Scientists Find Genetically ‘Different’ Humans Adapted For Diving

No, scientists didn’t discover fish people, nor did they find a new species of humans. 

A mystery people living in Southeastern Asia has baffled scientists for years.

The people of the Bajau tribe, in Southeast Asia, only need a breath of air to dive up to 70 meters underwater and fish, remaining submerged for several minutes. This has led experts to question how dey manage to do it.

These people were almost like “super-humans” and have “extraordinary” capabilities…

A recent study published in the Journal cell describes how a certain population of humans has genetically adapted to dive underwater.

Experts describe a population that has remarkably larger organs, which help them stay underwater for greater periods of time.

This isn’t the first time that experts have found genetic mutations in humans.

The more we peer into our genes, the more we discover how people from around the world have adapted to their surroundings, making them remarkably unique in a number of ways.

For example, people in Tibet and the Ethiopian highlands have ‘evolved’ to better adapt to living at extremely high altitudes.

People in East Africa and Northern Europe have adopted a genetic mutation that allows them to better digest milk as adults.

And now, scientists reported a new type of genetic mutation different from the above-mentioned in sea-dwelling people in Southeastern Asia.

This genetic mutation allows them to become exceptional divers.

According to experts, the Bajau people, who are scattered in several communities across Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines have evolved to longer survive underwater.

These people traditionally live on houseboats, reports the New York Times.

NASA Releases 4K Video Of The Moon Ending The Moon Landing Conspiracy

NASA has just released a 4K video tour of Earth’s moon and the footage will make your jaw drop.

Even though Earth’s moon can be viewed in unprecedented detail from Earth, NASA has recently released a video filmed in 4k showing off the surface of the moon in unprecedented close-up detail, and the video will definitely take your breath away.

How can we describe the video footage?

Well, it’s stunning. It’s mesmerizing. It’s Fresh. It offers an entirely new way of exploring the surface of the moon, and you can see all of the most important and prominent features of the Earth’s satellite in the stunning video footage.

The footage dubbed as “virtual tour of the moon” in breathtaking 4K has been collected by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft over a span of nine years.

“The tour visits a number of interesting sites chosen to illustrate a variety of lunar terrain features,” Ernie Wright of NASA’s Space Visualization Studio explained in a blog post. “Some are on the near side and are familiar to both professional and amateur observers on Earth, while others can only be seen clearly from space.”

Wright explains that this recently published video is, in fact, an updated version of another one released 7 years ago, in 2011.

Despite the fact that the camera path may be the same, the data that has been gathered in 7 years has made it possible for NASA to create a far more incredible and detailed presentation of the moon.

The recently released 4k video displays a number of the moon’s features, combining colors that highlight important or noteworthy data to make sure you not only enjoy the view but learn something new.

One of the most interesting parts of the video is when we have the chance to fly over the Tycho Crater, a lunar formation said to be around 100 million years old.

The most interesting part occurs when you think you’ve seen the best part, the video zooms in unprecedently, focusing on Tycho Crater’s mesmerizing central peak which features an enigmatic 100-meter-wide bolder at the summit, “the origins of which are still a mystery,” the video’s narrator says, adding to the suspense.

In addition to the Tycho crater, you can also fly above the Apollo 17 landing site at the Taurus-Littrow Valley, which as explained in the video, is deeper than the Grand Canyon on Earth.

So, the end of the Moon landing conspiracy…right? 

I wonder, does that make the Taurus-Littrow Valley the ‘Grander Canyon’?

Anyway, while exploring the Apollo 17 landing site, the video offers a few overlays that show us the path NASA astronauts took as they spent three days on the surface of the moon in 1972.

You can appreciate the bottom half of the mission’s lunar lander and rover vehicle, items that have remained untouched and undisturbed for the last 46 years.

October 27, 1954–The Day A UFO Stopped a Football Game

As fascinating as it may sound, it’s true.

The ‘event’ happened in Florence, Italy, on October 27, 1954.

In October of 1954, a match involving the Italian team Fiorentina was interrupted by mysterious visitors hovering above the stadium. The Fiorentina UFOs were part of a wave of mass-sightings across Europe – and it remains a mystery to this day.

On that occasion one of the most massive UFO sightings in history took place: around 10 thousand people who were in theArtemio Franchi stadium watching the encounter between Fiorentina and Pistoiese witnessed the appearance of unidentified flying objects in the skies above the stadium.

Eventually, the match had to be suspended “because the spectators saw something in the sky” according to the official report of the match referee.

According to the testimony of one of the players present in that match, defender Ardico Magnini, who was something of a legend at the club and had played for Italy at the 1954 World Cup.

“I remember everything from A to Z,” he says. “It was something that looked like an egg that was moving slowly, slowly, slowly. Everyone was looking up and also there was some glitter coming down from the sky, silver glitter.

“We were astonished we had never seen anything like it before. We were absolutely shocked.”

He also remembered that a strange sticky and shiny material fell on the ground.

Other testimonies relate the presence not of one but of several strange objects in the sky.

La Nazione’s headline reads: Glass fibers fall on Tuscan cities after globes and flying saucers pass by. Lower headline: The sighting over Florence (with a photograph, now lost, of the UFO).

In the following days, numerous other UFO sightings were recorded in the towns near the stadium.

That unknown substance did not only fall on the court, but it covered a good part of Florence before evaporating.

Those who came into contact with this material describe it as similar to cotton but ungraspable as it disintegrated on contact.

An explanation, rare but scientific, of this phenomenon, arrived many years later: it could have been large networks of connected webs, which appeared in the sky as globes, shining by the reflection of the Sun since that is how spiders migrate.

Curiously, October coincides with the time of migration of the northern hemisphere spiders.

However, the material found simultaneously with the appearance of UFOs was analyzed in the laboratory and the elements found do not coincide with those that are part of spider webs.

