UFOs Seen Over USAF Missile And Nuclear Facilities
UFOs Seen Over USAF Missile And Nuclear Facilities
George A. Filer
majorstar@aol.com
Director, Mutual UFO Network
Eastern MUFON Skywatch Investigations
Filer's Files #17 SPECIAL REPORT 4-25-2
The Disclosure Project reports that several military and intelligence witnesses who were members of the Strategic Air Command (SAC) and other nuclear specialists have come forward with testimony proving that UFOs are real and appear to be concerned about our nuclear weapons. The Project has obtained the firsthand testimony of several such insiders whose documents and corroborating testimony proves that UFOs have monitored sensitive nuclear facilities since at least the 1950s. While the UFOs were not hostile, it was made clear that they were very concerned about human weapons of mass destruction. On one occasion, UFOs over a SAC Nuclear launch area took more than a dozen intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) off line.
Lt. Colonel Dwynne Arneson: US Air Force,.ret. states,:
"I was the top-secret control officer at Malmstom AFB for the 20th Air Division. I happened to see a message that came through my communications center. It said...that 'A UFO was seen near missile silos'...and it was hovering. It said that the crew going on duty and the crew coming off duty all saw the UFO just hovering in midair. It was a metallic circular object and from what I understand, the missiles were all shut down. What I mean by 'missiles going down' is that they went dead. And something turned those missiles off, so they couldn't be put back in a mode for launching."
Captain Robert Salas: SAC Missile Launch Officer [1964-1971]:
"The UFO incident happened on the morning of March 16, 1967, at Oscar Flight one of five launch control facilities assigned to the 490th Strategic Missile Squadron. I received a call from my topside security guard...and he said that he and some of the guards had been observing some strange lights flying around the site and the launch control facility. I said, you mean UFO? He said, well, he didn't know what they were but they were lights and were flying around. They were not airplanes; they were not helicopters, they weren't making any noise... [A little later] our missiles started shutting down one by one. By shutting down, I mean they went into a "no-go" condition meaning they could not be launched. These weapons were Minuteman One missiles and were of course nuclear-tipped warhead missiles...this incident was of extreme concern to SAC headquarters because they couldn't explain it."
Colonel Ross Dedrickson:US Air Force/Atomic Energy Commission, ret.): "
After retiring from the Air Force I joined the Boeing company and was responsible for accounting for all of the nuclear fleet of Minuteman missiles. In this incident they actually photographed the UFO following the missile as it climbed into space and, shining a beam on it, neutralized the missile. I also learned of a number of incidents such as a couple of nuclear weapons sent into space were destroyed by the extraterrestrials. Our government sent a nuclear weapon for explosion on the moon's surface...[And] the ETs destroyed the weapon as it went toward the moon. [Apparently] the idea of any explosion in space by any Earth government was not acceptable to the extraterrestrials, and that has been demonstrated over and over."
Professor Robert Jacobs: Lt. USAF 1369th Photo Squadron:
"...we were testing ballistic missiles that were to deliver nuclear weapons on target...my duty [was] to supervise the instrumentation photography of every missile that went down in that western test range...and into the frame came something else. It flew into the frame and shot a beam of light at the warhead. Now, remember, all this stuff was flying at several thousand miles an hour, so this thing fires a beam of light at the warhead, hits it, The warhead tumbles out of space. The object, the points of light that we saw, the warhead and so forth, were traveling through subspace about sixty miles straight up, and they were going somewhere in the neighborhood of eleven to fourteen thousand miles an hour, when this thing caught up to them, flew in, flew around them, and flew back out."
Mr. Harland Bentley:
"I have been in a graduate program for nuclear engineeringand have been working contracts since 1963: NASA, Department of Energy, and several other electronics firms in the DC area. I was at a facility in California.doing classified workwhich I can't say too much about..Our astronauts were doing a loop around the moon in 1967 or 1968I heard them say they had a bogey [term used to denote UFOs]it was another type of ship. There were portals that they could see into. They could see beings of some sort. They did not describe these beings, they just took photographs. They just said it was a saucer shaped craft. Then they said, 'There they go,' and they [the bogey] went out of sight almost immediately."
The Disclosure Project, a nonprofit research and public interest group, has identified hundreds of military, intelligence, government and corporate witnesses. See: http://www.DisclosureProject.org.
Editors Notes: I have met or talked to many of the witnesses who have impressive UFO knowledge that they obtained while working for the government. Very few UFO investigators have the first hand knowledge these witnesses possess.
Is there anybody or anything out there? It's long been a question that has puzzled and perplexed people, and suspected UFO sightings add to the mystery and the debate as to whether aliens exist.
There have been a number of reported sightings of unidentified flying objects in Derbyshire over recent years which have left residents wondering if we really have been visited by extra-terrestrial beings. Here, we take a look back at all of the reported sightings in recent years, including a bright blue phenomenon in Swadlincote.
What was the big blue flash in the skies over Swadlincote?
Some reported issues such as power outages following the dazzling flash on August 25, 2016, and speculation began as to what the cause of the flash was. There were also suggestions that it could be aliens, others predicted it was a UFO, while there was even speculation of a zombie apocalypse – as well as a more simple explanation such as it being a bolt of lightning.
Andrew Dickson of AND Photography has sent in footage of the blue flash captured on his dash cam. The flash can be seen in the distance, clearly lighting up the sky. Mr Dickson said: "I wondered what on earth it was, as it certainly didn't seem like normal lightening."
