An explanation for those mysterious pinging sounds in Canada’s Arctic
An explanation for those mysterious pinging sounds in Canada’s Arctic
The Canadian military has investigated mysterious sounds in Canada's Arctic.JONATHAN HAYWARD/ AP
The theories range from UFOs operating under the ice to the release of methane gas to Russian or U.S. submarines lurking around in Canadian waters.
But one possible explanation for the mysterious sounds seemingly coming from the ocean floor in Canada’s Arctic may be rather straightforward, suggests a U.S. scientist working on project that generates low frequency sound in the far North. It could be ice rubbing together.
Last week, acting on a request from the government of Nunavut, the Canadian military sent a CP-140 Aurora aircraft to conduct surveillance of Fury and Hecla Strait, northwest of the hamlet of Igloolik. Hunters in the area have reported hearing noises ranging from hums to pings to beeps. They say the noises are driving animals away.
Paul Quassa, a member of Nunavut’s legislative assembly, told lawmakers last month the sounds seem to be coming from the sea floor. “The sound that has been heard in the area seems to be emitted from the seabed and underwater,” Quassa said in an Oct. 25 statement.
According to Department of National Defence spokesman Dan Le Bouthillier, the Aurora’s crew conducted “various multi-sensor searches in the area, including an acoustic search for 1.5 hours, without detecting any acoustic anomalies. The crew did not detect any surface or subsurface contacts.” The Aurora crew did observe two pods of whales and six walruses in the area of interest, Le Bouthillier added.
Residents have speculated about various theories for the sounds, including that a mining company may be conducting sonar surveys or that environmentalists may be using some kind of device to scare away animals so they can’t be hunted. Others have suggested the release of methane gases from the ocean floor or clandestine visits by Russian or U.S. submarines.
One of the more prominent theories focused on the claim the sounds were being emitted by a science project in the Arctic funded by the Office of Naval Research in the U.S. That project, called the Canada Basin Acoustic Propagation Experiment or CANAPE, uses low frequency sound to determine how the ongoing changes in sea ice affect acoustics. The project could produce data for use in tracking submarines in the far North.
But Peter Worcester of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California said the sounds being generated by CANAPE are very low and too far away to be heard in the Fury and Hecla Strait. “The signals transmitted for CANAPE are only expected to be above the background ocean noise level out to a range of at most a few hundred kilometers, which is much less than the distance to Fury and Hecla Strait,” said Worcester, who heads the project. “Even if the signals were louder, any underwater sound generated north of Alaska would be blocked from reaching Fury and Hecla Strait by the many islands in the Canadian Archipelago.”
Worcester said he didn’t know what would cause the mystery sounds and is loath to speculate since he hasn’t heard them himself. But he noted much of the acoustic noise in the Arctic is caused by ice rubbing together, cracking, and moving. Early Arctic explorers called the noises the “Devil’s Symphony” with descriptions ranging from buzzing, wheezing and loud bangs.
“You can even get things where the ice hums, where you get sounds that resonate almost like an organ pipe,” Worcester explained. “There was a paper written about the notion there are various melodies associated with the sounds generated by sea ice.”
A spokesman with the DND said the department considers the issue of the mystery noises now closed and there are no plans at this time to send more aircraft to investigate.
A large, unidentified metal object fell from the sky yesterday (Nov. 10) in the remote mountainous region of Myanmar.
The cylindrical object, which is about 12 feet (3.7 meters) long and 5 feet in diameter, blasted into the village of Lone Khin, near a jade mine. Villagers woke early in the morning to a loud boom and vibrations, when the object fell to the ground. Though no one was injured, the UFO ripped through a jade miner's tent, and afterwards, the smell of burning filled the air, according to The Myanmar Times.
"Initially, we thought it was a battle. The explosion made our houses shake. We saw the smoke from our village," Lone Khin villager Daw Ma Kyi told The Myanmar Times.
Aerial object
At first glance, the object looks like it may have come from an aircraft.
"I think it was an engine because I found a diode and many copper wires at the tail of the body," villager Ko Maung Myo told The Myanmar Times. "It also looks like a jet engine block."
However, government officials say that they haven't identified the object and are sending experts to examine it. One former government official with the Department of Aviation said that the image shown on Facebook of the metal "UFO" looked more like a rocket booster than part of a commercial plane.
Just yesterday China announced the successful launch of a Long March Rocket 11 into space, along with five satellites and an experimental X-ray pulsar navigation spacecraft, Spaceflight Insider reported. The XPNAV-1 (an acronym for Maichong Xing Shiyan Weixing), a 530-pound (240 kilograms) spacecraft fitted with solar arrays and two detectors that use X-ray emissions from pulsars to navigate, is meant to identify the locations of spacecraft in deep space.
Space debris is a regular part of satellite and rocket launches. Though the odds of any individual person getting struck by detritus is low, the odds that it hits one of the 7 billion people on Earth is surprisingly high: After the launch of a school bus-sized satellite in 2011, Mark Matney, a scientist in the Orbital Debris Program Office at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, previously told Live Science that the odds of anyone being hit by that debris immediately after the launch were approximately one in 3,200.
Space is littered with junk from past exploration. All told, there were at least 500,00 pieces of space junk marble-size or larger that are orbiting our planet in 2010, though most pieces are on the small side. Of that space junk, more than 20,000 pieces are larger than a softball, according to NASA. In 2012, Switzerland proposed building a kind of space janitor to clean up some of that debris.

