Multiple UFOs reported 20 feet over Pennsylvania homes

A Pennsylvania witness at Fairless Hills reported watching four triangle-shaped UFOs silently moving just 20 feet over neighboring homes followed by 20 to 30 star-like objects crossing the sky, according to testimony in Case 80797 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The sighting began about 8:20 p.m. on November 4, 2016, when the witness took his two children out for a walk in search of Pokémon hotspots.

“It was a crisp fall night, and for a night sky, the sky was bright and full of stars with no clouds or precipitation,” the witness stated. “At approximately 8:20 p.m. we turned and began walking up a street with a slight incline, and my youngest child stopped to catch a Pokémon and had lagged behind. I noticed he was no longer with us and I turned around to call to him to catch up, and right behind him were two huge, black, triangular craft, larger than the houses they were above, flying slowly and approximately 20 feet above the one story houses across the street, and approximately 20 feet away.”

The witness immediately spotted a second craft.

“The second craft was flying at the same height as the first craft, immediately behind it. The two craft were black with three unwavering bright white lights at the three corners of the triangles, with a solid bright primary, red light in the center of the craft. The craft were completely silent; they were almost on top of us and we never would have known they were there if I did not happen to look behind us. The two craft came from a western direction and were heading east.”

The objects then changed direction.

“We observed the craft silently shift direction southeast before disappearing behind trees and we lost visual contact with the craft. We continued walking up the road away from the craft headed north, heading home, for approximately 10 seconds, when I looked behind again to where we had sighted the craft. Two more triangular craft were flying in the exact same direction in the exact location where the first two craft were sighted, and they turned and headed southeast in exactly the same spot that the other two craft had turned. It was as if we witnessed deja vu; as if we viewed the event again, but this time at a slightly different angle, as we were slightly farther away from the craft the second time around.”

The witness then returned to the original location.

“We walked back down to the location where we spotted and observed the first craft, this time from a farther distance away, as the craft were heading away from us. And at this point my eldest son managed to snap two photographs of these second two craft with his phone.”

The witness then observed a large group of star-like objects.

“We turned east and onto my road, when we looked up into the sky and witnessed a patch of sky with between 20 and 30 balls of light, exact number unable to be determined, that looked like stars, except that they were moving. Some of the lights were moving very slowly, almost imperceptibly, but other craft were moving so quick that they would leave a light trail behind them, as they shifted position. The lights were different colors, from red to bluish-white to orange to bright white. We walked towards this activity in the sky, however, these lights were high up – like stars – and to the east of our location. Our vision would occasionally be obstructed as we walked on our street due to street lamps, but the activity continued unabated as we reached our house. We ran inside and I asked my wife to come out and check out what was happening in the sky. Approximately three minutes later, just after 8:30 p.m., we walked back outside and there was nothing in the sky where we had just observed the lights; not even observable stars.”

UFOs in the Finger Lakes Region

For years around campfires and over holiday meals, I’ve heard tales of UFOs in New York’s Finger Lakes.

I’ve heard stories of bright objects descending from the skies and entering the waters of one lake or another. I’ve also heard accounts of bright objects exiting the waters of a lake and flying off into the wild blue yonder. I’ve even read a few tales attributed to Native American lore of bright objects leaving our lovely Finger Lakes for the heavens.

Unfortunately too many of the accounts are secondhand or so are old they qualify as legend. This makes investigation and research very difficult. Using statistics from my U.S. UFO magnitude study, I’ve compiled a chart of the counties that surround the core of New York’s Finger Lakes region. The idea was to see how the Finger Lakes region compared to the well-known Erie Lake region in terms of UFO sighting reports.

The Finger Lakes counties total 14 and are as follows: Cayuga, Cortland, Monroe, Ontario, Tioga, Wayne, Chemung, Livingston, Onondaga, Steuben, Schuyler, and Yates.

Using data from my study, I compiled the chart above. The UFO sightings were reported in a period from 2001 through 2015. During the sample window, New York state logged 5,141 UFO sighting reports. The 14 counties that make up the Finger Lakes region logged 684 UFO sighting reports. As shown on the chart, the sightings tend to follow a seasonal reporting pattern.

Erie and Niagara counties, which log the lion’s share of the Erie Lake effect sighting cluster, only logged 447 UFO sighting reports for the same sample period.

At first glance, most of the Finger Lakes region counties have relatively low sighting reports. The exception is Monroe County, which reports 236 sighting reports for the sample period.

As a UFO researcher, I was rather surprised by the magnitude of the Finger Lakes numbers. Taken as a whole, New York’s Finger Lakes region hosts 13 percent of the states total UFO sightings. That is the largest concentration in the state, second only to Long Island.

If one is looking for signals from an extraterrestrial civilization, why not practice on some of the non-human communication systems already known on our own planet? Whales have had a global communication system for millions of years—longer than Homo sapiens has even existed. Bees, which communicate in part by dancing, had democratic debates about the best places to swarm millions of years before humans came up with democracy as a political system. And other examples abound. No person I know of who has studied another animal’s communication system has ever concluded that the species was dumber than they’d previously thought.

Through the study of animal communication, my colleagues and I have developed a new kind of detector, a “communication intelligence” filter, to determine whether a signal from space is from a technologically advanced civilization or not. Most previous SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) efforts have looked for radio transmissions with a narrow band of frequencies or for optical signals that blink very rapidly. From what we know about astrophysics, such transmissions would be clearly artificial, and their discovery would indicate technology capable of transmitting a signal over interstellar distances. SETI efforts generally throw away wideband radio signals and slower optical pulses, whose provenance is less obvious. Although those signals might well be from intelligent beings, they might also originate in natural sources of radio waves, such as interstellar gas clouds, and we have lacked a good way to tell the difference.

Put simply, we may well have received a message from intelligent beings and neglected it because it didn’t conform to our expectations for what a signal should look like. And this might be why we have yet to detect any interstellar communications in 50 years of searching.

Over the past decade and a half, my colleagues and I have sought a better way. We have been applying information theory to human and animal communication systems, and we can now tell that particular species could be communicating complex ideas even though we don’t know what they are saying. (We use the term “communication system” in order not to prejudge whether other species have language in the human sense.) Complex communication follows general syntax-like rules that reveal what might be called intelligence content. If we have a large enough sample of the message, we can quantify its degree of complexity or rule structure. In the mathematics of information theory, this structure is called the “conditional information entropy” and is made up of mathematical relations among the elementary units of communication, such as letters and phonemes. In everyday speech, we recognize this structure as grammar and, at an even more basic level, as the packaging of sounds into words and sentences. For the first time, we at the SETI Institute in Mountain View, California, have begun to look for this structure in SETI data.

My colleagues Brenda McCowan and Sean F. Hanser at the University of California at Davis and I decided to study species that were both socially complex and highly dependent on acoustic communication, using sound signals that we could readily classify. Thus, our first three subject species were bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus), squirrel monkeys (Saimiri sciureus), and humpback whales (Megaptera novaeangliae).

One aspect of human linguistics that emerged from early statistical studies of letters, words, and phonemes is known as Zipf’s Law, after the Harvard University linguist George Zipf. In English text, there are more e’s than t’s, more t’s than a’s, and so on, down to the least frequent letter, “q.” If one lists the letters from “e” to “q” in descending order of frequency and plots their frequencies on a log-log graph, one can fit the values with a 45-degree line—that is, with a line with a slope of –1. If one does the same thing with text made up of Chinese characters, one also gets a –1 slope. And the same is true with the letters, words, or phonemes of a conversation in Japanese, German, Hindi, and dozens of other languages. Baby babbling does not obey Zipf’s Law. Its slope is less than –1 because the sounds spill out nearly at random. But as children learn their language, the slope gradually tilts up and reaches –1 by about the age of 24 months.

They did not have to receive the whole message to be able to fill in the blanks.

