NASA Has Just Discovered Pluto Has A Giant Tail! Wowsers!

NASA and the team behind its New Horizons spacecraft announced today that Pluto — the dwarf planet — has a giant tail.
It’s not a physical tail like a dog’s, of course, but rather a frigid cloud of ionized gases trailing an estimated 48,000 to 68,000 miles behind Pluto, according to a NASA press release.
This giant tail is actually part of Pluto’s atmosphere. Except that the bits of atmosphere are being stripped away by solar wind, a torrent of electrically charged particles that constantly pours out of the sun in all directions.
“We see the atmosphere way far out,” Randy Gladstone, a New Horizons coinvestigator at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, said during a NASA press conference on Friday. “We see it from the ground out to 1,000 miles above the surface.”
Because Pluto is such a tiny planet — it’s a fraction of a percent as massive as the Earth — its atmosphere escapes directly into space, Gladstone said.
Gladstone and others discovered the tail after examining data from the Solar Wind Around Pluto (SWAP) instrument on the New Horizons spacecraft. The device found an anomaly in the solar wind around the dwarf planet: A depression composed of nitrogen ions. This depression is the tail, and it extends an unknown length behind the planet.
“We have actually flown through this [tail],” Fran Bagenal, a New Horizons coinvestigator from the University of Colorado at Boulder, said during the press conference.
Ionized gas forms when a bunch of energy pummels atmospheric atoms and molecules. This bombardment pops electrons off the atmospheric gas particles, allowing their electrons to freely circulate. The end result is plasma: A fourth state of matter after solids, liquids, and gases.
As far as we know, plasma is the most common state of matter in the universe. There’s simply a lot of energy pouring out of stars, and a lot of gas in space to form plasma. So while it might seem surprising, plasma tails like Pluto’s aren’t new. They even exist behind other planets in the solar system, including Venus and Mars.
The team still hasn’t determined the precise shape of Pluto’s newly discovered tail. They also don’t know exactly how the was formed.
So NASA is anxiously waiting for New Horizons to beam back more data. By August the team hopes to calculate how fast Pluto is losing its atmosphere to space — and, likewise, how quickly the icy world is shrinking.
Ufology is full of whistleblowers. There’s the one who worked on the alien spaceship at Area 51, the one who was involved in a gunfight with extraterrestrials, the one who rescued an alien and was able to send him back home, and the one who went on an exchange trip to an alien planet. Then there’s the one who did an interview in a hotel room, and the one who did an interview in a darkened room, so as to disguise his identity. Oh, and let’s not forget the one who was assassinated by the government. Ufology is full of whistleblowers, right? Wrong! Ufology is not full of whistleblowers. Ufology is full of bogus whistleblowers.
At first sight, this may strike some people as being overly-harsh. You might be thinking about leaked government UFO documents that you’ve read, and recalling UFO documentaries or conferences where some of these whistleblowers have appeared. Surely, you might say, a fair proportion of what we know about UFOs comes from various courageous whistleblowers who have taken the decision to violate their secrecy oaths, because they believe they have a higher moral responsibility to the truth. The people have a right to know, as the saying goes. It all sounds great in theory, but the truth is somewhat different, and can be easily demonstrated with a bit of critical thinking.
Ask yourself what happens – outside the field of ufology – to people who leak highly classified information. I’m not talking about traitors who pass classified information to foreign powers, but people who have made such information public, citing the public’s right to know. Some well-known names spring to mind: Former CIA employee Edward Snowden and US Army intelligence specialist Chelsea Manning are two such people. In the UK, ex-MI5 officer David Shayler and former MI6 employee Richard Tomlinson are good examples. There are others. Now, ask yourself, what did the government do in all of those cases? The answer is this: they went after the individuals concerned, proactively, aggressively and relentlessly, using the full resources available to them. And no, I don’t mean they tried to kill them, I mean that where the state was able to do so, the full weight of the criminal justice system (police, prosecutors, courts, etc.) was brought to bear upon them. In real life, that’s what happens to people who leak classified information. So why doesn’t this happen with ufology’s whistleblowers? Why would the government leave such people alone?