Therefore, until this day, whatever the spectators and players saw floating above the Artemio Franchi stadium remains a profound mystery, and one of the best documented UFO cases in history.

The “Solway Firth Spaceman”—One Of The Most Inexplicable Images Ever Taken

More than 50 years ago, more precisely in May of 1964, a man called Jim Templeton snapped an image that would soon become one of the most mysterious images ever photographed.

In May of 1964, Jim Templeton, his wife, and daughter spent the day at the Solway Fjord in northwest England.

Jim was a photography enthusiast, and like all new parents, his main motivation was his daughter Elizabeth, five years old at the time.

That afternoon he took three photos, and when he went to reveal them, he found that the best picture of his daughter had been ruined because someone had appeared walking behind.

The only problem was, there was no one there.

Who or what is the mysterious figure behind Jim Templeton’s daughter?

Jim was entirely sure that the three of them were alone that day. So, who or what was the mysterious figure seen behind his daughter?

The curious photograph was published in a local newspaper in Cumberland on June 12 of that same year, and the next day, it was also picked up by the Daily Mirror and Daily Express.

As expected, it soon attracted the attention of all kinds of curious people, ufologists, and paranormal investigators who were trying to solve the mystery surrounding the photograph.

Following the publication of the image in various newspapers, a number of different theories were proposed. However, none of them seemed to satisfy.

One of the strangest theories proposed had Aliens written all over it.

One theory suggested that an alien spacecraft had landed near them and that both the ship itself and the aliens were protected by some sort of cloaking device, which made them imperceptible to human eyes but not to the camera.

The Alien theory developed and quickly turned into a conspiracy theory.

Some reports suggest that soon after the image was published in newspapers, Mr. Templeton was visited by the mysterious Men in Black, who asked him to take them to the exact area where the events took place.

Templeton explained later that the two men who had visited him refused to show their identification and that “They said they worked for the government and that they were only identified by number.”

After taking the men to the site where the photographs were taken, Templeton said that when he explained he had not seen the figure at the time, the men became angry and drove away, leaving him to walk home.

In September 1964, Templeton dismissed the two men as frauds, saying: “It all looks like a leg pull to me. I’m sure the men were not security agents.”

Trying to solve the mystery, Jim took the photograph and the negative to Kodak, so they could check the original had been manipulated in any way or contained a photographic error of some sort.

However, all attempts to explain the mystery figure were in vain, and tests showed that the photograph was authentic, and had not been manipulated.

The photographic company even offered a prize of free movies for life to that person who managed to prove otherwise.

Let it be known, the prize has not been claimed, but more than fifty years after the event took place, a few people remain interested in this mystery.

In 2014, UFO author David Clarke explained that the mysterious figure standing behind Jim’s daughter was most likely Templeton’s wife, Annie, who was present at the time and was seen on other photographs that were taken that day.

“I think for some reason his wife walked into the shot, and he didn’t see her because with that particular make of camera you could only see 70% of what was in the shot through the viewfinder”, said Clarke. Annie Templeton was wearing a pale blue dress on the day in question, which was overexposed as white in the other photos; she also had dark bobbed hair. It has been argued that, when using photo software to darken the image and straighten the horizon, the figure increasingly appears to be a regular person viewed from behind. Of its impact, Clarke said: “People will still be talking about it in another 50 years.”

Did NASA’s Apollo 17 Mission Really Spot A Pyramid On The Moon?

An image snapped by NASA’s Apollo 17 astronauts has created controversy among Ufologists. According to claims, the image cataloged as AS17-135-20680HR shows what many believe is a Pyramid on the lunar surface.

But… Long story short?

No, they did not, but the image is evidence of how easily we can be tricked into seeing things that aren’t really there, or how our mind identified familiar patterns.

There are pyramids all over the planet. For a reason, we are yet to find out, ancient civilizations, spread across Earth, and isolated from one another, built massive pyramid structures thousands of years ago.

Some say these ancient monuments were built as tombs, others say they were erected to pay tribute to the gods. But the real reason why there are thousands of pyramids on Earth remains a mystery.

And while pyramids on Earth remain a hotly debated subject, finding pyramids on another planet or moon goes beyond reason, venturing out into what many call a massive conspiracy.

Thanks to the various space programs, we have explored our neighboring planets and moons like never before.

But it all started with NASA’s Apollo missions.

The Apollo Program was a manned space program developed by the United States in the 1960s in the framework of the space race with the Soviet Union during the Cold War.

The project began in July 1960, when the US space agency NASA announced it, as a continuation of the Mercury missions. Apollo ran from 1961 to 1972, with the first manned flight in 1968.

The Apollo 17 mission, which lasted from December 7-19 marked the end of manned lunar exploration. The mission was characterized by being the only Saturn V night launch. The crew landed in Taurus-Littrow, and it was the final manned Moon landing. Surface EVA time: 22:02 hours, after which astronauts returned 110.40 kg of samples back to Earth.

However, the Apollo 17 mission was also marked by another peculiar occurrence.

While digging through some of the images made available to the public, UFO hunters came across an image cataloged as AS17-135-20680HR.

This image at first glance might not draw your attention, but upon closer examination, you will notice a triangle shaped object hiding in the background, which has led UFOlogists and UFO hunters to ask, what exactly did the Apollo 17 mission photograph on the moon? Is this image the result of a camera malfunction, Parts of the Rover? Or is there perhaps, a structure on the moon?

We decided to investigate a bit more and examined the image further and as we played around with the contrast and brightness of the image we managed to get some pretty nice results that helped us see this object in a better way. And despite the fact that after cleaning the image up a bit we do get a ‘pyramid-shaped structure,’ the truth is that it’s not really a pyramid, and there a couple reasons as to why.

From there, you can check out the images and videos taken by the astronauts during their 22:02 hour EVA.

