The Betty and Barney Hill Alien Abduction Case: Not What it Seems to Be?
On March 8 of this year I wrote an article here at Mysterious Universe titled “All About Those Flaming UFOs! Literally Flaming!” The article was focused on why I concluded that aliens from faraway worlds would never soar around our skies by using something so primitive (for them) as chemical-rocketry. It’s this particular issue that made me conclude both the Lonnie Zamora “UFO landing” of 1964 and the Cash-Landrum UFO-Helicopter affair of December 1980 – both of which involved crafts spewing out flames – had terrestrial origins. Clearly, there was no highly-advanced technology involved. That means the craft were built and flown by us – and not by incredibly advanced extraterrestrials. In fact, when it comes to looking at matters carefully, it’s ridiculous to even consider that either craft (and crew) came from another planet. The “ridiculous” angle also comes into play when we take a look at the most famous “alien abduction” of all time: the Betty and Barney Hill incident of September 1961. In my view, the Hills had an encounter with humans – almost certainly connected to something akin to the controversial MK-Ultra program that began in the early 1950s.

One of those who came to believe that the Hills had been subjected to an MK-ULTRA-type encounter was the late Philip Coppens. He said: “It is clear that the Hills were being monitored by USAF [U.S. Air Force] Intelligence before the encounter took place, through Major James MacDonald, who had befriended them some time earlier. Betty Hill wrote to [UFO researcher / author] Donald Keyhoe who, despite the fact that he received over a hundred letters a day, homed in on this initially unremarkable case. Within twenty-four hours, Keyhoe had arranged for the Hills to be visited by top-level scientists, including C.D. Jackson, who had previously (definitely not coincidentally) worked on psychological warfare techniquesfor President Eisenhower [italics mine]. Stretching coincidence far beyond breaking point, Jackson already knew Major MacDonald, with whom he next interviewed the Hills.” Philip continued on: “It seems that Betty and Barney Hill were at the center of a web that involved USAF Intelligence and top military experts in psychological warfare.The evidence suggests that the Hills were the subjects – victims – of a psychological experiment[italics mine].”
More on the matter of ridiculous things, there’s the so-called “Star Map” that Betty was shown on-board the “UFO.” Without doubt, one of the most important – if not, arguably, the most important – of all so-called “alien abduction” cases is that of Betty and Barney Hill, who underwent such an experience in 1961, and who, it can be justifiably said, kick-started abduction research of the type that, today, has come to typify the subject. One of the most important aspects of the story – which, many have asserted, proves the Hill’s encountered real aliens – is that relative to the “Star-Map” that the crew generously showed to Betty. It is the saga of this map that pretty much convinced whole swathes of Ufology that the mysterious abductors were the denizens of a light-years-away locale: Zeta Reticuli. The late Stanton Friedman championed the map in his lectures.
A map? Really? Can you imagine, even in the earlier years of NASA’s space-program, a scenario where – while traveling to the Moon in 1969 – the crew of Apollo 11 took to the skies amid a conversation that went something like this: “Get the map out; we need to see where we’re going.” Such a scenario is manifestly idiotic. And, yet, we’re expected to believe the Hill’s aliens used such ancient means of navigation in a journey to and from another star-system, never mind just to the Moon and back. Now, I don’t dispute that Betty was shown such map-like imagery; but, in my view, the reason for doing so was purely theatrical. The entire event was carefully stage-managed. It was done to convince Betty and Barney that the entities were extraterrestrial. But, as a result of claiming to utilize such a ridiculously outmoded means of navigation, the visitors successfully rendered themselves as laughable and illogical as their simplistic map itself. My conclusion on all of this? I’ll tell you: that nothing less than some kind of home-grown mind-control operation was afoot. And it had nothing to do with aliens.

For more than a decade, scientists have been working to unravel the mysteries of so-called “fast radio bursts” (FRBs), which are sudden and unexplained radio pulses that are mostly observed in distant galaxies.
These bizarre bursts, which last for mere milliseconds and sometimes repeat in odd patterns, have inspired explanations ranging from pyrotechnic interactions between exotic stars to signs of extraterrestrial intelligence.
Now, astronomers have managed to probe a repeating burst at the shortest timescales ever, meaning that a team studied its signature at tiny periods of just 3 to 4 microseconds within those millisecond pulses. This unprecedented analysis revealed a newly observed “microstructure,” or a pattern of variable brightness, revealing that the new technique “can unveil clues into [FRB] emission physics,” according to a study published on Monday in Nature Astronomy.
A team led by Kenzie Nimmo, a PhD student at the Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy at the University of Amsterdam, obtained this “high-time-resolution” data from the European Very Long Baseline Interferometry Network, a vast network of radio telescopes that spans four continents. Their target was FRB 180916, a curious repeating burst that operates on a cycle of 16 days; it actively bursts for four days and goes quiet for 12 days.
“The microstructure that we refer to in the [study’s] title is that we see the brightness of the burst itself vary on microsecond timescales,” said Nimmo in an email. She also noted that the polarized properties of the burst also fluctuate at the microsecond level.
The results are interesting, Nimmo added, because these “short timescale brightness variations strongly constrain the size of the FRB emission region, which dictates what models can work for producing FRBs.”
In other words, studying an FRB at very short timescales provides a means of zooming into the physical space around the unknown source of these radio pulses. The microsecond resolution achieved by Nimmo and her colleagues enabled them to determine that the size of the emission region, meaning the area that is creating these pulses, is about a kilometer (0.62 miles) in scale.
What makes this finding so impressive is that the source of the burst is located some 457 million light years away from Earth. While that actually makes FRB 180916 relatively close compared to other FRBs, it is still mind-boggling Nimmo’s team has captured kilometer-scale details from such an enormous intergalactic distance.
Scientists have previously captured details of FRBs at timescales of about 20 to 30 microseconds, which makes the new study about 10 times more precise than anything before it. At this resolution, the team could make out interesting details about the “polarization position angle” (PPA), which is the angle at which the burst’s polarized light oscillates. This property is important for figuring out details about the FRB source’s spin, and how close the radio emission is to its source, which can in turn shed light on its possible identity.
“We noticed that on very short timescales (less than 100 microseconds or so), we see small variations in the PPA,” Nimmo said. “This could mean that we are starting to resolve the rotation of whatever object is producing FRBs.”
Based on their results, the researchers think that neutron stars, a type of extremely dense dead star, are “the most compelling progenitor model for FRBs,” Nimmo added. These roiling balls of compact matter contain more mass than the Sun, yet they are only about 12 miles in diameter.
As a consequence, neutron stars are extremely volatile and could be capable of the type of extreme radio outbursts seen in FRBs. Indeed, a weak radio burst within our own galaxy, the Milky Way, was traced back to a special type of highly magnetized neutron star located about 30,000 light years from Earth.
Some models of FRBs suggest that their radio pulses originate close to the star, within its magnetosphere, while others suggest that the emission is the result of a relativistic shock that occurs further away from the source, Nimmo said. This new high-time-resolution study favors the former scenario, in which the emission emerges close to the neutron star.
The repeating periodicity of FRB 180916, meanwhile, hints that it may originate in a binary system that contains a precessing (wobbling) neutron star and a massive star that share an orbital period of 16 days. When these objects are closest to each other during this orbit, interactions between them could amplify the bursts, causing the four-day period of activity that we see on Earth.
Ultimately, Nimmo and her colleagues hope to study these mysterious bursts at even shorter timescales, though she notes that pushing these temporal limits will involve a host of observational and data-volume challenges. That said, the payoff could be huge: it’s possible that this line of research could reveal that one-off FRBs might actually be repeaters, assuming scientists can look at them closely enough, in addition to a range of other possible breakthroughs.
“In our study we measure a range of timescales from microseconds to milliseconds and suggest that this might be characteristic of repeating FRBs, so searching for this range of timescales in the future could be a way to identify a repeating FRB (from a non-repeating FRB),” Nimmo said.
“This is very important as it is still debated whether repeating and non-repeating FRBs are the same thing, or if they come from different progenitors/emission physics,” she added. “Having identifiers to distinguish between them, as opposed to simply observing multiple bursts, is invaluable both for our understanding of them, but also to help future observations be more lucrative by studying sources that ‘look’ like repeaters.
Ever seen a silent helicopter? An airplane that doesn’t emit any kind of sound? And how about a strange, unidentified craft in the skies that makes not even a bit of noise? Most people haven’t. But, even so, a sizeable number have. And that’s the theme of today’s article. I’ll begin with a case that dates back to the 1990s. The UK’s Salisbury Times newspaper – on August 23, 1994 – reported on a sighting of a strange craft seen not at all from Stonehenge. The staff of the publication wrote: “A green flying saucer hovered beside the A303 road at Deptford last week – according to a lorry driver who rushed to Salisbury police station in the early hours of the morning. The man banged on the station door in Wilton Road at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday after spotting the saucer suspended in mid-air. ‘He was 100 per cent convinced it was a UFO,’ said Inspector Andy Shearing. The man said it was bright green and shaped like a triangle with rounded corners. It also had green and white flashing lights. Other drivers had seen it and were flashing their car lights at him.

