“This statue is very similar in size and shape to the famous “woman figure,” on Mars which has actually a woman half sitting, a man laying in front of her on the ground and a boy figure which is ahead of them, but mostly covered in Mars dust and sand,” says Scott Waring, author of UFO Sightings Daily.
In 2011 NASA posted a photograph (PIA10216) in which the woman figure was found. It was taken by the Mars Spirit Rover on the NASA website and one in which bloggers around the world began scanning carefully in order to catch anything that NASA may have accidentally let slip through. To everyones amazement some anonymous person in Asia did and posted it on the Internet causing widespread excitement over the possibilities of life existing on Mars.

MANY WITNESS STRANGE LIGHTS OVER CARTERET NEW JERSEY
JULY 15, 2001 ….. CARTERET NEW JERSEY
A drowsy mother in Carteret saw the flickering golden lights in the sky and ran for her camera. A hard-boiled Navy veteran traveling the New Jersey Turnpike spotted the slow-moving, bright-yellow V-formation and pulled his car to the shoulder to get a better look. Police officers on patrol at 12:40 a.m. yesterday couldn’t believe their eyes. Within the hour, Carteret police dispatchers said they heard from at least 15 callers reporting strange orange flares blazing high above the Arthur Kill. The eerie glow had people at backyard barbecues mesmerized, with heads upturned and mouths agape. Almost 75 vehicles pulled over on the New Jersey Turnpike to watch the spectacle. But no one seems to know what caused the luminous vision. Police could not identify the source of the lights, and Newark International Airport authorities reported no unusual flight patterns. A meteorologist with the National Weather Service said nothing in the atmosphere would have caused the bright disturbance, and an airman at McGuire Air Force Base said none of their military planes were in the air at that hour. Whatever it was that lit up the sky above Carteret was by all accounts weird.
”It wasn’t fireworks, and it couldn’t have been a hot-air balloon, not at night near the airfield,” said Steven Vannoy, who pulled over on the turnpike with his girlfriend on their way home to Perth Amboy. “What we saw last night qualifies as a UFO. It was an unidentifiable flying object.” A Carteret police sergeant on duty called the State Police and neighboring departments in Linden and Woodbridge to find out what was causing the strange glow, but he said none had received reports of the lights. Bob Wanton, a National Weather Service meteorologist in Mount Holly, had no explanation for the lights. “Weatherwise, there was nothing that would have caused it,” he said. The aurora borealis, a spectacular show of light high in the northern hemisphere, is seldom visible in New Jersey, said Wanton. The lights normally appear in the winter, he said. “It’s very unusual for the northern lights to come down this far, especially at this time of year,” he said.
On Staten Island, a spokeswoman for the 123rd precinct in the Tottenville section suggested the display might have come from a nightclub on Arthur Kill Road that frequently uses search lights for promotions. The club had been ordered closed by a judge on July 11 and its phone was disconnected yesterday. Airman First Class Andre Steverson said no planes from McGuire Air Force Base were flying at that time. An operations manager at Newark International Airport said there were no reports of unusual activity and said the lights “could have been almost anything,” from a group of military helicopters on flight exercises to a blimp. Maybe, said David Stich, who saw the bursts of light from his back yard in Carteret. But those flares didn’t look to him like spotlights or anything else he could recognize. ”I never in my life saw anything like it,” said Stich, a lifelong Carteret resident accustomed to the roar and flight path of aircraft from Newark. He compared the lights to volleyballs, dwarfing the surrounding stars, and said they clearly moved in formation. Around the corner, Pam Russell’s husband woke her to see the show. She saw a diamond-shaped pattern in the sky and noticed smaller lights leading the pack and bringing up the rear. ”I ran for my camera,” said Russell. “But they disappeared.” Afterward, she said, the skies were dark and silent.
Location: Chula Vista, California Date: March 3 2010 Time: 13:30 A man was in his backyard mowing the lawn when just by happenstance he caught something out the corner of his eye. He looked out to see what he immediately called a ‘flying man’. He looked at it for several seconds and yelled to his brother who was working with him to come quickly and see this thing. His brother ignored him (as it happens often!). However he ran over and dragged his brother to the spot. His brother could not see it and walked away. The witness described the strange flying humanoid as follows: Viewed from its left side and below, it was a 7’ tall man in a copper colored fitted shell that was a metallic looking reflective material. There was a bright sunshine and mostly blue sky. The flyer was ascending at a 35 degree incline at walking speed. From its elevation it might have left the ground 30 seconds prior. He estimates it was eight feet away at about 30’ elevation (right over a telephone pole he used for distance) and he had a clear unimpeded view. The flyer had a forward tilt, “ski jumper attitude” and was climbing slowly and silently. The shape was immediately recognizable as a man wrapped in an aerodynamic shell. The hooded head and shoulders were smoothed together, the chest was large, 3’ plus across. It tapered down to what was obviously feet pointing down. Strangely the main witness had never heard about the flying humanoids and now believes his brother actually saw something, since he was definitely worked up, instantly.
Location: Linha Bela Vista, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil Date: December 9 1954 Time: evening Farmer Olmira da Costa e Rosa was cultivating his crops of French beans and maize at this place, 2 ½ miles from Venancio Aires, when he heard something ‘like a sewing machine’, and animals in a nearby field panicked. He then saw an object, shaped like a bowl or explorer’s hat, cream colored and enveloped in a smoky haze. It was hovering just off the ground, and three strange looking men were there, one inside the craft, one examining a barbed-wire fence, and one close to the farmer. In astonishment the farmer dropped his hoe, and the man smiled, approached, picked up the hoe, examined it carefully and handed it back to him. He then bent down plucked a few plants and walked back towards the machine, with the others. The craft rose slowly to about thirty feet, then accelerated, and flashed away towards the west at high speed. The farmer, almost completely illiterate, had never heard of ‘flying saucers’. He was able to study these men at close range and in great detail. They were of medium height, broad-shouldered, with long blond hair blowing in the wind. With their extremely pale skin and slanted eyes, they were not normal looking by Earth standards. Their clothing consisted of light brown coverall garments fastened to their shoes, which were heelless. He concluded that they must be aviators from some foreign country.

