Two UFO sightings in North Bay last year
Two UFO sightings in North Bay last year
The most popular shape of UFO reported in 2016 was a simple point source of light
by: Jeff Turl
The Canadian UFO Survey is out for 2016 and North Bay reported two UFO sightings and Parry Sound one.
The first was on June 18, around 9:30 a.m. when five lights were seen travelling on a path. There was no wind. Two sightings were reported.
The report does not give exact locations.
The second report was on September 25, 2 p.m. A black triangular object with lights around it and making abrupt turns was seen.
The Parry Sound sighting was in the early morning hours of March 3 when two circular crafts were signalling to each other.
UFO sightings are still being reported at a near- record level, according to the survey.
In 2016, 1,131 UFO reports were officially filed in Canada, the fifth year in a row above 1,000 cases but down slightly from 1,267 UFO sightings reported in 2015.
Last year most UFO reports were recorded during the summer with June, July and August having a combined 37.7 per cent of all cases.
Most sighting reports were simple lights in the sky, known as Nocturnal Lights (54.9 per cent), and Close Encounters comprised less than one per cent of the total.
The most popular shape of UFO reported in 2016 was a simple point source of light.
Other shapes reported were Triangle, Ball, Cigar and Fireball.
The classic “flying saucer” was only reported 48 times or 5 per cent in 2016.
While the vast majority of cases reported to UFO groups and official agencies are of low Strangeness, some rather odd incidents are reported each year, the report states.
"Close Encounter cases are definitely in the minority, but some of these cases are extremely close indeed," it said.
A witness in Cornwall, P.E.I. reported that a thin, six-foot-tall, long fingered, white alien in a black suit appeared in his bedroom. The witness spoke to the alien, which then left by walking through a wall.
In One report from Quebec simply stated 'They contacted me.'
This past weekend I spoke at the annual Edinburg, Texas “Out Of This World” conference. The subject: mysterious deaths in the field of Ufology. During the course of the gig, one of the attendees asked – given the various books I have written – if I had a large database of material on UFO-themed cases, witness reports, and so on. Well, yes, I do. So, I figured that today I would share with you one of those reports. It demonstrates the undeniably bizarre nature of certain aspects of the UFO phenomenon. It also reveals how the subject has been manipulated for very strange purposes.
On September 2, 2014, I had an interesting chat with a retired employee of the U.S. Air Force. I’ll call him “Harry Palmer.” He contacted me to share a deeply odd story – and specifically after reading my 2011 book, The Real Men in Black. Palmer’s exposure to the UFO phenomenon occurred below Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. The base in question is a highly secure military installation. It has a reputation for (allegedly) being the home of a number of well-preserved – and some not so well-preserved – corpses of dead aliens, presumably recovered from more than a few UFO crashes. Many UFO skeptics ignore or write-off such claims. Harry Palmer told me he knew better.
It was a winter’s night in 1988 when Palmer (27 at the time) was ordered to report to one particular building on the base that he had never previously been in, one which was connected to a certain weapons-storage area. On doing so, he was met by three very pale-skinned men dressed in dark suits. They directed him to a door which, when opened, revealed a large elevator on the other side. Silently, the black-clad trio motioned Palmer into the elevator. He quickly realized he was descending – and to a fairly deep degree. He was then ushered into a corridor which had a large vault-like door at its end.
One of the three men opened it, and in a strange high-pitched voice, ordered Palmer into the vault. The same man pointed at a large container – perhaps nine feet in length and five feet in width – and told Palmer to take a look inside. He did as he was told and was shocked – to the point of feeling nauseous and clammy – by the sight of a badly-damaged body of what he, Palmer, could only guess was an extraterrestrial. The head was large, the eyes were huge and black, and the severed and small torso was skinny.
Dead aliens
In seconds, Palmer was forcibly taken from the room, taken to yet another room, and then ordered to sign a document which effectively said that if he ever spoke of what he saw he would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law for violating U.S. national security regulations. After signing the document, a worried Palmer was taken back up to the surface and left there to make his way back to his regular place of work.
Clearly, this affair makes absolutely no sense at all – unless someone was playing weird mind-games with Palmer, which I think was probably the case, as I will soon reveal. It’s a fact that UFOs had zero bearing on Palmer’s work at Wright-Patterson. So, why expose him to something so astonishing that, in all probability, he would one day share the story with people – like his family and, in 2014, me?
My view on all this is that Palmer was shown the body (or, far more likely, an expertly-created model) to determine his loyalty. It may have been intended all along for him to see “it.” If Palmer kept quiet about what he saw, he was a good military man and someone considered trustworthy. If he told his family of what he had seen, he was, maybe, a potential security risk and needed to be watched carefully. And if he ran to a Soviet handler, it was jail-time. But, the important thing to remember is that no real secret would ever have been compromised: it was all a ruse and a test of loyalty.
On this thought-provoking matter/theory, Palmer told me he was assigned to a particularly sensitive non-UFO project (a description of which he did not expand on) just five days before seeing the body in the container. With that latter, notable issue in my mind, I strongly suspect that the body seen by Palmer was not real. The whole thing was a staged event. It was designed to see how – and to what extent – Palmer could be trusted.
If true, this saga may very well help to explain some of the highly controversial stories concerning military personnel who have reportedly been exposed to alleged alien bodies in underground rooms (such as the many “Hangar 18” legends attached to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base), and under “convenient” and unlikely circumstances that many skeptical researchers think are just too good to be true. They probably are too good to be true. But not for the reasons that the skeptics think. This case also suggests that intelligence agents might, at times, mimic the actions and creepy appearances of the MIB – which is a story for another day.
When an extraterrestrial dies on Earth and can’t be taken back to the home planet, where do the mourning ETs bury their friend? Would you believe … Ohio? A UFO was spotted…
Well, with Men in Black 3 finally among us, I figured that now would be the time to share with you a very weird story of definitive MIB proportions, which was brought to…
The dark night of Saturday, September 11, 1976 was the decidedly ill-fated evening upon which the Orchard Beach, Maine, USA home of a certain Dr. Herbert Hopkins was darkened by a nightmarish MIB….