'SOMETHING BIG COMING': Claim after NASA 'shut down ISS cameras when UFO appeared'
'SOMETHING BIG COMING': Claim after NASA 'shut down ISS cameras when UFO appeared'
SOMETHING big is about to break in the world of “alien visitations” according to ET hunters following claims of a NASA cover up after a UFO was allegedly filmed by the International Space station (ISS).
UFO conspiracy theorists allege the US space agency shut down a live stream video recording from the ISS, which is 250 miles above Earth, moments after the unidentified flying object was spotted.
In a video, uploaded to YouTube by prolific UFO chaser Streetcap1, a strange white light is seen with a glow around it appearing over the Earth's surface.
The footage then cuts to a blue screen, and it is seen no more.
Streetcap1 said: “NASA cut the camera feed so quickly even though this was very distant, but I still managed to get a couple of frames to enlarge.
“Who else is feeling that NASA and certain governments are getting prepared for something big?”
Glowing images such as this have been caught before by the ISS cameras that have later proved to be lens flares, which occurs when light refracts inside the lens and then appears on the image, or reflections of the ISS itself.
However, Streetcap1 tried to dismiss a lens flare as a possible cause of the latest anomoly.
STREETCAP1*YouTube
The UFO caught on ISS camera and (inset) in close up.
Describing the object, he said: “Unidentified object is brighter on the left side due to the light from the sun – so not lens flare.”
Scott Waring, editor of UFO Sightings Daily, who uploaded the footage, said: "It appears far away but it's not.
“It's actually very close to the space station, but higher up so it appears distant. Excellent find.”
Some viewers of the video believe the alleged cut to the space station’s live stream is further proof NASA is trying to cover-up the existence of aliens.
Eric de Perik said: "NASA is looking more foolish by the day."
Another user by the name of Rob, added: "Good old NASA covering up."
One viewer, Jen Grindle, believes she captured further proof something other wordly was happening with footage of an alleged UFO over Murrieta in California, USA, at the same time as Streetcap1's space station live stream recording.
YouTube
This image was also said to be captured in California around the same time.
It initially said only select pieces of footage would be shown online, prompting one UFO enthusiast to say: "This only proves NASA is trying to hide something from us."
But, clarifying NASA's original statement, a spokesman said: "These change will not affect live video streams from the International Space Station.
"Viewers can continue to see live video as long as the ISS has signal."
The space agency also insists no UFOs have ever been recorded, and the anomalies are lens flares or reflections.
It says the camera goes to a blue screen, only when there is a loss of signal.

Alien 'doorway' discovered on Mercury's surface by conspiracy theorists - but where does it lead to?
Alien hunter Tyler Glockner had his own theories about what the door found on satellite imagery might be - and whether it is still in use
Conspiracy theorists have found what they believe to be an 'alien doorway' on the surface of the planet Mercury.
The rectangular shaped object was first spotted on satellite imagery by Scott C. Waring of UFO Sightings Daily, who claimed it showed proof of an 'entrance' on the planet .
But the video footage was uploaded by alien hunter Tyler Glockner from Secure Team 10, who gave his own theory.
Talking over the clip, Tyler says: "Mercury has been rarely spoken about by the space agencies.
"There has been a question of whether there is a reason why planets like Mercury are rarely spoken about and that maybe that's because they don't want anyone's attention focusing on [them]."
Secure Team
The bizarre alien 'doorway' was spotted on planet Mercury
Tyler points out that the rectangular shape appears to be out on its own with no similar shapes nearby.
But as he further examines the image, he offers an alternative theory to Waring's doorway idea.
"It became clear to me that this is not an entrance at all. In fact, it's something much more magnificent.
"This big, black rectangle? This is a shadow. So then you ask, where's the shadow coming from, and what is casting such a large, long shadow?
Secure Team
Tyler claims Mercury is barely ever talked about and could have secrets
"And that my friends, is this large rectangular object, monolith-looking structure towering up above the surface."
The footage was uploaded to the Secure Team 10 YouTube channel on November 8 and has been viewed more than 238,000 times.
Viewers were divided over the video, with one writing: "It looks like an electrical discharge from something."
But another simply said: "That's a shadow on Mercury, not a doorway."
The fireball rapidly lost height as it 'fell' to earth

Residents were baffled by the huge fireball
According to an expert in the field, the two dark-coloured ships are shown in stark contrast against a bright white moon, seemingly flying side by side.
He wrote on his UFO Sightings Daily blog : “His editing software allows us to see its actual shape…a perfect saucer…two of them.
“There is no way these disks are satellites,” he adds, claiming that such manmade technology would not fly so close.
He added: “These are actual UFOs, flying in military style, because they are flying with a wingman to keep each other out of possible trouble."

Do UFOs exist? Are aliens real? Could there be aliens living among us? These questions have been plaguing us for many centuries, even thousands of years. UFO news 2016reportsclaimed of a “disk-like” UFO passing the moon, raising opinions that aliens were investigating the moon.
HOLLYWOOD STAR CAUGHT A UFO SIGHTING
UFO news 2016 reports on child actress Rowan Blanchard sighting of a UFO in New York City. She published a photo on her Instagram where she caught a UFO sighting on her phone.

