As a follow-up to my earlier article, “UFOs and a ‘highly classified group,'” I thought I would share with you a couple more stories that demonstrate how very careful we have to be when it comes to the matter of analyzing alleged crashed UFO cases. That aforementioned article suggested that the 1952 story in question may have had far less to do with real crashed UFO materials, and far more to do with a secret program to convince the Soviets – in the early years of the Cold War – that the U.S. Government had recovered highly advanced alien technology. When, in reality, it may well have recovered nothing of the sort. Mind-games designed to confuse and concern the Russians may have been the primary goal.
There is another aspect to the matter of tales of crashed UFOs and how such tales often turn out to be something else entirely. I live in Arlington, Texas, which is about a 130 mile-drive to Wichita Falls. And, I get a lot of stories from people who have had UFO encounters in the Lone Star State. There is a reason why I mention that. More than a few years ago, I interviewed a woman who told me how her father, in the early 1980s, had told her of his involvement in the recovery of a crashed UFO somewhere in the Wichita Falls area, in the latter part of 1960. The woman was only in her teens when she was told of the incident, and much of it was hazy by the time it reached my ears. But, the data available to me suggested that we might have been dealing with something quite significant. In a way, it was significant, as you will soon see.
Over the years, I have taken a deep interest in a U.S. military program called Project Moon Dust (also referred to in some official documents as Moondust). A product of the Cold War, Project Moon Dust was created to secretly recover the likes of Soviet missiles that had gone astray, the remains of Russian space-satellites, rocket-boosters, and more. In other words, it was an operation designed to secure foreign technology for the U.S. military.
Some of the Moon Dust documents refer to UFOs, and the need to recover them. This has given rise to a theory, within Ufology, that Moon Dust was comprised of an elite unit of personnel whose role it was to secretly retrieve the remains of spaceships from other worlds, even their extraterrestrial crews. If, however, you take a good look at all of the presently available documents on Moon Dust (as I have), it becomes clear that the term “UFO” was used in literal terms by the team: objects that, for a while at least, remained unidentified. That is, until they were identified as Russian technology, and in some cases even Chinese.
It turns out that one of the many, now-declassified Moon Dustpapers describes the crash of something which came down at Wichita Falls in late 1960 – which sounds very much like the same story told to me. The date of the document is October 11, 1960. The document was sent to the Director, Special Investigations, Headquarters USAF, Washington 25, D.C. It states the following:
“Reference is made to telephonic spot report from this district office of 28 September 1960, referred to AFCSI-6D, concerning a Moon Dust report in the vicinity of Wichita Falls, Texas, on 28 September 1960. On 4 October 1960, the Assistant Provost Marshal at Sheppard AFB, Texas, Major CARTER O. COOPER, advised that an ATIC Team from the 1127th USAF Field Activities Group, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, headed by a Capt ALEXANDER had investigated the incident. According to Major COOPER, the evaluations of the ATIC team could not be released at this local level; however, he said he had been informed unofficially that examination of recovered fragments indicated the incident did not come within the Moon Dust category.”
The document continues: “Maj E. J. GALAINI, 4245th Strategic Wing (SAC), Sheppard AFB, Texas, received a report at 0425 hours on 28 September 1960 from an unknown source to the effect that an unidentified flying object (UFO) had crashed some five (5) or eight (8) miles west of Wichita Falls, Texas. Sheppard AFB Air Police conducted investigation at the scene and also learned that the reported incident had been observed by several civilian police officers of the Wichita Falls Police Department.”
We are further told: “At the scene, miscellaneous charred debris, including shreds of a parachute, reportedly was recovered and maintained in custody of the Sheppard AFB Provost Marshal. Major COOPER, who came to Sheppard AFB from an assignment involving work related to Moon Dust, made a personal evaluation.”
Yes, there was that charred debris. And, yes, there were indeed portions of what was clearly regular, normal parachute material. But, nothing else. Speculation suggested that perhaps a military device had gone astray, maybe even an American device. So, we have something that, in the documentation, was referred to as a “UFO,” but which clearly had down to earth origins. And, years later, in the early 1980s, one of the team told his daughter a tale of the day that dad was involved in the recovery of a UFO. Which was absolutely true in the literal sense. But, that didn’t make the UFO an alien spacecraft.
Back then, the term “UFO” was often used to describe probable Soviet technology that was still being studied. And, when it was identified, it was no longer a UFO. Ufologists would do well to remember this: what “UFO” means to us, doesn’t always mean the same for the U.S. military.

Crop Circle Dorset, UK resembles a scene from the movie ‘the Arrival’ – Drone footage 4K
A new crop picture at Ackling Dyke, Nr Sixpenny Handley, Dorset, UK on June 4, 2018 shows a “seven-pointed star”, with “small round jewels” and Aztec-Mayan symbols for “calendar time” around the outside:
The crop circle resembles a scene from a movie called “The Arrival” (2016). Will “alien heptapods” really come soon to Earth, or is this just a clever joke by the crop artists?
At the moment there are 20 volcanoes erupting around the world, most are concentrated in the Ring of Fire and it seems the situation is getting worse.
Besides that the Merapi and Sinanbung volcanoes erupt in Indonesia, with the on going eruptions in Hawaii, the situation in Hawaii is not getting any better, a USGS time-lapse of the Kilauea summitreveals a 1500 yard section that's 400 yards wide make a significant shift downwards which is a major move.