The answer is obvious. Ufology’s so-called whistleblowers aren’t leaking classified information at all. They’re making up stories. If any of these people were genuinely leaking classified information they’d be arrested in an instant. I know this not because of my time on the MoD’s UFO project, but because of a later job that I did in the Directorate of Defence Security, where I had some peripheral involvement with Official Secrets Act cases. That, along with my 21 years in a government department where top secret information is commonplace, taught me a lot about the reality of how allegations of security breaches are handled.
Incidentally, at risk of being labelled a government lackey, I don’t approve of whistleblowers anyway, even genuine ones. That’s because such people leak information after deciding that they know better than anyone else whether or not something should be released. However, what I’ve learned from my own work on classified information is that the information owner – usually the subject matter expert – is best-placed to make judgements on whether or not something can safely be declassified. So it’s a mistake for someone else to see such documents pass across their desk and, without knowing the full story, decide for themselves that something should be public knowledge. It’s arrogant and ignorant. That’s not to say that there’s no place for responsible whistleblowing in a free, open and democratic society, but that’s a discussion for another day.
Returning to UFOs and whistleblowing, what of the verifiable government and military personnel who have spoken out about UFOs? People like Edward Ruppelt, Dr. J. Allen Hynek, myself, Dr. John Alexander, Charles Halt, John Burroughs, Jim Penniston and others? The key point is, they’re not whistleblowers. Such people fall into two categories. Witnesses such as Halt, Burroughs and Penniston are simply describing experiences they’ve had. Unless someone specifically instructed them not to talk about things, they aren’t divulging classified information by describing what they saw and experienced. When I collaborated with Burroughs and Penniston on the bestselling book “Encounter in Rendlesham Forest”, the manuscript was pre-submitted to both the UK MoD and the US DOD, because we treat our respective secrecy oaths seriously. When Charles Halt is asked about nuclear issues, he declines to comment, neither confirming nor denying the presence of nuclear weapons in any particular location at any particular time (I answer such questions in exactly the same way). As for those of us who aren’t witnesses, but who have genuinely investigated UFOs for the government, we take our secrecy oaths seriously too, and would never release classified information without proper authorisation. We’re not whistleblowers either. When people see me on TV talking about the MoD’s UFO files, I’m discussing material that’s already been declassified and released by the British Government.
This brings me to the final irony concerning people in ufology who claim to have inside knowledge about secret government UFO projects. You know the ones I mean. The ones making fantastic but totally unverifiable claims about vast underground bases, secret exchange deals between Presidents and extraterrestrials, moon bases, Mars colonies, and much more besides. Such people are absolutely certain about UFOs, extraterrestrials, etc. They’ll give you chapter and verse on anything from UFO propulsion systems and alien agendas, through to the geography of various alien planets. This mirrors the way that many ufologists at the extreme ends of the belief spectrum (i.e. the most devout true believers and die-hard debunkers) are absolutely certain about the true nature of the UFO phenomenon. And here’s the ultimate irony: those of us who have genuinely researched and investigated the UFO mystery for the government are much less sure about things!

Mysterious crop circles have been spotted in wheat fields across the world for decades. With no witnesses to see them being made and reports of strange glowing lights hovering above them, could crop circles be the proof that aliens exist?

The public rarely hears about interactions between military personnel and unexplained aircraft — especially during wartime.
As time goes on, however, UFO stories stuck behind red tape begin to see the light of day. The Vietnam War saw its share of UFO activity in the 1960s.
One close encounter, in 1968, involved the crew of an American patrol boat that reported two glowing circular craft following them in the demilitarized zone that separated North and South Vietnam (see depiction below).
The crew aboard a second patrol boat later reported seeing the UFOs over the first boat and a flash of light, followed by an explosion that completely destroyed the boat. These Vietnam reports included close observation of the unknown aerial craft which appeared to house pilots (see recreation image at the top of this story).
Wartime UFO stories are recreated in the premiere episode of the second season of History’s “Hangar 1: The UFO Files.” The accounts are drawn from tens of thousands of UFO cases in the archives of the Mutual UFO Network, the world’s largest UFO investigation group.
“The military was interested in [UFOs] because they had capabilities far above anything that we had, and they wanted to find out what the technology was and, frankly, who they belonged to,” according to former Air Force intelligence officer, Capt. George Filer.