According to mathematical linguists, this –1 slope indicates that a given series of sounds or written symbols contains enough complexity to constitute a language. It is a necessary but not sufficient condition, meaning that this is the first test for complexity, but not a proof of it. According to Zipf himself, the reason for this –1 slope is a tradeoff he called the “principle of least effort.” It strikes a balance between the transmitter, who would like to expend the least amount of energy sending the signal, and the receiver, who would like the most redundancy to ensure that the whole message was received.

The key to the application of information theory is isolating the signaling units. For example, just plotting all the dots and dashes in Morse code will give a Zipf slope of about –0.2. But if one takes multiple dots and dashes as the elementary units—dot dot, dot dash, dash dot, and dash dash, as well as longer sequences—the slope tilts toward –1, reflecting how letters of the alphabet are encoded in this system. In this way, one can reverse-engineer what the original units of meaning are.

Most linguists used to suppose that Zipf’s Law was a characteristic of human languages only. So we were quite excited to find that, upon plotting the frequency of occurrence of adult bottlenose-dolphin whistles, that they, too, obeyed Zipf’s Law! Later, when two baby bottlenose dolphins were born at Marine World in California, we recorded their infant whistles and discovered that they had the same Zipf’s Law slope as baby human babbling. Thus baby dolphins babble their whistles and have to learn their communication system in a way not dissimilar from the way baby humans learn their languages. By the time the dolphins reached the age of 12 months, the frequency of occurrence distribution of their whistles had reached a –1 slope, as well.

Although we have yet to decipher what bottlenose dolphins are saying, we went on to establish that they and whales have a communication system with an internal complexity approaching that of human languages. This complexity makes communication resilient. Any creature that exchanges information has to be able to do so despite ambient noise, intervening obstacles, and other effects that interfere with signal propagation. Human language is structured to provide redundancy. At the most basic level, this structure determines the probability that a given letter will appear. If I tell you I’m thinking of a word, you might guess that the first letter is “t,” since this is the most common first letter of words in English. Your guess would be safe, but not very informative. We might say you played it safe with your guess. If instead you guess the letter “q” and you are correct, you gain some real information about what word I am thinking of if the word does, indeed, begin with the letter “q.”

Now take this a step further. If I told you that the letter I am thinking of is the second letter in a word whose first letter is “q,” you would immediately guess the letter “u.” Why? Because you know that these two letters go together with almost 100-percent probability in English. To guess what is missing, you are using not just the probability of occurrence of a letter, but the conditionalprobability between these two letters—namely, the probability of “u” given that the letter “q” has already occurred. Our brains use conditional probabilities whenever they need to fix errors in transmissions, such as faded text on a low-toner copy of a paper or garbled words in a noisy phone call.

For English words, conditional probabilities can be specified up to about nine words in a row. If you are missing one word, you can probably guess it by the context; if you are missing two words in a row, you can often still recover them from the context. As a short example, take a sentence missing a word: “How are (blank) doing today?” We can easily fill in the missing word “you” from the rules we know about the English language. Now consider a sentence missing two words: “How (blank) (blank) doing today?” It could be: “How is Joe doing today?” But there are other possibilities. Clearly, the more words that are missing, the harder it is to fill them in from context, and the lower the conditional probability between them. For most human written language, the conditional dependencies disappear when one is missing about nine words in a row. With 10 words missing, one really has no clue what these missing words could be. In the language of information theory, human word entropy goes up to about ninth-order.

We have discovered these conditional probabilities within animal communication systems as well. As an example, we were recording the sounds of humpback whales in southeastern Alaska with Fred Sharpe of the Alaska Whale Foundation. Humpbacks are famous for their songs, which are typically recorded when they go to Hawaii to mate. The calls they make in Alaska are very different: feeding calls intended to herd fish into nets made from bubbles and social calls rather than songs. We recorded these vocalizations in the presence and in the absence of boat noise. We calculated the degree to which the ocean channel acted like static in a phone line. Then we used information theory to quantify how much the whales would have to slow down their vocalizations in order to ensure error-free reception of the messages.

Even a very advanced extraterrestrial civilization would still have to obey the rules of information theory.

As expected, with boat noise, the whales slowed their rate of vocalization, just as one would do when talking on the phone with noise in the background. But they were slowing down in their transmissions by only about three-fifths of what they theoretically needed to do in order to ensure that the entire message was received without misunderstandings. How did they get away with not slowing down their vocalizations as much as the noise level seemed to require? We pondered this for some time before realizing that their communication system must have enough rule structure to recover the final two-fifths of the signal. The humpbacks were exploiting conditional probabilities between their sonic equivalent of words. They did not have to receive the whole message to be able to fill in the blanks.

We found internal structure in dolphin communication as well. The big difference is that the dolphins have a core of about 50 signal types, whereas the humpbacks have hundreds. We are currently collecting data to determine what the highest-order entropy of the humpback whale communication system may be.

As a test of our approach’s ability to separate astrophysics from an intelligent signal, we turned to an example from radio astronomy. When stellar pulsars were discovered by astronomers Jocelyn Bell Burnell and Antony Hewish in 1967, they were dubbed “LGMs” for “little green men.” Since these radio sources pulsed so regularly, some scientists initially speculated that they could be the beacons of very advanced extraterrestrials. So we re-analyzed the pulses from the Vela Pulsar with the help of Simon Johnston of the Australia Telescope National Facility and obtained a Zipf slope for the pulsar signals of about –0.3. This is inconsistent with any language as we know it. In addition, we found little or no conditional probabilistic structure within the pulsar signals. And indeed pulsars are now known to be natural remnants of stellar supernovae. Information theory could thus easily distinguish between a putative intelligent signal and a natural source.

We are currently analyzing microwave data obtained at the SETI Institute’s Allen Telescope Array, which consists of 42 individual telescopes observing in the frequency band from 1 to 10 gigahertz. In addition to the usual technique of looking for narrow radio carrier waves, we are beginning now to apply information-theoretic measures. This work is being performed in collaboration with Gerry Harp, Jon Richards, and Jill Tarter of the SETI Institute. If we find signals that obey Zipf’s Law, for example, that would encourage us to go ahead and look for syntax-like structure within the signals in order to quantify how complex the candidate message actually is.

To transmit knowledge, even a very advanced extraterrestrial civilization would still have to obey the rules of information theory. While perhaps not being able to decipher such a message because of lack of common symbols (the same problem we have with, for example, humpback whales), we would get an indication of how complex their communication system—and thereby their thought processes—may be. If the conditional probabilities of a SETI signal are, for example, 20th-order, then not only is the signal artificial in origin, but it would reflect a language far more complex than any on Earth. We would have a quantitative measure of the complexity of the thought processes of a transmitting ETI species.

ROSWELL: Infamous UFO case can be SOLVED once and for all, claims ex-MoD expert

A FORMER Ministry of Defence investigator claims the mystery of the Roswell UFO crash can be solved before the event marks its 70th anniversary in July.

Nick Pope, who investigated the UFO phenomena for the UK MoD until 2009, says he and the Roswell Daily Record newspaper believe someone can come forward to confirm once and for all whether an alien space craft did crash in the New Mexico desert in 1947, before the greatest cover up on Earth began.

Roswell has been at the heart of the UFO scene since in July 1947 the military sensationally announced in a press release it had found the remains of a crashed flying saucer in the desert nearby.

Local paper, the Roswell Daily Record, wrote this up as the lead story, under the headline 'RAAF Captures Flying Saucer on Ranch in Roswell Region'. 

But the following day military officials retracted the statement, saying it was in fact a damaged US Air Force air balloon, prompting claims of a cover up.

Witnesses later came forward to say there had been alien bodies within the "crashed craft", which along with the wreckage were then taken away.

The newspaper's campaign is now calling on anyone who "hung onto" a part of the crashed object at the time to come forward with it for testing.

Mr Pope blogged: "As every citizen of Roswell knows, the city is at the centre of one of the greatest mysteries of all time. 

