Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.

France : Un OVNI sphérique et très lumineux observé dans le Lubéron

Le 13 octobre 2017, un gros OVNI sphérique et très lumineux a été observé au-dessus du village de Lacoste, dans le Vaucluse, au sud de la France. Ce n’est que récemment que le témoin a décidé de raconter son aventure.

« J’étais dans mon jardin sur ma terrasse au Sud pour fumer une cigarette vers 20H, le vendredi 13 Octobre 2017. Il faisait nuit et le ciel était très bien dégagé. J’ai vu arrivé de derrière les arbres, à une bonne centaine de mètres de ma maison, très silencieusement, une boule très lumineuse (blanc doré jaune orangé) un peu plus petite qu’une pièce de 1 centime, vu du sol. Mais certainement très grosse, vu l’altitude.
Elle était plus haute qu’un avion de ligne et d’ailleurs absolument pas dans le couloir aérien habituel Nord/Sud (mais dans la direction perpendiculaire Ouest/Est) mais bien plus basse qu’un satellite pourrait l’être.
Aucun bruit de réacteur ou autre bruit de moteur.
Elle venait de la direction de Ménerbes (84) à l’Ouest, au dessus du petit Lubéron et s’est dirigée en direction de Bonnieux ou Lourmarin (Sud Est) en passant au dessus de Lacoste.
Sa vitesse n’était pas très rapide vu du sol, mais plus rapide qu’un avion (car beaucoup plus haut) et beaucoup moins qu’une météorite.
Difficile d’estimer sa vitesse à cause de la hauteur, mais sur une route plate, on pourrait la comparer à une voiture roulant à 5 kms/h.
Cette sphère a mis environ 1mn pour effectuer sa trajectoire.
J’ai appelé ma compagne après une dizaine de secondes d’observation qui est sortie presque aussitôt. Elle a observé en même temps que moi cette boule lumineuse, semblant planer régulièrement, sans accoue et sans changement de direction. Aucune trainée derrière elle comme pourrait le faire une étoile filante ou une météorite rentrant dans l’atmosphère.
Elle a disparu de notre champ de vision derrière le Lubéron, au niveau de la combe, entre le petit et le grand Lubéron.
J’ai cherché sur internet dans les jours suivants si d’autres avaient vu cette sphère,si il y avait des témoignages ou si il y avait eu une météorite ce soir là. Mais rien sur ce soir du 13 Octobre 2017… »
A secret study of Unidentified Flying Objects was made public last year. Much of the analysis was done in southern Nevada, and a main purpose of the study was to figure out how UFOs work.
The I-Team interviewed the man who ran the program at the Pentagon to ask about the physics of flying saucers.
"Look at that thing," one Navy pilot said.
You can tell from the voices of the navy pilots that the encounter with the so-called Gimbal UFO was hardly ordinary. It happened back in 2015, and it wasn't in the sky alone.
"There's a whole fleet of them," the pilot said. "Look at the ASA. My gosh, they are going against the wind. The wind is 120 knots."
The pilots wondered if it might be a drone, but an advanced sensor system showed the unknown object had no detectable propulsion system, seemed oblivious to the powerful winds at that altitude, and slowed to a near stop before rotating.
"Like I said before if this was a court of law, we are beyond reasonable doubt," said Luis Elizondo, former Pentagon Intelligence Officer.
Until last October, Elizondo was the point man in the Pentagon's secret study of unknown aerial objects. AATIP was the acronym for the study authorized by senators including former United States Senator from Nevada, Harry Reid, with the analysis conducted by a civilian contractor, Bigelow Aerospace of Nevada. The primary goal of the study, Elizondo said, wasn't to guess where these things originated but rather, how they worked.
"I think we've come very close to understanding the physics of how it works, and that's very exciting," Elizondo said. "For the first time, we have a compelling picture that what we are seeing is explained in our current understanding of physics, advanced physics, and quantum mechanics.
Elizondo left the Pentagon, in large part, because he felt the issue wasn't getting the attention it deserved. The military is still collecting and studying UFO data, according to Elizondo. The analysis by Bigelow's team ended in 2012. The now, famous Tic Tac UFO case from 2004 is an example of how things worked. The case sat in a file at the Pentagon until it was resurrected during the study. An abbreviated video clip was released last year.
After seeing weird radar returns for days, advanced warplanes attached to the U.S.S. Nimitz Battle Group off the coast of San Diego went to take a close look. F-18 pilot Dave Fravor, the commander of the Elite Black Aces, wrote in an initial report that the pilots detected a huge object, the size of a 747 just under the surface of the ocean. A 40-foot "Tic Tac" shaped object hovered above it. Fravor flew around then closed in on the object, which turned to face his plane, then displayed its full capabilities.
"It takes off like nothing I've ever seen. Poof, it's gone," Fravor said.
Fravor said he believes the Tic Tac is not of this world, but he also said he sure would like to fly one. Elizondo says there have been multiple other Tic Tac encounters with the U.S. military both before and since. Scientists now think a single technology explains the amazing things these aircrafts can do.
"We do believe all these observables we've been seeing, sudden and extreme acceleration, hypersonic velocities, low observability, trans medium travel, and last but not least, positive lift, anti-gravity -- is really the manifestation of a single technology, Elizondo said. "So it's not five exotic technologies we're trying to figure out, it's one. and we think we know that one too."
One of the scientists who helped figure it out is a physicist named Dr. Hal Puthoff. He wrote the proposal that helped Bigelow land the contract to study UFOs, and in a recent radio interview, he said he commissioned 38 scientific papers during the study to explore exotic propulsion ideas, including what he calls space-time metric engineering. In essence, the idea that the Gimbal and Tic Tac craft can create their own space-time bubbles.
"We believe it has to do with a high amount of energy and the ability to warp space-time, not by a lot, but by a little," said Elizondo.
Elizondo first went public back in October, when he was on a stage with rock star Tom Delonge, who formed something called "To the Stars Academy. Dr. Hal put off is part of the team, along with Steve Justice, the former top engineer at Lockheed's skunkworks, who says he wants to build something that can do what the Gimbal can do.
For Elizondo, the question is no longer an 'if' question, it's a 'when' question.
Luis Elizondo confirmed that special materials would likely be needed to manipulate space-time. The I-Team will have more on that in a future report.