Location: Over Kentucky Date: on or about April 15 1997 Time: 1925 The main witness and a friend were flying machined parts from his friend’s company to Dyersburg Tennessee. They rented a Cessna 172 and flew straight through with no problem. In the flight office prior to their return flight they were watching a line of thunderstorms moving west to east and trying to decide when it would be safe to depart. As the line moved through they decided to take off and fly to the backside of the storms heading north while the storms moved off. The witness wrote their departure time on the edge of the flight map as approximate 2010. They were, what he believed to be an hour and a half into their flight when, as they flew north (he was piloting the aircraft and his friend was tending to the navigation) they began to encounter clouding conditions and zero visibility. He immediately changed their heading 180 degrees. A moment later (or so it seemed) his friend said to the witness, “What time have you got?” The witness immediately felt as though he had just been awoken. He was trying to gather his thoughts when his friend said, “Hey, your watch is stopped” He looked at his wrist watch and it was stopped at 1925, which alarmed him as he had used it earlier to check their departure time. He looked at all four gauges and they were not functioning either. His friend had a laptop navigational device that was not working either. They were both speechless for a short time. They were now in clear air and found a private airstrip to set down at. Getting their bearings again and with all the equipment back up and running (watch included, though still an hour and a half behind) they flew back to Dayton International with no further incidents. They didn’t discuss it much after and the witness’s friend had a massive heart attack a few weeks later and died. The main witness soon began drawing exotic landscapes after the incident.
HC addendum Source: MUFON Type: X Comments: An X-type incident is one which is difficult to categorize, but might include, missing time, apparent time slips, severe after affects, and other extremely bizarre details. It appears that the men were involved in some type of time dislocation anomaly or perhaps it is something as simple as ‘an unexplored abduction event’.
Location: Adirondack Mountains, New York Date: April 18 2004 Time: night The witnesses (including a retired police officer) were in upstate New York on a fishing expedition. They had just come in form the fishing boat and were tying it to the dock. While the main witness was tying down his corner he thought he saw a blue light flash across the lake. He looked up and just as he did he noticed that his two friends looked up as well. The color of the flash reminded him of those “black lights” that are popular with kids, and it appeared to be about the size of a softball tossed into the air. They watched this light for a good five to six seconds. It started to slow down considerably when it got to the opposite side of the lake. It then started descending toward the ground slowly near a farm silo just on the other side. The farm hadn’t been used in at least ten years. They watched the light move down and down, until they could not see it in the sky anymore, but they could still see the colored glow shining into the air. Being retired police officers they decided to investigate this phenomenon. Each of them quickly untied their ropes and jumped back into the boat. They made it across the lake in about five minutes. As they docked the boat on a friend’s dock that was away at the time, they looked in the direction of where the light was, approximately 300 yards away. It was now pulsating and no longer a steady glow. It was just behind the old silo and so they walked in that direction quite cautiously, yet very excited and quickly. When they reached the silo, suddenly the glow became solid again and stopped pulsing. The three of them, walking side by side, each with a pocket knife in hand, made it around to the other side where the light was coming from. Then they saw something they had never seen before. It was a glowing circle or sphere about the size of a Volkswagen beetle “black light” in color. This sphere was transparent, and inside of it they saw what looked exactly like two humans, a male and a female sitting facing one another. Yet there were no visible seats beneath them. The woman had long blond hair and was clothed in gray and black. The male had medium length blond hair with similar clothing. The three witnesses watched for a few seconds before they looked at each other, and almost simultaneously said, “Are we really seeing this?” Each of them started whispering to each other what they were seeing and all of their descriptions were exactly the same. As they stood about 25 to about 30 feet away from the object they could clearly see that the male and the female had their hands pressed against each other’s and their eyes were closed. The sphere surrounding them had an almost fluid look to it, yet seemed solid at the same time. The main witness pulled out his cigarettes nervously and as he went to light a cigarette the female turned and looked directly at them. His friend, elbowed him and said, “Great, now we have been seen.” He did not feel any fear whatsoever and later found out neither of them were fearful either. After the female looked at them, she smiled very pleasantly and took one hand away from her mate’s. He then looked directly at them and smiled also, a very humbling smile. They all looked at each other stunned. The female’s hand movements looked as if it was a slight wave and the male proceeded to follow. The main witness two friends did not move, but just kept staring; he however raised his hand for some odd reason as to wave back. As he did, the two beings looked at each other and smiled. The female then reached her hand outside of the sphere and picked up what looked like some grass. They then closed their eyes again, put their hands back up to one another’s and the sphere began ascending slowly at about the speed of a helicopter. The only noise emitted was a very faint hum, almost like a powerful household ion air cleaner. The sphere rose to about 50 or 60 ft and they could see that both the male and female were looking down at them; they could see their heads turn and look down in their direction. Shortly after, the sphere took off quite rapidly. It got smaller and smaller, ascending maybe 20 feet every couple of seconds. It took off directly toward the constellation of Orion, which was visible in the clear night sky, until they could not see the sphere anymore.