We need to jump to image AS17-135-20680 (OF300) ( 209k or 1402k ) found under Magazine 135/G (B&W) EVA-2, Frames 20533-20680.

The image in question: AS17-135-20680HR. The result? A blurry image with a strange shape in the middle. Pyramid you say? I beg to differ.

Notice the Pyramid/triangle shaped object at the center of the image.

Let’s check out some other images taken before it.

Let’s begin with image AS17-135-20674 (OF300) (151k or 1343k). NASA describes the image: “LRV traverse from the SEP site to Station 2. This photo shows the trough that runs along the base of the South Massif. The Station 2 boulders are the two large ones at the right edge of the picture. The big crater mentioned in the dialog is at the left, farther up the slope.” Note: LRV stands for Lunar Roving Vehicle.

Finally, we arrive at our image in question, AS17-135-20680 (OF300) ( 209k or 1402k) which NASA describes as LRV Floor? Sunstruck.

The next image, AS17-136-20681was blank.

Verdict? The curious pyramid-like shape we see in the image is, in fact, the result of low-quality images snapped by astronauts. Position, light, and angle, all played an important role in obtaining a curious image that some have interpreted as a Pyramid on the moon when actually the only thing the astronauts snapped was the LVR under peculiar light conditions.

Note that Images labeled “OF300” are from the original film and are presented at the equivalent of 300 DPI on a 7.5-inch by 7.5-inch reproduction.

So, while there may certainly be peculiar things on the moon, structures that we may not be able to explain, these images snapped by Apollo 17 astronauts are not one of them.

Has Someone Really Discovered A 500,000-Year-Old Artifact In California?

On February 13, 1961, Wallace Lane, Virginia Maxey and Mike Mikesell were searching for interesting specimens of minerals, specifically geodes, for their gift shop in Olancha, California.

Their geodes search took them approximately 6 kilometers northeast of Olancha, about 4300 feet to the Coso Mountains near the dry bed of Owens Lake, where they were collecting samples.

They returned to the shop with several geodes.

But one of them had 500,000 reasons to be dubbed as the discovery of a lifetime.

The next day Mike Mikesell broke a blade while cutting what he thought was a geode, inside the object that he was cutting, Mikesell found anything but the typical cavity geodes usually has, to his surprise, he discovered a perfectly circular section of a hard white material that looked like porcelain. In the center of the porcelain cylinder axis was a 2 mm shiny metal. The metal shaft seemed like a magnet but there were other strange qualities in the object. The surface was very rough and it appeared as if it was coated with fossilized shells.

In addition to these strange deposits, he also found two nonmagnetic metallic objects embedded in the crust, which seemed like a metallic nail and a packing ring. As Mike Mikesell was analyzing the object, it seemed to get even stranger. The inner layer was hexagonal and seemed to form a shell around the cylinder of hard porcelain. On the inside, a layer of very deteriorated copper surrounded the porcelain cylinder.

Very little is known about the first inspections of this mysterious artifact. According to Virginia Maxey, they consulted a geologist who asked to remain unknown, according to this mysterious geologist who examined the fossil shells embedded in the sample, the piece would have taken at least 500,000 years to reach its current form. So what is a spark plug doing inside an artifact dating at least half a million years?

The object was submitted to further testing that confirmed the anomalies of the object as the artifact was submitted to both X-rays and visible light testing. X-rays revealed that in the upper half of the device there was some sort of coil. In the other half of the artifact revealed what seemed a metal sleeve, presumably the copper covering the porcelain cylinder.

In 1963, the strange object that was dubbed “The Coso Artifact” and was exhibited at the Museum of East California in the town of Independence for a period of three months. Then, for years it was exhibited in the home of Wallace Lane, one of the original three discoverers of the 500 thousand-year-old artifact. In 1969 Wallace Lane received an offer of $25,000 for the mysterious object but he refused to sell it.

The Coso Artifact remains a mystery. It is an object that appears to be lost as many other artifacts discovered in the past that have provided us with not only subjects to talk about, but with new challenges for history books. Who built the artifact, and what its purpose was will probably remain a mystery less the object is found, once again, so that other researchers might analyze it thoroughly.

“THERE’S NO SIGN OF E.T. OR UFO COVER-UP”, WHITE HOUSE SAYS

The White House has responded to two petitions asking the US government to formally acknowledge that aliens have visited Earth and to disclose to any intentional withholding of government interactions with extraterrestrial beings. “The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race,” said Phil Larson from the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy, on the WhiteHouse.gov website. “In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye.”

“Thank you for signing the petition asking the Obama Administration to acknowledge an extraterrestrial presence here on Earth. The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race. In addition, there is no credible information to suggest that any evidence is being hidden from the public’s eye. However, that doesn’t mean the subject of life outside our planet isn’t being discussed or explored. In fact, there are a number of projects working toward the goal of understanding if life can or does exist off Earth.”

5,387 people had signed the petition for immediately disclosing the government’s knowledge of and communications with extraterrestrial beings, and 12,078 signed the request for a formal acknowledgement from the White House that extraterrestrials have been engaging the human race.

“Hundreds of military and government agency witnesses have come forward with testimony confirming this extraterrestrial presence,” the second petition states. “Opinion polls now indicate more than 50% of the American people believe there is an extraterrestrial presence and more than 80% believe the government is not telling the truth about this phenomenon. The people have a right to know. The people can handle the truth.”

These petitions come from an Obama Administration initiative called ‘We the People’ which has White House staffers respond and consider taking action on any issue that receives at least 25,000 online signatures. Regarding these two petitions, the White House promised to respond if the petitions got 17,000 or more signatures by Oct. 22.

Larson stressed that the facts show that there is no credible evidence of extraterrestrial presence here on Earth. He pointed out that even though many scientists have come to the conclusion that the odds of life somewhere else in the Universe are fairly high, the chance that any of them are making contact with humans are extremely small, given the distances involved.