A patrol car took the driver back to the spot but there was no trace of the flying saucer. Inspector Shearing said police had been alerted about similar sightings in the same area in the past.” Although the Times called the object a “flying saucer,” the description of it being “shaped like a triangle with rounded corners,” sounds very much like a highly-classified aircraft known as the TR-3A. It’s also a near-perfect description of equally unidentified aircraft that have become known within Ufology as “Flying Triangles.” But here’s the most important issue: the witness reported that the object he saw was “suspended in mid-air.” This is particularly fascinating, as there are longstanding rumors that the TR-3A has hovering capabilities. Apparently, the craft has the ability to fly in silence, too, since in this case the vehicle made no sound at all.
In 1995, the U.S. magazine, Aviation Week and Space Technology, published an article (Vol. 142, No. 6) which, in part, stated that, “…the U.S. military has been working for years on at least two helicopter projects. The more recent is [the] development of a light, very quiet helicopter [italics mine] with a mast-mounted sight.” One of those who had uncovered certain, classified data on this particular Nevada-based program was a conspiracy-theorist named Jim Keith, who died in 1999. The issue of the silent helicopters was one which particularly intrigued Keith. After all, helicopters are known for their deep, thump-thump sound. So, to encounter a helicopter that is near-silent – or, perhaps, even completely silent – would be amazing, indeed. In pursuing the tales of the silent copters, Keith found himself repeatedly pointed in the direction of Nevada. By now, you know the specific stretch of Nevada: Area 51. In February of 1995, the Las Vegas Review-Journal newspaper ran an article titled “Ex-Worker Describes Stealth Copter.” It was written by a journalist named Susan Greene. Commenting on all of this, Keith said: “According to statements of a former worker at Groom Lake Air Force Base, a black budget stealth helicopter was being tested at this facility as early as 1990. The code name for the helicopter was ‘T.E.K,’ which stood for ‘Test and Evaluation Project K.’”
Under the terms of the U.S. Freedom of Information Act, the Defense Intelligence Agency has declassified several hundred pages of documentation on UFOs. Of course, the file does not contain any kind of definitive smoking-gun. It does, however, provide the reader with more than a few intriguing reports on notable incidents. One such incident, described in the DIA’s files, occurred in the summer of 1979. The DIA documentation notes that late on the afternoon of August 8, 1979, “…the Embassy here received information that a strange object had been found on a farm near Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Source stated that the object was about 70 centimeters in diameter and two meters in circumference with a hole in one side and a metal skin covering of approx one-half inch thickness. Later the object was described as ‘about three times the size of a basketball.'” A second fireball fell from the sky early in the morning of the same day that the first one was found near Cotoca. This second one was found 200 kilometers north of the city of Santa Cruz on the farm of Juan Saavedra by the Campesino Gonzalo Menacho Viveras. The place is in the area of Buen Retiro near the Yapacane River. According to the information given by the Campesino, around 12:30 a.m. on Friday last week he heard a loud whistling sound and saw a fireball followed by an explosion. He said that the next eveninga silent aircraft that had three lights was flying over the explosion area.”
In all probability, none of those silent craft were extraterrestrial craft. The likelihood is they were highly-advanced vehicles of scientists and military agencies. In other words, facilities around the world are clandestinely flying craft in our skies that the rest of us know nothing about.
If you believe (or at least want to believe) that fast radio bursts (FRBs) are communications signals from intelligent extraterrestrials, then perhaps you can help astronomers interpret the meaning of a new discovery – measuring at the shortest timescales ever, they’ve found unusual variations in the brightness that allows them to precisely pinpoint not only their source but also the size of the source … and it’s small enough to move the needle for many a bit closer to “It’s aliens!” Is it?

In a Vice interview on a paper published in the journal Nature Astronomy that she co-authored, Kenzie Nimmo, a PhD student at the Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy at the University of Amsterdam, describes how her team used data from the intercontinental European Very Long Baseline Interferometry Network to study FRB 180916, a repeating burst whose 16-day cycle consists of four days of bursts followed by 12 days of quiet. While FRB 180916 has been studied before, Nimmo and her team used a new technique that sliced them into 100 microsecond pieces, which gave them the “polarization position angle” (PPA) at which the polarized light swings back and forth. This data then helps reveal the rotation of the FRB source, how close the radio emission takes place to its source and the size of the emission region or area creating the pulses.
Think about that for a moment. This new data can measure the size of the source of fast radio bursts from a different galaxy 457 million light-years away. The size of the source of FRB 180916 was truly a shocker. Any guesses?
Try approximately one kilometer (0.62 miles) wide. Could that be a transmitter? Nimmo and the other researchers are leaning more towards a neutron star, which can contain more mass than the Sun, yet be only about 12 miles in diameter. The FRB discovered just 30,000 light years away in our own Milky Way galaxy was proven to be a form of neutron star called a magnetar. The repeating periodicity of FRB 180916 points more to a binary consisting of a precessing (wobbling) neutron and a massive star that orbit in other over a 16-day period. The 4-day bursts from FRB 180916 could then be explained by the two stars being closer together, with the dark 12 days when they are farther apart.
Not as exciting as aliens, but this makes more scientific sense. Since they’re not looking for aliens, Nimmo sees these microsecond measurements as a tool to identify repeating FRBs, take another look at one-off FRBs to see if they’re a new kind of repeater and better pinpoint the locations of all FRBs.
If you don’t want your discussion on FRBs to become highly polarized, stay away from bringing up aliens.

A Chipinge man is recovering in hospital after falling from a motor cycle, having been scared by an instant flash light from an alleged unidentified flying object witnessed in parts of Chipinge and Chimanimani on Friday evening.
Now recovering from a leg injury after being admitted at Chipinge District Hospital on Saturday, 47-year-old Chipinge resident, Richman Myambo is yet to come to terms with what he saw on Friday evening following a strange unidentified flying object.
Myambo fell from a motorbike when he witnessed a strange instant flash light and a deafening sound that followed thereafter.
“I was travelling home on my motorbike at around 9am when I witnessed a strange light travelling in the sky. I tried to concentrate on riding, but what made me fall was the sound that followed after the light. I then fell on the bike due to panic. I thought I was dying.”
Myambo initially thought it was one of those weird moments encountered at night before noticing a rocket-like object.
“I was 100% sober, but I was so confused because I thought I had encountered those strange things people see in dark and thick forests. The object looked like a rocket with fire on its back.”
While authorities are yet to establish whether the unidentified flying object landed or not, the feature has set tongues wagging among Chipinge residents.
Residents claim to have seen a bright light that was followed by a huge blow sound and a shaking, while others describe the event as a collision of two stars.
Meanwhile, the district Meteorological Services Department confirmed that indeed the strange feature was witnessed but they are yet to release an official statement.
UFO encounters of the automobile kind are common. Besides the many reports of engines and lights suddenly malfunctioning, there are some more famous and intimate auto encounters, like the 1979 incident in Minnesota by deputy sheriff Val Johnson, whose damaged car is now in a museum. Or the 1969 incident in Sheffield, Massachusetts, when Thom Reed and his family reported beingabducted from their car – a UFO encounter honored by the state’s governor as “historically significant and true.” On the other hand, UFO encounters of the motorcycle kind are pretty rare. In fact, if anyone else has had one, Richman Myambo may want to talk to you about what happened to him recently in Zimbabwe – an incident that left him and his two wheels reeling.