"In 1947, something crashed in the New Mexico desert and was taken to Roswell Army Air Field — now the Roswell International Air Center.

But, a day later, the story changed, with the USAF saying the “flying disk” had been identified as debris from a crashed weather balloon and the equipment it had been carrying.

He said some of the military personnel involved in the Roswell incident lived off-base in the local community. 

He added: "These people — or perhaps their children or grandchildren — might have boxes up in their attics, filled with memorabilia.

"Alternatively, is there a trinket box on the mantelpiece, a jewellery box hidden away somewhere, or a desk drawer that hasn’t been cleared out in years?

"What I really care about is solving the mystery. After 70 years, it would be great just to know the truth, and I think the people of Roswell hold the key to this."

Mysterious shell-shaped UFO fires 'bolt of lightning' towards the ground as it hurtles into the clouds

The incident was filmed on December 1 in Arizona, USA, and has triggered speculation online

A video showing a UFO bursting through clouds and appearing to shoot a bolt of lightning into the ground has gone viral online.

The video was reportedly published by a Spanish Facebook group but has triggered specualtion online of life from other planets.

It shows a stream of blue-coloured light above some clouds and an object that appears to be hanging from the heavens.

Scott Waring from the UFO Sightings Daily website says the incident occurred on December 1 in Arizona, USA.

He appears to believe the video is real.

"Arizona is a famous hotspot for UFOs and Alien bases, so its nice to get this substantial evidence of their existence in that area," he wrote.

"This is an alien ship, shooting off through the clouds, leaving earth.

"It almost looks like a meteorite, but it's not falling, it's going up."

There are suggestions online the light was from some sort of lightening or other weather-related event.

The were also suggestions it could also be a hoax.

Parmi les évènements rapportés dans la Bible, deux d’entre eux évoquent avec beaucoup de réalisme l’atterrissage spectaculaire de deux grands vaisseaux spatiaux.

Le premier fut l’arrivée au sommet du Mont Sinaï du grand vaisseau-amiral de Yahwé par ailleurs surnommé le « Très-Haut », car s’y tenant en général au-dessus des Hébreux. Le second fut ultérieurement la venue près du fleuve autrefois nommé Kebar d’une grande « Roue » accompagnée d’autres engins très véloces et lumineux que dépeignit Ezéchiel qui en fut le témoin (ch. 1).

Quiconque a vu le film « Rencontre du 3ème Type » de Spielberg se fera une idée correcte d’un tel évènement. Je n’évoquerai en détail que l’arrivée de Yahwé au Sinaï, pour ne pas allonger cette rédaction inutilement.

Les OVNIS de l’Exode

A leur départ d’Egypte, les Hébreux furent manifestement guidés jour et nuit par un engin aérien cylindrique que nous avons appelé de nos jours « Cigare », à cause de sa forme. En témoigne cette citation qui illustre parfaitement bien comment Yahvé, à bord de son ovni, guidait le peuple hébreu dans le désert :

« Le jour où le tabernacle fut dressé, la nuée couvrit le tabernacle, la tente d’assignation ; et, depuis le soir jusqu’au matin, elle eut sur le tabernacle l’apparence d’un feu.

Il en fut continuellement ainsi : la nuée couvrait le tabernacle, et elle avait de nuit l’apparence d’un feu. Quand la nuée s’élevait de dessus la tente, les enfants d’Israël partaient ; et les enfants d’Israël campaient dans le lieu où s’arrêtait la nuée.

Les enfants d’Israël partaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel, et ils campaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel ; ils campaient aussi longtemps que la nuée restait sur le tabernacle. Quand la nuée restait longtemps sur le tabernacle, les enfants d’Israël obéissaient au commandement de l’Éternel, et ne partaient point.

Quand la nuée restait peu de jours sur le tabernacle, ils campaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel, et ils partaient sur l’ordre de l’Éternel. Si la nuée s’arrêtait du soir au matin, et s’élevait le matin, ils partaient. Si la nuée s’élevait après un jour et une nuit, ils partaient.

Si la nuée s’arrêtait sur le tabernacle deux jours, ou un mois, ou une année, les enfants d’Israël restaient campés, et ne partaient point ; et quand elle s’élevait, ils partaient. » (Nombres 9 : 16-22)

Les Hébreux appelèrent l’engin aérien selon le concept de leur évolution « Colonne de Nuée », le jour, et « Colonne de feu » la nuit, à cause de la luminosité rougeoyante d’ionisation qui émane de sa structure, nous le savons maintenant grâce aux milliers de témoins contemporains qui ont pu observer ce phénomène sur toute la planète.

En effet, il a été rapporté que ces engins, d’une conception autre que ce que l’homme fabrique, ionisent leur environnement direct par leur mode de fonctionnement et induisent en certaines circonstances une condensation vaporeuse qui les enrobe totalement, leur donnant alors l’aspect de nuées plus ou moins compactes, soient qu’ils volent en sustentation ou qu’ils se déplacent à des vitesses inouïes.

Selon le même processus ionisant, leur structure devient lumineuse la nuit, s’étendant du rouge sombre à toute la gamme des rouges et des jaunes, y compris le vert et le parme, jusqu’à devenir d’un blanc éblouissant, « glorieux », et leur environnement vaporeux leur donne alors l’aspect de petits nuages lumineux. D’où le terme « Nuée » donné par les anciens pour les désigner.

Ainsi est-il encore écrit dans la Bible :

« L’Éternel allait devant eux, le jour dans une colonne de nuée pour les guider dans leur chemin, et la nuit dans une colonne de feu pour les éclairer, afin qu’ils marchassent jour et nuit. La colonne de nuée ne se retirait point de devant le peuple pendant le jour, ni la colonne de feu pendant la nuit. » (Exode 13:21,22)

Atterrissage au Mont Sinaï

Il est écrit dans la Bible que le troisième mois après leur sortie d’Egypte, les enfants d’Israël arrivèrent au désert du Sinaï. « L’Éternel dit à Moïse : voici, je viendrai vers toi dans une épaisse Nuée, afin que le peuple entende, quand je parlerai, et qu’il ait toujours confiance en toi… Qu’il soit prêt pour le troisième jour, car L’Éternel descendra aux yeux de tout le peuple sur la montagne de Sinaï. » (Exode 19 : 9)

Avant d’atterrir au sommet du Sinaï, Yahwé communiqua également à Moïse des instructions précises afin de protéger la vie et la santé des Hébreux. Ces recommandations visaient à ce que le peuple ne puisse subir l’effet nocif des radiations qui allaient être induites par le système de propulsion de son « Tout Puissant » avant son atterrissage.

« Qu’ils soient prêts pour le troisième jour ; car le troisième jour l’Éternel descendra, aux yeux de tout le peuple, sur la montagne de Sinaï. Tu fixeras au peuple des limites tout à l’entour, et tu diras : Gardez-vous de monter sur la montagne, ou d’en toucher le bord. Quiconque touchera la montagne sera puni de mort. » (Exode 19 : 11, 12)

Et au cas où l’un d’entre eux dérogerait à l’interdiction de dépasser la limite de sécurité fixée, et même pour un animal, il fut décrété par Yahwé de ne pas y toucher (ceci afin d’éviter toute contamination), et de le mettre à mort.

« On ne mettra pas la main sur lui (celui qui se sera trop approché de l’engin), mais on le lapidera, ou on le percera de flèches : animal ou homme, il ne vivra point. » (Exode 19 : 13)

Ce n’est qu’une fois l’atterrissage réalisé, et donc une fois que tout danger serait écarté du fait de la coupure des propulseurs que l’autorisation serait donnée au peuple d’approcher la montagne tout en restant à une certaine distance.

