how much we could learn from them and what an era of peace and prosperity this would bring.
There have been a lot of scientists that support this idea of a benign presence coming to us, arguing that any spacefaring civilization would be hundreds or thousands of years more advanced than us, and so would have by necessity learned to overcome such self-destructive behaviors such as war and murder and to have mastered empathy. One scientist who believes this is Seti’s former director, Jill Tarter, who thinks that such a civilization would have risen above such things and that the very fact that they are advanced enough to come to us means that they would be sophisticated, peaceful, and benevolent. Tarter said of this to Business Insider:
The idea of a civilization which has managed to survive far longer than we have…and the fact that that technology remains an aggressive one, to me, doesn’t make sense. The pressure of long-term survival — of limiting population…I think requires that the evolutionary trends that ratcheted up our intelligence…continues to evolve into something that’s cooperative and take on global scale problems.
In this line of reasoning, aggressiveness and evil are two traits that are not conducive to a species lasting very long, and that they by definition should have overcome them to have reached the stage where they can come here to begin with. Another SETI scientist who shares this sentiment is Dr. Doug Vakoch, who thinks that aliens might have evolved to a certain higher state of enlightenment, and would approach us to give us advice to save ourselves, saying, “We are in very precarious time in our development as a civilization. Our technologies are greater than our social stability. So if we make contact with another civilization that may be more advanced they may have got through the tech bottleneck and may have some advice.”
According to Vakoch it would be a huge mistake not to take the chance to reach out to aliens and bring them here, as the potential benefits for mankind would be enormous. Of course, there is the question of why in the world should they want to help us or teach us? What would they possibly have to gain from this? This is where opinions get decidedly more negative, and not everyone thinks technological progress equals a benign nature, as science fiction writer and marine biologist Peter Watts demonstrated when he pointed out:
If the best toys do end up in the hands of those who’ve never forgotten that life itself is an act of war against intelligent opponents, what does that say about a race whose machines travel between the stars?
Of course, not everyone has a rosy view of alien contact, and there are just as many people, if not more, who firmly believe that extraterrestrial intelligences would almost certainly be malevolent towards us, and could even spell the end of life as we know it. The sinister rationale here is that one need only look at how we humans on earth have exploited resources and other peoples and wiped each other out. In this scenario, aliens would be nefarious, resource hungry, aggressive beings, and here to either enslave us or exterminate us for whatever reasons. If they are anything like us, then the idea is that we should be very worried about meeting them. One of the most well-known proponents of the idea that aliens will be hostile was legendary physicist Stephen Hawking, who famously once said:
If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn’t turn out well for the Native Americans. We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet.

In this opinion, we are making a serious mistake by loudly advertising our presence to other civilizations with our radio messages, and that we should stop doing so immediately. As author and astrobiologist David Grinspoon has said, “If you live in a jungle that might be full of hungry lions, do you jump down from your tree and go, ‘Yoo-hoo?’” According to these often very vocal opponents of programs sending messages to the stars, we have to at the very least come together and actively discuss and debate the issue in order to come to a consensus and understanding of both the benefits and risks. There is no real official governing organization for deciding how to go about giving these messages and what is OK to send, and we are just sort of blindly calling out into space, uncertain of who will pick up on the other end and whether we really want them to. Lucianne Walkowicz, an astrophysicist at the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, has said of our attempts to contact aliens:
There’s a possibility that if we actively message, with the intention of getting the attention of an intelligent civilization, that the civilization we contact would not necessarily have our best interests in mind. On the other hand, there might be great benefits. It could be something that ends life on Earth, and it might be something that accelerates the ability to live quality lives on Earth. We have no way of knowing.
It is all likely too late to do anything about it anyway, as our messages are out there, with no way to pull them back, so we’ll just have to wait and see. This all very interesting, and both sides of the debate have valid points, but all of this is assuming that aliens willingly come here for a specific reason. One aspect that I see discussed far less often is what if they sort of just stumble across us on some other business? What if they are either not tuned into our radio signals or aren’t listening, and then sort of find us by accident? What then? Again, there are several ways this could go, with varying levels of good or bad news for us. What would they do? Would they ignore us and fly right on by? Would they want to study us? Or would they just say, “hey check that out, that’s interesting,” and then squash us like a curious child squashing a weird bug that briefly catches their twisted curiosity?
If aliens should sort of just find us while passing through on some inscrutable errand, it has been argued that the very presence of life here would be enough to catch their attention, but how they would react would differ on why they are passing through and who they were. If they were scientists they might want to study us, but as pointed out before this does not necessarily equate to good news for us. There is also the fact that it is in no way certain that the ones who came across us would be scientists or even all that thrilled to find other lifeforms. They could be miners looking for planets, asteroids, and moons to mine, or something else, and all bets would be off. After all, how many archeological sites have been ruined because loggers found them instead of archeologists? How many species have been wiped out before they were even seen by scientists? If these were “interplanetary loggers” so to speak, then there is a very good chance they might be curious, but would almost certainly not have our best interests in mind, cruelly indifferent at best and destructive at worst. If they passed and actually decided to investigate rather than just ignore us we could be in a lot of trouble.
In the end, we just don’t know how alien contact would go down, and no idea of what the nature or intents of these unearthly visitors might be. We can only speculate and debate it, but we won’t really know until the day comes when they actually descend from the skies to bring either enlightenment or doom. In the meantime, we keep looking and keep blasting our calling card into space, wondering if we are alone or not, and ultimately time will tell whether this was a good idea or not.