UFO enthusiast mysteriously vanishes leaving behind a den filled with secret codes, 14 encrypted books and a statue of 16th Century philosopher who predicted aliens' existence
Bruno Borges, 24, disappeared from his home in Rio Branco in the west of Brazil
He has spent the past month working on a special alien project, his sister said
Psychology student locked himself in his room for hours on end on the project
He covered his walls in code and produced 14 encrypted manuscripts on space
A UFO enthusiast who mysteriously vanished last week left behind a den plastered wall-to-wall with Illuminati codes and symbols.
Bruno Borges, 24, disappeared from his home in Rio Branco in the west of Brazil having spent the past month working on what is being described as a secret project.
In his furniture-free bedroom, police found a £2,000 statue of 16th-century philosopher Giordano Bruno who predicted alien life, 14 encrypted books and signs associated with the Illuminati spread across the floor.

Bruno Borges, pictured left, has not been seen since March 27 and left behind an eerie den where he had a £2,000 statue of philosopher Giordano Bruno who predicted alien life
The student's bedroom was left as a shrine to alien life with codes written on the wall
He has not been seen since March 27, and his father told local press he was last seen in a t-shirt and a pair of shorts and would have had no money nor documents.
Deputy Fabrizzio Sobreira, coordinator of the Criminal Investigation Office (DIC), who is leading the investigations, confirmed to the newspaper Acre TV all possibilities are being considered amid speculation he was abducted by the aliens he obsesses over.
His father, local businessman Athos Borges, told Globo: 'We've tried to call him on his cell phone, but he's off, he's never gone before, he did not take anything and the last time we saw him he was leaving home.'
Student disappears leaving behind a room full of obscure artifacts
Walls in Bruno Borges' den are covered in code and 14 books were found with a different Roman numeral on the cover of each one
Before disappearing, Borges wrote masses of codes on his walls and in 14 different books
The psychology student went missing shortly after his parents returned from a month-long trip, during which he stayed at home with his sister furiously beavering away at his project.
When his parents left, his bedroom was said to be normal, but 25 days later they were covered in coded writing and symbols as well as 14 secret manuscripts, each with a different Roman numeral on the cover.
His sister, Gabriella, said he would lock himself in the den for hours on end and told Gaucho newspaper: 'We were very worried. Now we think he's okay. He has a project, which is the publication of these 14 books. I think he had to do it that way.'
There were 10 UFO sightings in Simcoe County last year, according to a recently released report. There were 12 sightings in the 2015 report.
Since 1989, Ufology Research of Manitoba has released an annual Canadian UFO Survey. And this year's report includes sightings in Alliston, Barrie, Blue Mountain, Borden, Brechin, Innisfil, and Wasaga Beach.
Among the Simcoe County sightings: A grey, oval-shaped object following a plane before disappearing and a large orb that changed into multiple colours that moved slowly across the sky before vanishing into the sunset.
The strangest sighting occurred two nights in a row in Barrie. In both cases, it was a white light flying in a straight path that wobbled along the way before fading out.
Two sightings were spotted in photos. One photo was taken in Borden during an air show. It states there was a strange object with trails behind it.
The second photo was taken in Barrie after a rainbow on Oct. 20. The report just describes the sighting as an object.
The survey lists conclusions in four categories: probable explanations, insufficient evidence, explained, and unexplained.
The two photo sightings were considered to have probable explanations while the other sightings had insufficient evidence.
Across the country, there were 1,131 UFO sightings in 2016. That's a drop from the 1,267 reported the previous year.
Across the country, 21 per cent of last year's reports were considered to have probable explanations while 74 per cent were insufficient, which was a big reversal from the previous year's report where 66 per cent were probable and 20 per cent considered insufficient. The report notes that's because of a "more rigorous evaluation process" this year.
In Simcoe County in 2015, UFO sightings were reported in Barrie, Bradford, Orillia, Port Severn, Lake Simcoe, and Wasaga Beach.

