Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

What is really going on with alien abductions?
This has been happening far longer than we realize, but it started really getting documented in the 50′s. Since then, the number of people reporting being abducted has increased dramatically. Over the years, there has been literally millions of cases of people having similarly strange experiences.
This is no mass hallucination, this is not a globally fabricated story millions of people are blindly subscribing to. Hundreds of thousands of people who have never met all describe the exact same story when they think they’ve been abducted.
People report being taken on ships and seeing other people they know, they report being examined and inspected. For a lot of us – this happens in our dreams. We interact with many species of different frequencies when we explore the astrals. Many of us have been on ships, to other planets and realities willingly and we don’t even remember it.
There are multiple reasons this phenomena happens; and the story of it is quite strange.
Summed up, the ‘Grey’ alien race has reproduced their race through cloning. After so many times, it’s altered their DNA to a point of damaging it. When they abduct humans, sometimes they take tissues of our DNA to create hybrids. Sound crazy? It’s a very interesting story unfolding on Earth – and many have experienced it. It can be extremely traumatic – or willing for some. Many have met their hybrid children and recall it being a beautiful experience.
It’s very unusual indeed, sounds like it’s straight out of a science fiction movie but it’s a reality for many.

AN INVESTIGATOR employed by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to find out if aliens were visiting earth says officials obtained pictures of a "real UFO" which were kept top secret before mysteriously vanishing and being withheld from the public.

Claims that photographs of an unidentifiable diamond-shaped craft were "shredded" by the ministry has propelled the little-known case of the "Calvine" sighting into one of the most controversial UFO mysteries in British history.
Former MoD UFO investigator turned whistleblower Nick Pope claims pictures of the "Calvine UFO" were not released to the National Archives with the first set of the ministry's UFO files released in 2009 as should have happened.
In August 1990, two hikers were walking in the Scottish Highlands, close to Calvine, north of Pitlochry, when the incredible aircraft appeared hovering over the remote landscape.
For about ten minutes they watched and took six colour photographs, before it sped off into the distance.
The pair said during the incident, a number of military jets were seen making a series of low-level passes.
At least one of the jets was also caught by them on camera.
Mr Pope and Channel 5 have reconstructed the image for a detailed report of the alleged cover up which will be broadcast on Friday.
The men, whose identities are no longer known, allegedly took the camera to the Scottish Daily Record Newspaper, who in turn allegedly sent the pictures and the negatives to the MoD.

Mr Pope became chief investigator for the team at the MoD, which was investigating the UFO phenomenon at the time.
After the X-Files first aired in 1994 he went onto be given the nickname Spooky - like David Duchovny's Fox Mulder character in the series.
He said: "The Defence Intelligence staff sent these images to JARIC that’s the Joint Air Reconnaissance and Intelligence Centre. Now this is the UK’s military centre of expertise when it comes to imagery analysis. These Intelligence personnel come to the conclusion that these photographs are real – it’s a solid craft and no one has the faintest idea what it is.”
MoD UFO files now with the National Archive recorded that the images were scrutinised by the ministry, with the jet identified a a Harrier and they were also able to spot a second Harrier in other shots.
Mr Pope, who investigated sightings for the MoD until 2009, said a blow up of the best shot had pride of place on a wall in the department, and later went behind his desk as his rank grew.
He said visitors would come into the section, see it, and ask what it was taken.
He replied that: "It was the best UFO photo we ever received.”
But Mr Pope said an "internal cover-up" over the image later began.
He said: "One day my Head of Division came in, and he removed it. I don’t know whether it was sent somewhere else for safe keeping or someone else on his behalf put it through the shredder but whatever happened when the MoD opened its UFO files, questions were asked about that picture and the answer was “Well we don’t know. It’s gone."
It was after the "head had convinced himself" the craft was a secret, prototype US aircraft or drone, Mr Pope said.
But he claims this was after "we’d just received assurances from the appropriate US authorities that they weren’t testing anything like that in the UK."
Outside evidence of the photograph’s existence has also disappeared.

If the Scottish Daily Record did receive the images, it never published the pictures.
Mr Pope added: “I can only assume intelligence specialists in the MoD convinced the paper not to run this – maybe through use of a D Notice, but maybe through some other means, and for whatever reason the paper complied with this request and the story was dropped.”
The hikers have never been traced or come forward.
In July 1996 Don Valley MP Martin Redmond, tried to get answers through a parliamentary question on the missing pictures.
The MoD said: “A number of negatives associated with the sighting were examined by staff responsible for air defence matters. Since it was judged they contained nothing of defence significance the negatives were not retained and we have no record of any photographs having been taken from them.”
But strangely in late 1991/92 officials asked for detailed line drawings of the unidentified object to be produced, which were released with the files.

It was taken so seriously, a memo was prepared within the department, should any media enquiries surface.
It read: "Such stories are not normally drawn to the attention of ministers, and the MoD press office invariably responds to questions along well-established lines emphasising our limited interest in the UFO phenomenon."
It also noted there was no record of Harriers operating in the area at the time and suggested the media should be told "no definite conclusions reached regarding large diamond-shaped object".
Express.co.uk have approached the Scottish Daily Record for comment.