NASA is hard at work trying to get a robot on Titan. To find out exactly what it would be up against, the agency has built a tiny, freezing methane ocean at the Washington State University.

Titan is the second largest moon in our solar system, only more modest in size than Jupiter’s Ganymede. However, it’s a spot that NASA has been itching to visit for quite some time now, as it is the largest body after Earth to harbor stable, liquid oceans. But put the snorkel away, because this is by no means an ocean you’d want to take a dip in. Titan isn’t covered in water, it’s covered in methane — frigid, liquid methane.
To coldly go where nobody has gone before
NASA plans to send an autonomous submarine to poke around Titan’s seas and oceans some time in the next 20 years. So far, they’ve been designing the mission and the craft based on data beamed back by the Cassini mission. However, environmental conditions on the moon are so dramatically different and extreme compared to those we’re used to, that the agency believes we need more experimental data to check the bot against.
As such, they’ve teamed up with scientists at Washington State University to recreate the moon’s methane ocean in a laboratory.
The WSU researchers built a test chamber filled with a “liquid mixture at very cold temperatures to simulate the seas of Titan,” a press release from the University details. “They added a two-inch, cylinder-shaped cartridge heater that would approximate the heat that a submarine would create”. The project was led by Ian Richardson, a former WSU graduate who interned at NASA on an unrelated research project.
“My research just took a right turn, and I went with it. It’s a crazy experiment, and I never thought I would have had this opportunity. It’s been a very fun and challenging experimental design problem,” he said.
The make-believe ocean has revealed two hurdles that researchers will have to overcome when designing the sub-to-be: the formation of gas bubbles and recording video at the freezing temperatures.

If the submarine is powered by a heat-generating mechanism, it would cause nitrogen bubbles to form in the very cold liquid on Titan (which is mostly made up of a methane-ethane mix at roughly -185° Celsius (-300° Fahrenheit). These bubbles have shown that they can severely hinder the submarine’s mobility and make it difficult for onboard sensors to collect data.
Even if such bubbles fail to materialize, snapping images and videos of the sub’s surroundings will be a challenging task — mostly because it’s a really cold, pressurized environment (comparable to being under 30 meters/100 feet of water).
One piece of good news is that the nitrogen fraction in the mix lowers the freezing point of Titan’s oceans from about -185° to roughly -200° Celsius (-297° to -324° Fahrenheit).
“That’s a big deal. That means you don’t have to worry about icebergs,’’ Richardson explains.
The team says they worked around the temperature and pressure problems and developed a device that allowed them to shoot video footage in the liquid and snow methane-ethane mix inside the chamber. In the future, all measurements and data recorded in this experiment will be used to ” to aid in thermodynamic modeling of the Titan seas as well as the design of the Titan Submarine,” he added.
The paper “Experimental PρT-x measurements of liquid methane-ethane-nitrogen mixtures.” has been published in the journal Fluid Phase Equilibria.
In 2017, there were 169 UFO sightings reported directly to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), the world's oldest and largest UFO phenomenon investigative body.
FOX 17 dug into the data, examining hundreds of local reports while getting a good look at viewer submitted videos of possible UFOs flying over the skies. This, after a former Pentagon official revealed a government program allegedly researching UFO's for years.
In December of 2017, the world learned that the Pentagon spent $22 million on a program called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, according to Luis Elizondo, who led the Pentagon effort. Elizondo told The New York Times he resigned from the Department of Defense in October in protest what he called excessive secrecy surrounding the program and internal opposition to it after funding for the effort ended in 2012. The footage below was released by Elizondo following his resignation.
Footage shows an encounter between U.S. fighter jets and “anomalous aerial vehicles.”

However, you don't have to go far to find first-hand accounts of extraterrestrial encounters. Of 151 reports of UFOs documented worldwide by MUFON in 2018, six were reported in Michigan.
MUFON was founded in 1969 to investigate the growing UFO phenomenon through a team of investigators and researchers. The Michigan MUFON chapter meets five times a year outside of Flint, where like-minded people come together and share their personal stories about what they've seen in the sky.
"People are seeing things they can't understand on a regular basis," said MUFON state director Bill Konkolesky. "When people can come together and talk face-to-face about what they've seen and what their theories are on everything, that's real."
Konkolesky says the organization is big into investigating the UFO phenomenon based on evidence. Michigan has three "licensed investigators" who collect data and keep it organized and open to the public. You can even track UFO sightings worldwide in real time here. However, Konkolesky admits that 97% of the time, a sighting is not a UFO.
"We had 410 sightings a few years ago, and that was the year when Chinese lanterns were all the rage," Konkolesky said. Other identified sightings are drone or some sort of meteorological event like the recent Bolide/meteor sighted across the state in January. The other 3% remains unknown.
The UFO Center, operated out of Washington state by Peter Davenport, also takes reports of UFOs on a daily basis. Davenport says people should do their own research before making up their minds about whether or not they "believe" that UFOs exist.
"I think it’s important that people see things with their own eyes before they believe them or accept them," Davenport said. "Biblical scholars, for example, should be included in the UFO debate and research process, because they might have some input that would be significant."
The UFO Reporting Center has received more than 150 cases in 2018. That number is rising every day. Davenport believes it's because people are starting to "believe what they're seeing."
Here are a number of historically-head scratching cases that have happened in Michigan:
1) 1975, Konkolesky says there was a large UFO sighting over Wurtsmith Air Force Base in Iosco County, Michigan.
2.) March 8th, 1994: hundreds of witnesses reported seeing flickering lights resembling a string of Christmas lights or a group of airplanes flying close together near Holland. Below are 911 calls and testimony from the National Weather Service, (MUFON).
3) March, 1966: hundreds of Michigan residents saw colorful, strange lights across the sky. Konkolesky said the US Air Force came out to investigate but claimed that residents were seeing no more than swamp or marsh gas.
"So I like to joke that Michigan is not only the Great Lakes State, but we’re also the swamp gas state," Konkolesky said. "Michigan has a rich history when it comes to UFO sightings."
It's important to note there has not been an actual sighting of a UFO confirmed by any governing agency. UFO enthusiasts encourage the general public to do their own research before coming to any conclusion.

