Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

Some UFO and alien encounters can be even stranger than usual. In some cases we have accounts that just seem on the surface to be particularly absurd and outlandish, often leaving us with no idea what to make of them. Such accounts can serve to generate much controversy and debate, and one of these is certainly the time a farmer in Wisconsin supposedly met a trio of aliens that gifted him some pancakes from space.
One of the weirdest UFO encounter cases I’ve ever come across started on the morning of April 18, 1961, in a rural area of Eagle River, Wisconsin. On this morning, a 60-year-old chicken farmer by the name of Joe Simonton sat down out on his porch to enjoy his breakfast on a calm, peaceful morning, but the day was about to deviate into the strange. As he sat there eating and looking out over his chicken farm, Simonton allegedly had his peace ruined by a loud sound like “knobby tires on wet pavement” coming from behind the house. It was an odd enough sound that he went back there to investigate, and it was then that he saw a silver disc measuring about 12 feet high and 30 feet in diameter and with something like come “exhaust pipes” on the side came down out of the sky to hover over his property, and as it did things would get even more bizarre.
According to Simonton, a hatch opened on the bottom of the otherworldly craft, and out crawled three little dark-skinned men about 5 feet in height, dressed in what looked like two-piece black suits, turtlenecks, and helmets sitting atop their heads. Simonton would say the strange little men were “Italian-looking,” and they were holding something that looked somewhat like a jug. The beings approached him and gestured with their jug, and although they were completely silent Simonton was hit by the strong message in his mind that they wanted him to fill it with water. He took the jug from them, which he described as “a beautiful thing, a Thermos jug-like bottle quite unlike any jug I have ever seen here on Earth,” and filled it with water, and as he was doing that two of the entities took out a device that was sort of like a flameless gas grill. When Simonton returned with the water, the aliens were hard at work purportedly cooking something on their little grill, which on closer inspection looked something like pancakes. The creatures then popped a stack of the “pancakes” off of the grill, each of them roughly 3 inches in diameter and perforated with small holes, and gave it to Simonton, before saluting him and getting back into their craft to fly off at such speeds that it was “gone in two seconds.” The farmer was left there with this stack of alien pancakes in his hands, and he would later tell reporters:
If that was their food, God help them, because I took a bite of one of them and it tasted like a piece of cardboard. If that’s what they lived on, no wonder they were small. … When they left I stood there in the driveway with a pile of greasy pancakes and my mouth open wondering what the heck I just saw, what happened.

Although it sounds far too weird to be true, amazingly there were other eyewitnesses who saw the same UFO fly over the area, and this caused the whole thing to draw the attention of the United States Air Force and the National Investigating Committee for Aerial Phenomena. The mysterious pancakes were analyzed by the Food and Drug Laboratory of the U.S. Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, who came to the rather mundane conclusion that they were made up of hydrogenated fat, starch, buckwheat hulls, soya bean hulls and wheat bran. Did that mean they weren’t from aliens? No, but it certainly didn’t paint them as anything that proved they were from otherworldly beings either. As this was going on, the story was being picked up in newspapers, with many of the reports decidedly tongue in cheek, and Simonton and his space pancakes were becoming a sort of laughing stock. However, he stuck by his story, and the Air Force investigator Dr. J. Allen Hynek would come to the conclusion that the man at least really believed what he was saying. Hynek would say:
There is no question that Mr. Simonton felt that his contact had been a real experience. Simonton answered questions directly, did not contradict himself, insisted on the facts being exactly as he stated and refused to accept embellishments or modifications. He stated he was sure that we wouldn’t believe him but that he didn’t care whether he was believed. He stated simply that this happened and that was that. He appeared quite sincere to me, did not appear to be the perpetrator of a hoax.

An odd detail to the case that doesn’t seem to be mentioned too often in articles on the matter is that in the days after the encounter Simonton would claim that dozens of his chickens got suck and died. He was sure that it had to do with the UFO he had seen, and told a local Judge Frank W.Carter about it, who would then write:
Simonton informed me that 23 chicken died since April 18th and thought maybe I that may have been caused by the alleged Saucer. He sells eggs to customers in town here, and the sheriff, County Agricultural Agent and myself drove out, from a Health standpoint, to see IF the eggs might’ be affected by Radiatiol. We took one diseased chicken to a local vet who “thought” the chicken MIGHT be sick from Food deficiency, and becoming cannibals, pecking at each other I where feathers drop off and kill each other. No Geiger was used however.
Making it all even odder still was that there were many rumors surrounding the case, including one perpetuated by pulp flying saucer magazine publisher and UFO researcher Raymond Palmer, who put out the rather bizarre theory that Simonton had been hypnotized by an Eagle River real estate broker and the whole thing planted in his head as a part of a real estate scam to get the farmer off his property so that a “miniature Disneyland” could be built. Right. In the meantime, as far as the U.S. Air Force was concerned, the case was labelled as simply “unexplained,” and then sort of swept away and forgotten. Considering that the pancakes are ling gone and the case has mostly faded away, we are left to wonder just what went on here. Was this a hoax perpetuated by Simonton or some sort of delusion? Or was there perhaps something more to it all? We will probably never know, and it remains one of the weirdest alien encounter cases there is.
For decades, stories of alien abductions, UFO encounters, Flying Saucer sightings, and Area 51 have led millions of people to believe that extraterrestrials are secretly among us. But what if those same millions of people are all wrong? What if the UFO phenomenon has much darker, and far more ominous, origins than the realm of outer-space? Since 2007, I have been carefully and quietly investigating the strange world of a secret group buried deep within the U.S. Government nicknamed the Collins Elite. In 2010, my book, Final Events and the Secret Government Group on Demonic UFOs and the Afterlife was published and told the story of my findings. It is the belief of the group that far from being extraterrestrial in origin, our purported alien visitors are, in reality, deceptive demons and fallen-angels; the minions of Satan, who are paving the way for Armageddon, Judgment Day, and the reaping and enslavement of our very souls. It’s important to note that I do not personally adhere to the beliefs of the Collins Elite, as I have consistently noted in just about every interview I did for the book. I wrote the book for one reason: because I found it fascinating there was a group in government that fully believes the UFO issue is demonic and – quite literally – hellish.
I was prompted to investigate the story of the Collins Elite after speaking, in 2007, with a man named Ray Boeche, who is a priest and also a former State-Director for the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) in Lincoln, Nebraska. Back in 1991, Ray was contacted by a pair of physicists who were working on a classified Department of Defense program to contact what were described to Ray as “Non-Human Entities”” or NHEs. Initially, the NHEs – contact with whom was done in a mind to mind fashion only, and in a way that paralleled the government’s remote-viewing programs of the 1970s and 1980s – were believed to have extraterrestrial origins. That view changed radically when a deep and dark atmosphere enveloped the group. There were near-endless runs of bad luck, people attached to the program died under mysterious circumstances, and the group ultimately came to believe that the NHEs were not ETs after all, but deceptive and deadly demons, seeking to manipulate and control us, the human race. The two physicists were deeply troubled by all this, hence the reason why they contacted Ray Boeche, to determine if he was able to offer advice and guidance, given his background as both a priest and a ufologist. When Ray told me all this – and much more too – it prompted me to dig further into the work of this mysterious, shadowy think-tank-type organization, which I learned went by the nickname of the Collins Elite. Whether it has a more formal title I still do not know.
Beyond any shadow of doubt at all, the strangest belief of the Collins Elite was that relative to the Roswell affair of July 1947. In what is certainly a unique fashion, they came to believe that nothing – extraterrestrial or otherwise – crashed at Roswell. Rather, the group concluded that the event was “staged” – a “Trojan Horse”-type event provoked by demons trying to deceive us into accepting the idea that vulnerable ETs had crashed at Roswell, and who were responsible for the wave of Flying Saucer encounters that gripped the nation in the summer of 1947. For the Collins Elite, the “alien debris” and “memory metal” said to have been recovered at the crash site on the Foster Ranch, New Mexico, were nothing less than the result of diabolical “demonic alchemy.” In other words, the group formed an opinion that these strange entities “weaved” the materials, then had it manifest on the Foster Ranch, thus creating the image of a crash of something exotic from the skies. But, what of the bodies said to have been found at the site? Well, the Collins Elite had an answer to that issue too. Their members claimed to have read reports suggesting that no literal bodies were ever found at Roswell – at all. Rather, they maintained that certain “biological materials” were recovered. Is it possible that some equally strange form of diabolical alchemy was at work to create not just the so-called memory-metal that a number of players in the Roswell saga described seeing, but also to generate a type of extraterrestrial Jackalope, a creature that looks real and that exhibits prime evidence of DNA, flesh, bone, and skin, but that is, in reality, nothing more than a brilliant piece of hoaxing? This is most certainly what the Collins Elite came to accept as – ahem – gospel.
A park worker took a video of what some people are describing as the Loch Ness Monster of China. The man, whose name is Xiao Yu, works at the Changbai Mountain scenic park in Jilin Province and that’s where he noticed something strange in the waters of Tianchi Lake (or “Heaven Lake”).
He videotaped the strange black round object that was floating on the lake’s surface. It appeared to be about seven feet in width and remained still in the water for numerous minutes. His footage has some people claiming that what he captured was the mysterious creature that is said to live in the lake. In fact, reports of the Heaven Lake monster date back to 1962 when a person claimed to have seen two of the monsters chasing each other in the water. Interestingly, there have been other alleged sightings of the monster in Kanas Lake that’s located in a valley in the Altai Mountains in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