Flashing lights over Bretby and Newhall
Could this have been visitors from another world? Credit: Sasha Hall
One reader videoed what she thought was a UFO flying over South Derbyshire in June 2015. Sasha Hall spotted these flashing lights in the sky while out and about between Bretby and Newhall.
Ernest Redfern, 85, took this picture from his back garden on The Green in Allestree, while trying to capture a rainbow on the horizon.
His sighting sparked a kerfuffle among paranormal fans last February. He got in touch with out sister paper the Derby Telegraph hoping that readers could explain his strange sighting in the sky, which he captured by accident with his camera.
Was there a big flash in the Derbyshire skies?
Reports of an explosion and a large flash in the skies above Derbyshire sparked debate on social media in April 2015. Social media was abuzz with reports of an "orange flash" followed by a "bang" at around 10pm at night. It later emerged that they were due to a fire at a defence company that makes explosives and pyrotechnics.
I saw a UFO on Sunday, and I wasn’t alone. Trouble is, I’m sure there’s a good explanation. Ask any expert.
“Well, what you’re seeing is actually the planet Venus.” But it landed on my lawn. “That’s called atmospheric lensing; it just looks nearer than it is. “It set down on the jungle gym and crushed it.” That’s called the overweight kid from a few houses down playing without permission.” (Indulgent chuckle.)
It made a high screaming noise and 50 geese dropped dead out of the sky with their feathers melted. “We’ve been seeing a lot of fast-acting avian parasites in migratory species lately.”
It took my wife. “Well, you know what they say, men are from Mars, women are from Venus! Call us if you have any other questions.”
Everything can be explained. A few years ago I saw an incredibly fast light streak low across the sky, east to west, parallel to the ground; if it was the International Space Station, they were picking tree leaves out of their antennas for days.
Which brings me back to the alien spacecraft we saw last Sunday. My wife and I were outside. “What’s that?” she said, pointing up. It was a spherical, silver object, like those hard things they use to decorate cakes and make you chip a tooth.
“A child’s balloon,” I said, because as we all know the streets are full of kids carrying helium balloons who are startled by a backfiring car and let go of the string. But — holy crow! — it was surrounded by a swarm of other small objects, some of which were segmented and moving around it.
Wait, no, those are floaters in my eyeball.
A drone? Too high, and we’re right in the flight path for the airport. If you’re some idiot flying a drone around an airport and you see your toy go into a passenger jet’s engine, you drive home really fast wondering if you can wipe that off your Amazon purchase history.
A few days later a story pops up in reddit.com: Anyone see that big UFO over Midway? Sunday afternoon? Cars were pulled over, people were looking up and pointing. City Pages picked up the story, and now here I am moving it up the Ladder of Credible Media Outlets.
But here’s the one nagging question: Where are the pictures?
Everyone has movie cameras in their pockets now. No video of this thing? Well, I can only speak for myself. My iPhone couldn’t zoom enough. I ran upstairs to get my good video camera, pointed it up at the sky — and I got a dead battery alert.
That’s why there’s no pictures. Scientists will tell you: Venus will drain your battery as fast as anything.

EVIDENCE: Extraterrestrial civilizations visited the Earth in the distant past. Ancient civilization – UFO and Extraterrestrial civilization.
EVIDENCE: Extraterrestrial civilizations visited the Earth in the distant past. Ancient civilization – UFO and Extraterrestrial civilization.
Extraterrestrial civilization visited the Earth in the distant past and there is evidence all around us. It isn’t a question anymore, whether or no ancient man was visited by intelligent extraterrestrial beings in the distant past.
A great amount of evidence has been gathered that proves that in the distant past, human beings were visited by beings from another planet. These visitors were misinterpreted by our ancestor as “Gods,” because our ancestor did not understand technology as we do today.
Almost all ancient civilizations that have been studied by researchers and archaeologists point to “myths” and texts of “divine” beings that came from the stars and got involved, in one way or another, with ancient humans on Earth. Ancient Aztecs, Mayas, Incas, and many other ancient civilization make reference to “otherworldly” beings that descended from the sky, considered as divine, since ancient man, did not have the knowledge to explain in another way, these mysterious visitations.
Ancient texts from the Bible are perhaps the best evidence that point to the existence of “otherworldly” beings in the remote past of human history. The myths of creation, the mysterious light that guided the Israelites on the long journey through the desert, the description of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the union of children of the Gods with daughters of men, the power of the Ark of the Covenant and the trip to “heaven” of Elijah and Enoch are just some of the many biblical stories that involve divine beings who come from the skies, incredible technology of the past that was considered by ancient man as being “heavenly” or “divine”.

DONALD KEYHOE, THE US MAJOR THAT WARNED US OF INTERPLANETARY WAR - UFO'S ARE REAL!
DONALD KEYHOE, THE US MAJOR THAT WARNED US OF INTERPLANETARY WAR - UFO'S ARE REAL!
This video shows us the moment Major Donald Keyhoe exposes the truth on the UFO subject and states that UFO's are real. He is a true patriot and was one of the pioneers in exposing the cover-up by government agencies.
In 1956, Major Donald Keyhoe co-founded NICAP whose goal it was to stop the secrecy surrounding the UFO phenomenon. It became the largest and most prominent UFO research group in the US. Former CIA director Hillen Koetter and other military officers and prominent scientists like James McDonald were in ts board of directors.
Major Keyhoe sought congressional hearings, and in 1958 he made efforts to use Senator John McCiellan's committee to start public congressional hearings regarding the UFO mystery. All his attempts were blocked by high-ranking Air Force officials.