While in Vietnam, Filer — who had a top secret clearance — gave daily briefings to Gen. George S. Brown, deputy commander for air operations in Vietnam.
“Frequently, the Vietcong or North Vietnamese would be attacking an outpost and I would explain that, and we would have ground-air support, particularly at night where we’d go in there with these gun ships, and I would give briefings on all of that,” Filer told The Huffington Post. “Some of the time, there would be unidentified craft over the DMZ.”
Filer described a typical report that he’d receive and which he included in his briefings to Brown:
“You’d have an aircraft flying along, doing around 500 knots and a UFO comes alongside and does some barrel rolls around the aircraft and then flies off at three times the speed of one of the fastest jets we have in the Air Force. So, obviously, it has a technology far in advance of anything we have.
“I would be told this unofficially. People tell you a lot of things that they don’t put in writing or sign their name to. There was always this part of UFOs that, if you got too interested, it could mess up your career. And this is true today even with commercial pilots. I’ve also heard from people serving in Afghanistan saying they’ve seen UFOs, and the Iranian news carries UFO reports pretty regularly.”
During a 1973 press conference, five years after the patrol boat UFO encounters, Brown — as USAF chief of staff — was asked about the Air Force’s position on UFOs:
I don’t know whether this story has ever been told or not. They weren’t called UFOs. The were called enemy helicopters. And they were only seen at night and they were only seen in certain places. They were seen up around the DMZ in the early summer of ’68. And this resulted in quite a little battle.
And in the course of this, an Australian destroyer took a hit and we never found any enemy, we only found ourselves when this had all been sorted out. And this caused some shooting there, and there was no enemy at all involved, but we always reacted.
Always after dark, the same thing happened up at Pleiku at the Highlands in ’69.
Many stories about battling UFOs have emerged throughout history.
One early account of UFO warfare was supposedly seen by the citizens of Nuremberg, Germany, in 1561. On a morning in April, the Nuremberg Gazette reportedly described an aerial battle between large “cylindrical shapes from which emerged black, red, orange and blue-white spheres that darted about… All these elements started to fight one against the other.” An artist, Hans Glaser, created a woodcut of the spectacle, seen below:
During World War II, also in Germany, Allied aircraft pilots often reported mysterious glowing, fast-moving, circular lights, which were dubbed Foo Fighters. The New York Times reported it as “military slang for flying saucers.”
Filer — who documents his sightings and other UFO news at the National UFO Center site — was one of several military eyewitnesses to something extraordinary in the sky over England. It was 1962, and he was the navigator on a refueling tanker.
“We were out over the North Sea when London Control called and asked if we would be willing to intercept an unidentified that was over Oxford and the Stonehenge area. We had just finished up our refueling mission, so we said sure, and they cleared all the traffic around us and gave us top priority as we descended towards the UFO. All they really had was a very large radar return, but it was much bigger than a normal aircraft.”
Filer (pictured at right) recalled how his radar scope indicated the UFO was as big as the huge Firth of Forth Bridge in Scotland that he and his crew often used as a regular navigation point.
“The ‘thing’ was at 1,000 feet and we were descending from 32,000 feet. We picked up this huge radar return while we were still about 30 miles out. It was dark out and when we got much closer to the object, we saw lights around it, outlining the shape of a cylinder, like a cruise ship. It then just quickly rose and went up into space.
“We were pretty sure we’d just seen a UFO.”
Filer also told HuffPost that he has heard from air traffic controllers who claimed they were told to “always divert aircraft away from UFOs and deny that it existed. I think they want this whole situation to go away, and I think [the policy] is coming from the National Security Council — they’re at the highest level. It sounds funny, but presidents don’t always know what their National Security Council is doing.”
Upcoming episodes of “Hangar 1″ over the next 12 weeks will focus on folks who’ve held military positions and are willing to come forward and tell their stories.
One of those (hold onto your hats) is a man who claims he was in the Marines (wait for it…) and that he was stationed on Mars for several years. That’s right: the red planet Mars. He’ll describe being part of an off-planet military force. Let’s not pass judgment…yet.
There’s also the story of a retired Army sergeant who says he was assigned to UFO crash and retrieval cases where both ships and ET bodies were supposedly recovered — some dead, some alive.