Terrifying UFO Ordeal of The Knowles Family, Object Lifts Car Off Ground
Rare TV Footage and interviews with the Knowles Family shortly after their care was reported to be lifted off the ground by a UFO on the Nullarbor Plain, Australia;
THE Knowles family set out from Perth for Melbourne, in the hope of finding new jobs. Instead, a terrifying and violent 90-minute encounter with a UFO on the Nullarbor Plain left them so shaken they turned around and headed home. The family claim the glowing UFO, shaped like an egg in an eggcup, chased and even lifted their car off the road, dropping it so heavily a tyre burst. During the height of the encounter in January 1988, they said their voices became distorted and sounded like they were in slow motion. They said they drove at speeds up to 200km/h, that the car was covered inside and out by a black ash, and that the UFO landed on the roof, leaving dents. The incident on January 20 made world headlines, with many treating their story with skepticism — so much so that the Knowles family retreated from public view before being allegedly duped by an Adelaide marketing man, and losing the car after failing to continue its repayments.
What the Family Said
Here’s what the Knowles family — mother Faye, Patrick, 24, Sean, 21, and Wayne, 18, (ages at the time of the incident) say happened while driving their Ford Telstar, about 40km east of Mundrabilla near the SA-WA border. It was a little before 5am when Sean swerved to miss a huge “bright glowing” object on the road. It was bright and white with a yellow centre, shaped like an egg in an eggcup and about a metre wide, high enough to block their view. “It was a weird-looking thing and we stopped to go back and have a look at it,” Sean told The Advertiser. Walking towards the object, they became frightened and ran back to the car and drove away. “It chased us and at one stage when we were trying to get away we were doing up to 200km/h,” he said. He said the object, which was humming like a transformer, landed on the roof with a thump, pushing down the car and then lifting it from the road

His mother reached out the window to touch the object, which she said felt hot. “She told me it felt like a rubber suction pad,’’ he said. When Mrs Knowles brought her hand back inside, it was covered with a fine dust. While suspended in the air, their voices were distorted and it appeared as though they were talking in slow motion. “I wound down the window — it came in the car like smoke,” Mrs Knowles told Channel 7. “We thought we were going to die. We were going silly. Something was going into our heads.” Patrick said: “Something seemed to be on top of us. We looked around but it didn’t seem to be there. It seemed to kind of grab the car.
“I wound up the windows and the car began to smoke up inside. It smelt like dead bodies or something smelt really foul, like gas or something.’’ He said he felt as though his brains were being pulled from his head. When the car dropped to the ground it blew a tyre. The family hid in a bush and after about 30 minutes replaced the tyre and drove to the Mundrabilla roadhouse, where truckie Graham Henley said he also had seen the bright light in the area in his rear-vision mirror. It was hovering above The Basin on the sweeping stretch of road just flickering in and out between the trees,” he said. He said the family was in a state of shock and even their dogs were cowering in the car. “The whole car smelt like bakelite or just like as if you’d blown a fuse,” he said. “A soot was all over the car and there were four dents as though the car had been picked up by a magnet.
“I cannot explain it but all I know is that I saw four very terrified people at 4.45 on Wednesday morning.” Police investigating the incident said the car had a dented roof and was covered with an ash-like material. Ceduna policeman Sergeant Fred Longley said Mrs Knowles and her sons were obviously distressed when they walked into the police station. “They were in a terrible state — even though it was five hours after the incident. Something happened out there. Their car, even after being driven all that way, still had black ash — or dust — over it. Even on the inside. Where did that come from? There’s no soil like that out there, only sand.” And Ceduna officer Sergeant Jim Furnell said the car had dents in the roof “as if something had landed on top”.
The Investigation and Theories Two theories emerged. First, that it was debris from a meteorite, which would explain the ash and the smell. Second, light from a car beam refracted and distorted by warmer air lying over colder air. A research physicist from the University of Wollongong, Glen Moore, told The Advertiser at the time it was probably a rare sighting of a falling, disintegrating meteorite. The Knowles family’s description of a bright light, violent shaking, vehicle damage, smell and the deposit of powder-like material was consistent with the falling disintegration of a carbonaceous meteorite. Bright lights spotted by tuna fishermen in the Great Australian Bight at the same time supported the theory. Nine months later a bus driver reported a similar light near Mundrabilla. Allan Brunt, former regional director of the Bureau of Meteorology, gave a much more banal — but still fascinating — reason: weather. He said on both nights there was warmer air overlying colder air across a wide area of the Nullarbor Plain. Called a temperature inversion, it can refract and bends the light’s path, making it seem higher than it is. It also distorts its shape, colour, size and intensity. Mr Brunt believes the Knowles family saw the refracted light of an approaching truck. “It was the distorted image of its headlights which was so frightening and bizarre,” said Mr Brunt. The rest was “their own imagination whilst in a state of fright”. The tuna fishermen probably saw the refracted light of another ship and the bus driver, Mr Brunt believes, saw Jupiter. He said the flat desert conditions of the Nullarbor Plain make it an almost perfect place for UFO spotting. What about the ash and damage? Analysis of the ash found it wasn’t extraterrestrial. It was from the interior of a burnt-out brake lining. The blown tyre was consistent with a high-speed tyre blowout. The dents on the roof were insignificant, and it couldn’t be established if they were there before the UFO report. Sean said he was doing 200km/h to escape from under the UFO. According to the manufacturer, the Telstar could never reach that speed on the ground. Tests in Adelaide — conducted with the car’s wheels off the ground on jacks — took the speedo to 200km/h. But — and here’s a big but — according to the 1990 UFO Report by Timothy Good, the “dust” was also analysed at the Philips Laboratory by Dr Richard Haines in July 1988. He concluded the dust taken from the interior of the car was different to the dust sampled from the exterior. And he found the interior dust was not from the brake system of the car. Unusually, it possibly contained sodium chloride — or salt — and the atomicelement astatine, which is only produced synthetically. It would havedecayed by the time the Knowles arrived at Ceduna, where the samples were taken, giving just a possible reading. It did contain oxygen, carbon, calcium, silicon, potassium — and fibres of typical pipe insulation. An officer later said just a few specks of dust had been recovered from the car, pointing out it had been driven 500km to Ceduna after the incident and townspeople had swarmed all over it, rendering it almost valueless for forensic evidence. Investigation of the Knowles’ story was difficult for both skeptics and UFO researchers because they were reportedly paid by a TV station, which forced people to mediate with it to speak to the family.
What happened next? Four months after the Knowles’ encounter, they had moved out of their Perth home, saying their former friends and acquaintances thought they were crazy. They said the incident had cost them about $18,000, and they lost the car because they couldn’t meet the repayments. The six weeks away from home took the rest of their savings.
They claim a Wes Johnstone of Multi-Level Advertising took the car and promised to make them rich with promotional appearances. “He told us it could be used in television commercials, a documentary and taken around shopping centres where people would pay to see it,” Faye Knowles said. “But we didn’t get a cent; we don’t even know if the car was promoted at all, and now we have lost it.” The 1984 blue Telstar was auctioned in June 1988 for $7050 to Gary Hancock, of Southside Motors. At the time, The Advertiser reported Mr Johnstone had stored the car for five months but hadn’t been heard of since February.
And Patrick said he was fed up with skeptics who disputed the UFO encounter. “We are trying to forget the sharks who promised us money from our experience — they only wanted to use us,’’ he said. “We just want to get on with our lives, find jobs and settle down somewhere in Perth where people do not ridicule us in the street.”