In 1958 Keyhoe was invited to join a live broadcast on CBS-TV. The Air Force officials tried to use this broadcast to manipulate the minds and hearts of the American public, which there was no truth in the UFO phenomenon. But they never anticipated to the fact that Keyhoe would use this opportunity to speak out on the UFO subject and publicly state that UFO's are real. Keyhoe tried his best to take the truth to the American public.
Keyhoe releases some interesting details on the United States military and how they handle reports of UFO sightings. He sums up the different theories explaining UFOs, how the government is covering up certain sightings and how this could lead to interplanetary war.
Major Keyhoe put his job on the line to speak out on the subject. This was the reason he was ousted out of NICAP in 1969.

Stunned motorist captures mysterious 'flying disc' being transported by police convoy near secretive US air base
Stunned motorist captures mysterious 'flying disc' being transported by police convoy near secretive US air base
UFO was spotted on the back of a lorry near near the top-secret US Airforce base Wright Patterson USAF where conspiracy theorists claim alien bodies have been hidden away
BY RACHEL BISHOP
A shocked witness stared in disbelief as they watched a UFO apparently being transported by a police convoy on the back of truck.
The anonymous witness said the lorry was driving near top-secret US Airforce Wright Patterson USAF (WPUSAF) base, which is believed to be one of several military bases where the authorities store alien UFOs.
The alleged sighting came to light after the man reported it to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC).
Footage shows several police cars driving past before a lorry comes into shot - carrying what looks like a "flying saucer" - in the Fort Leonard Wood area of Missouri on February 1 at 10.15pm local time.

The location is around 240 miles from WPUSAF which is where conspiracy theorists claim crashed UFOs and even alien bodies, have been hidden away by the military.
Writing to NUFORC, the man said: "I was driving north 15 miles north of Fort Leonard Wood on I-44 north last night at exactly 10.15pm and saw a line of police cars spaced out about a mile with no traffic coming southbound.
"I noticed more police cars with lights keeping traffic held back in the distance about another mile and a semi with flatbed was in the centre.

"As the semi (articulated truck) approached, I couldn't believe that the semi was carrying what appeared to be a saucer shaped object.
"I passed within a hundred or so feet of the semi going in the opposite direction.
"The semi was moving at a moderate speed and the area was somewhat illuminated and my 16-foot Penske truck was elevated so I had a clear view.
"It was dull metallic grey, with thick short legs coming from the center bottom like fence posts, and a thick central body tapering to very thin edges.
Peter Davenport, NUFORC director, responded to the post, highlighting about other sightings of UFOs on the back of trucks(Photo: Andries Riphagen/YouTube)
”It encompassed the whole trailer and was hanging over the edges with no cockpit or windows or markings."
Peter Davenport, NUFORC director, responded to the post, highlighting about other sightings of UFOs on the back of trucks.
He said: "We have heard about that object before, and we believe that it is some kind of space vehicle, used by the US Air Force."
The previous sighting allegedly happened on January 15, 2015, in the Lordsburg area of New Mexico when a "triangle-shaped UFO" was seen being driven in convoy.

UFO in Antarctica: The Final Proof that Aliens Have Landed on Earth? | Conspiracy Theories.VIDEO.
UFO in Antarctica: The Final Proof that Aliens Have Landed on Earth? | Conspiracy Theories.VIDEO.
Mysterious object discovered in Antarctica, immediately provoked a stir among experts on UFOs.
Russian “expert” Valetin Degterev published on social media what he found in Antarctica while using Google Earth. This is a shot of the black spot, which it claims that it was a UFO, who are stuck in ice after an accident three years ago.
“In the endless ice desert is the most original UFO in the most classic form,” said the Russian.
Seemingly ignoring many other rock formations and shadows in this area, Degterev said that “UFO” measuring 20 to 70 meters and is adamant that the object can not be explained by anything other naturally on Earth
“I think this is a very large disc-shaped flying machine frozen in ice,” he said. According to him, there can be no image of any polar station or aircraft or ships lost in the area. “It seems that this is a man-made object from the distant universe,” he insisted.
Nigel Watson, author of a manual on investigating UFO, told MailOnline that it is difficult to say exactly what the image shows, but this place has a “long tradition” when landing alien spacecraft. Experts in Antarctica, however, argue that the black dot is a common tear.
POLICE received eight reports of UFOs and aliens by people who believe ‘the truth is out there’ in recent years, it has been revealed.
According to data obtained through a Freedom of Information request, officers responded to two of the reports after a sighting of two ‘crafts’ over Pendle Hill in 2015 and another in Lytham St Annes the year before.
The service said on both occasions no evidence of UFOs was found by officers.
In March last year the police were contacted over a suspected alien abduction in Accrington and another report was received the next month over a UFO ‘landing’ in Marsden Park, Nelson.
A report of a ‘beam of light from a UFO was sent to officers from a person in Burnley in 2015 with another sighting submitted the previous year in Buckshaw Village.
Two UFOs were said to be seen in the sky over Fleetwood in 2015 and a reported red craft and another white one was said to have been spotted over Bottle last year.
The latest set of information comes after three close encounters were made public for the first time in 2009 after 4,000 pages of declassified Ministry of Defence documents were released.
A copper gold triangle moving at right angles caught the eye of a Colne resident on October 18, 1994, and the police were also alerted to a stationary bright flashing red light hovering above a garden in the town on February 23, 1996.
In Burnley, authorities were informed of 250 sightings of an object in the sky which was travelling at high speed towards Hebden Bridge on 22 November, 1995. Andy Sierolawski, from Todmorden Observatory, said: “We get asked if we have ever seen anything all the time.