Atterrissage sur le mont Sinaï

« Quand la trompette sonnera, ils s’avanceront près de la montagne. » (Exode 19 : 13)

« Fais au peuple la défense expresse de se précipiter vers l’Éternel, pour regarder, de peur qu’un grand nombre d’entre eux ne périssent. » (Exode 19 : 21)

Les préliminaires ayant été accomplis, il est écrit qu’un matin, le peuple s’étant assemblé au pied de la montagne, un son puissant retentit à la manière de celui d’une trompe, tandis que l’engin, descendant du ciel, environné de feu et de fumée intense, se posa, en même temps que la montagne fut ébranlée par une vibration due à la puissance de ses propulseurs.

« Le troisième jour au matin, il y eut des tonnerres, des éclairs, et une épaisse nuée sur la montagne ; le son de la trompette retentit fortement ; et tout le peuple qui était dans le camp fut saisi d’épouvante. Moïse fit sortir le peuple du camp, à la rencontre de Dieu ; et ils se placèrent au bas de la montagne.

La montagne de Sinaï était tout en fumée, parce que l’Éternel y était descendu au milieu du feu ; cette fumée s’élevait comme la fumée d’une fournaise, et toute la montagne tremblait avec violence. Le son de la « trompette »(disons des haut-parleurs) retentissait de plus en plus fortement. Moïse parlait et Yahwé lui répondait à haute voix… » (Exode 19 : 16-20).

De nos jours, lorsqu’une fusée spatiale décolle, la terre tremble de même à la ronde, tandis qu’elle crache du feu et qu’une fumée épaisse se répand tout autour, sortant de ses « narines », c’est-à-dire de ses tuyères.

Cette description a été parfaitement restituée et rendue par le film « Rencontre du 3e Type » de Spielberg : l’arrivée par le ciel d’un immense vaisseau spatial environné de condensation vaporeuse lui donnant un aspect sinistre ; le feu et la fumée émanant de son moyen de propulsion, des éclairs générés par son fonctionnement électromagnétique, le grondement tonitruant de ses propulseurs et l’ébranlement du sol à l’approche immédiate de son atterrissage, un bruit de trompe assourdissant.

Puis, une fois posé, la tonalité de la voix de Yahwé amplifiée par les haut-parleurs fut entendue de tous, à leur stupéfaction apeurée. Rien de miraculeux en tout cela ; simplement le fruit d’une technologie avancée vers laquelle notre science parvient depuis seulement cinquante ans. C’est sans doute de cette description que les auteurs du film évoqué ont puisé l’inspiration de leur scénario si réaliste.

Un peu plus loin (Exode 33.18) Moise demande à Yahvé la possibilité de voir sa « Gloire ».

Moïse dit : Fais-moi voir ta gloire !

L’Éternel répondit : « (…)Tu ne pourras pas voir ma face, car l’homme ne peut me voir et vivre. Voici un lieu près de moi ; tu te tiendras sur le rocher. Quand ma gloire passera, je te mettrai dans un creux du rocher, et je te couvrirai de ma main jusqu’à ce que je sois passé. Et lorsque je retournerai ma main, tu me verras par derrière, mais ma face ne pourra pas être vue.”

Il est clair qu’il est question ici du survol à basse altitude de l’OVNI qui présente un danger mortel pour l’homme. C’est un phénomène bien connu là encore dans le milieu ufologique et il est très largement recommandé aux témoins d’OVNIS de ne jamais s’approcher d’un engin au sol ou volant à basse altitude sous peine de graves séquelles et brûlures.

Après que YAHWE eut dicté à Moïse ses ordonnances et rédigé sa Loi (la Thora) sur deux tables de pierre, après que son « Tout puissant » soit remonté dans la haute atmosphère, il redescendait assez régulièrement parmi les Hébreux dans un engin plus petit qu’ils surnommèrent « Nuée », à cause de la condensation vaporeuse qui se forme très souvent autour de la structure de ces engins.

Ainsi l’on retrouve souvent dans le texte des citations de cette veine :

« Et lorsque Moïse était entré dans la tente (réservée aux conciliabules entre Yahwé et lui), la colonne de nuée descendait et s’arrêtait à l’entrée de la tente, et l’Éternel parlait avec Moïse » (Exode 33 : 9)

« L’Éternel appela Moïse de la tente d’assignation et lui parla. » (Lévitique 1 : 1)

« L’Éternel descendit dans une « Nuée » et se tint auprès de Moïse… » (Exode 34 : 5)

La demeure de Yahvé

De nombreuses citations indiquent que Yahvé vivait dans ses « palais » dans le ciel. Reste à définir quelle était la nature de ses Palais.

« Dieu, dans ses palais, est connu pour une haute retraite » (Psaumes 48 : 4)

Qu’est-ce qu’une « haute retraite » pour des observateurs au sol regardant vers le ciel ? Et quels étaient ces « palais » ? sinon des résidences aériennes, des vaisseaux spatiaux survolant le Sinaï et ses environs ?…

On trouve encore : « Ô Éternel, tu fais du « Très-Haut » ta retraite… » (Psaumes 91 : 9)

Ici, la preuve est donnée que le dénommé « Très-haut » n’est pas Yahwé, mais son vaisseau spatial amiral qui fut confondu avec lui, comme le cavalier à sa monture, ce que les Incas s’imaginèrent lorsqu’ils virent débarquer les conquistadors espagnols montés sur des chevaux…

Au premier abord, ils s’imaginèrent voir des monstres, moitié animaux, moitié humains. Il fut sans doute difficile d’emblée pour des humains vivant en ces époques archaïques de distinguer le cavalier de sa monture et Yahwé de sa machine. Yahwé fut ainsi confondu avec son vaisseau circulant au-dessus des Hébreux…

Les merveilles de Yahvé

« Sais-tu comment Dieu dirige ces merveilles, et fait briller son nuage étincelant ? Comprends-tu le balancement des nuées, les merveilles de celui dont la science est parfaite ? » (Job 37 : 15,16)

Que signifie « faire briller son nuage » qui devient étincelant ? Et qu’est-ce que le « balancement de ses Nuées » ? Sinon qu’il fut là question une fois de plus des ovnis dont le balancement en « feuille morte » est bien connu lorsqu’ils volent au ralenti ou qu’ils descendent.

Des milliers de témoignages d’observations contemporaines de ces engins les ont souvent décrits fonctionnant ainsi, et comme s’ils étaient chromés, « étincelants »… Science extra-terrestre d’autant plus parfaite pour les narrateurs de cette époque qu’ils n’étaient guère évolués scientifiquement…

La voix de Yahwé

La « voix », dite de Yahwé, était confondue avec le grondement que produisait l’effet sonore intense de la propulsion de son engin spatial. Les narrateurs ne surent tout simplement pas comprendre technologiquement ce qui l’engendrait et l’attribuèrent à Yahwé qui résidait dans sa « splendeur » aérienne, confondant le contenant du contenu.

(Psaumes 29:3-10) : « La voix de Yahwé retentit sur les eaux… Le « dieu » de gloire (le vaisseau très lumineux assimilé à Yahwé) fait gronder le « tonnerre » (sonorité assimilée au tonnerre)… La « voix » de Yahwé est puissante, majestueuse.

Elle brise les cèdres du Liban (trop près du sol et volant au-dessus d’une forêt, le souffle associé au grondement peut en effet briser des branches ou des arbres) et les fait bondir comme des veaux (-belle description d’arbres cassés ou déracinés projetés en tous sens par le souffle puissant du ou des réacteurs chasse et fait bondir).

Elle dépouille les forêts… La « voix » de Yahwé fait jaillir des flammes de feu (ce que font aussi les tuyères de nos modernes fusées). La « voix » de Yahwé fait trembler le désert (même chose à Cap Kennedy ou à Kourou…).

Elle fait enfanter les biches (Petit détail intéressant là encore. On connaît en effet le phénomène bien connu des lieux d’élevage que survolent les avions de chasse à basse altitude. Leur grondement fait avorter de peur les femelles gravides, phénomène qui cause de nos jours de sévères pertes aux éleveurs.)

