With dramatic decadence and abundance at its heart, this collection is all about channelling self-indulgent Artistry from gleaming glamour to ravishingly undone beauty. “Over-indulgent sparkles and gorgeously rich tones are on the menu this autumn, gilding the features to create breathtaking beauty that feeds all the senses,” says M·A·C Global Senior Artist Dominic Skinner.

Tempting Fate invites you to surrender to your craving for plush pigments and tantalizing textures – with all- new products enrobed in luxurious special-edition, gilded baroque packaging.

At the centre of this collection is Eye Shadow x 8: Feast Your Eyes – a palette of saturated shadows featuring decadent colourful hues and three all-new textures.

“These shadows create an eye look that could sit happily within the palace of Versailles,” says Skinner. Craft a smouldering stare by pairing the palette with Eye Kohl – available in three rich, colourful shades. “Start by applying the gorgeously bold Eye Kohl in Cobalt Kohl all over the lids – stopping at the sockets – and under your lower lash lines. Blend and soften the edges with the 224S Brush,” says Skinner. “Using your finger, press Velvet Vamp and Feast Your Eyes eye shadow shades overtop. Finish off by defining eyes with Brocade Renegade using a 228S Brush and In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash for eyes fit for a queen.”

Pamper your lips with plush berry and neutral pigments, each in tantalizing Matte or Amplified textures – with no rules. Diffuse the edges of your lipstick for a ravished appearance or paint on crisp and controlled colour for full-on decadence. After catering to your eyes and lips, play with three versions of Strobe Face Gaze for luminous, dimensional colour. Finish with a spritz of Fix+ Goldlite to keep the allure in place with an added gold, shimmery glow.