One of archaeology’s most compelling mysteries is that of the 13 Crystal Skulls. Skulls have been one of the most powerful objects of symbolism in human history, all over the world. Several “perfect” crystal Skulls have been found in parts of Mexico, Central and South America. Together, they form a mystery as enigmatic as the Nazca Lines, the Great Pyramids and Stonehenge.
These skulls are believed to be between 5000 and 35000 years old. During early expeditions, archaeologists were told by locals that the skulls possessed magical powers and healing properties. However, people were unsure as to where they came from, or even why they existed. Some like to believe that these were remains from the lost civilization of Atlantis. Others like to believe these are fakes. And yet another group of psychics believe that these skulls have the capability to enable us to look into the past, present and future. Why would so much work and time be spent on perfecting a human skull made out of one of the hardest substances known to man after diamonds, rock crystal? The cutting of which requires great expertise and precision and the carving and polishing of which is equally time-consuming? In other words, why a skull? Some scientists and sceptics say about these skulls is that they were probably made in the 1800s, as the tools used or required to do such work were not available to the civilisations of the past.
Historians and social anthropologists decided to find out more about the strange skulls. Very soon, they came across an ancient Indian legend saying that there had been thirteen crystal skulls of the Goddess of Death; they had been kept separately from each other under the strict control of pagan priests and special warriors.
Searches for more skulls started; some of them were found in museums and some in private collections not only in the USA, but in Mexico, Brazil, France, Mongolia, and in Tibet. There were more than 13 skulls found. However, not all of them were as perfect as Mitchell-Hedges- was. Very likely, those were just later attempts to create something similar to the original skulls that were believed to have been gifts by God to the people.
The very construction and make of the skulls defies common logic. There are several crystal skulls in existence today around the world.They are :
The Mitchell – Hedges Skull
Perhaps the most famous crystal skull in the world today is the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull, named after a real-life “Indiana Jones” of the 20th Century, British explorer and adventurer F. A. Mitchell-Hedges. The most distinguishable characteristic of this crystal skull is its extraordinary clarity and its detachable jaw, carved from the same piece of quartz as the rest of the skull. This crystal skull was originally called the “Skull of Dunn” after an associate on one of the expeditions to Lubaantun (Belize).
British Crystal Skull and Paris Crystal Skull
They are said to have been bought in the 1890’s by mercenaries in Mexico. One is at the London’s Museum of Mankind and the other is at the Trocadero Museum of Paris.
Mayan Crystal Skull and Amethyst Skull
The Mayan and the Amethyst skull were bought to the United States by a Mayan priest. They were found in Guatemala and Mexico. They were both tested and were found to have also been cut against the axis of the rocks.
Ami Crystal Skull
Its history is unsure, purportedly it was part of a collection of crystal skulls held by the Mexican President Diaz from 1876-1910, but also we have reports the skull was discovered in the Oaxaca area (Mexico) and was hand down generation to generation through an order of Mayan Priests. Now it resides in San Jose.
Aztec Skulls.
The Aztec skull that is at the Museum of Man in London has been said to move on its own inside its glass case and museum staff seem uncomfortable around it.
Rose Quartz Crystal Skull
The rose quartz crystal skull is very much like the Mitchell Hedges skull and was found near the border of Honduras and Guatemala. Its lower jaw is movable
ET Skull
Joke Van Dieten Maasland has a smoky quartz crystal skull, which was discovered in 1906 during the excavation of a Mayan temple in Guatemala. Joke states that the skull has healing powers and helped heal a brain tumour in a book she has written titled, Messengers of Ancient Wisdom. The skull is named E.T. because it has a pointed head and an exaggerated jaw with an overbite, which makes it look like it an alien-shaped head. The rose quartz crystal skull is very much like the Mitchell Hedges skull and was found near the border of Honduras and Guatemala. Its lower jaw is movable
Texas Crystal Skull
Then we have MAX, the Texas skull, which was in the possession of a Tibetan healer, Norbu Chen, who gave it to Carl and Jo Parks against a debt. It was only after Jo found out that the skull was of archaeological interest worldwide that she took it out of her closet and had it examined by an expert. It was indeed found to be ancient.
Synergy Crystal Skull
This skull first came to light in the Western world, when it was acquired over two and a half decades ago by a European businessman and avid hiker, as he traveled around Central and South America. He was given the skull by a very old native man, in a tiny, village, in the Andes, near the borders of Peru, Bolivia and Chile.
Mahasamatman (the name of an Indian Prince) is one of the lesser known crystal skulls, yet it is one of the most activated crystal skulls.
Sha-Na-Ra, Jaguar Man and the Rainbow Skull
The Sha-Na-Ra, Jaguar Man and Rainbow skulls have all been unearthed at ancient sites according to researchers.
Said to have ancient origins, Amar is one the largest known old crystal skulls, at 22 lbs, and is made of Clear Quartz (with a slight Smoky tint). Amar embodies the energies of love and compassion, just as the Dalai Lama does.
Smithsonian Crystal Skull
The crystal skull sought by Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones in the latest silver-screen installment of the archaeologist’s over-the-top adventures is, of course, a movie prop—masquerading as an ancient artifact from pre-Columbian Central America.
Are these skulls really the ancient showcases of human wisdom and hold powerful knowledge or as scientists say, just clever fakes? But the only thing is that a “fake” is a replica of the original. And whoever made these bafflingly mysterious crystal skulls and for whatever purpose, has left a big question, the answer to which is really not ‘crystal’ clear.
A new picture of Pluto's surface shows evidence of active geology and mountains comparable to the Rockies.
Pluto has mountains made of ice that are as high as those in the Rockies, images from the New Horizons probe reveal.
They also show signs of geological activity on Pluto and its moon Charon.
On Wednesday, scientists presented the first pictures acquired by the New Horizons probe during its historic flyby of the dwarf planet.
The team has also named the prominent heart-shaped region on Pluto after the world's discoverer Clyde Tombaugh.
The spacecraft sped past the dwarf planet on Tuesday, getting as close as 12,500km and grabbing a huge volume of data.
Mission scientist John Spencer told journalists that the first close-up image of Pluto's surface showed a terrain that had been resurfaced by some geological process - such as volcanism - within the last 100 million years.
"We have not found a single impact crater on this image. This means it must be a very young surface," he said.
This active geology needs some source of heat. Previously, such activity has only been seen on icy moons, where it can be explained by "tidal heating" caused by gravitational interactions with a large host planet.
"You do not need tidal heating to power geological activity on icy worlds. That's a really important discovery we just made this morning," said Dr Spencer.
Alan Stern, the mission's chief scientist commented: "We now have an isolated, small planet that's showing activity after 4.5 billion years."
Prof Stern said the discovery would "send a lot of geophysicists back to the drawing boards".
This same image shows mountains at the edge of the heart-like region that are up to 11,000ft (3,300m) high and which team members compared to North America's Rocky Mountains.
The probe also captured detailed images of Pluto's moon Charon
John Spencer said the relatively thin coating of methane, carbon monoxide and nitrogen ice on Pluto's surface was not strong enough to form mountains, so they were probably composed of Pluto's water-ice bedrock.
"Water-ice at Pluto temperatures is strong enough to hold up big mountains," he said.
The thin frosting of nitrogen and other volatiles on top of water-ice bedrock was intriguing, said Prof Stern, because Pluto's tenuous, mainly nitrogen atmosphere was constantly being lost to space.
He recently co-authored an academic study with colleague Dr Kelsi Singer making some predictions based on such a scenario.
"What Kelsi and I predicted was that if we saw steep (water-ice) topography on Pluto with only a volatile veneer, there must be internal activity that's dredging nitrogen up through cryo-volcanism or geysers or some other process that's active into the present on this planet," the mission's chief scientist explained.
"We haven't found geysers and we haven't found cryovolcanoes, but this is very strong evidence that will send us looking."
In memoriam
Scientists have named the heart-shaped region Tombaugh Regio, after the astronomer who discovered Pluto in 1930.
The new, close-up image of Charon has revealed a chasm 4-6 miles deep and also further evidence of active resurfacing.
"Originally I thought Charon might have an ancient terrain covered in craters... it just blew our socks off when we had the new image," said Dr Cathy Olkin.
"Going from the north-east to the south-west is a series of troughs and cliffs...they extend about 600 miles across the [moon]. It's a huge area and it could be down to internal processing."
A striking dark region at the moon's pole may be a thin veneer on top of redder material, she added. It has been informally named Mordor, after the region in the fictional land of Middle Earth in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings books.
The first well resolved picture of Pluto's small moon Hydra reveals an elongated body with a surface predominantly made of water-ice. In addition, scientists have come up with a good estimate for its size: 43km by 33km.
"Hydra is not a planet," team member Hal Weaver joked.