Yu films footage on a daily basis in order to document the weather that he shares to his Douyin account (China’s version of TikTok). However, on the morning of October 20th he noticed something out of the ordinary. “…I went to the Heaven Lake to film footage as usual,” he told MailOnline, “I didn’t notice it at first, but I suddenly saw a black dot.”
Since he took the video at an elevation of 500 meters (1,640 feet) above the lake, the object appeared rather small but according to Yu it was actually quite big. The mysterious object remained still in the water for numerous minutes before Yu decided to leave the location and go back to work.
He went on to say, “I had similar sightings before but they were clearly fishing boats,” adding, “But this time, I could not tell what it was. It definitely wasn’t a boat.”

The lake measures 1.9 square miles and is situated on the border between China and North Korea. While the military from North Korea would sometimes fish on the lake, visitors aren’t allowed to go down to it which raises the question of what exactly was in the water. “The area by the lake is completely closed to the public. There would be absolutely no one there,” Yu explained.

The alpine lake is renowned for having a mysterious beast - the Chinese equivalent to the Loch Ness Monster - said to be first sighted nearly six decades ago.
The mountain caretaker, Xiao Yu, told MailOnline that he spotted the seven-foot-wide creature while patrolling the scenic spot yesterday morning.

Since the first reported sighting in 1962, dozens of people claimed to have witnessed what is said to be the Heaven Lake monster.
Xiao Yu, who has worked at the Changbai Mountain National Park as a souvenir shop assistant for the past decade, said he saw the unusual object in the middle of the lake on Tuesday morning.
He has also been documenting the area's weather with videos which he shares daily on Douyin, the Chinese equivalent of TikTok.
'Yesterday, I went to the Heaven Lake to film footage as usual,' Xiao Yu, 28, told MailOnline. 'I didn't notice it at first, but I suddenly saw a black dot.'
The footage, filmed from a viewing platform 500 metres (1,640 feet) above the lake, shows the black circular object remaining still on the water surface.
Xiao Yu, who has worked at the Changbai Mountain National Park as a souvenir shop assistant for the past decade, said he saw the foreign object in the middle of the lake on Tuesday
The park worker can be heard saying: 'An unknown object appeared at the Heaven Lake. The black spot looks small [on the video] but it is actually fairly big.'
The 'mysterious beast' remained visible for several minutes while the mountain caretaker was filming the video. He eventually left and headed back to work.
'I had similar sightings before but they were clearly fishing boats,' Xiao Yu added. 'But this time, I could not tell what it was. It definitely wasn't a boat.'
The protected lake, covering 4.9 square kilometres (1.9 square miles), lies on the border between China and North Korea.
The North Korean military would fish on the lake occasionally, the Chinese worker said, but visitors to the national park are strictly forbidden from entering the area.
'The area by the lake is completely closed to the public. There would be absolutely no one there,' Xiao Yu added.
Rumour of the monster in Heaven Lake started in 1962 when an observer reportedly saw two of the monsters chasing each other in the water using a telescope.
Another China's legendary lake monster is said to have been spotted in Kanas Lake, a freshwater lake situated in a valley of Altai mountain in Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region in north-west China.

