These are the 'strange sightings' featured in a Swansea Bay UFO group's new database
These are the 'strange sightings' featured in a Swansea Bay UFO group's new database
They range from a man 'abducted by aliens' in 1856 to a strange object over Morriston
A man who claimed to have been abducted by aliens in the Vale of Neath in 1857 to a “flying jellyfish” over Langland Bay, Gower... and a strange object hovering near the DVLA tower in Swansea.
These are some of the many Swansea Bay UFO experiences which make up a new database established by the recently formed Swansea UFO Network.
Who's set it up?
The group was founded last year by Emlyn Williams and Steve Drewson to document and investigate sightings of unidentified aerial objects and phenomena in the Swansea Bay area, aimed at providing a forum for debate for anyone interested in the subject.
Mr Williams said: “Our first monthly meeting was held in April 2015 at the Welcome Inn in Llangyfelach, Swansea, and was very well attended. Since then we have held monthly meetings and have had guests speakers from the Ufology communtity.
“Many people who attend our meetings have had sightings and experiences to relate, sometimes for the first time, as their fear of ridicule in the past has kept them silent.
"Many witnesses have contacted us by telephone, email, or Facebook to report sightings.”
The new database of cases from the area has been sourced from newspaper reports, books and magazines, MOD reports and first-hand witness testimony – and these currently number over 350.
Broad Haven schoolchildren's drawings of UFOs in February 1977
How do they operate?
Mr Williams said: “When we receive a report, either historical or current, we first look to see if they can be explained by ‘conventional’ means, such as balloons, Chinese lanterns, aircraft, meteors, planets etc.
“The behaviour and physical attributes of the object/s in each case usually tells us quickly what these could be. The cases where a ‘normal’ explanation cannot be applied are of most interest to us, and it seems that our initial geographical area of study has been filled with many ‘unexplained in conventional terms’ sightings.
“We are currently expanding our study area to cover all of South and West Wales as many sightings of objects travelling across the area could be corroborated by witnesses further east or west.”
Cases in the database include:
A man was 'lifted in the air'
1856:In the Vale of Neath, Ronald Rhys reported “being lifted into the air” after investigating a light and added he was examined by strange creatures and found he had been missing from home for a week.
It came from the sea
September 1957: A “blood-red ‘globe” rising out of the sea was viewed from Porthcawl by two police officers.
Wales News Service
Jellyfish?
August 1963: An orange object “like a jellyfish” was spotted over Langland Bay.
Like a cigar
November 1965: A huge cigar-shaped object hovering over Singleton Hospital, Swansea, caused lights on all the floors to flicker on and off, before it suddenly vanished in an instant.
An actual alien
Winter 1969: “An Alien” seen in St Thomas, Swansea.
It rose from a field
August 1977: A UFO seen rising from a field at Bishopston, Swansea, by two boys, one of whom was the son of the local vicar, who went to the site and reported marks on the ground.
Spotted over Briton Ferry
December 1977: Disc-shaped object reported seen over Briton Ferry.
Mystery white light
August 1987:Two uniformed police officers at Caswell, Swansea, saw a white light before it shot off over the sea.
'Huge' objects
Autumn 1988: Three huge disc-shaped objects were seen moving low over Crofty, Gower.
Spotted near the DVLA
The most recent sighting came on April 20, 2016 when a couple walking their dog in Clase, Swansea, near the DVLA, photographed an object in the sky as it moved from south to north without any sound.
The photograph taken by the couple was handed to the UFO network.

Move over, Roswell. Dulce is home to true UFO believers
Move over, Roswell. Dulce is home to true UFO believers
Geraldine Julian, who claims to have had numerous sightings of UFOs in Dulce, points to the area where she said a “big spaceship” hovered over her before disappearing into the night sky. Daniel J. Chacón/The New Mexican
Dulce native Geraldine Julian points to a mountainside on Archuleta Mesa where she said area residents claim to have seen UFOs enter the so-called Dulce Base, an alleged underground base for space aliens. Daniel J. Chacón/The New Mexican
DULCE— Something strange is happening in this tiny town on the Jicarilla Apache Reservation in the far reaches of Northern New Mexico.
Residents claim they’re seeing — even photographing — flying saucers and other unidentified flying objects over the community of about 2,600 people, many of whom also share stories of low-flying military helicopters and fast-moving lights darting back and forth in the sky.
One resident even claims to have tracked Bigfoot.
But it’s the unexplained activity in the sky — and possibly underneath a neighboring mountain — that has captivated this community, the capital of the Jicarilla Apache Nation. Everyone knows about New Mexico’s decades-long connection with UFOs, starting with the reported crash landing of an unidentified flying object on a ranch near Roswell in 1947.
Since then, New Mexicans have reported hundreds of sightings and encounters with UFOs. Roswell has built an industry around its fabled alien visitors with a museum and annual festival devoted to them.
But if Roswell is the capital of New Mexico’s fascination with the unexplained, Dulce is the town of true believers.
“The whole town of Dulce, whoever you want to talk to, they’ll tell you what they’ve seen — a lot of them,” said 78-year-old Geraldine Julian, who claims to have seen multiple UFOs and other strange activity starting in the 1960s.
“It’s not just a fairy tale,” Julian insisted. “All the things are true, and I believe every last one of them, too, because I’ve seen it myself.”
Julian swears she saw “a big spaceship” hovering above her property just outside of town.
“The bottom part was flat … but on top there was a dome,” she said while resting near a blocked-off bridge where the alleged UFO flew over. “There was movement inside.”
Talk of UFOs and other unexplained activity in and around this isolated community just south of the Colorado border is not new.
Legend has it that Dulce is ground zero for space aliens who are working in concert with the government in a not-so-secret facility underneath Archuleta Mesa, a steep, flat-topped mountain overlooking the town.
“In 1979, businessman Paul Bennewitz was convinced he was picking up electronic communications from alien spacecraft, and after further investigations, he claims he discovered a secret underground base near the town of Dulce where these signals were coming from,” according to the Top5s, a YouTube channel that ranked the Dulce Base the second most mysterious and highly forbidden place on the planet.
“His results excited the UFO community and by 1990, well-known ufologist John Lear also claims he had proof the base existed, and the theories have been going on ever since,” according to the report, which has received more than 1.5 million views on YouTube.
The so-called Dulce Base, which was featured on the History Channel’s UFO Hunters television show, purportedly contains multiple levels, including areas for genetic and mind-control experiments and cryogenics storage. As the story goes, the Dulce Base serves as the hub of an underground transportation system linked to other alien bases, including one in Taos.
“I’m not a believer,” said one of the cooks at the Players Sports Bar & Grill a local gathering spot that sells a “Sasquatch Burger,” an enormous hamburger with 2 pounds of beef, six strips of bacon and four slices of cheese between bread in the shape of a big foot. Near the entrance of the bar is a poster with two green space aliens, one dressed as a cowboy and the other as an Indian with a headdress, and the words, “Where the locals hang out!”
The Wild Horse Casino next door also is trying to capitalize on the alleged space alien activity. Among the T-shirts for sale in the casino’s gift shop is one featuring a green alien with big, blue eyes over the caption, “I got probed at Dulce Base.”
Chelse Anderson, 27, who works at the casino, said the hotel attracts visitors who are specifically in search of UFOs.
“They prefer rooms with a view of the mountain, that way they can see it,” she said. “We have some [guests] that wander around the building at night.”
The casino hotel is already booked for next weekend in anticipation of the Dulce Base UFO Conference, which a local nonprofit is hosting as a fundraiser. The nonprofit, Apache Indigenous Defenders Inc., is raising money to support organizations that work to keep local Native traditions alive.
In an area with little economic activity, the president of the Jicarilla Apache Legislative Council has embraced the notion of a Dulce Base, partly in a push to stimulate tourism in a largely forgotten pocket of the state.
“We are a proud nation who remain steadfast to our way of life as Jicarilla Apaches,” council President Ty Vicenti wrote in a welcome message posted on the conference website.
“Our people have been blessed with an outstanding first of the year, as snow has given us hope for a prosperous 2016,” he wrote. “Please take the time to visit our many tribal businesses, enjoy a meal from local vendors located on Commercial Street, visit the Arts and Crafts Department and talk to the many tribal members who have first hand contact with UFO sightings and stories.”
Dulce, which became the headquarters of the Jicarilla Apache Nation in 1887, is perhaps best known among Northern New Mexicans as the location of the annual Little Beaver Roundup Rodeo.
The former logging town has no traffic lights or Starbucks or McDonald’s. Rather, there are a handful of convenience stores and small mom-and-pop restaurants on either side of N.M. 64. One of the main economic drivers is the casino, which, unlike other Indian casinos in New Mexico, closes at night.
Anderson, a Dulce native, said she’s never seen an unidentified flying object but hopes she will one day.
“Numerous people have seen stuff,” she said. “I believe there’s something there.”
She’s not alone.
In fact, one Dulce resident believes he captured UFOs on his camera.
“I took this picture about 3 o’clock in the morning,” a man who works in the tribal government’s Public Safety Division said Wednesday while displaying a grainy photo on his phone that shows several balls of light suspended in the air.
The man, who declined to give his name for fear of losing his job, also has two photos taken in broad daylight that appear to show one and then two UFOs floating in the clouds. The man declined to share his photos.
“The way the government is, the way things are, I don’t want [it] to come back on me,” he said. “Plus, I’m [a public safety employee]. I’m not even supposed to be talking about this because of my job.”
A former New Mexico State Police trooper, the late Gabe Valdez, documented unexplained cattle mutilations in the area in the mid-1970s, boosting speculation of alien activity.
But the evidence left behind didn’t come from outer space, Valdez said in different interviews.
“The evidence that was left there, you know, predators don’t leave gas masks, glow sticks, radar chaff. They don’t leave that stuff. They don’t have vitamin B-12,” Valdez said in a radio interview.
In an interview with the History Channel’s UFO Hunters, Valdez said the most anomalous evidence he came across while investigating cattle mutilations happened about 40 miles east of Dulce.
“We could tell where the aircraft came through,” Valdez said. “They didn’t do the whole process, and they left a fetus inside the animal.”
“A fetus? A cow fetus,” UFO researcher Pat Uskert asked Valdez.
“No,” Valdez replied. “It looked like a human, a monkey and a frog. It didn’t have any bones in the head. It was all full of water.”
When asked if he was implying that the cow was being used as an “incubation chamber for a cloned creature,” Valdez said that’s “exactly” what he was saying.
In an interview with Open Minds Radio, Valdez said he found listening devices in his home after investigating the cattle mutilations. He also claimed to have seen “sophisticated aircraft,” including an orb that looked like a hot air balloon.
“People have seen the helicopters. They’re black and silent,” Valdez said in the radio interview.
Tim Anderson, who is Navajo and married to an Apache, said stories of black helicopters and bright lights over Archuleta Mesa are commonplace in Dulce. He describes the town as the Roswell of Northern New Mexico.