Mysterious Energy Signals From Space: Are Aliens Trying To Contact Earth?
Mysterious Energy Signals From Space: Are Aliens Trying To Contact Earth?
“Earth is a small town with many neighborhoods in a very big universe.” ― Ron Garan, The Orbital Perspective: Lessons in Seeing the Big Picture from a Journey of 71 Million Miles
Scientists have apparently confirmed that there are some mysterious energy signals that are coming from space, which might be indicative of the aliens trying to contact Earth. The astronomers are puzzled by the rare and brief bursts of cosmic radio waves, which were first detected 10 years ago. After researching about the signals, the scientists claim that these are actually coming from the outer world, or space.
Mysterious Energy Signals or FRBs – Fast Radio Bursts
The fast radio bursts or FRBs are the radio signals appearing randomly and temporarily, which makes it all the more difficult to study them and track them. But, what is mysterious about the whole thing is, no one knows what could produce such a short and sharp signal burst.
Some researchers speculate that these signals are nothing but the stars colliding to artificially create messages, while some have a more bizarre explanation that indicates these signals are nothing but alien transmissions. Professor Matthew Bailes, from the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, also claimed this, in a research.
The researchers form the Australian National University have apparently made use of Molonglo radio telescope near Canberra and detected three FRBs. The Molonglo telescopes have an enormous focal length. In 2013, the scientists realised this fact about this massive telescope and its architecture that can be used to pin point FRs. It also has a huge collecting area of 193,750sq ft (18,000 sq m) and a large field of view that is about eight square degrees on the sky. Moreover, this advanced telescope produced an enormous 1000 TB data every day, compared to which, the web pages on wikipedia utilise just 5.87 terabytes of storage.
Dr Chris Flynn from Swinburne University of Technology claimed that the Conventional single dish radio telescopes face difficulty in establishing that the transmissions originate beyond the Earth’s atmosphere.
A new window is now getting opened with the apparent re-engineering efforts. Professor Anne Green of the University of Sydney was apparently excited about the fact that the University of Sydney’s Molonglo telescope, is making useful and important scientific discoveries in partnership with Swinburne’s expertise in supercomputing.
What Did The Research Establish?
In order to hunt down the FRBs, the researchers developed software, which was capable of sifting through the vast information. Apparently, with the use of this software, the scientists were able to track down the likely locations of three FRBs. The data drawn and studied from this telescope concluded that all the three FRBs belong to the outer space, however, only one could be localised to an individual galaxy.
A PhD student at Australian National University, Manish Caleb, who designed the new software, claimed that the key to understand what makes the bursts is to find out where these bursts came from. Till now allegedly only one burst is lined to a galaxy, however, the researchers are looking forward to tracking down more, using the Molonglo telescope, according to a research that was published in the Monthly Notices of Royal Astronomical Society.

Stephen Bassett: Shocking New Intel and Strategies for Disclosure
Stephen Bassett: Shocking New Intel and Strategies for Disclosure
Published on Apr 5, 2017
Stephen Bassett is the executive director of Paradigm Research Group. PRG is perhaps our most important lobbying advocate for Disclosure with a capital "D", that is, public pronouncements by high-ranking government officials revealing the ET presence on Earth. PRG's most well-known initiative was the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, followed by a Political/Congressional Hearing Initiative that began on November 5, 2014. This initiative generated thousands of articles in English and foreign language mainstream print media. Under great pressure from a number of reporters Secretary Clinton, President Clinton, John Podesta and even President Obama made statements in both print and television venues at that time.
Stephen Bassett speaks with Alexandra about how close we came to forcing Disclosure from the White House in 2016. He also explains how a Hillary Clinton presidency would have been constrained to fulfill this promise due to the Clinton family's close connection with the Rockefeller Initiative, and their other pronouncements buttressing public expectations for Disclosure.
Bassett also discusses the history of the US cover-up of UFO phenomena and the ET presence on Earth. He especially points to the critical importance of the "constitutional breach" that occurred between the Eisenhower and Kennedy administrations. The most effective tool of the military-intelligence-industrial complex became "Unacknowledged Special Access Programs" (USAP) which unconstitutionally left the Commander-in-Chief out of the loop on the most important questions of our age. This breach must be rectified for Disclosure to occur.
Towards the end of the interview, Stephen Bassett drops a bombshell, as he and Alexandra discuss the possibilities of Disclosure during the Trump administration. Stephen reveals shocking intelligence he has received concerning events of the next few months. According to him, major political events will soon transpire that will put Disclosure firmly back on track. This is an intense and fascinating interview with one of the world's great advocates for ending a truth embargo that has unjustifiably been in place since before most of us were born.
Stephen Bassett's principle website is that of the Paradigm Research Group (PRG), at http://paradigmresearchgroup.org. This is packed with information and links to crucial documents concerning Disclosure, the involvement of important political actors, and the Rockefeller Initiative. Stephen Bassett and PRG also have a GoFundMe page at: https://www.gofundme.com/EndTheTruthE....
The supposed sighting also included reports of a "rip in space and time" being spotted in a photo of the area after the intergalactic robbery and was one of four Windsor-Essex UFO sightings included in an annual survey from Manitoba-based Ufology Research.
A total of 1,131 sightings were recorded in the 2016 Canadian UFO Survey.
The most common sighting was of "simple lights," which made up more than half of all reported cases according to the survey. Close encounters made up less than 1 per cent.
Other Windsor-Essex extraterrestrial events reported included flashing multicoloured lights that formed a triangular object above a field on Jan. 25, a "slow comet" seen moving across the sky before it broke into lights that changed formation on July 9 and a blue oval that appeared out of a cloud on Sept. 9.