Unidentified submerged objects (USOs) are not as famous as UFOs although they are often encountered, according to declassified Russian Navy records. The common trait of all USO phenomena is that they involve unexplained and technologically advanced objects, far superior to anything we’ve ever built.
One of the most interesting cases he examined involved a nuclear submarine on a combat mission in the Southern Pacific. During the routine operation, the submarine detected six unknown objects travelling in formation at speeds in excess of 230 knots (265+ mph). In comparison, the fastest submarine was the Soviet K-222, which reached about 44 knots (51 mph).
The submarine’s sonar determined the objects were heading straight for it so the captain gave the order to surface. The USOs followed them to the surface then flew away. Similar instances have been reported in the region of the Bermuda Triangle, as retired submarine commander Yuri Beketov recalls. On-board instruments often malfunctioned, indicating the presence of strong interference. Many believe this is a clear sign of USO/UFO presence.
“On several occasions the instruments gave reading of material objects moving at incredible speed. Calculations showed speeds of about 230 knots, or 265 mph. speeding so fast is a challenge even on the surface. But water resistance is much higher. It was like the objects defied the laws of physics. There’s only one explanation: the creatures who built them far surpass us in development,” said Beketov.
Both UFOs and USOs seem to concentrate wherever military operations occur, indicating their interest in humanity’s military arsenal.
Another USO hotspot is Lake Baikal in Russia. The world’s deepest freshwater lake has always had a certain mysterious nature and fishermen tell tales of lights being spotted in its deep waters. Multiple folk tales describe swimmers being dragged down by creatures lurking beneath Baikal’s calm waves.
Another of the Russian documents described the encounter between a group of military divers and several humanoid beings in silver suits. The divers were training in Lake Baikal at a depth of 150 feet (50 meters) when they came upon a group of unknown creatures. The divers went deeper in the pursuit of the humanoids. Three men were killed, while the other four were severely injured.
Vladimir Azhazha believes the issue should be thoroughly investigated.
“I think about underwater bases and say: why not? Nothing should be discarded,” says Azhazha. “Skepticism is the easiest way: believe nothing, do nothing. People rarely visit great depths. So it’s very important to analyze what they encounter there.”
Geraldo Fuentes writes, Petroglyphs in the Oklahoma panhandle describe them as “. Roman records call them “flying shields”. They have even been compared to huge Mexican hats and flying saucers. Disc shape UFOs have been the dominant style of sightings for a long time. It’s what we typically think of when we hear the word “UFO”.
In the last few decades, UFO sightings have included some huge triangles, wedges or “v” shapes, orbs and globes of light.
Now it’s cylinders, tubes or “cigar” shaped UFOs that are chic and high on the Paparazzi list. This “minimalist” design makes me feel uneasy… the simplicity of a silver metal cylinder seems to contradict the complexity of interplanetary space travel — at least as I can imagine it. But what else could they be?
The tubular type of space vehicle, if that’s what it really is, has been around for a while. It has been a frequent UFO shape described by airline pilots for a couple of decades. The wingless, cigar shaped object is often described as being metallic black or a dirty silver, windowless and sometimes trailing a greenish light from its stern. Their large size seems to confine them to higher altitudes. They are seldom seen near the Earth’s surface. Estimates of their length varies from hundreds of meters to over a kilometer. They can hover for hours then rapidly accelerate. These cigar shaped objects have even been observed harboring smaller, saucer shaped craft and orbs. A UFO crashed through the Arctic ice 6 years ago, and has been operating in the Arctic sea ever since, according to newly released documents made available from State Dept. e mails, by way of the FSB’s WikiLeaks division.
The villagers of Igloolik, Nunavut were asleep when a streak quickly crossed the sky and struck the ice with a bang. 200 villagers came out their doors, but there was nothing to see except black water steaming and bubbling through a round, 10 meter hole in the ice. It was a night late in November 2010 and no one wanted to linger long outside in the middle of a dark night. The truth of what had happened was almost unimaginable.

This is not the first time that the Canadian Navy has been forced to investigate UFO phenomena. The Shag Harbor UFO incident was the reported impact of an unknown large object into waters near Shag Harbor, a tiny fishing village in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia on October 4, 1967. At least eleven people saw a low-flying lit object head towards the harbor at about 11:20 p.m… Multiple witnesses reported hearing a whistling sound “like a bomb”, then a “whoosh”, and finally a loud bang. The object was never officially identified, and was therefore referred to as an unidentified flying object (UFO) in Government of Canada documents. The initial report was made by local resident Laurie Wickens and four of his friends. Driving through Shag Harbor they spotted a large object descending into the waters off the harbor.
Once at a better vantage point, Wickens and his friends saw an object floating 1000 feet offshore. Wickens contacted the RCMP detachment and reported he had seen a large airplane or small airliner crash into the waters off Shag Harbor. The Canadian military became involved in a subsequent rescue/recovery effort. Assuming an aircraft had crashed, within about 15 minutes, 10 RCMP officers arrived at the scene as the object started to sink and disappeared from view. But by the next morning, the RCMP had determined that no aircraft were missing. Divers allegedly claimed they spotted a UFO conducting repairs at the bottom of harbor. The cause of the incident was never solved by the Canadian authorities.
Operation Highjump
Admiral Richard E. Byrd in 1928 as he leads a team of explorers to the coldest continent on Earth to map the region and claim large tracts offer his explorations of Antarctica using airplanes and other modern technical resources. Byrd was afterward promoted to rear admiral for this achievement.
Admiral Byrd in an interview with Lee van Atta of International News Service aboard the expeditions command ship, the USS Mount Olympus, discussed the lessons learned from Operation Highjump which had been terminated unexpectedly by the US Navy. The interview appeared in the Wednesday, March 5, 1947 edition of the Chilean newspaper El Mercurio, and read in part as follows:
Admiral Richard E. Byrd warned today that the United States should adopt measures of protection against the possibility of an invasion of the country by hostile planes coming from the Polar Regions. The admiral explained that he was not trying to scare anyone, but the cruel reality is that in case of a new war, the United States could be attacked by planes flying over one or both poles. This statement was made as part of a recapitulation of his own polar experience, in an exclusive interview with International News Service.

Admiral Byrd in an interview with Lee van Atta of International News Service aboard the expeditions command ship, the USS Mount Olympus, discussed the lessons learned from Operation Highjump follows:

At the end of World War II many Nazis escaped from Germany and traveled to Antarctica. In 1947 Secretary of the Navy James Forrestal sent a naval task force to Antarctic including Admiral Nimitz, Admiral Krusen and Admiral Byrd, called “Operation Highjump”. It was touted to be an expedition to find “coal deposits” and other valuable resources, but in actuality they were trying to find the underground base of the Nazis (Aryans) in Neuschwabenlandt.

