Baffling mystery: Star that’s older than the universe

It’s something that shouldn’t be possible. Scientists have been left baffled by a star that appears to be older than the universe itself.

Astronomers are stumped over a star that appears to be older than the universe.

So how is that possible? That’s the question that an international conference in California attempted to answer.

But instead of solving the mystery, theorists are now questioning whether there is something wrong with the current scientific model of the universe — based on Einstein’s famous theories.

The best estimates put the universe’s age at about 13.8 billion years. But the star, HD 140283, appears to be 14.5 billion years old — a difference of 0.7 billion years.

“It’s a riddle of cosmic proportions: How can the universe contain stars older than itself?” physicist Robert Matthews wrote for The National.

“That’s the conundrum now facing astronomers trying to establish the age of the universe — and its resolution could spark a scientific revolution.”

Dubbed the “Methuselah star”, HD 140283 is about 200 light-years away from Earth. It’s one of the oldest stars known.

“Astronomers now know it contains very little iron — which means it must have been formed before this element became common in the universe,” Dr Matthew wrote.

“And that implies HD 140283 must be almost as old as the universe itself.”

So what should we make of the discrepancy?

The exact age of the universe is imprecise. Scientists say it could be 800 million years younger or older.

According to Dr Matthews, new research into gravitational waves could also resolve the paradox.

Einstein’s famous theory of gravity is also in the spotlight.

His general theory of relativity, one of the towering achievements of 20th-century physics, is one of the most successful theories devised.

It’s also been repeatedly backed by observational evidence.

But Dr Matthews said applying the theory to the whole universe had led to surprising results.

“In the meantime, theorists have been busy dreaming up new physics that might solve the problem,” he wrote.

The supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way is normally quiet, but in May it surprised astronomers with an unprecedented explosion of infrared light.

The closest supermassive black hole to Earth, called Sagittarius A*, or Sgr A*, suddenly got 75 times brighter than normal along the near-infrared region of the light spectrum for two hours on May 13, a team of scientists has found.

According to a new paper they published on August 5 in arXiv, a Cornell University repository for scientific papers that are not yet peer reviewed, this was the brightest flash scientists had seen in 20 years of observing the black hole - and twice as bright as any previously recorded.

"The black hole was so bright I at first mistook it for the star S0-2, because I had never seen Sgr A* that bright," Tuan Do, an astronomer and lead author of the paper, told ScienceAlert. "I knew almost right away there was probably something interesting going on with the black hole."

The new findings "push the limits of the current statistical models," since those don't account for infrared flux levels this high, and suggest scientists' understanding of our galaxy's central black hole is not up-to-date, the team wrote in the paper.

Scientists think every galaxy has an especially dense "supermassive" black hole at its center. The proximity of Sgr A* makes it the easiest black hole for scientists to study. The team that discovered this unprecedented flare-up observed Sgr A* for four nights with an infrared camera at the Keck Observatory on Mauna Kea in Hawaii.

They were hoping to test Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity by observing how the black hole warped a nearby star's light. They got what they came for, plus the unprecedented infrared flare.

Do tweeted a time lapse of the event on Saturday.

"We think that something unusual might be happening this year because the black hole seems to vary in brightness more, reaching brighter levels than we've ever seen in the past," Do told Vice.

But the researchers aren't sure what exactly is going on.

In black holes, matter gets packed into a tiny space, giving them extremely powerful gravity - Sgr A*, for example, has the mass of 4 million suns. The pull of a black hole is so strong that even light cannot escape, so researchers have to observe the infrared or X-ray light that radiates out from the black hole and interacts with nearby gas and stars.

The researchers think such an interaction could have caused this bright flash. Specifically, they said, an interaction with a nearby star that passed near Sgr A* in 2018 could have disturbed gas flows at the edge of the black hole's grasp.

They also pointed to a dust cloud that passed near Sgr A* in 2014 but didn't get dramatically torn apart the way astronomers thought it would. The brightness could be a "delayed reaction," they wrote.

NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory captured an unprecedented X-ray flare from Sagittarius A* in 2013. This event was 400 times brighter than the usual X-ray output from the black hole.

In 2013, scientists detected an equally mysterious X-ray flare-up from Sgr A*, which was 400 times brighter than its normal levels of X-ray radiation.

Scientists should continue monitoring Sgr A* to see if it's experiencing significant changes, Do's team wrote. More research could also be used to update models of the regular flux of the black hole's radiation levels.

"Many astronomers are observing Sgr A* this summer," Do told Vice. "I'm hoping we can get as much data as we can this year before the region of the sky with Sgr A* gets behind the sun and we won't be able to observe it again until next year."