“Around 40 per cent of the people who visit the centre ask us.
“Saturn and Venus as well as aircraft can very easily be mistaken for something else.
A police spokesman said: “With any call received into the police force control room the operator assesses each and identifies any risk/threat/harm and the operator provides the appropriate response to this, which may include deploying an officer.
“Sometimes these calls are not what they may seem so a potential UFO call could be a suspicious light or suspicious movement that could mean any number of things and we would assess and deploy officers if required, or there could be a concern for the caller’s welfare.”
380363 02: A sticker declares the existence of flying saucers from the window of a car parked on property near Jamul, CA, October 15, 2000, purchased by the Unarius Academy of Science to serve as a future landing site for 'space brothers' from other planets. According to the academy, a spaceship carrying 1,000 alien scientists from the planet Myton will arrive on Earth in the year 2001, landing on a raised landform that was once part of an Atlantean continent in the Caribbean Sea. If humans are spritually ready, a total of 33 flying saucers from different planets will land in a towering stack near Jamul, CA to create an international university and introduce new technologies to save planet Earth from self-destruction.

Speculations about UFO existence has once again been revived after an alleged eyewitness at Lincoln has reported watching and videotaping what appeared to be an unknown object following a jet. The aircraft is then said to have maneuvered back, which gives the impression it was moved to avoid colliding with the strange object. In the video, the witness has explained that a black unidentified object - which experts say could also be a drone or even a bird - can be seen at the same time as the pilot appears to make a sharp movement.
UFO Drives Passenger Jet Away
In one of his statements reported by UFO News and Investigations, the eyewitness has claimed that he has been told that military pilots were currently training in the mountains around where he lives and that he has always enjoyed seeing them fly through. Additionally, the witness stated that seeing jets was a usual thing for him so the moment that he saw what he believes to be a UFO, he even did a double take, because there was something following it.
Another UFO Sighting
Furthermore, according to reports revealed by Daily Disruption, the witness was found to have immediately taken out his mobile phone just in time to take a video of the entire incident. People who have seen the video said that the clip reportedly lasted for ten seconds, which shows the mysterious flying object while approaching the jet. It was found that the witness had actually felt excited and at the same time anxious about the sighting.
As of the press time, the witness added that he has already reported the incident to the Mutual UFO Network. Ultimately, New Hampshire MUFON Field Investigator Breann Smith was said to be the one responsible for the investigation. Open Minds TV, who was also able to examine the video, said that the object definitely looked eerie.
From September 14-25, 1952, theNorth Atlantic Treaty Organization(NATO) coordinated a huge military exercise in the North Sea and North Atlantic. Titled Mainbrace, the exercise utilized the armed forces of the UK, the United States, Norway, Canada, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, and Belgium. No less than 85,000 military personnel took part in the operation, the purpose of which was to demonstrate to the former Soviet Union that NATO was fully prepared to withstand, and counter, any possible Soviet attack on western Europe.
Barely one day into the exercise, at least two reports of UFO encounters were filed with authorities by naval personnel on board ships in the Atlantic, between Ireland and Iceland. The first such encounter involved a “blue/green triangle,” which was observed flying over the sea at a speed estimated to be around 1,500 mph. Later that same day, three unidentified objects, travelling at around the same speed, were seen flying in a triangular formation. All three craft reportedly emitted a “white light exhaust.”
As part of the British Royal Air Force’s involvement in Mainbrace, 269 Squadron – which was based at RAF Ballykelly, Ireland – was posted to RAF Topcliffe, Yorkshire, England. It was at Topcliffe, on September 19, 1952, that one of the most historically important UFO sightings was reported by serving members of the RAF. A September 20, 1952 document written and signed by Flight Lieutenant Dolphin of RAF Topcliffe – and sent to Headquarters, No. 18 Group – states: “In accordance with your instructions, herewith a report on the unidentified object which was seen over the station earlier today.”
The report referred to by Dolphin was prepared by one of the main witnesses, Flight Lieutenant John Kilburn, who revealed the following:
“Sir, I have the honour to report the following incident which I witnessed on Friday, 19th September, 1952. I was standing with four other aircrew personnel of No. 269 Squadron watching a Meteor fighter gradually descending. The Meteor was at approximately 5000 feet and approaching from the east. [Flight Officer R.N.] Paris suddenly noticed a white object in the sky at a height between ten and twenty thousand feet some five miles astern of the Meteor.”
Kilburn continued: “The object was silver in colour and circular in shape, it appeared to be travelling at a much slower speed than the Meteor but was on a similar course. It maintained the slow forward speed for a few seconds before commencing to descend, swinging in a pendular motion during descent similar to a falling sycamore leaf…After a few seconds, the object stopped its pendulous motion and its descent and began to rotate about its own axis.”
Then, Kilburn noted, something amazing happened: “Suddenly it accelerated at an incredible speed towards the west turning onto a south-easterly heading before disappearing. All this occurred in a matter of fifteen to twenty seconds. The movements of the object were not identifiable with anything I have seen in the air and the rate of acceleration was unbelievable.”
As well as the documentation filed by Kilburn (which was supported by the testimony of five of his colleagues), a number of reports from members of the public reached RAF Topcliffe too, all of which were received by Group Captain J.A.C. Stratton and forwarded to the Air Ministry at Whitehall, London for scrutiny.