In case you were wondering, Hangar 1 is an actual hangar where MUFON, for a long time, stored all of its archives. At one point, all of the organization’s files were housed in this airport hangar somewhere in the middle of the country. The images of Hangar 1 that appear in the series are of the real hangar.
The guy who left his wife, quit his job, and sold his house to literally move into a van down by the river and spend 25 years hunting the Loch Ness Monster claims he finally solved the mystery that’s captivated dumb tourists and conspiracy theorists for centuries, Reuters reports. Nessie, he claims, is actually just a really, really big catfish.
“I have to be honest. I just don’t think that Nessie is a prehistoric monster,” Steve Feltham told the Times on Thursday. “What a lot of people have reported seeing would fit in with the description of the catfish with its long curved back.”
The real-life river beast he’s describing, a Wels catfish, can grow up to 13 feet long, and looks like it could swallow a human being whole like the Roach in Men in Black. Feltham says that Victorians threw a couple catfish into Loch Ness about a century ago just for the hell of it, and they’ve been haunting the lake ever since.
Feltham’s lifelong saga hunting Nessie—and winning him a Guinness World Record in the process—is mapped out on his website. The “about me” page is strangely beautiful, in a weird, sad sort of way.
“If you have a dream, no matter how harebrained others think it is, then it is worth trying to make it come true,” he writes. “Have I ever regretted my decision? Never, not for one second.”
If you follow UFO’s, or NASA, or Planet X/Nibiru, then you already know there is tremendous amounts of evidence not only of extraterrestrial life exists, but also that many world governments (including out own) are well aware of that fact and may very well be in contact with them. This is the point where many people tune out, and label you a “Conspiracy Nut” or something of the sort. Yep, and the laughed at anyone who thought the world was round too, or that the Earth went around the sun. How did that work out?
If you look into Planet X, or Nibiru, or whatever you want to call it, there is MOUNTAINS of evidence it is real, dating back to roughly 1950. FACT: Before the discovery of what was eventually named Neptune in the 1840’s, astronomers of 175 years ago observed irregularities Uranus’ orbital path. Before we had people branded as “climate deniers,” or “conspiracy nuts,” and long before the world elites had the Internet to use as a method of mass ridicule within seconds for anyone not towing the mainstream line (by the way, you’re not a “climate denier” are you?), scientists DID realize there was a Planet X out there. They noted there must be something else in space past Neptune (obviously of enormous gravitational mass) that is pulling it out of orbit. Planets don’t move on their own. Ultimate that led to the discovery of the next planet, Uranus, which was thought be the cure. PROBLEM: We know TODAY, that Uranus is nowhere NEAR large enough be able to pull Neptune out of orbit. Do you own research.
I am not saying Planet X is on a crash course for Earth and we’re all going to die. What I am saying is do your homework. I’m sold. Completely. I’ve seen enough video (including plenty leaked by NASA employees) that could not be any more clear it is visible from earth, from certain vantage points, at certain times. Check out the Elusive Planet X Caught on Video in the U.S. After Sundown. As for aliens, my personal favorite mystery is the 13,000 Year Old Satellite Orbiting Earth Sending Radio Signals. FACT: On Friday, May 14, 1954, numerous papers carry an interesting statement by retired Marine Corps Major Donald E. Keyhoe, who states the Earth is being circled by one or two artificial satellites. U.S. Government scientists at White Sands, NM, he added, were making an effort to locate and chart them, and determine origin. Have you seen the documentary, Aliens on the Moon: The Truth Exposed, that has interviews with several Apollo astronauts and what they saw on their trip to the moon? Check it out.
Whether UFOs are actually alien crafts or not, they’re extremely interesting to think about. No one knows exactly what they are (hence the name), but there sure are plenty of theories.
Theories like these range from believable, to terrifying, to laughably entertaining.
1. The Black Knight Satellite
Last week, we went in-depth into just what the Black Knight Satellite is (or what it could be). The short version is that the Black Knight is a large satellite that’s believed to have been orbiting Earth for the last 300,000 years. No one knows how it got there, but it’s been detected by NASA multiple times.