The truth is out there: 25 UFO sightings reported in central Ont. last year
The truth is out there: 25 UFO sightings reported in central Ont. last year
CTV Barrie
People across central Ontario reported some bizarre sightings in the sky last year.
Twenty-five strange objects were seen across parts of Simcoe County, York Region, Muskoka and the Kawarthas, according to the 2016 Canadian UFO Survey.
In total, there were 1,131 sightings of unidentified flying objects reported across Canada.
The reports vary, but carry an other-worldly feel. On March 13, 2016, someone reported seeing two circular crafts signalling to each other in Parry Sound.
In Alliston on April 27, 2016, a report of a grey oval-shaped object following a plane before disappearing.
Someone in Barrie even reported seeing strange lights prior to last year’s ice storm and mass power outage.
In a first for the 28 years the study has been conducted, only four per cent of the sightings could not be explained. Study author Chris Rutkowski said that record-low rating is likely the result of more careful scrutiny of raw report information available.
Summer is the big time of year for UFO sightings and mostly they were simply lights that people saw in the sky.
The provinces with the largest populations had the most reports, so Quebec led the country with 38.5 per cent of the sightings, while Ontario had 26 per cent and British Columbia had 17 per cent.
The most popular shape of UFO reported in 2016 was a simple point source of light (57 per cent). Other shapes reported were triangle (four per cent), ball (nine per cent), cigar (three per cent) and fireball (five per cent). The classic "flying saucer" was only reported 48 times.
As for what the study calls "unknowns," they included such cases as the "gigantic, disc-shaped object with searchlights" that was seen moving over the mountains in North Vancouver, and the boomerang-shaped "cluster of stars" that moved across the sky near St. Thomas, Ont.
There was also the commercial airplane over Toronto that had a near miss with an object while on a routine flight on Nov. 14.
"The flight crew noticed an object directly ahead on their flight path. The object appeared to be solid, approximately five to eight feet in diameter and shaped like an upright doughnut or inner tube," said the study.
"Cabin crew members received minor injuries when evasive action was taken. While the object was not likely a balloon and was suggested to be a drone, it was noted that drones could not fly at that altitude and distance."
The study said the Transportation Safety Board ruled the incident as "a near collision with an unidentified airborne object."
Close encounter cases are in the minority, but high on the strangeness scale.
Those included a man in Cornwall, P.E.I., who reported that a thin, six-foot-tall, long-fingered white alien in a black suit spoke to him in his bedroom before leaving by walking through a wall.
A man in Lanaudiere, Que., said he was transported into a field of plants and plunged into a bathtub "where he was surrounded by three green, big-eyed humanoid creatures who communicated with him telepathically."
Not all close encouters are so dramatic, however. One person in Tecumseh, Ont., reported that an alien stole his sunglasses and belt, while someone from Rimouski, Que., filed a report which read simply: "They contacted me!"
⇩⇩ READ THE DESCRIPTION ⇩⇩ ----------------------------------------------------------
Australia's greatest aviation mystery. Frederick Valentich was a 20 year old pilot who vanished along with his light airplane, somewhere over Bass Strait one Tuesday evening in 1978.
No trace has ever been recovered of pilot or aircraft. But what deepens the mystery is what Valentich reported seeing from his plane, in communications with Melbourne air traffic control just minutes before he disappeared forever.
Canadians saw a lot of freaky stuff happen in the sky last year.
The 2016 Canadian UFO Survey, produced by Winnipeg-based Ufology Research, says Canadians reported a total of 1,131 sightings of unidentified flying objects in 2016.
In the end, however, only four per cent of those sightings went unexplained.
Turns out, there are pretty simple explanations for most UFO sightings. But not all of them.
(Photo: Gettystock)
But this week, scientists confirmed that the most mysterious signal in the universe is coming from space — a positive sign for any Canadians holding out hope that some of those UFO sightings could be other-worldly beings checking in with planet Earth.
More than 20 FRBs have been recorded over the past 10 years, but until recently scientists still weren't sure where they were coming from, or what causes them.
Researchers at Australian National University used the incredibly powerful Molonglo radio telescope to track the origins of three FRBs, and their report says all three signals originated in outer space.
Which brings us back to all those UFO sightings in Canada.
Many might have hard time wrapping their heads around the Ontario report of an alien who stole a man's sunglasses, belt and silver possessions.
Or the sighting in P.E.I. where a "thin, six-foot-tall long-fingered white alien in a black suit appeared in (a) bedroom. The witness spoke to the alien, which then left by walking through a wall."
But who's to say that life doesn't exist out there, somewhere?
Learn more about UFO sightings, and the percentage of Canadians who believe in extraterrestrial life, in our video above.
Manitoba-based Ufology Research, which has conducted a Canadian UFO Survey since 1989, said there had been 1,131 sightings in 2016.
There are some incredible alien sightings described in the report – from a naughty thief to another who walks through a wall.
Ontario had the most sightings at 26.3% while British Columbia had 17.2%.