“I don’t know what it is,” he said. “I can’t explain it.”
Anderson is more interested in what’s on the ground than in the air.
Specifically, he’s tracking Bigfoot.
“I do believe there is a mystical creature out there that nobody knows about,” said Anderson, who claims to have found two separate Bigfoot footprints that he made into casts.
“I believe there is something out there,” he said. “One of these days, somebody will find something.”
Anderson, who was a police officer in Dulce for 14 years, said he saw a UFO in a canyon near Archuleta Mesa while working in the late 1990s.
“It lit up the whole valley and just disappeared into the rocks,” he said. “I just rubbed my eyes. ‘Did I really see that?’ ”

Frank Kinbler, an assistant professor of Earth sciences at New Mexico Military Institute, is working in his spare time to bring forth scientifically correct evidence from the Roswell crash site.
Frank Kimbler teaches geology and Earth sciences at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell. In his spare time, he attempts to find evidence of the purported UFO crash that occurred in 1947. According to Open Minds, a UFO news source, Kimbler has allegedly collected plastic and metal debris, some of which shows signs of being made “off planet.”
We probably won’t live to find out definitively whether we are not alone in the universe, whether extraterrestrial life is indeed a reality. But perhaps just as interesting as the question of whether or not a little green man is hovering above us in a cylindrical spacecraft is why so many Americans tell this story to begin with.
In their upcoming photo book “Phenomena,” photographers Tobias Selnaes Markussen, Sara Galbiati and Peter Helles Eriksen — known together as the Phenomena Collective — examine how we as a culture molded this particular and peculiar myth of alien life. As shown in the compassionate yet unbiased images, the artists are interested less in the validity of the stories of extraterrestrial sightings and more in the collective imagination that shapes them.
“PHENOMENA”
Melinda Leslie has a money-back guarantee on her UFO tours in Sedona, Arizona.
“What makes the UFO phenomena?“ the photographers ask on Kickstarter. “Is it just a commercially profitable story, a delusion with social consequences, a religious myth or even a physical phenomenon?” Journeying through Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona, Markussen, Galbiati and Eriksen piece together a contemporary collage of the UFO myth, framing the belief as a powerful alternate religion in which no one is truly ever alone.
Working together as a collective, the artists document real-life individuals who believe in alien life and work to spread their truth, whether through research or guided tours. Other photos depict various pieces of evidence from specific UFO sightings and crashes. Framed as an anthropological study and presented from a fictional perspective, the images don’t demand that the viewer determine them true or false. Rather, the photographs create an intriguing story of an radical belief system, that, over time, seems to be gaining more and more traction and respect.
“PHENOMENA”
Lyle Michel attends a gathering at the home of self-proclaimed paranormal therapist Miesha Johnston in Las Vegas.
For example, last year Ellen Stofan, chief scientist at NASA, announced her belief that society is just decades away from getting the evidence we need to confirm the existence of alien life. “I think we’re going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth within a decade, and I think we’re going to have definitive evidence within 20 to 30 years ... We know where to look. We know how to look. In most cases, we have the technology, and we’re on a path to implementing it. And so I think we’re definitely on the road.”
Phenomena Collective’s photos capture this kind of belief at the crucial moment when fantasy could start to look more like truth, examining just why and how this shift is occurring.
While most often, outside of UFO-obsessed circles, those who believe in extraterrestrials are presented as ignorant, naive or just plain weird, the Phenomena Collective withholds all judgment, positive or negative, and simply presents the beauty and strangeness of this growing subculture as is. As presented by the photographers, UFO mythology is not an outlying belief in American thought. Something about the story has woven itself into the dominant cultural imagination, and that’s more powerful than any flying saucer could ever be.
The Phenomena Collective is currently raising funds to publish their photo book onKickstarter. Although they’ve already reached their goal of $12,000, every dollar helps, and you still have until Monday, May 9, to donate to this out-of-this-world cause.

Leading Scientists believe that they may have discovered another alternate Universe on the outer edge of the Universe we live in, making this quite possibly one of the biggest discoveries yet for mankind.
After hours of studying intense amounts of data in California it now appears that a new Universe has been discovered beyond our own (well the one we live in). New Scientist were actually the first guys to report on the findings of Ranga-Ram Chary – He studied the data of the European Space Agency’s Planck telescope at its offices at CalTech in California, and he has released his extremely interesting findings.
Through some rather intense studies, he has now discovered another universe which is quite literally bumping into ours with its very own set of physics. This sounds a little crazy and unbelievable but this is all a 100% official information.
This has to be one of the most important finds ever out in space and could also pretty much prove that there is life out there – even though this is something we already know – many of us have seen the truth with ourvery own eyes!
A whole new Universe(s) out there
A parallel universe could definitely mean life does exist elsewhere. This is not some made up Science Fiction story, but the actual results of some serious research which has been conducted over many years.
Scientists are discovering more and more out there in space in recent years, but I guess this finding is going to be one of the most important out of them all. This turns fantasy into FACT!
But the big question is will they, the guys in the know tell us the truth about what they really know??
It was during his studies that Chary discovered the strange “mysterious glow” which could actually be an alternate universe leaking into our very own Universe that we live in. Chary accidentally come across this discovery while studying the data of the cosmic wave background at the edge of our universe.
This intriguing find has been compared to bubbles bumping into one another.
Bubble like Universe ?
The tweet that confirmed the significant find by Chary:
An interesting way of looking at this exciting find is to consider the time that our Universe was created bumped against another universe, and that alternate universe left behind its mark. UK newspaper The ‘Daily Mail’ released the comments made by Chary in his recent study:
“The fine tuning of parameters in the early universe required to reproduce our present day universe suggests that our universe may simply be a region within an eternally inflating super-region. ‘Many other regions beyond our observable universe would exist with each such region governed by a different set of physical parameters than the ones we have measured for our universe.” He said.
Chary expects a lot of negative criticism over his recent find (something us truth seekers are used to) and he admits that it may be difficult to prove. He noted in his recent study:
“Unusual claims like evidence for alternate universes require a very high burden of proof.”
Credit where credit is due, Chary has created an awful lot of interest in his discovery , with many leading Scientists reaching out to him to give their views and opinions.
One of the Scientists that are full of positivity was Jens Chluba of the University of Cambridge thinks there is something to Chary’s finding. Chluba said:
” To explain the signals that Dr Chary found with the cosmological recombination radiation, one needs a large enhancement in the number of [other particles] relative to photons. In the realm of alternative universes, this is entirely possible. I am certain he made every effort to ensure that the analysis is solid. It will be important to carry out an independent analysis and confirm his finding.”
There are those that are very dubious about this find, especially after last year Scientists thought they had discovered a new Universe, but later on discovered that it was just signals coming from our own Universe.
At this moment in time it is not possible to confirm whether another Universe has been discovered or not, but one thing is for sure these are extremely exciting times and we are on the edge of a new awakening for the Human Race!
Hunting For New Dimensions From Land – CERN
The LHC machine at CERN risks opening up Portals to the ‘unknown’
Whilst some Scientists are looking out towards the edges of space to confirm the existence of other Parallel Dimensions, the researchers at CERN working on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are getting closer to finding a parallel universe and other Dimensions as well. Data that has been collected since June is now being studied. The LHC is focusing on miniature black holes that could mean that multiple universes exist.
“Just as many parallel sheets of paper, which are two dimensional objects (breath and length) can exist in a third dimension (height), parallel universes can also exist in higher dimensions. We predict that gravity can leak into extra dimensions, and if it does, then miniature black holes can be produced at the LHC.” Said Mir Faizal from the University of Waterloo who spoke with Daily Mail about the work the LHC is doing.
Please check out the interesting video below covering the search for other Dimensions:
The LHC lies in a tunnel 27 kilometres (17 miles) in circumference, as deep as 175 metres (574 ft) beneath the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva, Switzerland. Many people believe, including Professor Stephen Hawking that the Large Hadron Collider is not just a risk to humanity, but a risk to the entire Universe.
Perhaps the Scientists don’t just want to learn about other Dimensions and alternate Universe, perhaps they want to see them with their very own eyes – but at what risk?
U.I.P SUMMARY – Some might say that the human race has some what become obsessed with other Dimensions and parallel Universe. We are not just looking through the lens of powerful space telescopes to the outer limits of the Universe we are also looking to create ‘in some way’ our very own ‘Stargate’ in the LHC machine situated in CERN. Perhaps the scientists have been informed by a superior race of Beings about how to travel beyond our own time and existence, it has been rumoured that the LHC is based on Alien Technology – whether fact or fiction this level of technology is like something out of a Sci-Fi movie.
Perhaps there are other universes out there which developed in exactly the same way ours has but with completely different outcomes, otherwise know as ‘Alternate Universes) – PERHAPS in an infinite universe which lies within many more infinite Universe (impossible to imagine beyond infinity right?) there are worlds with duplications of ourselves but NOT ourselves – this can be the same for other Dimensions theories, similar worlds but with different outcomes!
Whether or not another universe has indeed been discovered or not, our world leaders have become obsessed with what lies beyond – perhaps they want to learn about where our ET visitors are coming from!?
Scientists are reaching further and learning more about the universe. As technology continues to develop, scientists will learn even more. It is a matter of time. Perhaps there are Star Wars type wars going on out there in deep space, and ‘Avatar’ type worlds out there – Science is proving every week now that anything is impossible in an infinite Universe(s).

Truth over Roswell FINALLY revealed? First ever UFO public inquiry 'could have answers'
Truth over Roswell FINALLY revealed? First ever UFO public inquiry 'could have answers'
A PUBLIC debate on the existence of UFOs and aliens involving former government ministers is being hailed as a major step towards "full disclosure" of top-secret documents about ET visitations of Earth.
The Roswell mystery has baffled UFO researchers for nearly 70 years
The first Canadian National Public Hearing on UFOs is being held in response to an unprecedented amount of sightings across the country - and hopes to nail the truth about the 1947 Roswell UFO mystery once and for all.
Last year alone, there were a record 1,267 incidents reported across Canada, according to TV news reports by Global Television, the CBC, and CTV.
The event, on Saturday June 25, 2016, in Brantford, Ontario, is to "address and investigate this modern day enigma."
A Canadian research and development team has been set up to organise the historic event, led by Paul Hellyer, the Former Deputy Prime Minister of Canada and Minister of Defence, who is also a member of the Queen's Privy Council.
A spokesman for the research and development team said: "This elite panel is prepared to present unimpeachable evidence that not only is the UFO phenomenon real but that the matter of UFOs has been discussed, analysed, investigated and sequestered at the highest levels of governance on the planet.
"The Public Hearing will feature testimony by internationally-acclaimed experts.
"Experts will present their case in support of the UFO reality, the existence of extraterrestrials and what world governments, Pentagon, White House, NORAD and Vatican officials know about this issue."
The testimony presented will be both politically stunning and intellectually challenging.
