Alien star map drawn by woman who claimed UFO abducted her in 1960s "shows she was telling TRUTH"

It was way back in 1961 that Betty and Barney Hill first claimed they were abducted by aliens.

The couple, from New Hampshire in the US, even tried to prove it with Betty drawing a map of where she says the aliens came from.

But their claims were thrown out by expert after expert who said there was no constellation that resembled a known formation.

However one expert is now saying that there may be truth to their claims.

Statistician David Saunders says that Betty was telling the truth as her drawing resembles Zeta Reticuli, a star system in the southern constellation of Reticulum.

He argues that there is no way Betty could have randomly sketched the star map.

Betty, who died in 2004, previously said of her abduction: "I was taken on board. Barney was taken into one room and I was taken into another. The one who did the testing we called The Examiner.

"First they put me on a stool and they checked my eyes, ears, nose, throat. They put me on a table, and said they wanted to check my nervous system.

"Then they tried to insert a needle-like instrument in my navel which caused pain so they stopped doing it. Barney’s exam was very much like mine in the beginning except they were interested in his bone structure.”

"I said ‘I know you’re not from this planet but where are you from?’

This Is One of the Mysterious Fossilized Humanoid Skull Found In Africa

Although many people like to think we are the only intelligent life forms to walk this earth, this might be far from the truth. This is one of the mysterious fossilized humanoid skulls found in Africa that make us question what we think we know. It's a common theme in the evolution of man and thought.

We consider something to be true and factual for many years, and then suddenly a new piece of information arises that completely dismisses everything we once believed. Think of the earth being flat for example. This was once commonly believed to be true, and it took a great deal of time before people finally let go of this false notion in favor of the reality which was that earth is round. Now we have the technology necessary to soar into space where we could get a full view of the shape of our planets, but like all things, advancements like these take time.

The same goes for all the alien evidence. At the moment there's no way we can fully prove that they exist. Accounts from people who have spotted strange sightings abound, but it's difficult to tell what they actually saw. Sometimes our eyes play tricks on us, other times certain optical illusions can be quite persuasive. And finally, when people have video footage or photographs, there's always a chance that it was totally altered to look like something completely different.

The skulls that have been found in the past 10 years have brought about a lot of controversy. Some people claim that they are completely fake, and that it's all just a hoax. While others protest and swear that they are real artifacts that are carbon dated to thousands of years ago. It's hard to say what's true, either way it certainly makes for an interesting story.

This skull is one of the many that resemble a human in certain respects, but is clearly still not human at all. The size of the top of the head is way out of proportion, exactly like the alien heads we're used to on our movies and shows. The eyes are huge, and the chin is sharply pointed. This particular skull is a little more creepy than some of the other ones that have been found, but it's still consistent in the shape and form of the features. What's more interesting is that this skull is dated to around 14 million years ago, in addition it has incredibly high amounts of iridium in it which is a common element found in meteors. So what do you think, is this skull truly an artifact that proves aliens have walked the earth? Or is it just a hoax? It's fascinating to think about, and only time will tell. Currently many universities across the world are conducting studies on this strange artifact. Checkout the page on the "Flickr" website to see for yourself, it's definitely worth taking a look. It honestly seems like it's straight out of a movie!

Edward Snowden: we may never spot space aliens thanks to encryption

The US government whistleblower Edward Snowden believes encryption might make it difficult or even impossible to distinguish signals from alien species from cosmic background radiation.

On Friday night, Snowden appeared from Moscow on the astrophysicist and science communicator Neil deGrasse Tyson’s StarTalk podcast, via a robot video link called a “beam remote presence system”.

In 2013, after leaking documents on National Security Agency surveillance to media outlets including the Guardian, and under threat of US prosecution under the Espionage Act, Snowden sought asylum in Russia.

In a candid interview with Tyson, Snowden said he signed up for the US army following the terrorist attacks of 11 September 2001.

“It took a very long time for me to develop any kind of skepticism at all even to the most over-extended claims of the extension of programs or policies [by the US security services],” he said.

The conversation turned to the possibility that data encryption might be making it harder to intercept communications from aliens.

“If you look at encrypted communication, if they are properly encrypted, there is no real way to tell that they are encrypted,” Snowden said. “You can’t distinguish a properly encrypted communication from random behaviour.”

Therefore, Snowden continued, as human and alien societies get more sophisticated and move from “open communications” to encrypted communication, the signals being broadcast will quickly stop looking like recognisable signals.