Soviet Submarines Pursued by UFOs
Dr. Bruce Maccabee writes, “The following story was told to me by Dr.Vladimir Azhazha, (One the Leading Russian Experts on UFOs) while we were both attending a UFO symposium in Japan in 1990.”
“On one occasion a Soviet nuclear submarine, which was on a combat mission in the Pacific Ocean, detected six unknown objects. After the crew failed to leave behind their pursuers by maneuvering, the captain ordered to surface. The objects followed suit, took to the air, and flew away.”
Azhazha said that the captain of this sub assumed the objects were American subs. When he couldn’t shake them by maneuvering he decided to surface under the assumption that they would also and there would be communication during which time the captain could tell the Americans to “get lost.” Instead, when the captain and a crew member reached the sail (top) of the surfaced submarine he was astonished to see the objects rise out of the water and fly away. According to Azhazha the captain eventually became an admiral. He would not say the admiral’s name, but said it began with the letter “K”.
The Navy article stated: “On several occasions the instruments gave reading of material objects moving at incredible speed. Calculations showed speeds of about 230 knots, of 400 kph. Speeding so fast is a challenge even on the surface. But water resistance is much higher. It was like the objects defied the laws of physics. Poughkeepsie—More Proof of Media UFO Cover-up, reporter Greg Boone recounted his UFO experience while employed at the Poughkeepsie Journal newspaper in New York State. On August 25 1985, Boone, along with 10 other newsmen, received word from a photographer that a huge, boomerang-shaped UFO was slowly flying over the area. The photographer stated that the craft was headed south and it might be visible from the third-floor office windows.

The most recent human cases of SARS-CoV infection were reported in China in April 2004 in an outbreak resulting from laboratory-acquired infections killing 800 people in China

China is currently a signatory of the Biological Weapons Convention.

While key leaders in the US, UK, France, Italy, and Sprain have gotten sick none of the key leaders in China’s military nor government leaders have gotten sick suggesting they have some sort of built in immunity which is the mark of a biological weapon.

California Object
Los Angeles – – Use of crop circle tones through a Bluetooth speaker and several hour of meditation one object appeared in the northwest horizon on May 28, 2020. While the object moved around my green laser pointer, I managed to video the object with my iPhone. I heard voices of Love coming in my head throughout the whole experience. The duration of the whole event last until dawn. Afterwards my forehead hurt for several days. I put up Wyze cameras in the back porch in June and started to get many orbs flying around my back porch. I have been catching the orbs and objects on a weekly basis. I know infrared cameras catch things that the human eye can’t see…
Florida Boomerang
Tampa– On October15, 2020, it came from behind my building, which is north. I was sitting on my balcony looking up at the clear sky, looking at the star constellation Ryan’s Belt when this light grey figure crossed my line of vision. I realize the shape was defined, very light luminous grey, no noise at all. Was not going very fast and was traveling in a straight line. It was less than a minute. I could not see it as it traveled south due to the building in from of my apartment. I went online to see if I could find any images of similar sightings and I found one that looked similar as far as shape and dim grey glow but the one attached looks like transparent clouds, my sighting looked solid & smooth and had a perfect shape. If I had to guess, it was /50 ft on each side of the V shape with 30-40 ft in width. Like I said, it was traveling south and that’s where MacDill Air Force base is,
Georgia Lights
Augusta– On October5, 2020, I was driving down the road to my mom’s house, and saw this thing in the sky. It seemed too low for a plane and really big. I got video on my phone, but really the video does it no justice as to how big it was.
It had four or five lights. A couple that were red, and a few white, that all blinked. It went the opposite direction of me, and then to my left. The light I was sitting at turned green, so I kept driving. Not sure what happened after that.
New York Light
Rona— I was looking out my window at around 3:50 am since it was a rather clear night and the stars were visible, nothing happened for a few minutes when as I was looking at a cluster of stars the craft just appeared and flew in a straight line above my house, it wasn’t like anything I’ve seen before. I have seen lights in the sky of many variations but I have never seen something so large, it was either black or reflective (hard to tell since it was really dark and appeared out of nowhere) and was in a smooth boomerang shape from what I could tell, there were two white lights on each side and a faint glowing trail that quickly disappeared behind it. Tulsa– On October 9, 2020, I was taking photos of an AWACS plane that was flying over my house Captured object in “live action photo: on my I Phone. The picture also has the 1.5 seconds before the actual photo was taken. However I don’t know if this function is included when sharing the photo or if it’s just the still photo. I have 4 pictures and the object is only in the first.
When the live action photo is played on the IPhone the object is moving very very fast from East to West in the Northern sky.
Oregon Lights
Newberg– On October14, 2020, 6:09 am Newberg Oregon. I took my 2 dogs out to pee. I noticed the stars out; it was still dark outside, cold and clear with some light thin clouds in the sky. I noticed some star constellations, they were very bright. First Orisons Belt, then I looked left and saw one of the dippers. Then looked toward the west and saw over 30 stars in a row. A straight line and the line were moving. An example is an open strand of pearls. And if you were pulling them in a straight line. They were moving toward 30degrees. There was a cloud I could not see through, a thin cloud. I was not able to see them once they moved behind the cloud. I told my husband in a frantic tone “there are UFO’s in the sky” I ran downstairs to film. I tried videoing the lights, 3-5 times, but it was so dark and they were not showing up. Maybe with good photo editing, they can be seen. Anyway, my husband ran outside and watched as the last 20-30 were heading into the cloud bank. What was really strange (it was all strange) the last light was not at the same distance as all the other lights before it in line. It was “falling behind”. Then it got light out within a few minutes and it was over.

South Wayne— Mom my daughter and I went for a walk to enjoy the fall weather and take pictures of the fall colors. Randomly taking pics of trees and whatever we could find including silhouettes of the tree on the cloudy sky. When we got back to the house she has me look at a pic of the sky that has super bright light in dark clouds. I tried to be optimistic about it saying camera flare or glitch hut the next pic was hard to do that with. The light was not only very bright through dark clouds but the second pic had a small branch in the way of the light blocking some of the light. The only way that could happen if it was an actual light in the distance. We went back 15 minutes or so later taking pics and videos of every direction and couldn’t find the light again it was just gone. I didn’t see it until after I looked through my pictures from that day. It was quiet and I would never have known it was there until I saw my picture.

Salt Springs—October16, 2020, Driving on the Highway NS 104 W I noticed this in the sky. It wasn’t a jet stream and stayed basically stationary or moving very slowly. It was in my view for 15 minutes until I took an exit which made its location unbearable to me. There was someone else pulled over photographing it. The color almost looked holographic. Adjusting the color of the photos it looks like it has an outline, the stream didn’t change length. It was slowly shrinking or fading before I lost sight of it.

Wexford – On October 19 2020,10, 2020I was mowing the grass with my 2 year old, he took interest in a jet flying overhead. After a min of him being fascinated I took a look as well. I spotted the jet and flying underneath a black dot both heading west, the black dot then turned north. I took 2 photos; it was so bright I could not really make out where the dot was. Maybe the craft use our jets as cover against radar?

Planetary systems with both super-Earths and Jupiter-type planets may be common, according to a new study. As in our own solar system, the giant planets would act as “bodyguards” protecting the smaller planets from asteroid impacts.