Rare Blue UFO Seen From Plane Over Ocean Near Taiwan, Aug 12, 2019, Video, UFO Sighting News.

This was sent to me by a friend who saw this blue disk over the cloud during sunset. They were about one hour away from Taiwan when they noticed this glowing blue disk over the dark clouds. The disk seems to be hiding behind the darker cloud. The person said they kept it in sight as long as they could, but soon it was behind the plane. This is great raw footage of a rare glowing blue UFO over the ocean. The best time to see a UFO is during sunset, because the suns angle cuts through any cloaked craft in the sky revealing it for a few minutes.

Guys this really makes me angry. Its one thing to see those Instagramers using photoshop for selfies, but its another to catch NASA using it for photo that they make public. 

I wanted to have a better look at this photo, so I downloaded it and added light to it. Suddenly I saw a mess all around the edges of the photo and across its surface. The photo looks grainy and sandy. Its got scratches and brush marks on it, as if someone used a paint brush to wipe off the dirt from a camera lens. I'm really not sure what NASA did. Did they paint this scene and pretend its a photo? Or did they turn this horrible photo into a HD perfection by using photoshop to fool the public? That original photo was literally garbage! And the used photoshop to make it acceptable by the public. Thats like feeding people recycled food when they thought they were eating freshly made food. It sickens me. 

One thing is certain, we cannot trust NASA to release unedited photo to the public. This is 100% proof they edit photos and if they do that, they also will edit out alien structures and ships.

Ancient Writing Reveals Mythological Weapon Hiding In Crater On Moon, UFO Sighting News.

Guys, I found the letters VEL with an arrow after it pointing up. I believe that this is referring to the ancient holy mythological spear VEL in which a goddess embodied all her powers into the spear so that it can protect her son in battle. Its an ancient religious holy relic which is still worshiped and celebrated in countries today. I believe that this holy relic spear has powers that were given not by a goddess, but by an advanced alien race that were godlike and the mother made this weapon to protect her son in battle. Much like Thor was given a hammer from his father. 

I also believe that the arrow at the end of the word VEL is a spear, pointing to where the ancient spear is hidden. This is in Jackson Crater on Earths moon. What better way to hide a relic from humanity than to place it on a moon orbiting the planet? VEL is real and it could be a dangers weapon in the wrong hands.

UFO Seen During Daytime Causes Camera To Die, Video, UFO Sighting News.

This UFO glowed brightly during sunset as they were driving down the dirt road. However the camera battery suddenly died, making the video very short. UFOs often cause electronic disruption...as seen with the camera cutting out. The person is speaking Spanish and you can clearly hear their astonishment at what they were seeing. Many times the outer hull of UFOs will appear to be bright light. Maybe its the propulsion that causes that or maybe they think appearing as light is less frightening for eyewitnesses. Either way, many UFO reports do report of glowing objects. This looks 100% real. I believe the area has a high chance of being Mexico from its appearance.

This is a great video of a UFO over Jackson, Wyoming last weekend. This is not just a disk, but an orb maker. Its planting orb drones every so often to cover and record an area. At 2:36 it becomes very bright...and produces a drone...which you can see below it. This is a rare catch. I only see a video of a seeding event every few years. This video is teaching us why the UFO came. To gather intel. Also, it will come back for the mini drones in a few weeks. Till then the mini drones fly around from cloud to cloud, usually cloaked, but can be easily seen with an infrared camera. They will follow birds, planes and explore while recording everything.

Then, at right around 3:41 a.m., she saw something on the screen that caught her eye. “My coworker thought something was broken on the camera,” she said. It could have been a meteor, but it was moving too slowly and seemingly too close to the ground. A plane, perhaps? “I checked online, there weren’t any flights that I could find at that time.” Buckrail also checked the flight log database on US Department of Transportation website and no flights are recorded in that airspace at that time. I found some faces in a Mars photo today. I think the faces are literally the most important discovery a person can make next to actually finding a living alien life form. The faces tell us what they saw, what they looked like, what they feared. It shows us the character of the person, are they forgiving, kind, thoughtful, cruel, angry, mean, feared. A single face tells us so many things its unbelievable.

 

For some people its nothing, they fear that someone will label them as crazy. But when a stone ancient face was found on Earth in North Carolina last month...everyone could see it...even though its characteristics were less defining and less detailed than the faces I show you here today. Just because I found it on Mars...people are afraid...because if they say....yes...then they are literally changing everything they were ever taught and programed to think about life.  That...is a frightening thing for anyone to encounter.