“So if you have an an alien civilization trying to listen for other civilizations,” he said, “or our civilization trying to listen for aliens, there’s only one small period in the development of their society when all their communication will be sent via the most primitive and most unprotected means.”

After that, Snowden said, alien messages would be so encrypted that it would render them unrecognisable, “indistinguishable to us from cosmic microwave background radiation”. In that case, humanity would not even realise it had received such communications.

“Only,” Tyson replied jovially, “if they have the same security problems as us.”

Neil Tyson chats with whistleblower Edward Snowden via robot. In Part 1, they discuss Isaac Newton, education, chemistry, encryption and privacy, and more.

When Tyson asked Snowden if a highly intelligent alien civilization might be communicating with encrypted messages, Snowden began by saying that most advanced societies realize they need to encrypt their communications, and that this could be the reason why we've never heard from other civilizations.

“If you have an an alien civilization trying to listen for other civilizations, or our civilization trying to listen for aliens, there’s only one small period in the development of their society when all their communication will be sent via the most primitive and most unprotected means,” Snowden said.

“So when we think about everything that we’re hearing through our satellites or everything that they’re hearing from our civilization (if there are indeed aliens out there), all of their communications are encrypted by default.”

He added that encryption would render communication indistinguishable from “cosmic microwave background radiation.”

Snowden is less famous for his views on extraterrestrials and more so for leaking classified documents which revealed the US government's secret mass surveillance program. The whistleblower now resides in Russia, where he was granted asylum after Washington charged him with theft and espionage.

Romans Recorded Some Of The First UFOs

One of the first recorded examples of a UFO actually came from Rome, although most people tend to think of them as a modern phenomena. In 218 B.C., a written account reports that a fleet of gleaming ships appeared to be floating in the sky of Rome. That wasn’t the only one, either—in A.D. 150 a report from an area right outside of Rome described “a beast like a piece of pottery about one hundred feet in size, multicolored on top and shooting out fiery rays, landed in a dust cloud.”

The Roman author Julius Obsequens, believed to have lived in the fourth century A.D., drew on Livy as well as other sources of his time to compile his book Prodigorium liber, which describes many peculiar phenomena, some of which could be interpreted as UFO sightings. Here are just a few examples:

216 B.C. Things like ships were seen in the sky over Italy… At Arpi (180 Roman miles, east of Rome, in Apulia) a round shield was seen in the sky. At Capua, the sky was all on fire, and one saw figures like ships…

99 B.C. When C. Murius and L. Valerius were consuls, in Tarquinia, there fell in different places… a thing like a flaming torch, and it came suddenly from the sky. Towards sunset, a round object like a globe, or round or circular shield took its path in the sky, from west to east.

90 B.C. In the territory of Spoletium (65 Roman miles north of Rome, in Umbria) a globe of fire, of golden colour, fell to the earth, gyrating. It then seemed to increase in size, rose from the earth, and ascended into the sky, where it obscured the disc of the sun, with its brilliance. It revolved towards the eastern quadrant of the sky. [Harold T. Wilkins, Flying Saucers on the Attack, pp.164-69]

A later chronicler of inexplicable phenomena, one Conrad Wolffhart (a professor of grammar and dialectics who under the pen name of Lycosthenes wrote the compendium Prodigiorum ac Ostentorum Chronicon, published in 1567), mentions the following events:

393 A.D. Strange lights were seen in the sky in the days of the Emperor Theodosius. On a sudden, a bright globe appeared at midnight. It shone brilliantly near the day star (planet, Venus), about the circle of the Zodiac. This globe shone little less brilliantly than the planet, and little by little, a great number of other glowing orbs drew near the first globe. The spectacle was like a swarm of bees flying around the bee-keeper, and the light of these orbs was as if they were dashing violently against each other. Soon, they blended together into one awful flame, and bodied forth to the eye as a horrible two-edged sword. The strange globe which was first seen now appeared like the pommel to a handle, and all the little orbs, fused with the first, shone as brilliantly as the first globe.

UFO ‘FLEET’ SEEN ON NASA SPACE STATION VIDEO — RESEARCHER ASKS, ‘ALIENS OR SECRET GOVERNMENT TESTS?’

What appears to be a UFO “fleet” appears in NASA video taken from the International Space Station robotic camera, as discovered by a prominent YouTube online UFO archivist and researcher. The find, if indeed it is a find, is just the latest in a long series of UFO appearances on the NASA ISS video feed.