UFO research and development team
Witnesses later came forward to say there had been alien bodies within the "crashed craft", which along with the wreckage were then taken to the mysterious top-secret Area 51 military base in Nevada.
Aside from Roswell, topics on the agenda include:
•Latest UFO sighting reports,
•Official government UFO documents obtained through FOIA
•What US presidents know about the UFO issue
•Alien abductions
•International UFO incidents over US and UK military and nuclear installations
In North America, there is a huge so-called "disclosure movement" made up of citizens who are demanding governments worldwide release any documents they have concerning aliens or UFOs.
Six members of the panel were among many others who participated at a Citizen Hearing on Disclosure held in Washington DC at the National Press Club in 2013 when they addressed former members of the US Senate and Congress.
The research and development team spokesman added: "Now, for the first time in Canadian history a panel of internationally respected experts will present their analysis of the social, scientific, national security, military, theological and political implications of this highly controversial issue before an equally esteemed panel of journalists, academics and broadcasters.
"The testimony presented will be both politically stunning and intellectually challenging."
UFOs, flying saucers, little green men…..they're all part of our imagination. Have you seen some strange light in the sky that you can't explain? Some may say that the flash of light you saw was not a UFO. Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus. Or was it? From the Worley Observatory out here in Shreveport you can look through the Bradley Telescope and see distant planets. But there are people who claim they have been visited by beings from other planets. So....you have to ask yourselves....are we alone in this vast vacuum of space. Some think not. There have been sightings of strange things in the sky since the dawn of time. And since then we've let our imaginations run wild with movie scenarios of the what if question. With technologies far superior to ours, many speculate on beings over-taking our armies. While many of us must see to believe.
People talk about the archetypal landing on the Whitehouse Lawn. Maybe it will happen. Maybe it will not. Most encounters are just seen from the sky. While others get a little more....personal. A ship came up and it was disguised in a cloud. Thunderbeat, of Arizona, says that as a 4 year old she and her mother were abducted by aliens. And as it was pulling me up my mother was running out of the house trying to catch me in mid air and they pulled her up too. She claims to have a great relationship with her out of this world abductors.
But we've seen through the eyes of fiction aliens like to have humans over for dinner……as it were. Don't get on that ship. The rest of the book. To serve man. It's, it's a cook book! And although we have not visited other planets personally, we are making advances in exploration Our radio telescopes are getting to the point where they will find those civilizations if they're out there. Debates about whether we're alone in the universe will become redundant, we'll know. Those that have claimed to have seen a UFO or have come in contact with one, can often find themselves sometimes going down the road less traveled. One such person is Travis Walton. He garnered national attention with a book Fire In the Sky and movie by the same name, about his personal abduction experience in Arizona in 1975. ? Some witnesses are credible enough to have movies made about those events. I saw an object. A UFO. Hovering near the road. Went up to get a closer look. And was taken aboard. These beings are what people call grays. Short, hairless, large-eyed humanoid beings. Possibly injured but uh returned five days later. While others, uh...Maybe not so much. They would call me out of my house and say come on. Go to the beach. I lived by the beach. Said go to the beach. Let's go meet. And we'll take you for a ride kind of thing. Retired Nuclear Physicist and Professional Ufologist Stanton Friedman of Canada believes we've been visited and thinks governments need to come out and admit it. There is overwhelming evidence that the planet is being visited. Governments know about that. And we better straighten up and fly right. And if you live in fear of an alien invasion, Freelance Journalist Nick Pope has this to say, but listen with caution, it won't calm your nerves any. You could say that there is a potential threat. And clearly we wouldn't have much of a chance if it came to an alien invasion scenario. Ufologists and skeptics alike have speculated about the connection between UFO sightings and military bases. In one particular location that gets a lot of sightings, military bases. Of course there are two schools of thought about that. Skeptics say that well that just shows that most of these things are just secret prototype or drones and that it's our own technology. The counter argument for the believers is that we're dealing with extra-terrestrials who for whatever reason are taking an interest in our military. Perhaps any threat we might pose to them. I think there's two schools of thought there.

You Have Been Abducted By Aliens ~ Now What?
You Have Been Abducted By Aliens ~ Now What?
** SHARING IS CARING - PASS IT ON **
You Have Been Abducted By Aliens ~ Now What?
If you believe one set of claims, nearly four million Americans have been abducted by aliens. This figure has been widely publicized and is often assumed to mean that millions of people have been visited by members of an alien species and, in some cases, physically taken from their beds, cars, or homes to an alien craft or planet.
Regardless if I actually believe these claims, after reading countless witness accounts, hours of video, and researching the facts you tend to imagine just what would it be like. Just having a interest in extraterrestrial visitation you will end up going to sleep with “visions” stuck in your head!
So if your like me and have a Netflix list full of Alien movies and TV shows, including but not limited to crazy space travel shows, doomsday and apocalyptic thrillers, and other flicks in the same genre then you may oftenponder,…..
“What the Hell would I do if it happened to Me!”
People claiming to have been abducted are usually called “abductees” or “experiencers”. Due to a paucity of objective physical evidence, most scientists and mental health professionals dismiss the phenomenon as “deception, suggestibility (fantasy-proneness, hypnotizability, false memory syndrome), personality, sleep paralysis, psychopathology, psycho-dynamics and environmental factors”.
However, the late Prof. John E. Mack, a respected Harvard University psychiatrist, devoted a substantial amount of time to investigating such cases and eventually concluded that the only phenomenon in psychiatry that adequately explained the patients’ symptoms in several of the most compelling cases was post traumatic stress disorder. As he noted at the time, this would imply that the patient genuinely believed that the remembered frightening incident had really occurred.
Dr. Mack claimed that his psychiatric patients were not mentally ill (then why was he treating them?) and that he could think of no better explanation for their stories than that they were true. However, until someone produces physical evidence that abductions have occurred, it seems more reasonable to believe that Dr. Mack and his patients were deluded or frauds. Of course, the good doctor could hide behind academic freedom and the doctor/patient privacy privilege. He could make all the claims he wanted and refuse to back any of them up on the grounds that to do so would be to violate his patients’ rights. He could then publish his stories and dare anyone to take away his academic freedom. He was in the position any cheat would envy: he could lie without fear of being caught.
Typical claims involve being subjected to a forced medical examination that emphasizes their reproductive system. Abductees sometimes claim to have been warned against environmental abuse and the dangers of nuclear weapons. While many of these claimed encounters are described as terrifying, some have been viewed as pleasurable or trans-formative.
I tell my friends who claim to be abducted by aliens, ‘If you’re in a flying saucer, steal something,’” “I don’t care what it is, a pen, a paperweight, anything, so you have bragging rights after you leave the flying saucer, otherwise, you’re empty-handed.”
If it were me, I know for a fact I would not go quietly into the night! First off, my smart phone is never far away, either in my pocket or next to my bed.
My first response would be to attack at all costs! But if for some highly advanced galactic reason I was unable to resist I would be taking photo’s and video until they strapped me down or took away my phone! I know, some of you are going to say that phones, camera’s and other electronics stop working or are disabled by the extraterrestrial kidnappers.
So then I must think fast and assuming they are going to drop me off back at home or my car like countless other abductions I need to get the PROOF!
I can try to scratch them them and have their DNA under my fingernails!
I can try and steal something!, it doesn’t need to be much, just something that’s looks like its from another planet or galaxy!
Ok, so maybe I wasn’t able to scratch them or steal anything then all I have left is my experience that no one will believe. Oh wait! Im in a huge craft that others had to of seen right? My neighbors, family members or others in my area?
Quickly I look around to see if anyone else is here with me? If yes, maybe I can holler out a “Hey You!, whats your name and digits? We need to talk later!”
Or if I’m alone in this nightmare I can try to observe as much as possible so I can re-create the environment I am in and describe it to others! Surely they will believe me after my childish drawings I produce!
I awake in the morning with vivid memories of a horrible experience so life like that it had to be real!
During quick evaluation of my condition I notice a mark on my left foot I never saw before and of course assume its a Alien implant!? How else could I have gotten this mysterious mark? It had to be Aliens!
If you have not figured out by now that I highly doubt any claims of Alien abduction and wanted to show that sometimes our desire to believe trumps rational thought and statistical and common sense solutions.
If the figures stated in the first paragraph for just America (The USA accounts for the majority of claims) are accurate and 4 million plus have claimed similar experiences or very different experiences but never are able to produce tangible evidence then the only conclusion is they never happened and are not reality.
A dream, Sleep paralysis, mental illness or other medical conditions are the the only real answers!,…Well besides a whole host of other motives like attention, profit, or whatever else might make a individual resort to such otherworldly claims that only card carrying tin foil hat wearing sympathizers would appreciate.
Ufology has given us some truly fantastic and entertaining stories, thousands of photos and videos, many quotes (and misquotes) from various prominent people, stacks of documents released from national archives around the world, news reports and books on the subject. The mountain of ‘evidence’ grows ever higher. However, high as that pile now seems, no one has found a ‘smoking gun’ amongst it all as yet.
But remember,..The next nearest star to Earth’s sun (Alpha Centauri) is about 4 light-years away. That might sound close, but it is actually something like 24 trillion miles away. Even traveling at one million miles an hour, it would take more than 2,500 years to get there. To get there in under thirty years would require traveling at more than 100 million miles an hour for the entire trip.* At 100,000,000 mph you could get to the center of our galaxy in 200,000 years; you could reach the edge of the universe in a mere 92 billion years. Our fastest spacecraft, Voyager, travels at about 40,000 miles an hour and would take 72,000 years to get to Alpha Centauri.
The abduction phenomenon increased exponentially during the 70s/90s but seems to have disappeared as technology has caught up. You wont find any reports of a abduction since 2009. So maybe their vacation to Earth is over, or its harder to make a story like that believable in this day and age with everyone having a camera in their pockets.
The era of ‘Classic’ UFO reports are long gone. There are very few significant UFO events from the 21st century worth serious investigation. Youtube videos of a light in the sky or CGI UFOs are aplenty.
The internet has killed the UFO Magazine industry and is rapidly diminishing the book market too. Numbers at conferences are dwindling because there is little new to discuss or sell to an ageing conference audience.
That all said the satellite and cable media seem to love UFOs . On TV there has been a glut of recent programming from various production companies. Although now there seems to be a blurred line between whether the modern UFO show is a serious documentary featuring real research or just entertainment with license to freely stretch the truth.
Various talking heads all tend to tread this fuzzy, vague line whilst appearing on late night talk radio shows and TV shows like Hangar One. A show where entertainment is king and there is absolutely no critical or scientific analysis of the MUFON files or the ‘evidence’ presented in these shows.
Before you start to send me countless links to YouTube videos and “UFO Researchers” (Also known as Frauds, Hoaxers, Book Whores, and unqualified idiots) articles and books I will tell you been there, done that and quit drinking the kool aid years ago.
If you want to keep on believing in aliens visiting Earth and abducting everything from cows to humans that’s your prerogative, Good Luck!