Preuve si besoin était que les auteurs de l’époque confondaient Yahvé et son engin, cette citation : « Le bruit des ailes des chérubins se fit entendre jusqu’au parvis extérieur, pareil à la voix du Dieu tout puissant lorsqu’il parle.”

(Ezéchiel 10 : 5)

Interventions aériennes dans les guerres

Sachant que les Hébreux seraient confrontés à d’autres peuplades et peuples puissants qui les traiteraient en ennemis au cours de la pérégrination qu’ils allaient entreprendre sous sa conduite, Yahwé les rassura en ces termes, leur promettant d’intervenir militairement à leur place : « Yahwé combattra pour vous ; et vous, gardez le silence (ne faites rien) … » ( Exode 14 : 14)

« J’enverrai ma « terreur » devant toi, je mettrai en déroute tous les peuples chez lesquels tu arriveras et je les ferais tourner le dos devant toi…J’enverrai les « frelons » devant toi, et ils chasseront loin de toi les Héviens, les Cananéens… » (Exode 23:27,28)

« L’Éternel, ton Dieu, enverra même les « frelons » contre eux, jusqu’à la destruction de ceux qui échapperont et qui se cacheront devant toi. » (Deutéronome 7 : 20-22)

Il est intéressant de noter que Dassault nomma deux hélicoptères de combat « frelon » et « super-frelon »… Il avait forcément compris, ayant lu les écrits de Moïse, que les « frelons » de Yahwé étaient des engins de guerre aériens. Il est bien entendu que les mêmes causes produisent les mêmes effets -en l’occurrence nominative.

La liste des récits relatant les destructions que Yahwé fit du ciel au bénéfice des Hébreux à l’encontre des peuples qui pouvaient s’opposer à eux est impressionnante. Il n’est pas étonnant que, bien plus tard, David écrivit :

« Venez, contemplez les oeuvres de l’Éternel : les ravages qu’il a opérés sur la Terre… C’est lui qui a fait cesser les combats jusqu’au bout de la Terre ; il a brisé les arcs, il a rompu les lances, il a consumé par le feu les chars de guerre… » (Psaumes 46:9)

« Des cieux on combattit, de leurs sentiers les « étoiles » combattirent contre Sisera… » (Juges 5:20)

A-t-on jamais vu des étoiles combattre et lancer de grosses « pierres » sur des combattants au sol ?… Lorsqu’un ovni de 12 à 20 m de diamètre vole en phase lumineuse à une certaine altitude, il est vu du sol comme une étoile… C’est une telle « étoile » qui guida les Rois mages et les bergers vers Jésus à sa naissance…

Il est ridicule et vain pour les astronomes de chercher à faire croire que « l’étoile » évoquée était une comète.

L’Evangile dit que cette « étoile » guida ces hommes sur une longue distance, puis s’arrêta finalement, selon le texte de l’Evangile, juste au-dessus du lieu de la naissance de Jésus.

La recherche des astronomes est vaine et ridicule par le fait que la Science humaine refuse obstinément d’admettre la réalité des extraterrestres.

Ovnis dans les batailles

Voici maintenant le compte-rendu d’une intervention aérienne de Yahwé impliquant divers types d’engins qui se déroula pour sauver David d’une situation conflictuelle difficile pour lui :

« Dans ma détresse, j’ai invoqué l’Eternel. De son « palais » (aérien), il entendit ma voix. La terre fut ébranlée et trembla (comme le fait une fusée à Cap Kennedy).

Il s’élevait de la fumée dans ses « narines » (des deux trous d’échappement du moteur de son engin ?) et du feu dévorant sortait de sa « bouche » (de sa tuyère de propulsion ?) il en jaillissait des charbons embrasés (des scories).

Il s’abaissa des cieux, et il descendit : il y avait une épaisse « Nuée » sous ses pieds (son vaisseau aérien) il faisait des ténèbres une tente autour de lui, il était enveloppé d’amas d’eaux et de sombres nuages (autrement dit, son vaisseau était environné de la condensation structurelle se formant autour de l’engin, ce qui avait pour effet de le rendre sombre). Il était monté sur un « chérubin » et il volait.

Les Perses appelaient « Keroubïm » les humanoïdes de petites tailles qu’ils savaient « piloter les chars des dieux ». Dans la suite des temps, ce nom engloba l’engin et son pilote. L’Eglise catholique ne retint que la petite taille des « Keroubïm » et en fit des « angelots » de plâtre qui servirent à enjoliver les églises)….

« De la « Splendeur » qui le précédait s’échappait ses « Nuées » lançant de la grêle et des charbons de feu. »

Cette évocation découla pour les Hébreux de l’inexplicable vision de l’engin sans doute lumineux et coloré qui précédait le vaisseau-mère de Yahwé.

Une sorte de porte-avions aérien duquel sortaient les « Nuées » -des ovnis plus petits qui bombardaient les ennemis des Hébreux, « la grêle et des charbons de feu » n’étant rien d’autre que des bombes ou munitions explosives. à noter que ce passage témoigne encore une fois de la confusion qui est faite entre Yahvé et son engin spatial.

« Le « Très-Haut » (l’engin) fit retentir sa « voix » (le grondement de l’un de ses propulseurs) et il lança des flèches (des missiles) et dispersa mes ennemis par le bruit du souffle de ses « narines »… Il étendit d’en haut sa main et il me saisit, et il me délivra de mes adversaires… » (2 Samuel 22: 7-18 / Psaumes 18 : 7-18).

Le récit suivant rend compte d’une autre intervention militaire aérienne de Yahwé, qui eut recours au bombardement contre une coalition armée qui risquait fort de vaincre les Hébreux trop peu nombreux :

« Comme ils fuyaient devant Israël, et qu’ils étaient à la descente de Beth Horon, l’Éternel fit tomber du ciel sur eux de grosses pierres jusqu’à Azéka, et ils périrent ; ceux qui moururent par les pierres de grêle furent plus nombreux que ceux qui furent tués avec l’épée par les enfants d’Israël. » (Josué 10 : 10; 11).

Bien évidemment, les « pierres » évoquées, selon la conception archaïque qu’en eurent les Hébreux, étaient tout simplement des bombes.

« Les « chars » de l’Eternel se comptent par vingt mille, par milliers et par milliers; Yahwé est au milieu d’eux… » (Psaumes 68:18)

« De ton « sanctuaire » (aérien), ô « dieu », tu es redoutable. » (Psaumes 68:36)

Comme il est donné de le constater, Yahwé disposait d’une flotte aérienne impressionnante. Son appelé « sanctuaire » n’était autre que son vaisseau-amiral d’une puissance aérienne dépeinte comme redoutable.

Interventions aériennes de nos jours… ?

« L’Eternel est un grand Roi sur toute la Terre, il nous assujettit les peuples… » (Psaumes 47 : 3)

Cette dernière citation révèle que Yahwé fut concrètement un Roi célèbre sur la Terre et que, du ciel, avec ses vaisseaux spatiaux, il combattait les opposants aux Hébreux et leur en assujettit quelques-uns… Il ne faudra pas s’étonner qu’il fasse de même à nouveau, si Jérusalem devient l’enjeu d’un conflit opposant Israéliens et Arabes.

C’est avec ces engins aériens que Yahwé, aussi surnommé le « dieu des armées » et son armée intervenaient du ciel contre les opposants au peuple d’Israël. Ce qu’il semble avoir encore fait récemment, mais moins spectaculairement qu’autrefois, cette fois, au bénéfice d’Israël lors de la « Guerre des 6 jours » qui le vit s’affronter contre une coalition militaire arabe. L’information parut dans le quotidien bien connu « Le Figaro » du 11 août 1977.  La voici :

DES OVNIS PILOTÉS PAR DES ANGES

« Robert Barry, Directeur du Bureau des OVNI à Toe, et Pennsylvanie, et publicitaire distingué, est persuadé que l’Etat d’Israël est protégé par des « Objets Volants Non Identifiés » envoyés par DIEU (en réalité par Yahwé) et pilotés par des « anges ». Ce Bureau tient actuellement sa sixième conférence annuelle au Cap May dans le New-Jersey, avec une participation de 185 croyants (au Christianisme et aux OVNIs).