Girl Meets World Rowan Blanchardsaid on her Instagram post, “Say what u will but that thing was just appearing in the photo and wasn’t physically there.” Her photo shows an alien-like spaceship glowing in the clouds.” Whether it’s an alien ship or not, it is up to the viewers to decide.
MULTIPLE UFO SIGHTINGS OVER THE YEARS?
Meanwhile, UFO Chronicles posted a tweet about a UFO sighting in 1984 of a “flying saucer.”
Reports claim that aliens have visited our planet and could be living among us, but that has not been confirmed nor debunked yet. UFO Sightings posted this picture of an alien in Twitter with a caption “Area 51 Scientist Smuggles Alien Photograph, Explains On His Deathbed Aliens Are Real.”
Although this has not been confirmed with evidence or declared edited, this is an interesting picture that could possibly reveal more about aliens.

The Courier reports UFO news 2016 of sightings and aliens living among us. It says that the UFO sightings on Falkland specifically “On September 23, 1996, two adults, a teenager and a 10-year-old driving near Newton of Falkland claimed they saw not only a large black triangular shaped ‘craft’ but numerous small grey ‘beings’ in front of some woods.”
There were also reports of aliens trying to contact us. Mirror reports about a Russian telescope receiving alien broadcast signals from outer space.
“A Russian radio telescope discovered the signal coming from a star in deep space, raising the possibility of intelligent life beyond Earth…Strange signals are thought to be coming from the star HD164595, which is located in the Hercules star constellation,” Mirror reports.
There is not much solid evidence about aliens and UFOs until now. The strange sightings still cannot be substantially explained by science as public records can show. Do you know any UFO news 2016 story that seems authentic? Let us know in the comments section.

What is a UFO? Basic Facts and History
What is a UFO? Basic Facts and History
Unidentified Flying Objects and Conspiracy Theories
-
A UFO is technically an "unidentified flying object," nothing more nor less.
Any object that flies and cannot initially be identified as an airplane, helicopter, blimp, balloon, kite, or any other object that normally flies, is a UFO. Many flying objects that are listed as a UFO can later be identified as an object made on Earth, then they can be called an "IFO," or identified flying object.
What is a UFO? Let's Look at the Basics
For many years now, UFOs have been identified as "flying saucers," or disc-shaped objects. But in reality, any flying object — in any shape — that occurs on earth and not readily identifiable as being a natural phenomenon or man made is referred to as a UFO.
The term UFO was created in 1953 by the United States Air Force, according to worldUFOday.com, a website dedicated to sharing factual and helpful information about the subject of UFOs. The US Air Force is said to have created the term UFO to keep track of the the many unidentifiable aircrafts and missiles that were being tested by countries involved in the Cold War.
As a matter of national security, any UFOs seen in the skies were intensely logged and reviewed to keep track of all of these airborne objects being tested during that time.
Even though the term UFO may have been created as a matter of national security, the term has also come to refer to flying objects that may have been created by extraterrestrial life — many people immediately classify UFOs with alien spacecrafts or alien life.
Conspiracy Theories Surrounding UFOs
Many conspiracy theories exist around the topic of UFOs, with many people believing that the government has long tried to hide evidence of extraterrestrial life and their flying vessels. Much speculation has been made around the following reports involving UFOs.
The 1947 Roswell UFO Crash Reports of a crashed alien craft in Roswell, New Mexico left many of the general public feeling that the long awaited proof of extraterrestrial intelligence had come — but hopes were soon dashed, as an earlier statement about a crashed saucer was changed to nothing more than a crashed weather balloon. This proved unbelievable to the public, leaving many suspicious of a government coverup as there were too many witnesses who claimed to have seen the crashed UFOs and alien bodies.
Did President Eisenhower Meet with Alien Beings? Rumors and conspiracy theories point to President Dwight Eisenhower being whisked away in 1954 in a hastily arranged trip to see an alien craft and its wreckage. The location for this alleged clandestine meeting was Edwards Air Force Base.
1980-Cash/Landrum UFO Encounter Two women and one child encountered a craft of unknown origin, and all three suffered not only emotional trauma, but severe physical injury as well in the Piney Woods of Texas, near the town of Huffman on December 29, 1980.
1997-The Phoenix Lights Thousands of people witnessed V-shaped patterns in the sky for space of around 300 miles from the Nevada line in 1996. Numerous photographs, and an abundance of video film make this one of the best documented cases in UFO history.
Every year, new reports are made about UFO sightings all around the world. For more information on other cases involving extraterrestrial sightings read The Best Documented UFO Cases and be sure to read on you if are looking for answers to your questions about UFOs & Aliens.