The largest planet in our solar system, Jupiter, has often been credited for helping life to exist on Earth, by deflecting dangerous asteroids from entering the inner solar system and colliding with our world. So what about in other solar systems? Do other Earth-type habitable planets also have, or need, larger Jupiter-like worlds protecting them? Is this Earth-Jupiter dynamic just a fluke, or is it a normal part of the development of planetary systems?
An international group of astronomers, led by Martin Schlecker of the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy (MPIA), has just announced a new study showing that this kind of planetary arrangement may be more common that previously known. The results suggest that rocky Earth-type planets – at least super-Earths as in this study – will often be accompanied by larger Jupiters orbiting further out, just like in our own solar system.
The findings are detailed in a new peer-reviewed paper that has been accepted for publication in the journal Astronomy & Astrophysics. The latest version of the paper, submitted on October 13, 2020, is available on arXiv.
The research focuses on super-Earths in particular, rocky planets that are just a bit larger and more massive than Earth but significantly smaller and less massive than Neptune. New computer simulations suggest that these planets will often form in their solar systems along with Jupiter-like planets in outer orbits, reminiscent of the arrangement in our own solar system. As Schlecker said in a statement:
We call such gas giants cold Jupiters. They grow at a distance from the central star, where water exists in the form of ice.
The smaller, rocky worlds are referred to as dry super-Earths, with thinner atmospheres and relatively little water or ice. Even Earth is considered to be a dry planet overall, since the oceans and other water and ice only make up very little of the planet’s volume. Schlecker said:
Also, the Earth is, despite the enormous oceans and the polar regions, with a volume fraction for water of only 0.12%, altogether a dry planet.

This cold Jupiter and dry super-Earth dynamic is therefore quite similar to what we see in our own solar system, except that our planet is just a bit smaller than a super-Earth. However, we don’t know yet if this is also true for planets actually about the same size as Earth as well, since the study focused more on super-Earths.
How did the researchers come to these conclusions?
They made a statistical evaluation of new computer simulations involving 1,000 planetary systems in the process of evolving around sun-like stars. According to Christoph Mordasini, a paper co-author from the University of Bern:
During the simulations, the planetary embryos collected material, grew into planets, changed their orbits, collided or were ejected from the system.
Such simulations support the investigation of exoplanetary systems, since planets like cold Jupiters require a lot of time to orbit their mother star in their wide orbits. Simulations, on the other hand, are in principle independent of such limitations.

Observations of actual planetary systems had found something surprising: ones with a cold Jupiter almost always had a super-Earth as well. Schleckler explained:
We wanted to verify a surprising finding following observations made in recent years that planetary systems with a cold Jupiter almost always contain a super-Earth.
But the simulations seemed to show something different, that only about 1/3 of cold Jupiters should also have a super-Earth in the same system. Synthetic solar system models appeared to have even less, with only 10% of them having both types of planets.
Why the discrepancy? Scientists have several ideas, but a main one has to do with the rate at which giant Jupiter-like planets gradually migrate inward closer to their stars. According to current planetary formation theory, this should result in more gas giant planets in intermediate orbits, between the outer solar system and the inner solar system. These warm Jupiters should interfere with the orbits of inner super-Earths and either collide with them or cause them to be ejected out of their planetary systems. But that is not what has been observed. Therefore, scientists think that the rate is probably slower than first thought, which would allow more super-Earths to remain in close orbits around their stars, just as has been observed many times now.
In that scenario, more planetary systems should end up having both Jupiters and super-Earths.

The results are fairly general in nature, since current observations have not yet been able to specifically categorize the differences between different super-Earths. Some are thought to be mostly rocky, while others may have global oceans, depending on their size and mass. Nevertheless, the results of the simulations show that many planetary systems should have both a cold Jupiter and a dry super-Earth, as stated by Schleckler:
We found a significant excess of planetary systems containing both a cold Jupiter and at least one dry super-Earth, i.e. with little water or ice, and a thin atmosphere at most.
Which planetary systems do end up having both depends largely on the mass of the protoplanetary disk, the huge rotating cloud of gas and dust that planets form from around a newborn star. Medium mass disks, for example, would have too little material to form either super-Earths in the inner solar system or cold Jupiters farther out. However, super-Earths could form in the outer regions of the system, and contain large amounts of ice. If a protoplanetary disk is massive enough, then it could form both super-Earths closer to the star and cold Jupiters farther out from the star.
The new simulations have made some interesting predictions for how many planetary systems should have both types of planets. But verifying them and reconciling them with current observations will take time. Two upcoming telescopes will be able to help do that, the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) of the European Southern Observatory and the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). Schleckler said:
Theoretical predictions must be able to fail in the face of empirical experience. With the next-generation instruments that are about to be deployed, we will be able to test whether our model will hold up or whether we have to go back to the drawing board.

It will be interesting to see if these computer models hold up, or not. Our own solar system, for example, has a Jupiter, but no super-Earths. Instead we have good ol’ Earth, which is a little smaller than the planets that the study focused on. If the results are verified, does that mean there may also be many planetary systems with both a Jupiter and an Earth-sized world as well? Could well be, but we will just have to wait a bit to find out!

Captured on October 20, 2020, during the OSIRIS-REx mission’s sample collection event on asteroid Bennu, this series of 82 images shows the spacecraft’s field of view as it approaches and touches down on Bennu’s surface. The sampling event brought the spacecraft all the way down to the sample site, and the team on Earth received confirmation of a successful touchdown at 6:08 p.m. Preliminary data show the sampling head touched Bennu’s surface for approximately 6 seconds, after which the spacecraft performed a back-away burn.
On Tuesday (October 20, 2020), NASA’s OSIRIS-REx spacecraft unfurled its robotic arm and touched an asteroid – known as Bennu – to collect dust and pebbles from the surface. The aim of the OSIRIS-REx mission is to bring the sample back to Earth for study in 2023.
The OSIRIS-REx spacecraft, about the size of a 15-passenger van, is currently orbiting the asteroid Bennu 200 million miles (321 million km) from Earth. When the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft arrived at asteroid Bennu in December 2018, its close-up images confirmed what mission planners had suspected: Bennu is made of loose material weakly clumped together by gravity, and shaped like a spinning top.
Scientists had expected Bennu’s surface to consist of fine-grained material, like a sandy beach, but the spaceship’s images showed instead a rugged world littered with boulders the size of cars, the size of houses, even the size of football fields. Using OSIRIS-REx’s high-resolution imagery and data from its laser altimeters – devices that use lasers to map Bennu’s terrain – NASA scientists have created the video tour, below, of Bennu’s remarkable terrain.
Bennu contains material from the early solar system and may contain the molecular precursors to life and Earth’s oceans. OSIRIS-REx engineers and scientists will use several techniques to identify and measure Tuesday’s sample remotely. If the October 20 sample collection event provided enough of a sample, mission teams will command the spacecraft to begin stowing the cargo to begin its journey back to Earth in March 2021. Otherwise, they will prepare for another attempt in January 2021.
On October 15, 2020, NASA released the following list of what we already know (and some of what we hope to find out) about this pristine remnant from the early days of our solar system.
Bennu is classified as a B-type asteroid, which means it contains a lot of carbon in and along with its various minerals. Bennu’s carbon content creates a surface on the asteroid that reflects about 4% of the light that hits it, and that’s not a lot. For contrast, the solar system’s brightest planet, Venus, reflects around 65% of incoming sunlight, and Earth reflects about 30%. Bennu is a carbonaceous asteroid that hasn’t undergone drastic, composition-altering change, meaning that on and below its deeper-than-pitch-black surface are chemicals and rocks from the birth of the solar system.
2. And very, very old.
Bennu has been (mostly) undisturbed for billions of years. Not only is it conveniently close and carbonaceous, it is also so primitive that scientists calculated it formed in the first 10 million years of our solar system’s history, over 4.5 billion years ago. Thanks to the Yarkovsky effect – the slight push created when the asteroid absorbs sunlight and re-emits that energy as heat – and gravitational tugs from other celestial bodies, it has drifted closer and closer to Earth from its likely birthplace: the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