Un certain nombre de communications ont affirmé qu’il y avait eu une recrudescence d’OVNI dans les périodes de guerre israélo-arabe de 1947-1948, 1956 (à cette époque-là, cela s’appelait des « soucoupes volantes »), de 1967 et 1973 et que cela avait fait pencher la balance en faveur des Israéliens. Monsieur Barry a également déclaré que des rapports secrets israéliens et américains établissent que des parachutistes israéliens ont été sauvés, au cours de la guerre de 1967, par des « miracles » alors que la présence d’OVNI était signalée au-dessus du champ de bataille… etc… ».

Faut-il douter de l’exactitude de cette information ? Pour ma part, je ne pense pas qu’un quotidien comme le Figaro s’amuserait à fabuler. Il semble donc que, plus discrètement mais, comme il y a 3300 ans, les extraterrestres du camp de Yahwé continuent à protéger Israël.

Selon ce que la première partie de la Bible enseigne, mais aussi bien d’autres Mythes ancestraux, il y a 3 à 4000 ans, les « Dieux » s’étant partagés la terre, faisaient des ravages sur tous les continents en fonction de stratégies hégémoniques.

Aucune autre explication n’est plausible et possible au regard de cette description qu’il est souhaitable de transposer sur ce que nous connaissons maintenant de l’aviation et des fusées pour en saisir pleinement le sens.

NASA UFOs: "The Tether Incident" - Image Analysis

On Sunday, February 25, 1996, the Space Shuttle Columbia deployed an experimental tether into orbit. 

The experiment was called the Tethered Satellite System (TSS- 1R) and it's purpose of this was to attempt to generate electricity by utilizing Earth's magnetic field. 

Unfortunately the tether broke so the experiment was not a success, although approximately five hours of data were recorded. 

What really made "The Tether Incident" famous was the appearance of many unidentified flying objects (UFOs) clearly visible in the NASA footage.

One of the most controversial segments of video footage in the NASA archives is the TSS-1R "tether incident" footage, shot back in early 1996 during shuttle mission STS-75. As compelling as that original raw video is however, the addition of flightpath/velocity tracking plots and the application of Image-Stabilization/Shake-Reduction techniques can provide a new and more revealing way of analyzing what is considered by many to already be some rather impressive evidence. 

IMAGE STABILIZATION/SHAKE-REDUCTION 

In addition to the three flightpath/velocity "stable sequences" analyzed in this presentation, I have also included several pan/tilt/zoom "shake sequences" from the raw flyby footage as well, showing those segments with "Image-Stabilization/Shake-Reduction" applied in an effort to make them easier to interpret. In those motion-corrected examples, I elected to use the highly visible 19695-meter-long free-drifting tether as the target feature to match and mount each successive frame of raw footage to. 

Unfortunately, there are several negative factors related to the camera system employed to shoot this footage, and together those issues serve to make these scenes rather difficult to properly stabilize. Firstly, any pan or tilt commands sent to the camera's two-axis PTU (Pan/Tilt Unit) result in very abrupt shifts to the FOV which are immediately followed by a brief period of servo/clutch bouncing. This bouncing effect is caused by the PTU having to absorb the inertial forces generated when the mass of the camera body (mounted to the PTU) was rapidly panned and/or tilted.  

The lack of positive control where the camera struggles to return the scene to a normal stable state is most obvious in the higher magnification sequences, with the "bouncing" effect appearing to be due to the astronauts sending the camera movement commands to the PTU using what was called HIGH-RATE control mode (12 degrees of camera movement per second) rather than the far-less-abrupt LOW-RATE movement setting (1.2 degrees per second) that should have been employed. 

Stabilization of these shake sequences is further complicated by the gamma, gain and iris (f-stop) control settings of the camera, which during the tether flyby appears to have been set in what was called "Black Stretch" (or "night") mode.  

"Black Stretch" provided the astronauts and MCC an additional gain output capability that improved the camera's low-light viewing characteristics, but an undesired consequence was that whenever the rapid (HIGH-RATE) camera movement occurs and the FOV bounces, it results in rather severe contrast trailing effects (residual ghosting) that bleeds light off each visible object in a direction 180-degrees opposite of the camera movement. This obfuscates the scene by significantly lowering the number of stable (or near-stable) frames available for inclusion in the shake-corrected sequences.  

Making matters even worse is the fact that we are forced to contend with an absolutely brutal contrast gradient/reflection that reveals itself across the full FOV during each of the zoomed-in sequences. The appearance of this gradient and its effect on the scene during stabilization can be seen quite readily in the sequence I show starting at the 2:15 mark.  

When the initial camera movement and follow-on bouncing occurs in the raw footage, the gradient remains essentially stable while the objects in the FOV move around. When the scene is stabilized however, the camera movement is effectively canceled out but the once-stable gradient/reflection, because it is a product of the camera/lens system, now appears to bounce in the FOV instead, with the gradient divide crossing back and forth over the relevant objects in frame and blurring them further.  

Still, even with all those negatives working against us, these motion-corrected sequences do provide a different and slightly cleaner look at the tether footage, so I felt they were worthy of inclusion here.

CONTACT NETWORK HISTORY PROJECT

CONTACTEES, SIGHTINGS AND THE CONSCIOUSNESS CONNECTION 

The author’s personal comment: Twenty-four years ago I took a walk on the wild side. I joined a group that had the audacity to go out at night and try to co-create contact experiences with the intelligence associated with the so-called UFO phenomenon. To my surprise and initial delight we were immediately successful. During our first month of teamwork we had a number of sightings while in the field. 

But stranger still was that this “Otherness That Experiencers Now Call ET” (TOTENCET) targeted us to have individual sightings under circumstances that were not associated with conducting “contact protocols.” One senior member of team reported receiving the following telepathic communication while viewing a large glowing orb flying above her driveway, “You wanted to see us; well here we are.” 

SYNOPSIS: Contact groups attempt to interact with UFO intelligence under fieldwork conditions. The pattern of encounters experienced however also includes individual researchers having personal sightings of UFOs while not doing fieldwork. Three case reports of this phenomenon are described in synopsis form. The implications of this apparent consciousness link between contact groups and UFO intelligence are discussed. 

INTRODUCTION 
UFO contact teams like the CE-5 Initiative, and the Peruvian based group called Rahma facilitate contact experiences with combined programs of psychic/ spiritual training and active fieldwork. These groups emphasize the importance of mental connections between contact workers and UFO intelligence. 

I organized a contact team in 1992 and for over 5 years served as a Working Group Coordinator for Dr Steven Greer’s Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence. In 1998 I resigned from that position but continued how to work with Rama, and unaffiliated networks of contact activists. 

HIGH STRANGENESS DEFINED 

As a former Working Group Coordinator of the CE-5 Initiative in Los Angeles I had ample opportunities to observe unusual occurrences. According to official CSETI documents "High Strangeness" was defined as "The inexplicable effects and often synchronicity of events related to and occurring before, during and after various Close Encounters or UFO/Extraterrestrial Spacecraft sightings." 

By definition one cannot explain the inexplicable, nevertheless one can endeavor to describe the inexplicable and in the process possibly gain insight into the mechanisms of contact. 

INITIAL EXPECTATIONS WERE WAY OFF BASE 

My initial expectation after becoming Working Group Coordinator in 1992 was that UFO sightings would occur as an exclusive function of fieldwork. I anticipated that as my team mastered the contact protocols, we would experience higher and higher levels of what Dr Greer labeled “CE-5s” and that this would occur in a stepwise fashion. 