Richman Myambo, a resident of the Chipinge Safari Area in eastern Zimbabwe near the Mozambique border, told local media the “object looked like a rocket with fire on its back” and that the sound was deafening. Myambo knows what you’re thinking:
“I was 100% sober, but I was so confused because I thought I had encountered those strange things people see in dark and thick forests.”
The Chipinge Safari Area sounds more like a place for a Bigfoot encounter in a dark park. While no one else was knocked off of their bikes by the UFO (Myambo suffered a leg injury that required a hospital visit), there were other witnesses who reported the incident, including Charles Mugadhuyu who claimed he saw the UFO drop fast, explode into flames and hit the ground with an audible thud. Felistus Magorwa told local media it looked like a star heading eastward across the sky, but the sound was more than a thud.
“It was a frightening explosion-like sound. It also sounded like rain thunder despite the clear sky.”
ZBC News reported other unnamed witnesses reported a bright light resembling the collision of two stars, a huge “blow” sound and ground shaking. Add all of those up and it sounds more like a meteorite than a UFO. In fact, the district Meteorological Services Department confirmed that it witnessed something but issued no official statement as of this writing.
It would be easy to chalk this one up as a meteorite – an encounter close enough to knock a man off of his motorbike – but any discussion of Zimabwe and UFOs always leads to the 1994 incident when 62 children at Ariel School in Ruwa (six hours from Chipinge) reported seeing a shiny flying disc and speaking telepathically with aliens. No one was knocked off of their bikes or trikes or see-saws, but the children are now adults and continue to stick to their story. Did their aliens come back to check up on them?
Probably not. This one is on the “meteorite” side of the explanation dial unless more witnesses or some photos turn up. If you’re heading to Zimbabwe to look for Myambo’s UFO, wear a helmet.
When it comes to the matter of alien abductions, there are more than a few angles that pop up time and again. For example, in just about everything case recorded, there has been a significant amount of what is popularly known as “missing time.” Usually, it’s a period of at least several hours. On occasion, the memories begin to come back during the sleep state; however, it’s rare that complete recall occurs. The experiences of Whitley Strieber and Betty and Barney Hill are classic examples of what defines missing time. Then, there’s the matter of the black-eyed alien “Grays” taking blood, eggs, DNA, sperm and skin cells from those they abduct. Precisely why, we don’t really know. Some say that it’s done to create what are termed “alien-human hybrids;” creatures that look enough like us to move among us. Maybe, even, infiltrate our society. Another familiar – and repeated – angle is that of abductees having apocalyptic nightmares. Usually those same nightmares revolve around nuclear war, the destruction of the planet by our reckless activities, and the likes of a new Ice Age and the wipe-out of the human race. There is, however, another aspect of the alien abduction that not so many are aware of. It is, however, an important angle. And now I’ll share it with you. It’s the immersion of abductees into strange liquids and gels while on-board UFOs.
In one case, the abductee recalled waking up “…naked in a funnel shaped pool filled with a greenish black gel type liquid. The pool had to be 20 yards wide all around. And pretty deep. The pool was made of some kind of shiny metal. With the gel it made the surface very slippery and you would slip under the gel if you tried to get out. I then realized something very odd at that time. I wasn’t alone. There were at least 15 other humans with me. All of them screaming and panicking. This is what scared me. I didn’t know what they were screaming about. I thought they knew something I didn’t, so I got scared. Some were under the gel moving around I could see. Most were trying to escape.”
Here’s a second example: “I found myself inside a clear glass cylinder, totally submerged in some kind of warm fluid, thicker than water, thinner than oil. To my surprise, I was able to breathe this warm fluid without discomfort. I could also open my eyes without a problem. The solution was clear, of a greenish color and the container was softly lit. I remember, still fully submerged in this solution, that I slowly began to recall the abduction that had taken me away from my bedroom, minutes, maybe hours before. (impossible to tell). Then I made the connection with the place I was now in and real fear took hold of me. I remember desperately trying to get out of the container but I could not move a muscle except for my eyelids. Finally, and all at once by sheer force of will, I was able to regain movement of my limbs. I jumped out of the glass container faster than a spring. Apparently, what I had been breathing while submerged was very different than air because I felt the urgent need to take a big breath of air as soon as I came out. I was naked and dripping this fluid/solution that was sort of a slimy gel. The place was dark, very steamy with a strange, unpleasant smell.”
Investigator Helmut Lammer reveals the account of a woman named Lisa, who was “…kidnapped and brought to a military underground facility, where she saw naked humans floating in tubes. Lisa claims that she was forced by humans into some type of pool filled with a golden yellow bubbly fluid, while other humans looked at her. Lisa has traumatic recollections that her kidnappers tried to make her and other victims able to breath in the liquid. In two of the before mentioned cases the abductee was forced to breath the liquid like Lisa. The hypnosis transcripts reveal that the liquid breathing experiences were traumatic for the abductees. Both abductees where totally immersed in the liquid and both reported that they could breath the fluid.”
The late ufologist Stanton Friedman made a valuable observation on this issue: “The amount of acceleration a person can stand depends on many factors; the three most important depends on the duration of acceleration (the greater the force, the shorter the time it can be tolerated), the direction of the force in relation to the body (back to front acceleration is much easier to handle then head to foot acceleration, and for this reason Apollo astronauts have their backs perpendicular to the direction of the thrust, rather then along it as in an elevator), and body environment is important (a person immersed in fluid can withstand greater acceleration than one not so immersed).”

Newly Forming Stars Don’t Blast Away Material as Previously Believed. So Why Do They Stop Growing?
We thought we understood how stars are formed. It turns out, we don’t. Not completely, anyway. A new study, recently conducted using data from the Hubble Space Telescope, is sending astronomers back to the drawing board to rewrite the accepted model of stellar formation.
What we do know about star formation is that they are born from enormous clouds of hydrogen gas. The gas gets clumped together and compressed by gravity, increasing in pressure and temperature until the mass grows large enough to set off nuclear fusion. But stars don’t seem to absorb all of the gas in their surroundings. Something stops them from reaching enormous sizes.
Until now, the accepted model assumed that the excess gas gets blown away from the star in extremely powerful solar winds, shaped and directed by magnetic fields shooting out from the poles of the star. “There are remarkable ‘U’- or ‘V’- shaped structures extending to the north and south of a protostar,” explains Nolan Habel, one of the researchers from the University of Toledo. “They are actually hollowed-out cavities carved into the surrounding gas by hurricane-like winds or jets of material expelled from the poles of the protostar.”

These powerful jets were thought to eventually clear out all the excess gas, leaving stars to only absorb about 30% of the material in their surroundings. But the new study turns this theory on its head. The cavities created by the jets do not seem to grow steadily over time, meaning that they alone cannot possibly explain why stars stop growing. There must be some other mechanism that helps clear out the remaining gas surrounding a protostar.
The team made this discovery by studying a sample of 304 protostars at various stages of formation in the Orion Nebula (the closest region of star formation to Earth). The astronomers sorted the stars by age, and then used Hubble imagery to measure the shape and volume of the cavities created by jets. They were expecting to see the cavities grow over time, as the model suggests should happen. But, they didn’t.
“We find that at the end of the protostellar phase, where most of the gas has fallen from the surrounding cloud onto the star, a number of young stars still have fairly narrow cavities,” said Tom Megeath, another researcher on the team. This goes against all common theories of star formation, and is going to require further research to figure out what is happening. Why do stars stop growing, if not because of their polar jets?

The team has brainstormed a few possible alternatives. The gas clouds in which stars form are not uniformly dense. They have ‘filaments’ of higher density where protostars tend to form, and oscillations in these filaments might fling the protostars away. We also know that stars don’t always form alone: about half of all sun-like stars have a binary partner. It is conceivable that two or more protostars forming close to one another might gravitationally disturb each other, pushing them away from their source material.
For now, these are just theories. It will probably take bigger and better instruments to find a concrete answer. The James Webb Space Telescope, set to launch later this year, might provide astronomers with the clues they need to solve the mystery. In the meantime, there’s a whole lot of astrophysics textbooks out there that are going to need a revised edition.

Operation Paperclip
CIA reports as World War II ended, the race was on with the Soviet Union to seize as many German scientists as possible in anticipation of the Cold War. The full story has remained elusive until now. Operation Paperclip, by Annie Jacobsen, provides perhaps the most comprehensive, up-to-date narrative available to the general public. Her book is a detailed and highly readable account of the program. Jacobsen compiled extensive primary and secondary sources, duly annotated in over 100 pages of notes and bibliography. In it are many new sources, among them US government records “Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act”), German archival records, first-person accounts, memoirs, and letters. Operation Paperclip
The author focused on 89 scientists who came to the United States. The book is compelling work with interesting historical and personal revelations, for example:
One of the most notorious cases of weapon of mass destruction (WMD) proliferation occurred on 15 May 1945, when the German U-234 submarine, bound for Japan, was captured off Newfoundland by the USS Sutton.
The U-boat carried Dr. Heinz Schlicke, Director of Naval Test Fields at Kiel, and the cargo included plans for the Hs293 glider bomb, V-1 glide bomb (forerunner to cruise missiles), V-2 rocket (forerunner to the SCUD missile), low observable submarine designs, and lead-lined boxes filled with 1,200 lbs. of uranium oxide, a key ingredient of atomic bombs and plans for the Me262 fighter aircraft the first combat jet aircraft.

The Germans had actually manufactured about 1200 first jet Me 262 fighters by the end of the war, but it seems that they were never used very effectively.
Lack of fuel, lack of proper training of pilots, and the fact that the engines wore burned out very quickly because the Germans had lost all the sources of rare earths that they needed to produce alloys for high quality turbine blades seem to have contributed to Schlicke, who claimed to be an electronic warfare expert, became a prisoner at Ft. Meade, MD.
Sarin gas was produced at Dyhernfurth (Dyhernfurth later fell into Russian hands). Its name derives from the initials of its developers: Gerhard Schrader and Otto Ambros from the infamous IG Farben chemical company—maker of the killing gases used at concentration camps—and from the names of two German Army officers.
Schrader tells the story of inventing “tabun,” a nerve agent named after the English word “taboo.” The Germans called it 9/91 and, after their defeat at Stalingrad, seriously considered using it on the Russians.
Henry Wallace, former vice president and secretary of commerce, believed the scientists’ ideas could launch new civilian industries and produce jobs. Indeed, German scientists
Von Braun developed synthetic rubber (used in automobile tires), non-running hosiery, the ear thermometer, electromagnetic tape, and miniaturized electrical components, to name a few.
Werner von Braun is well known to those who remember the Apollo moon landing. Another 120 fellow German scientists, engineers, and technicians developed the Saturn V launch vehicle, or that the Launch Operations Center at Cape Canaveral, Florida, was headed by Kurt Debus, an ardent Nazi. The Vertical Assembly Building—bigger in volume than the Pentagon than and almost as tall as the Washington Monument—was designed by Bernhard Tessmann, former facilities designer at the German missile launch facility at Peenemunde.