2. John F. Kennedy Killed By CIA
The only thing that conspiracy theorists love more than speculating about UFOs is speculating about JFK’s assassination. According some to theorists, just ten days before he was killed in Dallas, President Kennedy demanded “full disclosure” from the CIA regarding their investigations into unidentified flying objects. He also ordered the agency to share all of their UFO data with NASA. To avoid having to disclose their alleged links to UFOs, the CIA had Kennedy killed.
3. The Hologram Plan
This one is weird. In 2009, a strange, blue light formed in the night sky over Norway. While the explanation is likely meteorological, conspiracy theorists declared it to be a failed attempt at implementing Project Blue Beam. The theory goes that the “New World Order” plans to show a holographic projection simulating an alien invasion as a means to seize power. Clearly, they are still working out the kinks in their plan.
4. Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 vs. UFO
Theories abound about the mysterious disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. The most interesting one claims that it was abducted by a UFO. The proof that believers offer for this particular theory is that the Malaysian air force detected an unidentified flying object on their radar just before the plane disappeared. If that’s true, this theory would account for the lack of physical debris usually found in the event of a plane crash.
5. America’s Hidden Space Fleet
While the United States has one of the most sophisticated terrestrial militaries in the world, when it comes to space warfare, we’re woefully unqualified. Or are we? According to some theorists, NASA’s mission for space exploration is merely a front. Their real purpose is to build and maintain a fleet of interstellar war ships that are in orbit above Earth as we speak. The evidence offered for this supposed space fleet is a cryptic reference to something called the Solar Warden Program in a leaked document from the U.S. State Department.
6. 2012 Olympic Alien Invasion
The 2012 Olympic Games were a triumph of human achievement. However, if you were a UFO conspiracy theorist, it was anything but. According to these folks, the 2012 Olympic mascots somehow conveyed a hidden message about an impending alien invasion. Instead of rooting for their home teams, theorists were busy stocking their emergency bunkers. When the invasion didn’t happen, it was, of course, classified as a conspiracy. This time, the perpetrators were the Free Masons.
7. Alien Jesus
One of the most widely circulated UFO conspiracy theories out there is that Jesus was actually an alien. This one falls into the Ancient Aliens category of conspiracies. While it seems far out, it would explain pretty much all of Jesus’s miracles.
8. Nazi UFOs In Antarctica
In 1946, America mounted a large, unprecedented expedition to Antarctica. The official reason was to beat the Soviets there. However, Nazi supporters maintain that the expedition was mounted to destroy a secret Nazi UFO base located there. The theory continues, saying that the “attack force” was repelled by the superior Nazi technology. In reality, bad weather forced the expedition to make a hasty return.
9. General MacArthur vs. Aliens
During a 1955 speech, General MacArthur is said to have made a comment about Earth-wide war against aliens. He urged the world to unite because the next great war could be a battle for Earth’s very survival. Conspiracy theorists believe this was a reference to some specific knowledge that MacArthur had about the existence of aliens.
10. NASA Sent Astronauts To Another Planet
While humans have only officially visited the moon, UFO theorists believe humanity has gone much farther. They claim that a dozen astronauts were sent to a planet 37 light-years away called Serpo during the Kennedy administration. They were part of an exchange program implemented by grateful aliens who were saved after their spacecraft crashed in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947.

Do you believe in UFOs?
A Dexter woman does after seeing what she believed to be saucer-like flying objects in the night sky over her home recently. The only problem with her theory is that it was the Fourth of July — a time for all kinds of objects to be lighting up the skies overhead. Anita Barnes, however, is convinced, as are her mother and her husband, that what they witnessed on the night of the Fourth, did not resemble any fireworks they’ve ever witnessed. “It was about 9:30,” Barnes explains, “and my husband called in to me to come outside and see what was flying overhead.” One of the objects sighted, she said, was what is typically described as a flying saucer, a round lighted object with a sort of outside slope or ring around the middle. Barnes went inside her home to retrieve her cell phone and was able to take several photos of the sightings, that continued until nearly midnight. Barnes lives on the far west end of West St. Francis Street. Her mother, who lives on Bain Street, witnessed the same sights.