Here’s a scary thought: If the United States and Russia can’t agree on Ukrainian borders or even the pettiest aspects of cyber security, could the internationally community respond responsibly to an apocalyptic threat?
Though Ted Chiang’s short story “Story of Your Life” is mostly hyper-focused on the exchanges between human scientists and a group of aliens that suddenly descend upon the earth, its big screen adaptation, Arrival, paints a picture — or a mural — of diplomatic madness. In the film, massive alien ships with mysterious occupants land in a dozen countries, including the U.S., Russia, and China, creating an immediate need for human unity and, of course, a lot of narrative-driving tension.
“The loss of U.S. hegemony helped the dramatic narrative,” screenwriter Eric Heisserer told Inverse. “We weren’t the ones calling all the shots. The U.S. doesn’t get to be the leader, the number one domino.”
As expert linguist Dr. Louise Banks (Amy Adams), physicist Ian Donnelly (Jeremy Renner) and their team of military assistants try to establish a line of communication with the aliens, the State Department pressures its ambassadors for humanity to talk faster. Fear makes the issue of extraterrestrial motivation paramount. Military types want to know “why” the aliens have descended upon earth. Are they hostile? Do they want to trade? What are they saying to the Japanese (and can they trust the daily reports from other nationsabout their conversationswith the aliens)?
“There were more scenes in the script; I sketched out conversations between other alien arrival sites, between the London team and one of the Russian teams,” Heisserer said. “I had the Indian Ocean site, which is in international waters, and I asked who is taking charge of that place (spoiler: nobody and everybody). It was a fascinating work of political gymnastics that at at the end of the day just made my head hurt.”
Director Denis Villeneuve’s film didn’t keep all of the scripted international conflicts, but the filmmaker did include looks at how other countries approached communication with the aliens.
“We landed on mahjong as a model of communication that would be an alternative to them learning Mandarin,” production designer Patrice Vermette said of the Chinese government’s attempt to bridge the infinite language gap. “Then we began to realize all the pitfalls and trips that came from using a game with rules and victory and defeat baked into every interaction, and realized how that could undermine all the communication you are trying to do.”
In the film, the Chinese have a more difficult time with the aliens because of this alternate mode of communication, which in turn puts pressure on the American team to decode the aliens’ intentions. The film endorses patience and attempts at empathy over confrontation, policies that become harder to maintain as time goes on — China and Russia in particular inch closer and closer to confrontation with the aliens, which could precipitate an apocalypse for humanity.
Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner in 'Arrival'
Heisserer tried to consider not only what would happen if aliens arrived, but what would happen over time if they stayed. “Every indicator externally suggested that, yes, the longer you had these crazy scary alien ships parked in your backyard and you, as a regular citizen, had no info, the easier it was to buy that you’d be freaked out,” he said. The character of Colonel Weber [Forest Whitaker], is stuck managing an impossible situation: hysterical government leaders and citizens looking for answers, and patient scientists and linguists who see this as the opportunity of a lifetime.
In the version of Arrival that made it to screen, citizens begin to riot and demand information, and, though the United States president goes unnamed in the film, it is clear that he or she has the fortitude to withstand that outcry. Given what we’ve seen in this tumultuous presidential election, with two candidates who promise very different approaches to major crises, it is only fitting that Arrival hits theaters this week.
“For a long time there was a scene in the script where Col. Weber had to deal with the growing crowd surrounding the site of normal citizens who have come to look,” he said. “The tone of that group is more and more violent, the way it is with a certain political candidate in this election. The scene is Col. Weber talking to a sergeant, and the sergeant says, ‘I need 200 more men with assault rifles patrolling the area,’ and Weber says how dangerous it was having 200 armed soldiers next to an alien spaceship. The sergeant says, ‘I’m less worried about what happens to our citizens than what happens to our visitors.’”

SHOCK CLAIM: Nostradamus predicted ‘audacious’ Trump’s victory - and now world could end
SHOCK CLAIM: Nostradamus predicted ‘audacious’ Trump’s victory - and now world could end
NOSTRADAMUS predicted Donald Trump’s election as President of the United States and said it will also herald the end of the world, claim conspiracy theorists.
The Republican nominee pipped the Democrat’s Hillary Clinton to a shock victory in a close race for the presidency of the US.
While many were surprised by the billionaire’s victory in the 2016 US election, followers of Nostradamus would not have been, claiming the prophesier predicted this in the 16th century.
In Century III, Quatrain 81, Nostradamus wrote: “The great shameless, audacious bawler. He will be elected governor of the army: The boldness of his contention.
Donald Trump's election could spell the end, say conspiracy theorists
Many believe that the “shameless, audacious bawler” part refers to Mr Trump’s loud communication, while “governor of the army” refers to being in charge of the world’s leading military force.
In Century 1, 40, another prediction reads: “The false trumpet concealing madness will cause Byzantium to change its laws.”
GETTY
Nostradamus apparently predicted Trump's triumph
Byzantium was an Ancient Greek colony – some have connected this to the fact Greece is becoming a landing spot for immigrants and refugees, a topic that has been at the centre of Mr Trump’s candidacy.
Finally, in Quatrain 50, Nostradamus writes "the Republic of the big city” will engage in costly military operations, ordered by the “trumpet”, which has led to fears of nuclear war.
GETTY
Some believe that a nuclear war could follow Trump's election
One user wrote on Facebook: “I pretty sure this is the start to Nostradamus' prediction of the Apocalypse.”
Another posted: “Nostradamus predicted this outcome. Nostradamus predicted after the trumpet wins, there will be a Great War! He predicted this 400 yrs ago!
GETTY
Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton to become the 45th President of the United States
“His prediction have all come true! I'm afraid America is going fall, compare us to Roma, we have to much debt, and we import more than we export, we are in serious trouble.”
Intelligence that could shed light on the most notorious British unsolved UFO mysteries, including the Rendlesham case from 1980, has been withheld from public view, according to UFO expert Malcolm Robinson.
Mr Robinson, founder of Strange Phenomena Investigations, has collated UFO evidence for years and in 2015 presented a dossier to Downing Street, asking then Prime Minister David Cameron to open an inquiry - something that failed to materialise.
He said: "The governments of this world – including Britain – know far more than they are letting on, that's for sure."
He claimed that a tip off off from a source within the Ministry of Defence suggested that many sightings and files had been covered up.