But that doesn’t mean we aren’t searching, there is just no evidence yet. Larson mentioned SETI (correctly noting that this at first was a NASA effort, but is now funded privately) keeping an “ear” out for signals from any intelligent extraterrestrials, with none found so far. He also added that the Kepler spacecraft is searching for Earth-like planets in the habitable zones around other stars, and that the Curiosity rover will launch to Mars this month to “assess what the Martian environment was like in the past to see if it could have harbored life.”

Regarding any evidence for alien life, all anyone has now is “statistics and speculation,” said Larson. “The fact is we have no credible evidence of extraterrestrial presence here on Earth.”

Whether or not this will appease or satisfy any conspiracy theorists or UFO believers is yet to be seen, but it is gratifying to see the White House respond in such a no-nonsense manner.

UPDATE: The Paradigm Research Group, one of the organizations sponsoring the petitions, has issued a statement saying, “As expected it was written by a low level staffer from the Office of Science and Technology Policy – research assistant Phil Larson. The response was unacceptable.”

Aliens Stopped U.S From Nuking The Moon:Air Force Colonel

A high-level Air Force Colonel claims the United States attempted to drop an atomic bomb on the moon in 1959, but were prevented from doing so by an advanced extraterrestrial race.

He served with the 5th Air Force in Japan and later as a ranking Colonel, Officer in Charge of the Pacific Unified Command (TM)s alternate “command and control center” in Hawaii. In 1962, he was transferred and served as Deputy for Material for the 832 Air Division at Canon Air Force Base, Clovis, New Mexico. He retired from the USAF in 1964.

He is one of hundreds of military whistleblowers with verified backgrounds to have been brought forth by Dr. Steven Greer’s Disclosure Project. His testimony about UFOs — specifically about UFOs and nuclear weapons — can be corroborated by a wealth of information and evidence that’s now available within the public domain. Many of these whistleblowers have made multiple appearances at the National Press Club in an effort to get this information out to the world, with the most recent example being the Citizens Hearing on Disclosure, which took place a few years ago.

With such a professional background, working in the places he has worked, it’s safe to infer he was privy to sensitive information on a number of subjects. This isn’t just a random high-ranking military whistleblower talking about a random issue. There are many whistleblowers and documents clearly outlining a decades-long relationship between UFOs and nuclear storage facilities and test sites.

A number of these incidents have visual confirmation, along with air and ground radar confirmation as well.

In the interview below, Dedrickson explains how the American government tried to detonate a nuclear weapon on the moon, but were prevented from doing so.

As far as the mainstream goes, it’s public knowledge that a declassified report by the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center from June 1959 shows just how seriously they considered the plan, called Project A119. In general, they wanted to investigate the capability of weapons in space, as well as gain further insight into the space environment and the detonation of nuclear devices within it.

It’s interesting how the world is so into television shows like Stranger Things, which depicts the Department of Energy and their involvement with otherworldly creatures and other strange facts, yet so willing to ignore a high ranking American Colonel who held very sensitive positions at the Department of Energy for years, at a time when all of this nuclear development was really hot. He is the real deal and it’s interesting to ponder what he might really know.

Some people might say that living in Hawaii is a gift in itself. Those people are probably not living in the path of the lava flowing from the Kilauea volcano on the Big Island, which is demolishing everything in its path, including vaporizing water in the ocean. Those who believe that Kilauea is the home of Pele, the fire goddess of Hawaiian folklore, may blame this on profiteers stealing the volcano’s thermal heat or tourists stealing Kilauea’s lava rocks. For those people, Pele may be compensating with a gift of her own … green gemstones falling from the sky. Is this a Pele payday?

Meteorologist Erin Jordan lives in Tuscon, Arizona – a long way from Hawaii – but she has friends there who sent pictures of the stones which she tweeted with an explanation that the shiny green crystals are olivine, a magnesium iron silicate with the formula (Mg2+, Fe2+)2SiO4. While it’s a gift from Kilauea in Hawaii, those who can’t afford a trip there might try Norway, where 50 % of the world’s industrial olivine in mined. In fact, olivine is a fairly common mineral on and in the ground, but separate large crystals falling from the sky is pretty unusual, according to minerals.net.

“Despite this, good specimens and large crystals are uncommon and sought after. Only few localities yield large examples of this mineral, although small and microscopic grains are found worldwide. Olivine is also found in meteorites, and large grains have been reported in many of them.”

Popular Mechanics reports that the falling crystals over Kilauea are inside the lava erupting into the sky. As the lava cools, it hardens into pumice — that porous rock commonly used as an abrasive for pedicures and in the production of stone-washed jeans. (Pele must be so proud.) Being full of holes and fairly lightweight, the pumice falls slowly, allowing the olivine crystals to drop out of the holes and fall separately.

Are these falling olivine stones really a gift from Pele? Possibly. Depending on the quality and size, it’s used as a gemstone called peridot or chrysolithe. However, it may actually be a present to the entire world. Olivine grains can be used to sequester or store atmospheric carbon dioxide, the nastiest of the greenhouse gasses, and slow down global warming by breaking down the CO2 as it weathers.

Sending the olivine rain to save the planet may be Pele’s real message to humanity … as long as humanity leaves the stones in Hawaii. It’s illegal to remove the gems – whether jewelry-sized or the sandy crystals that make up Hawaii’s green beaches. It would be just your luck to get caught picking up a peridot and placed in a jail that is suddenly in the path of a fast-moving lava flow just as the jailer loses the key to your cell.

It’s not nice to mess with the goddess of fire.