“Alle op dit ogenblik bestudeerde signalen staan op groen,” zei astronoom Amaury Triaud van de Universiteit van Birmingham. “Op dit moment wijst niets erop dat zij niet ‘levensvatbaar’ zijn”.
Vloeibaar water
In februari vorig jaar maakten astronomen bekend bij de dwergster TRAPPIST-1, op veertig lichtjaar van ons, zeven planeten te hebben gevonden. Qua grootte lijken ze op de onze.
Drie ervan, Trappist-1 e, f en g, omcirkelen in de levensvatbare zone hun ster, wat betekent dat er vloeibaar water op hun oppervlak zou zijn.
Sindsdien beschikken de astronomen over meer informatie met betrekking tot de ster, haar planeten en hun atmosfeer.
Gesteente
De wetenschappers konden hun metingen van omvang en massa van de planeten verfijnen om vast te stellen dat zij vooral uit gesteente bestaan en dat bij sommige tot vijf procent van hun massa uit water kan bestaan.
Ter vergelijking: slechts 0,02 procent van de massa van de aarde bestaat uit water.
Aangaande de kans dat de planeten leven zouden herbergen, zei Triaud ‘in dit stadium niets te kunnen zeggen omdat ze erg verschillen van de onze’.
Beste plaats
“Maar ze vormen tot op vandaag de beste plaats buiten ons zonnestelsel om te zoeken naar signalen van leven,” klonk het.
Afgelopen week werd één van de grootste en zwaarste raketten ooit de ruimte in gestuurd, met de complimenten van Elon Musk, de baas van SpaceX.
Deze raket had een bijzondere lading en dat was de privé Tesla cabriolet van Musk, iets waar ook buitenaardsen belangstelling voor schijnen te hebben.
Het was een bijzondere week voor de ruimtevaart, want:
Elon Musk heeft het geflikt. Ruim twee uur later dan gepland is vanavond de Falcon Heavy-raket van zijn bedrijf SpaceX met succes gelanceerd. De geslaagde operatie is een enorme opsteker voor Musks missie naar Mars.
Elon Musk zou Elon Musk niet zijn als hij de raket zonder kenmerkende handtekening de lucht in zou sturen. In dit geval wordt die handtekening gevormd door een kersrode Tesla Roadster, als lading in het topje van de Falcon Heavy-raket. Het is zijn eigen Roadster. Inclusief een pop achter het stuur, gekleed in een door SpaceX ontwikkeld ruimtepak.
Echter, de spectaculaire beelden in de ruimte, gefilmd vanuit de Tesla, tonen ook nog iets anders. En dat zijn UFO's die op een gegeven moment een kijkje komen nemen naar wat daar nu eigenlijk rondvliegt.
Het zijn onmiskenbaar UFO's die daar rondvliegen, want ze stoppen, vertragen of versnellen en veranderen van richting. Iets dat sterren of planeten uiteraard niet doen.
In de volgende video is te zien wat er daar rondvliegt als je doorspoelt naar ongeveer 2 minuten 20 seconden in de video.
En niet alleen bij de raket van Elon Musk doken UFO's op. In Japan werd enkele dagen geleden een raket gelanceerd en ook daar verschenen vreemde objecten in beeld.
Op de volgende afbeelding zie je de raket en rood omcirkeld drie vreemde lichten.
Wanneer je het beeld uitvergroot, ziet het er zo uit.
De raket werd gelanceerd om een satelliet in een baan om de aarde te brengen en diverse UFO-websites zijn van mening dat die drie lichten een onverklaarbaar object zijn. Volgens Scott Waring is deze UFO zeker 20 keer groter dan de raket en dat zou dan inderdaad een fiks ruimteschip zijn.
UFO of misschien toch een vliegtuig omdat wanneer je goed kijkt er ook een strobe light waar te nemen is. Of zijn de beelden gewoon helemaal nep? Bij het ter perse gaan van dit artikel lazen we in het AD dat de raket uit koers is geraakt en Mars niet zal bereiken. Script? Of toeval?
En tenslotte een bericht en een video die wij ontvingen van Paul Harmans (dank!), onder andere bekend van de website Ufowijzer.
Het gaat om een door hem in het Nederlands ondertitelde video van Tyler van Secureteam. Daarin maakt Tyler bekend dat er zeer binnenkort voor een korte periode gratis een interessante documentaire te zien zal zijn.
Deze heet "Australian Skies 2" en is dan te zien voordat deze in première gaat.
AFPElon Musk doopte de pop achter het stuur van de Tesla Roadster om tot Starman.
WETENSCHAP & PLANEET De sportauto van Tesla die met de Falcon Heavy de ruimte werd ingestuurd, wijkt af van het geplande traject. Dat heeft Elon Musk gisteren op Twitter bekendgemaakt. De CEO van SpaceX gaf toe dat Starman, de pop die achter het stuur zit, een beetje te hard op de gaspedaal had getrapt.
In een tweet bevestigde Musk dat de finale bestemming van de missie is veranderd. “Koers gewijzigd waardoor traject voorbij Mars loopt en reis verderzet naar de planetoïdengordel.”
Musk liet een Tesla Roadster als ludiek experiment meevliegen met de eerste vlucht van de Falcon Heavy. Het doel was de heliocentrische baan die op ongeveer dezelfde afstand van de zon als van Mars ligt. Op zijn nieuwe traject zal de Falcon Heavy maandenlang onderweg zijn naar de asteroïdengordel tussen Mars en Jupiter. Hier is het risico op een catastrofale botsing groter dan op de oorspronkelijk gewenste koers. De missiemanagers hebben nog niet bevestigd of de koersverandering een ongeluk of intentioneel was.
Sommige experts vrezen voor de effecten van ruimtelijke straling op de Tesla Roadster. Professor chemie aan de Indiana University William Carroll legt uit wat er kan foutlopen: “Alle organische stoffen lijden onder de verschillende types van straling. Als de bindingen breken, kan de auto letterlijk uit elkaar vallen.”