The snap contains only a few pixels because the moon is so small and distant; New Horizons took the shot from a distance of 400,000 miles (650,000km).
The pictures were sent back to Earth during the course of two data downlinks on Wednesday.
Significantly, all these images are at a much higher resolution than anything we have seen so far.
The mission team has told New Horizons this week to send down only a small fraction of the total data it carries.
Part of the reason is that the probe continues to do science, observing Pluto from its night side.
The intention is to keep looking at it for about two more full rotations, or 12 Earth days.
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Mankind's first close-up look at Pluto did not disappoint Wednesday: The pictures showed ice mountains on Pluto about as high as the Rockies and chasms on its big moon Charon that appear six times deeper than the Grand Canyon.
Especially astonishing to scientists was the total absence of impact craters in a zoom-in shot of one rugged slice of Pluto. They said that suggests that Pluto is geologically active even now and is being sculpted not by collisions with cosmic debris but by its internal heat.
Breathtaking in their clarity, the long-awaited images were unveiled in Laurel, Maryland, home to mission operations for NASA's New Horizons, the unmanned spacecraft that paid a history-making flyby visit to the dwarf planet on Tuesday after a journey of 9½ years and 3 billion miles.
Added Lowell Observatory's Will Grundy: "This is what we came for."
"This exceeds what we came for," corrected deputy project scientist Cathy Olkin.
As a tribute to Pluto's discoverer, Stern and his team named the bright heart-shaped area on the surface of Pluto the Tombaugh Reggio, in honor of American astronomer Clyde Tombaugh, who spied the frozen, faraway world on the edge of the solar system in 1930.
"Who would have supposed that there were ice mountains?" project scientist Hal Weaver said. "It's just blowing my mind."
Spencer called it "just astonishing" that the first close-up picture of Pluto didn't have a single impact crater on it. Stern noted that the findings suggesting a geologically active interior are going to "send a lot of geophysicists back to the drawing boards."
The heat that appears to be shaping Pluto may be coming from the decay of radioactive material normally found in planetary bodies, the scientists said. Or it could be coming from energy released by the gradual freezing of an underground ocean.
As for Charon, about half the size of Pluto, its canyons look to be 3 miles to 6 miles deep and are part of a cluster of troughs and cliffs stretching 600 miles, or about twice the length of the Grand Canyon, scientists said.
The Charon photo was taken Monday. The Pluto picture was shot just 1½ hours before the spacecraft's moment of closest approach. New Horizons swept to within 7,700 miles of Pluto during its flyby. It is now 1 million miles beyond it.
Up until this week, the best pictures of Pluto were taken by the Hubble Telescope, and they were blurry, pixelated images.
Scientists promised even better pictures for the next news briefing on Friday.