3. Bennu is a ‘rubble-pile’ asteroid. But don’t let the name trick you.
Is Bennu space trash or scientific treasure? While “rubble pile” sounds like an insult, it’s actually a real astronomy classification. Rubble-pile asteroids like Bennu are celestial bodies made from lots of pieces of rocky debris that gravity compressed together. This kind of detritus is produced when an impact shatters a much larger body (for Bennu, it was a parent asteroid around 60 miles [about 100 km] wide). Bennu, for contrast, is about as tall as the Empire State Building (1,454 feet or 443 m). It likely took just a few weeks for these shards of space wreckage to coalesce into the rubble-pile that is Bennu. Bennu is full of holes inside, with 20% to 40% of its volume being empty space. The asteroid is actually in danger of flying apart, if it starts to rotate much faster or interacts too closely with a planetary body.
4. Asteroids may harbor hints about the origin of all life on Earth …
Bennu is a primordial artifact preserved in the vacuum of space, orbiting among planets and moons and asteroids and comets. Because it is so old, Bennu could be made of material containing molecules that were present when life first formed on Earth. All Earth life forms are based on chains of carbon atoms bonded with oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen and other elements. However, organic material like the kind scientists hope to find in a sample from Bennu doesn’t necessarily always come from biology. It would, though, further scientists’ search to uncover the role that asteroids rich in organics played in catalyzing life on Earth.
5. … But also platinum and gold!
Extraterrestrial jewelry sounds great, and Bennu is likely to be rich in platinum and gold compared to the average crust on Earth. Although most asteroids aren’t made almost entirely of solid metal (but Psyche may be!), many do contain elements that could be used industrially in lieu of Earth’s finite resources. Closely studying this asteroid will give answers to questions about whether asteroid mining during deep-space exploration and travel is feasible. Although rare metals attract the most attention, water is likely to be the most important resource in Bennu. Water (two hydrogen atoms bound to an oxygen atom) can be used for drinking or separated into its components to get breathable air and rocket fuel. Given the high cost of transporting material into space, if astronauts can extract water from an asteroid for life support and fuel, the cosmic beyond is closer than ever to being human-accessible.
6. Sunlight can change the asteroid’s entire trajectory
Gravity isn’t the only factor involved with Bennu’s destiny. The side of Bennu facing the sun gets warmed by sunlight, but a day on Bennu lasts just 4 hours and 17.8 minutes, so the part of the surface that faces the sun shifts constantly. As Bennu continues to rotate, it expels this heat, which gives the asteroid a tiny push towards the sun by about 0.18 miles (approximately 0.29 km) per year, changing its orbit.
7. There’s a small change that Bennu will impact Earth late in the next century.
The NASA-funded Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research team discovered Bennu in 1999. NASA’s Planetary Defense Coordination Office continues to track near-Earth objects (NEOs), especially those like Bennu that will come within about 4.6 million miles (7.5 million kilometers) of Earth’s orbit and are classified as potentially hazardous objects. Between the years 2175 and 2199, the chance that Bennu will impact Earth is only 1 in 2,700, but scientists still don’t want to turn their backs on the asteroid. Bennu swoops through the solar system on a path that scientists have confidently predicted, but they will refine their predictions with the measurement of the Yarkovsky effect by OSIRIS-REx and with future observations by astronomers.
Captured on August 11, 2020, during the second rehearsal of the OSIRIS-REx mission’s sample collection event, this series of images shows the SamCam imager’s field of view as the NASA spacecraft approaches asteroid Bennu’s surface. The rehearsal brought the spacecraft through the first three maneuvers of the sampling sequence to a point approximately 131 feet (40 meters) above the surface, after which the spacecraft performed a back-away burn.
Early Earth-based observations of the asteroid suggested it had a smooth surface with a regolith (the top layer of loose, unconsolidated material) composed of particles less than an inch (a couple of centimeters) large at most. As the OSIRIS-REx spacecraft was able to take pictures with higher resolution, it became evident that sampling Bennu would be far more hazardous than what was previously believed: new imagery of Bennu’s surface show that it’s mostly covered in massive boulders, not small rocks. OSIRIS-REx was designed to be navigated within an area on Bennu of nearly 2,000 square yards (meters), roughly the size of a parking lot with 100 spaces. Now, it must maneuver to a safe spot on Bennu’s rocky surface within a constraint of less than 100 square yards, an area of about five parking spaces.
9. Bennu was named after an ancient Egyptian deity
Bennu was named in 2013 by a nine-year-old boy from North Carolina who won the Name that Asteroid! competition, a collaboration between the mission, the Planetary Society, and the LINEAR asteroid survey that discovered Bennu. Michael Puzio won the contest by suggesting that the spacecraft’s Touch-and-Go Sample Mechanism (TAGSAM) arm and solar panels resemble the neck and wings in illustrations of Bennu, whom ancient Egyptians usually depicted as a gray heron. Bennu is the ancient Egyptian deity linked with the sun, creation and rebirth. Puzio also noted that Bennu is the living symbol of Osiris. The myth of Bennu suits the asteroid itself, given that it is a primitive object that dates back to the creation of the solar system. Themes of origins and rebirth are part of this asteroid’s story. Birds and bird-like creatures are also symbolic of rebirth, creation and origins in various ancient myths.

10. Bennu is still surprising us!
The spacecraft’s navigation camera observed that Bennu was spewing out streams of particles a couple of times each week. Bennu apparently is not only a rare active asteroid (only a handful of them have been as yet identified), but, along with Ceres as explored by NASA’s Dawn mission, may be among the first of its kind that humanity has observed from a spacecraft. More recently, the mission team discovered that sunlight can crack rocks on Bennu, and that it has pieces of another asteroid scattered across its surface. More pieces will be added to Bennu’s cosmic puzzle as the mission progresses, and each brings the solar system’s evolutionary history into sharper and sharper focus.