Location: Botafuegos, Spain Date: February 11 1980 Time: late night Five witnesses, including Rafael Tobajas, spotted a low flying luminous white-orange object that seemed to be lifting up from some nearby wooded hills. Minutes later the object divided itself in three different luminous sections, then it united again into one luminous point. Soon using a pair of binoculars they saw the lights descend in a falling leaf like motion. Near the ground two huge man-like silhouettes appear in front of the lights. These figures were over 3 meters in height and gray in color. The beings appeared to move using huge leaps and strides over the ground. Jumping easily over various obstacles, they seemed to move in slow motion and appeared to move in front of the luminous orbs of lights. According to Tobajas the humanoids stopped briefly by a small creek and seemed to look around and bend down several times. The humanoids suddenly began running towards the witnesses, who terrified, drove frantically away from the area. The tall gray humanoids chased the witness vehicle for several minutes. The main witness apparently encountered similar humanoids a year later at night.

Location: Cordenons, Fruili, Italy Date: September 4 1997 Time: 2215 Two young boys, 13-year old Giovanni and 15-year old Alessandro were walking alone on the Via Vittorio when they suddenly noticed a dazzling light emitting intermittent flashes. This flashing was immediately followed by a strange whistling sound. After walking for about 100 meters the two boys noticed a bizarre creature standing next to a light pole. It was described as short and white in color. The creature then moved very rapidly in a strange zigzagging motion disappearing into a nearby wooded area.

279. Location: Cordenons, Fruili, Italy Date: September 5 1997 Time: morning The next day the same two boys along with two other friends entered the wooded area in search for the strange creature. Soon about 50 meters away among some bushes the boys saw a round whitish head, hairless and extremely wrinkled in appearance. Terrified the boys left the area but soon returned to the site armed with a camera and a pair of binoculars. Soon they were overcome by a strange malaise and headache. They again saw the humanoid, which they described as about 90 cm in height, dirty white in color and with very long arms. It had three digit hands that ended in ball shaped tips. Its head was oval shaped devoid of any facial expression, it was pointed at the top and it had a very pointed chin. Its most prominent features were its huge black oval shaped eyes. Its mouth was but a thin line and its nose, two small round holes. Its skin appeared to be gelatinous and was very corrugated. It appeared devoid of any sexual organs. The boys left the scene. The creature was apparently seen on the next day in the same woods, but it scurried away into the brush when a witness approached it and disappeared.