UFO investigator Malcolm Robinson claims the UK Government withholds information on aliens
He claims the manager of the now defunct UFO desk, Nick Pope once told him: "We don't even tell you the half of it."
The UFO department and hotline was shut in 2009 because it no longer served a "defence purpose" and was taking staff away from "more valuable defence-related activities," documents obtained under Freedom of Information later revealed.
Now declassified documents stated: "The Ministry of Defence has no opinion on the existence or otherwise of extra-terrestrial life."
It also added that, in 50 years, no UFO report had revealed evidence of a potential threat to the UK.
Eight years since the department was culled, Mr Robinson has called for government to launch an inquiry into clusters of sightings, including cold case police files from Bonnybridge, Scotland - a case he has focussed on.
There were more than 300 UFO sightings in the small town in the 1990s.
Mr Robinson said: "The Ministry of Defence have slowly released governmental files about sightings in the UK.
"Declassified documents in the US have also been released which clearly show that the NSA were in cahoots with other nation's governments – and knew exactly what was going on.
The governments of this world – including Britain – know far more than they are letting on, that's for sure.
Malcolm Robinson
"With any given sighting, we check with airports, with the National Security Agency, with the Ministry of Defence and meteorological stations to try and find a rational explanation.
"Some five percent can't be explained."
Earlier this year Express.co.uk revealed that MoD UFO files which had been sent to the National Archives for public release had been sent back for further censorship.

IS WORLD ABOUT TO BE TOLD ALIENS EXIST? UFO pop star says 'big things are coming'
FORMER Blink-182 frontman Tom DeLonge has claimed "big things are coming" in the world of alien disclosure in response to emails that he sent to Hillary Clinton's campaign team which were released by Wikileaks.
The former singer, who quit the group to focus on his interest in aliens, was thrown into the headlines after it emerged he was emailing Mrs Clinton's campaign manager John Podesta, another UFO truth seeker, about the out of this world topic.
In a message posted on Instagram, DeLonge said: "Wikileaks really messed some important stuff up.
"What seems like ridiculous subject matter to most, is of massive importance to admirable National Security Leadership.
"It's easy to poke fun about the topic from an armchair, but unless you're invited to the meetings I have been a part of, then...no more laughing.
"Big things are coming. Project is still on, believe it or not, things just got bigger. #SekretMachines."
Last week, it was revealed by Wikileaks that DeLonge had sent multiple emails to Mr Podesta, concerning proposed meetings and even military whistleblowers he was working with.
In one, he even told Mrs Clinton's team where the remains of the 'Roswell crashed flying saucer' were taken and stored away from public view - claiming it was the Wright-Patterson US Air Force (USAF) base, in Ohio, which contains the Air Force Research Laboratory to develop aerospace warfare technologies, with a budget of around $3billion.
Mr Podesta and Mrs Clinton have vowed she will make public as many classified government files on the subject as possible if she wins the race to the White House.
Two e-mails from Mr DeLonge to Mr Podesta sent last year were released by Wikileaks.
Big things are coming. Project is still on, believe it or not, things just got bigger
Tom DeLonge
In DeLonge identifies a top source, who he claims worked at "where the remains of the Roswell UFO crash" were taken and stored until very recently.
In an e-mail entitled "General McCasland", he wrote that he had been working with the named former military official on the Roswell mystery and hinted he may be about to turn whistleblower.
DeLonge is believed to be referring to Major General William McCasland, who was commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory, at Wright-Patterson, until retiring in October 2013.
Roswell has been at the heart of the UFO scene since in July 1947 the military sensationally announced in a press release it had found the remains of a crashed flying saucer in the desert nearby.

LAST 'PROOF' BEFORE THE 'COVER-UP': UFOs caught on ISS livestream NASA about to scrap
LAST 'PROOF' BEFORE THE 'COVER-UP': UFOs caught on ISS livestream NASA about to scrap
IT COULD be the last time alien chasers claim to capture UFOs buzzing the International Space Station (ISS) before NASA scraps the continuous eye into space.
In the latest claim from ET hunters, a video has emerged showing what appears to be two UFOs monitoring part of the ISS - a day before NASA scraps its ISS livefeed for good.
Footage uploaded by YouTube channel Streetcap1, a prolific watcher of the lifestream, appears to show two unusual objects flying above a progress capsule – which are used to supply the space station.
One UFO buff believes this, and many other similar captures from the livestream, are proof on their own that aliens exist.

It almost looks like a giant spaceship is passing by but the rest of it is being blocked by some kind of invisible wall perhaps using some kind of software.

One YouTube user said: "It almost looks like a giant spaceship is passing by but the rest of it is being blocked by some kind of invisible wall perhaps using some kind of software."
But other UFO experts and NASA say anomalies like these in the footage are nothing more than lens flares or reflections of sunlight hitting the ISS.
Earlier this month, NASA was accused of its biggest alien cover up yet after it emerged it is cutting off live feed cameras from the ISS permanently from TODAY.
The US space agency announced it is no longer going to live stream the cameras which which look 250 miles down towards Earth and out into space via the internet.
Conspiracy theorists immediately called it an attempted cover up.
It comes after a host of UFOs have been captured on the streams by alien chasers and uploaded to YouTube.
They claim NASA was routinely shutting down the live streams than a UFO appeared and has now chosen to axe the camera feeds to avoid having to keep doing this.
The space agency says so far found no evidence of alien life anywhere in the universe and vehemently denies any cover up, saying the live feed was only ever interrupted due to a camera switch or loss of power.