To my surprise however, as soon as our Working Group started to carry out field investigations, a number of individuals started reporting personal sightings of UFOs. The witnesses to these sightings were members of the team, or as in one case the physician wife of a LA CSETI researcher. In her case she became very interested in UFOs as the result of her daylight sighting of a metallic disc. (For confidentiality purposes, all researchers other than Dr. Burkes will be identified by pseudonyms.) 

SIGHTINGS NOT DURING FIELDWORK BUT WHILE DRIVING HOME IN THE CAR 

These events transpired while the observers were driving home. It is important to note that the first series of sightings occurred during the initial month following the CSETI workshop in August of 1992 that founded the Los Angeles CSETI Working Group. Just 2 days after Dr. Greer's demonstration of fieldwork techniques, the first personal sighting occurred 

INDIVIDUAL SIGHTING 1, Sept. 1, 1992 

Joseph Burkes MD: while driving home on the 405 Freeway South the Sepulveda Pass at approximately 11:30 PM I had a sighting of an anomalous nocturnal light. It appeared over the highway as a brilliant blue-green light that silently flew by the witness in a northerly direction. It had a slight oscillating movement. At its closest approach light was less than 500 feet away. There was no discernible superstructure associated with the object. This impressed me because of the considerable amount of background illumination from city lights. 

The sighting occurred immediately after I had carried out a vigorous defense of CSETI's contact program to several prominent ufologists. In my opinion these senior researchers were not particularly supportive of the concept of proactively initiating contact. 

Individual Sighting 2, September 23, 1992 

At 2:30 PM a broad daylight sighting of a metallic disc occurred in Woodland Hills California. Dr. Burkes’ colleague Dr. Maria (a pseudonym) observed the UFO hovering two to three miles away over the Santa Monica Mountains. She was driving south towards her home when the sighting occurred. She is a partner in same medical group practice that I was in at that time. Maria is married to “Dr Daniel” who was an original member of my contact team. 

Maria was accustomed to identifying conventional craft as the result of her husband's status as a private pilot. It was their custom to attend air shows and other aviation related events and as a result she was knowledgeable about various types of conventional aircraft. Maria reported feeling confident that the silently hovering disc, glittering in the bright afternoon sunshine was a” true unknown.” The object was approximately 30 feet in length. The sighting lasted about one minute. 

Individual Sighting 3, September 24, 1992; 
While driving home at 9:30 PM after attending a two-hour meditation workshop, a 25-feet in diameter metallic globe-like craft was sighted hovering directly above the witness' home in Palos Verdes Peninsula. 

Dotha was a founding member of the Los Angeles CE-5 Initiative team. An experienced sky watcher, she had no doubt that it was not a terrestrial craft. The sighting lasted approximately one minute; at its closest approach the silent object was less that 200 feet from the observer. 

SIGHTINGS ARE CLUES TO DECIPHER A MYSTERY 

As the months rolled by after these dramatic sightings, I started to muse over the details of my associates’ personal sightings. I looked for possible hidden meanings within the circumstances of the encounters that might contain some kind of message relating to the on-going contact work. Perhaps like a detective in a mystery novel, I kept mulling over the various aspects of the sightings. If those particulars were clues, then I was going to use them to solve the mystery as to what was going on within my contact team visa vie our relationship with flying saucer intelligence. 

My hypothesis was that perhaps these consecutive sightings were not random events, that they might in fact be the product of conscious decisions by intelligent and technologically sophisticated extraterrestrial beings that staged the encounters for teaching purposes. 

CONVENTIONAL WISDOM DOESN’T APPLY TO ALLEGED ALIENS 

I wondered whether factors like the choice of individuals selected for the sightings, or perhaps even more minute factors might have special significance. Michael Lindemann, a prominent student of non-human intelligence, has cautioned ufologists to never assume that one can think like an alien. In other words we should not try to impose what passes as human “conventional wisdom” on beings that may have evolved on different star systems. 

Such extraterrestrial civilizations would undoubtedly have entirely different cultures, different value systems, and different social organizations as compared to Earth. With such infinite possibilities, perhaps a technologically advanced civilization for purposes unknown to us might choose to communicate via outlandishly subtle means. 

AMAZINGLY CONGRUENT CHARACTERISTICS 

It should be remembered that approximately 10% of the US population claim to have had a sighting of a UFO. In terms of an individual’s lifetime of experiences however, a sighting is an exceedingly rare event for most people. The fact that these three individuals who knew each other had a sighting within a few weeks should diminish the odds that they were mere coincidences. 

Even less likely to occur by chance is the fact that the circumstances of the sightings were highly congruent. The observers were all driving home and were alone in their vehicles. Even the direction of travel was the same; we were all going south when the encounters took place. 

PASSIONATE DEFENSE OF PROACTIVELY SEEKING CONTACT. 

In my sighting, I had just left a meeting after engaging in a heated polemic defending CSETI's program of human initiated interactions with what I believed at the time was an extraterrestrial intelligence. Present at the meeting was the “old guard” of UFOlogy. Prominent researcher Ann Druffel was there. She explained to me that as “ufologists” we should study other people’s sightings to determine if they are “anomalous” i.e. “true unknowns.” 

In no uncertain terms I labeled her approach “old fashioned” and that contact groups like CSETI’s had “opened up a new era” in UFO research. As I left the meeting it was clear that I would never again be invited back to the prestigious “LA UFO Study Group.” 

I interpreted my sighting just minutes after leaving the meeting as a message of support, not only for me personally, but also for the larger contact program that I had just so vigorously defended. The sighting gave me a big personal boost that helped sustain my enthusiasm for our project during the difficult months that followed. Considering the organizational and personal challenges that face any new contact team, I will gladly testify that leaders need all the support that they can get. 

MEDITATION FACILITATES CONTACT 

Concerning Dotha's close encounter with a luminescent globe like UFO, she had just left a meditation workshop. Contact protocols employed by contactee groups involve on-site thought projection methods. Usually this involves guided meditation. In preparation for thought projection, individuals in the team are expected to reach an “expanded state of consciousness” through meditation. 

Dotha told me that she thought there was an association between her meditating in the class and her subsequent sighting. If the non-human intelligence responsible for the flying saucer phenomenon were attempting to send my team a message concerning the importance of advanced meditation techniques, what better way to do so than to stage a close encounter just moments after a prolonged meditation session by an experienced practitioner. 

Thus two of the three sightings described occurred immediately after the witnesses were involved in activities integral to contact work. 

WHY DID DR. MARIA HAVE A SIGHTING? 

The most intriguing aspect of this series was the question why was Dr. Maria singled out for a sighting. Although her interest in UFOs soared after seeing the metallic disc, prior to the event her contact with the UFO phenomenon was indirect. It was her husband Dr. Daniel who was the contact activist in the family. 

During the autumn months of 1992 our team frequently convened at Maria and Daniel's house for our business meetings. Meditation is not an easy chore for all researchers; both Daniel and I were both having considerable difficulty meditating. We were restless, as many are, when one first attempts to still the mind. Daniel was not able to follow the recommendation of meditating daily. 

Maria on the other hand was far more open to meditation practice. It was not until several months later, in December of 1992 that she was to undergo formal contact network training by Dr Greer, and as a result she was officially not part of the Working Group when we first held meetings at her home. 

I was quite perplexed as to why she had received a sighting? Dotha and I were active and official members of the team, why was Maria, a non-member, selected for such a dramatic daylight sighting of a metallic disk? 

The answer came to me one night as we conducted our business meeting at Maria and Daniel's home. My beeper rang and I had to call the hospital. Maria was in the family room practicing on her harp. An accomplished amateur, she often gave recitals. I asked Daniel where I could pick up a phone away from the meeting. Daniel suggested that I take the call in the family room. 

"No," I replied, "I don't want to disturb Maria." 

Daniel reassured me by saying, "Don't worry. She practices at least an hour a day. When she's playing her music she's in a total trance." 