This compilation includes many of my favorite NASA UFO encounters/sightings that I have archived over the years. All of these examples (with the exception of the second-to-last one) were captured on film by NASA astronauts or Russian Cosmonauts over the past half-century – showing many amazing examples from different eras – Gemini, Apollo, Apollo/Soyuz Test Project, Skylab, STS, the ISS, plus a couple Russian-source additions from their unmanned Zond and Mir Space Station programs as well thrown in to round things out.
The second last example is the only one in the compilation that features footage that was not taken in space and is not official-source (NASA or Soviet/Russian Space Agency). That clip shows an LTP (Lunar Transient Phenomenon) event captured through a camera connected to the eyepiece of a terrestrial-based telescope that luckily was being focused on the Moon at the time. In this case, the LTP manifests as an object transiting across the face of the lunar disc. Many thanks to amateur astronomer Alberto Mayer of Italy for doing a wonderful job of filming this stunning event (and for stacking the footage for us all to see).
While the examples you will see here captured on film can all be “officially” classified as “unidentified” objects, that absolutely does NOT mean that NASA, the DoD, and certain elements within the scientific community worldwide are completely in the dark as to what these things you are seeing are. Make no mistake: The Powers That Be are indeed aware of far more about our mysterious Universe than they are ever willing to admit to us. We, the plebeian masses of this planet, are being held in a state of enforced ignorance, deemed not worthy of knowing the full truth by those who are REALLY “running the show” down here on Earth. As this video shows over and over again however, there are indeed snippets of that amazing truth that have been left scattered about the official government archives over the decades, there for us to find so we may begin to educate ourselves about what is the most monumental coverup in human history – where the only thing more incredible than the lies is the truth!

Location: Felixstowe, Suffolk, England Date: September 20 1965 Time: 22:30 Geoffrey Maskey had stopped his car in Walton Avenue, with him were two of his friends, Michael Johnson and Mavis Fordyce, they young people chattered when, suddenly, Michael opened the door and left the vehicle without explanation and was lost in the night. His friends, although disconcerted, thought that perhaps he had responded to a natural urge, so they did not worry. A few minutes after the departure of their friend, they young man and the girl who remained in the car heard a humming and high-pitched sound, and saw an orange object, very luminous, of oval shape, approximately 2 meters long, which hovered above the car. All the surrounding landscape was bathed of an orange gleam. Then, very quickly, the object moved and disappeared behind the trees. At the end of a few minutes, recovering from their surprise, the two young people realized that Michael was still missing. Anxious, they started to call him, without success. Alarmed, Geoffrey started the car and drove in reverse gear before calling him again. At the end of a few moments of distress, Michael finally reappeared, but he looked shocked, staggering and holding his head. His friends first believed he was joking, but when the young man suddenly collapsed, they rushed to help him. Michael had lost consciousness and they did not manage to make arouse him, so they took him to the vehicle and drove him as fast as possible to the hospital. There, Michael finally came back to his senses, but did not recognize his friends. The doctors diagnosed a serious state of shock, and looked after his wounds at the back of the neck—burn marks—and a contusion above the right ear. By safety, he was moved to the hospital of Ipswich, better equipped, from where he could go away the next day afternoon having recovered his senses. He then told his friends that when he had abruptly left the car without a word, he was obeying an unknown and pressing “force”. He had walked a distance he could not estimate, and was suddenly face to face with a humanoid being with large slanted and luminous eyes, surrounded by orange flames. He has no other memories of what occurred then, until he woke up at the hospital. In Later years remember additional details in which he saw a glowing silver/orange object descending next to where he was standing about twelve feet above him. Standing on the side of this craft were two humanoid figures wearing steel colored suits, with arms outstretched at chest height, showing long pointed fingers. He saw them go back into the craft and the next thing he remembers was waking up in the hospital.

Location: Houston, Texas Date: July 1992 Time: 03:00 a.m. Sally Crestman awakened in the middle of the night to find a tall man standing by her bed. She described the man as Egyptian-looking, with long, black hair and very pale skin. Although the room was dark, the being seemed to glow, and Sally could clearly make out his facial features. The man just stood there staring at the witness. She was unable to move as her husband slept next to her. He was snoring very loudly. The stranger continued to look at the witness; his eyes were very dark; a red area glowed in the middle of his pupils. He then raised his finger, pointed to the ceiling, and just vanished. Scared, she pulled the covers over her head and heard a voice inside her head say, “You will now travel far beyond any place you have ever been before.” She then felt as if she was falling into a hole and sinking, and then she blacked out. The next day she woke up very tired.