Thanks for taking the time out from your next UFO Sighting or Alien Abduction to read,….now tell me what you think!
I’m ready to hear it from you galactic travelers, alien channelers and shape shifting reptilian overlords!

9 Secret UFO Bases Other Than Area 51
9 Secret UFO Bases Other Than Area 51
Tired of hearing stories about Area 51? Here’s a list of other places routinely visited by UFOs.
1. San Luis Valley, Colorado
Over the years, a plethora of reports have earned the San Luis Valley the reputation of a UFO hotspot. And it’s not just flying saucers. People have allegedly seen shadow people lurking in the area and cattle from several farms have been found mutilated. Conspiracy theorists have drawn parallels between these strange cases and the alleged presence of a number of secret military bases. As you would expect, such a connection would be difficult to prove.
2. Wenceslas Mine, Poland
Rumor has it that during WWII, the Nazis retrieved a crashed UFO and were actively researching the alien technology it carried. However, the war ended before they could turn the tide in their favor. The same rumors say that the research had been carried out in a secret facility located in the Wenceslas Mine in southwestern Poland.
Some conspiracy theorists believe that Die Glocke, The Nazi Bell was designed and built in this underground facility location.
3. Dulce Base, New Mexico
Dulce is a small town with a population of about 3,000 residents, located near the border of New Mexico and Colorado. It’s also home to one of the most controversial underground bases. Some have claimed that beneath the Archuleta Mesa lies a facility housing thousands of reptilians and the unethical experiments they allegedly perform on humans. According to other accounts, it is the gray aliens who run the base but the activity is the same.
No matter how outrageous these claims might seem, a few conspiracy theorists swear the whole thing is real.
4. Perm Anomalous Zone, Russia
Discovered in 1989, this 70 square kilometer area is located in the Ural Mountains. Its proximity to a village called Molyobka has caused the zone to be nicknamed the M-Triangle. Reports claim that the area receives constant UFO visits and physical manifestations. Strange lights, strange shadows, unknown energies, symbols in the sky; apparently this place has them all.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much information available about the M-Triangle, making it another unverifiable Russian mystery.
5. Tonopah, NV and Tonopah, AZ
Tonopah, Nevada houses a highly secretive base and it’s located about 70 miles northwest of Area 51. Very few people know of its existence and it is rarely mentioned even between members of the intelligence services. Lockheed’s F-117 Nighthawk was a well-kept secret at the Tonopah Test Range in the mid-1980’s. Although these stealth fighters left the base years ago, it still remains operational. What could it be hiding now?
Five hundred miles to the southeast and we’re in Tonopah, Arizona. While no anomalies are reported over Tonopah, Nevada, its eponymous counterpart has plenty. People have reported UFOs of all shapes and sizes flying over Tonopah, AZ. Sometimes the flying saucers would be escorted by fighter jets, arising suspicion about joint alien-human operations. Some believe that the UFOs are actually attracted by the nearby Palo Verde nuclear plant. This behemoth generates a shocking 3.3 gigawatts of power, enough to serve 4 million people, send Marty McFly back in time twice and attract curious extraterrestrials, all at once.
6. S4 Facility, Nevada
In the early 1980’s, Bob Lazar started making public appearances andsensational statements. He claimed to have been employed by the U.S. government to work on reverse-engineering captured alien craft. These activities were allegedly carried out inside the S4 facility, which was hidden in the side of a mountain, 20 miles south of Area 51.
Lazar was unable to provide the exact location of the S4 base since he and his fellow workers had been transported with a blacked-out bus to the site. The facility consists of nine hangars built into the mountainside, with the angle of the hangar doors matching the natural slope of the mountain and well-camouflaged among the surrounding environment. Inside, scientists and gray aliens work towards an unknown common purpose.
Bob Lazar’s claims remain unverified and largely unverifiable due to the area being highly restricted to public view.
7. Saddam’s Area 51
Word around conspiracy sites has it that former dictator Saddam Hussein was in cahoots with aliens. Or at least managed to grab some of their technology from a crashed (unearthed, as some would say) UFO. This alleged secret area was located somewhere in the upper valley of the Little Zab River, near a town called Zarzi.
Saddam’s very own Area 51 attracted interest in 2002, when an anonymous source with ties to the military claimed that a UFO had crashed in Iraq in the previous years. Information is scarce and there’s little hope of finding out whether this actually happened.
Interestingly enough, the Nazi occult organization called Ahnenerbe showed interest in the area around Zarzi and allegedly recovered artifacts from an excavated ancient Sumerian city.
8. Kongka La Pass
The highly disputed border between India and China is an inhospitable place. Located on this border is Kongka La, a remote mountain pass which is said to be home to an alien base. Locals on both sides of the pass have reported many strange occurrences and they claim both governments know about the unusual activity taking place in the pass. They say triangle-shaped silent crafts are seen taking off vertically from and disappearing into an underground UFO base.
9. Kaputsin Yar
Sometimes called Russia’s Roswell, this secretive base has served as a research and test facility for Soviet missiles, rockets and satellites. Over the years, numerous strange events have been linked to this base. Rumor has it that there’s an underground base beneath Kaputsin Yar, where the remains of a downed UFO were brought in for study in 1948.
The most recent event involved a UFO that hovered over the base for two hours, emitting a bright beam of light from time to time.
Within the field of Ufology there are longstanding rumors that the May 22, 1949 death of James Forrestal – the first U.S. Secretary of Defense – was linked to the UFO phenomenon. So the story goes, while suffering from severe depression and anxiety, and ultimately spiraling into a complete nervous breakdown (as a result of his exposure to what the U.S. Government knew about UFOs), Forrestal was on the verge of revealing his knowledge of an alien presence on Earth. The theory continues that powerful figures decided such a thing simply could not be allowed to occur. The result was that Forrestal had to go. And “go,” he certainly did: out of a window. In the early hours of May 22, Forrestal plunged to his death from the 16th floor of the Bethesda Naval Hospital. The big question is: was he pushed or did he jump?
Of course, there’s no hard proof in the public domain that Forrestal was briefed on the more sensational and top secret aspects of the UFO phenomenon. Although, logic dictates that he would have been briefed (at least to some degree), since he accepted the position of Secretary of Defense in 1947 – the year in which the flying saucer was “born” and when the military was indeed taking the mysterious matter very seriously. Even outside of Ufology, there are suspicions that Forrestal’s death was no suicide. But, that’s not the focus of this article. Rather, the focus is on something that happenedbefore Forrestal died and prior to his admittance to Bethesda on April 2, 1949.
Just a few days before he ended up in the naval hospital, Forrestal had a curious experience which had distinct Men in Black overtones attached to it. On the day in question, Forrestal received a visit from one of his friends, a man named Ferdinand Eberstadt, someone who was deeply concerned about Forrestal’s fragile and paranoid state of mind. Eberstadt (a lawyer, a banker, and the author of a historic 1945 document, “Task Force Report on National Security Organization”) was floored by what he saw when he arrived at Forrestal’s home. All of the curtains were closed. Forrestal told his friend – in hushed tones – that listening-devices were all over the house. Sinister characters were watching his every move. His life was in danger.
James Forrestal
To demonstrate this to Eberstadt, Forrestal carefully opened one of the blinds and pointed, knowingly, in the direction of a pair of shabbily-dressed men on the street-corner. “They” were a part of it, Forrestal assured Eberstadt. In no time at all, the doorbell to Forrestal’s home was heard ringing. The last thing Forrestal wanted to do was answer the door. Fortunately, one of his staff was on hand to do exactly that. A brief conversation took place, but which neither Forrestal nor Eberstadt were able to hear. The facts, however, quickly came to Forrestal from his houseboy.
According to what the two men were told, the visitor at the door was trying to generate support that would hopefully allow him to become postmaster in his hometown. Could he come in and speak with Forrestal and have him offer some help and advice? Due to Forrestal’s fraught state of mind, the man was sent packing. Eberstadt and Forrestal watched carefully as the man walked directly towards the two badly-dressed men thatalready had Forrestal in a state of turmoil. It was even more evidence of a conspiracy against him, Forrestal grimly concluded, when he saw the three clearly engaging in conversation.
Maybe the whole thing was blown out of proportion by a man descending into a collective state of paranoia, fear, and nervous collapse. Certainly, that’s what happened. But, it’s worth noting that this odd affair, which occurred during Eberstadt’s visit, has several Men in Back-themed parallels to it. First, the Men in Black are typically described as looking not quite right: they are extremely pale-skinned, they often have bulging eyes (hidden behind wraparound shades), and (very bizarrely) are at times described as wearing wigs and make-up. Forrestal’s visitor on the day in question was described by his staff as very odd-looking.
That the man tried to gain access to Forrestal’s home – by claiming to be seeking support for a potential job as a postmaster – mirrors the 1960s-era reports of MIBfinding ways into the homes of UFO witnesses by claiming to be military personnel or police officers. In the same time-frame, Women in Black were posing as census-takers and as gypsies. They were clearly neither. The MIB are often described as wearing clothes that are shabby, dirty, and which occasionally give off an odor like dirt. The two characters that the “odd-looking” man walked towards (and began speaking to) were badly dressed. And, of course, there’s the fact that the men amounted to a trio. Particularly in the 1950s and the 1960s, the MIB turned up in threes. See, for example, Albert Bender’s book, Flying Saucers and the Three Men.
It must be stressed that none of this proves James Forrestal was murdered because of what he knew about the UFO phenomenon (or even because he may have been on the verge of revealing his knowledge to the world). It must be said, however, that the day in question was a very weird one. And not just for Forrestal, but also for Eberstadt. Even he had to admit it was all a bit odd. And, it’s worth noting the words of Dennis Stacy – a long-time and well-respected figure in Ufology, and who runs Anomalist Books with Patrick Huyghe. Of that MIB-like affair, Stacy observed in a 1993 article for Flying Saucer Review magazine titled “Forrestal’s Fall: Did He Jump, or Was He Pushed?” that “…the whole thing has the appearance of a one-act play staged for Forrestal’s ‘benefit.'”
Notably, Stacy added that the affair “begins to smack of orchestration aimed at unsettling an already unstable Forrestal.” Thought-provoking words, indeed.
Are UFOs real, and do they represent any form of tangible phenomenon? Or are UFOs merely an idea, representative of some vestige within our collective memories of a social movement, built around paranoia and international concerns following the Second World War?
To the UFO advocate, the notion that unidentified flying objects could be anything but physical, tangible aircraft would seem laughable. And yet, among the many questions we face in our study of the phenomenon, one is particularly troubling: if the UFO subject represents a single, consistent “alien” phenomenon, then why has it changed so frequently over the decades?
This question was paraphrased to me recently during a correspondence with Jason Bradley, a skeptically-minded colleague of mine. “You have discussed the idea that maybe abduction stories share some similarities between some of the other rash of paranormal claims, like the cult terror in the 70’s and 80’s,” Jason said. “I have always maintained that something glaring about the UFO phenomena is that it’s always followed patterns. Saucers to cigars, cigars to triangles, triangles to lights and so on. I’ve always found this concept interesting, and can’t think of a moment when it’s been addressed. To me this is one of those situations that belies a possible cultural and meme like experience. Ultimately tracking those patterns may help us understand where the psychological component plays into this.”