Other prominent Nazis hired under Operation Paperclip included:
Dr. Hubertus Strughold, who played an important role in space medicine by developing space suits and other life-support systems. In June 1948, he put a rhesus monkey named Albert in the pressurized nosecone of a V-2 rocket in a pressurized nose cone, the first step in the effort to send humans to space.
General Reinhard Gehlen, former head of Nazi intelligence operations against the Soviets, was hired by the US Army and later by the CIA to operate 600 ex-Nazi agents in the Soviet zone of occupied Germany. In 1948, CIA Director Roscoe Hillenkoetter assumed control of the so-called Gehlen Organization.
German biologist Dr. Kurt Blome was hired to develop offensive and defensive capabilities to the questions about the morality of the decision to hire Nazi SS scientists. Jacobsen balances her judgment with an understanding of the perceived threat of the Soviet Union under Stalin and the communists’ determination to prepare for total war with the West. The Soviets similarly captured and used German scientists for their own defense programs.
Paperclip German Scientists
When UFOs crashed in New Mexico in 1947 Paperclip scientists according to Cantwheel documents claims the Germans (Von Braun’s group) were in a position to identify whatever they were as they were experts in advanced V weapons and likely had knowledge of Nazi disc shaped craft. About 100 of them were assigned to PAPERCLIP projects at Fort Bliss, White Sands during this period.
They were issued special War Department ID cards that specifically stated that they were not to be held or questioned by authorities and had permission to leave the Fort Bliss test range on sometime in early July 1947 for unspecified reasons.
This was when the Roswell crafts had crashed nearby. It has been my belief for a long time that the Germans were brought into the classified UFO Program since
Robert Addinall wrote, looking at the links others have provided, most plausible is that if the allies did come across actual completed German flying disk prototypes, these used circular turbines rotating around a central cockpit, or a few sets of circular rotating turbines in nacelles on the underside of the vehicle – in other words, forms of jet aircraft.

They had a 25-year head start in advanced disc aircraft and rocket research. Naval Intelligence specialist Engineer William Thompson claimed the Germans had actually flown advanced disc shaped craft during the war and eventually helped back engineer some of these craft in the US.
He also claimed Werner von Braun had advanced knowledge concerning these craft and was instrumental in helping the US build some of these craft. It seems these men could have been building Discs as well as working on V-2 rockets.
General Donald Putt
General Donald Putt was responsible for their employment at Wright Field (Putt is mentioned in Top Secret Project SIGN files as head of Air Force R&D in 1947-48 and was a student of Theodore von Karman).
The CIA’s PAPERCLIP files contained biographies of Germany’s top scientists (some were declassified in 1994) for possible recruitment in the U.S.
PAPERCLIP was an illegal project to prevent Von Braun and approximately 1200 other Germans from standing trial at Nuremberg for war crimes. Army and Air Force CIC deleted any information of their Nazi affiliation and SS positions (Von Braun was a SS Major) and the CIA misled the White House about their pasts. The U.S. considered their knowledge as vital to National Security and defense for the Russians had captured and recruited some of Von Braun’s people to work on their missile and jet aircraft development projects. In that case, you analysis should explicitly have in the stress-energy tensor the T01 and T10 terms, solve the EFE and show how you get a time dependent wobble on the Schawartzchild field.
(He comes the earful) I don’t think Jack did that in his analysis. He lept into the weak field solution, only ever considered the T00 term and essentially plugged into the weak field solution his values.
It seems the T01 and T10 terms could counter the small 8piG/c^4 term if they rise to huge levels… I was skeptical but see what you are getting at. I don’t think Jack’s analysis was complete but he did hint at the idea of frequency dependence of the dielectric allowing him to change the phase of the field, allow the craft to rise or fall. That seems plausible.

Newgrange One of oldest Structures in the World
The Irish claim they were the world’s first civilization. Newgrange was built 5200 years ago, during the Neolithic period (tail end of the Stone Age); the Newgrange megalithic tomb was constructed with alternating layers of dirt and rock and infused with the mystical curiosities. The structure models a typical disc UFO and drawings on the walls suggest the flight of craft. The Tuatha Dé Danann, the people of the Goddess Danu, were one of the great ancient tribes of Ireland that allegedly arrived from the sky. Some historians claim they burned their ships and the smoke they emerged from made it appear they came from the sky. This earthen temple is 600 years older than Egypt’s Giza Pyramids and 1000 years older than Stonehenge suggesting advanced aliens helped in the construction. The building of Newgrange is a remarkable architectural feat and it’s within one of the most popular flight paths for UFOs.
With a mesmerizing entrance stone, the Newgrange passage and tomb are adorned with beautiful circles, spirals, and radials suggesting representation of flight. While the purpose of this ancient art appears to be decorative, many spiritually-minded scholars believe these etchings to be energy-creating icons that relate to the sun, moon, and stars.
Newgrange has a reputation to be a reservoir of healing energy for all walks of life. Residents of the nearby Laytown say that unusual objects have been crisscrossing the night sky for as long as they can remember. More recently, unexplained crop circles have been appearing in neighboring areas. It seems the Gods are restless and trying to communicate.
Asteroid May Hit Earth
NASA reported that on May 6, 2022, an asteroid could hit Earth.
The rocky celestial body, 130 meters in diameter and considered by the agency as “potentially dangerous“, was first detected in 2009.
Specialists assured that the possible collision would cause an explosion equivalent to 230 kilotons of dynamite. Nostradamus predicted we will hit this year.

Boncuklu Tarais a Thousand Years Older than Gobekli Tepe
Boncuklu Tara sitting eerily quiet upon an almost forgotten potbelly-shaped hilltop in the Southeastern Turkish countryside is an archaeological site that has caused heated debates among researchers, dreamers, and scientists. The mainstream scientific community remains reluctant to budge from the cemented ideas of academia regarding the possibilities of advanced cultures far older than believed possible. Literally written in stone, found in newly excavated digs, are the remains of a people we know little or nothing about, and now Boncuklu Tara a new discovery has emerged that’s even older — by a thousand years or so —than Gobekli Tepe.
Boncuklu Tara Smithsonian magazine noted that Göbekli Tepe predates Stonehenge by 6,000 years and “upends the conventional view of the rise of civilization.” The site is regarded as early evidence of prehistoric worship, featuring unmistakable temples and stunningly carved stone monoliths.
The Debate over Who Built Göbekli Tepe
An episode of Joe Rogan’s podcast, featuring Graham Hancock, garnered more than 3.5 million views on its episode about Göbekli Tepe, since it aired in 2017. For several hours, bestselling author and journalist Graham Hancock traded barbs with materialist science writer and founder of The Skeptics Society, Michael Shermer, over the deeper significance of the Göbekli Tepe find in Turkey. Weighing in on the discussion was Randall Carlson, geological explorer, and renegade scholar. At the heart of the ongoing debate is who built Göbekli Tepe and whether academia should rethink the antiquity of history and stop underestimating the cultural achievements and advancement of peoples who predated the esteemed ancient Greeks by millennia.
Hancock argued that Göbekli Tepe may be a clue to an advanced civilization that met its demise prior to its final construction.
Boncuklu Tara from Air
Following an ancient cataclysm, the few survivors of an ancient civilization or the ET alien explorers may have taken refuge among hunter-gatherers. There are caves packed with the bones of thousands of animals and people all over the world showing the extent of the ancient cataclysm.
The survivors y may have shared some of their knowledge Hancock said, “Perhaps there’s been a forgotten episode in human history. Perhaps its fingerprints are present at a number of sites around the world. Perhaps the extremely defensive, arrogant, and patronizing attitude of mainstream academia is stopping us from considering that possibility, and therefore I campaign to get that possibility considered.”
And now, beyond Göbekli Tepe news, field workers have added another coal to the fire with their discovery of an ancient site that is at least a thousand years older.
Excavations at Boncuklu Tarla in Southeastern Turkey’s Mardin province began in 2012 and have yielded what may be called an 11,300-year-old mini Göbekli Tepe — a Neolithic-era temple with three well-preserved monolithic structures. However, the structures have no figurative inscriptions common to Göbekli Tepe. The temple walls were constructed of rubble and cemented with hardened clay.
The Daily Sabah, a Turkish newspaper reported that the archaeological excavations are being conducted by Mardin Museum Director Nihat Erdoğan and his team. Researchers are hoping to learn more about the cultures, social lives, and burial traditions of the people who lived in Northern Mesopotamia at least 10 millennia ago. The area of the excavateion has been home over its history to Sumerians, Akkadians, Babylonians, Hittites, Assyrians, Romans, Seljuks, and Ottomans, among others.