The major American presence in Mainbrace was the huge aircraft carrier, the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. On September 20 (just one day after the incident at RAF Topcliffe), an American press-photographer, named Wallace Litwin, was on board the Roosevelt to photograph U.S. planes taking to the skies from the aircraft carrier.
It was while securing the pictures that Litwin sighted a circular, silver object maneuvering above the American fleet. Litwin, who was shooting with color film, managed to obtain three photos of the UFO. Significantly, all the photos had the Roosevelt in shot – something that gave the pictures depth of field and assisted in determining the size of the UFO, which, according to Litwin’s report, was considerable.
Twenty-four hours later, a similar object was seen over the North Sea. Again, it was silver in color and circular in shape. On that occasion, an interception was attempted by a number of RAF fighter aircraft engaged in the exercise. The UFO easily outdistanced itself from the planes.
Then there is the testimony of William Maguire, formerly of the RAF. During Mainbrace he was posted to RAF Sandwich, Kent, England where something seriously strange was going down. In Maguire’s own words…
“My memory was that everything was in a complete flap. Normally, in a military situation everything is ordered, regular and set out. But here was a situation that was plainly out of control. Mechanics were flying about all over the place.”
As Maguire got his bearings, and the situation was revealed to him in its starkest form, the reasons behind the blind panic became staggeringly clear: a huge, unidentified aerial object was being tracked on the radar-scopes high over the English Channel: “The mechanics were being blamed for not calibrating the instruments properly; we were being blamed for not interpreting the readings correctly. Every single instrument on the base was showing this enormous object sitting up at an unbelievable height. It was the size of a warship and it just stood there.”
Now we move on to the world of the CIA: as part of their monitoring of foreign press agencies, the CIA obtained a copy of a Norwegian newspaper clipping concerning an incident that had occurred on September 18. Published in a Harstad, Norway newspaper, a CIA translation of the article reads as follows:
“On 18 September, at 1400 hours, three forestry workers who were working right outside Kirknes, noticed a flat, round object hovering motionless at about 500 meters altitude. The object appeared to have a diameter of 15-20 meters. After the workers had observed the object for a while, it suddenly flew away at great speed in a northwesterly direction. It appears that only these workers saw the object; they swear, however, that their report is true.”
It must be said that the characteristics displayed by the UFO were very similar to those described at RAF Topcliffe just one day later.
And we’re still not done with Mainbrace. In his book The Report on Unidentified Flying Objects, Edward J. Ruppelt – former head of the U.S. Air Force’s Project Blue Book – revealed that a British Royal Air Force intelligence officer, on an exchange visit to the Pentagon, admitted it was the Mainbrace sightings that led the British Government to officially recognize the UFO.
Curiously, Ruppelt also stated in his book that prior to the commencement of the NATO exercise, it had been suggested by someone in the Pentagon that Naval Intelligence should “keep an eye open for UFOs” during Mainbrace.
Why someone might have had advance notice that UFOs were likely to turn up during Mainbrace remains a mystery to this day. Unless, of course, NATO knows better…
Every so often, those of us who are invested in the serious study of alleged UFO craft hear some incredible stories, which variously involve the testimony of trained pilots and other witnesses to unusual things seen in the skies. Countless numbers of stories that involve this sort of interaction between airmen and exotic-looking aircraft can be found by performing online searches, with the occasional appearance of flight audio that recounts such events.
Recently, a story along these lines was shared with me by one of my listeners, who had recently heard this subject being discussed on the The Gralien Report Podcast. Thus, she felt compelled to share the following account with me, in hopes that somebody else may have heard about what may have been going on recently in the skies over Indiana. Was it a UFO, or something else?
Here’s the message that appeared in my inbox only a few days ago:
I heard something today and thought that with your contacts in the ufo field you might be able to find something out. My sister called me today and told me that her husbands best friend (who is a pilot) was flying in Indiana airspace last night. He received a call over his radio redirecting him from his original flight plan. He said everyone was being redirected out of the area. At the time he said he was close enough to look into this no fly zone and he saw a very bright light. He also said that F18’s were in the air. He said that the chatter over the radio from the other pilots was all about this bright light, the F18’s, and the fact that they had orders to shoot!
I did a google search to see if I could find any news reports of ufo sightings in Indiana last night but was unsuccessful.
In truth, this was indeed the very first I had heard of such an incident, and a subsequent online search seemed to turn up few further details.
In the past, various incidents that involved the appearance of UFOs in midst of Fighter Pilots have occasionally resulted in disaster. Perhaps the most infamous, taken directly from the files of Project Blue Book, dealt with the death of 25-year-old pilot named Captain Thomas F. Mantell, on January 7, 1948. Mantell, of the Kentucky Air National Guard, had been pursuing what was believed to be a “flying saucer” at a high altitude, and in attempting to reach it himself, likely passed out due to loss of oxygen or similar circumstances, thus resulting in the crash of his jet. Rather tragically, Edward Ruppelt would later surmise that the entire Mantell incident may have involved nothing more than a high-altitude weather balloon, which, from Mantell’s perspective, could certainly have resembled a huge, silvery flying disc.
So far as the more recent incident over Indiana goes, few details have been made available with regard to just what may have been going on… and fortunately, there have been no reports of ill-fated pursuits of strange UFO craft on part of the U.S. Airforce this time around, either.
UFO Disclosure lobbyist Stephen Bassett has started up a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for his lobbying project to bring about an announcement from the United States government that extraterrestrials are interacting with humanity and earth.
On the campaign page, he writes,
This funding effort is in service to every citizen of every nation now convinced the world should not wait one more day for confirmation we are not alone is this universe. For 70 years this truth has been embargoed by your government. After 20 years of engagement of the issue, I know this embargo can end this year with your help.