SIGHTINGS: There were an incredible amount of UFO and aliens spotted in 2016
UFOLOGY RESEARCH
“Some of these cases are extremely close indeed”
Canadian UFO Survey 2016
Quebec had the most UFO reports in 2016 at 38.5%.
The report says: “This is because Quebec currently has several civilian UFO groups, all with active public awareness campaigns and thus receiving substantial media attention.”
And it says the high number of sightings is significant, adding: "This data clearly contradicts comments by those who would assert that UFOs are a ‘passing fad’ or that UFO sightings are decreasing in number."
It’s the alien sightings that make the most interesting reading.
On January 10 in Cornwall, Prince Edward Island, a man reported that "a thin, six-foot-tall, long-fingered, white alien in a black suit" appeared in his bedroom.
He spoke to the alien which left by walking through a wall.
Meanwhile in Quebec, on the same night, a person was transported in a flash of white light to a bathtub.
There he encountered "three green, big-eyed humanoid creatures who communicated with him telepathically”.
He claims he then suddenly found himself at home four hours later with scratches on his body and his eye colour had changed.
Another cheeky alien two days later was reported to be responsible for “stealing a man’s sunglasses, belt and silver possessions”.
And later he claimed a photo showed a rip in time and space.
The report ends by saying: "Close encounter cases are definitely in the minority, but some of these cases are extremely close indeed."

UFO sighting in Georgetown?
UFO sighting in Georgetown?
There was a report of a UFO sighting in Georgetown on Aug. 21, according to the 2016 Canadian UFO Survey from the Ufology Research organization.
Someone in Georgetown saw something peculiar in a photograph taken in August of last year and reported it as an unidentified flying object (UFO).
According to the 2016 Canadian UFO Survey, an annual report compiled by the Canadian organization Ufology Research, an unidentified person sent in an account of a “blue, round object” apparently visible in a photographic image after it was taken on Aug. 21 at 9:18 a.m.
No other details about the Georgetown UFO sighting were given in the report.
About four per cent were considered unexplained, which the report says is the lowest in its 28 years, but does note that classification doesn't imply alien visitation.
"Each case may still have an explanation following further investigation. And, of those that remain unexplained, they may (stay) unexplained but still are not incontrovertible proof of extraterrestrial intervention or some mysterious natural phenomenon," reads the report.
Only 1.5 per cent of the reports were categorized as explained, the lowest amount since 1992.
The report found the majority of sightings came in June, July and August (about 37.7 per cent) and most were reported as lights in the sky (54.9 per cent). In terms of cities, Montreal reported the most (73) while Vancouver (70) and Toronto (65) were a close second and third.
Some of the shapes seen in the reports were triangle, ball, cigar, fireball and the classic flying saucer (which was reported 48 times or about five per cent of the total sightings).
are reported to a number of sources, including the Mutual UFO Network.
Some of the more unusual highlights of the report include a sighting from Cornwall, Prince Edward Island on Jan. 10 where a "thin, six-foot-tall long-fingered white alien in a black suit appeared in (a) bedroom. The witness spoke to the alien, which then left by walking through a wall."
Another from Tecumseh, Ontario on Jan. 12 stated that the witness "reported that an alien entity was responsible for stealing his sunglasses, belt and silver possessions. Later, the witness produced a photograph in which he thought a 'rip in space and time' could be seen."

UFO experts believe live feed from SpaceX Satellite launch mysteriously cut 'due to mystery objects'
It is not the first time a live feed has been dropped and conspiracy theorist believe it was deliberate to allow the UFOs to get off the screen
BY KELLY-ANN MILLS
UFO experts have revealed at least three white objects were spotted on a live feed of a rocket launch - seconds before it was pulled mysteriously from TV screens.
The UFOs were seen by at least 20 observers who have now shared their concerns online.
Cameras were filming at the launch of SpaceX Satellite at Cape Canaveral in Florida.
But it seems the live feed of the launch was cut at the exact time UFOs were seen on the screen, leading some to think the timing of the change of screen to that of a map was deliberate.

The clip was brought to the attention of SecureTeam10 , a group of UFO experts, who investigate the footage and share their findings online.
Secureteam's Tyler said: "This was sent over to me on by at least 20 people who saw this and said 'woah'.
"These are not stars and in no other part of this footage will you see stars."

He adds: "They immediately cut to this animated tracking system, for a few moments, almost as if they are giving it just enough time, for this UFO to move out of sight, before they immediately cut back to the fed of the rocket."
The SpaceX Satellite launch took place on Thursday at Nasa's Kennedy Space Centre. The 23-storey rocket lifted off at 6.27pm local time.