Around four and a half billion years ago, a giant cloud of gaseous matter in our neck of space began to come together thanks to the gravitational attraction between matter. Over billions of years, this matter began to form our Sun, the planets, and all of the other various bodies that make up our Solar System. At least that’s how the nebular hypothesis, as it’s known, describes the origins of our cosmic home. That hypothesis was first put forward in the 18th century by Swedish philosopher Emanuel Swedenborg and is still considered to be the best working theory we have as to how all the stuff out there in space came to be after the Big Bang – or whatever may have put it there.

That nebular hypothesis is backed up by our modern observations of how matter behaves and bodies form in space, but it’s rare that scientists are ever given concrete evidence of this early stage of our Solar System’s formation. However, a groundbreaking new study claims to have finally discovered a piece of the matter that would eventually form our Solar System. A high-altitude NASA aircraft collected a cometary interplanetary dust particle floating around in the stratosphere, and researchers believe this particle could be among the very first solid particles of matter in our Solar System. Is this a glimpse into the “star stuff” we’re all made of?

The research was led by University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa School scientist Hope Ishii. Using transmission electron microscopy, Ishii and her team found that the chemical composition of this particle formed in the cold, radiation-rich nebula which would eventually become our Solar System:

Our observations suggest that these exotic grains represent surviving pre-solar interstellar dust that formed the very building blocks of planets and stars. If we have at our fingertips the starting materials of planet formation from 4.6 billion years ago, that is thrilling and makes possible a deeper understanding of the processes that formed and have since altered them. This is an example of research that seeks to satisfy the human urge to understand our world’s origins.

Could a study of these early particles actually reveal much about our cosmic origins, though? Sure, discovering early solid particles is a fascinating glimpse into the early Solar System, but many people (myself included) aren’t content with understanding the chemical and physical mechanics of how gaseous matter eventually accreted into planets. Where did those gases come from? What caused the Big Bang? Why don’t hot dogs and hot dog buns come in packages of equal quantity?

The real higher mysteries.

Ultimately, we might never be able to get to the bottom of these deeper questions, no matter how many specks of unbelievably ancient stardust we find. Still, it’s a start.

One person captured a strange cloud formation that looks like a cityscape' a phenomenon that has been photographed before and looks like a hologram.

Another person caught an odd black rectangular sky beam with a bluish oval ring on top and a third person has photographed something that most closely resembles a ring-shaped disk or portal.

Is this ring-shaped disk a cloaked UFO or military craft that uses military cloaking techniques or could it be a portal to another dimension?

The Planetary Grid, Ancient Monuments, and how it is all Connected

The ‘Planetary Grid’ hypothesis is a modern concept which suggests that the Earth is surrounded by an invisible network of energy, carried around the globe by a kind of ‘geometric highway’ known as Ley-Lines.

These geometric lines meet at various intersecting points forming a powerful grid (see attachment).

What makes the theory so compelling is the number of sacred sites which run in alignment to these energy lines.

This includes many of the Earths major heritage sites such as the pyramids of Giza, the Prang temple, and Stonehenge.

The four types of sacred architecture which appear across these Ley lines are:

• Tombs: Marhoj Burial mound, Pyramid of Khufu, Janggun Chong
• Temples: Ziggurat of Ur, Prang pyramid, Tikal Temple
• Monuments: Stonehenge, La Puerta de Hayu Marka
• Shrines: Giant Buddha of Leshan, Moai Statues

The hypothesis raises several important questions:

• How did out ancestors know about the existence of this hypothetical energy grid?
• What was the interconnected purpose of these world monuments?
• And finally, what has become of this energy field today?

The only insight I can offer is that in one way or another, all these shrines and monuments are connected to the realms of the Gods (e.g. the heavens, the underworld and other legendary dimensions). With no current proof to support the planetary grid hypothesis, we can only speculate as to what this incredible alignment was really about.

VIDEO - VERY RARE FOOTAGE OF THE HELGIUM UFO WAVE OF 1989

This clip of a flying triangular object in the Belgian skies is one of the best and rarest UFO video footage out there.

This video footage is so rare that it is hard to find on the Internet. The UFO with the 3 light was filmed during the popular UFO flap in 1989.

It is only the footage of the object with the three triangular lights that is interesting. Even the military did not know what this was. There was radar confirmation by multiple sources of these objects and outmaneuvered any human-made airplane at that time.

At its peak, it saw objects being tracked on radar, fighter jets scrambled and over 2,500 written reports submitted by witnesses, but 24 years later no concrete explanation has been forthcoming regarding what has become known as the Belgian UFO Wave of 1989/1990. Despite this lack of explanation, many claim that the events in Belgium remain one of the best documented cases of UFO activity in recent history. Are these claims warranted or is this a case of UFO believers littering investigations with misleading information?

Though it spanned a number of months between the Fall of 1989 and Spring of 1990, the Belgian UFO wave, as many know it, centered around the events of March 30-31 1990. It was on this night that reports were made of three strange lights in the sky some 50km south of Belgium’s capital, Brussels. The first of these reports were received by the nation’s Control Reporting Center in Glons, which monitors radar signatures across the region’s airspace. The reports all consistently stated the same details. The lights were fixed in a triangular formation and were changing color at a rapid pace. When the reports started mounting up, the CRC requested that the local Gendarmerie – which back then was a paramilitary police force – send a team out to investigate.

At around 11:30pm, 30 minutes after the initial reports started coming in, the paramilitary police radioed in with visual confirmation of the lights. This visual confirmation was corroborated by the appearance of an object on CRC radar screens. In hope of finding an explanation, air traffic control authorities were soon contacted, but they were unable to account for the appearance of the object on radar. Within the next 30 minutes, just 1 hour after initial reports, a second group of lights had been confirmed and authorization was given to scramble to F-16 fighter jets for an intercept mission. To the bewilderment of Belgian authorities, these jets would make a number separate attempts to intercept the triangular light formations; every single attempt would fail. During the jet pursuit, the pilots made brief radar contact on a number of occasions, however, not once were they able to confirm visual contact with either of the objects.