Just last week, a YouTube user in Australia found apparent evidence of a UFO “miles in diameter” hovering near the space station. The user, who posted the video under his screen name of “blubeard2011,” said that he had been combing the NASA ISS feed for two years hoping to find some evidence of a UFO observing the space station that orbits about 250 miles above the surface of the Earth.

But when he finally found one, as reported in the Inquisitr article that can be accessed at this link, it was a doozy.

That sighting came about three weeks after another UFO hunter examining the NASA feed found what was described as a cigar-shaped UFO flying past the space station at “warp speed.”

The new sighting was recorded by the prolific online UFO researcher who goes by the name Streetcap1. The video is viewable above. It was publicized by Scott C. Waring, another top online UFO researcher, on his blogUFO Sightings Daily.

“These UFOs visited the space station this week and were found by Streetcap1 of Youtube. Only one of the UFOs was clear enough to get a nice close up of it, but that’s all I needed to tell if it was a reflection or a solid object,” wrote Waring.

• “The UFO on the far left is 100% solid. The others are probably the same. I notice that the one on the left fades out, while the one on the far right fades in. Streetcap1 is right, its possible these ships are some covert project, like the old Aurora project, but still unidentified.”

If the UFOs are not clearly visible on the video, Waring isolated a screen capture of two of the UFOs hovering around the space station.

And then Waring zoomed in on one of the objects.

The Aurora project mentioned by Waring was alleged to be a secret testing program for a new, supersonic stealth surveillance aircraft. In December of last year, as the Inquisitr reported at the time, a series of ear-shattering and unexplained sonic booms over Britain were linked to the Aurora project.

Whether the UFO “fleet” captured in the NASA video is part of a similar program, albeit one based in space, remains to be seen. Of course, as some scientists have claimed about the repeated UFO sightings near the space station, the sightings could simply be the result of glitches in the video system.

Tom Sanger interview and new analysis of Independence Day UFO near Tucson

Vancouver, BC – An exclusive new video published to YouTube on September 17, 2015, catches up with night vision videographer Tom Sanger to discuss his evidence of a UFO over the Santa Catalina Mountains near Tucson recorded on Independence Day. Fireworks weren’t the only bright objects in Arizona skies that July 4, 2015, evening as the seasoned experiencer and his sky watch colleague teamed up to capture one of this summer’s most talked-about close encounters. While MUFON has declared the matter “case closed” a few questions remained concerning optics that even the so-called professionals of UFOlogy may be loath to consider.

Citing communications masts visible on Mt. Bigelow, Open Minds stated on July 22, 2015, that “out of focus lights can be seen on the far right of the screen” at the beginning of the video. This defocused status contrasts with a pin-sharp in-focus recording of the UFO, indicating how the mystery object and communications masts resided on two entirely different focal planes that evening.

During his NewsInsideOut.com interview, Tom Sanger emphasized that while recording fireworks that evening he had manually set focus at that time for nearby, not distant objects, recanting earlier remarks to Open Minds in which he described an object at 30 miles distance.

Huffington Post’s follow-up from earlier this month offered the report of Phoenix MUFON’s director of investigations whose on-site post-event survey determined that human activity (described by HuffPo as headlights from automobiles) near the summit of Mt. Bigelow was the cause behind the sighting. A gated roadway leading to a platform does exist at relative line-of-sight to the camera’s perspective, but according to the witness, this is no superhighway trafficked by a lineup of hundreds of vehicles passing through the trees over the 8 plus minutes accounted for in the video.

The strong possibility exists, supported by optical evidence, that the UFO was in fact located over Sanbino Canyon between the mountain and the observer. During his NewsInsideOut.com interview Tom Sanger described how the masts and peak of Mt. Bigelow both resolve along the same focal plane when imaged during daylight with the Luna Optics camera.

That the UFO resided upon a separate focal plane at variance with the distance to out-of-focus communications masts shown in the early frames of the video is abundantly clear to all parties concerned. In this reporter’s considered opinion, the evidence shows that the UFO was not on the mountain. It was recorded hovering in the foreground.

Digital magnification of the Tom Sanger UFO reveals possible structural details including three individual light sources separated by discrete gaps along the observer-facing portion of the object’s airframe.