Location: Houston, Texas Date: December 8 1992 Time: late night The witness awoke and observed a bright flash of light (there was no sound of thunder following). The subject rolled over and noticed a small gray alien “wearing a harness/utility belt.” The witness was instructed to follow the alien outside, where a blue/white light was shining on a spot on the ground. The witness was instructed to stand in the light, and an instant later, found himself in a large circular room (about the size of a high school gymnasium). The witness was instructed to disrobe and led out of the room and through a series of corridors and passageways. Part of the time they walked but mostly they were transported by a means unknown to the witness. Eventually they arrived at a small room where several other aliens were present. A quick physical examination was given and then a human appearing individual entered the room (the witness in prior abductions had never encountered a human). The human asked several questions as to how/why the abductee knew he had been abducted before. The witness was also asked how abductees knew/found out about other abductees and why were they meeting together. (!) A model of the human brain was shown to the subject and he was asked to indicate where the “subconscious mind was located.” He was unable to indicate a location and received a mental image or impression that another abductee was being asked the same question. The human then left the room and the subject was moved to another room. This room appeared to be some type of meeting or conference room. It also was round, but the lighting and the furnishings were quite different. A number of different alien life forms entered the room, the last being the one with human appearance. The small gray aliens left the room but two of the taller brown aliens stayed. (The description of the other life forms is being withheld pending further investigation). The witness was again questioned as to the nature of the subconscious mind and to his knowledge of his abductions and other abductees. After each question the witness received images of other abductees. He could see them in a room together. They were all nude and seemed to be unaware of the presence of each other. Each seemed to be in a trance-like state and behaved as if acting out a part. Later the human took him into a side room where he was shown a “strange sort of chart or diagram” which he did not understand and was unlike any he’d ever seen before. He was then led by two tall brown colored beings through several other rooms to another examination room/laboratory where a nasal implant was placed in his nostril. The witness was then given his pajamas, told to dress, and returned to his home and bed.

Location: San Antonio Texas Date: December 9 1992 Time: 05:30 a.m. The witness suddenly awoke to the faint sound of voices and music. De Maleisische politiechef Khalid Abu Bakar waarschuwt dat de reden voor de verdwijning van de Boeing van Malaysian Airlines misschien nooit zal worden achterhaald. Er wordt gesproken van de ‘moeilijkste zoektocht ooit’. De politiechef zegt dan ook dat het onderzoek nog lang kan duren. Het neerstorten van de Boeing in de Indische Oceaan wordt door vele familieleden in twijfel getrokken, wegens gebrek aan bewijzen. De meeste briefings worden achter gesloten deuren gehouden.
Kaping, sabotage en psychische en persoonlijke problemen van iedereen aan boord zijn al volledig onderzocht. Pas kwam het bericht naar buiten dat zich aan boord van het vermiste vliegtuig vier eigenaren van een octrooi voor een halfgeleider bevonden, waardoor de vijfde eigenaar nu het alleenrecht heeft op de uitvinding. Dat schrijft de krant International Business Times.
Die eigenaar is volgens de krant miljardair Lord Jacob Rothschild. Het bedrijf Freescale Semiconductor zou enkele dagen voor de verdwijning van het vliegtuig een nieuwe microprocessor voor onder andere militaire radarsystemen hebben gelanceerd, de Kinetis KL03 microcontroller.
De processoren die Freescale de afgelopen 50 jaar heeft ontwikkeld, worden door het bedrijf omschreven als ‘halfgeleiders die computerfuncties in elektronische systemen uitvoeren’. Er waren nog 16 andere werknemers van Freescale aan boord van de Boeing. Het ging voor het grootste deel om ingenieurs en experts die werkzaam waren in de fabrieken in Tianjin in China en Kuala Lumpur in Maleisië. Het bedrijf zei dat de patenthouders en werknemers naar China gingen om Freescale efficiënter en kosteneffectiever te maken.
Tot de aandeelhouders van Freescale behoort ook de Carlyle Group, een prestigieuze Amerikaanse investeringsmaatschappij. Achter Carlyle gaan grote namen schuil, zoals George H.W. Bush, de ex-president van Amerika, en de Engelse oud-premier John Major.
Een belangrijke klant van Carlyle is de Saudi Binladin Group, het grootste bouwbedrijf ter wereld. Het conglomeraat is in handen van de familie van Osama bin Laden.
Vier dagen voor de verdwijning van het vliegtuig werd de patentaanvraag van Freescale goedgekeurd door het Amerikaanse patentenkantoor, zo meldt de krant. Het patent stond op naam van Freescale, Peidong Wang, Zhijun Chen, Zhihong Cheng en Li Ying. Alle vier werknemers kwamen uit de Chinese stad Suzhou.
“Het waren mensen met veel ervaring en technische kennis. Ze waren erg belangrijk,” zei vicepresident van Freescale Mitch Haws. “Dit is zeker een verlies voor het bedrijf.”