Former nurse Kerrie-Ann Thornton, 37, says her first alleged encounter with an extraterrestrial took place when a dark figure suddenly appeared from the back seat of her car as she was driving on a Sydney highway.
“From then on it kept happening,” she tells news.com.au.
“It made my life hell until I actually learned to communicate with them and then it settled down. “And eight years later here we are.”
Ms Thornton now dedicates her life to serving ‘the greys’ — a “peaceful alien species” she claims to have a contract with. As a self professed psychic medium and telepathic communicator, she says she also has contact with other alleged “alien races” including the Draconians, Reptilians, Annunaki and Illuminati. Ms Thornton, from Harrington Park, is one of thousands of people around the world who believe in the existence of these so-called extraterrestrial creatures which she claims talk directly to her.
She says the purpose of the communications is so the aliens can pass on messages about living and dead people and animals to “help us”.
While some people might call Ms Thornton and her beliefs crazy, she insists she, and they, are not.
“If you want to call me crazy, or I’m just making things up, or an attention seeker, go right ahead,” Ms Thornton says.
“It’s not my business.
“My job and my business is to deliver messages for the ET’s ... it’s up to you what you do with those messages.”
About 12 people, men and women, pay a $20 entry fee and file into the small function room to watch Ms Thornton become possessed by aliens and deliver messages to them on a sunny Sunday afternoon in March.
They meet in an old country-style motel, tucked behind a used car sales business in Campbelltown, on the outskirts of western Sydney.
“You are invited to ask questions about anything, the ET’s themselves, life, the universe, etc and the ET’s will answer all questions,” a pamphlet advertising the seminar reads.
No “security sensitive” questions are allowed. It’s in the best interests of the human race, Ms Thornton says.
It’s the first time Ms Thornton has attempted to lend her mind, body and soul to the aliens she claims to have been communicating with telepathically and in person for almost a decade. She says the aliens will today possess her to deliver important messages to earthlings.
She says she has been preparing her body “mentally, spiritually and physically” for this moment for seven years.
She warns that “everyone will be running for the door” in the second half of her seminar when she becomes possessed or if the aliens decide to appear in the room.
“I’m told they’re going to put on a big show,” she tells news.com.au.
“They’re calling it ‘the Awakening’. They’re going to make a statement.
“I won’t remember the second half after it’s happened.”
Guests are told there is nothing to fear and advised not to be alarmed if they “feel something touch (their) shoulder” or if the medium starts levitating.
“There are 30 plus ET’s in this room right now ... invisible,” Ms Thornton says.
“They’re invisible.”
John Farnham’s ‘You’re the Voice’ starts playing on a small radio at the front of the room. Ms Thornton looks at guests in the front row and tells them: “not my choice”.
“You ready guys?’ she asks the invisible ET’s.

MESSAGES FROM “INVISIBLE ETs”
Ms Thornton starts the seminar by giving audience members individual readings she says come directly from the other worldly entities.
She tells one audience member that her dead grey cat didn’t like the Whiskers meat she fed it and would have preferred the Kitekat brand.
Another woman is asked who “the young child who fell out of a tree and broke their arm” was. She says she has no idea who the psychic is talking about.
Ms Thornton tells another woman that one of the aliens recommends she buys some lotto tickets.
“I had a dream about that last night,” the woman says.
“I will definitely buy some now.”
The guests all appear to share Ms Thornton’s beliefs and that she’s psychic and cling onto every words she says.
She tells a young woman in the audience she was a medieval princess in a past life who now has healing abilities.
“I can feel it when she hugs me as it’s warm,” the girl’s friend tells the group.
Another guest is asked if she has an older brother.
“Yes,” the guest says.
Ms Thornton: “When he was your age was there a car accident not him but could be close friend or family.
“The person driving the other car wants to say he’s really sorry and wants to say it was his fault and please accept his apology.
“He didn’t mean to cause harm was young and dumb.”
The woman she's addressing says this is the first she’s ever heard about her brother being involved in a car accident.
“Who likes fish? Ms Thornton asks the crowd.
No one answers.
Ms Thornton: “Gold fish?”
Silence.
Ms Thornton: “Tropical fish?”
One woman raises her hand: “My brother,” she says.
Ms Thornton: “Tell him to keep a check on thermometer as it’s faulty and you’ll wake up with fried fish.”
She then turns her attention to another young woman in the audience.
Ms Thornton: “You’re having internet trouble.”
Guest: “No.”
Ms Thornton: “OK it might be coming. Just watch your internet server, (the provider is) going through issues.”
After a short break, tea and biscuits, the second half of the seminar gets underway. This is where things are expected to get especially interesting as Ms Thornton attempts to allow aliens to take over her body. It’s the moment guests were warned they might run for the door. She takes a swig of water and shakes her hands like an athlete preparing to compete. She stares intently at the ground, awaiting for something phenomenal to take hold. Nothing happens. So she fills the time instead by relaying second-hand messages from the alleged aliens.