The relationship between exceptionally bright bursts of light shown in the video and the operations of hand-held illuminators is further explored during the NewsInsideOut.com interview. The impact of a one Watt laser recorded at 13 miles distance on a 0 Lux broadcast camera’s sensor array is compared to overexposure suffered by the 0.03 Lux Luna Optics LN-DM50-HRSD when capturing fireworks. Lights from the UFO neither display streaming trails from sweeping hand-held light beams nor do they at any time overexpose on the sensor.

Archival footage from Mt. Adams in Washington provides a baseline for evaluating such claims, suggesting how the 300-times-more-sensitive Luna Optics camera would have struggled to display anything other than a whited-out image frame under similar conditions near Mt. Bigelow. The Tom Sanger video shows no evidence of the visual jitter associated with hand-held lights and their operations. It is as if the UFO lights were performing with machine-like precision at a separate focal plane from the summit.

Was it hundreds of dancers wearing headlamps rotating in a circle on the Mt. Bigelow platform? The focal plane evidence again denies such suggestions. What really happened is that members of the public equipped with affordable night vision optics exceeded the data collection performance of so-called UFOlogy experts who proceeded to attempt to bury the story under a mountain of spurious claims and paperwork.

Their loud and widespread protestations betray serious absence of real-time instrumental field operational experience and post-event critical analytic skills. The Tom Sanger video and its public consequences offer a revelation concerning how persons seeking answers to UFO contact mysteries are today empowered in pioneering independent avenues of research at these awe-inspiring frontiers of twenty-first century knowledge.

To paraphrase a line from Bad Boys II (2003), the Tom Sanger Independence Day UFO “just got real.” Readers can watch an exclusive NewsInsideOut.com enhanced version of the UFO below.

Les deux OVNIs filmés le 5 septembre à Los Angeles

Des dizaines de témoins, des vidéos, des photos... L'observation de deux OVNIs début septembre à Los Angeles a tout pour plaire aux spécialistes. De fait, il ne s'agit pas d'un canular mais, si la vérité est ailleurs, elle ne vient pas forcément de très loin.

Que faut-il pour réussir une bonne observation d’OVNIs ? La recette est assez simple: plusieurs témoins fiables, de préférence non anonymes, des informations précises sur la date, l’heure et le lieu de l’apparition de l’objet volant, et, cerise sur la gâteau, des photographies et des vidéos. Si ces images proviennent en plus de sources différentes, alors le Nirvana ufologique n’est pas loin. Il semble bien que toutes ces conditions étaient réunies dans la soirée du 5 septembre à Los Angeles.

Comme chaque soir, l’observatoire de Griffith, situé sur les hauteurs de Los Angeles, accueillait de nombreux promeneurs venus profiter de la vue imprenable sur la Cité des Anges. Parmi eux, Chris Montague, auteur de la première vidéo mise en ligne de deux lumières qu’il décrit ainsi sur sa page YouTube:  «Depuis l’observatoire de Griffith, nous avons vu ce qui ressemblait à un météore ou à un avion en flammes qui se rapprochait du sol. Mais soudain la boule de feu s’est arrêtée dans et a commencé à se déplacer lentement. Puis, la lumière s’est éteinte. Huit secondes plus tard, elle est réapparue à quelques dizaines de mètres au dessus de son emplacement initial. Quelques instants plus tard, une seconde lumière est apparue et les deux boules lumineuses se sont assemblées au milieu du ciel avant de disparaître.»

La scène a aussi été filmée depuis d’autres parties de la ville: au moins deux autres vidéos ont été partagées sur YouTube par des personnes différentes.

D’autres témoins confirment dans les commentaires des images avoir eux-aussi assisté à la scène: «Ma mère et moi étions sur le chemin de retour quand nous avons vu ces lumières. On a eu la peur de notre vie. Après, j’ai passé deux jours sur Internet a essayer de comprendre ce que nous avions vu. C’est TELLEMENT fou! » écrit Eric Del’Accort.  En commentaire d’un article du Huffington Post qui rend compte de l’observation, une lectrice Erika Heidewald, ajoute: «J’ai vu moi aussi ces lumières ! C’était très bizarre et j’ai pris quelques photos. J’ai cru que c’était une grosse lanterne chinoise.»