Erdoğan said that the Neolithic period saw the establishment of the first sedentary society that led to controlled food production. The first phase of the period did not have baked clay vessels and baskets. Wooden or stone vessels were used instead of baked clay. This is the Aceramic Neolithic phase, in which artifacts have survived in only a few places in Anatolia.
Archaeologist and advisor to the dig, Ergül Kodaş, Mardin Artuklu University, Turkey, said that the history and age of the site is “a new key point to inform us on many topics such as how the [people] in Northern Mesopotamia and the upper Tigris began to settle, how the transition from hunter-gatherer life to food production happened, and how cultural and religious structures changed.”
What Do We Know? Boncuklu Tara is also just now being uncovered
Certainly, the ancient sites at Göbekli Tepe and Boncuklu Tarla stretch the limits of academic preconceptions and conclusions. Some researchers, like Graham Hancock, Dr. Robert Schoch, and Randall Carlson, have been advocating for a change in paradigm among mainstream archeology. They entertain the possibility that there is evidence pointing to the possibility that there was a major global catastrophe at the end of the last Ice Age, caused by the impact of a comet. For many early people, this marked the end of the world as they knew it, that probably created gigantic worldwide flooding and may even caused the Earth to tip and change poles. Antarctica became cold and Canada warmed melting the ice. The question is whether the few survivors could have intermingled with hunter-gatherers to create a new type of society

The conspiracy nuts reckon they’ve found a grimacing face carved into the ice at a remote region in the southeast of the island.
Some conspiracy belier’s think this ‘face’ visible in Google Earth images was left there by alien invaders.
Ufo_scandinavia uploaded strange footage last week showing the bizarre anomaly. It also may suggest a human like civilization existed on Antarctica many centuries ago before the Earth changed its poles. There is strong evidence that Antarctica once had much warmer weather. China’s Super Carriers and Aircraft
Media sources say China’s newest super carrier could very well sport the latest EMALS (Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System) launch technology, similar to the US Navy’s newest operational aircraft carrier, the Gerald R. Ford.
China has been making steady progress building its third aircraft carrier, the first expected to match the “super carriers” of the US fleet in size and capability, according to satellite photos and analysis by Military.com reported.
China’s Global Times also reported Sept. 13 that the new carrier could be launched soon.
The 10 other carriers in the US fleet use steam-powered catapults to launch aircraft.

China has likely been able to steal the technology by computer hacking. CSIS high-resolution satellite photos showing the latest carrier laid out n hull blocks at the Jiangnan shipyard on the outskirts of Shanghai. The new carrier is expected to be longer than the Ford’s length is 1,106 feet.
China currently has two carriers — the Liaoning, a converted Soviet-era warship, and the domestically-built Shandong. Both feature “ski jump” sloped flight decks to launch aircraft.
EMALS uses a surge of electricity to generate electrical currents with strong magnetic fields.
It is supposed to be easier to operate, gentler on airplanes, and capable of launching more planes into the air in a shorter period of time than steam catapults.
Another advantage: The launch control system for electromagnetic catapults know what speed an aircraft should have at any point during the launch sequence, and can make adjustments during the process to ensure that an aircraft will be within 3 mph of the desired takeoff speed, Air & Space magazine reported.
In contrast, once a launch has begun in the steam system, adjustments cannot be made.
If too much steam is used, the nose wheel landing gear, which attaches to the catapult, can be ripped off the aircraft. If too little steam is used, the aircraft won’t reach takeoff speed and will tumble into the water.
An electromagnetic catapult can launch every 45 seconds. Each three-second launch can consume as much as 100 million watts of electricity, about as much as a small town uses in the same amount of time, Air & Space reported.

The glowing is my key board but they tell me t he triangle is a solid object and not a reflection of the space station itself.
The images are crazy as it takes off! The object seems to glow stronger before it goes grey and takes off. Frame by frame you can see it accelerate. The picture is to show you placement of the space station once the sun comes up.
The flying wing above the ISS appears quite large and appears to have anti-gravity propulsion. Wings are generally needed to fly in the atmosphere so it is difficult to know who manufactured this object.

Moreno Valley – on March 14, 2021, was driving when I spotted an object in the sky. At first glance I thought they are in the direct path of air traffic from March ARB. I stopped and filmed with my girlfriend. It continued to change shape. I would guess the object was several thousand feet in the air but looked very large. The cloud cover was very high and we could see planes flying in the distance. The time it took for us to lose complete sight of it was 1 minute as it just seemed to disappear. I have always thought there were UFOs and believe that I have seen one in the past. The pictures show it changing shapes.

Belleview – on March 14, 2021, Taking pictures of strange cloud formations and upon review of iPhone pictures noticed cylindrical shaped orange object crested on top to point in 4 images at 6:58 am.

Nampa – on March 17, 2021, I saw a rectangle shape going across the sky. Nothing pulling it so took pictures.

Hackettstown– on March 14, 2021, I walked into the living room and looked outside. I looked up and saw the object moving from the west to east. The fireball looked like it was shooting out bright little stars. Several people saw the Bolide that exploded.

New York City– on August 18, 2020, what appeared to be a sky snake, a UFO with a trail presented itself to us while we were relaxing on a rock atop a hill on a sunny evening at Central Park. There are hundreds of kite technicians enjoying the same wind. Some felt it was a kite; however I saw it turn into two UFOs so it could not be a kite.

Kline – June 15, 1984, I was coming home about 12 midnight looking down at my Sony Selman when I looked up and saw a light coming up to me from the horizon! I saw a light floating 50 feet over my friend’s home silently just floating there. It was about 100 feet long with glowing wings with round glowing light circles in the square ‘wings. I stood there and could not move as I was transfixed on the craft. I watched it for 4 /5 minutes then it started to pulse then I ran to my house and it took off and was gone in 2 seconds.

Cle Elum– on March 11, 2021, I saw a light band moving at a linear speed and direction. It was moving from SW to the NE. There was no audible sound. The pictures are attached at an estimated height of 40,000 feet, and speed of 1,000 MPH Location of sighting: 47 11′ 12″ N 120 45′ 00″ W

West Virginia Rainbow Object
Glenville– on March 16, 2021, I have taken literally tens of thousands of photos in my life and am considered an amateur photographer. I was outside taking photos with my cell phone of a double rainbow above my house after a short rain event. I had taken 25 pictures and was scrolling through them on my cell phone and noticed the object in the one picture to the left and between the rainbows. There were no birds at all in the sky. I assume the object captured was moving at a high speed since I did not see it with my naked eye. The object appears to be solid and reflecting light on the top portion.

Maia – on March 17, 2021, my name is Fernando, I am 52 years old, between June 1989 and December 1990 I served in the Portuguese, Armey and I am currently a real estate consultant. For some time I wanted to share what I witnessed between 00:09 and 00:25 on July 16, 2017 in Águas Santas, I went to the balcony saw a light “the size” of a star blinking half a second apart for 60 seconds. Coordinates of the sighting were 41.215514, -8.570713. Numerous lights in the shape of a square appeared and a circumference with neon light moved for a few “meters” until they were positioned under the Constellation Bigger Bear. On July 23, 2017 at 00:20 I looked at the sky over and saw dozens of UFOs passing towards the light that was blinking. The photo from the second sighting is original from the event, although I drew it from above, to demonstrate what I saw. Does this event have anything to do with what is going on with this global pandemic?

Now here is something you don't hear NASA talking about on Mars. A white tower on Mars stands about two meters tall in the far distant background. The object is so white, that the color doesn't match any of the things around it. This is a huge photo mind you. So being the only white object in the entire thing really makes it stand out. I know that some inexperienced people may try to explain it away by saying its a reflection. Well, thats ridiculous. The rocks near it have no such reflection, nor does anything in this entire huge photo! So...this material has been seen before and reported by me before. Just last week I reported a white fungus triangle on the side of a rock. This is the same living material. I believe it to be the outer casing of a living creatures home. Like hornets make a nest, or termites make tall mounds, this too is such a creature. What ever created it, its small, its alive, and it usually creates these things in the shadows. This one however is out in the open and very big. Two meters almost. So it could be a fungus or it could be a created nest of a small species that has learned to survive the harsh environment of Mars. Life...finds a way.

This door cam in Hawaii caught something moving over the cars in the driveway a few days ago. The object appears to be a string of six spheres. This looks like an unmanned alien probe to me. This will be difficult for many to understand or even believe, because of the depth of the subject. Society knows what they see in the movies, which is all wrong. Aliens don't want to kill humanity and aliens ships are not heading to earth to harvest our flesh and body chemicals. The reality of the situation is that we are visited hundreds of times a day worldwide by UFOs and alien probes are over every 5km square area of this planet. The ships come in all shapes and sizes due to age and species that made them. Same goes for probes. Laugh at me now, but

My Ring surveillance is set to record anything larger than a cat that moves in my driveway. I received an alert on my phone at 10pm on Tuesday night. When I opened the app and saw this strange string of lights pulsating and taking off out of my driveway, I was quite flustered. The object moved up into the air, flew south-bound over Pearl Harbor and dropped down into the ocean. It makes a strange whoosh sound as it passes the tree and takes off. I included the short clip and also the long version. Note: my surveillance lights never turned on and the lights seen are infrared light waves.

On February 19, 1947, Admiral Richard E. Byrd left Base Camp Arctic and flew northward. What happened on that flight?
For years rumors have persisted that on his historic flight to the North Pole, Admiral Byrd flew beyond the Pole into an opening leading inside the Earth. Here he met with advanced beings who had a sobering message for him to deliver to Mankind at the Surface World.
Upon Byrd’s return to Washington, on March 11, 1947 he was interviewed intently by top security forces and a medical team. He was placed under strict control and ordered to remain silent on behalf of humanity. Being a military man, he felt he had to comply.