SpaceX hoopt met deze demonstratievlucht contracten van NASA te winnen. Musk heeft ook het verlies bevestigd van een centrale ‘core booster’ na de lancering, een van de drie kleinere Falcon 9-raketten die samengebonden werden om de Falcon Heavy te vormen. De twee andere raketten keerden veilig terug naar het landingsplatform aan het Kennedy Space Center. De derde had op een boot in de Atlantische Oceaan moeten landen, maar crashte in de oceaan. “Het dek van het schip lag vol scherven”, zei Musk. “We gaan dit onderzoeken. De raket is duidelijk niet op het onbemande schip geland. We hebben er beelden van.”
Musk heeft meer dan een half miljard geïnvesteerd in de lancering van de Falcon Heavy. Hij hoopte op succes om zijn concurrenten af te troeven. Er zijn namelijk verschillende bedrijven die strijden om ruimtevluchten voor de man in de straat mogelijk te maken. “We willen een nieuwe ruimterace. Dit zal andere bedrijven aanmoedigen om hetzelfde te doen”, legt Musk zijn beweegredenen uit.

This is in the Phoenix, Arizona area, a location famous for the largest UFO ever seen that blacked out the stars back in 1997. This UFO is clearly a craft, but also may be a USAF experimental craft that uses alien tech at a local base. The fact that a helicopter showed up shortly after only confirms that it was very important to the US military.

We were driving on the I17 heading into Phoenix when I noticed a rectangular object hovering over the mountains on the left hand side. My friend Dan grabbed his cellphone and took a picture of the object. After about 10 minutes the object disappeared. A helicopter appeared shortly there after.

People usually go to Google Maps for educational mapping service as it offers satellite images of locations around the world. However, now and then keen observers picked up strange sightings. One photograph in Antarctica shows a lone iceberg that UFO hunters believe an underwater alien base.
Google Maps is designed for people who want to visit all areas of the world from the comfort of their turf. However, along with its informative qualities, the site also offers several entertaining images.
Seeing residential streets and national parks is just an ordinary thing in Google Maps, but many also are downright bizarre.
One particular image shows a lonely iceberg off the coast of Antarctica.
A block of ice approximately 500 metres long was discovered at the coordinate 72°43’13.53″S 78°40’21.56″W.
The iceberg seems nothing out of the ordinary apart from its placing.
However, some UFO hunters believe it is an underwater alien lair. They think it does not fit the ordinary iceberg description.
They explained that icebergs could be classified based on their shapes and forms, which are tabular and non-tabular. They observed that the shapes and forms of the iceberg in question look very different from all the various shapes and forms of tabular and non-tabular icebergs. They suspected that it could be a vessel disguised as an iceberg.
Many will say this is an airplane, but the area had a no fly zone at the time of the rocket launch. On the 18th of January the Japanese Space agency Jaxa launched it’s Epsilon 3 rocket to put a commercial planetary observational satellite into earth’s atmosphere. The launch went perfectly, but during the launch a strange mysterious craft was filmed. This UFO was flying at the same altitude as the rocket. It was moving along with the rocket as it started it’s orbit around the Earth. What was this object?

UFO investigators have mapped nearly 60,000 flying saucer sightings in the USA with staggering results that could show why there is an alleged link between UFOs and the military.
UFO MAP: Nearly 60,000 sightings have been plotted across the US.
Sightings recorded by the US-based National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), an independent organisation that logs and investigates such cases, have been charted on a map of North America.
Data analyst Adam Crahen plotted all 58,828 reports received by NUFORC for the US from 1995 to 2014 on a map of the US.
The impressive end result shows swathes of green UFO reports spread out across the vast country.
However, it has been suggested the most dense areas for sightings coincide with US military installations.
Alex Hollings, a retired US duty marine, now writes for Sofrep.com, a news and intelligence service provided by former special operations veterans.
He wrote: "When laying that same map of reported UFO sightings over a US map showing the locations of all military installations, an interesting trend starts to emerge.
It’s not as unlikely as you may think. Military aircraft are often mistaken for Unidentified Flying Objects in US skies because their shape and behaviour don’t adhere to the norms we’re accustomed to.