Avec tant de témoins différents et d’enregistrements vidéos, la piste du canular semble exclue. De même le comportement de ces lumières, extrêmement brillantes malgré la faible qualité des vidéos, ne correspond pas à celui de lanternes chinoises, qui portées par le vent, ne changent pas de trajectoire et ne s’immobilisent pas avant de fusionner. Pour les mêmes raisons, l’hypothèse de flares, des leurres thermiques lâchés par des avions militaires, ne tient pas. D’autant que l’US Air Force évite en général de procéder à ce genre de largage potentiellement risqué dans des zones urbaines surpeuplées.

Mais les nombreux éléments dont on dispose permettent d’ouvrir le champ des explications. Parmi ces données capitales, figurent la date et l’heure exacte de l’observation : le 5 septembre aux environs de 19h45. Or, à cette heure précise débutait le premier match de la saison de football américain au Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Pour l’occasion, des parachutistes de la NAVY S.E.A.L ont été largués au-dessus du terrain. Plusieurs spectateurs ont filmé le spectacle et les images se retrouvent aisément sur YouTube.

 On remarque que les parachutistes  sont équipés d’un grand drapeau américain et, surtout, d’un dispositif qui émet de spectaculaires gerbes d’étincelles…  «coïncidence» supplémentaire leur ballet aérien rappelle étrangement celui des deux sphères lumineuses…  

Le doute n’est plus permis : les deux OVNIS sont en réalité les parachutistes de la NAVY S.E.A.L. en démonstration. Conclusion un chouïa décevante mais néanmoins riche d’enseignement. Ce cas presque parfait souligne la nécessité d’avoir à disposition le plus d’éléments possibles. Il démontre par ailleurs que, si Internet, peut facilement induire en erreur en montant en épingle des vidéos truquées, il offre aussi toutes les ressources pour expliquer une observation. Car tout ce qui brille dans ciel n'est pas forcément un OVNI...

Ex-Air Force Officer Says Two UFOs Crashed At Roswell

The Roswell Incident is undoubtedly the most influential UFO event. The official version goes something like this: in the summer of 1947 something crashed on a ranch 30 miles north of Roswell, New Mexico. The first press release was issued by public information officer Walter Haut on July 8, 1947. He stated that a “flying disk” had been recovered by military personnel.

 

All subsequent public statements denied this information, saying that the object was in fact a weather balloon. The US Military later revealed that the balloon was part of a top-secret operation destined to detect Soviet nuclear testing.

 

 

There are several inconsistencies in this story and numerous conspiracy theories revolve around the Roswell crash. Most of them dismiss the possibility of a balloon wreckage because of its relatively small size. The initial wreckage was scattered across a large area. Over the years, multiple eyewitness reports have surfaced, confirming this. Some of them mention exotic materials among the wreckage, as well as hieroglyphic markings on said materials. Quite a few of them mention the presence of bodies and detail the sense of urgency with which the military operations happened.

 

The vast majority of theories related to this incident explore the possibility of one crash occurring at Roswell but recently, an ex-Air Force official and UFO debunker claimed there wasn’t just one, but two of them happened in a few days’ interval.

 

Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Richard French served more than 27 years in the military and participated in the famous Project Blue Book as an investigator and debunker. His duties involved collecting testimonies from people who had witnessed UFOs or alien phenomena and then shoot down their claims with rational explanations that were sometimes borderline offensive to the witnesses’ intelligence.

 

French was familiar with the procedure and well aware of the risk of something like the UFO phenomenon being confirmed by the military. According to him, they had to dismiss any and all alien theories in order to prevent a global event with catastrophic consequences. The fact that unknown creatures existed elsewhere in the universe and they had the ability to freely move around Earth would have destroyed the structure of religion. The military’s inability to manage this situation would have made them look helpless and the crisis would have further escalated.

 

 

According to French, the first flying object that crashed at Roswell was an alien spacecraft brought down by an experimental US airplane. It was shot and rendered uncontrollable by an electromagnetic pulse weapon. A few days later, a second UFO presumably came looking for survivors and was shot down using the same weapon. He claims to have browsed through folders of pictures and reports regarding the incidents.

 

French says he decided to come forward because the UFO cover-up operations have clearly gotten out of hand. He has faced strong opposition and the US Military discredits him and denies his allegations.

 

Why would an elderly ex-official forego almost three decades of service and come forward with such a statement? Some choose to discredit him and blame old age and a longing for celebrity. Others know better.

 

Regardless of the number of spacecraft crashed at Roswell, one thing is certain: something did happen there in 1947 and great efforts have been made to sweep it and keep it under the rug.