Meanwhile Guatemala's Fuego volcano erupted violently on Sunday, prompting deadly pyroclastic flows which buried rural areas and today the volcano has erupted again.
The death toll from the eruption of the Fuego volcano in Guatemala has risen to 69. The volcano began erupting Sunday, sending columns of smoke and ash 10 km into the air, killing dozens by engulfing them in floods of searing ash and mud.
At least 1.7mn people have been affected by the volcano’s sudden violent activity, with more than 3,200 people forced to flee their homes.
And today the Fuego volcano has erupted again setting off new evacuations and alarm as rescuers continue to search for survivors
As we all know we are still curious whether we are alone in this universe or not for decades now.
It goes beyond our limit of understanding. The experts and enthusiasts have long debated the existence of UFO. Until now we are still hearing different gossips about UFOs being sighted here and there. For decades the answers to our questions are still unknown.
Gympie is one of the places that UFOs are being sighted. One of the sightings happened in June 2017 wherein an anonymous man claimed that he saw a mysterious flying object high above the town.
The mad said that it was around 11 to 11:30 in the morning when he saw the object. At first glance, it was hard to make out the shape of the object, and its movements were languid and very deliberately.
According to the man, it made a path somewhere around where Widgee would be before going south and back again. When the object tried to turn in place at a certain point, the witness saw its triangular shape and a metallic body with the glowing lights.
The man was not convinced of what he saw. Could this be one of the proof that we are not alone?
Another sighting that occurred in Gympie was on June 2015 when James Loose was annoyed when he captured an unusual purple light with his camera. Then after this picture was posted on Facebook to answer his query, it was later said that the light was a stationary, north-west and twinkling about 35 degrees above the horizon.
For almost three years the source of light that was captured still can’t be determined.
On October 2013, a resident named Wayne Kuskopf claimed that he saw an extraterrestrial after he glimpsed a brightly coloured object in the night sky from his kitchen.
According to Mr Kuskopf, he immediately thought it was a UFO after seeing a circle of red lights with a pale green centre. He said it was hanging above the top of the mountain and remained still for a while before moving westward towards Woolooga and shrinking the whole time.
It was his first time to see things like that, but according to his neighbours, they had seen something similar before.

Check out this interesting photograph of a disc-shaped UFO that was taken over Vila Pouca de Aguiar in Portugal on 25th May 2018.
Witness report:
I was at work after Prenoitar, (spending the night) in this town (Vila little de Aguiar-Portugal). This morning, we get ready to start the service, changing the advertising panels by the road. While on a break, I took three pictures in the position from right to left, my attention was aroused by a cloud-shaped line by the mountain and below the level of it. In the middle from the valley, I shot 3 to 4 photos. On the last already on the left side appears the object, which I only detected later when I transfered it to my computer.
Perhaps it should be close encounters of the blurred kind?
New research suggests that UFO sightings in the U.S., which tend to move in six- or seven-year fluctuating cycles, are in a permanent downtrend — and researchers are puzzled.
Cheryl Costa, recently named Researcher of the Year by the International UFO Congress, has found that yearly UFO sightings in the country are now 7,837 on average, a drop of "a whopping" 41 percent from the three-year peak average years.
Costa, who wrote up her findings in the Syracuse New Times, explained that during the cycles, UFO sightings rise to a peak, decline back toward the baseline, and then rise to initiate a new cycle.
Between 2012 and 2014, the U.S. had a peak average of 13,500 yearly UFO sightings, Costa wrote, citing data from NUFORC (National UFO Reporting Center) and MUFON (Mutual UFO Network).
However, in 2015, sightings fell 11 percent to 11,975 and 2016 saw an even more dramatic drop, falling 21 percent to 10,602.
Costa has not yet found a solid reason for the significant drop in sightings, but speculated that it had to do with broadband Internet access.
"We see relatively flat sighting report numbers from 2001 to 2006," Costa wrote. "This flatness is considered an artifact of reporting, as broadband Internet access was still growing in most areas. Access to broadband is a major driver in people having routine use of web reporting services such as NUFORC and MUFON."
Costa noted that New York state rose to the fourth-most likely place to see a UFO during 2016 and 2017, but dropped significantly from its peak average, at 325 sightings seen in 2017, down from an average of 577 seen between the period of 2012 and 2014.
She wrote that both the national and New York state charts show the classic rise-and-fall pattern from 2006 to 2010 and in 2011, the rise starts again.
The spike that was seen in 2012 could be attributed to the "Mayan calendar media ballyhoo," causing more people to look up, Costa said. With that into consideration, the classic UFO sighting cycle is seen "clearly" from 2011 and 2017.

YouTube channel 'Logical Indian' had suggested that Hindu Gods might be aliens from outer space and now a TV host suggested the same as the theory gains momentum

Giorgio Tsoukalos, the television host known for presenting 'Ancient Aliens' in History Channel has now claimed that humans in the ancient past might have misunderstood alien visitors as Gods.
The TV host made these remarks while presenting his theory about the origin of religions on the planet at the annual 'Contact in the Desert' UFO conference in Indiana Wells, California.
During the speech, the television conspiracy theorist alleged early people misrepresented alien visitors as deities and their advanced technology was interpreted as magic. Earlier, several conspiracy theorists have suggested that ancient gods, especially in the Hindu and Greek mythology were aliens from deep space.
"The reason that we're in the crap that we're in today is because of misunderstood technology. The reason we have religion today is because of misunderstood visits of extra-terrestrials," said Tsoukalos, said reports.