“On January 13, members of the United stated expedition penetrated a land extent of 2,300 miles BEYOND the Pole. The Flight was made by Rear Admiral George Dufek of the United States Navy Air Unit.” Byrd said on March 13, 1956, “The present expedition has opened up a vast new land.”
Admiral Byrd said in February, 1947 before his North Pole flight, “I’d like to see that land beyond the Pole. That area beyond the Pole is the center of the great unknown.”

Our interest rightly begins just after your race exploded the first atomic bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. It was at that alarming time we sent our flying machines, the ‘Flugelrads,’ to your surface world to investigate what your race had done.

The master’s eyes seemed to penetrate deeply into my mind, and after studying me for a few moments he replied, “Your race has now reached the point of no return, for there are those among you who would destroy your very world rather than relinquish their power as they know it…”
I nodded, and the Master continued. “In 1945 and afterward, we tried to contact your race, but our efforts were met with hostility. Our Flugelrads were fired upon, yes, even pursued with malice and animosity by your fighter planes.
So, now, I say to you, my son, there is a great storm gathering in your world, a black fury that will not spend itself for many years. There will be no answer in your armies, there will be no safety in your science. It may rage on until every flower of your culture is trampled and all human things are leveled in vast chaos.
“Your recent war was only a prelude of what is yet to come for your race. We here see it more clearly with each hour…do you say I am mistaken?”
“No,” I answer,” it happened once before, the Dark Ages came and they lasted for more than five hundred years.” “Yes, my son,” replied the Master, “the Dark Ages that will come now for your race will cover the Earth like a pall, but I believe that some of your race will live through the storm, beyond that, I cannot say.
We see at a great distance a new world stirring from the ruins of your race, seeking its lost and legendary treasures, and they will be here, my son, safe in our keeping. When that time arrives, we shall come forward again to help revive your culture and your race.
“Perhaps, by then, you will have learned the futility of war and its strife…and after that time, certain of your culture and science will be returned for your race to begin anew. You, my son, are to return to the Surface World with this message…”
With those closing words, our meeting seemed at an end. I stood for a moment as in a dream…but, yet, I knew this was reality, and for some strange reason I bowed slightly, either out of respect or humility, I do not know which.
Suddenly, I was again aware that the two beautiful hosts who had brought me here were again at my side. “This way, Admiral,” motioned one. I turned once more before leaving and looked back toward the Master. A gentle smile was etched on his delicate ancient face. “Farewell, my son,” he spoke, then he gestured with a lovely, slender hand a motion of peace and our meeting was truly ended.
Quickly, we walked back through the great door of the Master’s chamber and once again entered into the elevator. The door slid silently downward and we were at once going upward. One of my hosts’ spoke again, “We must now make haste, Admiral, as the Master desires to delay you no longer on your schedule timetable and you must return with his message to your race.”

But the aliens had to intervene to stop Donald Trump when he appeared 'on the verge' of blurting out their secrets, he told Israeli paper Yediot Aharonot.
And the 87-year-old Eshed says the aliens will not come into the open until humanity can 'evolve and reach a stage where we will... understand what space and spaceships are'.
Eshed did not say how long the aliens have been hiding in the shadows, but said some of the supposed contact had taken place during Trump's presidency.
Speaking of an 'agreement' between the US government and the alien visitors, Eshed said the extraterrestrials wanted to work with American agents to study 'the fabric of the universe'.
'The aliens have asked not to announce that they are here [because] humanity is not ready yet,' Eshed told the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Aharonoth, according to Jewish Press.
'Trump was on the verge of revealing [alien existence], but the aliens in the Galactic Federation are saying, 'Wait, let people calm down first'.
'They don't want to start mass hysteria. They want to first make us sane and understanding.'
Until that point, he said, aliens have secured an agreement to keep their movements secret.
'They have been waiting for humanity to evolve and reach a stage where we will generally understand what space and spaceships are,' said Eshed.
'There's an agreement between the US government and the aliens. They signed a contract with us to do experiments here. They, too, are researching and trying to understand the whole fabric of the universe, and they want us as helpers.'
'There's an underground base in the depths of Mars, where their representatives are, and also our American astronauts,' Eshed is reported to have said.
The former space official claimed he had come forward now in the unlikely hope that his revelations would be accepted as true.
'If I had come up with what I'm saying today five years ago, I would have been hospitalised,' he told the Israeli paper. 'Every place that I went to in academia with this, they said: The guy has lost his mind.
'I have nothing to lose. I've received my degrees and awards; I am respected in universities abroad, where the trend is also changing.'

The professor has even put his thoughts into a book in which he describes how aliens have prevented nuclear disasters on Earth, according to the Jerusalem Post.
The book is called The Universe Beyond the Horizon: Conversations with Professor Haim Eshed.
As head of the Israeli defence ministry's space directorate, Eshed helped launch spy satellites which he said would help provide high-quality surveillance of Iran.
When he retired in 2011, he was even described in Israeli media as 'the father of Israel's satellite programme'.
But after leaving his role at the defence ministry, he is said to have 'turned to what really interested him - aliens'.
In the new book he discusses UFOs and 'various theories about their nature, purpose and origin, which in his opinion is probably not from Earth,' according to a blurb.
Eshed is described a researcher who 'believes that the human race is not alone in the universe, and that it must fit into the harmony of the great plan'.
Israel's space agency hinted at a future moon mission on Monday by publishing a short clip entitled 'Back to the Moon' with the caption 'Ready to get excited again?'.
The country's first attempt at a lunar landing ended in failure when a privately-funded robotic craft crashed on its final descent last April.
Only the US, China and the former Soviet Union have succeeded in carrying out a controlled landing on the moon.
NASA has an official target of returning humans to the moon by 2024, but the development of a next-generation rocket has been held up by the pandemic.
The US and China also have Mars in their sights, but the dream of landing humans on the red planet is still some way off - despite Eshed's claims of an underground base.
Beijing's unmanned Tianwen-1 rover is due to arrive in the red planet's orbit in February 2021 after taking off in July.
NASA has its own Mars rover on the way, Perseverance, and is working on systems that could support human life on the 34million-mile trip to Mars.
Trump, whether secretly in league with aliens or not, unveiled America's new Space Force last year, the first new military service in the US for more than 70 years.
The Pentagon said in August this year that it was setting up a new task force under the US Navy to investigate UFO sightings.
In April, US defence chiefs released three videos taken by Navy pilots showing mid-air encounters with unexplained objects.
The grainy black and white footage had previously been leaked and the Navy had acknowledged they were genuine videos.
One of the videos was shot in November 2004 and the other two in January 2015.

Soaring over the barren, featureless desert of Utah's aptly named Red Rock Country, the helicopter crew could not believe its eyes.
A tedious routine flight counting bighorn sheep in one of America's emptiest regions had suddenly taken a dramatic turn, one that would immediately capture the world's imagination — and fuel wild conspiracy theories.
In this rugged, canyon-carved, sun-baked corner, an otherworldly, 10ft 'monolith' was glinting in the harsh desert light. Three-sided, metallic and as immovable as the menhirs of Stonehenge, it seemed somehow both to have been there for ever and to be a kind of message or sign — but it gave no clue as to its origins.

Helicopter pilot Bret Hutchings described how a biologist on the flight with him spotted the object. 'He was like, 'Whoa, whoa, turn around, turn around!' said Hutchings. ''There's this thing back there — we've got to go look at it!' I have to admit, that's been about the strangest thing I've come across out there in all the years of flying.'
A bewildered spokesman for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources euphemistically said the monolith — which are usually a single stone or rock — was an 'anomaly' after it appeared on November 18, adding: 'It's a tough place to get to by vehicle and on foot.'
So who — or what — could possibly have planted it? The internet was instantly aflame with theories. It was a prop left over from films including Indiana Jones, Star Trek and Mission: Impossible, all of which were made in the area. It was, others insisted, a satellite beacon, a 'resonance deflector' — or maybe just 'an eyesore'.
But perhaps the most common suggestion was that the monolith was placed there by an alien species of vastly superior intelligence.
After all, it resembled nothing so much as the huge black object that mysteriously appears in the desert in the epic opening scene of Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Fixed into the dusty ground by a higher intelligence, the object appears to teach the 'apes' in that film how to use tools — in turn sparking the arrival of humans.
Then, just as strangely as it arrived, the Utah monolith vanished, nine days after it had first baffled the globe. And from there, the mystery only deepened further.
Within days, similar objects began popping up all over the world. A near identical monolith appeared on a hillside in Romania. Internet users were quick to point out that the metallic, triangular object had appeared close to an ancient archaeological landmark, the Petrodava Fortress, built by the ancient Dacian people about 2,000 years ago.
Could this be significant, many wondered. Were aliens trying to send a message? Or were pranksters merely copying the Utah phenomenon that fascinated the planet? Then the monoliths began proliferating with extraordinary profusion. One 'landed' at the top of a mountain trail in California. It too vanished.
Another turned up in the city of Pittsburgh, Pennyslvania, outside a sweet shop. Perhaps the extra-terrestrials were fond of Hershey's chocolate, some quipped.