The Weirdest Conspiracy Theory You’ve Ever Heard

It’s no secret that many countries perform secret experiments if the required resources are available. The general populace usually finds out about these experiments long after they’ve finished either through declassified documents or with the aid of whistleblowers. One such case is the Montauk Project..

 

Government officials deny the project ever took place and say the whole account is made up however the original author Preston Nichols paints quite a different story. He has written several books related to this top-secret project after recovering repressed memories of his own involvement. The project took place at Montauk Air Force Station in Long Island and spanned over the course of several decades. Its main objectives were developing new psychological warfare techniques as well as delving into exotic research, such as time travel and teleportation.

 

 

Somewhere in the 1950’s, scientists that had participated in the Philadelphia Experiment decided to continue their research into the manipulation of strong electromagnetic fields in order to achieve and perfect invisibility technology. They prepared a report and presented it to Congress but it was considered too dangerous and rejected. They made a direct proposal to the Department of Defense and promised they would develop an impressive new weapon that induced schizophrenia with the push of a button.

 

The DoD saw the potential and approved the project, imposing total secrecy. It was funded from a $10 billion cache of Nazi gold captured at the end of WWII in France. When it became fully operational, the base had at least twelve underground levels and housed several hundred scientists and military personnel. The facility even extended under the nearby town of Montauk and was connected to other Deep Underground Military Bases ( DUMB) via a vast tunnel network and fast magnetic levitation trains.

 

The first order of business was to abduct orphans and homeless people and subject them to powerful electromagnetic radiation. They wanted to test mind control and brain reprogramming but knew that very few test subjects would survive. Many young boys underwent grueling physical and psychological torture. Those who survived were reprogrammed and trained as sleeper cells that could be easily activated and sent into any mission, following orders blindly without a will of their own.

 

The Montauk Project also enhanced people’s psychic abilities to the point where they were able to materialize objects from nothing. With the help of aliens, they developed a device ( specifically, a chair) which boosted the mental capacity of individuals that used it.

 

The scientists managed to create a time portal which they used to travel in time and space. It was manipulated and stabilized into a time tunnel which was then used to explore underground martian tunnels. There they discovered cultural archives that had been built by a long-gone martian race. They added the information found to their ever-expanding knowledge.

 

 

They used the time tunnel to contact aliens and exchange advanced technology with them, broadening their horizons and their access to hyperspace. On August 12, 1983 they somehow managed to entangle the original Philadelphia Experiment from 1943 and as a result the USS Eldridge was trapped in hyperspace. Two crew members, Al Bielek and Duncan Cameron jumped from the ship’s deck while it was stuck in its inter-dimensional travel and wound up 40 years ahead of their time and very disoriented.

 

The chief director of operations at the Montauk base was Nikola Tesla who had faked his death and lived well into his 120’s. Under his management, complex subliminal message projects and mass psychological experiments were performed. The experiments needed public enforcing and so the ominous Men in Black division was formed, with the objective of instilling fear and confusion among the masses.

 

Usually, conspiracy theories gain traction because they manage to explain what mainstream science can’t or won’t. While something that required secrecy actually happened at Montauk Air Force Station, the events recalled by Nichols in his book pushed the envelope so far it probably ended up in another dimension.

Famous Alien Abduction Report Heads to the Big Screen

Betty and Barney Hill were the alleged victims of the world’s first documented alien abduction case

Gotham/Principal, producers of this Friday’s Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, has partnered with WGA award-winners Bryce Zabel and Jackie Zabel and their Stellar Productions to produceCaptured, based on the rights to the first reported alien abduction that took place 54 years ago this week.

Captured tells the story of Betty and Barney Hill, an interracial couple from Portsmouth, New Hampshire who said they were captured by a UFO the night of September 19, 1961. A black postal clerk and a white social worker, the Hills claimed that, during the alien abduction, they had been studied by extraterrestrial creature, and then returned to their lives with missing memories that were later retrieved under hypnosis. 

The script, to be written by veteran writer/producer Bryce Zabel, will be based on the 2007 non-fiction book “Captured! The Betty and Barney Hill UFO Experience: The True Story of the World’s First Documented Alien Abduction” by nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman and Betty Hill’s niece, Kathleen Marden. That book contains new information and personal details about the case, and the movie will place the events in a context of both Cold War paranoia and the country’s struggle over race relations.