I was watching the space station live cam when I noticed the same structures under the ocean many times. What I mean is that the cam was not live at all but playing the same video all week. I saw these buildings and decide to record them. Once I enlarged them I became confident that these were ancient ruins under the ocean. Watch in the video how you can see the reflection of the sun off the surface of the water on the upper right part of the video. The long white trail...is a contrail from a jet. often seen from orbit, not a river as some suggested. This may be the lost city of Atlantis. I see no other known city of such size. Those buildings are hundreds of miles across!

Flying Orb Caught On Forest Cam Observing Deer, Video, Aug 2019, UFO Sighting News.

This orb was recorded on a deer cam a few nights ago. The orb is seen near the animals, observing and following them as they eat the grass. These orbs are thought to be alien drones which enable aliens to see, hear and even feel the things around the orb drone. Most aliens cannot live with our air, gravity, bacteria and other elements that may be fatal to them. Each species adapts to their own planets environment and each planet has a different environment in which life sprung forth. For instance we often make the mistake that all life must breath air...but its not true. For instance two years ago Russian astronauts cleaning the space stations solar panels found reported finding giant plankton living on the solar panels in space without air. Of course NASA ignored this and never reported anything about it, but Russia got credit for finding the first alien life on that day. 

Humans are not the only interest to aliens, our whole planet and every living thing on it is of interest to them. This camera has an infrared filter on it and flashes an IR light allowing it to see anything in the area, even if it was cloaked. A normal camera might not pick up this orb in the daytime.

Sen. Bernie Sanders promises to reveal the truth about aliens if he ever becomes president in the 2020 presidential election. Now the problem here is that most people believe the president can just say what they want and do what they want when it comes to aliens. Thats not true at all. President Kennedy was assassinated by the CIA or MIB in order to stop him from releasing information about the existence of aliens. Its true, I was first to publish it in my book "UFO Sightings of 2006-2008." Where I first publish a document that I had found that revealed a memo from president Kennedy to NASA telling them to reveal all information NASA has learned about space to the public...less than a week later he was dead. Now many people tried to take credit for my hard work by saying they discovered the document...all were published after my book. But I'm use to that happening. 

What I'm saying is any president who thinks he can reveal the truth...will be killed by the CIA. No president not even Trump has the courage or the power to reveal the existence of intelligent aliens.

Space Station Found At Orion Constellation! Video, UFO Sighting News.

I have been using this map program a few years now and have kept loads of things I have found in a file, this object being one of them. This giant blue crystal-like space station is out there near the Orion Constellation near the back foot. In the video I thought it was the head are, my bad. 

Clearly aliens can build a space station any way they want and this one seems to have a very artistic appearance to it. If your species is so advanced that their technology is millions of years ahead of our own, then they wont need planets any longer. They literally can chose to create their own planet size space stations and move from place to place in the universe. I would love to meet this species. It looks like a very creative species.

Alien Buildings Found In Crater On Moon In NASA Index! Can We Take It Over? UFO Sighting News.

I found a lot of alien structures, some are buildings and others appear to be landed ships. The structures are all silver metallic objects with shiny white reflective windows. These buildings are very old, but out in the vacuum of space structures can remain intact for millions of years. 

I imagine that one of these structures would easily be taken over by a group of human traveling to the moon and would make a great starting point for someone like Jeff Bezos space exploration program Blue Origins. The structure are right there, ripe for the taking, and waiting for new occupants and with the alien tech inside they should have power for hundreds of years. Can you see it? Blue Origins Space City at Dionysius crater becoming the next vacation resort.

UFOs Caught Visiting The Space Station, Close Up, High Detail! Video, UFO Sighting News.

This is one of the most extraordinary UFOs I have ever seen at the space station. Youtube user Tom Brown caught something on the space station live cam that is mind blowing. Two triangle UFOs move upward and within view of the camera, at that point the UFOs realise that they have been seen and move away, vanishing into the darkness of space. The camera also notices the UFOs and tries to move away from that location. UFOs often move in pairs, I have seen orbs in pairs move like this, but never triangle UFOs and never this close with such amazing detail. And we see each one is a different color, one red larger craft and one smaller grey-brown craft. These are 100% alien craft watching over the space station.

DE UFO-INVASIE VAN WASHINGTON IS NOOIT OPGEHELDERD ( VIDEO )

Gedurende twee weekenden in 1952 was heel Amerika in de ban van een ufo invasie boven Washington. 

Talloze getuigen zagen ze, ze zijn gefilmd, militaire jets probeerden ze te achtervolgen en nooit is er een fatsoenlijke verklaring gekomen.