THE MARS Curiosity Rover has unearthed images "statues" hidden in the rocks of the Red Planet which NASA has tried to "cover up", according to conspiracy theorists.
Ancient astronaut theorists – who believe aliens visited Earth in prehistoric times – have claimed to have spotted a range of religious icons, including a statue of Buddha and a cross.
Satellite imagery expert Joseph White says the Rover’s images have been tampered with in order to keep these statues from being discovered by the public.
Speaking to the History Channel as part of their Ancient Aliens series, he said: “They [NASA] do so much to destroy these images.
“Basically, what they do is resize them down so that the detail is all lost.”
Author David Childress said: “Certain structures on Mars may be completely related to structures here on Earth.
“On Mars, we have structures that look like pyramids. There are standing stones and Stonehenge-type structures on Mars.”
David also points out a "structure" on Mars which looks like a Sphinx, as well as an object shaped eerily like a sarcophagus.

These pyramid-like mounds follow a similar pattern to the constellation of stars called the Pleiades – a constellation reflected in monuments on Earth.

WHAT IF WE DISCOVERED ALIEN LIFE?
There are around 500 billion planets in the Milky Way alone, and at least 10 billion of them are Earth-like. All these planets, and yet, we’ve discovered exactly zero alien life forms.
But what if we did? What if NASA announced that they found microbes in the oceans of Europa? Or ancient alien ruins on Venus?
What would that mean to our human civilization here on Earth? Would we consider that good news at all?
Aliens? No Aliens?
Since humans began searching for extraterrestrial life within our Solar System in the 1890s, we’re still waiting to encounter an alien life form. But if we did find one, that would be very bad news. Because in that case we might as well be dead.
Obviously, in this case we’re referring to life which comes from a planet other than Earth, not alien residents of other countries. Humans have speculated about alien life for decades, ranging from simple bacteria to advanced species.
Most of our speculation on alien life is based on the simple fact that the universe is huge. How could we be the only life in the galaxy, let alone the universe?
This logic is based on the Copernican principle. Named for the scientist Nicolaus Copernicus, the principle states that the Earth and the Sun are not observers in the universe, nor are they better or worse than every other planet. Everything that applies to other planets applies to Earth… including life.
Scientists have proposed various ‘habitable zones’, where extraterrestrial life could theoretically live. Billions of ‘Earth-like’ planets have been discovered, but very few have been found in one of these zones which meet the criteria for life.
These zones require solvent water, which is a necessity for life on Earth.
So, what if the aliens invaded? It wouldn’t look anything like the alien invasion you might imagine. Nobody would blast their super advanced weapons at us… Hopefully not.
Even if they did, it wouldn’t be that much of a problem. Because by the time we found alien life, we’d already be on our way to self-destruction. All because of the Great Filter. But what kind of filter is capable to kill our entire civilization? And why?
The Great Brita Filter:
Let’s back up a little bit. Basic probability asserts that alien life must exist somewhere in the Universe. If that were the case, wouldn’t we be able to see some signs of life out there? But we don’t. The Universe seems endlessly empty.
It’s this contradiction that has been blowing scientists’ minds ever since they realized that the Universe is very, very big. They called it the Fermi paradox. It also says that all species in the Universe go through the same evolutionary path, no matter where they’re from.
First, the development of life anywhere in the Universe starts with the right star system and a planet that has just the right conditions.