Finally — closest to home — in the early hours of Sunday morning, a gleaming, three-sided monolith 'landed' out of nowhere at genteel Compton Bay, on the south-west coast of the Isle of Wight.
Dog walkers were awed by the sight of the 8 ft object standing rigidly straight, reflecting the winter light that sparkled on the sea. Resident Alexia Fishwick said she was 'dumbstruck' when she spotted it during a beach walk, saying the monolith was 'really quite magical'.
Once again, it was in a hard-to-reach place, fixed into the sand below a sheer cliff, accessible only by a narrow footpath. Former Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank, who lives on the island, says: 'I'm not sure if it's aliens, a Coldplay PR stunt or a local mirror dealer drumming up trade, but it got us all down the beach anyway.'
Tory MP Bob Seely was more measured, saying: 'It's fascinating that this sculpture has popped up.'
Sculpture? Surely not, many insist. It must be far, far more than that.
A spokesman for Isle of Wight Council claimed the beach at Compton Bay is owned and managed by the Crown Estate — although the National Trust disputes this, insisting it owns the site.
The Trust says the monolith had appeared without permission — how infuriating that the aliens failed to follow proper planning rules — and insists: 'We need to monitor over the next few days to ensure the beach remains safe and does not become overcrowded.' The organisation also conducted a full study of the object, concluding that it 'seems secure on a wooden plinth and is made from mirrored sections of plastic or Perspex material'.

Over in America, suspicion has fallen upon an anonymous collective called The Most Famous Artist, based in Sante Fe, New Mexico. They quickly took credit for the monoliths in Utah and California and, while they were about it, showed some entrepreneurial flair by posting an image of the Utah creation — with a £34,000 price tag attached.
Whatever the truth of the monoliths' origins, it's clear there hasn't been anything like them since crop circles began appearing in 1976. Over the next two decades these phenomena were all the rage. Or, as the Smithsonian Institution said, they were a 'lens through which the initiated could witness the activity of Earth energies and ancient spirits, the anguish of Mother Earth in the face of impending ecological doom and evidence of secret weapons'.
The mystique of crop circles was finally shattered when two Brits — Doug Bower and his co-conspirator Dave Chorley — were outed as the creators of the first 'flying saucer nest' in a Wiltshire wheat field using ropes and boards. There are signs, that the current monolith mania will be more short-lived.

Many seem to disappear almost as fast as they arrive. One at the top of the Californian hiking trail came a cropper when a group of Trump supporters chanting 'Christ is King' and 'America First' came across it on a hike, took a dim view and demolished it, though it soon reappeared.
But as with those perplexing circles, the beauty of the monoliths seems to be that you can believe whatever you want about their origins. Go all galactic, if you wish, and convince yourself that they have appeared as an urgent — if rather opaque — message from aliens. Or take the view that people with too much time on their hands are planting a few bits of shiny metal and revelling in the subsequent speculation.
As Matty Mo, founder of The Most Famous Artist collective, said when he heard about the Isle of Wight's version: 'The monolith is out of my control at this point. Godspeed to all the aliens working hard around the globe to propagate the myth.'

A former CIA pilot John Lear gave part of his life to serve as a US Air Force pilot and then worked for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). In one of his interviews, John made a sensational announcement that Earth is a space prison and unlocked several moon mysteries. He also noted that in the universe, there are still a lot of inhabited planets of different levels of development.
Given that flights into space are carried out only within the same galaxy in which planet Earth is located, and even then at very short distances, therefore, it is not worth completely rejecting the information provided by John, because the government always has something to hide.

The man also said that on Earth, a person is serving his sentence from birth, and only with death is sent to a better world; a similar model of the world can be found in various religious systems, which in some cases confirms the information.
This statement by the CIA officer is worth noting: “The moon is an artificial body that was dragged to our planet, as a result of which an ice age broke out on Earth that killed all living things.” In fact, the circumstances of the appearance of the moon in outer space are not exactly known, and no one has seen the back of the moon. John also explained in his interview how Moon had been created in Jupiter and brought to Earth’s orbit about 15,000 years ago which was nearly around the last ice age. Also, he said that the Greys are on the moon also but mainly remain underground within huge laboratories.
According to him, Moon has a breathable atmosphere where around 250 million people are living in huge cities and bases.

And if you recall the flight of the Americans to the moon, then a lot of questions also arise, the answers to which only say that the Americans weren’t on moon, and if they were, then they definitely have something to hide. The officer claimed that in those days, NASA had no technology that could cross that Van Allen belt safely.
The artificiality of the moon is also confirmed by the fact that if you look at it in the night sky, then it really looks like plastic.
It is impossible to find material evidence in the words of John Lear, as he himself says that if he managed to get them, he would be immediately destroyed.
Christopher Kraft, who was director of the NASA tracking base in Houston during the Apollo Moon missions, revealed the conversation between Mission Control and astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin after he left NASA.
Armstrong and Aldrin From the moon: “Those are giant things. No, no, no …. this is not an optical illusion. No one is going to believe this!” Mission Control, Houston: “What…what…what? What the hell is happening? What’s wrong with you?”