"Many of the regions that seem to show a high frequency of UFO reports coincide with the locations of military installations.
"For the conspiracy minded, this might mean our alien visitors have taken a particular interest in what our military is up to.
"Others might be inclined to conclude many of these supposed UFO sightings may be nothing more than misidentified military aircraft."
Conspiracy theorists have developed many claims about UFO and US military links.
The most far-fetched of which suggests intelligent aliens have arrived on Earth and been hidden away in top-secret US military installations away from public view.
There, they help military scientists reverse engineer their flying saucer technology, in return for being allowed to abduct a small number of human beings for their own experimentation.
Another slightly less outlandish claim suggests that aliens are not working with the military as above, but so-called black projects are underway at secret bases, such as Area 51 in Nevada.
There, it is claimed, experts try to reverse engineer UFOs that have been recovered after "crashes" in order to produce the most hi-tech spy craft ever built on Earth.
Many claim these "spy craft" being tested are then mistaken for alien UFOs.
Mr Hollings believes the real reason so many UFOs are see near military installations is more straight forward.
He added: "It’s not as unlikely as you may think. Military aircraft are often mistaken for Unidentified Flying Objects in US skies because their shape and behaviour don’t adhere to the norms we’re accustomed to.
"Sometimes, these sightings are the result of the testing of never before seen platforms, but others, it’s simply a matter of military aircraft not exhibiting the same behaviour seen from commercial aircraft above our heads.
"A bright light flying low over a rural region and moving in a seemingly unusual manner could be Martians… but it could also be a Blackhawk in the distance. Most people don’t have a lot of experience identifying either, through no fault of their own.
"Is this a reasonable explanation for nearly 60,000 sightings spread out over a 19-year span?
"Maybe not, but the next time you look to the sky and think you may see an inbound flying saucer, it might be worth doing a quick search to see how far you are from the nearest air national guard base. The answer may surprise you."
Groups like NUFORC and the larger, but similar US organisation the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), readily accept the about 95 per cent of the thousands of reports they receive can be explained by natural phenomena and misidentified aircraft built by humans.
The other around five per cent are said to remain a mystery.

The difference in length and compositions of double helix DNA in organisms is responsible for the difference between them. Viruses differ from other organisms as their T letter has been replaced by U in genomic sequence. Even though the virus has RNA as their genetic material, they are found to be inactive outside a host body.
Aaron Burton, a planetary scientist of NASA says that DNA is like a language. It has got an alphabet of four letters, A, G, C and T. All the life forms on Earth use the same alphabet from the tiniest microbe to humans like books in a library. Differences are created with the difference in arrangement of the letters. But the entire book would have the combination of same letters giving commonality among existing life.
Scientists have identified 20 amino acids to form proteins in all Earthly organisms. More than 80 amino acids had been discovered in meteors like Murchison meteorite. Researchers are yet to find the significance of these amino acids in forming alien life.

Life on earth is characterised by DNA formed by right-handed (D) sugar bonds and amino acids or its constituent proteins formed by left-handed (L)bonds. Scientists believe that all other extraterrestrial lives are be formed by L genetic material bonds and right-handed proteins.
Organisms functioning with L amino acid bond cannot synthesize or utilize Right-handed amino acids. Similarly, R sugars also cannot recognize their left-handed counterparts.
Scientists say that laboratory made L sugars cannot be used by earthly organisms. However, researchers have also found that laboratory made left-handed sugar could function along with right-handed proteins.
Scientists believe that meteorites with 50/50 right handed and left handed sugars are positive signs for extraterrestrial life. It was found that at least one meteorite would fall to Earth every day. These meteorites get contaminated by microorganisms living in the atmosphere.
The earthly microorganisms attached to the meteorite decays any organic or inorganic alien carbon compounds in them. Most part of the meteors burns in the atmosphere, vaporizing any organic compounds in its surface. They may form plasma layers in the upper earth atmosphere or may form anywhere on Earth. Recovery of these foreign objects is difficult as it might have fallen to oceans or any remote locations on Earth.
It was found that meteorite materials are enriched in carbon-13 isotopes while Earthly objects are mainly built of carbon 12 isotopes. Presence of carbon-13 in a polished looking stone is generally considered as a positive sign for it's out of planet origin. NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission to asteroid Bennu would collect samples from the unadulterated carbonaceous surface of the distant solar object in Kuiper belt. OSIRIS-REx would collect rock samples and soil from the half kilometer wide Asteroid Bennu.
The mission launched in September 2016 will reach its destination in January 2019. The probe will orbit the asteroid for a span of one and half years to map the structures in it, before landing in a significant location to study the region and to collect samples from it.
Astronomers believe that the mission could help in the study of alien life and in finding mysteries behind objects which form the solar system.

SECRET police audio files reveal that the two men behind one of the craziest "alien encounters" ever recorded were telling the truth, a UFO researcher has claimed.
The bizarre Pascagoula incident involved two fishermen who claimed to have been captured by three alien creatures with lobster-like claws and taken into a UFO - before being released.

Audio recorded by the sheriff's department when the men reported the incident, obtained by Sun Online, show the men were highly distressed by the alleged incident - and never strayed from their story - even when cops left them alone and secretly taped them.
The audio files prove the two men were telling the truth, according to Brit ufologist Philip Mantle, who has republished a book about the incident, which he calls one of the "most unique close encounters on record."
The incident took place in October 1973, when keen fishermen Charles Hickson, 42, and Calvin Parker, 19, were on the banks of the Pascagoula River, in the US state of Mississippi, and heard a whizzing sound overhead.
They claim that an oval shaped "craft", some 8ft across, suddenly appeared near them and seemed to levitate about 2ft above the ground.

A door opened and three creatures - who were "humanoid" in shape and about 5ft tall - emerged and seized the men, "floating" them into the UFO, they later told police.
Both men reported being paralysed and numb - while Calvin claimed that he had fainted due to fright.
The men said the creatures had lobster-like claws at the ends of their arms, "carrot-like" growths for their nose and ears, and only one leg and their heads also appeared connected directly to their shoulders, with no discernible neck.

The creatures' skin was described as pale in colour, wrinkled, with no eyes and slits for mouths.
On the ship, Charles claimed that he was examined by what looked like a large football-shaped mechanical eye, about 6 to 8 inches in diameter, that seemed to scan his body.
Calvin claimed that he could not recall what had happened to him inside the craft, although later, during hypnotic regression he offered some hazy details.

The men said they were released after about 15-20 minutes and the creatures levitated them, with Hickson's feet dragging along the ground, back to their original positions on the river bank. The terrified men claimed to have sat in a car for about 45 minutes, trying to calm themselves before they tried to report the sighting to officials at Keesler Air Force Base, but were told to go to police.