De gebeurtenissen die toen plaatsvonden worden ook wel omschreven als "The Big Flap" en het begon allemaal kort voor middernacht op zaterdag 19 juli 1952. 

Op dat moment zag luchtverkeersleider Edward Nugent op zijn radarscherm op Washington National Airport zeven traag bewegende objecten die in niets leken op militaire of burgervliegtuigen. 

Hij riep zijn baas erbij en zei voor de grap dat hij een vloot vliegende schotels op zijn scherm zag. 

Op hetzelfde moment waren er nog twee verkeersleiders die een vreemd fel licht zagen dat stil leek te hangen en toen plotseling met een enorme snelheid wegschoot. 

Op het nabijgelegen militaire vliegveld Andrews Air Force Base zagen verkeersleiders ook vreemde onbekende blips op hun radarschermen. Objecten die plotsklaps wegschoten met naar schatting snelheden hoger dan 10.000 kilometer per uur. 

Eén van de verkeersleiders op Andrews keek door het raam naar buiten en zei dat hij iets zag dat leek op een oranje vuurbol met een staart. 

Een burgerpiloot die op dat moment in dat gebied vloog maakte melding van zes langgerekte felle lichten die eruit zagen als vallende sterren. 

Vervolgens zagen de verkeersleiders op hun schermen dat de ufo’s langs het Capitool en het Witte Huis vlogen, waarna ze opeens weg waren. 


De kranten in die tijd stonden bol van de spannende verhalen over de gebeurtenis.

Maar, dat was nog niet het einde van de ufo’s, want de volgende zaterdag waren ze terug boven de Amerikaanse hoofdstad. 

Hetzelfde soort blips verscheen op de radarschermen en dit keer werden er twee jets de lucht in gestuurd om polshoogte te nemen. 

Het waren twee F-94 jets die op zoek gingen naar de vreemde objecten.

Echter, er gebeurde iets bijzonders, want iedere keer als ze door de verkeersleiders naar een bepaalde positie werden gedirigeerd en daar aan kwamen, waren de objecten plots verdwenen. 

Eindelijk zag één van de piloten zelf een fel licht in de verte en zette de achtervolging in. 

“Ik probeerde contact te maken met de “bogies” op een hoogte van minder dan 1000 voet”, zei de piloot later tegen de pers. “Ik vloog met maximum snelheid, maar zelfs toen kwam ik helemaal niet dichterbij. Ik heb uiteindelijk de achtervolging maar opgegeven, want ik had geen schijn van kans om ze in te halen”.

Direct na deze gebeurtenissen was er verwarring alom en had de luchtmacht nog niet echt de gelegenheid gehad om een goed verhaal te bedenken, hetgeen blijkt uit de volgende videoclip waar Tyler van Secureteam deze week mee kwam. 

Het is een verklaring van generaal majoor Samford die gewoon toegeeft dat ze niet weten wat hier allemaal gebeurde. 



Later werd uiteraard de hele gebeurtenis zoals gewoonlijk in de doofpot gestopt en kwam de luchtmacht met een verklaring dat hier sprake was geweest van een temperatuurinversie, hetgeen een soort mirage effect veroorzaakt zou hebben. 

Kortom, iedereen zou dingen hebben gezien die er niet echt waren. Aangezien dit gebeurde in een tijd alle mensen nog geloofden wat kranten drukten en deze het verhaal van de inversie allemaal braaf plaatsten, verdween deze fenomenale gebeurtenis naar de achtergrond. 

Echter, zoals we zes jaar geleden al schreven, er zat nog een bijzonder staartje aan dit verhaal.

Hier een deel uit dat artikel: 

Het merkwaardige echter, afgezien van de bijzondere waarnemingen, was dat de Amerikaanse luchtmacht, De Los Angeles Herald Examiner en Life Magazine ongeveer een week voordat de waarnemingen begonnen aangetekende brieven ontvingen waarin werd meegedeeld dat deze gebeurtenis zou gaan plaatsvinden. 

Deze brieven waren afkomstig van George van Tassel. Hij stond in contact met buitenaardse beschavingen. Hij was ook de eerste die de naam “channeling” gebruikte om te kunnen differentiëren tussen zijn manier van communiceren en die van spirituele mediums. 

Al op heel jeugdige leeftijd had Van Tassel grote belangstelling voor vliegen en het duurde dan ook niet lang voordat hij zijn vliegbrevet had. Voor de oorlog werkte hij jaren als testpiloot en gedurende de Tweede Wereldoorlog heeft hij veel gevlogen met de beroemde Howard Hughes. 