U.I.P SUMMARY
One thing is for sure, not all ET Beings are bad and not all are good!(a bit like Human Beings!) It is clear that there are countless, possibly endless amount of species out there in the Infinite Universe, and I guess the different species have their very own motivations for us to make many generalizations.
Out there, in the vastness of ‘unknown’ there is an entire universe of hominoid beings waiting for us to end the planetary secrecy and take our place within the galactic community. October 24, 1989 - A sailor reports about the UFO sighting he had while in the Navy. "I was assigned to USS Memphis (SSN-698), Homeport - Titusville, FL. (Cape Canaveral.)
Our mission was Special Assignments which meant we protected the Space Program. We would go to sea and patrol while the shuttle was on the pad.
On October 24 and 25, 1989, my ship was on patrol about 150 miles of the Florida coast. We were cruising at about 500 feet when the submarine started experiencing electronics problems.
The ship was malfunctioning, our tanks were blowing out of control, we were losing navigation ability and the communications area was totally lost.
We went to all stop and tried to access what was happening. The controls in the reactor area started to malfunction. This presented a serious danger to our safety, so the captain ordered us to shut down the reactor, surface and go to diesel motors.
When the ship surfaced I went to my watch station. The ship was still experiencing electronic difficulties but the mechanical devices such as diesel engines, cook stoves, and turbines were fine.
It was raining and the entire sky was red like a red neon sign.
I saw a large inverted V-shaped UFO off the port side. The executive officer told me to stand fast and he would speak to the captain. In a minute, the captain appeared on the tower and asked me for a distance to the craft.
The laser range finder determined the closest point was 200 meters, and the farthest point was 1,000 meters off the port. The UFO was not perpendicular to our ship but at about a 45' angle.
This huge vessel was over a half mile across. The UFO made a half circle around our ship then passed across the stern causing our electronics systems to go crazy.
We had permanent damage in communications and the sonar room. As the craft flew over the stern, I could see the rain stop under its red glow.
The water seemed to rise almost a foot as the UFO passed over silently. When the UFO finished its swing across the stern it paused - the sky got brighter red and it simply moved off at tremendous speed inside 15 seconds.
When the UFO left, our boat returned to normal with the exception of the radio and sonar. We did a quick system check and the captain ordered us to return to reactor power and get underway.
The captain took two petty officers, the executive officer, and myself into the wardroom. He told us to not spread any rumors until we had a chance to talk to Commander Submarine Fleet - Atlantic.
We reached port in about 7 hours where I was taken into "protective custody."
Two enlisted men and myself agreed we had witnessed a real UFO. I was the one who shot it with a laser range finder, so I was the only one that had its exact sizes. I shot that vessel as it hovered and I got solid readings, not spotty like I would on debris.
We were in holding for about three hours when an officer from the Air Force arrived and gave us a line of bull about an exploding weather satellite.
The Navy then transferred virtually everyone on the crew to new assignments.
This included the captain, the executive officer and the entire crew. They were split up which almost never happens unless one of them gets a promotion or a new command, neither of which happened.
The military just split up a 4 year team. I was watching a program tonight that gave me the courage to share it.

A UFO has been spotted hovering over Tjörnin in Downtown Reykjavík.
Initially seen on the LiveFromIceland video feed, the object has been violently pulsating up and down above the pond for what some eyewitnesses say has been “minutes”.
The object in question allegedly has spider-like qualities, with a concave, aerodynamic top, and long, thin tendrils. It appears to be moving too fast for the human eye to see clearly, presumably because human optics have not developed to a stage where we can process extraterrestrial photons. Alternative interpretations have claimed it is a rift portal, with an exact duplicate hovering above a puddle in Cardiff, Wales.
Despite the terror and calamity, downtown Reykjavík is remaining calm. Religious groups are already hailing the apparition as a sign of The Second Coming, while Area 51 truthers are standing around, arms folded, with smug looks on their faces.
Although City Hall could not be reached for comment, one duck at the scene calmly told us, “quack!”
UPDATE: Just a moment ago, the UFO began “reaching” for some of the trees using its tendrils. Its movements appear organic. A giant seabird resembling the “Fenghuang” bird of ancient Chinese legend attempted to intervene, but could not approach the object due to what one eyewitness called its “forcefield”-like qualities. Moments later, six jeeps were spotted heading down Lækjargata on the same feed – away from the invader.