At about 10:30pm, the pair arrived at the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Mississippi, where they gave a report of what happened and were questioned by officers.
After around 30 minutes of questioning, Sheriff Fred Diamond decided to leave the men alone in a room that was rigged with a hidden microphone - to try and find out if they were lying or not.
He assumed that if they were lying it would become immediately apparent when the two spoke privately but instead, they continued to act incredibly distressed - and never straying from their fantastic tale.
This so-called "secret tape" had been held on file at the Jackson County Sheriff's department since 1973.

I expect I never passed out in my whole life." CHARLES: " I've never seen nothing like that before in my life. You can't make people believe." CALVIN: " I don't want to keep sitting here. I want to see a doctor." CHARLES: " They better wake up and start believing ... they better start believing." CALVIN: "You see how that damn door come right up?" CHARLES: " I don't know how it opened, son. I don't know." CALVIN: " It just laid up and just like that those sons of b*tches -just like that they come out." CHARLES: " I know. You can't believe it. You can't make people believe it." CALVIN: " I paralysed right then. I couldn't move." CHARLES: " They won't believe it. They gonna believe it one of these days. Might be too late. I knew all along they was people from other worlds up there. I knew all along. I never thought it would happen to me." CALVIN: " You know yourself I don't drink. CHARLES: " I know that, son. When I get to the house I'm gonna get me another drink, make me sleep. Look, what we sitting around for. I gotta go tell Blanche... what we waiting for?" CALVIN (panicky): " I gotta go to the house. I'm getting sick. I gotta get out of here." [Charlie leaves the room] CALVIN: " It's hard to believe . . . Oh God, it's awful... I know there's a God up there..."
Seeing that the police were skeptical of their story, Charles and Calvin even insisted that they take lie detector tests to prove their honesty.
Within days, Pascagoula was the centre of an international news story, with reporters swarming the town.
Tiring of the publicity, Charles and Calvin moved to Jones County, Mississippi, about 150 miles north of Pascagoula, where Calvin was eventually admitted to hospital for what was described as "an emotional breakdown."

While Calvin avoided public attention, Charles appeared on Dick Cavett's TV talk show in January 1974, and spoke at occasional UFO conferences.
He also co-wrote a book about the event with William Mendez titled " UFO Contact at Pascagoula", which is now being republished by Philip Mantle.
Charles died in September 9, 2011, at age 80, but never backed away from his alien abduction story despite ridicule.

Philip, a former director of investigations for the British UFO Research Association, said: "Unfortunately this unique close encounter has fallen by the wayside and has been largely forgotten to many UFO researchers.
"It was with that in mind that in late 2017 I reached out to Calvin Parker and I re-published the book on this fascinating event.
"I have also been asked by a colleague who works in the film and TV industry to consider a movie based on the experience of Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker.
"Irrespective of that there is no doubt that this is one of the most unique close encounters on record."

Philip also points to how the hard-to-believe story has been corroborated by others in recent years.
In 2001, retired navy chief petty officer Mike Cataldo revealed that he observed an unusual UFO - an object like a large tambourine with small flashing lights - at dusk on the same date in 1973.
Philip, of Pontefract, West Yorks, also received an email from a man called Evan last year claiming to have seen a UFO on his parent's nearby farm about an hour before the Pascagoula "abduction".

Since the Universe is big and old, and life on Earth didn’t take relatively long to evolve, then life should be everywhere in the Universe. And yet, no matter how hard we look, we don’t see any evidence of it out there, not on Mars, not sending us radio messages, and not taking over entire galaxies and using up all their energy.
This, of course, is the Fermi Paradox, and it’s an absolutely fascinating concept to think about. There are many possible resolutions to the Fermi Paradox, but most of them are unsatisfying. Sure, we could be living in a cosmic zoo, or we fundamentally misunderstand how difficult it’ll be to travel to another star.
And maybe we’re just the first lifeforms in the observable Universe that have reached the level of technology that can conceive of exploring the Universe. But then, what are the chances of that? That really seems unlikely.
But then there’s the idea of the Great Filter. That there’s some kind of event that affects every single intelligent civilization, stopping it from reaching out into the galaxy, sending out signals, and exploring other worlds. Something wipes them out every time.

And considering the fact that we’re on the verge of becoming a multi-planet species ourselves, this concept of the Great Filter becomes even more unsettling.
It could be right around the corner from us.
Our friends at Kurzgesagt just released a video all about the Great Filter, and honestly, I think it’s the best video they’ve ever done. The animation, as always, is excellent, but the way they approach the Great Filter is really innovative, showing how evidence of life in the Universe is actually a bad sign, since it means we’re probably not the first life forms out there.
The recent revelation that the United States military had funneled some $22 million out of the Pentagon’s black budget to investigate reports of Unidentified Flying Objects was met with a variety of responses in the media, and from the public at large. Some saw the investigation as a waste of money, others called it confirmation that we’ve been visited by extra-terrestrials, and as is so often the case when it comes to ideologically polarizing issues like the existence of alien life, the truth, most likely, lies somewhere in between.
In truth, the existence of the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program, started in 2007 and funded through 2012 while continuing to operate without specified funding, really only means one thing: The Pentagon decided to investigate what they deemed to be credible reports about what could be advanced aircraft in American airspace.