The 'Ancient Aliens' presenter revealed that evidence of misinterpreted technology can be seen in Egyptian pyramids and in ancient arts and literature.
The conspiracy theorist also criticized archeologists all over the world for turning their blind eye towards evidence of alien visitors in ancient relics. It should be noted that several ancient cave paintings were discovered from various parts of the world and these paintings show alien-like figures and UFO in it.
According to this TV host, extraterrestrial space travellers used to wear space suits during travelling the way our astronauts do today during their space travels.
Flat-earth believers
However, Tsoukalos has lashed out against flat-earth believers and assured that the earth is round. He made it clear that humans will one day explore the farthest corner of the Universe, and will be in touch with other alien races.
However, skeptics have several times criticized Tsoukalos claiming that the TV host is presenting pseudo-history in front of the viewers.
Previously, YouTube channel 'Logical Indian' had suggested that Hindu Gods might be aliens from outer space.
"Aliens who reached earth million years back were actually superhuman, super powerful and super intelligent species. According to Ramayana and Mahabharata, the exotic capabilities of Hindu Gods are the ability to disappear and appear, super intelligence, knowledge of vimanas and the ability to read the human mind," says Logical Indian.
Those who believe in this theory insist that aliens are actually gods as they possess these impeccable abilities.

Conspiracy theory channel 'UFO Mania' has uploaded an eerie video claiming that non-human entities like ghost helicopters are in control of our skies. Using inputs from a website named 'UFO Spain', the narrator of the video argues that these dark flying objects are completely black in color, and it lacks any kind of number plates or identification marks.
According to conspiracy theorists, these black helicopters are often connected with several cases of alien abduction, cattle mutilation events, and UFO encounters. Initially, many alien enthusiasts argued that these black helicopters could actually be secret military vessels developed by the government. But now, the conspiracy theory channel has suggested that the real truth about these flying objects might be more shocking and terrifying.
In the video, the narrator connected the strange case of cattle mutilations which happened in the 1970s with these mysterious flying objects. Floyd K. Haskell, who was the senator for the state of Colorado at that time even contacted the FBI and asked to investigate the strange case of mutilations.
It should be noted that the cattle mutilations were carried out with a terrifying precision and surgical excellence. In all the cases of mutilations, the left ear, rectum and the sexual organ of the animals were cut, and interestingly, not even a single blood tinge was found on the ground.
In these cases of cattle mutilations, dark helicopters were seen flying across the areas in complete silence. Conspiracy theorists argue that no helicopters can fly in such silence, and they claim that these flying objects might be made using alien technology. The video also reveals that some of those black helicopters have shape-shifting abilities.
However, skeptics argue that humans have already mastered advanced technologies, and most of these innovations are being covered up from the common man's eye.
"The average American has no idea what technology the government has. They are far ahead of what they allow to be released to the sleeping masses. They don't need technology from the so-called Aliens. Just like the average American has no idea what is going on in other countries. Just because the sheeple don't know about it doesn't mean it came from nonhuman beings. Just like this post, it's all part of The Great Deception leading the sheeple into something they can not get out of," commented Arliss Young, a YouTube user.
These skeptics also made it clear that the US government has been using these silent crafts for covert operations.

Aliens created GOD when they left Earth - TV history presenter claims
Aliens created GOD when they left Earth - TV history presenter claims
ANCIENT alien civilisations were once mistakenly venerated by humans, creating the base for modern-day religion, it has been spectacularly claimed by History Channel presenter Giorgio Tsoukalos.
Mr Tsoukalos presented his incredible theory about the origins of religion at the annual Contact in the Desert UFO conference in Indiana Wells, California, this weekend.
The TV conspiracy theorist known for hosting Ancient Aliens on the History Channel gave an impassioned two-hour talk about ancient encounters between humans and extraterrestrial astronauts.
The UFO-hunter alleged early people misrepresented alien visitors as deities and their technology was interpreted as magic.
He said: “The reason that we’re in the crap that we’re in today is because of misunderstood technology.
“The reason we have religion today is because of misunderstood visits of extra-terrestrials.”
According to Mr Tsoukalos, examples of the misrepresented technology are evident in the Egyptian and Central American Pyramids as well as ancient literature and art.
The TV host blamed archaeologists for dismissing evidence of alien visitors in ancient relics as artwork of gods, magic and other fantastical beings.
Among other things, the Ancient Aliens host claimed the Earth is round and not flat, humans will one day explore the far corners of space and aliens do in fact need space suits when travelling through space.

Mr Tsoukalos is a vocal proponent of the idea alien astronauts interacted with ancient humans in the past.
His offbeat theories came to prominence and online fame thanks to his appearances on the History Channel series Ancient Aliens.
The TV host has since appeared on the Travel Channel, the Sci-Fi Channel and National Geographic.
However, his work on Ancient Aliens has been described by audiences to be farfetched and extremely speculative.

Mr Tsoukalos gave a speech at the Desert Expo UFO conference in California
Historian Ronald Fritze criticised the “pseudohistory” presented by the show’s experts.
He said: “The producers provided the window dressing of giving both the true believers and the skeptics some screen time.
“In the end, however, the final presentation was heavily stacked in favour of those who believe in ancient astronauts.”
The Contact in the Desert Expo is an annual UFO and alien conference held in the US.