‘Aliens will return to Earth within 20 years’, Chariots of the Gods author predicts

daniken
Erich Von Daniken the author of Chariots of the Gods, was presented with the Stella Citizen Award by Ancient Aliens TV regular Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, at the Princess Anne Theatre, Bafta, London last month.
In a two hour presentation Erich used video clips, computer animations, slides and diagrams to back-up his claim that thousands of years ago there was a war in heaven. He said,
‘The E.T.’s know about us because we are part of their DNA. The Bible speaks of the daughters of men having intercourse with these visitors, and many worldwide myths and legends repeat the same story. These stories always say the E.T.s will return to us.’
Erich thinks this could be in the next twenty years.
The ‘Erich Von Daniken Legacy Night’ celebrated 50 years of his groundbreaking book that dramatically claimed humanoid extraterrestrials visited us in our distant past and caused the building of the Great Pyramids, Stonehenge, the Nazca lines, Stone Age cave paintings, Mexican temples and in more recent times UFO sightings and crop circles.

Evidence of this is contained in ancient Indian religious texts as well as in the Christian Bible, Daniken claims. Erich emphasised that their concept of heaven is really a reference to outer space, so the angels were E.T. visitors rather than spiritual creatures.
Visions by the likes of Ezekiel and Enoch strongly suggest they saw E.T. shuttlecraft and spaceships. After telling NASA scientists at a secret meeting about Ezekiel’s vision, Erich claims they developed a multi-directional wheel from the Biblical descriptions and went on to patent the idea.
After his remarkable presentation he was interviewed on stage, where he confessed that he had always had an enquiring mind and was intrigued by the thought of alien visitors at an early age. He went on to work in the leisure and hotel industry, and worked as a hotel manager whilst writing Chariots of the Gods.
On its publication in the late 1960s it achieved worldwide success, and his books have now chalked up more than 70 million sales. They have inspired Hollywood blockbuster movies, TV series like The X-Files and numerous documentaries expounding his ideas and have become a cultural phenomenon far beyond his greatest expectations.
Media Invest Entertainment announced at the end of the event that they have numerous projects to exploit the Chariots of the Gods brand. These include a Hollywood movie, a TV series, live circus/musical spectaculars, video games and three theme parks. The parks will contain ancient lands and 4-D roller coaster rides with the theme of ancient wars in the ‘heavens’ and the influence of E.T.s on human civilisation. There are immediate plans for a site in Berlin, Germany, and a much larger scale one in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, scheduled to open in 2020. There are also plans for one in the U.K.
Erich’s life has gone full circle from working in the leisure industry to be the inspiration for an whole Chariots of the Gods leisure franchise. This and his books will be a lasting legacy for his work, and he is pleased about this as he says he does not want to be an icon for a cult following.
As this event, which was streamed live worldwide, showed Erich’s life has truly been a roller-coaster.