While some have been eager to claim the Pentagon’s allocation of funds toward investigating these reports must mean Uncle Sam is aware of E.T.’s presence on earth, we need to remember that the nature of the investigation doesn’t dictate the origin of the aircraft being investigated. In short, advanced aircraft in the skies over the United States pose a direct and legitimate threat to the nation’s national security, regardless of where they hail from.
“The feds have long had an interest in UFOs, going back to the celebrity cases of the late 1940s—Roswell, anyone?” explained Seth Shostak, a senior researcher at the once government-funded SETI Institute – an organization that searches for alien life via radio astronomy. “Much of the motivation for this interest was the worry that the strange things being reported in the sky might be novel Soviet—or today, Russian or Chinese—aircraft.”
Shostak is right. Interested as Jim Mattis might be to learn that little green men from Mars are zipping through controlled airspace, the basis for allocating funds to investigate these reports is clear: threat identification and mitigation. Whether these craft come from Alpha Centuari or Beijing, if they exist, the U.S. military needs to assess what threat they may pose to the American people.
2. The government has a long history of investigating these things.

Many have accurately reported that, even while the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program was investigating reports of unidentified objects in the sky, the federal government has long denied taking any interest in reports of UFOs. It is true that if you ask most politicians and government officials directly, they’ll tell you that they have more important things to worry about, and allocate funding to.
The thing is, that’s not exactly true. The United States government has always had an interest in the possibility of Unidentified Flying Objects, regardless of their origin. In the 1940s and 50s, the Air Force funded Projects Sign and Grudge, both tasked with finding explanations for military reports of strange aerial phenomena. In the 50s and 60s, Project Blue Book was born out of the two previous efforts. Over the span of 17 years, Project Blue Book investigators looked into 12,618 reports of “flying saucers” and similar mysterious aircraft, before being shut down. That was the last time the government openly acknowledged their efforts in this field, but was far from the end of their interest.
The CIA continued to study UFOs (as well as even stranger paranormal mysteries) well into the 1990s. Starting in the 1970s and continuing through the 90s, NASA provided around $12 million per year to SETI (the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) and today, NASA’s Astrobiology Institute exists solely to look for and postulate on the possibility of alien life.
3. Not much money was spent on the project.
As the New York Times revealed in its investigation, the Pentagon’s secret UFO investigative arm received around $22 million in funding, a lofty figure that has drawn some criticism. There’s no question that $22 million is a LOT, but for the sake of perspective, let’s try to view that number through the scope of defense enterprises, rather than your average American’s budget.
The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program received funding through the Pentagon from its inception in 2007 through its fiscal cutoff in 2012, meaning that $22 million was disbursed over six years of effort. That means the annual budget for the effort was around $3.6 million per year. It’s true that even the smaller figure is still a lot of money, but let’s compare it to some other things the defense department spends money on each year to gain a bit of perspective:
$283,500 per year to monitor the day-to-day life of baby gnatchatchers, an endangered species of bird.
$84 million per year on erectile dysfunction medications for military service members.
$100 million in flight tickets purchased but then not used between 1997 and 2003.
$3.1 billion over two years on sending employees on paid administrative leave when “barred from their desks” for a variety of reasons.
4. It could be riddled with corruption.

Now that we’ve clarified that, all in all, the Pentagon’s most recent effort to identify mysterious craft in the skies wasn’t a particularly expensive endeavor, it’s equally important that we acknowledge the likelihood that much of that money may have simply been squandered on a celestial snake oil salesman.
While Luis Elizondo was in charge of the Pentagon’s staff of investigators, he and his team were not the direct recipient of much of the funding allocated to the effort. Instead, most of that $22 million went to billionaire industrialist, Space contractor and UFO believer Robert Bigelow. By his own admission, it was a trip to Bigelow’s legendary “Skinwalker Ranch” that first convinced Senator Harry Reid that the investigation needed to be opened, and it was Bigelow’s company that then received the lion’s share of the Pentagon’s funding for the effort. In the eyes of believers, this sounds like Bigelow could have been onto something… but it’s just as likely that he used one hell of a sales pitch to funnel more money out of Uncle Sam’s pockets.
In the past few months, the idea of Unidentified Flying Objects as spacecraft from another world has enjoyed a resurgence in the minds of the public, thanks in no small part to the revelation that the Pentagon has been secretly devoting millions of dollars to the investigation of just such anomalous sightings for years now. Of course, public interest in the idea that we’re being visited by advanced air platforms hailing from across the sea or across the galaxy, tends to be cyclical, and one could be forgiven for assuming that reports of strange objects in the sky had died down in the years since the last time the X-Files was on the air. Surprisingly, or perhaps, unsurprisingly (depending on your beliefs) that doesn’t seem to be the case.
The internet has allowed independent organizations devoted to the serious (and sometimes not-so-serious) study of UFOs the reach they need to compile massive amounts of data regarding sightings and even supposed interactions with everything from flying saucers to time machines. These largely self-reported sighting databases maintained by groups like The National UFO Reporting Center offer thousands of sightings to click through and read about – providing either a glimpse into the honest reporting of thousands of Americans… or the ravings of mad men and internet trolls. It’s honestly almost impossible to differentiate between the two.
None the less, there are some interesting things to glean from these data aggregators, whether you believe each data point represents a legitimate sighting of something unusual, the delusion of a wishful thinker, or the geographic location of an internet troll. Acknowledging that, deep within the Pentagon, there are senior defense officials tasked with investigating sightings of this sort suggests that there’s some value to be had in taking a look at some of these cases, or from a macro-perspective, to looking for trends in sightings that may offer reasonable explanations for regions with abnormal high rates of sightings.
Last year, data analyst Adam Crahen took of one of the largest databases of alleged UFO encounters online, maintained by the the aforementioned National UFO Reporting Center, and plotted all 58,828 reports submitted between 1995 and 2014 on a map of the United States. The final product is an impressive, or perhaps frightening, green swath across nearly the entirety of the United States, seemingly suggesting that UFOs are not only here, but American airspace is just lousy with them.

Or maybe not. It comes as no surprise that more sightings are reported in areas of the country that are heavily populated (more people means more sightings) but the greener patches of the map also seem to coincide with something else.
When laying that same map of reported UFO sightings over a U.S. map showing the locations of all military installations, an interesting trend starts to emerge: many of the regions that seem to show a high frequency of UFO reports coincide with the locations of military installations. For the conspiracy minded, this might mean our alien visitors have taken a particular interest in what our military is up to… but others might be inclined to conclude that many of these supposed UFO sightings may be nothing more than misidentified military aircraft.