The World’s First Floating Nation To Launch In Pacific Ocean In 2022, With Own Government And Cryptocurrency
The World’s First Floating Nation To Launch In Pacific Ocean In 2022, With Own Government And Cryptocurrency
The Floating City will become the first floating nation on Earth–a Libertarian utopia free of regulation and taxes. It will feature offshore housing, use its own cryptocurrency, and operate ‘outside of government regulations’.
The plan to create the first floating city started off a decade ago when Peter Thiel, an American entrepreneur, venture capitalist, philanthropist, political activist, and author co-founded a nonprofit called Seasteading Institute.
In a 2009 essay, Mr. Thiel wrote, “Between cyberspace and outer space lies the possibility of settling the oceans.”
Since then, the project has taken a long leap, and as things stand now, the institute is set to embark on a pilot project with the Government of French Polynesia.
The world’s first independent floating nation will soon launch in the Pacific Ocean and will operate outside of government regulations, using its own cryptocurrency called ‘Vyron’.
The floating city, a sea-bound city-state featuring around 300 intricately designed homes, a number of hotels, restaurants, offices and other buildings is being built in the Pacific Ocean near the island of Tahiti.
The floating city-state was a project never attempted before.
Its founders imagined the floating city as a Libertarianutopiafreeofregulationandtaxes.
But the plan developed beyond that.
Speaking to Business Insider, Joe Quirk, president of the Institute said how he and his team now see the floating city a way mankind can coup with rising sea levels, which are sadly expected to increase by more than six feet by the end of the century.
Nathalie Mezza-Garcia, a political scientist and researchers from the Floating Island Project say how the islands residents will be free of ‘fluctuating geopolitical influences and trade issues’ and claimed the independent sea nation could one-day house refugees displaced by climate change.
“There is significance to this project being trialed in the Polynesian Islands. This is the region where land is resting on coral and will disappear with rising sea levels. Once we can see how this first island works, we will have a proof of concept to plan for islands to house climate refugees,” said Mr. Mezza Garcia in an interview with CNBC.
The independent floating city is expected to cost around $50 million, and will float in international waters, while operating within its own laws, and will ‘liberate humanity from politicians’, according to the SeasteadingInstitute.
The floating city is a massive project in today’s radicalized society.
The floating island’s non-residential buildings are designed to operate as business centers, which will offer a number of companies to work ‘outside government regulations’.
“This means there is stability, outside of fluctuating geopolitical influences, trade issues, and currency fluctuations – it’s the perfect incubator,” Ms. Mezza Garcia explained.
“If you don’t want to live under a particular government, ‘people will be able to just take their house and float away to another island,” added Ms. Mezza Garcia.
The Journey to make the floating city-state happen was a long one. The Seasteading Institute, co-founded by Mr. Thiel has worked for the last five years designing and testing ‘permanent, innovative communities floating at sea’.
Their journey has seen them team up with Blue frontiers– a startup that specializes in building floating islands.
The design of the floating city took inspiration from the Polynesian culture, in particular from their traditional navigation, based on observation and vast knowledge of natural elements.
The designers of the floating city-state reflected mountains and hills, the shape of ocean reefs and numerous different underwater landmarks, as well as the rising and setting of the moon, the sun and stars in the design.
Interestingly, the small platforms featuring the villas are set to be aligned with the path of the stars of Sirius according to the plans.
As explained by the Daily Mail, “Larger platforms with mixed-use buildings aligned to the celestial pillar Pou, starting from the main platform, the ‘star headlight’ or Ta’urua, and ending by the guide star Avei’a, passing through the zenith of the floating island.”
“During several visits to French Polynesia and after getting acquainted with the environment and the local contexts, one thing was sure, the project has to blend into its environment. To achieve this, local environmental characteristics, climate, ecology and cultural context have all been studied and play a major role in the process.”
“The project, however, doesn’t only want to not hurt the existing environment, the vision of the Blue Frontiers [is to] facilitate the development of more conscious and balanced settlements at sea where humans can peacefully coexist with the environment and with each other,” explains a written statement by the Seasteading Institute.

The Solar System Has At Least Eight Giant, Secret Oceans Where Extraterrestrial Life May Exist
An illustration of salty ocean water spraying from the icy crust of Jupiter's moon Europa.

By Dave Mosher, Skye Gould and Jenny Cheng
Scientists recently found even more evidencethat Jupiter’s icy moon Europa is hiding an enormous ocean of saltwater.
To say Europa’s ocean is vast would be an understatement. If all of Earth’s water — oceans, lakes, rivers, rain, clouds, and more — were combined into one blob, it’d be just half as large as Europa’s liquid reservoir. (And Europa is about the size of Earth’s moon.)
Scientists think Europa’s ocean might even be habitable to alien life.
“If there’s life at Europa, it’d almost certainly be an independently evolved form of life,” Bob Pappalardo, a planetary scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, previously told Business Insider. “Would it use DNA or RNA? Would it use the same chemistry to store and use energy? Discovering extraterrestrial life would revolutionize our understanding of biology.”
But Europa is just one of many ocean worlds in the solar system, including Enceladus, Pluto, Titan, and Ganymede.
To figure out how much liquid water and ice these worlds have compared to Earth, Business Insider contacted Steve Vance, a planetary scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Vance closely monitors research about ocean worlds to create estimates of ice thickness, ocean depth, and other parameters.
The graphics below use Vance’s data and other sources to show the probable volume of liquid water on eight known ocean worlds besides Earth.