Mysterious 'ping' sound from sea floor baffles Igloolik
Hunters pack their boat from the shore in Igloolik. The mysterious sound has been noted by hunters in the area of Hecla and Fury Strait, a rich hunting ground that they say was empty this year. (Nick Murray/CBC)
Mysterious 'ping' sound from sea floor baffles Igloolik
Sometimes called a beep, a ping, or a hum, the sound is blamed for scaring away animals
Jimmy Thomson Reporter
Jimmy Thomson is a videojournalist based in Hay River, NT. He graduated from UBC's Graduate School of Journalism after earning a B.Sc. in biology at St. Francis Xavier University. You can find him on Twitter at @jwsthomson.
Hunters in a remote community in Nunavut are concerned about a mysterious sound that appears to be coming from the sea floor.
The "pinging" sound, sometimes also described as a "hum" or "beep," has been heard in Fury and Hecla Strait — roughly 120 kilometres northwest of the hamlet of Igloolik — throughout the summer.
Paul Quassa, a member of the legislative assembly, says whatever the cause, it's scaring the animals away.
"That's one of the major hunting areas in the summer and winter because it's a polynya," an area of open water surrounded by ice that's abundant with sea mammals, he said.
"And this time around, this summer, there were hardly any. And this became a suspicious thing."
The noise is "emanating from the sea floor," according to remarks Quassa made last month in the Nunavut legislature.
The sound appears to come from the sea floor in Hecla and Fury Strait. Northeast of Igloolik is Steensby Inlet, where Quassa says Baffinland, owner of the Mary River mine, has been doing sonar surveys. The company says it has no equipment in the water. (CBC)
Another area MLA, George Qulaut, said he visited the site after hearing the reports. Though he wasn't able to hear the sound — he says years of hunting have left him nearly deaf, especially to high-pitched sounds — he did notice the lack of wildlife.
"That passage is a migratory route for bowhead whales, and also bearded seals and ringed seals. There would be so many in that particular area," he told CBC News, recalling his own days of hunting there.
"This summer there was none."
Boaters aboard a private yacht passing through the area also say they heard the mysterious sound, and described it during an appearance on a community radio show upon their arrival in Igloolik. A number of people called in to say they'd also heard it.
The noise can apparently be heard through the hulls of boats. CBC News has not heard the noise and did not speak to anyone who claims to have heard it.
Theories abound
Nobody seems to know where the sound comes from, but theories — from environmental activists to mining — abound.
One theory blames Baffinland Iron Mines Corporation. The company has previously conducted sonar surveys of nearby Steensby Inlet in conjunction with its Mary River mine southwest of Pond Inlet. But the company told CBC News it is not conducting any surveys in the area, and has no equipment in the water.
Quassa says no territorial permits have been issued for work — such as construction, blasting or hydrography — in the area that could explain the noise.
He also says some of his constituents suspect the sound is being generated on purpose by Greenpeace to scare wildlife away from the rich hunting ground. The organization has a tense past with Inuit stemming from its opposition to the seal hunt in the 1970s and 1980s.
George Qulaut, MLA for Amittuq and Speaker of the Nunavut Legislative Assembly, travelled to the hunting grounds where hunters said the sound was scaring wildlife away. He saw 'only seabirds. Not a single seal.' (Submitted)
"We've heard in the past of groups like Greenpeace putting in some kinds of sonars in the seabed to get the sea mammals out of the way so Inuit won't be able to hunt them," Quassa said.
These rumours, though persistent, have never been substantiated.
"Nobody has ever seen any type of ship or anything going through that area and putting something down," Quassa said.
Greenpeace denies the assertion.
"Not only would we not do anything to harm marine life, but we very much respect the right of Inuit to hunt and would definitely not want to impact that in any way," Farrah Khan, a spokeswoman for the organization, said from Toronto.
Military investigating
The military is also aware of the noise, and says it is looking into it.
Internal correspondence between sources in the Department of National Defence, obtained by CBC News, suggest submarines were not immediately ruled out, but were also not considered a likely cause.
A spokesperson told CBC News the armed forces are investigating.
"The Department of National Defence has been informed of the strange noises emanating in the Fury and Hecla Strait area, and the Canadian Armed Forces are taking the appropriate steps to actively investigate the situation," a spokesperson wrote in a statement.
Igloolik is about 70 kilometres north of Hall Beach, an active military site that was once part of the now-defunct DEW line of radar stations.
In the meantime, Qulaut is worried about the sound's impact on game animals that have been feeding in the area for centuries. For now, the community has no answers about the sound, its origins, or what it might be doing to the animals.
"As of today, we're still working on it," he said.
The Royal Canadian Navy is sending a ship to determine if a diver has discovered "the lost nuke" — a Mark IV bomb that went missing after a U.S. bomber crashed off B.C.'s North Coast in the early days of the Cold War.
Sean Smyrichinsky found the mystery object during a recent diving trip near Banks Island.
My god, I found a UFO. I found the strangest thing I'd ever seen!-Sean Smyrichinsky
"I got a little far from my boat and I found something that I'd never ever seen before," he recalled. "It resembled, like, a bagel cut in half, and then around the bagel these bolts molded into it."
When he got back to the ship he tried to describe the object to his crew.
"I came out from the dive and I came up and I started telling my crew, 'My god, I found a UFO. I found the strangest thing I'd ever seen!'"
The 'lost nuke'
Smyrichinsky started asking around and was told the story of Convair B-36B, a U.S. Air Force bomber that crashed off B.C. in 1950.
In a book published earlier this year, historian Dirk Septer traces the story of that flight, summarizing it in publicity documents as a Cold War drama:
"Just before midnight on February 13, 1950, three engines of a US Air Force B-36 intercontinental bomber caught fire over Canada's northwest coast. The crew jumped, and the plane ditched somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Almost four years later, the wreck of the bomber was found accidentally in a remote location in the coastal mountains of British Columbia, three hours' flying time in the opposite direction of where it was supposed to have crashed.
"After years of silence, the United States finally admitted to losing its very first nuclear bomb; the incident was its first Broken Arrow, the code name for accidents involving nuclear weapons. But was the bomb dropped and exploded over the Inside Passage, or was it blown up at the aircraft's resting place in the mountains?"
The lost bomb was a Mark IV. As soon as Smyrichinsky looked it up on Google Images, he recognized it as the object he had found.
"It was a piece that looked very much like what I saw," he said. "The plane that was carrying the bomb, it crashed 50 miles south of where I found that object."
"What else could it possibly be? I was thinking UFO, but probably not a UFO, right?"
Probably not nuclear
Major Steve Neta of the Canadian Armed Forces confirmed the location of Snyrichinsky's find does coincide with the site of the 1950 crash.
Neta also said records indicate the lost bomb was a dummy capsule, and so there is little risk of the object being a nuclear weapon.
"Nonetheless, we do want to be sure and we do want to investigate it further," he said.
The Royal Canadian Navy ship deployed to investigate should arrive in the area in the next few weeks.