By the time morning had broken on March 31st, authorities were left with hundreds of sightings reports that would soon become thousands. The statement from the Gendarmerie detailed a square light formation, whereas almost all of the earlier reports described the formation as triangular. Reports from the pilots that pursued the objects declared that they were moving so fast they could not possibly be human. Indeed, radar signatures suggested that at one point, the object was able to move from an elevation in excess of 15,000ft to just 500 ft in a matter of seconds.

These exciting events in the air were largely corroborated by reports from witnesses on the ground, of which there are rumored to have been as many as 13,000. With so many witnesses, one would expect countless items of photographic and video evidence to surface. Mysteriously though, such evidence has been in incredibly short supply over the last twenty years.

Media outlets soon started clamouring for something to show for the reports, but the few photos that were forthcoming were too blurry, a fact that would not be surprising given the alarming speed the objects were reportedly travelling at. When a witness by the name of ‘Patrick’ submitted his photo seen here, it became the poster child for the four month-long series of events that had captivated vast swathes of the Belgian populace. For years this photo was scrutinized by sceptics and UFO organizations alike, with the majority of parties categorized in the latter holding it up as proof that the Belgian UFO wave was an extraterrestrial event.

However, in 2011 the man behind the camera confessed that his image, the image that had become one of the most iconic photos in modern UFO history, was a hoax. The Belgian news channel RTL broke the news with a statement from the mysterious ‘Patrick’ that essentially said it was just time to come clean. The news was met with understandably mixed reactions. Many Ufologists, such as the head of Belgian UFO organization SOBEPS, claimed conspiracy, arguing that Patrick had been forced to claim his photo was a hoax, while the sceptics saw the confession as vindication for their stance.

By the end of 1991, the Petit-Rechain photo had become an icon of a new type of UFO: the Flying Triangle (or simply "FT" as ufologists like to call them). Despite the copyright and a substantial fee charged to use it, the photo ranks among the most published UFO photos ever. Endorsed by scientists and military officials, the slide acquired the best status possible in the field.

CAELESTIA Triangles over Belgium (addendum)

So with the 24th anniversary of the events approaching this weekend, the Belgian UFO wave remains as mysterious today as it was in 1990. It is an event that has stirred many an argument, with sceptical parties claiming it was a case of mass delusion sparked by media reports and heightened by extravagant coverage by UFO organizations. Others simply claim that the mass delusion argument is flawed by the presence of the objects on radar screens. While the lack of photographic evidence is used to support the sceptical argument, many on the other side of the fence claim that in 1990, not everyone was walking around with a camera in their pocket. But this was 1990, not 1890. Camcorders had been rising in popularity since the 1980’s and home videos were common among many families. So with this in mind, it does seem strange that more people weren’t able to get a decent shot at these objects that reportedly buzzed the Belgian skies for over 2 hours.

One thing is for sure. The events in Belgium over the late 1980’s and early 1990’s will continue to be a battleground for the fight between UFO believers and sceptics, for years to come.

New Film Tells the Story of George Van Tassel and His UFO-Inspired “Integratron”

In the 1950s, the Mojave Desert was mecca for believers in extraterrestrial visitors.

After the war Van Tassel purchased the land around Giant Rock and moved there with his wife Dorris and their three daughters. In addition to operating a small airport, he began to hold meditation readings for groups of 25 to 45 people—and for the first time reported hearing disembodied voices.

Then, beginning in 1952, Van Tassel claimed he started having encounters with spacemen. At first, he said, these beings issued warnings of looming destruction along with messages of universal peace. But soon, according to Van Tassel, they began instructing him on how to construct a building that could reverse the aging process. Dubbed the Integratron, the project would consume Van Tassel for years, although he never finished it.

He did, however, hold annual conventions at Giant Rock, where those interested in UFOs, alien contact, and the paranormal gathered to hear talks and exchange experiences. At its height, as many as 11,000 people attended these gatherings, by some accounts.

Calling All Earthlings covers these historic events, and updates the story by taking us to Giant Rock today. Berman introduces us to Van Tassel admirers and former friends who have carried on his legacy by partly reconstructing the Integratron.

Asked what drew him to the topic, the filmmaker says, “I came upon this subject as I was breezing through a great book of photos by Michael Rauner with text by Erik Davis—The Visionary State: A Journey Through California’s Spiritual Landscape. There was a picture of the Integratron in there that caught my eye.”

Van Tassel’s story had “all the things I love,” Berman says, “weird, geeky quasi-science, living longer and better, and, of course, the world of the Great American Roadside Attraction.” As a native of Long Island, the filmmaker was struck by the magical allure that California and the desert has for so many. In the end, he hopes the film captures some of the sense of adventure that brings people to places like Giant Rock, where, he says, “there are still no sidewalks and the mystery dome still sits there waiting to inspire the next person.”

New analysis reveals that Ceres’ spots harbor a lot of organic material

New research shows Ceres’ surface is dotted with organic matter — much more of it that we’ve previously realized. The findings raise questions regarding how this material came to be, and why it concentrates in patches.

There seems to be more to the organic material the Dawn craft discovered on Ceres last year than we initially thought. The patches of carbon-based compounds may contain a much higher abundance of organic matter than initial analysis revealed, according to a new analysis from Brown University.

Organic, free-range Ceres

“What this paper shows is that you can get really different results depending upon the type of organic material you use to compare with and interpret the Ceres data,” said Hannah Kaplan, lead researcher of the study. “That’s important not only for Ceres, but also for missions that will soon explore asteroids that may also contain organic material.”