Then organic compounds assemble themselves into self-replicating patterns and eventually evolve into more complex multi-cell organisms. All the way up to the species with the big brain, that eventually take over their own planet and change it according to their needs. Here on Earth, that happens to be us, humans.
Then there’s the last step – space colonization. That could happen for many reasons – overpopulation and the need to spread out to survive, conquest of solar systems one after another, or even simple curiosity. Whatever the reason is, all civilizations will end up trying to colonize space.
Some alien species may have been around for billions of years longer than us. But they still haven’t shown up here on Earth. Looks like something is making it very hard to colonize a galaxy, maybe even impossible. The Great Filter. Yes, the thing that might wipe out all of humanity.
It’s something very dangerous, something that happens to every civilization that is advanced enough to go beyond their planet. One of the steps on everyone’s evolutionary path. Something that takes maybe billions of years to go through.
Having never met life on other planets means that the hypothesized Great Filter didn’t wipe us out. Instead, we might be the first civilization to pass it safely, and the first to reach this level of technology in the entire Universe.
But, just because we haven’t seen them, doesn’t mean they don’t exist, or never existed…. There’s a chance some aggressive alien species might have been on the way to Earth to destroy us all. But since they never showed up on our planet, that means something destroyed their entire civilization before they even reached Earth. The Great Filter?
It doesn’t look we’re going to find anyone as advanced as we are. If there was a more advanced civilization than ours, we’d know it by now. The most we can hope for is bacteria on Mars, or multicellular animals in the oceans of Europa.
Both options would be disturbing, but the worst thing to find would be the ancient ruins of an advanced alien civilization.
Because if they didn’t get past the Great Filter, neither did we. The only difference is that they are long dead, and we are just on our way to self-destruction.
The more complex and advanced the discovered alien life was, the more likely it would mean we’re behind the Great Filter.
Maybe that filter starts once the species take control over their own planet?
AI destroying its creator… Experiments that blow up the whole planet… Genetic engineering gone wrong… Climate change…It could be anything. It might have happened to those dead alien civilizations, and might happen to us, too.
Alien life might sound like the most exciting discovery of our time. However, it may be better for us if the Universe is absolutely sterile, and there are billions of new planets to be discovered and terraformed.

A science fiction author and amateur UFO hunter claims he has got hold of an alien skull.
Li Jianmin, 55, made the astonishing revelation at a seminar in the Chinese capital Beijing.
He said the 'skull' was brown in colour and about 16cm in diameter, according to local media.
Unlike human skulls, the supposed extraterrestrial one had two "different layers", he added.
The other-worldly artifact originally came from a street seller in the Inner Mongolia region and was bought by a private collector.
The buyer was then reading one of Li's sci-fi novels when he came across an illustration of an alien skull which looked remarkably like the one he had just bought.

After the collector got in touch with Li, the UFO enthusiast spent four months examining the find.
He has now produced a 103-page study in a bid to provide evidence that the 'skull' is in fact from outer space.
Li said he had used high-tech scientific methods to test the 'skull'.
He carried out Raman spectroscopy - which creates a "fingerprint" to identify which exact molecules are present in a sample - and atomic force microscopy, a technique which can see things 1000 times smaller than ordinary microscopes.

He then compared his findings with other supposed alien skulls discovered elsewhere in the world.
But when asked by reporters, Li admitted he had not yet done a DNA test, which could prove if the cranium is actually from a creature on Earth.
"Paying for DNA analysis is around 100,000 yuan," he said, which is about £11,200.