Armstrong and Aldrin: “We saw some visitors. They were there for a while, observing the instruments.” Mission Control: “Repeat your last information.”
Armstrong and Aldrin: “I say that there were other spaceships. They’re lined up on the other side of the crater.” Mission Control: “Repeat…repeat!”
Armstrong and Aldrin: “Let us sound this orbita ….. In 625 to 5…automatic relay connected… My hands are shaking so badly I can’t do anything. Film it? God, if these damned cameras have picked up anything… what then?” Mission Control: “Have you picked up anything?”
Armstrong and Aldrin: “I didn’t have any film at hand. Three shots of the saucers or whatever they were that were ruining the film.” Mission Control: “Control, control here. Are you on your way? Is the uproar with the U.F.O.s. over?
Armstrong and Aldrin: “They’ve landed there. There they are and they are watching us.” Mission Control: “The mirrors, the mirrors…have you set them up?”
Armstrong and Aldrin: “Yes, they’re in the right place. But whoever made those space ships surely can come tomorrow and remove them. Over and out.”
Did you know the space pioneer and the sixth man who stepped foot on the lunar surface, Edgar Mitchell strongly believed in the existence of extra-terrestrial life and according to him, NASA has been working with them for a long time.
He said,” It’s been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it’s leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it. I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we’ve been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real.”
There is a conspiracy that Mitchell told a man named Farida Iskiovet (allegedly a former U.F.O investigator for the President of the United Nations) about the UFO he saw on the moon.
John Lear also said that NASA astronauts flew to Mars in 1966. Moreover, Lear believes that astronauts had been preparing for this mission especially long. They introduced certain drugs into the body, allowing people to adapt to Martian climatic conditions. Allegedly, those astronauts could breathe rarefied Martian air, so NASA had the opportunity to launch humans on the red planet for a longer time.
On the evening of November 9, 1974, police in the quiet town of Carbondale, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, got a curious call from some scared teens. The group of friends, consisting of John Lloyd, 14, William Lloyd, 16, and Robert Gillette, 15, claimed that they had been outside playing in a park when they saw a fiery object “like a shooting star” come speeding over the nearby Salem Mountain to plummet to earth behind some trees, showering a trail of sparks behind it and emitting a “whistling noise” the whole way. When the curious boys excitedly ran over to see what had happened, they realized that the object had come down into a pond, or more accurately a large coal breaker pit filled with water. When they approached the pond’s edge, they claimed to have seen something down in the depths eerily glowing in the water about 20 feet from shore. They also claimed that there was a fizzing sound from the pond for a few minutes, as if “someone had thrown a cigarette in the water.” Police at first thought it was an obvious prank, but officers were sent to check it out anyway. This would be the beginning of one of the strangest UFO cases in Pennsylvania history.
When police arrived, they were surprised to see that there indeed was something out under the surface emanating a spooky glow, with the teens even claiming that it seemed to have changed positions since they had first called it in. The police had no idea what it could be, and they quickly cordoned off the area just to be safe. It seems as if they still sort of thought of it as a joke, though, because one policeman even apparently fired off four shots into the pond at the mysterious object, to no effect. A closer look at the glow seemed to suggest that it was coming from a circular or spherical object, perhaps 5 feet in diameter, and that this glow seemed to be pulsating with a white-yellowish light. Police speculated that it was perhaps a downed plane, but the speed with which it had hit the water and the description from the boys seemed to discount this. Another idea was that it was a meteorite, some sort of space junk or even a downed Soviet missile. However, none of these explanations can explain one police report that a boat sent to investigate had seen the light seemingly rush towards them before returning to its original resting spot. What was going on here? No one had a clue. By the next morning the glowing had stopped.
Carbondale, Pennsylvania
Before long word had gotten out about a “UFO crash” at the pond, and police had their hands full trying to keep the flow of hundreds of congregating gawkers from approaching the water. In the meantime, Dr. J. Allen Hynek’s Center for UFO Studies in Evanston, Illinois was contacted by police about the strange incident and he suggested that it was likely a meteor or a meteor fragment, as well as recommending that Geiger counter readings be taken at the site just in case. Hynek would also send a UFO field investigator to the site. Another investigator who would be called in was M.J. Graeber, ufologist and founder of UFORIC, a Philadelphia-based UFO Report and Information Center. By this time the area was flooded with thousands of curiosity seekers and UFO enthusiasts, with many more clogging up the roads leading into the city, and all sorts of rumors were heavily making the rounds. Graeber would say of the scene and the flying rumors:
It looked just like a scene from a science fiction movie and fears grew that emergency vehicles could not have got through if they were needed. To make matters worse, although we hadn’t a ghost of an idea of what was actually in the water, rumors were spreading like a brush-fire and a few very vocal UFO enthusiasts who were milling about at the site were questioning the effectiveness of the police, fire companies and UFO researchers’ retrieval efforts. There was a rumor that an alien space ship had landed – not crashed – in the silt pond and that the military had managed to recover whatever was in the water and spirit it away before anyone had an opportunity to see it. In one rumor scenario, the UFO was loaded upon a flatbed railcar that was brought to the site on a nearby (albeit, long abandoned) railroad spur – and in another account, two military helicopters were used to lift the object from the water and place it in an armored truck. Curiously, I too became linked to a rather ridiculous rumor which placed me at the scene as a government agent or high ranking Air Force officer disguised as a UFO field investigator. But the truth was that I was just a guy who had an interest in the UFO phenomenon and had been investigating sighting reports for about two years prior to the incident.
Curiously, Graeber would report that there were only police at the scene and a single Air Force officer, with no armed military men present, despite what others would later claim. While the investigation was being carried out, the local Fire Department made efforts to pump and drain the pond to find out if anything was in there, but they faced many difficulties with debris and silt, making the process extremely slow going and basically useless. Another idea was to try and use a crane fitted with a magnet to lift whatever it was out, but this proved to be impractical and there was still the fear that whatever it was could be leaking dangerous substances. They ended up calling in a diver by the name of Mark Stamey to come in and take a look, and in the meantime some of the UFO investigators were being interviewed about their thoughts on the matter. Most of them were beginning to think this was perhaps a hoax, or at most a meteor. Graeber would say:
The UFO researchers were being interviewed by the press and a TV station’s helicopter circled the pond churning up the water. Although we still hadn’t any solid information on what the object in the water might be, Dr. Hynek’s representative and I were starting to suspect that the incident might be a prank that the teens had perpetrated on a nothing else to do Saturday night whim. We thought that perhaps their hoax simply got out of control and took on a life of its own – and that the boys may have been too scared to fess up to what they had done. Of course, it may have been that the boys had witnessed a meteor or a bolide (a large and occasionally exploding meteor) streaking across the night sky and mistakenly assumed that it was the same luminous object that they discovered moments later in the pond. This seemed to be a reasonable notion, as the boys’ description of the aerial phenomenon they had observed was absolutely meteoric in character. However, my inspection of the alleged crash site revealed that there were no topographical indicators to suggest that something like a plane, a large piece of space junk or a meteor had impacted the pond or the area surrounding it. There wasn’t any obvious displacement of earth; there was no displacement of water from the pond; there were no indicators of a fire, downed tree limbs or skid marks creating a gouge in the soil.
It is quite possible that this is correct, as when Stamey finally suited up and dove in, he returned a short while later with a 12‐inch miner’s lantern. After this, the whole thing would fall apart. Robert Gillette Jr. would admit that he had thrown the lantern into the water to scare his sister, although the other two boys insisted that what they had seen was true, that an object really had come down from the sky. Nevertheless, the news soon hit that it was all a hoax, the disappointed crowds quickly dissipated, and the UFO researchers packed their bags and went home. However, there were still many who believed that a UFO, or at least something strange, had really come down, and there were many reports from people who insisted that they had seen a big flatbed truck on the road near the pond with something large on it and surrounded by the military, with the lantern planted there to make people go away and cover up the fact that they had retrieved an alien ship. This whole conspiracy would be fueled when years later Gillette would recant his confession to throwing the lantern in the pond and admitting that something larger was removed, although he shies away from aliens and thinks it was likely some Soviet tech. Gillette has said of this:
My girlfriend broke up with me, so I was in a bad mood. I just told them what they wanted to hear, that it was a lantern. It wasn’t a lantern. Something was pulled out of the pond. I don’t think it was aliens. Some people do. I never called it a UFO. The official people did.
The case has become quite the piece of lore in the area, and there are still plenty of people who thing there is more to it than meets the eye. While it seems on the surface that it must surely be just a prank that got out of control, is that really what is going on here? Did these kids just pull off a hoax that managed to pretty much shut the whole town down? If so, why are there so many other reports of something strange going on? Did something come down into that pond or not, and if so, what was it? Was this a plane, meteor, satellite, or something all together stranger? Was there someone who wanted to cover it all up by orchestrating it as a hoax? The case is so long ago now, and so written off as just a prank, even by many ufologists, that it hasn’t really been investigated any further, and so it is left up to the imagination.
The saga of the Flying Saucer began with the pilot Kenneth Arnold, whose 24 June 1947 encounter at the Cascade Mountains, Washington State, kicked off the modern era of UFO sightings. At approximately 3.00 p.m. on the afternoon in question, Arnold was searching for an aircraft that had reportedly crashed on the southwest side of Mt. Rainier. At the time of its occurrence, Arnold’s encounter attracted the keen interest of not just the public and the media, but also that of the all-powerful Federal Bureau of Investigation. The following is a verbatim statement made by Arnold himself and taken from previously Secret FBI records of 1947 that confirm the Bureau’s deep interest in his strange encounter: “I hadn’t flown more than two or three minutes on my course when a bright flash reflected on my airplane. It startled me as I thought I was too close to some other aircraft. I looked every place in the sky and couldn’t find where the reflection had come from until I looked to the left and the north of Mt. Rainier, where I observed a chain of nine peculiar looking aircraft flying from north to south at approximately 9,500 feet elevation and going, seemingly, in a definite direction of about 170 degrees.”
Arnold stressed that the objects were approaching Mt. Rainier very rapidly and he was puzzled by their physical appearance: “I thought it was very peculiar that I couldn’t find their tails but assumed they were some type of jet plane. The more I observed these objects, the more upset I became, as I am accustomed and familiar with most all objects flying whether I am close to the ground or at higher altitudes. The chain of these saucer-like objects [was] at least five miles long. I felt confident after I would land there would be some explanation of what I saw [sic].” No conclusive explanation for Arnold’s sighting ever surfaced, and the mystery regarding what he did or did not see has raged for more than half a century. Even the FBI – that was monitoring UFO activity in the summer of 1947 on a somewhat ad hoc basis – came away impressed by the report: “It is difficult to believe that a man of [Arnold’s] character and apparent integrity would state that he saw objects and write up a report to the extent that he did if he did not see them.”

As UFO sightings reached epidemic proportions across the USA in the summer of 1947, the military swung into action, and various studies and operations were formulated that ultimately unified into an official, investigative operation known as Project Sign. That project would, in 1948, make way for Project Grudge; and, finally, Project Blue Book, which continued until 1969. Collectively, the three projects concluded that no UFO sighting investigated officially had ever had a bearing on national security, and there was no evidence to indicate that any UFO sightings represented alien visitations. Of course, numerous claims, counter-claims, arguments and counter-arguments have been put forth by a variety of authors and commentators on whether or not some UFOs are indeed alien spacecraft, and whether or not elements of the US Government, military and intelligence community have systematically hidden evidence in support of that theory from the public and the media alike.
Two weeks after the encounter of Kenneth Arnold, Brigadier General George F. Schulgen, Chief of the Requirements Intelligence Branch of Army Air Corps Intelligence, met with Special Agent S.W. Reynolds of the FBI with a view to determining if the Army Air Force could solicit the assistance of the Bureau on a regular basis in its investigation of the UFO mystery. General Schulgen advised SA Reynolds that, “every effort must be undertaken in order to run down and ascertain whether or not the flying discs are a fact and, if so, to learn all about them.” An examination of the relevant files of the FBI demonstrates that, in the weeks following Arnold’s encounter of 24 June 1947, the foremost thought on General Schulgen’s mind was that the saucers were Russian in origin. He confided in Special Agent Reynolds that, “the first reported sightings might have been by individuals of Communist sympathies with the view to causing hysteria and fear of a secret weapon.” It was for this reason that the Army Air Force sought the FBI’s assistance.
General Schulgen guaranteed the FBI “all the facilities of [my] office as to results obtained,” and outlined a plan that would involve the FBI in both locating and questioning witnesses to UFO sightings to ascertain whether they were sincere in their statements that they had seen flying saucers, or whether their statements were prompted by “personal desire for publicity or political reasons.” Similarly, in 1953, the Robertson Panel – a select group of consultants brought together by the CIA to look at the national security implications of the UFO controversy – recommended that a number of the public UFO investigative groups that existed in the United States at the time, such as the Civilian Flying Saucer Investigators (CFSI) and the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO), should be “watched” carefully due to “…the apparent irresponsibility and the possible use of such groups for subversive purposes…”
Indeed, the fear and concern expressed by the military, the CIA, and the FBI in the formative years of official UFO studies that those implicated in the Flying Saucer mystery had “Communist sympathies” or were following a covert, political agenda – the intention of which was “causing hysteria” and subversion – led to intense surveillance of practically anyone and everyone that delved into the subject, and particularly those that criticized the Government’s handling of the situation.