Fans of “The Late Show with David Letterman” will remember a recurring segment called “Is this anything?” where the host and the bandleader Paul Schaffer would watch some strange event and then debate about whether it was anything to be impressed with, afraid of, etc. Ever since the millisecond-long fast radio bursts (FRBs) were detected by astronomers in 2007, space scientists and the general public have been trying decide if they’re anything. Are they signals from an alien civilization? Are they hyperflares from equally mysterious magnetars? If they repeat regularly, then what? Well, get ready to play again because the only known source of FRBs in the Milky Way just sent another burst. Is this anything?

“SGR J1935+2154, the host magnetar of the Galactic FRB200428 (ATel #13681, #13684), was reported to be radio-active again on 2020 Oct 8th by CHIME/FRB team (ATel #14074, #14080). There was one marginal detection of the magnetar’s pulsed radio emission at 408 MHz by the Medicina Northern Cross (ATel #13783) despite many attempts (ATel #13713, #13726, #13778, #13838). FAST observed this magnetar for one hour on 2020 Oct 9th at 1.25 GHz with a bandwidth of 460MHz and detected multiple radio pulses with fluence up to 40 mJy ms.”
That post on the pro astronomers bulletin board ‘The Astronomer’s Telegram’ reports than the CHIME/FRB team (Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment) was watching the Milky Way magnetar SGR 1935+2154 (30,000 light years from Earth) on October 8 when it emitted three millisecond radio bursts in three seconds, followed by a pulsed radio emission that matched the magnetar’s spin period. SGR 1935+2154 has been under close watch since April 2020 when it emitted its first FRBs, making it the first in the Milky Way and one of only two dozen magnetars ever discovered. Magnetars are neutron stars (collapsed super-giants) with unusually powerful magnet fields, and the discovery led astronomers to answer ‘Yes’ to the ‘Is this anything’ question – this is the first confirmed cause of FRBs. It may not be the only one, but it’s definitely the first.
It’s definitely something
“It’s really exciting to see SGR 1935+2154 back again, and I’m optimistic that as we study these bursts more carefully, it will help us better understand the potential relationship between magnetars and fast radio bursts.”
Astronomer Deborah Good of the University of British Columbia in Canada and a member of the CHIME/FRB, confirmed to ScienceAlert that this is something, especially since the three bursts occurred within one rotation period of the magnetar, with two of them close together. Good called this “a bit unusual” and something the CHIME/FRB team would analyze, but the report in ‘The Astronomer’s telegram’ reveals why this set of bursts could be a BIG something.
“Based on these results and the increasing bursting activities, we speculate that the magnetar may be in the process of turning into an active radio pulsar.”
Radio pulsars are rapidly spinning neutron stars that emit radio radiation from their poles in millisecond pulses. This means SGR 1935+2154 may be more than a magnetar – it may be the missing link between magnetars and radio pulsars.

The Tourism and Antiquities Ministry said in a statement that archaeologists had found the collection of colourful, sealed caskets which were buried more than 2,500 years ago.
Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly and Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khalid el-Anany toured the area and inspected the new discovery yesterday.

The dramatic find was unearthed south of Cairo in the sprawling burial ground of Saqqarah, the necropolis of the ancient Egyptian capital of Memphis, a UNESCO World Heritage site
Ancient Egyptian burial rituals
Over thousands of years, ancient Egyptians developed elaborate and complex funerary practices that they believed were necessary to enter the afterlife.
The processes evolved over time, but many elements remained consistent through different ancient Egyptian dynasties.
The most classic form of mummification dates back to the 18th Dynasty that spanned the the period from 1549/1550 to 1292 BC.
First, the brain was removed. Some say this was by a metal hook inserted through the nose, while others say it was with a rod through the cranium which was used to liquefy the brain.
The brain would have then been drained out through the nose before the skull was filled with a mixture of tree resin and fragrances.
This stopped the decomposition of any residual brain tissue, and also suppressed the smell.
Then, the lumbar area was sliced open and the organs of the abdomen were removed. The heat was usually left. These were then heavily salted and placed in canopic jars.
The now-empty chest cavity was then filled with a mixture of aromatics.
All incisions into the body were then filled with a salt called natron which disinfected wounds.
The body was then put on a bed of natron for a period of between 35 and 70 days.
At the end of this period, the now dehydrated corpse was washed, oiled and covered with resin as adhesive.
The body was then wrapped in linen until it was fully covered.
Depending on the social status of the deceased, the mummy was sometimes then adorned with decorations, such as a mask or a shroud.
The mummy was then buried in a tomb, ready for the afterlife.
Just over two weeks ago Egypt revealed 59 sealed sarcophagi, with mummies inside most of them, in the same area of Saqqara.
The Saqqara site is located south of Cairo and the vast burial complex, which also features the step pyramid of Djoser, served the ancient capital of Memphis.
It also includes the famed Giza Pyramids, as well as smaller pyramids at Abu Sir, Dahshur and Abu Ruwaysh.
The ruins of Memphis were designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1970s.
The plateau hosts at least 11 pyramids, including the Step Pyramid, along with hundreds of tombs of ancient officials and other sites that range from the 1st Dynasty (2920-2770 B.C.) to the Coptic period (395-642).
Earlier this month, one of dozens of ornately decorated sarcophagi was opened for the first time before assembled media.
The team slowly revealed mummified remains wrapped in burial cloth that bore hieroglyphic inscriptions in bright colours.
The majority of coffins housed mummified remains which initial research suggests would have been priests, top officials and elites in ancient Egyptian society.
All of whom would have likely been subject to ancient Egypt's complex burial rituals after they died, including having their brains removed with an iron hook.
Egypt's Minister of Antiquities and Tourism, Dr. Khaled El-Enany, said at the time: 'I can say most of the discoveries have been made by Egyptian teams on Egyptian soil. This is something I am immensely proud of.'
He said the mission had started re-excavating the site two months ago, and uncovered a burial shaft 36 feet deep. Inside, they found 13 intact coffins.
The team continued their excavations, discovering two more shafts - 32 and 39 feet deep - also filled with coffins.
All the coffins discovered so far are in good condition and bear their original colours.
'My colleagues in the Supreme Council of Antiquities discovered burial shafts filled with wooden, sealed and intact coffins,' El-Enany said.
'I am really impressed that Covid-19 did not stop them from digging to unveil more mystery and secrets about our great civilisation.'
The minister said that the coffins would be transported to the Grand Egyptian Museum to be displayed to the public.
Just over two weeks ago Egypt revealed 59 sealed sarcophagi , with mummies inside most of them, in the same area of Saqqara. This find adds to the enormous trove of historical finds in the African nation
Archaeologists also found colourful, gilded wooden statues, officials said. Details of the new discovery will be announced soon in a news conference at the famed Step Pyramid of Djoser