TRUMP, KATE & WILL, AND THE QUEEN
Talk turns to celebrities, royals and politicians and which of them are supposedly aliens or hybrids.
“Is Queen Elizabeth a clone?” one guest asks.
Ms Thornton: “No, she’s not.”
But the same can’t be said for Kate Middleton, according to Ms Thornton.
“She is a draconian hybrid, half woman, half, they’re 10ft tall T-Rex type thing,” she says.
“She’s in the right place to seize power.
“They’ve designed her specifically to be in that position.”
Ms Thornton says the suggestion that the “Queen and Trump are shape shifters is rubbish”.
“They’re not aliens,” she says.
“Trump has no interest in Americans.
“His only interest is gaining technology, gaining power, gaining money and wanting to take over the world, and this is driven by his ties to Putin and the Illuminati.”
A member of the audience raises his hand.
“What is Pauline Hanson?” he asks.
Ms Thornton: “A few people have said she’s an alien but she is not. She is someone with morals andintegrity.”

‘WHY I WAS CHOSEN’
Ms Thornton tells news.com.au she sees the aliens through her “third eye and physical eyes”.
She describes the “typical grey” as being about seven foot tall with “large heads, black eyes, small nose and mouth, skinny necks, long slender bodies and very muscular”.
Ms Thornton also claims to have twice been impregnated by aliens on their “space buses”. She says she miscarried several months into each pregnancy.
She believes she was given the ability to communicate with aliens because of her “rare DNA”.
“It’s something not many people have,” she says.
“And another possibility is that I don’t care what people think. I will do my job regardless of what people think of me.”
Ms Thornton’s mother, who also attends the seminar, supports her claims.
“Her DNA is special,” her mother tells inquisitive guests.
‘THE ALIENS ARE COMING’
As the three and a half-hour session comes to a close it becomes apparent Ms Thornton’s attempt to become possessed by aliens has not worked. Not today. Her seven years of training for the moment has apparently all been in vain.
“I think they have not done that because they have not got their message across,” she tells news.com.au.
“People have understood why they’re here and their messages and I believe that they would have done a possession if people did not believe, if they were challenging what they said.”
News.com.au reminds Ms Thornton that many sceptics will read this story and not believe her claims.
But according to Ms Thornton, that doesn’t matter because all will be revealed later this year.
“They will be showing themselves in the next couple of weeks and months,” she says.
“To everybody. To the world.
“They’re not waiting for the government to disclose their existence they’re going to do it themselves.”
She says the aliens “want people to know when they come they’re not here to harm anyone”.
“They believe that the earth is dying and that we have to go somewhere.”
So what are they waiting for?
“That’s a good question and I have asked them repeatedly that during the afternoon,” Ms Thornton says.

Prescott Lights: UFOs over the First Territorial Capital
Prescott Lights: UFOs over the First Territorial Capital
Public domain
Phoenix Lights, 1997.
Al Bates
On the evening of March 13, 1997, widely scattered reports came in from across Arizona—including Prescott, Prescott Valley and Dewey-Humboldt—of mysterious lights crossing the sky. This phenomenon, now popularly called “The Phoenix Lights,” is still a topic of controversy.
Official explanations—including military flares and Air Force night exercises—leave too many questions for the many who prefer to classify the sightings as Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs). And there were numerous eyewitness accounts that tracked the lights from the Prescott Basin rapidly travelling south toward Phoenix and beyond to Tucson. One eyewitness report from the Phoenix area was made by Arizona’s then-Governor Fife Symington.
But this was not the Prescott area’s only experience with unexplained aerial phenomena. Prescott’s Granite Mountain had a previous brush with another mysterious event on a warm evening over a century earlier. That event was recorded by Daniel Ellis Conner, who was noteworthy as a member of the famed Walker Party and as an early member of the Territorial Legislature and member of the surveying team that laid out the Prescott town site.
Connor’s tale (lightly edited for punctuation) follows:
“On a warm night in 1865, whilst in company of three or four others, in the town of Prescott at or about midnight, my attention was called by someone present, to an unusual appearance northwest toward Granite Mountain . . . It was an exceedingly large transient, luminous body and it was slowly and steadily moving toward the west. It was light and brilliant and seemed to have been suspended in the atmosphere at an equal height of Granite Mountain, the summit of which the meteoric phenomenon appeared to be slowly approaching.
“Like a full moon suspended in the heavens amongst the passing clouds, it gave us ample time to observe its steady course. As it appeared to approach the summit of this mountain eight miles distant, it began to color into an increasing shade of pink, thence to a deep burning passionate red and then burst into a thousand fragments like a bomb-shell against the summit of the mountain and went out. Presently there came upon the night air the deep tone of an explosion, like the low tone of a distant cannon once exploded and then silent . . .
Courtesy Sharlot Hall Museum
Daniel E. Conner, c.1870s. Call number PO-1961P
“I should have thought that we might have been mistaken as to distance in the night, as it was, had not other parties four miles below Prescott and four miles nearer, described it just as we saw and heard it. Its reality thus became the strangest part of it. It may have arisen from the bed of the lake, which has been described previously [by Conner] as lying at the eastern foot of Granite Mountain and subsequently drained. This single instance of any meteoric discovery in Arizona was the only one I ever saw of or heard of in that country and the largest I ever heard of existing in any country.”
Born in Kentucky and trained as a civil engineer at Hanover College, Indiana, before seeking his fortune in the western mine fields, Conner probably rates well as a reliable observer of natural phenomena, although he was lacking in knowledge of extensive impacts on the Earth from outer space such as Arizona’s then-unknown Meteor Crater.
What did Conner and others see that night? It certainly was not “military flares” or Air Force exercises. And this was a long time before UFOs and Extraterrestrials came into the popular lexicon. If the explosion he observed was a meteorite, there may be traces left behind for some adventurous soul to find near Granite Mountain. Until then Conner’s sighting will remain an intriguing but unexplained episode from Arizona’s territorial past.
Conner’s account of the Granite Mountain sighting is contained in his posthumously published book called Joseph Reddeford [sic] Walker and the Arizona Adventure.