Volumes are shown in zettaliters (ZL), a unit that’s equal to 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 liters or 1 billion cubic kilometers. Earth harbors about 1.335 ZL of water, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Enceladus vs. Earth
Jenny Cheng and Skye Gould/Business Insider
Enceladus is a relatively small moon of Saturn, at just 314 miles in diameter — about as wide as the state of Arizona. But its ocean sprays water into space. NASA’s Cassini spacecraft confirmed the ocean’s existence after its arrival in 2004, later detecting and flying through the water plumes to “taste” them.
Note:Because Earth has a very small amount of ice relative to other ocean worlds, this graphic and the following ones only depict our planet’s liquid water.
Jenny Cheng and Skye Gould/Business Insider
Triton is a moon of Neptune that’s some 2.8 billion miles from Earth. Voyager 2 is the only spacecraft ever to fly by, measure, and photograph Triton. Those sequential photos showed that Triton has “cryovolcanoes” that spew out water and ammonia.
Dione vs. Earth
Jenny Cheng and Skye Gould/Business Insider
Dione is a small, icy moon of Saturn. Scientists determined in 2016 that — like Enceladus — Dione likely has a subsurface ocean.
Pluto vs. Earth
Jenny Cheng and Skye Gould/Business Insider
Pluto is the famous planet of yesteryear that astronomers agreed to demote to a dwarf planet. NASA's New Horizons spacecraft recently helped determine that Pluto has a liquid ocean packed with ammonia — a substance that's toxic to humans, but could feed alien microbes.
Europa vs. Earth
Jenny Cheng and Skye Gould/Business Insider
Europa is the smallest of four Galilean moons of Jupiter (so named because they're the largest and were first discovered by Galileo Galilei in 1610). Europa is about the size of Earth's moon and likely has a huge, salty ocean. Volcanoes on Io, the second-largest Galilean moon, likely burp out sulfur-rich nutrients that then enter Europa's ocean.
Recent studies also suggest that Europa is shooting out jets of this ocean water into space — where a future spacecraft could sample them for signs of life.
Callisto vs. Earth
Jenny Cheng and Skye Gould/Business Insider
Callisto, the second-largest Galilean moon, is covered in ice, and almost certainly has a vast ocean. However, its crust is about 125 miles thick — which makes it very difficult for scientists to discover what's going on down there.
Titan vs. Earth
Jenny Cheng and Skye Gould/Business Insider
Titan is the largest moon of Saturn and the second-largest moon in the solar system. Scientists often refer to it as a "proto-Earth" due to its composition and size. A similarly colossal ocean of liquid water may exist below its roughly 60-mile-thick crust of ice.
Ganymede vs. Earth
Jenny Cheng and Skye Gould/Business Insider
Ganymede is the largest of Jupiter's Galilean moons, and the biggest moon in the solar system. Its stores of water may outnumber Earth's by a ratio of 18 to one.
How all the ocean worlds stack up
Earth is much bigger than other ocean worlds in the solar system, but Europa, Pluto, and others have bigger oceans of liquid water.Jenny Cheng/Business Insider
Mimas, a moon of Saturn, and Ceres, the largest asteroid in the solar system, might also have subsurface oceans. But scientists aren't yet sure how big each one might be, if they exist at all.
Does intelligent life exist somewhere else in Universe apart from Earth? Should we believe people claiming to have seen strange Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs)? Are their aliens looking at us without our knowledge? U’th Time (UT) asks India’s youth their opinions on one of the most controversial (and interesting) topics mankind has ever dealt with. Continue reading to hear shocking answers & revelations…
UFOs, Aliens and Extraterrestrials are considered one of the most controversial topics to ever face mankind and they continue to be so. No Governments on planet Earth have ever formally discussed the presence (or absence) of Aliens primarily due to lack of any physical contact with Extraterrestrial life. However, there are many who believe in the existence of intelligent life on other planets and are optimistic that soon there will be full disclosure.
WHY Aliens CAN exist?
In our Milky Way galaxy, there are estimated to be at least 200,000,000,000 Stars (like Sun) and we go by mathematically (and use the famous Drake’s Equation) there are at least 65 Civilizations like us or even more advanced just in our own Galaxy. In our known Universe, there exist at least 100,000,000,000 Galaxies like ours. Even if we take the lowest probability of one in a million, there still could exist at least 100s of planets like earth and many more civilizations in our known Universe. Seth Shostak, a senior astronomer for SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), is so confident that he set a date for our likely encounter with intelligent alien life forms.
At this juncture, it must also be pointed out that the Universe is expanding as you read this article at unimaginable rates and, hence, giving existence to new galaxies, stars & planets. Is that good enough proof that aliens do exist? Seth Shostak stated, “It is quite likely that there is life elsewhere in our galaxy, and there’s a real possibility that we will find evidence of intelligent extraterrestrial life by the year 2025.” At this juncture, it must also be pointed out that the Universe is expanding as you read this article at unimaginable rates and, hence, giving existence to new galaxies, stars & planets. Is that good enough proof that aliens do exist? Stephen Hawking, British theoretical physicist and cosmologist, provides the best answer “To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational, the real challenge is to work out what aliens might actually be like.” Well, it seems, at least Mathematically, YES intelligent aliens CAN Exist.
Can Alien life be intelligent?
There’s always a flip side to something as controversial as the existence of Extraterrestrials. The first question that comes to mind is that if intelligent life does exist why haven’t they contacted humans yet? Some of the scientists believe that although life might exist on other planets – it might NOT be intelligent like us HUMANS. So what we see in movies like AVATAR might not be possible just yet! Another interesting point that points towards the non-existence of intelligent alien life is the lack of Robotic (Unmanned) missions to earth, similar to our own space exploration activities and missions on planets such as Mars, Jupiter etc. However, many astronomers have pointed that due to vast distances between Galaxies & Stars, it might be unrealistic to expect that in the vastness of universe other intelligent alien life would only try to find planet ‘Earth’.