Bassett is the founder of the Paradigm Research Group, an activist organization that has been working since 1996 to end the “truth embargo” established by the American government in regards to an alleged ET presence on earth.
Stephen Bassett, Lobbyist and Founder of PRG
The GoFundMe campaign, which is attempting to raise $50,000, is slated for a few key projects. First, it will allow his group to “keep the pressure on the media to engage the politics of Disclosure throughout 2017” and to hire a “public relations liaison who has substantial contacts with the new Administration.” Secondly, it will be used to set up an office in Washington DC, “seek professional speaker representation,” and to begin working in European countries, as well as to develop media and revamp their current website.
Many have been critical of the Disclosure movement (myself included), and any lobbyist or movement needs to accept that. Criticism leads to a healthy democracy, which is what Bassett is essentially trying to establish by pushing for Disclosure. However, one does have to admire him for trying. It has undoubtedly not been easy to do this work, and trying to raise money for this project is similar to Atlas carrying the world upon his shoulders. Except the world is flat, at least according to Mr. Bassett; it would be more like carrying a serving tray full of water and rocks upon your shoulders like some sort of strange cosmic waiter.
All joking aside, Mr. Bassett is doing what he believes in, and pushing for more transparency in government is a noble pursuit. Perhaps the government is hiding knowledge via a “truth embargo.” Perhaps the millions of sightings, countless witnesses, and allegedly truthful testimony of dozens of high ranking politicians and military personnel actually points to one of the greatest secrets ever kept. The world may not yet be convinced, but perhaps one day that will change.
If anyone thinks that this is truly a cause worthy of their attention, one can literally put their money where their mouth is. It all depends really upon what people believe at this point…unless they believe the earth is flat. It’s not. It’s an oblate spheroid. That is a fact, a real fact, not one of those alternative ones people just make up.

John Podesta: Pulling Back the Curtain on UFOs
John Podesta: Pulling Back the Curtain on UFOs
ANADOLU AGENCY VIA GETTY IMAGES
Leslie Kean
Co-authored with Ralph Blumenthal
It was the tweet heard round the worlds. On John Podesta’s last day at the White House on February 13th, the longtime Presidential counselor, who is likely to chair a 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign, dashed off a confession that lit the blogosphere with thousands of retweets and comments: “Finally, my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files.”
Along with the media, which couldn’t resist a spoof by late-night comedian Jimmy Fallon, conspiracy theorists are having a field day. Taking Podesta’s barb as confirmation of fantastic coverups by operatives with knowledge of extraterrestrials and twisted political agendas, they imagine Podesta himself holds devastating secrets. Some are claiming with bravado that their own activism is what prompted his recent lighthearted remark.
The facts hardly bear that out.
Actually, as surprising as the tweet was, Podesta’s position on the controversial issue was not exactly news. A staunch proponent of open government, he has previously called for the release of any government files on unidentified flying objects, or more broadly, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), that merit such action under existing law. As Chief of Staff for President Bill Clinton, Podesta pressed for Executive Order 12958 which declassified broad categories of information formerly withheld on the grounds of national security.
In 2002, Podesta began publicly supporting what became a landmark Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed by the Coalition for Freedom of Information, an independent advocacy group. NASA had been stonewalling and refusing to release its records concerning a significant 1965 UFO incident in Kecksburg, PA. Many witnesses described seeing a fireball in the evening sky, followed by a controlled landing and the systematic military recovery of a spacecraft-like object, rushed away on the back of a flatbed truck. As reported by local radio and newspapers, U.S. military personnel cordoned off the area, investigated the site, and left without ever providing a full report of the incident other than to dismiss it as a meteor.

During the lawsuit’s final hearing in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in 2007, the exasperated Presiding Judge, Emmet G. Sullivan, declared that “heads should roll” at NASA and that NASA’s case was a “ball of yarn.” He approved a settlement that required NASA to comb through hundreds of documents in specified locations, and provide them to journalist and plaintiff Leslie Kean, under the watchful eye of the court.
Success at forcing an agency to do this kind of extensive historical search under FOIA without Congressional intervention was unprecedented. Podesta called the victory “a triumph for open government and the spiritof inquiry.”

But - there was one problem. The resulting documents did not include one iota of information relating to the Kecksburg case, despite an earnest and thorough effort by NASA staff. Three hundred boxes were searched, on top of the hundreds of pages released during the court proceedings prior to the settlement. Yet they revealed nothing about the case at hand.
Could these be the “UFO files” that Podesta was alluding to in his tweet? Might there be others as well, stored in locations inaccessible to the FOIA in violation of the law?
Podesta has been a brave voice for sanity and objectivity on a subject that is generally considered unworthy of serious discussion. In a foreword for Kean’s 2010 book, UFOs: Generals, Pilots and Government Officials Go On the Record, Podesta wrote: “The time to pull the curtain back on this subject is long overdue.” Describing himself as “a curious skeptic” who understands the difference between fact and fiction, he said the American people “want to know, and they can handle the truth.”
Official investigations around the world have consistently found that a small but significant percentage of sightings defy conventional explanation, most of them involving police officers, military personnel, pilots and air traffic controllers. Physical evidence such as radar returns, measurable effects on the environment, or scientifically analyzed photographs accompany the best cases.
In 2011, Podesta hosted a private meeting of government officials, scientists, and military and intelligence experts, organized by Kean and her coalition, at his liberal think tank, the Center for American Progress. A panel presented expert briefings backing the establishment of a modest official project to evaluate UAP in cooperation with other countries.