Na de oorlog had hij genoeg van de hectiek en opende zelf een klein vliegveld in de woestijn in Californië, Great Rock genaamd. Het is dan ook op dit vliegveld waar een UFO is geland in 1953 en George voor het eerst fysiek contact maakte met de buitenaardsen. 

George had voor het eerst contact met de buitenaardsen in 1952 en dat was wanneer ze hem vertelden dat ze naar de aarde waren gekomen vanwege hun zorgen omdat de mens erin was geslaagd een atoombom te ontwikkelen en te laten ontploffen. Sinds die tijd zijn ze eigenlijk ook permanent op aarde omdat de mensheid tot op de dag van vandaag niet heeft laten zien dat we geen gevaar meer opleveren voor de rest van het zonnestelsel. 

George van Tassel die in 1978 is overleden, had ook het grote voorrecht om mee te gaan voor een vlucht in een UFO. Daarnaast heeft hij veel informatie ontvangen ondermeer over tijdreizen. 

Nu is er een zeldzame video opgedoken van een oud interview met George van Kassel uit 1968. Kijk en luister wat hij te vertellen had op televisie destijds in een uitzending die op 18 juni 1968 werd uitgezonden.

VREEMD OBJECT ONTDEKT IN STERRENBEELD ORION ( VIDEO )

Het sterrenbeeld Orion is fascinerend, omdat er veel verbanden te vinden zijn met onze aarde. 

Van de Egyptische piramiden, tot de tweede ster en de miermensen van de Hopi indianen, allen wijzen zij naar Orion waar nu een vreemd groot object is ontdekt.

En dat verhaal schijnt inderdaad te kloppen, want iedereen kan met behulp van een bepaald programma zelf kijken en dit object ontdekken. 

Het is een programma van de American Astronomical Society en het heet Worldwide Telescope. 

Met behulp van dit programma heeft Scott helemaal bovenin het sterrenbeeld Orion het volgende bizar ogende object ontdekt.

Wanneer je het beeld plat neerlegt, ziet het er zo uit:

Een opmerkelijk gegeven is dat de beelden die door de American Astronomical Society worden gebruikt niet afkomstig zijn van Google. 

Wij weten niet of bij Google hetzelfde object te vinden is, maar zo niet dan zegt dat nog weinig omdat Google nogal eens beelden censureert. 

In de volgende video vertelt Scott wat meer over zijn ontdekking. 

Wat het ook is, de afmetingen van het object zijn enorm. Is het een enorm ruimtestation van buitenaardsen zoals Scott denkt, of is het misschien toch iets in de software wat dit veroorzaakt. 

In de volgende video die we van de lezer kregen, wat meer achtergrond over waarom de Orion nevel voor ons mensen zo interessant is.

Ook de miermensen van de Hopi’s zijn afkomstig uit de Orion Nevel. 

De Hopi geloven in een eeuwige cyclus van schepping en vernietiging. Hierdoor worden er onophoudelijk werelden geschapen en vernietigd. De eerste wereld werd vernietigd door vuur, de tweede door vorst en de derde door een zondvloed. Wij leven in de 4de wereld, deze wereld zou vol met pijn, leed en erg hard zijn. De Hopi overleefden de vernietiging van de derde wereld door zich ondergronds terug te trekken. Dit zal nog tweemaal gebeuren, maar alleen zij met een puur hart kunnen deze plek betreden. Ondergronds leven de miermensen, zij worden beschreven als bleek met grote hoofden en zwarte ogen. Ze hebben kleine lichaampjes, met dunne armen en soms 6 vingers. De miermensen tonen verbazend veel overeenkomst met de greys 

Niet alleen de miermensen komen daar vandaan, maar ook nog iets anders en beiden worden uitgebreid beschreven door Evert Jan Poorterman. 

Uit mijn verhaal (zie de complete 142 afleveringen) dat de tweede ster, de bij-Zon Ra (of Anu of Gud) afkomstig is uit de Orion-Nevel (de kraamkamer van jonge sterren) uit het zogenaamde Orion-sterrenstelsel. Dat in acht genomen hebbende is het niet zo heel vreemd dat de ‘miermensen’, aldus de Hopi in Amerika, volgens hen afkomstig zijn van Orion. Niet alleen omdat hun lijven de vorm blijken te hebben van een Mier en dat die Mier weer lijkt op de vorm van Orion, maar ook omdat ze zich evoluëerden op de planeten rond de tweede ster Ra. Hun essentie, hun ‘sterrenstof’ komt van Orion, eenvoudigweg omdat ze meekwamen met de jonge nog ‘vuurbrakende’ ster!