Elle abrite également un musée, dans lequel les éléments de la culture Chachapoyas sont préservés.
Une série de cascades remarquables peut être atteinte en partant de Chachapoyas. Celles à Gojta chutent de 771m, ce qui en fait les troisième plus élevées dans le monde, après la chute de l'Ange du Venezuela et celle de la Tugela en Afrique du Sud. Les chutes sont trouvées dans une vallée remplie de forêts denses, à proximité de la propriété et le site de Cocachimba. Les 22 chutes d'eau distinctes ne peuvent être atteintes qu'à pied, par l'intermédiaire d'un complexe de sentiers qui longent la rivière, plongent dans la forêt et qui émergent à nouveau en pleine terre. Il n'y a aucun signe que ce soit, et un guide local est essentiel. Leurs services vous coûtera environ 10 $ US pour un groupe de taille modeste. On peut voyager à dos de mulet, ce qui prend environ 40 minutes pour atteindre les chutes, ou à pied, ce qui est susceptible de prendre au moins deux fois plus de temps. Il est sage de prévoir trois heures pour un retour à pied.
La région est très riche en cascades. Le village de Luya possède les chutes de Wanglik, qui sont présentés ci-dessus. Il y a des ruines attribuées à l'Inca, construites en pisé et situées dans des niches de la falaise. Un exemple est présenté ci-dessus, et un autre de la même construction est montré ci-dessous. Les murs courbes avaient certainement des toits de chaume, car c'est une conception que les populations locales utilisent encore pour des structures mineures (dépendances). Ce site a été probablement utilisé par les éleveurs pendant la saison humide.
La petite colonie de San Carlos (13 km par la route San Ruiz) est le début de trois heures de marche à travers la campagne humide intéressante et beaucoup qui mène aux chutes de Shinata. L'image (ci-dessous) montre ce que sont les profondeurs de la saison sèche, mais elles sont dit être extraordinaires après les grandes pluies. On peut voir l'ampleur des chutes (pendant la saison des pluies) grâce aux zones de roches balayées de toute végétation:
Une grande partie du paysage local est sculpté à partir des dépôts de calcaire de mille mètres d'épaisseur. Ces falaises sont criblées de systèmes de grottes non identifiées et inexplorées. Un tel système, qui est facilement accessible, se trouve à Lamud, et est appelé La Caverna de Quiocta. Cette caverne a une entrée de cinq mètres et se prolonge au moins sur un demi-kilomètre à flanc de colline. Elle a des formations de calcaires exceptionnelles, et l'image montre les stalactites et d'autres formes qui peuvent être vues à l'intérieur d'elle. Il y a aussi des tombes incas. Lamud est à 37 km de Chachapoyas, au nord de la ville. (Voir la carte ci-dessus.) Cela peut être atteint par les transports publics en 2 heures environ. Les grottes peuvent être atteintes en marchant pendant environ 90 minutes de Lamud, ou en prenant un taxi local pour le voyage de vingt minutes puis en marchant pendant un bref passage jusqu'à l'entrée de la grotte. Au sud, le site de Leymebamba lui-même a un certain nombre de petits sites peu connus. Il est intéressant pour ses peintures rupestres. Ces grottes contiennent des tombes, qui datent de la période inca. Tandis que les peintures n'ont pas été étudiées formellement, il est généralement admis qu'elles datent de beaucoup plus tôt. D'autres caractéristiques intéressantes sont un peu plus loin de Chachapoyas. Cochabamba est une autre ancienne colonie, rénovée sous l'Inca Tupac Yupanqui vers environ 1475. Elle se trouve sur la route qui mène de Chachapoyas vers Cajamarca. Le point intéressant est Pusac, à 224 km de Chachapoyas :
Le paysage est très beau, riche en papillons et orchidées. Les populations locales voient peu d'étrangers, et - ce qui est typique du nord du Pérou - elles sont généralement ouvertes et accueillantes. La ruine est très typique d'une construction provinciale Inca. Les grands blocs de façade sont joints irrégulièrement mais précis. Les portes rétrécissent vers le haut pour un linteau plat et massif. On ne sait rien à propos de ce site, qui n'a jamais été fouillé ou bien daté. Il pourrait bien avoir été une aire de repos de passage sur l'un des nombreux chemins qui relient l'ensemble de l'empire Inca.
Ceux qui sont intéressés par l'archéologie sont invités à noter que les grandes universités péruviennes sont extrêmement désireuses de travailler avec des promoteurs/sponsors afin de procéder aux vérifications. La même région contient l'endroit parsemé de tombes extraordinaires de Karajía, qui ont été découvertes dans la dernière décennie. Elles datent de la culture Chachapoyas, qui a duré de 1100 à 1300 AD. Les morts ont été placés dans - ou plus correctement, construit sur -, des cercueils verticaux de 3m de hauteur d'argilo-bambou qui sont placés dans des niches, des grottes ou des rebords peu profonds qui donnent sur la rivière Utcubamba, les lacs et autres sites de la beauté naturelle de la région. Ces sépultures sont réunies dans des groupes de quatre à huit, reflétant peut-être des familles. Les cercueils ont une apparence presque de caractéristiques africaines, et ont été décorés avec de la chaux blanche, de l'ocre rouge et du charbon. Ils sont connues localement comme des Purunmachos, du quechua pour ancien (purun) et Espagnol pour homme (macho), ancien homme.
#PlutoFlyBy Na een ruimtemissie van bijna 10 jaar is gisteren de sonde New Horizons rakelings langs Pluto gepasseerd. Het beeld dat de sonde kon maken heeft nu de Aarde bereikt.
De sonde New Horizons voerde een vlucht uit op ongeveer 12.400 kilometer van Pluto, wat in kosmische termen dus een korte afstand is. Het was meteen de eerste keer dat Pluto een bezoek kreeg van een ruimtetuig dat afkomstig is van de Aarde.
De in 2006 door de Nasa gelanceerde sonde heeft ongeveer vijf miljard kilometer afgelegd vooraleer ze bij de ex-planeet aankwam. New Horizons, 2,5 meter groot en 480 kilo dik, moet nagaan hoe Pluto en zijn manen eruitzien.

July 19, 1952: Perhaps the most amazing UFO incident, and well documented, occurred in our nation's capital. Seven objects were seen on radar. The air traffic controllers knew something was odd. The movements were impossible by current aircraft standards. Another capital area traffic control tower also confirmed the objects. Peering our the window of the tower, a controlled reported seeing a bright orange light. Then, something horrible happened. Seven objects appeared and moved over the White House. Andrews Air Force Base 10 miles away was called. Although Andrews AFB didn't report anything on radar, an airman looked out the window to see an orange ball of fire with a tail. Suddenly, the object took off at an unbelievable speed. At that time, a controller at National reported a large orange disk. Then, 6 fast moving white tailless objects were seen. One sergeant reported an orange red light that would stay still, then move in impossible positions and speeds. An object hovered over the radar beacon. Then, all 3 centers tracking it said it vanished. After much cat and mouse behavior, the disks were last seen 6 hours after they first arrived, all of them turning skyward and flashing away with great speed. One week later, a National Airline stewardess saw objects above her plane. Soon, radar centers neraby were watching the objects. They were reported to be moving at unusually high speed. The sightings on radar ended around sunrise and pilots in fighter jets saw the light, but were unable to keep up with it. The military (of course) explained them as meteors or stars. This remains one of the most professionally witnessed, documented and threatening encounters with the unknown in our nation's history.