Mirroring Jason’s ideas presented above, in the past I have similarly discussed the notion that certain trends do appear to emerge, especially within memes presented in UFO literature. However, it is difficult to argue that any definite or distinct lineage emerges from these; in other words, the idea of “saucers to cigars, cigars to triangles,” and the like may not be the most accurate representation of the UFO phenomenon as it has progressed over the years. Nonetheless, there are periods of change that begin appear when looking a bit further back, which thus help to place the “modern” UFO phenomenon of the last few decades into a broader cultural context.
For instance, beginning in the 1890s we can note the prevalence of reports that involve “mystery airships”, which began to appear in many American newspapers (there are, however, similar stories that appeared elsewhere, including parts of South America, as well as Australia, around this same time). Modern UFO historians view the airship craze as a sort of “cultural predecessor” to the modern UFO phenomenon, and it is indeed interesting to note the way that such “UFOs” didn’t appear to resemble saucers, cigars, or triangles of any sort; they represented aircraft that were remarkably similar to those appearing in fiction at that time, namely the work of authors like Jules Verne. Similar to such books and stories, the prevailing theories about the origins of the mystery airships had involved some intrepid inventor who, according to many rumors, was believed to be based somewhere in California, and had managed to construct an impressive new flying machine, which he kept secret from the public.
Not to be entirely dismissive of the purported “airships” of the 1800s, my article “Airships in the 1800s: An Odd History of Aerial Phenomena” discusses a number of crude airships that were, as a matter of historical fact, actually built in California throughout the later 1800s. The most compelling of them all was (or rather, would have been) that built by a Dr. Charles Abbot Smith of San Francisco, an inventor who had garnered a large amount of publicity for his airship operation beginning in early 1896. It remains unclear whether Smith’s airship was ever able to fly, although historians Timothy Parrot and Michael Busby have been among those who have argued for the existence, and successful flight, of such a craft.
Interestingly, if one weighs the actual historical basis of the “airship craze” of the 1890s against the modern UFO era beginning in 1947, there is little similarity to be found. The most credible among the classic airship stories, ranging from inventors who actually did succeed in building crude airships, to the more far-out tales of aircraft actually observed in the sky, still seem to deal with a very earthly technology. Yes, there were some fanciful newspaper accounts that tell of the operators aboard these craft being “visitors from space”, but these were the likely concoctions of area “liars clubs”, or the occasional journalist writing on a day when legitimate news was lacking (such hoaxes were especially common during this period, and among the most famous were two penned by none other than Mark Twain).
These tales of “airships”, however, when compared with the flying saucers that would emerge after the Second World War, indeed seemed to be the stuff of very different worlds. And despite this, the early reports of “saucers” often bore little or no resemblance to any kind of disc-shaped craft at all, as I noted here of Kenneth Arnold’s famous encounter from the summer of 1947. In truth, reports of “cigar-shaped” objects preceded the era of saucers by at least a year, with the numerous reports of cigars and torpedo-like objects referred to as “ghost rockets” which purportedly swarmed the skies above Scandinavia in the summer of 1946. Similar American reports, such as that described by Captain Jack Puckett of Strategic Air Command in the summer of 1946, also predated Arnold’s sighting by several months.
Throughout the 1950s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, UFOs would appear to take every shape imaginable: some were discs, while others were rounded spheres or eggs; some were cylinders, some shaped like footballs, and some were literally described as resembling “floating houses”. By the late 80s or early 90s, reports began to emerge of odd triangle-shaped aircraft that behaved, if anything, more like blimps; like their predecessors in the 1890s, these objects first appeared mostly over California, with subsequent reports occurring in numerous other locales. In particular a “wave” of triangle-shaped UFOs were reportedly seen over Belgium during the early 1990s.
Many have opined that these modern “triangles”, rather than being some exotic alien craft, are likely to be a variety of stealth aircraft employed by the U.S. military. The benefit of a large aircraft of this sort might include the large amount of material stock or rations it could transport over a long distance in a single stop; however, the size might also be attributable, more simply, to the amount of lift required to get an object like that off the ground, again presuming that they are something akin to blimps or dirigibles.
Coming back to the notion of “trends” that emerge in UFO literature, while it may be debatable whether there are indeed “patterns” that can be attributed with any conclusiveness, it would indeed be appropriate to note the apparent changes the phenomenon seems to have undergone in decades past. Close encounters with UFO occupants were, throughout the 1950s, largely comprised of credulous-sounding occurrences espoused by individuals who, along with retelling their encounters, were equally interested in promoting their involvement in the burgeoning UFO field, and capitalizing on it if possible. Hence, stories like that of George Adamski and his meetings with “Orthon” described, rather mundanely, encounters with an “alien” that was indistinguishable from any other man… apart from his telepathic powers, and unique mode of transportation through space. However, by the early 1970s, stories of UFO contact experiences were beginning to take on a much darker tone: the abductees now told of encounters with diminutive, emotionless humanoids, replete with bug-like eyes and other insect-like features, who were focused almost solely on brief examinations of their captives.
By the 1990s, the bulk of UFO related books focused on the apparent occupants of these presumed spacecraft, as featured in the written work of authors like Budd Hopkins and others. However, today those operating within the field of UFO studies have seemed to shift focus back toward the objects themselves, rather than having such preoccupation with “beings” seen in relation to UFO encounters. And yet, even the reports of objects seen in the skies have seemingly diminished; this decline in noteworthy UFO reports is, as I have observed elsewhere, interesting for a number of reasons. It has also led a number of commentators (including those found here, here, here, and here) to believe the field of UFO research may “changing” to such an extent that it is literally dying altogether.
Looking back, an interesting trend that does emerge, rather than being related to memes present elsewhere within the field of UFOlogy, is the apparent similarity between UFO abduction cases and other, unrelated phenomena. Namely, the descriptions of hallucinatory environments described by psychedelic “experiencers”, such as those featured in the written work of researchers like Rick Strassman, M.D., come to mind. In equal measure, we find such similarities in the Satanic ritual abuse panics of the 1980s, in which horrific torture and memories of abuse are recovered through hypnosis; again, the similarities emerge in more recent claims of “super-soldiers” who argue that their memories, recovered through hypnosis, seem to indicate their secret work as a government operative, memories of which were suppressed by utilizing advanced mind control technologies.
If we look further back in the last century, hypnotic regressions have similarly facilitated belief that some may have experienced encounters with highly advanced technologies and alien environments in other ways: namely through perceived “past lives”, during which the experiencers claim to remember lives in places like the lost city of Atlantis, asdescribed by Edgar Cayce, among others.
What can be made of all this, and how might our recognition of these apparent changes or “trends” help us to reevaluate some areas of the modern study of UFOs? Perhaps, at the heart of the matter, it is still a question of how the human mind perceives UFOs, and what beliefs — whether or not founded in reality — may be built around valid observations of strange aerial objects that are collected over time.
To conclude with a final anecdote, it was the late Fortean researcher John Keel who had often reminded us that “belief is the enemy”. Much as Keel suggested, perhaps it is our belief in UFOs that informs us the most about the subject… rather than what the phenomenon itself may actually represent.
That’s Army Chief of Staff General Mark Milley speaking to young military officers at the recent 100th anniversary of the ROTC program at Norwich University in Vermont. That’s right, he’s warning his future troops they will be facing “little green men.” Aliens? Martians? What does General Milley know that we don’t … yet?
General Milley warning about “little green men”
General Milley has been in the U.S. Army since 1980, served in command positions in eight divisions and Special Forces around the world and was appointed as the 39th Chief of Staff of the Army in 2015, so he should know what he’s talking about. But little green men? Shouldn’t he at least use a more military term like Miniature Jungle-Camouflaged Non-Earth Combatants?
The phrase “little green men” as a descriptor of scary beings dates back to the 12th century legend of the Green Children of Woolpit, a young brother and sister who allegedly had green skin, spoke a strange language and ate only beans (their green color could have been a dietary deficiency, although being around kids who ate only beans probably turned others green too).
As a term for extraterrestrials, folklore researcher Chris Aubeck found an article in an 1899 edition of the Atlanta Constitution referring to a little, green-skinned alien from the planet Hurrah. Edgar Rice Burroughs made what appears to be the first science fiction references to “green men of Mars” and “green Martian women” in his 1912 novel, A Princess of Mars. Aubeck also found mentions of little green men from Mars in the Daily Kennebec (Maine) Journal in 1908 and in an Italian report about a crashed spaceship a few years later. The term has since been popularized by everything from sci-fi to movies to I Love Lucy and The Flintstones.
But the U.S. Army? Maybe we should blame Russia, Ukraine, their respective medias and the conflict in Crimea for General Milley’s usage of the term. According to the BBC, after Russia took over Crimea in 2014, there were reports of armed men in solid green uniforms who were not part of the Russian army or any another known unit. They turned out to be local “self-defense groups” who bought their uniforms at military surplus stores. The Crimean locals and a Russian newspaper called them “little green men.”
Are these the “little green men” General Milley was warning about?
Was General Milley referring to covert soldiers in unidentifiable green uniforms fighting for a cause that may not be readily discernible as being friendly or the enemy?
Perhaps the new soldiers would prefer to deal with little green Martians instead.

The Universe has Trillions of Life-Supporting Planet, why haven’t we met Extraterrestrials?
The Universe has Trillions of Life-Supporting Planet, why haven’t we met Extraterrestrials?
It’s statistically pretty likely that there are plenty of planets which support life.
In fact, there are between 1 and 4 billion planets pretty much like Earth just in the Milky Way alone – and there are 100 billion galaxies out there, each with 100 to 1000 billion stars. Which means trillions and trillions of habitable planets. Right? There’s a thing called the “Fermi Paradox” that basically lays out the possible reasons why. (Yes, the Fermi Paradox came from physicist Enrico Fermi. Part of it — the odds that life exists elsewhere — is closely related to the Drake Equation). The first aspect of the Fermi Paradox is that sheer numbers concept above. The second aspect is that life tends to do well despite adversity, and it tends to colonize new habitats, pretty much all the time. So … why haven’t any E.T. types come and said hello?
Here are a few of many possible reasons:
1) Maybe it’s actually pretty difficult for complex life like that on our planet to develop. We don’t know yet. Maybe we’re unique or one of the first civilizations that’s made it this far. 2) It’s also possible that there’s a hard stop that means that any planet that supports life eventually stops supporting life and everything dies off — or kills itself. In other words, it’s possible that civilizations on all worlds hit a point where they destroy themselves, or are eliminated naturally. Always. Just as an example, 99% of all species that have ever lived on this planet are gone now.