The author has been widely mocked on social media for his wild claims, but remains convinced the skull is real.
"I welcome questions and scepticism, but if you decide to challenge me, be sure to bring along evidence," he said.

The mummified remains of a fetus that was either stillborn or died shortly after birth.
Discovered in Chile’s Atacama Desert in 2003, this tiny, 6-inch-long mummy, with its pointed head and atypical number of ribs, stoked theories that aliens have visited Earth. Scientists have had genetic proof that the remains are human since 2013, and a new genetic analysis reveals that mutations in genes related to growth might explain the mummy’s atypical bones.
The results, which have been making headlines, are a reminder that the truth may well be out there — but it isn’t aliens. A series of discoveries this past year make it clear that, sadly, it never is.
1. SAD BUT TRUE
Scientists have struggled to explain why this mummy, known as Ata, is the size of a fetus and yet has bones as developed as those of a six- to eight-year-old child, Science reported in 2013. The new analysis of Ata’s DNA, published last week in the journal Genome Research, reports mutations in seven genes key for human growth.
These mutations could explain why Ata’s bones developed so quickly, Gary Nolan, an immunologist at Stanford University and co-author of the study, told National Geographic. He suspects that the story is much sadder and more human than an extraterrestrial visitation: someone gave birth to a stillborn fetus several decades ago and buried her in the desert. “The alien hype was silly pseudoscience promoted for media attention,” paleoanthropologist and anatomist William Jungers told National Geographic. “This paper puts that nonsense and poor little Ata to bed.”
2. A BIZARRE DEEP SPACE SIGNAL-
In the summer of 2017, astronomers at the Arecibo Observatory picked up a strange radio signal that seemed to be coming from a small red dwarf star called Ross 128. But the source of the signal was a mystery: a solar flare on Ross 128 might have produced it, but the frequency of the radio waves didn’t quite fit that theory. Could it have been a deep space call for ET? No such luck. The astronomers discovered a week later that the signal originated much closer to home — most likely from satellites in high geostationary orbit in the same part of the sky as Ross 128.

3. JUST DUST
The wild flickerings of star KIC 8462852, also known as Tabby’s star, suggest that something occasionally passes in front of it and blocks out as much as 20 percent of its light. The flickerings have no clear pattern, and whatever is blocking the star’s light probably isn’t a celestial body like a planet. Some have suggested alien megastructures or some sort of extraterrestrial solar panel might be passing in front of the star instead.
But in January 2018, a team of astronomers reported that something much more ordinary is probably to blame for the star’s unusual behavior: a bunch of dust could be surrounding the star and filtering its light. “Weird stars that have dust coming from somewhere isn’t as much of a headline grabber,” Jason Wright, an astronomer at Penn State University and one of the study’s authors, told The Verge’s Loren Grush at the time. But there’s still some mystery left: we don’t know where exactly the dust is coming from.

4. THE GREAT PYRAMID’S GIANT VOID
In November 2017, scientists reported the discovery of a vast empty cavity inside the Great Pyramid at Giza. Using a kind of souped-up X-ray, an international team of researchers tracked subatomic particles called muons that plummet to Earth at nearly the speed of light. Since muons can pass through the air more easily than they can travel through dense stone, the researchers were able to discover previously unknown cracks and cavities — like the 100-foot-long cavern they called the “Big Void.”
The researchers still don’t know the precise shape of the cavity or why it’s there, but study co-author Mehdi Tayoubi said in a press briefing that they suspect that this cavity was built on purpose (by humans). Because, friends: it’s never aliens.