Odd UFO Fleet Filmed During Storm—Wait, Is it Recharging?
This eerie video was recently shot in Mexico and it shows what appears to be a giant UFO or a fleet of UFOs flying in formation during a lightning storm. Could they be replenishing their energy levels?
The complexity and advanced technology of extraterrestrial craft pretty much guarantees they either use an exotic form of energy or have the ability to absorb energy from their surroundings. We’ve seen UFOs absorbing water from lakes, giant spaceships near our Sun, presumably filling up, and flying saucers diving straight into Earth’s volcanoes.
Should our assumption that UFOs are advanced alien ships be correct, they could just as well harness the thermal energy available inside our planet’s mantle as well as the sun’s electromagnetism and radiance. And since we’re in the land of hypotheses, it wouldn’t be impossible for them to exploit the immense electrostatic discharges during a lightning storm.
This video is unique given the fact that it is filmed in decent enough quality and doesn’t seem to have been tampered with. If the UFOs are computer generated, whoever created the video did a good job. The objects are not placed on top of the background. They are consistent with the resolution of the video and appear to be inside the clouds.
Another hint towards the authenticity of the video and the presence of the unidentified objects is the fact that they seem to interact with the environment. If you watch closely, at 0:42-0:43, the objects seem to reflect the lightning strikes, suggesting they are reflective to some degree. The same effect can be observed multiple times throughout the video.
But the most intriguing aspect can be seen at 1:19, when a particularly bright lightning flash lights up the sky. For a split second, it looks like the strange array of lights isn’t a UFO fleet, but one enormous mother ship.
This object(s) at the center of this sighting is/are very similar to the infamous Phoenix Lights of 1997, both in structure and behavior. But while skeptics have long claimed that illumination flares were responsible for the Phoenix incident, the same explanation cannot be forced here. Military exercises that require illumination flares wouldn’t take place during a storm and lightning strikes wouldn’t make them shine brighter.
Examination of the video suggests the presence of one large metallic UFO or a fleet of smaller flying saucers.
Mysterious Objects Fall From the Sky in Argentina: Are They UFO Fragments?
Did a flying saucer explode in the sky over South America? Scared residents of a small Argentinian town seem to think so, and they have evidence to support their fears.
The peaceful town of Berrotarán in the province of Cordoba is home to almost 7,000 people. You can imagine the commotion rapidly spreading from home to home as mysterious fragments started raining down from the skies, following a loud explosion that was heard by everyone.
Some homeowners were lucky (unlucky?) enough to have found these strange shards in their backyards and now they’re concerned for the safety of their families. Miguel Coranti is one of the first to discover the fallen fragments:
“We live a couple of blocks away from the town center of Berrotarán and we found almost all of the objects. These things are heavy, thick and strange, like nothing we had ever seen before. We are fortunate that these objects didn’t cause any damage to our home.”
The fragments seem to be made up of some type of hard, glass-like substance. Dense and compact, the glass looks like it’s been subjected to very high pressures. On the surface, the objects are covered in a thin protective layer. What could they be?
Our aircraft and satellites are built using light materials, not dense glass. Therefore, it seems the fragments couldn’t have resulted from a collision between man-made objects. An extraterrestrial origin hypothesis would fit this scenario if it weren’t for a small detail: inscriptions. Unfortunately for all UFO enthusiasts out there, the inscriptions feature our alphabet, proving the debris resulted from the explosion of something made by humans.
As you can see from the photo, the fragments are clearly marked “B5.” Unless aliens use the same symbols we do, these chunks of glass came from an object of earthly origins.
The loud explosion that preceded the falling debris was heard all over the region and not just over the small town, suggesting the incident occurred at a high altitude. People in the area are irritated and concerned that no-one has offered an explanation yet.

The Nazca Plateau in Peru contains two dozen new geoglyphs that predate by two centuries the famous monkey, spider and hummingbird listed at the UNESCO World Heritage site.
Almost invisible on the surface, the images were captured by researchers from the University of Yamagata in Japan thanks to 3-D scans of the ground a mile north of the city of Nazca.
The team discovered 24 geoglyphs of animals, “some of which probably depict Andean native camelid, llamas,” the researchers said in a press release.
The number of images adds to the 17 geoglyphs of similar style unearthed in the adjacent area by the same team last year, stretching the discovery to 41 ancient outlines.
“All these geoglyphs were drawn on the slopes of the hill, to make them clearly visible,” team leader Masato Sakai said.
Ranging from around 16 feet to 66 feet tall, the images are estimated to date back to 400 B.C. to 200 B.C. The dating makes them earlier versions of the motifs previously found on the plateau, which are believed to have been created between 400 A.D. and 650 A.D.
According to Sakai, the newly found geoglyphs feature a different technique compared to the most famous Nazca lines.
He explained the Nazca Pampa, the arid region of Peru between the Andes and the coast, is covered with black oxidized pebbles. White ground lies underneath.
“If you remove the surface pebbles along lines of interest, white lines emerge. This technique was employed to draw the contours of the most famous animal figures,” Sakai told Discovery News.
On the contrary, Sakai noted that to draw the newly discovered figures of llama and other animals, the Nazca people removed the surface pebbles with the shape of the animals, so that white ground filled their bodies.
Mostly known for their ability of carving in the desert hundreds of geometric lines and images of animals and birds that are best viewed from the air, the Nazca flourished in Peru between the first century B.C. and the fifth century A.D. and slid into oblivion by the time the Inca Empire rose to dominate the Andes.
Their civilization was also obsessed over trophy heads. Indeed, they boasted the largest collection of human heads in the Andes region of South America.
According to Sakai, the discovery is particularly important as there is no other site on the Nazca Plateau that boasts a concentration of 41 geoglyphs.
“Yet they are in danger of being destroyed by the recent expansion of urban areas without being recognized as geoglyphs,” Sakai said.
“It is important to share this information with local people and government to preserve them,” he added.