Afrikaanse tempels van de Anunnaki
Volgens de Zuid-Afrikaanse schrijver Michael Tellinger komen een aantal 200.000 jaar oude vindplaatsen in Zuid-Afrika exact overeen met Soemerische beschrijvingen van Abzu, het land van het ‘Eerste Volk’. Tellinger heeft uitgebreid onderzoek gedaan naar het omvangrijke mijnbouwproject van de Anunnaki van de twaalfde planeet, Nibiru geheten, en de stad van Anunnaki-leider Enki.
Oude steencirkels die in het land zijn gevonden zouden volgens de principes van de heilige geometrie zijn geplaatst. Er zijn resten van Tesla-achtige technologieën aangetroffen die werden gebruikt om energie op te wekken en immens diepe tunnels in de aarde te boren, op zoek naar goud. Die tunnels bestaan nog steeds en zijn voor archeologen een groot mysterie.
De steencirkels hadden volgens Tellinger bovendien een genezende werking. Door de enorme hoeveelheid opgewekte energie te bedwingen, zouden de Anunnaki ook in staat zijn geweest tot levitatie. Tellinger beargumenteert dat gereedschappen en stenen die bij dergelijke monumenten worden gevonden moeilijk zijn te dateren, mede omdat koolstofdatering volgens hem niet nauwkeurig is.
De menselijke beschaving die door de Anunnaki werd gecreëerd, gebruikte veel totems die ook zijn gevonden in het oude Egypte, waaronder de Horus-vogel, de sfinx, de ankh en grote piramides. Op het middelpunt van de beschaving werd een stenen kalender gebouwd die richting het sterrenbeeld Orion wees.
In Zuid-Afrika zijn petrogliefen gevonden die bijna identiek zijn aan de hiërogliefen op Soemerische rolzegels. Tellinger heeft duizenden vierkante kilometer grondgebied in kaart gebracht. Hij ontdekte naar eigen zeggen niet alleen eindeloze hoeveelheden nederzettingen, maar ook drie stedelijke centra die elk groter zijn dan het hedendaagse Los Angeles.
Tot halverwege de jaren negentig experimenteerde de Amerikaanse overheid op grote schaal met remote viewing. In 1994 werd dr. Angela Thompson Smith door Intuition Services in Californië gevraagd met haar bewustzijn te ‘kijken’ naar de ringen van Saturnus.
In de buitenste ringen zag dr. Thompson Smith ‘hete stenen’ die door de zwaartekracht richting de planeet werden getrokken. Deze stenen vielen op den duur uit elkaar en gingen weer op in de ringen. Ze zag in de buitenste ringen ook kolossale onbemande vaartuigen. In de binnenste ringen ontdekte ze sigaarvormige toestellen die waren gevangen door het zwaartekrachtveld van de planeet.
Dr. Thompson Smith sprak van mijnbouwmachines die ‘hol zijn van binnen en ruimtepuin opzuigen’. De vaartuigen zijn volgens haar onderdeel van een project dat wordt aangestuurd door een intelligente soort die ook andere planeten in ons zonnestelsel heeft verkend, waaronder de aarde.
Al in 1986 had voormalig NASA-wetenschapper dr. Norman Bergrun een boek gepubliceerd over de sigaarvormige vaartuigen in de Saturnusringen, die begin jaren tachtig door ruimtesonde Voyager waren gefotografeerd. Bergrun was 12 jaar werkzaam in het Ames Research Center van NASA en werkte 13 jaar voor vliegtuigfabrikant Lockheed.
Dr. Bergrun concludeerde dat de ringen van Saturnus niet natuurlijk zijn, maar het product zijn van gigantische cilindervormige objecten die vaak groter zijn dan de aarde. Naast de cilinders trof hij op de foto’s van de ringen oplichtende objecten aan. In onderstaande video wordt dieper ingegaan op het werk van de wetenschapper.
Op 22 mei en 10 augustus 1995 fotografeerde de Hubble-telescoop twee kolossale objecten in de ringen van Saturnus. Op 21 november datzelfde jaar waren ze niet meer te zien. De objecten leken een bepaalde kracht uit te oefenen op de ringen.
Na 2004 was ruimtesonde Cassini in staat om de Saturnusringen eens goed onder de loep te nemen. Cassini-wetenschapper Joshua Colwell van de Universiteit van Colorado zei: “Het is verbazingwekkend dat er nog zoveel onbeantwoorde vragen zijn over de ringen van Saturnus.”
Afgelopen maand werden Cassini-foto’s van de objecten samengevoegd en op YouTube geplaatst. Voor dr. Thompson Smith zijn de beelden een bevestiging van wat ze tijdens haar experiment op Saturnus heeft gezien.