Some of the objects, Barnes explained, had colorful lights circling their outer rims. “There were eight at time, one right behind the other,” Barnes said. She said the objects were going in a south to northwestern direction over her house. “At one point, two of them had come back toward my house. Then they disappeared, and then the single white light saucers just came out of nowhere for hours.” Until the sightings on the Fourth, Barnes noted she was “always kind of negative” regarding the theory of flying saucers and UFOs. “I was really amazed,” she said. “I have never seen anything like what I saw that night. Every time I would see one coming, I’d get my phone and try to get a picture of it. I was very excited.” While most of the photos on Anita Barnes’ phone are cloudy and distant, one in particular stands out. The object (pictured herein) shows the image that most describe when describing a UFO — the bright light and ring around it. Barnes said she has since heard that there were also sightings in the Bernie area, but in part because of the date, didn’t report them to any news agency or media outlet.

This is taken from the live cam of the International Space Station.Streetcap1 of Youtube has caught two glowing orb UFOs shooting below the station and they are actually moving faster than the space station. The ISS completes 15.7 orbits of Earth per day, so you know thats fast. I tried to make close ups of the craft the best I could. I could see at the early part of the video that there was sometimes a trail behind each UFO. SCW
Eyewitness, Streetcap1 states: Thought it was maybe two Jets at first, but they would have to be doing thousands of miles an hour. They eventually disappear at the right hand side of the screen as the camera cannot keep up with them. Yes I have this footage, but thought folk would get bored watching two white dots in the dark.
MILITARY INVESTIGATES CRASHED ALIEN CRAFT IN PERUMARCH 1997 ………. PERU
Marine Corps Lance Corporal John Weygandt, who was part of the Disclosure Project, was sent to Peru in March 1997, to provide perimeter security for a radar installation that he was told tracked drug traffic aircraft. He states, “About midnight, while I was on guard duty, Sergeant Allen and Sergeant Atkinson told me, an aircraft crashed and they need us to go and secure the crash site.” Early that morning we drove six Hummers close to the crash site just when it started to get light. We found the area real easy because there was a huge gash in the land where something had crashed. Everything was burned and it was like something had almost cut warm butter with a knife. It was like something on fire or had some kind of energy like a laser had cut it. It was really strange. I was in the front with my sergeants ten meters ahead of everyone else. We were the first ones to see this thing. It had gone up the hill and then off in the side of the ravine and ridge. This was a 200-foot ridge, of solid rock.
A huge craft was buried at a 45 degree angle in the side of the cliff there at the ridge. It was straight up and down. The craft was dripping a greenish-purple syrup-like liquid everywhere that fluctuated like it was alive and changing to a different shade of greenish purple. The craft was humming like a bass guitar and had a slowly turning light. Most of the craft seemed buried into the cliff but vents, like a fish gill were on the back. The liquid got on my clothes and ate holes in them and burned off some the hair on my arms. There were three holes in the ship that may have been hatches that were not flush with the main body of the craft. There was another hatch that was kind of crooked to the side and half open. I felt this strange presence and I think the creatures calmed me and were trying to communicate with me telepathically. The Corporal estimated the craft was about 20 meters in length (66 feet) and ten meters (33 feet) in width and shaped like an egg or teardrop. The skin of the craft had bumps and notches and appendages on it. It was really organic and almost like art. It looked like something that could be made in a shop with handmade materials. It looked like metal but there was no reflection and was nothing like titanium.
The sun was shining on it and I could see the different shades of the craft. Suddenly the Sergeants were yelling at me to get the hell out of there. After we climbed back up, the Department of Energy people were there. They knew about it so I don’t know why we went there. I was arrested and cuffed with both hands down and all my gear was taken from me by men in black camouflage uniforms who threatened me and subdued me. At the crash site there were thirty guys wearing hazard suits. I had been told aircraft were flying in and out of the atmosphere at mach ten plus. When you have objects that reenter the atmosphere and then stop on a dime and turn around it is obvious this craft are not from Earth. I knew that when I looked at it. I wondered if those facilities were built to track UFO’s with radar and their cover was to track drug aircraft. They had laser range finders and all kinds of high tech stuff that I have never seen before and can’t explain. The laser range finders looked like big telescopes. There was a Command Center manned by a multi-national force including Chinese and I think Germans. So these craft were tracked from this particular radar and had been hit by some weapons and had been taken out. Editor’s Note: I spoke with Corporal Weygandt who described a craft damaged by enemy action, either ours or an opposing alien force. He thought there may be a missile site that was set up in Peru.