Contact with Aliens?
According to Akshit Aggrawal (and a lot of his friends) “aliens do exist and we’ll definitely be contacted by them very soon. There’s no way we are alone in this massive universe – it’s only a matter of time. There have been different documentaries detailing the existence of aliens and some say we’ve already been contacted by them”. In 2008, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, an Apollo 14 astronaut (and the sixth man to walk on the moon), claimed that “Aliens have contacted humans several times but this things have always been kept a secret from the general public”. Moreover, an organization known as ‘The Disclosure Project’ has had over 500 (American) government, military, and intelligence community witnesses testifying to their direct, personal, firsthand experience with UFOs, ETs, ET technology etc. On the contrary, many astronomers believe this to be just propaganda and no real evidence has ever existed to prove that aliens have visited our planet and contacted humans.µ
What does the future hold? Would it ever be possible to witness a small grey person with large eyes standing outside your house to pay a visit from a distant planet? Well, the answer lies from somewhere between a straight ‘NO’ to a ‘MAY BE’. SETI, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence, continues to conduct scientific research (and search) through “a set of disciplines ranging from observing and modeling the precursors of life in the depths of outer space to studies of Earth”. The answer to the question ‘Are we alone in the Universe’ is definitely NOT as straightforward as some might believe but yet there are arguments justifying both the absence and presence of intelligent life on other planets. Well all we can do (for now at least) is simply WAIT!
NASA’s Curiosity Rover has been prodding and poking around on Mars for well over 2,000 days now, and so far it’s revealed some truly dope stuff about our planetary neighbor. On Thursday, NASA officials will announce even more new findings from the red planet and will answer questions from the public and the media.
Curiosity, which left Earth back in November 2011 and landed on Mars in August 2012, carries instruments that enable it to analyze Martian geology, search for signs of water, and generally investigate whether the planet could have ever hosted any forms of life. And those abilities have paid off in spades. It’s sent back pictures of crystals suggesting water, analyzed rocks to find that Mars once had free oxygen in its atmosphere, and even fixed its own dang drill. NASA announced May 23 that the rover’s new drilling technique is working as hoped, so some have speculated that Thursday’s announcement could have something to do with that.
What has Curiosity found this time? Tune in on Thursday to find out.
Unfortunately, you’ll need to wait until Thursday to get the full announcement. The scientific papers that contain the new information, which will be published Thursday in the journalScience, are under embargo until then. This means that the information is there and it’s all been peer-reviewed by other scientists, it’s just not available to the public yet. There are some small clues we can look to, though, including the scientists who will be on the panel:
Paul Mahaffy, director of the Solar System Exploration Division at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center
Jen Eigenbrode, research scientist at Goddard
Chris Webster, senior research fellow, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, California
Ashwin Vasavada, Mars Science Laboratory project scientist, JPL
But if you want to know exactly what Curiosity has shown Earth-based scientists about Mars, you’ll need to tune in at 2:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday to find out. Or check back to read the full story on Inverse dot com!
In the Netherlands, 3D printing is entering a new stage: by the end of the year, construction will start on a new type of house — a 3D-printed house.

The Dutch city of Eindhoven is promoting the innovation and has already received applications from 20 interested families just a week after images were made available. The construction, known as Project Milestone, will be realized in the Eindhoven city expansion area Meerhoven, and will feature five houses, the first of which might be laid down by the end of the year.
The Dutch construction company Van Wijnen worked with researchers from the University of Eindhoven to lay the foundation of the project. The 3D printer in this case is essentially a huge robotic arm with a nozzle that squirts out a specially formulated cement, said to have the texture of whipped cream. The cement is “printed” according to an architect’s design, adding layer upon layer to create a wall, as in all 3D prints. This will ensure that the structure has the necessary strength while not using more materials than necessary.
“We have no need for the moulds used to create houses made with cement today, and so we will never use more cement than is necessary,” said Rudy van Gurp, a manager at Van Wijnen, to The Guardian.

The design aims at having a smart, efficient, and sustainable construction process. The innovative construction method has several advantages. For starters, it reduces the need for skilled construction workers, which have become a somewhat scarce commodity in the Netherlands. The design techniques are also very flexible — you don’t need to limit construction to the standard shapes, you can opt for any design imaginable. As mentioned above, the process also reduces the total required material, which reduces overall emissions. The 3D-printed cement also enables architects to design very fine concrete structures, blending all kinds, qualities and colors of concrete, all in a single product.
Van Gurp says it will soon be cheaper than conventional building:
“I think by then about 5% of homes will be made using a 3D printer. In the Netherlands, we have a shortage of bricklayers and people who work outside and so it offers a solution to that,” van Gurp says. “It will eventually be cheaper than the traditional methods. Bricklaying is becoming more and more expensive. Alongside, bricks and the use of timber, this will be a third way, which will look like stucco [plastered] houses, which people like.”

The houses will be built consecutively so that all the lessons from a previous house can be applied to the next one. By the time the last house (which comprises three floors and three bedrooms) is completed, the printer will have also developed the drainage pipes and other necessary installations — at least that’s the plan.