“‘Captured’ is a true story that explores the birth of modern UFO lore through the eyes of the first Americans to report that they were kidnapped by aliens,” says Eric Robinson, who will also produce the film on behalf of Gotham/Principal. “This is an exciting story that is as intriguing, timely and ripe for adaptation today as it was 54 years ago when this incident occurred. We look forward to sharing Betty and Barney Hill’s incredible encounter with audiences all around the world.”

“Betty and Barney were two down-to-Earth people who found themselves in a situation that was literally out-of-this-world,” says Bryce Zabel, the TV creator of the NBC/Sony alien cult-hit Dark Skies, “Ironically, at the time of their abduction, while the country was focused on deeply divided racial issues, it seems like only the aliens never reacted to the color of their skin.”

“The Hills were very much a part of the times they lived in,” says Stellar CEO Jackie Zabel. “They were an interracial couple in a country that still had segregation laws, and they lived in a city that was next door to a bomber base bristling with nuclear weapons. What they knew and why they were targeted will make for a phenomenal film.”

A former CNN correspondent, screenwriter Bryce Zabel, is among Hollywood’s leading experts on UFOs. Zabel wrote Syfy’s first original film Official Denial, worked on the development team forSteven Spielberg’s Taken, and has recently co-authored the non-fiction A.D. After Disclosure. A former CEO/Chairman of the Television Academy, Zabel is also an adjunct professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts where he teaches two advanced courses about writing hour TV dramas.

The Betty and Barney Hill alien abduction case was previously adapted for the small screen as a 1975 telefilm, The UFO Incident, which stars James Earl Jones in the Barney Hill role.

‘Worms from hell’ unearth possibilities for extraterrestrial life

For the first time, scientists have found complex, multi-celled creatures living a mile and more below the planet’s surface, raising new possibilities about the spread of life on Earth and potential subsurface life on other planets and moons.

 

Nicknamed “worms from hell,” the nematodes, or roundworms, were found in several gold mines in South Africa, where researchers have also made breakthrough discoveries about deep subterranean single-cell life.

 

The two lead researchers, Gaetan Borgonie of the University of Ghent in Belgium and Tullis Onstott of Princeton University, said the discovery of creatures so far below ground, with nervous, digestive and reproductive systems, was akin to finding “Moby Dick in Lake Ontario.”

 

“This is telling us something brand new,” said Onstott, whose pioneering work in South Africa over the past decade has revolutionized the understanding of microbial life known generally as extremophiles, which live in places long believed to be uninhabitable.

 

“For a relatively complex creature like a nematode to penetrate that deep is simply remarkable,” he said.

An article introducing the subterranean nematodes, one of which was formally namedHalicephalobus mephisto after the “Lord of the Underworld,” appears in Wednesday’s edition of the journal Nature. H. mephisto was found in water flowing from a borehole about one mile below the surface in the Beatrix gold mine.

 

The research is likely to trigger scientific challenges and cause some controversy because it places far more complex life in an environment where researchers have generally held it should not, or even cannot, exist.

 

Borgonie led the South African nematode investigation largely without professional support or funds. He contacted his future partner with a cold call. Onstott, who began his own deep mine work with similarly limited funds and amid similar professional skepticism, was both intrigued and inclined to help a fellow risk-taker.

 

Borgonie said that although nematodes are known to exist on the deep ocean floor, they have generally not been found more than 10 to 20 feet below the surface of the ground or the ocean bed. But he saw no reason they wouldn’t be found farther down. The nematodes he ultimately discovered live in extremely hot water coming from boreholes fed by rock fissures and pools.

 

In addition to uncovering a new realm of biology on Earth, Borgonie and Onstott wrote that this could have important implications for extraterrestrial research, or astrobiology.

 

Scientists seeking life beyond Earth are intrigued by the possibility that microbes could be living below the surface of Mars, in particular — a planet that is now cold, dry and bombarded by harmful radiation but was once much wetter, warmer and better-protected by an atmosphere.

 

“What we found shows that harsh conditions do not necessarily exclude complexity,” Borgonie said.

 

He said that if life did originate on Mars and if it had sufficient time to go underground deep enough to survive worsening conditions, “then evolution of Martian life might have continued underground. . . . Life on Mars could be more complex than we imagined.”

 

Carl Pilcher, director of NASA’s Astrobiology Institute in California, said that the nematode discovery illustrates the usefulness of research on Earth for learning about possible extraterrestrial life.

 

“It is entirely plausible, in fact extremely likely, that subsurface environments like those described in these papers exist on other worlds in this solar system and in other planetary systems,” he said of the new work and Onstott’s earlier discoveries.