“The official position of the U.S., which has denied the existence of any abnormal aerial phenomena since 1969, is a weighty handicap and has a negative influence on the attitude of many governments,” wrote Yves Sillard, former Director General of the French National Space Center, in his briefing paper. “If this position could be modified, the U.S. would probably play a leading role in this necessary international effort.”
Ricardo Bermúdez, a retired Air Force general who directs the Chilean investigative effort, agrees. “United States participation would be beneficial for all countries,” he stated.
A U.S. agency is long overdue. The Air Force’s official investigation, Project Blue Book, was terminated in 1970 after two decades, since no sightings were determined to pose a national security threat. Yet over 700 cases remained unexplained. Since then, no branch of the government has investigated UAP.
This lack of both transparency and responsive action to alarming UFO incidents undermines public trust. Some unidentified objects may be attributable to foreign military aircraft or drones, and should be of general defense interest. Other phenomena display such unusual characteristics that they are of broader scientific interest. Under certain circumstances, UAP can even raise air safety concerns. Still, the FAA discourages pilots from reporting any such incidents, in stark contrast to policy in Europe and South America.
Official agencies in France and Chile, along with other South American countries, conduct rigorous, open UAP investigations. In 2014, the heads of these offices met in Paris for the first time, to begin a cooperative venture. The U.K. spent decades collecting data, but closed down its office in 2008 due to the overwhelming stream of Freedom of Information requests besieging the staff. Interest was so great that the Ministry of Defense decided to simply release all its documents online.

Yet here at home, a 2012 poll showed that nearly 80% of Americans believe the government has concealed information about UFOs. As a result, frustrated citizens turn to fringe conspiracists seeking some way of understanding our irrational denial of this very real phenomenon.
When UFO events occur here, civilian groups do the best they can in battling the obstacles to investigating them. At Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport on Nov. 7, 2006, a metallic disc was observed hovering over the United Airlines terminal for at least five minutes, before shooting straight up in the sky, at great speed, cutting a hole in the cloud bank. This was not a flying machine known to any of the aviation experts who witnessed or later analyzed the event.
On March 13, 1997, hundreds if not thousands of citizens, including the governor at the time, saw massive delta-shaped objects gliding silently over Arizona. Like the Kecksburg case, this event has never been explained despite a class action lawsuit filed in 2000 by witnesses in Phoenix. A court-ordered search for information was issued to the Department of Defense, but once again, no pertinent records were obtained.
Nonetheless, much more data on UFOs has been accumulated than ever before, and files have been released around the world. The phenomenon’s physical reality is now firmly established. But its nature and origin remain a problem. Meanwhile, astronomers have reported that there could be as many as 40 billion habitable Earth-size planets in our galaxy; one out of every five sunlike stars has a planet the size of Earth orbiting it in the Goldilocks zone.
We need to join the other countries taking responsible action in addressing this persistent mystery, preferably at the White House level where The Office of Science and Technology Policy is well positioned to take on this task. John Podesta supports the effort to appoint a government staffer for this purpose - and that is no surpri

VIDEO: Mystery UFO! Which flew over Ukraine and Slovakia?
VIDEO: Mystery UFO! Which flew over Ukraine and Slovakia?
Interest aliens events in Ukraine? Witnesses who filmed the video, claiming that it is a real UFO. What’s more, there have been near Chernobyl. They try to suggest us something or is it just a hoax?
Over the Ukrainian small town Korosten saw UFO-shaped cigarette. These „flying saucers“ ufologist knows very well. It is the most popular alternative to the round spacecraft. Korosten as chance is located near Chernobyl. „The easiest is select an object, which we can not explain as a result of computer editing. In this case, it looks like a foreign object in the video really is, „says former FBI special agent Ben Hansen. Everything apparently indicates that it is a fake computer.
Hansen even says that number is multiplied seen a UFO from wars and natural disasters. „It is alleged that those visitors follow our historical events or seek to do them intervened,“ interprets Hansen frequently asked ufology explanation. According to him, in this case might be a conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Who knows, maybe nevertheless intervened and actually threatened to something much worse. Web BeforeItsNews argue that it is a work of the US. Supposedly created new cutting-edge military technology. Cigar-shaped ship long as three aircraft carriers allegedly flying under the anti-gravity system. Can operate in just any amount, to fly into space and return again. Americans monitor the situation in Ukraine and it was a UFO hoax?

DENVER – The object first appeared to be a shooting star, the Littleton man told U.S. Airforce investigators in 1951, but then suddenly changed course and color as it drifted off into the horizon and ultimately disappeared.
Bill Johnson’s encounter in the Four-Corners area is just one of thousands of bizarre sightings documented in a recently declassified government report related to Unidentified Flying Objects. A trove of more than 130,000 pages of UFO records, known as Project Blue Book, hit the internet last year.
After the infamous alleged alien landing in Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947, the US Air Force investigated 12,618 sightings from 1947 to 1969, and many of those cases occurred in Colorado.
The following are some of the notable cases from our state profiled in Project Blue Book:
If you work at Pikes Peak, you are probably used to the stunning view and can easily identify points of interest, but three employees of the Pikes Peak Railway viewed something on a spring day in 1947 that they couldn’t quite explain.
The report states the three employees were on their lunch break when the crew spotted a silver object in the sky. The object appeared to be traveling at a high rate of speed. The men were certain the object was not a conventional aircraft, the report reads. The craft stayed in the area for several minutes, maneuvering in ways no other known aircraft could move.