It’s not as unlikely as you may think. Military aircraft are often mistaken for Unidentified Flying Objects in U.S. skies because their shape and behavior don’t adhere to the norms we’re accustomed to. Sometimes, these sightings are the result of the testing of never before seen platforms, but others, it’s simply a matter of military aircraft not exhibiting the same behavior seen from commercial aircraft above our heads. A bright light flying low over a rural region and moving in a seemingly unusual manner could be Martians… but it could also be a Blackhawk in the distance. Most people don’t have a lot of experience identifying either, through no fault of their own.

Is this a reasonable explanation for nearly 60,000 sightings spread out over a 19-year span? Maybe not, but the next time you look to the sky and think you may see an inbound flying saucer, it might be worth doing a quick search to see how far you are from the nearest air national guard base. The answer may surprise you.

This massive 780-foot (238 meters) crop circle appeared in a remote area (Milk Hill) of Wiltshire, England back in 2001. It was an extremely complex and elaborate design, composed of exactly 409 circles that form what is known as a triskelion – a motif consisting of three interlocking spirals.
The symbol has been seen throughout history and across multiple cultures dating back thousands of years.
You may be skeptical, but this did in fact happen, making major headlines and eliciting the scrutiny of many researchers and scientists.

It is one of thousands of complex, highly detailed, and precise formations that have had researchers and scientists baffled for decades.
Theories And Explanations
Although a relationship between crop circles and unidentified flying objects (UFOs) has been postulated, there have as of yet been no proven sightings (or credible witnesses) of actual UFOs in connection to the formation of these patterns.
Sometimes, military helicopters have been captured examining the circles as well, there are a couple videos floating around on the the internet that allude to this, you can check some of them out here.
That being said, most of these formations are a little sloppy and, for the most part, the result of clever hoaxes, like this recent one in California. But some are so intricate, meaningful, and precisely designed that their execution would require an enormous amount of time, effort and technology – not the the work of a single night. Again, these complex patterns have appeared thousands of times throughout the world, though they are more predominant in the UK.
The crop circle at Milk Hill (see cover photo) is a perfect example of this. Again, keep in mind however, that there have been many impressive and very believable circles created by hoaxers, and as many have suggested, such circle makers could indeed create beautiful works of art overnight.
The problem is, nobody has ever come forward and nobody has been caught in the act.

The truth is, many of the complex formations are completely unexplained, and riddled with oddities that lend even more mystery to the already confusing equation.
One of these oddities is the fact that some formations, for example, have crops that were completely pushed down without ever having been broken. In some cases they’ve been bent just inches above the ground.
Traditional hoaxers have used wooden planks in the past, but in some cases, it’s clear that this method could not be behind the resulting circles.
Some of these designs are so mysterious and complex that they’ve been studied in a laboratory setting, and some have indicated that the nodes of some of the stalks were blasted out on one side. It’s not conclusively known how this was done, but the effect has been replicated by highly localized microwave heating. This type of technique causes water inside to vaporize and dislodge. As a result, the stock flops completely over to one side. (1)

This is a well known, perplexing phenomenon. Are crop circle hoaxers really blasting these stalks with highly localized microwave heating, or something that would produce the same results?
According to University of Oregon physicist Richard Taylor, yes, they are. He believes this is the only possible explanation, and has suggested that crop circle artists are using GPS devices, lasers, and microwaves to create these astonishing patterns of geometric forms.
This is what he wrote in an August 2011 issue of Physics World:
“Crop circle artists are not going to give up their secrets easily. This summer, unknown artists will venture into the countryside close to your homes and carry out their craft, safe in the knowledge that they are continuing the legacy of the most science-oriented art movement in history.”
He also expressed this same belief in some work of his that was published in the Journal Nature in 2010. (source)
Just as the Richard Dolan quote points out (above the picture), if something like this caused these formations, the people responsible must have a tremendous amount of resources, people, and money at their disposal, not to mention the skills necessary to make such a large and mathematically perfect design. It would indeed, as Taylor suggests, be the most science-oriented art movement in history, if done by humans.
Another interesting oddity regarding crop circles is that the electromagnetic field over the area where the crop has been laid down to create the image is often elecrostatically charged.
“There is a mounting body of evidence that suggests that a rare form of electromagnetic energy called an ionised plasma vortex (generally known as ball lighting) is involved.”
This explanation was originally offered by physicist Dr. Terence Meadon, who believed that these patterns were the result of atmospheric phenomena. He suggested that wind currents and ionized plasmas are the culprit. This type of theory does have validity, as several investigators believe that some kind of light energy is key in creating these circles. (2)(3)
The crop circle phenomenon is very interesting. Understandably, one might be quick to instantly dismiss the idea that some of these designs could be the work of some unknown entity. Many reasons to further ponder these wonders of the world exist.
Foster Gamble, heir to Proctor Gamble Corporation, and great-great-grandson to James Gamble, illustrates in his film Thrive that the extremely complex circles are also littered with strange magnetic particles.
“The patterns of the formations themselves have been studied endlessly. Aside from being supremely beautiful, many seem to be messages in one form or another, often with cosmological implications. None seem ominous or evil. If one receives any sense or feeling from them, it is benevolence. If it were to be the case that these formations are created by an extraterrestrial or non-human intelligence, we may conclude that at least one of the groups here might in fact care about us and wish to help us.”

Ask yourself, could hoaxers have created all of these (thousands) of patterns? Why is this a phenomenon that dates back (according to some) thousands of years? Even the science JournalNature published an article about them in 1880.
Could a few people have created something as complex as this one? In the dead of night, leaving no traces, marks, or footprints?