3) This one’s scary but fascinating. Maybe there’s an ancient civilization that monitors the universe and when all worlds hit a certain point where they’re getting too big for their britches, steps in and takes them out. Bam.
4) There might be some extremely intelligent life forms out there that have checked us out, but decided to stay the heck away because we’re entirely too dangerous. I recall a Kurt Vonnegut sub-story called “The Dancing Fool” within the novel “Breakfast Of Champions” that rather hilariously depicts a version of that. Paraphrased, an alien with the knowledge to end wars and cancer but communicates solely by tap-dancing and farting lands in Connecticut, where he discovers a house on fire. He rushes in, dancing and farting away to warn them of the danger. The head of the house grabs his golf club and pummels the alien in the head until he’s quite dead. Smart aliens could take one look at us and wisely decide to stay the heck away.
5) Maybe, just maybe, we are indeed alone in the universe. I mean, it seems unlikely that this is the case based on sheer numbers. But still … it’s possible.
Time is a big factor — compared to the life of most planets and stars, humans have been here and able to communicate beyond ourselves for just a tiny sliver of time. So if someone happened across our Blue Dot and checked in on what kinds of life forms might be here, it could have been before we were even a species.
And there’s the additional consideration of distance — a ship would have to travel at thousands of times the speed of light to even cross the great divide that separates our solar system from the rest and arrive before the occupants are nothing but dust.
Maybe most or all life forms just don’t ever make it long enough to figure out how to reach out to other life-sustaining planets. It’s a daunting prospect — if it’s even possible — to travel that far, that fast. And even then, they’d have to travel specifically to our postal code in the universe in order to even find us. Unless they knew we were here by picking up our telecommunications or TV broadcasts or energy releases (nuclear bombs, NASA launches, etc.) or whatever other signals we might be casting into space, how would they know to travel here? And that’s even assuming that they’d be able to pick up those flags; they could be operating on a totally different level and wavelength. To me, it’s far more likely that we’ll find something hurtling past our planet or solar system that’s a shell of a ship or a remnant of a satellite, long empty of life and maybe much else. Or perhaps, like our Voyager space craft, someone will send something like a message in a bottle and it will long outlive the civilization which sent it off with a kiss and a wave.

The extraterrestrial presence and its political implications of are not at the centre of a public interest in the Czech Republic. The same goes for the field of ufology in general. Public awareness and knowledge about UFOs in the Czech Republic are non-existent. The Czech Republic officially has two UFO groups: best-known is Project - Glow (Prague), and there also is KPUFO (Club of Psychotronic and UFO – Plzen, western part of Czech Republic); apart from these, there also are some small regional groups.
But let us start from the beginning: since childhood, I had a strong feeling that some things are completely different than science says. After reading a book, by Erich von Däniken "Chariots of the Gods? Memories of the Future" as a teenager, I knew that my hunch was correct. Intuitively, I did never accept the idea that I come from monkeys. I knew something was wrong in our human´s history development. My views were very different from ordinary people, and I was often viewed as a man with "extravagant opinions." That's why I didn't want to study, I did not want to learn something that is not true. I got a press card and became free-lance journalist.
In 1998 I joined Project Glow, because it was the only one group interested in UFOs in Prague. I began to pursue cases of UFO abduction, because I received many letters of people describing this experience. I put together an investigation team with four colleagues. Based on my experience with this phenomenon, I wrote a book “Close Encounter of Fourth Kind” (UFO abduction in Czech Republic) (Votobia, 2002), where I collected 10 cases I explored with my team. To date we register over 130 similar cases in our database. (One is listed below).
2009 was a milestone year because of a shocking event. The main activity of Project Glow is supposed to be to gather global data and information about UFO sightings and to subsequently evaluate and process the data statistically. However, this project is too static. In my experience, they got nowhere fast and have no connection with foreign colleagues. Their evaluations are superficial and some of them are the real "armchair researchers," who prefer finding "natural explanations." Most of their researchers are debunkers and the group leader picks out carefully sceptical and very critical minded members. Exopolitics was vigorously rejected as baloney without studying it at all. They have begun to demonize Exopolitics and made a mockery of Exopolitics.
What we found out was absolutely stunning. The leader of this project has been an intelligence officer working for the Office for Foreign Relations and Information - Literally speaking it is the Intelligence service of the Czech Republic and partly belongs to Ministry of Internal Affairs. Project Glow has been compiled to obtain from their unsuspecting members information on sightings and witness testimonies for further intelligence processing.
Together with four of my colleagues, I immediately left the project, and established an Exopolitics group (2009). Now, we have about 15-20 exopolitical members or active supporters.
As an example I attach one of the intriguing cases. Interestingly, many participants later experienced "strange dreams", where they saw themselves on board of a spaceship and depicted the weird scenes with “lying on the tables”, watching something like “monitors” with “holograms”. They were shown a variety of “technical devices” or propulsion technology. All “dreamers” agreed that the beings were very tall and human-like in appearance. They described them as neither positive nor negative.
According to an eyewitness living in a small city south east of Prague a very interesting case occurred during a summer camp where the children attending it experienced encounters with strange beings. The case also reports about multiple observations of the Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) phenomenon.
A strange incident occurred during a summer camp for children
This incident happened in 1991. My daughter Petra was about to attend a summer camp for children, which she does every year. At the time she was 9-10 years old, and, like all school children, she was eagerly anticipating the upcoming two months of summer vacation. At the time we had recently moved to a new apartment, and while the children were attending the summer camp I used the time to complete some pending work in it.
The summer camp was located within the vicinity of Prague, in a place called Pelhrimov, approximately 120 km south east. After the summer camp was completed the children returned to their homes. During a chat with my daughter we asked her about the summer camp experiences, and she astonished me by asking what I thought about flying saucers. I was of course wondering why she asked about this, especially since the family never discussed such topics as UFOs. We were simply not interested in it.
After Petra had asked me this question, it seemed she could sense my hesitance and uncertainty, so she decided to solve the situation herself. She called on her friend, who was on a visit and who had also attended the summer camp. Both girls began to describe what they experienced while attending the summer camp only some days before.
Where do the lights come from?
Art by Sandra, 2013
It was during the last evening, and all the children were gathered around a large camp fire singing songs, playing guitar, and basically enjoying the last weekend before they were to head home the following day. Later that evening, around 10 or 11pm, the darkness around the camp suddenly changed, and the place was illuminated.
Everybody was wondering what was going on, and the children as well as the camp leaders raised their heads to watch above and see where the lights came from. All the camp participants could then observe a big flying saucer silently crossing the night sky. In a similar way as spotlights the saucer emitted three beams of light that were shining over the whole camp.
According to witnesses around the saucer itself there was a huge glow making it look as blue as a clear day. While it hovered in a still manner above the camp site its beams searched the ground easily, and of course, shortly after chaos ensued among the children and adults as well. Immediately the camp leaders brought the children into their respective tents, and a curfew was immediately implemented allowing no one to leave or look outside their tents.
But some of the most curious children kept peeping out of the tents towards the night sky. The flying saucer had set in motion and moved itself closer to the nearby forest. Again it stopped and hovered silently above some tall spruces. Disconnected from the bottom of the saucer, a large glowing sphere descended slowly towards the ground behind the forest. Shortly after a loud noise and a roar was heard, and after some time had passed the saucer started to hover above the forest again. Paradoxically, while a strict curfew had been implemented, the ban was only adhered to by the adults.
Three strange figures
Art by Sandra, 2013
A small group of girls, among them my daughter Petra, decided to pretend to go to the rest room so that they could escape from the tent to undertake an adventurous expedition. Their curiosity was great, and beside, the rest room facility was placed right next to the forest anyway. While heading back to the camp from the adventurous expedition two of the girls suddenly froze. Inside the forest on the path leading to the camp [three] tall white figures were observed, approximately two meters in height. To the girls these figures resembled tall people dressed in space suits. To see their faces was not possible since they wore something akin to modern-day space helmets. In a rather surprisingly manner the group of girls and the three white figures kept gazing at each other.
What followed appeared to be some kind of mutual examination, and shortly after the white figures began to retreat. In a slow motion they turned around and headed back into the forest. The girls ran all the way to their tents and informed the camp leaders about their experience. Apparently the girls were not the only ones who had observed the white figures. Other children had observed them as well. After the incident when the saucer first started to emerge over the camp the children had observed a sphere ascending over the top of the trees before returning to the flying saucer. Others observed that the sphere had withdrawn into the bottom of the saucer. The UFO then slowly moved away silently, and eventually the camp fell asleep.
Who made such a mess?
The next morning when everybody woke up no one could believe what they saw. A big camp fire leaves very little fine dust and ashes, and in any case, this is often scattered immediately around the camp fire area. But a sorry sight was presented to the camp participants. Everything that was composed of wood, such as benches that the children sat on around the camp fire, had been chopped and demolished into small pieces. Even the axe that had been left outside by the camp fire site had been demolished, and only its metal part was intact. How the camp destruction had happened could not be explained by anybody. Fortunately, the cabins and tents which the camp participants slept in remained absolutely undamaged.
After the morning cleaning routine, a group of the oldest children set off towards the place where the sphere or ball of light appeared the previous night. The site was only located a five-minute walk away. At the site the group could see what appeared to be a landing area. The clearing was small surrounded by high trees. The group also observed a circular pit in the middle of what was understood to be the landing area. They estimated it was six meters in diameter and one meter in depth. The edge of the pit was cut very precisely. The area of the forest ground where flora and fauna existed had disappeared. The examination completed by the group left them both shocked and surprised since they concluded that the unknown nightly visit from the night before had taken pieces of wood with them. Shortly after the examination the group returned to the camp to meet the parents who were waiting for them to take them home.
This case was released by Exopolitics Czech Republic.

EXCLUSIVE: AUSTRALIA'S SECRET UFO FILES RELEASED TODAY
EXCLUSIVE: AUSTRALIA'S SECRET UFO FILES RELEASED TODAY
It is probably the closest Australia has come to scrambling fighter jets to intercept a UFO.
Documents that have just become available under the 30-year rule at the National Archives of Australia reveal how two RAAF Mirage jets were placed on the second highest level of alert to determine the cause of unidentified radar contacts seen on screens at Mascot.
The ''X Files'' viewed in Canberra also give details of other unexplained sightings, some of which are supported by witness statements to police.
In the Sydney alert, the papers stamped ''restricted'' tell how operation ''Close Encounter'' was launched by No.3 Control and Reporting Unit at RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle on June 30, 1983, after the phenomenon was first noticed earlier in the month.
Senior air controllers at Mascot said the contacts were mostly located between 70 and 150 nautical miles north of Sydney at ''alleged speeds of 1100-6500 km/h that suggested high altitude''.
The papers state that no scramble was to occur in the round-the-clock operation unless confirmation of any reported tracks was made on the radar screens at RAAF Williamtown or any radar other than Sydney.