While it’s debatable whether it’s the cruelest or most painful form of execution, there’s no doubt that crucifixion is by far the most famous way to die at the hands of the state. While the biblical account goes into great detail with its description, as do other historical accounts of the brutal practices of the Romans, there is no proven physical evidence of that or any other crucifixion using nails to affix the condemned person’s hands or feet to a wooden cross, save for one. Until now.
Crucifixion, etc. (John Beaver, Roman Military Punishments, 1725)
“We found a particular lesion on the foot of a skeleton from an isolated Roman burial discovered by excavation in 2007 in northern Italy. Here we suggest crucifixion as a possible cause of the lesion, but this interpretation is complicated by the poor preservation of the bone surfaces and the damage and holes in other skeletal parts.”
In a new study published in the journal Archaeological and Anthropological Sciences, researchers from the universities of Ferrara and Florence in Italy discuss their analysis of the remains of a male found in Gavello, a small town in the Province of Rovigo about 60 km (37 miles) southwest of Venice. According to the Times of Israel, the corpse had been placed in the grave on his back “with the upper limbs at his side and the lower limbs outstretched” – a possible sign, along with the lack of any funeral artifacts, that this was an unusual death. The bones indicated the man died between the ages of 30 and 34, but they were too deteriorated for radiocarbon dating. However, nearby brick and tile pieces placed his death at about 2,000 years ago.
Then there’s the foot. Lesions on the right heel prompted researchers to study it with 3D imaging using a hi-tech digital microscope.
“The presence of an ellipsoidal depressed fracture on the medial side, but not on the lateral, suggests that the injury was inflicted peri-mortem and the blow was inflicted from medial to lateral, causing a breakthrough in the impact area (entry point).”
While not conclusive, that sounds like this foot, and probably the other one, were nailed to a cross with a circular nail. This type of nail was not as common as the traditional Roman square nail, which was found, with a piece of olive wood attached, in the heel bone of one of two males found during a 1968 excavation of tombs in a large Second Temple Jewish cemetery in Jerusalem. Once confirmed, that find was hailed as the first solid evidence of crucifixion. (Pictures of the nail-in-bone and the Gavello skeleton here.)
While the Romans pretty much own crucifixion as a form of execution, using it for nearly a thousand years until Constantine the Great abolished it in 337, they didn’t invent it. Crucifixion or impalement was used previously by the Carthaginians, Persians and Macedonians – Alexander the Great of Macedon was said to have crucified 2,000 Phoenicians after defeating their army. Once they learned about it, probably from the Carthaginians, the Romans perfected crucifixion by adding torture and humiliation and lengthening of the process.
With all of these crucifixions allegedly going on for centuries, why are there only two pieces of physical evidence? Most likely it’s because these gruesome executions ended with the desecration of the corpse by leaving it to decompose on the cross or be eaten by scavenger animals. The two skeletons with heels showing signs of crucifixion were buried for some reason, thus preserving them. The skeleton found in Gavello was isolated from the rest in the cemetery, indicating to study co-author Thun Hohenstein that the reason for his crucifixion was known.
“This kind of execution was generally reserved for slaves. The same topographical marginalization of the burial induces us to think that it was an individual considered dangerous and neglected by the society in which he lived that he was rejected by it even after death.”
As some of you will know, I don’t have much of a belief in the theory that UFOs have crashed to Earth (although, I certainly did until around the early 2000s). Indeed, I have written two books on Roswell which, collectively, provide a non-extraterrestrial theory for what came down outside of Roswell, New Mexico in the summer of 1947. There is also a body of data that suggests some tales of crashed UFOs were created by U.S. Intelligence in the 1950s. The reason: to try and convince the Russians that the government had got its hands on alien materials, wreckage and technology. That does not, however, take away the fact that there are still some interesting tales to address. One of them is a fairly obscure event that occurred in 1952, and which is the subject of today’s article.
Within the UFO files of the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations that are held at the National Archives, there is a USAF document which is dated July 23, 1952. It briefly describes an event that occurred in Maryland, only twenty-four hours earlier. The document reads like this:
“On 22 July 1952, Colonel Smith, Executive Officer, Directorate of Intelligence, USAF, advised that his office had just received a call from the above captioned individual, and that he was concerned over some object that had apparently fallen in a wooded area behind his home. According to Colonel Smith, Mr. [Deleted] resides on Layhill Road, Silver Springs, Maryland, and is employed by some Buick Company in the Silver Springs area. Colonel Smith further stated that Mr. [Deleted] reported this incident to the local police on 19 July 1952, the date the incident occurred, but having received no satisfaction decided to call the Air Force on 22 July 1952. I telephonically communicated the above information to Colonel White, District Commander, DO #4.”
While the matter was not resolved, there is one issue that is worth noting when it comes to this particular account. That issue is the time-frame. July 1952 was also when a UFO “invasion” occurred in Washington, D.C. It was an affair that disturbed elements of the military and caught the deep attention of the CIA. UFOs were not just seen: they were also tracked on radar. It was a major development in the UFO phenomenon.
Keeping in mind the D.C. wave of July 1952, and the “object that had apparently fallen in a wooded area” in Maryland in the same time-frame, it’s worth noting the words of a Canadian engineer named Wilbert Smith. According to Smith – who shared the story with U.S. Navy Rear Admiral H.B. Knowles – he knew of the recovery of a piece of a flying saucer that had “…been shot from a small flying saucer near Washington in July [1952].” Not only that, Smith claimed possession of that same “piece.”