It was then that it hit me! That was the clue that I had been looking for. Maria although not yet part of the Working Group, was still able to access consciousness in its most unbounded form while she was practicing the harp. In that relaxed state of being carried away by the divine music that she was creating, a trance like state similar to deep meditation was achieved. Her meditation equivalent was her music! 

It seemed to me this was possibly part of the message that I was supposed to learn from her sighting. If my hunch was correct, I was impressed by its subtlety. 

Personal sightings were clearly linked, not only in time, but also coincided in a variety of other important details, thus indicating that they are not random events. In their totality the patterns of personal interactions confirm the proposition that contact groups have entered into a special collaborative relationship with what in my opinion might well be an extraterrestrial intelligence. 

CONCLUSION 

I believe that these sightings are part of a much broader range of experiences that indicate the virtuoso psychic technology of what I like to call, This Otherness That Experiencers Now Call ET, the so-called aliens. They, who or whatever “they” ultimately turn out to be, were able to track the three of us and choose the time and place of what were clearly in my view staged events. If “they” could do that with us perhaps there is no such thing as a “random UFO sighting.” I am suggesting that the millions of people that report UFO sightings are telepathically linked to “this otherness.” For me the implications of this proposition are awe-inspiring for the following reasons 

The Earth’s population is over 7 billion at this time. If the prevalence rate of a UFO sighting is 10 percent, this suggests that hundreds of millions of people may have a consciousness link with the UFO intelligence by virtue of their having a sighting. Understandably such individuals often have an increased interest in the subject of flying saucers. Under the right circumstances, for example if they had additional sightings or were in an area where a UFO wave had occurred, they then might join the growing number of people that are proactively seeking interactions with UFO intelligence. As one that has promoted human empowered contact with flying saucer intelligence for over two decades, I find this possibility very encouraging.

UFO expert Max Spiers 'vomited black fluid' before his death, inquest hears

The death earlier this year of Max Spiers, a British Ufologist, has continued to prompt intense speculation among conspiracy theorists, as an inquest in Kent this week heard he "vomited two litres of black fluid" shortly before he died.

Spiers, 39, originally from Canterbury, was found dead at an friend's apartment in Warsaw in July.

Local authorities initially stated he had died from natural causes – but his mother Vanessa Bates approached the media to express doubts over the verdict.

As an inquest into Mr Spiers' death opened in Canterbury last Monday, Mrs Bates told reporters: “It’s been a long time coming, but I’m just relieved that at last something is happening and there is a proper investigation and inquest."

In a statement, coroner’s investigations officer Caroline O’Donnell told the inquest: “Mr Spiers became ill with a high temperature and was weak."

According to the Kentish Gazette, the following day Mr Spiers vomited two litres of black fluid.

“The friend called a doctor who attempted resuscitation before pronouncing him dead.”

A few days before his death Mr Spiers had sent his mother a text message saying: “If anything happens to me, investigate.”

Mrs Bates, an English teacher, said in October: "[Max] was making a name for himself in the world of conspiracy theorists and had been invited to speak at a conference in Poland in July.

"He was staying with a woman who he had not known for long and she told me how she found him dead on the sofa.

"But I think Max had been digging in some dark places and I fear that somebody wanted him dead."

Coroner Alan Blunsdon told the inquest he was waiting to receive a report from Polish authorities, and that he hopes to have Mr Spiers’ laptop and mobile phone forensically analysed.

The inquest has been adjourned until February 22.

Earlier this year author and journalist Nick Pope, who investigated the UFO phenomenon for the Ministry of Defence in the early Nineties, said on Twitter: “The death of Max Spiers was a tragedy, but having run the UK Government's UFO project I promise we don't go around killing UFO researchers.”

Flames lick a scorched crater after a strange object was spotted falling to Earth - sparking claims it was a UFO crash.

The amazing footage shows the large, smouldering hole surrounded by singed ground in Fugu County in north-eastern China, reports People's Daily Online.

A local, only identified as Zhang, told how he heard a deep boom coming from the sky before an object plummeted through the clouds and smashed into the earth.

He said it was moving extremely fast as it plunged from the heavens towards the mountain range.

Zhang added: "It made a loud bang when it hit the ground.

"Then it started burning. The dry grass nearby was quickly set aflame."

Other villagers raced to the 'crash site' and were amazed to see a the huge crater but oddly it appeared to be empty.

The bizarre incident triggered a wave of speculation across the globe as to what was behind the phenomenon.

UFO enthusiasts insist there have been 10 'confirmed' alien crash sites, including one in Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk.

The video was posted on QQ.com this week and is thought to have been filmed by an eye-witness.

UFO CONSPIRACY THEORIST SLURS 'BEFORE' 'VOMITING FLUID' AND DYING

A conspiracy theorist whose mum believes he was 'murdered by his enemies' vomited two litres of black fluid shortly before he died, an inquest heard.

Max Spiers, 39, sought to expose government cover-ups and visited Poland to speak at a conference before he died on a sofa 24 hours later.

Just days before his death, the dad-of-two had texted his mum Vanessa Bates the chilling message: "Your boy's in trouble. If anything happens, investigate."

Mr Spiers, a world-renowned conspiracy theorist from Canterbury, Kent, was said to have been probing into the lives of well-known figures in politics, business and entertainment.

He made a name for himself investigating UFO sightings and alleged cover-ups.

His mum, 63, said: "I think Max had been digging in some dark places and somebody wanted him dead."

Mr Spiers, who went to school with Orlando Bloom, had visited Poland after holidaying in Cyprus with a friend, who later discovered his body.

The inquest at Canterbury coroner's court into his death in Otwock on July 16 opened on Monday after his body was repatriated.

Polish authorities had initially dismissed his death as being down to natural causes, but a post-mortem examination at Margate Hospital, Kent, was unable to determine how he died.

In a statement, coroner's investigations officer Caroline O'Donnell said: "When they returned, Mr Spiers became ill with a high temperature and was weak.

"The following day, Mr Spiers vomited two litres of black fluid.

"The friend called a doctor who attempted resuscitation before pronouncing him dead."

Mr Spiers had lived in America for a few years, but had returned to Canterbury to stay with his mum before jetting off to Poland.

Vanessa, an English teacher who also buys into the theories, said: "He was making a name for himself in the world of conspiracy theorists and had been invited to speak at a conference in Poland in July.

"He was staying with a woman who he had not known for long and she told me how she found him dead on the sofa.

"But I think Max had been digging in some dark places and I fear that somebody wanted him dead.

"Max was a very fit man who was in good health and yet he apparently just died suddenly on a sofa.

"All I have is a death certificate from the Polish authorities that it was from natural causes, but no post-mortem was done so how can they tell that?

"They are also refusing to release any paperwork about it to me because, absurdly, I don't have his written permission."

Coroner Alan Blunsdon told the court he was still awaiting a report from Polish authorities.

He also hopes to secure funding to have Mr Spiers' laptop and mobile phone forensically analysed.

Fellow conspiracy theorists, UFO investigators and bloggers have claimed the circumstances of the death suspicious.

On one website, blogger Project Camelot wrote: "The entire circumstances are suspicious and I urge everyone to encourage the release of details about what really happened and call for an autopsy."

Another, Craig Hewlett, added: "If it wasn't true what he talks about then why would they kill him? Healthy people don't just get sick and die, they get poisoned."

His mum added: "It's been a long time coming, but I'm just relieved that at last something is happening and there is a proper investigation and inquest."

She previously spoke of her belief that her son was murdered: "These people (who Max was mixing with) appeared to be involved with some very dark and dangerous areas of the world.

"I was afraid that as he was gaining popularity and fame that perhaps someone would want him out of the way, i.e. not alive any longer. I believe somebody's killed him.

"He has a brother, Josh, and sister, Becky, who are both devastated, as are his two boys. We all want answers to this and I will continue to fight to get to the truth."

Mr Spiers was buried in Canterbury after his family had his body flown home a week after his death.

The inquest continues.