At the same time, three senior air defence controllers were dispatched to Sydney to investigate and plot every contact and ''control interceptors against these contacts if a reasonable chance of interception presented itself''. But then one of the defence controllers, a squadron leader, asked whether a comparison had been made of the contacts on the screens of Mascot's Area Approach Radar Centre and those in a ''workshop across the corridor''. Soon after, tests showed that the ''unidentified objects reported by Sydney were generated entirely by radar interference known colloquially as 'running rabbits' ''.
Squadron leader K. Keenan, in his six-page report, said operation Close Encounter cost 66½ days of overtime, 1000 kilometres was travelled by a staff car and a C130 Hercules transport aircraft ''may have been diverted to Sydney airport'' to deliver one of the defence controllers.
He wrote: ''The lines of communication, extending as they did across the width of an entire corridor, seem to have been insufficient for the purpose.''
He added rather dryly: ''Fortunately there was no temptation to launch aircraft and add to the fuel bill occasioned by use of the RAAF Datsun.'' A cautiously worded statement was released as a result ''in a manner that would not embarrass departmental personnel'' which blamed ''random atmospheric conditions''. Other reports in the X Files give details of an ''unidentified physical feature'' of circles on Milo Station at Adavale, Queensland, in 1982. The file refers to photographs that apparently were taken, but they were not among the papers.
Constable Geoffrey Russell, from the local police station, visited the site and wrote a report for RAAF Base Amberley near Ipswich. The officer saw depressions in the ground and thought they were caused by a motorcyclist doing donuts but then dismissed the idea.
He wrote: ''I strongly feel this [is] no hoax even though I do not know the cause of this 'feature'.''
He described a large circle of 2330mm in diameter with one inner circle of 2010mm which were 160mm in width and about 15-20 mm deep. The soil around the outer circle appeared to have been ''blown away'', he said.
Elsewhere in Queensland, dairy farmer Robin Priebe phoned Imbil police at 5.30am in July 1983 to report seeing a strange object in the sky to the north of the town. The papers state that a Sergeant Waterson then went to his back verandah and saw ''a large white light with several flashing lights around it'' which did not appear to be a normal aircraft.
A similar sighting was made by Constable R. Keys from a separate position. He was also of the opinion that it wasn't a normal aircraft.
Mr Priebe said both he and his wife saw a bright red glow gradually change to a white light which then started to move slowly east. Through binoculars, ''the light was disc shaped with a very bright light around the perimeter of the disc with two flashing lights in the front and one to the side'', he said.
AUTRALIA UFO FILES
The only photographs in the X Files were of unusual lights over Bendigo, witnessed by hundreds in May 1983. An interim report by the RAAF stated that Mike Evans, a 17-year-old disc jockey with the Bendigo radio station 3BO, received calls from listeners, then saw the lights himself and took photos.
One anonymous caller to the RAAF said the lights were caused by a rock group experimenting with laser lighting. The report said they were probably caused by train headlights or lasers or from planets or stars. There had been unusual weather atmospherics on the night.
Zoe¨ D'Arcy, director of digital and online access at the National Archives, said: ''Where you and I might think UFO - a spaceship - the RAAF and other agencies were probably wondering if there was a security threat.
''Most of the files you read and you think that most probably was a meteorite, but there are ones that you read and you think - well, what could that have been?''
I can't explain that from my knowledge ( via smh.com.au ).
''So what was it that these people have experienced? It has that open-ended question to it that I find really intriguing.''
Archaeologists know who built the Moai statues and they weren't Martians.
Were the huge iconic statues on Easter Island created (or influenced) by extraterrestrials?
The idea that extraterrestrials visited ancient civilizations has been around for decades, a theory most prominently promoted by Erich von Daniken, author of the best-selling classic work of pseudoscience "Chariots of the Gods?: Unsolved Mysteries of the Past."
Von Daniken believes, for example, that ancient Egyptians had neither the intelligence nor the tools to create the pyramids at Giza — thus they must have been made by aliens. Similar claims have been made about the Mayan pyramids in Central America and the giant drawings in the Nazca desert of Peru.
A writer on Huliq.com suggested that a recent BBC television show called Wild Pacific repeats that claim, though it’s not clear whether the show actually made the UFO-related claims attributed to it or not.
Such ideas are hardly new; the piece also references a report from a quasi-official French UFO research organization named COMETA which asks, “Who built these giant stone statues and how did they get there on this remote Pacific Island?”
Yet such mystery-mongering questions are red herrings. Archaeologists know who built the moai statues: people who lived on the island, not Martians. The question of how the statues got “there on this remote Pacific Island” misleadingly suggests that the huge carvings were somehow brought vast distances across the ocean for some unknown, mysterious purpose to this remote island.
In fact, the stone (actually a substance called tuff, compressed and easily carved volcanic ash) was taken from an extinct volcano called Rano Raraku on the northeastern part of the island and transported using ropes and logs to various sites along the coast. There’s no mystery where the moai came from; in fact hundreds of them can be found still embedded and only partially carved out of the side of Rano Raraku volcano.
So if there’s no mystery who carved the huge, enigmatic stone heads, and there’s no mystery where the heads came from, then the only remaining mystery is why they were carved. Researchers believe that each head (and torso — many of the figures are buried deep in the ground and go below the waist) represented a deceased head of a family or clan. The inhabitants of Easter Island (believed to once number in the thousands) gradually diminished due to internal warfare, slavery and disease.
Thus there remains no real mystery to be answered, by wild speculation about extraterrestrials or anything else. Unfortunately the real, genuine history and cultural traditions of ancient civilizations are often overshadowed by sensational and fictional theories about aliens.

Mystery 'triangle UFO' seen on BOTH sides of US in seperate sightings just 24 hours apart
Mystery 'triangle UFO' seen on BOTH sides of US in seperate sightings just 24 hours apart
A BIZARRE "triangle-shaped UFO" was reported being seen in the skies above the east and west USA - with sightings just one day apart, www.express.co.uk can exclusively reveal.
A CGI impression of one of the huge triangle UFOs after an earlier sighting
Paranormal investigators are looking at the two independent reports which were made to them the same day.
In the first sighting, at 8.30pm local time on Saturday an unnamed witness told the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) he and his wife were left speechless after the "once in a lifetime experience" of seeing an enormous triangle-shaped flat object flying silently towards Los Angeles in California.
The second sighting was at 9.15pm in Geneva, Ohio, about 2,300 miles away on the eastern side of the continent.
Both witnesses said they were unable to successfully film or photograph the events, but each provided sketches of what they saw.
Remarkably, both were large triangles with seven lights along two of the edges.
In a report to MUFON about the Californian sighting, above Inglewood about five miles outside the city, the man said the family were chatting, when it drifted into view.
He wrote: "Exactly at 8.30 pm over our heads, suddenly appeared a triangular-shaped object, with very dim lights, of almost yellowish tone.
MUFON
A sketch of the latest LA sighting drawn by the witness and sent to MUFOn as evidence
MUFON
The witness in Geneva also independently sent in a computer sketch of the object with the same shape
"The object was gliding on a straight line going west. It was apparently close or too big and there was no kind of noise produced by the flying object that was flying at approximately at 50 miles per hour.
"To my wife and I there was no doubt what we were witnessing was a non man-made airplane or drone.
"It looked nothing like a drone, airplane or helicopter, was flat and produced no noise almost like the object was trying to sneak through the sky."
The pair tried excitedly to video and photograph it, but said due to local bright lighting, it would not show on the images.
He added: "I was in shock. The flying source simply disappeared before our eyes continuing his way to the west exactly in the direction of LA, leaving us speechless and with the certainty that what we both witnessed was a once in a life time experience."
Just over 24 hours later, another unnamed witness told of seeing a similar craft coming from this time west to the east.

Yet another MUFOn case CGI, leading some to believe these UFOs are really out there
The flying source simply disappeared before our eyes continuing his way to the west exactly in the direction of LA, leaving us speechless and with the certainty that what we both witnessed was a once in a life time experience.
Los Angeles witness
In a report to MUFON, they said: "I noticed the lights directly overhead travelling from west to east.
"There were approximately seven lights. Three in triangular shape in the centre, then two lights on each side of the three centre.
"The two lights on the sides extended out very far, a very large craft."
This person noticed a faint noise being made.
He said: "I had no way to record this event and just stood there carefully examining the lights due to the fact I've never seen anything like it.
"It flew slowly over trees and I lost sight of it. It did not sound like a jet, but a steady rumble or hum for the duration."
MUFON investigators, who are part of the world's largest database of UFO sightings based in the states, will be examining both cases to see if they could be connected.
MUFON
A MUFON recreation of another similar UFO sighting reported to it in 2010
They will also likely look back at similar previous reports which have been made to MUFON before.
On November 14 2010, a witness reported seeing a "mind-blowing" triangle-shaped UFO the "size of a football field" move silently overhead in California at 1.45 am, that time with 12 red-amber lights outlining it.
In February that year in Punta Gorda, Florida, a graphic designer saw a triangle-shaped UFO move over buildings and then hover.
The witness said the object had a total of seven white lights.
There have been other reports in Plainfield, Illinois, and Sedona, Arizona.
In most cases the objects are described as huge and either silent or humming.
In 2012, the Huffington Post published a report saying the triangles were one of the most common UFO sightings across the globe.
Some conspiracy theorists claim they are secret aircrafts developed by the US government, and sceptics say they are just misidentified regular aircrafts.

‘UFO’ SPOTTED ON LIVE CAM OVER ELK REFUGE NEAR YELLOWSTONE: ALIENS MONITORING SUPERVOLCANO COULD MEAN ERUPTION IS IMMINENT, CONSPIRACY THEORISTS RAISE ALARM [VIDEO]
‘UFO’ SPOTTED ON LIVE CAM OVER ELK REFUGE NEAR YELLOWSTONE: ALIENS MONITORING SUPERVOLCANO COULD MEAN ERUPTION IS IMMINENT, CONSPIRACY THEORISTS RAISE ALARM [VIDEO]
Following reported sighting of a “UFO” hovering over the Elk Refuge near Yellowstone, UFO bloggers have raised alarm, saying that an uptick in UFO activity near the Yellowstone Supervolcano at the National Park in Wyoming could mean that aliens are preparing for a major eruption of the volcano.
The alleged UFO appeared for a few minutes in footage uploaded to YouTube on Thursday, April 28, by Kat Martin2016. It appeared as light passing in front of a live cam at the Elk Refuge.
According to Kat Martin2016, she was looking at live cams in the area when she noticed the mysterious light passing over the Elk Refuge in the middle of night. The YouTuber speculated that the light might have been a reflection from the headlights of a vehicle nearby.
“I was browsing some live cams and stopped in at the Elk refuge, and this happened in the middle of nowhere, in the middle of the night, at an Elk refuge near Yellowstone,” Kat Martin2016 writes. “It is probably a passing vehicle that caused the reflection.”
The YouTube user then dropped a hint about aliens knowing that members of the UFO community would take the message and run with it.
“I am sure some will think it is the handiwork of aliens and that the reflection is a tiny spaceship,” she writes in the video description.