Smith said, in an interview with UFO researcher C.W. Fitch in November 1961: “I showed it to the Admiral. It was a piece of metal about twice the size of your thumb which had been loaned to me for a very short time by [the United States] Air Force. As a general thing they differ only in that they are much harder than our materials. In reality a matrix of magnesium orthosilicate. The matrix had great numbers – thousands – of 15-micron spheres scattered through it.”
According to Smith, he handed the material over to an agency that he would only describe as being “much higher” than the Air Force. When asked if the agency might have been the CIA, Smith refused to say anything more, except that the debris was in “…the hands of a highly classified group.”
It’s important to note that much of what has been said about Smith has been distorted (see Paul Kimball’s on-target article “Oh Canada – Wilbert Smith & UFOs”), and particularly so certain issues relative to controversial tales of dead aliens and crashed UFOs. Kimball suggests that what Smith learned about crashed UFOs may actually have been disinformation, “aimed at the Soviets,” and possibly “designed to convince Stalin that the United States had access to advanced alien technology.”
Whatever the truth, it might be worth someone’s time to look further into the matter of the incident at Silver Springs, Maryland in July 1952, the UFO wave of the summer of 1952 in D.C., and the words of Smith. Maybe, somewhere, there’s a connection. Maybe.
Enrico Fermi’s famous paradoxical question in response to the high probability that extraterrestrial civilizations exist and should be visiting us has spawned a controversial answer and another question … and this time, the answer could get ugly.
“What if the first life that reaches interstellar travel capability necessarily eradicates all competition to fuel its own expansion?”
Alexander Berezin, a theoretical physicist at the National Research University of Electronic Technology in Russia, proposed in a new paper, published in arXiv, that the ability to leave one’s home planet and travel to other worlds may require the attitude that nothing will stand in their way and anything that does will be annihilated. Berezin calls this his “First in, last out” hypothesis, meaning that the first civilization to achieve the capacity to travel to other worlds will be the last civilization standing. (“Last Civilization Standing” – soon to be a major motion picture?)
“I am not suggesting that a highly developed civilization would consciously wipe out other lifeforms, Most likely, they simply won’t notice, the same way a construction crew demolishes an anthill to build real estate because they lack incentive to protect it.”
That pretty picture requires a few assumptions. Berezin proposes that the driving force of all life forms is the desire for growth. That’s not one of the Seven Pillars of Life (Program, Improvisation, Compartmentalization, Energy, Regeneration, Adaptability, and Seclusion – PICERAS) described by American biochemist Daniel E. Koshland in 2002 as a universal definition of life. It’s not hard to justify global conquest conquest and colonialism under this restricted definition, but Berezin says it’s also the reason for free market capitalism and the threat of artificial intelligence.
“One rogue AI can potentially populate the entire supercluster with copies of itself, turning every solar system into a supercomputer, and there is no use asking why it would do that. All that matters is that it can.”
Fortunately, Berezin says we’re safe from annihilation. Unfortunately, that’s the ugly side of his hypothesis. To borrow the wisdom of Walt Kelly’s famous Pogo cartoon:
“We have met the enemy and he is us.”
Berezin’s other assumption is that humans are the first civilization in the universe to achieve space travel (if none has arrived yet, it must be us – a nod to Fermi’s question) … which means we’re the intergalactic construction crew destined to crush the anthills of life across the universe.
If Berezin is right, can we change our destructive destiny?
“Stopping humans from accidentally obliterating all rival life-forms would require a total culture shift spurred by forces far stronger than the free will of individuals.”
If Berezin is right, SHOULD we change our destructive destiny? Do we want to be the anthill?
“Perhaps there are aliens out there but if humans find them how likely is it that they will welcome a superior advanced race with open arms?”
Throughout UFO lore, there are recurring reports of anomalous aerial phenomena or even alien beings contacting Earthlings telepathically. In some cases, individuals have claimed that extraterrestrial lifeforms have contacted them with messages of “cosmic importance,” only to be met with little but skepticism or derision outside of or even from within ufology circles. Still, well-known researchers such as J. Allen Hynek have spent significant portions of their careers interviewing these alleged telepathic contactees in hopes of potentially discovering evidence of contact with an extraterrestrial consciousness.
That contact may be taking place in Japan, if the claims of one Japanese researcher are confirmed. According to “occult researcher” Toshitaro Yamaguchi, 13-year-old “UFO boy” Haruya Ido from Tokushima Prefecture in southern Japan is a classic example of a UFO contactee who can communicate telepathically with whoever or whatever is in control of several anomalous objects reportedly photographed by Ido. Is Japan’s “UFO boy” the real deal?
English-language reports on Ido are scarce, but Yahoo! Japanand Korea-based internet portal Naver have both covered the story. According to reports, Ido can attract unidentified flying objects – or perhaps they attract him. Yamaguchi posted what are reported to be Ido’s pictures to Japanese social media, showing several different types of UFOs seen over Tokushima Prefecture. “It is reflected on the street lamps at the side of the road, I wonder if it is an Adamski type UFO,” Ido wrote about a UFO reportedly spotted on March 29, 2017.
Ido isn’t the first young person to be alleged to be a frequent contactee. Beginning with George Adamski in the 1950s, dozens of other alleged cases have been reported around the world, sometimes veering into shamanism. Unfortunately for these contactees, there seems to still be a stigma surrounding these cases which leads to them being ignored by “serious” researchers. Is there anything to the cases of Japan’s “UFO boy” and other telepathic contactees?