 

“We can now say that worlds with such subsurface environments could, in theory, harbor subsurface life, both microbial and multicellular,” Pilcher said. “That knowledge . . . can help guide us in developing missions and experiments to study other worlds.”

 

At least one of the bacteria species discovered earlier by Onstott and Lisa Pratt of Indiana University lives entirely disconnected from anything on the Earth’s surface or produced by photosynthesis. It uses the radioactive decay of nearby rocks as the energy source to break apart molecules that it then feeds on.

 

Borgonie speculates that the nematodes, which feed on bacteria, traveled through the cracks and crevices of rock in search of food. While they were determined to have lived deep underground for 3,000 to 10,000 years, the bacteria discovered by Onstott was found to have lived at its great depth between 3 million and 40 million years. A major difference between the two appears to be that while the nematodes adapted, the bacteria have evolved.

 

Complete worms, up to one-third of an inch in length, were found in two mines, and DNA of another was found in a third. They were found in water flowing from boreholes in the rock of the mines at depths from two-thirds of a mile to more than two miles. The worms nearer the surface were brought to a lab and survived, while the specimen at the deepest level was a DNA sample from a nematode but otherwise impossible to identify.

 

A primary hurdle the team had to overcome was proving that the nematodes had not come into the mines on the shoes or clothing of miners or through mine ventilation water. The contamination issue was resolved through extensive testing of the soil and mining water, which contains two disinfectant bleaches that would kill nematodes.

 

Borgonie, working with a team from South Africa’s University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, descended into the deep mines about 25 times to collect samples. He said there is good reason to believe nematodes, and other multi-celled organisms, also live deep below the surface of many other parts of the world, and especially below ocean beds.

 

Research into the distribution of underground microbes in recent decades has led scientists to conclude that more than half of the biological mass on Earth is below the surface.

The truth is out there as woman captures footage of 'UFO plasma' melting in the sky

The unexplained phenomenon shot in the US appears to show particles melting into a clear blue sky

It’s a scene straight out of a Hollywood movie - scores of strange unidentified flying objects that appear to melt into the sky.

This video - shot in Hope Valley on Rhode Island on the east coast of the United States - is so odd it's provoking a number of theories online.

The lady who shot the footage is overhead mulling over what could possibly be cause the other-worldly occurrence .

Some space-watchers are convinced the dispersing droplets are caused by UFO plasma melting into the atmosphere.

Top Secret Nazi maps and documents confirm the existence of Agartha — a subterranean civilization inside our planet

Many researchers have also published material about Operation Highjump and Admiral Byrd’s journeys where extremely advanced airships (disc shaped UFOs) were seen flying around and even engaging him militarily. Not long ago, a Top Secret map belonging to the Third Reich was recovered in which there are several secret passages depicted which were used by German U-Boats to access mysterious underground regions, as well as a complete map of both hemispheres and the mysterious kingdom of Agartha.

The possibility that the earth is hollow, and that it can be accessed through the North and/or South poles, and that ancient secret breakaway civilizations flourish within it, has spurred the imagination of people through centuries.  These declassified maps have added fuel to the existing speculation.

It might just turn out to be true after all, that somehow, and somewhere, there is an access which leads to a completely different world, one that has been kept in secrecy for years by our world leaders and post WWII governments.

We have also come across a letter, supposedly written by Karl Unger, who was aboard the German U-Boat 209, commanded by Heinrich Brodda, in which he states that the crew had reached the interior of the Earth and that they did not consider coming back.

The stories above are backed up by maps made by famous cartographer and artist Heinrich C. Berann for the National Geographic Society in 1966. In this map, the Antarctic continent can be observed without its thick layer of ice.

 

But the most intriguing detail are the presence of underwater passages spanning across the entire continent and seem to converge at the exact location which is identified as the opening towards the Hollow Earth or Inner Earth. Here are the official Nazi maps of the inner world:

 

Hitler was obsessed with mysticism and the inexplicable, he was very interested in UFO’s and ancient history, and many of his followers knew that and supported him. The possibility that the earth is at least partially hollow, and that it can be accessed through the North and South poles, and that secret civilizations flourish within it, has gained popularity in recent years. It might just turn out to be true after all, that somehow, and somewhere, there is an access which leads to a completely different world, one that has been kept in secrecy for reasons that are just now coming to light.