And as expected, UFO Sightings Daily’s Scott Waring declared as soon as he saw the footage that the light was an alien UFO drone conducting surveillance flight over Yellowstone to monitor the volcano’s activity.
“OMG! I knew it! It took less than one day for this to be taken and posted on a UFO site…”
According to Waring, UFOs are commonplace on wildlife live cams so the latest sighting at Yellowstone National Park was not unusual. In Waring’s expert opinion, Kat Martin2016 was mistaken in her assumption that the mysterious object was just a light reflection.
“The shadows on the side of this object make me think it is a three dimensional object and not a reflection,” Waring argues. “Alien drones often record data […] in nature. This catch may be one of those drones.”
Other UFO bloggers were more concerned about the implications of the suggestion that aliens are monitoring the Yellowstone Supervolcano. That aliens are monitoring the volcano should cause humans concern because it could indicate that aliens are worried the supervolcano could erupt, conspiracy theorists reasoned.
Referring to recent footage that shows an apparent uptick in activity at the volcano (see YouTube above) with ominous bright flashes and steam issuing from a geyser, UFO Sightings Hotspot raises alarm that “something weird is going on” at Yellowstone.
“Something weird is really going on there as a big flash (at 4.05 mark first video – left of the screen) comes out of one of the geysers,” the blog warns.
The UFO blogger then speculates fancifully that the uptick in UFO activity over Yellowstone could be due to alien UFOs tapping “energy from the magma moving up underneath the ground.”
The writer suggests that alien technology could be able to harvest and store energy obtained directly from hot magma.
“It’s the same concept as what we see as lightning at the top of a volcano that’s erupting, UFOs are quite often spotted around active volcanoes for that reason,” the blogger explains further.
Conspiracy theorists consider active volcanoes to be UFO hotspots [Image via Shutterstock]However, other UFO hunters, including Waring, speculate that the alien UFOs seen flying over the volcano could belong to alien species that have an alien UFO base built beneath the supervolcano. The aliens were flying a drone over the volcano to monitor its activity for predictive purposes, according to alien hunters.
Volcanoes, especially active ones, are considered UFO hotspots and UFO conspiracy theorists believe aliens often build UFO bases beneath volcanoes because the interior of volcanoes are inaccessible to humans.
For instance, UFO hunters claim that major volcanoes, such as Popocatepetl and Colima in Mexico, have large underground UFO bases. It is also believed there is a major government-alien UFO base beneath the Old Faithful geyser at Yellowstone.
TheInquisitrreported recently that a conspiracy theory has emerged online about an impending Yellowstone false flag event. According to rumors making the rounds in the conspiracy theory blogosphere, there is a sinister plan to induce an eruption of the Yellowstone volcano. The rumor, which apparently originated on the conspiracy theory-leaning website, The Common Sense Show, claims that a group was conducting “fracking style” activity near the supervolanco ostensibly with the aim of inducing an eruption. Another group was reportedly conducting experiments using “electromagnetic interference” to induce an eruption.
Footage captured on April 18 by a videographer named Shawn that appeared to show a UFO crashing at a spot near the supervolcano sparked speculation that the crash was linked to the alleged plan to stage a Yellowstone false flag operation (see YouTube videos below).
The ongoing conspiracy theory hysteria over the Yellowstone Supervolcano started online after geologists, such as Roger Bilham at the University of Colorado, warned that recent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions along the infamous Ring of Fire indicate that the world is going through a spike in seismic activity that raises concern about the risk of potentially catastrophic earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in the U.S. West Coast.
Footage uploaded online by Kart Martin2016 on April 15 showing a Yellowstone geyser bubbling with renewed life appeared to confirm fears.

‘UFO CRASH’ AT YELLOWSTONE SPARKS RUMORS OF IMMINENT FALSE FLAG EVENT – SECRET PLANS UNDERWAY TO INDUCE ERUPTION OF SUPERVOLCANO, CONSPIRACY THEORISTS SAY [VIDEO]
‘UFO CRASH’ AT YELLOWSTONE SPARKS RUMORS OF IMMINENT FALSE FLAG EVENT – SECRET PLANS UNDERWAY TO INDUCE ERUPTION OF SUPERVOLCANO, CONSPIRACY THEORISTS SAY [VIDEO]
Fear-mongering rumors of an impending Yellowstone false flag event, an alleged plan by a sinister group linked to government, to induce artificially an eruption of the Yellowstone Supervolcano that could lead to an extinction level event (ELE) are gaining traction in the doomsday blogosphere and spreading fear and panic among the susceptible readers.
The rumors follow reports of increased activity that have sparked fears that the Yellowstone volcano could erupt.
And even as rumors of an alleged impending Yellowstone false flag event spread, UFO hunters are scrutinizing closely new YouTube footage allegedly showing a UFO crashing at a spot in the Yellowstone National Park near the Yellowstone Supervolcano (see YouTube below).
The video purportedly showing a massive UFO crashing near the supervolcano has sparked rumors of sinister experiments at Yellowstone linked to an alleged plan to stage a false flag operation that involves inducing artificially a massive eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano.
The footage (see above) captured by an amateur videographer, called Shawn, shows a large object burning up in the sky and then crashing at a spot in the Yellowstone National Park reportedly close to the supervolcano on the morning of April 18, 2016.
Some UFO conspiracy theorists, such as UFO Sightings Daily editor Scott Waring, believe the object is an alien UFO spacecraft that crashed to Earth, possibly while monitoring the volcano for signs of increased activity.
Commenting on the incident, Waring pointed out that it would be difficult to locate the crash site in the vast expanse of wilderness that constitutes the Yellowstone National Park. But he argued that the fact that the object crashed at such an isolated area suggests a deliberate choice by an alien pilot attempting to avoid contact with humans.
But other conspiracy theorists have linked the incident with rumors about a sinister, clandestine plan to stage a Yellowstone false flag attack by triggering a major eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano.
Fear-mongering rumors of a plan to stage a false flag attack by artificially triggering an eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano appear to have originated on the blog The Common Sense Show.
On April 19, 2016, the blog published a letter it allegedly received from an “anonymous source” that identified as a “geologist and geophysicist.”
The anonymous letter writer alleged that a clandestine group, apparently linked to government, was planning to artificially induce an eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano by conducting “fracking-style” activity near the supervolcano.
“We discovered fracking that was going on at the site of one of our investigations [at Yellowstone] in which the quakes in the area were increasing exponentially,” the letter read.
“It was our operating hypothesis that the fracking was able to redirect pressure point of any quake or subsequent magma eruption…,” the letter continued. “Based on the limited data set available, it looks like the ‘frackers’ were experimenting… in other words, somebody was trying to assess if they could cause a series of eruptions at Yellowstone.”
“In other words, somebody was trying to assess if they could cause a series of eruptions at Yellowstone…”
The anonymous source went on to say he obtained information from another colleague working independently at Yellowstone that the group was also investigating other methods — including “electromagnetic interference” — that could be used to induce an eruption of the supervolcano.
The anonymous letter writer then alleged that scientific evidence shows that the recent earthquake in Ecuador was not caused naturally but was induced artificially. According to the anonymous writer, Ecuador was used to test a technology that could soon be applied to trigger a catastrophic eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano.
“The quakes in Ecuador are not natural and do not follow expected patterns,” the letter said. “Ecuador could be a test for what is coming to Yellowstone. If this technology was directed to the highly volatile Yellowstone region… I can tell you without hesitation that one-third of the country would be completely uninhabitable for years. Tens of millions of people would die.”
“The quakes in Ecuador are not natural… Ecuador could be a test for what is coming to Yellowstone.”
According to the purveyors of the Yellowstone false flag conspiracy theory, the clip allegedly showing a UFO crashing at Yellowstone actually shows the test run of a technology to induce an eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano. But some supporters of the theory that the footage shows a UFO crashing have argued that the UFO crash theory is not necessarily inconsistent with the Yellowstone false flag theory, and that both probably complement each other.
It is believed widely in the UFO community that there is a major top-secret government-alien UFO base beneath the Old Faithful geyser. The government-linked group planning the false flag operation, according to UFO conspiracy theorists, could be working with an alien race to achieve it goals.
Volcanoes are recognized widely as UFO hotspots. According to UFOlogists, frequent sightings of UFOs near the world’s major volcanoes, such as Popocatepetl and Colima in Mexico, show that extraterrestrials take an interest in Earth’s volcanoes. It is claimed that alien scientists observe Earth’s volcano to understand the planet’s geology while other UFO experts point to alleged evidence that aliens often choose to locate their UFO bases beneath volcanoes because humans are unable to access them.
Alien and UFO hunters who believe there is an underground alien base beneath the Yellowstone supervolcano cite recent multiple reports of strange lights over the Yellowstone park as evidence of UFOs landing and taking off from the alleged underground alien base.
TheInquisitr also reported last month that grainy webcam footage captured by the upper geyser basin night time live streaming camera at the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming and uploaded to YouTube on March 1, 2016, by Kat Martin2016 (see above) went viral in the online UFO community after UFO hunters began touting it as proof of alien UFO activity linked to the Yellowstone Supervolcano.
If there’s anything Floridians love, it’s cigars, aliens and bath salts. One fortunate resident was able to get two-thirds of those the other day on film. One video shows a cigar-shaped UFO flying over the skies of Saint Petersburg. Scientists were not available to comment as they had their hands full with a weird new comet. Plus, no one believes a Florida man anyway.
DID UFO CIGAR ESCAPE FROM CUBA?
A Florida man in Saint Petersburg caught some interesting footage the other day. No, it was not some girls gone wild at spring break, but a strange UFO flying in the sky. Usually, one is used to seeing circular saucers or square like alien objects, but this one was unique. As shown in the video, the out of focus object is long and slender, much like one of the many cigars produced in Cuba. Not to say there is any relationship but it is a little strange. Cubans love cigars and Floridians love UFOs, it’s odd the two would appear in one. If only there were some scientists available to put this to rest. Oh, right. They are off observing events of substance.
ASTRONOMERS DETECT WEIRD COMET HEADING OUR WAY
A crack team of researchers from the University of Hawaii has made an interesting discovery the other day. A report from Reuters says a weird comet without a tail was discovered and it’s made of the same type of rock found here on Earth. Astronomers believe this discovery could help us shed light on our solar system humble beginning. The comet was likely formed in the same area as Earth before it began it’s solar orbit. There may even be more of these organic UFO’s out there.
DANCING WITH THE STARS
Depending on how many of these comets are found, scientists will be able to figure out if planets dance around the stars when they were young or if they grew up in a more stable environment. The comet they are calling “Manx”, after a cat without a tail, is not the average comet. It contains materials similar to those found in the asteroids stretching between Mars and Jupiter. It also has no long stream of vaporized ice associated with many comets. While scientists continue to work on the mysteries of our universe, Floridians can keep themselves busy with cigar UFO’s. Who knows what they will find next.
