 Concerninh the MIDAIR COLISSION on 08 Agust around 1200 hour in NEWYORK in the USA

 do I have no more information than you have seen in the media!!

 A colega pilot from AOPA who fly in this region confirmed thad there is no ATC in this airpsace and

 it is a area used by many low altitude VFR operators

This means the SAFETY and SEPARATION is maintained by the VISUAL LOOK OUT of the

 pilots

In this type of airspace each pilot has to be vigilant and aply the priority rules and take the

 regulated aplications to avoud collision between other aircraft and maintain a safe distance from a

 other aircraft visualy

 LOOK OUT is VITAL

Apaerently the pilot of the PIPER PA32  dit not maintain a safe distance from the helicopter but

 this has to be evaluated by the investigation by the NTSB

LOOK OUT is one of the vital procedure each student pilot is been indoctrinated and by each

 BIENAL FLIGHT CHECK  reevaluated by the FI

VFR= VISUAL FLIGHT RULES