Canadian Navy to investigate mysterious find at the bottom of Pacific Ocean
The Royal Canadian Navy is preparing to dispatch one of its warships later this month to investigate a mysterious object found by an intrepid diver in the waters off the coast of British Columbia.
Sean Smyrichinsky found the mystery object during a recent diving trip near Banks Island.
“I got a little far from my boat and I found something that I’d never ever seen before,” he said in an interview with the CBC’s Daybreak North program. “It resembled, like, a bagel cut in half, and then around the bagel these balls all cut into it, molded into it… It was the strangest thing that I had ever seen.”
(click to listen to a clip of Sean Smyrchinsky’s interview with the CBC’s Daybreak North program)
When Smyrichinsky started asking around from more veteran divers about possible origins of the strange object, he was told the story of Convair B-36B, a US Air Force bomber that crashed off B.C.’s north coast in 1950.
When the boat he was on finally came into a cell reception area, Smyrichinsky was finally able to do some online sleuthing of his own. He found out that the bomber and its crew of 17 people was carrying a nuclear bomb, a Mark IV, which was never found after the plane crashed.
As soon as he looked up Google images of Mark IV the resemblance with the object he saw at the bottom of the ocean was obvious, Smyrichinsky said.
“It was a piece that looked very much like what I saw, a big circle with these balls,” Smyrichinsky said. “I had no idea that a nuclear bomb contained all these big balls, bigger than basketballs.”
The Convair B-36B had crashed about 50 miles south of where he found the object, Smyrichinsky said.
“That’s what really set me off,” Smyrichinsky said. “Wow! I’m right in the right area, and it looks like it could be a piece of that thing, there is nothing else like that. What else could it possibly be? I was thinking a UFO, but probably not a UFO, right?”
Lt. (N) Greg Menzies, a spokesman for the Royal Canadian Navy, said Canadian military experts are working in close collaboration with their U.S. colleagues to determine what the object is.
(click to listen to the full interview with Lt. (N) Greg Menzies)
The navy plans to dispatch HMCS Yellowknife, a coastal defence vessel, around the third week of November to conduct an investigation, Menzies said. The navy will take Smyrichinsky on board HMCS Yellowknife with them so he can pinpoint the location of his find.
The navy will deploy a small remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that can take still and video images of objects on the ocean floor, Menzies said.
“What we will also do we will also embark a small team from Fleet Diving Unit Pacific who are very well versed in operating this kind of equipment and they will provide explosive ordinance oversight in determining what the object is when they do in fact find it,” Menzies told RCI.
Based on information provided by the U.S. military the object is most likely from the 1950 crash of the B-36B bomber, but records indicate the lost bomb was a dummy capsule and so there is little risk of the object being a nuclear weapon and posing an environmental hazard, Menzies said.
“At this point I can tell you that there is no nuclear material on this particular item and we have been confirmed that it’s actually a dummy capsule,” Menzies said.

Ohio witness suffers memory loss after UFO encounter
Ohio witness suffers memory loss after UFO encounter
An Ohio witness at Orwell recalled a UFO encounter from 2007 that appeared to trigger a temporary memory loss, according to testimony in Case 79781 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness first saw a black triangle UFO hovering over a bridge near Orwell, OH. Pictured: Orwell, OH.
(Credit: Google)
At 9 p.m. on October 10, 2007, the witness was on his way to work at a cabinet factory in Orwell, Ohio, a temp service position he had held for nearly three months.
“I was on the highway and was approaching a bridge,” the witness stated. “Ahead of the bridge I saw a big black, triangle craft with white lights in each corner and one red in the center. It was big enough and close enough that it blocked the sky out.”
The witness moved closer to the object.
“As I approached it, it was just sitting there hovering probably only about 100 feet above the trees and took up both sides of the highway. When I looked up as I drove under it, the red light was right above me. I have never seen anything like it.”
The witness quickly lost sight of the object. Pictured: Orwell, OH.
(Credit: Google)
The witness momentarily looked away.
“Then I remember looking in my rearview mirror and it moved off to the right very slowly. And when I tried to look back again, it was gone.”
The witness then experienced a memory loss.
“The weirdest part that bothers me to this day is that I could not remember where I was. I knew I was trying to get to work, but all the sudden had no clue where I was and I had driven this route by memory for almost 90 days. I ended up getting off at a wrong exit and got back on the highway trying to figure out how to get back home. I finally saw a sign that said Youngstown, which was kinda by where I lived in Warren, so I got off there and found my way back home and never went back to work there.”
The witness decided not to share his story.
“I was staying with my father at the time and knew I couldn’t tell him that, so I told him that I was let go from the job through the temp service. To this day I have no idea how I could have forgot how to get to work. It was like I felt funny and couldn’t make a clear thought. I’ve come to this website before, but could never bring myself to fill this out, but I think I just want people to know and maybe someone knows what it was. Thank you.”
The witness suffered a memory loss immediately after the sighting. Pictured: Orwell, OH.

Mysterious green light 'fireball' spotted in Japan sky
Mysterious green light 'fireball' spotted in Japan sky
Strange green lights were spotted in JapanCREDIT: NHK / YOUTUBE
Amysterious green light recorded travelling at speed over Japan has attracted the attention of curious UFO watchers.
The green object was captured by a Nippon TV affiliate weather camera in eastern Japan and released by NHK to add to the spooky sightings on Halloween night.
So have the little green men from outer space been captured on camera? Astronomers believe they might have a more normal explanation for the emerald green ‘orb’.
An astronomer told NBC the bright lights could be a very bright meteor known as a ‘fireball’.
“A fireball is another term for a very bright meteor, generally brighter than magnitude -4, which is about the same magnitude of the planet Venus in the morning or evening sky,” explains the American Meteor Society.
“A bolide is a special type of fireball which explodes in a bright terminal flash at its end, often with visible fragmentation”
The astronomer also suggested the green light could have been space debris re-entering the atmosphere, however no evidence has been found on the ground, the BBC reports.
Malcolm Robinson, a founder member of Strange Phenomena Investigations (SPI), believes there is a normal explanation for 95 per cent of UFO sightings.
“We are only talking about a small 5 per cent that can’t be explained and three per cent of the five could be our own black budget technology,” he explained at a recent talk on UFOs.