The discovery of these organic patches on Ceres last year was made using the Visible and Infrared (VIR) Spectrometer on the Dawn spacecraft, which has been in orbit of the dwarf planet since 2015. The finding was met with enthusiasm at NASA and beyond: organic molecules are, after all, the building blocks of life. So, scientists are understandably keen on finding out how such matter is distributed on planets other than our own. The presence of these compounds on Ceres isn’t proof that there was once life on this bit of rock. However, it definitely increases the odds. Factor in that Ceres also boasts a sizeable stash of water ice, another fundamental requirement for life as we know it, and you get quite the exciting place.

The picture may get even better, however. Dawn’s VIR instrument analyzed the patches on Ceres’ surface using the way its surface interacts with incoming light. By looking at what wavelengths these patches reflected and absorbed, ground control could estimate their chemical makeup. In the region of Ernutet Crater (Ceres’ northern hemisphere), Dawn picked up signals consistent with organic molecules. Next, NASA needed to know just how much organic material they had found — so they compared the VIR data to similar readings performed on samples of organic material from Earth. Based on this comparison, they concluded that Ceres’ spots comprised roughly 10% organic matter.

Kaplan and her team, however, weren’t satisfied with the reference standard NASA used — so they re-did the comparison using a different one. Instead of using Earth-borne rocks, they used samples of carbonaceous chondrite meteorites. Previous analysis of such space rocks that fell to Earth revealed that they contained organic material that is slightly different from that native to our planet.

“What we find is that if we model the Ceres data using extraterrestrial organics, which may be a more appropriate analog than those found on Earth, then we need a lot more organic matter on Ceres to explain the strength of the spectral absorption that we see there,” Kaplan said.

“We estimate that as much as 40 to 50 percent of the spectral signal we see on Ceres is explained by organics. That’s a huge difference compared to the six to 10 percent previously reported based on terrestrial organic compounds.”

Unknown origin

The team proposes two possible explanations for how organic material popped up on Ceres in such high concentrations. They could either have been produced on Ceres itself and then blasted to the surface. Alternatively, they could have been delivered by impacts with organic-rich comets or asteroids.

In the case of delivery, comets are more likely culprits than asteroids — the former tend to have higher contents of organic material, around 40 to 50 percent, which would be consistent with Ceres’ patches. However, this explanation seems unlikely, the team notes. The violence and heat of these impacts would likely destroy a substantial amount of the original organic material, meaning we’d see much lower concentrations on the surface.

The other explanation, that of in-situ generation, is also problematic. Organic material has only been identified in small patches on Ceres’ northern hemisphere — and, if the team’s findings are correct, in high concentrations. It’s a lot of organic material spread over a very small area, and we have no idea how it could get like this.

“If the organics are made on Ceres, then you likely still need a mechanism to concentrate it in these specific locations or at least to preserve it in these spots,” said Ralph Milliken, a study co-author.

“It’s not clear what that mechanism might be. Ceres is clearly a fascinating object, and understanding the story and origin of organics in these spots and elsewhere on Ceres will likely require future missions that can analyze or return samples.”

It’s not all unanswered questions. The research will help improve our ability to analyze the chemical make-up of extraterrestrial bodies. The team hopes their findings will “provide a framework of how to better interpret data of asteroids and make links between spacecraft observations and samples in our meteorite collection.”

With NASA announcing that it discovered organic material on Mars just one week ago, it seems that the universe may be a much more organic place than we’d assumed.

Do These Ancient Paintings Feature The Ultimate Ancient Astronaut Evidence?

History has proven to be a great teacher for the human race, we have seen that our ancestors were extremely intelligent, with amazing knowledge on subjects such as astronomy, geometry, mathematics and other important sciences but they were amazing artists as well. From the construction of the great Pyramids of Giza to paintings in the Renaissance Era and further on, incredible stories have been told that have been difficult to explain.

In this article, we focus on some of the most interesting paintings of that period in History as we look at “The Baptism of Christ” by Aert De Gelder, “The Madonna with Saint Giovannino“, “The Annunciation” and other very interesting pieces of art that tell incredible stories.

The interpretation given to each painting can vary from person to person but all of these paintings have something in common, they seem to tell the same story, incredible “flying machines” appear to be incorporated in the “scenery”. But who could have possessed the ability to fly at that time in history?

Were these flying machines misinterpreted? Are they “clouds” or “angels” or is there something more to them? Are these different authors sending a message in their art? If there is one thing that these paintings are not, that is ordinary.

One of the paintings that we find very interesting is the “The Baptism of Christ” by Aert De Gelder.

Looking at this painting the first thing that you notice are these strange rays of light that are coming down from a disk-shaped object in the sky. It is one of the most interesting paintings and according to the Ancient Alien theory, this painting is a piece of strong evidence which illustrates a Disk Shaped flying object.

The author of the image painted a circular object, it cannot be confused as a cloud, it appears to have some sort of light at the center and the rays of light are coming out of this object, you cannot confuse it for thunder or anything else really. We believe that the author painted what he saw at a certain point in his life. If he wanted to paint a cloud or the sun he would have painted them in a much more effective way. We believe that this painting illustrates a disk-shaped UFO, much like the disk-shaped objects that are reported even today.

“The Miracle of the Snow” by Masolino Da Panicale is another incredible image that we cannot pass by without taking a closer look.  This painting was previously known as Dedicatio Sanctæ Mariæ ad Nives (Dedication of the Church of Our Lady of the Snows). This painting is very interesting because it illustrates a large number of disk-shaped objects flying in the sky.

The first thing that you can think of to explain these objects are clouds but are they really clouds? Did this author paint all of the clouds at that time giving them a “disk” or saucer shape? One of the objects in this painting that drew particular interest is the object to the right just above the building. When you look at it, it shows incredible similarity to some of the modern-day depictions of Unidentified flying objects.

This object in our opinion does not look in any way like a cloud.