The protagonist of the video is Robert Miller. He worked in Area 51, he is famous for his alleged UFO research, and that he was recruited by the US government.
He piloted an alien ship with only his mind and with the ship he also traveled in time.
It is hard to believe him. We know. But he also claims that he films the video because he somehow feels the responsibility to reveal the truth about how the evidence of extraterrestrial life systematically hides us at the Groom Lake facility. That’s why Miller decided to tell his story in the first person.
IN HIS HANDLING OF THE SHIP, HE DETAILS: “I remember being taken inside a boat and in the pilot’s seat. There was only room for one person in the giant boat. I looked around the cabin and saw only one seat. No joystick, no steering wheel, no other controls.
However, there was a helmet. They told me that the ship controlled itself telepathically. They told me to imagine that the ship was beginning to float on the ground, but it did not work.
I had to imagine that I was the boat, as part of it, and I began to think of myself floating. ”
REALLY AMAZING Especially because he explains that after the experience he fainted and could have traveled in time. In his own words: “(The ship) was falling to the ground and I was unconscious.
The next thing I knew, I was in the hospital. A man in a black suit came in and explained what happened. He said that just before.
The ship touched the ground, it simply disappeared, exploded, disappeared. Then, in the middle of the night, they heard a loud noise outside and the ship crashed in the same place.
The scientists hypothesized that the ship had traveled in time. Have you seen the video?
Is it possible that they are hiding what is happening outside our planet so blatantly? For us, it is about believing or revealing.

Millions of people from around the world claim to have been abducted by extraterrestrials.
The typical testimony from abductees describes how they are taken from their beds, homes, cars, and other locations and transported to spaceships manned by small grey aliens with oversized black, slanted eyes.
Memories of the abduction include being unable to move, hearing buzzing sounds, electrical sensations and difficulty breathing due to pressure on the chest.
In Netflix documentary Top 10 Secrets and Mysteries narrator Robert Russell said: “In analysing the statements of people who claim to have encountered or been abducted by aliens, there are similarities.
“There’s the UFO sighting, then an intense ray of light and a crackling sound, followed by paralysis of the contact or abductee while remaining fully conscious.”
However, some experts offer a different explanation for the alien abduction phenomenon: sleep paralysis.
Sleep paralysis is a known, documented condition which is when someone consciously awakens from sleep during the night but their body is completely immobilised.
In a typical sleep-paralysis episode, a person wakes up paralysed, with senses a presence in the room. They feel fear or even terror and may hear buzzing and humming noises, or see strange lights.

A visible or invisible entity is even felt on their chest, shaking, strangling or prodding them.
Attempts to fight the paralysis are usually unsuccessful.
The phenomenon is experienced by millions of people, even larger numbers than polls conducted asking about alien abduction experiences.
Aspects of the experience reported by those who have had a sleep paralysis experience overlap considerably with those of alien abduction.
This theory would not argue that all abductions are because of sleep paralysis but may go some way to explaining some accounts.

Salyut 6, DOS-5, was a Soviet orbital space station, the eighth flown as part of the Salyut programme. Launched on 29 September 1977 by a Proton rocket, the station was the first of the “second-generation” type of space station.
On June 18, 1981, Gosplan called for an extraordinary conference, with the presence of UFO experts, cosmonauts and Soviet authorities, including military officers.
Its moderator was the chief of the Soviet Space Program, General Georgi Timofeevict Beregovoy. Beside him was Vladimir Kovalyonok [Kovalenok], the cosmonaut who, along with Viktor Savinikh[Savinykh], stayed 77 days in space, aboard the Salyut-6 station. … The revelation they made was to shock the world.
It’s quite simply the story of a close encounter of the second kind – which didn’t go the third kind because mission control ordered: NYET. Salyut-6 made contact with an alien spaceship for 4 days (with interruptions) and together they orbited Earth.
The event involved five astronauts: Kovalyonok, Savinikh and three aliens aboard an unknown vehicle that had the shape of a sphere.”
It’s an Amazing Story. The tale describe how the cosmonauts managed to contact the extraterrestrial intelligences, first by a failed attempt flashing a light in Morse code, but eventually succeeding with an alleged mathematical message. There is also the physical description of the aliens, essentially human beings, or “similar to human beings”:
“They used light helmets, such as tight hoods. … They had thick and long eyebrows and straight noses, like those of Greek statues. What most impressed the cosmonauts were the eyes – large and blue, twice as large as ours – fixed on them, without a trace of emotion. Their traces were handsome, very dark. They reminded of solemn Hindu men. But no muscle moved on their faces. They looked like robots.”
It’s even more amazing because, according to the story, the contact was fully recorded in many photographs and a long film footage, which was shown in the Gosplan conference and even today must be kept highly secret in some Russian vault.