More than a dozen UFOs seen in Mississauga, Brampton in 2016: report
More than a dozen UFOs seen in Mississauga, Brampton in 2016: report
Canadian UFO Survey shows there were 1,131 sightings across country
UFO Report
Submitted
There were a total of 16 reports of UFO sightings in Peel in 2016 with 13 in Mississauga and 3 in Brampton according to the 2016 Canadian UFO Survey from the Ufology Research organization.
SIDEBAR
Other Peel UFO sightings:
Brampton, March 17, 4:15 a.m. — "hovering light in the sky, like a star;"
Mississauga, April 22, 11:50 p.m. — "light in the sky moving fast in a sweeping motion;"
Mississauga, May 30, 11:05 p.m. — "disc-shaped object with white lights around its edges, non-blinking, moving slowly;"
Brampton, June 29, 6:27 p.m. — "strange parts of a cloud. Nothing unusual noted by MUFON;"
Mississauga, July 15, 10:45 p.m. — "bright light flying in a fast straight path before making a 90 degree turn and disappearing;"
Mississauga, Aug. 8, no time listed — "disc-shaped object seen in photograph after being taken;"
Mississauga, Aug. 10, 10:30 p.m. — "white light with red and blue around its edge;"
Mississauga, Oct. 4, 5:15 p.m. — "large object observed through window during the day;"
Mississauga, Nov. 1, 8:15 p.m. — "large green object falling in the sky;"
Look to the skies in Mississauga and Brampton and who knows what you will see — it might even be a UFO.
According to the recently released 2016 Canadian UFO Survey, which is an annual report compiled by the Canadian organization Ufology Research, there were 13 unidentified flying object (UFO) sightings in Mississauga last year and three in Brampton.
There are reports that in Brampton on April 23 around 9 p.m. there was a "V-shaped light moving around slightly in the same area changing colours" while in Mississauga near Pearson International Airport on Nov. 4 around 5:22 a.m. there was a report of "two bright lights, one red, one white, seeming to approach (and) slow almost to a stop (before) then suddenly departing."
Across the country, there were 1,131 UFO sightings in 2016. That's a drop from the 1,267 reported the previous year.
Nine of the Mississauga sightings were said to have had insufficient information to make a determination on what they were, according to the survey, while three were listed as having possible or probable explanations while one was categorized as unexplained.
The unexplained incident happened Nov. 16 around 6:10 p.m. and involved a "flat object with lights at each end pulsating and reversing direction, flying at high speed."
In Brampton, two were said to have possible or probable explanations and the other was deemed insufficient.
Only 1.5 per cent were categorized as explained, the lowest amount since 1992.
The annual survey compiles UFO sightings across Canada that are reported to a number of sources, including the Mutual UFO Network.
Since the publication went live last weekend, social media and news media in the West Coast went wild with the news that California is the No. 1 state for UFO sightings.Of course, near and dear to our hearts, New York state is No. 6.
What also has happened has been piles of requests for information about UFO sighting totals for specific counties in specific states. People want to know where their hometown county ranked with 3,027 other counties in the United States. While we didn’t publish that ranking in our book, we did include the individual county total.
Of course, what has been interesting is how people seem to want bragging rights that their home county has more UFO sightings than others. The common theme in this scenario is everybody wanting to be in a county with high numbers of UFO sightings. Who could blame them?
As a UFO researcher and statistical investigator, to me the topic of high concentrations of UFO sighting reports is indeed very important. You’d be amazed at where people assume all the sightings are. Most people are way off.
But as investigators, we looked not only looked at the high concentration areas but also where the UFOs tend to not be. You might ask: What’s the rock bottom county with the least sightings? Actually, there are 300 of the 3,027 counties in the United States. This means 300 counties in USA reported only one UFO sighting each between 2001-2015.
These one-sighting counties encompass 42 of 50 states.Thirteen states had more than 10 of these one-hit wonders and they rank like this: Texas: 32; New England: 22; Kansas: 18; Virginia: 15; Georgia: 14; San Diego: 14; Minnesota: 12; Missouri: 12; North Dakota: 11; Oklahoma: 11; Iowa: 10; Illinois: 10; Kentucky: 10.
We think it is telling where these sighting aren’t occurring. Deep down we suspect that the reasons are very different than the high-density areas.