We have observed several paintings from the Renaissance Era and compared artists techniques when it comes to illustrating clouds and the work done by Masolino Da Panicale is just impressive and we ask why would this artist pick this “Disk” shape? Can we say that in this painting we have several UFO’s or are these just… clouds?…

Disk-shaped clouds?

At the Visoki Dečani monastery located in Kosovo, we find another very interesting piece of art. The Crucifixion of Christ.

This painting is a very detailed piece of art, we see several different objects that are illustrated around Christ, but after looking at the painting, there are two objects which seem to stand out from the rest of the items on the painting. Located to the left and the right of the painting they seem to depict two humans that are inside some sort of spaceship. According to modern day explanations, these “objects” are placed in the painting to depict the sun and the moon as in other paintings. But why place “pilots” or a human inside them?

Was the artist really trying to illustrate our Sun and the Moon?

Or was the artist trying to depict something otherworldly?

By observing the left object in the painting, we see that the “pilot” inside this particular object appears to be manipulating something in front of him, his arms are painted stretched out and reaching for something in front of him. The object to the right shows the figure turning his head to see whats behind him.

Are these two objects depictions of UFO’s and their crew?

Or are they simply the artist’s way to illustrate the sun and the moon?

Another painting that we find extremely interesting is “The Annunciation” painted by Carlo Crivelli.

This artist favored verdant landscape backgrounds, and his works can be identified by his characteristic use of fruits and flowers as decorative motifs. His works were clear and definite in contour, with astounding attention to detail. In his painting “The Annunciation” there are several objects that stand out from the rest of this extremely detailed piece of art.

First of all, we have a circularly shaped cloud. Inside the cloud, we can see several “angels” looking outside of the cloud, but what makes this interesting is the ray of light that shines on a “pigeon” and on Mary’s head.

Now what we find puzzling is that in this painting  Carlo Crivelli painted several other clouds, in fact, the sky is filled with clouds, but he decides to paint this specific “disk-shaped” cloud with “angels” and a beam of light?

Why paint one specific cloud so different in comparison to the other clouds present in the painting and with a beam of light?

From what we have seen in similar paintings, the artists usually paint beams of light descending directly from angels or from the sun, but this is not the case in Carlo Crivelli’s painting in which he paid extreme attention to the details and made sure the public could tell the difference when analyzing this masterpiece.

We can also see a person that Carlo Crivelli decided to incorporate in the middle of the painting which is looking at the sky– at this disk-shaped cloud just below the gate.

The Madonna with Saint Giovannino painted in the 15th century. Another painting that can be added to the list of ancient paintings that depict an unidentified flying object.

Above Mary’s left shoulder we observe a disk-shaped object that appears to be glowing – a UFO?. It is an object which the artist depicted in great detail making sure it would stand out in the painting. To the right of the painting, we see a man that is holding his right arm above his eyes with which the artist made sure to send a message that this object was very bright. To the left of the image in the upper corner, we can see an object that looks like the sun.

This means that the artist painted this disk-shaped object, giving it a shiny detail and he made sure to illustrate it to the right of the sun so we know this bright object cannot be confused for the sun, this disk shaped object does not look like your ordinary cloud, so if it is not the sun nor a cloud what could it possibly be?

Is The Madonna with Saint Giovannino painting an illustration of an otherworldly visitation? The artist considered this object extremely important, otherwise, he would not have placed it nor painted it with such detail as we see here.

Martian mystery plume puzzles scientists

Astronomers are scratching their heads over mysterious plumes that have been sighted in the atmosphere of Mars. First seen by amateur astronomers using Earthbound telescopes, the plumes are at an altitude much higher than that of any clouds yet seen on the Red Planet, and may not even be clouds.

Clouds have been seen on Mars since the 1870s and observations sent back by probes like Curiosity and the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter have greatly increased our understanding of the Martian atmosphere, but that doesn’t mean that our neighbor can’t still surprise us.

The plume was discovered by telescopic observations

The mysterious plumes were first reported by amateur astronomers in 2012 as they rose to altitudes of 250 km (155 mi) over the the same region of Terra Cimmeria (195 degrees west, 45 degrees south) on two occasions. They were seen on the limb or observed edge of the planet at the day/night terminator during the local Martian sunrise, where the lighting conditions made them stand out much like the illuminated clouds at dawn.

According to the European Space Agency (ESA), similar plumes have been seen before, but never at altitudes above 100 km (62 mi), and this extremely high altitude is significant because it marks the boundary between the Martian atmosphere and space with the plumes extending into the ionosphere and exosphere. The plumes covered an estimated area of 1,000 x 500 km (620 x 310 mi) and took under 10 hours to develop. Though the structure of the plumes changed over time, they didn’t last more than 10 days and weren’t seen by Mars-based spacecraft because lighting conditions weren’t right.

The Hubble Space Telescope also saw a curious plume-like feature on Mars on May 17, 1997. It is similar to the features detected by amateur astronomers in 2012, although appeared in a different location.

The nature of the plumes has yet to be determined and the extreme altitude raises some interesting possibilities. Clouds on Mars are usually made of water vapor, dry ice, or dust, but to reach the high altitudes observed, the clouds would have to use an atmospheric circulation system different from any understood on Mars. According to ESA scientists, water and carbon dioxide clouds remains below 100 km and dust below 60 km (37 mi).

However, the possibility also exists that the plumes may not be conventional clouds, but a phenomenon similar to Earth’s northern lights, though a thousand times brighter. This idea is supported by the fact that the region is home to a large magnetic anomaly, which would support the creation of such auroras.

ESA says Hubble Space Telescope data, along with amateur observations, are being used by astronomers to try to find out the exact cause of the plumes. Already an examination of the backlog of Hubble images has uncovered similar plumes from May 17, 1997. One promising angle will be information sent back by the space agency’s ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter (TGO), which is scheduled to launch next year.