Het Nazca-plateau in Peru blijkt 24 nieuwe geogliefen te bevatten die zo’n 200 jaar ouder zijn dan de oorspronkelijke Nazcalijnen. De afbeeldingen, die aan het oppervlak nauwelijks zijn te zien, zijn ontdekt door onderzoekers van de Universiteit van Yamagata in Japan. Zij maakten even ten noorden van de stad Nazca 3D-scans van de bodem.
Het team ontdekte 24 geogliefen van dieren, waarvan sommige lijken op kameelachtigen en lama’s, zo lieten de onderzoekers weten in een persverklaring. Afgelopen jaar ontdekte het team in een nabijgelegen gebied ook al 17 geogliefen.
“Al deze geogliefen zijn op hellingen van de heuvel getekend om ze duidelijk zichtbaar te maken,” zei hoofdonderzoeker Masato Sakai. De afbeeldingen zijn tussen de 5 en 20 meter groot en dateren van 400 tot 200 voor Christus.
Sakai waarschuwde dat de geogliefen dreigen te worden vernietigd als gevolg van de recente stedelijke uitbreiding. “Het is belangrijk deze informatie met de lokale bevolking en de overheid te delen om ze te behouden,” voegde hij toe.
De enorme afbeeldingen in het zuiden van Peru zijn alleen te zien vanuit de lucht. Waarom het toenmalige Nazca-volk de lijnen trok, is voor archeologen één van de grootste mysteries ter wereld. Het plateau werd in 1994 uitgeroepen tot werelderfgoed.

Wanneer buitenaardsen onze planeet bezoeken dan is het ook logisch dat ze ergens op onze aarde één of meerdere plekken hebben waar ze zich ophouden.
Hoewel we het misschien niet met honderd procent zekerheid weten, toch zijn er aanwijzingen om te bepalen waar die buitenaardse basis zich dan bevinden.
Vaak zijn dat plaatsen waar door argeloze toeschouwers talloze keren vreemde objecten in de lucht worden waargenomen.
We spreken dan over UFO hotspots en één van die plekken is ongetwijfeld een deel van de kust van het Amerikaanse Californië.
Het betreft een gigantische onderwateringang net voor de kust van Malibu bij wat men noemt Point Dume. Het is een soort plateaustructuur van ongeveer 2,2 bij 4 kilometer. Het bevindt zich op een afstand van precies 6,66 mijl (10,7 kilometer) vanaf de kust.
De ruimte tussen de pilaren is 837 meter en de hoogte 192 meter. Het dak van het plateau is 150 meter dik en lijkt zelfs bestand tegen nucleaire explosies. Het geheel bevindt zich op een diepte van 450 meter onderwater.
De streek rond Malibu is al jarenlang een “hotspot” voor UFO’s en ook doen al die tijd al verhalen de ronde over een ondergrondse buitenaardse basis voor de kust. Is dit dan misschien eindelijk de oplossing voor dit raadsel?
Naast Malibu is er vlak bij nog een plek waarover veel wordt gespeculeerd als een mogelijke buitenaardse basis. Dat betreft een locatie net voor de kust van Long Beach, hemelsbreed minder dan 100 kilometer verwijderd van Malibu.
In Long Beach kan je dus het volgende overkomen zoals te zien in de video hieronder. Een man rijdt naar huis en ziet ineens boven zijn hoofd een “vloot van ufo’s”.
Deze video is enkele dagen geleden gemaakt en duidelijk is daarop een formatie of squadron van vier UFO’s te zien:
Een formatie die veel lijkt op wat een andere inwoner iets eerder filmde. In april werd een soort vergelijkbare opname gemaakt boven het strand van Long Beach.
Eigenlijk is men in Long Beach en omstreken al zo gewend aan UFO's dat ze zelfs fungeren als achtergrond in nieuwsuitzendingen van het lokale televisiestation:
In de jaren tachtig was een man onderweg in zijn zeilboot tussen de eilanden Santa Barbara en Santa Cruz. Beide eilanden liggen net voor de kust bij Long Beach.
Het was een mistige dag en opeens zag hij een vreemd groen fluorescerend licht voor hem. Omdat hij dacht dat het een ander schip was die felle lichten gebruikte om haar weg door de mist te vinden, wachtte hij tot de ander zou passeren.
Toen het licht dichterbij kwam slaagde hij er niet in om details te ontwaren. Toch was het licht heel dichtbij en kwam direct op zijn boot af. De man vertelde later: “Ik had eindelijk in de gaten dat dit domme ding zich onderwater bevond”.
De man zag vervolgens dit verlichte object onder zijn boot passeren en hij schatte dat het zich ongeveer 30 meter onder hem bevond.
Iemand die veel onderzoek heeft gedaan naar buitenaardse bases voor de kust van Californië is oud Mufon onderzoeker Preston Dennett.
Hij zegt onder andere het volgende:
Uit de beschikbare rapporten van UFO waarnemingen blijkt dat er onevenredig veel meldingen worden gemaakt uit deze bepaalde kuststreek van Californië. In de meeste gevallen worden ze enkele honderden meters of minder boven het wateroppervlak waargenomen. Het is daarom aannemelijk om te speculeren dat deze objecten hier in en uit het water reizen.
Vervolgens heeft hij een lijst met waarnemingen die precies overeenkomen. Getuigen die sinds de jaren vijftig met eigen ogen UFO’s in het water zien verdwijnen of er weer uit tevoorschijn zien komen.
Zoals het geval was op 15 januari 1956 toen een grote groep inwoners van Redondo Beach een groot gloeiend object uit de lucht zagen komen wat vervolgens zo’n 100 meter uit de kust op het water bleef drijven.
Tientallen getuigen waren daar die avond aanwezig, inclusief beveiligingspersoneel en politiemensen.
Zo zijn er door de jaren heen talloze verhalen van mensen die vreemde objecten hebben zien verschijnen uit het water, ze onder water hebben waargenomen of hebben zien opstijgen vanuit het water.
Aangezien er geen menselijke activiteiten bekend zijn die dit evenaren, blijft er slechts één mogelijkheid over. Dat is dat er zich minimaal één en wellicht meerdere buitenaardse basis voor de Amerikaanse kust bevinden.