HOW ANCIENT EGYPTIANS EMBALMED THEIR DEAD
It is thought a range of chemicals were used to embalm and preserve the bodies of the dead in ancient cultures.
Russian scientists believe a different balm was used to preserve hair fashions of the time than the concoctions deployed on the rest of the body.
Hair was treated with a balm made of a combination of beef fat, castor oil, beeswax and pine gum and with a drop of aromatic pistachio oil as an optional extra.
Mummification in ancient Egypt involved removing the corpse’s internal organs, desiccating the body with a mixture of salts, and then wrapping it in cloth soaked in a balm of plant extracts, oils, and resins.
Older mummies are believed to have been naturally preserved by burying them in dry desert sand and were not chemically treated.
Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) techniques have been deployed in recent years in find out more about the ancient embalming process.
Studies have found bodies were embalmed with: a plant oil, such as sesame oil; phenolic acids, probably from an aromatic plant extract; and polysaccharide sugars from plants.
The recipe also featured dehydroabietic acid and other diterpenoids from conifer resin.
A little more than a month ago, I wrote an article on the 13 ancient Egyptian coffins that were unearthed in the desert necropolis of Saqqara, located south of Cairo, Egypt (the article can be read here). The colorful coffins that date back more than 2,500 years (between 664 and 525 BC) were completely sealed and untouched.
After their initial discovery of the 13 coffins inside of a burial shaft that was 36 feet deep, experts continued digging and found two other shafts (32 feet and 39 feet deep) that contained several more coffins that were in good condition and still held their original colors.

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities revealed that more than 80 coffins have been discovered. Additionally, they found colorful, gilded wooden statues. The 28 statuettes were of the god Ptah-Soker and a carved bronze one depicting the god Nefertum which measured a foot tall and had precious stones embedded in it along with the name Priest Badi-Amun who owned it. In addition to those, several ushabti figurines and amulets were also found.
Earlier this month, on October 3rd, archaeologists opened one of the coffins as several people watched with excitement. The coffin revealed a mummy that was wrapped in ornate burial linen. Amazingly, the inscriptions and colorful designs were still present on the cloth after approximately 2,600 years.

It is believed that those who were buried in the coffins were top officials and other important members in Egypt during that time as well as priests from the 26th Dynasty. According to Egypt’s Minister of Antiquities and Tourism, Dr. Khaled El-Enany, the coffins will be brought to the Grand Egyptian Museum in order for the public to view them. The Saqqara site where the coffins were located is part of the necropolis at the ancient Egyptian capital of Memphis that includes the Giza Pyramids and smaller pyramids at Abu Sir, Dahshur, and Abu Ruwaysh. There are at least eleven pyramids located in the plateau that includes the Step Pyramid as well as hundreds of ancient tombs that date back between the 1st Dynasty from 2920 to 2770 BC and the Coptic Period from the years 395 to 642.
De sonde OSIRIS-REx van het Amerikaanse ruimtebedrijf NASA is er eerder deze week in geslaagd om zeer grote hoeveelheden deeltjes van de asteroïde Bennu te verzamelen, maar verliest ook monsters in de ruimte. Dat meldt NASA vandaag. De sonde "verliest een groot deel van de verzamelde massa", verklaarde Dante Lauretta, de chef van de missie, in een telefonische persconferentie.
Volgens de wetenschapper heeft de sonde 400 gram materiaal van Bannu meegenomen. Al 5 tot 10 gram is ontsnapt. Die zweeft rond de arm van de sonde en blijft daar hangen vanwege de microzwaartekrachtomgeving. Daardoor gedragen de deeltjes zich als vloeistoffen.
Zaterdag was er een meetoperatie van de massa gepland, maar die is geannuleerd. Met die operatie zouden de wetenschappers het risico lopen dat nog meer deeltjes ontsnappen.
De prioriteit is nu om de activiteiten van de sonde zo veel mogelijk te beperken en de monsters zo snel mogelijk op te slaan in een container in de sonde. Daarvoor moet het apparaat nog voorbereid worden.
De verzamelde deeltjes bevinden zich momenteel nog in een compartiment aan het einde van de verzamelarm van de sonde. Het sluitingsmechanisme van dat compartiment is geblokkeerd door de relatief grote deeltjes.
"We denken dat we op momenteel een klein deel van het materiaal aan het verliezen zijn, maar dat is meer dan ik zou willen, ik maak me zorgen sinds ik de foto's heb gezien", verklaart Lauretta.
De ruimterots Bennu bevindt zich op bijna 333 miljoen kilometer afstand van de aarde. De sonde die het materiaal van de asteroïde verzamelde, werkt helemaal zelfstandig. De afstand naar de aarde is zo groot dat de vluchtleiding niet kan ingrijpen. De wetenschappers achter de missie hopen dat ze minstens 60 gram kunnen ophalen. In 2023 moet de ruimtesonde op aarde landen. De missie kost zo'n 1 miljard dollar.

I got a request from one of my Youtube subscribers a few days ago asking me to find a UFO near the sun. He loved my work and I told him I would get right on it. Today I found two! One entering our sun and one exiting our sun. This does reinforce my Hollow Sun Theory. A theory that says there is a whole mini solar system of mini moon size planets within our sun. One shot in from far away, only to disappear...the other shot out of the side of the sun during a solar explosion. Its huge boomerang wings still have me in awe of the craft. 100% proof that aliens are using a huge hollow space within our sun as a mini solar system.

This UFO report just came in. It included a video and photo of the object. What really surprised me is that the object was seen and followed for a few seconds, the the UFO seemed to realize it was being recorded and shot away at high speed in the opposite direction. Great video of the incredible maneuverability of UFOs. Also the photo itself has a cross like shape to it from the side...very strange. The video is fantastic and terrific evidence, but its the high detailed photo that confirms its 100% an alien craft.

I was at a stop light and looked up to see a metal sphere shape moving right under the clouds in a fast steady direction-the object seemed to have a green light coming from it whether it be an aura or steady lights I can’t say, I just know I noticed it being a metal ball and there was green on it or around it shining. I tried to video it but my video didn’t record it and I almost got in a wreck so I had to move on and pulled over and when I looked back up it was gone! Later in the day I kept looking up obsessively to try and spot it again and saw a white glowing orb just hanging out in the sky above me and I was able to film that however that wasn’t nearly as exciting as seeing what I saw at the stoplight but regardless both sightings by me in one day! So my video is of second sighting with the basic white glowing orb but not the cool sphere unfortunately.