La nouvelle de la probable détection des modes B de l’inflation par les membres de la collaboration Bicep2 est-elle la pointe émergée d’une révolution majeure en physique théorique, mais aussi pour l'économie mondiale ? Des membres de l’University of Antarctica (UANT) s’apprêteraient à rendre publics les résultats d’une expérience sur l’énergie noire, détectée à l'échelle du laboratoire. Ils bouleverseraient nos idées sur le vide quantique, ce qui permettrait d'en tirer profit. A-t-on trouvé une source d'énergie infinie ?
Premier avril : cet article appartient bien sûr à la noble tradition du poisson d'avril. L'Université de l'Antarctique et le groupe de chercheurs auquel il fait référence n'existent pas et il n'y a toujours aucune indication, théorique et surtout expérimentale que l'on puisse utiliser l'énergie du vide quantique. En revanche, ce qui est dit au sujet de l'énergie du point zéro et des faux vides quantiques métastables est tout à fait juste...
Peu avant le 17 mars 2014, des rumeurs laissaient entendre que la collaboration Bicep2 s'apprêtait à annoncer la découverte des mythiques modes B de la théorie de l’inflation grâce à leur radiotélescope au pôle Sud. Une autre rumeur court aujourd'hui, provenant aussi de cette direction et concernant une expérience menée depuis quelque temps par des physiciens de l’University of Antarctica (UANT). Inspirée par la proposition du prix Nobel de physique Martin Perl, l’équipe de l’UANT aurait tenté de mesurer directement en laboratoire la présence de l’énergie noire grâce à une expérience d'interférométrie atomique.
L’UANT, jeune université internationale supportée en partie par des fonds privés mais néanmoins discrètement administrée par l’Unesco et l’Onu, commence à bâtir sa réputation. Loin des sentiers battus et des continents habituels, les chercheurs peuvent poursuivre des projets hors du commun pour le bien de l’humanité, en dehors des contraintes étatiques et culturelles. La rumeur veut que ce qu’auraient découvert les membres de l’UANT ait directement à voir avec la mythique « énergie libre », celle que l'on pourrait extraire du vide.
Jusqu’à présent, malgré les discours relayés sur des sites pseudoscientifiques et complotistes à souhait, sans parler des vidéos du même acabit sur YouTube, la communauté scientifique s'accordait pour affirmer qu’aucune preuve n'existe de la possible exploitation d'une énergie du vide. D’un point de vue théorique, l’énergie du point zéro du vide quantique correspond à un état d’énergie minimale. On ne peut donc pas descendre en dessous, ce qui veut dire qu’il est intrinsèquement impossible d’en tirer de l’énergie, pas plus que de l’eau d'une chute une fois qu'elle a atteint l’altitude zéro. Les résultats de l'UANT modifieraient les règles du jeu. Et si le vide n'était pas dans son état d'énergie minimale ?
Si la fameuse énergie noire, qui peut être une manifestation de l’énergie du point zéro du vide, est en réalité une manifestation d’un champ scalaire similaire à celui à l’origine du boson de Brout-Englert-Higgs, les choses peuvent en effet être différentes. Le vide quantique pourrait bien ne pas être dans son état d’énergie minimale...
Si l’on prend l’image d’une série de collines avec des vallées, l’état du vide serait comparable à celui de l’énergie potentielle d’une bille installée dans un creux qui ne serait pas à l’altitude zéro. En faisant transiter la bille (dont la position représenterait l’état d’un champ scalaire) dans une vallée de plus basse altitude, alors, comme avec une chute d’eau, on pourrait extraire du vide une énergie libre et exploitable partout dans l’espace.
Quel rapport avec les observations de Bicep2 ? Ces résultats indiquent que 10-37 s après le temps zéro de l’univers observable, il contenait probablement un champ scalaire avec une densité d’énergie extraordinaire qui, en s’annulant, aurait créé les particules de matière qui existent aujourd’hui. Ce champ scalaire, qui aurait causé l’inflation avec une expansion de l’espace, courte mais vertigineusement grande, aurait subi l’équivalent d’une transition de phase, à la façon de l’eau liquide qui gèle. C’est la chaleur latente libérée qui aurait ensuite produit la fournaise de particules décrites par le modèle standard du Big Bang. Signalons qu'un physicien pourrait décrire autrement le phénomène en considérant l’expansion de l’espace au moment de l’inflation comme une sorte de frottement de l’air s'exerçant sur la bille. Qui dit frottement dit dissipation d’énergie sous forme de chaleur. Voilà donc un processus de conversion de l’énergie du champ scalaire en un plasma de particules de matière chaude.
De l'énergie récupérable par effet Casimir ?
Si les observations de Bicep2 sont justes, deux conclusions sont possibles. L’énergie noire qui accélère actuellement l’expansion de l’univers observable pourrait être celle-là même qui a causé l’inflation de l’univers au tout début de son histoire. Comme il n’y a aucune raison de penser que nous sommes dans une région particulière de l’univers où l’énergie du vide serait dans un état minimal, cela implique que l’on peut théoriquement extraire de l’énergie du vide quantique !
Les membres de l’UANT, inspirés par Yasuyuki Nakamura et bénéficiant en primeur des informations de leurs collègues de Bicep2, auraient rapidement utilisé leurs mesures pour interpréter les résultats de leurs propres expériences sur l’énergie noire. Il se dit qu’ils seraient parvenus à la conclusion que l’énergie noire est effectivement une énergie libre. Si tel est bien le cas, reste à savoir comment l’exploiter. L'effet Casimir serait peut-être un moyen. Une source d'énergie potentiellement infinie serait alors à notre portée. Est-on à la veille d'une révolution technologique ? La collaboration de l'UANT n'a pas encore publié ses résultats, et il faudra encore attendre cette échéance pour affirmer que les problèmes énergétiques de l'humanité seront, à terme, résolus.