His testimony on Page 274 of “Disclosure: Witnesses Reveal the Greatest Secrets” by Steven Greer M.D. indicates lethal deadly force was being used against alien intruders during the Clinton Administration. We can assume this war continues.

If there are technologically advanced aliens somewhere in the Universe, would they have experienced advancements in technology in a similar way as humans? Would they go through phases where they develop technology in a similar pattern as those we have seen in human history?
For example, the wheel was invented, which allowed for the invention of land based travel, which was greatly increased by the invention of the combustion engine which eventually progressed to other forms of travel. Which technologies would be common across all technologically advanced cultures? Would advanced aliens all have some form of computational device in their history? How about television? Radio? Etc.?
July 19, 1952: Perhaps the most amazing UFO incident, and well documented, occurred in our nation's capital. Seven objects were seen on radar. The air traffic controllers knew something was odd. The movements were impossible by current aircraft standards. Another capital area traffic control tower also confirmed the objects. Peering our the window of the tower, a controlled reported seeing a bright orange light. Then, something horrible happened. Seven objects appeared and moved over the White House. Andrews Air Force Base 10 miles away was called. Although Andrews AFB didn't report anything on radar, an airman looked out the window to see an orange ball of fire with a tail. Suddenly, the object took off at an unbelievable speed. At that time, a controller at National reported a large orange disk. Then, 6 fast moving white tailless objects were seen. One sergeant reported an orange red light that would stay still, then move in impossible positions and speeds. An object hovered over the radar beacon. Then, all 3 centers tracking it said it vanished. After much cat and mouse behavior, the disks were last seen 6 hours after they first arrived, all of them turning skyward and flashing away with great speed. One week later, a National Airline stewardess saw objects above her plane. Soon, radar centers neraby were watching the objects. They were reported to be moving at unusually high speed. The sightings on radar ended around sunrise and pilots in fighter jets saw the light, but were unable to keep up with it. The military (of course) explained them as meteors or stars. This remains one of the most professionally witnessed, documented and threatening encounters with the unknown in our nation's history.

Odd UFO Fleet Filmed During Storm—Wait, Is it Recharging?
This eerie video was recently shot in Mexico and it shows what appears to be a giant UFO or a fleet of UFOs flying in formation during a lightning storm. Could they be replenishing their energy levels?
The complexity and advanced technology of extraterrestrial craft pretty much guarantees they either use an exotic form of energy or have the ability to absorb energy from their surroundings. We’ve seen UFOs absorbing water from lakes, giant spaceships near our Sun, presumably filling up, and flying saucers diving straight into Earth’s volcanoes.
Should our assumption that UFOs are advanced alien ships be correct, they could just as well harness the thermal energy available inside our planet’s mantle as well as the sun’s electromagnetism and radiance. And since we’re in the land of hypotheses, it wouldn’t be impossible for them to exploit the immense electrostatic discharges during a lightning storm.
This video is unique given the fact that it is filmed in decent enough quality and doesn’t seem to have been tampered with. If the UFOs are computer generated, whoever created the video did a good job. The objects are not placed on top of the background. They are consistent with the resolution of the video and appear to be inside the clouds.
Another hint towards the authenticity of the video and the presence of the unidentified objects is the fact that they seem to interact with the environment. If you watch closely, at 0:42-0:43, the objects seem to reflect the lightning strikes, suggesting they are reflective to some degree. The same effect can be observed multiple times throughout the video.
But the most intriguing aspect can be seen at 1:19, when a particularly bright lightning flash lights up the sky. For a split second, it looks like the strange array of lights isn’t a UFO fleet, but one enormous mother ship.
This object(s) at the center of this sighting is/are very similar to the infamous Phoenix Lights of 1997, both in structure and behavior. But while skeptics have long claimed that illumination flares were responsible for the Phoenix incident, the same explanation cannot be forced here. Military exercises that require illumination flares wouldn’t take place during a storm and lightning strikes wouldn’t make them shine brighter.
Examination of the video suggests the presence of one large metallic UFO or a fleet of smaller flying saucers.