You can’t get a more credible witness than Sam T. Taylor, the Democratic Floor Leader of the Colorado State Senate in 1955. He pops up in the report for the strange encounter in La Veta on Nov. 25 of that year.
Investigators interviewed Taylor at the State Capitol. He told them he saw a barrel-shaped object with a large front-end. The object was greenish-blue in color and appeared jelly-like. The object was silent and flew ten miles before it disappeared over Mt. Mestas. He estimated the speed of the object to be about half the speed of a meteorite.
The biggest movie of the summer in 1954 was The Egyptian, and the best place to take in a film during that time was at the Drive-in. That is what one Aurora man was doing when he came across several flying objects on an August night in Lakewood (Edgewater now).
The man said he saw “flying saucers” at the Lakeshore Drive-in at 1701 Sheridan Blvd. (where a King Soopers shopping center is now). The man said he saw a flying object fly north in the vicinity of Stapleton Airfield. Fifteen minutes later, up to 12 objects were seen flying at a high-rate of speed toward Stapleton.
4. Flying disk over SW Denver DATE: Aug. 20, 1949 LOCATION: Southwest Denver Page Scan:
What happens when you work at an airforce base and report a UFO? You end up in Project Blue Book. Hopefully, he didn’t end up on any other government list.
That’s how Theodore Mahoney ended up in this report. He was a flight instructor at the old Lowry Airforce Base in Denver. On Aug. 20, 1949, he reported seeing a flying disk from his backyard at 2801 West Dartmouth Street. The object was traveling at a high-rate of speed west from where he stood. The object maintained a steady flight path until it disappeared over the horizon.
The report notes that Mahoney was well acquainted with aircraft of the era, but he didn’t recognize the oval-shaped object flying over his southwest Denver home.
They used to own the Alpine Café in Walsenburg, but this couple wasn’t serving up the soup of the day when the encountered this strange light in the sky.
The couple said they spotted a cigarette-shaped object creating a strange vapor trail. The object was white in color and glowing at the top. The couple told investigators that the object was moving too slow to be a jet. The UFO disappeared over Mt. Baldy.
The CIA has finally complied with the spirit of an executive order signed over two decades ago and made their archive of declassified 25+ year old documents available to the public. Today James explains what the archive is, how to access it, and the shoddy journalism that's been produced so far about it in the lying establishment fake news dinosaur press.

UFO 'chases passenger jet' through the sky as baffled witness releases video in a bid to find explanation
The witness said they felt both 'excited and anxious' as they watched the bizarre light fly almost alongside they jet
BY KARA O'NEILL
Bizarre footage appears to have captured the moment a UFO appears to chase a passenger jet through the sky.
The incident was caught on camera by a baffled resident in the US who has recently uploaded the footage in a bid to get some answers.
The witness told the Mutual UFO Network : "I am told that military pilots train in the mountains around where I live and I’ve always enjoyed seeing them fly through.
"This happens all the time. Jets and helicopters are a common sighting. So I naturally saw the jet and did a double take, because there was something following it.”
The UFO appears to fly alongside the passenger jet(Photo: Mutual UFO Network (MUFON)/Youtube)
"I knew it wasn’t a jet because it was actually right behind one. The jet it was chasing left a long contrail behind it, but the UFO did not. The UFO was gaining on the jet.
"No helicopter could do that. I was blown away and luckily got out my phone in time to take a video. I watched the object gaining on the jet for about 10 seconds when I lost them in the trees.”
The witness described feeling both 'excited and anxious' at the sighting.
A witness to the incident now wants answers(Photo: Mutual UFO Network (MUFON)/Youtube)
They claimed that the object was very difficult to dismiss as a weather balloon or other aircraft.
After the initial sighting, the witness claims they then saw three more jets and one helicopter flying in the same direction as the UFO.
The witness claims the original sighting was at 7pm on April 21, 2016, in Lincoln, a town in New Hampshire in the US.
And now they want more information: "I would like to show the video to an aviation expert and maybe get an explanation. I’m uploading to MUFON hoping for answers.”
The video went viral and caused quite a stir in the small town of Kuala Krai, Malaysia. (Photo: Keystone/Getty Images)
In 2016 a video of a massive disc-shaped object was seen flying around the skies of Malaysia. Many were left in shock at what appeared to be a rare UFO sighting in the Southeast Asian country, but some recent investigations have now uncovered the truth behind the video.
The video was originally posted on YouTube in September 2016 and has more than 590,000 views as of this writing. In the video - which can be seen below - an object can be seen gliding in the sky before it zips away. It then returns a few seconds later turning on its axis to the amazement of onlookers. Judging from the video, it is easy to see why they are all in awe of what they are witnessing as a stream of white light can be seen coming from the flying saucer.
It was then shared all across Malaysia and caused quite a stir among the residents of the town of Kuala Krai, the place where the flying saucer was spotted. However, the video seems to have been created using CGI (computer generated imagery). To be more precise the CGI creation was based off on one that was created in 2007. According to the Malaysian news agency Bernama, the police had reported no such sightings in the area.
The video titled "UFO CGI Unveiled" was uploaded by a YouTube user named Damien White in 2007. In the video he explains how the alien ship is created using computer graphics. The Malaysian UFO video looked so realistic that it even newspapers such as The Sun began to report it. UFO sightings in Malaysia aren't uncommon as there have been many of them over the years. As a matter of fact, news of one that was spotted in Georgetown, Penang was recently reported by The Star.