One of the most elaborate UFO pranks ever staged was on April Fools’ Day in 1989 over London. Virgin, the famous venture capitalist conglomerate, is known for its April foolery, and the mastermind behind their pranks is Virgin’s founder Sir Richard Branson.
The mission to fly a UFO over London began as a top secret project code named “Project Wedgewood.” Cameron Balloons Limited in the town of Bristol, a bit less than 2 hours from London by car, was commissioned to build a massive UFO hot air balloon fully kitted out with strobe lights.

As to what happened next, Branson detailed the execution of the prank in a blog on World UFO Day (July 2) in 2013. Branson says they took off in the balloon at approximately 4 am, the strobe light blinking every 10 seconds. By the time the first light of dusk could be seen they had reached the M25, a major motorway leading into London.
Branson writes, “We could see every single vehicle grinding to a halt and hundreds of people looking up at the UFO flying over them.”

Newspapers said that Branson and his UFO were blown off target. The plan was to land in London’s Hyde Park, instead Branson had to set the UFO down in Surrey Field. Branson says they hadn’t realized the extent of the commotion their stunt was creating while they were in the air. The police and army had been alerted to their presence, and radio and TV stations were reporting the UFO over London.

When the balloon set down he says they were surrounded by police. The police appeared a bit hesitant to approach the strange aircraft. Branson says they “sent one lone policeman with his truncheon across the field to greet the alien.”
He continued, “The UFO’s door opened very slowly, with tonnes of dry ice billowing from it. A dwarf that we had carried on board, dressed in an ET outfit, walked down the platform towards the bobby. He promptly turned and ran in the opposite direction!”

Sir Branson of course thought this prank was pretty funny, but the police were not amused, at least not at first. Branson says, “The police initially didn’t see the funny side of it and threatened to arrest us for wasting their time. But they soon joined in the general merriment of it.”
Branson says, “Every April Fools Day we love to come up with a major fun prank that pulls peoples legs and makes them smile.”
This year, Virgin has conspired with the climate control company Nest for their April Fools’ Day fun. Branson, along with Nest CEO Tony Fadell, introduce an incredible new personal climate control feature on Virgin America airlines in the promotional video below. Although, if it sounds too good to be true, it is because, unfortunately, it is.