Mysterious Objects Fall From the Sky in Argentina: Are They UFO Fragments?
Did a flying saucer explode in the sky over South America? Scared residents of a small Argentinian town seem to think so, and they have evidence to support their fears.
The peaceful town of Berrotarán in the province of Cordoba is home to almost 7,000 people. You can imagine the commotion rapidly spreading from home to home as mysterious fragments started raining down from the skies, following a loud explosion that was heard by everyone.
Some homeowners were lucky (unlucky?) enough to have found these strange shards in their backyards and now they’re concerned for the safety of their families. Miguel Coranti is one of the first to discover the fallen fragments:
“We live a couple of blocks away from the town center of Berrotarán and we found almost all of the objects. These things are heavy, thick and strange, like nothing we had ever seen before. We are fortunate that these objects didn’t cause any damage to our home.”
The fragments seem to be made up of some type of hard, glass-like substance. Dense and compact, the glass looks like it’s been subjected to very high pressures. On the surface, the objects are covered in a thin protective layer. What could they be?
Our aircraft and satellites are built using light materials, not dense glass. Therefore, it seems the fragments couldn’t have resulted from a collision between man-made objects. An extraterrestrial origin hypothesis would fit this scenario if it weren’t for a small detail: inscriptions. Unfortunately for all UFO enthusiasts out there, the inscriptions feature our alphabet, proving the debris resulted from the explosion of something made by humans.
As you can see from the photo, the fragments are clearly marked “B5.” Unless aliens use the same symbols we do, these chunks of glass came from an object of earthly origins.
The loud explosion that preceded the falling debris was heard all over the region and not just over the small town, suggesting the incident occurred at a high altitude. People in the area are irritated and concerned that no-one has offered an explanation yet.
ALIEN UFO CRAFT PASSES DELTA FLIGHT FROM GEORGIA JULY 1, 2015 ……. ATLANTA GEORGIA

I was on Delta Airlines Flight 1667 flying from Atlanta, GA, to Myrtle Beach, S.C. The aircraft was a MD-88 and I was sitting in seat 19E on the starboard side of the aircraft, several rows forward of the wing, which I could see on the right side of my window when I leaned forward. We took off an hour late at around 22:29. There was an overcast of Cirrus-stratus or Alto-stratus clouds. The full moon was not visible through this layer. There were no lower clouds and city lights were plainly visible without obstruction during the initial climb out after takeoff. There were no reading lights in use near me. There were also no electronics in use with illuminated screens nearby that would have reflected on the inside of the window.
Shortly after takeoff the aircraft leveled out and the lights of the city were plainly visible with a definite darker area extending out to the horizon visible under a slightly lighter sky over that. At this point I was looking down at the city lights, when I noticed a light separate itself from the rest and begin to move. It was a banana yellow color and was moving upward at a slow and steady pace. There were no other details to it. I could not judge its distance from us. As it moved, it appeared to be heading on an opposite course to ours and was climbing at an angle of approximately forty five degrees.
From my perspective it moved from the lower left of the window to its upper right corner where I lost it to view. The light became obscured by the leading edge of the wing and then reappeared over the rear upper edge of the wing or wingtip. All this time which was probably a minute or so the light did not change in brightness or flicker. The color stayed the sa! me and so did its speed of ascent. I was unable to observe the object further as it went out of my limited field of view even by shifting my position. I don’t know if anyone else on the aircraft saw this. During the initial takeoff before we leveled out there were other aircraft visible. This light or object did not exhibit their characteristics. I have flown numerous times at night and have seen plenty of aircraft leaving or arriving at airports. This was not one of them. Its apparent point of origin was not from any airport. It was an urban environment. Shortly after this we began to ascend again and banked for a course change. I checked my watch and it was now 22:35.
I am sixty two years old, male, and was travelling alone returning home from a family related trip. I am a retired social worker and business manager. I am an amateur astronomer and avid sky watcher. I have no clue what this was. I only know what it wasn’t. I considered raising this issue with the pilot upon landing at Myrtle Beach, but decided to avoid that and take this approach instead. I don’t know how he would have reacted, but I did speak with him about the natural fireworks of distant thunderstorms visible to our south during the flight at higher altitude which he was also quite enthusiastic about.
